Weddings were supposed to be happy. They were supposed to be joyful celebrations, with all the people who mattered most. Even in the midst of a brewing war, I thought Bill and I would get that. One night of a break before returning our attention to all the terrible things going on in the world.
I guess I should've known better.
One minute, I was twirling across the dancefloor in the arms of my new husband, sharing a smile as the rest of the world faded away. In that moment, despite everything going on outside of our wedding, the world felt perfect.
The next minute, a glowing lynx had burst through the ceiling and into the middle of the dancefloor, announcing the fall of the Ministry of Magic and the death of the Minister along with it. The reception descended into chaos, people screaming and running as the protective enchantments around the giant tent fell one by one. It had been absolute chaos, and I barley remembered Bill grabbing my hand and getting us both out of there as the Death Eaters arrived.
Now, I sat on the sofa in Shell Cottage, where we were supposed to start our honeymoon. The place had glowed with warmth and coziness the first time we'd visited, but now it seemed all too dark, cold, and deserted.
"I just let my dad know we're alright," Bill said, coming back into the living room. He'd stepped outside to send a Patronus to his dad, to make sure the family wouldn't worry about us. "Hopefully we'll hear back from him soon."
I nodded, a little numbly, as my new husband crossed the room and waved his wand to start a fire in the fireplace. Once he'd finished, he came to sit next to me on the couch. We both stayed there for a few long moments, shoulder to shoulder and staring into the flames. I have no idea how long we would've stayed there on our own, but another glowing Patronus shot into the room not much later, this one the familiar shape of a weasel.
Bill's dad's voice came from the Patronus to tell us the rest of the family was safe, and that they'd be in touch when they could. A bit of the weight lifted off my chest, but a lot of it still remained. As the light of the Patronus and Arthur's voice faded, the darkness crept back in, despite the fire.
"Y/N?" I looked up to see Bill's concerned face. "Love, you're crying."
I raised a hand to my cheek to find he was right. Tears were streaming down my face, and the second I was forced to recognize it, a dam broke inside me.
I fell forward into Bill's chest as I sobbed, and he wrapped his arms around me. He held me tight, rubbing one hand soothingly up and down my back.
"It's going to be alright," he muttered into my hair, his own voice miraculously calm. I just cried harder.
"How can you say that, Bill?" I wailed. "We almost got killed at our own wedding, and now the Ministry has completely fallen. How can you possibly say that we're going to make it through this alright?"
He took a deep, shaky breath, then gently pulled me back from him enough that he could look me in the eye. His eyes shone and his eyebrows were furrowed, mirroring the distress I felt. But there was a grim set to the line of his mouth that signaled a quiet, unbreakable determination.
"We will make it through this," he promised. He gripped my shoulders a little tighter, leaning in until we were almost nose to nose. "We will get to our happy ending, no matter what."
I laughed a little through the tears, Bill's absolute conviction so ridiculous it brought a smile to my face.
"How can you be so sure?" I asked. He grinned.
"Because it's us. We just got married. That means we're a team, for the rest of our lives, against anything else the world wants to throw at us. And I happen to know that we make a fantastic team. I personally pity anyone who bets against us."
I giggled again, leaning into Bill as he leaned into me. No one else in the world could've lifted my spirits in this moment, other than the man sitting beside me. Which, of course, was no small part of the reason I'd married him.
"Come on," Bill said after a minute, standing and holding out his hand to me. "I believe we were in the middle of something before those bastards crashed our wedding."
I shook my head, still smiling anyway as I took his hand and he pulled me to my feet. Still in my wedding dress, and with Bill still in his suit, we came together in the middle of the living room in Shell Cottage to finish the slow dance that had been interrupted. His arms wrapped tightly around me and I rested my head on his chest while the last of the tears dried on my face.
"You're right," I mumbled, my voice barely loud enough for him to hear. "You're right, we will get through this. And I'll personally make sure anyone who tries to hurt us comes to regret it."
Bill huffed a laugh and tightened his arms around me.
"I have absolutely no doubts about that."
I pulled back to smile into the face of the man I loved, and after a moment, he leaned in and kissed me. We stayed like that for a long time, swaying in the middle of our living room, kissing occasionally, but mostly just enjoying the fact that we were still here, together and whole, after everything that had happened.
In the warm, flickering glow of the firelight, the darkness of the cottage started to regain its cozy feeling, and a tiny spark of joy for the thought of the future rekindled itself in my chest.

A Day in the City
Pairing: Bill Weasley x Reader
It hadn't taken much for you to convince your boyfriend to come into the muggle part of the city with you. You just wanted to dress up and show him some of your favorite places. You wanted to hold his hand and walk down the streets taking in the lights of the city at night.
You wanted to be normal for a day.
Bill was a curse breaker and a damned good one. You worked in the newly formed reconstruction department of the ministry that was trying to set things to rights after the war. Both jobs were stressful and more dangerous than they sounded. This was a much deserved escape for the both of you.
It was nearing the end of the day and you were headed to your favorite restaurant. As you stepped off the underground you could hear the sweet sounds of a violin playing. You smiled at the man and his instrument, Bill joining you.
Before you realized what he was doing, he raised your arm and twirled you in a small dance. Your laughter rang in the air, his echoing as he pulled you back into his arms.
The two of you looked at each other for a long moment and he traced a finger down your cheek. "Marry me?"
You blinked in surprise. "Huh?" Well, that was eloquent.
He grinned again. "Marry me? Be Mrs. William Weasley. Have my children. Buy an owl with me. Whatever you want, just be mine." He pulled a velvet box from the pocket of his coat and flipped it open to reveal the perfect ring.
You stretched up and kissed him sweetly. "I'm already yours, Bill, but of course I'll marry you."

🌱 Bill Weasley x best friend!reader!
Charlie, and y/n convince Bill to go out for drinks while he is home for a visit. Charlie pushes both about there 'secret crushes' for one another. The next morning bill wakes with y/n in his arms to find they also have matching wedding bands and a marriage certificate witnessed by the bartender and Charlie.
YESS sorry i love this idea sorry it took so long to write omg !!! tags: drinking, i've never been to a bar so if i get anything wrong please tell me, light cussing, hangover descriptions, romantic themes, lmk if i missed any and as always enjoy! <33
"Oh c'mon Bill, it'll be fun" you pressed, eyes fixated on the red-headed boy at the table, who rolled his eyes at your antics. Charlie was in. Well actually, it was his idea to go down to the bar tonight, as Bill had been pretty stressed recently. Obviously you jumped at the chance, you hated seeing anyone, much less Bill, like this.
Though it took a lot of convincing, 4 sickles out of Charlie's pocket, and 20 minutes for you all to get ready and out the door, Bill was finally on board. You were dressed in your favourite black dress, a thin line of red sequins that lined the collar, sleeves that draped over your shoulders and a slit in the skirt that let the side of your left thigh show. Bill dressed casually, a nice black button down with a clean white tie and a pair of ripped, navy blue jeans with a chain belt, and Charlie wore a faded grey tee under a studded leather jacket and some black slacks.
