Steve had heard a lot about Billy before he ever met him.
The Hargrove’s had arrived during Shabbat so Steve was busy trying to wrangle his dyslexia into actually reading Hebrew for once while Hargrove was making his unforgettable impression on everyone. Still, Jonathan Byers and Dustin Henderson went to his Shul so Steve felt like he already knew the guy by the time Monday came knocking.
The way Henderson described him was like a cartoon monster, probably because he’d already developed a crush on his kid sister. The way Byers described him was almost with a quiet admiration. A guy flagging in small town Indiana had a lot of balls.
Hargrove was hot. Naturally. Almost scarily blonde, kind of like Jason Carver. Definitely Catholic. Could definitely ruin Steve’s life if he put his mind to it.
They didn’t officially talk until Halloween. Steve wasn’t drunk but he was one of the few. Tommy had been trying to get him to eat pork for a solid hour. Because it was so funny that Steve had religious dietary restrictions when they were all hammered.
Hargrove rolled his eyes and told Tommy to knock him off. He was about three inches shorter than Steve but he felt taller. Judging by the tightness of his leather pants, he’d been blessed by God in more than just his angelic good looks. That is, if the Christian God made angels who swayed slightly on their feet and were at the point of the night where everything smelled kind of old boots.
They ended up just talking. Nancy had gone god knows where after dumping his ass for Byers, Steve was pretty bummed after the sudden collapse of a year long relationship, even if he was slowly realising that he was gay, and Hargrove was happy to just have a chat. They debated the merits of Indiana Jones vs James Bond, then Steve drove him home.
The Hargrove house was absolutely fucking terrifying. Externally, it was just a fairly average place for a working class family of four but the confederate flag on Neil Hargrove’s pickup truck gave Steve pause. As did the old belt hanging out the back. Spikes attached.
Billy crashed at Steve’s instead. He said several lewd things about a mixture of girls and boys from Hawkins High, attempted to write a poem about Steve’s ass then promptly passed out and started snoring.
So. Billy Hargrove liked guys. Steve also liked guys. It wasn’t weird. Not unless Steve made it as such. They’d be fine.
It was not fine.
Billy had vanished by the time Steve woke up the following morning. He’d penned a short thank you note in very fancy handwriting, telling Steve that if anyone found out what had happened, he was dead. Eh. Steve had threatened worse.
He didn’t see Billy for about a week after that. Not until the blue Camaro parked outside the Byers. While there was a demodog just lying on the floor of the kitchen and Max was under Steve’s care.
Shit.
Steve sensed that flirting would not get him out of this one.
So he tried to act macho. Puffing out his chest. Peacocking just like Hargrove. Until Max’s ginger hair peeled out the window and he had to change tactics again.
Steve was not going to let his new crush get eaten by an alien. So he told him the truth.
Billy smoked five cigarettes right down to the filter while staring in horror at the creature on the kitchen floor. Ash got all over Joyce’s nice wooden floors. Nobody brought him up on it.
Then Billy’s face steeled and he fished a red bandana out of one of his pockets (Steve would pay attention to which side it had been on when he didn’t fear for his life) and grabbed his lighter.
“Let’s send these assholes to Hell.”
Steve couldn’t agree more.
Billy was not happy about having to sign a contract afterwards. Grumbling about how government was authoritarian bullshit. Still, he wrote his name with a flourish and asked to pull one of the scary government people to the side.
He did something unexpected when he finally emerged from the room afterwards. He kissed Steve. Apparently Steve hadn’t been making up a mutual crush in his head after all.
They had their first date a little before Christmas. Billy took him to Makeout Point. Fun was had. Then Billy drove Steve back to the Harringtons and made him watch Star Trek. Fucking nerd.
Six months went by and Steve never met Neil. He’d heard a lot about him, his opinion of African-Americans and Mexicans and Jews were dark and ugly and made Steve want to smash his teeth in. What cemented that opinion was that Billy was still coming to Steve’s with bruises patterning his torso, a split lip, broken toes.
It was the day when Neil had cracked Billy’s ribs that Steve decided to take matters into his own hands. Billy wasn’t well enough to come but Steve decided to have a little trip to the Hargrove’s, bat in hand. To have a talk.
Neil called Steve a kike and both of them faggots. There wasn’t a lot of talking after that.
Nobody knew quite where Neil had ran off to after that evening. Not even Steve. Not that he minded, as long as he stayed far away from Max and Billy.
He had Billy now, wearing his stupid leather pants as a joke, forcing him to watch more Star Trek. That was all that really mattered.

Warnings// kissing, cuddling, pure fluff, Wilbur and Aidan are- well they’re them. One sexual reference (about Wilbur and Aidan!). You are Aidan’s sibling, space??, literally just super cute and chaotic! And if I missed anything, please tell me!
Edited: nope.
wc: 2.7k….. I kinda went ham-
Tumblr media
It was a colder night in the wonderful , yet kinda shitty city of Brighton and Tom invited you to go on a little “adventure” with him. So when you said yes, you didn’t think he’d be right at your doorstep when you hung up.
“Jesus- How long have you been out there Tom?!” You quietly yelled at him, not wanting to wake your neighbors as you pushed him into the warm apartment.
“About 10 minutes. I was debating on calling you or to just knock but I didn’t want to be that fool that comes here for no reason when you say no, so I called while standing here.” The blonde said, rubbing his hands together, shaking in his light hoodie and blue jeans. His cheeks, nose, and tips of his ears were bright red from the harsh wind of the late night.
You frowned as you cupped his face in your hands, trying to warm his face up with your hands. “Oh toms. You idiot.” You sighed out at him as you dragged him to your room and told him to sit on your bed.
“Your idiot.” Tommy mumbled as you walked over to your closet to find some hoodies you stole from him so he could layer up.
Smiling as you found a big sweatshirt that was his, walking back over to him and handing it to him. “Yeah. My lovely idiot.” You kissed his nose as you ran your hand through his messy hair. He leant his head onto your hand as you rested it on the side of his head, nuzzling into the warmth it provided him. You smiled down at the blue eyed boy as his eyes fluttered shut from the way your nails scratched his head.
“Ok now, out! I need to change!” You pulled him up by his hands and pushed him out the door as he groaned from the lose of warmth.
As you walked out of your room, dressed in sweats and one of Tommy’s sweaters with converse, you saw Tommy grab a big blanket out of your closet and your bag filled with all shorts of snacks you had in your home.
“Now what are you doing stealing all my food?!” You asked him as you furrowed your eyebrows at him. All he did was smile innocently at you before sighing as he saw the glint of ‘you better tell me or I’m walking your head’ in your eyes.
“To make it an even better adventure, we need snacks,” Tommy quickly looked at his phone and widened his eyes. “And we need to leave! C’mon!” Tommy put the bag on his back as you picked up the blanket.
“Why are we in such a rush again?!” You asked as you grabbed your keys and locked your apartment. As you turned around, you saw a small black car sitting in front of you and Tom. “Is that-“
“Hey bubs!” You saw your brother, Aidan, roll down his window as he smiled at you.
“Are you guys going to come in, or just stand there like losers?” Wilbur said as he leant over the wheel to look at you.
You narrow your eyes at him and walk to the car. “You should be glad you’re dating my brother. Because if you weren’t you’d be dead meat.” You harshly said to him as Tommy opened the door for you, following you in to get away from the cold wind that seemed to be hating on him.
“Eh, you love me to much to hurt me.” Wilbur winked at you through the rear view mirror as you scoffed and smiled at him.
“And who told you that?” You joked as Will started to drive away from your apartment and to… well wherever the hell you were going.
“Who knows. Maybe someone that is like really close to you, literally blood related, and I am currently dating.” Wilbur replied with a sly smirk on his face as he looked at Aidan.
“Will-“
“Aidan! Really?!” You yelled at him as Tommy started laughing at the interactions he was witnessing. Definitely not the worst though.
“What?! He thought you actually hated him! I had too.” Aidan raised his hands as he explained the situation.
You narrowed your eyes at Wilbur. “I want you to know that I will never hate you. You just have a way to irritate me sometimes. But never will I hate you. You’re practically my brother in law and you make my brother happy. Plus you’re really nice.” You smiled at him as he smiled at you through the mirror again. Aidan smiled back at you as he silently took Will’s free hand in his and played with his fingers.
Smiling at the two in the front, you scooted closer to Tommy and looped your arms together and connected your hands together as you rested your head on his shoulder.
“You didn’t tell me they were coming.” You whispers to Tom as he looked down at you, kissing your hairline and rubbing your hand with his thumb.
“I wanted it to be a surprise. It’s been some time since we’ve been out together, just the four of us.” Tommy explained as he spoke into your hair.
You smiled as you nuzzles deeper into Tom, content with the slow folk music Wilbur had put on as he silently talked to Aidan. You started to doze off from the warmth and comfort Tommy brought you.
Tom could tell you were getting sleepy so he slid down the seat a little so your head was in the crook of his neck. “Go to sleep love, I’ll wake you up when we’re there ok?”
As you nodded, you’d lowly started to slip in and out of consciousness as peaceful thoughts and sleep came over you.
**********
“Y/n. Y/nnnnn. Y/N!” You startled awake, quickly sitting you, hitting your head on the seat in front of you as you did so. Groaning in pain, you looked over and saw Wilbur losing his shit over what just happened and Aidan stifling his own laughs.
“Oh fuck off you two! That hurt you assholes.” You whined out to them as you scooted out of the car, rubbing your head.
“Y-Yeah, but it was so fucking funny! Your face I-“ You crossed your arms as you deadpanned at the tall lengthy man that was now rolling on the ground from laughter. “Aidan he-help! It hurts!” Wilbur laughs out as he holds his stomach.
“Good. Where’s Tom?” You asked as Aidan pointed to the boy setting up the blanket and pillows he brought under a tree. The tree has light hung on them and it looked beautiful.
“Holy- when did he do this?”
“Oh! That?! He called me for help this morning with it!” Wilbur did as he got his breathe back, dusting himself off as he walked over to us.
You smiled at the thought of Tom planning this all out for you and taking time to do this, just for you.
“This idiot.” You whispered out as you started to walk to him.
“Yeah, love sick idiot.”
“Will! Shut up, you’re the same way.” Aidan smacked his chest as he smiled at the couple that now sat on the blanket.
“So- you did this for me?” You asked Tom as you settled on the blanket, wrapping your arms around your body as a cold chill ran up your spine. Tommy noticed this, quickly rummaging through the carry on bag, digging up the sweater Aidan gave him “just in case.”
Smart-ass.
“Here. Take this my love. And yes, I did. You deserve something like this every once in a while. You work too hard to not get some relaxation.” Tommy said as you put the sweater on and smiled at him as you fixed your hair that was everywhere.
“Thanks.” You whispered out as you looked at the ground, biting your lip to keep the wide smile that was trying to come out of bring from spreading onto your face. Heat took over your entire body as you flushed at everything Tom did for you.
Your thoughts got interrupted by Tommy wrapping his arm across your shoulders, pulling you into him and kissing your forehead. “Anything for you my love. Oh! This isn’t even the best part. Come with me!” Tommy quickly got up as he held out his hands for you to take. You hesitantly took them, pushing yourself off the ground as Tommy held you in place, moving to stand behind you.
“Do you trust me?” He whispered in your ear as you smiled at the question.
“Always.”
“Good.” After Tom said that, your sight went pitch black, noting that Tommy covered your eyes with his hand. “Aidan! Stop making out with my brother and turn off the lights!”
“Ok! Ok, I’m going!” He yelled back as he unplugged the outlet of the lights from the portable one they had.
“Ok, now we’re gonna slowly walk- there we go. Ok, now don’t open your eyes quite yet!” Tommy told you as he took his hands off your eyes and moved to be in front of you. You used your senses to help you figure out where you were. The air smelt fresh with a hint of lime and maple from the trees. You could hear the music from the car still but it was fuzzy and muffled so you obviously moved farther away from it. “Ok- now open!”
You opened your eyes, blinking a few times to adjust to the new lighting. You saw Tommy standing in front of you with his hands out, doing some type of jazz hands. He had a big smile on his face as he looked up at the sky.
That’s when you say it. All of it.
The sky was painted with all sorts of purples and pinks and blues accompanied the lifeless looking night sky, with little specks of white written all over it. You could easily spot the constellations in the sky, the different planets that were apparent in the bright night sky. It was all so beautiful. All too unreal.
You smiled up at the sky as you started to slowly twirl, watching as the sky moved with your movements. You looked at Tom, a wide smile taking over both of your faces as you laughed out in joy. You walked up to him, throwing your arms around him and resting you forehead on his.
“This is beautiful Tommy. Thank you. For all of it. Thank you so so much-“ You cut yourself off as you quickly cupped his face and pushed your lips onto his. Tommy wrapped his arms around your waist as you stood on your tiptoes, getting impossibly closer to him. The kiss was slow, neither of you wanting to rush it or ruin the moment. Both of you poured all your love and appreciation in the kiss, wanted to show each other how much the other meant to them.
You pulled away slowly as you took a deep breathe, panting as you tried to get air in your lungs. Tommy rested his forehead against yours as he kissed your cheek, slowly moving to rest his head in the crook of your neck.
“I love you.” Tommy whispered into your collarbone as he slowly started swaying you both to the muffled rhythm that came from the car.
“I love you too.” You whispered out into the air as you placed a hand in his hair, slowly rubbing and playing with his hair. You started to hum along with familiar song that was playing off in the distance, making the Tommy fall deeper into a relaxed state.
“Hmm wanna watch the stars with me love?” Tommy asked as dragged you down onto the grass, lying down opening his arms for you to come lay in.
“Yes darling, I’d love too.” You giggled as you lied in Tommy’s arms, looking up at the sky as you admired every little thing about it. “Did you know that Saturn- is right there?”
Tommy chuckled, your head bouncing with his chest as he shook his head and replied, knowing full well he did, but loved hearing you talk about these things. “No I didn’t. Tell me more?”
“Yes so-“
From Tommy’s phone, it showed you had been talking about the stars and planets and space- for an hour and a half. And he was enjoying every second. Every bit of information you told him, he absorbed and kept. Just in case you asked him next time.
“Ok love. It’s currently 1 am. And you and me have some influencer shit to do tomorrow! So let’s go! We’ll get food and then go to sleep at yours?” Tommy asked as he helped you up from the wet ground.
“Perfect.” You smiled at him as you clasped your hands together, making your way back to the tree. As you helped Tom grab everything and put it back in the back and back where it needs to be, you both slowly made your way to Wilbur’s old, beat down car.
“Wait- let’s see how long it takes them to notice us.” Tommy pulled you back from the car as you both saw Aidan and Wilbur making out with each other.
Surprise surprise.
“Jesus- I don’t know who’s worse. They’re both equally as horny and desperate but damn-“ You said as you looked at the pair, grimacing at the scene in front of you. “He better not-“
As you were about to finish your sentence Wilbur started to pull at the hem of Aidan’s shirt, and that’s when you called it quits.
“ABSOLUTELY NOT! PG-FUCKING 13 PLEASE!!” You yelled as you turned away from the two as Tommy just laughed at your comment. “Jesus- find your self respect Aidan-“
“Y/n- we talked about this. I dropped it a long time ago when I met this dumbass.”
“Well fucking find it! Don’t have sex in front of your sibling you idiot!”
“Oh shut it y/n! We weren’t gonna do anything!” Wilbur sighed out as he fixed his hair and shirt in the rear view mirror.
“Oh yeah? Well those little sneaky hands and these-“ you said pouting at Aidan’s hickeys on his neck. “Say differently. You can… get it on… later. But right now me and Tom are hungry and tired. So let’s go!” You sighed out as you got into the back seat of the car and waited for Tom to get in before leaving against his shoulder.
“Ok- where do you guys wants to go get food? There’s barely anything open right now but-“
“McDonald’s. It’s the easiest.” You matter if factly said as Wilbur scoffed and shook his head.
“What about Wendy’s? That’s always good.”
“Closed.” Aidan said as he showed Wilbur the website.
“Shit.” Wilbur cursed out as you laughed at him.
“Loser.”
“You little-“
“Will. Not my sibling.” Aidan quickly stopped Wilbur before he could say anything else.
“I agree with Y/n. It is really the easiest.” Tommy said as he ran his hands through your hair.
“Oh shut it! Don’t agree with them! Don’t be a simp-“
“Know what! McDonald’s it is. And Wilbur stop being a little hypocrite ok? You’re the same way. Now, come one! They close in an hour!”
“Ok, ok. I hate when you’re right.” Wilbur mumbled out as Aidan smirked at him.
“So… all the time?” You asked no one in general. Wilbur scoffed as you saw Aidan nodded.
“Pretty much-“
“You’re lucky you’re dating my brother… and I’m dating yours.”
“Mhm. You love me.” You sleepily said as your closed your eyes, sleep taking over your body every waking second.
Wilbur chuckled and nodded. “Yeah- yeah I do.”
The rest of the car ride was spent with Wilbur and Aidan singing along to the CD Wilbur made and Tommy playing with your hair and whispered silly little nothings between the two of you.
“I love you.” You whispered out to Tom as you looked up at him.
He smiled back down at you as he pressed a kiss onto your temple and placed your head on his chest.
“And I love you more, my star.”

