#loki series rewrite project

so i've been seeing a lot of people ask "what streaming service would want to pick up a show that only has one season left?" and i think that's a really valid question
now i'm not by any means a media analyst nor do i know the inner workings of the streaming industry but maybe my logic could help alleviate some of that anxiety
ofmd has a solid and very loyal viewer base. the ratings of both s1 and s2 have proven that, especially s2. s1 already outperformed in every way by running circles around MCU projects like Moon Knight and Loki, left both SW shows The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett in the dust, and did exceptionally well for a freshman series when going up against existing IPs. now we know that that alone was what got us s2 with max, but even then max/WBD went and slashed the budget by 40% 😬. BUT, even with this limitation and the pacing getting fucked up by rewrites/cut downs for the last three episodes, s2 still came through and delivered record breaking numbers, rave reviews across the board with major media outlets, and outdid their s1 performance that max officially listed ofmd as their max original flagship show. the unfortunate thing however is that none of this made a difference, we still got dropped last minute when the bts crew was already gearing up for pre-production
just because WBD/Zaslav doesn't respect or see the value of the show, doesn't mean other networks/streamers don't. a huge reason why i pushed for apple tv is bc they're a service that i've noticed cares about letting a show do their thing and not as much about viewership. apple tv did get a lot of attention and money from Ted Lasso though, and it was their flagship show for the three seasons it aired. i'm sure their 45 minute per episode season 3 was granted to them mainly because the show brought so much attention to their platform, so i think they'd absolutely do that for ofmd too what with it also being a feel good rom com with positive messages
ofmd also has a huge social media presence. the most recent and very successful example DJenks could use within his pitch is the astroglide incident. within an hour of astroglide tweeting about ofmd, fans are already photoshopping their product into screencaps, editing them into clips, and drawing fan art-- free advertisement delivered to them just because they gave us some attention. the fan tweets with astroglide reached thousands of eyes and astroglide was trending. any service that chooses to pick ofmd up isn't just getting a fanbase that would save them some budget in terms of marketing, but also help them market their lesser known shows too. and Casey Bloys said so himself, albeit very tone deaf and for all the wrong reasons, the twitter gays are the ones who have the power to bring attention to a show (queer word of mouth is no joke)
sometimes all a streaming service needs is a show to push people to subscribe, and i think a lot of these services have good shows but no one is looking for them. ofmd fans are pretty good at browsing through what a service has to offer but you need to give them an incentive, as would any business, that makes them want to spend money. i just think that picking ofmd up is only ever a win for a streamer and it would be stupid of them not to
of course, if you want actual insider knowledge with stats and more realistic talks of what might happen (cautiously optimistic!), you know to check out thecozypirate and meowzawowza_ on twt

You find out you were right when Loki snatches you off the street. Able to see through his magic no matter what spells he weaves, he first tried to contain you, then to understand you. When he had to leave you, he discovered he was in love with you. Now that he has you back by his side, he'll do what he must to keep you safe.
A/N: I haven't been doing well the past few months, struggling with a dip into depression, burrowing and isolating along with it. But I’m climbing out, and rewriting and editing this chapter felt like a step in the right direction. I won’t make promises I’m not sure I can keep, so I'll stop saying anything about soon, but I am still committed to finishing the story.

