Ello!!
So this is for Quiet. Where after a smooth mission is over, Price decides it’s a good idea for the 141 to go to a bar and wind down. They all carpool (could you imagine how cramped that would be lol) and arrive, taking seats at the front.
Now they are all wearing normal clothing, aside from ghost, wearing that hoodie/jacket with the skull balaclava. And soon enough the drinks start rolling in.
I can literally see Quiet practically barricaded/sandwiched in between Ghost and Soap. Because they’re big guys and she’s small. So while the rest of the 141 are having their fun, Quiet leaves to go to the bathroom and when she starts to make her way back, some idiot tries to flirt with her and “take her home” if you know my meaning. She’s not having it and declines shaking her head but the guy is persistent and not leaving her be.
And ghost notices…
You always send me the best prompt for this series @thedevillovesflowers ❤️ SO sorry this took me forever, this is a little short just because I was struggling but I hope you like it
Hoping to slowly get back into this series I have a couple ideas
Quiet Series
You were persistent. It was in your job to be especially when you were someone who had to wait hours in the same spot for your target before you could do anything. But right now your patience was wearing thin by the second.
It was meant to be just a nice night out at the pub. It had been a long time since you and the 141 had the chance to relax, so Price offered to take everyone to the pub for a couple drinks and food.
It had been nice. You always loved hanging out with the boys, even if they got on your nerves, and doing it off the clock was nice since you didn't have to worry about getting shot at. They included you too, of course they did, because while Price had put you on the team just almost a year ago, it felt like you had been there since the beginning.
You had been stuck in between Soap and Ghost, smushed against Ghost more since Soap was so animated and enjoyed the company.
You blamed the warm fuzzy feeling on the few drinks you had rather than being pressed against your lieutenant, not having the energy to unpack those feelings at the moment. Eventually you had to use the bathroom and though you regrettably had to move away from his warmth, you didn't miss the way his dark eyes followed you.
But now you were here, unable to get back to him because a rather unattractive man stood in your way.
He was trying to get you to come home with him but after you had shook your head no multiple times he just didn't get it.
"You don't have to be shy, tell me why not." He said but you shook your head again.
You would try to sign to him but you don't think he knows ASL or that he would even realize you were mute. You wanted to just walk past him but there was limited space and you didn't want to be touched by any part of him.
"C'mon, I like a mysterious lady and you can tell me all about your scars-"
Your patience was gone.
You huffed, rolling your eyes and tried to step past him but he grabbed your arm. You nearly slapped him before you felt a familiar presence.
"She said no, mate. Leave it." Ghost's voice was rougher than usual but just as serious as always, maybe even more so like he was scolding a recruit.
He glared at the man and pushed himself in between the two of you. He didn't need to do anything else as the man grumbled and scurried off, leaving the pub without further incident.
"Alright?" Ghost turned to you and you gave him a small smile.
"Yeah..." You signed, trying not to let the interaction ruin your night.
"Let's take a walk."
You gladly followed him out of the pub and once you were outside, you couldn't help but lean against him. You expected him to pull away but he instead he gently pulled you closer.
That warm fuzzy feeling came back when he wrapped an arm around your shoulder as you began your walk and it was hard to ignore it or place the blame on anything else.
At least out here you could lean on him without worrying what the others or anyone else would think.
"You should've told him off." Ghost grumbled. "Bastard would've ran if he knew how scary you are."
You snorted but shook your head.
"It's not like he would've understood anyway" You signed and you saw the annoyance in his eyes, not at you but at the man. "Don't let it bother you, he's unimportant."
"Should be saying that to you." He signed back and you smiled.
"It's okay. No sense in getting mad at what I can't control, right?"
You know he's smiling under his mask when you see the corner of his eyes crinkle. Your face heats up when he tightens his hold around your shoulders.
"Atta girl."
A/n: slowly getting back into this hopefully Ghost isn't ooc, he's a little different that roommate!simon here atm but he'll get there

Ello! Remember Friendly Alternative Y/n? Can I maybe request Mark introducing them to Thatcher Headcanons? :0 atleast then maybe the police will have instead of a police dog a police alternative XD also the feeling of just imaging protecting Y/n at first from a shocked thatcher is so adorable :0
Thatcher visited the Heathcliff residence one evening under the guise of another "wellness check".
But in reality, he thought there was more to Mark's case than just the simple statement he provided.
Surviving not one but two Alternate attacks might sound like an act of pure luck or divine intervention, yet it didn't seem plausible that this kid could've taken all of them on by himself.
He suspected a third party might've been involved--or something that Mark was unwilling to share with the authorities at the time.
The lieutenant figured he'll be able to answer the questions he didn't get to ask before.
However the "surprise visit" goes about as well as anyone would expect....with Mark panicking and you hiding in the shadows, watching and wondering what would happen.
He gets rid of any and all evidence of your presence, until Thatcher finds a drawing in the trash alluding to you, a Type 3 Alternate, being some sort of "guardian angel".
That didn't make any sense.
This kid must have a case of MAD that distorted his perception of Alternates as protectors.
But Mark gets extremely defensive when he suggested this.
"Listen, I know it sounds crazy. I never thought I'd consider one of them to be a friend, but I can prove it! I can bring [y/n]-"
"Wait...you gave that thing a name-?"
"No, lieutenant. I gave that name to myself."
Thatcher nearly jumps out of his skin as you appear from the shadows, instinctively reaching for his gun...but remembering Mark's words and seeing the terrified look on his face, he calms down a little, sitting back down.
Immediately he can tell you're nothing like the broadcasts said.
You aren't currently mimicking anybody, being a "pure form" similar to N/The Façade.
You're not hostile in the slightest, and he asks you why.
Long story short, you managed to gain his trust and he thinks you'd be helpful in his investigations.
You wind up going to the station as an "undercover" officer in-training, with him and Ruth (after convincing her that you're on humanity's side) showing you the ropes.
Ofc you're not a perfect copy of a human being, but the rest of the MCPD suspects nothing.
The 333 Alternate is less-than-pleased to see you prevent it from killing Ruth and Thatcher when you accompany them to the Murray residence, calling you a "traitor" to your kind.
You knew the risks of helping the organization Gabriel was trying to dismantle, but it's one worth taking if it means Mandela was a little bit safer, especially Mark.
At the end of the day, you'd always return to his home just to make sure he was alright.
And also to ramble about how much you liked having a "real human job".

@simmer-until-tender shared the link to Beau Vina's lovely outfit and now here we are. Seems the AF original is inaccessible now so I remade it from these default replacements by @ello-sims. Also converted for TF, EF and Lifa / @withlovefromsimtown's trans TM & AM-EM. Everyone gets a fat morph, adults and teens also have preg morphs. Categorized as everyday, the M recolors are BSOK'd. Polycount: 6,888.
↳ Download all custom: SFS / Mega
Since I added the morphs to AF and fixed a couple other things, I edited @ello-sims's default replacements with the new mesh and fixed textures.
↳ Download defaults: SFS / Mega
Previews and details below.
Recolors can be either standalone or repo'd to AF, TM can alternatively be repo'd to AM-EM.

Unessential details about the original AF mesh for those who have time to read my rambles:
• I don't know where it's from (just the shoes are Semller's Adidas Superstar sneakers) but I don't think that mesh was made specifically for these recolors because the waist didn't match the Maxis AF waist. I believe it was meant as a single-piece dress. I made the executive decision to edit it to match the AF waist exactly, to better suit the bare mid-section we have going on here. • Again, I don't know who made this mesh, but for some reason, there are full feet inside the shoes (maybe the delete key wasn’t working that day idk) and it's all merged in a single near-inextricable group. You can't see it at all in game. Obviously I did try to shoeswap with clean Adidas Superstars but the mapping didn’t match at all, maybe these shoes have been converted twice with different mappings, idk I gave up. But the presence of those feet that I did not hate myself enough today to try and delete vertice by vertice means that the polycount is a bit inflated compared to how it should be ideally, nothing major though. • As I said, for some reason everything is merged in a single group, which may explain the sneakers' mapping (they had to fit somehow). But even if the sneakers did roughly fit, they still bled onto the fingers a little, and more egregiously for the weed recolor only, bled along a leg (that recolor cannot have been tested like what are we doing). I deleted those extra bits of textures so that won't be an issue anymore. • The skirt would clip with the back of the thighs during the walking animation, that's now fixed.
Alright that's it have fun ~

Regulus Black coffee shop AU
It was stupid, Merlin why did it all have to be this way? Maybe he shouldn't do it... no he had to, he was the only one that knew and no one would believe him... a death eater.
Walking trough the muggle village, Regulus was having a war with himself and really wondering what to do with the information he had been walking around with for about a year now, probably longer.
He finally graduated Hogwarts about two months ago and was now trying to escape his parents for a while, having grown really sick of them and their mindset.
His eyes fell on a small coffee shop on the corner of the street and after a bit of hesitation, he decided to head inside, having some Muggle money in his pockets anyway.
When he walked inside, a small bell that hung at the door made a dinging sound. There where a few customers but no one behind the counter.
Suddenly a girl stumbled out of a door which Regulus assumed let to the kitchen. "Well to bad, I'm not getting ze groceries either, I did it yesterday, zo that will be a you problem, Amber!" The girl said to someone still on the other side of the door.
Her eyes fell on Regulus who was awkwardly standing there and she smiled. "Oh, 'ello there, 'ow can I 'elp you?" She smiled, Regulus noticed she had a French accent. He blinked at her for a moment, she was absolutely beautiful, but he quickly scolded himself mentally.
"Oh, Uhm, could I have a coffee?" He asked and she nodded. "Yes, of course, just a normal coffee?" She questioned. "Yes, just black, no sugar no milk." He nodded. "Alright, and your name?" She looked up at him.
"Regulus." He said and she smiled and wrote it down. "That's R-e-g-u-l-u-s? Like the star?" She spelled and he nodded. "Yeah." He said, a bit amused, yet hiding it from the girl.
"Alright, take a seat, I'll call you when it's done." She said and walked to the espresso machine. He went to sit down and just looked around, mostly at her. She also helped two girls that came in and sat down two tables away from him.
She was incredibly beautiful, it was almost unnatural, though he didn't want to stare, not wanting to look like a creep.
"Regulus!" She called his name and he stood up, walking over to get his coffee, muttering a quick thanks before walking back to his seat and sitting down.
After a while, he stood up and walked over to the counter, putting the empty cup in the trash. "Can I pay?" He asked and she smiled at him. "Yes of course, that will be 2 pounds please." She said and he fished in his pocket and handed her the money.
"All good, thank you, have a great day." She gave him a genuine smile and he nodded and left.
A few days later, Regulus found himself back again. She looked up at the sound of the bell as she had been leaning against the counter, a book in her hand.
"Goodmorning." Greeted and he gave a small nod. "One black coffee, please." He said and she nodded. "Coming right up, Regulus, was it?" She smiled his eyebrows rose slightly and she quickly cast her eyes down. "Yes." He just said and she smiled, he couldn't help but give her the smallest smile back.
He sat down at the same table he sat at the first time and listened as she made the coffee. "Regulus!" He heard his name and stood up, getting the coffee. "Thanks." He said and she gave him a small smile.
She watched as he sat back down and then went into the kitchens with a big smile. "Oh god, what happened for you to have such a big smile on your face?" Amber, her best friend, asked. "You know that one cute guy I talked about Monday?" She asked and Amber nodded.
"Yeah, you mean 'the pretty boy' as you called him?" She asked and was met with nods and smiles. "Yes! 'e is back, sitting at the same spot by the window." She said.
"Oh, please, Y/n, don't let it be like the last one, he was a complete asshole." She said as she stood up to check the boy out. "Well- zis one's cute, but 'e doesn't show much emotion." She shrugged and Amber gave her a look and they walked out together.
There, Amber looked at the boy sitting by the window, silently sipping his coffee. "Okay, maybe you are right." She said as she looked away again. Luckily just in time as Regulus looked over to see what they where up to.
Not much later, he came up to pay and Y/n helped him. He smiled at her when he left and she felt butterflies in her stomach.
Regulus found himself at the shop at least two times a week, he had eventually figured out that the girl was the owner and was running things mostly on her own but had three other employees and worked on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The first two always alone.
"Black coffee?" She smiled when he came in and he nodded, trying his best not to smile. "Yeah." He said. "And I suppose it's still Regulus?" She let out a small giggle at her own joke. He couldn't help but smile. "Yes, still Regulus."
She smiled as she wrote the name down on the cup, even though she would remember anyway. "And what about you?" He asked, surprised at his own boldness. "Hm?" She hummed and looked up. "What's your name?" He tilted his head to the side slightly.
"Oh, it's Y/n." She told him and then put the cup down. "This'll come right up." She said and he nodded and sat down at his usual seat.
It went as always, she called his name, he went to get it, drank it while reading or thinking and then came up to pay.
The next time he went, she smiled and already grabbed a cup, putting his name down. "Morning." She greeted. "Goodmorning." He said and sat at the chair at the counter and her eyebrows rose. "New place?" She asked as the coffee poured into the cup.
He smiled at her, it was the best smile she had seen so far and she felt her stomach flutter. "I'd like to get to know the person always so kind to get my coffee ready." He said and she smiled, biting her lip slightly and turned away as she grabbed to coffee and gave it to him.
"I am always in for a little chat." She said, sitting on the other side of the counter in front of him. "So, you're from France?" He asked and she nodded. "Yes, what gave it away?" Questioned seeming s bit surprised.
"The accent, and I heard you mention it to your friend once." He said. "You where eavesdropping on our conversation?" Asked narrowing her eyes. "I- what, no no, uh- I uh..." he stammered.
She chuckled. "I'm joking, it is quite alright, it is 'ard to miss, but I really wanted a coffee shop like this and was a bit done with my parents zo I moved here." She shrugged.
"And you? Are you from around 'ere?" She asked and he nodded. "I live in a neighbourhood nearby, quite boring really." He shrugged. "I'd love the be as bold and run away from home." He sighed and she laughed.
"Difficult parents, also?" She asked and he nodded. "Yeah, it was a bit better when my brother was there, but he ran away years ago, I haven't spoken much to him since." He admitted. "Why don't you run away? When I did it felt amazing." She tried to encourage.
"I can't, it's just- it's difficult." He sighed. "I understand, but 'ey, you can always sit 'ere and be away from them." She smiled and he looked at her, them locking eyes. "Exactly what I've been doing, it's a really nice place you have here." He looked around and she gave him the biggest smile.
"Yes! I know right! I love it so much, I can't believe this dream finally came true!" She seemed so happy as she said it, it was almost contagious and he felt a weird feeling in his stomach, he had never felt it before.
The bell dinged and a man with a suit walked in, seemingly in a hurry.
"You, lady, I need one coffee and a latte." He pointed at her and she rose her eyebrows. "Sure, takeaway?" She asked and he rolled his eyes. "Obviously." He said and she smiled, though Regulus saw how annoyed she was.
"Alright, and on what name?" She asked politely. "None of your business, now hurry up, I need to go." He said and she sighed, just staring the coffee machine.
She was steaming the milk and put it in a large cup, then waited, staring at it. "What are you doing, hurry up! You're just standing there." He complained.
"I have to wait for the milk to be ready." She said and he slammed a fist on the counter. "I don't care, hurry up!" He said and her head snapped towards him.
"Listen 'ere, I am just doing my job, so either you stand zere and shut the fuck up or you leave my shop right now because I do not tolerate zis bad behaviour you 'ave, zo what iz it? Keep acting like a child or be an actual grown up?" She snapped at him with a strong French accent and his mouth hung opened for a moment looking like he wanted to say something, but he stepped back with his jaw clenched.
She finished the coffee and put it in front of him. "That will be 4,75." She said in a bitter voice. He gave her the money and then stomped out.
"Muggles." Regulus muttered when he had left. "What?" She seemed shocked and he quickly shook his head. "Nothing."
He continued to come and sit at the counter multiple times a week, but he just couldn't get that feeling out of him, he had no idea what it was.
One evening, he still saw the lights on and went inside. "Are you still open?" He asked and she looked up. "I already closed, but come in if you want." She invited and he walked in with a smile.
"Busy day?" He asked and she nodded. "Yeah, I 'ad to call in Amber at one point because it was to much for me alone." She told him. "But we 'andled it, I missed you this week, normally you are 'ere Monday." She said as she put some clean plates in a cupboard.
"Yeah, I was... busy." He said, remembering the death eater meeting he had attended, already sick at what there had been shared about some Muggle families.
"I see, you want a coffee?" She said as she already grabbed a cup. "Oh, sure." He nodded and sat down at the counter.
She made it and set it down next to her for a moment, wanting to grab a spoon but she accidentally knocked the cup over.
"Oh, Merlin!" She said and quickly put it up and grabbed a dish cloth. "Excuse me?" Regulus' eyes widened at her words. She looked over at him. "Oh, sorry, I will make you a new one." She said.
"No, not that, what did you just say?" He asked and she seemed to process and then it hit her. She put a hand over her mouth. "Oh Merlin." She said as she realised. "Wait no- shit." She murmured.
"Sorry, I don't know why I say that." She said and kept sweeping the counter.
"Tell me, Y/n, what is your partronus?" He dared to ask and her mouth fell open as she stared at him in shock. "A butterfly." She said and he let out a small laugh in surprise. "I wasn't expecting such a turn of events." He chuckled.
"BeauxBatons?" He asked and she nodded. "Hogwarts?" She asked him and he nodded. "Yeah, Slytherin, if you where wondering." He said and she chuckled. "Doesn't surprise me one bit." She said.
"When I tell you that you are no doubt a hufflepuff." He said and she giggled. "My friends at school told me the same." She admitted.
"Tell me, Y/n, do you have Veela blood?" He asked and she nodded. "Yes, how'd you know?" She asked and looked at her with a twinkle in his eyes. "It explains why you're so incredibly beautiful." He said and she blushed as she kept wiping the already clean counter.
"Are you flustered?" He teased and the blush grew. "Shut it." She mumbled making him grin.