As you opened the door to The Leaky Cauldron, letting the boys lead you in, a feeling of bliss surrounded you. Not a drink was in your system, not yet at least, but the music that reverberated in your ears brought you a vague happiness that you couldn’t quite explain. It was like pre-excitement. Charlie led you both up to the bar, and you spotted Bill.. Smiling? A smirk played at your face, the plan was working. The bartender had spotted the group of you, smiling as she tossed a dish towel over her shoulder.
“Ready to order?” Her voice was sweet, like honey, but not overly so. Her hair was curly and black, cut to her shoulders, and she fiddled with a barspoon in her left hand. The name tag on her chest said ‘Ava’.
Charlie opened his mouth to speak, but your hand flew to cover it.
“Mix a dark rum and ginger beer for him, please” You said, enthusiastically reciting his order. Charlie smiled against your hand. “And a mojito for me, extra lime but hold the mint” you looked over to Bill, and he shrugged, mouthing the word ‘beer’. “A mojito for him, too, but without the modifications please?”
Ava smiled, nodded, and pointed to four free seats at the edge of the bar. You skipped to the second one from the edge, using the extra seat for your jacket and purse. Bill sat next to you, Charlie next to him, and you all watched the bartender mix the drinks.
She started with Charlie’s, pouring the rum over the ice effortlessy, adding the beer with a small smile and a wink as she slid the glass to Charlie. Bill’s mojito was next, as it was simpler and easier to remember. Then yours, she poured the lime juice in front of you so you could say when it was enough. You took a sip, well, more of a gulp, almost immediately, the refreshing coolness of the lime and ice washing over you. Bill looked hesitant, the sugary drink in front of him something he’d never tried before. You nodded and nudged his shoulder, as if to say ‘it’s okay, it won’t kill you’. He took a small sip, eyes fixed on yours, and you watched him swallow, adam's apple bobbing. It was almost sensuous, the look he gave you, a smirk of appreciation meaning he likes the drink. Of course he did, but the reason why was not something you were exactly privy too.
You thought it was because he liked the refreshing buzz that trailed his throat throat, or the cool mint, but no. He liked it because you chose it for him. He liked it because you liked it. To be completely honest, he liked you, one of the many reasons he seemed so stressed during his visit. Charlie'd got him to confess his feelings two days ago, while you were sleeping soundly in the guest bedroom and they were up late, talking and cleaning for Molly.
~flashback~
"Really, Bill, I'm not slow" Charlie said suddenly, as he turned a picture of you and the two boys as kids around in his hand.
"Never said you were" Bill replied, settling in the sofa. He was confused, what was Charlie onto now?
"Look" Charlie handed him the picture. It was old, from before any of you were in Hogwarts. Molly'd brought you three out to the yard maybe a week before the first day, you all were dressed in kind of matching clothes. You were wearing a clean white tee-shirt, tucked into a nice black skirt. Bill had a white button down, a burn on the right sleeve from earlier that day, when he'd tried helping Arthur cook, and neat black dress pants, Charlie dressed the same. You all were laughing, it was a magical photo so you could see when the flash went off, Bill immediately looked at you. In response, you playfully hit his shoulder, pointing at the camera, and he smiled even wider. A chuckle caught in Bill's throat at the sight of this picture, he remembered everything. Your hair was all messy, you tried to convince him to braid it but he knew even less about how to do that than you.
"What about it?"
"I see the way you look at her, that's not how a friend looks at a friend"
Bill hesitated, not wanting to reveal anything, but Charlie smirked. The truth was already out. And boy, was it true. Bill had been infatuated with you for as long as he can remember, still was, always would be. Maybe it was the way you always made him smile. Or how you took his own needs into consideration, before even your own. He remembered one day, he was maybe fourteen, and you were both sick. You got up from bed to make him soup, chicken noodle, his favourite. You were shivering and coughing, but you didn't let Molly or anyone help you because, as you said "Bill's feeling bad, this'll help". He tried to share his bowl with you, but you didn't take any, your excuse being that you didn't like chicken noodle. Maybe it was just you, every aspect of you. Your humour, you looks, your smarts. Everything about you had his head spinning.
Charlie wasn't one to hold secrets, especially not to his best friend. Bill was scared, scared he'd tell you. Scared you didn't feel the same. Scared it would ruin everything.
But little did he know, you weren't asleep up in that bedroom. You were thinking. Thinking of him. Of how selfless he was, how utterly kind and inanely brave. You often did this when you couldn't sleep, shoving it off as "he's my friend, i'm thinking of him in a friendly way". But friendly wasn't exactly everything you thought off. His scarred hands felt vaguely soft in your daydreams, almost as soft as you imagined his lips to be. You thought it was wrong to think of him this way, he's been nothing but kind to you. But, oh, how you loved these scenarios you thought of.
~present time~
"Charlie, shush" you squealed as you got up from your chair. Around four tall glasses later, let's say you weren't exactly sober anymore. A buzz of happy surrounded you, smiling so big it hurt as you pulled the two boys from their spots to the floor where you stood. There was music playing, but if you took away the sound of everyone talking over it, it was truly quite small. You started swaying on your feet, and Bill laughed gently as you tried to get the two of them to dance. You weren't really dancing yourself, you just weren't standing still. The drinks in your system felt like heaven, the air was sweet around your breath. Charlie spotted the bartender, Ava, put down her apron, meaning she was off shift, and quickly patted your shoulder, a quick good bye as he ran off to flirt. And flirt he did, you could hear her chuckle, and almost see blush arise in her ran skin from where you and Bill were left. Bill look over to Charlie, who'd swooned Ava into dancing with him, and shot him a look. Charlie only shrugged in return, using his chin to point to you, then his focus was back on the raven haired girl in his arms.
You gulped, feeling dizzy, and your hand gripped Bill's sleeve. His attention was dragged from the pair, to you, where you smiled hugely, awkwardly, your teeth chewing on your tongue. It was a form of stimulation, apparently your foggy mind liked it. His eyes watched as you started to dance again.
Bill wasn't sober either, per se, just more so than you. It took more restraint than usual not to blush, or kiss you. It took so much more. As you moved around, his arms unwillingly went around you, hands on your waist. He felt like he was watching this go down, embarrassed by his enjoyment, waiting for you to slap him and run off. But you didn't. Your arms instead wrapped around his neck, and you two slow danced in the middle of a crowded pub, to some band screaming about misunderstanding the world. Or was it the world misunderstanding them? You didn't care, you couldn't focus on anything else other than Bill's deep, brown eyes, the one scar on his face, a soft pink. You imagined running your finger over it, how it’d feel different than his flesh, softer. Almost as soon as the thought came, your hand abided. He flinched, only slightly, in fact he leaned into your touch, but that was also very slight. So much so that you almost missed it.
Almost.
Suddenly your throat was really dry, you shoved your face into your arm to cough as you untangled yourself from Bill’s arms.