Percy Jackson/Kingdom Hearts crossover
Note: This head canon just literally popped in my mind. As is the case with most of my head canons, Jason is alive...
=-=-=-=-=
Jason decided this was the last time he would engage in a heated discussion with Annabeth and Frank about potential parallel existences just before going to bed.
That conversation seemed to have made an impression upon his psyche. In the first place, Saturn appeared in his dream.
Yes, THAT Saturn. The other half of Kronos - or however you want to describe that whole 'split personalities' thing.
Unlike Kronos, whom Annabeth and the others had described as fragmented and formless, Saturn had a body. Jason figured that made sense given some of the Roman myths about him.
Saturn: I'm feeling bored, son of Rome. Existence can be most boring when half of your consciousness is split with a scattered, formless wreck that lives within the depths of Tartarus. Your debate with Frank Zhang and Annabeth Chase fascinated me. I've decided to sate your curiosity, since it has allowed me to manifest for a time, and I need something to do.
Jason: Wait, you mean?
Jason remembered now his final thought in the debate with Annabeth. He'd speculated that the only way to prove parallel existences for sure would be to see your parallel selves.
Saturn: Yes, precisely. I'm going to show you another side of yourself, Frank Zhang, and Annabeth Chase. I think you'll find that world quite different and foreign too.
Jason: How can you...?
Saturn: How can I do such a thing? I'm the god of time, remember? Get ready Jason. This is the world where another side of your heart exists.
No sooner had Saturn spoken, and Jason's dream changed. He found himself standing on a brick paved street, under an orange sky that seemed fixed in pre-dusk twilight.
Was this still a dream? It felt so real...
Jason found himself walking, approaching an alleyway just ahead, as though he knew where to go.
Saturn must have picked up on his thoughts.
Saturn: You do know where to go, Jason. Another side of you knows this place very well.
Jason came to a curve in the alley, and a name popped into his mind spontaneously: The Usual Spot.
In a little fenced in nook direct off the alley, Jason found a hideaway base of sorts. There was a dartboard, for one thing.
Jason also noticed for the first time a rather chubby boy with spiked black hair, wearing baggy jeans, and a red jersey.
Jason: Who?
Saturn: Think, Jason. Who does he remind you of with his chubby, big-boned appearance and his babyish facial features?
Jason: Frank before he received the blessing of Mars...
Saturn: Yes. Your friend, Frank. Would you like to see your parallel self?
Saturn apparently hadn't waited for Jason to answer.
A young man with rather unruly dirty blonde hair stepped into the little alley nook. He wore a mischievous, rather impish grin.
His choice of clothing was camo shorts and a black tank top.
Jason felt as though he should know this blonde boy when he addressed the chubby boy in the red jersey.
Jason was sure he knew him...
???: Still here, eh Pence? Olette hasn't shown yet?
Pence: Nope. No Roxas either...
???: Predictable. Those two are probably off somewhere, gossiping like my grandma, or kissing, or - who knows?
Pence: Ah, so you know that Olette likes Roxas?
???: I figure. She hardly gives me the time of day when he's around.
Pence: Are you jealous, Hayner?
Hayner: Not really.
Realization dawned on Jason as he watched Hayner and Pence's casual exchange.
Jason: He's me.
Saturn: Correct. Unfortunately, I can't make the other two that they speak of appear, you know. I can only let you have this glimpse into what is happening there. The other two they speak of - Olette and Roxas - who do you suppose they're the parallel equivalents of?
Jason: How can I guess? I haven't seen them.
Saturn: Well, I can at least help you out with a flash, I think. Pay very careful attention to these images.
Suddenly, the image of a girl with red-brown hair and a boy with spikey dirty blonde hair flashed into Jason's mind.
Jason: I figure the girl must be Annabeth. I'm not sure who this 'Roxas' is supposed to be.
Saturn: Likes to play the hero. Good with a blade. People tend to rely on him.
Jason: Are you sure he's not my parallel self, instead of this Hayner punk?
Saturn: Oh, come now Jason! Who else besides yourself do you associate these qualities with?
Jason: Percy?
Saturn: Right again! Let's just say that I would never do something as foolish as bring Percy Jackson close to Roxas, the way I've brought you to Hayner. The consequences could be quite dire, for me. One Percy Jackson is enough...
Jason: What? You mean this 'Roxas' has two of himself?
Saturn: In a way, you could say that...
Jason found his dream returning, as the strange town of twilight seemed to vanish away.
Saturn: I hope you enjoyed your brief glimpse of your other self. It wasn't for free, you know.
Jason: ...but you said!
Saturn: (smiling malevolently) Oh relax Jason. I won't exact payment from you. I'd need to be in one piece to be able to do that, and my other half is currently scattered about on the winds of Tartarus.
Jason: Then what...?
Saturn: Let us just say that one day the cycle will repeat again. Surely even you have figured out that it must. Yes Jason. One day my Greek alter-ego will begin to collect enough for his consciousness to manifest once more. Kronos will seek a way to return. At that time, my payment will be exacted. One of your descendants is going to do a favor for me. Don't bother thanking me for this little treat. I should be thanking you...
With that Saturn was gone, and Jason was once more awash in random dreams.
In the midst of it, he managed to form one coherent thought.
I should have known better than to trust Kronos, or Saturn, or whatever he is...
Saturn's voice: You think much too low of me, son of Jupiter. I've left you with some more images to fill your dreams.
Jason began to receive more mental images in flashes.
He saw Pence, Hayner, Olette, and Roxas sitting on a clock tower, nibbling at some kind of blue ice cream.
Then he saw Roxas and Hayner bumping fists and promising that one of them would win a championship trophy for their gang.
Jason wondered if life was simpler in that other world.
No, probably not...

Mini Series Part 2 EVEN THOUGH SHE LEFT ME!!!
Just a refresher this is a mini series with @hereformcdonaldshonestly and I OCs. The first part is her OC Mack or Mackenzie. This will be my OC, Hannah.
Hannah
Personality-
Hannah is everywhere, she is still smart and shy but when she knows someone she will be closer with you. She doesn't like people telling her business or people knowing things about her. She had ADHD, social-anxiety, depression and does have panic attacks in certain situations.
Looks-
She had brown hair and brown eyes she constantly wears glasses and has freckles across her face. She normally wears skinny jeans or shorts with a t-shirt and converse or grey adidas shoes. Also normally are darker colors.
How she interacts with Each mcyt:
Dream- Dream and Hannah would get along and probably make videos just to cause chaos, she would never do a manhunt but once, she got distracted
Tubbo- Tubbo and Hannah would run around finding bees to start an army of bees, they would have a sanctuary of bees
Philza- They would be dads, Hannah is a "man" in a relationship but she would adopt like 10 people on the server
BadBoyHalo- Bad and Hannah would buttheads because she loves to curse and he hates it so he is always yelling language
Fundy- Hannah would take Fundy in if Wilbur wasn't there, she took him to go get supplies to help build his new house.
Quackity- They would be absolute chaos together, there would be no quiet moments ever it would be laughing and bad jokes 247
Karl Jacobs- Karl would join in on the chaos of Hannah and Quackity just because he wants to laugh too and it seemed fun
Foolish- She would help him if he needed her to and would build a lot because they share the interest
GeorgeNotFound- They would be chill with each other but would probably do a few things together normally stupid videos with Dream
Sapnap- He would also do videos with either Dream or Karl and Quackity and they would laugh and play a couple games with each other but debate a lot because of different interest
Awesamdude- Again he owns a prison, Hannah loves her chaos
Eret- They would vibe together and be iconic a lot because they don't care a lot but it would be hilarious
Jack Manifold- Kind of awkward because Hannah has dark humor were Jack has a normal humor with voices
Niki- Get along really well, they would build on the smp or just play games and have a lot of fun, hang out a lot and have fun
Hbomb- They would also get along and make fun of people and bond over Pokémon
Technoblade- BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD, would cause a lot of chaos because of their love for chaos
Puffy- Puffy would be Hannah's mom figure, she would love to help puffy whenever she needs it and would run to do it for her
Ranboo- Both are very forgetful and would be horrible at trying to remember something simple that someone told them recently
Slimecicle- Eh they could vibe but it would be funny and weird to say the least
TommyInnit- Loud and Chaotic that is all, they could start small projects but it would end up not finished
Wilbur Soot- They would definitely get along and vibe together through music, could definitely harmonize together
Ghostbur- Still get along and sing a lot and spend a lot of time with friend just to stay happy and take all the blue away
Jschlatt- Oh boy, it would be a disaster waiting to happen with a lot of chaos and cat photos but they would get along a lot and bond over their cats

Okay. Requests are open right? Can I have the seafood trio with Azul’s younger brother who is based of Morgana? You know, Ursula’s crazy little sister from Little Mermaids 2. In shorts, this younger brother of Azul will be very competitive, extremely jealous of Azul and will be so mad when someone compare him to Azul because their mom always do that
The design of this request began when I came up with this scenario.
Random classmate: It was only now that I noticed that you also have a beauty spot on your chin just like Azul. Pretty funny coincidence.
B/N: *smashes the pen he was holding in his hand* So you say I look like an ugly and fat octopus that has nothing better to do than get all the mother’s attention? Well thank you. I hope you look in the mirror or really at your nearest trash because I’m sure that trash looks better than you.
It is probably quite clear that the distance between these brothers is not the best of all. While waiting for the overblot.
Azul Ashengrotto
Tumblr media
Azul would be a little sad that you wouldn't get along well.
He is also sad when his mother has given all her attention to him.
( Or he tries to be sorry but Azul really enjoys the attention )
But sympathy ends the moment you try to overthrow his “wish fulfillment” attempt.
He wants to know right away how you manage to make better contracts than he does.
And then he gets to know the shocking thing.
You "rent" wishes.
(That is, as long as the person pays you money every month, the thing they want stays valid)
Azul goes a little "chatting" with you.
This is how the debate goes.
Azul: What evil have I ever done to you that you are so mean? *start cry*
B/N: You always took all the mother’s attention and you were always better at everything.
Azul: And that's why you're destroying my business?
B/N: I will not destroy your business because of it. I destroy it because you got a € 10 more expensive Christmas present than I did when we were 13 years old.
Azul:Mom took you to the amusement park when we were 14 and I couldn’t get in because I was sick.
B/N: You always get to eat the last pair of Christmas cookies.
And this listing of "immense injustices" continues for a very long time.
After this dispute, Azul exercises big brother's rights and orders you to go to your room.
After that, you shout that you are already in your room because you have a common room.
( Crowley is very lazy and can't come up with a room order. )
So it is clear that you and Azul will not get along with each other.
In the coming weeks, you can either get into therapy and talk about your problems, or organize a World War III war against each other.
It doesn’t make it any easier for you to become more violent than Floyd every time someone compares you to Azul
This is going to be a very difficult year.
Jade Leech

Jade wanted to meet Azul's brother.
He would like to believe that your instruments are similar to those of him and Floyd.
He really learns that you are not as close.
Jade: Azul why tear your hair out?
Azul: It's because of my brother.
Jade: Eh? Does someone bully him?
Azul: NO! HE TEASE ME! He’s trying to destroy my business and ate the last biscuits!
It’s a moment when he learns that your relationship is diverse.
Jade usually doesn’t have much to do with you.
He's just waiting.
Jade waits for the moment that you have enough money and you can start bribing him and Floyd.
(Yes Jade is ready to betray Azul for the money)
Remember kids that you can’t buy bread with friendship.
Floyd Leech
Tumblr media
Floyd always wondered why Azul hadn't talked about his brothers before.
He was very surprised when he first heard about you.
And when Floyd meets you he no longer wonders why Azul is no longer talking about you.
Floyd really loves to bully you.
He usually teases you and compares you a lot to Azul.
He thinks it's fun.
At least until you spray your ink on him.
After that, no one is having fun.
Usually it ends up with you and Floyd wrestling on the floor.
Jade and Azul have to detach you from each other often.
Floyd doesn't like you anymore.
He's trying to scare you so you stop going out of business.
But usually it doesn't work.
You don’t usually have to deal with each other.
And this is much better.

I have a blurb idea for the Made in Hell series. How about Tom, taking care of the kids by himself and he’s completely overwhelmed. Since he wants to be the fun parent, the reader has turned the tables on him. Maybe after this Tom will stop making fun of her for being the strict parent and the little angels will actually listen to their mom since she basically does everything for them. Thank you
Hope you like this. Let me know what you think.

“Tom, are you sure? I can totally call the babysitter. I’m sure Nancy wouldn’t mind coming at such a short notice” you debated with Tom for the one last time. A last minute business summit came up for which you had to travel to Birmingham. Though it was a one day trip you had never stayed away from your kids for so long so obviously you were a little wary to leave them with Tom. Tom is the best dad they could get you had no doubt in that but he was a man child himself and gave in easily to their demands which didn’t help much in lessening your worries.
“Y/N trust me I can handle them. What trouble can two five year olds cause? You’re just worried that they would have more fun with me” he quipped and now the devil on your shoulder was like let him handle the kids for one day then he will understand how much of a hard work it is.
“Huh, very well then good luck with all the fun. Just don’t burn the house down while I’m away” you snarked.
“We will be fine don’t worry” he assured you.
“Mommy do you have to go?” Leah tugged on the hem of your dress with Nate standing by her side, looking at you with doe eyes. Your heart melted, still not willing to leave them as you crouched down.
“Yes baby it’s kinda important for mom but I’ll be back soon before you even notice. Till then be good and don’t cause much trouble to your dad ok?”
“Ok mommy love you” they nodded and hugged you tightly.
“Love you too my pumpkins” you kissed their foreheads and stood up to go to Tom. He circled his hands around your waist and pulled you closer.
“Travel safe. Call me when you reach there” he said tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear as you nodded with a smile “love you”
“Love you too” you left a sweet kiss on his lips before you pulled away and walked out of the mansion to get inside the car waiting outside for you. Tom stood at the front door with the twins waving you goodbye and you waved them back as the driver started the car.
“C’mon lovebugs let’s go inside eh?” Tom ushered them in as soon as your car exited the driveway and drove out of the big iron gates of the mansion.
“So what do you guys wanna do today?” he asked them excitedly.
“Can we watch Ferdinand dad?” Nate suggested.
“Yeah sure bud I’ll put it on for you”
“Also can we have pizza and ice cream for lunch today daddy?” Leah chirped looking at Tom with hopeful eyes.
“You wanna have pizza for lunch? I don’t think your mum would be happy about that if she comes to know” he said a little reluctantly.
“Please daddy” both of them pouted jutting their lower lip out, giving him the puppy eyes and what can Tom do now when he is faced with two mirror images of him.
“Ok but don’t tell your mom” he broke into a smile agreeing to their wishes.
“Yay!!” they exclaimed in joy.
So far everything was going pretty well as Tom watched the movie with them and got them their desired lunch. They even had their afternoon nap without any fuss. To be honest he was exhausted it’s really tough to look after two kids and you made it look so easy for which he admires you even more.
In the evening Tom took them to his office which you had always forbidden but he had work to do so that was best option for him to keep an eye on them. Nate and Leah were in awe seeing the huge office room for the first time. They looked around with big curious eyes before they sat on the huge couch and started bouncing on it giggling.
Tom had to stop them by giving them some papers and crayons to draw instead while he prepares for tomorrow’s meeting. Nate and Leah were engrossed in drawing their masterpieces when Tom’s phone buzzed. It was Harrison, Tom accepted the call and lifted the phone to his ear. Harrison talked about some papers over the line to which Tom said that they are in his room so he got up from his chair to fetch them.
“You guys stay here and draw, I’ll be right back” he told Nate and Leah before leaving. After sometime he returned back to see them still busy with their drawings.
“Sorry guys your uncle Haz can sometimes be….” he trailed off and his eyes went wide as soon as he noticed the papers. It was the contract papers for tomorrow’s meeting “oh my god, where did you get those papers?!”
“Our drawing paper got ruined and then we found these inside the drawer” Nate informed innocently without a clue of what they had done.
“Daddy look we drew some pictures” Leah walked up to him excitedly.
“It’s a really good painting love” Tom said with a tight lipped smile.
“Daddy are you not happy?” she asked, noticing his gloomy expression.
“No peanut, I’m really happy but you shouldn’t have taken these papers. These were my work papers” Tom sighed a little disappointed. It wasn’t their fault, they are kids. How can they know the value of these papers? They just wanted to make him happy and he can never bring himself to scold them. He just can’t and now he understands why you are sometimes so strict with them. They need to learn the good and bad. And as a parent it is his responsibility to guide them in life.
“I’m home!” you announced cheerfully as soon as you stepped inside the house. Tom ran down the stairs hearing your voice followed by Nate and Leah.
“Y/N thank god you’re back!” he hugged you tightly heaving a sigh of relief.
“Okay.. I thought the kids would be missing me but it seems like you missed me more” you snickered.
“I admit I was wrong you were right being the fun parent isn’t always good”
“What is the matter Tom?” you looked at him with concern and he looked down at your twins. It didn’t take much time for you to understand that your kids have been up to some mischief. “now what did you guys do?” you questioned them as they both clinged on to Tom’s legs.
“It wasn’t their fault really. I shouldn’t have allowed them in the office” Tom said in their defense.
“We made this for you mommy” Nate and Leah bring out a paper and hand it to you.
“Awww this is so pretty” your heart swelled looking at the picture they drew. They had drawn a family portrait of you, Tom and them in a flower field. The colors are a little smudged out but it is remarkable for a five year old. Then you turned to the backside of the page and noticed the writing on it “aren’t these the contract papers for tomorrow’s meeting Tom?” you asked with a frown.
“Yeah” he sighed, hanging his head low.
“This is why I don’t allow them in the office and you were the one telling me that I’m being too strict with them” you remarked.
“I know and I’m sorry”
“And I really didn’t expect this from you two” you turned to your twins with a stern gaze “you promised to be good, right? You shouldn’t have touched anything without asking your dad”
“We’re sorry mommy” both of them glanced at their feet with a sad face. You eased up seeing them feeling guilty for what they have done.
“Well it looks like you have realized your mistake plus this painting is really good I’m gonna hang it up” seeing you smile Nate and Leah were back to their joyous self “also no tv for a week as punishment for today” you added as they looked at you with their adorable puppy eyes to negotiate out of the punishment “don’t give me that look, you know it’s not gonna work here. Now go back to your room and get ready for bed, you have school tomorrow” you told them and they were quick to go back to their room without a word.
“I’m such a bad parent I can’t even look after my kids properly” Tom sighed, sadness clouding his features.
“Hey don’t think like that you’re at least trying and that makes you better than everyone” you tried to cheer him up.
“But the contract papers we have to cancel tomorrow’s meeting” he voiced his concern.
“Relax, I still have the soft copy of the draft” you tell him with a reassuring smile.
“What?!” he gasped in surprise.
“Yeah as you aren’t that tech savvy I have everything backed up on the cloud drive. You can take a print later” you saw his face lightning up instantly at your words.
“God you’re a lifesaver!” he leaned to press a kiss on your lips. You pull away to look at his face with a childlike smile, lifting a hand you brush away a few curls falling over his face.
“Well you see I have to take care of three kids in the house so have to be always prepared for anything” you shrugged nonchalantly.
“Hey I’m not a kid!” he grimaced as you let out a carefree laugh.

