Pieces... I don’t need anyone to save me. There are too many sunsets I am yet to see, need to see, must see. But someone cheering me on would help. Someone holding my hand in love instead of judgement would be nice. Because isn’t that what we all want? To be loved for who we are and what we are and all that we are, always? The waves and sea remind me that even when its rough, I am here to be me and make a difference to those who need to see they’re not alone as I share the relentless things that have happened to me, that they took from me. The peace and quiet broken by voices; some familiar, some I can’t place, calling out the mundane as they go about their day, treating those they encounter with contempt instead of care, with judgment instead of love. And I pray that they will be quiet so that I can focus, listen, only hear the one voice I need to hear in peace. But this place I find myself in is peaceless cos there are so many pieces, and I will not rest until I am whole again. . . Thank you for reading my words. You had me..... You had me in your wallet for about years... Wherever you went You took me with you... Highs and lows From street vendors to airports... I have seen coins and heavy notes... I have seen empty compartments and your newest debit cards... I have seen grocery lists and broken buttons next to me too... Your dad never saw me though... Every time he checked your wallet.. you made sure To put me back So he won't know our little secret... I guess I gave you enough reasons to take me out of our home... I miss the ambiance Miss the jingling sound of coins and the smell of crunchy notes... I'm back to where I started in the first place... All I'm left with is your thumb and index's touch When you lifted me and put me between the pages of my journal. .. Was I too heavy for you? Did my eyes bother you? Did I not love you enough to make up for all that hurt? Guess you don't want to know... Guess we'll never know... . . .

these city noises disturbs me

more than anything nowadays.

everyone here is going back and forth

without even realising

what they're missing so far.

people here just try to survive,

not live.

these are just the living bodies over dead souls,

who've slid their dreams into a wet bowl,

not having enough desires,

and entangled in the society's wires.

i hate to be one amongst them,

surrounded by so many living bodies,

yet being all alone amidst them.

different genes and different blood in the veins,

they perceive everything differently,

and for no reason i find it weird.

life is strange, isn't it?

you wake up and go through

the same routine all day round,

yet end up with different

outcomes each day.

probably, that is what life is.

to move constantly, even though

you don't know where you'll end up.

birds are chirping in the sky,

probably they're returning to their home,

or going away in search of food.

they don't get the privilege to eat

at the place of their choice.

they fly to the place

where the wind takes them.

humans are no less the birds,

even though they have invisible wings

to fly high and touch the sky,

yet sometimes they've no choice

rather than going where life is taking them.

probably,

god knows what we deserve,

and we know what we want.

apparently,

we get what we are worthy of,

not the one we longed for.

REAL... I just wanted real in a world so full of fake. I just wanted to heal but you wanted to see me break. I just wanted to be held, but all I got was judgement, without the right to speak, left destroyed and silenced. I bought all the lies you sold, only to become the one who was sold out.
