KIND REMINDERS 🤍
1. You are someone’s dream girl exactly the way you are right now.
We put so much emphasis on growth and getting to that “next best place”, which is fine, but we always forget that we deserve self-love as we are right now. It does not mean that you aren’t at your “best” physically and/or mentally that you aren’t deserving of love, kindness, and respect.
2. Perspective is everything
Stop stressing over that one bad grade you received at school. In ten years, you won’t even remember what teacher gave it to you. Focus your energy on things that’ll have lasting impacts. When you look back on your life, you want to see the beauty of it, not the anguish.
3. Growth isn’t linear
Don’t blame yourself for messing up. We aren’t perfect and we are bound to mess up every once in a while. Learn from your mistakes, and try to not repeat them. And if you do, that’s okay, there’s always another time. Growth has no time limit.
4. You are not a bad person
If you are sitting here constantly asking yourself if you are a bad person or underserving of love, I’m here to tell you one thing: bad people don’t worry about whether they are perceived as “good” or “bad”. Give yourself grace, and stop letting your overthinking consume you.
So much love,
A girl unfiltered 💋

... doesn't just mean accepting yourself as you are.
it's more about accepting and loving who you are right now, while also caring about yourself enough to see if you can make things better for yourself.

Nettle pesto!!
I have already confessed my love for vegetables and I will now do it again. Cause I just made “pesto” and it’s so nutrient dense 😩 🌱
ingredients + benefits:
Walnuts - omega 3, Vitamins B6 and E
Nettles - Vitamins A, K, C, iron, calcium magnesium and more!
Olive oil - healthy fats & antioxidants
Parmesan - idk lol
Lemon - Vitamin C
We didn’t have basil sadly, I don’t know if I can call this pesto really😅 oh well. We’ll live.
I just ran like 7 kilometers, my feet hurt🏃🏻‍♀️
My mom is making salmon for dinner which is also good for you, contains a bunch of healthy fats, omega 3, protein of course, selenium and vitamin B6 🐟
I hope all of you are fueling your bodies with good things!! Take care!!
Go outside as well!!!

Tinnitus is a medical term that refers to a noise generated inside the head rather than in the environment. It is a common problem that affects millions of people around the world. Statistics say that 36 million people suffer from tinnitus in the United States, so it can be considered a fairly common condition. Other studies conducted in different countries also show that the prevalence of tinnitus ranges from 5% to 15% of the adult population.
Tinnitus can originate from various places in the body, including the ear or the brain itself, and along the path between the ear and the brain. The noise can be of different types, such as a whistle, a buzz, a hiss, or a roar. It can be constant or intermittent, and can vary in intensity and frequency.
There are two main types of tinnitus: non-pulsatile (subjective) and pulsatile (objective). Non-pulsatile tinnitus is caused by abnormal activity in the auditory cortex of the brain responsible for sound processing. It is often the result of hearing loss, exposure to loud noises, or ear related disorders. Pulsatile tinnitus is vascular in nature and involves noise from the blood vessels near the ear. It is often caused by abnormal blood vessels or abnormal vasculature problems, such as tumors.
For most people, tinnitus is temporary and goes away quickly. But for some people, tinnitus is chronic and can significantly affect quality of life. Tinnitus can affect people's lives in many ways, depending on the intensity, frequency and type of noise they hear. Some possible consequences of tinnitus in people's lives are: Physical and mental health problems, such as fatigue, stress, changes in sleep and concentration, memory problems, depression, anxiety, or irritability. Hearing problems, such as difficulty hearing real sounds, understanding speech, or locating the source of sounds. Communication problems, such as difficulty holding a conversation, participating in social or professional activities, or isolating yourself from others. Emotional well-being problems, such as low self-esteem, frustration, anger or hopelessness.
To prevent tinnitus, it is important to avoid or reduce the factors that can cause or aggravate the problem. Some prevention measures you can take are: Limit exposure to loud noises, which can damage the hearing cells in the inner ear. If you can't get away from loud sounds, use appropriate hearing protection, such as earplugs or earmuffs. Lower the volume of electronic devices such as television, radio, or headphones, and avoid prolonged use of these devices. Let your ear rest from time to time. Have your ears cleaned regularly by a professional to prevent the accumulation of substances that can clog the external auditory canal. Properly treat ear infections, which can cause inflammation and irritation in the auditory system. Avoid excessive intake of medications, alcohol, and caffeine, which can have ototoxic effects or alter blood circulation in the ear. Avoid smoking, which can impair vascular health and increase the risk of tinnitus. Controlling cardiovascular diseases, such as hypertension or atherosclerosis, which can affect blood flow in the ear and cause pulsatile tinnitus. Take care of mental health by avoiding stress and seeking psychological support if necessary. Stress can make tinnitus worse and cause anxiety, depression, or irritability.

10 Bad Habits that Can Drain Your Focus at Work
Tumblr media
It is important to be mindful of the habits that drain your focus. This will help you to maintain a more productive workday and be more productive overall.
Here are 10 habits that can drain your focus if you don't overcome them:
Procrastination: Putting things off until the last minute can lead to stress and a lack of focus on the task at hand.
Multitasking: Trying to do too many things at once can spread your focus thin and make it difficult to complete any one task effectively.
Distractions: External distractions like notifications or an untidy workspace can disrupt your focus.
Lack of sleep: Not getting enough sleep can lead to fatigue, which can make it difficult to focus and be productive.
Lack of breaks: Working for long periods without breaks can lead to burnout and a lack of focus.
Unclear goals: Without specific and achievable goals, it can be hard to focus and stay motivated.
Negative thinking: Negative thoughts can lead to a lack of confidence and a lack of focus on the task at hand.
Poor time management: Not effectively managing your time can lead to feeling overwhelmed and a lack of focus.
Procrastination: Procrastination can be a major obstacle to productivity and focus. When you put off tasks until the last minute, it can create a sense of urgency that can be distracting and make it hard to concentrate on the task at hand. This is because your brain is constantly reminding you of the deadline and the potential consequences of not completing the task on time.
Poor Nutrition: When you don’t consume enough nutrients, your body lacks the fuel it needs to function properly. This can lead to feelings of fatigue, difficulty concentrating and decreased productivity.
By working to overcome these habits, you can improve your focus and productivity.

#i feel as though I should start a tag like deep thoughts with the bloz or some shit for my new kick of live journaling about my angst#but anyway hot tip for all the people pleasers out there#surround yourself with mostly supportive people who dont take advantage of others unfairly and who are thoughtful about other people#100% of the time it works every time to make your life so much more enjoyable and easier#and it isn't mean to expect at least the bare minimum of social competence and normal behaviour from others before you agree to socialize#and associate with them (which is sort of what i was guilted into believing growing up)#because guess what that's how you avoid harmful creeps!#your feelings and boundaries exist for a reason and it does suck that sometimes people are just really bad at social skills#but it's not your responsibility to be their therapist or the one exception who will be there for them or whatever else either if they're#truly making you feel weird or unsafe#you as a people pleaser are probably HYPER concerned with being pleasant and polite and accommodating and all these other things that#you worked very hard to become and you will burn yourself out and/or get hurt and/or resentful if you feel exhausted or used#or unappreciated for it and half the time you are actually doing it more for yourself than for others anyways#because it makes you feel valued and like a good person#this is also all related to having issues with codependency too btw which i do because my whole family does#def recommend reading up on both things if you relate it will improve your mental health very much#love you wishing you the best things in 2023 we all got this we are going to do great 😘🧡 muah#p
