Well, let's have Richard 2, pretending to be Marilyn Monroe... sing to David... wishing Mr Tennant a very Happy 53rd Birthday ..... still a toy boy to me lol!! Hoping that he has had a Fabulous day.

Before I started on my arty Crowley T shirts and got totally distracted, I was trying to do a drawing a day in my sketchbook... but once the T shirts took over I forgot about the sketchbook.... basically it inspired the T shirts. Here are the DT ones I started... none are finished , all works in progress. I must try to get back to the drawing.

This was the first one.... like this image was the first T shirt.

(The other image was me in A Midsummer Night's Dream,Lindsay Kemp company stage make up for a Fairy.)

I have loved Rotring pens since I was 16 in my first year at Art School.

I also love Dip pens and Indian ink.

All 3 of these images are on T Shirts.

They take ages with all the dots.

I had to buy the Radio Times to draw this the weekend he presented the Bafta film awards.

JOIN ME ON A JOURNEY

Many eons ago...freshly fallen and still going by Crawley.

The next two are from roughly the same time. While his pupils are larger than a human, we see a tremendous amount of white. Now compare that to the second frame in the burning shop

Crowley, emotional high. He can not sense his best friend. Thinks he has died. His eyes nearly entirely demonic again.

Next two the rage and near manic surge of driving the bently through hell fire. These 2 posted out of order but you can see his eyes are nearly full demonic again at the height of his power

And then moments later once reunited with his angel and gearing up for the battle that never was

Flash forward to season II, he is relaxed and boarderline domestic with Azi. His eyes are the closest to human we have ever seen them. His ease is further displayed by the fact he rarely wears his glasses around his angel while likewise Azi keeps the shop dark for him.

Now while this is how his eyes appear the last time we see them in season 2, I would be remiss if I didn't mention they nearly glowed just days earlier when he confronted JimShortforGabriel about nearly killing his only friend.

..and so ends my journey through snake eyes after Neil's enlightening tidbit.

✨ The way this one evolved, this moment feels very much like a tender act of worship. They both feel so many things at once…Aziraphale can’t help but show it, and poor Crowley doesn’t know how to handle it. He’s starving for the affection, but truly believes he’s unworthy of it…after all, even god rejected him. Yet, here is his Angel…

I feel like as a collective we don't talk enough about Aziraphale's and Crowley's periodic "Ah, no Paperwork !!" whenever they successfully avoid discorporation [or should I say, when they avoid the bullet]

It’s obviously not paperwork they care about; I swear every single time one of them says this, it practically means "I am so glad you are not dead, because I love living here [on Earth] with you, it would never ever be the same without you"

Ok sorry I keep going… Good Omens Spoilers S2

Things that are now canon and I deadass cannot:

- Aziraphale is a bad driver

- Gabriel and Beezlebub are an item

- Crowley and Aziraphale knew each other before the fall

- Crowley was someone high up in Heaven before the fall

- Everybody knows they are a thing. The angels. The demons. The humans. *love Shax’s comments and Aziraphale’s facial expressions**

- Crowley confesses first. They are somewhat ineffable idiots but also they are just ugh, I love them

- Crowley covers his eyes because they reveal too much. Taking off their glasses is an act of trust. Him putting them back on in the last scene hurts so much.

- Crowley is not a lad

- Crowley is so furious with Gabriel over the Hell fire biz

- the “our shop” the “our car”

This is my ransom note to Neil Gaiman love letter to the ineffable idiots and the Gomens fandom. There will undoubtedly be more because I caught the brain rot so bad.

Scaly semi-snek flaming-like-anything-ginger freckled Crowley because why not? I wanted to mess around with a very pale, slightly creepy color palette for skintones, so this was a good exercise. And anyway, I could draw DT's glorious swan-like neck every day for the rest of my life and never grow weary of it.

Michael Sheen's nose --hell, his profile in general--will be my undoing. He is SUCH a challenge to draw, which I adore. I used quite literally 4x the references for 'Zira than for Anthony Janthony.

About: All digital, all Photoshop, baby. Orig. 4483 x 5391 px. ~2 weeks of off-and-on painting when I got tired of my work art. Title is taken from Closer by Nine Inch Nails because I pretty much exclusively listened to The Downward Spiral on repeat while I worked on this piece, because that's the kind of angsty teenage headspace I'm in??? I'm fucking 34 years old, I thought I was past this.