“What ar- Where are you going?” He asked lightly, a raised eyebrow, and you smiled, walking backwards towards the bar, eyes on him as he followed. The new bartender was a tall man with olive skin and a clean, shaved head. He looked to be around 30, 35 at the latest. His name tag read ‘Edward’. Bill pulled out a chair for you, and you giggled, hitting his arm before pulling his out for him. He sat down as the bartender came to take your orders, rolling his eyes at how eager you were for another drink. This time you weren’t quick enough to order for him, he got a plain beer.
~the next day~
soRry i know i’m bad at transitioNs just bear wiTH me
Bill blinked awake as a harsh stream of light soaked through the room, his sight blurry, but he didn’t know where he was. He was warm, maybe too warm, and the covers over him were blue, and clean. Nothing about this room was familiar, it was small, the walls were white, no drawings done in magic ink by his younger twin brothers. The floors weren’t wooden, either, nor old. Bill rubbed his fist into his eye, a pounding, aching sensation behind his face and above his throat. Well, he thought, if he were in a hotel room, best to take advantage of it. But as he moved to call for breakfast, a soft noise stopped him. He looked down, realizing he wasn’t alone under the covers. Realizing you were next to him. Realizing he was shirtless. His eyes fluttered around in panic, he kept himself from breathing as you rolled over, hoping you’d stay asleep. A small, metal band wrapped around your finger caught his attention, and as he moved to inspect it, he noticed he had one to match.
“Fuck..” Bill murmured, breathing heavy. This wasn’t a ‘fuck’ of regret, no, he didn’t even know what there was to regret. Except, of course, that he couldn’t remember anything. The window let in a gust of wind, and he noticed a paper flapping on the nightstand. As he picked it up to examine it, he could almost hear the song playing as you two stood hand in hand, Edward’s dense voice as he wed you two. The certificate in Bill’s hand was notarized, witnessed both by Charlie, and Ava, along with everyone in the bar at the time. You made another noise beside him, sort of like a groan as you sat up, hands trying to push the mess of hair out of your face. Your lipstick was smudged, mascara too, and Bill blushed as you yawned and looked around, equally confused as him.
“Where ar-”
“Hotel, I think”
You nodded, your hands flopping into your lap, and you caught sight of the ring on your finger, the diamond tiny, yet somehow perfectly sized. Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion, and you looked back up at him. Suddenly your mind was back to last night, when your lips were locked with Bill’s, and Charlie whooped so loud that you saw your life flash before your eyes. You thought it was just regrettable, all the years you spent pining over someone who had literally just snogged you, for goodness sake! Then there was a blank spot, something you couldn’t remember, and all you knew was that you had rings, you had papers, you had Bill. You smiled and watched him analyze the paper in his hands, still unsure whether his attraction for you was just the drinks in his system. He looked up again, putting the paper back where he found it.
“So- I, uh..” He whispered, mouth in a tight line. You straightened up immediately, eyes wide.
“So” You nodded, repeating his words.
“We should, we should probably- check out” Bill said, turning so his back was to you and his feet were on the ground. You fiddled with your fingers, nails digging half-moons into your palms.
“Actually- Uh, Bill?”
Mhm?” He froze.
“I.. Well, I want you to know that-” Your words were shaky, along with your breath, and you glanced at him, at his back, littered with scars. “That last night, I meant it. Not because I was drunk- Or- Or that I-”
You heard him chuckled, but you barely had time to wonder why before he turned around, swiftly pulling you into his arms. He smelled calm, like sleep and wood. You could smell the leftover beer on his breath. As soon as the hug started, Bill was up out of bed.
“You are-” He laughs to himself. “You are very naked”
Your cheeks turned a bright red as you wrapped the covers dangerously tight around yourself, and Bill almost roared with laughter.
“Turn around, you weirdo!” You squealed, and he dramatically covered his eyes, though left a gap between two of his fingers where you saw his eye poke out. You chuckled lightly and rolled your eyes. “Hey!”
“What? I like to think man and wife means I get to see this!” His excitement was clear, and so was your delight with the word ‘wife’.

Remembering what we had

Bill Weasley X Fem!Reader
Warnings: Angst, Death
Author's note: This is the first time, I'm writing angst, so if you could please give me feedback.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Laughter is heard in the Hogwarts corridors, The teacher looks around and notices two people running around, they smile at these two people.
"Ok, let's give them some privacy, oh young love" Professor McGonagall whispers to the other teacher as they leave the two teens alone.
Y/N was running from Bill as she had made a prank on him, but Bill was able to catch up to her and spun her around, before kissing her, both laughing from excitement and love. "Oh I'm so going to marry you when we're older" Bill laughs and Y/n just gazes at him full of love. "You better" Y/n laughs.
~Flashback ended~
You smile as I remember the past with Bill, tears pooling in my eyes as I look into the wedding ceremony. I smiled through the pain and said "You promised me, Bill" As you look into the wedding ceremony of Bill and his fiance, tears falling as you see Bill smile at her just like he had looked at you. After the ceremony was done, Bill looks around and notices you, he stops and looks, and you smile at him, mouthed to him "Be happy". His wife then looks at him and says "What's wrong?" Bill turns to her and whispers "Nothing, I'm just remembering her." His wife gives him a sad smile and "Do you want to visit her grave after coming back from our honeymoon?" Bill nodded, his heart belonged to Y/N but it seems time and their life never connected in this life, he had always carried Y/N in his heart, but now, Fleur had his heart, not fully but she understood why.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm sorry if this is short, I just got this idea and had to write it down. It's also my first time writing angst, and I would love the feedback.

Bill Weasley - Untitled
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing : (F/M) || Bill Weasley x Professor!Reader Word Count : 2.3k Warning : None I think. Synopsis : Inspired by Sabrina Carpenter - Paris. A quick gateway has somehow turned into a labyrinth of conflicted feelings with no escape as she spends more time with the oldest Weasley sibling.   Notes : Long overdue, but I hope this is good enough to make up for the long wait. If you like this story and would like to support me, please visit my kofi page and perhaps get me a coffee?☕
Easy. That word would do justice for the relationship she's having with her lover. He was dead head over heels for her. Whipped beyond saving, she knew he would jump off a cliff had she asked him to. He was everything a girl could ever ask for. Someone who would willingly devote their life for their lover, worshipping her as if she was the goddess that has blessed his Earth.
Yet even for all the risks he's willing to take, she still feels like it wasn't enough.
She wanted to feel the thrill of fighting for something. She missed the nervous jolt of anxiety whenever an argument's about to erupt. She missed the fright of being left alone in the relationship. She missed the torture of bending over backward to keep them in her grasp. She missed it all.
With him everything came with ease, almost as if she didn’t even need to ask for it. Everything she could ever hoped for would be handed to her in a silver platter, complete with its rose petals and golden goblet. She knew that she was being ungrateful to admit that the gesture was turning dull for her and she knew he wouldn’t let her go, even if she was to be cruel and told him the cold truth, therefore she seeks for an instant getaway instead.