Second Sight Part Fifteen
You lay on the couch in Loki's study, snuggled into plush cushions and decadent comfort. The furniture in all of Loki's palace was preternaturally comfortable. In what you thought of as the breakfast nook, even the wooden chairs at the table overlooking the shimmering nebula seemed to curve to your form as soon as you sat down. No matter where you sat, or lounged, whatever you reclined upon would itself seem to invite you to relax, the more horizontal furniture suggesting a nap. You had a very hard time refusing that invitation, especially when you were bored.
This minute, bored didn't begin to cover it.
Loki was buzzing around the room, as active as you were lethargic, his new project animating him. The energy wasn't positive, however, but edgy and fretful. He wanted answers, and every denial only heightened his frustration. Every obstruction became fuel for the fire that drove him. You, on the other hand, were half-asleep, a defense mechanism against the crackling shiver his dissatisfaction left in the air. First you tried to escape by reading, but ended up dozing in defiance, a book falling out of one hand and a small cube of metal held tightly in the other, in a fist next to your heart.
"Time," Loki said, seeming to appear out of nowhere, his sudden appearance startling you out of the beginning of a dream. You would have sworn he'd grumbled his way into the next room, but you'd only been half-awake at most and couldn’t be sure you hadn’t slept through his return. Though he could slip in between the shadows when he wanted to disappear from one place and appear in another, his pocket dimension was already between the shadows. He had not yet found the way into the shadows within the shadows, and so could not pop in and out as he did outside of his palace. Surprised, but still too sleepy to react much, you blinked up at him.
Loki had his hand out and his eyes on you, but he wasn’t seeing you, too lost in his own thoughts. In his furrowed brow and far-off gaze, you could see he was distracted by the calculations he was still working in his head. Despite his absent mind, he reeked of impatience as you tried to remember what the two of you were doing. He seemed to seethe for the brief moment it took to shake yourself fully awake.
You lifted your arm, the cube in your hand only a few grams and easily handed over. "Nothing," you said, smothering the indulgent smile that wanted to overtake your face at the sight of him frazzled and on the verge of disheveled, "not even a tingle." At least not from the cube; the look of Loki, on the other hand, had tingles of excitement beginning to ripple through you. Despite that fact, you kept your face neutral and your hand out for the next cube.
"Were you even awake?" Loki replied doubtfully.
"Barely.” You answered the question with a sneer and sigh of irritation. “But I know the difference between dying and dying of boredom.” That your hand was still out made you sniff in impatience, waiting for him to hand you the next.
He raised an eyebrow and dropped an opal matching the ones in the pendant bought on Alfheim into your palm before turning away in a swirl of bad temper. You couldn't explain why, but little revved your engine like seeing him surly and on the verge of mild violence. His temper was in no way directed at you, and somehow the cold sneer of frustration on his face only made him sexier.
Unable to help yourself, you carefully stripped your voice of any emotion but innocent curiosity and asked, "Any progress?" You made sure your expression matched your tone as you carefully prodded at his temper.
As he settled behind his desk and picked up his pen, he shot you a look as vicious as it was arousing. The more he snarled and sneered at you, the more you wanted to push his buttons. If you pushed him far enough, eventually all that frustration would turn into a passion that he would unleash upon you like a storm. You fucking loved it.
Loki's eyes narrowed as he took in your guileless demeanor. You were teasing him, and despite the aggravation climbing from the base of his spine to the nape of his neck, some part of him loved the endless paradox you presented. You sat there, smugly mysterious, no matter what effort he expended to solve the puzzle, or how complete your cooperation. To find his predicament amusing was simply adding insult to injury.
He would always wonder and never understand how you could so consistently set his temper ablaze even as you made him hard as iron. That he could see a twinkle in your eyes telling him that you knew exactly what you were doing made his heart flutter. Nevertheless, the fun of the game was in the playing. His voice cold as the world of his birth, his eyes molten emerald, he replied, "Even the elimination of possibilities is a kind of progress."
You felt like licking your chops, he was so delicious. His hair was mussed, tumbling around his face in defiance of the tie into which he’d pulled it. The slightest of flushes colored his cheeks in the heat of both vexation and desire. You waited until his eyes dropped back to the page in front of him before you spoke, the laugh under your voice almost, but not completely, suppressed. "So, no, then."
Loki’s eyes snapped up to toss a quick glare and snarl your way before immediately turning his attention back to his notes. You snickered, delighted with the progress you'd made in annoying him, and went back to your book. Converting Loki's irritation into desire was a slow, careful process. You decided to back off for the moment to let him simmer down a little before you added more heat to the fire.
Loki stared, unseeing, at the page in front of him, trying and failing to understand this new puzzle. He wasn't really making any progress. The thought struck him that loving you was yet another kind of double-edged sword. The things that made him love you were also the things that made you impossible to decipher. Even with the extra information he had gone back to Alfheim to collect, he still had a mystery on his hands.
On Alfheim, Loki had cornered the merchant that sold him the necklace that had hurt you so, determined to find out how such a harmless looking thing could come so close to incapacitating you. As it happened, he'd had a long list of questions for the being. Not least of which, he wanted to know why the merchant had said nothing about the possibility of harm, though he’d suspected it was because of the illusion that made you appear Asgardian while you were at his side. He couldn’t quash the hope that a being who encountered so many different peoples would give him some kind of lead on why you were so stubbornly magic resistant.
He hadn't told you about the trip before he left, figuring it was better to ask forgiveness than permission for what he might have to do. Really, he'd only had to terrify the merchant a little, had drawn hardly any blood, so even after his return, he'd seen no reason to worry you with the details of the conversation. They'd still been breathing when he'd left, if one counts hyperventilating in fear, and Loki absolutely did.
He knew you would probably be angry at the way he'd threatened them, though, which was why he wasn't telling you. He'd had to be sure that they'd told him the truth, all of it, and that had required more severe tactics than you'd accept. He wondered if he should feel guilty for lying to you about it, but he couldn't work up the energy. He'd told you that the merchant had been easily bribed, and you hadn't inquired further. He saw no reason to worry you with the dirty details, and it wasn't as though you didn't know him to be an unrepentant liar.
Regardless of the ethics of his methods, or your opinion on it, Loki was as close to certain as he could be that the merchant had told him the truth of exactly how and of what the necklace was made. Between the merchant’s dismay that the necklace had harmed you and Loki’s imaginative threats, he was reasonably confident that the merchant had answered all the questions put to them truthfully. Wanting time and space to systematically experiment, he'd dragged you into his pocket dimension to discover the truth. As per usual, when it came to you, the truth was elusive.
Which is how he'd ended up in his study, trying to hurt you to protect you. To prepare for the experiment, he’d dismantled the necklace, noted the component pieces and their amounts. He’d then acquired everything he thought he’d need, created carefully portioned samples to match everything in the necklace. He had to find out if it was some specific substance that was hurting you, or something unique to the necklace that he couldn’t see. Perhaps something that matched what he didn’t see in you.
But experimenting on you to discover what other vulnerabilities you had in addition to those that already tormented him was even worse than he’d imagined. Every time he had to hand you a cube of metal or a gem in the hopes that it would weaken you, his stomach would drop in dread that he was about to hurt you, that you would collapse into that terrifying weakness. Each time you failed to react, his body prickled all over at the knowledge that he would have to keep trying to hurt you.
He tried to focus on his notes, on the next items he'd need you to test, but all he could think about was the close call on Alfheim, all he could see was your sickly face as you'd sagged against him. His eyes were on the cube of Alfheim steel he had to hand you next, but his gaze was on his own terror. He wasn’t sure there was a way to make you safe enough to satisfy him. Still, his heart yearned to balance on the edge of danger with you, to share the shadows with you.
The safest place he could think to take you, and a trifle almost killed you. Loki would laugh if it wasn't so infuriating.
Loki looked up when your shadow fell over him, startled to find you had somehow moved across the room to his side and he hadn't noticed. Your expression serious, your eyes narrowed in concern and the corners of your mouth tight, you raised an eyebrow in question. Loki responded automatically, pushing back from the desk, turning his chair to offer his lap.
As usual, you immediately took advantage of his change in position to slide into his lap, holding out the hand that held the Asgardian opal he'd given you. "This one isn't doing anything, either," you said, as you dropped the jewel onto the desk in disdain when he didn’t immediately take it from you. You slid your hands around his neck and linked them, pouting into his surprised face. "And I'm bored."
While Loki had been brooding, you’d been watching him stare at the book in front of him in dark contemplation. He'd clearly been lost in thought, and those thoughts seemed to torture him. You could see that the challenge wasn't thrilling him in this project, that the lack of progress was discouraging rather than energizing him. Worried by the disheartened look all over him, especially when you’d been trying to rile him up, you’d hatched a plan to pull him out of his black mood.
When the testing period seemed to come and go and he still hadn't looked up from his unseeing stare, you took the opal back to him, determined to distract him from what was bothering him. Just because you couldn’t fix his problems didn’t mean you couldn’t take his mind off them, as well as take your own mind off all the problems you and he created for one another.
You looked over the desk, counted seven more items to test and smiled to yourself. Seven shouldn’t be too much of a challenge, even considering his preternatural control. Holding out your hand, you huffed, eyes sparkling with the thrill of beginning your game. "Gimme the next, then."
Loki leaned back and looked at you where you sat in his lap, suspicion narrowing his eyes when your hips shifted to slide your hip and ass over his groin, blood immediately rushing to the area in response. You shifted again, encouraging his erection, and he could see light come into your eyes and mischief trembling on your lips. "What are you up to?" he asked with an amused drawl and a raised eyebrow as he reached out to snatch up the Alfheim steel.
Your smile spread in wicked glee when he put the cube in your hand. "I'm making this interesting," you replied as you slid from his lap to your knees facing his erection. You placed the hand holding the piece of metal on his knee while your other hand worked at his waistband to bare him to first your gaze and then immediately your touch.
Loki's head fell back with a sigh at the feel of your hand gently circling his length. He smiled at the ceiling, unsure what had brought this on, but hardly interested in protesting when he was the beneficiary. "You have my attention, love," he murmured when he felt your breath on the tip of his cock.
"Good," you replied with a low chuckle, thrilling at the sight of him already giving into you. Your hand softly and slowly twisted around him as you smiled sultrily up at him. He lifted his head to look at you, wicked green eyes watching you with excitement tempered by a wary amusement. Your smile widened in response to the vague suspicion you saw on his face. "Because there are rules."
Loki’s head dropped back down onto the back of his chair as he huffed out a petulant sigh. "I hate rules."
You laughed out loud and placed a gentle kiss at the tip, making his cock jump in your hand. "I know," you purred, smug that you could have him breathing faster so quickly. He looked back at you, unable to resist watching you pleasure him. The sight of you kneeling of your own volition at his feet brought him more satisfaction than any other offered supplication of his life. "That's why rule one is if you break any other rules, we trade places."
"I accept rule one," Loki replied, grinning down at you. You laughed up at him, unsurprised by his ready agreement. You both knew Loki didn't follow the rules when there were negative consequences; this first rule was tantamount to inciting rebellion.
You bent to place your mouth back on the tip of his cock, your tongue flicking out to taste him, your eyes falling shut as you closed your mouth around the very tip. His eyelids fluttered in response to the feeling and he groaned in his throat as he watched you take him a little further into your mouth. At the sound, your gaze lifted to his, burning excitement incinerating you both. "The next rule is that you can't come until you're done testing what you have on your desk."
You whispered the words against the soft skin beneath your lips before fully closing your mouth around the head of Loki's cock and sucking gently. The wondering sigh of pleasure that escaped his lips made you shudder with lust, your own heart speeding with excitement. Stoking his desire always inspired in you an equally powerful need, the two of you alike in that way. Making the other moan and quake and beg was something you both found unbearably exciting.
You lifted away from him for a moment to speak, but your hand moved with purpose as you twisted it up and down his length, spreading your saliva over him and making him shudder out a breath. "Last rule is,” you gasped, your breath already coming fast and shallow, “I only stop if the something in my hand feels different." When Loki snickered and reached down to brush his thumb over your cheek, you shot him one last wicked grin, and bent to the challenge you'd set yourself.
You wanted to make Loki come before he finished his test. You loved taking control, making him lose his. The exhilaration you felt that you could, that he trusted you enough to turn himself over to you, was as glorious as any you’d found with him. Maybe it was cheating to expect him to realize he was still in charge of the testing, but you couldn’t keep track of everything. Besides, he was supposed to be preternaturally clever; you assumed he could figure it out.
Still, you were enjoying yourself nearly as much as he was, though his hums and purrs of pleasure made clear he was especially lost. While the current sample remained in your palm, you didn’t see any reason to rush. You held his cock in the hand not resting on his knee while you placed sucking open-mouthed kisses slowly down his length. Your eyes never left his burning stare as he watched you place the flat of your tongue against the back of him, lingering as you dragged it up his length.
When you got back to the head, you took him back into your mouth. Before you closed your eyes and sucked him deep, you raised your brows and tilted your head towards the hand that still rested on his knee. In the next moment, you slid your mouth down and over him, relishing the sensation of smooth skin covering steel. Loki cursed and you chuckled around him when you felt the other steel in your hand disappear to be replaced by a larger sample of metal. When it, too, had no effect, you focused on driving Loki out of his mind.
"Oh, love," Loki moaned, already half wild as his head tilted back in bliss. He loved the touch of your hand, the feeling of your mouth moving over him with teasing gentleness. His hips were trying to move but he held himself back, trying to keep command of himself. He couldn’t control both his hips and his breath, which shuddered out in rapture. "Your mouth is magic."
You hummed happily, the corners of your lips stretching in a smile around him even as your mouth began to move over him a little more quickly, a little more firmly, taking him a little deeper. Your hand wasn't still either, working up and down along with your mouth to push him higher. You hadn’t considered when you started this challenge that you’d tied one hand behind your back, so to speak. You were used to touching him more, had to get creative.
Loki's hands left the arms of the chair where he'd had a white-knuckled grip, holding on to his control. Lost in the feeling of you sucking him into your warm, soft mouth, his hands reached for you, cupping your cheeks to tilt your head toward him. When your eyes fluttered open to burn into his, he couldn't help the tiny thrust of his hips into your mouth.
You'd taken him deeper than ever before when you chuckled in response and the feeling of your laughter around his cock had his eyes blurring. He was doing everything in his power to hold back his climax, even if he could remember exactly why when your mouth and throat and hand were so diabolically working him toward ecstasy.
Despite how much he loved to watch you please him this way, his eye was drawn to the wiggle of your fingers around the cube sitting on the hand you hadn't moved from his leg. He could barely concentrate, the swirl of your tongue around the head of his cock destroying his mind, but he snatched up the metal in your hand and dropped it on the desk on his way to grabbing the next sample and giving it to you.
Loki forced himself to focus on control, determined to hold back until you had the second to last of the test materials in your hand. He wasn't going to leave you unsatisfied at the end of this. Even if he didn't love using his mouth to bring you to sobbing pleasure, he'd still want to show his appreciation for you. He’d been losing himself in the future and you’d brought him back to the only thing that mattered, the glorious now he was sharing with you.
Focusing on control, however, meant concentrating on you and what you were doing to him. You wanted to win, and you were doing everything in your power to drag him to the edge. The longer he held out against the diabolical things you were doing to him with your mouth and hand, the closer he came to delirium. The desperate need had teeth clamped around the base of his spine; only the strict grip he had on his body was stopping him from fucking your lovely face.
By the time he dropped the sixth item into your palm, he was sweating and on the edge of begging or taking, he didn’t know which. You had done everything you could think of, had whipped out every strategy you’d ever heard of, had exploited every weakness you knew, to push Loki to this point. His hands wrapped around your upper arms, his grip tight almost to the point of pain but an exhilarating kind. The kind that made your heart race and your blood boil.
"My love," he growled when you moaned long and low, in an almost whimper, in response to another of those little thrusts that he couldn't always control. His hands held you in place to rock exceedingly gently over your tongue. "I'm about to come down your lovely throat."
You moaned again, moving faster, insanely aroused at both his control and every little sign of its loss. To your shock, Loki was suddenly standing, the chair sliding out and away from him as he came to his feet in an almost violent burst of movement. His hands were on each side of your head in the next moment and you were dropping the cube in your hand to brace yourself on his thighs.
"I need to--," Loki cut himself off with another purr of pleasure as he began to slowly, easily rock himself in and out of your mouth. "Pinch me if you want me to stop. I swear I'll stop if you want me to…" he trailed off when you gripped his thighs and shifted to allow his cock to glide more easily over your tongue.
His head fell forward on his neck to look into your glowing eyes when he felt your hands moving to encourage his thrusts into your mouth. He didn't know how you managed to forever surprise him, but as he fucked your mouth with faster, rougher thrusts, you welcomed each as you stared with burning eyes into his.
Those burning eyes started to water as he pushed his cock more deeply into your throat, but you didn't retreat, wanting to feel everything, wanting to give everything, wanting to take everything. When a single tear fell down your cheek, you pushed yourself forward to meet Loki's thrusts and it was all he could take. At every line, every boundary, you always danced with him along the knife edge of anything and for someone like him, nothing in the universe could compare.
With a stuttering groan of your name, Loki slammed himself deep into your mouth, the long wait, the aching teasing before the rough loving finally wearing through the last frayed thread of his control. For the first time in what might have been centuries, Loki’s mind went blank. He could barely hear your pleading cry of desire, surrender, the tip of his cock choking you as he did as he'd warned and came down your throat. You swallowed and swallowed, your body wracked with arousal as you savored the knowledge that you'd made him lose control.
Loki looked down at you, his hands still holding your face, his thumb catching a small drop that had escaped the corner of your mouth. You turned your face a little to take his thumb in your mouth and suck the last drop from it. The sight had him shuddering with fresh desire as his hands left your face to grip your shoulders and pull you to your feet.
Before you could blink, you were sitting in the chair, and Loki was kneeling at your feet, pushing your skirt over your knees. He picked up the sixth sample from where it had fallen to the floor and threw it to the desk. Picking up the last, he turned back to place it in your hand. The next thing you knew, Loki was spreading your legs and hooking them over the arms of the chair to give him an unimpeded view of and access to the core of your body.
Loki flashed you a wicked grin before bending close to run his fingers over your folds and whisper, his breath brushing your overheated flesh, "Rules are rules, my love."
Tumblr media
A long time later, you and Loki lay curled on his study floor, naked and satisfied. Loki had thoroughly loved you with mouth and hands, bringing you to the edge of orgasm over and over until you’d begged for mercy. When he’d ultimately given in to your sobbing demands, the climax that took you was the most powerful of your life, leaving you boneless and breathless, draped across another of his high-backed leather thrones.
When he’d risen over you like the pagan god he was, your thighs had trembled, in trepidation or anticipation even you couldn’t be sure. He’d cooed to you then, in love and praise, before arranging you to his liking and sliding the iron bar of his erection inside you. You'd been sure your body couldn't climb to yet another peak, but he'd wrapped one arm around your back and cradled the back of your head in his palm to tilt your head for his kisses. With his other hand, he’d taken a hold of the back of the chair in a crushing grip and used it as leverage to pound into you. The burning focus of his eyes and the wild abandon of his surging body was something you rarely saw him indulge and never tired of witnessing.
By the time he came inside you with a roar, he'd pushed you up and over twice more.
You were deeply grateful to be done with the testing, at least for now, because you were completely exhausted. You wanted a bath, a snack, and a nap, in that order. As soon as you could find the energy to get off the floor, you were going to drag Loki off for all three.
"Did you drop either of the last two because they felt odd?" The two of you had been sharing a companionable quiet in the aftermath of so much passion when Loki's voice gently broke the silence.
"No," you murmured against his skin, smiling slightly at his ability to immediately get back on task after being diverted. You didn’t move your face from where it was pressed against his chest but snuggled into the arm he’d snaked around you to hold you tightly to him. "Nothing today felt like the necklace did.”
Loki sighed, and you heard the frustration in the sound, though his words had a sexy, teasing cadence. Though you’d managed to thoroughly distract him from his dark musings, the troubles that followed you both couldn’t be so easily dodged. "You know that means more tests."
You sighed in resignation, though the secret romantic voice in your mind sighed at the undercurrent of devotion. You knew he wouldn't stop, because despite his recklessness, he wouldn't be careless with your safety. A thought dug into your brain like a tick that he may never be fully content with your protection. You knew how your human frailty distressed him. Still, the testing may have been boring, but you didn’t mind too much, not now that you’d found a game to keep you both occupied in the meantime.
"Then I guess I better hydrate."

