MAKING YOUR PHONE TO BE INTENTIONAL

MAKE A VISION BOARD WALLPAPER. Create one that aligns with your goals and dream self, so that every time you pick your phone up, you’re reminded of your goals and future vision. Also, great for manifesting! 
KNOW YOUR APP’S PURPOSE. For me, tumblr is a way I share advice and learn, YouTube I also learn from others, pinterest I get inspired, netflix is a way for me to unwind etc. If for any app, you cannot name a proper purpose/intent to use it daily or to help with your goals, delete it. 
DECIDE WHICH TYPES OF APPS YOU WANT. If you have a new phone, or you want to completely reset your phone, write or type, the apps, that you want and those you don’t. 
E.g I want to learn a language, practice mindfulness on the go, get some mental gratification that isn’t addicting, organise my life better and have a way to track my progress. I don’t want apps that support doom-scrolling, make me compare myself and are addictive. 
BE MINDFUL OF WHAT YOU SIGN UP TO. Newsletters, social media, subscribing to YouTubers and so on, just think about your goals and vision and if they align with them, every time you think about signing up/subscribing. 
HAVE NO PHONE TIME/ZONES. For me, my phone is not allowed to be used in bed. If I must use my phone, I have to get out of bed first. My phone is also not allowed during study time, so I put it in a separate room which makes it inconvenient. 
REGULARLY DO A DIGITAL DECLUTTER. Delete any old contacts that you don’t talk to, unsubscribe from newsletters and YouTube channels, organise your socials etc. Removes space and helps us to see our phones with more clarity. 
SET PURPOSEFUL WIDGETS. These can be anything, motivational quotes, your daily to-do list, reminders of your habits and so on. However, make sure you’re looking at them and they're not just taking up space.

The Language of Plants and Crystals 🌿💎 During my daily walks, I've discovered a secret language spoken by the plants and crystals. The rustling leaves whisper ancient wisdom, while the sparkling crystals hum with energy. Nature, the most potent spell caster, teaches me to be still, listen, and learn.
Embracing the Elements 🌊🔥💨🌍 The elements surround us at all times, and recognising their presence is a powerful key to unlock everyday magic. I breathe in the fresh air, feel the earth beneath my feet, and let the rain cleanse my spirit. When I light a candle, I invoke the transformative power of fire. sometimes, even the people who you think can help you out in an anxious situation might not be able to relate or understand what's troubling you.
sharing with intention helps in such cases. before you begin sharing, let the other person know whether you need them to just listen OR offer advice OR help you relax.

As many of you know, this was a tough year for me (check the video below). But despite 2023 being a difficult year, there were many lessons that were important for me that came from the pain and regrets. While on the outside things have looked positive with work, a new home, a new city, a marriage and all of the things we’re told we need to be happy, there was some inflicted pain. But I was able to learn and grow from each. Listen, we all make mistakes or have regrets in our lives. But we can’t beat ourselves up over these mistakes. We can choose to learn and grow from each of them. These are 10 surprising regrets I have from 2023. And I will use these as I go into 2024 in setting my intentions and looking at 2024 ahead. Don't come to me with an agenda. Come to me with your truth.
Don't present a false picture. Come to me with all your pieces, tattered and torn, and let me see the diamonds among the glitter. Allow help to build or rebuild the masterpiece that resides within.
Please, don't pretend to be put together if you have already unraveled. Come to me with your frazzled. Let us untangle the knots into neat spools to knit or weave anew.
Don't haphazardly dress your festering wounds. Arrive with them gaping. Allow time and tenderness to help you clean, stitch, and dress, especially when the world only gawks before looking away.
Do not hide them away. Let me meet your demons and show them where mine reside; take a breath as someone else plays with them for a while.
There is no need to remain uncomfortable. Take your shoes off, lift your feet, let me draw your sorrows from your tender, sore, soles as they extoll from your mind.
When it flows, don't hold it in. Allow your ails to fall into a pile as they collect on the floor. I will sweep them up into a neat one, barefoot and dancing; with a smile helping you sort through the mess, looking for the treasures hidden in the disorderly snarl.
I have sautered my pieces together. Woven my tapestries. Stitched myself whole. Raised other's demons alongside my own. Stumbled upon bruised and gnarled feet. Choked upon feelings barricaded behind walls. Tripped over swallowed debris of what had been let go but not released.
All I have done, I had begun alone, but will not end there, and neither will you.