“You know,” Bill begins, making her look up from the book she holds in her hands “I could get used to this life. I don’t mind having croissants for breakfast with you, sipping the most bitter coffee in my life and guilt tripping myself into thinking that it isn’t that bad cause I can see the Eiffel Tower from my bedroom everyday.”
She rolls her eyes, “Don’t get too attached to it.”
“Why not?” He smiles, leaning closer as he rests his elbow to the table “Do you not find my companion to be entertaining?”
“We’re here for a mission, Bill.” She says as she closes her book, putting it away as she reckons she won’t be continuing her reading this morning “Dumbledore sent us here for a reason.”
He shrugs, “Does not mean we can’t grow fond of the life we’re living right now.”
Oh but that’s the source to all her problems now, isn’t it? She’s grown too fond of this new life. Parisian nights, Parisian high, Parisian breeze, feeding her like medicine. Perhaps had Dumbledore paired her with someone else, she wouldn’t have been this blinded by Parisian lights. She might be able to see its flaws then, how the Eiffel Tower is not as pretty as the pictures or how the food isn’t much better than her Mother’s cooking.
William ‘Bill’ Arthur Weasley, the prefect every girl in her year would swoon about. He was that one senior every girl is holding a crush on. With a brilliant mind, bravery as bold as his fiery hair, and manner as kind and gentle as morning breeze, Bill was the very definition of perfection. Though he wasn’t the guy she had her eyes trained on during their school year, she still would admit that he did catch her eyes once or twice in the corridors.
And now to have spent weeks alone with him, she knew that she shouldn’t have looked past him.
“How much longer do you reckon we have to do this?” She asks, putting out her poker face so he wouldn’t be able to decipher her true nature.
“Dunno,” He shrugs, taking a sip of his coffee “Can’t say I miss the life behind Gringotts walls.”
She raised an eyebrow, “Why?”
“Well, life as a banker isn’t really the most thrilling there is now, is it?” Bill argues, his award winning smile decorating his face “Why would I go back to seeing ugly goblins when I could just see you?”
And there it is, his flirtatious banter that would always heat her cheeks. She’s convinced that he’s only doing such a gesture to harvest her bashful response. In the beginning she would return his words, batting her eyelashes and making him beam in a bright smile, yet lately it’s been harder for her to maintain her breath whenever he’s around. Her quick gateway has somehow turned into a labyrinth of conflicted feelings with no escape.
Was it wrong for her to have fallen in love with another when she’s got someone wrapped around her fingers back in London? Sure. But who in their right mind could ever deny him? Who could ever have the power to not fall into his magnetism? Who could ever not yield to the charms Bill Weasley has?
“They’re here.” He says, the merriment on his face gone in an instant.
She glances over her shoulder, noticing Bellatrix Lestrange and Fenrir Greyback walking away, “They’re really recruiting the werewolves, aren’t they?”
Bill hums, his brows furrow.
Jaws clenched.
Veins on his neck are visible.
Merlin.
“Come on.” He says as he stands from his seat, leaving the amount of money they owe for their breakfast on the table.
“What?” She asks with a raised brow “Where are we going?”
“Following them, of course.”
“Are you mad?” She exclaims “We are not following them, William.”
Bill grins, taking her wrist as he stands from his seat, “Don’t worry, Sweetheart, I’ll protect you.”
—-
Her ears were ringing, heart pounding as beads of sweat layers her skin. Her cheeks were flushed red from all the running and adrenaline pumped in her veins. Perhaps barging into the Death Eaters’ lair wasn’t the brightest idea Bill has ever come up with in his entire life, yet in his defence, who would’ve known that they have quite the amount of followers here in Paris?
Now their bodies were pressed in the narrow alleyway, trying to hide themselves from the angry mob. The piece of information they’ve gathered would surely be useful for Dumbledore and everyone else back at home, but it would also mean that their heads are now the most desired item by the Death Eaters.
So much for the thrilling life Bill’s constantly talking about.
“I think we’ve lost them.” He whispered quietly, his hot breath hitting her face as he turned to see the alleyway “I don’t hear anything anymore, do you?”
She shakes her head.
Bill was still alert. The veins on his arm were visible, as he protectively pinned her to the wall. Now that the fog slowly descended, she could feel her heart hammering as if it was bursting through her ribcage. He was close. Too close for her liking. She could only hope that he wouldn’t hear nor feel the loud beating of her heart.
Now looking back to her, she could see the realisation of their close proximity in his eyes, how his pupil dilates for a second before they turn soft. His shoulders no longer tense, but the veins on his neck were still visible. His adam’s apple bobbled as he took a gulp, seemingly in a frenzied state himself. She buries the idea that he could have the same reasoning as the one she’s having right now. Surely the disordered gesture he’s showing only stems from all the running and fright of almost being killed mere minutes ago.
But Bill didn’t move. Instead, he moves his hands closer, pinning her tighter that she has no space left to go. It wasn’t like she was planning to flee anyway, but the closer he is, the harder it is for her to hold onto what is right and what is wrong. With him, everything feels right and wrong at the same time.
“Bill-”
With no warning, Bill leans closer and seals their lips. It was a mix of everything, washing over her like a tidal wave. There was passion, desire, thirst, and hint of apology in the way he kissed her. She knew that he wanted to pull her close, to eliminate whatever space left between them but his hands didn’t move. It was as if they were glued to the walls, perhaps becoming his only anchor to not go any further than what he’s doing right now.
And because of that too, she didn’t pull him closer. Nor did she kiss him back.
“I- I’m sorry.” He said as he pulled away.
She could see the disappointment and anger polluting his eyes before he took a few steps away, back now facing her as he ran his hands through his hair. She was stunned, unable to give him the comfort she knew she should give, but her feet felt heavy to move. Guilt began to seep into her as she knew that the one thing she loved most in her life is something that shouldn’t have happened in the first place.
“I wasn’t thinking.” Bill continues, now turning to see her “It was just the rush from all the running, I’m really sorry.”
Of course, the rush from all the running.
“Right,” She nods, looking down to her shoes now “Of course, I understand.”
“Brilliant,” He exclaims with a forced smile “Can we agree that the last 10 minutes never happened then?”
She wanted to say no, she wanted to pull him back, return the kiss the first time it happened but she knew that she couldn’t. Not when she was still attached to someone else. It would be unfair to her lover and for him and she would rather die than to put Bill to such a miserable position.
And so she nods, holding onto the pieces of her breaking heart beneath her phoney smile, “Of course.”
—-
The whole journey back to London was spent in complete silence. Neither dared to steal glances at each other. It pains her to know that the only thing that could set her soul ablaze would be something she needs to hide from others, a sin that would take a lifetime to be atoned for. She knew that she’s lost the spark with her lover long before she met Bill, but what good would ending the relationship now when they’re about to get back to their lives? The lives where their paths would never cross. Him behind the Gringotts wall and her back to teaching at Hogwarts.