(this work is a continuation of this post! if you haven't read it yet, please read it first for context)
Meanwhile in the Overworld, Xisuma was trying his best to not get K.O'ed by a gaggle of guardians.
He sluggishly dodged a beam in the salty water, turning around quickly just to see another hit him square in the helmet. With a sigh, he clambered out of the water and flew towards the safety of the portal a few blocks above to get some milk. Guardian wrangling was always exhausting, even when you hadn't been going at it for hours. X considered that maybe he needed a day off to take a good long nap. Maybe that day should be today.
The portal behind him whispered, speaking of someone coming through, and he turned around to see none other than Mumbo Jumbo stumble onto the stone platform he had built, holding a shulker box.
Internally, he shelved that thought with a sigh. He'd have to take a break later.
"'Ello," he said, pleasantly surprised. "Anything else you need, or were you just dropping by?"
"Well," said Mumbo, pushing his hair out of his face, "I got really really lost on my way to your portal to ask you this. Like, really lost."
"Are you alright?" asked X with concern. Mumbo did look- well, he always looked at least a little tired, but tireder than usual.
"I ran into your brother," said Mumbo.
"That doesn't answer my question," said X with a (hopefully silent) sigh.
"Okay, so you know how I left the server a few months back to go on vacation?" asked Mumbo, putting down the shulker box and, after a moment's hesitation, sitting down on it.
"Yep."
"Well I got back and uh, well, there's a lot more diamonds in there than I remember putting in," said Mumbo, patting the side of the box. "I figured since I'd run into EX instead of you, he might have-"
"They," corrected X automatically.
"Right, sorry," said Mumbo. "I figured they might have known where the diamonds went."
"Please don't tell me they tried to extort you of your money," said X with a sigh. "I can get you some of what you lost if you need-"
"No, no, they didn't," said Mumbo quickly. "Actually, they said something about it being too easy to just say it was theirs? They're the one who pointed me over here, actually. I think h- they just wanted to be rid of me, to be honest."
Xisuma hummed thoughtfully. "That tracks too," he said. "Anyways, no, I haven't lost any diamonds either."
"Huh," said Mumbo. "Any idea who might have?"
X paused another minute, looking at the shulker box Mumbo was sitting on then back to Mumbo then back to the box. He had a suspicion, but...
"Mind if I take a look at what's in it?" he asked. Mumbo nodded and X walked over and opened it. Inside sat gleaming stacks of diamond blocks and deepslate diamond ore, the blocks hastily assembled.
Ah.
So that's what was going on.
"I have an inkling," he said, standing back up and handing the box back to Mumbo, "that Ren might know more on this subject than I."
"Alright," said Mumbo with a nod. "Thanks for the lead, X. I'll make sure- I'll make sure to ask him."
"Before you go, is there anything else that EX said to you?" asked X as Mumbo stepped back to the portal. "I know they keep to themself mostly, but I'd like to know if they're planning on pulling something."
"Uh, not really, no," said Mumbo, scratching the back of his head.
"Are you sure?"
"Well, there was something about me going to therapy for anxiety," said Mumbo with a short laugh. "I'm not sure if it was actual advice or an insult."
X wanted to sigh so badly in that moment, but he kept it in check for the sake of his guest. "Yeah, that sounds like something they'd do," he said with a nod.
"Do you- do you figure they were right?" asked Mumbo, looking him in the eyes for the first time that meeting. "I just wanted a second opinion on it."
Xisuma took a long look at the man in the suit who was known serverwide as the nervous wreck with a moustach, currently tapping fingers on his pants leg. He had seen the man be confident exactly once in season 6, and never again before or since. Despite their shortcomings, EX was a good judge of character, and... yeah, he agreed with them on this.
"If you feel like it would help you," he said finally with a shrug, trying to keep his tone as lighthearted as possible, "I know either Cleo or Joe have some sort of degree in that sort of thing."
"Huh," said Mumbo. "Never would have expected that from Cleo. Well, thanks again," he said, putting one foot into the portal and giving a wave. "I'll update you if anything happens."
"See you, my friend," called X, giving back a wave of his own. He waited silently for a few seconds after Mumbo was through the other side of the portal before turning back to his rudimentary storage system with a deep sigh and a small chuckle.
"Good Lord," he muttered to himself, pulling out his comms and typing in a message to EX.
<Xisuma> By the way, Mumbo just dropped by and I told him to go to either Cleo or Joe for therapy <Xisuma> Thanks for bringing that up, I think we've been trying to schedule him an appointment under the table but nobody knows how to do that politely lol <EvilXisuma> finally. thank hels <EvilXisuma> that man was giving me secondhand embarrassment just by existing <Xisuma> hey, be nice to the man, he has anxiety <EvilXisuma> no shit, sherlock
X sighed and put his comm back in his pocket. Maybe he'd take that off day today after all.

Just Shy | Edward Teach/Blackbeard
MASTERLIST | AO3 | KO-FI
Requested by: @valoraxx
Hi!! I was wondering if I could please request a Blackbeard x reader where the reader is extremely shy? Maybe they stutter whenever they see him or try to talk to him. It’s up to you whether or not it’s headcanons or a one-shot. Thank you so much! 💕
Relationship(s): Edward Teach/Blackbeard x gn!reader (implied romantic; possibly platonic), Frenchie x gn!reader (platonic), Lucius Spriggs x gn!reader (platonic)
Summary: When Ed notices how shy you are around him compared to your friends Frenchie and Lucius, he decides that he wants to change it.
Warnings: Nothing you wouldn’t see in OFMD. (Let me know if I need to add any)
Word count: 1.5k
(A/N: The award for least creative title goes to: this fic. In hindsight, this meandered somewhat from the request and I kinda used this as a vessel to fulfil my desire to write for Lucius and Frenchie. Regardless of those aspects of the fic, I hope you enjoy this! Also, go check out my other OFMD fics if you haven’t done so yet! [Insert obligatory begging for OFMD requests])
Tumblr media
Any rational pirate would constantly be on the verge of shitting themself if Blackbeard was aboard their ship. After all, even those who weren’t pirates had heard the gruesome tales of Blackbeard. Upon his invasion, the crew was a little anxious (and, of course, awestruck) to say the least. Though, when he proved himself to be far mellower than he seemed in all those stories you had heard about him, the crew’s trepidation seemed to be eradicated… excluding your own.
Ed first fully picked up on this fact when the Revenge was docked at a port. Izzy had barked at you and Frenchie to get on with some cleaning while he, the Captains and the rest of the crew went to pick up some supplies. Unfortunately for Izzy, the crew took this as an opportunity to have a leisurely stroll through the town. The whole ‘stocking up on supplies’ part of the day was viewed as optional (something Izzy would fume about later).
“Prick...” Frenchie grumbled as he polished the railing of the ship. “We’ve been doing this all bloody morning. Everything’s clean enough already. I reckon he just got us to do this ‘cos he likes bossing people about.”
“Well, at least he’s fucked off for a bit.” you tried, mopping the floorboards of the main deck. “I’ve forgotten what it’s like to not have a banging headache.”
Frenchie laughed.
“’Ello, guys.”
You flinched. Without warning, Ed had appeared on the ship.
“Alright, Captain?” Frenchie greeted, seemingly unfazed.
You directed your attention back to the floor and continued mopping, while Frenchie used the conversation as an excuse to get out of working.
“Yeah, thanks, mate.” Ed nodded. “Anyone back yet?”
“No, not yet.” Frenchie answered. “I thought you’d ‘ve been with other Captain.” “I was, but I lost him. Iz wanted a word with me about something. Decided to come back here instead of tracking him down again.” Ed explained as though he lacked interest in his own anecdote. He quickly brightened up when he went on to ask, “What were you guys talking about, then?”
Frenchie exchanged a wide-eyed glance with you. He cleared his throat.
“Nothing, really.” he waved his hand dismissively in a failed attempt at nonchalance. “This and that, y’know.”
“I heard Y/N-” Ed nodded over to you. “Say something about someone fucking off. I think you-” He gestured to Frenchie this time. “Said something about someone being a prick, as well.”
You froze, but returned to mopping with enough vigour to convince someone that Izzy was aiming a gun at the back of your head.
“Oh, uh, yeah. That.” Frenchie faltered. He scratched the back of his neck. “Well, we were just... Slagging off Izzy a bit.”
Your grip on the mop handle was so tight that it should have snapped. To your surprise, Ed merely laughed. Frenchie sheepishly joined him. Your mouth was clamped shut.
“That’s fair enough.” Ed shrugged. “I know he can be a bit of a prick sometimes.”
“Yeah,” Frenchie agreed. “Sometimes.”
Ed furrowed his brows. “You alright, Y/N?”
You hummed in response, continuing as though he wasn’t there. He frowned and paced over to Frenchie, leaning in to whisper, “Hey, mate, is Y/N alright?”
You swallowed your saliva. Frenchie looked over his shoulder at you.
“I’d say so, yeah.”
“Ah, Ed, there you are!”
Ed turned to Stede.
Lucius was trailing behind him, clutching his book and quill to his chest. His eyes landed on you as though he had just stumbled upon a pot of gold.
“Thank God.” the scribe sighed with relief. You watched as he made his way over to you.
“Mind out, Luci, the-”
“Jesus Christ!”
He almost slipped over, but, with the book and quill tucked under his arm, he grabbed your shoulders and regained his balance.
“...Floor’s wet-”
“Look, I like that man- I really do,” Lucius interrupted in a hushed voice, gesturing to Stede (who was now engaged in a conversation with Ed). “But, it’s absolutely mortifying having people stare at us when he’s... loudly dictating everything he wants me to write. He sounds like such a posh prick. And, I kept walking into, like, massive, angry people. I’m surprised I came back alive.”
“I take it you had a nice time, then.” you responded with an amused smirk.
“Fucking dreadful, more like.” he muttered.
“You should’ve lied when he asked which of us were literate. Worked out well for me.”
“I didn’t know you enjoyed Dizzy Izzy’s tinnitus-inducing yelling so much.” Lucius countered, examining the deck. “He’s not gonna be happy when he comes back and you’ve only mopped half the floor. For shame.”
You huffed.
“Fair play.”
“Lucius!” Stede beckoned. “Your services are needed in my cabin.”
You turned your head away from your captain and snickered, while Lucius grimaced.
“Go on, Luci.” you grinned, patting him on the shoulder.
Lucius narrowed his eyes at you.
“Oh, grow up.”
Without almost slipping over this time, he crossed the deck over to Stede, who began to lead Lucius and Ed to his cabin. You quickly turned away when Ed stayed behind for a moment. His eyes briefly darted between you and Frenchie, though they were fixed on you when he called out:
“Good job, you guys!”
“Thanks, boss!” Frenchie answered, giving a thumbs up.
Ed stood there until he realised you weren’t going to respond to his praise, so followed after Stede and Lucius.
━━━━━━━━━
“Where were we, Lucius?” Stede pondered (though Lucius suspected he knew exactly where they’d gotten to). “Ah, yes, I remember. I-”
“Does Y/N not like me?” Ed questioned, much to Lucius’ delight.
“They haven’t slagged you off. Not to me, anyway.” Lucius replied. He knitted his brows. “Why do you ask?”
“They don’t seem to wanna speak to me.” Ed shrugged a little glumly.
“I wouldn’t take it personally, mate.” Stede insisted, patting him on the arm.
“I would.” Ed argued. “They were speaking to Frenchie and Lucius just fine a minute ago.”
Lucius looked up thoughtfully for a moment.
“Did they look a bit like there was a gun to their head when you were trying to speak to them?”
Ed pondered this for a moment.
“Uh, yeah, I s’pose they did a bit.”
“Well, then, that’s just them being shy.” Lucius assured. “They don’t hate you. They just… can’t speak to you. At least, not very well. And, maybe the thought of being around you makes them feel a bit sick. But, it’s nothing to do with not liking you.”
“So, they really don’t hate me?”
“Of course not, Captain.” Lucius dismissed. “Give it some time and you’ll be getting on like a house on fire.”
“Right.” Ed nodded. “Cheers, mate.”
━━━━━━━━━
“L/N!”
You looked up at Izzy from where you were turning the capstan with Jim and Oluwande.
“What are you staring at me for?” he questioned expectantly.
You groaned.
“Yes, First Mate Hands?” you responded dully.
“Captain wants to see you. Head of the ship. Now.”
“Yes, sir.” you mumbled, letting the mop fall to the floor.
As you went to leave, you heard: “Don’t just sit there, Mr. Feeney. Make yourself useful and take over!”
When you arrived at the head of the ship, you realised that you hadn’t bothered to consider which ‘captain’ Izzy was referring to. He didn’t say it with thinly veiled malice, so, in hindsight, you shouldn’t have been so surprised when you saw Ed standing there, gazing off at the ocean.
Upon hearing your creaking footsteps behind him, he turned around and offered you a smile. You swallowed your saliva.
“I-Izzy sent me, Captain Blackbeard, sir.” you stammered, your voice trembling.
Ed chuckled and clapped a hand on your shoulder. Your head whipped around and you stared at his hand.
“Don’t look so terrified, mate. I’m not gonna throw you overboard. ” Ed lightheartedly assured you. Your head instantly whipped around again to look at his face, but you quickly discovered that fixing your gaze on the sea reduced your desire to combust. He paused and peered around for a moment, seemingly in thought.
“This’d be the perfect place to do it, though, wouldn’t it?”
Watching the way your eyes widened, he pulled you in via his grip on your upper arm, something he hadn’t realised would make matters worse.
“I’m only joking!” he exclaimed through a laugh in another (albeit more successful) attempt to ease your evident worries. “I’ll just tell you why you’re here, eh? Before you shit yourself.”
Your face completely fell and heated up all at once.
“Right. So, I’ve noticed that, whenever I try to speak to you, you always look… a bit like I’m about to murder you.” Ed explained. “Now, I’d like for us to be mates, but that’s pretty difficult when you can’t really speak to me.”
“W-why do you wanna be mates?” you questioned.
“I dunno.” Ed shrugged. “You seem like a laugh, when I’ve seen you talking to people who aren’t me, anyway. Might be nice to be mates with you, y’know.”
“Um… thanks, sir.”
“You can just call me Ed, if we’re gonna be mates.”
“Alright… Ed.”

