・Jotun Loki has had a much better upbringing than the Loki raised by Odin.

・He has so much more vigor for life, and is much nicer to the general public. He wouldn’t dream of having to prove himself, or by taking over any cities or realms.

・Frost Giant Loki is actually one of the sweetest beings alive, you just have to get past the lingering arrogance of a prince.

・Likes to show you off; “Hey Thor, have you met y/n?”    “Yes Loki, we have had the pleasure of meeting.” “How amazing is she? I mean -”

・He makes sure that you’re always safe, because you are very very small compared to him

・Always making sure you’re having a good time, no matter where you are “We can leave if you no longer desire to be here, my love.”

・Fun-loving and always wants you to have a smile on your face

・You met at a wedding you were working at. Thor and Jane (in this universe) were getting married and you were employed to serve the food and drinks.

・It was verging on ridiculous, how much food had been prepared. Even though Loki and only a few of his close companions were the only frost giants at this event, they had overcompensated for their food and drinks.

・Your first encounter with him was surprising; he was flirtatious but mindful. Knowing that humans were much more fragile than he.

・However, he was a prince, and you were expected to treat him as such. But there was something so enticing about him that you wanted to be in his presence more and more.

・The venue where the wedding was held, also fronted as a restaurant. And whenever Loki visited Thor, that’s where he insisted on going.   “Loki, why is it always this place? There are many other food vendors we can try!”        “I ... really like the pasta...”

・Jane caught on, Thor was oblivious. “Ask. her. out.” Jane had prompted. Loki’s cheeks darkened; a prince embarrassed.

・He did not want to scare you away, but Jane insisted he needed to be the one to talk to you.

・And he did, somehow getting your number but not being 100% what to do with it. Since the technology wasn’t the same in his world. And yet, that was the great thing about having a scientist friend. Jane made a way for you to communicate from your differing realms.

・You were stunned; caught off guard that you would even be considered. Since you came from two COMPLETELY different worlds. But it worked. Somehow, weirdly enough it worked.

・You usually sleep on him. It’s like having the cold side of the pillow always. And it actually helps with headaches

・Likes it when you stroke his face

・He makes a lot of inappropriate jokes

・Likes to take you to his realm, his home. He also likes showing you the other realms; making you feel so amazed at this life.

・Teaches you about his culture and how he grew up “Yes, and they actually throw you over the cliff to see-” 

“Loki! No! Did they really?” 

 “No, but I do like seeing that look on your face darling.”

・You guys get creative ... you have to, I mean Jotun Loki is huge and it is physically impossible for him to be inside you.

・BUT, I do think that Jotun Loki would approach a witch or wizard/warlock, maybe even Doctor Strange, to make him a potion that allows him to shrink to human size. He still has his physical attributes of blue skin, red eyes etc. But the potion allows him to shrink as much as he can (which is to 6′9, compared to his usual 10′)

・The potion worked for only a limited time...but that didn’t matter. Even though vaginal sex was great, you and Loki came up with ideas to keep both of you satisfied.

・There’s a lot of rubbing, humping, and toys involved.

・Frost giant Loki likes to make you laugh during sex - you’ll be in the heat of the moment and he’ll lick inside your ear.

・Oh he does like licking though, just licking everywhere ...

・Everything feels amplified because not only is a giant, but his temperature is also cooler. It makes your nipples so hard, and he loves playing with them. Sometimes it feels torturous, how hard and sensitive your nipples get.

・Loves dirty talk; he’s very good at it. Sometimes he can get you to cum just by talking

・He’s a louder moaner, and it’s so awkward when he’s at your place. Your neighbours give you weird looks - well even weirder looks as your boyfriend is blue

Loki is a Frost Giant

I tend to forget that and I think the fandom does too.

He could be so powerful if he used his abilities as a frost giant mixed with his magic. But he doesn't. He doesn't like that part about himself so he hides it from everyone, even from himself. He ignores it, hoping it will go away. Just like a scared little kid closing his eyes to make the monsters disappear.

It's so poetic. A character that was presented to us as driven by his seek of power, draws the line at accepting the truth, accepting he is a frost giant, accepting he is not Thor's brother.

Timeline: unknown

Note: since I'm in my room, blocked with an unknown kitten on my lap (we found her on the street this morning) let's see If I can write something themed for our favourite God of Mischief; enjoy ~

"what's that...black ball of fur?" is the first thing he said to you when he found that you have a female cat on your home on Midgard

you introduced your adult cat to him and you make both of them promise that they will be kind to each other

"little one, this is Loki. Be gentle with him."

"she's hissing at me? how dare you."

he pointed a finger to the cat and she slapped it with his paw

they have the same energy but they don't seem matching

it's just the first impression, it will get better with time

your cat loves waiting for Loki around corners and attach to his long robe to play and bite his coat

that's why he doesn't want you to bring your cat to Asgard

at the very beginning Loki wasn't used to the animals of Earth and everything is strange for him

"Loki, you have a wolf and a giant snake as a pet, and you find strange dealing with mine?"

