How I would have done Wanda in the MCU (pt.3)
Note the fact that obviously everything that was going to happen to her character arc in phase 4 was not planned when she was seen in winter soldier so I do have the benefit of hindsight and this is by no means, something that should have been done or anything.
I am not a screenwriter and this is not perfect
Okay. So this has been some time coming. In this post, I’m “re-writing” Wandavision and Multiverse of Madness. Most people have critiqued both projects as disappointing and I can’t help but agree.
Wandavision was amazing at first but then the finale came along and the regular MCU vfx battle played out (which was unexpected given how different this show felt from the “regular” MCU)
Multiverse of Madness was inconsistent and full of plot-holes.
So right now, I will try my best to make her character arc flow better throughout the projects and maybe add something here and there
Wandavision
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“ Thanks for the lesson..but I don’t need you to tell me who I am. “
As I said before, I genuinely think this show is fucking brilliant
It’s so weird and disconnected from a regular mcu project.  I love the first 8 episodes to death. But. Episode 9. That. Yeah.
It was a disappointing finale yes. The regular cgi battle, Wanda effectively paying no consequences, the bohner thing?
🥀so here’s what I would have done
First , to not make Agatha the main villain.
Just to tweak ep.8 then, instead of Agatha going through Wanda’s memories and making all her comments, she keeps quiet and lets Wanda grieve. She almost says something of comfort but controls herself. If she fully needs to understand Wanda Maximoff, all she has to do is observe.
As much as I adore Agatha All Along, it does undermine how far Wanda’s own grief has led her.
How far her own grief has influenced her to quite literally enslave a whole town. She has no control over this power.
How I would have done it is that Agatha finds out she is a witch and instead of becoming an antagonist, she is similar to her comic book counterpart. With her helping Wanda understand the extent of her power.
Wanda is at a loss for words, she is genuinely confused beyond everything. Confused but angry. Angry at herself for doing everything, angry that her family can not be real, angry that she is subjected to such a fate.
Agatha tries to calm her down but all in vain. She starts screaming and crying and the entirety of westview goes to shit.
Agatha grabs onto her shoulders and tells her to stop, she’s hurting these people, she has enslaved a town, she needs to stop
Wanda rushes away and goes outside. All the townspeople are on their knees, crying out for help. Crying out for their families. Because they have them. She can’t. She can not escape the truth. Let this be a bad dream, let this be a bad dream.
Then Agatha and Monica rush to her.Monica just needs Wanda to calm down and let these people people go so that Hayward does not issue another attack. Agatha rushes to her because she understands her power and what it can do. What if the hex extends farther, how far? Will it ever stop? Her destiny is set in the book of the damned. How long before she actually accomplishes her destiny. To destroy the world. She needs to calm down. She needs to stop.
Then “MOM! MOM!”
Wanda turns to see her twins. It could be the last time she does. The chokeholds around the townspeople disappear. She wants to run to them.
But why. To protect them? From whom? They easily defeated Hayward and his murder squad. The only danger here is her. She stops.
Vision flies down next to them, after his ‘battle’ with his double.
She looks at Vision. Monica. Billy. Tommy. Agatha. The people of westview. The mayhem she has caused. The torture she has put them to.
She knows what has to be done. But people, emotion, danger leads to chaos.
Her power erupts once again. To destroy everything she created. To free these people. To kill her family. To free these people.  To subject herself to torture for eternity. To free these people.
She knows what she is doing is right. But god, her own selfishness is still clinging on to the one hope she could have had. But perhaps the damned book is right. Her destiny is to destroy the world. Herworld. Over and over again. Till she destroys herself.
The hex comes down. The townspeople are freed. They pause for a minute. Look at her. And then rush to find their families.
Her only wish as she kneels there on the ground is that she can do the same.
A hand touches her shoulder. Monica. She smiles. “I cannot understand the pain you feel right now. But I hope you find even the smallest glimmer of peace in knowing that you’ve freed them and done the right thing”
No response.
Monica leaves to handle the dazed S.W.O.R.D workers.
Agatha kneels next to her. “Listen. I can’t change your fate. But I can help you. I want to help you.”
They had both lost their families. They had both been betrayed. They both were shunned out for being too powerful. Accept the help.
“I don’t need your help, Agatha.”
She knows that she should let her in. She knows more than her. But maybe it’s arrogance? Selfishness?
Wanda gets up. Looks around at the townspeople finally reunited with their loved ones. A frown on her face. Selfishness.
She shakes her frown off. Looks towards Agatha. “I’ll see you later, Agatha”. “Wanda, wait.” Both stay still. “Take this. I know you don’t need my help but you’ll need this. It’s a spell book. It can help you keep your powers in check”. In check. No response comes. She looks at Agatha and grabs the book.
She walks away.  The mayhem is over. She’s back at square 1. Just worse.
And that’s it for the main shit
For the after credit scenes ,
 🥀Dr strange
Just show him waking up from a nightmare. Sensing something is wrong. He looks towards his watch. Then the mirror. He sits up. Then pan over to a book next to him where the runes on the cover glow red.
Cut to black.
🥀Pietro/ Peter
Show him looking over some files. He escaped from the hex. No one thought to give him any mind. Thank goodness. He looks off to the side at a supposed someone. “She isn’t like us. More powerful for sure. Some other dna has influenced this.” He sighs, flipping over to another page. We pan away from him and then when the focus is not on him or the other person, we here a mumble/ whisper “Dad would have been proud,I guess”
Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of madness
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“ It won’t be Wanda who comes for her.. It’ll be the scarlet witch “
Okay so some major problems
🥀 her powers are inconsistent and all her badass moment are just created by a power that she just has in the moment and completely forgets about later
🥀her motivations are weak
🥀even if you watched wandavision, her arc does not flow well into multiverse of madness
P.S I think the movie should have just been called multiverse of madness instead of dr strange in the..
because it is simply not a dr strange film. Both Wanda and Stephen share the spotlight and it is simply unfair to both the characters and the audience to advertise it like a sequel to a solo adventure.
So I have thought a lot on this and this movie is mainly why I took so long to put this out. This movie has a lot of problems and inconsistencies. While I don’t dislike the movie, I can understand the argument as to why some people do.
Okay a slight change. This changes and rewrites do not tie into one cohesive story. Rather they are just suggestions in which they could have taken the character and the plot points. So all of them don’t tie in together but are just ideas that could have been cool.
🥀her powers
Make them set. Telekinesis, reality warping and mind control.
Even with reality warping - give her limitations. Like it’s not under her control or it only happens in times of emotional distress (similar to Chavez)
And then when the dark hold is involved, make their enhancement a direct result of the book. The book is not the reason she turns evil but the reason she has the means to do so.
But then at the end when the dark hold is destroyed by her, her powers are back to where they were before. Maybe even weaker due to her not using them as often because she was so focused on the book of the damned.
🥀her motivations
Here, I would have bought back that idea of selfishness and her frustration that everyone around her is allowed to have a family and love. Even some of the members of the avengers have one - Clint mainly. Someone who she was so close to. Someone who she looked up to. But looking back on it, how much of it was admiration and how much jealousy.
It’s important we make her feel the absence and now that she has felt what it is like to have them, she will wreck everything in her path preventing from getting it back. Her thinking back on that day when she took down the hex to save those people. Should she have done it? Why should they be allowed to be with their families and she can’t. Childish yes but all of this has been building up since she was 10 years old. She was happy before the missile struck. She had a family before the missile struck. Why wouldn’t she retain that mentality (even if it’s small)? She was happy. She can be happy. She will be happy. She can’t suffer like this anymore and if that requires destroying the world along the way, then so be it.
🥀her costume
So you may have noticed in the wandavision finale since we didn’t do the whole cgi battle, she didn’t get her costume.
And I adore the wandavision costume so I do want to see it somewhere.
So let’s trace it back to wandavision, shall we?
After getting the book from Agatha, I’d picture she’d avoid for as long as possible. But she needs answers. She needs to keep her powers in check. She can’t lose control. Not again.
And as she picks up the book and does a spell, Strange is alerted and his own runes book glows red.
Then as she practices more, she gains this suit
🥀her helping Strange
Strange approaches Wanda. He informs her that he needs her help to keep a multiversal traveller safe. The traveller isn’t capable of managing their power and the sorcerer supreme was informed of their existence due to this exact reason. Them not being able to control their power makes them an easy target for multiversal threats. So they need her help to keep them safe and track down the dark hold which the traveller requires to understand the multiverse and by extension their power.
(Note I understand this is also a flawed narrative and excuse to ask for her help but just something like this can work)
The concepts of the multiversal traveller and the dark hold make Wanda intrigued. Maybe if she gets a hold of them then she can finally have some way to find her family again. Her happiness.
So she agrees to help them out.
🥀America Chavez
The amount of missed opportunities with this character my god-
 But okay. Wanda
One thing I would want to make clear is that Wanda does not know the person she is trying to kill and gain the power of is a literal child. She, someone who was harmed and experimented on as a child, is also on the search for her family, and her CHILDREN, would not want to willingly cause harm to her.
Maybe for the first few scenes, she doesn’t meet her. Just fights whatever battle in whatever universe to keep her safe, or more importantly, her powers. Then when she does meet her, they talk for a bit. Maybe the conversation can lead somewhere to how they both lost their families, how they are both unable to control their powers, how they feel like a threat. Just when Wanda is starting to feel something for the kid, the realisation sets in. She has to kill her.
The actual copy of the dark hold is no where to be found  so Wong takes them to Mt. Wundagore to finally set things straight. And when they reach, they see the statue, the throne, the beasts. All beckoning for her to just give in. Kill her. Take her power. Be happy.
As her whirlwind of emotions occurs, Chavez can just drop in a line like “bro, you are so cool” which causes a chuckle but nothing more.
The ending can go one of two ways,
A previous threat (or all previous threats teaming up)  that they thought was dead tracked them here and issues and attack upon them to try and get Chavez. Wanda initially helps them or doesn’t do much to help the heroes. But then as soon as they have Chavez, something acts up. The need for the powers to herself? No. No no. How she wishes it was though.
An attack, an order to the beasts, something that makes the monster let go of America. She saved her.
(And then like everyone kicks ass together woohoo)
gah
don’t know if I’m necessarily satisfied with m.o.m but eh. I hope you enjoyed.

MOON KNIGHT
Holy crap it's my favorite Marvel show to date.
Like dont get me wrong, I adore Wandavision and Loki is my man but F***ing Moon Knight is amazing.
The amount of effort they took into giving DID a proper representation. Minus Jake's character who seems to be extremely violent.
F*** the Scarlet Scarab, the Egyptian Superhero. Heck, Layla isn't going to just stop being an Avatar after an Egyptian woman/girl (couldn't exactly tell how old she was) was so in awe over the fact that a literal female superhero rescued her and her family. Besides, her outfit, hot as Hell.
Tumblr media
Anyways, I could talk about her outfit and Layla all day. But I have to give some time to talk about Oscar Isaacs playing not one, but three different characters and rocking each one of them.
Steven, my adorable little Cinnamon roll, I just love him to pieces and I am so glad they didnt write him off.
Tumblr media
Marc, oh sweet Marc, he was used, abused and neglected and he still found someone who cared for him.
Tumblr media
And now... Jake. Oh Jake. I swear to God, I need a season 2 ASAP. I know Oscar didnt sign a contract but he has said he is open to playing Marc/Steven/Jake/(the child??) Again.
Tumblr media
But Jake just chilling in the background while Steven and Marc go through the feels is probably the most Jake thing he could do. He definitely is the type to swoop in and protect the body from any perceived threat, mostly physical. Take that scene in episode 5, the very sudden shift in personality, energy, tone. The way he picked up a weapon, to either use on himself or others. The way he tried to get them (Steven, Marc and Jake) out of the room where they would have to cope with their past and come together. The way he was completely unaffected by the field of reeds and the sand. The way he only hosted when Marc or Steven were outnumbered and being beaten. His violent tendencies where he just murders first. Ask questions never. This particular alter clearly only ever came out when the abuse (physical, mental, emotional) was too much for either one of them to handle. Jake definitely is more unhinged but I feel like you would be too if you shoved it all on him whenever it was too much.
Whoever thought Jake wouldn't appear.
Tumblr media
God I need a season 2. I need more. I need them (Moon Knight and Scarlet Scarab) in the movies.
By the way, in the comics, Layla's father was Taweret's Avatar, which they alluded to this finale. "Your father would be so proud". There's definitely more to that.