Hello, I'm a LMK fandom newbie, as in I stayed up until 5am binge-watching the show and hopped onto tumblr and ao3 for the fanart and fics before I finished S4 and got jumpscared by what I thought was spoilers only to proceed finishing the show and discovering those ideas are way too prevalent for them to end up...not in the show at all. So I'm wondering if there's like, some extra material I missed asides from the four seasons and specials, like. I would presume Macaque and Sun Wukong's backstory comes from The Actual Journey to the West the fandom decided to use because ain't nobody killing anybody here, JJK round two there for a minute and I was baffled...but I'm wondering where the other stuff comes from, there's so many characters I don't see in the show, I paused typing this for a minute to look up the origin of the Bai He stuff so I know that now lmao, but Princess Iron Fan and Macaque being siblings?? Ello? And I paused again while typing this because I was still baffled by the varying different "why did SWK kill MQ" takes that ain't no way that's all coming from a single story and apparently it was implied in S3 helloooooo 😭 fandom phenomenon of fanworks going so hard for no reason the expectations I built up on the final episode going "okay this is it, then I sleep, this has to be the one with the full flashback right...right?!" I think that's what fandom might've done with the side characters too lol.
Alright, so there’s a number of things to address here, but I will do my best to try and explain everything to the best of my ability-
So firstly, yes in JTTW, Sun Wukong kills Macaque, they weren’t sworn brothers or anything like that, they didn’t have any sort of relationship, Macaque swooped in, pretended to be Sun Wukong, fought Wukong a lot while literally everyone is trying to figure out who is the real one, but eventually Buddha exposes Macaque, and Wukong kills him. There is evidence to support that Wukong did kill Macaque in LMK as well, since in season 3 LBD says she brought Macaque back to the mortal realm, and Wukong and Macaque are shown to have fought, with Wukong coming out victorious, so it’s safe to assume yes, Wukong did kill Macaque in lmk as well, the reason behind why he did so is unknown currently, some people think it’s because Macaque attacked the gang in an attempt to save Wukong, but we don’t have a reason for it in the show, but I do hope we get one.
Regarding Princess Iron Fan and Macaque being siblings, that is just a headcanon the fandom made, at this point there’s nothing even implying such a thing in the show as far as I’m aware, I understand why you’d think that’s canon because when I first got into lmk, I thought that was true too. The lmk fandom does like to use characters that aren’t in show, but do appear in lmk Lego sets, such as Rumble and Savage, or characters from jttw, like Wukong’s four generals, Marshals Ma, Beng, Ba and Liu, for lmk fanfiction and au’s. Ultimately it does take some research to figure out what is actually canon, and what is just a fandom headcanon, a lot of side characters in lmk, like Jin and Yin, sadly don’t have a lot of chances to shine or do anything really noteworthy more than maybe once or twice, so we don’t get to really know too much about them, so we take what we can and add more to it, make our own interpretation and put our own spin on things.
I hope I was able to help clear up any confusion you might have, I’m sorry if I didn’t really help that much or if I missed anything or got something wrong, this is my first time being asked about something like this, but I hope that this helped, even just a little bit!

Hey! Can I request fluff spider-man(tom) x male reader with wings also he is a super hero like tom and reader is best friend but tom and reader have feeling for each other and tom finds out that reader is a super hero and he is just so excited
Tumblr media
Author Note: sorry if this took a while I tried to accommodate both requests but please remember English isn’t my first language and tried to make it up to both of you by writing a lot more stuff than usual
I’m one of the many vigilantes that New York City has but I mostly work in queens where another powered hero works the famous Spider-Man
I’ve seen him many times during my work he always talks a lot and asks me a ton of questions about my wings so I try not to answer too many for fear of my identity being figured out
I work and patrol every night but by morning I’m completely normal I have to make sure everything about me is completely hidden so working in the dark like Batman or something is my best option
By morning I’m a barista at a coffee shop where I work with my friends Ned and Mj who have all been my friends since high school
And then there’s Peter Parker, I’ve also known him for the same amount of time but I’ve always been in love with him
He visits the shop every morning and afternoon talking to Mj and Ned and trying to talk to me but it’s like every time we see each other neither of us knows what to say
Today was a slow day so we closed up early and then stayed over hours sitting down drinking hot cocoa while Ned was talking about a new video game
Mj was making a bunch of jokes about what a nerd he was and I couldn’t help but laugh at the jokes as Mj suddenly changed her attention to me
“Sooooo you and Peter huh?” She said looking at me with a sly smile as I scoffed and shook my head watching as she and Ned exchanged a look
“Where just friends ok?” I said as both of them huffed at that rolling their eyes at me as I shrugged them off taking a sip of my drink
“Ok well you can tell him that when he gets here,” Ned said as he and Mj started chuckling both watching my shocked expression
“What? You called him here?!” I said practically yelling as heat ruse up in my face and Mj took her time sipping her drink before answering me
“Yeah it’s a slow day so we wanted to have him join us and maybe get you guys to finally talk,” she said laughing at my reaction
“Oh come on it’ll be fun we can all just hang out,” Ned said with a big grin as I groaned out a small fine and they both cheered clinking their cups before chugging it down
I went to go make another batch of cocoa for everyone including Peter as I was almost done I noticed that my wings were feeling uncomfortable
I’ve never had them like that for a long period and it hurt a ton I peeled out of the back and saw Mj and Ned and called out to them
“Hey, guys I'm gonna use the bathroom real quick ok?” I said as they both said alright before Mj said
“Just don’t take too long lover boy!” And they both erupted into laughter as I walked into the bathroom I removed my clothes and let out my wings
They were stalls in the bathroom but none of them could possibly fit my wings as they were to large when they spread out
I groaned as they spread out slowly, I rolled my shoulders and flapped them a bit to get more movement in them to try and soothe them a bit
Peter Parker’s Pov:
Mj and Ned had invited me to the store saying that it was a slow day, I had just finished with my patrol and decided it would be good to see my friends and the guy I like
I walked there and knocked on the door as I heard them fighting over which one should get up and open the door I chuckled to myself at their behavior
Ned ended up opening the door as Mj shot him a look from where she was sitting I stepped inside taking in the homey smell and the atmosphere
“Where’s y/n,” I asked them as they both looked at each tiger with smug smiles that made my face heat up
“He’s in the bathroom” Ned replied locking the door again and walking back to his seat as I joined them
“Ned hand him your controller,” Mj said as he groaned at that sounding offded
“Why do I have to do that! I suggested the game” he whined as she scoffed at his behavior
“Because he’s good at it,” she said as he let out a hurt gasp at the accusation she gave him
“Hey it’s fine I don’t have to play I can just watch you guys,” you said trying not to escalate anything as Ned gave a happy smile and Mj rolled her eyes
I watched as they played against each other Ned losing as she laughed at him and even though Mj makes fun of us for being nerds she was always secretly one or not secret
“Hey y/n hasn’t been back for a while shouldn’t we check on him?” Ned asked curiously eyeing both as we started to notice his absence
“I think Peter should go, since he’s the only one not playing,” Mj said as Ned both nodded at me not giving me room to argue as my face turned red
“Alright I’ll see if he’s ok” I got up and headed through the back to the bathroom, I assumed he would be in a stall so I opened the door with no second thought only to be completely taken aback at the sight before me
Reader’s Pov
My head whipped around as I and Peter made eye contact and we both stood there frozen neither of us making the first move both standing completely shocked
I had known that someone could walk in at any time but I was sure It was locked I was always careful but the slow day must have messed me up
Knowing I couldn’t have him say anything to the others I pulled him inside and locked the door behind me and turned to face him as he watched me speechless
“Peter you can’t say a thing to the others do you understand?” I said practically begging him grabbing his shoulders to emphasize my point as he looked at me with wide eyes
“Y-yeah yeah! I won’t tell anyone I promise,” he stuttered out pondering something on his mind and I knew the question
“Yes I’m the vigilante with wings Peter,” I said sighing as he smiled brightly at me practically beaming
“That’s the coolest thing ever! How do you use them? Are you an alien? Can you fight with them?” He was practically attacking me with questions and I couldn’t help but feel that he was adorable
“I use them like any bird, I’m not alien, and not that well,” I answered as he smiled at my replies my body finally relaxed but my feathers felt uncomfortable
I groaned again as I moved them a bit spreading them out further as Peter watched in awe
“Do they hurt?” He asked in genuine concern with a small pout, his empathetic nature always helped me feel better
“Only when I keep them in the same position for too long they kinda feel packed in the same area but I can’t reach most of them,” I said showing him by reaching a hand back
“Do you want me to help you?” Turning my head to look back at him he smiled more softly at me this time not trying to overstep any boundaries
“Fine, but don’t treat me like some type of lab rat,” I said pulling them back in to face the mirror before completely spreading them out to the point where I couldn’t see Peter anymore
“That’s so cool,” he said lowly this time running his fingers atop my feathers and I sighed at the gentle touch practically leaning into it
“Don’t waste time just spread them out a bit and if they look out of place, put them back if you can,” I said telling him to do knowing that he probably would have been confused
“Ok, got it.” He said testing the water by spreading out a few feathers farther out near the top of my wing as he gently pulled on them careful not to hurt me
It felt like getting a good back rub and honestly, Peter was pretty damn good at this his hands were almost made for this in a way
He started moving in toward my back as he finally reached the end and ran his hand over it making me turn my head at him as he made eye contact with me
“Sorry” he quickly said getting back to work and moving onto my other wing and giving it the same care and treatment as the other working his way gently towards the end as he made sure or be extra careful with himself
He finally finished with both smoothing out both of my wings and putting them into place one final time before pulling back
I reclined my wings and turned to face him grabbing my shirt from atop the sink as he finally seemed to notice the fact that I was shirtless blushing and turning away
I chuckled at his reaction putting on my work shirt and buttoning it up fixing any creases before putting on the apron and tying it around me as he stood there nervously chewing his nails
“Thanks for the help I needed that,” I said trying to break the silence as he finally looked up at me and I gave him a smile to which he so gladly returned
“It’s no big deal I can help you next time if you ever need it again,” he spoke out turning an even darker shade
“Plus,” he added “I get what it’s like with the whole vigilante thing,” he said looking up at me as he was trying to gaze at my reaction
“What do you mean?” I asked urging him on as he pondered what to tell me
“Well don’t tell anyone but I’m um kind of Spider-Man,” he said sounding unsure of himself
“What do you mean kind of?” I asked as he looked down embarrassed
“Let me just show you,” he said grabbing a bracelet-like a thing and putting it on his wrist before he used it showing his webs
“Holy shit,” I let out astonished at that as he giggled a bit at my reaction
“I built these but I do have powers like super strength and stuff,” he said scratching the back of his neck
“That’s pretty cool Peter, you always did have a heroes heart,” I said smiling at him as he did the same bashfully
“Well maybe we could talk about it sometime or even team up how cool would that be?” He said excitedly
“And we can share how we both got these abilities and help each other with this” he continued rambling
“Sure we could set up a date,” I said smugly as he nodded at that
“We should probably get back before the tiger starts getting suspicious,” I said pointing to the door he agreed and he walked out
I walked into the kitchen and motioned for him to come with me as he stood by me watching as I was finishing up the cups I had made earlier
“Who else knows?” I asked him not facing him this time focused entirely on the drinks
“Just Ned he helps sometimes but no one else, you?” He asked eyeing me curiously as I mixed in some caramel in all four cups
“No one knows your the first,” I answered nonchalantly as I added some whipped cream and a ton of marshmallows with caramel drizzled on top
I finally turned to face him as I noticed his face looking happy and almost fulfilled at my response
I turned my body completely toward him as I approached him and he looked up at me innocently
“Peter, I’ve liked you for some time now can I know if you feel the same?” I asked him lowly making sure he could still hear me and watching as his ears turned red and he blushed
“I like you too I have for a while,” he said just as low as I grabbed his chin and leaned in to kiss him softly pressing a sweet kiss on his lips as he put his hand on the counter steadying himself
I pulled away and he looked behind him in shock and clear embarrassment as I followed his gaze to see Mj and Ned standing behind us in the doorway
They both had smug looks on their faces as Mj reached out her hand towards Ned and he handed her some money groaning
“I told you I could make them confess,” she said pride radiating off of her as she smiled
I just laughed at the two's antics grabbing their cups and handing them to them as they both accepted them eagerly
“Thanks, y/n you make the best cocoa,” Ned said taking a big gulp of it Mj agreed, nodding as she sipped her drink
I turned to hand Peter his drink who gave me a small and quiet thank you before taking a sip himself and nodding his head
“Ok let’s go watch a movie or something else I’m bored with nerdy games,” Mj said turning around and heading out as Ned followed out
I took my own cup and gently grabbed Peters's hand as he smiled at me and we walked out together hand in hand sipping our drinks
We sat down with the gang fighting over which we should choose and Mj tell us that all of our movie choices suck before we all decided to watch some cheesy movie laughing the entire time
Being a hero it’s normal for me to feel alone usually, but sitting here with everyone watching a movie drinking some cocoa, and finally having someone I could trust with my secret felt nice to have even if it was just for a second
~The End~

