George Weasley - Loved and Lost You
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing : (F/M) || George Weasley x Gryffindor!Reader Word Count : 4.8k  Warning : Mention of food. One foul language. If you like this story and would like to support me, please visit my kofi page and perhaps get me a coffee?☕
“What would I do without you, truly?”
She shrugs, passing the redhead his quidditch robe, “I don’t know, actually. Probably died a long time ago.”
The boy grins, receiving the said item thankfully.
The sun was beaming, steady wind blowing that lovely morning as the Gryffindors began to crowd the quidditch field. It was another typical practice but for as long as she could remember, she has always been a constant audience of the activity. She wasn’t sure if it was purely caused by her admiration of the said sport or was there any other hidden meaning she tries so hard to bury inside her chest, but if Voldemort himself is not outside of her doorstep and threatening her with the cruciatus curse, best believe she would come and cheer for her favourite Wealeys.
Yes, Weasleys.
Though it was obvious for everyone else that she has always been more fond of one of the twins, she would always argue that they both are her best friends and that she loves them equally. Sure she has been more open with one of them, spent more time on his bed and shared more of her heartfelt stories with him, but that doesn’t mean that she has any special feelings for him. They simply connect better, like the way honey fits best with tea instead of sugar.
“Say, do you have any plans after this?” He asked, putting on his robe in the process “I was wondering if you’d like to do that Charms essay together?”
“By together you mean by copying mine?”
He grins sheepishly, “You know me best.”
“Yes, I’ve heard that before.” She says as she rolls her eyes “Meet you here after?”
“Sound.”
He ruffled her hair, the very dear habit he does whenever they’re going to part ways, before he jogs lightly to the field.
She finds herself walking to the bleacher, finding a spot next to Hermione who was trying to bite down her smile, “What?”
“Nothing.”
“Oh, don’t ‘nothing’ me, Hermione. I know something’s running wild in your precious witty brain.”
“It’s just that,” The younger Gryffindor vents, turning to her “You and George look so cute together. Whatever is stopping you two from dating? Everyone could see the heart eyes you’ve been exchanging with each other.”
She rolls her eyes, “There’s no heart eyes between us. Don’t make up words, Hermione, you know how rumours go wild in this school.”
“Oh, but there totally is!” She argues, feeling rather curbed over her emotions “George has never looked at anyone the way he looks at you and vice versa. You both are neck deep in love with each other yet refuse to acknowledge it. Merlin, you both are denying it for no reason, really!”
She turns her head to watch the game, not entertaining the younger girl any longer.
Hermione wasn’t the first to question their friendship. In fact she’s one of the least vocal about it, compared to Ginny and Harry would blurt out the questions right in front of the younger twin, making the atmosphere to be awkward for the next 2 minutes to come. It would be a lie if she never pondered about the underlying truth beneath the curious accusations their friends made, but being best friends with the Twins was all she’s known for since she first stepped in Hogwarts. She’s been the honorary third twin, so Fred called, and their close relationship has always been something of her identity. There really isn’t anything more than that.
They were all just making things up, she was sure. There’s no heart eyes, no soft gazes and George definitely doesn’t like her that way. If he does, she would’ve known about it because who else could read him like an open book? Right?
—-
Her attempt on keeping her giggles in was evidently failing as George continued to nudge her under the table. Troubles in Potion is always the worst and she wouldn’t want to get any of them detention from Snivellus, but what exactly can you expect from sitting next to one of the Twins? It would be a cold day in hell if they don’t try to tickle or at the very least make silly comments about the Professor throughout the lesson.
And as if on cue, George was pulled up from his seat abruptly, arm being yanked away by the foul Professor, “Switch your seat with Diggory. Now.”
The joy on both their faces turn into horror in the blink of an eye. George nods silently, packing his belongings. She shot an apologetic smile at him, watching him as he shuffled away from their table. Diggory, who looks surprised that his name was being called, is now walking to their table, his unfinished essays disorganised in his hands.
“Hi.”
She smiles, nodding, “Hello, Diggory.”
She glances at George, making sure that the boy wasn’t much affected by Snape’s wrest, though she knew that it would require much more than the Professor’s assault to frighten the boy. Hell, she wasn’t even sure there would ever be anything George Weasley is afraid of. That boy has always been confident and undaunted no matter how severe the circumstances he was in. Yet she still couldn’t stop herself from checking in on him. It has become an unconscious habit she picked up over the years.
George wiggles his eyebrows at her, showing his unphased state as he takes a seat. She rolled her eyes. Of course he’s still being his jesterself.
She turns her head back to her paper, only to notice Diggory’s eyes glued to a few tables in front of them. She follows his direction, raising her brows as she realises that he was watching Patricia Stimpson intently. She looks back at Diggory who still hasn’t blinked from the last she saw him.
“Is there something on Stimpson’s face that I didn’t notice?” She asks aloud, making the boy snap out of his thought “Is it only noticeable from your side of the table?”
“No, there’s nothing on her face.” He answers, cheeks turning rosy “I was just spacing out.”
She squints her eyes, noting the nervous shift of his gesture, “Are my eyes deceiving me or are you blushing right now, Diggory.”
“Shut up.”
“Oh, Merlin!” She exclaims quietly, grinning at the secret she’s just learned “You fancy Stimpson, don’t you!”
“I said, shut up.”
She nudges the boy, teasing the poor Hufflepuff who’s now trying to bury his head under his arm, hiding his face that is as red as a tomato. In no time the two strangers become close. Funny how one fortuitous action could bring the two close in no time. It was as if they’ve been friends for years.
And the sight wasn’t left unnoticed by a pair of jealous eyes.
George chews on his lower lip with anxiety. He’s never seen her grow close with someone as fast as this, not even with Lee who has been their fourth wheel for years. What is it about Diggory that seems to be such a magnet for girls? Was it his pretty face? His humour perhaps? Surely he couldn’t have better jokes than the prankster of the castle.
The redhead’s bubble of thought burst as a crumpled paper hit his head. He turned to the direction where it came, seeing his twin who’s gesturing him to open it. With a huff, he opens the parchment paper and his frown grows even more sour.
‘Losers Weepers.’
—-
She throws her head to the back as she laughs her heart out, giving George light punches to the arms. The Gryffindor table was full of familiar faces. It has been a while since the whole squad was present. With the different year they’re in, different classes they’re taking, and evidently different teenage troubles they’re facing, spending breakfast together seems like an impossible task to do. Now that everyone’s present, she couldn’t find a reason to leave the table early.
But one.
“Hey, you.” A voice calls, greeting her with a smile as she turns to face him “Ready to go?”
“Of course!”
George’s brows were furrowed, disapproving her who’s now standing from her seat, “Where are you going?”
“Oh, Cedric and I are planning to do our Potion essays early.” She explains hastily “Also, George, you wouldn’t mind switching partners with him, would you? I kinda need his help with the upcoming assignments.”
The boy blinks, completely taken aback at the wave of information and requests she’s throwing at him.
“Brilliant!” She exclaims, taking his silence as approval “Let’s go, Ced.”
The whole table was left appalled, watching as she walked away with the Hufflepuff boy. Ginny and Hermione were audibly gasping when she linked her arms with him and he ruffles her hair, skipping out of the Great Hall happily. The sight was so peculiar they would’ve preferred seeing Dumbledore wearing a bikini than to witness the situation for the second time. The things she was doing, linking arms, laughing, and getting all jumpy was a sight they would see with George, not Cedric.
Since when were the two close?
“What’s just happened?” Harry broke the silence, blinking his eyes “What’s she doing with Cedric Diggory?”
“Didn’t you hear? They’re going to do their Potions essay.” Fred comments mockingly, knowing that his twin isn’t capable of making up for an answer “I didn’t even know we have Potions essay.”
The younger twin stabs on his innocent sausage as if trying to butcher it to its death. His eyes were vacant, feeling a silly pool of knots forming inside his stomach. To know that she prefers to do Potions essay than to spend time with her literal family at Hogwarts shows exactly where Cedric is positioned in her priority list.
Disappointed would be the most understated word he’s feeling at the moment. She has never been that close to anyone but him. He had always been the one she would drop the world for yet now he could sense that the seat was filled with others. He knew that something was going on. There’s no chance in the seven hells that they simply want to do their Potions essay early. Since when does she care about Snivellus’ classes anyway? Yet the realisation only further stomps him, making him drown deeper into the pits of anguish.
“I’m sure they’re just friends, like we all are.” Hermione comments, noticing the dejected look on George’s face “There’s nothing really to be worried about, George.”
He chuckles bitterly, not looking up to see the girl, “Why would I be worried?”
The table went quiet. They all could see the sorrow bleeding out of his skin. It was common knowledge to the pack that he’s madly in love with her. In contrast to her blatant denial whenever their relationship was being questioned, George chose the more vague path of simply smiling and clinging his arms around her shoulders, showing a sign of approval but not really. As if he was waiting for her to stop denying it so he could finally shed the mask he’s been wearing all these years.
Yet it seems like he wouldn’t ever get the chance to take it off now.
“George-”
“I’ll see you guys at the field.”
The boy shoots a weak smile to the group, standing up as he picks up his satchel and exits the Great Hall. The group stares at each other, feeling the mutual sorry for the heartbroken boy. Everyone could see the quidditch robe left unconsciously on the table and yet, for the very first time, she wouldn’t be the one giving it to him later.
—-
“There’s Stimpson.” She whispered to Cedric before faking a laugh, glancing at the girl who’s just entered the Great Hall “Quick, put your hand around my waist.”
“Is that really necessary?” He comments but still does the gesture “Could she even see my hand under these giant tables?”
“Stop, Ced, you’re hurting my stomach!”
The boy chuckles, watching her fake laughter with glee, “You’re entirely something else, you know?”
She grins as she takes a bite of her toast.
The plan was in motion. The two of them have done more public display of their intimacy, indicating that a romantic affair is happening between the two without telling anyone the truth behind such actions. Cedric found the idea to be ridiculous initially, but now seeing Stimpson to be taking silent glances and frowning lightly at the sight of them together, he came to the realisation that not only is she a great actress, she’s one hell of a genius too.
Yet he couldn’t help but to notice that the green emotions were radiated not only from Stimpson but from one of the Weasley twins too. If anything, the younger twin seems to be in a different level of jealousy that everytime he looks in his direction, he would find the Gryffindor’s eyes to be throwing him daggers.
“You know,” Cedric starts, clearing his throat “As much as I’m grateful for you for this stunt, are you sure it is fine for you to be fake dating me?”
“Yeah, of course. Why do you ask?”
“Because something tells me that one of the Weasley twins is despising it.”
She frowns, turning to see the Gryffindor table where the twins usually sit. Her eyes met George’s for a brief second before he looked away, joining the conversation Lee and Fred was having. She notices from afar the light hue of grey underneath his eyes and how his smile doesn’t seem to reach his eyes, no wrinkles around it as he laughs.
Guilt starts to creep inside her. When was the last time she truly looked at him? He looks awful, despite still looking as charming as ever. She could tell that something was bothering him and she feels terrible for not knowing what caused it. She used to know everything about him like the back of her hand. How long has she been gone, really?
“Are you sure nothing’s going on between you two?” Cedric asks, breaking her train of thought “I really don’t want to be the cause of your ruined relationship.”
“What, no. Nothing’s going on between us. We’re just friends.”
“Doesn’t seem like it.” He argues with a shrug “I mean I’ve seen you two around. Even a blind man could tell that something’s going on between you two. Do you not reciprocate his feelings, is that it?”
“What feelings?”
Cedric stares at her with disbelief, a teasing smile tugged on his lips, “You’re joking.”
“Do I look like I'm joking?”
“He fancies you!” He exclaims with a nudge “Come on, surely you’re not that daft to see it.”
“George doesn’t fancy me.” She comments, looking away from the Hufflepuff boy to hide her blush “Why does everyone keep telling me that.”
“Maybe because that’s the truth.”
She glares at him before looking back down to her breakfast.
Her thoughts were running wild. Being told that George was in love with her by their group of friends has always been something of an ordinary. She never thought much of it as she figured it was just one of those friendly teasing you make within your group of friends. But now hearing it from Cedric who was the literal definition of an outsider makes her ponder if such words ever actually hold some meaning. Is it really that obvious for others that he hoards feelings for her?
“Look, all I’m saying is this fake dating goes both ways.” Cedric continues “On my end I get to make Stimpson jealous and it seems like it’s working so far. On yours, I think that it’s making one of the twins jealous. What I’m questioning is, are you up for such a consequence? Are you ready if he somehow changes his demeanour around you because of our fake relationship?”
She frowns, “George wouldn’t change just because we’re dating, fake or not.”
“Are you sure? Because it looks like he’s ready to hex me to death.”
“Positive.” She rolls her eyes at him “In fact, I’ll come over to their table now and show you that his actions would remain the same.”
“Bet you 10 galleons he wouldn’t.”
She shows a disapproving expression before standing from her seat, planting a small kiss to Cedric’s cheek before walking away from the Hufflepuff table. For some reason she could feel her heart beating faster, unsure if she’s more afraid to prove her words wrong or true. Neither of the outcomes seem to be pleasing for her. If George really has feelings for her then she wouldn’t know how she could live her life knowing that she’s hurt him with the fake dating. Yet if he doesn’t, why does she feel like she would crash and fall from the bitter truth?
“Morning, Gentlemen.” She greets the table “Saved a seat for me?”
“Aren’t you already secured one with the Hufflepuffs?”
Her smile dilutes, George’s cold tone poisoning her, “I’m still a Gryffindor, aren’t I?”
“Yeah, well maybe there’s another spot open down the right.” George continues, still not looking up to her “You can join Ron and his group of friends.”
“There’s a spot right next to you, George.”
The boy picks up his satchel, placing it in the mentioned space, “Full. Sorry.”
She blinks at his callous gesture. It’s hard to believe that such words came out of his lips, the very one person who has always showered her with affection and warmth. She could see the same appalled expression shown on Fred and Lee’s faces, who didn’t expect George to be this bitter at her. Sure they know that he’s been struggling with the new sight of the couple, but never in a million years have they expected to see George being this hard to her.
“I see.” She replies, forcing a smile now “Well, I’ll see you guys at the field then.”
“Don’t even bother coming if you’re going to be with the enemy.”
“What’s got your wand in a knot, George?!” She bursts “Why are you suddenly so cruel to me?”
“Me? Cruel?” The boy questions, this time looking up to see her with angered eyes “I’m not the one tossing their friends away for some pretty boy she’s only befriended with for weeks!”
“Toss away? I didn’t come to one of your quidditch practices and you think that I’m tossing you away?” She questions, chuckling bitterly “I’m sorry, I wasn’t aware that being friends with you meant that I couldn’t date someone I like.”
George smirks, “At least you got that part right.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“You really think that Diggory likes you?” He asks, this time standing up to tower her “You really think that someone like him would ever like someone as bland like you? You’re dense if you think that he ever likes you back.”
She let out a shuddering breath, tears starting to prick on her eyes from his harsh words. George seems to realise the weight of his words too as he blinks, facial features turning softer yet still showing the much bottled anger he’s erupting. He opens his mouth before closing it again, unable to make up words to follow his last.
“Fuck off, George.” She says with a cold tone, glaring at the boy.
Fighting her tears, she walks back to the Hufflepuff table with a broken heart. The possibility that George likes her has certainly been crossed out. The words he uttered are not the ones you said to someone you like, let alone someone you love. His words were only the reflection of his jealousy and bitterness that she’s now found someone who could appreciate her as much as he does. Well, did, as she swore not to ever befriend the red head again.
She takes the seat next to Cedric, sniffling slightly, “Kiss me.”
“What?” He questions, looking worried at her teary eyes “What happened? Are you alright?”
“Just kiss me, Ced.”
And so the boy leans in, kissing her gently on the lips. For the first time the couple finally shows intimate gestures, something more than holding hands or hugs, something that further proves that the two are indeed in a romantic relationship. The stunt was witnessed by the eyes of the Great Hall. Some were gasping in awe, some raised their brows in confusion, and two were staring at the couple with a sinking heart. One having a worse anguish than the other.
—-
She chews on her lower lip, trying to focus on the words Cedric was telling but his first sentence rang in her head like a broken record. Stimpson has finally asked him for a study date, meaning that she’s finally taken interest in him. The objective of the fake dating is achieved, there really isn’t any reason left for them to keep the act.
She should be happy that Cedric could finally get the girl he’s always been pining for, yet a bigger part of her wished that Stimpson would approach Cedric a bit later. Perhaps a few weeks from now when things between her and George were already settled. When he’s finally come to her and apologise for the hurtful words he spat on her that day. She knew that there was no way that Cedric would ever like her, it’s not like she cared about it anyway, but did he really think that she was bland? That she wasn’t worth Cedric or any guy’s time? Is she really that unattractive?
“Hey, you okay?” Cedric asks, looking worried at her now “You seem off today.”
“I’m fine.” She says with a smile, taking a sip of her butterbeer “So we should end this act, then.”
He nods lightly, “I suppose.”
“Why don’t you sound happy about it?”
“Because I know things between you and one of the Weasley twins is yet to be resolved.” He explains, taking her hand and giving it a light squeeze “I’m very sorry that with my uprising, comes your downfall with him.”
“Don’t be silly, it wasn’t your fault.” She rolls her eyes, smiling “We’ll figure something out. He’ll come around.”
No, she wasn’t sure that he'd come around. It has been weeks since their dreadful fight and George has made every effort to avoid her. She hardly ever saw him, not even at the Great Hall or the Common Room. It was as if he was a ghost that used to reside inside her brain, now gone into thin air as some beautiful myth she’s to tell to others.
But at the same time, George was there. He was still in their classes, still at quidditch practices, and every other activity that they used to do together. The fact that he hasn’t made any effort to fix their friendship hurts her. She didn’t realise that the foolish idea she proposed to Cedric would lead to such a devastating outcome.
And she too didn’t expect that their fight would make her realise that she’s in love with her own best friend.
Perhaps she was denying everyone’s question about their relationship because she was scared that the affection only flows one way. George has never approved nor denied the accusation thrown at him about them anyway and he certainly never made any effort to advance with his feelings should he ever have any in the first place. It was hard for her to tell if what others say was true about them and she didn’t want to have high hopes over something that he himself hasn’t approved of.
But now that the fight’s happened, how he blatantly says that she was bland, she knew that the words others say were mere lies. George had never liked her that way. She has always been a friend to him, nothing more. The affection he’s shown to her was nothing more than platonic and it broke her heart.
“So should we end it here? Right now?” She asks, taking a deep breath “The sooner we break up, the sooner you can woo Stimpson. Might want to be fast before she loses interest.”
Cedric smiles, nodding and standing up to give her a hug, “Thank you, and I hope you can reconcile your friendship with Weasley.”
She nods, waving goodbye to him who’s now walking out of the inn.
She let out a sigh, feeling pathetic to herself now at the corner of the Three Broomsticks. She’s lost George and now she lost Cedric too. Just how worse can her life be now?
Yet as if she’s spoken too fast, she saw her group of friends entering the inn. Fred waves at her, followed by Lee who calls for her name. George was standing not far behind them, seemingly not ready to meet her yet still follows the other two.
“Hello, stranger.” Fred greets, walking to her table “Long time no see. Where’s pretty boy?”
“Freddie,” She replies with a smile “Gone, we broke up.”
Fred’s smile fades, frowning, “I’m sorry, Love, I didn’t know.”
“Yeah, it just happened, actually.” She answers nonchalantly, turning to George this time “Supposedly you're happy now, aren’t you George?”
The boy didn’t say a word, only staring at her with an apologetic expression.
“You know what, I have to go.” She says, not wanting to spend any more minutes with his presence “I’ll see you guys around.”
And so she takes her purse and walks away from the table. She exits the inn in a hurry, not wanting to be followed by any of them. Her chest was tight and head loud. So many things running inside her mind and every one of it revolves around one particular ginger.
How could she face him now? How could she face him after their fight? He was being a jerk that day and now that they’ve broken up, it would only further feed his ego. Being right about their short lived fake relationship would be something George would wear like a badge of honour. She couldn’t care less about him being right, what bothers her is the fact that not only was he right but that she’s also the loser who hoped that her best friend was actually in love with her too.
Why couldn’t George be jealous the way Stimpson did? Why does he have to be jealous for a whole different reason? Why couldn’t he like her?
“Love, wait!”
She fastened her pace as she heard his voice calling from behind. No, she’s not ready to talk to him. Her head is still fuzzy from all the questions and self blame. Meeting him would only lead to another argument and she’s unsure if her quivering heart could survive another turbulence.
“Wait,” George says as he catches her arm, making her stop on her track “Please, I just wanted to talk.”
“Well, I don’t want to talk, George.” She says, still not looking at him “You’ve made your point and you’re right, no need to rub it on my face.”
“No, that’s not what I wanted to talk to you about. What I wanted to say is-”
“Look, I’m tired, alright? It’s been a long day and I really want to get back to my room.”
“I know, this would be fast, I promise-”
“Not now, George.”
She turns her body, ready to walk away before he grabs her wrist again and turns her.
“What?!”
Before she could complain further from his persistent action, she finds herself being kissed on the lips. She could feel how tense George’s body was, in contrast to how gentle his kiss was. His eyes were tightly shut, as if afraid to see her rejection from the abrupt action. The grip on her wrist loosen, giving her the chance to pull away and shove him off if she would want to.
George lets out a nervous sigh when he pulls away. He could see her appalled expression when he opened his eyes, his blood running cold from the possible outcome of his hasty action. Would she hate him even worse now?
“I’m sorry.” He gathers, voice barely above whisper “I- I don’t know what came into me. I just-”
She didn’t let him finish his words. She pulled him for another kiss, this time showing him how to properly kiss a girl. She pulls him close, eliminating any distance between them that seems to be growing further apart lately, He hesitantly rests his hands on her waist, showing more meaning and confidence to his action. Both of their hearts were beating wild, adrenaline pumping through their vessels as they prayed that the other party wouldn’t regret this once they breath for some air.
“We have so much to talk about.” George says in between the kisses “How is this happening?”
“Less talking,” She answers short “More kissing.”
George grins through the kisses. He now has his hands cupping her cheeks gently, giving her his most possible soft caresses. Merlin knows how much he waited and prayed for this to happen. The second guessing and self doubt now has dissipated, melting away with every peck they share. At last the denial has come to a close. Both acknowledging and embracing their long hoarded feelings for each other with glee. What was once loved and lost, have now returned, giving them the chance to properly show their devotion this time.