Tumblr media
I also really loved this phrase.
Tumblr media
Til next time everybody.

Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness… Thoughts
Arranged loosely by topic.
Full spoilers below the cut
The Illuminati
REED.
RICHARDS.
FINALLY!!!!
FANTASTIC FOUR!!! Kermit flail Had I been alone I would’ve shrieked out loud. As it was, I settled for an internal AHHHHHH!!! (And everybody’s fan-cast dreams came true! Loved it.)
Blackbolt’s presence meaning that the Inhumans show is still acknowledged as a thing… Ehhh… Do we have to?
Captain Carter. That’s our girl! (Giving her the ‘I can do this all day’ line… chef’s kiss) Love that she got to wield the shield in live action. (Before, you know, being BRUTALLY MURDERED along with the rest of them…)
Nice to see Maria as Captain Marvel. She had more personality than Carol anyway, though unfortunately we don’t get any of that here.
Professor X! Gotta love it. Nice touch with the animated series theme music. Except his presence makes all the council’s arrogant dilly-dallying and ignoring Stephen because ‘we don’t know if we can trust you!’ supremely pointless. He could have literally just read his mind while Stephen was unconscious in the containment cell and given the okay and they would have been on their way before Wanda ever got around to possessing herself. And speaking of…
Wanda…
Poor Wanda. They did her dirty in this one. When they said she was going to be the villain here, I was thinking that she was going to be more like a fake/secondary villain, and that Stephen would save her from the Darkhold’s influence and they would team up to defeat the actual evil pulling the strings… Not this. She did not deserve that fate. I know it’s the Evil Book of Evil talking, that she’s being influenced and possessed by dark forces, but… I thought the whole point of WandaVision was her collective trauma finally catching up to her, making her act out of grief and pain, and yes act wrongly, but in the end she’s still a good person, she’s an Avenger, and she does the right thing. It seems like this movie just ignores all of the catharsis in that last episode, sacrifices all her growth just because she (admittedly) makes a really good, scary villain.( And interesting that the movie introduces the double standard of ‘you break the rules and get to be a hero, I do it and I’m a villain’ and then proceeds to double down on that by making her just that. Felt weird.)
Also, the total absence of Vision (save a couple of mentions) was odd. Is she a single mom in all of these other abundant realities? (And is 616 really the only one where she doesn’t have kids? That seems odd too, an all too ‘kick the dog’ twist of probability.) Maybe it was simpler just to focus on the kids, but I feel like he should have been there in some capacity (though he likely would have been able to reach her/talk her down when no one else could and then the movie would have been way shorter, so that may be another reason why).
(And the big question: if she has the kids in apparently every other reality (presumably through magic), why can't she just magic them up again here, independent of any larger town-enslaving Hex? Why does she need to steal them from another universe?)
Others have pointed out that the ‘no body, no death’ rule is in play here, so some of my initial feelings of the MCU callously villainizing and then disposing of Wanda (again, an AVENGER) may not actually be based in truth. And I hope so, because doing that made no sense at all. Especially when white Vision is still out there somewhere. Why have him be around and then kill off Wanda? Nope.
But good on ya, girl, for destroying all the Darkholds everywhere. That was nice work, very thorough, much appreciated.
(The poor 838 Wanda though. She’s gonna need 10,000 years of therapy, and what kind of other consequences is she going to face?)
The Book of MacGuffin Vishanti
I get the quest for this book was just a macguffin, but boy was that a let down. If the Darkhold is the Evil Book of Evil and the Book of Vishanti is supposed to be the opposite, the embodiment of good, then it should be more powerful than the Darkhold (my preference), or, if you’re coming at it from a perspective of good and evil in pure balance as cosmic forces, then it should at least be AS powerful, and the Darkhold shouldn’t be able to destroy it. Maybe Wanda’s power was giving the Darkhold a boost, but still… For the story to still proceed the same way, they could have just had the Book of shanti not work for them because if it gives you what you need, then that’s already set up for it to do nothing b/c they already have what they need to solve the problem: America is right there.
Overall tone/content
I don’t care for horror movies. Like, at all. This did not change that opinion. In all fairness, they were upfront in all the marketing/interviews that this was supposed to be the MCU’s first horror movie and it definitely is. You can tell that they would have made it R rated if box-office/branding would have allowed. While it’s still a Marvel movie w/ action and jokes and moments of fun, it’s super super dark. Way too many demons and spirits and too much dark magic (esp. when used by the good guys as a valid solution to problems) for my taste. (Again, in fairness, they did set up that Stephen’s actions in using the Darkhold will have consequences, but so far all of the Dr. Strange movies have promised “the bill coming due” and then never really delivering.) And like, y’all, I need a new fun, bright and shiny Fantastic Four movie stat just to scrub my brain after seeing all of the Illuminati get killed like that. That was rough. (Blackbolt was particularly horrific.)
The use of the dead Strange as a puppet was well-crafted from a set-up and pay-off story perspective, though, b/c I’d forgotten about him so that was a nicely logical twist.
Place in the MCU
It felt oddly, surprisingly, disconnected from the other films. Was expecting the events of this movie to be the direct fallout from the events of No Way Home, that this would be the culmination of all of Stephen’s actions and failures and arrogance from his first movie on. They touch on that (“you had to be the one holding the knife”/“the biggest threat to the multiverse is Dr. Strange”), but it’s a mild (and unfinished) character arc and not the driver of the plot; instead everything here is set into motion externally by Wanda’s actions completely unrelated to anything in Spider-man. Maybe they’re saving that for the sequel, as Clea seems to promise yet another round of ‘time to face the consequences of your actions’; we’ll see if they actually do it this time. And surprisingly nothing to tie into all the concepts and events from Loki (they still need to clarify if timelines/variants and alternate universes/doubles are the same thing or two separate ideas).
Funny how we got two back-to-back films where Stephen gets to mentor a troubled teen, haha (not that he did that much mentoring towards Peter, but still).
Christine
Glad she got more to do and more of an active role in this one; nice callback with her knowing how to use the cauldron thing that he was clueless about in the first movie. I liked the way they handled his relationship with Christine (all of them). They were able to put that relationship/storyline to bed pretty well. Nicely used symbolism with the watch. And him replacing the broken face at last was so so satisfying.
Other stuff
Wong remains the best. Loved the bow at the end. Man deserves all the respect. And so does that lady that stabbed the Darkhold and sacrificed herself. Can we give her a statue? She really deserves it.

Don’t mind me, I’m just having a MOOD about Wanda Maximoff...
(Possibly) unpopular opinion: Wanda Maximoff is fundamentally a selfish person. Wanda is a bad person that only believes she’s a good person.
I’m going to work my way backwards on all the truly ridiculously shit she’s done that the writers have handwaved.
WandaVision - I think most people can agree she was not the hero of this story. She mind controlled dozens, if not hundreds of people for over a week and kept them enslaved for her own happiness. Initially, it was accidental. Fine, but by episode 4, she has realized (at least on some level) that this is fake. But by episode 6-7 she more or less knows exactly what she’s done and continues on anyway, even if she doesn’t know the extent of the pain she’s putting these people in.
The second half of that last sentence is actually irrelevant. It doesn’t matter if these people are not in pain. You don’t get to intentionally steal all of someone’s documents, keep them locked in your home for months and pretend you haven’t committed a crime just because you’re not also beating them on the regular.
Wanda didn’t stop in the end because she is a good person. She would have stopped much, much earlier if she were. She stopped because the way that the people were treating her completely removed her ability to pretend she wasn’t a bad person doing bad things all this time.
Let’s briefly go back to Captain America Civil War.
I’m not blaming her for the beginning of the movie (side note: that was Steve’s fault. Wanda clearly has only been vaguely trained on her powers and shouldn’t have been on the field at all). We’re actually starting from the middle of the movie. Where she “breaks” out of the compound. That she’s treating like a prison, when she had, at most, been grounded. Even calling it a grounding is debatable, considering she hadn’t even known about it for the several days between the bombing and when Clint came by. She was basically being advised to keep a low profile while things calmed down (probably due to VISA issues).
BUT the moment she decides she wants to leave and is told, “Maybe, don’t,” she sends VISION, who she supposedly loves through god knows how many floors of a building that was meant to handle super soldiers training in it. Did she know he would be okay after that? That he would survive it? She didn’t check. And then, during the airport battle, she chides Clint for holding back in his fight with Natasha. Like, she’d forgotten that some of these people were her friends (or at least friends of her friends). But for Wanda, once you’re no longer on her side, your life means pretty little.
Finally we move right on back to Age of Ultron. Let’s leave out any theories on whether it was even reasonable for her to blame Tony for the deaths of her parents (was it Stane? Were those even real SI bombs?), grief isn’t rational. So fair enough. She blames Tony for her parent’s death and wants revenge. And decides to join Hydra for the chance to get powers for this revenge. Wanda was 26 in AOU in 2015, and even assuming that she got her powers the minute Hydra/SHIELD got the scepter in 2012, she still would have been 23. An adult, not a kid. Combine that with her powers literally allowing her to read minds, there is no way that she didn’t know she was working with Hydra. After which she went on to work for Ultron.
Now, here’s the rub. There is no possible explanation for working with actual neo-nazi’s in the 21st century and a mad AI intent on destruction (because he was totally planning on retiring to be a nurse after destroying the world’s heroes, right?) and still believing that you’re on the right side. Never mind the fact that the rest of the Avengers literally had nothing to her beef with Tony. Never mind that she let Tony go in that state of panic, hoping he’d do something destructive (and joining up with said destructive AI) or setting off the goddamn HULK.
All of that was totally done with the belief that no one would be harmed. Of course.
Of course not.
Wanda and her brother didn’t defect from Ultron because he wanted to kill a lot of people. They left because they and their country would die too. If it had just been America he was planning to destroy, they likely would have left him alone. She left Ultron because it benefited her to do so. She joined the Avengers because it benefitted her to do so. After all, what else was she going to do? Go on the run, living in poverty for the rest of her life? Remain in Sokovia and possibly be brought up on charges for her part in helping Ultron, Hydra and the disaster in Johannesburg? No.
Over and over again, innocent people get hurt or killed because of her. But these movies/shows treat her as if she is someone to sympathize with. Like it’s reasonable to intentionally cause the death and torture of people over and over… because she’s sad.
In all fairness, I can acknowledge that AOU soured me on her hard since they never actually showed feeling any sort of real remorse while she was doing all of that really evil shit.

Life Could Be a Dream - Chapter 2
Live in Living Colour Series Masterlist
Masterlist
Summary: (Y/N) slowly begins to remember their life with “Pietro” before WestView as they move through the decades, but sometimes knowledge is a curse rather than a blessing.
Pairing: Pietro (Peter) Maximoff x Reader
Word Count: 1.3k
Warning: WandaVision Episode 6 spoilers! Read at your own risk!
Author’s Note: Here’s the highly requested second part to Be Okay! You don’t have to read it to understand this story, but it does fill in the gap during the 80s episode and give a little more context into the reader’s mind. Also, the reader’s powers and Halloween costume are highly based off of Starlight from the boys even though I did my best to make it gender neutral, but that’s what I kinda envisioned!
Tumblr media
(Not My Gif!)
Your hips swayed as you danced around the kitchen, the sound of The Chords’ “Life Could Be a Dream” filled the room from the record player in the corner your beloved vinyl was spinning on. Chopping pineapple for the jell-o in the bundt mold beside you, you hummed along to the familiar tune as your feet shuffled back and forth on the checkered floor.
A whooshing sound and light breeze behind you tore your attention away from the task at hand. Turning around quickly, you were met with the smiling face of your loving boyfriend, relaxing in a chair with his feet propped up against the kitchen table. His dark jeans were complimented by a letterman jacket adorning his shoulders, his shades of grey complimenting your own and those surrounding the both of you.
“My partner and their impeccable taste in music.” He smirked, arms crossed behind his head.
“My boyfriend and his faster-than-a-bullet superspeed.” You retorted, shuffling over to your man and giving him a playful smack on the leg. “Feet off the table! We’ve gotta eat here in a few hours!”
Pietro whooshed once again, this time with one hand in your waist while the other held yours, finally slowing down enough to gently rock you to the music. Life really could be a dream, and you were experiencing it first-hand.
“What is happening? Where did this come from?!” Agent Woo asked, watching the dancing couple sway as a hexagon framed the image and the words ‘Pietro(Y/N)’ shone across the screen.
