Bilbo Baggins X GN Reader
Additional Characters: The Company and Gandalf (Mentioned)
WC: 1,125
Warnings: The Hobbit canon fighting mentioned, slight baby angst, and huge fluff
It was late at night when you came across the Hobbit home, with the glowing mark that Gandalf had left. You were a bit late, but only because you had become a bit lost in the beginning. You walked up to the door and knocked twice; hearing the loud chatter of the dwarves that were already inside. Hearing the hurried pitter patter of feet, the large round door opened, revealing whom you could only assume was Master Baggins. You immediately gave the Hobbit a smile, and Bilbo gave you a shocked wide-eye stare in return.
But, he was quick to snap out of his awe-like gaze, stepping aside for you to enter while offering you a cup of warm tea; to apologize for leaving you out in the cold. You couldn't help but fawn over the little Hobbit, who was so sweet and polite. He took your jacket, and you made your way inside. The lamps around the home gave it a warm glow, and the smell of food filled your nose. As you were walking down the hallway, you were greeted by the dwarves and Gandalf, as the dwarves tried to convince the poor Hobbit to become the Company's burglar.
You thought it was mighty adorable when Bilbo's nose wrinkled and twitched as he stared at the Company's contract. His eyebrows furrowed and eyes narrowed before the dwarves spoke of the dragon they were definitely going to run into when on the journey; Bilbo fainted. You swiftly made your way to his side, doing your best to sit him up and lay him on his chair near the fire. You sat across from him, re-reading the contract as you waited for him to wake. It didn't take too long, but he awoke, after you, the dwarves, and Gandalf left that night, Bilbo came running up; he wanted the adventure.
As the trip began, you and Bilbo became pretty close, riding ponies next to each other, talking about everything and nothing, and laughing whenever a joke got passed around. Soon enough, you found yourself falling deeper and deeper in love with the Hobbit, and he fell just as fast for you. Bilbo was shy at first, but soon got used to having you around, and enjoyed your company. As did you.
You and Bilbo were inseparable, always being together, and even the Company noticed how close the two of you got. It seemed like there wasn't an inch of space that wasn't occupied by one another, sitting next to each other, or keeping each other warm; cuddled up at night.
And when you and the Company got captured by those nasty trolls, you were beyond impressed when Bilbo was able to distract those trolls; Gandalf quickly came to finish the job.
To be honest, after that moment, you knew you were in love with Bilbo.
Bilbo knew he was in love with you when you were brushing your hair, watching you in a dream-like state as the moon's rays shone down on you.  When you turned to look at him; your lips curled into a small smile, and his face turned red, and he looked away, refusing to meet your eye.
Even though Bilbo fell back into being shy around you, that didn't stop him from spending as much time with you.
Bilbo would sneak you extra portions of dinner, and after you'd both walk together, staying close to the camp, stargazing. The company would notice this, and tease Bilbo, saying how he was treating you like royalty.
You loved seeing the happiness in his eyes every time he saw you, and you loved the feeling of his hand in yours.
Soon, you landed in Mirkwood, where you found yourself trapped behind a cell door. You sat in your cell, back and head leaning against the stone wall. The dwarves were fighting, yelling at one another and you were becoming tired of it. You just hoped Bilbo was alright. And that he wasn't killed by those spiders.
And imagine your surprise, when he came with the keys, unlocking all the cell doors and freeing you. You had to stop yourself from running into his arms, knowing you still had to get out of Mirkwood in the first place.
Fighting orcs while barreling down a rushing river was not what you thought was going to happen. You held tight onto Bilbo's arm, as he tried to stay afloat without a barrel. wishing the barrel had enough room for the both of you.
Upon exiting the river, then you pulled Bilbo into the hug you both so craved. The warmth from his body, the feel of his arms around you, your heart beating wildly inside your chest… All of these feelings overwhelmed you so much that you had to hold onto him tighter. Bilbo hugged back just as tightly.
"I missed you, too," He whispered in your ear, causing the butterflies in your stomach to flutter even more. He leaned closer, giving you a soft kiss on your forehead.
"I'm so glad you weren't eaten by spiders." You breathed, pulling away and holding his hands, looking into his brown eyes. They were shining like jewels in the moonlight. "I love you, Bilbo."