"My pets are perfectly fine, is your cat that is unpredictable."

all of the clothes that he leaves around ended up covered in fur and full of little bites holes

Loki's body is cold because of his Frost Giant nature, so your cat doesn't like to go to sleep on him

but sometimes when he's studying beside the fire, she might decide to make the loaf on Loki's desk

of course, on his document and the books he was reading (after throwing to the ground everything she can just because)

he cannot stop himself to try little magic tricks on your cat when you're not in the room

one time he transformed her into a panther

"she's more fierce like this, and she's going to protect you better, that little ball of fur can't to nothing except hissing and biting my clothes."

"...alright I'll transform her back."

Loki's hand's are constantly covered of scratches and little red marks

after some times, one day you'll find them playing together with a strip of green fabric

you didn't interrupt the moment, you just look at them from the slightly open door

he was smiling so kindly and with a sincere tone on his voice, you perfectly know that Loki loves animals

he's even making her play creating small fireworks from his hand, and the cat is trying to chase them like soap bubbles

one day you'll hear Loki's voice calling from the other room because he needs to show you something

he was so proud to show you that your cat decided to fall asleep on his lap

"what can I say, everyone loves me...after a long period of disapproval."

from that day, she was purring everytime he saw him and the officially became friends

also Frigga find herself in love with that "exotic animal" you brought on Asgard

surprisingly after a couple of months he came back home with a little white kitten

"Loki, what's that?" you asked tenderly

"I thought she needed a little sister..."

so, at the end of the story, he has two little ball of fur and his girlfriend sleeping on him while he's trying to read

at least you will keep him warm

thank you so much for the support on the previous part of my Loki bf headcanons!! I didn't expect at all to be that liked. Here is the second part of my headcanons.

Be certain he will travel the multiverse if something happened to you. He doesn't want another close person of his to be hurt, or even worst, dead. He's had enough of it.

He's a decent cook! Since Mobius has kids, he'll probably teach Loki how to cook, so he can surprise you with great homemade waffles!

Spoiler: he cooked them very well, but he almost burnt the kitchen...

Are you cold? No problem. As the gentleman he is, he'll place his brown coat on your shoulders. "Better, little one?" *smiles*

He will probably break some TVA rules and take you out on dates in different realities. Your most recent one was in a 80's disco, situated in New York.

Loki gives the most reassuring hugs someone could ask for. Marvel probably forgot he is a Frost Giant, so his body is technically cold; but, to you, they're the warmest hugs in the world. His arms will cling you to his chest, nuzzling his nose into your hair. Leaving little kisses all over your scalp.

Both of you share emerald green rings that have in the inner part of them an engraved phrase: "Sun is shining on us for the enternity".

After he made the decision to sacrifice himself and become the God of Stories, he had to leave you. Not because he wanted it, he had to. It's different. Don't worry. He's watching over you, in every universe, making sure you are living the life you deserve. Leaving you was the hardest decision he has made in his life.

Yet, he'll always cherish those heartful moments in his heart.

There’s zero chance Loki and Hela having so many similarities is just a coincidence. And even though we’re most definitely never getting a full explanation for it, I’m so curious as to what you guys believe the reason is. Do you think:

a.) Loki’s a shapeshifter who can see people’s memories when he touches them. So when Odin picked him up as a baby, he saw Hela in Odin’s mind and shifted himself to resemble her.

b.) Loki and Hela have the same biological mother.

c.) Hela is Loki’s biological mother.

d.) Odin changed Loki to look like Hela when he first held him, because he missed her.

e.) Hela’s biological mother is jotun, and she and Loki both have black hair/pale skin/green aesthetic/etc because that’s just what frost giants look like when they take an asgardian form.

f.) Hela and Loki are both adopted, both children of Laufey. Odin took Hela centuries earlier, then when he realised Laufey’d had another child, he took Loki too.

**I’ve listed these in order from the ones I find most likely to least likely, if you’re curious. Tell me which headcanon you prefer, I wanna see.

I've seen headcanons where Mobius and the others get Loki back from the End of Time and Loki's physically weak from being there for so long. But I raise you: Loki's physically fine he's just weird.

He's never quite sure what has happened yet and what hasn't or what's in the right universe. What do you mean you haven't seen the 10th season of Game of Thrones? What do you mean there's no Out-and-In Burger?

He's a battery. A physical indicator of the state of the multiverse. He already didn't need rest or food as much as the average person but now he really doesn't. Eating food and sleeping is just to give the multiverse more energy when he's away.

That being said he sleeps with his eyes open.

Insomnia.

He likes the key lime pie. (Sort of. Okay he still hates it, but he actually eats the entire thing this time.)

Never quite sure whether or not he's looking at you and seeing you or he's seeing something else. He'll give you his full attention but it's like he has one foot in another room. (He does)

The inside jokes no one has any context for. He still thinks they're hilarious even if no one else experienced those centuries/universes.

Not sure how old he is. Might not have an age anymore.

Knows where EVERYTHING is in the TVA. Don't know where x file is? Ask Loki. Will stop time to go look for your lost pen.

Not a weird hc, but he doesn't use time-slipping that much. He can do it, he just doesn't like to. He will however use it to win a stupid argument/prove himself right. Mobius hates this.

