So here's the thing: No one can and will ever own you. Anyone who tries to do so will never be free. So how can someone, who's birthright is freedom, ever be abandoned? The only thing that needs to be abandoned is the illusion that your responsibility extends beyond yourself — because of your attachment to control. Control and freedom cannot coexit. They are mutually exclusive. You're either free or trapped by your own illusion.

There's no such thing as the fear of abandonment. What you truly fear, is the loss of control.

My ma has the most beautiful warm brown eyes

And infectious smile I've ever seen

She's beautiful and kind

Loving and caring, a good mother

My mother's hug is a healing that soothes my core

Calming me like the waves of the sea

You are the epitome of grace and strength

You've weathered through painful times

And yet you still overcome it like a queen

Your wise advise and thoughtfulness never

Ceases to make me happy how amazing

Attentive and watchful you are

Your words I eagerly take to my heart

Preparing me for my future

You are so brave never afraid to speak your

Mind or say the truth

I look up to you praying to be a good

Woman like you while growing up

When I was in despair, you cocooned me in your arms

When I was in tears you comforted me

When I was happy you were happy too

And you kept me in your loving embrace

What will my life be without you?

I pray to be as courageous like you

To face my trials head-on with bravery, and overcome them.

I'm so grateful to have a mother like you

No matter where you may be

I'll always come running back into your arms

Cause you are my safe haven