“So I guess this is where we part ways.” Bill says as they stop in front of Dumbledore’s entrance stairs, having just finished reporting their mission to the Headmaster.
“I suppose so.”
“Well, it’s been quite a thrilling experience,” He sighs, his smile waters just a degree as he holds his hand out for a shake “Partner.”
She takes his hand, shaking it gently with her eyes glued on the contact. A thousand questions run across her mind. Would it be different now if she kissed him back then? Would it be different now if she pulled him back? Would it be different now if she would just say something?
“I’ll find it hard adjusting back to my old dull life.” Bill tried to joke but the sadness seeped out of his eyes “A life without you.”
“Bill, don’t.”
He flashed a sad smile, “Why?”
She looks away, fearing that her fortress would completely crumble if she were to lock gaze with him for another second.
“I’ve seen the way you look at me,” He says, his tone gentle and careful “You see me the same way I see you, so tell me, what are you so afraid of?”
“It’s not that simple, Bill.” She exclaims “I just- We can’t, alright?”
“Why? You don’t love that git anymore, perhaps you never did. You hardly even sent him an owl, never excited to read his letters, and you never for once talk about him if not for me to ask. So what exactly is holding you from me?”
She bites her lip, wanting to run away and hide under her bedsheets, but the tender grip he has on her hand is so alluring that it drowns her completely.
“Please,” Bill begs “All I ask is one chance.”
“What if it was just a short lived infatuation, Bill? What if it was just something that brews in the heat of the moment? A product of nothing but rush and thrill?” She asks with a voice barely above a whisper “What if it was nothing close to what you think it is?”
He smiles bitterly, a shuddering breath escapes his lips, “Then I’ll burn down with it to ash.”
“No, no I can’t have that.” She shakes her head, finally taking her hand away and taking a few steps away from him “I think it would be best for you to leave now, Bill.”
She was facing away from him but she could feel his shoulder fall, the desperation and disappointment was felt both ways. She knows exactly what he’s feeling right now but this is for the best. Even if she wouldn’t end up with her lover, letting Bill go would be the only kindness she could grace to the both of them now. Perhaps the future could be kinder and would give them a second chance.
Beads of tears begin to decorate her lashes, vision getting blurry as she fights for her tears to not fall. Her fight proved to be fruitless as they flowed down her cheek the moment Bill kissed the crown of her head from behind, being ever so kind as to not look at her crying face. He gives her shoulders a gentle squeeze. A last tender touch he gives before his steps echoes through the corridor and eventually disappears altogether.

Same Old Bill- Bill Weasley x OC
Bill Weasley x Sophia O’Malley
Description: Bill is attacked by Fenrir Greyback and wakes up with a scarred face. Sophia makes it her personal mission to show she still loved him and ease him back into a normal life.
Word Count: 2k
Tumblr media
Bill and Sophia Weasley were back in London for the time being. They had to take desk jobs at Gringotts in order to join the Order of the Phoenix. Sophia didn’t mind, but she could tell Bill was sad about having to leave the tombs of Egypt. She reminded him constantly that he could go back if he pleased, but of course Bill could never leave his family- or her for that matter. And she understood.
Though she never told him, Bill knew that now that Voldemort was confirmed to be alive again, she was nervous. She had no idea who to trust or what to say to anyone, and the stress was starting to take its toll on her. So, they planned a date night to relax and forget about the world’s problems to focus on just each other.
Unfortunately, that never happened for them. Bill, along with a few other Order members, were tasked by Dumbledore to patrol Hogwarts during his absence when he and Harry went to search for one of Lord Voldemort's Horcruxes. Sophia had a bad feeling about patrol that night, so Molly offered for her to stay with them until her husband got off duty. So, with one last kiss, Bill left Sophia at the Burrow. After a while, she began to think she was being silly for worrying. Of course no one would do anything. Right?
Tumblr media
Wrong. Sophia knew something was wrong the minute Molly walked in. The woman’s face was tear stained and she had worry lines on her face. Sophia broke down immediately upon hearing the bad news. She knew that something was wrong that night, why couldn’t she have been more persistent?
Hogwarts had been infiltrated and attacked, but that wasn’t the worst part. Bill had been attacked by the known werewolf Fenrir Greyback and suffered severe injuries. At the moment he was at St. Mungo’s getting his injuries checked.
She was the first one to enter his hospital room, and she had to hold back a gasp at the sight. Sophia hadn’t known the extent of his injuries until she finally saw him. His face had been slashed and ripped savagely all the way down to his collarbone and shoulder. He was still unconscious when everyone else left, she was the only one to stay with him the whole night.
He woke up the next morning with a small groan, which woke her up instantly. She stood up and ran to his bedside as his eyes opened. She gave him a small smile and took his hand.
“Morning Stud,” she said, using the nickname she always gave him when worried.
“Hey Sweets,” was his response as usual, followed by another groan. “What happened?”
“You were attacked last night while patrolling Hogwarts. Do you remember anything?” Bill shook his head.
“I was battling the Carrows, then I felt pain. Lots of pain in my face. I blacked out after that,” he paused to look up at her. “Soph who attacked me? Do you know?” Sophia visibly hesitated before answering.
 “It was Fenrir Greyback, he clawed your face and shoulder. Remus Lupin only saw it at the last second,” she explained as gently as she could. With her help, Bill sat in a sitting position. She watched him remove the bandages from his shoulder as carefully as he could, wincing several times. He studied the scars carefully. They were mostly healed, but chances were those scars would be permanent.
“Get me a mirror please,” he said more as an instruction than a question. Sophia bit her lip and took his hand gently.
“My darling I think we should wait until you know you’re re-” Bill cut her off.
“I am ready, Sophia,” he said sharply. “If you won’t get it then I will.” She watched him take off the bandages covering his face and slam them down on his lap frustratedly. She knew he was already imagining how awful he looked. With a sigh, she grabbed a hand held mirror that sat on the nightstand by the bed and handed it to him. Before he held the mirror up to his face, he looked at her once more when she rested her hand on his free one.
“It’s only been a day since you got these. They’re still healing a bit, so you must be careful. The swelling and redness will fade within the next few days, keep that in mind, my love,” she reminded him in a whisper. He nodded once and held the mirror up to himself again.
She examined his features carefully. The three long scars streaked down his face like tiger stripes. They started at the center of his forehead and ran over his right eye, just barely missing it and just splitting his eyebrow, down his cheek and to his chin.
If she didn’t know him, she would have thought he was calm and collected as one could be. But she did know him, very well as a matter of fact. Bill thought he looked ugly, like those people you see on those survival stories on television. He was on the verge of tears, and she knew it. She had no idea how to help him, what could you say to someone in a situation like this? So, she said the most positive thing she could think of at the moment.
“Since Greyback was not in his werewolf form, Remus believes there’s no way you could become a werewolf. The only downside is that you may show signs of lycanthropy like getting a taste for rare steaks,” she informed him.
“That’s not the only downside.” Bill had said it under his breath but Sophia still heard it.