"I love you, too, (Y/N)."
That was the night you began courting each other.
You'd both scoot your bedrolls together, holding hands as you stared up at the stars together.
Bilbo would tell you stories of his home, his family, and his old simple life.
Bilbo promised that after the journey, he'd take you back to the Shire with him; where you could live your life together.
You loved that idea.
As the days went on and turned into months, you all finally arrived at Erebor.
The battle was stressful but victorious. You were all exhausted, as were those who fought alongside you and the dwarves.
But, in the end, you said goodbye to your friends, heading off with Bilbo back to the Shire.
The trip was long, but you were happy everything was over.
At the Shire, you were quick to help Bilbo get all his stuff back from his aunt and the rest of the Shire residents.
After that, everything was perfect.
You'd help Bilbo plant the acorn in his garden, watching as it slowly grew into a beautiful tree.
You spent many peaceful nights sitting by the fire, reading together.
Bilbo would cook for you, making you breakfast in bed, tea at tea time, and so on, and you loved it.
You helped Bilbo with his book as well, illustrating some bits and pieces.
You spent every waking moment with each other, getting to know each other and growing stronger together.
Life was perfect. And you wouldn't change any of it.

Any Hobbit worth their salt could recite upon command any number of stories about far-off lands and daring adventures. Children might shudder in their beds thinking of shadowy forests filled with creeping spiders; even adults could blanch over news of wolves spotted near Buckland. But that was all such tales were in the end: Distant news and exciting fiction, meant to entertain and never to touch its listeners. Nothing could ever really involve the Shire. The people of Hobbiton were free to continue their vicarious quests–until one day such a quest did involve the Shire.
“I already told you, Otho, I don’t have a mountain of gold hidden away to give to you. I’m certain that if I did, there would be nothing left after I was forced to buy back my home and all my possessions.”
You looked up from your work behind the counter to see one Bilbo Baggins sitting at a table across the room. He had a mug of ale clutched in one hand and a look of polite distaste on his face.
Upon recognizing his drinking companions, you couldn’t say you blamed him for looking like that. Otho and Lobelia Sackville-Baggins were not your favorite customers when they were minding their own business. Throw in harassing other patrons, and you couldn’t help but shoot them an ugly look of your own behind their backs.
Normally, you would have tried to throw them out. Now that you were in serious competition with your younger brother over the inheritance of the inn, however, you decided it would be better not to make a scene. "A patron is a patron, so long as they’ve got gold to spend," as your father had reminded you since you’d started working at the Green Dragon in your tweens. Apparently your brother had no trouble remembering this, though you suspected his good memory was because he didn’t spend much of his time on the clock doing any work, not because he lacked any hint of your admirable temper.
“[Name], quit lollygagging. Table Eight wanted supper fifteen minutes ago,” your father called over the usual evening hubbub.
His watchful eye prevented you from eavesdropping further on Bilbo and his guests, so you flashed your haggard father a grin, picked up a waiting tray of food, and dove back into the throng.
The Green Dragon had been owned by your family since it had been built several generations ago. Sometimes you got the feeling your father would have gladly given up five square meals a day to be rid of the responsibility of running the place. Not so you. Working at the inn made you come alive more than any other place in the whole of the Shire. You had been hanging around it since you were old enough to follow your father to work as a youth and working there since you were bold enough to convince him to give you a job. By necessity, you knew every nook and cranny, every regular’s name, and every story ever told by the grand stone fireplace.
Except, that was, for Bilbo’s story. Even knowing that the mere sight of Otho and Lobelia would anger you, you sneaked another peek over at their table as you set the food down on another surrounded by ravenous tweens. Sure enough, the trio was still there. Bilbo’s polite façade appeared to be fading quickly as he listened to the two of them rant.
“[Name],” whined one of the tween boys, “you’re in the way.”
You hastily removed your hand before any of them could mistake it for part of their meal. Your constantly-hungry youth wasn’t so far behind you that you had forgotten what it felt like.
“Make sure to pay before you leave this time. Don’t want me to have to talk to your parents again, do you?” you asked.
None of them replied.