This is not good at all...
Insiders and nothing official, so take this with a grain of salt.. but it is brutal.
Regarding Kang and Loki:
“Marvel is truly fucked with the whole Kang angle,” says one top dealmaker who has seen the final “Loki” episode. “And they haven’t had an opportunity to rewrite until very recently [because of the WGA strike]. But I don’t see a path to how they move forward with him.”
So they might have to re-write the upcoming movies/series while it's all still filming. My, my...
The Marvels:
Directed by Nia DaCosta, “The Marvels” [...] resulted in four weeks of reshoots to bring coherence to a tangled storyline. DaCosta began working on another film while “The Marvels” was still in postproduction. “If you’re directing a $250 million movie, it’s kind of weird for the director to leave with a few months to go,” says a source familiar with the production.  In June, Marvel held a public test screening in Texas. The audience gave the film middling reviews.
I'm including a snippet from another interview here because Da Costa said this last month:
While some directors, such as James Gunn, receive almost full creative control for their MCU entries, DaCosta recognized she had to answer to Feige: "It is a Kevin Feige production, it’s his movie." Da Costa did not have full creative control of the movie.
Picture me extremely worried now.
The VFX:
At the world premiere of “Quantumania,” [...] “There were at least 10 scenes where the visual effects had been added at the last minute and were out of focus. It was insane. I’ve never seen something like that in my entire career. Everyone was talking about it.”  The schedule swap with “The Marvels” had left the “Ant-Man” sequel in a squeeze, pushing up its postproduction schedule by four-and-a-half months. Some final effects for “WandaVision” and “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” were inserted after their streaming debuts.
The VFX guys have so much work and Disney gives them impossible deadlines, to the point that the releases of their series arrive and they haven't had the time to finish their work. I'm so glad these guys are unionized now!
On Blade:
The project has gone through at least five writers, two directors and one shutdown six weeks before production. One person familiar with the script permutations says the story at one point morphed into a narrative led by women and filled with life lessons. Blade was relegated to the fourth lead.
Holy fuck, that script? Seriously? I bet they would have tried to sell that as feminist, wtf... 🤦‍♀️
Bringing back the OG Avengers. No, really:
Sources say there have been talks to bring back the original gang for an “Avengers” movie. This would include reviving Iron Man and Black Widow. But the studio hasn’t yet committed to the idea.
"We're not working on the new characters well enough and people don't like them! What should we do?"
"Should we write them better?"
"No, let's just bring the old ones back!"
There is one good thing though:
Still, there was one bright spot in 2023: “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” which became Marvel’s biggest draw of the year with $845 million worldwide.
Fuck yeah, James Gunn! It's almost like when you focus on the characters and you tell a cohesive story, people like it and pay the damn tickets to watch it...

