Honestly, it's kind of subconscious when it happens.

Obviously, Max isn't a 'Swiftie'. One, that's your thing, in fact, you've coined it to be yours, and two, he doesn't even listen to music.

Yet, every time he's back home for the meantime, and you have the aux, it's always Taylor Swift playing.

"Seriously?" He deadpans, quirking an eyebrow at the radio. "What?" You furrow your eyebrows and ask innocently, despite completely knowing what he means to say. "This again?" You simply give him a knowing look, and he decides not to push the matter any further. To be honest, it isn't even that bad. Most of it is tolerable, anyway.

Frankly speaking, he's quite concerned when he receives a frantic phone call from you. For one, you've never been one to disturb him during race weekends, and although he wouldn't mind you doing so, you just let him concentrate anyway. You only ever call him when it's really important. "Max." You speak into the microphone, sounding slightly distraught. "What's wrong?" His eyebrows furrow in concern. "I didn't get Era's Tour tickets." You complain, a disappointed sigh leaving your lips.

He takes a moment to digest the information you've just told him. "Let me make a few calls." He reassures you, and although you tell him that it's fine, and you wouldn't want to be a hassle, he insists, only because it makes you happy. After a few conversations with multiple Amex clerks, he gets the two of you tent tickets for when he would be off season. Hey, perks of having a black card, right?

As much as he tries to deny it, your listening habits have definitely had some sort of impact on him.

He doesn't even realise it, but he's started humming. And not just anything, he's started humming Taylor Swift.

He'll admit it. He's a big fan of the 'Reputation' album. Specifically, the track 'End Game', mostly because it just reminds him of you.

It's during a Driver's Briefing when Max is humming it to himself, and Charles is the first to point it out.

"Mate, what the hell are you singing?" Charles laughs, and quickly grabs the attention of the drivers' nearby. "What?" Charles' questions rudely interrupts his trance. "What's happening?" Alex asks, slightly intrigued by this entire ordeal. "Max was humming something..." Charles is now akin to Sherlock Holmes, on the case to find out what Max was humming. "Can you reenact it?" Daniel asks, wiggling his eyebrows with a grin on his face. Charles hums it, perfectly in tune. Musician's ear, right? "Hey, that's Taylor Swift!" Daniel point out, slapping Max's shoulder. Max only rolls his eyes. "Yeah, it's End Game!" Alex adds on, with an expression that made it seem like a lightbulb lit up above his head. "What now?" Charles asks, slightly puzzled. "Yeah, End Game is the song! It's a collab she did with Ron Weasley and Future!" Alex exclaimed. "Mate, how the hell do you know this shit?" Charles gives him a slightly judgmental stare. "Hey, my girlfriend listens to it. Besides, shouldn't you be asking Max the same question?" Alex gestures towards the World Champion's direction. Thanks a lot Alex, Max thinks to himself. "Alex and I are on the same boat." Max says, in a tone which indicated that he would no longer elaborate on the matter. Later on, when he's back in his hotel room and recounting the ordeal to you via Facetime, you're practically laughing your head off.

It's the end of a great season, and you and Max are in the tent of the Era's Tour. You were absolutely ecstatic when Max had proudly presented the tickets to you as soon as he got home from Abu Dhabi, saying that it was a gift for you.

Anyway, you'd be dammed if he wore a stupid Red Bull polo to the Era's Tour. You chose his outfit for him, and although he put it on reluctantly, he seemed to be fine now. Or maybe that was because he'd had 5 too many Gin Tonics. Anyway, that doesn't really matter.

Obviously, you're pretty shocked when Taylor decides to sit on that ever elusive piano stool and starts to press a few keys.

You're beyond overjoyed when she begins to play End Game. Your jaw drops, and you turn to Max and excitedly squeal before turning back to focus your attention on the performance.

However, much to your own shock, probably out of pure drunkenness, Max begins to sing along during Taylor's verse.

Honestly, this is pretty out of character for him.

You conclude that it's the Gin Tonics.

Nonetheless, you grin at him, and wrap your arms around his waist, and the two of you sing along together.

The next morning, Max is so hungover that he can't remember anything.

It's fine though, because by the next morning, videos of Max Verstappen, 3 time World Champion, are circulating of him singing with his heart and soul at a concert.

George Weasley x Reader

Summary: It had been a long day of work, and your poor Hubby needed to detox a little. So, what better way than to have his loving partner help him out? First to put your son to bed, and remind him he deserves some self care

It was Ginny Weasley’s, well now Ginny Potter’s birthday. So, for her birthday, she got the group together.

She invited, Harry, her husband, Fred and George, ron, hermione, bill, you and Charlie.

You always had a crush on Charlie. You never admitted it to him. You were in England and he was in Romania. Charlie always liked you and was jealous whenever you brought guys around.

This time was no different. You tried to move on from your childhood crush, but it never worked. No guy was him. They were never Charlie.

Charlie’s grip tightened on his glass when you walked in with a lanky, blonde boy.

“You know,” his sister, Ginny, started, “It would be better if you just told her and stopped getting mad when she brings guys around.”

Fred snickered, patting Charlie’s shoulder, “You can fight dragons but cant talk to a sweet girl like Y/N? Pathetic, Charles.”

Charlie huffed taking a swig of his drink.