5 Galleons Pt. 2
Tumblr media
Pairing: Fred Wealey x Reader
Rating: E
Word Count: 4.6k
Warnings: Fluff and angst with smut in this part, slight praise kink, blowjobs, unprotected sex, PIV sex, Fred bets that he can bed you by the end of the week. Cheesy Amortentia bit. Honestly was just a brain dump of a Fred scenario I've been wanting to write.
Summary:
The Hufflepuff Princess becomes the focus of Fred Weasley’s newest dare.
---
This is posted on Tumblr combining Chapters 1+2 and Chapters 3+4 for easy reading.
Fred cursed the moment the game ended, watching all the flags around the Quidditch Pitch turn yellow in Hufflepuff's favor. McLaggen was nowhere as good of a player as Ron was, even though Fred would rather die than admit that to his own brother. It was obvious after this embarrassing game that ended 60-320. He watched McLaggen miss each Hufflepuff Bludger because he was too busy telling the rest of the team how to play. However, Fred was equally distracted, watching you zip around as Seeker as you weaved between the other players in pursuit of the Golden Snitch. He had a whole plan about how he was going to lead you back to his room under the watchful eye of McLaggen. Now in the locker room, he refrained himself for punching him out for costing Gryffindor the game and instead looked forward to relishing in being 5 galleons cheaper the next day. Fred just had to get creative. He swore he caught you staring at him while he was redoing the laces to his uniform pants before the game started, but you looked away before he could acknowledge you from across the Pitch.
Luckily, Harry kept the post-game talk brief, but Fred found it easy to slip out at the last minute to take a shower and change into clean clothes for the Hufflepuff party. He expected very little of the experience, just looking forward to seeing their famed Seeker. He descended the spiral staircase that lead to the Hufflepuff common room, sighing at the fact that it was in the basement. Earlier that day, Fred had grabbed a first year Hufflepuff and coerced him into giving Fred the common room password by offering him a free Skiving Snackbox. Fred was determined to walk into the common room unscathed and with a proud look on his face for her. He loved watching her melt into an uncharacteristically nervous mess around him. She was even changing him a little bit. Fred recalled the other day in Potions when he told her that her perfume was the only thing he could smell in the Amortentia. It wasn't a complete lie; he also smelled a faint scent of old books and grassy leather. He thought it was probably because the first time he met the Hufflepuff Princess was during a Quidditch practice in their first year and he spent the rest of his years trying to uncover her secrets. When Fred finally reached the unsuspecting barrels that hid the Hufflepuff common room, he reached the middle barrel and gave it a careful five knocks. The wall dissolved, revealing loud music and even louder cheers. Fred smiled to himself before entering the Hufflepuff common room, ready to see her.
---
You've taken a sip from something your best friend brewed, trusting her because she was the Potions professor's favorite. "It's not alcohol," she had promised, giving you a large mug of the liquid. It sure felt like Firewhiskey, giving the same warming feeling. However, instead of hiccuping or feeling sleepy like you usually did after taking sips of Firewhiskey, you felt on top of the world. It didn't help that the entire common room was chanting your name because of your winning save. Nothing could ground you in that moment, not even Fred, who sauntered through the common room doors untouched by vinegar. He immediately spotted you because you decided to stand on the middle table waving at people, a reckless thing that your friend was surely going to tease you about later. Fred could barely hide his amusement as he made his way to he table, offering you a helping hand down.
"Is this what you're like to the Hufflepuffs? Maybe I should beg for a house transfer," Fred leaned in close, moving your hair to the side. "And you let your hair down."
"It's out of pity," You bit your lip, fixated on the way Fred was showing off his forearms in his rolled up uniform shirt. "That game was absolutely terrible for Gryffindor. Here, take a sip of this."
You offered Fred the cup you were drinking from, which he took gladly. You lead him to a couch and he refused to give you your cup back. A second year Hufflepuff quickly gave you a new cup and you laughed. You could get used to this. Other people from your house came by to comment on how good the game was to Fred, who just laughed and blamed McLaggen for costing Gryffindor their spot in the finale. Others gave you raised eyebrows at Fred's arm that was thrown across your shoulders, which you didn't even notice at first. Whatever liquid your best friend had made was truly working its magic. You decided to interrogate Fred on his newfound obsession with you.
"So what's with the sudden attention?" You tilted your head back to make eye contact with Fred. He had that same amused face from earlier.
"What do you mean?" But you could tell from his eyes he knew exactly what you were talking about.
"Our entire time at Hogwarts, you've barely talked to me, but now you show interest. What are you playing at?" You squinted at him, hoping that Fred would crack. He simply took another sip of your drink coolly and shrugged.
"I'm not playing at anything. I just didn't know how to get the mighty Hufflepuff Princess to fall," You rolled at your eyes at his fixed grin. Then he dropped his voice to a whisper. "From Quidditch practice our first year, I've always wondered what it is that makes you tick."
You flinched when Fred placed a hand on your exposed thigh. You didn't realize how far your skirt was riding up. He squeezed lightly, laughing at how your stuttering again. You took a deep breath and moved his hand back to his own lap.
"That's such a lie. Everyone knows you were pining after Angelina Johnson since our first year," You said mockingly, regrettably out of your drink. You decided the let the liquid settle instead of getting more, already feeling extroverted and talkative.
"Hm. Do I sense jealousy?" Fred tilted your chin to look at him and your chest felt tight. You kept eye contact with him until you made the fatal mistake of dropping your gaze to his lips. With a swift movement that you could barely process, your lips touched his. You were emboldened by the potion. Fred quickly set down his cup, using his now free hand to cup your face. You heard an excited hum come from Fred, who pulled you into a deeper kiss. It was hungry. Desperate, even. He tasted just like the potion you both had been drinking, laced with a metallic tinge that came from an injury he sustained earlier in the Qudditch game.
"I'm jealous of nothing," You murmured against his lips, breaking the kiss. Your heart was undoubtedly racing. It felt like the entire common room went silent and still. After the kiss, you felt like the entire common room was watching you, heightening your nerves. Fred grabbed your shaking hands, pulling it around his neck. This time, he leaned in for a kiss and you unconsciously tangled your fingers into the back of his hair. The rest of the world melted away into Fred's lips. You secretly liked that he knew what he was doing, biting at your bottom lip for entrance.
"Somewhere," You said breathlessly between kisses. "More private."
Fred obliged quickly, letting you lead him up to your private prefect quarters.
---
"Who knew you were so naughty?" Fred teased as you fumbled with the keys to your room. You were the obvious choice for prefect since you've started Hogwarts and you worked towards the title for the added responsibility, but the best perk by far was your own room. Fred didn't waste time once you were able to open your door. He pinned you against the wall immediately, kissing you deeper than he did in the common room. He slid a hand between your waist, untucking your shirt from your skirt with finesse so that he could feel your curves. You were still a little tense, feeling inadequate against Fred's knowledgable hand movements. You had only done this once before with an older Ravenclaw from your Arithmancy class late last year, so luckily he was gone before the rest of the school could find out about your escapade. This time, there was no hiding from the way that you hungrily dragged Fred up the prefect stairs. You didn't care if it was out of character for you. You were having dirty thoughts about this weekend ever since Fred made his bet and said he could only smell your perfume in the Amortentia. Your fingers quickly worked to unbutton his white uniform top, earning a smile from Fred against your kiss. You rid him of his shirt and he tried to do the same for you, but you were in a sweater vest.
Fred groaned when you started undoing his belt, fingers grazing the top of his boxers. "Take off something," Fred pleaded, breaking the kiss so that he could watch you undress. You popped your sweater vest over your head and starting undoing your button down.
"Merlin, are you trying to kill me?" He sat back on his elbows on your bed, absolutely reeling from the fact that you had forgone a bra.
"I forgot to put one on after the game," You said softly, stepping out of your skirt. You met Fred at your bed, giving him a kiss before taking his pants all the way off. You pushed his legs all the way on to the bed, climbing in between his thighs. Fred watched bewitched at the sight of you about to go down on him. You gave him a smirk before reaching down to his hard cock, giving it a few pumps while leaning up to kiss him. He groaned in satisfaction and could barely contain himself when you kissed down his neck to his naval, finally placing a kiss on his sensitive head. You made sure to look up at him before you grazed your tongue along his shaft, making him jump a bit. You proceeded taking his length into your mouth, hollowing out your cheeks and letting your tongue loosen.
"If only they could see you now," Fred said breathlessly, bunching your hair up out of your face. "The perfect Hufflepuff Princess in all- Fuck- All her glory. You look so pretty with your mouth around my cock."
You moaned at his praise and decided that you needed release of your own, but your moaning only encouraged Fred to push your head down deeper, giving a satisfying moan himself. You came off Fred with a pop, choking from the lack of air. Fred, his hand still in your hair, pulled you up for a kiss before flipping you on your back.
"Tell me if you want to stop," Fred whispered, dragging his nose across your cheek. You cherished his caring tone, his usual flirty playboy persona melting into the air around the two of you,
"Fred, I... I want- Fuck... No. I need you," You begged, dragging your hands down his chest. He grinned, tracing two fingers across your folds, sighing happily from how wet you were.
"Oh, I can tell. I just like listening to you beg," Fred smirked, teasing your entrance. You squirmed at the thought of relief just seconds away.
"Please," You slurred, pulling on his hair so that he would lean down to kiss you. You cursed his patience, but finally he leaned in with a thrust that made your back arch. "Oh my God."
Your whimpering only encouraged Fred's rhythmic thrusts. You could barely let out the words faster, harder before he met your demands. Your release built up faster as he continued to comment on how beautiful you looked under him. Fred's arms were planted strongly at the sides of your head, with a steady gaze on your pleasure.
"You take me so well. Look at me. I want you to look at me while you cum," Your eyes had drifted shut in order to fully feel Fred's unforgiving stretching of your entrance, but he used a free hand to grab your face to make sure you were looking at him. He leaned back slightly, changing the angle that he was fucking you at, hitting a different spot that made you moan so loud you forgot that there was a party happening downstairs. Fred used his other hand to reach down between your legs, rubbing slowly and softly, sending you into a frenzy. You could barely breathe and you surrendered any reservations about being quiet as you came around his cock. Fred groaned, dropping his body onto yours, burying his face into the crook of your neck and placing kisses on the sensitive skin.
"Fred," You choked out, winded from your orgasm. "I want you to fill me up."
Fred let out a string of curses at your vulgarness and with a thrust that was deeper than the others, he came in you and collapsed besides you, a panting and sweaty mess. He leaned up on one elbow, relishing in how messy you looked because of him.
"Here, I'll clean you up," Fred said delicately, rushing over to your washbasin with one of your facecloths. He offered you your clothes back, but you simply rolled over and enjoyed the moment. Fred climbed into bed with you, surprising you when he pulled you into his chest. He continued to comment on how beautiful you were as he stroked your hair, lulling you to sleep.
。゚★: *.✦ .* :★.
You woke up, hazy from the light filtering through your curtains. You jolted awake when you realized that you weren't wearing any clothes except for a button down that was way too big for you. Fred was gone, but left a soft dent in your bed that told you that he had left rather recently. Checking the time, you saw that breakfast wouldn't open for another hour, but you decided that it was probably best to check on the state of the common room after last night. You changed into a new set of clothes, kicking aside the haphazardly strewn garments from last night into a pile that you would deal with later. You realized with a frown that Fred had only left his shirt and not a note or anything of the sort.
When you descended the stairs, you wish you weren't chosen as prefect. The rest of the house seemed to have had a night like yours, your fellow housemates asleep on any flat surface possible. You slowly made your rounds to wake people up so that they could go back to their rooms just in case Professor Sprout wanted to make a surprise Saturday visit. Afterwards, you basked in the stillness of the room, choosing to skip breakfast in favor of a leftover pumpkin pasty that someone had stolen a tray of from the kitchen next door. You cringed at the thought of having to talk to Fred now. What could you possibly say? Hopefully he'd find something witty to say first, diffusing the tension. You shook your head and leaned back into the couch deciding to put these thoughts in the same pile of clothes on your floor to worry about later.
---
Once it reached nightfall, you realized you successfully but accidentally avoided Fred and any other suspecting gossip from the school. You spent the day preoccupied with following your best friend around Hogsmeade, who was in pursuit of various potion ingredients and details of last night. You kept her at bay by telling her that you'd reveal everything once you returned to your rooms for the night because you were worried about any eavesdroppers. By the time you returned for dinner, you were exhausted. The minute you took the side of the table that faced the Gryffindors, you felt silly for putting this much effort in hopes of simply catching a glimpse of Fred. You noticed that he was sitting at a different part of the table with most of the Quidditch team instead of Harry, Ron, and Hermione. It also looked like he was getting a lecture from George, but his new seat was mostly blocked by the Slytherins that sat in front of them.
Halfway through dinner, the twins and Cormac McLaggen left the Great Hall with devious looks on their faces. Your best friend spent the next few minutes persuading you into following them so you could talk to Fred. With a sigh, you went out the same double doors that Fred cornered you in just a few days ago and began to look for Fred. He couldn't have gone back to his room. This would be the most inefficient way to get there. You rounded the corner before stopping dead in your tracks and ducking behind a pillar. The twins and McLaggen stood in the middle of the cloister, laughing hysterically.
"Alright, pay up," Fred laughed, holding his hand out towards McLaggen, who groaned before digging into the pocket of his robes.
"What if I don't believe you? George?" McLaggen pressed, bouncing a pouch of coins in his hands. George held up his hands in defense.
"That was a solo adventure for Fred. Though through twin ESP, I can assure you he's not lying," George laughed, giving his brother a pat on the shoulder. You were incredibly confused, mind racing with possibilities about what they were talking about. It was the same feeling as when Fred kissed you, but much more sinister.
You felt like you were going to be sick.
"It really wasn't as much of a challenge as you thought, McLaggen, I think I'm just simply better than you. It was easy. She's all soft under that uppity exterior," Fred gloated. "She folded within minutes." Fred had on a look that you could only describe as a leer and was brought back to reality when George smacked him on the chest and told him that he shouldn't be talking about girls like that. With that, you were stunned, barely able to process the entire conversation. Really, it felt like you had been casted with Petrificus Totalus and you forgot how to breathe. You watched McLaggen curse under his breath and hand over five galleons to Fred.
With each clink of the coin, you felt your face get hotter and eyes get wetter. You softly cast the Disillusionment charm over yourself so that you could run back to your room undetected, tears falling without remorse. You only made it to the mermaid fountain in Central Hall before collapsing, forgetting to breathe after leaving the walkway. You cursed yourself for stopping here out of all places, refusing to look at the library. You were relieved that the study period for the night hadn't started yet, but there was a greater sense of loneliness in the usually bustling hall now more than ever. You desperately tried to put yourself together, not wanting anyone - but mostly your fellow housemates - to see you like this. You decided to salvage any reputation you had left by quickly drying your tears and finding solitude in your room.
---
"C'mon, you've never skipped class. I don't think Professor Flitwick will give you detention but I also don't think you want to find out," Your best friend coaxed you out of bed. All you could do was turn in your bed so that you would face the wall instead of her.
"No. Fred is in that class," You said dejectedly, knowing that she was right. Flitwick was your favorite teacher and you his favorite student, but you couldn't bear the thought of looking at Fred after what happened on Saturday. You were grateful that there were no prefect duties to attend to at all yesterday, deciding that the best course of action was to lock yourself in your room all day and "get a head start on the next week." Your best friend slipped you some food that she nabbed from the Great Hall and fortunately, did not press any further. You told her yesterday that nothing happened between you and Fred. You've never felt more embarrassed in your life and saying the words out loud would only mean that it were true. With a great sigh, you ripped off your blankets and decided to get ready for the day, unable to come up with a good excuse for missing Charms.
You played nervously with the end of your braid while walking to the Charms classroom, wishing you had did another hairstyle. It was soothing for you to do up your hair, but in your distracted state, the intricate design was lost and you just felt messy. You still managed to get to Charms class a little early, hoping to ask the professor a question you encountered in your studies last night. You also hoped that this meant you could get a seat in the front of the class quickly.
You were surprised to have spotted Fred sitting uncharacteristically by the wall in front of class and all you could hear above the sound of your heart pounding in your ears was the clinking of the Galleons. Before you could decide to give up on classes for the day and run back to your room, Fred waved at you and got up quickly to meet you. You closed your eyes and took a deep breath, warding off any feelings of crying.
"Hey, I missed you this weekend," Fred grinned, which only made you clutch your books harder. His expression turned quizzical when he realized you refused to meet his gaze.
"How unfortunate," Your said softly, voice shaking. It wasn't in your nature to ignore him and honestly you didn't know how without appearing rude. Ha. How could you worry about being rude to Fred Weasley when the only reason he was talking to you was to try to win some cheap bet with his friends. Your anxiety immediately turned into a sour anger when you realized this, trying to move around Fred into the classroom. He grabbed you by the waist and swiftly pinned you to the wall, just like he did the night before, making you yelp.
"What? That bad? I thought you had a rather good time," Fred said cheekily, clearly not understanding the issue. You decided to look the beast in the eye, which was a fatal mistake. Every emotion that you kept bottled up over the weekend threatened to spill out
"I think it's best if we just get along with our lives, okay?" You said, hoping that you were giving him an out from the whole situation. You literally bit your tongue in order to avoid saying anything else. Fred looked at you bewilderedly and released his hand around your waist, causing you to bolt towards the classroom.
"Hey, wait! Wait, what's wrong?" Fred grabbed you by the arm before you could really get anywhere and you could barely hold back your tears from his sincerely concerned voice. Determined not to cry in front of him, you took another deep breath. You couldn't believe you were in this situation, frustrated above all. Fred couldn't possibly be concerned about you. You were just a game to him. A mere five galleons. The churning in your stomach and tears welling in your eyes dispelled itself as word vomit.
"Look I know, okay? I know why you started talking to me. I know why you made that silly... bet with me," You spit, yanking your arm out of his grasp. "I tried to go talk to you on Saturday night after dinner and I saw it all. You, George, McLaggen. The whole thing. You know what, fuck you, Fred. You don't have to deal with my 'uppity exterior' anymore, okay? I don't want you to. You're a slag. I don't ever want to talk to you again."
At this point, the hallway was filling up with students on their way to class, so many of your classmates definitely saw you shove Fred in the chest so hard that he stumbled backwards into the wall. Surprisingly, you didn't cry at all, but instead, your mouth stayed with a sour taste that you thought would resolve itself if you gave Fred a piece of your mind. Leaving him stunned, you wiped a little bit of blood off your mouth from biting your lip so hard and ducked into the Charms classroom.
---
Much to your mortification, your best friend and the rest of the Hufflepuff table was buzzing about your confrontation with Fred. The lunch break never felt so long. People congratulated you for showing him up without caring about the reason why. This time, you sat in your usual seat with your back to the Gryffindor tables. Your best friend couldn't contain her curiosity and set aside her courtesy from before, demanding to know what happened to warrant such a reaction. You promised her that you would tell her later. Luckily, you had a free period during this time and could hide from all the whispers in the hall. If you had to hear "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" one more time, you were going to hex somebody. You decided to leave the Great Hall early, feeling increasingly uncomfortable with the amount of attention you were receiving. You barely made it passed the second set of doors to the Great Hall when someone called your name. You turned around, knowing exactly who it was.
"Fred, it hasn't even been six hours. I meant it when I said I don't ever want to speak to you again," You kept walking forward, refusing to give him the satisfaction. Fred quickly moved in front of you, physically stopping you between himself and the house points hourglasses.
"Well, you're not doing a very good job at it," Fred retorted humorously. Maybe you should just hex him, you thought. "Okay, bad joke. Look, I want to explain myself. You deserve an explanation."
"I- Whatever, make it quick," You thought that if you let him say what he wanted, he would leave you alone afterwards. "You've embarrassed me enough."
"It really wasn't my intention. I... I sincerely apologize for treating you the way I did. It was a sleazy thing to do. I wasn't thinking and I let my pride get before knowing you. I- I'm sorry," Fred looked at you with such a definitiveness that it sent a shiver down your spine. You cursed your softhearted nature. You couldn't just forgive him like this. You folded your arms because looking at his vulnerability made you want to pull him into a hug.
"I think the worst part is I believed you. I believed that you actually liked me. I can't even look at you without feeling humiliated. Did you fake that whole show in potions too?," You said as coolly as possible.
"Actually like you? I... Look, I- I do. I actually do like you. Ever since that day I met you on the Quidditch Pitch. I've been an ass but that part is real. I didn't do the bet to make a point, but because I actually wanted to. I really did smell your perfume that day in the Amortentia. You drive me crazy. I-"
"Please don't say 'actually' or 'really' again. They're starting not to sound like words," You joked gently. Fred laughed in relief and cupped the side of your face, softly stroking your cheek.
"Are you still mad at me?" Fred pulled you in a little bit closer, easing you into a hug.
"Just a little bit. But you can make it up to me later," You said, happily inhaling his cologne.
"Oh, later?" Fred pulled away to give you his signature goofy grin, only for you to smack his chest and say something not-so clever about his dirty mind.