All right, fellow MCU fans
So, after seeing the Marvels today, it got me thinking. Now, you probably don't know who I am. But I do happen to be a writer. Not a very good one mind you (several people would say otherwise, but shush, give me my self-loathing) Phase 4 (and the current parts of 5) is not that great. So I want to rewrite the Multiverse Saga. Yes. The entire thing. Even though it's not finished.
Very long blocks of text below. It's really the only thing that keeps me organized. Please read it though if you are interested. It'll be split up into sections, for somewhat easy perusal.
Now, I know this is an ambitious project, and one not done. I am no stranger to things like this, see my own game/show I'm making. (This is the only time I'm going to mention it. But I am pretty proud of it) So, for my very small amount of sanity, I'm stopping it at The Marvels, and Loki season 2 (Oops, still not finished with it yet). And I wanted to ask people what they thought was lackluster, or mediocre. Not the Marvel I and many other people grew up on. I do understand that it was flawed before, but when I recently rewatched most of them, I found that my childhood love for them had blossomed into something new. I was 6 when the first Avengers came out. I learned how to shoot a bow because of Hawkeye in that movie. And I think it deserves better, especially after watching the Marvels.
Now, this means everything after Endgame. So from Black Widow to The Marvels in terms of the movies, and the Disney+ series from Wandavision to Loki Season 2. I have a feeling it's going to take me a second to get through the remaining 5 episodes of Loki S2. My family wants to watch it with me, and they're all decently busy... Anyways, that's 10 movies, and 9 series. Although I don't accept Secret Invasion. Like at all. Anyways.
I have yet to decide what I'm going to publish this on. Probably A03, just because that's easiest for me. And I can organize much easier. Do let me know what you think.
So, before I get into the problems I've identified, feel free to stop here, and reblog or ask me your problems with the aforementioned shows and movies. I'm talking writing or character problems, as we've seen in the series. I am a fan of the comics, but you can divert from that, or stick to them.
Oh, and if you say something like "Make it more queer", I am a raging bisexual enby. I will already be making it queer as fuck, and can be convinced to ship pretty much anyone, if I can get a good reasoning behind it. Minors should be shipped with only minors. That's one of my few rules, if you send anything to me. So yeah, I'm doing genderfluid Loki.
Thoughts on everything:
This is just here so that I don't get a ton of repeats. I'll go movies first, then the TV shows.
Black Widow (2021) - Honestly, this is too late of a movie. Natasha deserved this before Endgame or Infinity War came out. But release dates aside, Taskmaster needs more screentime, and a chance to show how menacing they are. Natasha also needs more time with her family, and the parents need to be fleshed out a bit more. Belova is far too smart to be tricked by the lady in the post-credit scene.
Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings (2021) - I don't have any major problems with this movie. The Great Protector, or the dragon, and the supernatural creature, I think he's called Dweller In Darkness, kinda felt a little blank, and the Dweller shouldn't have died, only been pushed back. And I don't like Katy that much. Trevor is much better comedic relief in my opinion.
Eternals (2021) - Oh boy, where do we start with this one? You know it's bad if I can't remember any of the main characters names besides Ikarus. And that's because I was laughing my ass off at him throwing himself into the sun. There was also the Celestial I think it was? Anyways that thing broke islands up, and then just became a massive statue, and like no one mentions it? I don't remember much else about this movie, even after having watched it like 3 times. Oh, and the Ebony Blade was shown off. I like that if they can do something fun with that.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) - Dr. Strange feels a little shoe-horned in. The whole sanctum being overtaken by snow was pretty clever, but Strange being a father figure to Peter is not super well established. Could be fixed with a couple of rewrites. Or Strange and Stark being together. Peter is a dumbass, and the reason for him starting the whole plot... is so dumb. I understand, teenagers can be stupid, hell, I go to public high school, but Peter's shown he's a lot smarter than this. But I do like the crossover (Dafoe as Green Goblin my beloved) and the fact that the other Spidermen get to say goodbye in one last movie. Anyways, Ned's wizard connections need to be elaborated on as well.
Doctor Strange: Multiverse Of Madness (2022) - Alright, getting my biggest problem out of the way first. Wanda's corruption arc should have been shown. It should have been developed through the movie, and Wanda should have been with Strange and America. She can still be evil, and die after she realizes her actions, but this basically destroys the point of Wandavision. She was willing to say goodbye. Wanda has been a favorite of mine for years, and I read her comics religiously as a child. We need to see the power of the Scarlet Witch. What it did without Wanda. Her "No More Mutants" line sent chills down my spine the first time I read it. Sam Raimi directed this movie. Strange and Wanda should have had more horrific shit. And that one Strange with 3 eyes should have been the one from What If. We need horror in this. America also needs to be more fleshed out. I do love her, but we get like one scene of her being traumatized of basically growing up nowhere. Her moms get to stay though. I'm just going to ignore the last post-credit scene, because... that's setting something up I'm not sure of.
Thor: Love & Thunder (2022) - First up, Gorr has a great setup. He needed more screentime though. We need to see more of his god killing. They should rightfully be shitting their pants over this man. Thor leaving to save Sif was a good move, but that joke ruined the tension. She should have died there, proof of the god killer. Jane Foster is perfectly fine, and her arc is a lovely send-off. I would have loved some more stuff about the kids, especially Heimdall's. I don't even remember his name. He should have been shown doing something in Jane's return to Asgard, something that showed off his parentage. The meeting of the gods is a great scene, but there should have been people who spoke up, and then promptly getting thrown out, or even getting killed. Even more of a reason for Thor and crew to convince him. I think everything else is pretty good. Also Valkyrie is perfect in this movie. Bi queen. And her Loki knives are lovely.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) - I actually think this one just needs a couple of little tweaks. I understand why they couldn't have T'Challa show up in the spirit world, and Killmonger was great, but I still think something between the siblings would be good. Fuck, I love the funeral scene. It was a lovely sendoff to both T'Challa, and Chadwick. Namor seems a little rash though. Might just be the comics leaking through on that matter but I do like the Mayan inspirations in the movie!
Antman: Quantumania (2023) - I'm not really sure on this movie. I don't like Janet in this movie. She feels too secretive. She could have told them plenty, even lied that Kang had gone home. He'd gotten out somehow. Kang didn't seem scared enough of the others, but that might just be me thinking of that. Oh, and MODOK sucked. He shouldn't be a joke. But Darren could have done something else, because he is in there.
Guardians of The Galaxy V.3 (2023) - Perfection in every way. I'm not changing anything unless it involves getting everything I'm incorporating in. And the Christmas Special is also great.
The Marvels (2023) - Spoilers! Kamala needed more screentime, she just generally felt disconnected from the plot besides her bangle. And I also wanted a more menacing villain. That's been the problem with them recently. They don't make me think that they could actually beat them. I like everything else though. Flerkins were great as usual. I love these stupid creatures so much. That one scene was beautiful.
Now to the shows! These are going to be so much shorter.
Wandavision (2021) - I think this is good. No notes.
Loki S1 (2021) - Good, besides the Sylvie/Loki romance. They are siblings. I'm not sure if there's anything else that I really had a problem with. It's been a moment. Which is a shame. I love Loki (Also bi confirmation! I love it!)
The Falcon & Winter Soldier (2021) - I also think this is good, besides maybe having some problems with the villain. Bromance all the way.
What If...? (2021) - Also pretty good. Little self-contained story. I like the zombies.
Hawkeye (2021) - I also think this one's pretty well written. Macaroni is constantly referenced in my house. Lucky is also a pretty boy.
Moonknight (2022) - Honestly, god tier. Anyways, no one mentioned the stars literally turning in Egypt. But maybe it was just the people thinking that they were drunk as shit and seeing something.
Ms. Marvel (2022) - Second favorite being Moonknight. I also don't remember anything glaringly wrong.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law (2022) - Besides the tone of the show being inconsistent as shit, I think this show should have dove into some of the topics it brought up more. It just seemed a little surface level. Maybe a WWDITS style mockumentary would work better.
Secret Invasion (2023) - THIS ENTIRE SHOW SUCKS ASS. THIS WHOLE THING WAS DONE SO BADLY. I am not taking anything from this show
Loki S2 (2023) - Too distracted by another season 2 coming out, so I have yet to finish. I have heard it's good though. I've seen the first episode, and it's going pretty good so far.
Well, you made it to the bottom! Yay!
...This took me an hour to write. I did get the doc set up. And got a bit of an outline set up.

SLATE / MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
Banner by MrSteiners on DeviantArt
The slate for the planned canon rewrite, expansion and in-depth exploration of the ENTIRE Marvel Cinematic Universe.
This includes links to all the projects I've worked on thus far related to the MCU rewrite, as well as lists of what I'm planning on writing next (although, please note that this is always subject to change). And this goes beyond what already exists, as I plan to make high quality novel-length and novella-length fics diving into every corner I can of this big, beautiful universe — that are NOT always based on the movies.
INTRODUCTION
If you want to see the explanation for what and why this is, please check out this seperate post
There are four planned phases for this project:
ASSEMBLE
REASSEMBLE
INFINITY
ENDGAME
The first and second phases are the only ones where the fics in them have additional descriptions. The other phases have only their titles revealed. (See the series description for a rundown of all the major characters that will appear throughout these fics.)
1. All works that currently exist have links to them. If it does not have a link, I have not started writing it — and despite the order that everything is in, I might be skipping some works and circling back to them later for various reasons (mainly when it makes sense, I’m not going to write an Avengers fic until everything else beforehand is done).
2. This is the recommended order, but — unless it's specified — you can probably read any of them without spoiling any other work. There may be references or easter eggs, but unless it's substantial I will not list something as 'required reading' for another fic: start wherever YOU want.
3. If the work isn't bolded, it will most likely end up being the length of a novella (10-20k words). If it is in UPPERCASE, I expect it to be very, very VERY long. This is just an estimate however, and I just don’t know how far these things will go until I start writing it.
4. Lastly, EVERYTHING IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

OTHER WORKS IDEAS
If everything here is subject to change, these works REALLY are: I don't know if any of them will happen.
Betty Ross
Spiderverse
Civil War 2
Fury + Coulson
You may have also noted that neither of the Defenders series, Agents of SHIELD or Agent Carter (the ABC series) are present in any capacity. I have no intention to bring them in as I have never watched them and I don't know enough about them to include them. I am considering bringing in a character from AoS, but if it happens their role is very likely to be minor. I posit an idea of bringing these particular franchises in at some point... but this is very unlikely to happen.
Thank you for reading! Again, if you have any questions about it please ask me anything and I'll do my best to respond. In the meantime, feel free to follow me if you want to stay updated on this project.

Sylki Rewrite
Tumblr media
(Note: Although I don’t like Sylki, I don’t have a problem with anyone who ships them.) Warning: Internalized Homophobia Mention
Two weeks ago, I binged the Loki series. To put it shortly, I loved it! Loki has one of the best character development I’ve ever seen. He moved past his insecurities and realized what he truly wanted- to be loved and seen. The time aspect was easy to digest and didn’t complicate or overinflate the concept too much. I loved the new characters, especially Mobius and O.B. Mobius and Loki’s chemistry was amazing and so natural, which makes sense since Mobius was his first friend. O.B. was lovable and so nerdy. I hope they both return to future projects. Though I didn’t connect with her as much, B-15 was a good addition, and would be happy to see her return. When it comes to Sylvie, I'm mixed with her. She’s well-written for the most part, but I didn’t like the Sylki romance in S1, and her attitude got irritating in S2 (I'll most likely write a separate post on it). Alongside thinking Loki being attracted to a version of himself is weird, their romance felt rushed and unnatural. I couldn’t really see Loki being attracted to/like/in love with someone that quickly and Sylvie looked like she barely tolerated him, even in the second season. Honestly, I think this romance was pushed by Disney instead of the writers, mainly because there was a moment in Episode 4 where Mobius rants about how strange the attraction was. I’d like to think that was the writers calling out Disney for how weird this idea was. I would’ve liked it more if Loki and Sylvie had a sibling-like relationship. I would’ve written it where Loki feels protective of Sylvie because he sees a bit of himself in her such as his anger, loneliness, and wish to belong somewhere. But, he also respects her because she lived alone and in survival mode, teaching herself how to use magic and escape death. In turn, Sylvie sort of resents Loki, especially when he mentions his relationship with Frigga, since he lived in Asgard and had a family while she lived alone and in fear. I would have a scene where Sylvie lashes out at him (maybe when he accidentally breaks the Tempad), calling him a fool for taking his family’s love for granted. On the other hand, Loki snapped and said how she had the chance to be her true self while Loki lived under Thor’s shadow and Asgard’s expectations. Maybe go as far as to mention how he felt he had to hide his bisexuality and genderfluidity out of fear of not being accepted. By the end of the argument, both realize how their pain does not absolve others and that there is good and bad in their lives. Other than the kiss scene, the scene with Loki trying to stop Sylvie from killing He Who Remains was great.
I was so glad S2 left the ship behind. It was one of the reasons why I think S2 is a big improvement. I can’t really describe their relationship since there are moments when they get along but there are others when Sylvie is really standoffish and doesn't seem to like Loki. Maybe the closest description would be bickering siblings, which is close to what I wanted.
Did anyone else get nervous that there would be a Sylki kiss in the S2 finale? I was, especially when he was trying to stop her from killing HWR again. If they did, it would've messed with my enjoyment since there was no indication in previous episodes that they were continuing the romance. Thankfully, they didn't and the finale was perfect, even if it broke my heart that Loki will live alone for as long as he's alive. I wanted him to be happy with everyone.

