🪄Loki Laufeyson Caregiver Headcannons🪄

🪄-When it comes to bedtime, he'll always make illusions for his little to sleep. He'll make the room covered with stars and planets, then in the morning if he's not by his little's side already, he'll have an illusion of himself waiting for them in the morning

🪄-Loki doesn't mind being called Mommy, Bubba, or Daddy. In fact, he prefers his littles to call him both. Some days he'll want to be called one more than the other.

🪄-When his little gets fussy, he'll always sit them down and talk through it. He does a very good job of being calm and patient when it comes to tantrums. Loki will do his best to help his little calm down in anyway he can.

"We can talk it through darling, when you're ready."

🪄-Loki isn't a fan of giving his little one sweets. He knows how littles can get with too much sugar and frankly he doesn't know how to handle a little when they get a sugar rush. But on rare occasion, he'll let his little have a small cupcake or one piece of candy.

🪄-When he first became a caregiver, he was very hesitant to make any moves. He just wanted to make sure his little one was comfortable enough to trust him.

"Is it okay if I hold you, darling? Or would you like to sit on my lap instead? The choice is yours, baby."

🪄-He sometimes gets jealous when his little get attention from other people. He's very protective and wants to be the only one to make his little one happy. This all rooted from Thor being able to make his little one stop crying in one shot.. let's just say, he wouldn't let his little see Thor for awhile

🪄-He'll take his little to Asgard all the time to play in the garden. But Loki will make sure to keep a good eye on them, the last thing he would ever want is his little getting hurt.

🪄-Loki can't bear it when his little cries. Not because he's annoyed or anything like that, but because his heart feels like it's being crushed into pieces when he sees his little sad or in pain. All he wants to do is make it better for his little, and he's willing to do anything to make it happen.

"Please tell me what's the matter, my love. Dada only wants to make it better."

🪄-Loki loves to tease his little with tricks occasionally. Like making their pacifier disappear for seconds, making himself levitate over his littles head, and his personal favorite, being the "tickle monster."

🪄- Whenever his little is sick, he'll always make teas with the best of the best Asgardian ingredients, just like Frigga used to do for him. And of course, be right by his little's side the whole time until they feel better.

What if Sylvie fell in love with you, a mortal on Earth? (HEADCANNONS)

Naturally, it would scare her. Meaning she would try to push you away, be a little short with you, pretending to be disinterested to stay distant

But when you confront her about the sudden change in behaviour, she realises that she’s only making things complicated

She’d apologise and just say she’s ‘stressed with work’, obviously not at all wanting to tell you about the life she lived before, this was her fresh start after all

Although the fear she felt about falling for you would still be present, after all, you’re a mortal and she’s seen whole realms be destroyed and die over and over

She’d be difficult to get close to at first, guarded and closed off, sure she was pleasant and chatty enough, but any questions about her past or anything deeper than surface level would be harder to discuss

Soft smiles and doe eyed looks would be very much involved

She would be awkward, not too sure how to navigate her feelings

If anyone upsets you, she instantly becomes like a feral cat and wants to hurt whoever would dare hurt you— but ultimately she would just have a ‘quiet word’ with them

Hand and arm brushes/bumps, standing a bit closer than needed when around you, eyes flickering to your lips

Giving you free milkshakes because you’re her favourite mortal

Late night talks on the hood of her truck, listening to music and star gazing

She’d let you introduce her to new foods, show her quiet places, as well as taking her to the movies - her favourites are rom coms but if anyone asks she will deny it

You’d be her best friend and her go to person, no doubt about that

Playful teasing and jabs, all affectionate and full of fondness

Sarcastic quips also, she loves when you match hers with your own

She would do whatever it took to protect you

Headcanon: Loki notices that you are on your period

How would the god of mischief act?

First, if Loki sees you in pain and holding your lower abdomen, he would worry about you because he would think that someone hurt you and he would take out his daggers saying: "who did it?"

Or worse, if Loki notices a red stain somewhere (for example on a sofa) and realizes that it comes from you, he would be scared because he thinks you hurt yourself. But when you tell him you're in those days, he'll probably blame someone else for the stain or even blame himself saying it was because he stabbed someone, so no one finds out it was you.

Loki will do everything possible to make you comfortable. He will not leave your side no matter how much you protest, he will give you hot things like tea or a hot water bottle to reduce the pain

And if that's not enough, he will distract you by telling you battle anecdotes or singing to you. He will also offer you his hand to hold if you are in a lot of pain (he will hold your firm grip even if his fingers hurt).

He will have to be very patient with your mood swings. At first he will be confused, even a little irritated since he doesn't understand why at first you want to hug him and then you can't stand him or see him close. To tell the truth, sometimes he will be afraid of your aggressive reactions and will ask Thor for help.