no longer mine. [g.w. x reader]
Tumblr media
a/n: sorry i just felt really angsty and needed an outlet and sorry again for the slight angelina slander but it's not really slander is it?
dressed in a black suit and tie, he looked as beautiful as the night he claimed himself to be yours. his once-long hair was now trimmed neatly, slicked back with gel.
he was waiting down the aisle, eyes shimmering expectantly.
but not for you.
you, who was seated amidst the crowd of wedding guests, a mere name in the guest list. a whisper of his past, a bygone age. he was once yours to love, to hold, to kiss, to cuddle and just, be.
that beautiful boy who grew up to be an even more beautiful man written by the finest littérateurs, in the finest ink.
you once counted down for the day you'd see him in a suit and tie, where he'd wait for you who'd be dressed in all white.
the gods gave you what you wished for; he was delectable in that ensemble, really. even as the nervousness he tried to keep at bay slowly seeped through, he still has this air of composure to him; a coolness you once had the privilege of calling yours.
and so, as the quartet played the wedding piece, you wondered where you'd gone wrong; why you weren't the one wearing the white gown. you continued to observe as he straightened his suit for the umpteenth time that evening, leaning over to his father, arthur and whispering a few things in the man's ear.
then, the doors flew open. songbirds that had been conjured up by precise spell work flew into the room, then coalesced with the bouquets of flowers, disappearing into thin air. their twitters and chirps that sounded like glockenspiels being struck still remained, echoing and harmonising with the quartet.
she walked in.
she who must be the luckiest woman in the world.
in all white, she put the moon to shame. even as the candelabrums stood dignified, burning with importance and decorum, she outdid them.
with a gown dotted with rhinestones that glimmered without needing a light source, and silky hair that flowed in the evening breeze, she spelled out perfection without having to use any vowels and consonants; all she needed was to flash a smile and laugh.
angelina johnson cascaded down the aisle with her train of periwinkle behind her. eyes were all on her, and hers peered through the veil at the man whose last name would soon be hers.
that last name you'd sworn was going to be yours.
bitterness soon bubbled inside you, as she finally reach him. good for her.
"do you, angelina johnson, take george fabian weasley to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
i object.
"and do you, george fabian wealey, take angelina johnson to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"i do."
don't.
think of the nights we'd spent at the astronomy tower, poring over the endless revised editions of this and that. think of the candles we'd burnt through, the wax seeping into our robes, but we didn't care.
think of the nights we'd spent running away from the awful squib, just to dance in the corridors without a care in the world. think of the afternoons by the great lake trying to dry ourselves off the muggle way, but we ended up smelling like the giant squid instead.
think of all the beautiful hogsmeade weekends we'd wasted away in the common room because you just wanted to be in my arms.
think of the evenings we spent at the matron's dabbing away at quidditch wounds and naming all your scars and bruises. this one "billy", that one "fred" because it really did look like him.
where had it all gone? where had that boy gone; washed away by the war and found by the shore of the light side, earless and cold but still so painfully wonderful.
were you not mine? were you not mine to vow separation only by death to? was i not the one you'd promise to marry after the war?
and as you felt your breath hitch in your throat, the crowd cheered.
and that was it, as they wrapped their arms hungrily around each other, lips meeting, tying their bonds and changing her last name to his. that was the very second you knew he flipped over your chapter and burnt the pages. he rewrote over your stanzas written in fourth year that stretched all the way to the seventh and doused them in kerosene, setting it all ablaze.
and it was at that moment you swore you saw his eyes meet with yours from behind her; serving as a reminder of the distance between the two of you as he stood in the aisle, and you seated on the benches.
that man was no longer yours to call "mine".

MAYBE
― fred hopes that maybe one day he can change y/n's view about love
Tumblr media
❬ DIVORCE ❭
main masterlist
Growing up wasn't really easy for y/n especially with her parents, all day and night all she could hear was screaming and shouting coming out from the kitchen or their room, especially on one particular day where her mother had caught her father out with another woman all she could hear that day was just screaming and crying coming from her parents, she watches her father crying throughout the whole day cursing at himself and also watching her mother at the same state as her father promising to herself she would never love again, that's when y/n knew
love doesn't exist
time passed by and she was now a fifth year at hogwarts even the school was buzzing of the news that serius black have escaped from azkaban and was now roaming around freely
she could sense it has something to do with potter it was quite obvious well at least it was for her she doesn't know if the others notice
she could really care less if black was coming for potter or not since she really doesn't interact with him nor does she wants to
y/n signs as she saw a certain gingerhead running at her direction
"hey doll how are you?" fred asked her as he lean against the wall with a smug look in his face
"perfectly fine but even if i wasn't it has nothing to do with you" y/n replied bluntly ready to walk away from him
"don't be like that of course it has something to do with me i can't handle the thought of my beloved being all gloomy plus we don't want you to grow like snape now do we?"
"why are you doing this?" y/n said pinching the bridge of her nose
"well that's because i love you my dear" fred announced proudly
"ok" y/n said coldly while finally walking away
fred have been bothering y/n for some time now with his so called love for her
sometimes y/n wonder if his claims were true, if he really "loved her" but most importantly sometimes she even ask her self if she "loves" him back but she always ignore her thoughts besides
love doesn't exist.
Fred could only stare at her back, fred first saw her in their first year of hogwarts she fancied the girl ever since he first laid eyes on her, he thought it was only a small thing until they reach third year
it was like any normal day y/n studying in the library while fred admire her from afar
then it hit him he didn't fancy her
he loved her
he knows his chances on her were low but still, at least there's a chance
y/n was well known in hogwarts in fact she was quite really popular
she was a cunning, talented, and bright young witch not to mention beautiful
but besides all that she was cold, quiet, and blunt she always seemed to distance away from everyone
when someone comes to talk and start a conversation with her, she would only reply with 3 or 4 words to them or just simply walk away
she was always seen reading a book by herself or just sketching something in the black lake
it's as if she built a wall of ice around her heart
fred hope someday maybe he can melt that ice
● this fanfic is highly inspired by the song only exception by paramore
● none of the characters use in this story originated from me

Candy Bar [George Weasley]
Tumblr media
Pairing: George Weasley [HP] x reader [any house]
Summary: George always knew [y/n] was going to end up being part of his family, he just never wondered how.
Warnings: sexual insinuation, but nothing too explicit.
a/n: this ends a little bit sad, but open, so I might write a part 2 (no promises though).
harry potter universe masterlist
George Weasley was part of a selected big group of friends, with its honorary members being Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and his little brother Ron.
The lads weren't official members because of the age gap — it was rare the moments where they could hang mid-classes. But it didn't bother Fred, Lee and Angelina to have the little guys around.
There was another girl too, who George saw as much more of an official member than an honorary one. [y/n] [y/ln] was younger than him but older than his little brother — she was from the year between the two. They became friends entirely by accident — she got caught up on a prank not intended for her and after a not-so-much friendly match of Quidditch where she played gracefully and not at all vengeful, the twins talked her into being part of the friend group.
One could've said [y/n] was the one most out of the group, but, surprisingly, she managed well around them. She became very close to Angelina, and she had openly called Fred her very best mate once. Even when Potter was around, she never acted as a “fangirl” — and she noticeably picked Ron over Harry tons of times.
They were all together one afternoon, playing card games in the grass by the Lake when Fred had an idea: steal food from the house-elves.
[y/n] was immediately into it. “We have to be quick then because it’s almost supper time, and they’ll be all up to our arses if they catch us by that time,” she said, getting up and leaving her deck of cards to Angelina to handle.
Ron got up quickly too, ready to follow the girl wherever she went. Fred just smile. “Anyone else for our road trip?” asked the older twin.
“It’s hardly a road trip,” opined Angelina, before winning against Hermione and starting the game again.
Since no one else got up, the three left. George and Lee drew closer to the two girls left, anxious to see if Hermione could beat Angelina, but chances were the Quidditch player was going to win again.
“Has anyone noticed Ron’s fancying [y/n]?” asked Hermione, who had smelled it in the air, way before anyone else, but she just wanted to be sure her mind wasn’t playing tricks.
Lee snorted at the question, trying not to shame-laugh. He hadn’t only noticed Ron’s crush — he noticed Hermione’s too. Angelina simply smiled and kept playing the card game, but George spoke up.
“I dunno how it ends, but [y/n] will for sure be part of my fam,” he said, laughing it off.
“How so?” asked Hermione, tensing up a bit, which allowed Angelina some advantage in the game.
“Well, Ron fancies her; she fancies Fred and Fred…. well, I reckon that bloke hasn’t pashed anyone, that’s for sure,” George replied. “Either Fred falls for her or she falls for Ron, but she’ll end up a Weasley, alright.”
Lee elbowed the redheaded.
“She’ll end up your sister,” he laughed.
“In-law,” added George, suddenly wanting to make sure [y/n] was not blood-related to him.
Angelina and Lee exchanged knowing looks, but Hermione and George were oblivious to the exchange. George was inside his wee world, thinking why it bothered him to acknowledge [y/n] as a sister, and Hermione was wishful thinking that Fred could bloody well fancy [y/n] right away.
The match went on, with Angelina winning that turn and then Lee taking Hermione’s place and losing too — the difference was Lee didn’t care and laughed his loss away. George wanted to play too, but when his turn finally came, Fred, Ron and [y/n] arrived with the stolen food.
“Hey, I wanna go back to my match,” said [y/n], sitting down next to Angelina, who remained unbeatable. “Who’s the winner?”
“Who would you reckon?” replied Lee, smiling. [y/n] liked his smirk, it felt sparkling in the twilight.
“Angie,” [y/n] smiled too as she spoke.
“No worries — I’ve been playing non-stop and George hasn’t had his turn,” Angelina said, moving away from the card pile. “Take my place,” offered the Quidditch chaser.
[y/n] took the offer, and looked straight at George. He had a playful smile, which only increased when he reached the pile and started shuffling the cards for the new game.
In the background, George heard Ron asking Hermione if Harry showed up, and the bookworm replied with a “no”. The younger twin wasn’t facing Ron, but he could visualize the frown on his face. Harry Potter was chosen to be a Triwizard champion, which meant he was generally never free and around — but also, his friendship with Ron was a bit rocky at the moment.
George reverted his focus on [y/n].
“Get ready to eat grass, Weasley,” the girl said.
“We’ll see,” responded George, feeling his grin widen.
[y/n] was late, which meant Fred and George were late too. They planned a quick trip to Hogsmeade, but they were going “illegally” and if [y/n] took a minute longer to get ready, Fred swore he was gonna leave her behind.
“I’m here!” she whispered and shouted, at the same time. George wondered how she managed that.
“You’re late,” the younger twin said, messing with her.
“Just five minutes,” she pointed out, checking her wristwatch.
“Could well mean the difference between getting caught,” George continued.
“Stop, you two,” said Fred, but he knew very well all the bickering came from his twin. George hadn’t found his way around flirting women, and it showed — Fred knew he had to do something about it, but it’d need to be later. At the moment, he only sought to get to Hogsmeade.
“She started it,” said George, defending himself.
“How could I?” she inquired, startled.
“By showing up late,” he answered, frowning his brows.
Fred rolled his eyes and decided not to meddle. They could figure it out for themselves. The older twin, then, took the front of the little voyage group and led them to the secret passageway. The trio went through that one-eyed old crone’s hump, and soon they were in the dark corridor that would lead them away from Hogwarts.
Fred and George had to lean their backs, so they wouldn’t smack their heads, but [y/n] could go most of the way just fine and stretch. She had been there three times before, but it was never easy being in that dim and smelly place.
She didn’t even notice when she edged nearer George Weasley until he offered her his arm. Furthermore, she looked at it, suspiciously, before accepting.
They had a complicated relationship. They were always quarrelling, like too foolish kids that couldn’t possibly like the opposite gender. It was always stupid, but [y/n] couldn’t avoid it — it seemed so nice to bicker with George because then he would look at her sideways and provocatively grin and that usually made her smile too.
She had a thing for Fred from the first moment she learned his name. It had been some girl in her class had been ranking the most handsome blokes of Hogwarts, and when [y/n] asked who was Fred Weasley and why he was in twenty-second place, her classmate smiled and asked: “Why? Do you think he should be higher up?”. [y/n] didn’t think that, of course. At eleven years of age, she barely thought of boys that way, especially the ones one year older, who seemed so much more mature back then. But later she was engrossed in one of the twins’ pranks, and Fred presented himself.
Tall, even for a twelve-year-old, and with beautiful freckles in his cheeks — [y/n] didn’t need much more thinking; she knew she had become a woman, and she was ready to have that man.
They became friends later on, and even though [y/n] never made advances towards Fred, she never tried to stop fancying him either. It just felt natural to have a crush, a since Fred was right there and available, she took him.
Of course, she went out with other boys, specifically last year when she had just turned fourteen, but it never felt quite right. Not even as right as studying with Hermione, not as right as relying on Ronald, and definitely not as right as bickering with George.
It felt nicer to argue with George than to kiss Oliver Wood! she remembered, in a sudden thought in the middle of the ill-lit hallway. Her expression changed, worrying George, but since she stayed in silence, he did the same.
Oliver had been [y/n]’s first kiss, and even though he was very gentle and kind — even nowadays — the only thing he taught her was that she was better off single.
“We’re almost there, I reckon,” said Fred, having to rely on his memory to keep marshalling. He didn’t regret having given Harry his map, but sometimes, he felt nostalgic for it.
The passage twisted and turned, more like the burrow of a giant rabbit than anything else. [y/n] and George followed just behind, still with their arms intertwined. George didn’t want to think what that gesture possibly meant, and he didn’t have to — they had ended up right into the cellar of Honeydukes.
“This passage remains safe, thank Merlin,” Fred thought out loud, which made [y/n] repress a laugh. She then remembered to let go of George’s arm, since she was back in the light, but her arms felt empty without his there.
They didn’t longer around Honeydukes — their plan was to go to the joke shop and get new supplies, and thenceforth go for a butterbeer in the Three Broomsticks. The candy store was barely empty, so their exit had to be a bit theatrical so no one would suspect a thing.
Zonko’s shop called the boys' attention as soon as the three of them stepped outside Honeydukes, and [y/n] had to hush to follow them. The store was striking, the girl had to give in. Its walls, covered with shelves, loaded not only with Dungbombs and Hiccough Sweets, but also Frog Spawn Soap, Sugar Quills, and Nose-Biting Teacups. No wonder the boys loved to shop there.
“So, Fred, what’s it that you guys are looking for to stock?” [y/n] leaning against the shelf that Fred was so meticulously observing.
The red-headed looked down at her for only a second and smiled.
“A bit of everything, I suppose,” he replied.
George appeared from behind [y/n] and the shelf, scaring her with a nudge. She, at least, managed not to scream. It wasn’t late yet, only twilight, but the stored seemed umbra, which gave the toys up on the shelves a different glow. Macabre, [y/n] determined.
“Never, ever, do that again, do you understand?” she threatened George, but the twin only giggled.
“Come with me, [y/l/n],” said George, eyeing the back of the corridor he was in. “You’re gonna like this.”
Fred tried really hard not to smile at his twin taking an initiative, while [y/n] followed.
George waited until [y/n] was right next to him and offered his arm again. There was really no official reason for it — even though it was starting to be dusk outside, the shop still had light enough for the girl not to feel scared, but he liked being of use.
[y/n] accepted his arm with biting of lips, suddenly feeling very nervous with the interaction. Could she like George? She wondered, innocently. He was a nice lad, for sure. He was also a tiny bit taller than Fred, and she did like tallboys. But he’s very annoying, she reminded herself. He’s always teasing you in a non-lovable way.
“Do you know Ronniekins has a devotion for you?”
George plumped the question, smirking in taunting.
“Ronniekins? Ron?” she asked, stunned.
[y/n] didn’t even bother with George’s smile. She cared for Ron, a lot since she confided in him most of the time, but if the lad was messing things up… she would need to take a stand, and she wouldn’t like it.
“Yep,” affirmed George. “He developed some sort of crush on you; I can’t speak anything in your concern without being scolded.”
“That’s nice of him,” she tried to smile, attempting to make the best out of the situation, but she just couldn’t. “Oh… But if he really does fancy me… I’ll have to say something, right? I don’t wanna lead him on.”
“To be honest, I think even if you actually stare him down and say: ‘Ronald Weasley, I do not fancy you and I don’t want to kiss you’, he will still hold on to hope,” George told her, pressing his arm against her harder. He wanted to comfort her, and he didn’t even fully comprehend why.
[y/n] was an enjoyable lassie and, even though he messed with her all the time, he liked to be around her. But did he like like being around her? Oh, Merlin… He couldn’t. His younger brother loved her, his older brother was the object of her affection. He did not want or wish to be in the middle of it. As a matter of fact, he liked to mock the situation from the outside. She’s a future sister-in-law, he told himself, but it felt wrong in his mind. She’s part of the family, he pondered again, and that phrase felt easier, which was a relief.
The girl in question watched George’s expression, as it tensed and relaxed, and she wondered if he was worried about his little brother. That’s sweet of him, she thought.
They finally stopped in front of a shelf filled with candy bars, but George remained silent and did not explain why they stopped there.
“George?” she called his attention. “What do you think I should do?”
His eyes stared down at her, thoughtfully. He truly wanted to help her, even if it meant walking her down the aisle to his twin.
“Well, you don’t fancy him, do you? I reckon it’s another brother of mine you have your eyes on,” he said, out loud this time. For some reason, he felt like he needed to know. He needed to know if she still had a thing for Fred. Or even for Ron, if the tables had turned.
[y/n] avoided George’s eyes. How could he have found out about her wee crush on Fred? She sure wasn’t being self-evident, was she?
But even so, if she were obvious, what was she supposed to answer? She most definitely was not going to confess, especially because her feelings have been shifting a lot. Fred was her best mate. Yeah, she knew they would match just fine if it were Fred to ask her out, but did she want it? Did she yearn to be Fred’s companion?
“I don’t fancy Ron, obviously,” she answered, finally, after a while pondering how to phrase her feelings. “And I don’t know what you mean about brothers of yours.”
George snorted. “Okay then.”
He decided it was for the best if he just remained quiet and did not bother her about it any longer. She didn’t want to answer, and, honestly, he didn’t wanna hear it. So he faced the shelf he had directed her towards and picked one of the candy bars.
She breathed a sigh of relief that he had dropped the previous matter, and asked: “I didn’t know Zonko’s shop sold candy.”
“Not any proper candy,” he replied. “This is a special one.”
“Really? How so?”
George gave her the candy bar, so she could analyse it, but, as he very well knew, there was nothing in its packaging that revealed its true content.
“They provoke emotions, different ones, but always strong ones,” George explained, taking back the bar from her hands. “This one, for instance, is for decisive moments. See here?” he pointed to a very small font where it could be read: “you want the courage to do what you most long to? This is for you!”
“Why would someone eat something like this?”
“Various reasons,” George shrugged before taking another candy bar from the rack. “This one is for knowledge. Suppose you have a test tomorrow — this could be your salvation.”
[y/n] took the second bar from his hands and analysed it herself. “Only if I know the test’s subjects beforehand, you mean,” she said, returning him the candy bar. “If you haven’t studied, this won’t be much help.”
“It will be some help,” said George.
“Right,” [y/n] snorted.
“Anyway, it’s practically not much of use nowadays. Professor Snape found a way to perceive it in your organism with a special potion,” he explained, but he didn’t place the bar back in its place. He held still the two candy bars and led [y/n] to the cashier.
“You know you’re buying the courage one, right?” she whispered in his ear before Fred could reach them in the cashier line.
George smiled.
“You are the one buying it,” he corrected her. “After all, you’ll need it to talk to Ron.”
[y/n] let out some air from her throat, completely frustrated. She knew she didn’t fancy Ron, at least, so she should talk to him. Perhaps the candy bar was going to be of some use.
“What are you two buying?” asked Fred, having absolutely no free space in his arms. He had a bit of everything — Dungbombs, Frog Spawn Soap, Nose-Biting Teacups and more that [y/n] wasn’t able to name.
“Magic Bars,” the girl answered, looking up to meet Fred’s eyes. It was only then she realized she still held George’s arm, so she instantly let it go — but not before Fred couldn’t notice.
“Oh, so you can be brave enough to break up with Ronniekins?” asked Fred, smirking.
The girl looked shocked. “Oh, come on! Everyone knew?”
The twins only laugh it out.
Knowing that Ron was going to arrive at any moment at the Three Broomsticks with the rest of the gang, [y/n] popped the candy bar and ate it all at once, only stopping for a sip of butterbeer to make it all easier to let out. George watched, surprised, but offered his own comment: “I don’t think you needed to have eaten it all.”
She sniffed. “Could have informed me that earlier, couldn’t you?”
Fred just smirked, amused with the scenario. He took the opportunity to corner his twin when going to get more butterbeers at the counter, leaving [y/n] alone on the table.
“So… now that she’s breaking up with Ron, when are you gonna tell her you fancy her?”
George’s eyes widened, staring at his twin with disbelief.
“What? You’re gonna pretend you don’t like the lass?”
“[y/n]’s a friend,” George answered, sharply.
“Right…”
They ordered the butterbeers and waited, avoiding staring at each other. Fred didn’t want to keep laughing at his twin, and George didn’t want to confess something he wasn’t entirely sure.
Could he fancy [y/n]? No, he answered mentally. She fancied Fred, and he always promised not to come between his twin’s girls. Because, if ever [y/n] decided to hit on Fred, he knew his twin wasn’t going to be able to resist. She was just like that, and she never even noticed — if she wanted a guy, she’d have him. And the day she’d claim Fred would come, and George would be left to watch the two love birds.
“Seriously, now,” started Fred, handing the butterbeers, “why don’t to come clean with her?”
George sighed. “I have nothing to clean. Do I like her? Yes. Do I think she’s pretty? Yep. But we’re better off as mates, or better saying, bickering mates,” answered him, finally.
Fred decided to say nothing more. George would eventually realize on his own that he like [y/n] and, when that day arrived, Fred could finally beam saying “told you so”.
They sat back at their places, noticing the small crowd on their table. Ron, Hermione, Angelina, Lee and (the big surprise of the night) Harry Potter had arrived, and they were talking jubilantly about the upcoming ball they had been hearing whispers about.
George sat between [y/n] and Ron purposefully, and [y/n] sighed in relief while staring at George.
“Hasn't it had any effect yet?” asked George, referring to the candy. [y/n] just shook her head. “It will happen soon.”
She wished he was right.
The two of them got caught up on the table talk, adding their own remarks and desires for the party. [y/n] didn’t add much too aloud, though — she was afraid Ron could say something about them going together.
Suddenly, she felt a kick inside her. The candy bar! she thought, anxiously. She stared at Ron from behind George and gesture for them to go out. She needed to say it, once and for all.
George watched as the two of them left, but he didn’t make a comment.
“So much for [y/n] marrying Fred…” Lee said aloud.
“Me?” asked Fred, confused and frowning. Lee laughed and Angelina tried to ease Fred, mostly for [y/n]’s sake, then for the red haired’s.
George kept staring at the door as if wishing the conversation ran out faster if he did so. Lee nudged George.
“Is she kissing him?”
“Ew, no,” George replied. “She wanted to talk him out of his feelings,” he continued. “She even ingested one of the Magic Bars for courage.”
“Those are never a good idea,” said Hermione, meddling.
“Why?” asked Lee, genuinely curious. He often liked those candy bars.
“Well, it gives you the kicks to do what you most long for. Not necessarily a good thing if what you most long for is to kill someone, for instance,” she explained. Hermione, then, shrugged, knowing [y/n] was not about to kill Ron, but suggesting that what she most longed for might not be “end things” with Ron.
George pondered Hermione’s words. What could be the thing [y/n] most ached for, and could the magical candy bar really help?
He had no more time to think as the door from the Three Broomsticks opened once again, but only Ron came in. He had some of a tired look on his face, and that worried George. Not for his younger brother, but for [y/n].
George got up and left, leaving a confused Lee behind. Angelina and Fred exchanged looks before smirking — both sharing a secret of what had happened.
“Never again make me ingest one of those bars, are you hearing me?” [y/n] said as soon as she faced George, in on dark space between Three Broomstick and the next store next to it.
“What happened?” George asked, stupefied.
“Nothing, of course, and how could it? With Ron?” she laughed it off. “I just told him something about him being the little brother I never had and how I saw him grow up so fast. He understood the message.”
George waited, but she said nothing more. “So, what’s the matter?”
“I want to be touched, Georgie!” she exclaimed, surprising herself. She covered her mouth, a little too late, but it was the least she could. Had she really told George she wanted to be touched? Had he understood the length of her words?
George froze, giving [y/n] the time to gather her thoughts. He looked very handsome in the half-light coming from the establishment next door, and [y/n] enumerated how many freckles he had on his face. There were more than Fred’s, and George’s were more intensely gathered on his nose. The twin noted the girl’s fierce inspection and cleared his throat.
“What are you doing?” he asked, his tone almost gruff as he felt completely exposed in the dim light of the Hogsmeade night.
“I’m counting your freckles,” she replied truthfully. It wasn’t the candy effect — she really wanted to be honest, because that was how she was around George. [y/n] never thought before talking when she was with the younger Weasley twin, unlike when she was around Fred or even Oliver Wood.
“Why?” George questioned in a whisper. It was like he was afraid to speak.
“Because…” [y/n] didn’t have a “why”. She wanted to, so she counted. She wanted to come closer to him, so she did. Moreover, she longed for his touch, and that terrified her. “I wanna kiss you.”
Her voice was barely a whisper, but it felt very loud in both of their ears.
What? George wanted to ask, but he wasn’t able to mould a coherent phrase. Instead, he leaned closer. If she wanted to kiss him, he would let her. He had thought it before: the man she desired, she would get.
“George?” she asked, forcing him to open his eyes once again. “I won’t kiss you unless you say you want to kiss me too.”
“I thought you were desperate to be touched,” George played, smirking a little.
“Desperate? I didn’t say that” [y/n] smiled too.
“Kiss me, [y/n],” he said, the smirk disappearing.
She took one last deep breath and pressed her lips against his. It felt sweet at first, but then it was something different, something [y/n] could not find words to describe, perhaps spicy could be a great word, but it wouldn’t delineate it completely. There was more, always more, and when [y/n] opened her mouth waiting for his advance, she was impressed to feel him eager.
Their kiss deepened, it became something of its own, essentially when George’s arms took her whole body in, tugging, hugging, caressing her. She did the same with her hands, searching for his red curls, and pulling him in by the neck.
“George, touch me,” [y/n] yearned.
“I… I…” George couldn’t find the words, neither to say yes nor no.
He kept pulling her, closer and closer, but it wasn’t enough. He finally understood her, understood what she longed for because he longed for the same. To touch her, on her very core. But he couldn’t.
“We shouldn’t, [y/n],” he said, sorrowfully. “I shouldn’t.”
“Fine,” she whispered, leaning over his ear. “But I should.”
Her hands left his neck and wandered towards his trousers, finding the confirmation of his deepest desires. Oh, he hankered to touch her, too. He only lacked what the candy bar gave [y/n]: fearlessness.
He held her hand before she pressed him even tighter.
“Are you sure of what you’re doing?” he asked. “You’re probably intoxicated.”
“Intoxicated?” she stepped back. He didn’t trust her. He didn’t believe her. “Why? Because I would rather be with Fred, you reckon? Oh, yeah, you know so much about me!”
She took more steps away from him, and looked back, finding him with a disturbed expression on his face.
“If I wanted to be with Fred, I would’ve found a way to drag him here,” she said, confidently but also angry. “But it was you who came to me, and yes, I might’ve been the one to kiss you, but only because you told me to.”
“[y/n]! I… I just don’t think you wanted to… in the middle of Hogsmeade,” he shouted back, feeling the first raindrop fall over his nose. “Because don’t turn this on me! I’ll allow you to touch me anywhere you’d like, any day, even! You longed to be touched, but I’ve been longing to be touched by you!”
His words weren’t only an astonishment to her, but to him too. George didn’t know he had been thinking about her that way until she touched him — until he felt the taste of her lips.
[y/n] made a quick decision: she left. She turned her back, feeling raindrops start to fall all over her, but she didn’t bother and kept walking away, towards Honeydukes.
George watched as she went, and he was frozen, even in the rain. It was Fred who found him, all soaked.
“What happened?” Fred asked, but his twin did not answer. “I knew I should have taught you better how to hit on girls.”
George, paralysed, only moved his lips. “She left me,” he finally said. “In the rain, all alone.”
Fred breathed. “Let’s go back to Hogwarts; she’s not going to get back here.”
George followed, but he remained emotionless.