The ‘Loki’ series as a metaphor for the state of Hollywood and the movie industry.
I was watching the ‘Loki’ series in a way that I saw it clearly as a metaphor for how Hollywood is currently. Mainly Marvel. The entire plot of its’ second season is *LITERALLY* about ‘destroying Marvel and putting it back together.’ You see Marvel ‘exploding multiple times’ and Loki ‘grasping at straws’ to hold it together. The ending scene is him ripping Marvel apart and putting back together as something ‘better’ as he carries on his back (*LITERALLY!*) Another character Sylvie says that it’s okay to ‘destroy some things and that there is no justice.’
In the beginning of season 1, he is forced to sign a contract and is held a ‘prisoner’ who is stripped of all his rights similar to how Disney makes its’ actors sign a contract that they can’t get out of.
*“What if I was a robot and didn’t know it?”* AI is a HUGE issue in the industry (Nicholas Cage in the Flash) and he wasn’t happy with how it was used.
“I’m going to write a little script of my own.” “I can rewrite the story.” Are also quotes that Loki says. The script writers for the show used a *BLACKLISTED* script from 2018 for the show. The main producer said that he was relying on Tom (Hiddleston) & Owen (Wilson) to improvise in order to ‘engage the audience.’ The script writer for the show Michael Waldron is a p*d*phile and a and such a bad writer that most of his ideas were scrapped and Benedict Cumberbatch of Doctor Strange 2 had to take it into his own hands and rewrite some of the script. Michael’s blacklisted script ‘The Worst Guy of All Time and the Girl Who Came to Kill Him’ promotes physical and sexual abuse. Things like kicking corpses and ‘jerking off’ over seeing certain characters being abused. Elizabeth Olsen who was also in the film clearly doesn’t like this creep and either does Benedict not Tom Hiddleston from the ‘Loki’ show. Yet the likes of Bob Iger rehired him after firing him (similar to the James Gunn situation) to write the next two ‘Avengers’ movies. He is a *CRIMINAL* and Jonathan Majors who plays a large role in those movies as the main villain is currently under trial for abuse. *HE* was cast in the ‘Loki’ series and the show was about him more so than the character of ‘Loki.’ The show was just to set him up and the organisation that he created in order to further Marvel’s plot for the next few phases of their movies while using ‘Loki’ and ‘Tom Hiddleston’ as their brand in order to get people to watch. *THAT’S* not even getting start on all the work ‘M-She-U’ woke BS and blatant misandry and abuse against male characters.
I recently finished season 2and found is *ASTOUNDING* that something with such poor production quality can possibly be the *THIRD* most expensive tv show of *ALL TIME!* It just boggles my mind! 🤯
In the behind the scenes ‘Making of’ video, the crew were only focused on how the show ‘looked.’ There was *NO* mention of the writing. That just goes to show that the ‘VISUALS’ are their main priority and casting big name actors to be in these shows. The acting is compromised due to them having little or no choose/power as to whether or not they actually *WANT* to be in these projects and it’s quite exploitative and abuse to be honest and leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Even the posters for the show are hideous AI abominations that look *NOTHING* like their lead actor. It’s *DISGRACEFUL* to their image & legacy! I saw a video earlier of AI generated voices of said actors saying things that they had never (or rarely) said. It’s uncharacteristic and could *EASILY* be used in a wrong manner. It’s quite disturbing actually. CGI dead actors and using AI to generate their voices to say things that they wouldn’t say is just *WRONG* without their consent! 🤢🤮
I love the movie industry dearly and am utterly *DEVASTATED* at what it has become. It means a lot so *SO* many people but greedy corporations such as Disney just don’t care and exploit it’s staff in order to continually keep the money-making machine moving with sub-par products which are made with exploited actors/crew.
Please Hollywood, get rid of these corrupt behemoths that are the puppeteers of this shit Storm who are exploring actors as their puppets! This goes beyond money! 🤑💵💰🫤😓😐
“Around and around we go again.” — He Who Remains
Keep the wheels turning.
“We have to say that we’re having the ‘times of of lives’ because the cameras are running.” — Tom Hiddleston
(The Industry) “It’s broken. It’s ROTTEN!”— Sylvie
“Never fear truth.”— Johnny Depp

hi i’m cas, corvu, or crow and i’m making this blog to ramble about my writing, both fanfiction and original, it’s all likely to be queer in some way so obviously dni if you’re a homophobe, transphobe, racist, sexist, terf, radfem, prolifer, etc.
here’s a list of things i’m working on in order of progress:
Teen Wolf
I Have Friends In Not So Heavenly Places - a crossover with Criminal Minds in which a hacking attempt gone wrong gets the attention of the BAU, Sterek, ongoing, 18/?
Vera Natura - a season 2 rewrite with an original character as Scott’s cousin, Sterek, ongoing, 3/?
Sterek Week 2017 series - 7 works
Marvel
Horns and Webs and Miracles - self-indulgent fic going for that 2012 avenger fic vibe centering around Peter Parker, Loki, and Wanda and Pietro Maximoff, ongoing, 2/?

Science Class is Canceled - High School AU! one-shot, intended to be part of a longer fic/series, undecided if it will be continued

Real Fake Psychic AU! and/or Fake Real Psychic AU! - after an incident Shawn finds himself getting flashes of things he should not be able to see or know, all of the sudden he and his friends get thrown into the supernatural underbelly of Santa Barbara while also trying to navigate their new abilities, Shassie, WIP
Danny Phantom
Uncanny AU! - Danny goes into the portal after his friends leave, but he thinks to put on a far more protective suit first, after realizing he can “go ghost” he also notices that the more he does it, the more it changes him in both forms, will have art, perhaps one-shot series or longer work, Everlasting Trio, WIP
Collection(s)
Bone(s) Storage - all Bones related
Was Such A Bad Idea ‘Cause Now Everything’s Wrong (song fics) - all song fics, multifandom, multiship, ongoing, 3 works

My Fanfics: Hannibal
I cannot keep things straight. I have 35 Hannibal works currently published, most of which are part of a series, and I can't finish those series because I keep coming up with new ideas that don't work with the old ideas.
The most recent one -
is a crossover with Heroes (TV 2006), which has Will being a Petrelli. He has a similar power as Peter and Sylar, and they're a set of empathetic triplets who cannot be permanently killed.
"Extended Invitation" is a multiple crossover with not only Heroes, but also 9-1-1 (TV), Dexter (TV), Six Feet Under, The Mentalist, MacGyver (TV 2016), Gotham (TV), and Psych (TV 2006). In that one, Will has a lot of family, and they're a lot of killers and cannibals.
I have several series 01 rewrites in various ways, most of which have Will either already recognizing Hannibal as a threat/conteder/killer/cannibal/etc. or finding out much earlier. He usually doesn't care, and sometimes he even plays a game back at him. There's even a time travel fix-it in the mix.
Several times, I've grabbed Bedelia and made her Will's half-sister, six years his senior.
I've got so many ideas floating in my head surrounding this program. I hope I can get them all written before my muse disappears and I fall down another rabbithole. Thank you for letting me vent to you today.
... i'm off to go read shapeshifter loki fics

What to Expect from My Version of Loki Season 2:
So I just saw Thor: Love and Thunder, which I will be doing both a rewrite and review for shortly! That means that directly after, I will be starting my version of Loki Season 2. After Love and Thunder, it will be Part 7 of my MCU Rewrites with Squirrel Girl. For this, I will NOT be continuing the TVA storyline. I figured Loki would’ve had enough of all the multiverse shenanigans. Instead, I’ll be focusing on what the Loki series SHOULD’VE been about… Loki!
This series will center primarily around Loki’s Jotun heritage and his complicated relationship with the Frost Giants. It will be a very loose adaptation of the 2019 Loki comic series. Some characters (including returning characters and OCs) will be:
Squirrel Girl (of course 😁)
Thor
Mobius
Jakkald, Laufey’s nephew and the now-acting king of Jotunheim
Irrthar, the royal healer of Jotunheim with a hidden connection to Loki’s past
Alia, a frost giantess and healer apprentice
Cignam, a frost giant whose wife and daughter were killed during Loki’s attack on Jotunheim
Lorof, Jakkald’s second-in-command who is not always sure of his king’s violent and tyrannical methods
Helvdurn, a soldier deeply loyal to Jakkald
DRRF MY BELOVED
FROSTI MY OTHER BELOVED
And more surprises!
I plan to start working on these projects right away, so stay tuned and I hope you enjoy! 😊💚

Disappointed by the shitty four-hour long setup for Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness and Ant Man: Quantumania otherwise marketed as the Loki Series?
Disgusted by how Marvel and Disney would much rather make a self-cest relationship canon before a homosexual one?