“I don’t know! When Wanda recast Pietro an extra broadcast started from inside the hex and this is what the channel’s playing.” Darcy explained, taking a sip of her long awaited coffee as the end credits began to roll. “She must have somehow created another storyline for them.”
“But, wait… Didn’t somebody say that (Y/L/N) went missing before the blip?” Monica commented, pointing at your smiling face on the screen.
“Last I heard was that they got beamed up on that spaceship in New York with Spider-Man and Doctor Strange, but nobody’s seen them since.” Jimmy added, crossing his arms with a furrowed brow.
“Well wherever they were, they’re back in action.”
You woke up with a gasp, shooting straight up as a cold sweat adorned your body. Your nightmare had been something that you couldn’t believe your mind had imagined, it was so real, so dark…
You had been on a strange planet surrounded by shades or orange and red, weirdly dressed people fighting all around you. At the centre of it all was this purple giant, a metallic glove adorning his hand as he fought the group of you away.
Before you knew what you were doing you were rushing towards him, hand raised as a tingling feeling ran down your arm while golden light formed around your hand. But your attack was to no avail as with a clench of his fist the giant had opened a red hole in front of you and you began free falling.
“What? What is it?” Pietro grumbled, slowly waking up at your sudden outburst. He sat up as well, rubbing his hand on your lower back soothingly.
“It was just a dream, babe.” You brushed it off, turning to face Pietro and leaning closer towards him. His eyes still held worry and a bit of disbelief as you played it off, but rather than argue, he just held you close as the two of you laid back down until sleep took it’s hold once more.
“How much longer ‘till he calls?” Darcy whined, spinning in her chair as the boredom of watching reruns overtook her. You and Peter had just finished your ‘80s episode, meaning that the two of you had just reunited with Wanda and Vision.
“Don’t worry, he’ll call.” Monica replied, and as if on cue the name ‘Jimmy Woo’ was flashing upon her phone screen. She was quick to answer and eagerly pressed the device to her ear. “Woo? What’d your guy say?”
“Scott said that (Y/N) hasn’t been seen since they were on a planet called Titan fighting Thanos. Stark apparently told him that they got tossed in some hole he opened and they couldn’t get them back.” Jimmy explained, the sound of a car moving filling the background as he was already on his way back from talking to Lang.
“You don’t think that he sent her to wherever this new Pietro came from, do you?” Monica responded, Darcy shrugging her shoulders in response.
“I mean, it’s well within the realm of possibilities?”
“What are you boys doing?” You called from the bottom of the stairs to where Pietro and the twins were playing some video game on the tv, laughing and shouting as they shot at each other. “Piet, why aren’t you in your costume?”
Your boyfriend finally turned to face you and your Halloween costume had his jaw quite literally dropping. You adorned a white costume with a golden star and accents on the front, meanwhile your cape was white with countless smaller stars decorating it’s entirety.
“Wow! Babe, you look… Wow!” He ogled, speeding over to you as his eyes took in your costumed appearance. He ignored your question, Wanda having to bug her brother once more for him to drag Tommy with him to make their matching Quicksilver costumes, their hair slicked up on the sides in an odd way.
Before you knew it the five of you were making your way down the street bustling with costumed kids. Pietro and Wanda were a couple steps ahead of you with the twins, you making the decision to take a minute to appreciate your domestic life while the siblings caught up.
“Unleash hell, demon spawn!” Pietro yelled as the twins went running off to fill their buckets with candy. You weren’t trying to eavesdrop, however you weren’t very far behind them and neither twin was making any effort to speak quietly.
“Do you remember when we were at the orphanage when mom and dad died?” She asked, the duo stopping to talk to each other in the middle of the busy road. While you didn’t intend to stop yourself, the sudden confusion that struck your mind left you no other choice.
Orphanage? Why would Peter have ever been in an orphanage when both his parents were still alive?  Wait, Peter? Where was all this coming from?
Suddenly your life was quite literally flashing before your eyes. Getting your powers, joining the Avengers, falling through the portal to another reality, meeting the X-Men… Oh, and Peter. Your relationship with Peter came back in moments, from your first meeting to the day he kissed you after you almost died on a mission. And how could you ever have forgotten your wedding day?!
“Peter?” You asked out loud. Whether you were calling out to the man who you now remember to be your husband or questioning the memories that you had just regained you weren’t sure.
Your sudden comment caused Peter/Pietro to scoff in disbelief and furrow his brows, meanwhile Wanda’s expression darkened as her eyes glared daggers into your head.
“Did you just call me Peter?” He asked incredulously, but his face quickly softened as he saw the fear in your eyes. You were utterly dumbfounded, How did you get back here? Last thing you remembered was being at the school, then all of a sudden you were living in some sit-com town.
“Why doesn’t he remember me? Wanda, what have you done?” Your voice wavered, your gaze shifting from Peter to Wanda, who would have already murdered you if looks could kill.
“I have no idea what you're talking about.” Her eyes flashed red, meanwhile Peter was standing there as if everything around him was completely normal.
“I think you do. Don’t make me do this, Wanda.” Your eyes began glowing as well. There was no way this would be ending well.

Aight Peter Maximoff stans, I want to point out some plot holes and unanswered questions about "Ralph Bohner"
WandaVision Spoilers:
(I am in currently listening to Sweet Dreams/80s music while writing this very drunk, determined and in immense denial. 😁🤘)
(Pls read, my drunk smol brain worked hard on dis 😘👉👈)
Ralphs name. Why doesn't Ralph Bohner have a hex name and a real name? Unless "Pietro" was essentially his hex name. But I truly believe that Wanda unintentionally or otherwise wouldn't name some random civilian "Pietro", right? Like how Sarah was named Dottie at random, wouldn't that be the case for Ralph also? From what was shown it made it out to seem he's called Ralph Bohner in and out of the hex.
From episode 1-5 Agatha spoke about Ralph like he was her husband for some reason. Why did he only appear in episode 5 if she had Ralph under her control to use to her benefit from the very beginning? It's just odd.
Agatha's abilities. Agataha had shown Wanda that can perform illusions(like how she turned a bug into a bird). So... why didn't she make Ralph look like Wandas brother if she can make illusions? Especially after going through the trouble of picking a guy that acts nothing like Wandas brother and giving him powers? Agathas power scale confuses me so much.
Why did Wanda recognize Ralph Bohner when he showed up at her door? The explanation "Cause magic" would feel so cheap. I seriously don't understand this. Wanda despite her fragile mindset would be like, "Who are you? You don't look like my brother. You don't act like him. He's dead(Wanda definitely knows that internally.) The only thing you both have in common is the superpowers. Y'all move fast." Now if it was Peter Maximoff from another universe I'd assume that Wanda can sense he's her sort-of brother but not really. Almost like somethings a little off....at least that's what I thought, but nope. He's a random person apparently, so there isn't that instinctual connection. So then why the recognition at all?
The alarm. In episode 5 right when Ralph appears at Wandas door some random ass alarm goes off at Swords base outside the hex. Why?? Peter Maximoff fans and myself thought that was him possibly entering the hex somehow. But apparently not...so what was that exactly?? Of course that was never explained.
Ralphs superspeed. So, y'all telling me that Agatha had not only forcibly put a necklace on Ralph to control him to be her "eyes and ears" BUT ALSO gave him LITERAL superpowers?? All of that is completely glossed over. Mf at Marvel will probably say, "Cause Magic" smh.
Jimmys missing guy. There's unfortunately a lot to debunk this theory, but I could still see it being a possibility. Jimmy along with Monica and Darcy all saw the TV when Ralph was on it, but Jimmy never said a word. An interesting point though is the fact that this witness protection person was never brought up again, which is really fucking weird. More shit left unanswered. Could it be "Ralph"? We don't know.
The house. Ralph Bohner is supposedly a struggling actor. At least that's the explanation many have said is the reason as to why he has a random headshot of himself laying about his man cave. But then how does he live in that big ass family home? Plus that house ain't actually Agathas, she came into WestView looking for Wanda to find answers about the hex. That wasn't originally her house. With Ralph looking like the broke ass himbo he is...how could he afford to live there if he supposedly lived as a civilian in that town to begin with??? Make this make sense lol.
Ralph chuckled at his name. Aight aight I know this is a stretch, but hear me out; If you had a dumbass name that sounded weird, you'd probably be used to people making fun of it or saying it wrong, right? You'd maybe even get tired of hearing the silly name your entire life. But when Monica said Ralphs name, he chuckled like one would at their silly fake name and not their real name. That's at least how my dumbass would react to someone saying a funny name I choose for myself. And honestly "Ralph Bohner" truly sounds like a name that Peter would choose lol. Unless WandaVisions writing team said, "Evan, we want you to laugh at your name like you've never heard anyone pronounce Bohner like Boner before." Or maybe Ralph didn't know his own name because he was under Agathas control still...or something.
Why "Ralph Bohner"? K so lets just say we all accept that they stunt casted Evan Peters and he is and always will be a nobody named Ralph Bohner. Marvel knew- no, knows that fans of Evan Peters Quicksilver and the X-Men would get hyped up bout him when they made that glorious reveal in episode 5. So they really dragged that expectation out for 3 weeks, to leave it off on a dick joke? Nah, Marvel/Disney can't be that stupid right?....right?
They gave us some hope and hefty amount of evidence(that isn't listed all here) that Ralph could be Peter Maximoff because of some Multiverse shenanigans....
But then they left it like...this?
Tis very strange of Marvel to think people wouldn't notice how they kinda, sorta baited fans if left like this.
I literally had no crazy theories for this entire show, everything Marvel I take with stride with almost zero expectations...then my boy Evan Peters showed up and my ass finally had some hope to see my comfort character make an appearance in the MCU...which ironically ended in a dick joke. The universe said, "Nah fam, you can't hope for shit lol 🤡"
Anyways, I'd like if this could give some evidence to those still willing to believe that Ralph Bohner is Peter Maximoff. With so many unanswered questions and plot holes with his character, it just feels wrong for him to be nobody...y'know?
Also I'm sorry if this gives you false hope lol.
Love y'all, Peter Maximoff stans are sweet as heck. 💕

I think after watching this week’s episode of Wandavision for the fourth time, I finally understand all the emotions going on in scenes that happen after Wanda opens the last door.
First, she is just physically upset, she drove to SWORD after opening up the deed that her dead soulmate gave to her from beyond the grave. So she marches in. Then when she’s talking to the guy at the desk she sinks into the fact that when she woke up, she was no longer holding him. So Wanda wants his body even though I don’t think she has processed that she is going to see a body.
Tumblr media
Because when she walks down the hallway still with the bravado she walked in with and she asks Hayward for the body and he shows Vision dismembered, she can’t process what she’s looking at. She hasn’t processed it being Vision’s body, and especially not that they are dismembering the valuable body she saw Ultron get the parts for and build.
Tumblr media
So she turns to ask Hayward what he is doing, how he can just pull apart something that was once someone that gave her strength and love. Then when he answers her by calling Vision, “the most sophisticated, sentcient weapon”, basically a gun with a brain that they want to pull apart for its shiny, valuable pieces, he bursts another bubble for her. She is knocked down lower than ever, “you can’t do this.” Pleading by giving Hayward a desperate reason for him to give her Vision, “I just want to bury him.” Hayward, I think can tell he is breaking her down and picks his next few phrases very specifically. He isn’t blunt and rude at first he is questioning her, riling her up to make her feel worse.
Tumblr media
He questions a woman, who is notably distraught, about her intentions and “accidentally slips up” in such a fake way, to show Wanda that no one cares about Vision as he is just a machine, and that nobody cares about her feelings for the “three billion dollars in vibranium.” He gives her fake diplomacy but as she expresses her loss and her need to have whatever is left of him, Hayward tells her straight up, “He isn’t yours.” All of this snowballed her into breaking the glass, she wanted to be the villain for a sec she wanted to be the woman who didn’t have to lose again and so she feels vindicated coming down into the lab, to step near his body.
Tumblr media
As she steps towards him, she sees the man who saved her in Sokovia, who watched sitcoms in comfort with her, the man who printed out the recipe, who she snuck around the world with, the man she had in her bed. She saw him just in pieces and could probably still remember the burst of energy the mindstone gave off when she destroyed it and was just he was dead. So when she puts her hand over his head says “I can’t feel you,” for the first time” all she was, was unbelievably sad and heartbroken. Another loved one, maybe the most important one yet, is lost to her.