With a deep breath and a roll of your eyes, you turned away. Before you lay a buzzing dining hall. Hobbits laughed and ate and drank in seemingly every inch of the building. It warmed your heart to see so many happy people enjoying your family’s business. All except for Bilbo, of course, who had dismissed faking politeness entirely and now stared grumpily into the space about his relatives’ heads as they prattled on about whatever it was they had a bone to pick about that night.
Before you could even attempt to interrupt the conversation, your father caught your eye and motioned impatiently at the growing assortment of food and drink waiting to be delivered. You picked your way toward him, progress hindered by the many customers that stopped you to say hello. The conversation at Bilbo’s table had grown quite lively by the time you arrived at the bar to pick up another order.
Truth be told, Bilbo’s fascinating disappearance and reappearance were not the only things about him that kept you looking at him. Neither were his rumored riches; you planned to take over the Dragon and raise your own small fortune, after all. Bilbo had, in fact, always interested you. He had had his own schedule before he’d left the Shire, coming in once a week to drink and listen to the same old stories you did day after day. Always polite, that Bilbo, if admittedly not forcibly friendly like most of the others. You had never had to throw him out for poor behavior, at any rate.
That night was the first night he’d been back to the inn after all his time away. You’d been dying to talk to him since the minute you saw him walk through the door. Between your job and the Sackville-Bagginses, you hadn’t had a chance.
Then an idea occurred to you–a wonderful, terrible, perfect idea. Before any of your fellow workers could guess that you were up to something, you filled your tray with the waiting glasses of ale. Your plan might not have had the best timing, considering the dinner rush and how flustered your father had already become, but he would have to do without you. You were only one Hobbit, and if your father truly believed passing the Green Dragon onto your brother (who was, as usual, suspiciously absent that evening), then what good was your working your fingers to the bone to please customers?
You turned and marched purposely toward the table at which Bilbo, Lobelia, and Otho sat. As you drew nearer, you could understand why Bilbo looked as pained as he did.
“As far as I’m concerned, you forfeited your right to Bag End when you left without saying a word and without electing an heir. The hole is ours,” Otho was saying.
“Is it,” said Bilbo.
Lobelia gave him a very nasty, almost un-hobbotish sneer. “You clearly aren’t right in the head anymore. Dragons? Dwarves? Why don’t you just admit you got into some messy business with that Gandalf fellow and step aside for Otho to be head of the family?”
“Difficult to do when I’m not at all mad, my dear Lobelia. For why should you think I had gold to spare if I never had my grand adventure?”
“You’re a fool,” she said, “a fool and perhaps even a criminal. We could go over your head, Bilbo. Mark my words.”
“Consider them marked. Now if you’ll excuse me…”
“We aren’t done here,” Otho growled, getting up to follow Bilbo away from the table.
Oh, yes you are, you thought.
Just as Otho reached over to pull Bilbo back into his seat, you arrived along with half the dining hall’s drinks. Otho standing up actually provided you with the perfect opportunity. All you had to do was angle your feet just right, and–
Lobelia’s scream told you that you had succeeded. Your staged trip and fall managed to tip all the ale on your tray so that it spilled over the Sackville-Baggginses heads. There they sat, dripping in abject shock, as Bilbo stood staring on in astonishment.
“Oh no!” you squealed dramatically. “Did I do that? I’m ever so sorry. I’m such a klutz!”
With a lurch toward Lobelia, you made to press a towel to her sopping hair. She flinched away before turning the full brunt of her wrath on you.
“You-You-You,” she said. Apparently, your act had rendered her unable to form complete sentences.
This unforeseen bonus didn’t last long; before you could so much as attempt to offer a fake apology, Otho got in your face: “I’ll have your job for this, girl,” he said, and any desire to apologize, falsely or otherwise, vanished.
You hooked a thumb over your shoulder toward where you’d last seen your father running around like a chicken with his head cut off. “Boss is that way.”
The two left without more than several glares in your direction. You watched only long enough to see your father shoot you a knowing, aggrieved sort of look when the Sackville-Bagginses approached him.
Shrugging, you turned away. Well, it was difficult to feel sorry for him. If he really wanted a supper rush without incident, he really ought to have forced your brother to show up for his shifts every once and awhile, especially if you were expected to give up your inheritance without a fight.