You and your date took a seat at the table, squeezed between him and Charlie. You and Charlie were always friends through Hogwarts and it didn’t take long for you to begin crushing on the handsome boy. Then he told you of his plans after school, there was no way he wanted to settle down.

“Hi, guys.” You smiled at the table, “This is Richard.” The blonde waved, slinging his arm over the back of your chair. Charlie was seething, especially when Richard whispered for only your ears. He got up and left.

“Where does his work?” George offered.

“Ministry. Department of Magical games.” Charlie scoffed and you narrowed your eyes.

“What is wrong with you, Charlie?”

“You can get someone better than that.” You rolled your eyes ignoring him. He always made comments like that.

“Not right now, Charlie. We’re celebrating your sister.”

He took another swig. Your date came with two drinks.

After a couple of drinks you took Hermione and Ginny with you to the dance floor. Crammed bodies and loud music.

“I just don’t get it.” You shouted over the music. “Why does Charlie not want me to be happy.”

The girls both knew why. Though they didn’t speak on it.

Richard came out on the dance floor pulling you close to him, swaying to the music together.

But back at the table, Charlie was watching with angry eyes.

“If you keep staring at her like that, you might just break your drink.” Ron snickered at Fred’s comment. Richards hands were too adventurous grabbing your butt before landing them on your waist swaying together.

“Well, she shouldn’t be with him. He’s not good for her.”

“Who is then?” George egged on with raised eyebrows.

“I.. I don’t know.” Charlie muttered.

“Come on, Charlie.” Harry took a sip of his drink. “She likes you.”

“Obviously not.”

“She does look real comfy with Richard.” Ron added. Fred sent him a ‘not helping’ look.

Richard left you again and Charlie decided he needed bathroom. He opened the door. On the countertop was a girl he’d never seen before and Richard, your date, with his tongue down her throat. Charlie slammed the door closed.

He made his way through the dance floor, finding you with Ginny and Hermione. He latched a hand around your wrist and pulled you out of the club.

Now here you were on a rainy sidewalk. The rain pounded and Charlie was seeing red. “Charlie! What the fuck?“ you shouted.

“I don’t like Richard.” He crossed his arms over his chest.

“I’m sure you don’t! You never like any guy I bring around.” You scoffed, pointing at him.

“For good reasons.” His voice raised matching yours.

“Yeah, because he has an office job? Maybe I want to finally settle down, Charlie. Just because you don’t want to doesn’t meant your best friend can’t!”

“That’s not the point.” You scoffed again. “I want to settle down someday.”

“Well, I don’t want to wait around.”

Charlie sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I don’t like Richard!”

“Why? Why not Charlie?”

“He was kissing another girl in the bathroom.” Your feet faltered.

“He was?” You asked tilting your head. You were never going to fall in love. “Well, how do I know that’s the truth?”

“What the fuck? It is the fucking truth? I’m your best friend why would I fucking lie about that shit?”

“Well, you haven’t been acting like a best friend lately. It’s like you dont want me to be happy!”

“No, I do. Just not with him!”

“If not him, then who?”

“Me. Fucking me!” He said exasperated. “I want you to be happy with me! I want you to settle down with me. I want to settle down with you! I’ve been too scared to tell my feelings since Hogwarts.”

“Stop. Stop playing with me.” You said shaking your head facing your feet.

“Love, I’m not.” His voice soft and hoarse after the yelling. “I’m in love with you.” He walked closer pulling your chin up to face him.

You couldn’t keep back anymore. You wrapped your arms around his neck and placed your lips on his. You sighed when he didn’t kiss you back and pulled away.

Charlie finally came to his senses kissing you this time. Charlie pulled you in by your waist and slipped his tongue in your mouth; only parting for air.

“I love you.” You both whispered at the same time.

“YAY!!” Multiple voices cheered at the same time. It was Fred, George, Ron, Hermione, Harry, And Ginny.

They had been listening the whole time. You blushed hiding your face in Charlie’s chest, who chuckled winking at them.

I'm new-ish to writing (i used to write fanfiction when i was like 13. i'm 18 now soo..) but I really wanna do it again.

So this is a list of characters/fandoms I write for as well as some rules for asks. Some things may be missing from this list so if you dont see something on this list, feel free to ask. :))

I will add a prompt list to this blog soon but again feel free to request other scenarious. Do add as much detail as you want to a request and please ALWAYS have at least some sort of prompt, as i'm really not good with coming up with storys on my own yet.

requests are open!

it's that time of year!! so excited to announce that requests will be often for as long as possible before my queue fills up. requests will close when i have a request in my queue scheduled to be posted every three days for two months in advance. queued requests can be seen in this post below the 'read more' line so you can tell how much time is left before they close.

things to keep in mind:

please follow my rules. there are very few of them

due to past request volume, i will turn down a lot of requests if they don't follow the rules/don't provide enough detail/are too similar to past fics. more details here

i take requests for all fandoms on my masterlist, but i would love it the most if i got requests for dead poets society, f1, harry potter (esp during the war i want to write angst), the hunger games, the magnificent seven, percy jackson, star trek, star wars, top gun, unwind, or tvd. they're just the ones i'm most motivated about at the moment <3

you can also request fics for a ship instead of a character x reader! i def write for ships, people just haven't requested them that much in the past so i thought i'd remind you all of it :)