Tumblr media
But the second time she says it, it isn’t for dramatic effect, you can hear it in her voice and see it on her face. It’s a whisper of depression and a tiny bit of peace. He isn’t just dead. This man, not a machine, is gone. He is not suffering as they pull him apart, he doesn’t feel weighed down by the stone. He was the man she loved and had to kill and then watch be murdered a second time and he was simply gone. So that’s why she could simply walk out of SWORD. She would have just kept crying right there but no she pulled herself away because it was never the “three billion dollars vibranium” for her, it was everything else.
Tumblr media
So she walked out and to her car. Wanda walked away from what was gone and drove to what she actually had left of him. See, Vision never gave her a ring or some little trinket, he wanted to give her his word, but they never had the chance. As she said in Infinity War, “We wanted more time.” But what that means is without him, she really has no item she can burn, keep in her pocket, or hold close to her chest.
Tumblr media
We find out though that he gave her a plot of land, in a place that needed some TLC just like her when they met. So she goes to that. That is where she goes and she looks at the deed with his last note to her on it, “To grow old in.” He was never going to grow old, and maybe if she is like Agnes she can’t either, but I don’t think he meant old as a couple. I think he meant for her to grow old in. Either with him there to take care of her as she grows grey and frail or maybe he means for her to grow old in without him just so he knows she has a place after his sacrifice.
Tumblr media
She walks through the entrance that she wishes he could have carried her through when they got married or the one he could come home to greet her like her parents once did. That’s where she breaks down. Wanda wanted a future with him and that future, her love for sitcoms, her desire for a picturesque life, and Vision all just come pouring out of her. Literally.
Tumblr media
She cannot take the pain so she lets everything pour out because her love preserved even after his death but she never even got the chance to tell him those three simple words when he was alive.

For the first time ever, I’m actually avoiding the tumblr fandom for the thing I love. For the first time ever, I feel ostracised by my people. I am a bisexual woman, in a relationship with a bisexual man. I have had to fight so fucking hard to stop people from attacking me and abusing me because I’m in a long term committed relationship with a man. I get told that I need to “pick a side”. People accuse me of lying about my bisexuality for “clout”. My relationship with my partner is loving, and valid, and while we are in a heterosexual relationship, we’re both still bisexual. Being in a relationship with a man doesn’t stop me from being attracted to women. I’m still LGBTQ.
My partner and I are both long time marvel super fans. He’s more in to the comics, and stays out of the fandom, while I love the movies and spend hours at a time on tumblr, Ao3 and Twitter. I’ve been in the fandom for years, and I’ve always been a massive shipper, mostly stucky and SamBucky. My partner and I have been watching all the new Disney plus series together, and we’ve absolutely loved them. WandaVision had us constantly on the edge of our seats, and TFATWS had us screaming at the TV to “fucking kiss already”. And now, Loki is the one airing. When Loki and Sylvie both said that they’re attracted to men and women, we were over the moon. Because we looked at the TV and saw us. We were represented. And at the end of that episode, when they’re sitting by the lake, I could feel Loki and Sylvie’s connection. And I could see it, when I looked at my partner on the couch beside me. I loved the idea of them potentially falling for each other, and immediately ran to tumblr after the episode finished.
And everyone on here was screaming from the rooftops that it’s homophobic for a bisexual man to fall for a woman. That it’s homophobic for my partner to love me, and for me to love him. How dare a bisexual man actively be bisexual, and not just gay. I cried myself to sleep that night. I came out in high school, and while my friends were supportive, not everyone else was. I went through a lot of shit, and a lot of people invalidating me, saying I was a lesbian, or that I was a straight faker. And all of you were on here, screaming that in my face. I have seen so many people say “what was the point of making Loki bisexual if he’s gonna kiss a woman?” He’s bisexual, that’s the point. And while we’re here, he’s also genderfluid so is he even kissing someone of the same gender? There’s an argument to be made that y’all are being horrible as fuck to non binary people, but I’m cis so it’s not my argument to make.
If you want to ship Möbius and Loki, go ahead, I’m not going to stop you. While I personally only saw platonic love there, seeing something more, and talking about it online is harmless. Write all the fanfiction, make all the art you want (I’ve seen some fucking gorgeous Lokius art, y’all are talented as fuck). When it becomes a problem, is when you become so disillusioned and distanced from your reality in your fetishisation of gay men, that you are actively biphobic while claiming to be “woke”. I’ve been sitting on this rant for a few weeks now, and I’ve finally decided to post it after jumping in the Loki tag tonight and seeing hundreds of people saying that it’s homophobic for a bisexual man to be bisexual. Literally fuck y’all. Walk outside and touch some fucking grass.

it's literally WandaVision all over again. everytime someone off the staff did open their mouth after the final episode it got worse :D
it also seems to be tradition with MCU-projects that the staff contradicts themself all the time. they say different things about the Loki/Sylvie situation, they said different things about "Ralph", and even during Endgame we got different claims about where did Steve go from the directors & writer..
no wonder there are always fandomwars when the people in charge can even aggree about what's going on in their own freaking movies/shows
see that’s the whole thing. while fandom will be fandom one of the reasons it’s such a mess is because there no collaboration or respect for continuity, even on isolated projects like loki, let alone from film to film! there is NO respect for character development, and it’s so destructive to the cohesiveness and the narrative itself. take away Thor’s eye and hammer, the next movie he gets a fake eye and an axe. say steve has a family in the present and has moved on from peggy, send him straight back to the past. the director says sylvie loki is platonic the writer says it’s romantic the music coordinator says loki viewers sylvie with the same affection as her mother. like! none of these are one and done situations, the problems are literally from project to project……..

haunted by the look in my eyes that would’ve loved you for a lifetime
leave it all behind
& there is happiness
Loneliness had always been something that plagued him. That and a plethora of other negative emotions.
There wasn’t a day that went by where Peter Maximoff wasn’t made to feel like a loser. Admittedly, he’d never held himself to a high standard, he grew up thinking that he’d never fit in anywhere and eventually that thought mutated into a lifestyle as he began isolating himself from the world around him, either far too good or heartbreakingly not enough to be a part of that crowd.
He liked spending time with himself. Nobody else knew him the way he knew him, and still, he found nothing but an overwhelming hollow space where his deepest most important hopes, aspirations, dreams and self discoveries should have resided.
Peter had always put this feeling of exile down to the fact that he was a mutant, it was the most likely explanation, right?
It was only when he’d decided to join the X-Men that he finally came to the conclusion that maybe the rest of the world wasn’t the problem, nor was his mutation the problem, but that he himself was the problem. For even in a school full of people exactly like him he was still the same loser that he was in his mother’s basement.
And he was under no illusions that that was exactly what his teammates saw in him; nothing. No potential. Just a space holder to bring the numbers up.
Super speed was incredible. That’s how Peter acknowledged jobs well done, he praised his speed but never himself. He just saved Charles and Erik from a room full of armed guards? No that wasn’t him, that was simply his speed. He saved an entire mansion full of people from a potentially fatal explosion? Nothing special, Kurt probably could’ve done the same.
Forget all of the good deeds and saved lives because the bottom line of it all, to him at least, was that all he was good for was cheeky one liners and hopeless kleptomania.
His life took a turn for the worse when he found himself being mind controlled in an alternate universe. And even then, he was playing the part of someone that wasn’t him, the thought humbled him, reconnected him to his roots and reintroduced him to his life long philosophy that he’d never be anything more than a social pariah. Not even an alternate reality could accept him for who he was. There wasn’t a warm welcome and despite not knowing what was going on, the definition of “imposter” or the weirder, “recast”, still shot to kill.
He settled on the notion that he was an inter dimensional waste of space. At least in WestView he could be blissfully ignorant, let the real him be drowned mercilessly in favour of being an integral part of someone’s life- to feel important, even if it wasn’t real.
When WestView fell apart he was completely lost. In every sense of the word. In a new world with no way home and as it turned out, nobody was looking for him. Although he didn’t expect anyone to care, it still stung that nobody did. He always hoped that one day Erik would step up as a father figure for him, this; getting kidnapped and smuggled into a different dimension, seemed like the perfect moment for that epic father son moment, but it wouldn’t surprise Peter if his father has yet to notice his disappearance.
But then, seemingly out of nowhere, he came into contact with a beacon of hope. A guiding star that might possibly lead him to an existence consisting of something other than misery and self loathing.
It offered him a choice; return to being the self proclaimed loser he was known as or start fresh as someone new and mysterious, with first impressions yet to be made and conclusions about him yet to be drawn. Peter had known himself to be rash in the past, when it came to making decisions he had the tendency to act impulsively, never putting too much thought into how his decisions would affect his life in the long term. The choice before him now is no different, he knew exactly what he wanted going forward, however selfish the choice may have been, the second he realised it was an option his heart was set on it.
That previously mentioned beacon of hope arrived to him in the form of a girl, in the form of you. An ex-avenger and close friend of Wanda’s, you were hired by S.W.O.R.D to help them clean up the more ‘sensitive’ fallout that the fall of WestView brought about. Obviously, they were sticking you- the only other avenger with magik- on babysitting and rehabilitation rather than letting you go after your best friend who had gone completely off the rails. Having said that though, you didn’t want anyone else handling him.
You hadn’t watched WandaVision, nor were you even aware that any of it was going on until it had reached a boiling point and you got a call from Monica Rambeau, she’d begged you to come and wait on the edge of town while she went in and act as her eyes on the outside along with Jimmy Woo.
That’s where you stayed until the hex broke down.
As soon as the barrier came down the base you manned was overrun by an armada of terribly confused and distressed citizens, Monica and Wanda were not among them but in their places stumbled in Darcy and the man playing the role of Pietro.
Jimmy appointed himself to Darcy, who in all honesty seemed relatively unscathed by the situation while you made a beeline for the dirty blonde charading as your former, dead teammate.
Peter was, to put it simply, completely enthralled by you as soon as you’d strolled over to him and in the moment he’d put his almost magnetic attraction to you down to the fact that you were the first friendly face he’d seen upon breaking free of Agatha’s possession.
But one thing in particular struck him; you’d asked him his name. You hadn’t immediately assumed him to be some knock off Pietro, as everyone else had. You acknowledged that he had his own personal identity and despite how often he caught himself hating the person he was, he found that when it was torn away from him that he wanted it back. The simple question you posed gave him the opportunity to regain his identity.
“Peter. My name is Peter.” He answered you, almost unsure of himself and you found your interest in the man piqued even further.
He remembered with perfect clarity the way you’d offered him a grin, tilted your hand, extended your hand and said, “Well it’s nice to meet you, Peter. Come on, I’ll be your babysitter for the next while.” There was something about the way you’d laughed after saying the words and the slight, yet unmistakable, glint of mischief in your eyes that had him captivated from the get go.
With you came a whirlwind of new emotions. After only a few weeks of knowing you, Peter noticed he wasn’t as lonely as he had been back home. He didn’t hate himself half as much either, he wasn’t entirely free of self deprovative tendencies and maybe he never would be, but undoubtedly, he likes himself more in this world than he ever had in his last. He thanked you and your determination to make him “a functioning member of society” for that.
It didn’t feel belittling, the way you helped him. You hadn’t dragged him to your favourite mall every weekend just to taunt him about how he couldn’t stop himself from stealing something. Even the very first time, when he’d sped away from you and returned within a second adoring a pair of freshly stolen sunglasses. Your only reaction had been to laugh and casually place your hands on both sides of his face.
“At least remember to take the tag off next time, speedy.” You’d muttered, subtly pulling the tacky stickers off the arms of his shades. No, you weren’t dragging him sight seeing or forcing him to help you go clothes shopping because you thought he was a loser who needed reforming you were doing it because you were a true friend who wanted him to succeed.
The pair of you seemed like two peas in a pod. Which to be fair, you were. Peter Maximoff intrigued you in every sense of the word. He was new, quite literally other worldly, he was kind, he was funny, he was perfectly mischievous and completely wonderful.
What caught your eye the most was the way he held himself, as if he wasn’t entirely comfortable in his own skin. It became apparent to you that he lacked confidence with the phrases he usually tacked onto the ends of his sentences. When you’d invite him to hang out in the beginning his response would always be something along the lines of, “Sure. If you want me to.” But the excitable puppy dog eyes told you that he was dying for someone to want him to tag along some place.
There was a certain understanding between you. You were both more than accustomed with the harrowing feeling of being alone and even though you’d never exactly voiced those thoughts with each other, you couldn’t deny that his was a spirit kindred to your own and he felt it too.