All the same, you knew better than to leave a mess behind. You began to pick up the (thankfully unbroken) glasses littering the table and were almost finished by the time Bilbo spoke:
“Thank you.”
You had assumed he had taken the opportunity to escape your inn entirely, actually. His voice surprised you, and even more so that he was standing exactly where you’d left him.
“You don’t need to thank me for being clumsy,” you answered, then smiled mischievously at his blank expression. “It looked like you could use a rescue. Those two shouldn’t bother you again tonight.”
“Thank you,” he said with more feeling.
“It’s your first time back since your adventure. Wouldn’t want you spooked off forever.”
Much to your confusion, Bilbo hesitated before he replied. His eyes slid toward the door and back to you, and then he took a wide step backward. “Right,” he said. “All the same, I think I had better get going.”
As you looked on, he began to shuffle toward the front door. You realized with a jolt exactly what he thought: Bilbo believed you, too, were after his gold. He didn’t exactly look less nervous when you followed after him either.
“That’s a shame,” you said. “I really was hoping to hear your story.”
That got him to pause. “You…were?”
“Sure. Dwarves and dragons and spiders and elves. Sounds better than half of the stories the rest of them have been telling all week. I'm getting a little tired of the time the creek froze over and let the wolves in, personally. ”
“Mine is a rather exciting tale,” Bilbo confessed, then seemed to decide you weren’t so frightening that he couldn’t size you up. “And you are?”
“[Name]. My dad owns the place.”
At that, a look of slight disappointment crossed his face. You didn’t understand it, not until he went on: “Then I suppose you wouldn’t be able to join me at my hole for a cup of coffee and a chat? I find myself wanting a quieter atmosphere, but I could do with some company still.”
The words no, not tonight were right on your lips. You couldn’t just abandon the inn, or your father for that matter.
But on second thought, why couldn’t you? Really, your brother ought to have been there by now to take over, and there were other servers, too, picking their slow ways from table to table. Besides, when was the last time you’d been given time off, or even a break for that matter?
“You know what?” you said. “I’d love to.”
“Delightful!” cried Bilbo, and he held out his arm.
It took you less than half a second to place your tray on top of one of the other server’s trays as she passed by. She gave you a wild-eyed, panicked looked, but you did not explain.
You’d hear all about your lack of responsibility in the morning once your father discovered you had slipped away. For the time being, you were just like any other Hobbit. Who cared about work, the inheritance, or the inn when there was such a fine story to hear and such a fine Hobbit to tell it? Even as you thought about the lecture you were in for, you couldn't find yourself regretting your decision.

I NEED more fics that include Bilbo complaining to the rest of the company about how "Thorin just bats his pretty blue eyes and everyone just falls to their knees! Well,- ! I, for one, will not be persuaded so easily! And he can go- !" and rants in the same vein, of how just because Thorin is hot, he thinks he can get away with whatever. Meanwhile the rest of the company are like "??? But Thorin's ugly???" Bilbo never hears this and they've all agreed to just leave him to his delusions

The only one
“Kili, you can’t tell anyone about this.” “So it’s our dirty little secret then?”
Tumblr media
Paring: Kili Durin x afab reader
Genre: romantic smut
Word count: 2.2k
Summary: You’re Bilbo's adopted human daughter and he takes you along on the journey. Kili has his heart set on you and after getting involved in the fight he gets angry with you for putting yourself in a dangerous situation.
Warnings: public sex, arguing, jealous Kili, hickeys, p in v sex, hickeys??? Idk what else I always forget
a/n: I did not proofread and its lowkey a summary of the first movie? This is my first smut regarding anyone in the tolkien universe but I did write some sad fluff at some point lmao. Anyways, please like and send any requests if you want <3 tags go absolutely wild
You’ve been an adopted hobbit for the last 18 years of your life, Bilbo was always comforted in the known so when he brought you along with him and the dwarfs on their journey you were beyond surprised. Your presence was unexpected for everyone, except Gandalf of course, and most of the company was against your involvement. The dwarves saw you as frail and weak, the only one on your side was your dad, but of course he was.