We've got good news for you!
Announcing the Loki Series Rewrite Project, where we reject MCU canon and substitute our own, vastly better fanwrite, which features such great hits as:

Zero unnecessary romantic arcs, self-cest or otherwise!
Zero blatant racism, queerphobia or sexism hidden under the guise of performative progressiveness!

There is No Glorious Purpose
DISCLAIMER: This is a Loki Show re-write which means I do not own the original show but some direct quotes will be used, it will not align perfectly with the cannon of the original show, and it will also be written the way I think it should have gone seeing as it was 2012 Loki who just went through Thor 1, Thanos' clutches and Avengers 1.
This is not a Loki/Sylvie or Loki-cest fic.
If you don't like, then please hit that back button and have a nice day. You don't have to agree with me, but I do expect common human decency.
For anyone remaining, please enjoy!
Chapter 1: Blue Time and Space
“Friend, I think there’s been a mistake; I am Loki of Asgard and you will regret this. I am burdened with glorious purpose, I stand at the right hand of Thanos.” The words were bitter in his mouth but then again, so was the bile that he dry-heaved up during his reconditioning.
“Yeah, yeah, come on.” B-15 waved it off, at least the letters on the helmet was the only thing pertaining to the person’s identity after they came through the yellow, rectangular prism. He watched her closely as they neared, fists clenched and fully aware of how far away the Tesseract had ended up. The cerebral recalibration the Hulk so kindly dealt him did nothing to deter him from his secret goal.
“What infinity stone conjured that?”
B-15 stopped, their own subordinates armed but waiting for their leader’s response. Then she laughed.
“No, no, it’s from the TemPad.”
“Pardon?”
“You’ll see soon enough, now, come on, I don’t wanna have to give the whole spiel again.” B-15 came at him. The baton-like weapon she wielded hurt. But he was Asguardian. He also had use of his magic now with the restraints in ruins. Twin daggers parried the baton thereafter. He came close to overwhelming her more than a few times but her subordinates always stepped in.
“Agh!” It was humiliating to be overpowered by not only a simple blow to his back but also to admit it.
B-15 smiled down at him, “let’s go, and reset th-.”
“Don’t touch that!” The soldier picking up the Tesseract and staring at it like a confused child paid him no mind.
“Ok, Variant, let’s go.” B-15 slapped something on his neck, his body involuntarily jumped the opposite way. He was dragged out of the sand and towards another yellow rectangular prism. Another soldier grabbed something that resembled an old Midguardian lantern. They passed behind him and he could not manage to twist his neck enough to watch them. Then yellow.
He involuntarily gasped at the non-consensual setting change, pain flaring in a memory. A shriveled stomach flipped. But… His brows furrowed as he soundlessly analysed himself and his sadir in respect to the surroundings. I can’t feel him… I can’t hear him.
The two soldiers carrying him wasted no time in dragging him across the floor of the large room. It too reminded him of past Midguardian styles…. But he didn’t miss the Tesseract being turned to the man behind the desk.
“Where is this? Where are you taking me?”
B-15 laughed from in front of him, “your trial, Variant.”
“Why, and what is that anyway?”
Next thing he knew, he was pushed into a room with a robot, “hello?” It said something before lasering his clothes off. He gaped in horror as his fine Aguardian leather was destroyed and he was left there in the nude. The robot smiled at him in some sort of sadistic glee as his scars and healing wounds were flaunted like war-torn cadavers against his unusually pale skin. The floor disappeared.
He landed. He folded. He panted.
“Please sign this.”
His head whipped up to the man he could barely see over the stack of paperwork on the desk. A gulp, a deep breath and Loki was the vision of regal honor. Silently, he noted that he had somehow been clothed and thanked whatever power granted him that.
“What is this?”
The man looked at him with an exhausted droll stare, “everything you have ever said.” He grabbed a paper off the printer and laid it on top. Loki nodded slightly, then signed. The world blurred.
“Please step through.”
“Pardon?” The room was slow to come into focus.
“Jotnar, please step through.” Jotnar? He hadn’t noticed his glamour having failed him. The sedir he had so ardently loved and utilized and developed was a small, twisted ball in his center. He was locked in a cage.
“Wha--how…?”
“Magic is no good in the TVA, now please, step through.”
A red-eyed stare remained on the agent as Loki stepped through the unconnected threshold. Nothing happened. Another bout of vertigo and he was being told and none-too-kindly to take a number.
“For what, what is all this?” His blue hands gesticulated some as he addressed the man.
“Take. A. Number.”
Loki grit his teeth but he stepped to the small machine attached to the stakes cordoning off where the line was. He stepped into that small, simple maze. It was another large room stylized after the later American, Midguardian twentieth century. Even scrapers looked better as they drifted in the expanse of space. He slowly meandered up towards the window behind a very loud human.
“My dad is on the board of Goldman Sachs! One call and your whole job is privatized! What even is the ticket for, huh--aaaahhhhhggg!” Said human leapt out of his skin and screamed when he caught sight of the large blue alien. Red eyes merely gazed down at him without much agency.
“Howdy, welcome to the Time Variance Authority,” the bulbous screens lit up and an American, Midguardian southern drawl spoke happily through the speakers. Loki turned his attention to the screens as something finally began explaining things though his entire being made the unanimous decision that he did not like the talking orange clock.
“I'm Miss Minutes, and it's my job to catch you up before you stand trial for your crimes. So let's not waste another minute. Settle in, sharpen your pencils, and check this out. Long ago, there was a vast multiversal war. Countless unique timelines battled each other for supremacy, nearly resulting in the total destruction of...well, everything. But then, the all-knowing Time-Keepers emerged, bringing peace by reorganizing the multiverse into a single timeline, the Sacred Timeline. Now, the Time-Keepers protect and preserve the proper flow of time for everyone and everything. But sometimes, people like you veer off the path the Time-Keepers created. We call those Variants. Maybe you started an uprising, or were just late for work. Whatever it was, stepping off your path created a nexus event, which, left unchecked, could branch off into madness, leading to another multiversal war. But, don't worry, to make sure that doesn't happen, the Time-Keepers created the TVA and all its incredible workers. The TVA has stepped in to fix your mistake and set time back on its predetermined path. Now that your actions have left you without a place on the timeline, you must stand trial for your offenses. So sit tight, and we'll get you in front of a judge in no time. Just make sure you have your ticket, and you'll be seen by the next available attendant. For all time.”
The workers responded to the screen, “always.”
Out of one dark order and into another, Loki thought and forced down rising bile.
“--Hey, I asked for a ticket and he didn’t give me one! I--ahhhh!....” The loud human was hit with the shining, golden end of one of those batons and literally melted into nothingness. Loki clutched the ticket between his fingers tighter.
“Next.”
He stepped up to the window and offered up the small scrap of paper. The next while found him bound in chains yet again. He knew a Midguardian courtroom when he saw one, and the one he was shoved into was more like a morgue.
“Next case, please,” the judge said from her elevated chair, heads above anyone else, but below three ugly “modern art” heads. How could it be that he could even miss Thanos’ disgusting chin?
“Laufeyson. Variant L1130, AKA Loki Laufeyson, is charged with sequence violation 7-20-89. How do you plead?” She continued. Laufeyson, how preposterous, it sparked an itch to kill the Jotnar king again.
“Madam,” he began with all his silver tongue, “a god does not plead.”
“Are you guilty or not guilty, sir?” She was completely unfazed by his appearance, much like her underlings.
He thought for a moment, “guilty of some offense against this Sacred Timeline of yours? Absolutely not. You must have the wrong culprit.”
A brow raised at him, “oh, really? And who should we have?”
“The Avengers, I suspect. I came into possession of the Tesseract because they traveled through time--undoubtedly in some desperate play to avoid my ascent as God Ki--....” He couldn’t feel Thanos anymore, so what was the point? Wasn’t… he… free?
“That’s quite an accusation.”
“The cologne of two Iron Morta--er, Tony Starks is quite difficult to miss. They are your Time Criminals.” He opened his mouth again to bargain; to survive but….
“We’re not here to talk about the Avengers.”
“No?”
“No. That was supposed to happen, you escaping was not.”
“Pardon? According to whom?”
“The Time Keepers.”
“Ah… the three faces behind you, I presume? Do they happen to be open for conference?”
“No, they’re quite busy.”
“Doing what?”
“Dictating the proper flow of time.”
“So then, what do you do, Madam?”
“Dictate the proper flow of time according to their dictations. How do you plead?”
The silver tongue was heavy. His back sent shocks of pain through him especially after the re-injuring the soldiers dealt. Chains often found their way around his wrists and never had it hurt so much as in the last year. He closed his eyes. He may have been able to assemble those Midguardian fools the way he had intended, the time traveling proved that, but what else was left for him? Just more fire, and lies, and deceit. I had so wanted to see Asguard again.
“The court finds you guilty, and I sentence you to be reset. Next case, please!”
“I raise an objection!” Loki opened his eyes at the interruption as the judge sighs.
“You may approach the bench.”
“Hey, there, blue-raspberry.” The older human man made a shy sort of wave motion at Loki as he passed with a folder under his arm.
“If you're thinking what I think you are, it's a bad idea,” the judge addressed the man.
“Okay, I'm just chasing a hunch.”
“Anything goes sideways, it's on you.”
“Okay. I feel like I'm always looking up to you. I like it. It's appropriate.” Loki knew when he was witnessing groveling. Norns knew he had to do it enough times in his life just to save his brother’s skin.
“Who are you?” He asked after the judge permitted Loki’s custody to the newcomer. Said agent was walking Loki around some halls. Vertigo viscously hit when he tried to remember every twist and turn.
“Oh, I’m Agent Mobius, by the way,” Mobius cheerily said as he shuffled the two into an elevator.
“And you’re not taking me someplace to ‘reset’ me?”
“No, no, no, that was the place you just were. Ravon--I mean Judge Renslayer can be pretty brutal, but I’m just taking you some place to talk.”
“To talk?” His brow raised.
Mobius looked up at his blue stature without a care in the world, “yeah, and we know you love to talk. Talkie-talkie.” A hand mimed a moving mouth. His brows lowered into a slight scowl.
“We seem to have different understandings of my persons.”
“Well, I am an expert on Lokis.”
“... Loki-s?”
“Yeah. You’ll catch up.”
“How long have you been here?”
“Hard to tell, time moves differently here in the TVA.”
He was led out again and followed the human past several large openings in the wall of the narrow hallway that lead down into double-doored rooms. One, he couldn’t help but step towards. Then found himself outside of the elevator again.
“Ope, can’t do that, sorry.”
He stared at Mobius who was now several yards away, “magic and time works differently here.”
“Oh, it’s not magic,” Mobius held up a small device in his fingers, “it’s science.”
“Magic is science.” Loki stated plainly as he walked towards what he assumed Mobius was indicating as the destination, back straight.
“Haha, ok, Loki.” The agent opened the door for him. He nodded in thanks as was polite.
“Let’s get you comfortable,” Mobius stripped him of his chains and cuffs, “have a seat.”
Slowly, he did as asked. He could have wept as his back was finally rested.
“Not big on trust, are you?” Mobius asked as he snapped a sodapop can open. He rejected a second that was offered to him by the agent.
“Well?”
“Trust is a twisted road.”
“Haha, nice one, let’s make that one into a button.” Mobius began fiddling with a machine on the table they sat at in the middle of the darkened room.
“If the TVA overseas all of time and space, then how have I never heard of you before?”
“‘Cause you never needed to. You’ve always lived within your set path; the story you’re meant to play a part in.”
“I live within the path and story of my choosing,” Loki responded bitterly on impulse.
Mobius laughed again, “well, there’s the lie, Loki, it’s not your story.” Mobius looked him in the eye as the machine projected an image onto the blank wall.
“So I think we could start with a little cooperation, hm? I specialize in the pursuit of dangerous variants--particularly dangerous ones unlike you. I’ve got some questions for you, and if you answer them honestly, then maybe I can give you something you want. You wanna get outta here right? So, we’ll start there. Should you get out, what will you do?”
Would Thanos know? Of course Thanos would know…. Of course Thanos would come after him for deserting….
“Take over Midguard, AKA Earth?” Mobius interrupted the silence, “finish what you started maybe? Be king?”
The simple answer slipped off his tongue, “I was born to be a king.”
“Happily ever after then? A nice feather in your cap?”
“Then the Nine Realms. Then all of space.”
“Ooooh, ‘Loki, King of Space,’ haven’t heard that one before.”
“Mock me if you dare.”
Mobius chuckled again, “I’m not. Honestly, I’m a fan; your biggest. I guess I’m just curious why someone with such range would settle for just ruling whether it be Presidential or Kingly.”
“... The first and most oppressive lie was that of freedom, and someone will always be above while masses lie below.”