Since the Avengers has disbanded, one of your best friends, Natasha, was dead and your other best friend, Wanda, was gone completely off the rails and the people chasing her wouldn’t let you anywhere near her or even attempt to help pull her out of her darkness. You were being kept as a wildcard in case they needed her taken down. Peter was no stranger to the feeling of being cast aside and so he quickly responded to your frustrations, and in doing so, forced himself out of his comfort zone to be there for you. To his complete shock though, you’d been so appreciative of his efforts.
You never failed to thank him for the little things he did for you, always complimenting his mutation when he’d use it and giving him the recognition he never received at home. The friendship he formed with you was so… two sided, again, something he wasn’t accustomed to before. It didn’t involve him giving everything he had to offer and receiving nothing in return, you matched his energy meticulously and never left him hanging.
In a series of firsts, he didn’t wonder whether or not you genuinely liked him, never feeling the need or want to question it as you’d left him with no reason to doubt.
As he walked around the mall with you now, his mind brought his attention back to the question you’d asked him rather casually a few nights ago. You were both lounging on your couch, watching some ridiculous reality show (a favourite of yours and Peter’s) when you’d turned your head to look at him, a thoughtful look on your face. “Do you think when S.W.O.R.D figures the technology out to crack into other realities, you’ll go back to yours?”
The question had taken him aback for a second, in all honesty, he hadn’t thought about going home, not when he was with you at least and considering he’d become your roommate about three weeks after he got out of WestView, the thought of returning to his old life had barely crossed his mind.
Being an ex-Avenger you were fairly well off, you lived alone in a two bedroom apartment in New York that you’d bought to be closer to Stark tower. Peter had nowhere to go and aside from having a spare room to offer you’d also been sort of lost in the current of the busy city with everyone you once loved in the area either dead, on the run or busy elsewhere.
While the question hadn’t crossed Peter’s mind, it had crossed yours on several occasions. He’d been staying with you for six months and the moment you realised that he was becoming one of the most important people in your life, the thought of him leaving you too weighed on your mind but at the end of the day you wanted him to feel happy. He deserved to feel happy and if going back to his reality brought him that happiness then you’d support him.
“Dunno,” he’d replied, turning to face you, chucking a handful of popcorn at you when you looked incredulous at his response, “To be honest I haven’t really thought about it, m’way too busy babysitting you anyway.” He joked, effortlessly dodging the few pieces of popcorn you attempted to throw at him.
For the last few nights, the question haunted him, but it wasn’t just the question that was bothering him. You were at the forefront of his mind as he replayed the past six months of his life which also happened to be the best six months of his life. WestView put him through hell but coming out the other side of it and meeting you felt like heaven.
He weighed up the pros and cons of returning to his native timeline. The cons: he’d have to leave you behind, he’d go back to being the loser who nobody took seriously, his talents would be downplayed and disregarded and he’d inevitably end up revisiting his lifestyle of solitude. Then there was the pros: he’d get to reunite with his pac man machine. He couldn’t manage to think up anything else.
If he stayed he’d have everything he ever wanted and needed. You’d be there and he knew you always would be, besides he couldn’t leave you knowing that you needed him. If he left who would wake you up when you had night terrors about the catastrophe that your reality was still recovering from? There would be nobody there to comfort you when you woke up from the nightmares, reliving the deaths of Natasha, Tony or Vision and the experience of being snapped out of existence? If he wasn’t there to make you laugh when you were about to cry then who would be? In his heart of hearts he knew you had a huge support system at your disposal, he’d met most of them. Even though he was well aware that Sam visited you as often as he could, that Bucky wrote you letters on a monthly basis and sometimes tagged along with Sam on his visits, that Stephen Strange appeared in your apartment whenever the urge struck him, that the literal god of thunder invited you out for beer whenever he was visiting Earth, that the little spider-kid, also named Peter, swung by your apartment at least once a week to tell you all about school and his good deeds. Despite knowing all of this and knowing all of these people loved you dearly, Peter wanted to be your main source of support, he didn’t want to be someone who came and went, who’d love you then leave you. He wanted to be with you through anything and everything and the feeling that you’d love him for a lifetime had him satisfied with the decision he was about to make.
If leaving his old life meant he could stay here, with you, and experience happiness for more than a fleeting moment then he’d simply; leave it all behind.
“I’ve been thinking about what you asked me the other night.” He spoke through a mouthful of curly fries. You were sitting in the food court of the mall when he decided to let you in on his desire to stay with you indefinitely.
You raised your eyebrow, “You? Putting thought into an answer? Peter, I think I’m starting to become a bad influence on you.” You told him teasingly, taking a long sip of your drink as he rolled his eyes humorously.
“You’re a terrible influence which is exactly why I’ve decided to stay here and put you on the straight and narrow.” The glee you felt at his statement was undeniable, your eyes lit up and your lips curled upwards.
“You’re staying? Really staying?” Your smile was contagious, Peter’s face now painted with a wide grin as he nodded his head.
In a moment of weakness he frantically added, “Y’know only if you want me to though. If you don’t that’s completely cool.” He rushed through the words, feeling more embarrassed when the fond look on your face never faded.
“Of course I want you to stay. You mean a lot to me.” You reassured him, a gentle smile on your lips as you reached across the metal table, intertwining your fingers with his.
Peter squeezed your hand gratefully, holding it in his grasp securely and allowing his smile to return to his face, “I know. You mean a lot to me too.” It was somewhat of an understatement, he was starting to understand that you didn’t just mean a lot, but that you meant everything.
His resolution lifted a huge weight off your shoulders that you wouldn’t be losing yet another best friend. You were glad he’d be with you when everything blew over with Wanda, the two of them definitely had the potential to develop a beautiful sibling relationship and they both deserved that. Of course, Peter would never replace Pietro and having known them both it was obvious just how different the two men were, the only thing they had in common being their powers and last name. Still, he and Wanda would still be able to work on it. He didn’t hate her after WestView and you knew Wanda well enough to know that she was kind hearted and she’d be more than willing to give him a chance. When she eventually comes back to her senses, that it.
As the months went on, life with you and Peter seemed to only get better. You never stopped laughing, your nightmares died down and Peter had taken on a whole new lease of life. Yourself and Peter were the perfect example of meeting the right person at the right time, you balanced each other out and accentuated the other’s good qualities.
Peter could now say with complete confidence that he was happy and what’s more is that he was finally sure that he was making someone happy.
Up until nearly eleven months of living together your relationship had been purely platonic, save for the constant flirting but flirtation pretty much ran in yours and Peter’s blood. Peter wasn’t going to lie to himself, he’d fallen for you the second you’d peeled the security tags off his stolen sunglasses.
You, on the other hand, had been fighting with yourself because yes, you love Peter but you couldn’t have told him when there was the possibility he’d eventually leave and now so much time has passed and you’ve got such a good thing going you didn’t have it in you to ruin it.
However, all of that changed when your original Maximoff best friend came knocking on your door.
Wanda was on the run. She’d caused an amazing amount of chaos but Stephen Strange and S.W.O.R.D were hot on her trail and now she needed a place to lay low with the twins. She figured there was no place more reliable to go than to the always open arms of her best friend, who conveniently had a divinity for earth magik and could muster up a protective barrier without raising suspicions. And that’s exactly where she found herself; outside your door.
You’d been chasing Peter around the apartment when you heard the knock on the door. Peter was on the opposite end of the kitchen to you, using the bar as a shield from you. “You better get that.”
“Oh you’d like that wouldn’t you?” You glared as you spoke, it was his own fault really. What sort of idiot jumpscares a witch while she’s mid-meditation? He’d frightened you so badly you accidentally blasted a ball of your signature green energy and ruined your favourite couch throw pillow. When you were ready to pounce on the scared speedster the knocks sounded again, more frantic this time.
With one last glare towards Peter you stomped towards the door. Your anger melted away completely when you saw her. Her hood was up and she looked completely exhausted, two small hooded little boys by her side.
“Wanda…” You breathed out, relief flooding your system at the sight of her alive. She didn’t get a chance to speak before your arms were pulling her against you tightly, hugging her as if your life depended on it. Wanda returned in your embrace, allowing herself to relax for the first time in nearly a year, she sniffled against your shoulder, holding back tears as she realised how much she’d truly missed you.
Billy and Tommy watched in confusion as their mother cried into your shoulder. They didn’t know who you were, all their mother had told them was that they were going somewhere safe.
It was the yell of one of the boys that caused you and Wanda to separate, “Uncle P!” With that you felt a familiar rush of air across your leg but instead of Peter appearing one of the kids was gone.
You shared a perplexed look with Wanda, although your confusion was for different reasons.
“Hey hell raisers!” Peter responded, catching the mini speedster who all but threw himself at him barely regaining his balance before the other child had flung himself into the hug.
“Wanda? Those two… are they...?” You started, at a loss for words Wanda cut you off quietly, her tone as disbelieving as yours.
“My children? Yes. Is that…?” You nodded your head numbly, anticipating the end of her question.
“Your fake brother? Yeah.” Quickly, you realised you and a wanted woman catching up with the door wide open wasn’t ideal and you ushered Wanda inside, shutting the door when she walked in.
“Hey.” Peter greeted her simply, as if he hadn’t been used as a meat puppet in her altered reality. It wasn’t in his nature to hold any grudges.
“Hi?” Wanda replied, her voice still twinged with confusion.
“Peter, will you keep an eye on the kids for a bit? Wanda and I have some catching up to do.” You asked him with a nervous laugh, just thankful that Wanda was too tired to argue with your suggestion.
Peter ruffled the boys’ hair and gave you a grin, “Only if you stop trying to kill me.”
You rolled your eyes as you began to lead Wanda into your bedroom, “You’re on probation, jerk.” You called over your shoulder.
Once you were securely in your bedroom, the door locked and sitting comfortably you fixed Wanda with an amused look, “I’d ask you what’s new but I’m not sure I even wanna know.”
Wanda gave you a sad smile while she shook her head, “No, you probably don’t. I will tell you tomorrow, I don’t want to get into it tonight. I’m so tired.” She admitted, her voice overcome with sadness.
“I’ll pump up the air mattress and you and the boys can sleep in here for however long you need. I’d offer you the spare room but that’s where Peter’s been staying and I don’t think empty food containers are the kind of decor you’d be into.” Wanda nodded, squeezing your hand gratefully.
“So his name is Peter?” She asked, curious about the man Agatha had used to trick her in WestView.
You nodded in confirmation, “Yeah. Peter Maximoff, actually.”
Wanda’s brows came to a furrow at that, “Maximoff? So he’s a relation?”
“Yes and no. Peter is from a different reality but he’s still a Maximoff and he’s got super speed. So, and this is just my theory, while you’re not directly related he could still be your brother- if you wanted him to.” You explained, as gently as you could, not trying to push her too far but to nudge the idea in her direction.
Wanda, to your surprise, didn't seem to hate the suggestion, “What is he like?”
A genuine smile made it onto your face then, as you shot into your description of your roommate, “He’s caring, funny, a little bit of a kleptomaniac but he’s working on it. He’s understanding and moronically selfless, moronic in the sense that he doesn’t even realise he’s being selfless. Huge pain in the ass too.” Wanda had a soft smile on her face by the time you’d finished.
“You like him.” Was all she said and you let out a laugh in disbelief, standing up and opening the door.
“Go grab a shower. I’ll have Peter blow up the air mattress while I go introduce myself to my god sons.”
“I thought you’d at least wait until I actually asked you.” Wanda laughed as you walked out of the room.
Things moved fairly quickly after that. As promised you introduced yourself to Billy and Tommy as their god mother, which they seemed more than thrilled about and you assumed that excitement had to do with whatever description of you Peter had given them. Wanda and the twins were all cleaned and fed and had all but collapsed into bed, foregoing the air mattress and huddling together in your double bed instead.
“Where are you sleeping, mother Teresa?” Peter teased as he noticed your eyes drooping where you stood.
“On the couch probably. Or the air mattress.” You mumbled, cutting yourself off with a yawn.
Peter, unimpressed with your options, scoffed, “No way. Come on, you can bunk with me.”
Much like Wanda, you were too tired to argue and you let Peter pull you to his, surprisingly clean, room by the hand.
You both crawled into the bed, lying close together despite the amount of empty space on the mattress.
“How are you feeling about all of this?” Your soft voice broke through the silence and Peter turned his head to look at you.
“About Wanda?” You nodded your head, watching him intently as he rolled onto his side, facing you more comfortably.