I’m so sorry this has taken so long. But I hope you enjoy this chapter.💕
This gif has nothing to do with this chapter. But look at this moron🤣🤣 I love him.

Leighton’s head was splitting when she woke up the next morning. She was vaguely aware that she was in her bedroom but she wasn’t quite sure how she got there and she still had all her clothing on. She sat up slowly, and looked around. The rest of the apartment was quiet, and he curtains were closed. Her shoes were by the bed, and the picture on her dresser was moved.
Then it hit her.
Her memory was foggy but she could see a hazy visual of Mat carrying her into the apartment. She had almost fallen and then almost kissed him.
Oh great.
She huffed and rubbed her forehead. She didn’t often drink, and when she did never that much. But being in Mat’s presence, and seeing the ring on Kaitlin’s finger had rattled her so much, she just got a little out of hand. It was stupid. She had said no. She had drank her weight in vodka. And she needed Tylenol and a drink. Ginny was sitting at the kitchen island eating cereal.
“Morning.” She watched as Leighton disappeared behind the fridge door looking for water.
“Stop staring at me Ginny.”
“The last time I saw you that trashed was at Brad Smith’s party senior year. You were so drunk…that was the night you-“ she said giggling.
“Okay okay. I remember.”
Ginny chuckled “Mat brought you home last night.” She said casually, chewing a spoonful of cereal.
“So?”
“So. Did something happen?”
“ No nothing happened. He’s engaged to…whatever her name is.”
“All I’m saying is I saw that look. It’s the same look he used to give you four years ago.”
“Look I am hungover and I am not in a good mood. He’s engaged and he brought me home last night because he just wants to be friends-“
The doorbell rang just them interrupting her speech. Ginny frowned and slid off her stool. When she opened it, Beau of all people was standing on the other side of the door holding a carrier with three large coffees in it.
“Morning boozy.” He said giving her a smile as he breezed past Ginny and set them on the island.
“Oh my god I think I’m in love with you.” Leighton took hers gratefully and sipped it, feeling better instantly.
“So….” He asked leaning on the counter “Did something happen last night?”
Ginny chuckled and shook her head blowing on her coffee through the hole.
“You guys are the worst. Nothing happened.”
“Doesn’t mean you didn’t want it to.”
She rolled her eyes “Can you two leave me alone.”
“No.” They said in unison.
********
“So how was the rest of your night last night?” Kaitlin asked over breakfast. Mat shrugged.
“It was fine. Leighton and Beau got along pretty well. She had a little too much to drink though.”
“Was she okay?” Kaitlin looked genuinely concerned.
“I think so. She’s just going through some stuff right now is all, with the move and adjusting.”
“You should help her Mat. I’m sure she would really appreciate it. There’s that team party thing on Friday, I’m leaving that morning for a few days. You should take her.”
If Mat hadn’t just set down his fork he would have dropped it. Kaitlin must really feel secure about their relationship if she was giving him an invitation to go hang out with his ex girlfriend. Was this a test? He felt he was in dangerous territory and no matter how he answered it wouldn’t be right.
“Oh Kaitlin. I don’t know.”
“We’ll think about it. I’m okay with it.”
They ate breakfast in relative silence until Kaitlin left him to shower and pack for her trip. Mat sat down in front of the tv, and absently flicked through the channels, not really watching what was on it. His mind started to rewind.
Music was blaring through Katie’s Miller’s house. While the rest of the guys on the team were yelling and carrying on about winning, mat and Leighton were out talking quietly. The ride to the house had been short, too short to have real conversation and he had been dying to get her alone since then. She looked so damn pretty leaning forward against the railing of the deck.
“You played good tonight.” She said smiling “Or at least I’m pretty sure you did. Right?” He laughed. It was kind of endearing and actually nice that she didn’t know anything about the sport. Sometimes he felt a tremendous amount of pressure to perform because of the promise of making it to the nhl. He didn’t have to be Mat Barzal NHL hopeful with her. He could just be Mat.
Before he could answer the party goers behind them started chanting and they turned to see Cody and some other guys assisting Ginny in doing a keg stand. Leighton rolled her eyes.
“She’s a real piece of work eh?”
“Eh? What is that a Canadian thing?” She teased. Mat blushed.
“I guess.”
“It’s cute. I like it.”
I like you. He thought to himself.
“So how did you and Ginny meet?”
“I sit next to her in English class. We were partners for a project.”
“I’m surprised someone else didn’t try to fight you for it. Boys break their necks just to talk to her.”
“So I’ve noticed. I don’t know….she’s cool, but I’m a little more interested in someone else.”
She quirked an eyebrow “Oh yeah? Who’s that?”
Feeling bold, both from the beer and from the high of victory, he smiled at her and shrugged “ There’s this cute little blonde she hangs out with that caught my eye in Math class. In fact. I’m pretty sure that I’m failing because I spend so much time looking at her.”
Leighton let out a small laugh and turned to him, hair spilling over her shoulders. She turned her head to the side and looked up at him through her eyelashes. Gosh they were long, and her eyes were so big and caught the light every time she blinked.
“I’m sure she probably thinks your pretty cute too.” She said quietly bringing him back down to earth.
“That’s really funny, because I’ve been thinking about kissing her.”
“Okay I’m ready to leave.” Mat jumped as Kaitlin set her suitcase down on the hardwood. She was smiling at him as she pulled her coat on and shook out her hair. He stood to kiss her and say goodbye. There was a cab waiting to take her to the airport.
“I love you.” She said wrapping her arms around his neck.
“I love you too. Have a safe trip.”
“Mmmm. Try not to have too much fun while I’m gone.”
“Never.” He said running his hands up her back “just gonna hang with Tito probably.”
He didn’t miss the look of distaste that crossed her face and it annoyed him a little bit. Kaitlin had this idea that Beau would break them up or something and he wasn’t really sure why.
“We’ll have fun at your team thing. Are you going to ask Leighton to come?”
“Oh I don’t know. Maybe.”
They chatted for a few more minutes before she kissed him one last time and walked out the door to the cab. He pulled his phone out, opening his contact list up and scrolling to Leighton’s phone number. He debated for several seconds before closing her contact and then opening it again.
Hey. It’s Mat. There’s a thing on Friday and Kaitlin is out of town. She suggested I ask you. I thought maybe we could do dinner or something beforehand? I’d really like to catch up.
She responded soon enough for him to be hopeful, but long enough for him to sweating out her response.
Sure. That sounds nice. What time?
*******
“So it’s a date?” Beau said nudging her several times. Ginny was sitting on her other side and let out a small chuckle. Beau had insisted on taking them to lunch, waiting around while they both showered and got ready. Leighton had a feeling that he not only wanted some gossip, but he was trying to gauge how much charm it would take to win Ginny over.
“It’s not a date. Just a dinner between old friends.” Leighton said sipping her water.
“Old friends who used to bang.”
Leighton nearly choked on her water and felt her cheeks get red. Sending Ginny a glare she stabbed at a piece of chicken with her fork.
She was looking forward to spending some time with him. Sober. But she was also painfully aware that it was strictly dinner between friends. Even though she wasn’t around, he did still have a fiancé. Even though Beau reminded her “She’s awful.” It didn’t change that she existed.
That didn’t stop her from pulling out all the stops though. She spent some extra time on her hair and makeup, and pulled on her favorite black sweater and dark jeans and boots.
Ginny was out somewhere, but had also been invited and would meet her there later. She hurried out of her apartment, and by the time she made it to the front of her building Mat was waiting there, leaning against his car. He looked up, and blinked at her for several seconds before he smiled.
“Hi. You look nice. Ready?”
She felt like she was going to throw up as he opened her door and guided her into the car with his hand on her lower back. While he drove them to wherever they were going, she really looked at him. He was so different yet the same. Same eyes and smile, but his hair was longer and the years in the NHL had given him extra muscle.
“Stop staring at me.” He said, giving her the side eye, but he was smiling.
She chuckled and looked out the window at the buildings “ So where are we going?”
“To dinner.”
“Okay but where?”
“In a restaurant? Where else would we be going?”
She rolled her eyes “Your so annoying.”
“You haven’t seen me in four years and your telling me I’m annoying? That’s hurts L.”
She felt a tiny pang at the nickname he used to call her, and he must have too because his smile faded a bit and he cleared his throat.
“Uhm anyway…So where is Kaitlin tonight?”
“Uhm. She’s on a work trip in Florida or something. She said I should ask you to come to this thing. If I didn’t Beau would have thrown a tantrum.”
She smiled “I like Beau. He’s funny.”
Mat knew she meant as a friend but he felt a tiny twinge of jealousy. He wanted to be the one making her laugh, not Beau.
“I’m really glad you guys get along. He and Kaitlin don’t always.”
Leighton pursed her lips “Yeah I’ve noticed. What’s that about?”
Mat shrugged “Honestly, I’m really not sure. They’ve just never gotten along. It’s not easy, I’m not gonna lie to you. I’ve never had to deal with it before.”
In high school, his friends and teammates loved Leighton, and loved them together. It had been easy and when Beau and Kaitlin ended up on bad terms, Mat didn’t know what to do.
“I’m sorry Mat. That must be tough.”
“It is. But enough about that.” He said parking the car and turning to her smiling “Lets go. I want to catch up with you tonight, and not talk about that.”
*********
“Did you break up with Kaitlin. My man!” Mat turned as Jordan slapped him jovially on the shoulder, big smile on his face.
“Did I what?no.”
His smile faded and he frowned, looking confused “Well then who’s that?” Mat sighed. Leighton had been friendly and charming to all his teammates she had met so far. Her big smile and soft eyes drew people in like a magnet.
“That’s Leighton.” A collective gasp went up around the table. Most of his teammates knew about Leighton in some form.
“Leighton as in the girl you asked to marry-“
“Yes Marty let’s just not go there.”
“Does Kaitlin know she’s here?”
Mat opened his mouth to answer, but Beau spoke first “Who cares?”
Jordan and Marty laughed, both shaking their heads.
“We’ll I have to say Barz this is one I like. I’m so happy you moved on from Kaitlin.” Sydney had now joined them, smiling widely at him, missing Marty shaking his head at her trying to catch her attention. Beau started laughing and Jordan was smirking as he watched Sydney furrow her eyebrows and look between them.
“What’s so funny?”
“He didn’t dump Kaitlin. That’s his ex girlfriend.” Marty mumbled in her ear. Her eyes widened and she chuckled awkwardly and gave him an apologetic look.
“Oh. I’m sorry I didn’t-“
“Do you guys really dislike her that much.” He looked around the table. They wouldn’t meet his eyes but they all shrugged.
“It’s not that she just isn’t- what we would expect.” Sydney said choosing her words carefully “This one.” She said jerking her head in Leighton’s direction “Is more someone I could see you with.”
“Plus she has a smoking hot friend.” Beau added in. Ginny had just arrived, greeting Leighton at the bar and ordering a drink. Sydney rolled her eyes.
Matt spent the rest of the evening not really listening to what anyone was saying. He could t believe how much his team and their wives and girlfriends disliked Kaitlin. The more he thought about things the more he realized he had been missing all the signs. Kaitlin rarely came to games and when she did she always brought a work friend and didn’t sit with the other girls. She never went to any WAG gatherings or out with them for dinner or drinks. And here was Leighton, someone who had been absent for 4 years, fitting seamlessly into the mix, laughing and joking with them over drinks. It didn’t add up and it was frustrating. It was even more frustrating when he found her leaned over the bar top talking with the bartender.
Tall, black hair, well built. She definitely had a type.
He cleared his throat as he approached, causing her to turn to him. It was almost 1 am, and he was mad and tired.
“ Hey, it’s getting late. Are you ready?” She turned and smiled at him but shook her head.
“Actually.” She glanced at the bartender “ I think I’m gonna stay.” The bartender was giving him a smug look. He had watched him give Leighton one too many once overs and flirty smiles, and he wanted nothing more than to punch the guy in the face for doing it, which didn’t make any sense.
She was his ex girlfriend. He had moved on, why couldn’t she? She was too good, too special to be thinking about going home with a bartender with bad tattoos and no real value for her. He couldn’t tell her not to, but he could try.
Mat reached for her hand pulling her to him “ He’s not good enough for you.” He whispered and turned walking through the crowd and put into the night air. Leighton stood mouth open watching him leave.
“So anyway I get off in-“ the bartender said leaning forward but Leighton had walked away from him, following Mat outside. Who did he think he was? He couldn’t say that to her. He was engaged, and here he was trying to make her feel bad about flirting with a guy she wasn’t even going to call again.
He was on his phone ordering an Uber when he heard the door bang open.
“Hey!” He spun to find Leighton standing on the steps hands balled into fists at her sides. She looked angry, her eyes were wide and her cheeks were flushed.
“Don’t say things like that to me!”
“Leighton I-“
“He’s not good enough for you? I don’t need you inside my head anymore. It’s not up to you to decide that for me. You have fiancé, you moved on. Why can’t I ?”
“I didn’t mean it that way, I just meant -“
“No! I don’t care how you meant it. It’s not fair to me and it’s not fair to kaitlin either!” She gave him one last glare before she stormed back inside.
He let his head fall back and huffed out a breath. He knew he was being stupid, and unfair to everyone including himself. He slipped into his Uber mind going a million miles a minute.
What the fuck was wrong with him?
********
“I’m ready to leave.” Ginny turned and found Leighton flushed and angry behind her.
“What’s wrong?”
“I’m just ready to leave.”
“Okay.” Without a seconds hesitation she tossed her drink back, and paid her tab following Leighton out the front of the bar. As soon as the door shut Leighton exploded. She was talking so fast and so angrily Ginny could barely understand what she was saying but got the gist of it.
“And then he said ‘He’s not good enough for you’. What the hell does that even mean? He can’t say that to me!”
“Oh you two. I wish you could just both realize you still love each other and fix this whole mess.”
“I don’t love him.” Leighton said scoffing and folding her arms as they walked and argued.
“Oh my god, shut up L. Be honest about this for once in your life.”
“I’m done taking about this.” She snapped. They walked the rest of the way in silence each slamming their bedroom doors. They threw themselves into bed, stewing for a few moments before pulling out their phones. They both had multiple notifications, tagged posts and follow requests from various teammates and wives. Leighton liked them all, even making plans for shopping with a few and she and Ginny had been invited to dinner with others. She sighed and rolled over, tossing her phone aside, before she spoke out loud to the darkness.
“I hate you Mat Barzal.”
********
1,339 miles away Kaitlin washed her face and go ready for bed in her hotel room. She settled in and pulled her phone out as she turned the tv on and flicked the lamp off. She scrolled through Instagram and immediately noticed several groupings of photos from some of the other wags. She scrolled through a feeling of dread coming over her.
Leighton and Ginny were both in many of the photos, smiling and toasting with drinks like they had known them forever. They looked so natural, like it was where they belonged. All the wags had already followed both of them, commenting back and forth and arranging to get together. She got more annoyed as she scrolled but when she scrolled to the last picture she got angry.
Mat and Leighton were standing smiling at each other, a candid photo taken by Lauren Eberle. He was looking at Leighton like Kaitlin had always wanted him to look at her. She closed the app, and put the phone down, blinking away angry tears.
Things were going to change when she got back to Long Island.

HOOO BOY.
everyone, I would like to introduce you to my newest project/au: Furry Emblem. it’s exactly what it sounds like. each of the classes is a different type of animal - the black eagles are birds, the blue lions are cats (their designs will probably come next!), and the golden deer are ungulates. yes, that leaves out a few characters, but... eh, whatever. I’ll figure it out as I go.
(this is all a very elaborate way of saying I hate drawing humans and would rather draw anthros. also I’m a furry.)
anyway, extra design details/commentary under the cut for anyone who wants it:
some general stuff first:
this is the first time I’ve drawn these characters, birds or not, and jesus christ I didn’t realize how complicated their outfits were. I simplified them pretty heavily, since I actually plan on drawing these more and I don’t want to agonize over every pin and tassel every time.
and somehow, they still feel too messy. oh well.
none of them wear shoes! this is purely a personal thing. I can’t handle animals wearing shoes, and I cannot explain why.
Dorothea and Ferdinand both change a little over the timeskip, other than the stuff that happens in the game. I thought it would be fun to draw them a bit like juveniles, even if they’re basically adults by this point.
this only means something to people who’ve seen my bird art before, but I’m drawing them a little different than the ducks I usually draw! it’s most obvious in the beaks and hands.
tiny detail: Ferdinand, Edelgard and Hubert’s fingers are rounded because they’re wearing gloves.
those three are also the only ones with talons, because they’re the only predatory birds. you may think I had something deep and meaningful in mind with this, but no, it’s just a coincidence.
yes, these are all their canon heights.
I have no idea if I’ll make a proper sheet like this for the timeskip designs. it would be nice to have all of their heights on hand, but also... do you have any idea how exhausting it was to make this. I don’t think I’d go through this again just for some new hair and outfits.
okay, now for the character-specific stuff! gonna go from left to right with these.
Caspar
blue jay
he was the easiest species to decide on, next to edelgard.
trans of gender, lucky for him blue jays have zero sexual dimorphism aside from a size difference (most people think he’s just short).
probably the most realistic as far as colors go.
Dorothea
rose robin
after the timeskip, her chest turns pastel pink.
ignore that she has two toes. it’s... complicated, alright. pretend she has three.
Ferdinand
white-tailed eagle
“if he’s a white-tailed eagle why isn’t his tail white” only adults have white tails!
Ferdinand falls victim to what I liked to call the “fried chicken conundrum.” meaning that if you make his feathers too dull, it looks grey or brown instead of orange, and if you make it too bright, it looks like... well, fried chicken. I think I managed to find the middle ground, though.
a friend and I genuinely got into a debate on whether or not he wears a skirt. we concluded that he definitely doesn’t, but I’m going to continue to pretend that he does and draw him wearing one. (mostly out of spite. sorry ashe.)
Edelgard
bald eagle
she was the very first character I figured out the species for, way back in 2019 when I first played. this was before I knew Why she had white hair, but whatever, it still works.
she gets off easy in this because white is a perfectly natural color on a bald eagle, so no one really questions it. of course, they changed colors way earlier than most, but not many people know that.
Hubert
crested caracara
you guys have no idea how it felt to be looking at birds and going “holy SHIT that’s a Hubert”
apparently, when caracaras are with their mates, they’ll sometimes throw their heads back and just... cackle. take that as you will.
crested caracaras have a lot of exposed orange skin on their faces, and I swear to you that I tried to make it work, and it just... wouldn’t. so please ignore that discrepancy.
I was debating giving him a browner head and only making it black after the timeskip, since juvenile caracaras are brown instead of black. but he’s already, like, 20, so his adult plumage probably would’ve come in by now anyway.
Linhardt
arfak catbird
coming up with his species took the longest. unfortunately for me, birds aren’t a fan of sleeping, so I couldn’t even google “birds that sleep all day” for an easy choice. but cats sleep a lot, right? bird? catbird? good enough.
catbirds meow. that’s not relevant to anything I just think it’s funny.
Bernadetta
gambel’s quail
yeah I don’t really have anything to say about her.
Petra
indian peafowl
honestly, her design infuriates me a little because peacocks are blue, not magenta. but Petra’s hair is magenta, and it doesn’t have to be completely biologically accurate... I’ll learn to live with it.
Petra braids her tail, just like her hair, because otherwise it would drag for like, four feet behind her. using Tangled strats.
“I thought only male peafowl had the fancy tails” that’s what we call the trans of gender baby!!
her tail was a bitch to color. it was hard to get across the splendor of “HOLY SHIT A PEACOCK” while also being easy to draw. so now it’s cotton candy.