A/N: barely edited on 3/29/21 for accuracy.
You were so excited for the summer this year. Normally you hate going home, but this year you get to spend it with your boyfriend. Your parents aren't normally nice to you, so when George told you that you could stay all summer you were ecstatic. All five of you walked inside the cozy home and set your trunks down. “I know it’s not much and you're going to have to sleep with me an-” you walk over to George quickly and hug him tightly “thank you,” you say into his chest. When you pull away you see a big smile on his face and can't help but smile back. He was the sweetest person you’ve ever known. “Come on then,” he said, grabbing your hand to hold in one of his, the other holding both of you’s trunks. You wave to the rest of the group as you walk up the stairs to Fred and George’s room. As room as the door opens you look at him, not able to help the huge smile that comes across your face. “I love it here,” you say “which bed is yours?”. George points to a bed and smiles. You walk over to your boyfriend’s bed and lay down, “Everything is so cozy”. George chuckled “glad you like it, love,” he said, kissing your cheek. “I don't know why you thought I wouldn't like sleeping with yall. I mean come on….. I get to snuggle with George Weasley” you laugh and he lays down with you. “You would like that huh?” he asked, wrapping you in his arms, you humming in response. “Love you” you mumbled, “love you too darling”.
You wake up to an owl squawking at your window. George could sleep through almost anything, not that he had a choice with how many siblings he has.  You get up and walk over to the window opening it for the bird. You recognized the owl, it was Oliver's. You take the letter from the bird’s beak and read who it’s for.                                 To: Fred & George. From: Oliver Wood You walk over to where your boyfriend is sleeping and smile at how peaceful he looked. You pepper George’s face with kisses, not being able to help yourself. George starts to wiggle in his sleep before he smirks with his eyes closed. You noticed, but keep on kissing him. “Nice way to wake up might I say” George opens his eyes to look at you when you stop kissing him. You rolled your eyes “Sorry” you said, trying not to blush, but feeling your cheeks burn. He chuckled “no please don't be sorry. It’s adorable honestly.” He leaned in and gave you a soft meaning full kiss before pulling away. “What’s that?” he said pointing to the letter. “Oliver wrote to you and Fred” George closed his eyes and put his hands over his face mumbling something like “goddammit Fred, fucking ass-” you pulled his hands away and could tell he was frustrated “What’s wrong?”. George looked up at you and rolled his eyes “Fred invited Oliver to play quidditch. I told him not to invite him” he groaned “It’s hard not to punch him in the face when he’s looking at you like he would take you up against the wall”. You blushed “George...he doesn’t like me like that. And even if he did I love you and only you. I'm all yours.” George nods. “Promise?” he asked “I promise”. George leaned up and kissed you softly and kissed you passionately. You kissed back, loving the feeling of his lips touching yours. You could always tell how much he cared when he kissed you. George flipped you over to where he was on top and started to kiss down your neck. You began to whimper as he sucked a mark on your skin until his hands started to tickle your sides. “AH GEORGE STOP THAT YOU T-TWAT” you screamed through your laughter. George stopped and you both laughed. “Thanks, George I was kinda getting into that before you ruined it!” he smiled “I know. I mean you should’ve seen it. You were whimpering and I could see your lip quivering, I even heard my name a couple of times,” he said, wiggling his eyebrows and you. You blushed and rolled your eyes. You look over to see Fred in the doorway with an almost scared look on his face. “Bloody hell you two, get a room”
When Oliver arrives
You and George are cuddling on the couch and watching some muggle movie when Oliver opens the door he walks in and looks you up and down. “Hello there Y/N,” he said “Hey” you responded before looking at your boyfriend to find he was already looking at you and tightening his grip on your body. “Hey y/n” Oliver tried to get your attention. You gave George a reassuring peck on the lips before looking at Oliver “Yeah?” you asked. “What's that bruise on your neck?” he asked, leaning closer to get a better look at it. “Well if you must know wood, it’s a hickey” Oliver backed up to his original spot and made a surprised face “hmm… kinda weird looking don't you think. It’s got a weird blob shape to it eh’? “. You rolled your eyes, starting to see what your boyfriend was talking about. You could feel George stiffen at his words. He tended to be confident in the moment, but self-conscious afterward. “Actually I  like them,” you say looking at Oliver “you know sometimes I wish he would do it more often to be honest with you”. Oliver looked at you like he didn’t know what to say, so you turned your attention to someone more important, your boyfriend. George leaned over to whisper in your ear “Is that true love? Cause if so… I'm sure I can make some arrangements”. George pulled back to watch your reaction. You felt your cheeks get hot and look at your hands in your lap, biting your lip “Mhm” you mumble.  George chuckles and kisses your cheek and you hear Oliver walk out of the room. “You know…” he whispered “I can't tell if seeing you flustered makes me want to fuck you into my mattress or cuddle with you, but I'm debating doing both,” he said, causing you to whimper. George kissed you on the cheeks and got up from his spot on the couch. “Well, I should go get the others so that we can plan out the whole quidditch thing,” he said. Once everyone was in the living room George and Fred spoke up “what are the teams?”. Ginny smiled “Well, I was thinking we could change our plans” she smirked. “Mom and Dad left a little while ago, so I thought we should play truth or dare”. Ron rolled his eyes “Really ginny, we aren't little kids anymore”. Ginny scoffed “Actually Ronald, you didn’t let me finish” you fought to keep in your laugh. Ron really does have a problem with cutting people off. “I was going to tell you that I have some  veritaserum,” she said grabbing a glass bottle out of her pocket, “thought we’d make the steaks higher. If you refuse a dare, or pick truth, then you have to take some” she smirked. “Oh, I'm so in,” you and George said at the same time.  George and you looked at each other and started laughing, making Oliver roll his eyes. The six of you all began to walk outside to the fire that Fred made for the game, before sitting in a circle beside it, Ginny set the bottle in the middle. “y/n” she asked “truth or dare”. You rolled your eyes and chuckled “truth”. She nodded her head and people around the circle laughed “okay. Take a drop” she gestured to the potion. You reach for the veritaserum and put a drop on your tongue. “Okay y/n” she giggles “Have you and George had sex, and if you have how good was he”. You can't stop the words from coming out of your mouth and immediately respond. “Oh yeah, a few times actually.” people around the circle laughed. “And for the second question… god yes. Don't even get me started on how good he feels,” you said “okay y/n that’s enough” but you continued “I mean god, I would be down to let him fuck me right now if you all weren't here.” Everyone in the circle starts to laugh except for Oliver and George. Oliver looked pissed and George was well smirking proudly.  “I mean he knows a lot more than he’ll tell you I ca-” Ginny cuts you off, giggling “Okay y/n, we get it,” she said, trying to catch her breath “it’s another turn,” she said and turned to George. “Truth or dare?” she asked. “Do you even know me?!” he asked, pretending to be offended. Ginny rolled her eyes “I dare you to go have 40 minutes in heaven with y/n”. George smirked and grabbed your hand, pulling you with him back into the burrow. Once you were inside George kissed you “Did the potion wear off yet?”. You nodded your head, “I think so.”. He hums “Do you touch yourself thinking about me?” he asked. You looked down at the ground and blushed. “Yep. It’s worn off,” he said and pulled you over to the couch. He lightly pushed you onto the couch and climbed on top of you. George kissed you and you wrapped your legs around his waist, feeling how hard he was. He took his lips off of yours and started trailing them down your neck, leaving marks along the way. “You’re already s-so hard” you whimpered “How could I not be? A few minutes ago you were bragging about how good I make you feel. As soon as you started talking I knew that I was going to have to take care of you later. Ginny’s a good wingman” he said, moving back up to your jawline. You whimpered at his words and the feel of his lips on your skin. “George I want you so bad. Please make me feel good” you said through your whimpers, causing his hips to buck against yours on accident. You moaned loud at the friction you’ve been needing. George smirks at your reaction, this time rolling his hips against yours on purpose. You moan louder “George! Please”. George moves his mouth up to your ear “Did you want something darling?” he asked. “Please fuck me George. I need you, all yours” you whine out. George groans “Damn right you are”. He gets off of you and starts to take off his clothes as quickly as possible, you soon follow his reactions. George moves over to the couch “come here beautiful” he said and you oblige. You get on top of him, unable to hold in your whines. You knew what was about to happen, George has fucked you like this before, It’s probably your favorite position.  Your boyfriend helped you lift your hips and aligned himself with your throbbing pussy before slowly pushing your hips down. “Fuck you’ve got such a tight little hole” he grunts. George’s grip on your hips tightened as he lifted you off of his cock and slid you back down. George got faster with every thrust. He was fucking up into you and you lived for it. “George” you moaned loudly, making the boy fuck harder and deeper into you. You writhed above him, taking everything he gave you. You started feeling yourself clench around George’s cock. “I'm so close George'' you whined “Me too,” he said between uneven breaths. George’s movements stop for a moment, hearing the front door squeak. George looked to the door frame and saw Oliver looking at them, deciding to let him hear you. He was going to make it clear that when you moan, you moan for him and him only. You didn’t know that Oliver was there, you were feeling too good to pay attention to your surroundings. George pounded roughly into you. You cried out broken moans of his name with every thrust. George kept eye contact with Oliver. George could tell that Oliver was pissed and didn’t give a fuck, he wanted George's girl. “Who do you belong to again?” he growled “You!” you moaned out and tucked your head to suck marks on his skin. “I'm sorry darling. I didn’t catch their name” he groaned “who makes you feel this good?” you moaned louder for him “George Weasley!”. George smirked at Oliver and knew how close you were, you get louder and -if possible- tighter. You cum hard, tightening around George’s cock and whimpering his name. George couldn't handle going much longer after hearing your pretty little whimpers and came inside of you. You lift your head and look to see what George was staring at “oh, hey Oliver”