Kili has kept an eye out for you since you joined the company, he makes sure you're safe and also just enjoys looking at you.
__________
When Elrond and his fellow elves come back the dwarves pull you and your father behind them and create a circle around you. You stay behind your Bilbo as the elves talk with Gandalf.
Upon your entrance to their dining room you look around with wonder, you sit down between Kili and your dad. “They're so beautiful,” you whisper to Bilbo, he nods with a gentle but awkward smile. Kili’s ears twitch as he looks around, his eyes narrow on an elf who has his eyes on you, he moves closer to you wrapping his arm around you.
“You think so?” Kili questions, his jaw clenching slightly, “I think us dwarves are better looking, stronger too.” he says pridefully, you chuckle in response.
“Is it a competition now?” you cock your head, “You’re very good looking too, Kili.” he smiles wide.
“Is that so? I am the best looking of all of the company, aside from Thorin of course.” you laugh, putting your hand on his arm.
“A bit full of yourself huh?” he shoves your shoulder gently in response. Kilis arms finds its way around your waist as he continues to glare at the elf who dared to look at you, who did he even think he was.
Gandalf, Bilbo, and Thorin wander off with Lord Elrond, leaving you with the dwarfs. You watch quietly, laughing with them and listening to their conversations before you feel yourself drifting off to sleep. Kili quietly sits next to you letting your head fall to his shoulder he smiles, covering you up with a blanket.
__________
After the company left the palace Thorin led everyone to the Misty Mountains, Kili keeps you in front of him. He insists that it’s better that way so if you fall he can catch you. As the rain picks up your feet slip under you, Kili and Fili grasp your arms quickly, pulling you back onto the ledge.
“Thank you,” you say softly as your eyes look over the ledge. Kili keeps a hold of your arm tightly as you all try to avoid the stone giant's blasts. The ground splits under your feet as the mountain takes shape as a giant, you grab onto the stone behind you before everyone begins to slide forward.
The stone giant slams into the mountain, throwing everyone off of it and onto the ground. Thorin yells for his nephews as the rest of the company runs over, Kili helps you up dusting your clothes off and checking to make sure you weren’t hurt anywhere.
After all the commotion everyone settles into the cave, Bilbo pulls you off to the side and quietly talks to you, he tells you about his plan to leave once everyone is asleep. “Why dad? What's wrong?” you whisper to him.
“Thorin is right, we never should've left home, I’ve put you in danger and I can’t let anything else happen to you.” he sighs as he runs his hand through your hair, “It’s okay, we’ll be fine.” he smiles reassuringly.
You both gather all of your stuff and sneak out, he leads you by the hand. He pulls you behind him as he talks with Bofur, you stay quiet looking around the cave. You didn’t really want to leave the company, I mean they were becoming your friends, you enjoyed the company.
“Y/N?” Kili mumbles as he looks up at you, he yawns. “Where are you going?” You crouch down putting your hand on his shoulder.
“Go back to sleep Kili, you need your rest,” you smile sweetly.
The floor splits and you slip down with everyone, Bilbo gets away but you are guided off with the dwarves. Your eyes fill with terror as you look around, you take a hold of Kilis hand squeezing tight as the goblins push you all around. You cower behind him, holding onto his shirt tightly.
Once you get out the dwarves all argue over where your dad went, your head drops as you think that your dad couldn't possibly have left you all alone. He reappears and you rush over to hug him, his hands drop to your waist as he smiles.
“Y/N!” Kili and Bilbo yell at you as you try to defend the dwarves with your small blade; it goes into the center of the wargs head, and Kili grabs you and pulls you up to the tree with him. His hand wrapping around your waist as he holds you close.
“Don’t move,” Kili’s voice is angry as he demands you to stay put. His hands dig into your slides as you look below your feet. Kili’s hands slip away as they start to throw the pinecones, the tree begins to fall, you grasp onto the trunk as tight as you can. His hands wrap around the tree, his eyes focused on you.
As Thorin and your father begin to fight the orcs, your eyes squeeze shut tightly, you try to focus on anything but the attack of Thorin. Kili pulls you up and onto the ground, insisting you stay put as they go to fight. You look forward, clutching the blade you retrieved from the corpse tight. As all of the commotion ensues you feel yourself being picked up by an eagle.