Peter shrugged lightly, “I’m feeling ok. Just glad the twins still see me as their cool uncle.” You let out a small laugh at his response.
“Wanda was asking about you. Seemed interested in getting to know the real you.” You informed him, your heartwarming as you watched a hopeful look fall across his face.
A lull settled over the room once again and Peter caught himself staring at you. His eyes drifted over every visible part of you, reminding him of most of the points on his pros list for staying in your universe; your eyes, your lashes, your nose, your lips, you.
“What’re you thinking about?” The sound of your tired voice pulled him out of his thoughts and ultimately pushed him to bite the bullet and tell you how he’s feeling. With you curled up beside him, in his bed, fighting sleep just to stay in his company for as long as you could; he knew there would be no better time.
“Just about how happy I am to be here with you.” He answered you honestly, the butterflies in both of your stomachs fluttering in sync at his words.
You trailed a hand under the duvet and onto the bedsheets between your bodies, feeling around until you found his hand and gently intertwined your fingers. “I’m happy you decided to stay.”
“What you’ve all gone through in this timeline sucks- don’t get me wrong-“ Peter started sincerely, scooting closer to you and dropping his head back down on the edge of your pillow, leaving the pair of you practically nose to nose as he went on.
“And I hate that Wanda had to go through so much… but I’m really glad that it led me to you.” Peter swore in that moment, right after the confession left his mouth, that he could die right now and be completely content knowing that you now knew how he felt.
His heart stopped, and he thought that maybe he was about to die, when you gave him the softest, sweetest smile he’d ever been on the receiving end of and whispered, “I feel the same.”
Time moved in slow motion as he felt you moving your intertwined hands towards your lips, your lips pressed gently against the back of Peter’s hand before you brought them to rest against your chest.
It was a fact to say that Peter Maximoff had never felt intimacy quite like this before. But, experiencing it now, with you, led him to wonder how he’d ever survived without it. He wasn’t sure whether it was natural to crave more, especially when the affection you were showing him was so gentle, but he didn’t care as he let the impulsive side of him take over.
Not sparing another word, Peter closed the small distance between your lips and his. His free hand cupped your jaw while yours wasted no time in getting tangled in his silver hair.
His lips moved softly and surprisingly slowly over yours and he savoured the feeling of your hand holding his while your other got lost in his hair, your body pressed up against him, the way your jaw moved against his palm as you reciprocated the movement of his lips and the taste of your lips, promising himself he’d never let the memory slip from his mind for as long as he lived.
With complete clarity, Peter could say he had felt true, genuine happiness and he had no doubt in his mind that there was absolutely nothing Charles, Hank, Scott or anyone else from his original timeline could say to make him leave this happiness behind. Because in the process of forgetting his old life, he couldn’t deny that he has undoubtedly found himself in the position of a man who had so much more to live for.

Loki season 1 (Spoilers)
My thoughts after watching episode 6:
what did I even watch
didn’t really feel like an episode finale, more like a filler where they just give you some information
THE ENDING WHAT
the KISS - i almost threw up
i do not approve
when I said I wanted Loki to love and accept himself I DID NOT MEAN LITERALLY
SEASON 2
I kinda like Kang tho, the actor did a really good job
Thoughts about the show:
it was a good show, although, it wasn’t my favourite out of the three we’ve been given.
They kind of butchered Loki’s character when Sylvie came in.
He was kind of useless in some scenes
the relationship between Loki and Sylvie just proves how desperate they were for Loki to have a love interest which he really doesn’t need, he needs like 500 hours of therapy.
She was the only ‘female’ Loki variant out of all the other variants which separates her from the rest and make her seem less like a Loki.
They could’ve picked any other Loki variant instead of Sylvie, like kid Loki, classic Loki, cough President Loki cough, but instead they chose her.
She never talked about Thor like the others did, because that would remind the viewers that Thor is her brother too and that she is a Loki.
I wanted them to have a chaotic sibling relationship like they did in episode 3.
I’m not sure how I feel about Sylvie.
I understand how she felt and why she did it
she was orphaned and hunted by these guys and Kang was the one behind it all so of course she wanted revenge
not sure if that was the best decision though
I love the dynamic between loki and mobius
they have great chemistry and kind of completes each other in a weird way lol
wandavision and tfatws had more depth and i wanted to see the same thing here but kind of didn’t.
I wanted to see a lot more development of Loki’s powers, which we did in like 1 episode and then that was kind of it.
I liked the show because it will lead up to multiverse of madness (poor dr. strange, man works too hard)
and we got to see some character development from Loki
Going from trying to take over an entire planet to admitting he doesn’t want a throne is a very big step for him
the actors did a fantastic job in this show and I send them all my love and support
Tom Hiddleston really loves Loki  and he wants other to see the depth of his character, which is really awesome
I can’t wait for season 2 :)
These are just my thoughts and opinions about the show, please respect them. If you do not agree with any of them and want to argue for your opinion, please do so in a respectful manner.
Also, i will not accept any slander towards any of the actors, they all did amazing jobs. Remember, the actors aren’t the characters

Rebound - Hawk X Female!Reader
taking place some time after his breakup with moon, (probably end of S3 era after his redemption) he starts to develop feelings for y/n, but he isn’t sure if he’s ready for another relationship after what happened with moon. this results in constant disguised flirting to avoid commitment, leaving y/n confused on if he likes her, or is just joking around.
p.s. thank you guys so much for 100 followers!! :) i decided that im gonna make a hawk imagine as a thank you since i’ve been thinking about doing it for awhile. im so scared to post this bye.
Tumblr media
words; 2,444
includes; light swearing, angst, fluff
It had gotten to a point, that it was almost bothersome. Bothersome, the way he would talk to you, and pretend like it was nothing.
“Hey gorgeous,” he greeted you as you sat down at Hawk’s lunch table. Your friends smirked and you rolled your eyes, trying to repress a smile. He did this all too often, making comments that shouldn’t be made unless it meant something more.
“Hi.” You sat down awkwardly, never knowing how to respond to his uncomfortable remarks. Not that you exactly minded them, you’d be lying if you said you didn’t have a bit of a thing for Hawk. But what you didn’t like, however, was not being able to tell if his comments were serious, or just another way to amuse himself over your reactions.
“So, we were just talking about the next All Valley. You’re coming to watch, right?” Hawk asked you as he bit into his food. You were never really into actually taking these karate classes, but you were a supportive friend to the group and always came to watch them fight. “Yeah, of course.”
“I still think you should join the dojo and fight with us, Y/N.” Miguel said hopefully and you smiled at him, preparing to reject the idea again. “Yeah, plus, you’d look pretty hot in the uniform, right guys?” Hawk joked, looking to the table for agreement. You let out a sigh of disappointment at the comment, laughing it off as the rest of the group agreed.
“Yeah, not happening.” You said while grinning, shutting the idea down for the millionth time. Hawk frowned. “You’re lame.” He stuck out a finger from behind the sandwich he was holding to point a finger at you. “Oh well. Looks like you guys will have to find another way to spend more time with me.” You joked, and gave a shrug of your shoulders to your friends.
You had thought, this would have been a good opening for Hawk to say something like ‘You’re right, do you wanna go out with me this weekend?’ but of course, he didn’t say that. He didn’t say anything, really. The conversation just went on.
It made no sense to you why he acted the way he did, but never made a move. It was truly infuriating at times. Eventually the bell rang, and you all parted for the second half of your classes. You wouldn’t see Hawk again until your last period, which was both upsetting and a relief for you at the same time. He’s just so unpredictable.
There had even been times you’d called him out on his behavior, like when you all went out to Golf N’ Stuff and he practically acted like you two were a couple the whole night. He was complimenting you, putting his arm around you, and it prompted you to quite literally say, ‘If you actually like me that much why haven’t you asked me out?’ In a taunting tone towards him, wanting to see what he’d do.
For the first time in a long time, he’d seemed intimidated. He retracted his arm from you even, and after a moment’s silence regained his usual composure to spout a “You wish,” and laugh it off. It hurt your feelings a little, honestly. Was he just using you for the comfort without the obligation? Could it have easily been anyone else besides you? You were determined to find out, but you’ve just been stuck playing the long game.
It was later that day when you reached your final class that more unsurprising events from Hawk occurred. You had been sitting in the general center area of the classroom when Hawk walked in, and he shot a wink your way as he took his usual seat behind you.
“Hey,” he greeted. You turned around to face him, noticing once again how cute he looked in his red hoodie that you wish was yours, and replied nonchalantly. “Hey, how was bio?” You asked him. The teacher wasn’t here yet, so you were thankfully able to converse without being yelled at.
“It was wild,” he started, and his eyes lit up while his mouth curled into a devious smile. “We actually dissected some shit today. Just completely ripped the frog’s guts apart.” He spoke, feeling accomplished. “Totally badass.”
You mimicked the way a person would vomit, exclaiming how disgusting that story was. “And that is exactly why I am not taking biology.” You said while giggling.
He rolled his eyes playfully, but watched you intently as you laughed. He didn’t say anything at first, just smiled softly. “I love your laugh, it’s so cute.” There it is. Except this time it seemed a little more sincere than a harmless flirtation. Too bad that you know that’s all it really is, though.
You furrowed your eyebrows at him in a confused look at his compliment like you always do, and turned back to the front of the class when you realized the teacher had just arrived.
It can’t be that he’s scared to ask you out in some sort of fear of rejection, because you’ve made it pretty clear how you feel many times before. When it first started, you tried to reciprocate the things he did and said. But every time you tried, he brushed you off and made you feel like he didn’t want that. So, what, he could flirt with you, but you couldn’t flirt with him? How is that fair?
You considered these thoughts throughout class, and it was starting to frustrate you. Seriously, how is that fair?
You had become so focused on these thoughts, in fact, that you didn’t notice when the teacher had called on you. “Y/N,” Hawk shook your arm from behind you trying to get your attention back onto the class, and you whipped your head up. “Yeah, sorry.”
When class was over and you headed out of the room, Hawk was close to follow behind and pull you to the side before you got too far. “Hey are we still on for tonight?” He asked confidently, referring to your plan to watch the new WandaVision episode together at his house after school. You would’ve been nervous about this, but luckily Demetri was coming, so it shouldn’t be too awful.
“Yeah, duh,” you said while walking towards the exit with him. When you reached his car, you looked around. “Where’s Demetri?” You questioned, as Hawk started getting in the drivers’ seat. “He didn’t tell you he wasn’t coming?” He said boredly. Suddenly you felt tense, but you masked that with a look of annoyance. Figures.
“Ugh, what? No? He’s annoying. Why not?” You complained as you got in the car, no longer waiting for Demetri to show up. “Family dinner, I think?” He responded, while you buckled in your seatbelt and checked your makeup in the little mirror.
“Okay, well, his loss I guess.” You tried to hide your anxiousness about the fact you two were now going to be alone together at his house, with continued annoyance about Demetri’s cancellation.
“Yeah definitely, what loser would pass up an entire hour of sitting next to you?” He commented smugly, trying to lighten the mood. “Half-hour.” You corrected, turning your head away and ignoring the flirtatious intention of the comment.
You shook off the unexpected change of plan and suggested some music, to which Hawk agreed. You both terribly sang along to a few songs while chatting about WandaVision theories until you got to his house, and went inside.
“So what was that in class today?” As you two were walking upstairs to his room, he asked you this almost through a bit of laughter. “What do you mean?” You looked for clarification, hoping he didn’t mean what you thought he did. “You never lose focus in class.” He confirmed.
“Yeah I don’t know! Just zoned out I guess.” You tried to explain without giving him the details on the thoughts that caused your zoning out, thankful for not having to be in direct eye contact with him as you answered while walking inside his room.
Unfortunately, this answer was not good enough for Hawk. “Bullshit! What were you thinking about?” He encouraged lightheartedly, assuming this topic of conversation wouldn’t be anything deep. How wrong he was.
You sat down on his bed and he did the same, and you tried to think of what to say next. At your silence he continued, “You were probably thinking about how hot I am, huh?” You lightly smacked his arm and let out a breath of defeat.
“I don’t wanna kill the vibe by talking about this. I just wanna see Evan Peters in the next episode.” You tried changing the topic by making a joke, but he didn’t budge.
“Dude, what is it? Seriously you can talk to me.” He looked at you sincerely and moved a little closer, detecting this might be more serious than he thought. As annoyed as you were that he wouldn’t give this up, your heart melted a bit at this action.
Then, that heart started beating incredibly fast when you realized what you were now going to have to admit to him. It’s fine, you told yourself, you’ve been wanting to get this off your chest for ages, so just do it.