“How does that one go?” Mobius had his nose in his paperwork.
“For nearly every living thing, choice breeds shame and uncertainty and regret. There's a fork in every road, yet the wrong path always taken.”
“Good. Yeah. You said ‘nearly every living thing,’ so I'm guessing you don't fall into that category?”
“All of us fall into some category.”
“Oh, riddles. Love that. Anyway, a sampling of your greatest hits.”
The machine whirled and he was met again with the annoying Midguardian heroes and his brother after they bested him in New York, “if it’s all the same to you… I’ll have that drink now.”
“That just happened,” he declared.
“It's funny, for someone born to rule, you sure do lose a lot. You might even say it's in your nature.”
“The last person who said that to me did not live long enough to regret it.”
“Phil Coulson?” The clip played and Thor’s “no!” rang out.
“Didn’t the Avengers come together to literally avenge him by defeating you?”
Loki kept his face schooled diplomatically blank against the small bit of triumph he felt rising. Yes, they had come together, a force to be reckoned with especially after Loki’s clever engineering of their test-run.
“Little solace for a dead man,” he said instead.
“Do you enjoy hurting people? Making them feel small? Making them feel afraid? Making them feel little?” Mobius looked at him with an expression all too familiar from a certain one-eyed Aesir.
“Your little games won’t work on me.”
“Uh-huh. Well, I think--.”
“I know what I am.”
“A murderer?”
“A liberator.” The memory of the Other’s lightning bolt sent a shock wave through his system. He was removed from them, but he could always be put back.
“Of eyeballs maybe,” Mobius scoffed and played the clip.
“Just look at that smile, you’re enjoying it.”
Yet another clip rolled and a wealthy crowd’s screams of horror rang out. He was the center of attention. No one in that moment had attention above him… but that blue still glinted in his emerald eyes.
“Did you enjoy hurting them?”
“I don’t have to play this game; I’m a god, you dull creature.”
“Of mischief? Right… I really see that shining through.”
“No, I don’t suppose you would.”
Mobius sighed, “let’s talk about your escapes.”
“You're really good at doing awful things, and then just getting away. This is one of my favorites.”
A plane’s PA system from the 1970’s dinged, “from the flight deck, Captain William A. Scott, Northwest Orient Airlines 305, on schedule to land in Seattle. Flight time today, approximately….”
The projection showed him from an outsider’s perspective on a plane, well dressed with his hair slicked back and shades covering his eyes. His past self spoke to the flight attendant.
“Bourbon and soda?”
“Thank you,” past Loki gladly accepted the drink.
“Absolutely. Is there anything else I can do for you, sir?”
“I suppose we'll find out, won't we?” A note was handed off to her and she chuckled only in social politeness. A clear misunderstanding between them.
“Uh, Miss?”
“Yes, Mr. Cooper?”
“You might want to take a look at that note,” past Loki leaned forward and whispered, looking the woman in the eye over his sunglasses, “I have a bomb.” Her smile dropped. The scene skipped to when he had emptied the plane of all other passengers and was back in the air strapping a parachute to himself.
“Oh, this is the good part,” Mobius whispered.
“See you again someday,” past Loki says, still politely as he accepts the bag of $200,00 USD from the unnerved flight attendant. He had often wondered how she had recovered from the stupid, oafish ploy; he did his best not to harm anyone but he understood how it could have been quite the scare.
Past Loki turned and walked toward the tail of the plane, “brother, Heimdall, you better be ready.” He mumbleed before jumping out and getting collected by the Bifrost.
“I can't believe you were D.B. Cooper. Come on!” Mobius moved in his seat in a way reminiscent of an excited toddler.
“I was young, and I lost a bet to Thor. Where was the TVA when I was meddling with these affairs of men?”
“We were right there with you, just surfing that Sacred Timeline. So anyway, escapes… and a little psychobabble. What is it you think you’re really running from?”
He held Mobius’ stare. Time Keeper’s approval or lackthereof seemed utterly arbitrary, and the agent’s “fan-ing” of him lacking.
“Enough of this nonsense--.” Loki moved to stand but was hit yet again by vertigo and back in the chair.
“Back in your cage. See? I can play the heavy keys too.” Mobius tapped a finger on his own neck.
“What is it that you actually want?”
“I want you to be honest about why you do what you do.”
“This,” Loki motioned a blue arm towards the projection, “means you have seen my life, yes?”
“Yup. Back and forward, and variant and not. I’ve seen it all.”
“Then you must already know.”
“All I seek is a deeper understanding of the fearsome God of Mischief. What makes Loki tick?”
“Yet you have seen my life and all variations of it.”
“I wanna hear it from the ol’ horse’s mouth.”
“The satisfaction of my own ends,” he finally settled. “Is this your psychobabble? You, the great arbiters of power in the universe.”
Mobius nodded, “yup, we are!”
“Yet my path, my story and my actions are not my own? A semblance of free will belongs to every creature.”
“Hahaha, good one buddy. Look, this one’ll fire you up.” Loki stamped out the pain he had only otherwise felt when he was dropped from the Rainbow Bridge. He stamped down it all. And oh, it was easy. Simple. It was his simpler state of being.
The projection changed to Stuttgart and the projection-surrounded square of kneeling people, “the bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power….”
“Precisely. I was... I am on the verge of acquiring everything I am owed, and when I do, it will be because I did it. Not because it was supposed to happen. Or because you or the Time Variance Authority permitted me to. Honestly, you are pathetic. You are an irrelevance. A detour. A footnote to my ascent.”
Mobius giggled and scoffed, “you done? You’re gonna start taking things seriously.”
His body tensed. But all that happened was a twist of a wrist and the projection changing. He was faced with himself, bound and chained in Asguardian restraints with his glamor intact and cheekily knocking his ankles together to fill the hall of the All Father with the ringing of the metal clanging together.
“If you hadn't picked up the Tesseract, you would have been taken to a cell on Asgard.” Mobius informed him.
“Loki,” a familiar honey voice said in the ringing silence.
This future Loki addressed the woman in beautiful clothes, “hello, Mother. Have I made you proud?”
Her face stayed grave as he continued with undetected fake cheerfulness, “please, don't make this worse.”
“This is the future?” Loki asked.
“Yup, like you mighta picked up, the TVA doesn’t just know your past, we know your whole life as it’s meant to be. Think of it as comforting.” Loki grimaced at that. Comfort? He did not know such a thing. The scene skipped and he recognised the dungeons.
“And am I not your mother?” A projection of his mother asked.
Future Loki chuckled bitterly, “no, you’re not.” Loki felt the need to claw off the blue skin.
“Hmm,” his mother responded, “always so perceptive to everyone but yourself.”
“And then the Dark Elves attack the palace, and you think you send them to Thor.” Mobius chimed again.
“You might wanna take the stairs to the left.” Future Loki says as most other prisoners are set free.
“But instead, you send them….” The image skips again and it’s to Frigga in the grasp of the hellish looking Dark Elf.
“I will never tell.” She declares before she is brutally stabbed and fades. Loki jumps up but only goes through the projection. He can’t help her. No, no, no, no. Another tick. Just another trick like all those in the last year! He would never do such a thing. He loved her.
“You lead them right to her.”
But why would he do that? He was spiteful but-.... No, the elf. Think, Loki, think! Ah, yes, the Aether must have been helping them and changed them to that form. But why Asgard? Why Frigga?!
“You’re lying,” he pants, “what led to this!? Where is she!? Do you have her?!”
“It is true. That's the proper flow of time, and it happens again and again and again because it's supposed to, because it has to! The TVA makes sure of it. And you did this to your own mother, Loki! What kind of monster does that?”
“I’m not a monster!” He shrieks, voice cracking. A chair slams into the wall. He does his best to compose himself but his breathing and heart rates are all still erratic.
“What led to this?” He motioned to the agent then the world blurs to the projected image of her dead face. Fresh pain spikes his back.
“Oops, sorry, only loops you, not the furniture. Now, why don’t you tell me, do you enjoy hurting people? Do you enjoy killing? Were you about to kill me like you killed your mother?”
He fixed red eyes on the blond nuisance, “I wouldn’t hurt her!” The stinging tears obstruct his vision, but he’s too prideful to wipe his eyes--or the society he had been raised by was.
The human met his hateful gaze, “you weren't born to be king, Loki. You were born to cause pain and suffering and death. That's how it is, that's how it was, that's how it will be. All so that others can achieve their best versions of themselves.”
Loki’s grimace was translated through his conflicted heart into an almost silent sobbing scream. A chitauri screeched as the projection showed the Midguardian protection force he had pissed off enough to coalesce.
But he wouldn’t do that to her… he wouldn’t… he couldn’t….
“What are you doing?” Loki barely registers the voice as B-15.
“My job. Is it yours to interrupt?” Mobius responds as Loki is still frozen staring at the wall, not even seeing the projection anymore.
“We have a situation.”
“Gah, there's always a situation. Don't go anywhere. And it was just getting good. Spirited!”
The doors closed.
Mother, I need to find her!
Escaping the room was easier than expected and the maze did nothing to deter his frantic heart.
“Hey,” he ducked down behind the desk the agent from earlier was manning.
“Hey, I know you. You’re the criminal with the blue box.”
“Shh,” he dragged the other down, “what’s your name?”
“Casey.”
“Give me the Tesseract back or I’ll gut you like a fish, Casey.”
“What’s a fish?”
“H-how do you not know what a fish is?”
“I’ve lived my entire life behind a desk, and I’d like to know what I’m being threatened with before I comply.”
“Do you not eat--death, Casey, violent and painful death.”
“Okay, okay, I comply, I comply, jeez.”
Casey leaned forward and pulled open a drawer of a moveable table, “this it?”
“Wha… Infinity Stones?” The stones, mostly green Time and red Aether or Reality, were jumbled together in the small space.
“Oh, actually, we get a lot of those. Yeah, some of the guys use them as paper weights.”
“The greatest power in the universe and you have them carelessly thrown about?”
“Well, we actually are outside of the universe AKA the Sacred Timeline. Pretty neat, right?” Casey’s musings as he stood up and presented another bulbous screen hanging from the ceiling were ignored as Loki closed his blue hand around the Tesseract. It was dim. So, so dim and dull and…. Lifeless. His jaw hung open.
An elevator dinged, “oh, you almost hit me, that’s so messed up!” Loki clicked the button and returned to the small room. Slowly, he pulled himself off of the floor, set the Tesseract down on the table and twisted the dial.
“Your birthright was to die!...” Future Odin gave future bound Loki a sadistic smile, “as a child, cast out into a frozen rock. If I had not taken you in, you would not be here now to hate me.”
“If I had not fully asked for true mercy, I’d just say swing it. It’s not that I don’t love our little talks, it’s just, I don’t love them.” He found himself muttering along with his near-future self.
“Frigga is the only reason you are still alive and you will never see her again. You will spend the rest of your years in the dungeon.” He moved back with his shackled projection. That was too far, even for Odin. A flash of a red cape and eyepatched face looking down and telling him “no” passed in front of his eyes. His finger rolled on the dial.
“I love you, my sons. Remember this place. Home….” Future Odin told both Thor and him as he disappeared into energy from the cliff Loki was fairly sure belonged to Midguard. A breath caught. What… how… could it be?
It skipped forward again, “Loki, I thought the world of you, I thought we were going to fight side by side forever.” Future Thor with shorn hair and different clothes regarded future Loki--actually regarded him. Had he died? What sort of trickery could this be? He gulped around the hope in his throat.
“Maybe you're not so bad after all, brother. Maybe not…. Thank you. If you were here, I might even give you a hug.” An eyepatched Thor smiled at his future, blue leather clad self as a glass liquor stopper was thrown.
His future self caught it, “I’m here.” He smiled at the sight, that’s all I ever wanted… to be your equal, brother. He sniffled.
His life skipped forward again, “undying? You should choose your words more carefully.” Blue features immediately smoothed out and drooped in horror at the site of the purple titan. A golden gauntlet endued with infinity stones closed around his neck. His future self writhed in the air.
“You will… never… be a… god!” He flinched at the cracking of his own neck, his future self’s body falling limp instantly. No! He wouldn’t let himself die to him! He watched helplessly as his future self’s body was dropped while Thor screamed. The power stone’s magic broke up the spaceship as Thor wept over him. Purple enveloped the screen and then “END FILE.”
“Hah… hah… hah… hehehehe,” his lungs spasmed.
“Glorious purpose,” Loki sneered to no one. He collapsed gripping the Tesseract.
“Loki?... Nowhere left to run.”
“I know. Will you be ‘resetting’ or otherwise doing away with me now?” He stared into the dull blue depths of the Space Stone’s container rather than bothering to look up at the human. There wasn’t an answer.
“I am tired, Mobius.”
Knees popped as the other slowly knelt by him, “listen, I can’t offer you salvation, but maybe I can offer you something better. A fugitive Variant’s been killing our minutemen.”
“So why me?”
“The Variant we’re hunting is, well, you.”
He lifted his head, “pardon?”