Loki will be as understanding as possible and if your clothes get stained he will wash them with no problem (it's not like he's bothered by blood anyway, he's stabbed so many people) and if he doesn't know how to wash it he'll ask you nicely if you know how to do it for him. you give him directions, or just if he can't ask anyone he'll figure it out on the way

Lots of hugs and kisses on the forehead or in your hair

Although Loki rarely lends his stuff but he lets you grab his helmet and put it on, he knows that you love to admire and touch the glowing horns.

If you have soiled your pants, Loki will come after you and whisper to you that you have soiled yourself and cover you with his whole body so that no one will notice.

He'll even offer to buy you that weird thing Midgardians call a "lady pad" (he has no idea what that is). But rest assured that at first he won't want to get involved in it, but seeing you so uncomfortable he will do it for you.

MARVEL Headcannon #4:

Loki was one of those kids that talked in the 3rd person. Only problem with that is that they really struggled with pronouncing their name, so instead of saying LOKI, they would end up saying LOGI.

Thor constantly teased them on it to the point where humans caught on, and were convinced that there was a being of pure fire named Logi, when in reality, it was just Loki not being able to say their name.

On a different note, yes, Loki, along with being the God of Mischief, is also the God of Fire. Everyone forgets this, INCLUDING Loki.

(Small side note: Loki has a HUGE appetite. It doesn't look like it, but don't be fooled. They do. They have one of those freaky metabolisms that allow them to eat pretty much anything and still remain a skinny legend, much to the envy of a lot of people.)

peter and loki are brothers and i said so. loki loves that ball of sunshine and he's always wanted to be a big brother and he finally gets a chance to be a good brother and its for this sweet sweet boy who always wanted a big brother. and so both of them are desperate to have new siblings and to have family and feel close to someone and they're awkward about it but they love each other a lot. loki makes a point of always visiting peter and leaving him notes. he likes to embarass peter at school and be an annoying big brother. and everything something bad happens peter calls loki and needs his big brother. i am insane.

I know discourse is going around. But the way i see how loki was saying new york was him having a bad day. I see it like thor taking the fall for destroying asgard when he told LOKI to unleash surtur. And since tva loki just came from the first avengers hes probably still in the "we can't let them know abt thanos" mindset (and he and thor suck at relating to humans lol)

I think he just doesn't want to talk about it? This is the same dude that claimed time-slipping was "not that bad." To me, even if not mind controlled (I've seen people say he might not have been aware of it), he was at least coerced into it (the threats and pain inflicted by the Other), and his recollections of past events were inaccurate in Avengers (2012). Which implies both coercion and mindfuckery. He's also under surveillance through some mindfuckery.

Now, I don't think he ever held human lives in high regard in the first place. But he would not have done the invasion on his own, or would have wanted to give Thanos the infinity stones (and potentially doom Asgard, one of the realms he's been shown to care about). In fact, while posing as Odin, he tried to separate the stones.

And at this point, I can choose believe whatever I want. The tones of the movies and characterizations are far from consistent. And if I had to suffer through the knowledge that What If? claims Thanos could have been talked out of wiping half of the universe and he's just such as nice guy! Why did no one talk to him? And they're allowed to forget about Loki and Sylvie's Asgardian/Jotun strength without providing explanations (e.g. enhancements or strong human-looking aliens).... so I am allowed to forget about that...

In my head, he died and was resurrected by the Black Order, and some fucked up sense of gratefulness and fear was cultivated by them (e.g. constant threats of being killed, maybe he was actually killed again and then resurrected). Loki ended up in Hel originally, not Valhalla, and tried to avoid returning by sacrificing himself in battle.

Loki would like to consider himself as an experienced individual. He’s lived many years, has traveled to many places, it’d be odd for the god of mischief to not have any experience. But what he’s never been experienced in, was love. Loki has never been in love before, not real love. Not like this.

With this love, His eyes never left you when you strolled into the room, his mouth went dry every time he heard your laughter, his hands grew clammy when he caught himself having new feelings towards you. He didn’t like this feeling, being nervous whenever you were around.

“Hey Lok?” You asked, sitting across from him on the couch and pressing your cotton socks against his. “What are you thinking about?”

You.

Instead he shook his head, “nothing in particular.”

He didn’t know how he felt about these feelings. “Well it doesn’t seem like nothing, you’re staring and grinning all silly.”

Loki’s sincere smile shifts as he tries to tone his apparent expressions down, “you’re imagining things.”

You grin happily at him, “oh please, I know I’m very imaginative but I’m not that imaginative.”

You got on your knees and crawled along the fabric of the couch, stopping right beside him. You pressed your forehead against his shoulder, leaning your weight on him. and raising, you quickly found his and laced your fingers together. Loki's throat gulped as you pressed your thumb tenderly massaging the back of his hand.

This. This right here was all new experiences for him, and although his mind still rang unsure with these unknown feelings his heart knew that he wanted more.