“What are you talking about Bub?” She asked confused, leaning closer to him. He shook his head with a humorless laugh then looked at her.
“I’m just saying. I don’t think you could ever call me handsome or anything anymore. I mean look at me.” He looked away as a tear slipped down his good cheek.
“Do you know what I see when I look at you, Bill?” She asked gently. He shook his head.
“A monster?” He guessed. SHe shook her head, though he couldn’t see her, and climbed onto his bed so her legs were dangling off the side.
“I see the man I married, I still see my Bill. So what if you’re a little scratched up? That doesn’t mean anything to me. When I married you, I vowed to be with you for better, for worse, and in sickness, and in health. That didn’t change one bit, scars be damned. You’re still my amazing and handsome Bill. I love every bit of you, Bill Weasley,” she spoke with such sincerity that Bill finally looked at her once more. She gave him a small smile and stood, taking his hands.
“C’mere,” she mumbled, lightly yanking at his hand. He scooched to the side and now sat how she had earlier with his legs dangling off the bed.
“Can you say it again?” He asked in a whisper. She smiled and leaned forward, placing a kiss on his lips.
“I love you Bill,” she muttered and moved so her lips hovered over his scarred cheek. She glanced at him, silently asking for permission. He nodded once, and that was answer enough for her. She placed a gentle kiss on his new scars, being careful not to hurt him.
“I love you Bill,” she repeated, moving to his shoulder and kissing that and his collarbone. He shivered at the feeling, which made her giggle.
“William Arthur Weasley, I love you,” she spoke clearly, looking straight into his eyes. Bill let out a small happy sob and pulled her into a tight hug. She rested her chin on his good shoulder and pressed a kiss to his good cheek as she returned the gesture. They stayed like that until there was a knock on the door. Bill’s healer walked in.
“William, it’s wonderful to see you awake. The rest of your family is in the waiting room, shall I send them in?” She asked, gesturing to the door. Sophia looked at Bill who only smiled in confirmation.
“Well, we mustn’t keep them waiting, ay? Go ahead and send them in,” he instructed. The healer nodded and walked back out.
“If you get overwhelmed, just squeeze my hand and I’ll get them out, okay?” Bill simply nodded and took her hand, placing a kiss on it as the door opened yet again.
Tumblr media
Bill was back home a week later. More often than not Sophia would find Bill staring out the window. For a while she thought it was because he was lost in thought. It didn’t take long for her to realize that he was actually looking at his reflection. He’d healed a lot in the past week, but the healer’s suspicions were correct: the scarring was permanent. Anytime she noticed that he was staring at his reflection, she’d divert his attention by asking him to help her with something.
Another thing Sophia noticed was that Bill stuck close to her a lot more now. As he tried to ease back into everyday life, he found himself needing Sophia by his side so she could calm him down. She sort of grounded him when he got too into himself about his new appearance. When he woke up, he always waited for her to wake up before starting the day as a sort of encouragement.
That’s why she was confused about waking up without him in bed beside her. She assumed that he was making breakfast, since he sort of took up that job himself, but it was silent in the kitchen. As she searched the house for him, her eyes caught sight of the calendar hanging in the kitchen. It was July 14, a.k.a. their four year wedding anniversary. Now she was worried. Where was he? Finally, she entered the dining room. There was a plate of pancakes, bacon and sausage on a plate with a note beside it.
Morning Darling,
Mum asked for some help cleaning the house. She wants to show you tonight, come over around 5:00. Love you!
-Bill
P.S. Happy anniversary my love ♡
Sophia shook her head with a small laugh. ‘Molly and her cleaning,’ she thought to herself amusedly as she sat down. She enjoyed breakfast then decided to do a bit of cleaning herself. She thought it better to come home to a clean house tonight after visiting Molly.
Finally, at 4:00 she got ready in a nice olive green linen-cotton sundress with buttons going down the front. Bill always said he loved the color on her. Once she was ready, she grabbed her wand and apparated in front of the Burrow. Sophia knocked once before just walking in, she was family after all.
“Surprise!” Everyone yelled. Everyone being the Weasleys (save for Charlie of course), Tonks and Remus. The shouting made her jump in surprise and hold a hand over her heart. Bill was stood at the center of the room with a wide smile.
“Happy anniversary, my love,” Bill added, walking over to her. A wide smile appeared on her face and she covered her face embarrassed.
“All this for me?” She asked when he reached her. He laughed and took both her hands.
“Of course. I know you’ve gone through a lot with all that’s happened in the last month. I wanted to figure out a way to thank you, so what better way than a party for our anniversary?” He responded earnestly. Sophia cooed and pressed a loving kiss to his lips.
“Get a room you two,” Fred called, gagging dramatically.
“Don‘t tempt me with a good time Fredrick,” was Bill’s automatic response. Sophia blushed shyly as Molly smacked her son’s arm, scolding him for such a suggestive response. The couple only laughed and faced the rest of the party, ready to enjoy the night’s festivities.

Closeted Harry coming out to Ron after his breakup with Ginny and Ron just being like, “cool just don’t date one of my brothers”
Fred and George freezing and looking at Harry with nothing but absolute delight at the potential mischief.
Harry making eye contact with them, immediately understanding their intentions, and winking as he puts a finger to his lips, shushing them.
Ron following Harry’s line of sight and screaming “NO. NO. FUCK NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT.”
Harry and the twins platonically flirting in the most obnoxious ways imaginable.
Harry showing up to breakfast in the Great Hall late with a different twins sweater on, looking debauched. One or even both the twins give him a salacious once over. Ron wants to sink into the floor and die.
Ron eventually gets used to this but absolutely loses it when the rest of his brothers send him their sweaters and flirt with him at the Burrow.
The Weasley boys sending flirty howlers to Harry just to send Ron spiraling.
Ron being so relieved when Harry dates literally anyone who isn’t one of his older brothers.

Pairing: Bill Weasley + fem!reader
Word count: 1933
Summary: You're in love with Bill, unfortunately, Bill's engaged to Fleur
Warnings: Fights, Cheating, Shouting, that's it?
Hey! If you think this didn't completely suck, feel free to check out my masterlist.
Requests are open
Tumblr media
His entire family is beaming around him, and my heart sinks deeper and deeper, as Fleur shows off the engagement ring she has on her finger. Molly and Ginny are less than pleased to have him marry fleur, but they're still excited.
A hand gets placed on my shoulder, and my grip around my cup tightens in surprise. I look to my side and there's Percy standing beside me. He squeezes my shoulder in support and asks, "Are you alright?"
"I will be." I reply and give him a weak smile. I look back at them and I can't seem to look away. He doesn't even notice that I'm here, and it makes sense, to him I'm only his younger brother's friend.
"Let's go somewhere." Percy says, like he does whenever I get sad. I let him lead me away up to his room. He closes the door behind us and I feel safe enough to let my eyes water. I sit on the bed and grab my blanket that he has stored for me under his bed.