Tumblr media
——————————————————————————
you entered the spacious kitchen niccolo owned, as the scent of fresh bread wafted around the room. the scent was inhaled through your nose, mouth watering as you could practically taste it.
niccolo was leaning against the counter, wavy blonde hair parted in the middle as his apron was tied unusually tightly around him. flour was dusted along the red apron, creating small white patches on the fabric.
“what are you doing up at this hour?” you asked. “an even better question, why do you want me down here at 11:30 at night?” you referred to the note that he had left on your bed, asking you to report to the kitchen to taste something he had made.
“well if you’re here then you already know”, he responded. his hazel eyes nervously looked around the room as he desperately tried to think of something to say without being awkward. “i was wondering if you could help me taste a special kind of meat i cooked up.” he gulped.
your eyes lit up. “really? then why don’t you want anyone else down here tonight? why only me?”
niccolos cheeks turned a bit red. “because this meat is reserved for you.”
what the fuck does he mean, meat only reserved for me? you ask yourself.
well, your question was answered as soon as you noticed a bump form in the area between niccolos legs, covered by the fabric. his print showed, eager for attention.
your face turns red like a ripe tomato. you also notice that his arms and legs were bare, indicating that he wasn’t wearing anything underneath that apron.
“w-why aren’t you wearing anything underneath that?” you ask him.
“well, i asked you to taste some meat, didn’t i?” he asked. he walks over to you, and cups your cheek. his print presses against your stomach, feeling the bulge harden upon contact.
he presses his lips against yours, swirling his tongue around your mouth, admiring the pleasant taste that was on your lips. you kiss him back, feeling his lips that were softer than butter itself.
“ready to be my taste tester, y/n?”
“i’d love to.”
niccolo fiddled with the straps that tied arond his wast and neck, the apron promptly falling to his knees.
your eyes immediately fall upon what’s in between his legs. he’s already hard, the tip a flushed pink and his shaft a pale peach color. niccolo smirks as he watches you observe his dick.
“like what you see?” he asks as he pulls you closer to him again. you nod, and niccolo grabs your chin.
“good, now start tasting.”
he shoves you downwards, falling on your knees as he looks down on you expectantly.
your hand moves to his cock, and wraps around it as you feel the stiff and soft flesh that your hand is currently enveloping. you had no idea how niccolo’s dick was that soft.
another thing you began to question was how you were going to fit his fat cock in your mouth. he had to be at least 8 inches, with some pretty outstanding girth.
you move your hand up and down loosely as you feel niccolo twitch, and let out a groan.
you create a bit of saliva in your mouth and spit on his cock, and use both hands to rub it up and down his shaft so your hands could glide a bit easier.
after jerking him for a bit of time, a little bit of pre cum begins to form at his tip that has went from pink to red. you press your thumb over his tip and give it a gentle rub. a small gasp escapes from his throat as you rub his tip a few more times.
eventually, you guide his swollen cock into your mouth, giving it a few kitten licks on the way in. you begin to bob your head, feeling his shaft against the slick walls of your mouth.
“h-holy shit...” niccolo stammers. “just like that, please... oh my god...”
you give him a grin as you look up at him with doe eyes, trying to look as innocent as you possibly can.
as niccolo looked back into your eyes, he couldn’t help but buck his sturdy hips, shoving his cock further into the back of your throat. you gag, unprepared for that amount of impact.
“shit, sorry”, he says as you cough. “did that hurt?”
“no, i’m fine”, you say. “actually, it’s fine if you do that, it’s... kind of hot. face fuck me if you want to-“
niccolo doesn’t need another word. he thrusts his hips into your mouth, earning a muffled moan from you. he fills your poor mouth up to the brim, fat cock taking up every inch of space in your mouth. the tip of him repeatedly hits the back of your throat as your toes curl.
“you feel... so- good...” he stutters, as he continues to face fuck you mercilessly, at this point not caring if he’s making you gag or choke on him. “y-you’re gonna make me cum...”
you would respond, but as much as you wanted to, you couldn’t. you wouldn’t dare pull away from him as he’s so close. you only hum in response, the hum sounding a bit more like a moan. this pushes him further to the edge as adrenaline rushes through his veins.
his thrusts turn sloppy as he come closer to the end, numerous grunts coming from his mouth.
“ah- oh my go- ngh! i’m gonna- ahh...” he groans raspily as he cries your name one last time before releasing his load into your mouth. your mouth is now filled with both niccolos cock and his thick cum.
he pulls out, dick now coated in a mixture of saliva and his own cum. no matter how hard you try, you just couldn’t swallow it all down. a bit of cum spills out of your mouth as you force it down your throat.
niccolos breath softens as he looks you in the eyes.
“you’re a natural, eh?” he asks you.
“if that’s what you want to call it”, you reply.
he chuckled. “guess i should return the favor now, i’m just not sure if i’m as good as you.”
(breaking news! he’s wrong. very, very wrong.)
“that... would be nice.”
he lifts you up onto the counter as the cold surface is felt on your ass. niccolo is quick to pull down your pants, afterwards, the white blouse that you’re wearing is quickly discarded onto the floor. at this point, you’re clad in only your bra and panties.
niccolo pushes your legs apart, and pushes your panties, soaked in your arousal, aside. his eyes widen as he stares at your womanhood.
“you’re wet...” he says. “did i really make you that turned on?”
you nod. he makes quick work of his tongue as he places it in between your slick folds, eventuallly sliding it in your hole.
“ni-niccolo!” you gasp. he looks up at you with his hazel orbs, blonde hair all in his face. he gives you a smug smile, and speeds up his pace.
his tongue approaches your clit and gives it a little flick or two, and circles his tongue over the sensitive bundle of nerves. your legs buckle from the pleasure.
his tongue dives into your folds again and licks every fold you have, savoring the taste you provide him. eventually, his tongue once again plunged into your hole, sliding in and out repeatedly.
you tug his blonde locks as he goes in deeper and deeper, and the burn in your stomach turns into a fire. your legs twitch uncontrollably as you feel yourself nearing your end.
you whine as you feel the fire in your stomach take over your entire body, the sensation taking over you as you come on niccolos face. a sting of moans escapes from your mouth, crying out for niccolo to keep going and to help you through the orgasm. you feel your juices sliding down your pussy as niccolo laps them up like a kitten.
“you tasted wonderful”, he said. leaning against you on the cold granite counter, he kisses you again so you can taste yourself on his tongue. something pokes at your thigh, and as you look down, niccolo is already hard again.
“dammit”, he scoffs. “got a boner again. up for round two?”
giggling, you get on your knees once again and help him take care of his little problem.

“I Could Fall in Love”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Happy Valentine’s Day!
I hope you enjoy this little drabble as much as I enjoyed writing it. Cutting it close to midnight on Valentine’s Day but hey, it still counts. xx Moni
BUCKY BARNES X READER DRABBLE
Warnings: none, simply fluff!
Word Count: 3000+
Song Fanfic: Listen and enjoy!
~
It wasn’t that you hated Valentine’s Day, you just didn’t see it as purely romantic. In your opinion, it was supposed to represent so much more than just romantic love. Friendships, beginnings and endings, the actual historical event, elementary school card giving, baked goods, and a nice dinner for either yourself or in the presence of others. So, no - you didn’t hate it. In fact, you actually quite enjoyed the giddy feeling of seeing other couples go all out for a single day, the sweets that were always available, and the awesome discounts.
“Come with us!” Natasha whined, filling up her glass with some oat milk and passing Steve some utensils at the same time. She wasn’t whining excessively, as that wasn’t in her nature, but she did raise her voice as her tone shifted from playful to annoyance. You rolled your eyes and chewed on your bagel, shaking your head dramatically. You plastered on your best grin, but it was overpowered by the massive chunk of bagel in your mouth. So you sat there, stupid bagel-filled grin covering your face, and tiny giggles threatening to escape as Natasha’s face also dropped into a silly one.
The rest of the crew was planning on attending a private Valentine’s Day party hosted by a close business partner of Tony’s. It sounded like a lot of fun and a perfect excuse to dress-up, but you had a tiny mission to go on before it. It was not a ‘mission-mission’ so to say- more like a ‘get in, get out, this will literally take two seconds and I could do this any other day’ type of mission. Natasha had given you such a disapproving look when you told her what your actual plans were for tonight, but she expected nothing less. You always had something else up your sleeve.
     And that you did.
Since your mission was a quickie, you would be able to return to the compound before everyone else and bake your special pink cupcakes they all knew and loved. A sweet mixture of vanilla and strawberry, no flavor overpowering the other. You had recently perfected the recipe, only having Natasha and Bucky taste the final product, and because of their genuine surprise and praise, you were ready to bake dozens for everyone proudly.
She finished her glass and went to wash it. “Still, I think you’re missing out! I hear the food is gonna be great!”
You shrugged, “Eh, we have food here.”
You heard Natasha release a tiny scoff, “Please tell me your actual reason before I laugh too loudly and wake everyone up.”
“I swear, I’ve been putting off this mission for so long that tonight just seemed like the perfect time. Everyone’s occupied- I don’t know. I mean, criminals gotta get laid too, right?”
Natasha snorted, “That’s very true.” She eyed you suspiciously while drying her glass.
“You know, you and Barnes are the only one’s not attending. Obviously, his excuse is that he’s literally on a mission right now but you see my point.”
“No, I don’t see your point.”
Natasha smiled, as if secretly knowing your other very valid reason for not attending the party. “We all have dates. You know that if he were here you would be going with him, even as friends. But since you would literally be the only one of us without a date, it seems reasonable you wouldn’t want to attend.”
    Okay, she hit that spot-on.
You groaned and lay your arms across the counter dramatically, “Stop, it’s scary how right you are all the time.”
Natasha laughed and rounded the counter, going over to pat your shoulders. “I’m not making you go. Don’t worry. Just give yourself some self-care and I’ll see you tonight to let you know I got home safe.”
You nodded and waved goodbye to her, ready to finish the everything bagel you had abandoned.
Bucky wasn’t one to dress-up for a night out anymore. He just didn’t have the motivation to do anything unless it involved stake-outs, knitting, painting, and binge-watching some stupid series you were watching. It always happened the same way, too. You would be casually chilling in the main common room of the compound, barely starting the first episode of a new series with stacks of junk food ready for your eager taste buds, when Bucky would randomly come in and ask what you were watching. And the next thing Bucky knew, you two were discussing the hidden elements of The Crown and debating whether a scene actually happened the way it was portrayed. By God, how much Bucky absolutely detested Prince Charles.
And you were so determined to knit that sweater for Natasha by her birthday that you came to Bucky’s room five times a day now rather than your usual three. But Bucky was extremely patient, helping you hook the remaining yarn that kept falling off your needles. Each time you pouted over the ‘horrible knot you made’ or when the yarn would tangle, Bucky would grin and tease you about, his stomach twisting pleasurably.
And each time he would reach over to help you fix it, your heart fluttered ever so slightly.
Bucky had actually planned on taking you to that Valentine’s Day party but his mission carried on longer than it was supposed to. Rather than returning a day before the party, he would now be returning towards the middle of it. He wondered if you were still going to go, but he highly doubted it. Not because you had told him explicitly, but because you had joked that if he wasn’t able to go, then ‘why would you bother?’.
To see you in that red dress you had jokingly placed over your already clothed body and modeled for him - Yeah, he absolutely hated he was missing this party tonight.
His mission had just ended and he was currently on the flight home, resting in his tactical gear but with the headphones you let him borrow in each ear. He chuckled lowly, realizing that most things he had in his possession, whether that be the headphones, hair bands, lotion, and Spotify account, all belonged to you. It brought him some comfort as he fixed himself in his seat, settling on your ‘Love me please?’ playlist to match the special holiday.
Lovebug by the Jonas Brothers. Tonight by FM Static. Oh, dozens by Taylor Swift. You’ll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins. And a whole lot of Selena songs.
There was one song that caught his attention, as if the title spoke to him. It just made sense. He clicked it, surprised by the upbeat beginning and rhythm of the drums, finally closing his eyes as he heard the melody from the acoustic guitar.
He lost count of how many times he replayed that one song as his plane touched land. He quickly woke himself up and gathered his things, ready to jump into a warm shower and watch an episode of The Crown behind your back. The drive to the compound was short and he entered the living quarters somewhat alert. There were no sounds his super soldier ears could hear besides the clicks of keyboards by overtime workers and computers humming. Kind of sad and joyful at once, Bucky realized he was alone for the first time in a long time. Maybe he would try that face mask you had urged him to buy tonight. And those very comfortable pajamas.
Ever the procrastinator, you never did go on that mission.
You were humming along to your Valentine’s playlist as you cracked the eggs into your bowl. You stirred quickly, bowl in your arms and a strike of flour along your unknowing cheek. You had your earphones in, enjoying the solace of such a peaceful night. The mix was coming together nicely and as you waited for the oven to preheat, you took out all of your cupcake supplies to set on the kitchen counter.
You could have sworn you heard some noises a few doors down so you took one earphone out to listen closely. At first you heard nothing, but you could have sworn you heard the likes of a toothbrush tapping against a bathroom counter. But as you stood there comically, bowl in your arms and whisk held up like a weapon, you settled on no disturbance.
You set the bowl down quietly and ran over to the door, looking down the hallway. Once you saw it was completely empty, you couldn’t contain the grin that spread across your face. You raced back to the kitchen and called for Friday.
“Friday? Could you please connect my phone to the living room speakers, please?”
     “Done.”
You scrolled through your playlist and settled on a song that would for sure damage your vocal cords but delight you nonetheless.
“I could lose my heart tonight
If you don’t turn and walk away
You swayed around the kitchen as you traveled to grab each new ingredient, singing at the appropriate level the song called for.
Because the way I feel I might
Lose control and let you stay
Bucky had just finished brushing his teeth and putting a warm pair of socks on when he heard Friday play the exact song he had been listening to for the past two hours. At first he wondered if Friday had mistakenly connected his phone to the speakers but realized his phone didn’t even have the Spotify app open. He quickly walked down the cold floors of the hallway, his warm socks somewhat doing their job. He stopped at the living room entrance and leaned his shoulder on the doorway, beaming with a huge grin.
Because I could, take you in my arms
And never let go
You twirled around and used the whisk as a microphone, and to both your and Bucky’s surprise, hit every note perfectly. Bucky knew you were a great singer and although he would never admit it, he had heard you singing in the shower quite a few times. It was impossible not to at the level of volume you sang, but each time he would come into your room to grab something random or to ask you a question, he would sit outside the shower door and listen to your angelic voice as it sailed through the steamy air and into Bucky’s ears. But here you were, belting out the exact song Bucky had just learned all the lyrics for on his way home.
I could fall, in love, with you
It was in that moment that Bucky realized he was in his ‘comfortable pajamas’, which consisted of a loose long sleeve and bottoms set, with a nice dark blue color and white stitching along the pockets and buttons. But the sleeves, incredibly so, were far too long for his arms so he would crunch them up in his palms. And his socks had stripes on them. But he remained still on the door frame, watching you sway to the music and enjoying the scent of your first batch of cupcakes already in the oven.
I could only wonder how touching you
Would make me feel
You halted immediately when you saw his tall form resting on the door frame, a giant grin plastered on his newly shaven face. You yelped in surprise, putting down the whisk and patting your hands on your little green apron.
“Bucky, oh my god! Say something if you’re going to enter a room!”
Bucky just shrugged, walking over to the kitchen counter, eyes never leaving yours. He leaned over and placed his chin in both his palms, smiling as the music continued playing in the background. “I like this song.”
You squinted at him, “You know this song?”
Bucky nodded, holding his hand out now for you to take. “Like I said, I like this song.”
But if I take that chance right now
Tomorrow will you want me still?
You reached over hesitantly and let Bucky lead you over to the carpet. He wrapped one arm around your waist and rested the other higher up on your back. You wrapped your arms around his neck, allowing for his large frame to sway you both to the rhythm of the song.
     “Nice pajamas.”
     “Shut up.”
The room was dimly lit, cupcake aroma circling you two, and his snuggly pajamas seemed to also provide you the warmth you were previously getting from the oven. You smiled up at him, low giggles emitting from your lips. He did the same, enjoying the feel of your body pressed up against his.
So I should, keep this to myself
And never let you know
“When did you get back?” you asked, reaching up to touch his shaven cheek. You were undoubtedly curious about the feeling.
Bucky let you roam your hand all over, “About an hour ago. I didn’t think anyone was here.”
You chuckled, “I am! I told you I wasn’t going to bother going to that party if my plus one wasn’t coming!”
Bucky lifted his arm and twirled you slowly, happy that you followed his lead. “So, I’m your plus one now?”
     You rolled your eyes, “Always.”
I could fall, in love, with you
“How did you even hear about this song?” you asked, hands now resting comfortably on Bucky’s chest. He had his arms wrapped around you, hugging you to his chest as you two swayed.
“We share a Spotify account, doll.”
“Yeah, but it’s a love playlist. Were you just in the mood for some ballads and stumbled across this one?”
      “Exactly. It’s quite the tearjerker.”
And I know it’s not right
And I guess I should try
To do what I should do
He looked so relaxed at this moment, fresh and calm, enjoying the dance he pulled you into. He was resting his chin on the top of your head so you felt his little puffs of air escape his nostrils. And as he breathed in, you could feel his chest rise and lower below your palms. You were tempted to reach up and grab his face, pull him into yourself and share a sweet kiss, but you decided against it. For some reason you knew that this was different. You had snuggled before during naps or binge watching, but they never had a romantic undertone. And if you acted upon your desires, you were frightened it just might ruin your friendship. It took you two years to build up such a rapport with this man, and dare you say you were extremely proud to harbor some of his deepest secrets, and him yours. But his breathing calmed you immensely, as if the gentle rhythm was enough to put you to sleep, and you wondered if he was thinking about the same thing.
But I fall in love, with you
So I should, keep this to myself
And never let you know
Bucky seemed to hug you tighter as the lyrics encircled the room. Over the last few weeks he had felt a shift in your relationship, where sharing food was no longer as innocent as it seemed, barging into each other’s room was not seen as drastic, and partaking in each other’s hobbies was never a bore. Steve had commented on it before, asking Bucky if there was something between you two. And Bucky confided in both Steve and Sam, hands pulling at his hair as he paced in a safe room and his friends sitting patiently on the lone couch. They let him act out his worries in peace, and once Bucky tired himself out they both explained how he should ask you out or how to bring up the topic with you. Bucky listened intently and pushed down the tiny voice in his head that joked about Steve being the one to give him romantic advice. But if he ended up with you on his arm after this little pep talk, it would all be worth it.
But now the song was coming closer to its end, and he knew that if he didn’t act now then he probably wouldn’t have the courage to bring it up ever again. He leaned down to your left ear, and whispered the lyrics to you. In Spanish.
Siempre estoy soñando en ti
Besando mis labios, acariciando mi piel
Abrazándome con ansias locas
Imaginando que me amas
Como yo podía amar a ti
[I am always dreaming of you
Kissing my lips and touching my skin
Anxiously hugging me
Imagining that you love me
Like how I love you]
You knew Bucky knew several languages. You knew. But it made you incredibly excited and hot that he specifically knew Spanish. He spoke in such a gentle manner, breath hitting your skin and voice practically drowning your mind. It was all foggy for a moment, but you quickly refocused your attention on his face.
     “Oh, wow.”
      Bucky smiled, “What?”
You scoffed and swatted his chest lightly, “Don’t ‘what’ me! You just confessed you like me!”
Bucky pushed you away for another twirl under his arm, but kept you at arms length once you turned around. “No, I confessed I love you.”
You stumbled slightly, staring at him with wide eyes. You thought about how absurd that confession was, but as quickly as that thought entered your mind, it left - because let’s face it, you did know each other for over two years and were best friends. This was right. This felt right.
     “You love me?”
Bucky breathed in deeply but your reaction didn’t change his mind. It was now or never. “Yeah, I do. Seemed like the moment to tell you.”
You grinned, pushing your body forward to be engulfed by his strong arms once more. “And to think you could have just told me at this damn party when I was looking all hot without freaking flour on my face.”
Bucky let out a loud laugh that originated from the pit of his stomach and reached his hands up to your face. He pulled you in and kissed you sweetly, the taste of your lip gloss driving him wild. He tasted like toothpaste and chapstick, a perfect combination for your superhero.
“I love you, too.” Bucky let his eyes close in complete bliss.
You could have stayed like that forever, but as you left his lips and looked up at him, you suddenly remembered you never set a timer.
You pushed Bucky away, your sudden strength sending him backwards onto the couch. “My cupcakes!”
And as you rushed to pull the burnt tops from the oven, you could hear Bucky slide off the couch and hit the floor, his laugh louder than the speakers.
I could fall, in love
With you.”