Once you all are in a safe place you watch as Gandalf helps heal Thorin. You stand next to your dad, holding onto his arm, as Thorin goes in for a hug you let go of him and move back. Your eyes wander to Kili who turns his head in order to avoid eye contact with you.
As the company moves forward you come across an area close to a river, Gandalf suggests that you all take a break and bathe. You and Kili were the last to go, you were paired up at the recommendation of Fili.
Kili guides you to the river, holding his weapon close to his chest, he’s been giving you the silent treatment after you got in between a fight. “You can bathe here, I’ll keep watch.” his voice stern.
“Kili..” your voice trails off as you look at his back, trying to pull his attention to you.
“Y/N, just take your bath. It’s getting dark.” Kili’s tone is extremely cold. You pout your lips as you begin pulling your clothing off slowly, once you finish you slip into the cold water.
“You can turn back now,” you say softly before you dip all the way under the water, holding your breath and squeezing your eyes shut. After a while you break the surface of the water sliding your hands over your face pulling the water back with your hair. Kili had turned around keeping his eyes on everything but you.
“Kili,” you wave him over, “come here, please.” you bite your lip as he gives you a bored expression.
“What is it?” he walks close to the bank of the river, his eyes scanning your face.
“Shouldn’t you join me? You're supposed to bathe as well,” he sighs, turning his back to you again.
“Fine, turn away.” he sets down his sword and strips quickly. You face the other way as he slips into the water with you.
“Kili, what is your problem?” you huff, spinning around with your arms crossed over your breasts.
“What do you mean?” his eyes are half closed as he looks at you with a slightly annoyed expression.
You move closer to him, “I mean, you’re acting so rude for no reason. You won’t look at me, you barely talk to me, you’re being so dumb” you glare at him, “So what is your problem?” he rolls his eyes at you.
“I don’t know maybe the fact that you threw yourself into harm's way? You could’ve gotten yourself killed,” he yells at you while running his hand through his hair.
“Calm down Kili,” you move close to him, putting your hand on his arm. “I didn’t expect you to get all worked up like this, I know I should have been more careful but I just wanted to help.” your eyebrows furrow as you look down.
His warm hands grasp your upper arms “You really worried me Y/N,” he presses his forehead against yours.
“You worried about me?” a sly smile paints itself on your lips, “does that mean you like me Kili?” your voice is soft and teasing. His ears turn a deep shade of crimson as he turns his head up.
“Y/N cut that out,” he puts his hand on the side of your neck, his eyes flick to your lips.
“Cut what out?” you wrap your arms around his neck pulling yourself close to him.
“You know what,” he clenches his jaw, your hands running down his back as you wrap your legs around his hips.
Kili pulls your face to his, hovering his lips over yours “Quit teasing me,” he whispers. Your hand snakes up to the back of his head, cradling it as you push your lips against his. His hands move to your waist, his fingers dig into your soft flesh as he hugs you tighter against him.
“Mahal,” he pulls away, pressing soft kisses down your face and onto your neck. You lean back letting his lips trail over your body, your nails scratch his scalp softly as you arch into him.
“Amrâlimê,” he whispers against your collarbone, “you’re driving me insane,” Kili groans. He grasps your face pulling you in for an intimate kiss, he’s getting more intense with his affections, his hands squeezing your hips roughly.
Your hand trails down his chest tracing every muscle on his stomach, he begins grinding against you while holding your hips against him. Pulling away from the kiss you gasp for air, leaning your head against his shoulder, you wrap your hands in his hair pulling it off to the side. Kissing his neck roughly you begin to leave soft marks on his flesh as he massages your ass.
“Y/N..” he mumbles into your ear, you moan softly as he picks you up, moving into shallow water. “Can we..?” his ears flush as he looks away, “I mean, would you mind?” you chuckle softly.
“Mhm,” you move your hips against his thigh, feeling him twitch underneath you. “But we’ll have to be quick..” you kiss his shoulder as his hands pull your hips up, he lines himself up with your hole, pushing the tip in.
“Let me know if it hurts,” he says gently, his hand finding its way to your neck grabbing ahold of it pulling your head back as you moan softly. He bucks his hips up into you, leaning forward you bury your face into his nape hugging him tight as you moan into his skin.