“Oi! Y/L/N, you up?” Y/N heard someone yell outside of her cabin door. She had just showered and gotten dressed and was enjoying a nice cup of coffee when her coworker decided to rudely disturb her peace. She marched towards the door, still clutching her coffee, and opened it abruptly. She was met with the long ginger hair of Bill Weasley, her colleague.
“Yeah, yeah. Now shut the fuck up, will you?” she snapped back before taking another sip of coffee.
“All you do is drink coffee and say bad words,” he joked.
“All you do is drink coffee and say bad words,” she mocked in a childish tone. “Now let me drink my coffee in peace, I’ll be out in five,” she added, before closing the door in his face. After working with her for nearly four years, he knew how grumpy she could be in the morning.
Y/N and Bill were both curse-breakers, working primarily in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor, Egypt. They had developed a rather interesting friendship. Y/N was known to be fierce, sarcastic and impulsive, while Bill was more friendly and patient. However, they understood their differences and most importantly - although Y/N would never admit it - they respected each other. Because of that, they worked quite well together, with the occasional snappy remark of Y/N of course.
When Y/N had finished her cup of coffee and grabbed a little bite to eat, she exited her cabin. Outside of said cabin, there was a clearing with four other cabins. In three of those cabins lived her coworkers. The fourth one usually stayed empty, as it was meant for visitors or when some Gringotts representatives came. In the middle of the clearing was a gigantic tent with all the stuff they would need in their day to day work, as well as a table, where they would sometimes all sit and eat together.
Besides her and Bill, there was Daniel Buchanan and Flynn Atkin. Dan was the healer on hand. It was quite necessary, curse-breaking was dangerous and the wounds you could end up getting had to be treated at once. And Flynn was a historian, specialized in the Egyptian eras. He could be quite handy in deciphering hieroglyphs or estimating what kind of objects they came across.
Y/N made her way to the tent in the middle of the clearing where she found Flynn, Dan and Bill sitting at the table, conversing.
“What are y’all sissies sitting there for! Let’s go, we got some curses to break,” she called out. Bill raised his eyebrow at this, while Flynn was getting up.
“Well, lovely of you to finally join us, princess,” Bill said.
“Don’t call me princess, Weasley,” she warned him menacingly.
When you saw Y/N, you wouldn’t exactly call her princess. On colder days in the Luxor desert, she wore black skinny jeans, a t-shirt or a top and was almost never seen without her black dragonhide jacket. However, Luxor could get quite hot, like today, so she then wore a simple black top with black shorts and perhaps a light, loose cotton blouse overtop, to protect her arms from the sun. And a pair of sunglasses of course.
Flynn, Bill and Y/N then made their way to the tomb of Ramesses I, where they were currently trying to break a rather stubborn curse. Dan usually stayed behind. He would be notified if someone was wounded and then he would apparate immediately, but most days would pass without any incidents. On those days, Dan would take care of all the correspondence with Gringotts and the more administrative aspect of the job.
When the three of them arrived at the tomb, they all just stared at it. They had managed to finally break the entrance of curses the day before, but now the trickiest part came. You never knew what kind of boobytraps or curses you could find inside of those tombs.
“So, what do you suggest, Y/L/N?” Bill asked her, still gazing into the tomb.
“Set it on fire,” she said without missing a beat. Bill and her kind of had this inside joke - could you even call it a joke? - where she would always suggest to set things on fire.
“Why is arson always your first answer?” Bill sighed.
“‘Cus I like fire. But no, I think we should maybe investigate the hieroglyphs around the inside of the entrance first. But we shouldn’t get too close,” she finally suggested.
“Yes, let’s do that,” Bill agreed. “Flynn, amaze us with your knowledge, mate,” he said, turning to Flynn, who was already grabbing a quill and some parchment to take notes on the hieroglyphs.
✶✧✶✧✶
When they finally finished their work day, Bill and Y/N could always be found around the table in the tent, playing some kind of wizard - or sometimes even a muggle - game. Today’s pick was wizard’s chess. And Y/N was losing badly, as always.
“Checkmate,” Bill said triumphantly. Y/N glared at him.
“I wanna punch you, but that’d ruin that pretty little face of yours,” she grumbled.
“Hey! My face is not pretty! It’s handsome,” Bill protested.
“Aw, did your mum tell you that?” Y/N mocked.
“She did, actually. Speaking of my mum, she’s coming to visit soon. Well, the whole family is actually,” he said, gleaming. Anyone could tell that he was really excited for the arrival of his parents and his many siblings.
Bill had told Y/N all about his six siblings. Charlie, the dragonologist with his head in the clouds. Percy, the studious soon to be Head Boy with his nose always in a book. Fred and George, the genius, mischievous twins who had a love for terror. Ron, the sweet, sometimes overlooked boy, who was - together with Percy - the usual object of said terror. And lastly, Ginny. She was fierce and could take any one of her brothers without a blink of an eye. In the way Bill spoke of Ginny, Y/N could tell she was secretly his favourite.
Y/N loved hearing the stories of Bill and his siblings, although it came with a pang of jealousy and hurt. She never showed it though, she wasn’t one to openly show her feelings. But she never had the family experience Bill had. Far from it actually. She came from a pureblood family that - opposite to the Weasleys - wasn’t close at all. Her parents were not opposed to Voldemort’s visions when he gained power when she was younger. She never understood it. She had an older brother who shared the same beliefs. So, at Hogwarts, she spent the Christmas holidays there and during the summer vacation she usually avoided her family. Their house - well, more like castle - was big enough to only see each other during meal times. The minute she graduated, she looked for a job that would get her out of her house as soon as she could. And so, being a curse-breaker in Egypt seemed like one hell of a good offer. However, she could never bring herself to tell Bill about her dysfunctional family. It’s not like she didn’t trust him - being curse-breakers together meant you had to literally trust each other with your lives - she just never really felt like opening up about it.
Bill and Y/N played for another while, making light conversation - and sarcastic comments - as they did so and then parted ways to their respective cabins.
When Y/N was lying in bed that night, she let her mind wander about what she thought the Weasley family would be like. Sure, they would all have the same deep red hair and freckled skin Bill had, but she wondered about the dynamics in the family. She wondered what it would be like to chat about sweet little nothings while having a cosy dinner. Or just hang out together for no reason. Tell each other secrets your parents couldn’t know.
Y/N wasn’t one who fell in love easily, but she thought that if she was to ever fall in love and start a family - big emphasis on the if here - she would make sure the family was as close as she could get it. She had no clue how she would do it, of course. But if she ever committed to a family, she would commit fully. However it was unlikely she would ever get that far. The closest she had ever come to loving someone was Bill, but of course she didn’t have any romantic feelings towards him, whatsoever. He was just her best friend. Nothing more. At all.
Sure she thought he was handsome. And she liked hanging out with him. No, she loved it. She was convinced there was no one else she could spend so much time with. They were together every day of the week, including the weekends. Of course they didn’t have to work on those weekends, but two days was too little to travel home and back. So they usually hung out in the clearing or sometimes they visited other parts of Egypt together, or just went to the city of Luxor. But it was always the two of them. He had become her constant companion and she loved that.
However she didn’t have any romantic feelings for him. Correction: she wouldn’t allow herself to feel them. She was too scared of it. She wasn’t used to feeling things like that, all giddy and sparks in her stomach, so she told herself she would ignore it until it would eventually go away. Because, above all, Y/N treasured her independence. If she wanted, she could just give up her job of Gringotts and move to the other end of the world. Sure she had to tell Bill, but she could still do what she wanted without having to take others into account. And if she admitted to herself that she liked - maybe even loved - Bill, it would be like a piece of that independence would go away. And she couldn’t bear that thought. It was that same independence that had gotten her through the rough relationship she had with her family. She wasn’t ready to give it up.
And with that, she fell into a deep slumber.
✶✧✶✧✶
When Bill’s family finally arrived, he was ecstatic. Y/N could tell by the way he couldn’t sit still, always glancing at the ‘entrance’ of the clearing, where his family would meet up with him. Bill had asked Gringotts for a vacation of two weeks and they had obliged. This meant Y/N - and therefore Dan and Flynn as well - also received said vacation, because curse-breaking on your own was too dangerous.
Y/N and Bill were sitting at the table in the tent and playing - or attempting to play - a muggle cards game they both didn’t understand the rules of. Dan - who was muggleborn - had taught them a thousand times, but they kept forgetting how it went and were currently making up their own rules. Speaking of Dan, he and Flynn had gone home to their families for the two weeks worth of holidays.
A crackling sound made both of their heads snap up and Y/N saw a bunch of gingers walking excitedly towards them. They all hurried to Bill, who had gotten up from the table. A small girl, around 11 years old, was the first to jump into Bill’s arms and Y/N figured that was Ginny. She looked at Y/N curiously when she noticed her, but stayed behind Bill for a bit. The next to hug Bill were Mr. and Mrs. Weasley. After they hugged their eldest son they made their way over to Y/N.
She extended her hand politely. “Hi, I’m Y/N,” she smiled. She couldn’t exactly pinpoint why she wanted to make a good impression on Bill’s parents, but she wanted to nevertheless. However, instead of shaking her hand, Mrs. Weasley pulled her in for a hug. Y/N was a bit taken aback, but soon hugged back a bit awkwardly. She wasn’t used to receiving hugs, let alone motherly hugs.
“Oh so you are the famous Y/N Bill writes so much about!,” Mrs. Weasley gushed, making not only Y/N flustered, but even Bill was starting to sport a redder shade than usual. He quickly turned back to the rest of his family, pretending that he hadn’t heard what his mother had said. “My name is Molly and this is Arthur,” she introduced her and her husband.
“Nice to meet you both,” Y/N said, still a bit flustered.
“The pleasure is all ours, dear!” Molly responded.
Arthur had noticed the game on the table and looked back at you, a gigantic grin on his face. “Is that a muggle game?” he asked you.
“Um, yeah, but Bill and I forgot the rules so we just made it up,” Y/N laughed. Arthur nodded, the grin still plastered on his face, mumbling: “Interesting, interesting.”
Bill’s siblings had all hugged him by now, so they joined Y/N and their parents.
Y/N saw two identical looking boys and assumed those were Fred and George, although she had no idea who was who. She figured that the tallest redhead, aside from Bill, was Charlie. An awkward looking boy next to Charlie seemed too old to be Ron, so she assumed that was Percy, which left one boy who she assumed was Ron.
After all chatting for a little while, it was time to make the sleeping arrangements. The guest cabin had two rooms with a king size bed each. In Bill’s cabin, there was a guest room with a king size bed and Bill’s own room that also had a king size bed.
“So, Mum and Dad can sleep in the guest cabin, together with Ron and Percy. Fred and George can share the bed in my guest room and Charlie and Ginny can share my bed,” Bill suggested.
“And where will you sleep?” Y/N questioned.
“I can sleep on the couch,” Bill shrugged. Y/N looked at him shocked.
“No. I have a guest room as well, someone can sleep there!” Y/N was too stubborn to say no to and Bill knew that. He sighed in defeat.
Before he could ask who of his siblings wanted to sleep in Y/N’s guest room - or before he could suggest that he would sleep there -, Ginny piped up: “Me!”
“That’s settled then! Come on, let’s go,” Y/N said to Ginny, who was already excitedly grabbing her bags and following Y/N to her cabin.
The rest of the family soon grabbed their bags and went to the cabins they were assigned to sleep in.
✶✧✶✧✶
The month that the Weasley family stayed with her and Bill in Egypt was among one of the best of Y/N’s life. Being born in a cold, distant family, she had now for the first time in her life gotten a taste of what it was like having a family that cared for you no matter what. She wasn’t officially part of the family of course, but even so she had felt more at home than at any other moment in her life.
She had spent time talking to Arthur about muggle magic he called electricity. Molly had taught - or at least tried to teach - her how to knit, but it turned out she wasn’t a natural, at all. She had also spent ages talking about dragons to Charlie. She had recommended Percy a few of her favourite Arithmancy books, as she knew the boy was interested in the subject. She had also spent quite a lot of time with the twins and they reminded her of herself when she was still in Hogwarts. She had been a quidditch beater as well and didn’t scare away from a prank or two, though she was never near as extreme as the twins. However, she still gave them some tips on how to get into Snape’s supply closet, though they had to promise her first not to tell a soul. Next, she spent endless evenings playing wizards’ chess with the youngest Weasley boy. For being so young, he sure was a genius in wizards’ chess. She lost every time, but as time went on it was harder and harder for him to beat her - though he still managed to every time. He even gave her tips on how to play better and explained which moves would’ve been better. And lastly, she spent the most time with the youngest Weasley, Ginny.
Sharing her cabin with Ginny resulted in Y/N having a really close bond with the girl. She could still remember the first night Ginny spent with her at the cabin. They had drunk a cup of tea together and Ginny just asked bluntly: “Are you dating my brother?” Y/N almost choked on her tea and had to ask where she got that idea. “Well, he always talks about you in his letters, so I thought that maybe you were his girlfriend,” the red haired girl had answered, before going back to sipping her tea.
Their nightly tea time then became a tradition of sorts. They drank a cup of tea - which usually ended up in multiple cups - together every night and spilled all kinds of secrets to each other. Ginny had told her all about her crush on Harry Potter and Y/N in turn had told about some mischievous things she had done at Hogwarts, giving the small girl tips on how to not get on teachers’ bad sides.
Bill had noticed how close Y/N and Ginny had gotten and it made him even more absolutely smitten for the girl. Yes, he had denied it for a long time at first, but seeing how well she was with his sister, he couldn’t run away from his feelings any longer. He was absolutely in love with Y/N. He loved all her sarcastic remarks and the witty comments she could throw at his head with no effort, but in the last month he had gotten to know another side of her that made him fall even deeper than he deemed possible. She was kind around his family, a trait he never really saw in her before. And she seemed happier. Not to mention that she wasn’t as grumbly as she used to be in the mornings. Of course he had loved her before, but it seemed like she was now more authentically herself now and that only made him fall deeper.
During the first two weeks of the month that the Weasleys spent in Egypt, Bill - and Y/N - didn’t have to work. Y/N had mentally prepared herself to barely see Bill for the next few weeks, when he would show his family around the tombs they had rid of curses and other magnificent parts of Egypt. However, Bill, Molly and Ginny insisted on Y/N tagging along, as she would be all alone in her cabin otherwise. So she joined the family on their little trips, adding a bit more information when Bill seemed to have forgotten.
However, when the last two weeks of their visit rolled around, Bill and Y/N were expected to work, so they could only hang out with the family after work and on the weekends. Molly and Arthur took that time to visit the more tourist-y spots with six of their children, like they enjoyed a boat trip on the Nile and visited all the pyramids they could find.
And when it was finally time for them to leave Egypt, Y/N had to try her absolute best to hide the tears that were forming in her eyes. She really wasn’t one to openly show emotions like that, so it was quite a new feeling of having to hide watery eyes. Molly had given her about the thousandth motherly hug and she hugged Molly back a little more tightly than before. As if Molly knew what that meant, she made Y/N promise that she would write often and even visit the Burrow sometime.
When they were gone at last, there was an empty feeling in both Bill and Y/N. This resulted in Y/N inviting him to drink another cup of tea in her cabin, which he happily agreed to.
“This was a little tradition of Ginny and me. We would drink tea every night like this. She truly is an amazing kid,” Y/N started.
“She is. She’s going to do wonderful things, I just know it,” Bill smiled.
“You know, you’re really lucky with a family like that,” Y/N mumbled after a while.
“I know. Growing up with them wasn’t always easy, but Godric I wouldn’t change any of it for the world,” he smiled nostalgically.
“You know, growing up, I never had that kind of relationship with my family. They were all so… cold,” Y/N began and Bill gazed at her. He suspected her home situation wasn’t all that. She had never once received a letter of a family member, nor had they ever visited. He felt happy that she finally felt comfortable enough to tell him about it.
“They all believed in pureblood supremacy and money and I was so glad to get out of there the minute I got the chance,” she continued. “And don’t get me started on my older brother. He was the worst of all. But it’s fine. They’re out of my life,” she concluded finally. Bill didn’t really know what to say, but Y/N understood what his silence meant and she appreciated it.
“Now, let’s play a game, shall we!” she exclaimed, abruptly changing her mood. She was already going outside to the tent, where all their games and board games were. Bill followed her soon after.
“What do you wanna play?” he asked her.
“Wizards’ chess!” He chuckled at her response and grabbed the familiar game.
He sat it down on the table and his eyes began to gleam with the Gryffindor courage. “What if we make this game a little more interesting,” he suggested.
“What did you have in mind, Weasley?” Y/N asked, not opposed to a challenge.
“If I win, you have to go on a date with me,” he said confidently, courage still soaring through his veins. Her telling him about her family made him see that he was even more in love with her than he ever could’ve dreamed and he had to make it known to her. Y/N stiffened at his request ever so slightly. She still treasured her independence, but after spending a month with the Weasley family, she learned that independence wasn’t everything. So she agreed.
“Okay, but what if I win?” she asked, a small smirk playing on her lips.
“Like you’re going to win,” he joked and shot her a wink. Yet deep down he was all giddy that she hadn’t exactly rejected him. Had she not wanted to go on a date with him, Bill knew she would’ve rejected his offer immediately.
They started the game and Y/N tried harder than ever before. Not because she didn’t want to go on a date with him, but because he thought she couldn’t do it and Y/N wouldn’t be Y/N if she didn’t try everything in her power to prove him wrong.
And so, when she could finally say the word she had been longing to say ever since Bill and her first game of wizards’ chess, she was gleaming with pride. “Checkmate!”
Bill looked at her incredulously. He hadn’t expected her to win the game. “Okay, so you won, you can choose something I have to do now,” he sighed, looking down.
“Kiss me, Weasley,” she said confidently. His eyes snapped up to meet hers. They were full of determination and passion.
“What?” he all but gasped.
Y/N shoved the board onto the side and climbed onto the table until their faces were mere inches away from each other. “I said: kiss me,” she repeated, sitting down on the table in front of him. Bill didn’t have to be told twice - or well thrice - as he cupped her face gently and crashed his lips onto hers. As their lips began moving hungrily in sync, his hands moved to her waist and he pulled her off the table and into his lap so that she was straddling him. Y/N took this as an opportunity to deepen the kiss. Their tongues began combatting for dominance, both too stubborn to give up. Meanwhile they were pouring their feelings into the kiss. It wasn’t just a kiss. It was the kiss they used to tell each other that they loved each other.

Bet: Fred and George Weasley X Reader (FT. Lee Jordan)
Tumblr media
A/N: just a lot of platonic crack XD
Life with Fred and George Weasley as your best friends was quite chaotic.
From the endless teasing to the unexpected jokes to the best pranks ever, you adored both of them to the very last freckle.
You were sitting in your Potions class with your least favourite professor, the greasy haired git known as Severus Snape, when something caught your attention.
Your sleeve was getting tugged at.
You looked at your partner, George, as he slipped a piece of parchment towards you.
Lee, Fred and I have placed a bet, that you can’t skive off the first twenty minutes of Snape’s next class. He reckons you can, we think otherwise.
You scowled at him.
You scribbled hastily on another piece of parchment.
You’re gonna go down, Weasley. What are we betting for?
You threw it his way.
George smirked at you before shoving another note your way.
Loser writes that twelve-inch essay Flitwick’s set us.
You shuddered.
‘Poor losers.’ You mumbled.
After the ghastly hour was over, Fred, George and Lee approached you.
‘Up to the challenge, L/N?’ Fred snickered.
You smirked. ‘You bet.’
‘It’s still Snape though.’ Lee shuddered.
‘Yeah, bet he has wet dreams about torturing the students.’ George muttered.
‘Wet dreams, oh merlin.’ You rolled your eyes.
--------------------
Charms was as uneventful as any other day.
Professor Flitwick had given you silencing spells to practise.
‘Silenco.’ You lazily muttered, watching satisfied as your frog stopped mid-croak.
You were done with all your frogs and ravens, so you summoned some more.
‘Accio Frogs.’ You spoke, as several frogs whizzed your way, narrowly missing Lee.
One landed between the twins as you snickered at their shock.
‘Fancy warning us before you do that, mate?’ Fred yelled, nonplussed.
You ignored them, continuing the charms.
When you were done yet again, you set your wand aside.
‘Alright, listen here.’ You whispered as all three boys sat up.
‘I’m going to need the map, first thing.’ You explained. ‘And you two, bet or not, if I get into trouble, for merlin’s sake, help me!’
‘When have we not?!’ George asked, in mock anger.
You thought sarcastically. ‘Hmm... let’s see... when McGonagall caught us trying to sneak into Zonko’s in our second year... when Binns marked me zero because I forgot my essay when, in truth it was I who had written yours. And a couple of more times when you cheated off me!’
‘Alright, alright, we mocked you for being a swotty prat like Percy at times.’ Fred said.
‘Sometimes, huh?’ Lee sniggered.
-----------------------
Alas, you were not successful, but at least the objective that Potions would not remain uneventful was fulfilled.
You roamed around when you heard the bell, occasionally throwing stuff at Peeves who was threatening to rat you out.
‘Peeves, I’m asking nicely.’ You warned. ‘Do NOT rat me out!’
‘Ickle Y/N isn’t being such a good girl, now is she?’ Peeves mocked.
‘Peeves!’ you warned.
‘STUDENTS IN THE HALL! STUDENTS SKIVING CLASSES!’ Peeves roared.
‘PEEVES!’ you sneered, bolting.
Filch came, wheezing.
‘Where?’ he demanded. ‘Where, you ruddy poltergeist, WHERE?’
‘Ask nicely, or I won’t say nothing.’ Peeves said.
‘Oh merlin’s sake.’ Filch spat. ‘PLEASE Peeves. Where are they?’
‘Nothing.’ Peeves spoke.
Filch look confused.
‘Told you I wouldn’t say nothing if you don’t ask nicely.’ Peeves said. ‘There, I said it. Nothing!’
‘Peeves!’
‘Even his idiocy is improper.’ You muttered.
Ah.
Twenty minutes had passed.
You walked over to Potions and saw Fred and George getting scolded for something.
Fred made a desperate gesture for you to get in.
You nodded, creeping in.
When you sat down, a voice spoke.
‘Do not expect, Miss L/N.’ Snape softly said. ‘That I have not noticed you walking in to my lesson twenty minutes late.’
Mentally cursing, you turned around.
‘May I inquire your whereabouts?’ he asked.
‘I was...’ you began.
George made a coughing gesture behind Snape.
‘... sick.’ You finished. ‘At the, uh, infirmary.’
‘May I also know what happened to you?’ Snape sneered.
Fred made a fainting gesture, putting his hand on his forehead.
‘I had a fever.’ You spoke.
Fred continued making some gesture you couldn’t understand.
‘... and... sprouted some tentacles when someone hexed me?’ it came out more as a question than a statement.
George made an exasperated face.
Snape smiled triumphantly. ‘Detention, miss L/N.’
You sighed.
‘And you too, Weasley and Weasley.’ He continued. ‘Don’t think I didn’t see you helping her.’

tolerate it (p.w.)
A/N: I got tolerate it done! I have been wanting to write this one since I started this collection and I am so happy to have finished it this is one of my favourite songs from Evermore! I also somehow had this take another course while I was writing this and I accidentally connected it to another fic I am writing for this collection (evermore) so I have altered evermore's description to fit it. I just felt this chemistry as I was writing these characters and it just kinda happened. I also thew in a little easter egg relating to ivy in there - I just couldn't help myself because the opportunity was right there.
I want to let it be known that this is not Percy slander, it is just how this fic ended up. Percy is very career driven and he also cares about how he looks and his image and that is shown in this fic.
Anywho, I know there are a lot of people out there waiting on requests and they are coming, just very slowly. I have not had much time to work on writing because of school, but I will get your requests out eventually! However, I hope you lovelies can enjoy this in the meantime💛!
Paring: Percy Weasley x Fem!Reader, a bit of Charlie Weasley x fem!Reader (too much chemistry to deny honestly)