When I hit the year of my 50th birthday back in 2013... I embarked upon an artistic project of taking a self-portrait every day.... it lasted 4 years in the end, 2013 - 2016. It was all smoke and mirrors, I don't look that good in real life. It's amazing what you can do with makeup and wigs.

I also had regrets of Not having more photos from my youth in the 80s, when I ran away from every camera sadly.

I recently looked back on this project. There I discovered I was already channelling the DT Crowley and the Good Omens TV show before it even existed...lol

Some of the red wigs, there were a lot more photos, but you can see them on the videos.

Crowley really is not sure... lol... don't worry dear, I have lost the plot! I am rambling!

The videos got better, year by year so starting with year 3.

Well, my 60s look from 2014. Lol.

As a Theatrical costume person, I had a box of sunglasses and wigs to play with, along with loads of make-up.

Back in the 80s, I wanted some sunglasses that Boy George and his mate Marilyn wore in many colours... with side bits that remind me of Crowley's now... I had to wait until they came back due to Steam Punks.

I like Crowley's better than the 80s now.

(Question... Why does Crowley's snake move up and down his face in season 2... has it sauntered , vaguely downwards?)

Each day I never knew what I was going to do... I really believe ideas hover in the ether... and that's why at times people have similar ideas or influences. Don't ask me how or why... it just is!

I used many angelic things , such as feathers and wings, I also had the fake tattoos on my face... stars and black feathers with crows. Black feather and Angel necklaces, Beelzebub and Eric eyelashes, Then we have Eve eating the apple, I don't like red apples lol. We have a globe, the 1941 hat... Good Omens was so going to appeal to me, wasn't it?

I want that hat.... always wanted a hat like that, since I saw David Bowie's hats in The Man who fell to Earth.

I asked Daniel Ash of Bauhaus/ Love and Rockets/ Tones on Tail if I could use his music to use on the YouTube videos, which he gracefully allowed. Always be grateful for that. Thank you, Mr Ash.... My original Crowley influence, but that essay is coming.

Year 4 of the arty project is on my arty FB page, but I used a friend's music, which I am not so keen on now, and I need to redo with Daniel Ash music... as it works better for me.... and keeps to the theme.

I got carried away and got very arty with this one.... which is a mish mash of the images.

Hope you enjoy my ramblings. It's good to get that off my mind's hard drive...

Beelzebub's thrones

So I haven't seen anyone talking about this at all, but maybe I'm just missing posts. You can see Gabriel's & Beelzebub's plan all along was to get him kicked out of heaven and come rule hell by nope'ing Armageddon-again in the first episode!

How? It's right there when Beez calls Crowley down to chat very agitatedly in S2E1 about finding Gabriel for "us". They have actually dragged two thrones (out of the S1 judgement scene no less) into their office(?) and staged them side by side, as equals. They are sitting in one already, waiting for the second to be filled any minute by their missing fallen angel! Only they get Crowley instead. It gets even cuter/sadder when you see the same office again in S2E3 when they ask for updates on Gabriel, and this is how the thrones are looking now.

They've been slowly losing hope over Gabriel's smooth descent to hell, so they're just trying not to think about it, and have thus shoved the chair in a corner under some paperwork, trying really hard not to think about him, but still RIGHT IN FRONT, FACING THEIR THRONE. Clearly not working so well then. And then in S2E4, when they are at their lowest point, Beez has moved to a completely DIFFERENT room with only one throne, and it's all alone in a spotlight. They can't even stand being in the ROOM with both thrones anymore, it hurts too much. It's just then when Shax makes their move, and offers to bring them in by any means necessary, including absolutely f%$?ing all politics and going to war over a book store. And they say YES. Poor Beelzebub. (As an extra art direction piece of genius in this scene you can see one lone soul in a similar spotlight staring up at - earth, maybe? - looking like how beelzebub feels on the inside. T_T)

For this one, I worked with my amazing author Snowfilly1! The story they wrote is so vivid, I feel like this art still doesn’t do it justice! I’ll link it below, go read it!! Right now!