Happy Valentine’s Day. All the love. xxMoni

While doing an interview you happened to crack a smile along with a soft giggle when the reporter asked a certain question, what you didn’t notice was your giggle and smile had attracted Jensen. Just like it always does.
“Oh man,” He slightly whispers as the corner of his lips begin to lift,
It was at that moment he realized, he was madly in love with you.
You were absolute breathtaking, your smile alone was enough for him, it has been, for five years now. When you first appeared on the show he was taken back by your talent and beauty, but never thought too much about it. It wasn’t until he got to know you well when his feelings began to develop fast. He’s shared his feelings with Jared, even if he knew he would get teased by the giant every time you’d walked by, but he never did share them with you. Fearing you wouldn’t see him the same and fearing in ruining your friendship, even if he had a feeling you did feel the same with all the flirtatious comments you both send each other, Jensen kept his hope to the side.
But now with five years passing and your friendship only growing stronger, along with his feelings, he was on edge of breaking. Only thing stopping him was his conscience. However, seeing you in your favorite AC/DC t-shirt, with your hair flowing perfectly down your shoulders and wide smile plastered on your face finally made the knot break loose in his chest. He was doing it. Officially.
Once all the interviews were taken care of and all the cameras have stopped rolling, Jensen made his way over to you, placing his hand on your waist as both your handlers escorted you both out of the room. You smile up at him and snake your own arm around his back as you two walk down the hallway and towards the elevators. While waiting you let your head lean against his shoulder, but soon feel fingers gently lifting your head up and then a pair of lips against your own. Immediately, you smile against his lips and kiss back.
“‘Bout time Ackles,” You whisper to him, a smile plastering on his own face before bending down once again,
You two pull away when the elevator stops on your floor, but don’t pull away from each other’s hold when you two get on. Riding hand in hand, you let your head rest on his shoulder once again, letting a happy sigh escape from your lips. Five years. Five long fucking years it has been of you keeping your feelings tucked away. Shielded from the world, well the only one who knew would be Gen, after three glasses of whine you had just spilled it all on her. She of course would do almost anything to tease you when the man was around, or would always invite the both of you whenever they had a barbecue going on and would always make sure the only available seats were right next to each other. Shoulder to shoulder.
The first time it happened you sent her a glare, which she only smirks in return, but after the fifth time you had gotten use to her games and would sit down without a fuss. You had gotten accustomed to sitting next to Jensen, why? Well before you would feel nervous and tense being too close to him, however, those feelings soon faded into the wind. Now, it was just a routine for the both of you. If one of you were not sitting next to each other for any event it just didn’t feel right for neither of you, especially during panels. Luckily, the both of you were actors to hide the disappointment in your faces whenever you two had to be sitting apart from each other.
Once off the elevator, both your handlers guided you two towards your next stop. Before walking through the doors, Jensen stops you by your waist and pulls you flushed against him as he bends down to place a gentle kiss on your lips. You pull away with a smile, feeling your cheeks grow hot when you hear wolf whistles.
“About Damn time!” Jared calls out as he walks towards you two with Misha right beside him,
Jensen only rolls his eyes with a small grin, pulling you tighter against him when he caught a glimpse of your shyness.
“Yeah I was actually debating whether or not to set up a parent trap in the closet or something,” Misha comments as he stood beside Jensen, slightly patting him on the shoulder,
“Eh technically we did once, but it backed fired immediately,” Jared reminds the other male who only chuckles at the memory,
“That’s right! The fire alarm went off! What a shame,” Jensen rolls his eyes with a shake of his head,
“Will you two clowns just get out there already?” He humorously tells both males,
Jared chuckles as he slaps Misha’s chest, “C’mon Mish, let love birds here get some alone time,”
As soon as Jared walks out the door, the roaring screams are heard, even when it shuts.
Patting Jensens arm with a smile he looks at the both of you, “I’m happy for you two,”
“Thank you Misha,” You smile up at him, snaking an arm around Jensen’s waist,
“Keep it PG-13 though, alright?”
“Fuck off,” Jensen gently shoves the mans shoulder, earning a soft chuckle before he walks out the door,
Once it was just you two behind the closed door, Jensen fully turns you to face him. Glancing into those apple green orbs of his, you let a smile spread on your face as you let a hand settle on his cheek.
“I’ll see you in a few, okay?” He whispers, lightly squeezing your waist,
You nod at him with a smile as you bring him down for a final peck on the lips. Before pulling away he places another quick peck on your head just as you walk out the doors with him following close behind. Glancing behind your shoulder you sent him a wink and watch as he grins at you. A firm hand settles on your lower back as you two continue walking towards the signing booth, not noticing how a few fans with cameras captures the moment when he places yet another peck on the side of your temple. News traveled rather fast, but you could have cared less, you knew it wouldn’t have stayed silent for long, the way you felt toward Jensen was obvious. You were just glad it was out there, you knew you wouldn’t be able to play the hidden game very well and you would lose every time.
But you also knew you would have lost purposely. Being without his touch was nearly impossible for you, so yeah, losing would definitely be on purpose.