“Do you like me?” You blurted out.
That is not how you intended to start this conversation at all.
The smirk that was always planted on Hawk’s face immediately fell, and he suddenly looked nervous. “What?” He asked, trying to avoid answering.
Lucky for him, you had more to say.
“All you do, every time I see you, is make flirtatious comments towards me, and it’s weird. It wouldn’t be weird if you actually meant them, but you had plenty of chances to act on it and you haven’t, so at this point I’m wondering if you’re just using me as some sort of fun rebound to mess with and you don’t even like me at all, especially since whenever I tried to flirt back you brushed it off and acted like I was an idiot for doing that, so if you don’t actually like me I’d appreciate if you stopped doing what you’re doing because it’s confusing and I don’t know how to act around you anymore.”
You hesitated for a moment after your very passionate speech, and finished with, “That.. is what I was thinking about during class.”
You looked up at him anxiously and saw an expression of hurt and guilt on his face, and he gulped harshly at the realization that it was his turn to talk.
“You’re not a rebound.” He spoke softly, avoiding eye contact, almost reverting back to his Eli persona. You felt a glimpse of hope at this, but waited for him to continue, fidgeting with the ends of your shirt’s sleeves in impatience.
“And I’m sorry I made you feel like that was even a possibility.” He said louder, slowly regaining his confidence in his words. “I’ve been nervous, after Moon, about getting into another relationship.” He admitted to you, finally looking into your eyes.
Now that he wasn’t as nervous anymore to explain himself, suddenly you were. Where was this going?
“I didn’t want to commit to anything, I was..” He took a breath, as if ashamed to say it, “Scared.” He looked down, avoiding your gaze again, but continued. “I just didn’t want to screw up the same way I did before, and grow a relationship like that just for it to end so soon.”
“So you thought you’d just flirt with whoever was around to compensate your need for love?” You interrupted harshly. You felt a little bad, but you were still angry, and insecure.. and it still sounded like a rebound.
But all your thoughts of self-doubt went out the window when he took your hands in his. “No!” Hawk said, almost shouting in disbelief at you. “I like you a lot, Y/N. I just didn’t know what to do about it. I didn’t want to make things serious and get hurt again, or even worse I do something stupid and hurt you. But I guess my attempt at ‘liking you from a distance’—“ He put emphasis on those words, as though making fun of his own phrasing. “—ended up being stupid and hurt you anyways. And I’m really sorry for that.”
Hawk poured his heart out to you, and you were in shock. You don’t think you’d ever seen him so vulnerable before. You couldn’t think of anything else to say, so you did something you thought you’d never do.
You kissed him.
His short look of confusion as you leaned in quickly faded when he realized, and he happily accepted the kiss. He moved his hand to hold your face, his other one on your waist, and you lightly rested your hands on his chest. A sense of relief washed over you, finally understanding what was going through his head all this time. Before the kiss could deepen, you parted from him to say something.
“I understand,” You moved your arms up a little, wrapping them around his neck while talking, and he held your waist loosely. “But I hope you know that we don’t have to be like you and Moon. You’ve changed so much since then. And I believe in us. I want to be with you.”
You stared into his eyes intensely, hoping he would say exactly what you’ve been wanting him to say to you for months.
His puppy dog expression broke into a huge smile, and he nodded. “Yeah, I want to be with you too.” He leaned in again, much more confidently this time, and kissed you deeply.
He kept his hold on your waist tight, and your lips continued to move together as your hands grasped onto the back of his neck. He leaned forwards slightly and moved his hand to hold your jaw, but accidentally broke the kiss from a smile he couldn’t manage to suppress.
You giggled at this, giving him another quick peck on the lips before turning yourself towards the TV. “So, WandaVision?” You reminded him, laughing to yourself a bit at how things escalated.
“Oh, right,” Hawk hesitated, looking at you for another second. “Fine.” He gave up the idea of kissing you more, and searched for the remote.
“I guess we should be glad Demetri didn’t come after all.” Hawk smiled slyly as he picked up the remote, and cuddled up next to you on the bed.
You laughed, and curled up close to him as he turned on the show. “Yeah, definitely.”

Petals (pt.1)
Tumblr media
*I have returned and I bring with me a Bucky x Reader mini series. This takes place during #TFATWS. Also, this is a bit lighter (yet darker) than my regular stuff. Not fluff but sweet because god knows Bucky deserves to be happy every now and then. Also, this does have references to the X-Men comics and WandaVision*
-The Lady Scarlettt
Synopsis: Madripoor had everything you needed to forget your past, and everything you needed to lose your future.
Part Warnings: suggestive scenes, language, mentions of mutilation
---
Sunlight caught the blinds in a dance of shadows. Her eyes twitched with the familiar warmth of the morning star across her face. She slowly opened her eyes taking in the sight of their small room. It was bland and empty, just like their luck in finding Karli. (For a girl to be everywhere, she was also nowhere.)
A grunt came from across the room, she sat up in the stiff bed to find Bucky lying on the floor with a blanket barely clinging to his sweaty body. She let out a soft sigh and rubbed her eyes. While he was capable of so much, she found it heartbreaking he had so little, it broke her to see him robbed of even the simplest of things such as rest and a bed. She pulled on his black tee shirt from the night before and snuck over to sit beside him. She watched as his eyes darted side to side behind his dark eye lids. If he didn’t sleep well before, he surely didn’t now with the constant traveling, search for Karli, run in with America’s Next Top Asshole and the literal cause of his night terrors in the next room.
“Did you know it’s considered an invasion of privacy to watch someone while they’re asleep.” Bucky grumbled, his eyes still closed.
“Good thing you weren’t asleep then.” she stated.
A slight smirk tugged on his lips, “Did you sleep well?”
“I would have slept better if my pillow didn’t wonder off in the middle of the night.” she teased.
He opened one eye to look up at her, “Sorry.”
She only smiled sweetly, her hand finding its way to his stubbled cheek. “You really need a razor.”
He grabbed her wrist pulling her down to him, and began to nuzzle her neck with his chin.
She gagged at the sensation, “Ugh- for an old man you really behave like a child- hey!” In one swift motion he was on top of her tickling her neck.
“Stop. Stop it.” She hissed as she playfully swat at him to get off her. He chuckled and leaned back still, straddling her waist.
“You have so much energy in the mornings for literally no reason,” she groaned, rubbing her lightly burned skin.
He leaned down to her, a smirk on his lips, “I can come up with a few, if you’d like.”
She rolled her eyes, even though her cheeks began to flush, “Knock it off.”
He made a tch sound with his teeth, and sat back up.
She smiled and sat up on her knees, her hands clasping behind his neck, a finger twirling the slightly grown out hair. He leaned into her, looking up at her from where he sat, a sad expression came across his face.
“What is it?” she asked, rubbing her nails lazily through his thick hair.
“I just,” he sighed trying to find his words, “I want to stay with you, but I just can’t make myself. I’m afraid of what I might do, if I stay too long.”
She tilted her head, searching his eyes, “What do you mean?”
“I mean, I don’t want to have an episode at night and lash out. Sometimes they feel so real and I get can’t control myself and the last thing I want to do is hurt you and-”
“Hey, Hey, Hey” she interrupted, “Look at me.” She lifted his face up to hers, “Look at me, you could never do anything to hurt me. I know you don’t trust yourself sometimes, but I trust you and I know you. I’m not afraid of the ‘what if’s.” Please, hear me when I say, I want you to let me in, I want to be apart of this, all of it. I want to help you Bucky, but I can only go as far as you’ll let me. And if it takes time, ok but it’s going to take more than a nightmare to make me go anywhere. Ok?”
He stared at her for a long time, a blank expression on his face. She couldn’t tell if she had overstimulated him with her cheesiness or he simply was dead.
“Bucky? If I’m overstepping, I understand-”
He abruptly wrapped his arms around her back, pulling her small figure to his. She melted into his touch, just as she had the first time he held her. They stayed like that for awhile until she heard him whisper.
“I love you.”
She smiled against his cool skin, “I love you too.”
He brought her face up to meet his and kissed her softly. His lips were always so soft and warm, something you wouldn’t expect. His thumb made tiny circles along her jaw, as she kissed him back. His hand slowly snaked their way down to her thigh where he pulled her onto his lap. She subconsciously, wrapped her legs around his waist and arched her back pulling him upward slightly. He held her thigh with one hand and reclined back with the metal one, smiling into her touch. She pushed forward as he pushed back, every kiss becoming more passionate than the last. She pulled at his hair, causing a longing moan to escape from his lips, exposing his neck. She began to place light kisses along side his neck, his breathing became deep as he massaged her thigh in return.
He flipped over, now pressing her back against the ground, topping her. He kissed her back deeply, his tongue becoming well acquainted with her mouth. One hand began to find its way in between her thighs.
Her eyes snapped open, “James.” She grabbed his hand, “It is 4 in the morning.” She hissed.
“HELL YEAH IT’S 4 IN THE GODDAMN MORNING!” Sam blurted out from the next room.
Bucky buckled forward burrowing his head in her neck holding back his horror.
“Shit,” Her face became the next 50 shades of red, as she covered her mouth with her hand to prevent a wave of uncomfortable laughter.
“HERE I THOUGHT AT 11pm I WOULD GET MY BEAUTY SLEEP BUT NOOOO. IF I HEAR THAT DAMN SHIT AGAIN I WILL COME IN THERE AND BEAT BOTH OF YALL’S NASTY ASSES.”
There was a moment of silence as the two looked between each other with mischievous smiles. He rolled his eyes and licked his lips knowingly. She let out a staged moan loud enough to be heard from outside.
“Fuck. Y/N.” Bucky grunted, his face tinted trying to remain collected. She covered her face with her hands moaning back at him.
Seeing her smile only made Bucky ham it up more as he began slapping his hand on the floor to create more of a scene to which she erupted in a fit of choked laughter. Sam yelled something from the other room about Jesus Christ and Sin. Bucky stood up with that smug look on his face, as he did whenever he won at annoying Sam Wilson. He gave her his hand and hauled her off the ground with barely any effort.
She finally settled down from laughing and looked at him, “I think we should do that more often.”
“What? Piss off bird boy or have sex?” He asked.
She grinned, “Can it not be both?”
Bucky made a face as if he was scheduling the next when and where.
She gave him a light slap, “Now don’t get cocky about it. Also, you stink. Go take a shower.”
He looked at her offended then gave a sly look, “Or we could ta-“
“No” she snapped like a mother to her child, “Get.”
He held up his hands up in defense, “Alright, Alright, but I’m going to need my shirt back.”
She groaned and peeled off the shirt and tossed it at his face. He pulled the shirt down and gave her a once over, “I like that color” he said inspecting her black laced undergarments.
“Good Lord, Go.” she shoved him towards the bathroom. He chuckled at her and whipped the shirt over his shoulder, sending her a cocky grin as he left the room.
Once the door closed behind him, she let out a sigh and sat on the edge of the bed. A wave of depression washed over her as she longed for the day they could just stay in bed and not battle some end of the world threat. She looked to the blanket on the floor where he slept the night before. He deserved so much more than this. They deserved so much more than this.
She couldn’t lie, after the blip the thought of going off grid looked truly appealing. With Nat, Tony, Vision, Bruce, Wanda, Thor, and Steve gone, the Avengers felt more like a club then an actual organization. While she had always been closer to Sam, Bucky and Steve the hole left behind by the others made it too hard to go on some days. What was the point? Every time something was fixed something worse happened. And they never were thanked properly, only ridiculed by what should have been done, because everyone always expected them to be heroes; yet they never saw they were also human. The only reason she stayed was for Sam and Bucky, they had become her family, especially after Steve’s passing, who was like a father figure to her.
She pushed away the memories that came rushing in. She could not allow herself to get emotional, their job here needed her full attention. She stood and changed into her suit and left the room.
Zemo was reclined on a sofa, drinking a cup of tea. When she entered he gave her a solemn nod. She cringed slightly, the anger at what he did to Bucky and T’Challa creeping back in.
“You’re up early.” She stated flatly.
“Hard to sleep with all the noise.” He shot her a look. “I can start you a kettle if you’d like.”
“Sorry, and no thanks, I got it.” She said. Grabbing a kettle and filling it with water.
Zemo stood, “Do you mind? I’ve read of your powers but never have I seen them.”
She shifted on her feet, “Well, sure but it won’t be a firework show or anything like that. It’s still a new thing to me and I can’t really do much.”