Percy sits beside me and he holds my hand in support. He waves his wand and it brings over a box filled with books. Percy calls it 'the safety box' . It's filled with the books that bring me and Percy comfort and support, whenever one of us feels sad, we grab a book and start reading, the familiar characters fill us with a small sense of joy.
We started the box when Percy fought with his family and he found himself needing more comfort than usual. I never agreed with the whole disagreement, but I had to help my best friend. Eventually, after I gave him a stern talking to, and a couple break downs, he apologized to his family. Molly practically worshiped me the week after he came back.
I pick up one of my favorite books, and he hums in agreement. I grab one of the bookmarks that Percy has on his nightstand and shove it in the first page of the book. He squeezes my hand and says, "I don't think it's going to last."
"Why's that?"
"He doesn't love her." Percy says, and I bitterly chuckle, why would he be engaged to her if he didn't love her? Percy continues, "Bill's a bit like Ron, they're a bit dim when it comes to these types of things."
"And like you." I add, and Percy looks at me confused. I huff, incredulously and say, "Penelope had to give you obvious signs for three months before you noticed anything, and even when you did you couldn't get it through your thick skull. She had to ask you out!"
"That was one time!" Percy complains, and I laugh, "I could name the right if you like."
The door opens and Bill stands there. I wonder how he so easily got away from his family. He looks straight at Percy and then says, "We've been looking for you."
Bill's eyes flicker to Percy's hand that is joined to mine then looks back at his brother. He doesn't spare me a glance, as he turns around to leave, but not before adding, "Come on."
Percy stands and points to the door with his other hand, awkwardly, and repeats, "They're looking for me."
"Go, I'll just stay here for a while." I say, and give him a weak smile, I don't know why I try anymore, Percy already knows that it's fake. He clears his mouth and reluctantly goes to the door. He gives me one more look as if making sure that I'm safe, then shuts the door softly behind him.
I huff and lean back on the bed. This is what happens when you've had the same crush on the same stupid guy since first year.
~~~
I reluctantly went to work next Monday. The ministry has been on edge since the war's started, but it's gotten even worse after Dumbledore died. I worked on training the new Aurors, but not by going on field missions, but by giving them tasks to do, and things to learn.
It was boring most of the time, but I liked working with other people, and helping them reach their dreams of catching dark wizards. This wasn't originally the job I wanted, and I was so close to reaching my dream, but to me, staying home was my priority. I wonder what could've changed if I had gone to Egypt to be a curse breaker.
The worst part of the job was no doubt, the paper work. There was always heaps of it to get done and not enough time to do it. My feet dragged as I went to the office where I do the paper work, instead of the training room where I get to teach Aurors defensive spells.
I'm on the elevator when I notice that there's only few minutes before I'm supposed to be at my office. My boss was unfortunately, Nott Sr., who was not only a tough boss, but a boss was a sexist. He would do anything to get all the women in his department fired, so if I'm late, who knows what'll happen to me.
I bump into someone on my way to the office. I get steadied by two strong hands that feels familiar and I look up to find Bill looking at me. I can't move an inch, with the feelin of both his palms on my skin, it feels as if they're burning me, but I can't move.
"You didn't talk to me the other night." he clears his throat, and I avoid his gaze, I couldn't exactly do that with Fleur hanging off his arm, and I didn't want to either. I reply, shortly, "You were busy."
"Right." He replies, and I really don't know what to say. I look around and I see women eyeing Bill, like they've always had. Bill's attractive, I can't recall a time when he wasn't. We all fancied him when we were third years, but as soon as he graduated, everyone stopped, I didn't.
"Isn't this wonderful?" I hear someone say from behind me, and we turn to find Mr. Diggory coming towards us excitedly. Bill still has an arm on mine when Mr. Diggory comes to us. He grabs Bill's free hand and shakes it, excitedly, "Congratulations! Arthur told me this morning. It's such wonderful news."
Bill smiles awkwardly and thanks the man. Mr. Diggory looks at Bill's hand on my arm which has his engagement ring. I move away from him, as if I couldn't stand having that ring anywhere near me. Mr. Diggory looks between us and his eyes snap to my hand. He looks at me concerned, and says, "My dear, I think you've misplaced your ring! It's only been so song since you've had it!"
I flush a bright red and start to fumble trying to explain to the older man that I wasn't engaged to Bill, despite how much I wanted to be. Bill steps in, and says. "Oh! I'm not- she's not- I'm engaged to Fleur Delacour, sir. Y/N's just a friend."
"I'm one of Percy's closest friends." I interrupt. I've never been Bill's friend and I don't think I ever will be. I give Mr. Diggory a smile. I fix my bag over my shoulder, and excuse myself politely. I walk away, and notice, the clock once again. I groan, I wasn't going to enjoy the talk that Nott was going to give me.
I didn't bother walking faster anyway. I remember what Bill said, and I scoff at his words. When have I ever gave the impression that I was his friend?
~~~
I don't expect to see Bill again until I go to the Burrow once again, but the next day, I find him at the ministry. He was talking to someone, but when he catches me walking, he pauses his conversation and jogs towards me.
I try to rush past him, but he stands in front of me to stop me. I say, "I have class, and I need to go right now."
"You're class starts in ten minutes you have time." Bill says, and rolls his eyes at my antics. I huff and fold my arms over my chest. I look at him with a quirked eyebrow waiting for him to say what he wanted. He avoids my sharp gaze and he fumbles.
"You-you look good today." He stutters and it's my turn to roll my eyes. If it were only a few months ago, I would've jumped up and down at the words. I snap, "What do you want Bill? Why are you here? You don't work here."
"I'm finishing up some things for Gringotts." He says, and I frown, Gringotts, the god forsaken place where everything went to hell. The place he met Fleur. I say, "If you don't have anything to say, let me pass."
"I don't want us to be like this." Bill says, and I don't feel myself getting sad, instead I feel myself getting angry. I hiss, "Are you still engaged, Bill?"
"Yes, but-"
"Then this is how it's going to be." I huff, and walk past him. Onlookers are starting to pay attention to our conversation, and Bill notices. He pulls me off to the side into a secluded area near the toilets where he starts, "It doesn't have to-"
"Bill, leave me alone. Don't talk to me unless it's something Percy related. That's the only way we know each other." I say, and Bill says, "But I don't want it to be that way."
"Can't you understand that talking to you while seeing that stupid ring on your finger is killing me?!" I shout, and I feel my eyes tear up. I lean against the wall, and look away from him. I blink away the tears. I say, "Do you understand how it feels? How I feel?"
Bill doesn't say anything, so I continue to ramble, "I've liked you for forever Bill, and when I went to Egypt, we had fun. I even thought you feel in love with me, like I did with you. You tried to kiss me then ignored me, and I was an idiot to go to you and tell you that I loved you. I don't hear from you for months, and the next time I see you, you're with your family telling them that you got engaged!"
I rub my hands over my face, and wipe away the one tear that fell against my will. My mascara must be ruined. I sniffle and say, "So excuse me, if I don't want to be your friend."