Thanks for tagging me in this post @tori-artemis !😊❤️
Three Ships: Frostiron(Loki/Tony Stark), I love their dynamic both in a platonic or romantic way - Deckerstar(Lucifer Morningstar/Chloe Decker) From Lucifer tv series - Ineffable husbands(Crowley/Aziraphale), I ship them in a qpr way.
First Ever Ship: Rhett/Scarlett from Gone with the Wind.
Last Song: Breath by Breaking Benjamin.
Last Movie: I watched Hotel Transylvania 4 which was bad. It was even worse than the third movie which is saying sth. Because while the third one was bad, it still had some good moments like the DJ battle at the end was really funny *takes a deep breath* don't start a rant on Hotel Transylvania out of everything *visibly restraint myself* Anyway, since I was disappointed I went and watched the other Hotel Transylvania movies again :D Because I really love Dracula! He always makes me laugh :)) and I needed sth light and fun to balance the heavy subjects I'd read.
Currently Reading: Cilka's Journey by Heather Morris(It's a sequel to The Tattooist of Auschwits) - The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood - The Rooting of the Ancient Tree by Bahram Beyzai(It's a research about the Indo-Iranian roots of One Thousand and One Nights and the similarities between its main story and the story of Zahhak)- I'm also beta reading the Loki Rewrite project.
Currently Watching: I'm not in the mood to start watching a new tv show. For now I'm just waiting for the next episode of Legacies(no it's not good :P :D ).

Loki was confused when he first saw you on the screen, his brow knitting as his stomach immediately churned.
For the first time in his life, he wanted to be wrong. Wrong about the reason why you were displayed on the screen, wrong about how his guts told him you suffered the same fate as his mother… Could it be that his destiny was that tragic?
“So, you know them. Who are they?”
The voice of Mobius interrupted his thoughts, shattering the cycle of anxiety that had started to spin in his mind.
“It’s none of your business, what do you want from me?
- Wow wow calm down buddy, I just want to understand what makes Loki be Loki! And they are the key to it all, right?” answered Mobius as he observed the god across him.
Oh how he was right, you were the key to his heart, his body and his mind. But he left you that day on Asgard, the day where he dropped toward an endless night, the day where he was supposed to die. He was still alive and you were mourning, fate was funny in that regard, it brought you together only to separate you when you needed each other the most.
“They are, they are special to me” finally spoke Loki after a pensive silence. His gaze was fixed on the ground, watching his hand, not daring to face you.
“Then why did you left her behind?”
That question hurt more than any torture they could have imagined for it was the same that plagued his minds during those sleepless nights.
He wanted to protect you, he really did. But more than anything, his pride had taken over him and now here he was, not even able to face your projected image without breaking down.
“I wanted them to be safe without me
- But you hurt them.
- I didn’t want to! If I could just fix this, believe me, I would.”
He got up, almost shouting and showing the slightest glimpse of the storm that was inside of him at your sight.
The agent in front of him waited for him to sit back down, carefully observing him as if he was mentally noting his every move, his every reaction that what was going on. When the variant or so they say was calm enough, he slowly leaned toward him while offering him his most friendly smile almost as if he tried to make himself appear as kinder than he was before.
“You want to know what happened to them?” he asked slowly, letting each word settle into the god’s mind, letting him slowly understand that you were his past more than his present. That he’ll probably never see you again.
“I’d rather not”
The words were short, almost acting as a self-preservation act for him, as if not knowing could give him the slightest hope to change things, to see you again.
But he couldn’t and deep down he knew it.
Loki was here while you only living in his memories. Golden, perfect, too good for someone like him and newly gone.