“My precious girl,” he groans as he slowly begins moving your hips up and down, his fingers digging into your soft skin, leaving red marks. You moan into his ear as you begin riding him, your arms wrap tight around his neck, eyebrows furrowing as you squeeze around his dick.
Kili cradles your head against him, holding you as close as he can, thrusting up into you pushing as deep as he can. Your head falls onto his shoulder, he moves a hand down to your sensitive clit, rubbing circles into it.
“I’m so close,” you moan, Kili nods in response.
“Me too,” he groans, his hands exploring every part of your body as he pulls you into a passionate kiss.
“Hey, Y/N, Kili, hurry it up.” Fili yells to you, causing the both of you to jolt up. Kili pushes himself into you as deep as he can. You bite your lip as you cum around him, your hole pulsing.
Your back arches, silent gasps leaving your open mouth as you ride out your high. Your whole body seems to tense up causing Kili to groan while he cums deep inside you. He pulls you off of him giving you a sweet kiss.
“Now we really need to clean up, and fast.” He says lowly, his hands creep up from behind you gasping your sides as he pulls you into deeper water to rinse off. You sigh contently as he holds your body close to his.
After quickly cleaning yourselves up; you both get out, drying off before putting your clothes back on.
“Kili, you can’t tell anyone about this.” you bite your lip as you turn to him, his eyebrows furrow. “Bilbo might actually get so mad he tries to kill you,” you giggle softly as his face relaxes.
“So it’s our dirty little secret then?” coming close to you he wraps his arms around your neck giving you a deep kiss. “But we will get to tell everyone later, right?” he pulls back, eyes scanning yours.
“Yes, Kili,” you kiss the tip of his nose, hands resting on his shoulders, “but let's wait it out for a bit, okay?” he smiles in response.

there’s something tragic about bilbo becoming the very thing he tried to prevent thorin from being with the arkenstone but with the ring instead
the hobbit who was willing to betray a ‘friend’ (they kissed bet) to keep him from becoming possessive to the point where the dwarf forgets that gold and pretty stones are not what’s most important just to become just as possessive over a gold ring years later
do you ever think bilbo paused and realised this is what thorin felt about the arkenstone
i think it sent him to tears

Replying to your request for prompts:
Could you write a super cute fic of Reader being on the quest with the other dwarves, and having extreme menstrual cramps, and the dwarves being overly gentle, kind, and worrying? maybe even thorin uncharacteristically gently rubbing her back as she curls up beneath her blanket?
The Company When You Have Cramps
Tumblr media
warnings: female parts/female reader, menstruation, cramps, lmk if there's anything else !!
having woman parts sucked. and you were well aware of this when you set out on the journey to The Lonely Mountain with Thorin's company and prepared accordingly.
however, what you weren't prepared for, was cramps so bad they could rival the power of the gods (or so you thought).
you had carried on traveling for as long as could until the pain was quiet literally unbearable and you were ready to double over and just lay in the middle of the road.
at first you thought that the others would be mad or just tell you to suck it up and keep moving, but actually it was the exact opposite. they stopped and started setting up camp for the night and Oin even asked why you didn't speak up sooner seeing as you where in so much discomfort.
they didn't have any issues with you rolling out your bed mat and curling up like a ball with your blanket while they set up camp. you wished you help but you were in so much pain you didn't even think you could get up if you wanted to.
Bomber started cooking shortly after everything was set up and the fire was started. Oin had mixed together some herbs and it dulled the pain slightly but it wasn't much help, you were still in a lot of pain.
dwarves don't have a lot of women in their ranks, so imagine they take these struggles and the pain that women go though very seriously. they treat their women with the upmost respect and care.
as you laid there curled up with your head just barely peaking out from over your blanket Thorin came and squatted down in front of you. he has a sister, so I imagine he's pretty familiar with the struggles you're dealing with.
"how are you feeling?" he asks and after a moment you sit up properly next to him. "pretty shit actually."
he chuckles at your remark and hands you some warm soup, when you take it he moves his hand away to rub your back soothingly. the others are pretty preoccupied so they don't notice his sweet gesture, but you're very grateful for it.