dream girl
15. clusterfuckery continues
———
1:37 AM
The clock on your phone blinks unwaveringly as you check the time, your brows pinched together. A little more than an hour had passed since you left Suna’s apartment, just sitting in the lobby of your building and wallowing in your own terrible luck.
Slapping your cheeks, you readjust yourself, placing your feet flat on the ground and taking a deep breath. You had to figure out somewhere to go, a place you could at least get out of the soaking clothes that suctioned to your skin like a vacuum seal. Suna was a no-go definitely, he hadn’t even responded to your text telling him you made it to your apartment. Not to mention, you doubted he would let the night end peacefully if you explained why you went back. You thought, for a second, maybe Lev would have somewhere for you, but that quickly scratched off your list. He lived three hours away, and with the way the rain was going, you doubted that the trains were running. Especially not this late.
The back-and-forth in your mind went on for a little while longer as you mentally ran down the list of friends and acquaintances you knew and trusted enough to spend a night with. Finally, after what was entirely too long, your brain landed on a logical answer.
Samu.
The man you had met months ago at a party you had longed to leave.
“Of course–” You mumbled to yourself, pulling out your phone with shaky hands. Your head dips forward as you dial his number, chewing on your bottom lip and listening to the ringing of the line. You don’t try to hide the worry he might not pick up— that the line would ring off like it had every time before and you would be back at square one.
Ring…
Ring…
Ring…
“‘Ello?” Osamu’s groggy voice answers the call and you feel relief flood your entire body, an audible sigh leaving you. “Y/n? Are ya okay, darlin’?” He sounds tired (oh gods, you didn’t wake him up, did you?) but still worried. Heat prickles at the edge of your eyes, tears welling up just at hearing his concerned voice. You sniffle, trying not to break down, but completely fail as fat tears build up until they’re rolling down your cheeks.
“S-Samu,” You whimper pathetically, body curling in on itself slightly as you sit there, sobbing and sniffling. You can’t stop crying now that you started and the sobs cause your entire body to shake, your breathing hiccuping and wet.
“Darlin’, what’s wrong?” Osamu’s voice reaches you, sounding much more alert now that he’s heard you cry. Through sobs, you try to communicate what happened, but it’s hard to make out what you’re saying through your near-frantic blubbering. You’d feel ashamed if you had any ounce of energy left in you. “Y/n!” Samu calls your name a couple of times, getting your attention. “Take a deep breath, okay? In and out slowly,” he instructs you, dramatically breathing with you so you can hear his own demonstration.
You do as he says, curling further into yourself on the squeaky lobby chair. Eventually, your sobbing is calmed for the time being and you can talk more clearly. “I’m so-sorry,” You hiccup out, taking another deep breath. Samu sighs, chuckling a little.
“It’s alright.. Now tell me what happened,” Osamu falls silent and listens as you explain the night, how none of your roommates answered your call, how they essentially locked you out, and how they were still ignoring your messages and calls even now. You pause every now and then to chew on your lips or to make sure the man is still listening.
When all is said and done, you wipe your hand over your face, resting the heel of your palm on your forehead. “A-anyway, can you come… pick me up? I just need a place to stay tonight,” Your question comes out sheepish, eyes trained on the floor. Counting the tan specks that litter the cheap tiles. Samu sucks air in through his teeth, shuffling coming through the other line.
“I want’ta, but I don’ have my official license yet,” He says, a string of curses sounding under his breath. You sigh with him, pressing your lips together.
“It’s fine, Samu.. I can just find a hotel or something,”
“Nah,” He cuts you off quickly. “Lemme see if my roommate’s still up,” Osamu waits to hear you hum in agreement before stepping away from the phone. You can hear him walking away and then some vague voices, but don’t hear any exact details of the conversation. You wait. A moment later, the man returns to his phone, clearing his throat. “Okay, darlin’, my roommate’s gonna pick ya up, so yer just gonna need to hang tight,” He says. You feel relief flood your entire body, relaxing into the chair you sit in.
“Okay, I’ll wait for them,” You say, your cheek resting against your shoulder.
“Okay.” Samu yawns and falls silent for a moment. “Y/n, ‘m gonna nap until you get here, okay? I can stay on the call,”
“No, get your rest,” You wave your hand, as if the man could see that, and dismiss the idea of staying on the call entirely. You bid your goodbyes and end the call, turning off your phone and stuffing it into the pocket of your jacket.
You still feel shitty.
Admittedly, the little cry you had helped to relieve some of the built-up feelings that had, truthfully, been brewing for the past couple of weeks. The knowledge that you had a place to go besides your apartment was calming, as well. There was still the issue of how you let yourself get this worked up.
You were normally better at controlling your emotions, at managing and compartmentalizing everything that went on around you so that you could get things done. Making friends, getting schoolwork done, participating in extracurriculars and dealing with the people you lived with were all things you were used to. So why was this what got you?
You decided not to think about it anymore, and instead focused on something else. The rain got heavier as more time passed, until the whole world beyond the doors of the building lobby was nothing more than a muddy streak in your vision. Perhaps thirty minutes, maybe more, passed before anything changed. A pair of headlights on a car pull up right outside the doors. You stare at the lights and the vague shape of the car they’re attached to.
Seconds later, the doors to your building are pulled open and someone else walks into the building, carrying an umbrella. The figure steps fully inside before they close the umbrella, shaking off the excess water and tying it closed. The newcomer is freakishly tall, just like a majority of the students you end up running into or seeing (did this school secretly hire models as students or what). His hair is slightly curly, the dark strands sticking to his forehead and neck from the rain. Besides his eyes— which are looking around the lobby —and the two moles above his eyebrow, his face is obscured by a mask. The stranger’s eyes land on you and he approaches in quick steps.
Was… was this Osamu’s roommate?
“Y/n?” His hand lifts to point to you, asking if he has your name right. You stare owlishly at him for a second, unsure whether you should answer and only just then realizing that you forgot to ask Osamu what the hell his roommate was named or looked like. “Miya sent me,” he says, sounding exasperated as he explains himself. Your eyes widen in recognition, another flood of relief rolling through you.
“O-oh.. Yes, I’m Y/n.. You’re his roommate?” You ask, verifying his identity as you gather your things and pull your jacket tightly around you. The strange man only nods, motioning with his head to the doors and heading that way. You hurry to catch up to his long strides. He’s already unfurled his umbrella and pulling open the door when you manage to get to his pace and not stumble over your own feet. You duck out of the door, careful not to get anymore soaked then you are, and follow him into his car.
It’s silent.
The man drives expertly, and you can’t help but watch as he pulls the car away with precise motions, impressed with his air of elegance. “Thank you,” You mumble after a moment, your fingers fiddling with your jacket. He glances at you from the corner of his eye, but you don’t see any other change in his expression.
“For what,”
“For coming to pick up a stranger up for your roommate, especially in this rain…” You trail off as he continues to show no sign of even having heard you. Then he huffs, almost (just almost) sounding amused…
“I owed him.” He turns the steering wheel and the car sails onto a new street, the rain falling harder against the car. “I’m Sakusa,” He says after a moment, his eyes glancing away from the road to you then back to the road. You continued to watch him, your brows pinched together slightly. By all means, he had no reason to introduce or concern himself with you. You were just a stranger who happened to be friends with his roommate.
“Nice to meet you. I’m Y/n,” You reply, returning the favour despite him already knowing your name technically. Sakusa hums.
The car falls silent again. You shift in your seat to stare out the window. A yawn escapes you, your cheek resting in your palm, and your eyelids feel droopy. You widen your eyes, exaggerating your expression in an attempt to keep yourself awake. It fails miserably, as you only end up with even droopier eyelids. Sleep keeps pulling you in, calling to you with comforting warmth.
When Sakusa pulls up to his own apartment building, you’re passed out completely, practically a corpse in his seat. If it was any other stranger who had fallen asleep in his seat, he might’ve just kicked them out and sent his car to the wash. But you were Samu’s friend (he had heard your name more than enough times in conversation to know some things about you), and you had been decent to him and thanked him. So, Sakusa thought that you deserved a little niceness yourself. Careful not to wake you or jostle you too much, he tugged you out of his car. Slinging your arm over his shoulders and supporting the back of your knees with his arm, he carried you up to his shared apartment.
He laid you on the couch gingerly and covered you with a blanket. You and Osamu could talk more in the morning, but for now, you needed rest.

Chapter Two
Crowley
It was a bad day.
All of the days had been bad, since the angel-who-shall-not-be-named stepped into that elevator and out of his life.
Soho had taken on a permanent gloom, the skies overcast with dark, grey clouds, never raining but the threat of it always present, and the air was uncomfortably warm and somehow damp all at once. Many travellers in London were surprised to find, once travelling outside the area, that the grey clouds completely disappeared just on the other side of the river - luckily, the English love to talk about weather, especially peculiar weather, so this local phenomenon went largely unnoticed.
The cause of the gloom, a tall, lanky demon who was currently draped across a bar with a bottle of Talisker in hand, was unaware himself that he was the reason for the overcast skies, his mind completely preoccupied on the one thing he didn't want to think about at all.
Aziraphale.
Crowley growled, pushing the thought, the name, the memory, away.
It had been forty-one days.
Forty-one days since he had last seen him. Forty-one days since he had tried to tell his angel everything - give his angel everything - and forty-one days since he had been rejected. Left. Abandoned.
The pain of the memory still made him wince behind his dark glasses.
"Ello, love. You look like you could do with a bit of cheering up." A woman with a shock of pink hair and a nose ring winked at him from the other side of the bar. "Maybe I could help."
Crowley tried to sit up straight and looked the woman up and down. "I don't think... anyone can help, to be honest."
The woman, taking this as an invite, abandoned the friend she had been sitting next to and scooted over to the barstool next to Crowley. She flashed him a lipsticked smile. "Well let me be the judge of that. Drink?"
Crowley raised his bottle, indicating he already had a drink, and turned away from the woman.
In all honesty, he had considered it, a few weeks ago, back when the pain not only made him wince but made his eyes sting too. He'd visited some of Soho's more interesting clubs and danced with scantily clad humans, letting them run their hands wherever they wanted, trying to forget, trying to find new things to feel, but it all left him feeling so... empty. He hadn't been able to go through with it, not once - he left them staring after him with lust still in their eyes as he slouched out of the club with a half-mumbled apology.
He didn't know how to do this. He never thought he'd ever have to. Even when the angel had been cross with him, even when they went centuries without speaking, Crowley had never had to imagine life without Aziraphale. Because he'd known, deep down, that the angel was a fixed point in his life. The one thing that made sense.
"Alright love, I can take a hint," shrugged the pink-haired woman and went back to her original seat. "You were right. Gay," she said to her friend.
Crowley turned to address the women, but after a pause, shrugged and looked out of the window. The sun was beginning to go down - not that you could tell through the increasingly dark clouds. He glugged back the last of his drink and slammed the bottle on the bar before lurching for the exit - it was time.
He had no idea why he'd started driving past the bookshop every night. That first night, he'd been drinking (pretty much the status quo these days) and had suddenly been struck by the thought that Aziraphale might change his mind - it happened all the time, both of them, they'd get in an argument, one of them realised they were wrong, they'd sort it out, maybe an apology dance would be involved - and then everything would be alright again. Hope had caught like a lump in his throat, and within moments he had found himself racing in the Bentley towards the bookshop, with every second passing the hope grew larger and larger, until he was convinced that he was right, and that in just a few moments, everything was going to be okay. They'd find a way to make it okay.
He'd pulled up to the bookshop with a screech, just as the sun was going down, and saw that the bookshop's lights were on - and a figure moving inside! Hardly daring to believe it, Crowley fumbled for the door handle to exit the car but unable to tear his eyes away from the angel within.
Everything was going to be okay.
The figure turned and Crowley's eyes took a second to register what they were seeing.
It was, indeed, an angel.
But not his angel.
Before Muriel had raised their hand to wave cheerily at him, Crowley was already driving away. Of course, of course, he should have known that Aziraphale would need somebody in there to keep an eye on things. Of course he wasn't coming back. Of course he would never choose Crowley over Heaven. Of course, of course.
But ever since then, Crowley returned every night to drive past the bookshop. Despite everything, there was still a tiny spark of hope that would not die. Very often, he wished that it would, so that he could get on with whatever was going to come next. But for now, he would keep returning to the bookshop, not stopping, not ever wanting to set foot inside that place again, but just to keep putting to sleep that tiny bit of hope.
Tonight, however, Crowley came to a sudden stop outside the bookshop. He leaned over the passenger seat, lowering his dark glasses. "Well that's not right," he muttered to himself.
For the first time ever, the entire bookshop was in total darkness. Every night previously, Crowley had spotted Muriel out of the corner of his eyes, reading a book or tidying shelves or, more often than not, waving happily from the window, apparently unbothered by Crowley's attempts to ignore them. And the lights were always on.
Pulling over the Bentley and exiting the car, Crowley scanned up and down the street, seeking anything suspicious.
His gaze landed on the coffee shop opposite - a place he had actively avoided since the-day-that-shall-not-be-named. To his total surprise, he saw that the entire place was full to the brim with angels. Every seat in the place was taken by someone in full-length white robes with elaborate gold hairstyles, and they all seemed to be listening intently to someone just out of sight.
Crowley blinked and removed his glasses, rubbing his eyes furiously. Was he really seeing this? Maybe he'd finally drunk himself to insanity.
He took a step closer to the coffee shop, feeling suddenly lightheaded. All kinds of impossible thoughts were running through his mind now. Had Aziraphale, as Grand Supreme Archangel with a fondness for Earth, decided to hold some kind of meeting here? Was he... in there?
A strange whooshing sound in his ears, Crowley stumbled through the door of the coffee shop and rounded the corner to face the unknown speaker, hope clutching in the back of his throat once more.
"Aziraphale?"
The name came out as a moan rather than a question.
Every head swivelled towards him, and in that moment Crowley realised his mistake.
They weren't angels, they were humans. Dressed in... white sheets, mostly. With weird gold leaf things in their hair. One by one, he recognised various faces. Mrs Sandwich. Mr. Brown. Mutt. Justine. Maggie. And the person who had been speaking was... Nina, who was now looking at him in total shock.
"Oh," said Crowley, choking back his disappointment. "Oh."
"Mr Crowley!" Muriel's excitable voice came from somewhere behind him. "I didn't know you were going to be coming. Isn't this exciting?" Crowley turned slowly. Muriel, too, was wrapped in a white sheet, their beaming face sprinkled in gold glitter with stars across their forehead. "Apparently this is called a 'tow-guh' party. We're all pretending we're from Ancient Rome. But luckily, with better sanitation."
Muriel's words barely registered in Crowley's mind. He was drunk, very, very drunk, and all of a sudden much too tired to stand anymore. The weight of his disappointment came crashing down on him and he sank into the nearest chair.
"Right... well..." said Nina, nervously trying to draw everyone's attention away from Crowley. "I think we've pretty much discussed everything we needed to, so I am officially drawing this meeting of the Whickber Street Traders and Shopkeepers Association to a close."
"Time to party?" piped up Mrs Sandwich, with a grin.
"Er... yes, I suppose so," agreed Nina, glancing over at Maggie, who was already making a beeline for Crowley's slumped figure.
"And let's raise our glasses to dear Mr Fell, who began this rather amusing tradition of theming our monthly meetings. Wherever you disappeared to, Mr Fell, you are missed!" cried out Mr Arnold. "To Mr Fell!"
Everyone raised their glasses. "Mr Fell!"
Maggie and Nina sat either side of Crowley just in time to hear him whisper, "Mr Fell", and they looked at each other in silent agreement that they would ignore the single, solitary tear that ran down onto the paint-chipped table.
"We've been a little worried about you, Mr Crowley," said Maggie softly. She tentatively put her hand on his shoulder, but he squirmed away and wobbled into what he hoped was an upright position (it wasn't).
"Whaddya mean? 'M fine. Obviously fine. Totally fine."
Nina rolled her eyes. "Yeah, you really look it."
"Anyway, I'm pretty sure I told both of you to forget all about everything and never ever talk to me again, didn't I? Eh?" Crowley snarled.
"You came into my shop!" retorted Nina.
Crowley grunted and slouched back into his seat.
Music began pumping into the little coffee shop and bodies began swirling and dancing and laughing around them. Crowley's face remained impassive and the three sat in silence for a moment, watching the shopkeepers and traders as they enjoyed themselves. Muriel stood awkwardly in the crowd, politely declining Mr Brown's offer of wine and Mrs Sandwich's insistence to dance. Despite smiling brightly at everyone, when anyone wasn't looking, the angel's face looked panicked, their huge eyes watching the humans closely to try and mimic their behaviour.
"Poor bugger," muttered Crowley. "Dropped on Earth and left to fend for themselves. Bet he hasn't even checked to see how they're doing."
"He?" said Maggie.
"Yeah. Him. Stupid old angel. Doesn't care about... about anyone but... Heaven... and God... and the stupid. Bloody. Ineffable. Plan." He spat out the words with venom.
"So I take it your little chat didn't go well then," said Nina.
Crowley twisted to face her, his face taut with barely suppressed rage.
"No. No it didn't. And I have you to thank for that, don't I?" he hissed.
Nina was tough, but there was something about Crowley that genuinely made her blood run cold when he spoke like that. It was the same presence she'd felt when he'd urged her into the bookshop that fateful night, some power that she knew she would be helpless to fight. So, despite her instincts that always told her to never back down from a fight, she nodded.
"Yes. I suppose you do. Sorry."
She held Crowley's gaze, feeling the heat of his rage - and then, all at once, it vanished.
He crumpled, and this time allowed Maggie's reassuring pat on his shoulder.
"S'not your fault, is it. Not really. Was inevitable, really." Crowley's voice was quiet. "I mean... what was I thinking. Why would an angel even look at me. I'm... I'm unforgivable, that's what I am."
"Oh, I'm sure you're not..." interjected Maggie.
"No, I am! I am! He told me enough bloody times. 'Crowley, you're evil. Crowley, you're a demon. Crowley, I don't even like you. We are not friends.' He said it. Again and again. And I just... I dunno. I guess I thought, over the years... that we were... That he saw..." Crowley broke off, with a shuddering breath. He'd said too much. He hated this feelings talk. Why did these two always make him do this?
"Right. I'm going to leave you to your... party."
"Are you going to be okay?" Maggie asked, concerned.
"'M always okay," mumbled Crowley as he stood, leaning against the table to stop the room from swimming. "See?"
"We're always here, you know, if you wanted to talk," said Nina.
Crowley raised an eyebrow. It was unlike Nina to show compassion. His eyes flicked between the two women and saw that some of Maggie's softness had been rubbing off on her. It was just like when he and Aziraphale...
No. Mustn't think about that.
"When you go, would you walk Muriel back to the bookshop? They don't look like they're having much fun."
Muriel was sandwiched between two enthusiastically twerking shopkeepers and looking completely perplexed. Crowley groaned. "Yeah, alright. Oi, angel. Let's go."
The familiar honorific slipped from his mouth without him even thinking about it. It felt wrong.
It wasn't their fault, he'd done it to himself, but he felt a wave of anger towards Muriel as they extricated themself from the dancefloor and fled to his side. Their wide-eyed hopeful expression made him grit his teeth. "Thanks, Mr Crowley. Humans are... weird."
"Whatever. I'm taking you home... I mean, to Az... I mean, to the bookshop."
As they walked over to the bookshop, Crowley tuned out Muriel's cheerful chatter about everything they'd learned this evening about humans and dancing and shopkeeping. His mind was thoroughly preoccupied, mostly by how much he'd managed to embarrass himself this evening. He was drinking pretty much around the clock these days, and hadn't really thought it had affected him all that much. It just helped everything feel... less. It blurred the sharpness of the memories, numbed the pain of facing the fact that he was truly alone now. He'd once told Aziraphale that he had never been lonely, but they'd both known it was a lie. And now the loneliness was back, only this time it ached and roared like never before, because this time he knew how it felt to have someone, and their absence made the loneliness cavernous. It ate away at him, pulling away at his insides in ways Hell couldn't even dream of.
He sighed, and Muriel stopped their chatter to gaze up at him, concerned. "Are you alright?"
"Never better," lied the demon.
Even Muriel could spot a lie that obvious. "Right. Um, can I ask you something? Please?"
Crowley quirked an eyebrow but didn't stop them from continuing.
"Well... I was just wondering... see, it's something Nina and Maggie said, and it made me think... well, I just wanted to ask if you and... and Mr Fell... Well, were you in love?"
Crowley's mouth moved but no sound came out. Muriel stared.
"...No."
"No?" Muriel asked.
"No. Now - get yourself inside that bookshop and do bookshoppy things, okay? Read and dust and move things around, quote obscure things and remember to never sell anything. Not one book. Most important rule of all." Crowley ushered them into the door, but careful not to touch it, not to look inside. He couldn't look inside. If he looked inside he would remember. If he remembered he would never stop remembering. "I bet you're doing a fabulous job, even if upstairs haven't been checking in to say so, so keep it up, 'kay?"
"Oh, they do check in, but thanks Mr Crowley," beamed Muriel from the door. One of the gold stars from their forehead was peeling off and wobbling, threatening to fall.
Crowley froze. "They... they check in? Does... does he check in?"
"Yes, of course! Every Friday. Always asking about the books."
Crowley knew he should stop now. He knew he should just get into the car, drive away, never come back. But before he could stop himself, his traitorous lips asked the question. "Does he ask about... anything else? I mean... does he ask about... me?" he whispered the last word.
Muriel's usually bright face fell slightly, their mouth twisting, and Crowley turned away, slinking back to his car.
He had his answer.
"I'm sorry, Mr Crowley. I'm sure he's just really -"
"Yeah, yeah. I'm sure." Crowley wanted this to be the moment his hope died forever. He couldn't go on like this.
He opened the door to the Bentley and hesitated before getting in. "Muriel?"
"Yes?"
"Yes."
"Yes... what?"
"Yes I was in love. With him. With Aziraphale."
Crowley took a deep, shuddering breath. He felt something, some kind of pressure, leave him - it was the first time he had ever uttered those words, even in his own mind, the first time he had allowed the truth out.
Muriel clasped their hands together. "But... but you said no."
Crowley's mouth set into a firm line as he swung into the car, his expression hardening.
"I'm a demon. I lied."

