My response to the idea that Percy Jackson is an atheist:

I got the sense that Percy WAS an atheist when he first arrived at Camp Half Blood, but by the end of things he's offering ships drenched in Diet Coke to Dionysus.

I think that over 90% of the characters in the Percy Jackson series are clearly neo-pagans who actually worship the gods, or at least worship their divine parent.

That Jason wanted to become a priest of all gods at the end of Heroes of Olympus could be taken as further indication.

Not that I'd want to fight anyone to the death or anything over my theory that the PJO universe is essentially neo-pagan. It is fiction, and there are few wrong conclusions about fictional characters. The reader/viewer is free to see what they want to see.

going to pointlessly ramble about my thoughts on the (discarded) hxh ending.

is it good? it’s so incredibly generic, and doesn’t reveal anything about the story. which i think is why togashi chose it. it was discarded for a reason, but would be the ending to choose just to give people an ending

togashi is literally sick. the fact that he was pressured into giving out an ending is awful, not only that but people are hating on him for said ending. hxh overall has been so good, like he’s done to much and somehow it’s not enough, etc. that obviously doesn’t devoid him of criticism, but it’s literally a discarded ending. which in only said in case he dies, which i think is the way worse part of it

idk it’s just such an overall upsetting situation :( like of course the 14yo in me was like “killugon” etc, but 19yo me really just wants a well written ending (which he is working on), and to have togashi not kill himself over trying to do so. i would be completely fine with hxh not having an ending overall

Breaking the Dollhouse AU

Glen still has so much guilt for what happened to Meg. They feel that they could’ve done something to stop Tiffany the second she pulled the nail filer out, but they just completely froze and were terrified. Terrified at the sight of their Aunt Meg being killed by their own mother and terrified of Tiffany as well.

So Glen feels so guilty for freezing up and allowing it to happen, it’s something that haunts them in their nightmares and can upset them throughout the day when they think too much about it. They haven’t been able to forgive themselves yet, even though Nica, Glenda, and Junior keep telling Glen that it wasn’t their fault.

Poor Glen has so much guilt about what happened to Meg. They were both curious about what was going on with Tiffany, but Glen feels guilty for encouraging Meg to follow Tiffany with them.

ok, totally off topic than my usual stuff but it popped in my head and I had to see if others agree.

there's the recent debate about which is better: apple music or Spotify.

and I have a thought on this that might be unpopular. as a certified apple music girly, I thoroughly think that it depends on what your looking for. like Spotify is great if your looking for something free.

me personally, I prefer Apple Music, I needed clean music in high school because I went to a religious high school and needed clean music and I found that apple music had a bigger selection of clean music.

but I also use the free version of Spotify when I'm looking to find new music. like in my head, Spotify is better in terms of finding new music but apple is better for listening to music you know that you like.

does that make sense?