Read on Ao3 - The Girl at the Library
Summary: Levi is a college student who needs help on his research paper. Luckily, Hange is a book worm and works at the library.
Levi was stressed and annoyed, mainly because he was in college. Of course with college comes infinite amounts of homework assignments, 100-question exams with astronomical amounts of topics on them, unnecessary research papers, and staying in a dorm room with a kid that happens to have no problem inviting his friends over every night to hang out and party with no regards to his sullen roommate.
Levi had a paper coming up. He had to come up with a topic, find sources, and finish his paper by the end of the semester. With three weeks left to go, he decided he’d rather get it over with. He began his brainstorming in the study lounge at the center of his dormitory floor. He was starting to stress. He sat on the big yellow leather couch in the way-too-bright study lounge with his laptop in his lap. He tapped his pen against his head as he tried to think of an idea.
“You have to write about a topic related to your major,” The professor explained. “This is the one and only paper you will have assigned this semester. I suggest you get it done as early as possible.”
If only it were that easy. He had the rubric pulled up in one tab, and a ton of “How to pick a research topic” websites in others. His major was pharmaceuticals, a field he was inspired to take on because of his mother. She was very ill when he was very young, so they were in and out of hospitals. He was sitting on the edge of his mother’s hospital bed when a nurse came in the room to administer her medications.
“This is…” His memory was blurry. “This medication will help… and make you feel better.” And it did. 9 year old Levi was fascinated. This one little pill or bag of what looked like water helped his mother feel better. Within hours, his mother’s skin went from pallor to beige. Her hands were warmer. She looked more awake, more alive. She didn’t wince at Levi’s touch. She was in less pain. She got better, like the nurse predicted.
Since then, Levi always asked questions whenever they visited the hospitals again and again. “What kind of drug is that?” “What does it do?” “How long does it take to take effect?”
Levi recalled the memory with a deep sigh. He missed his mother. She was at home, not too far away. Levi never had the time to travel the hour through the big city to visit her. When he did have free time, he spent it studying or sleeping. He felt his heart twinge at this. She had sacrificed everything to help him attend college and to give him a good life.
Now with his head cloudy, he went to reach his water bottle in his backpack. He opened the lid and took a sip. At that moment, he could hear some obnoxiously loud students throwing tennis balls back and forth to each other. He recognized these kids too, they were some (of many) of the lovely visitors his roommate had over most nights. Suddenly in the blink of an eye, Levi’s water bottle spilled all over his laptop, a tennis ball on the floor next to him, and some worried voices approaching him. Within seconds, the laptop started to steam and the screen went black.
His laptop was fried, he determined. He felt heat start to rise inside of him.
“Oh my god, man. I am so sorry,” One of the kids said, trying to hold back a laugh.
“Yeah, man. We didn’t mean to.”
Levi took a deep breath and stood up. These kids… were gonna pay.
He closed his broken laptop and stood up. These kids were much taller than him, but looked to be easily intimidated by Levi’s presence.
“Do you have the money to pay for this?” He sneered, getting very close to their faces.
“Eh… no, but we have jobs! We can pay you back over time,” One of the kids trailed off. They seemed to be intimidated by the short man. “You live in 112 right?”
Levi nodded, his face heating up with anger. “This laptop cost me a lot of money.”
“We get it, man! We said we’re sorry,” the other kid explained. “We’ll pay you back or whatever.”
“Tch,” Levi clicked. He was extremely pissed. These kids should not be throwing balls at each other in the hallway. Also, they spilled his water which made a mess. “Which room are you both in?” They responded with 118. The one kid explained they get paid on the 15th and 30th of each month. Luckily, their pay day was 4 days away.
“I’ll stop by Tuesday, the 16th,” Levi decided, before gathering his things and heading to the stairs. He began to walk through the campus. Fuck, now where was he gonna go? How was he gonna find his topics? His computer was fucked. Putting it in rice wouldn’t have helped. He was so occupied having a debate with himself about where to research, he almost missed it. If he looked the other way or even blinked in that moment, he wouldn’t have seen it. It was the campus library. No, not the campus library, but a campus library. It blended into the surroundings, hidden from the passerbyers. There was a sign in the window “We’re Open!”.
The library was small, to say the least. It was old fashioned, which contrasted the modern aesthetic of the university. It was a small, dark brown, wooden building with four-pane windows. The door was a lighter shade of brown. He decided it was easier to check out this little library instead of walking another 10 minutes to get to the main library. He didn’t have time to waste. He had to get started with his paper right away. He walked up to the door and opened it. When he did, a little bell rang at the doorway.
“Just a minute!” A woman’s voice called from the back. Levi decided to wander around. There were many books crammed on the shelves. There were two computers on each side when he walked in. They looked out of place, considering they were very modern compared to the architecture of the library itself. The books were all shades of bright, vibrant colors. It was strange. From the outside, it seemed creepy and gloomy. Once he walked in, it was very cozy. The dark walls of the library contrasted the beautiful colors of the books.
Then, he saw the woman come out. She came up to the desk. He expected an elderly lady with her glasses on a chain, but he assumed this woman was a student. She was a young woman who wore thin oval glasses and her brown hair thrown up in a messy half-up-half-down ponytail.
“Hi!” The woman said. “How can I help you?”
“I want to use a computer, please,” He announced. He glanced at her nametag which hung like a necklace around her neck. “Hange” was the name on the tag. It was strange and unordinary, but it had a nice ring to it. The name seemed to suit her.
“Sure! You are allowed up to two hours a day,” Hange explains. “You can choose whichever computer you’d like.”
The computers were unoccupied. In fact, the entire library seemed vacant except for him and the employee.
“Does anyone actually come here?” Levi asked, setting his stuff down next to a desk, and looking her way. She looked like someone who would work at a library.
The brunette chuckled. “You are my third visitor today!” She exclaimed proudly. It was already about 3pm. He remembered the sign in the front says “12pm-6pm weekdays”.
Levi chuckled silently, air huffed out his nose. “How do you stay in business?”
“Well, the university thinks it’s good to have a small library in the outskirts of the campus so students have access to books and computers because the main campus library is in the center of the plaza. Sometimes we get about ten people a day, and sometimes they don’t even take anything out. Sometimes I wonder how…” She began to ramble now. She definitely has not had anyone else visit her today.
She was starting to get on his nerves. It’s been 20 minutes since he arrived, and she was still talking. He zoned out until she caught his attention.
“Hey,” She said. “What’s your name? I have to track whoever comes in to use the computers.”
Why? No one else comes in. He noticed her clipboard with the sign-ins was blank.
“Levi Ackerman,” He announced. She scribbled his name down. “Okay, it’s 3:30 now, so you have till 5:30 if needed.” She pointed to the clock with her pen as she explained. He nodded and proceeded to walk towards the table with the computer he claimed. He sat down and began working.
-
He was an hour into his research when he finally threw his hands up in the air in frustration. He still couldn’t think of a topic. He groaned aloud.
Hange was leaning against the main desk, her nose stuck in a book. “How Trees Communicate” was the title. When she heard the young man groan, she looked up.
“Is everything okay?” She asked, peering over her book at him.
“Yeah, yeah,” He mumbled. “Fine…”
Hange raised an eyebrow. She placed her bookmark at her spot, then strolled around the desk and walked over to him.
“What are you working on?” She asked, sitting in the seat next to him and put her hands on her knees, looking at him curiously. He scoffs. It was none of her business, he thought to himself. And it’s an invasion of privacy.
He was frustrated and desperate. Hoping for a miracle, he managed to tell her anyways.
“I need a topic for my paper and I can’t think of any…” Levi began. “It needs to be based on pharmaceuticals, my major. It also needs scientific evidence to back up my research…”
She was fully absorbed in what he had to say. She was bored, so helping Levi would’ve been something to do at least. Besides, Levi was in luck. She was an avid reader, always reading about anything and everything. She was studying plants and botanicals, but she found herself frequently taking out books about cooking; religion; war; animals; and medical topics including surgery, pathophysiology, anatomy, and pharmaceuticals.
“What about how diuretics affect blood pressure?” Hange suggested. Levi was taken aback. His eyebrows furrowed, and he shook his head in confusion. “Or if anti-alzheimer drugs actually help slow the progression of Alzheimer’s? Why do you take different medications during certain stages of Alzheimer’s disease? Or how do anti-seizure medications work? That is something I ask myself all the time. You take this little pill and BOOM! You’ll be fine, no seizure! Oh, oh, oh! Or, how certain medications cause certain adverse effects? How come so many medications cause anxiety?” Her eyes started to light up as she talked. They were a dark brown, but when she started to talk, they seemed to morph to a captivating hazel. He felt he could see every color in her eyes. He saw brown and green and the little lines of her iris. Hange’s hands would move as she talked, and her smile grew wide. She couldn’t keep still. She was getting excited by coming up with all these ideas. She seemed so passionate and so willing to help; he was overwhelmed by her.
Levi was in shock. His day started off horrible. Now, he was almost glad his laptop was fucked. This woman was making his mind race with ideas.
“Are you okay?” Hange asked for the second time within his visit there. Levi nodded slowly. “I am just… How do you know all that? Are you a med student?”
Hange chuckled and waved her hand at him. “No… I am a bookworm! Also, my mom is a nurse, so she used to teach me about nursing stuff all the time. Oh! You could write about the pathophysiology of anticholinergics! Or beta blockers! Or how the body reacts to the use of long-term steroids?”
Levi took a deep breath. He felt euphoric. He had been casually trying to think of topics since last week. All of a sudden, this woman can just ramble off hundreds of ideas? Levi smiled visibly.
“Actually… I really like the final topic you suggested. About steroids.” Levi admitted.
Hange smiled back at him. “Great! I can try to help you find some sources or books.” She directed him to open a new tab and to go to a certain database. “This is where you can find reliable sources. Over here,” She pointed to his screen at the left side. “You can add filters. You can change how old or new you’d like the sources to be, filter out certain words or phrases, et cetera.” She had been closer to him now; she scooted her chair closer so she could explain the database to him. It was hard not to look at her as she explained. She was captivating.
Levi began to type in words for his topic.
“Steroids”, “Long-term use”, “Cushing’s Disease”, “Addison’s Disease”, “Addisonian Crisis”, “Pathophysiology”.
He felt like he was finally getting somewhere. He was finally making progress.
-
As Levi was walking home, he couldn’t get his mind off that girl. He decided to brainstorm about his topic in his room once he got there. The thing was, though, he couldn’t think of any more ideas. He found it funny. Of course he was full of ideas and inspiration when he visited that library, but now he’s void of any.
-
Levi’s weekends were no different than the weekdays. He made it appoint to visit the library again the next day, Saturday. It was a sunny, cool Saturday morning. Levi had inspiration to write. He needed a computer and Hange’s ideas. When he arrived, it seemed busy. There were three other patrons at the library.  He recognized Hange right away, helping a tall blonde man with a big nose. He wondered if she was the only employee there. The man she was helping was taller than her, so she had to reach up on her toes to point to items. She was an average height, but this action made her seem shorter than she actually was.
Hange looked his way and greeted him with a toothy smile. Levi waved at her and started to head down one of the aisles of books. He was in the nonfiction section, but was lost. For now, he just casually browsed the section, but quickly got impatient. He needed Hange’s help to find books for this paper. He heard her laugh with the patron. Maybe he’s a friend, he thought to himself. Her laugh was airy and full of heart. It seemed genuine and passionate. Levi felt an urge to make her laugh, too.
She finally made her way over to him. Levi was looking down at a book when she caught his eye. “Hey, stranger!” She greeted him with a wave. “Whatcha looking for?” She placed her hands on her hips.
“I’m trying to find some sources for my paper. Steroids is the topic,” Levi explained.
“Oh, right. I remember! After you left last night, I tried to look for some books for your topic,” She said. She was trying to help me? Levi thought to himself.
She curled her finger in a “follow me” gesture and he did. She brought him to another aisle or two over from where they were. “These are the 600’s, where you’ll most likely find what you’re looking for. I found a book or two about Addison’s disease, but it’s more of a memoir. You can look around though if you’d like. Anything in the 610’s should be right up your alley.” She explained as if she was going to leave, but she didn’t. Hange looked for books with him.
After a moment, she made a noise. “Look at this!” She exclaimed. She reached next to him to reach for a book. She was on her toes again. “Mmmm,” She moaned as she tried to reach. “Actually, I’m gonna get the step stool. I don’t think I can reach it.” Quickly, she left and came back with the stool. It looked unreliable, but Levi was sure he’d be able to prevent any accident from occurring. Hange placed it on the ground and stepped up on it, grabbing the book with ease. She stepped down with the book in her hand. This book had a white cover with a blue label and was titled “Coping with Prednisone”. Levi was surprised she even knew what prednisone was.
“Here!” She reached it out for him to grab. He took it and looked at her face. She had that same look in her eyes. “Did you want to use the computer?” He nodded and she led him towards the front of the library. The library was small from the outside, but very deep inside. It reminded him of a forest.
“I got your name, don’t worry,” She said, clicking her pen and writing his name down on the sheet.
“Oops!” Hange made a quick grimace. “I added an ‘e’ at the end. I’ll just cross it out.” The statement sounded like it was addressed to herself rather than to anyone else. She crossed out the extra letter.
“Ackermane”. Levi was gonna attempt to make her laugh.
“If you thought I looked like a horse you could’ve just said so.”
Mane, horse mane. Get it?
It felt like forever before Hange responded. She looked up at him, starting to laugh. It was a short but audible laugh. Her head nodded back and she smiled. Her cheeks turned pink and her eyes lit up for a moment. It made his heart skip a beat. It was a bad joke yet she still laughed. She chuckled. Giggled? No. Laughed lightly. Chortled? Maybe that’s the right word. Whatever it was, he wanted to do it more, maybe even more than that.
He followed her to the computers. The blonde guy she was helping earlier was on one computer. She led him to the two computers across from the other ones and sat down in the chair next to him.
“What are you doing?” Levi asked, placing the book she found for him on the table.
Her eyebrows raised, and after a moment she reacted. She waved her hands in front of her.
“I’m sorry! I thought you may have needed help. I should get back to work anyway. I gotta go through a new box of books that just came in.”
Levi looked up at her. Is she blushing? he asked himself.
“I’ll let you know if I need help.” Levi responded. She smiled at him before quickly walking away.
-
He started to find some evidence-based practice articles about how steroids can cause long-term side effects, especially if stopped abruptly. He made sure to keep the tabs available. He’d have to cite them later. Levi’s mind was racing with words and sentences and ideas. He had to get them down on paper. He opened Documents on the computer and started typing away.
The clicking of the keyboard soothed him. He was a pretty fast typer, he didn’t make many mistakes either. The library around him began to become quiet as his typing got louder and he got deeper in thought. Before he knew it, his two hours were up. He felt someone approach him from his right.
“Hey,” Hange said, gently tapping the table next to him. “It’s 2pm. I gotta close up.”
Levi snapped out of his focused trance with a quick head shake. “Right. Sorry.” He pulled out a flash drive from his backpack and plugged it into the computer. He transferred his document. “I got the first page done.”
Levi asked himself for a brief moment why he was sharing this information with someone he just met. Maybe since she helped him, he felt she should know.
“That’s great! It seemed like you were really focused,” Hange said, walking away to shut off some lights. Only then did he notice the white noise of the overhead lights quickly dissipate. The room buzzed with silence now. Levi and Hange were alone in the library. Suddenly, Levi felt nervous. He watched Hange walk around the room frantically, making sure to shut off all the lights and computers. She grabbed a bag. The bag was a fabric material with a patchwork design that had a long strap that hung on on her shoulder. Maybe she made it herself. She grabbed her big mess of keys and walked towards him.
“Ready?” She said. He nodded and walked outside, holding the door for her. She thanked him, locking the door behind her. They began to walk down the street slowly.
“Want to grab lunch?” Hange asked, looking at him. Levi looked back at her. She looked pretty.
“Sure, I can eat.” Hange chuckled at that. He didn’t try, but it made her happy for a brief moment. He seemed nervous but she was too.
They decided to eat at a cute restaurant on campus called “Life in Paradis”. It was a small, dainty place with a green and yellow checkered awning. The building was made of yellow brick, and the door was bright green. There were flower pots outside on the windowsill. Again, this place seemed totally out of place in the modern aesthetic of the university.
“This place is adorable!” Hange exclaimed. “I love the food here. You’ll love it too. They have all kinds of food here.” Levi felt a smile grow on his face. The way she talked made his heart flutter. She was always so passionate. They entered and got a table for two. This is not a date, Levi kept telling himself. Then why were his cheeks red?
They sat down and looked through a menu. Levi wasn’t extremely hungry even though he hadn’t had anything but tea this morning. He peered over his menu to look at the girl. Her hair was different today, he determined. Today all her hair was in a ponytail, and it was higher on her head. She wore a light yellow button-down with a long, light blue cardigan. Hange caught him staring at her and blushed.
“What would you two like to order?” The waitress asked him first.
“I’m gonna get a sandwich, I think,” He said, crossing his arms across his chest. “Turkey sub.” “I think I’m gonna get a chicken caesar salad,” Hange said. He nodded, grabbed the menus, and walked away.
Hange began to talk about how beautiful the flowers outside the restaurant were. They were all variants of pink, purple, yellow, and red. She described the petals and the leaves, the flowers’ origins, and all the meanings of the flowers. Levi wasn’t annoyed by her tangent this time. He actively listened to this girl talk about what fascinated her so much. He found it soothing. It made him wonder how her brain can contain all the information she was spewing at him. He enjoyed watching the way her eyes lit up when she talked. The beautiful green that blossomed at the bottom of her irises when the light hit her eyes at the right angle. The way her lips curled into a big smile when she talked to him. Her cheeks flush to a light pink when she describes the petals of the flowers or how flowers were used to express feelings when words cannot. It made his heart race.
“Levi,” Hange said. Her affect was the opposite of earlier when she was rambling. She wore a frown on her face, feeling guilty.“I’ve been rambling… sorry. It’s such a bad habit of mine. I can talk for hours and hours.”
“Don’t apologize, four-eyes,” Levi replied, leaning his elbows and forearms on the table in a crossed position. Hange smiled at him. Levi meant it. She shouldn’t apologize for talking, especially if it’s about something she loves. The food had arrived at the table. They ate. Levi felt the need to open up to her about something. He already learned so much about her, and her presence made him feel like he can open up.
“I like to run,” Levi said abruptly. Hange looked at him intently, chewing on a forkful of salad. “I don’t do it competitively or anything, but I enjoy running. I try to run once or twice a day.” Hange’s eyebrows raised and she nodded in agreement.
“That’s awesome!” She smiled again at him. “I like to run too. I’m really slow and get tired easily, but I enjoy feeling the wind in my hair and feeling my heart pound.” She took a bite of her meal again. Levi nodded and began to eat too. This sandwich was really good.
-
After talking some more about hobbies and school, they both finished their meal. The waiter brought over the check. Hange reached into her pocket for her wallet.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Levi asked. Hange furrowed her brows.
“I invited you out to lunch. I will pay,” Hange determined, her wallet now in her hands.
“No,” Levi said too quickly. “I will pay. It’s the least I can do. You helped me with my paper after all.”
The bickering lasted a very long minute. Before she got to think of the idea, Levi grabbed the checkbook and shoved his card inside before handing it to the waiter. Hange looked surprised. She sighed, putting her wallet away.
“Thank you, Levi. But you really didn’t have to.”
“I wanted to.”
In all honesty, Hange didn’t have much money. She worked at that library four times a week, but the money she made went towards paying off her tuition. She really wanted to treat this man, her new friend. She wasn’t sure if he thought the same way about her. Did he consider her his friend? She felt slightly embarrassed. She did most of the talking and felt like she was annoying him. Maybe he just wanted to pay so she would lay off.
But the truth is, Levi felt the opposite way of how she was thinking. He was interested to hear more from her. He was addicted to the way his heart raced when he saw her.
-
Over the next couple of days, Levi would go to that library whenever he was available. He knew it was closed on Sunday, so he went Monday and Tuesday to the library. Fortunately, he got his first batch of money from the brats that fried his computer. He received $100. Of course it was not enough, but it was a start. Wednesday the 17th came around. This specific day was a wild card. The weather was unpredictable. Levi entered the library just in time; it had started to downpour. The little bell rang as he entered the library. To his surprise, Hange was not working that day. There was a boy behind the counter who was tall and had a brown bowl cut hairstyle.  He almost thought about turning around and leaving when he realized she wasn’t there. The rain charged towards the earth viciously, so he decided to seek shelter in the small library. It almost looked like a hurricane. He felt his mood change into a bad one. He didn’t remember to ask how often she worked.
“Hi there!” The man said. His name tag read “Moblit”. That’s a dumb name.
“I wanna use a computer,” Levi muttered, walking up to the main desk.
“Okay. Name?” Moblit grabbed the clipboard and a pen.
“Levi Ackerman.”
“Oh, I see you’ve been here before. A lot, actually.” Levi scoffed and rolled his eyes at his comment. He turned around, picked a computer, and sat down. He felt really stupid to not ask her about her schedule.
The two hours he spent working on his paper was incredibly slow. He didn’t get much done that day. He had writer’s block. He was almost done, so he didn’t worry about it too much. He didn’t know Hange’s schedule. He knew she worked Friday, the day they met; Saturday; Monday, and Tuesday. Maybe she only worked four times a week? Before he knew it, he asked Moblit aloud. It was almost an accident.
“Uh, she’ll be in on Friday,” Moblit replied. He probably couldn’t give out that information to some creep who began visiting daily with an attitude. He muttered a “thanks” before finishing up and heading out. The weather was holding up for now, so he decided to make a run for it. He didn’t say goodbye to Moblit.
He didn’t have an umbrella. The sun was trying to shine through the dark, eerie clouds. It wasn’t trying hard enough. He heard thunder rumbling in the distance.
Levi realized that this girl was all he thought about the past few days. Something about her enticed him. Something about her eyes and her presence drew him towards her. His heart skipped a beat whenever she’d graze his hand on accident, or even when she just talked to him. She made him happy. He hadn’t had too many friends in college. Although they just met last week, he felt a deep connection with her.
Suddenly, the sun poked through the clouds for a brief moment. The world lit up. It was at that moment he recognized a familiar face. Hange. She was walking towards him. She grinned when she saw him. She wore a fitted black t-shirt and baggy, light blue jeans.
“Levi!” She exclaimed. “I forgot my jacket in the library, so I came down to get it.”
“You didn’t tell me you weren’t working today.” Is all Levi said. Once he said it, he realized how creepy it must’ve sounded. A man she just met happens to go to this library to work on his project every day, who happens to come up with multiple reasons to interact with her. Maybe she thought he was a perv.
“Ehh!” She sighed. “I’m sorry! I thought I told you I was off today.” Levi shook his head. The comment itself may have sounded rude, but it wasn’t. She genuinely felt bad. “Walk with me.” Levi followed. Guess not.
“I don’t work Wednesday’s and Thursday’s. Well I’m not supposed to be,” Hange explained. “Mobilt, one of my co-workers, is always calling out sick. So I basically run the place.” They walked towards the library again and entered.
“Hey, Moblit. How’s it going?” Hange said in a normal tone, heading towards the back of the library. Moblit responded briefly, following Hange. Levi decided to hang back, he figured it was a secure area. He looked around awkwardly.
“Hange, you didn’t tell me you had a boyfriend,” Moblit said, following her towards the back.
Hange chuckled nervously. “He’s not my boyfriend,” she said bluntly. “He’s just a friend.” Moblit scoffed, rolling his eyes. “If he’s not your boyfriend, how come his mood entirely changed once he saw you?”
Hange found her jacket, folding it over her forearm. “Huh?”
“He was, like, in a bad mood when he came in. He used the computer but he seemed to be pissed or something. Now that he’s with you, he seems… tolerable.”
Hange laughed, feeling her cheeks blush. “It’s nothing like that. People have bad days, you know.”
Hange rolled her eyes and smirked, then headed towards the front of the library. “Ready?” Levi nodded and turned around.
“See you Friday,” Moblit called out. “See ya.” Hange replied.
The two started walking down the street. The air smelt of rain, and the ground was wet from the rain earlier. “Which building is your dorm in?” Hange asked. He was a bit surprised she asked him that, and she was so direct about it.
“Saint Maria,” He replied. She smiled. “Me too! I can’t believe I haven’t seen you around!” The wind picked up and the sky turned darker than before. They both looked up. “If you can’t make it to the library, you can use my desktop in my dorm room,” Hange offered. Levi’s cheeks turned bright red.
“Thanks, maybe tomorrow I can stop by,” Levi said. It was more of him thinking aloud than a statement. It was too late though, Hange already heard him. He could’ve sworn he didn’t say it aloud.
“That’s fine! I only have a class early tomorrow morning. Come by around 11, okay? My room number is 506.” Levi nodded. Thunder rolled and sounded closer now. They were almost at the dormitory building when it started to downpour. The rain was forcefully coming down on the two. Levi groaned in annoyance. He hated being in the rain. He hated being wet; he hated the wet socks and how gross he felt when it rained. He would’ve started to run to the building to seek cover, but he was taken aback by his new friend.
She was soaked and embracing it. She lifted her head up to face the sky and she laughed. It was loud, happy, genuine, and it took Levi’s breath away. Hange reached her hands out wide and spun around. He saw a strike of lightning light up the sky. He stared at her in awe. His heart swelled. Levi smiled big. After laughing, Hange looked at Levi and shared the look that he wore just a few moments ago. She loved his smile. She wished to make him smile more. She was also determined to make him laugh, too.
She grabbed his hand. “Let’s take cover!” And she pulled him into the dormitory hall. Saint Maria’s hall was beautiful. It had ceiling-to-floor glass pane windows that were always crystal clear. There was a big black modern chandelier that hung from the ceiling. It contained visible light bulbs. Hange secretly loved it. There were the same big, yellow, leather couches in the living room as there were in the study area on his floor. They both wiped their feet off on the big rug in the entryway.
“I love the rain,” Hange deduced, turning her head to look at him. As if Levi couldn’t tell. Her hand was still holding his. Levi looked up at her. “I like it, too.”