I can literally never not be anxious, its like its built into my system lmao. im fairly laid back, but i get really tense around people i don't known well. im also known to have a resting bitch face, so a lot of people think im scarier or tougher than i actually am. I really enjoy laughing at stuff, and i like to think that im pretty funny. Im also smart, but i always have to work a little but harder to understand stuff, specifically in math, which makes me a little frustrated. i have pretty bad insecurities about my body, but most of the time i pretend they don't exist lmao. i do really enjoy fashion, and i could spend hours trying on clothes. im empathetic, and i tend to mold to whoever im talking to at the moment. there are few people i can be myself around.. i try not to get to attached to people i might date, but deep down inside i am the worst hopeless romantic the world has ever seen. sorry if this is too long and tysm!! <33

Ello Ello!! Ty for requesting! The more information the better of an idea of you to ship you with so it's completely fine :))
I ship you with Hermione Granger! I could see you definitely part of the golden trio. And as like the civil mind of the chaotic group. It may have took some coaxing but they got you to warm up to them. Yours and Moine's relationship would be a slow start. Maybe sometime around year 3 or 4 at Hogwarts did you finally start eyeing each other. With little glances to each other throughout the day. wich then sprouted into one on one time without the boys. Starting with little study dates and branching out to meeting each other in the mornings and evenings. She's very observant and could sense the obvious connection to one another but would wait until you felt ready enough to act on it. But at the same time put a slight pressure on you with it. Just brushing her hand against yours or even holding it at times. As well as complimenting your outfits whenever you weren't in your school robes. And showing she's paid attention to your interests. Asking if she can see some of your writing, giving affirmations on how well your grades are doin and and offeringl help if you needed it, and attempting to bring your nerves down when you get a little too anxious. When you do become official, her and you find comfort in each other. Wether it be ranting or expressing your insecurities. She's always there for you. Making sure youre alright and seeing if your taking care of yourself. Hermione was glad you fell for her. Even if you drifted away at first, she's so so great full you came back to her.
HOPE YOU LIKED THIS AND TY TY

Forging the Future (Piltover’s Finest. Arcane)
Ello everyone E here and realizing I really need to write more often. I didn't realize a month had passed! A lot of stuff came up and frankly it's been really flipping hot but here we are. Gonna write more in the future. Next is either gonna be an Owl House idea I had or Mirror's Edge. I wanted to finish the arcs in Mirror's Edge so that's why i haven't worked on any popular media lately but that's changing now. One and one or something like that. How ever I feel.
Look. It sucks right now. In a lot of ways for a lot of people. Don't give up. Keep fighting for yourself. For each other. And if you can't fight you can take care of people. Be their support give them your love. Listen to them and make sure they're okay. and if it's too much there's no shame in just existing and find little pockets of joy. Do what's best for you. Stay informed. Don't let people fool you into bullshit and we do what we can. Nothing more and nothing less.
Alright I actually have a warning this time round. I decided to do this for fun but I am now pulling from the lore. I am now adding little winks, nods and maybe even full characters from the League universe. I am not the most knowledgeable but I do know about 75% of it so I try. The warning is that I might possibly spoil season 2 stuff. No idea where they're going to go with it but I think they will try to slowly expand the universe. Like there's a lot of references to stuff and even characters in the first season of Arcane so I wouldn't doubt they'd keep that going. So I am doing the same. So if you want to go completely into season 2 blind whenever that comes out I understand.
Everyone be safe. Take care of yourself and your loved ones. Wear masks. I know they're fucking annoying and its hard and its so tempting to not but pandemic's not over. We need to keep this up for ourselves, for our loved ones and those who can't get the vaccine like so many of us have. Get the vaccination if you can. Like for real it's just basic science. Push for the vaccine worldwide cuz not a lot of people have it and we're all in this together. Have a great week and I'll see you soon! E is out!
Alrighty here is the usual spiel.
If you want to read this in a way more friendly user format and where I will once in a while clean up and fix grammar and typos you can find the story here!