The sound of silence swirled in the room with the dust that floated in the golden rays of sunlight. For something so present in her life these days, Y/N was still not used to the painful silence. She sat on the cushioned couch in Percy’s study, a book laid open on her lap, her hands folded, her back straight. She never used to sit like that, she always thought people who did look like they were always trying to hide something. But, then again, she never used to think she’d be sitting in the same room as her fiancé while feeling like she was millions of kilometres away from him. She lifted her eyes slowly, trailing over the beautifully crafted hardwood floor, over the red and gold rug (that matched the decor of the room), they danced along the dark wood of Percy’s desk. They finally stopped when they landed on his flaming red hair as it shined in the afternoon sunlight. Her head lifted as she studied him. Hunched over his papers, he scribbled furiously. “Percy, dear,” She cleared her throat when her voice came out more mousey than she expected. Percy hummed, not lifting his head from his work. “I was thinking we could go to town today, shop around for some more things for your brother’s visit?”
“Why? Charlie will be fine with everything we have in the guest room.” Percy grunted, dipping his quill in the ink-pot. Y/N pursed her lips, setting the book on the cushion beside her.
“Well, maybe we could get different soap for the ensuite? Maybe some relaxing candles, stuff so he can draw himself a bath,” She suggested, folding her hands back in her lap. “I’m sure he will be tired from coming all the way here from Romania. He’s not used to England time anymore.”
“Charlie doesn’t need all that, besides, it’s not like he’ll have time to relax. Once he’s here, we’ve got to get right to work,” He shook his head as he read over the new paper in his hands. “We’ve got lots of work to do,” He paused, his eyes finally looking at her, but only to flick over her seated form. “You would understand if you were still working.” He jabbed.
Y/N nodded, rolling her lips as she let the comment slide off her back, not thinking too much about his quip, just like she did with the others. “Well, we should still get him something nice, welcome him into our house.”
“I can’t go to town, Y/N, I have to get this done. You can go if you think it to be so important.”
“But I thought it would be nice to go together. It is a beautiful Saturday and those aren’t due for another week-“ She tried to explain, but the sound of Percy angrily throwing his quill against the table cut her off, startling her.
“I can’t just run off to town on a whim. Now if you can’t sit in here quietly then you can go read in another room or something, I don’t care what you do as long as I can get some peace and quiet.” He exploded, gesturing his hand aggressively towards the closed door to his study. She silently looked at the door.
“Sorry, I’ll leave you alone.” She whispered, grabbing the book and raising from the vision, remembering the lecture Percy had given her last time she didn’t put her book back before leaving a room. On her way to the door, she gently laid the book on one of the built-in bookshelves, not even looking at it. Instead, she kept her eyes forward, not wanting to look at Percy as he bowed his head back down to scribble on the paper. The door opened with a creak as Y/N slid out into the large and empty hall. Softly, she rested her weight on the door till it shut. Heaving out a sigh, she let her head fall back against the beautifully crafted white door, the identical one beside her jiggling when the other locked into it with a click.
Living with Percy was not what she thought it would be. When she was just a naive schoolgirl, they talked of having a decent house with a cozy feel, the rooms filled with laughter and the warmth of family, nights spent by the crackling fire with hushed voices and tender touches. The memories of the daydreams she had looked like a fairytale, conjured up from the mind of a foolish girl who thought happy endings were real. Now, she was alone in this grand house, the rooms and halls feeling cold with the only sound being the echoes of her footsteps. Heaving a sigh, she pushed herself off the door and made her way to get ready to go to town.
____
The melody of classical music filled the room as it was bathed in the orange and pink hues of the setting sun. Y/N sat in the armchair by the fire, watching the flames licking the stone, the black smoke swirling up into the chimney. Percy sat in the chair across from her, a book open in his hands, his head bowed low. Many nights in the Common Room were spent like these, Percy’s nose in a book as they sat by the warm fire. It looked almost the exact same as those nights to anyone else who had witnessed them, but Y/N could tell the difference. Now, the fire felt just as cold at the space between them, gone were the soft touches, the stroke of Percy’s thumb against Y/N’s hand, the feeling of his side pressed against her side, the comfortable silence. Y/N missed it all, but the thing she missed the most were the glances that left her smiling and blushing while a storm of butterflies raged in her stomach. Now, she just sat watching him read with his head low, noticing every little thing he does and doesn’t do.
“Percy,” Charlie’s gruff voice spoke, speaking over the cracks of the fire and breaking the verbal silence. Percy looked up from his book, his eyes not even glancing at Y/N in their path to look at Charlie entering the sitting room. Y/N softly turned her head to look at Charlie who took a seat on the empty couch. “I just thought of something that we should talk about in tomorrow's meeting.” He informed him.
“Just one second, Charlie,” Percy interrupted him before he could continue, his finger in the air as he turned his eyes to Y/N sitting across from him. She already knew what he was going to say before the words tumbled out of his mouth. “Y/N, would you excuse us, we have to discuss business and you have no need to be here while we do that.” He finally spoke to her for the first time since dinner. She nodded, standing from the chair and smoothing the back of her dress.
“She doesn’t need to go, the house is far too cold for her not to be near a fire and there isn’t one made anywhere else but my room.” Charlie insisted, catching Y/N’s forearm as she went to walk by the couch, heading for the grand archway leading to the dark hall.
“Nonsense, she can make one with her wand in the bedroom,” Percy waved him off. Y/N bit her bottom lip, looking back at Percy. “What are you looking at me for? You know how to start a fire, I know you’re two years younger than me, but they still taught you the same things as they taught me in Hogwarts.”
“I know how to do it, but I can’t. My wand broke when I slipped on ice in town a couple of days ago, I haven’t been able to run to Diagon Alley to get it fixed yet, remember?” She reminded him meekly, not wanting the same reprimanding she had received when she had told him the first time. Percy tutted, rolling his eyes as he remembered, gently closing the book still in his hands and setting it beside his leg, sticking into the gap between the cushion and the armrest of the chair.
“Ah, yes, I remember now. It’s laying on your dresser snapped practically in half. How many times do I have to tell you not to take your wand when it is icy out? How many wands do you need to break before you realize that,” He lectured as if she was a child. “Very well, wait outside the doorway and I’ll come to start a fire for you.” He heaved out a sigh, beckoning her away with a flick of his hand. Nodding, she went to walk away, but Charlie had not let go of her, instead, he tightened his hold, keeping her in place.
She looked down at him, her lips parted slightly in shock as he glared at his younger brother before looking up at her. “You can just go in my room while Percy and I talk then I will come get you and we can go and start a fire for you in your room.” Charlie informed her in such a way that told her she was not going to argue with him. Nodding silently, she pulled her arm free from his now loose grip and exited the room as it fell silent with tense air between the brothers, her heels clicking on the hardwood and the cracks of the fire being the only sound.
They must have waited until they couldn’t hear her heel clicks anymore before starting to talk since she didn’t hear a single sound coming from the room as she walked down the dark hall, the only light coming from the flicking flames of the candles lining the hallway. She sighed, pushing Charlie’s door open and slipping to the room. She didn’t even notice how cold she was until she stepped into the warm room, she relaxed into the warmth, closing the door behind her to trap the heat in. Making her way over to the armchair stationed in front of the roaring fire, she watched the flames just like she had done in the other room, thinking. All she did was sit in silence, try to live alongside Percy without messing up and making him lecture her. She didn’t understand it. She couldn’t understand how this Percy was the same Percy who stayed up late in the Common Room to talk to her about the scars of her past and soothed each and every one of them, laying soft blankets over the barbed wire of her heart so she could escape and finally love.
She jumped slightly when the door creaked open. Startled, she looked up to see Charlie walking into the room, closing the door behind him again. “Sorry to startle you, I didn’t know you were so deep in thought.” Charlie apologized, sitting in the other armchair across from her.
“It is okay, Charlie,” She told him, moving to stand but he held a hand out to signal her to stop. Obeying him immediately as if he was Percy, she settled back in her chair, sitting posed with her hands folded delicately in her lap, nervous as to why he seemed so stern, assuming she was going to have to listen to another lecture. “Are we not going to start a fire in the master bedroom?” She asked quietly when he didn’t answer, only dropping his hand back to his thigh with a slap, shaking his head.
“No, not yet. I want to talk to you first.” He told her.
“Oh-” She trailed off, her eyes casting down to the rug under their feet before back up at him, confused. “About what? If it is about getting Percy to mention something in the meeting for you, he doesn’t let me talk about work with him-”
“It’s not about Percy, not entirely,” He cut her off, leaning towards her with narrowed eyes as he studied her. She gulped, leaning away, unsure of what he was doing. “You’ve changed,” He mused, leaning back in the chair after concluding his study of her, his eyes still burning into her as she shifted. She knew she changed, it was not hard to tell that she has changed. “You used to stand up for yourself, make yourself known. You were never the doting housewife type of person, but yet here you are, being treated like a child by your fiancé. Why?”
She shrugged, dropping her eyes to the floor. “People change. Percy is so mature and wise, he must be right so that means I should listen to him, he knows best.” She whispered, not believing a word she said. Percy was mature and wise, much older than her, but she knew that he was not right about how he treated her.
“I don’t believe that, but it’s late and you should get some sleep,” He stood, prompting her to stand as well, hurriedly as if she would be scolded for not being prompt enough. “I excused myself from the meeting tomorrow and I am taking you to Diagon Alley. So you have to be up, we are spending the day there and eating supper there as well, which gives you a break from the house chores and Percy commenting on how dirty the plates are or how you set the table wrong, or your cooking. Might even swing by and visit Fred and George’s shop, must have lots to talk to you about, those two.” He told her as he walked to the door, her following behind him silently.
“What about Percy, is he still holding the meeting? He must be mad about you cancelling on him.” She asked nervously as he led her through the darkened halls, the candles having been extinguished, the only light coming from the winter moonlight streaming in through the grand windows.
“He got an urgent letter from the Ministry, he had to leave immediately for an emergency, probably be gone tonight and most of tomorrow.” Charlie told her, opening her bedroom that she shared with Percy.
“I hope everything is okay, it must be very important for him to be called away at a time like this.” She commented, shivering as she stepped into the room that seemed to be even colder than the frozen hall.
“Nothing to worry too much about, I am sure it is just a vermin issue and he has to try to contact someone to tend to it. I think he muttered something about Flesh-eating slugs actually,” He didn’t even look at her as he flicked his wand at the fireplace, igniting the wood that laid stacked in it. Something about how he spoke told her that he wasn’t telling the truth and Percy hadn’t been called away, instead, having stormed off to the office. He pocketed his wand, turning to look at her as she stood in the middle of the room, the glow of the fire lightning it. “I will leave you this to sleep on,” He paused, walking to the door while still looking at her. “The sanctuary is looking for a new magizoologist with an extensive knowledge in herbology.”
____
Y/N walked out of Ollivander’s with her new wand encased safely in the box which was in a bag dangling from the crook of her elbow. Charlie walked out behind her, letting the door fall shut after they said bye to Ollivander. “Okay, now that you’ve got your wand, let’s pop into the Twin’s shop.” Charlie suggested, pointing to the brightly pained shop with the giant, animated man. She looked up as she slipped her knotted coin bag back into her pocket, taking in the shop.
“Sure I haven’t seen the shop in a while. I just never have time to come here. Not with all the chores I have to do around the house.” She shrugged, stuffing her gloved hands into the pockets of her travelling cloak.
“What on earth does my brother have you doing that takes up all your time?” Charlie questioned as they started to slowly make their way down the crowded street, taking their time and enjoying the feeling of walking through the snowy alley. Y/N shrugged again, her eyes looking down at the snow-covered cobblestone, the white fluff packed into the cracks of the cobblestone.
“I mostly clean around the house, but I have to do it a certain way, if I do not, I end up having to listen to Percy’s comments about how much he tolerates.” She told him as they neared the front door of the joke shop, Charlie pulling the door open, letting her go in first as he scoffed at her comment, but he didn’t say anything. Y/N ignored Charlie, looking around the busy story, watching as fireworks whizzed around, ducking as one came right at her head.
“Let’s see what Fred and George think of how he’s treating you,” Charlie hummed, gently leading her farther into the shop so that he could close the door, cutting the cold winter wind off. “There’s one of them now.” He pointed to the tall ginger who was talking to a young customer, nabbing a product from the top of the tall shelf. Before she could protest, Charlie was walking around her and approaching the twin with long strides.
Scurrying after him, she caught up just in time for the twin to turn around, the child scampering off elsewhere to browse. “Ah, Charlie, my dear brother. To what do we owe the pleasure of you gracing our shop too,” The twin exclaimed, a feeling of joy and fun surrounding them as they spent more time in the store. “And Y/N, the future Mrs. Percy Weasley. Good to see you, Madam.” He bowed to her extravagantly, making Y/N looked around the shop with reddened cheeks, hoping nobody saw his little show.
“Hi, George,” Y/N greeted, recognizing the voice. Appearance-wise, she had a hard time telling them apart, but as soon as they talked, she was able to pinpoint just which twin was in front of her without fail. George nodded at the greeting, standing right as Fred wandered over to the group leisurely. “Fred.” Y/N greeted him first, his hands in his pockets, making his suit jacket flare out, being a picture of laid-back.
“Good morning, Y/N,” He nodded to her before nodding to his older brother. “Charlie. What can we do for you today?” He posed the same question his twin had, looking between the pair he never thought he would see grace his shop together. Charlie shrugged, looking at the shelf next to him, poking a box.
“Just popped in to take a peek and get your opinions on a topic we were just discussing,” Charlie told them, jamming his hands into his jacket pockets, looking back to his tall brothers. “Percy.”
“And what about our dear brother?” Fred asked, rolling onto the balls of his feet then rocking back onto his heels. Y/N shook her head at Charlie, fairly annoyed with his mission. She knew everything he was saying, they were all thoughts she already held in her head, but how could she leave Percy after all the love that they held for one another. That love had to still be there, it couldn’t just disappear suddenly.
“Has Y/N changed in the past two years?” Charlie blurted out, confusing the two pranksters in front of him, making them share puzzled looks before looking at Charlie again.
“Yeah, but what does that have to do with Percy?” George wondered.
“Look, yes, I have changed, but Percy has to still love me,” She directed the comment to Charlie, leaving Fred and George to look at each other, questioning what was going on. “All that love couldn’t have just disappeared. We love each other and while life is not how I pictured it, I do not see why I have to do anything to change it. If Percy thinks life should be like that, then he must be right.” She expressed.
“Tell us, Y/N, what life had you pictured?” Charlie asked, crossing his arms over his chest as he instantly knew this would win the argument for him. Y/N shrugged, thinking, her eyes drifting around the store as she thought back to the visions she fell asleep to. The stories she thought would be a reality, but now know that they were just fairytales of a naive girl.
“I guess I always pictured Percy and I sitting on a couch in front of a warm fire, him reading a book out loud. We would share soft touches as we both relaxed after a long day at work. The house would be warm and lively, heated by our love for each other as we did daily activities together like cooking,” She paused, her eyes dancing along the ceiling as fireworks fizzled out overhead. She watched the once bright colours flicker and sputter before going out, leaving a trail of grey smoke swirling into the air. “He would do great things in the Ministry, building up the Wizarding World and I would be making strides in the Magizoologist field,” She sighed, looking back at the three men. “But I guess, somewhere along the way, now he’s building his career and I am just sitting at home, trying to make sure everything is perfect for him all the time.” She trailed off, hanging her head as she thought it through.
“Personally, I don’t see how your life now can compare to the life you pictured.” George spoke up.
“Of course it is incomparable, but life never goes as planned. What I wanted and what I am supposed to have are two very different things,” She agreed. “Besides, it’s not how the world works, I am just naive and childish, Percy tells me that all the time.” Fred shook his head, pointing between himself and his twin.
“No, no. We are childish, you were never naive and childish. You had dreams and an idea of how you wanted your life.” Fred told her, oddly wise and serious for him. George nodded along, silently agreeing. Huffing, Y/N’s tongue flicked out, swiping along her drying lips. Glancing at Charlie, she saw him looking at her, a look in his eye telling her to believe them. She found herself trusting his eyes, staying locked in his gaze until she came to her senses and darted her eyes back to the ceiling.
“It isn’t too late to have your dream life, Y/N,” Charlie spoke softly. Y/N could feel his eyes on her still, but she ignored it and continued to look at the ceiling where fireworks once were zooming around, darting towards the shelves, fizzing and sparking with beautiful colours. “You just have to talk to Percy if you always pictured him in your life. You can have the life you pictured, what you want and what you are supposed to have are not two different things.” He told her.” She listened to his words. She could do it. She could remove the painful dagger he had jabbed into her dreams and pull it out if she had to.
“I’ll talk to him.” She nodded, looking back over at Charlie who smiled at her, proud that she had finally listened. She found the corners of her lips turning up into a smile as she gazed into his eyes, feeling a weight lifting off her shoulders and chest. Just then, pops and fizzes were heard overhead, making her look up, seeing the bright colours swirling around the ceiling before each of them whizzed off elsewhere in the shop.
“Well, that means it is a new hour-” Fred started, looking up at the new fireworks speeding through the store, dodging one that almost hit him.
“Lunchtime.” George finished, also gazing at the fireworks.
“Well, we best be heading to lunch, we’ve got lots to discuss and do today,” Charlie nodded to his brothers who started a game of rock, paper, scissors to see who would take their lunch first. “I’ll see you at Y/N’s and Percy’s tomorrow night for the family dinner before I leave?” He asked them, earning nods and a frustrated grunt from Fred when George beat him in the first game.
“See you guys.” Y/N waved as they started a new round. Charlie and her turning around to make their way out of the shop, walking back out into the bitter cold. Y/N couldn’t help but let her destined conversation with Percy weigh on her mind.
____
Y/N collected the dirty plates as Percy talked to Bill about Ministry business, the others having migrated to the living room after Y/N had denied help, the only one who insisted passed her stubbornness and actually forced her to let him help was Charlie who took it upon himself to clean and put the dishes back. “Here, dear, let me take those into the kitchen for you.” Molly marched back into the dining room, hands out ready to grab the stack of dishes from Y/N.
“You do not need to help, Molly, you are our guest, I am more than capable.” She insisted politely, adding another plate to the stack. It was one of their fancier sets, not that any of their sets weren’t fancy, but these ones were the more expensive set that they used for family gatherings.
“Nonsense dear, you can’t take all of these dishes without your wand. I’ll clear the table and you can go search for it.” Molly waved her hand at the young woman, forcefully grabbing the stacks of plates from her hands.
“Did you lose your brand new wand already?” Percy asked her, cutting off his conversation once his mother was in the kitchen. Y/N looked to him, shrinking back under his judgemental gaze, folding into herself as if she was a child being scolded.
“I had it in the bedroom while I was getting ready, I left it on the bed to go into the bathroom, but it was gone when I got back,” She explained, but he just huffed, rolling his eyes at her, muttering under his breath, clearly embarrassed she had been so foolish in front of his family. “I honestly think it got wrapped up in the sheets, I am sure I will find it when it is time to go to bed.” She spoke up.
“I am very sorry for her immaturity, Bill,” Percy apologized. “Y/N, could you go wait in the kitchen while I finish up with Bill then I’ll call you back in.” He told her. Nodding, she bowed her head, walking through the doorway leading to the kitchen. Molly and Charlie looked at her, but she simply waited outside of the doorway, trying not to listen to Percy and Bill talking.
“What are you doing,” She jumped when Charlie appeared beside her, his present startling her. “Sorry,” He apologized, drying his hands on one of the dishtowels as the dishes continued to watch themselves in the sink, Molly leaving the room to get more dishes from the table. “But what are you doing?”
“Waiting for Percy to be done, he wants to talk about me losing my wand,” She told him. Charlie groaned, tossing the towel to the counter messily, giving her a look. “I know, I know,” She muttered, knowing what he was thinking. “I need to talk to him, but I am not talking to him right before a huge family dinner nor am I talking to him while you’re here.” She told him, turning around as he walked farther into the kitchen, starting to put the dishes away as they placed themselves into the rack after drying themselves.
“That means you’re going to talk to him tomorrow after I leave, right?” He asked, not noticing Fred and George walking into the kitchen in search of more food, the pair stopping to listen to the conversation.
“Yes, at some point tomorrow I will talk to him. For now, I can survive this treatment for another night, besides, I want to put the conversation off because what if it’s the end of Percy and I? Am I really ready for that possibility? What if there is still love buried under this mess?” She worried, watching as he moved through the kitchen to place the dishes back, having already figured out the layout in the short time he was there. She was amazed at how quick he was to adapt to change.
“I guess then that is the difference between the life you picture and the life you are meant to have, there are things that just do not work out because they are holding you back from your dream. If this conversation is the end of you and Percy then it is the end.” Charlie shrugged, stopping what he was doing as the dishes started to lag behind. She hummed nervously, twisting her fingers as she shifted.
“Y/N, could you come in here for a moment?” Percy called to her. With one last look shared between her and Charlie, she turned, nearly bumping into George in the process, not realizing he was in the room. He smiled down at her, moving out of her way as Fred wandered up to Charlie, patting him on his back.
“You and I aren’t that different, are we Charlie-boy? Both trying to break up engagements.” He spoke, but something told Y/N she was not meant to hear that.
“I’m not trying to break up with engagement, Fred, that’s ridiculous-” She couldn’t hear what else Charlie was saying as she walked into the dining room again, spotting Percy sitting in the same spot, his hands folded on the clean table in front of him, Molly walking into the kitchen, smiling as she passed her, clearly unaware she was going to be lectured by her son.
“Really, Percy, I know where my wand is, I just didn’t have enough time to actually look for it in the sheets.” She told him, taking a seat at the table, a few spots down the head he sat at, his cold eyes on her. She gulped, shifting in her seat as she folded her hands in her lap, angling her body to look at him better.
“You couldn’t have told me you lost your wand? I could have found it and spared us being embarrassed in front of my family,” He questioned, exasperated. “You know, I know I saw this a lot, but I really do tolerate so much from you. Please, for the love of Merlin, next time think about how we appear to others before you tell people that you lost your brand new wand. I mean, how clumsy are you? First, you break one and now you lost one.” He shook his head, standing up, his chair scraping against the hardwood floor.
“I really am sorry, Molly was asking and I couldn’t lie to her,” She insisted, standing up herself. “Where are you going, is this the end of the conversation, I don’t even get to defend myself?” She asked as he walked towards the archway leading to the hall. He paused, looking over his shoulder at her.
“I have to go do damage control so that we are not the laughing stock of the family. Why don’t you go and work on the dishes with Charlie?” He suggested in a way that told her to just listen to him. Not wanting to put him into a worse mood than he already was, she obeyed, making her way back into the kitchen where Charlie worked at putting the dishes away again, the twins had left, obviously taking the hallway back to the sitting room.
“Hey, I know this might not be the time, but I just realized that I might not be able to return for Christmas again this year so I wanted to take this opportunity to say Happy Christmas to you.” Charlie said when he heard her walking in, looking over his shoulder as he placed a glass back into its spot.
“Happy Christmas, Charlie.” She returned the festive greeting solemnly, making Charlie give her a concerned look before deciding not to ask any questions, clearly seeing that she was too wrapped up in her head to listen to him pester her. Instead, he went back to putting the dishes back, glancing at her every few minutes.
____
The house had returned to its normal silence once again, leaving Y/N sitting alone in the sitting room, waiting for Percy to get home from the Ministry. She twisted her fingers together, staring at the flames in the fireplace, heating the room. Looking up as she heard the door to their house opening, she stood, rushing through the sitting room to look out into the hall, seeing Percy shrugging off his cloak and setting his briefcase down. “Percy,” She spoke softly, gaining his attention. He hummed, looking up at her as he untied his shoes. “Could you come in here a moment, I have to talk to you about something.” She asked him rather nervously.
“Of course, just a moment while I change my shoes, I don’t want to track snow into the house,” He told her, grabbing another pair of shoes to slip on. She nodded, ducking back into the sitting room and making her way back over to the sofa, taking her spot back. The thought of this conversation being the end of her relationship with him weighed in her mind, but after spending the day all by herself for the first time in a week, she realized how it already felt that it was over between them for the longest time. She wasn’t able to think too much about it anymore as Percy walked into the room, rubbing his hands together and blowing into them, trying to warm himself up. “What do you need to talk about?” He asked her, standing in front of the fireplace, holding his hands out to it.
“I want my dream life,” She blurted out, not giving herself a chance to chicken out. Gulping, she watched as he glanced over his shoulder at her in confusion. “I want to go back to work and I want to know if you still love me.” She continued, throwing the plan she had rehearsed for this conversation out the window.
“Of course I still love you-”
“Really? Because it seems to me that I am just a burden that you tolerate and I should not just be tolerated, I should be celebrated and shown love, but all you do is make comments and roll your eyes as if I am a child,” She ranted, the words just pouring out, easing the pressure she didn’t know she had weighing down on her chest. “I want to be loved and appreciated, not banished to doorways and shooed out of rooms. I want to be able to live, I want to be relevant in someone else's life, I want to make a name for myself, not just making it into the footnotes of your success story,” She paused, looking lifting her eyes from the floor, looking at him to see him fully turned towards her, his mouth hanging open as he blinked at her. “And I so desperately want to know that there is still love between us because you were who I imagined in my perfect life. Please,” She choked on unshed tears, feeling the tell-tale lump in her throat, blocking the words from leaving her mouth. “Please tell me that this is all in my head and that there is a flame still burning in the depths of this darkness.” She pleaded, a few tears slipping down her cold cheeks.
She was silent, the only noise coming from her were the sniffles as she tried to not let out the sobs and cries she was holding back. He stayed silent as well, his eyes stuck to the floor under his feet, not wanting to meet her eyes. A sob slipped past her lips as she realized what the silence meant, but part of her didn’t want to believe it. “If you don’t tell me it is possible for us to love each other still, then I will have no problem taking this dagger you jabbed through my heart out, leaving the idea of us bleeding out on this coffee table if that meant I could have my dream life,” She was fully prepared now to leave him, to dump the weight of him off her shoulders. “Believe me, Percy Weasley, I can do it if you do not tell me that I somehow got this all wrong,” She gave him another opportunity to speak up, to fight for her, but he remained silent, still not lifting his eyes to meet her. Just then, she knew that she could not deny it anymore and her heart shattered with the force compared to the killing curse, breaking into millions of little, tiny pieces as she realized that there was no more love and he was just tolerating her to save face. “Well, I guess this belongs to you again,” She whispered, pulling the engagement ring off her finger, gently laying it on the clean coffee table, standing up. “I already had my things ready in case this happened so this is goodbye, Percy.” She kept her eyes on him, hoping that he would lift his eyes from the floor finally and tell her to stay, that he did love her still, but he didn’t. He remained just as silent and cold as the house they were in. He gave her no other choice but to walk out of the room and walk out of this life, now free from the dagger in her heart and the weight of him crushing down on her, free from him only tolerating her.