Abnormal body temperature. He was already unusually cold because of his frost giant heritage but the more energy he uses to maintain the multiverse the colder he gets.

headcanon: often jotnar wear clothes that'd camouflage with the environment, not solely due to danger, but due to past trauma of the aesir coming to invade them in the past, so the older generations passed on this tradition to the newer ones. The only ones not dressing in clothes that camouflage are royalty, since they're the ones representing jotunheim and are supposed to stand out :] Only places the jotnar use clothes with no worry of colors is inside their cities

i just adore the idea of jötnar in all whites and blues. especially if the planet really is a huge expanse of snow and mountains, can you imagine how exposed you'd feel in dark colors? plus it would make it incredibly easy to spot any aesir invasions, because who else would have the audacity to approach the city wearing bright colors?

Uhh...well this post turned out really weird. I don't even know what this is lol. First part is more meta, and second part is more headcanon. I just really needed to get these thoughts out of my head :D

I still couldn't get over the fact that Odin had planned and gifted both Hela and Thor with a powerful artifact(Hela's helmet and Mjolnir) and decided to later gave them one more(Gungnir) for ruling, and yet he gave Loki nothing. It really showed how Odin viewed Loki among all his three children and preferred to ignor him. He seriously went from telling the brothers that both of them were born to be kings but only (heavily implied the worthy) one could ascend to the throne(which basically made sure that these brothers are going to compete for it), to giving Thor Mjolnir, then the throne and Gungir would have come with it, making Thor the most powerful he could be and in the brothers' eye the worthier and the winner("This was to be my day of triumph"), and yet he expected Loki to be ok with it? To not try desperately to figure out why Thor was favored while it was Loki who was the more thoughtful one, who understood ruling better? And then people wonder why Loki was jealous of Thor. And you know what? He had every right to be envious of Thor because how Odin treated Loki was so damn unfair.

Then I realized actually this is not completely true. Odin did in fact plan to give Loki a powerful artifact.

The day he showed the Casket of Ancient Winters to the boys, just as he had showed Hela the helmet when she was a kid. The time he talked about "evil Frost Giants", never bothered to correct Thor that they weren't monsters, scared Loki of his own race and people to the point that he asked whether the Frost Giants still live. And then told them that they were both born to be kings, but only one can ascend to the throne of Asgard. The other gets the throne of "monsters" he was meant to as a puppet king under Asgard's control, bringing their treasure back and remake what Odin had destroyed years ago.

We never found out when these plans didn't matter anymore. Was it before or after Jotunheim? Or did Odin have another reason? Could it be that he was so afraid of Loki's power he preferred not to encourage him for his magic, or give him anything that could make him stronger? After all "a king must tame his threats to ensure they fight for him".

This line of thought made me question sth else. What Odin was talking about when he mentioned "threat" to Hela and showing her the helmet? We know he was talking about Fenrir and implying it about Hela too. But why did he mention taming a threat and showing her a helmet that clearly made her upset and uncomfortable?

Now we get into the more headcanon-y part.

Let's go back in time a little and observe some Asgradian choices in fashion, weapons and politics during centuries.

This is Bor, father of Odin with horns on his helmet and Gungnir in his hands, killing the dark elves. Bor later was considered a hero for basically genocide.

Odin Borson. His helmet has some considerable changes from Bor. It has horns and wings and Hela's helmet. He is standing alone with Gungnir.

Later Odin has given Hela the helmet and conquers the realms with her help, following his father's steps to more extremes.

I assume during their conquests Odin made the Dwarfs build Mjolnir and gave it to Hela.

Then he stops at the nine realms, banishes Hela and keeps Mjolnir with all other stolen relics in Asgards' vault.

He later gives Mjolnir to Thor. But that's not the only thing Thor inherits from him.

Thor's helmet carries the wings of Odin's, and Loki's helmet bears the horns.

(Which is a nice symbolism for the roles of golden child and scapegoat Thor and Loki have in their family dynamic but I digress). He has basically divided all he had between his three children. The helmets of his three kids together make his original helmet in the mural.

What I was trying to get at with this, is that since Odin didn't wear the helmet after Hela and was keeping it in the vault, and referring to it as sth related to a threat, I headcanon that the helmet originally didn't belong to him and he got it from the someone else during a battle as he tends to steal powerful objects from people he defeats. Considering Hela's reaction she probably knew the story behind it. We've seen Odin likes to tell the stories of his wars to his children while showing them the trophies.

So who was the original owner of Hela's helmet? And why Odin had decided to give it to Hela? This implies he was sure Hela could use the Helmet's power, but why? Well, I have another headcanon :D What if the original owner of the Helmet was Hela's mother? Hela never mentions her mother, and she knew the helmet was going to be hers and wasn't happy about it. Odin could have taken it from his first girlfriend and killed her or imprisoned her, telling Hela that her mother was an enemy, to make sure she never talks about her or questions Odin. This also fits well with my other headcanon that Hela's Loki mother :D Because a child who had inherited her mother's magic and Jotun's powers could be exceptionally powerful and Odin had to tame that threat.