Summary: Caitlyn and Vi are seeking assistance from Jayce in their quest to find Jinx and help Piltover. Vi, however, is starting to realize that actions have consequences and soon they might just bite her in the ass. It'll be fine though. It's not like she stole from Jayce on her one woman rage filled revenge tour.
-----
“VI? Are you alright? Why have you stopped?”
Vi did in fact stopped halfway towards their destination upon realizing where exactly she was heading.
A shiver ran down her spine as she realized the consequences of her reckless desperation were beginning to form. She had been so caught up in trying to save her sister she didn’t realize the price when the bill came due.
And it looks like fate fucking plopped it down right in front of her.
Caitlyn doubled back, a hurried scraping of those impossibly impractical heels Piltover made their female enforcers wear thundered in Vi’s ears.
Normally Vi would’ve just lied about her feelings, an old habit in the Lanes was to never admit weakness or fear: Home was home but only a child or a fool would believe they were free of danger and she hadn’t been a child for a long time.
Apparently she was still playing the fool though.
But as Caitlyn made her way back, her hair swaying back and forth in a rather hypnotic way, Vi realized no one had told her about the backroom deal she’d made with Jayce: The raid on a Shimmer factory, the way they’d taken down Chemtanks practically by themselves, their disagreement about the price of war. Sweet Cupcake hadn’t heard about any of it yet and Vi really did not want to be the one to tell her about that backfire.
Oh lord she actually gave a shit about an enforcer’s opinion? Well ex-enforcer. Wait, what’s going on?
“I was hoping you could tell me.”
Vi snapped out of her stupor and felt her heart skip a beat when she realized Caitlyn was staring at her expectantly. Also that she said that last part outloud.
“Umm…..” Vi smartly replied “What? I got something on my face Cupcake?”
Caitlyn gave her the most deadpanned stare she could muster “No but you haven’t moved an inch. We need to see Jayce if we are to have any hope of getting back onto the force. Did you forget or did a pretty girl distract you again?”
“You have no idea”
“Wait was that?”
“Nothing.” Vi mumbled hurriedly “Hey, have you...talked to pretty boy lately?”
Caitlyn’s narrowed her gaze suspiciously “I’m afraid not. Ever since the attack he’s locked himself in his forge. Refuses to see anyone. Is there something I should know?”
“Nothing involves that us.” Vi offered helpfully.
Caitlyn did not like that answer but decided to drop the subject.
For now.
“Remember.” Caitlyn’s tone took a serious edge as the pair resumed their walk “I know he can be abrasive and stubborn but he is a council member. We need to play nice.”
Vi scoffed, rolling her eyes at that last comment “You mean me. I have to play nice.”
“We” Caitlyn repeated firmly “No doubt my antics at Stillwater prison have reached his desk.”
“You consider impersonation of an enforcer, forgery, fraud and unlawful removal of an inmate under false pretenses just antics?” Vi whistled appreciatively “I thought you topside girls were all prim and proper.”
Vi winced as Caitlyn nudged her side, a barely suppressed smile dancing her lips “I am prim but I was never proper. Besides it was for a good cause.”
“Right. Good cause.”
“Would you have rather I left you in Stillwater?”
“Hey you don’t have to make this personal.”
Vi’s heart skipped another beat when Caitlyn grinned brightly “That’s what I thought.”
Maybe this won’t be so bad.
-----
Vi was perfectly fine outside but as the soulless, bright blinding shades of Piltover gave way to darker, more industrial iron walls and pipes, a sense of dread began to overtake the pink haired girl. Guilt gnawed at her as she remembered how she baited Jayce, how she knew exactly what buttons to push to get her hands on the gauntlets. Last time she was here she was fueled by rage and hatred.
Now? Now she was humbled.
Hopefully Pretty Boy would forget to mention their last interaction. Or the fact she stole the gauntlets. Wait, he didn’t know she wrecked them right?
It’ll be fine.
Probably.
Last time Jayce’s door had been left opened so Vi strolled in without issue.
This time, however, it seems he wanted to be left alone: The entrance was less a single door and more of a massive slab of metal designed to withstand a frontal assault for days. Vi didn’t see a way in but Caitlyn evidently had been here enough times to know the ins and outs. She pressed something on the wall and an unseen intercom crackled to life.
“I told you I don’t want to be disturbed.” Jayce’s voice spoke, hollowed and dejected.
“Jayce, it’s me. Cait.”
Silence hung in the air.
Caitlyn pressed the button again, her voice softening “Jayce. I wasn’t there for you at your weakest all those years ago when you lost everything. Let me be here now. You are not alone.”
No response came from the inventor. Instead what answered were a series of clicks all moving rhythmically in time. The slab gave a metallic groan as inch by inch it slid out of the way, the air turning stuffy and stale from the raging forge.
“So…” Vi coughed awkwardly, pangs of jealousy and envy poking and prodding at her “You and Pretty Boy.”
Vi nearly let out a sigh of relief when Caitlyn made a face, her voice full of disgust at the mere idea “Oh god no! Never in a million years. He’s more of an older sibling. An annoying, vain sibling but family all the same.”
Vi struggled to keep her voice casual “Oh. Good to know.”
“Why do you ask? I doubt you’re curious about my personal life.”
“Are you saying I’m dumb?”
Caitlyn was confused “What? Why would I...of course you’re not dumb.”
“Thanks Cupcake I really needed to hear that.”
“Are you serious right now?” Caitlyn made a face Vi thought was adorable “Okay whatever. Let’s get a move on before he decides to lock us out.”
Grinning ear to ear Vi happily trailed after Caitlyn. What was she even worried about anyway?
----
Oh. Right.
“Excuse me?” Caitlyn asked, unsure if she heard Jayce correctly.
“Her. Out. I don’t want her in here ever again.”
For someone her sister tried to murder, Jayce looked more or less intact: All that remained of his injuries was a small bandage on his cheek.
Mentally, on the other hand, he was falling apart: His clothing was rumpled and stained like he hadn’t changed out of them in days. His normally immaculate hair was messy and unkempt with stubble already forming on his usually clean shaven face.
“I don’t follow.” Caitlyn was confused “I know she was rather forceful at the meeting but I can assure you she means well. And what do you mean again?”
Jayce stared directly at Vi, a mixture of bitterness and rage in his gaze. Vi glared back, her fits clenched tightly as she refused to let him shame her into submission.
Old Lanes habit to never back down from a fight, any fight regardless if it was your fault or not.
Or maybe it was just her.
Jayce made a disbelieving scoff “Means well? And did she happen to mention the last time she meant well? Because let me tell you it did not end well. For anyone.”
Caitlyn glanced back and forth between the inventor and Vi “Last time?”
Vi’s throat dried up. She focused on the wall in front of her, refusing to give any sign of weakness or guilt.
Jayce remained silent as well, opting to instead to return to whatever project he happened to be working before the pair dropped in for a visit.
“Wait a moment. What did you both do?”
Nothing ever quite unites two opposing forces like being accused of something by a third party they cared about. The cold distance between Vi and Jayce melted at the sound of Caitlyn’s accusatory yet disappointed tone.
“Wait a minute” Jayce began.
“What are you a cop? We didn’t do anything.” Vi started with.
Caitlyn studied them both carefully, her piercing blue eyes taking in every little and last detail. Vi could literally see the gears in her brain turning, faster and faster as thoughts began to form and connect.
“Oh my god.” realization hit Caitlyn “You didn’t!”
Vi gave a cheeky grin “Exactly we didn’t! Tell her pretty boy.”
“Of course not. Who do you think we are?” Jayce tried to wave her off.
Caitlyn tapped her foot impatiently, not fooled in the least “What was it? Shimmer dealers or the Chembarons directly?”
Vi and Jayce spared a look at one another which devolved into a silent argument about how much to reveal to the detective.
Finally Vi spoke, tilting her hand back and forth nonchalantly “Little of column A, little of column B.”
“A Shimmer factory.” Jayce explained quickly “We led a strike force in hope of seriously hampering their production. We succeeded….but not without cost.”
The cost thankfully remained unsaid. Jayce was still losing sleep over that one.
Caitlyn rubbed her eyes tiredly “I am never leaving you two alone together ever again. What were you thinking?”
“We weren’t” Vi admitted with a hushed, soft voice “I was angry at the council. Jayce was feeling helpless at the bullshit bureaucracy. We thought if we showed them we could take the fight straight to Silco they would be more willing to go after him. Right Pretty Boy?”
It was strange to see this no nonsense tough girl practically begging, pleading with wide eyes not to reveal that she was the sole mastermind behind the attack on the factory. A moment ago Jayce wanted nothing to do with her and now he couldn’t help but feel sorry for her. It wasn’t all her fault after all. He was itching to go after Zaun as much as she had been. Vi wasn’t the match, she was the excuse.
Jayce nodded in agreement “That’s right. It was both our idea to go after Silco’s factory. It was reckless and stupid and childish but there seems to be a lot of that going around lately.”
“It was extremely reckless. And rude. You didn’t invite me.” Caitlyn chided with a smirk.
A huge weight had been lifted from Vi at the sight of Caitlyn’s grin. For whatever reason the pink haired girl really needed to stay on Cupcake’s good side. It was very important. For alliance purposes.
Jayce chuckled gently “Right of course. I should’ve remembered to bring the ex-enforcer on our unsanctioned raid. My bad.”
“I mean she is a goody two shoes. I doubt she would’ve had fun.” Vi teased with a smirk.
Caitlyn opened her mouth to reply but Jayce answered first “She was never a goody two shoes. You should’ve seen how many girls she used to sneak into her…”
“JAYCE!” Caitlyn practically shrieked, her cheeks blazing “NOT ANOTHER WORD!”
“Other girls? And I thought I was the first Cupcake. I’m kinda offended.”
Caitlyn narrowed her eyes threateningly “Don’t. You are not to start.”
Vi zipped her lips, raising one hand and placing the other over her heart.
Jayce smiled for the first time since they arrived but it quickly vanished with a heavy sigh “I’m glad for the visit but why are you two here? I know you have a reason.”
“I am sorry for this but we need your help.” Caitlyn answered honestly.
“My help? I’m not exactly sure what I can do to help.”
“We need to get back onto the enforcers and…”
Vi stopped paying attention at this point. This was Cait’s plan so she could talk shop. Besides her and Jayce weren’t on the best of terms and while he covered for her mistake, she didn’t want to push her luck any further. Like they said in the Lanes: Fortune’s cruel with a wicked sense of humor.
She began to wander the forge, eyeing the various tools and blueprints with a half-hearted interest. She never understood this kind of stuff like Ekko and her sister did. Her strength laid with punching something and if that didn’t work, punch it harder. This was more to pass time than anything else.
At least it was until she noticed a strange looking half finished project on a table tucked away in the furthest corner.
It was clear this particular project hadn’t been worked on for a while given the fine layer of dust that blanketed the table. Loose wires and bolts were littered everywhere with most of the space taken up by a massive emptied out dome. Hidden behind a sheet on the floor Vi could see thick mechanical fingers peeking underneath. She picked up some kind of orb with two hollowed out holes where a pair of eyes would be. Its shape reminded of her a human skull but more friendly in a way. She noticed the faded plans pinned to the wall above project. She leaned closer, trying to read the washed-out font on the paper
“Blitzcrank. What kind of name is that for a murder machine?”
“It’s not a murder machine.”
She nearly jumped out of her skin as Jayce took the orb from her without warning and carefully placed it with the rest of the parts.
“Well you can’t really blame me.” Vi replied defensively “Piltover’s kinda got a history of murder and death you know?”
She had been expecting a witty retort out of him, maybe some sort of quick subject change but instead Vi had gotten a “You’re right” response.
“You should say it more often. I kinda like seeing her so utterly disarmed.” Caitlyn grinned playfully.
“Oh shut up.” Vi’s cheeks reddened as she quickly asked “What’s with the bot anyway?”
Jayce chuckled to himself, his gaze distant like he was caught up in a fond memory “Viktor’s pet project. I know you don’t believe it but Hextech was created to help people, both ours and yours.”
Vi scoffed but more out of habit than anything malicious.
Jayce ignored her, lovingly patting the head of Blitzcrank “He was designed to clean up the chemical waste of Zaun. Viktor didn’t want anyone to suffer like he did. We gave up because we couldn’t find a stable power source.”
He grinned brightly for a moment “I was actually thinking to running Blitz by Viktor again. The Hextech Gemstone would’ve been the perfect answer to our problem.”
Something in the inventor broke: His face sagged into grief, tears forming in his eyes. He remained silent in his sorrow but it was clearly immense. It took him a few seconds to compose himself but neither Vi or Cait interrupted.
“Viktor, his partner.” Caitlyn’s voice dropped to a whisper “He isn’t doing well and is undergoing an emergency prosthesis surgery.”
“Vitkor was against it originally.” Jayce spoke, his voice horse “When he first came to Piltover. The University offered to replace his legs with prosthetics but Viktor’s never liked charity. Besides the odds of a successful surgery are so low it wasn’t worth the risk.”
He gave a grim laugh “Of course now the surgery is his best chance. What kind of sick joke is that?”
“I’m sorry. For you friend.” Vi offered with as much sincerity as she could muster.
Jayce said nothing but gave a short nod in response. He took a deep breath and wiped the tears out of his eyes.
“I’m afraid I can’t help you. As I told Cait I am….no longer a council member. I quit the day of the attack.”
Caitlyn quickly jumped in “I was brainstorming with him about possible ideas but without a backing council member and with my mother in recovery there isn’t much we can do now.”
“Sure we can. Pretty Boy can back us up.”
Jayce grimaced, a bit of irritation slipping into his words “Like I just said I quit the day of the attack.”
“Did you fill out the paperwork?” Vi asked smugly “Did you vote for it? Was it unanimous?”
Jayce and Caitlyn looked at one another as they realized what Vi was getting at.
Vi stood with a cocky swagger only she could muster “Because what I know about you Pilties is that you love doing things by the books. To a fucking fault. Paperwork, official announcements. All that annoying shit. So Pretty boy, did you all vote on it?”
“No.” Jayce ran his hand through his hair “We hadn’t had much time before the attack. And I never official resigned on paper.”
“So you are still a member!” Caitlyn bounced with excitement “Is there anyone else on the council available?”
“Mel.” Jayce muttered. Vi caught something in his voice but couldn’t place it.
“Medrada?”
Jayce nodded in confirmation “She was wearing something that warned her about the blast. Protected her too. We’re the only two still standing.”
“We need to move. With Silco gone every two bit thug and goon will be fighting each other for control of his empire. If we’re fast enough we can take down the Chembarons once and for all,” Vi could feel something grow inside. Purpose blazing with a white hot fury. She couldn’t go back to the Lanes but she would avenge them.
Vander, Clagger, Mylo. Powder and Ekko. She wouldn’t let them down this time.
“We’re not much better.” Caitlyn stepped forward carefully “Even with Marcus dead we still have no idea who was in Silco’s pocket and I doubt the new sheriff would let two new recruits have their pick of cases. Assuming we get on the force at all.”
“So it’s a race to see who gets their shit together first. This is starting to sound like a great plan Cupcake.”
“Well I’m open to suggestions!”
“I got one. A council led special division force called Wardens. Handpicked by Mel and myself. I can’t promise you two will have your pick of cases but it’s gonna be easier to deal with them than enforcers.” Jayce ran his hand through his hair thoughtfully “I take it you’re going to need new gauntlets huh Pinkie?”
Vi glared “Vi to you Pretty Boy and what makes you say that?”
Jayce said nothing. Instead he gestured what he had been working on when they first came in. Vi shifted guiltily at the sight of the nearly destroyed Atlas gauntlets she had stolen in her fit of rage.
“Those could be anyone’s.”
“They’re a one of a kind prototype.” Jayce couldn’t keep the jab out of his voice.
“I’m not speaking to you without my lawyer. Cupcake you’re my lawyer now. Tell him I’m not talking anymore.”
Caitlyn began to giggle when Jayce shifted his attention to her.
“Speaking of Cait. Where’s your rifle? I want to calibrate the scope and fiddled around with the firing mechanism.”
There was a tense awkwardness as Caitlyn began to dig her heel into the floor.
“Cait….where is your Hextech rifle?”
“I-I’m sorry I don’t follow.”
Jayce took a step closer “Your one of a kind rifle I built specifically for you. That one Cait.”
It was pretty cute how Cupcake twiddled her fingers nervously.
“I sold it...for Shimmer.”
It was impossible to tell whose yell was louder: Jayce’s or Vi’s.
“You’re doing Shimmer now Cait?”
“You weren’t kidding when you said you weren’t proper huh Cupcake?”
Caitlyn cutely stomped her foot “Shut it! I did not take Shimmer. I used it to save you Vi.”
Vi paused for a moment, trying to recall what she was talking about.
“Wait.” realization hit her like a ton of bricks “When I was stabbed?! That Shimmer? You traded your gun. For me?
Caitlyn’s were a slight shade of pink but Vi was too caught up in the fact that she gave up her only defense in an unfamiliar and dangerous environment for her.
“Caitlyn…” Vi whispered softly but before either girl could respond, Jayce let out a frustrated groan.
He tugged at his hair “You’re going to want another one huh Cait?”
“Please and thank you.” and for added measure Caitlyn gave as wide of a smile as she could.
Jayce rolled his eyes in annoyance as he fished out the blueprints for Caitlyn’s new rifle.
Vi and Caitlyn stood next to each other, unsure what to say.
Vi piped up after a moment “Thank you. For saving my life.”
“It was nothing.” Caitlyn wiped nonexistent dirt off her skirt.
“….So about Piltover’s Finest….”
“No.”