% approximately the 3rd week of October %
Friday evening, the volleyball team arrived at the town regionals were being held at, about an hour away. You were staying in a hotel again, and as before, Julia was your buddy.
After having spent the evening laughing and having fun, your whole hotel room group was about to head up the stairs.
“Hey, y/n. Do you mind staying back for a minute?” Julia asked.
“Oh, sure. We’ll meet you guys upstairs,” you called to the other two, who waved back nonchalantly and continued walking. Julia and you went back to some empty seats near the lobby.
“What’s up?” you asked, smiling.
“Well… Sam told me he caught you and Tom yesterday and I just wanted to ask you about it…”
Your smile faltered.
“What’s there to talk about? I told him that Tom sprayed me with water so I got back at him by soaking the back of his shirt. There’s nothing more to say.”
“Well, yeah, he told me that but he also mentioned that you stayed for dinner? And met Nikki’s parents last weekend? Not trying to imply anything, but I didn’t meet their grandparents until Sam and I had been dating for like 6 months.”
You were getting annoyed, considering this was the second person in two days to ask you about Tom.
“I didn’t just meet them over nothing! Nikki took my senior pictures at the same time as Tom’s and wanted to do them there. I was just tagging along for the ride.”
“You know he’s also coming to state next weekend, right? If we pass through tomorrow?”
He is?
“Uh, no I didn’t. Doesn’t he have football stuff to worry about? It’s also Halloween next weekend, like he’d miss out on the big party.”
“They have a bye next week. Sam is going to come and I guess Tom is taking him, but Nikki might come too? I’m not sure. I guess you’d better ask him. Anyways, I just wanted to clear things up since there were all those rumors today,” she said, starting to get up.
“Wait, wai- Rumors? I never heard anything. Like about me?”
“You haven’t heard? I guess one of the freshman girls who has a massive crush on Tom was stalking Nikki’s website last night and saw some pictures of the two of you. A bunch of people think you’re dating now.”
You felt yourself pale.
“Oh no, and she changed one picture after Tom asked her to. Do you know what the picture was?”
“Something about him carrying you..? I never saw it, why?”
“Great. Now everyone is going to think she changed it because a secret got out or something. Ughhhh I just wish this stupid marriage project had never happened and I would never be in this mess.”
Julia looked at you contemplatively for a moment.
“Think of it this way, you and Tom are friends now, right?” you apprehensively nodded. “If it weren’t for that project, you two would still be fighting all the time and you wouldn’t have had the incredible Nikki Holland taking your pictures. Everyone can just get over themselves, you know?”
You snorted, then grinned.
“Yeah I guess so. You know, you’re annoyingly wise beyond your years,” you stated. “Now let’s get back upstairs. We have a long day ahead of us.”
%
Placing first at regionals meant two things: you were going to state, and everyone was congratulating you again when Monday came.
They also kinda looked at you funny when Tom high fived you in the hallway as he passed by, but you had decided to follow Julia’s advice and stop caring about the rumors people were spreading.
Once the morning announcements ended, your calculus teacher stood up, a small paper stack in hand.
“Okay, everyone, since I’m your first period teacher and homecoming is next week, today you get to cast your nomination votes. Y’all know the drill: three guys, three girls for king and queen. Try to make it fast, we have a lot to do today.”
She walked around handing out half-sheets of paper with six lines on them. You and Tom immediately looked at each other.
“We nominating each other?” Tom asked before you could.
“Wouldn’t have it any other way,” you joked, filling out the sheet with both of your names and four others.
In home ec, you sat next to Tom cutting fabric for yet another project you had to do together, thinking about something Julia had mentioned.
“Hey, I gotta ask you something. Is it true you’re going to the capital this weekend for our state tournament?” you asked.
“Oh, yeah. This is our bye week and I promised Sam I’d go with him and mom. Plus, we can work on the project when you’re free.”
“You do realize that’s like a four hour drive, right? I mean it’s Halloween this weekend. Wouldn’t you rather make an appearance at Johnny’s big blowout?”
“Eh, it won’t be that great. I mean his place isn’t even that big and it’s in town. There’s literally no way it won’t get busted within the first half hour. The homecoming party at Tyler’s however… that’s gonna be insane.”
“Okay Johnny’s trash party aside, you really would rather spend your one free weekend of the season four hours away watching girls play volleyball then at home doing… whatever it is you do. And please don’t tell me you watch the ‘hub in your spare time.”
“Come on, y/n I’m not an animal. Even without the tight uniforms volleyball is really cool.”
You backhanded his arm at the comment.
“Plus, I don’t need any videos to get myself off,” he added, smirking.
“You disgust me.”
“You know you love me.”
“Hmm. Debatable,” you shot back dryly, earning a chuckle and shoulder bump from him as you finally cracked.
%
At lunch, your friends were discussing the Halloween party when you sat down.
“Okay we really need to figure out what to wear this weekend, and we’re not going as playboy bunnies like Daisy and all her group,” said one girl.
“Well I say we dress as frat boys. It’s funny, not super sexual, and we all know half the guys are going to rush next year,” suggested Caroline.
“I like it, but what if we went a step further and dressed as dads. You know, hawaiian shirts, khaki shorts, socks and sandals. That would be hilarious. What do you think, y/n?” said Alexis.
“Sorry ladies, I won’t be there. We have state this weekend at the capital so as always, we’re driving down Friday after school. I will be at Tyler’s homecoming thing next weekend. Also, I do really like the dad thing, but I vote y’all do Guy Fieri.”
“Wait why is that literally genius,” Alexis said as the others agreed. “Of course it would suck to take your idea without you even getting to do it.”
“You guys really think I care? Just credit me in your insta captions. I’ll make the team put ribbons with flames on them in their ponytails Saturday.”
“Okay now we have to do it,” a different friend said.
“Hey, at least you won’t have to worry about Tom. I’m sure he’ll be at the party,” Caroline said. You wrinkled your nose.
“Yeah about that… His brother’s girlfriend is on the team so he’s going, too. I’m the one that’ll be seeing him instead of you guys but whatever. We’ll need to work on our project anyways.”
“Don’t you think that’ll fuel the fires people are already spreading about you? A good portion of the school thinks you’re secretly together now,” added the first friend from before.
“People are going to believe whatever the hell they want. I honestly don’t care anymore. Oh! By the way, did I tell you guys that some freshman was the one spreading shit about me Friday? The nerve those kids have,” you said.
“Wait, what? It was a freshman that was trying to tell everyone y’all are together? Ugh why would anyone believe them?” Alexis asked, incredulous.
“I know, right? Apparently she’s like obsessed with Tom or something. She must have a backwards way of thinking if she believes spreading fake rumors will make him want her. Jokes on her when she has to see us together on homecoming court. He’s just as likely to be voted as I am, maybe even more.”
The group all laughed and continued talking about random things, and you mentally wiped the sweat from your brow now that the conversation was shifted from you and Tom.
%
You were nervously bouncing your leg before calculus Friday morning. You’d gotten to school early to make certain you would be there for the announcements, which is when they would be releasing the list of nominees.
Tom came in a couple minutes before the bell, hair still wet from his post workout shower. Usually he blow dried it, and he obviously noticed you looking at his curls, your knee bouncing anxiously.
“Got out of the weight room late so I rushed over here. What are you wired up about, princess?”
“Do I really have to tell you? Homecoming noms.”
“You’re actually nervous about that? Everyone knows you’re already at the top of the list.”
“Uh, no, that’s you. After everything that’s happened the past few weeks, there’s no telling how people feel about me.”
“Oh you’ll be fine. I know it,” Tom finished. You wanted to disagree with him further, but then the bell rang and announcements began. After the general daily stuff, they got to the part everyone was waiting for.
You were on the edge of your seat. The disembodied voice began with the underclassmen’s court nominations, eventually working up to the senior king contestants.
“Alright, first up in the running for kings we have… Tuwaine Barrett!”
Tuwaine was a cool dude. He played basketball and was in theatre. You were happy to see him nominated.
“Next up we’ve got Harrison Osterfield!”
Ugh. I’d rather abdicate the throne than end up against him.
“And finally for the boys, Tom Holland!”
A small cheer went up in your classroom as people congratulated Tom and patted him on the back. You gave him a high five.
“And now for the ladies. First on the list is Zendaya Coleman!”
Ah Zendaya. You were never that close, but she was always nice when you’d had classes with her. She was way taller than you, a star player on the basketball and softball teams. Not to mention she was insanely gorgeous. This was already some stiff competition.
“Second, we have Daisy Ridley!”
And of course another likely contender. Daisy, who was planning on going to that evening’s Halloween party as a playboy bunny, was a cheerleader. She didn’t fit every aspect of the cheer stereotype, like the fact that she was actually really smart, but she definitely wasn’t the nicest person either.
“And finally, your last nominee for homecoming queen is… y/n y/l/n!”
It took a second to fully process that it was you they were talking about until there were people cheering you on like they’d done for Tom. He reciprocated the high five.
“What’d I tell you princess? Or shall I say queen.”
%
Tom was leaving football practice after the bell when a few of his buddies appeared next to him to walk across the parking lot.
They were talking when Tom saw you all loading the bus, and you sent each other a wave.
“Damn, y/n’s not gonna be at the party tonight? That’s rough, she always has the dopest costumes. ‘Least you will. What are you going as?” one guy, Jake, said.
“Did I not tell you? I’m going out of town. Won’t be there. I totally would’ve been Spider-Man though,” Tom explained.
“Wait you won’t be there tonight either?” another, Chris, asked. “You’re gonna miss out on some major exposure for homecoming votes.”
“Oh yeah, right. I’m pretty sure things are in the bag for me. I’ll just be gone tonight and tomorrow. Promised Sam I’d go to the volleyball thing with him.”
“Wait, wait, wait. You. Are going to the capital. Which is four hours away. At the same time as y/n. Am I hearing this right?” Jake asked as they finally reached their cars.
“Oh shut up, man. It’s not like that. Yeah we’ll be at the same place this weekend but whatever. We’re cool with each other now.”
“Cool? Is that code for ‘I want to make out every time I look at her?’” interjected Chris. He and Jake gave each other a look and laughed.
“Ugh, no. I’d kiss a salmon before I kissed y/n. I just meant we’ve come to an understanding and are somewhat friends now.”
They both looked at him funny.
“So you mean to tell me that there’s nothing going on between you two? Yeah right. We’ve all seen the way you look at her at games,” Jake said suggestively.
“What is up with you and everyone else at this school thinking there’s more to the story?! We are fake married for a school project and are nothing more than friends. You’re crazy to think otherwise.”
“Who are you planning on asking to the dance?” Chris asked, seemingly out of nowhere.
“What? What do you mean? I haven’t even thought about it.”
“I’m asking who you’ll take to homecoming. It’s y/n, isn’t it?”
“No. No, it’s not, because I haven’t asked anyone.”
“Would you go with her?” Chris continued, pressing in.
“I mean I guess so. If we’re voted king and queen then it’ll basically be an obligation.”
“And if you’re not?”
“Dude why are you asking all these questions! If she isn’t queen then I’ll go with whoever is. If I’m not king, I’ll just go solo and see what happens. Whatever, though, I need to get home. I’ll see you guys Monday,” Tom finished.
He walked off to his car, where his brothers were impatiently waiting.

May I interest you in some fem!hermit!Tommy fluff for you in this trying time?
This is set in an alternative version of @redorich 's hermit!Tommy AU. Diverging from the Dream SMP's raid on Hermitcraft. All you need to know is that family trees are convoluted, Tommy's name is Clementine. She's trans, we love her, she has wings and has adopted Grian as her weird almost twin brother.
After the whole "Dreamon" and "invasion" mess the Dream SMP folk didn't expect to hear much from the hermits besides the ones who attended MCC. They thought that the two servers would just continue to exist, independent of one another. Just drifting through the void mere inches apart but never really touching.
Oh how wrong they were.
The hermits were friendly but they had absolutely underestimated just how friendly.
Apparently, the moment Clementine so much as breathed a word about how much she missed her biological family, Scar -ever the kind and helpful mayor that he was- decided to throw a beach party!
Since Clemmy's extended family was pretty large and they didn't want anyone to feel left out, it was an open invitation to everyone on the Dream SMP as long as they behaved.
That point was driven home when a few people, like Antfrost and his unhealed, dog bitten asscheek, mentioned how upsetting the Hermits was definitely not a good idea.
(Deep down they knew that the reason they were really doing this was because the hermits were worried about them. The Dream SMP was just a bunch of traumatized children according to them. They weren't wrong in that assumption but no one wanted to admit that.)
So, when the day of the beach party finally dawned, they all put on their least threatening outfits and packed up their supplies, (where Tubbo got the surf board nobody wanted to question) and entered the portal just like they had done a few months prior.
A few things were different though, the sun was bright and beaming in the sky, soft puffy white clouds rolled by, only promising gentle shade instead of the dreary air of yesteryear.
The shopping district had been rebuilt from it's smoky ruins and they finally all had time to appreciate the lovingly built shops and roads. It looked so beautiful and vibrant, you could practically feel the fact that summer was in full swing.
The smell of nectar and sea salt drifted through the air, sweetening even the sourest of moods. This is what peace was to the hermits. This was their everyday. They were so lucky and they didn't even realize it.
Some people were taking notes of all the different building styles with bright eyes, hoping to replicate some of it when they got home, others were suddenly hit with a feeling of bitter inadequacy of it compared to their homes. Is this what a world without war could look like?
But, no matter the gloomy musings of the few, they were all here to let go for a day! To celebrate the good times and to kick back for seemingly the first time in forever.
Their welcome party this time simply consisted of one person.
It was a strange sight, seeing the Hermits' admin Xisuma without a mask on, wearing a god awful hawaiian shirt that Keralis had thrown at him with glee the moment he mentioned that he didn't have something to wear, and again, were those, gods forbid crocks?
"'Ello everyone! Wow this is quite the turn up. Scar wished he could be here to greet you all personally, but he's still too busy helping the others preparing for the barbecue, so you're stuck with me for the time being.
Now, if you'll kindly follow me, we set everything up pretty close to here, so we'll be there in a minute."
The walk over to the beach was short, but just as scenic as the rest of the server.
Warm, golden sand, gently lapping waves and lush plant life. The sound of the hermits' laughter and soft music filled the air as the smell of the previously mentioned barbecue proved a welcome distraction from whatever the hell was happening on the far right side of the beach (the ZIT trio built a karaoke machine. It was Zedaph's idea. It was also a horrible idea but they didn't seem to realize that yet.)
As they began to debate a plan of attack, no wait. ... fun? enjoyment? eh whatever.
A tall man jogged up to the group. Some people recognized him as Mumbo Jumbo, that one british guy with the mustache. Others, however, as that semi-scary redstone wizard who managed to create extremely powerful potion launchers during the invasion.
He was dressed just as down to earth as the others, holding a tall glass of lemonade in his hand and wearing a (quite goofy) sunhat he borrowed from Ren.
He was explaining something to X in hushed tones (something or other about a minor fire at the barbecue table?) When he looked past the gathering of guests and out towards the path that they had come from, and screeched.
"GRIAN PLEASE I'M HOLDING LEMONADE DON'T!" X reached over and grabbed the glass from his hands just in time for a cackling, feathered ball of something to crash into Mumbo, knocking him into the water with an audible "oof".
There was wild thrashing as the two tried to orient themselves, Grian somehow climbing onto Mumbo's back.
"CLEMMY! COME HELP ME DROWN MUMBO!" Grian waved towards a cluster of trees to their left, underneath which a small gathering of hermits was enjoying a bit of a reprieve from the sun.
"NOT YOU TOO!" came the mustachioed man's scream of distress.
Clementine, the whole terrifying six feet and three inches of a woman that she was, took off running to the water at full tilt towards the struggling brits.
Mumbo, having already formed a strategy in his head, did a perfect T-pose and feel backwards into the water, bringing down a screaming Grian with him. Clementine did a graceful swan dive into the water (how she executed that shall be left for viewer interpretation) and happily joined the fray, even the distressed calls of Stress behind her because "Gods damn it Clemmy! I spent an hour on your hair! And now it's ruined!" couldn't persuade her to give up on her mission to cause as much friendly chaos as possible.
She climbed out of the water a few minutes later, her hair a mess and a bright smile on her face.
"Techie! Wilby! Tubbo! Thank you guys so much for coming! I'm really glad that you could make it." She hugged them each close, enjoying the comfort of having them all together again.
"I wouldn't miss it for the world." Techno relaxed his posture, trying not to fidget too much. He was getting better with crowds but it was still a lot.
"You may think he's joking but he literally dragged Quackity all the way to the portal because he was too busy doing his eyeliner and would've made us late." Wilbur snickered when she leaned in to hug him, earnings him one of her patented ear-splitting laughs.
"I got a recording of it!" Tubbo proudly announced, pulling out his video camera
while still holding an arm around her.
"ABSOLUTELY NOT! LET ME HAVE SOME DIGNITY MAN!" The aforementioned Mr. Fattest Ass in the cabinet screamed indignantly as soon as he got within hearing range.
"Quackity you never had any dignity. It's too late for that." Techno flicked the duck shapeshifter on the head, earning him even more annoyed rambling which he just chose to ignore.
"Well, I'm glad that that's settled, now, I have some people I'd like for you to meet."
She directed them towards the group sitting in the shade, which consisted of False, (a now soaking wet) Grian, Stess, Mumbo (who also looked like a disgruntled cat that was just given a bath), Iskall and Ren.
Meanwhile Doc and Cleo had a little cornered off area they'd nicknamed the "cool kids club" (it was because around this time the sun got strong enough to actually burn her and Doc just felt slightly iffy about the water, since he was, ya know, half robot.)
Clemmy threw herself down on a blanket in front of a grumbling Stress who set about actually making her hair look presentable.
Niki sat down next to them and began discussing the merits of different styles to put Clemmy's hair into.
Ranboo sheepishly sat down next to Cleo's lawn chair folding all of his gangly limbs under himself.
Wilbur happily plopped himself down next to Ren on a blanket and began to hum along to the other's guitar.
Techno lay dow his cape, deciding that a nap was the best course of action in that moment.
Fundy hesitated for a second before going down to the shore to relax and just put his feet in the water for now.
Philza, the awkward dad that he was, chose to sit down close enough to the girls that he'd be able to hear what they were talking about without intruding.
Tubbo placed his stuff down by Clemmy's feet and ran out to the shore with his surf board in hand.
Going through so many conflicts in such a short amount of time really tires a person out, especially ones as young as the ones from the SMP so getting this afternoon of rest truly helped ease some of the stress given to them by recent events.
(Beach episode pog?)
Of course, this little get together wasn't without it's faults. About two hours in Doc accidentally trampled False's sand castle, who in retaliation teamed up with Cleo to dump water on him while he was relaxing.
This little conflict evolved into a battle to see who could build the biggest and grandest sand castle between "Team Himbo" and "Team Women" (one of those was coined by Clemmy). Puffy and Stress set up a good system of transporting sand from point A to point B, allowing them to move faster. False got placed on detailing duty while Niki brought refreshments for the rest of the team. Alyssa was mostly helping out wherever she could, as Cleo worked her armour stand magic to make their castle feel even more alive.
Clemmy just shouted encouragements and bullied the opposing team.
(The member list of Team Himbo has been redacted to avoid any drama about who might qualify as a himbo in the given circumstances)
Somehow the guys managed to convince Techno to join them, which immediately stacked odds in their favor to which Eret and Iskall, being the non-binary legends they are, decided to side with Team Women, now renamed to "Team Prettier Than You".
Their building contest laated for another hour before X decided to try to stop them (it wasn't because of the time. It was because TFC and Grian started shouting things about structural integrity and adding stone parts to the walls and the contestants actually listened when he decided that it was getting out of hand.)
Then it was time to actually enjoy the barbecue. Techno surprised everyone with how delicious his baked potatoes ended up. Beef also got to flex his skills a little with, as you guessed it, beef.
Tubbo and Tango sadly had to eat further away then everyone because the moment they got within ten feet of the fire something mysteriously combusted.
After that, the ZIT trio busted out the karaoke machine and the night went from good to great.
The old Team Star was dared to sing a rendition of Hermit Gang and everyone younger than 25 felt physical distress during some parts.
The sleepy bois (+Tubbo) sang a cover of "Your new boyfriend" (Techno got surprisingly into it) and then Wilbur swiped Ren's guitar to sing some Taylor Swift songs (accompanied by Tubbo on a synth he seemingly pulled out of nowhere) in that one weird accent he can do which had most people wheezing on the floor from laughter after the first song.
Niki threw down a german cover of Say So by Doja Cat. Grian, Phil and Tommy were unconsciously doing the parrot dancing thing. It was great.
Quackity sang something in spanish and Karl and Sapnap made over exaggerated swooning noises.
Skeppy and Bad did a duet. It was as adorable as it sounds.
Some other people also came on stage, belting out songs in such horridly broken voices that I'll spare you the details. Let's just say, nails scratching chalkboards would sound better.
And that was most of the festivities over with.
The last thing on the agenda? A meteor shower. How did they set it up? Clemmy's weird star child thing. The aforementioned girl was huddled close together with her family as they watched the comets streak across the clear sky (all electronics and artificial lights were shut off for the night) and Melohi played from a jukebox in the corner.
Fundy was laying his head in Dream's lap, the other boy was softly threading his fingers through his almost fiance's orange hair while leaning heavily on George and trying not to let sleep claim him as it had the fox (no one knew how this happened, all they were aware of is that the three had disappeared sometime during the sand castle contest only to reemerge having finally talked things through and come to an agreement that they all seemed happy with).
Ranboo, Niki, Puffy and Eret were collapsed in a happy pile just vibing.
The sleepy bois, who were for once actually sleepy, all wore matching flower crowns braided together by Stress's experienced fingers (and Wilbur's rather clumsy ones). Phil and her had managed to come to an agreement of unofficial joint custody after he witnessed Techno embarrassedly lean down to let her place a crown of golden flowers upon his head and saw his internal beam of pride when she called him "handsome".
The boys never really had a mother he mused, maybe she could teach them kindness where he couldn't.
Another surprise addition to the family was the owner of the third pair of wings in the cuddle pile. Phil didn't expect to end up with any more children at this point in his life, but Grain and Clemmy were practically attached at the hip and it felt wrong to even think about separating them.
He only hoped that those two wouldn't cause too much chaos especially when teamed up with Tubbo.
In the end, everyone drifted off to sleep, one by one they closed their eyes on their most perfect day. Praying for whatever might be out there, that they'll have many more moments just like this.
Well,
almost everyone.
Callahan chuckled as he walked back up to his spot with Alyssa farther away from the others. shutting off his camera after cycling through the pictures he took of everyone looking goofy while sleeping (His favorite is the one where Clemmy was very visibly munching on Techno's hair). He may not use those as blackmail but he sure ass hell was going to tease them about it later. He fell asleep there on that hill, drifting off to comforting rest like the others.
After that? Life moved on.
It was chaotic sure, and not perfect.
But it was theirs. They grew up slowly, learning to be kind to one another, how to grow with one another.
Life wasn't always perfect but hey, they had each other. And in the end? That's all that mattered.