Oin gives you more herbs after you eat and Ori joins you for a bit to talk and ask if you're alright. Fili and Kili also join you to joke around for a bit and try and get you to take your mind off the miserable state you were in. this actually works.
Bilbo also joins in on just talking with you when the others have to go do stuff like snuff out the fire or start their turn keeping watch. he brings you water and snacks/more food because food makes everything better. He is also the only one who thought to get something heated for you to put on your stomach.
he takes your water pack and as the fire is going down he places it close by and lets it heat up for a while, then he gives it you. he's very sad he doesn't have tea to offer you.
every once in a while someone will come up to you and ask if you're ok and if you need anything. just as everyone was getting ready for bed Thorin checks on you again and Oin gives you some herbs for sleep.
when you wake up you're convinced that whatever Oin gave you before you went to sleep wasn't just to ease pain and make you tired because you felt better than ever. you definitely had a spring in your step for the rest of the day.
the company was glad to see you feeling better and you helped them clean up and get back on the road. no one complained about having to stop and instead checked up on you throughout the journey to make sure you were still feeling ok.
anyway all of these guys are angles and I love them. they would def be worried and would tell you that if you're ever in pain from cramps or something again to let them know so they could stop for a bit and give you herbs.
(also if Gandalf was around when you were dealing with all that he def would've sat there with his pipe and let you smoke some of it. You know, just to keep you relaxed lol).

I had a fic search request on my discord server for Bagginshield fic where Hobbits have tails. I was completely shocked that I couldn't find any, (searching the Bagginshield tag on ao3 for "tail" brings up some weeeeeird stuff!) but I realized that's because your Hobbits with tails art has taken over my brain and it just feels like there's a whole fic out there already! So, I was going through your Bagginshield works (🥰) and a random thought occurred to me...do you think consort!Bilbo would wear any kind of jewelry (or a braid?!?) on his tail? 🤩
Tumblr media
YES!! Thorin would absolutely make a bunch of jewels and rings and bedazzelmemts for Bilbo. And marvel when Bilbo wears them
Here are some more headcanons:
Hobbits wear their wedding rings on their tails since a lot of them are farmers and workers, so Thorin always makes extra rings just for Bilbos tail
When Bilbo is looking for Thorin he will subconsciously wiggle his tail so the rings make noise. Thorin always answers the call
Once it’s long enough Bilbo would wear a braid in his hair. Thorin likes to braid it. Bilbo learns to as well but keeps it to making Thorins hair pretty and fancy
After the journey Bilbo starts wearing much more simpler and comfortable clothing. Whether he is in Hobbiton or on court makes no difference. He sometimes will wear the fancy clothes for important events but keeps mostly to something one can move around in effectively
He constantly travels around. To the elves, to other dwarf folks, to the hobbits and back. Always documenting his journey and knowledge and sharing it with the world. As such he is very popular and gained some refined muscles. He still likes to have the belly and eat with a lot of hearth. But he is considered very strong and with an impressive stature for a hobbit
(The drwarfs see him more like one of themselves)
He has a little bit of facial hair grown. It’s not much and never will be much but it’s a little bit and Bilbo is proud of it
People think he always looks like he is analysing you and every situation. When he sits on court the nobels are always more careful with what they say bc Bilbo has a tendency to read everyone like a book and snap with the situation calls for it. Thorin thinks it’s funny unless the eyes are set on him

One of the best parts of Fellowship of the Ring is finding out about Aragorn and Bilbo’s friendship. Like I’ve seen people talk about how they collaborated on the song together, but I have yet to see people talk about this:
“[Bilbo] turned to Strider. ‘Where have you been, my friend? Why weren’t you at the feast? The Lady Arwen was there.’”
Bilbo Baggins, The Fellowship of the Ring pg. 261
Like. Bilbo was definitely one of Aragorn/Arwen’s chief shippers and no one can change my mind about that.

Thorin: You're a lying piece of shit!
Kili: Oh yeah? You're the idiot that thinks you can get away with everything you do, WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD!
Y/n: I'm leaving and I'm taking Fili with me!
Bilbo, gathering cards: Aaaaand that's enough Monopoly for today.