Paring: Sirius Black X Fem!Potter!Reader, James Potter X Fem!Twin!Reader
Summary: James goes through a lot during his time at Hogwarts but his sister is always by his side.
Inspiration: Click
A/N: If this comes off insensitive to anyone please let me know and I will remove this.
James Potter was a handful. From the minute he was born, he had this gleam in his hazel eyes that raged and burned with trouble. His twin, Y/n Potter, was almost the opposite. The soft smile that laid on her features and the glitter of calamity in her eyes. Euphemia and Fleamont were in for a lot the minute their twins were born.
Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder is most comparative to having a web browser up with one too many tabs. James had always been unable to focus and was naturally messy. Truth be told, he thought it was normal, just as everyone else did. It wasn’t until his second year at Hogwarts did he realize something was genuinely wrong with him.
Remus told him that he had this muggle thing called “dyslexia,” which was a difficulty in interpreting words, letters, and other symbols. However, it never affected his overall intelligence because everyone knew that Remus Lupin was indeed and wholly brilliant. It got James wondering, did his inability to focus, be organized, and hyperactivity have a deeper meaning?
His twin - Y/n - was quite the opposite. She made quick friends with Remus, Sirius, and Peter, who were close friends of her twin. Y/n was top of their class, creating a friendly competition with Remus, but she was always able to focus. Often she would hyper-focus, which would leave her working for over five hours at a time without realizing it. In those times, James would have to snap her out of it.
Over the summer, James expressed his concerns to his parents. He was talking about how this could be a real issue he’s facing using Remus’ dyslexia as an example. Eventually, they gave in, letting James go to a muggle doctor. James had to fill out a questionnaire that would come back with his results in one week. That week was probably the longest week of his life. Nonetheless, his test results had come back positive.
Fleamont and Euphemia would be lying if they were surprised. After hearing about the disorder, it was almost the definition of their eldest son. Fortunately for James, the muggles had come up with a cure - no, not a cure - dammit, what was it again?
Impede the symptoms! That’s what those muggle pills do. James was required to take two pills a day, one in the morning and once at night. Y/n was in charge of making sure he did so because - more times than he’d like to admit - he would forget everything if it wasn’t for Y/n.
In third year, James was as energetic as ever while getting on the Hogwarts Express, “Aren’t you excited, Y/n?!”
She chuckled, “Yes, but Merlin, you don’t need to literally jump with joy.”
“But I’m excited!”
“I know that.”
They made their way to the compartment that held Remus, who was reading a book. James sat in front of him while Y/n took her seat beside Remus, “‘Ello Remus.”
“Hey, Potter pair.”
Y/n sighed, and James groaned, “That nickname needs to go away.”
“I quite like it.” Remus stated smugly, “Suits you both.”
“What’s that suppose to mean?” Y/n accused falsely, “It means that wherever one of you are, the other isn’t that far behind.” Remus replied.
James had zoned out already, and Y/n snapped in his face, “Take your pills?”
“Forgot.” James muttered guiltily, “Oh Godric.” She whispered.
“Pills?”
“James went to a muggle doctor this summer.”
Remus quirked an eyebrow, “Did you now?”
“Got diagnosed with ADHD.” James informed, and Remus looked amiss, “Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder.”
“Ah, I’ve heard of that.” Remus said, and James smiled sheepishly, “I feel kinda odd, like out of place.”
“Why?”
“Dunno, just, why can't I be normal?”
“You are normal, James.” Y/n reassured, “And anyone who says differently obviously doesn’t care about you.”
The compartment door slammed open, “Who doesn’t care about who?”
Remus snorted, “Ever the dramatics, huh, mate?”
“‘Course.” Sirius flopped down beside James, “It comes with my charm and devilishly good looks.”
“Ah, yes.” Y/n said, chuckling, “Don’t you see how I’m swooning for you?”
The back of her palm was against her forehead, “Come off it.” James swatted at her and then elbowed Sirius, “Better not make my sister swoon.”
Sirius chuckled and shrugged, “Can’t help it. I’m just that irresistible.”
The four of them laughed at Sirius’ dramatics and continued talking about the new term. Remus and Y/n were talking about books they couldn’t wait to read. Remus was even kind enough to gift her some muggle books he bought over the summer holiday. Sirius and James bickered about what pranks to do this year, along with which ones were better.
Third-year was fun. It was a year of flooding corridors, turning Slytherin robes red and blasting music in the common room after a Gryffindor victory. James was a brilliant Quidditch Chaser, and Y/n was a fantastic Seeker. Nothing was quite like the Potter pair. Something about them was just unforgettable.
Maybe that’s why Sirius was so fond of her. Something about the Potters made people around them smile on the hardest of days. They made sure that every moment was a night to remember. Every memory was worth reliving. So adventurous, so reckless, yet so kind and loving.
By the time fifth year rolled around, Sirius Orion Black had fallen off a cliff into a lake called love. Sirius completely submerged himself in love for Y/n Potter. The younger twin by just 20 minutes, but something about her was so divine. Was it her silk and glittering h/c hair? No - maybe it was her gleaming e/c eyes. Perhaps it was for her strive for adventure and extreme kindness.
Nonetheless, Sirius fell hard.
And who better to tell than James Potter himself?
Causally - as usual - Sirius opened the door to the Marauders dorm. It was empty aside from the brunet boy with glasses on the bridge of his nose. His hazel eyes were focused on a textbook - Potions textbook - maybe it was to impress Lily. Sirius couldn’t care less, so he pulled the chair out in front of the desk and sat before James.
“Mate, I need your help.”
“Running from Filch?”
“No. Something- Something worse.”
“Something worse?” The textbook shut loudly.
Sirius nodded, “Way worse.”
“Alright then, come into my office.” James teased, and Sirius grinned.
It was silent, “I’m in love with your sister.”
James sputtered, “Excuse me?”
“I’m in love with Y/n.”
“No, no.” James waved his hand horizontally, “I heard you.”
“Then what else would you like me to say?” Sirius asked.
“Literally anything else.”
“Sorry, mate.” Sirius muttered, “I- I really didn’t mean to.”
James chuckled and wiped his hand across his face, “I suppose you can’t really stop love, huh?”
“You really can’t.” Sirius agreed, “I tried. I promise I tried.”
“It’s not that big of a deal late.” James assured, and Sirius looked at him with wide eyes, “I trust you just-“
“Just?”
“I’m worried about her.” James completed, “I- I worry about her every night.”
Sirius softened, “It’s like you with Regulus-“ James continued before Sirius could interject, “And don’t pretend. Your silencing charms are bloody terrible.”
“I know you still care for Regulus, you worry about him every night, and I do the same for Y/n, except my silencing charms are better.” James teased sightly, “I trust you, Sirius. You’re the brother I never got but always wanted. You know, the brother I can play Quidditch with, rough around with, the brother who’s just as sneaky and mischievous as I.”
“But Y/n is still my blood. She's my twin, my best friend, my partner in crime. She was the mind behind my pranks before Remus.” James elaborated and then smirked, “Remus and Y/n make a great team, ya’ know?”
“They are quite brilliant.”
“Anyway, what I’m trying to say is, take care of her?” James looked like the eleven-year-old boy again, “Don’t make her a fling and don’t make this temporary.”
“Y/n is a strong woman, and she isn’t for weak men. I’ll be honest,” James chuckled, “She doesn’t need a man. She doesn’t even really need me. I need her more than she needs me. Regardless, take care of her. She deserves a man worthy of her. Someone that’ll get her ice cream at 4 a.m. because she’s craving it. Someone that’ll go on sporadic trips with her. Someone that’ll understand that after a hard day, all she wants is a book and coffee.”
Sirius was appalled; he’d never seen James look so passionate, “Growing up, mum always told me to be a gentleman. I know it may not seem like it sometimes, but she always raised me as one. To hold a door for them, push and push in their chairs for them, give them my jacket even if I’ll freeze.”
“Those kinda things. Dad said I should practice on Y/n, and I did. From then, Y/n always got treated like a queen, and she deserves no less. I won't lie, my parents treat me like a king too, and I don’t want any less either.” James explained, “Be the king that’s worthy of my sister.”
“That’s all I ask of you.”
Sirius nodded, “I’d be honored to serve her as my queen.”
“And if you show her no less, she’ll spit you out like chewing gum.”
He shuttered, “I hate how accurate that phrase is.”
James laughed, “I know her more than you think.”
By sixth year they were dating. Sirius would be lying if he wasn’t eternally shitting himself when Y/n said yes to going to Hogsmeade with him, alone, as a date. In fact, James almost wanted to throw him a party for finally not being a little bitch and asking out his sister. This party consisted of a bottle of firewhiskey and chocolate because that’s all that was in the boy's dormitory. But a party nonetheless.
When Lily rejected James for the last time before graduation, he was utterly heartbroken. He’d spent and dedicated seven years of his life to this gorgeous woman. Despite all his efforts and all his charms, she still wasn’t interested. James tried. He really tried. He wanted Lily so bad. His heart broke when she said her final words of goodbye.
“I’m sorry, Potter. Maybe in another life, just not this one.”
Tears had ebbed at the corner of his eyes as he made his way back into the castle from the Black Lake. In the common room, where he felt like he had just got dowsed in water. James made his way to the girl's dormitory. His hand curled into a fist and knocked lightly on the wooden door. Shuffling was heard from the other side, and the door finally opened, revealing his sister.
Without warning, James crashed into her arms, forcing his nose in the crook of her neck, “Woah.”
“Are you okay, James?”
His body shook with sobs as he shook his head no, “It’s okay. Let’s go lay down, okay?”
Gently she led him to her bed. He curled up beneath the navy blue comforter and placed his head on the silk pillow sheets. If he tried hard enough, he could forget the way Lily’s hair smelt today or the way her green eyes glistened in the sun. Now engulfed in his sister's scent, trying to remove every feeling for Lily possible, he dug his nose deeper into the comforter.
Y/n sat beside him, her back to the headboard, and ran her fingers through James’ already untied hair, “What's got you so worked up?”
“It’s done.”
“What’s done?”
“L- Lily and I.” James choked, “She- She really doesn’t want me.”
A new wave of tears overcame him, and Y/n continued to try and soothe him, “Well, she’s a tosser.”
James narrowed his eyes, “James, you know I love her. She's my best friend, but if she can’t see what’s right in front of her, then she’s an idiot.”
“Can I- Can I stay here tonight?” He asked hesitantly.
“You sure you don’t want me to stay at your dorm?” Y/n questioned, “Because you know who sleeps here.”
“Will you stay with me?”
“Till the end.”
After a couple of minutes, Y/n and James made their way down the steps to the boy's side. They walked up more steps and finally made it to the boy's dormitory. James collapsed on his bed in the left corner of the room, and Sirius perked up at seeing his girlfriend enter the room.
“Whatcha doin’ here, love?”
“Staying with my brother.”
Sirius nodded and stood up to hug her, gently pecking her forehead, “If you guys need anything, let me know, ‘kay?”
“Thanks, Siri.”
Gently Y/n pulled back the maroon curtain and sat down beside him again. James reached for her hand and intertwined their fingers. Something they used to do as kids. When a thunderstorm would go by, James would always seek sanctuary in his sister's comfort.
He fell asleep that night, knowing he was safe, loved, and knew that someone cared about him. Even if Lily didn’t love him, at least someone else did. He had his boys, and he had his sister. Right now, that’s all he needed beside him: Screw Lily and her idiot decision skills. Y/n was right; she was a complete tosser.
When Hogwarts was over, James and Y/n got a flat together. Sirius, Remus, and Peter got one only a floor above. Realistically this wasn’t the plan. James always planned to buy a house with Lily, but he was still healing, and after everything going on, it was vital for him to hold his sister close to him.
Euphemia and Fleamont barely lived to see their children graduate. Not too long afterward had died due to the horrid dragon pocks. It devastated both twins and Sirius. While Sirius wasn’t their true child, he very well could’ve. Euphemia noticed Sirius’s lingering stares on Y/n and the loopy smile that graced his features.
She was the one who got Sirius to man up. She was the one who gave him advice. She was the one who told him what books were her favorite, which chocolate she liked the best, her favorite quills. Euphemia was one of the main components in getting Sirius to date her daughter, and when it finally happened, the parents couldn’t have been happier.
James’ ADHD still remained even in his adulthood, making regular everyday tasks much harder and twice as long. Most of the time, the pills were able to help him complete those tasks. But sometimes, when Y/n wasn’t there to remind him, he would miss his days. When Y/n got home from work, she had barely taken off her shoes to see the apartment spotless.
It was a pleasant surprise, but James was never really one to clean, not that she really minded, but the apartment didn’t have a speck of dust on it. Hesitantly she put her keys on the island along with her bag.
“James!”
“Yes, Y/n?”
He appeared in the kitchen where Y/n was, “Um, did you clean the apartment?”
“Yes, I did!” James nodded enthusiastically.
Y/n sighed and gave her brother a sweet smile, “What did you not do today?”
“So, you know how you told me to go to the pharmacy?”
“Mhm.” Y/n nodded, “Indeed I do.”
“Well, they were out of my meds.” James informed, “I have to wait a week.”
“Oh, Merlin.”
“On the bright side!” James was already causing her a headache, “It’s gonna be a fantastic week! I’ve got so many things planned for us! We’re gonna go-“
James continued to ramble as Y/n grabbed her keys, bag and slipped back on her shoes, “I’m going to Sirius’!”
“Thought you were my sister.” James faked pouting, and Y/n smiled, “I love you, but you’re crazy.”
“I love you too!” He yelled as she closed the door.