Driving Me Mad [G.W] - Part 1
Series Description: You and George come up with a plan to help each other out by pretending to date each other. But what happens when you actually start to catch feelings...
Pairing: George Weasley x Gryffindor fem!reader
Word Count: 2.2k
Description: You reconnect with George during a friendly game of spin the bottle.
A/N: This concept was inspired by one of my favorite 90s teen movies, Drive Me Crazy (which everyone should watch btw). I wrote this a few years ago and recently re-worked. This is part 1 of 8! Enjoy :)
                                                         X
“1…2…3…4…” you heard Fred calling. You took off at a run to find your spot. You were playing hide and seek, like you always did at these reunions. The Burrow was the best venue for hide and seek because there were so many great hiding spots, both inside and out. Fred and George seemed to be the best at this game, but you had one secret spot where no one could ever find you. You ran down the stairs quickly, hoping you wouldn’t be heard or spotted. Your parents were in the sitting room with Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, waiting for the roast to finish and you tip-toed to the one area where you shouldn’t have been, the kitchen. It was an unspoken rule that the kitchen was off limits when Mrs. Weasley was preparing dinner, but you were never one to follow rules. You heard the adults talking in the other room and knew you had a very limited window to get situated. You opened the cabinet under the sink and went to climb in when you realized there was already someone in there.
“Hey! This is my spot!” you whispered, still trying to keep your cover.
“Well too bad, I was here first,” he spat back.
“READY OR NOT, HERE I COME!” Fred called. Your eyes went wide in panic and you shoved yourself into the cabinet.
“Slide…over…” you said as you dug your elbow into George’s side. You knocked over stacks of bowls and pans and you quickly shut the cabinet door hoping to muffle the noise.
“I can’t believe you took my spot,” you grumbled.
“Your spot? I don’t see your name on it,” he teased. You smacked him and he winced. “Now, that wasn’t very nice.”
“Shh…you’ll give our position away.” You heard footsteps coming across the tile floor and held your breath.
You sat there for what seemed like hours, whispering insults back and forth and laughing about stupid things. The hardest part about sitting there was that dinner was starting to smell amazing. It was torturous. That was the downside to having a great hiding place; you were stuck there until you got found.
“Okay, I give up. You guys win. Just come out now,” you heard Fred calling.
“Should we?” you asked George.
“Nah. It’s more fun this way.”
By this point all of the kids were looking for you both, and maybe even the adults. It was hard to tell for sure, considering you were curled up in a cabinet, but you could hear lots of footsteps and your names being called repeatedly.
“Kids, come for dinner!” Mrs. Weasley called.
“What about now?” you asked George, thinking that the seekers would stop looking for you the minute their eyes caught sight of the meal.
George shook his head no and you trusted he knew what he was doing. “Just wait for it…” he whispered.
As if on cue, both the cabinet doors suddenly flew open. You had been caught. You then realized, it was Mrs. Weasley who had caught you and she had yet to notice two children were in place of her kitchen supplies. She was turned and was calling for the older boys to come and set the table.
Slowly, very slowly, she turned around and bent down to tend to the cabinet. George’s face broke into a warm smile, knowing what was coming next.
“AAAH!” she shrieked upon seeing your childish figures cramped into such a small space.  You and George erupted into laughter at her reaction as everyone else scurried in to see what had happened. Mrs. Weasley was leaning against the counter, clutching her heart before she essentially beat you with a dishtowel to get you to come out.
“George! Y/N! What on earth were you thinking? You nearly gave me a heart attack!”
“I’m sorry, Mrs. Weasley! We didn’t mean to. We were just playing hide and seek,” you spoke, innocently enough. Her mood completely changed and it was as if nothing was wrong.
“Well…alright. Go wash up for dinner,” she said.
Fred approached the two of us, “That was brilliant. Couldn’t have done it better myself,” he said, giving you both high fives.
Dinner was full of laughs and merriment as the two families conversed over a lovely meal. George sat across from you at the table and every now and then he would kick your shins and give you that evil grin of his. This was your relationship. You were essentially the second Weasley girl, and according to the twins you were more fun to torment because you could dish it back.
Dinner drew to a close, which meant you could continue playing again. The adults stayed and talked more over tea as you all made up imaginary games, pretending to be people you weren’t. Then, soon, your parents would call you and give you the twenty-minute warning, which always meant you were leaving in an hour. You would say your goodbyes like it was no big deal, but once you started heading home you grew infinitely sadder knowing you’d be playing alone until your next trip to the Burrow.
                                                              X
A lot of time had passed since the hide and seek days. Now, hide and seek was used when you were playing hard to get, which happened quite often now that you were a 5th year. You also didn’t see as much of the Weasleys as you used to. When you were younger, you would go over to the Burrow all the time. But now you only really saw them in passing at Hogwarts. You were still friendly, of course, but you had found yourself in a different friend group.
Recently, you’d been spending a lot more time with the Ravenclaw’s largely because you were dating Roger Davies. You had started dating towards the end of your fourth year and things had been going great. You were particularly excited for the upcoming school year because they had announced the Triwizard Tournament.
The champions had just been announced and you were in  Room of Requirement, sipping a butterbeer and celebrating with a majority of the Hogwarts population.
“Here ye, here ye!” someone called out. Your attention shifted to the center of the room where the Weasley twins were making an announcement.
“As you all know, we are here for two reasons. One: to celebrate the success of our fellow Hogwartsians,” one of them spoke. The crowd cheered. Cedric’s friends clapped him on the back while Harry stood awkwardly in the corner with a handful of Gryffindors from his year.
“And two is to have a bloody good time!” the other twin shouted. That statement was followed by even more applause. People clinked their butterbeer bottles together as the twins made a few more remarks to the group.
You mingled around the party for a bit, keeping your eye out for Roger who hadn’t seemed to arrive yet. After a few butterbeers, you stopped worrying so much about your boyfriend’s whereabouts.
“Who wants to play spin the bottle?” you heard someone call. That certainly caught your attention. All the participants sat in a circle on the floor.
“What rules are we playing tonight?” Cho asked.
Fred spoke next, “Spinner gets one spin. Whoever the bottle lands on can decide if they want one kiss in front of everyone or five minutes in the closet. You only get a re-spin if the bottle lands on yourself. And all wands in the middle of the circle. We don’t need any interference. Sound good?” Everyone nodded in agreement and the festivities ensued.
Since Cedric was the champion, everyone agreed to let him spin first. His bottle landed on Lavender Brown and she chose to enter the closet with Cedric. Cho looked pissed, as she had her eye on Cedric this year. The two emerged from the closet minutes later, Cedric looking sheepish and surprised and Lavender trying to hide the grin creeping up her face.
You waited and waited for your turn, and you found yourself getting bored. You were about to leave the game and head to bed but then you heard your name.
“You’re up.”
The bottle slid over to you and you decided you would leave after your turn was up. You held the glass bottle for a moment before placing it in the middle of the circle and giving it a good spin. The bottle was almost mesmerizing as it completed rotation after rotation before finally slowing down to land on someone. You slowly looked up to see who was at the receiving end of your spin and you internally cringed to see that familiar smile.
“Alright Y/L/N, I will see you in the closet,” he said. Everyone ‘oohed’ like you were preteens as he stood up and made his way to the closet. You reluctantly followed, knowing this was your ticket out of here.
“Well if it isn’t my first girlfriend,” he smiled as you made your way through the door.
“You wish, George. We were six…it didn’t count.”
“That’s what you think.” You rolled your eyes at his comment.
“Just so you know, nothing is happening in here. I have a boyfriend.”
“Ah of course. Well how are things?”
“Things are going great between us. We’ve been dating almost-“
He cut you off, “I wasn’t asking about Roger. I was asking about you. We haven’t talked in a while.”
“We run in different circles, George. We aren’t kids anymore. We’re barely even friends.”
He clenched his heart, “Ouch. That hurts.”
“Well it’s true!”
“Just because we don’t hang out or talk doesn’t mean we’re not friends.”
“Yeah, whatever,” you mumbled.
“I bet I know more about you than your so-called friends, Cho and Marietta. In fact, I think I know more about you than Roger.”
You raised an eyebrow at him, “Is that so? Prove it.”
“Well, I know that your favorite color is purple, your best subject is Charms, and you hate the cold but you love Christmas.”
“That is not that impressive. Roger knows all of that.”
George took a step closer to you, “Does he know that you secretly love watching Muggle movies, you’re ticklish on your left knee and that there’s a little star shaped mole just behind your ear.” He gently tucked your hair behind your ear and ran his finger right over the hidden mole. You looked up into his eyes and felt an unusual feeling that you weren’t sure how to define. For a moment, you thought you saw him leaning in towards you. He was going to kiss you and for some odd reason, you were going to let him. Just as your lips were about to touch he turned away as there was a series of knocks on the door.
“I think our time is up,” you spoke softly. You slid from under his gaze and opened the closet door. “They all bolted…” you stated. The room was full of discarded cups and empty bottles, but no familiar faces to be seen.
“Filch or someone must’ve come by,” he said, “The knock was a warning.” You shrugged and without talking you made your way out of the room. “Heading back to Gryffindor tower?” he asked you. You had briefly thought about going to Ravenclaw tower to check in on Roger, but you decided against it.
The journey was silent, for the most part. Neither of you felt the need to talk. Just as you were about to turn a corner, George grabbed your wrist and pulled you back. You turned back at him confused and he said, “Not that way, we’ll get caught. Filch is usually patrolling that corridor.” You gave him an unamused look, thinking he was just trying to make things difficult when he added, “Trust me.”
You weren’t sure why, but you did trust him. You followed him down a dark hall that you’d never been down before. You hoped he knew where he was going. It was dark and you couldn’t see very well but you didn’t want to give away your position by using Lumos. Out of nowhere, George took your hand and helped guide you down the hallway. You didn’t really understand why he was being so nice to you. You had barely talked over the years, aside from the occasional family gathering.
Your thoughts were interrupted by a sudden pop of light. You looked up and the two of you were face to face with Professor McGonagall.
“Professor,” he spoke.
“Mr. Weasley…Ms. Y/L/N. Is there a reason you two are out of bed past curfew?” she asked you sternly.
“Yes, but it’s not a very good one,” you said. You were toast. If it had been Flitwick or Moody you could’ve talked your way out of it, but McGonagall was too strict. You only hoped your punishment wasn’t too severe.
“Ten points will be taken from Gryffindor. Each. And you will report for detention later this week.”
“Yes ma’am,” George spoke.
“Now back to bed, both of you!” You scurried past her as you realized how close you were to the common room.
“So much for not getting caught,” you muttered.
“Hey, lay off it. I was trying to help,” he snapped. “Sometimes you can be such a bitch,” he added under his breath.  You weren’t expecting that, but you admittedly deserved it.
You reached the common room and you went in and immediately went up to your room. You curled up in bed and tried to sleep as best I could.

5 Galleons Pt. 1
Tumblr media
Pairing: Fred Wealey x Reader
Rating: E
Word Count: 2.7k
Warnings: THIS PARTICULAR PART CONTAINS NO SMUT. Fluff and angst with smut in pt. 2, slight praise kink, blowjobs, unprotected sex, PIV sex, Fred bets that he can bed you by the end of the week.
"Oh, you could never, Weasley," McLaggen challenged, pulling his Gryffindor jumper over his head. Fred flexed his fingers, unable to back down from a dare.
"Yeah, what makes you say that?" Fred smoothed down the front of his button up, a devious spark lighting up his eyes. George slapped the back of his brother, in a way that Fred thought he was trying to expel his bad thoughts.
"The Hufflepuff Princess? She makes Hermoine Granger look like a party animal," George laughed. Fred snorted, letting his mind wander to the girl they were talking about.
The sixth year student that was tonight's focus of the Gryffindor locker room was nicknamed the Hufflepuff Princess because of her uptight academic nature. She and Hermione were best friends, spending countless hours in the library studying together. Really, they should've been Ravenclaws.
But, Merlin, was she beautiful. Fred shared Potions and Charms class with her, but of course he sat in the back poking fun of the lecture while she sat attentively in the front. He would admire her neat, almost sterile appearance, but mostly he admired how her golden robes fitted her body. Fred thought back to the time they were paired up for a Potions assignment and he accidentally stirred clockwise instead of counter, making the concoction explode all over her robes. When she shed her stained robes, Fred couldn't take his eyes off of the way her white button-up cinched her waist, accentuating every curve. Not to mention how her old skirt was getting ever-so slightly too tight and too short. Unfortunately, according to the locker room, everyone else noticed her behind her rigidness and wanted a chance at loosening her up.
Fred was determined that he would get her to fold. Surely, he had the best chances since he had actually talked to her and if he didn't soften all his attempts at getting to know her with bad jokes, they might even be friends.
"Let's make this interesting. 2 Galleons if you can do it, mate," McLaggen pursed his lips. This caused Fred and George to laugh with great delight. The other members of the Quidditch team were listening in with matched curiosity.
"Say, 5 Galleons if I can do it by the end of the week. This Friday after the Hufflepuff Gryffindor game," Fred boasted, which caused a chorus of bewildered coos. Fred felt powerful leading the group to the Great Hall for dinner, but he felt even more powerful knowing that they doubted him.
"I'll take that bet. There's no way you bed her at the end of this week," McLaggen laughed, holding open the door for Fred.
"Oh, you'll see."
---
He tried to talk her up in the Great Hall during dinner, but the Gryffindors were watching like it was a show unfolding.
"Hey," he said in a cool tone, sitting down beside her and her friend that he had never met. "Did you, er, finish the Potions homework?"
She set down her goblet with an amused look on her face. Fred was fixated on the way her hair was pulled back and out of her face, not a single strand out of place.
"I haven't started it. Why? Do you need help on it?" She looked embarrassed because her friend started giggling uncontrollably. Fred smirked, deciding to go in for the kill.
"Yeah, I've been struggling with it. I can't say no to some one-on-one tutoring. Are you free tonight?" He locked eyes with her, hoping that she wouldn't say no. Her stammering caused a flutter in his chest. Fred quickly glanced over to the Gryffindors that had their eyes trained on him, but looked back at her quickly with a grin, praying that she didn't hear the laughs and not-so-silent cheering from the other table. Luckily, her back was to them.
"I- Yes. I'm free," She said sheepishly, looking back down at her plate. As Fred stood up to leave, he decided to add a little flourish for the onlooking crowd. Fred lifted her face with two fingers, tilting her head up to look at him. He clenched his jaw while dirty thoughts started to swirl around his mind.
"Sounds like a date," Fred smirked, leaving her stunned and her face as red as the Gryffindor's table runner. When he walked away from the Hufflepuff table, he threw a wink to Cormac and George.
---
You gathered up all your Potions notes nervously, checking the clock for the third time already. Your best friend laughed at the disheveled sight of you, a certainly welcomed change.
"I can't believe you're acting like this over Fred Weasley. You know, he's not even going to pay attention. He's going to be too busy trying to get in your pants," you threw a pillow at your friend who turned into a giggling fit. "Don't worry, I'll cover you when the other prefect does bed checks!"
You descended down into the Central Hall, looking around the large mermaid fountain for Fred. You couldn't help but think of your friend's comments, despite the larger nagging feeling of wanting it to be true. Fred Weasley was truly the antithesis of who you were: handsomely disordered, outspoken, and popular. You convinced yourself that he was this way with every girl, thinking back to the time he made a lame pass at Angelina Johnson at the Quidditch Pitch during an open practice for everyone to see. You found Fred attractive the reason you found Muggle Studies interesting: the mystification of the entire idea. You shook you head with a silent laugh to yourself. How could you be interested in a boy you compared to an extracurricular class?
"Sorry I'm late, love," Fred crept up behind you, making you jump a little. You turned around with a small frown on you face. He was only carrying his potions book, with his wand and quill sticking haphazardly out of his pocket. His shirt was half untucked, with no tie adorning his neck. You couldn't help but get distracted at how the unbuttoned top of his shirt highlighted his collarbones and- Before you could come up with another thought, you cleared your throat.
"It's fine. Shall we?" You gestured towards the library doors. Before you turned your back towards him to head towards the library, you swear you could see a smirk on his face. He swiftly moved past you so that he could open the door for you. "Oh, what a gentleman."
"I try," Fred let you lead him to your favorite part of the library, your own little study corner. It was a secluded nook with two large plush chairs that faced a large window that overlooked the grounds. You were surprised that it was always available to you when you wanted, probably because it was so far back into the library.
"This is cozy," Fred plopped down on one of the armchairs, enchanting the other one closer to him. "And so far from the prying eyes of the public."
You ignored his suggestive tone and opened your potions book to the lesson that was covered today. Admittedly, you had trouble with brewing Veritaserum, due to its maturing phase. You were sure you had it down, but you wouldn't know until the next lunar phase. While the class was to wait for the potion to be ready, you had to memorize its other properties. It was easy enough to go over it with Fred, making you wonder why he needed your help in the first place. He had paid attention for the past hour, asking you strictly academic questions that made you actually flip through your notes for the answer.
"Virtually water... Makes one confess...," Fred mused aloud, penning down his notes. He looked up at you with a devious grin. "And what kind of secrets would you be spilling if you had a sip of Vertiaserum?"
You felt your face get hot as you looked up from your own writing to meet Fred's watchful gaze. You bit your lip nervously, trying to think of something to say.
"Probably something better than any secrets you're hiding," You said, feeling pretty lame at your answer. You couldn't possibly outwit the king of wit himself. Fred chuckled and seemed as if he was reaching a hand out towards you, but restrained himself.
"Ahem. Should we be absolutely studious and get a head start on tomorrow's lesson," Fred said, out of character. You were surprised at his suggestion, but flipped forward to the lesson prepared for tomorrow. Fred laughed at your reaction to the heading title of tomorrow's chapter: Amortentia.
。゚★: *.✦ .* :★.
The class gathered around the cauldron that bubbled with a pearly substance.  "Does anyone know what potion this is?" asked the professor, looking over at the eager crowd. You raised your hand ready to answer, but much to the class's surprise, Fred blurted out the answer. He had moved closer to where you were standing, probably to say something witty during the lesson.
"Amortentia," Fred smirked at you, causing you to look away quickly. You turned your attention back to the shimmering liquid, hypnotized by the way it moved. The professor looked happily surprised at the way his goofiest student was able to answer the question.
"Very good, Mr. Weasley," He praised, giving a nod of approval. "Really, it was all thanks to her," Fred complimented, patting you on the shoulder. The rest of the class looked at you with the same surprise as the professor's but you simply waved you hand dismissively.
"Ah, clever as well as humble. Very well. Points to Gryffindor and Hufflepuff for being so studious," the professor smiled. "Now, we are studying this potion today because it is the most powerful and dangerous concoction known to wizard kind. It doesn't create real love, however, but instead an obsessive infatuation to the drinker. Its scent also differs for each person, drawing on what the person finds attractive. Now, go ahead and take a whiff. How about our scholars first?" The professor invited you and Fred up to the bubbling cauldron. Fred stepped up first, taking a deep breath. He frowned and looked back at you, waving a hand to signal you to step back.
"What's wrong?" You asked, stepping even closer.
"Nothing. Could you back up? Your perfume is overpowering anything in this caul-" Fred began, stopping mid-sentence when he realized the rest of the class started giggling. His face heated up, almost matching the color of his hair.
"I didn't put on any perfume this morning. I was running late," You said in a low, shaky voice. Your heartbeat was racing. Fred quickly stepped back from the cauldron, making his way back to the class to hide in the sea of students. You took a big gulp before stepping up to smell the cauldron yourself. A mixture of leather and grass as well as firewood filled your nose. You didn't want to admit it, but you thought you caught a small whiff of a musky pine cologne. The leather grassy smell brought you to the Quidditch Pitch and you shook your head trying to focus on the lecture instead. You ignored the urge to find Fred in the crowd, instead pulling out your Potions notebook. Once the class dismissed, you quickly left the classroom, hoping to avoid Fred. You decided that he was simply making a joke for the entire crowd and you ducked your head as you walked to Divination class.
---
When you told your friend about what had happened in Potions class, she squealed with such delight, even the Ravenclaw table looked over at the two of you. You thanked Merlin that the Gryffindor table was on the other end of the Great Hall. You wanted to be the first to tell your best friend about what happened in an attempt to beat the rumor mill.
"That's so cute! What did you smell?" Your best friend gushed, completely forgetting her dinner. You felt your face get hot, shoveling another bite into your mouth in order to distract yourself.
"I think he was just making a joke. He's like that. Remember Angelina Johnson? Anyways, I smelled the Qudditch Pitch, you know, leather and grass. And fire. I have no idea what that means though," You shrugged.
"I think you know exactly what it means," Your best friend beamed.
"Ah, you're talking about Quidditch? Does that mean you're ready for this weekend's game? It's going to be a tough one. I've been telling people that Hufflepuff is on the up and up," Cedric Diggory, the Hufflepuff Quidditch captain, leaned over into your conversation. You hoped that the Amortentia was actually about Cedric, your longtime friend and childhood crush. You felt like there was always some tension between you two, but since the both of you felt too close to let something frivolous ruin your relationship, the both of you agreed to be friends. That didn't mean he was one of the handsomest boys in your grade, though, and being the Quidditch house captain only added to his attractiveness. You looked over at the Gryffindor table where Fred was telling some grandiose story with both his hands, trying to deflect your thoughts. Tonight, your had asked your friend to switch seats with her in a not-so discreet attempt to see if Fred would tell the other Gryffindors about class today. He didn't seem like he was informing his other housemates of his embarrassment during class, but he did catch you staring and threw a wink at you.
"I think I'm going to get started on my homework now so I can get it all done before this weekend," You stood up after Fred winked at you, rushing out of the Great Hall. Your friend waved you off as you exited through the side doors into the outdoor courtyard. You decided to take the long way back to your common room in order to avoid any unwanted questions. Unfortunately, before you could make it halfway across the courtyard, you turned your head at the sounds of the Great Hall doors opening after you. Fred emerged from the doors, humming happily. You took a deep breath, weighing your choices between running and hexing him.
"Hey! Can we talk?" Fred called out. Your body decided to freeze and all you could do was turn around slowly and nod. "Come on, walk with me. We'll need a little more privacy than this.
Fred lead you to the side of the courtyard corridor, then backed you up into the corner, effectively pinning you between the wall and himself. He leaned against the wall on one shoulder and pushed his hair out of his face, giving that famous Weasley smirk. You felt like you could barely breathe from the nervousness. You swear you could hear his racing heartbeat as well.
"I think everyone has said everything they possibly could about what happened in Potions today. I don't want to talk about that. Instead, I want to propose a bet," Fred stared intently at you, pleased at your bumbling state. You cursed him in your head. You never wavered to anyone, why was he so different?
"Oh? And what's that? Hopefully something about how you'll finish all your assignments on time?" You asked, meeting his gaze. Fred laughed and stood up straight.
"Yeah, right. No, it's about this weekend's Quidditch game. If Gryffindor wins, you have to come to our afterparty. And wear your hair down," Fred wagered, flicking your ponytail jokingly. Your face turned red, but you hoped that the firelight of the nearby brazier hid it. You could nearly gather your thoughts, however, you couldn't let Fred's smugness continue.
"Alright. What do I get if Hufflepuff wins?" You countered, fixing your hair.
"Love, we know that won't be happening," Fred laughed when you pushed on his chest defensively.
"How about you do my Potions homework for two weeks?" You really couldn't think of anything that wanted from him.
"Ugh, pick something fun," Fred groaned.
"Fine, if Hufflepuff wins, you come to our afterparty. Without my help sneaking in, so I hope you don't get sprayed by vinegar," You suggested, crossing your arms. As the words left your mouth, you wished you never suggested that. The whole ordeal seemed to be in his favor. You would just have to make sure that he didn't know the password to your common room so that you could see him doused in vinegar. His smirk made you less confident.
"Oh, deal."

