I don’t post a lot of my own thoughts on here even if it is my own tumblr because usually I want to make my tumblr easy to read for artwork and there is a lot on everyone’s dashboard. I want to have a shoutout to the people who have followed me for over several years now and the people who enjoyed a lot of stuff even if it wasn’t something you liked. As for the anatomy, It’s actually kinda complicated to explain but I’ll try and break it down into something logical 😭

so, I’m pretty sure you’ve noticed that my art consists a lot of funny little shapes, round, pointy, and all the sorts because the minute I learned to get comfortable with my shapes a few years back, I basically got obsessed 😭

i was kinda scared to be more expressive with shapes at the time because I thought it would make my drawing look ugly, or that it never suited my artstyle the way it suited other people’s

then little by little, starting with nose shapes, I began doing it more freely until I have whatever artstyle I’m settled on now!

In my bodies, there’s always one dominant shape that you’ll notice and it’s usually either a square, a circle, or somewhere in between, and it usually depends on the body type

but the dominant shape I take can effect the rest of the body parts

for example, if the dominant shape’s a square, you’ll notice how the chin might take on that shape, and partially the face too, as for the chest and shoulders and even the hands. If it’s a circle, you’ll notice the cheekbones aren’t prominent at all and in general, the features tend to look soft/squishy, and so on and so on

(Example for hands and how they can vary)

(Example on facial features and the different shapes they can take, nose types, chin types etc. and how the cheekbones can be more prominent in some characters)

To clear it up a little, I don’t mind either sides, platonic or nonplatonic actually as I see reasons as to why people like this side and that one, but when I do choose to draw/consume content that involves them, I prefer that the sibling love is separated from the nonplatonic love, so that when I do draw/consume content of them, the two separate kinds of love never mix and never should mix (even as a huge multishipper that I say I am, reaching that point makes me highly uncomfortable 💀)

I’m pretty sure their moments on screen captured a lot of our hearts (yes I’m still crazy for them), so I like seeing their bond portrayed in different ways with all the different possibilities and how people viewed each and every one of their interactions

That’s why most (I think all) my previous art of them has been mild with nothing suggestive, and you can easily interpret it as platonic depending on your own preference because I’m often stuck in the gray area in between where I just wanna see them care for each other and do all sorts of silly activities like going to the fair or trying different mortal things or Loki meeting Love one day and being the realest uncle ever, and all the sorts of things they’d do together as a duo and just genuinely feeling happy and not diE OVER AND oVER AGAIN-