warning : fluff, swearing, slight angst, vinnie being a simp, yelling.
summary : he gets offered to join a gaming organization, but someone isn't very thrilled about it.
matt = nadeshot
jack = couragejd
rae = valkyrae
this story will be vinnie's pov for most of it
Tumblr media
" 'ello chat." i greet. "today's stream will be a little bit different." i sigh leaning back in my chair, my knee bouncing up and down anxiously as i wait for people to join.
i see the chat immediately start moving very fast. my eyes finding it hard to read a single comment.
no valorant today?
"maybe, probably towards the end of the stream but i doubt it, it depends." i try to talk as calmly as possible but it's difficult when i have to say something this big.
why you shaking?
"i'm not." i lie, i'm shitting bricks right now. i have no idea how my supporters are going to react to the news i'm about to tell them. i move my chair forward and my knee stops bouncing.
is that a hickey vincent?
after reading that comment, i look at my second monitor that is showing what my camera is showing the stream. i look under my jaw and see a hickey that no one other than y/n left. we are together but aren't public. i want to be though, but she refuses for a good reason. i choose to ignore the comment to avoid a scandal that can possibly happen.
once i see that enough people are watching, i start talking. "alright so as you all know, i've been a part of the hype house for a little over a year."
"and i've recently been offered something huge. something that'll help me grow as an influencer.. and streamer." i add a small emphasis on 'streamer' to tease. after i say that, people are already making assumptions and guesses.
you got offered a twitch contract!???
leaving hype?
quitting social media :(
"no i'm not quitting social media." i chuckle. i've thought about it before, but i know for a fact that i will never quit any time soon. my fans can be crazy, but i still love them.
"i hope you guys are happy with what i'm going to tell you. and if you're not, then.." i look at the camera and stick my tongue out like a child.
"my announcement is.. drum roll please." i start smacking my desk to mimic a drum roll sound.
"i'm not gonna be a part of hype house anymore." i awkwardly smile. i said it- fuck. my mind is all over the place. being a part of the hype house has been an amazing experience.
there were many ups and downs, i made a lot of new friends. i grew as an influencer, i've developed an amazing fandom. i met y/n and so much more amazing stuff that i got to experience. but life goes on and it's my turn to do so.
what the-
why tho?
f-ing finally
"i know there's a lot of questions to be answered. i will answer them but that's what i'm going to tell you guys for now." i haven't made an official decision, however i already made a mental choice.
"anyways, what should we do today? i'm down for anything."
VALO
VALORANT
valorant
"valorant it is." i pull up the game.
· · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
"baby you'll do great." y/n reassures me for the what seems like the millionth time today. "what if they change their mind last minute." i mumble.
a few days ago, nadeshot; owner of 100 Thieves. offered me to join his gaming organization. to be excited would be an understatement. i am freaking out internally. i can finally do the thing i enjoy the most which is stream and not be a huge part of the drama tiktok gives me.
i have a meeting with nadeshot, couragejd, and valkyrae today to talk about terms and conditions of joining. i'm fucking shaking.
"they won't. you're friends with matt right?" i nod. "then you'll be fine. he wouldn't offer you a spot if he didn't want you to join." she pecks my lips gently easing my nerves.
"thank you." i tell her and she smiles. she lets go of my face and i look in the mirror, re-checking my outfit. "how do i look? honest opinion please."
"you look great vin. but shouldn't you wear something fancier?" she asks looking at my black jeans, white shirt and black leather jacket.
"matt said he doesn't really like fancy. so i went with something more casual." i tell her and she nods.
" 'kay you have to go now." i look at the clock and see that it's time for me to go. i nod and place a kiss on her lips. "good luck my love." she wraps her arms around my neck to hug me.
"don't call me that." i groan feeling my cheeks heat up at the name she called me. i hug her waist hearing her angelic like giggle. "are you blushinggg?" she teases.
"yeah yeah whatever." i let go of her and peck her lips one last time. "wish me luck." i walk out. "good luck!" i hear her yell.
i make my way downstairs and see thomas sitting at the table eating cereal. i grab my keys that are hanging and start walking towards the door. thomas isn't really happy with me leaving. i don't know why, but this is good for me so i don't care. he's not going to stop my career from growing.
· · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
i park my car at the parking lot outside the 100 Thieves compound. "you got this vinnie. don't be stupid. just breathe and you'll be fine."
once i turn off my car, i step out and walk towards the main door. i already texted matt that i'm here so he's probably waiting at the door. once i make my way there, i ring the doorbell. my palms are sweating, i've never been this nervous except for the time when i asked out y/n.
breathe vincent breathe!
the door opens and i'm greeted by jack. "hey vinnie, come in come in." i step inside and shake his hand, you know... to be formal.
"thank you."
"you scared?" he asks me. i nod immediately. nothing beats the fear of being in the same room with three owners of one of the biggest gaming organizations in the world.
"very nervous."
"don't be. we don't bite so you have nothing to worry about." i nod at his assurance. his words slightly easing my nerves. i've already met matt and jack so that kind of gets me more comfortable but i've never met valkyrae.
"let's go." he starts walking to i believe is the room where the meeting will take place. i'm standing next to him but make sure he's still in front of me.
"what games do you play?" i ask him. trying to start a conversation.
"well i played a variety of games. i played warzone, call of duty, apex, and now i mostly playing fortnite." i nod.
"that sounds cool. i mainly play valorant."
"just valo?" i nod. "i sometimes play other games but not usually."
he stops walking once he sees a big black door. "you ready?" i nod.
he opens the door and i gulp. i see nadeshot and a woman sitting next to each other behind a long desk. a big "100 Thieves" painting hanging on the wall. a smaller "CashApp" logo hanging on the opposite side of the 100 Thieves painting.
"vinnie! welcome." matt greets. he stands up and reaches to shake my hand from across the table. once we let go, jack goes around the table and sits down on matt's right side.
"im happy to be here." i smile. trying to be as calm as possible. a small woman who i believe is valkyrae stands up and sticks her hand out for me to shake.
"hi, nice to meet you. my name is rachell." she greets as we shake hands. "nice to meet your rachell, im vinnie." god why am i so awkward.
"just call me rae." she smiles. i nod and i take a seat when i see all three of them sit down aswell.
"so vinnie, you already know why you're here." matt speaks. i nod in response, "yes i do."
"have you made your decision?" he asks. "i have made my decision." i take a deep breath. "i accept your offer to join 100 Thieves." i say in the most formal and calm tone possible.
i watch as all three of them smile. "let's go dude!" jack excitedly says. "rae can you.." they look at each other and she looks lost for a few seconds before making a face like she remembered. "oh yeah." she reaches down the table and grabs a clipboard with some papers.
"so this is not like hype house. this is a contract to stay here at 100 Thieves." she starts. "you don't have a limit for how long you have to stay, you are free to leave or stay for as long as you'd like." i nod.
"the only thing we ask from you is to have consistent streams, maybe daily, maybe every other day. that's up to you."
"it'll be easier for you to make a little schedule for what time you'll stream. i like to post my schedules on twitter so my supporters can know when i'm gonna stream and what i'm going to play." rae tells me and i nod.
"what do you want to get out of this experience?" matt asks me. i think for a few seconds before answering.
"i want to just have fun. i enjoyed being at hype but i never felt like i was putting enough for the content since the only type of content i could do was stream while everyone else was making youtube videos and tiktoks." i answer with full honesty. i don't want to be known as the guy that makes thirsts traps for teenagers on tiktok, i want to be more than that.
i always felt like the odd one out when it came to literally anything at hype. michael calling me out on it basically calling me lazy didn't help at all. when you look at group pictures, i look different amongst the others. not necessarily a bad thing, but you get it.
"well lucky for you, we have so many people in 100 thieves that you won't feel left out. we have people that play and do literally anything." he explains.
"i'm also hoping to expand the games i play, i love valorant but it'll be a nice change of pace if i start playing new games."
"that's a nice mindset." rae smiles. "here's a pen and sign right here. once you sign this paper, you will officially be a part of 100 Thieves." she hands me a black pen and points to a blank space on the paper.
i take a deep breath. i can't contain my smile as i grab the pen and immediately write my signature.
"welcome to-." matt gets cut off.
"alright i can't do this professional talk anymore. welcome to 100 thieves." jack stands up and i laugh. all three of them walk towards me and i can't help but chuckle at how short rae actually is. "what's so funny." she furrows her eyebrows.
"i'm sorry but you're so short." she rolls her eyes jokingly.
"im not short! i'm just.. not tall." she defends. "don't worry. y/n is like an inch taller than you." i laugh before realizing-
oh shit.
"who's y/n?" matt smirks. "ooo did vinnie finally get a girlfriend?" he teases.
i feel my cheeks heat up at the mention of her name. this girl can always make me blush and i hate it. kinda.
"she's just a friend i met recently." i shrug. trying my best to lie. i suck at it.
"lying ain't good for you dude. and we ain't gonna ignore your red cheeks." matt smirks poking my cheek.
i sigh in defeat. "yes she's my girlfriend, we haven't made it public and only a few people know." i admit to them and they all nod understandingly.
"can we see a picture of her? my friend wants to know." rae asks. i give her a 'really?' look.
i pull out my phone and turn it on. my wallpaper is a picture of us both at a private beach. i remember that moment perfectly. that was the day i asked her to be my girlfriend. the sun was setting, the sound of the ocean waves, birds chirping. it was beautiful. magical even.
we kept on trying to take a picture together but we couldn't figure out where to set my phone and i didn't want to do a selfie. that was until someone offered to help since they saw us struggling. best day of my life.
"hello? vinnie?" i'm snapped out of my thoughts by matt shaking my shoulders. i shake my head. "you good? you've been staring at your phone for two minutes straight."
"yeah sorry i just zoned out." i blush. "um here's y/n." i turn my phone so they can see my wallpaper." they all give me an amused look making me smile.
"bring her over please. she's so hot." rae begs.
"trust me i will." she smiles brightly and starts jumping a little bit. "you guys will get along great."
"so you're moving out of hype, do you have a place to stay at?" matt changes the subject. i think for a second but shake my head. y/n wants me to stay at her place but she's living with liya and i don't want to be in the way. i could buy my own place but it'll take a bit of time 'til i actually move in.
"no?" all three of them exchange looks before jack nods his head. "how about you move in with us."
· · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
"that's the last box." i let out a breath of relief after i put the last box containing my stuff in the U-HAUL moving truck. i wipe off the of sweat that's resting on my forehead and walk back inside.
"so um.. this is it i guess?" jack asks me. i softly smile at him. "yeah it is. it was fun while it lasted."
"you aren't gonna forget about us are you?" he looks at me worryingly. "are you dumb? of course not!"
"come on. bring it in." i open up my arms inviting him for a hug. he chuckles and wraps his arms around me. "LET ME IN!" i hear someone yell.
i look up and see jett running towards us quickly before aggressively hugging us both. all three of us let out a fit of laughter. i'm going to miss these two a lot.
"alright alright." we all let go of each other. "i hope you have fun over there. it's a bigger group. just don't replace us." jett says.
"never bro." i smirk. i give him a 'are you thinking what i'm thinking' look and he smirks. i open my arms for him and he instantly hugs me.
we both move our hands down to touch each other's asses. "what the hell did i just walk in to?" y/n asks stepping downstairs.
"i just convinced vinnie to stay." jett smiles as he pulls away from me.
"yeah sorry babe." i joke, letting go of him. i walk towards her and pucker my lips. she scrunches up her face. "you're sweaty and you touched someone else's ass."
"not the first time you've seen me sweaty." i whisper in her ear causing her to gasp and push my shoulder. "shut up." she covers her face not wanting me to know that she's blushing.
"where's thomas and mia?" i ask jack. "they're upstairs. thomas still isn't very happy with you moving out." i roll my eyes. he was doing great before i joined, he should be fine with me gone.
"i'm gonna go see him." i mutter. it's been two weeks and he's still upset? i'm leaving a content house, not comiting murder.
as i make my way upstairs, i hear some quiet voices coming from thomas' room. i quietly walk closer to the room so the sounds can become more audible.
"no mia you don't understand. if he leaves, our viewership is gonna go down." i hear thomas angrily whisper to her.
"but-"
"no! i've worked too damn hard to get where i am. this is gonna be just like when charli, dixie and addison left. people are not gonna care about us. we're gonna be irrelevant!" my eyebrows furrow, what the hell is he talking about?
"maybe this'll be good for us. we can invite more people to join. we don't need vinnie." i raise my my eyebrows at the mention of my name. so this is why they kept me? for fame?
"you aren't getting it mia. we need him so we don't turn out like those popular youtubers from 2014." he groans.
confrontation time.
i step inside the room, the first thing i see is thomas' shocked expression. "so that's why you wanted me to stay, just so you can stay relevant."
"list-" he tries to speak but i interrupt him. "no let me talk. what the fuck thomas. all week i've been in my head wondering why my friend isn't happy about me jump starting my career. maybe he really liked me, maybe he liked me as a person, maybe just maybe he liked me as a friend. but no." my heart is starting to race and i feel my face become hot from the amount of fury i'm feeling.
"no vinn-" "no fuck you thomas. i'm leaving. good luck." i scoff rolling my eyes. a year and a half for what? did he even think of me as a friend? or a bag of money?
i quickly storm downstairs, everyone staring at me with a confused expression. "yo what happened?" jett asks me. "nothing." i mutter. i don't wanna talk to anyone. i want to leave this place as soon as possible.
"baby what happened?" y/n asks me. i instantly wrap my arms around her tiny body and rest my face in her neck. i feel her move her arm and everyone leaves the living room. "thomas wanted me to stay so he can keep being famous." i whisper in her ear frowning. i'm pretty sure she can feel my heartbeat because she's rubbing my back which she knows is what calms me down.
"you wanna leave right now or wait a bit?" she asks softly. i feel myself become more relaxed, i'm still upset but i was warned. 'not everyone in LA is your friend'.
"i wanna go." i tell her. i can't risk seeing thomas again and expecting myself to not yell again. "okay. is your room empty?" she asks. i nod my head, hera is staying with rae for now till i move in. i would've given her to jack but he hates cats.
"alright then. let's go."
· · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
"i'm actually gonna meet the valkyrae. that's so crazy!" you squeal as vinnie just laughs at how excited you are. "is she nice? do you think she'll like me?"
"i didn't really talk to her that much but from our small interaction, she's really cool. and you guys are gonna get along i can tell." he smiles at you. "what about everyone else? how are they?"
"well matt is a really cool guy, you'll love him. jack is also very nice, he has a girlfriend too. i haven't met her but from what i've heard, she's a really chill person." he explains. "they're gonna love you. i promise." he places his hand on her thighs.
suddenly, vinnie hits the brake aggressively causing you to jolt forward almost hitting the dashboard. "what the fuck dude!" he yells and honks the car.
"he just fucking passed the red light." "sorry baby."
"it's okay." you look in the mirror and fix your hair running your hands through it.
"everything good now?" he nods as he starts driving again. "is anyone else gonna be living with you?" you ask him curiously.
"brooke is living there too with her boyfriend. i've talked to them a few times and i really like them." you can't believe you're going to meet these people. it's nerve-racking but also very exciting. you can't process the fact that you're going to be in the presence of one of the biggest female streamers in the world.
after half an hour of you guys sitting in the car singing to your favorite songs, vinnie finally makes his way to the drive way of the 100 thieves content house.
"we're here baby!" he yells excitedly as he quickly parks the car and turns it off. "you excited?" you ask him when you see the giant smile plastered on his face.
"very much so. let's go." he says quickly as he unbuckles himself and you do the same. he steps out of the car and runs around the car so he can open the door for you. "thank you kind sir." you say in a british accent.
"just for you m'lady." he bows.
you both walk towards the huge door hand in hand. "vinnie calm down, im not nervous anymore and they don't even know me." you giggle feeling his hand sweating. "what if they change their mind last minute?" he asks the same question as a few days ago.
"stop it with the 'what ifs' you're here now right? they wouldn't change their minds last minute. breathe and calm down." he nods and takes a deep breath before ringing the doorbell.
after a few minutes of waiting at the front door, it finally opens and you are met with someone you believe is matt?
"hey vinnie! welcome!" he greets him as they dab each other up. his gaze shifts towards you as he takes his hand out for you to shake. "you must be y/n. it's very nice to meet you." he smiles kindly at you. "it's nice to meet you too matt, vinnie has told me a lot about you."
"come in!" he opens the door widely so you both can step inside. "follow me." you both follow him to wherever he's taking you guys. you notice how huge the area actually is, to your right there is a small living room and to your left is another room with a couch and a small TV.
"SURPRISE!" a lot, and i mean a lot of people that were hiding behind the couches jump up startling you and vinnie.

♡~DIRTY THOUGHTS ABOUT BAKUBULL AND HIS FARMER BOY!~♡
Okay imagine one day your working on a fence when all of the sudden a calf pulls you down to the ground, while another works on taking of your pants. Soon enough your surrounded by a few heifers maybe eight or eleven. Soon enough Bakugou joins them, watching you wriggle with and flush deliciously before speaking up with a "ello there princess, me and my beautiful gurls wanted to have fun with ya~ be a good boy and enjoy what comes next alright?~" soon enough one heifer starts to ride your dick while Bakugou starts eating you out for the first two heifers. During this excitable event, you can't help but moan and wriggle while the heifers praise you and Bakugou. After bakugou was satisfied with his devoring he decided its time to fill up that stomach of yours with his cum, planning to make it buldge. Meanwhile your mind is in a haze, after cumming at least five times from just the two alone. The third just about to mount him was interrupted by Bakugou sitting up and soon him slamming that cock of his into you, and with you being unprepared you couldn't help the shouting moan you let out as you came from him ramming his dick into your stomach. While you moaned and twiched in a bit of painful pleasure, the heifer who had not yet put your dick into her turned to Bakugou with a pout "Kaaatssuuu! I didn't put him in yet!" She said with a huff. Bakugou only chuckled though with a smirk and kissing her head blowing air out his nose before replying with an apology, "I'm sorry darlin~ I got too excited and before I knew it I slammed into him, I honestly didn't think he'd blow his load so quick from that~ But just look at 'im~" and that being said you did look pretty wrecked, drooling and pretty tears and all. The heifers couldn't help but coo at you and fill your ears with praise, and in midst of that the heifers continued with her intentions on riding you, but this time with Bakugou pounding into you holds his beautiful heifer close, relishing in your moans and whine and whimpers only pushing him to ram you more as you felt the overwhelming need to cum once more trying to tell him them to slow down only for you to moan in the middleof trying to plead. "A-AaaHh w-Wa- waiiaaAAAHHHHHH!~♡" You came once again not being able to stop as they continued to milk you and fill you up for at least three more rounds, till the third heifer got off off you with praises. You felt a bit full, and you couldn't tell if it was due to Bakugou's dick or the amount of cum he pumped into you, but before you could fall unconscious Bakugou pulled back before slamming into you, waking you up instantly. You hear a few clicking noises that you hear come from Bakugou's direction, "now, now darlin we can't have ya fallin asleep now, ther's still some beauties who wanna hear those pretty moans of yer's" Sure enough after what felt like twenty to maybe more rounds, you felt full to brim practically pregnant looking and milked completely empty, Bakugou and his heifers showered you in praise, a heifer collecting your things and Bakugou carrying you to his and his heifers barn house to get you cleaned up and comfortable while helping you push out the Bulls come. . .that is after leaving it in there for at least two hours since he was so proud of how you looked claimed like that.
Sure enough after that event, everytime Bakugou or his heifers touche or flirt with you, you can practically feel those boners pop up or your insides clench with need,. . . It does not help that they can smell that and start to tease you every time.
----‐------------‐--------- THE END~♡ ----‐---------------------‐--------
@miggiisdumb 's Bakubull thirst has struck me again with the Need for Bakubull. Imma also tag @headkandies since we both have a love for Bakubull. Hope you readers like it! I'm not the best writer but I hope I did okay??? 😊💦💦💦