Warnings: Talks and feelings of depression
Y/Ns POV
Depression. Some people understand it and some people just think it’s a cry for attention. For some people, it starts with a traumatic event for others there’s seemingly no reason for it. I  was one of those people who fell into the later category. There was no apparent reason for her depression, it was just there. It started with feeling irritated over small things or issues, I didn’t look forward to spending time with anyone so I avoided it at every possible chance, I didn’t feel like studying at all, I just wanted to stay in my bed away from everyone. I was losing enthusiasm for life and no one really noticed because I was able to paint on a fake smile every day and act like I was fine. And if I faltered in the act I’d just tell people I was having a bad day or something like that to stop them from asking questions, I made sure to always have a book in my hand even if I wasn’t reading it.

Third Person POV
“Ladies,” Fred and George greeted Angelina and Katie in a charismatic tone as George threw his arms around the two girls.
“Morning guys,” They responded in an equally cheery tone.
“Where’s Y/n?” Fred asked, his smile faltering slightly when he couldn’t see her.
“Still in bed, she said she said she had a headache,” Katie answered, with a sympathetic smile on her face.
“Again?” He asked, remembering how often she’d used this reason recently.
“It’s probably all the studying she’s been doing,” Angelina added, with a small sigh.
“Yeah,” both of the red haired boys agreed. But something was playing on Freds mind. He had known for a while that something was wrong with Y/n, he didn’t know what but she was different now. Even when she was reading her favourite books, he noticed that her eyes wouldn’t light up the same way as they did before. Her smile wasn’t as large and carefree as it was a few months ago, it was smaller, forced. She seemed distant; normally she’d be the first to plan something to do on the weekends, the first to have the idea of throwing a party for any special occasion, Gryffindor winning a Quidditch match, finishing exams, birthdays, now if she had a day off she just stayed in her room. He needed to know what was wrong, he needed to know how to help..
“You guys go on ahead, I forgot my potions book,” Fred said quickly before turning round and heading to the common room.

Y/Ns POV
Scrunching my eyes shut I mentally sighed as I heard the door to the room open, dread washing over me at the prospect of having to interact with another person, I wanted nothing more than to remain tucked safely beneath the covers away from the world. But it would seem I couldn’t be that lucky.Having fully expected to hear Angelina or Katie’s voice, I prepared myself to put on a smile and a cheery disposition, the very thought invoking the opposite of what I set to achieve however, but the familiar tone that filled my ears was far too masculine and low to be Angelina or Katie.
“Y/n/n,” it was gentle, but expectant. The familiar voice alluring enough that I found myself lowering the duvet from over my head. Propping myself up onto an elbow, I turned to look over my shoulder and true enough there stood Fred in the process of shutting the door, effectively locking us away from prying eyes and ears; an action which I was extremely grateful for.
“Fred? What are you doing here?” I had no doubt that the confusion was evident on my face, though with Fred I didn’t mind that he saw behind the mask I had made for myself. It was a subconscious habit of mine, one that I hated, though I knew that no matter how much effort I put into trying, he’d see the real me regardless. He always had, ever since we were young.
“Katie said you had a headache,” and there it was. His tone and expression were enough to tell me he knew it was a lie, he wasn’t buying my excuse for a second. Part of me wanted nothing more than to tell him the truth, tell him about everything I’d kept bottled up inside. I wanted to be honest with him,  like we always had, but at the same time I didn’t want him thinking any less of me.
“Okay?” Maybe if I just played it cool he’d  take the hint and leave me be.
“I didn’t believe her,” narrowing his eyes, I watched as he steadily closed the distance between us both.
Why couldn’t he just take the hint? It wasn’t his fault, I knew it wasn’t.
“What?” I cursed myself for how wobbly my voice was. Coming to stand by the side of my bed, crossing his arms as he studied  me, his eyes searching mine for the truth.
“You always seem to have a headache recently,” he pointed out, tilting his head to the side, pressing his lips together. I could see his thoughts racing behind his eyes, mind racing to put the pieces of the puzzle together.
“Cos I’ve been reading a lot that’s all,” I mumbled, attempting to stir him away from what he was thinking but it was half hearted, even for me.
“That’s a lie and we both know it,” I noticed how his eyes grew soft, though I could also see the determination in his gestures.
“Fred I don’t know what you’re talking about,”
Please Freddie, stop, I thought to myself. I couldn’t do this. Not now, not with him...
“Yes, you do,” sighing through his nose, he watched as I pushed myself up into a sitting position, straightening out the covers to rest over my lap as I looked up at him. “You’ve been different for a while now, sadder,”
“Fred, I’m fine,” I lied. I wasn’t. I really wasn’t. All I wanted to do was curl up back into a ball, tucked away into the darkness that was offered to me whilst under the duvet. The curtains were still drawn, and finally I had some time to be alone.
“No, you’re not,” with a groan I sighed running hand through my hair in frustration, though not a moment later my head shot up at the feeling of a weight dipping the side of my bed. I just wanted him to stop...I could feel myself reaching my breaking point and the last thing I wanted to do was breakdown infront Fred.
Fred had sat himself beside me, and I could feel the tears brimming in my eyes as the following words left his mouth, “Y/n/n, I’ve known you since we were eight years old, I know when something’s wrong,”
Eyes widening, I noticed as the panic flooded over Fred for all of a few seconds as the tears cascade down my cheeks. I’d been fighting them off for so long now,  pushing them aside in a desperate bid to collect myself and not breakdown.
Of course he knew, he saw me, he always had. I wasn’t used to it, Katie and Angelina, they were good friends, but they didn’t really understand me. They didn’t see behind my mask, they didn’t know anything was wrong. But Fred, he saw me, the real me, the me behind the mask I so desperately tried to hide behind.
“I can’t do this anymore Fred… I just, I feel so alone. I feel so unmotivated and, and I don’t…” not knowing how to express the overwhelming emotions, I could feel my voice trail off as the sobs took over me. My breath caught momentarily  in my throat as Fred leaned forward and drew me into his embrace.I couldn’t remember the last time someone had held me, nor the last someone had looked at me- really looked at me. He pulled me into his lap and I let him, clinging onto his shirt and he does nothing but rub a hand soothingly over my back, whispering words of reassurance and comfort into my hair as my tears soak into his shirt
It felt like hours had passed, though, really it couldn’t be more than five minutes, but when I pulled away, with a trembling lip, I furiously wiped away at the tears still staining my cheeks. I felt  better for getting it out of my system, but at the same time embarrassment washed over, I hated myself for breaking down on him the way I did. This is exactly what I wanted to avoid,
“I’m sorry,” I apologised, though my voice was  quiet, I knew it was thick with emotion that was overflowing through me, but he seemed to hear me loud and clear. Not a second later a hand reached out to my chin, lifting my face towards him. His touch was gentle, but firm enough that I allowed the action, more out of shock
“Don’t you dare, you have absolutely nothing to apologise for.” His eyes soften as he gazes down at me, “Why didn’t you tell me?” I feel his breath fan over my face as he speaks.
“I didn’t know how, I couldn’t just randomly bring it up in conversation,” talking to someone, was so much easier said than done. And Fred, he was always so cheerful and witty, I didn’t want to bring him down, nor did I want to burden him with my feelings. Feelings that not even I could properly explain, let alone expect someone else to understand.
My gaze drops to his collar, eyes whipping away the few stray tears that I could feel running down my cheeks before I  put the lid back onto my feelings, though before I could even consider it I felt him gently nudge my back.
“Come on,” he urges softly with a short nod towards the door
“Where are we going?” I asked, with a furrowed brow, turning to look at him, my eyes clearly saying what I didn’t trust my voice to ask.
“Outside,” the two syllables were enough to send pure terror into my veins, my heart skipping a beat, my mind firmly against the idea of wandering from the security that my dorm room offered.
“Fred I really don’t-”
“Don’t want to, I know but we’re going to,” brushing some stray strands of  hair back from my face as he smiles down at me with a twinkle in his eye.
“Trust me,” he whispered softly, intertwining his hand with mine. I wanted to say no, part of me wanted to pull my hand away from his and go back to hiding under my duvet, but when I looked into his eyes, I felt my heart swell, knowing in my heart I was going to do what he wanted

Third Person POV
Y/n couldn’t  remember the last time she went to the lake nor the last time she watched the sunset but she  couldn’t deny the beauty of the scene before her. The sun had set, but the afterglow from the sunset was continuing to flood through the sky. A mixture of ever changing shades of orange and red coloured the sky. It was breathtaking. And for the first time in a long time, Y/n was smiling. It wasn’t a fake smile, it was real and pure. She found herself feeling completely at peace with the world; the tranquility of the scene seeming to momentarily wash away the negativity she’d felt.
“It’s  beautiful,” Y/n breathed.
“I thought you might like it,” Fred cooed, squeezing her hand lightly. It wasn’t until this simple action that she knew she was still holding his hand, that she hadn’t let go of his hand since they were in the common room. The pair stayed like that for a while, watching as the fiery shades of the sky faded into shades of violet.
“Thank you for bringing me here, Freddie,” she whispered, turning around slightly to hug him.
“ Anytime,” Fred whispered back, his arms wrapping around her waist, hugging her back. When the pair pulled away from the hug slightly, their eyes locked with each others; after a short time Freds eyes wandered down to her lips, his heart was beating so fast he was surprised Y/n couldn’t hear it. He wanted to kiss her. He wanted to show her how much he loved her. They’d always been close, ever since they were children but it wasn’t until last year that he began to fall for her, but he didn’t want to ruin the friendship that they’d had for so long if she didn’t feel the same. But in this moment, he felt a surge of bravery he hadn’t felt before, so he leaned down to kiss her but as he did so, she pulled away.
“Are you sure?” Y/n asked, the anxiety evident in her voice as her eyes flicked between his lips and his dreamy brown eyes.
I’ve never been more sure of anything, love.” she couldn’t deny the way her heart fluttered as his soothingly soft voice said those words. He delicately moved his hand to her face, reassuringly caressing her cheek as he closed the gap between the two of them. As soon as his lips touched hers she felt like all time had stopped, instantly reciprocating his actions and kissing him back. A mixture of giddiness and passion erupted in the kiss, their lips moulding  together in perfect synchronisation. A joyful smile was on both of their faces when they pulled away from the kiss, placing their foreheads together.
“You’re not alone anymore, love. I’m always going to be here for you and I’m always going to love you,” his words were not just a declaration of love, but a promise also. A promise that no matter how dark the days seemed, he was always going to be by her side, whether she needed to cry, scream or just sit in silence, he would be there with her,  he would remind her every day how strong and brilliant she was. And that gave her hope, hope that her darkest days might not be so dark anymore with him at her side.

I was wondering if you can write a Fred Weasley x my oc (hannah) thing. Of course, you can use y/n it doesn’t matter to me. I’ll just use Hannah whole explaining because it’s easier for me. So for backstory, Hannah is originally from Canada and is a slytherin. She’s a year below Fred and George (having been born in October the same year as them) and has been close friends since first year. So maybe you can do something with Hannah and Fred becoming a couple. So let’s say this takes place in Order if the Phoenix because it’s my favourite book. So it doesn’t really matter what you do, I just want it to be cute and fluffy and sweet. I’m sure I’ll love whatever you come up with.
first oc request so this was fun :3 also it was hard and i'm not to sure this is any good rip.
flame.
Fred Weasley x OCHannah!Reader
Summary : shorter version of the request sorry i try and keep everything short bc i have commitment issues :o
Warnings : smoking; unedited.
Word Count : 487
A/N : inbox is open !!!
the masterlist.
request here.
Hannah, unable to sleep drags herself out of bed to leave the Slytherin Dungeon for some fresh air.
She ascends up the staircase to find a possibly familiar figure leaning out an pane-less window down the corridor, smoke rising into the air above them.
She rubs her eyes to make sure she's not mistaken and that it's not her just seeing things. After tiredly rubbing her eyes, the blurry figure remains in front of her.
"Fred?" Hannah asks, jogging over to the end of the corridor, her legs chilly from a light breeze and making the mistake of wearing shorts to bed.
"Hannah?" Fred muffles, quickly turning around to face you. The first thing you notice is the hand rolled cigarette balanced loosely in between his lips.
"So I'm not seeing things," she giggles, hopping beside Fred to look out the window he leans against.
"Why are you up?" Fred asks, turning to look at her with seriousness.
"Felt homesick," you mutter eyeing his cigarette with jealousy. "You know just thinking about home and my parents."
"You should write to them," Fred suggests, smirking, knowing that you very badly want to smoke as well.
"You know I'm not good at that kind of stuff," Hannah shrugs, playing with the strings of her hoodie. "Besides, I just- I don't know."
She takes in a deep inhale of the crisp air mixed with Fred's intoxicating smoke. She stares out at the stars longingly, for what? She wasn't sure, but had a good idea that she was trying to ignore.
If one paid close enough attention, when Hannah turned back to face Fred, her eyes lightened up, even in the dimness of the night. A spark flickered in her eyes whenever she spoke with Fred, even after all these years her feeling hadn't changed one bit.
"Can I have one," Hannah finally asks, swallowing her pride.
"Yeah, sure," Fred grins teasingly as he takes out another cigarette. He then lights it up for her, only giving Hannah the small paper roll when smoke rises from the end.
Hannah graciously takes the cigarette, placing it gently between her lips and taking in a big inhale.
The smoke mixes in her stomach and suddenly she feels something pressure her downwards into the grown. She feels herself blush as Fred stares down into her eyes, not looking a way for a second.
When she moves her arm to let out the smoke from her lips, it all happens so fast she could barely believe it.
Just as the cigarette is removed from her lips Fred grabs her cheek raising it close to his face. Their lips connect and the cigarette is slips from Hannah's fingers.
Fred holds Hannah's cheek with one hand and the other is hooked onto her waist. When the kiss breaks and Hannah takes a deep breath, the comforting smoke warps around her, and the flame in her eye persists.

preview of my upcoming fic - 'yellow'
this was 0.9k words btw. obviously, this was not proofread yet!!
Periwinkle was the colour of the twin’s swaddling blanket when Molly and Arthur Weasley brought their newborn twins home from the hospital. The bright blue contrasted against the dull maroon of their beaming parents’ outfits. The shade also served as a clear indication of their twins’ gender. The same blue followed them as party decorations that adorned across their warm living room when Molly and Arthur held a sip & see party for their friends and relatives to celebrate their childs’ arrival together. It seemed that the guests had the same idea of wrapping their push presents with the colour blue – because at the end of the day, their dining table were drowned by the various hues of blue thanks to the stacks of presents they received. Unwittingly, the day Fred was born was also the first day that the colour blue was introduced into his life.
Ever since then, Fred had always showed a preference for the colour blue. It was the first colour that Fred has associated himself with, mainly because he was taught to just accept it as a colour that represented him. Molly had decided that the eldest twin would be colour-coded blue while the youngest would be green – just so that the rest won’t have a hard time to differentiate the twins together. That would mean that while Fred’s jumper comes in lapis blue, George’s was basil green. When Fred’s bedsheet was dyed in oxford blue, George’s was in emerald green. Heck, even their undergarments were colour-coded; Fred’s was tinged in a shade of teal while George’s was in forest green.
Even at a young age, Fred has always been known as someone who preferred to live life easily. He was a child who just accepted facts without knowing its rationales, so he could easily say that blue was his favourite colour without questioning himself why. However, as the years passed by and Fred starts to grow a little taller and older, he decided that it was time that he paid more attention to what he likes and dislikes.
Just during the period when Fred was about to start his first year in Hogwarts, Fred silently declared to himself that from then onwards, his favourite colour would be orange. After all, it was the colour of the hair that runs in the entire family, and dare he say, the entirety of his house (Molly would probably deny this if he confronted). Fred doesn’t tell anyone, but he’s convinced that the colour of his blood and the rest of his family members is orange and not red like what his anatomy books had told him.
To further commit to his stance, he made sure that the clothes he bought for the upcoming school year were mostly orange. It can’t be helped that his wardrobe still contained traces of blue, since it was the colour that he grew up with. Furthermore, it’s too wasteful to throw it all away. Also, he’s sure that his mother would nag his ear off if she were to ever find his old clothes lying in the trashcan.
Fred also secretly bought a pot of orange ink to use for school without his parent’s knowledge. He decided to use the money he got from Aunt Muriel who had gifted the cash to him as an early birthday gift. Though honestly, he was unsure if he would ever get a chance to use the bright orange ink in school. Mostly because students are only allowed to use black ink for writing. But hey, Fred made a commitment - and he was going to stick to it.
Unfortunately, Molly found the jar on the day before Fred was supposed to get onto the Hogwarts Express for the first time. Fred was never a neat person. So when Molly came into the twin’s room to help them pack properly for school, she had accidentally kicked something hard under the pile of Fred’s clothing that he had set aside near his trunk. Thinking nothing of it, Molly only wanted to pick up the item that she had accidentally kicked and put it back into place out of respect. Consequently, that led to Molly picking up the jar, and realizing instantly that no one in the family had orange ink in their possessions. Only until when Molly turned the glass over to read the tag under, she yelled out the older twin’s name out of anger and pure shock. At that moment, she simply could not believe that her son Fred Weasley had spent a large amount of money on a small jar of coloured ink under her damn nose. In the end, Molly Weasley did nagged his poor ear off. Literally.
Clearly, Fred Weasley was truly committed to the colour orange.
It became a huge part of his daily life now – the jumper under his robe, his quills that he use for school (somehow, he managed to dye it even), the orange candies that were scattered on his desks, his everything. Yet somehow, there was a tiny part of him that was still unsure if he loves the colour orange. Maybe, if he was feeling bored, he would go with the colour red just to mix it up a bit. The reasons were simple; it was the colours of his house. His tie, his robes, his dorm – red was a colour that was impossible for him to avoid.
Still, Fred wasn’t exactly sick of the colour orange. The word ‘sick’ is too strong of a word to describe such a feeling. He would just say that he was so used to see the colour orange that he got numb to it. He wouldn’t mind living in a world of orange. He was just comfortable, yet never satisfied.
This phase lasted until his fourth year, just when his fifteenth birthday was round the corner.