“Can’t? Or won’t?” Zemo asked, approaching her, finding a spot at the bar.
She looked at him as to say something but decided against it. She looked back to the kettle and placed her hands along the side. Zemo watched her every move; observing, analyzing.
She took a deep breath in and reached for a part in her to attract the sensation she feels around her. The kettle began to warm and in a minute it was boiling.
“Fascinating” Zemo whispered, his eyebrows scrunched in concentration.
She poured the steaming hot water into a cup and placed two teabags in it. “See, nothing special.”
Zemo looked at her as if she had said something absurd. “You have a gift.” He countered.
“Feels more like a curse.” She scoffed.
“When did this begin?” He asked.
“I don’t know, I feel like I’ve always had these... these abilities but it wasn’t until after the blip did I truly began to use them.”
“Fascinating.” Zemo repeated.
She pursed her lips, while she loathed everything about Zemo, she couldn’t lie having someone appreciate her abilities felt nice. She normally just felt like a freak, too afraid to show too much emotion, in fear she might lose control.
“Can I have you try something?” Zemo requested.
She scoffed, “Sorry, I don’t feel like playing lab rat today.”
Zemo made a face, “I understand your negative emotions towards me, but to say I have had failures in this field would be an incorrect accusation.”
She rolled her eyes, “Fine. What?”
He leapt off his seat, seemingly excited to play mad scientist again. He fetched a candle from the table and sat it infront of her. She cocked an eyebrow.
“Light it.” He said, gesturing to the wick.
“I- I don’t think that’s how it works.”
“Light it.” He repeated, pushing the candle towards her.
She reached to touch the wick but he slapped her hand away.
“Hey!” She blurted out, glaring at him.
“Without touch.” He said calmly.
She looked at him then back to the candle, frustrated.
“Focus on what you wish for it to be, what it will look like, how it will feel.” Zemo coached.
She shifted on her feet again, finding a more comfortable stance. She focused on her breath and stared at the wick.
“Breath in, and when you breath out try to push your energy at it.” Zemo said.
She closed her eyes feeling a tingling sensation around her, she inhaled slowly, feeling the sensation grow. She opened her eyes and focused the sensation onto her target. She heard a crackle sound, as if a fire was trying to start. She looked to Zemo wide eyed, he never looked up.
“Again.” He said, staring at the wick.
She shifted and this time held out her hand. She took a deep breath and this time flicked her hand at the wick on the exhale, a flame consumed the wick and began to slowly burn. She gasped.
“Beautiful.” Zemo smiled.
“Well shit,” a voice was heard. They looked over to see Sam propped alongside a wall. “You got sparkly fingers, Y/N.”
She laughed, delighted in herself, “Did you see it?”
“I saw it.” He smiled.
She looked to Zemo, “How? How did that happen?”
Zemo held out his hand and she reluctantly lended him hers. He flipped her palm up and traced a distinct ‘M’ she never noticed before, with his finger. “You are a mutant. You were born with this gift and just now have discovered it.”
“A mutant.” She echoed. “How do you know?”
“All mutants have the symbol ‘M’ mapped on their palm. Each with a unique ability. Your friend Wanda, she is a mutant as well.”
“There’s more?” She gasped looking at Sam.
“Many more, we walk beside them each day, yet we do not know it.” Zemo said.
She looked back to Zemo, suddenly desperate for knowledge. She knew she had these powers but half the time she felt it was all coincidence, and was honestly too afraid to attempt to use them. Knowing what happened to Wanda.
“I want to know everything, please tell me what you know.” She said.
“Woah, woah. Look, the magic trick was impressive but I don’t think you should be getting your information from him, Y/N.” Sam said walking towards her.
“Sam, he’s the only one I’ve ever met, who knows about this stuff, besides Wanda and I don’t even know where she is.” She protested.
“I assure you I do not intend to mislead-“ Zemo started.
Sam pointed at him, “No. You do not get to say that after all you’ve done. The only thing you do is mislead. Hell, you’ve probably already done something to sabotage the mission.”
“You think so little of me, Sam.” Zemo pouted.
“Yeah, I do and for good reason.” Sam stated.
“Sam,” Y/N started.
“Y/N! Sam!” Bucky’s voice echoed throughout the small apartment.
The two took off in the direction of the noise immediately. They came into the room to find Bucky staring out the window.
“What is it?” Y/N asked, coming to stand beside Bucky. She looked out the window, her eyes widening in horror.
“My god.” Sam uttered.
Outside the window was a some kind of mutilated animal strung upside down. Blood dripped menacingly to the ground below.
“What does it mean?” Sam asked.
“It’s an invitation.” A voice said. The three turned around to find Zemo.
“The Power Broker requests our presence.”

Reasons why myself and others thought that Evan Peters was going to play Peter Maximoff in WandaVision:
Tumblr media
(Cause I'm tired of people being like, "There were no evidence or reasons to think he was the Quicksilver from the X-Men." Or "Your expectations were to high." 😧)
They casted Evan Peters. I know they needed to make it clear to the audience that this was a "fake" version of Wanda's brother, so using Evan Peters would connect some dots. But it's the fact that he's actually a random person that's so odd. Let's just say if Agatha used anyone else other than Ralph Bohner in WestView, would Wanda have reacted the same way? I guess it didn't matter how Wanda herself reacted specifically, because the writers were counting on the audience to react and assume who he's supposed to be because of his previous role in the X-Men franchise. Like imagine that scene with a completely different actor, not Evan or Aaron, it wouldn't have been the same right? Marvel knew that unfortunately and played off of our previous knowledge and nostalgia for Peter Maximoff from the X-Men.
He was playing the role of "Quicksilver". This is immensly self explanatory but Evan Peters did play Quicksilver in the X-Men and in WandaVision he literally played a version of Quicksilver. Sort-of. In the behind the scenes of WandaVision in Marvel Studios Assembled, the name they put beside Evan Peters was Pietro Maximoff, without the quotations. Why not use the name Ralph Bohner??? That was his actual identity in the show according to the finale, right? Anyway, his role was so meta and fun that fans truly thought it should mean something more.
His outfits. The first time we see Ralph, he has the same aesthetic and fashion sense as Peter Maximoff. The goddamn leather jacket. What character prominently loves to wear leather jackets? PETER MAXIMOFF. The sleeveless shirt with boxers is something Peter might chill or sleep in. The Halloween episode LITERALLY HAD HIM DRESSED AS QUICKSILVER. And the modern smurf outfit looks like Peter struggling with modern fashion lol. Ralph even had a watch on his wrist at all times, just like Peter does.
The personality. I saw people saying that his personality wasn't anything like Peters, and I disagree. I think Ralph had an over exaggerated version of Peters personality. He was a goofball man-child which is essentially what Peter is. Ralph stole kids candy and vandalized property and squashed pumpkins using his powers....sounds like something our mischievous theif would do with his powers, right? And we know that Evan Peters is a very diverse actor, so it isn't his acting abilities at fault here.
Environment and habit. Peter Maximoff would somewhat mooch off his mother, lived in her basement and turned it into a mancave. Ralph Bohner mooched off his fake sister while he slept on her couch and even had a mancave of his own, but instead of the basement it was the attic of his house. Both have very similar vibes.
Comic Relief. Peter was literally one of the only comic reliefs of the new X-Men movies which all took themselves pretty seriously, character and story wise. In WandaVision despite it all being immensely funny, Ralph's character was like a heightened comic relief compared to everyone else. Similar to a sitcom, it was all a bit more cheesy and on the nose with his humor.
The Nexus Commercial. It was essentially saying that Wanda is a Nexus being. Which means for the Multiverse, Wanda is the one constant in every realm or universe. And now its confirmed that she does have powerful Chaos Magic that can take and shape reality. So the possibility of a alternate universe twin brother showing up in her made up reality Hex wouldn't have been that far fetched.
Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness. It was confirmed and told right to the fans that WandaVision would go directly into the Multiverse of Madness. So assuming that characters who've already been established coming over to the MCU to cause some literal madness felt sort of expected. I can't be the only one that thinks having an actor who played Quicksilver in another universe showing up in the thing that was said to lead into a literal Multiverse movie isn't that crazy.
Powers. If one other person tells me that Agatha can literally give people superpowers because "mAgIC", imma lose my mind. That's so OP and the fact that she can grant people literal superpowers is never addressed annoys me greatly. Also if Agatha is so powerful, why couldn't she make Ralph at least look like Wandas actual brother lol.
The alarm. (I forgot to add this one until just now lol) When Ralph shows up at Wandas door an alarm goes off at Swords base that causes agents and Darcy to run around in a panic. Quickie fans and myself thought that indicated that something or someone, possibly Peter Maximoff had just entered the Hex. But the show never addressed the alarm again.
The creators and plot. Marvel knew what they were doing when casting Evan Peters, they just never planned to pay it off. Which is such a shame. Because this show was one of the coolest things Marvel has ever produced, it was enjoyable and super unique. But they have to understand by having a shit load of red herrings and plot holes with almost no payoff will and did leave fans rather frustrated. The Ralph Bohner joke is one plot thread that most can agree on, was an absolute let down.

Okay, Episode 6 thoughts. I watched it yesterday so this may be a bit rambly but bear with me:
-On Isaiah Bradley, I cared about his character so much from the first episode he was introduced. I hoped so badly that that wouldn’t be the last time we saw him, and I was so grateful for that. I think the best part of his and Sam’s interactions was that you don’t have to share someone’s perspective to understand where they’re coming from.
-All in all, I think their relationship was beautiful and the fact that Isaiah was finally recognised for his heroism was just 😘👌🏾 Not only did it give Isaiah just a bit of peace, but it also showed that Sam can in fact bring about change and I loved it.
-Everyone called Sharon being the Power Broker so I’m not even gonna talk about that. Kinda glad she killed Karli tho 👀
-Onto Karli. I tried. I really did try to like her character. At first I was just indifferent, cause I just didn’t care about any of the Flag Smashers anyways. But they were driving the plot so whatever right?
-See the difference between Karli and John Walker is how the plot presents them. John Walker is an arrogant dick with violent tendencies who does a couple good things sometimes. I accept that. But Karli is presented as this martyr who just wants to do the right thing. But her actions show that she’s ruthless in the name of that cause. We saw her bomb innocent people pretty early on, she was going to murder John Walker to make a statement, and at the point he hadn’t done anything to warrant that, but killed Lemar instead (albeit accidentally). Then she tried to murder innocent people AGAIN to make a point, and then tried to kill Sam -
-But then she shouldn’t be called a terrorist? What should she be called then? A person who terrorises innocent people for the sake of a political cause. The literal definition of a terrorist. How is she different from literally any other terrorist organisation on earth?
-Maybe it would’ve been a little different if I actually cared about the cause, which I felt the plot should’ve focused on a little more. I didn’t get to see how the displaced people were affected, I just learned the term. The plot tried too hard to make Karli sympathetic which kinda made me like her less. If you wanna give me a villain I can empathise with, do that. I can empathise with John Walker, or understand Thanos’ perspective, or feel sorry for Wanda, but don’t tell me a character is noble when she does everything but.
-Sam’s speech. Inject it in me focking veinssss. I mean I didn’t like the little Karli but at the beginning, cause like yes, Sam, labels are bad, but she’s a literal terrorist so what else should she be called? But everything else he said was yes yes yes. I was nodding to every word like a chicken.
-Bucky. I loved the montage at the end of Bucky and Sam, because it showed that he was happy now and had found peace, at least for some time. But I didn’t like that the scene with him confessing that he murdered that kid was just rushed through I wanted to see the hard part that led to the happiness. But you win some you lose some I guess.
-Sam as Captain America. Now, waaay before this episode I already said, there was a certain point where it became absolutely 100% crystal clear that Sam IS Captain America. He embodies everything that Captain America is and should be. And that’s one thing I love about these spin offs. Before this show I thought yeah, it makes sense that Sam’s Cap now, but he’s not Steve’s cap. But these shows delve so much deeper into the supporting characters and doing so made it abundantly clear that Sam is Captain America. Yes, him and Steve are not the same, how could they be? But he’s just as much Cap as Steve was.
-Overall, I think the show was great, and ended on a strong note. I think they could’ve done more to make me care about the Flag Smashers, but did a perfect job with Sam, Bucky, Sharon, and John. It was a stroke of genius making this before bringing Sam as Cap onto the big screen. And unlike WandaVision it actually leaves off in a place that allowed for a second season which I REALLY hope happens.