A Royal New Year Party
Word Count: Around 2,400
Plot: After getting done planning a New Year’s Eve party, Cedric meets a man that makes the sorcerer question his relationship with you.
Warnings: Angst and language
Author’s Note: This just came to me cause people used to be such jerks to my ex about us being a couple. So, kinda personal and kinda just I adore Cedric and want my baby to know he’s loved.
Author’s Note note: Okay, so I had another fic like this but I’m finally gonna address it; the world is set in our time so there are cell phones and stuff. I know I changed it from the show, but it was just easier for me. Also, this is gonna be the last fic for a few days. tbh, I haven’t even started the next ones, but I do have outlines. Hope you enjoy and happy New Year!!!
Reader pronouns: she/her
                                       A Royal New Year Party
Here it is, the greatest party of every year. The royal family’s enchanted New Year’s Eve party was only a few hours away.
“Cedric, could you please conjure another bouquet of roses?”
“Cedric, can you please just conjure one more turkey? The chef ran out of bird, so he is begging you to make one; but please don’t tell the King!”
“Cedric, can you put the floating plates over here?”
“Cedric, can you conjure a few more chairs?”
“Cedric, where is god’s name is that turkey!?”
Yes, these were the sounds the poor sorcerer had been listening to all day. Everyone and their chef have been pestering him. He was in the middle of all the bustling and rustling. Things at been nonstop for hours and he was getting sick of it. The past day, he had been conjuring plates, chairs, ovens, instruments, and everything in between to make this party amazing. King Roland expected the very best to wow his guests, so he wanted Cedric not only to create dozens of items, but to enchant everything.
The King wanted enchanted chairs that could sway with the music, enchanted instruments that could play on their own to give the orchestra a break, and enchanted silverware that could dazzle the guests with dancing and singing. It was quite complicated to cast spell after spell (especially enchanted ones) and it was beginning to tire the man.
Cedric was finishing up one more spell when he heard footsteps behind him.
“Well done, Cedric!” The king boomed from behind the sorcerer, scaring him out of his wits.
“Thank you, your majesty. I am honored.” He said, turning and bowing his head.
“You’re very welcome, things are coming along nicely. Now, since you’ve been working all day, have you given any thought to what you have planned tonight?”
Cedric lifted his shoulder in a half shrug.
“No, I haven’t really thought of anything.”
“Well then,” Roland paused, gesturing to all the gold and black decorations, “why don’t the two of you celebrate the new year with us? I’m sure y/n would love it.”
“I-we would love to and I greatly appreciate the offer,” Cedric started, “but I think we are going to celebrate the new year just the two of us.”
Roland gave Cedric a disappointed look.
“Alright, if you insist. We will all miss you and y/n. If you change your mind, you guys are welcome.”
“Thank you, your highness.” He said, beginning to walk out of the ballroom through majestic, golden doors.
Cedric trudged through the halls of the castle. He came across the coffee shop on the corner of the ballroom and royal dining hall and scurried into line to get a cup.
Workers of all types stood back to front. One man wearing a blue vest, top hat, and holding a scepter in his hands was in front of cedric.
“Hello, sir. The name’s Jonathan” The man greeted the sorcerer. His eyes seemed warm and inviting enough to talk to.
“Oh, hello.” Cedric answered, barely shaking his head to try, and come to consciousness.
“What do you do around here, fine man?”
“I’m the royal sorcerer for Enchantcia. You may know me by Cedric the Sensational?”
The man looked perplexed for a minute, then, as if realization came down from the gods, Jonathan’s face turned up and Cedric could see the lightbulb come on.
“Oh yes! You are the one who tried taking over the kingdom a few years back!”
Cedric cringed.
“Yes, I am.” He said, trying hard not to recall those memories but nevertheless, remembered them vividly.
“My, I was sure good old Kind Roland would have you executed for that!”
“Oh yes, didn’t we all?” Cedric rolled his eyes.
“And the way the towns folk talked about you, it musta been hard to show you face around them parts for a while, eh?”
“Eh.” Cedric sarcastically parroted back.
“Why, never in my wildest dreams would old Winnie and Goodwin’s kiddy ever try a stunt like that.”
“Yes, quite,” Cedric paused, narrowing his eyes at the man, “foolish of me.”
“You know, your father saved old’ king Roland’s daddy from a few monsters like yourself!”
“yes, yes, I know. Oh look, you’re at the counter, time to order now.” Cedric rushed.
“Oh, look at that. Hi, ma’am, I’ll have a…”
Once the man had finished ordering, cedric got up to the counter and ordered a cold caramel frappe. After, he went to sit down and wait. The bustling of people became a background noise and Cedric finally got some peace. While he sat and tried to unwind-
“There you are good buddy!” The same talkative man said, jostling over to Cedric.
“Here I am.”
After a long talk about Cedric’s wrongs, the man began to inquire about Cedric’s personal life.
“So, I doubt after your long, ungrateful journey back to civilized living hadn’t brought you company of any kind?”
Cedric believed the man meant a significant other but wasn’t really sure.
           “Pardon?”
“A woman! Have you gotten yourself a woman?!”
Cedric gave the man a blank stare and leaned away from his sudden enthusiasm. Why in god’s name does this man want to know so much about him? He thought about telling him or not. If I do, he’s going to go on how I don’t deserve someone, or not believe me entirely. And why does he just presume I have a woman? Has the man never heard of two men living happily together? Why does this man care so much about my life?
“I do have a significant other.” Cedric finally let out.
“Well for heavens sakes, how the hell did you get one?”
“Well, we met over a year ago and- “
“No one in her right mind would want you. You’re so unstable compared to others your age. Eh, she’s probably just waiting’ on someone better anyways.”
Cedric was now completely offended and didn’t really know how to answer. Without saying another word, he rose to get his coffee from the counter and left.
On his walk home, Cedric began thinking.
I have been with Y/N for almost a year. I don’t deserve her. Does she even want to be with me? Maybe I’ve just fooled myself into thinking she really loves me when all this time she’s only stayed around cause there’s no one else. Maybe he’s right, maybe it was just weird I found her. She probably is just waiting for someone better to come along and leave…I’ve done so much wrong, maybe she doesn’t even want me?
After his long debate, Cedric headed upstairs to his tower. The stone walls felt cold against cedric’s fingers as he guided himself up three floors of spiraled stairs. He looked out one of the windows to see the sun turning orange as it set over glistening red trees. It was beautiful in Enchantcia tonight. After looking for only a minute, he started back up the stairs.
Once he had made it to the door, he took a big breath and he walked in to find his girlfriend sitting crisscrossed on a table. You were wearing Black lacy shorts with flowers embroidered along with a spaghetti strapped top that matched. Trying to pick up your phone off the floor, you were dangling from the edge. You grabbed your phone and looked up to see your boyfriend.
“Ceddy! You’re finally home.” You smiled, jumping off the table onto your sorcerer. Your hair was in a messy bun and fluffed up into his face when you grabbed onto him for a hug.
           “Hello, Angel.”
“I’ve been missing you all day.” You said, snuggling in tighter.
“I have too. Oh, this is for you.” He said, giving you a hot mocha.
Your smile widened. “Thank you!”    After grabbing the hot beverage from him, you look a sip, and placed it on the table.
“You look tired.”
“I am tired.” Cedric laughed, hugging you. He was happy to be home to you until he started remembering the conversation he had with Jonathan.
Noticing him grow somber, you asked him if he was okay.
Cedric hesitated, “Yes, just tired I think.”
“Okay, why don’t you take a nap?” You asked, still having a questioning look on your face.
           “I may.”
You kissed him gently on the cheek and made sure he got to the bedroom. Closing the door behind you, you decided to grab a book and read until he woke.
                                                                       …
After a few hours, you decided to check on Cedric. You wanted to make sure he was okay after what happened earlier.
Walking into the bedroom, you found your boyfriend already awake on his phone.
“Hello.” You greeted, walking along the side of the bed.
Cedric nodded at you.
Carefully, you made you way to the upper part of the bed and sat down. Noticing his standoffish actions, you scooted closer to him.
“Babe, what’s wrong? Please, tell me.” You quietly pleaded.
He looked over at you with glassy eyes. His face was full of pain, but you just couldn’t put a finger on what upset him.
“Did I say or do something?”
“No.” He answered, shifting away from you slightly.
“Cedric, tell me what’s wrong.” You grabbed his hand and put it on your lap.
He ran his other hand through his hair, and you noticed his shoulders tense.
“Y/n,” he paused, his voice almost choking, “why-why do you stay here?”
You became confused.
           “What?”
“Why do you stay here…with me?”
           “I don’t u- “
“You have been with me for almost a year, and for merlin’s sake I have no idea why you stay.”
“I love you.” You said, without thinking twice.
Cedric’s eyes met yours.
“I love you, but I just don’t see how you could love me.”
You could feel the sting of tears in your eyes.
“Cedric, how could you not see- “
“Do you know what I am?”
You stared at him, “Do I know what you are?”
“Yes. Do you know what I am?”
You ran your hand up his arm gently, “You’re mine.”
“No. I mean, do you understand what I’ve done? I’ve tried overthrowing the kingdom, I plotted against the royal family for years. Everything had a terrible motive, everything I did was selfish, I dreamed of making others bow before me. I am not a good person.”
“Cedric! Of course, I know that. I’ve always known all of that. I love you for you. You are a good person now, and I don’t care about your past, I love you for everything you are and once was.”
Cedric looked down then he cocked his head.
“Once was?”
           You took a breath.
“Cedric, I’ve never admitted it, but I really don’t care you tried overthrowing the kingdom. It’s not healthy, I know, but sometimes I think my love for you is stronger than my morals.” You laughed nervously. “You are my person, my lobster, as some show would say, and no matter what, I love you. I’m not saying what you did was right, but because I love you, I overlook it easily.”
He grabbed ahold of your hand and you wrapped your arm around him. He hugged you back tightly and you knew he felt better. You kissed the side of his cheek and laid you head on his chest.
“What even made you think of that, love?”
“Nothing, I guess I just will never quite get used to you being mine.”
The two of you sat in silence for a minute, then cedric turned towards you.
“The royal family is having a party tonight to bring in the new year. I was wondering if you would want to go. The King invited us.”
           You beamed a smile.
“I’d love to!”
About an hour later, the two of you were walking down the hall towards the ballroom.
Once you arrived, you were greeted by a loud orchestra and babbling voices. The room was full of women in suits and dresses and men in the same attire. It was an extravagant gathering with gold and black streamers lining the walls and draping over the ceiling. At the front of the room sat the orchestra with its self-playing instruments and band members walking about. Some guests sat on floating chairs and plates that followed behind others walking. Workers hurried around, grabbing dirty, golden silverware.
Cedric and you started over to the royal table when Sofia came running over.
“Mr. Cedric! Miss. Y/n! I’m so happy you guys could come.” She shouted over the music, running up and giving Cedric a hug followed by yours.
“I’m glad we could. Please tell your father that we are very grateful.” You said to the young girl wearing the pink amulet.
“I will. Are you guys going to sit down? There’s two chairs next to me.”
“Yes, we are. We’ll be over in a minute. Thanks again.”
“No problem.” Sofia replied, running off to greet the other guests.
You had almost made it over to the table when a loud voice practically yelled at Cedric.
“Cedric! There you are old buddy!”
           Cedric’s shoulders stiffened again.
“Hello, Jonathan.”
           “Who you got with you?”
“This is y/n, she’s my girlfriend.”
The man looked you over and made you rather uncomfortable.
“Oh my god! She’s beautiful! What the hell did you have to bribe her to come with?”
Your eyes flung wide open and you gasp.
“What?” You asked in a flat tone.
“No offense to you ma’am, You’re beautiful! I’m just wondering’ how he got someone like you,” he glanced at Cedric, “with his past and all.”
You shot Jonathan an angry look.
“For your information, I love this man with all my heart and want to be with him for who he is. If you can’t accept that then you can just kindly leave us alone!” You snapped.
           The man looked shocked.
           “Well, I guess if you’re happy- “
“I am happy. Thank you.”
“It was nice seeing you again old buddy.”
“A pleasure really.” Cedric smiled, wrapping his arm around you.
The two of you began walking away. You couldn’t believe how rude he had been. Before you had gotten too far, you were boiling over with anger and wanted that man to know you adored Cedric. Suddenly, you whipped around to make sure he was still watching. You grabbed Cedric by the collar and kissed him firmly on the lips.
Jonathan looked horrified at you. You gave a sarcastic smile at him and turned back around.
“Jackass.” You spat out under your breath.
“You have no idea.” Cedric agreed, placing his arm back around you tightly.
“I truly do love you, y/n.”
“I love you too, Cedric.”
Cedric and you made it to the table and joined the royal family. Later, the two of you along other couples shared a passionate kiss at 12am to welcome the new year.