"Wait!" Bill says, before I open the girl's toilets to escape when. I open the door with Bill behind me and we both stand transfixed at the sight inside. I gasp, and that alerts both, Fleur and Roger.
I had no idea that Fleur was here, Percy told me that she was going to France to her parents for a week. Turns out, Parents is code for Roger Davies. Fleur gasps, and pushes Roger away. Bill looks angry, and I take that as my sign to head to my class.
~~~
"The engagement is off." Percy tells me when he enters the flat. I hum in acknowledgement, looking at the set of papers in my hand that were the official grades of everyone in the class, these were the papers that would say if they were going to be Aurors or not.
"Don't you want to go talk to him?" Percy says, and I look up to see Percy shifting from foot to foot in front of me. I narrow my eyes at him, and I bite the insides of my cheeks, and said, "No."
"Too bad." Percy says and as I'm about to inquire about the weird sentence, Bill enters the flat. Percy heads out before Bill can close the door to give us some privacy. I stand up to go to my room, but Bill rushes to talk a hold of my wrist.
"I'm sorry."
Bill was never good at giving heart felt conversations or saying what he was feeling at least to me. He takes a step closer and I look away from him. He takes a hold of my chin in between his fingers, and makes me look at him. My heart skips several beats, and it reminds me of when he almost kissed me. The pleasant feeling leaves me and a bitter one takes it's place.
"I'm sorry that I was an idiot when I didn't kiss you that night." Bill says, and it all comes back to me. That night, I was about to finish my training as a curse breaker and they gave me my acceptance. I was going to work in Egypt, but decided against it. My life was here. I told him and I remember it very clearly.
He had a cake made with the words 'Congrats! You're an official curse breaker' on it. It made me telling him even harder but I did. He shrugged his shoulder like it was no big deal, but I could tell that he didn't want me to leave. The year I spent with him there was one of the happiest times of my life because my crush turned into love that I thought was reciprocated. He hugged me goodbye and when we parted he looked at me like he had something to say. Instead, he grabbed my chin the way he was doing now, and tried to kiss me. He stopped before our lips touched, and left.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you I loved you back when you told me." He added. The morning after, I was about to leave for London, and I told him that I loved him. He apologized and left. Bill's hand moved to my cheek to cup it. He says, "I'm sorry I didn't talk to you for months, but I had to."
"Why?" I croak out, my voice heavy with emotion. He rubs his thumb over my cheek, soothingly, and answers, "We were going to be apart. We couldn't have a relationship like that, it would've been easier to get over you, if I didn't talk to you."
"And when you came back. What stopped you? Why did you propose to Fleur?" I ask, one question after the other, and he replies, "I couldn't be with you. I wouldn't do that Percy."
"What do you mean?" I ask, eyebrows furrowed in confusion. He smiles, sadly and says, "Percy told me that he liked you, a while ago. I couldn't be with you when my brother liked you."
"A while ago? You mean..." I trail off, thinking if there were any signs of Percy liking me. I have a revelation and I hit his arm. I shout, "You broke my heart because Percy told you he liked me when we were in third year!"
"Ow! Ow! stop, he already gave me enough of that himself!" Bill complained, and moved away from my arms that were hitting him, aggressively. He help both my wrists to stop me, and he looked into my eyes, and said, "I'm sorry."
"You're going to have to make it up to me." I say, pointedly. He nods his head. He says, "I'm going to make it up to you, and heal that broken heart of yours. What's the first order of business?"
"Finally kissing me."
The ocean was louder than you remembered. Colder too.
Wet sand sank under your feet with each step, waves erasing the prints you left behind. The paper that morning had read August 30th. A month since the wedding. Six weeks since the farm. A little more than two months since the Death Eaters’ attack on Hogwarts. Eight months since you'd last seen your parents. A year since you’d kissed Cillian goodbye thinking there was a future together. Somehow that seemed too short a time for everything that had happened. All that'd you'd lost.
It had been easy to compartmentalize. Push it away and focus on anything else. But the holes were there. You missed the Cillian you'd known. You missed your parents and their excited, encouraging smiles. You missed Madam Pomfrey's complete trust in you and your abilities. You missed the days when you thought you had any control of tomorrow.
Three years working the Hospital Wing, two more being its frequent volunteer. All in hopes of a job at St. Mungos. You’d gotten it. A spot in the Janus Thickey Ward working with patients with spell damaged minds. The decision to walk away from it had been easy. You were no longer safe, yes, but that wasn’t why.
You could still remember his blood on your hands. The panic in Madam Pomfrey’s usually calm movements. His eyes finally opening, blue in a sea of red, and his hand gripping your wrist. He’d mumbled something. Impossible to understand. But he was alive and there was hope. He would live. Scarred and straddled with symptoms of an unknown severity, but there had been hope he could live his life mostly as he always had. Then Fleur had fled.
All he'd gotten was a letter. All you'd given Cillian was a letter. She’d sent back a ring, you’d sent back a bracelet. Maybe not the same, but they were kindred sentiments. And it was devastating to destroy something that in another time would have been forever.
The sand shifted as you sat. No wonder Bill hated the idea of you leaving. No wonder you had such a hard time actually wanting to leave. It was ironic how well matched you were. Poetic even. You his stand in for Fleur and he yours for Cillian. He could make you stay and you could stay. He wanted to protect people and you wanted to heal them.
But he wasn't Cillian and you weren't Fleur and this wasn't a relationship. This was two traumatized people trapped together in a war trying to keep each other alive.
High tide came while you watched the moon's reflection ripple in the water. The ocean couldn't combat the forces of the moon. How could you?
Bill sat, head in his hands, at the table when you returned to the cottage. Waiting.
"Thought you went to bed."
He looked up. Gods it wasn’t fair when he looked at you like that. Like he was relieved to see you. "Yeah, yeah I did, but I heard the door and I thought…”
He didn’t finish the thought. You had to look away. His sad eyes were for someone else. “I needed some air.” Had you looked like that when he left? Maybe the first night. Much worse the other three. "I wouldn't walk out on you." Not like he did.
"Right," was all he had to say.
Maybe you should have left.
"I'm off to bed then." You hadn't made it two steps before he pleaded for you to wait.
"Can we talk?"
It was too much. Your emotions were still raw, bleeding and blistering from the scab you’d picked away. It hurt. You were hurting. And he only cared because he thought you were going to leave. Gods, why did that make it worse?
"I don't fucking know Bill, can we? Cause I’ve tried. But every time you leave. Or we say ‘tomorrow’. But there’s never been a tomorrow, has there?” You couldn't look at him. If you did, you'd break. "I'm exhausted with this back and forth. Trying to manage being your Healer who understands how difficult this has been for you and being your friend who doesn't understand why you won't let me help you." You could hear him move, but you kept your gaze fixed on the stairs. "I can't keep doing this, having this same conversation with you. I know it's a lot, I get it, I do, but I'm terrfied I'm going to watch you die in this fucking cottage because your ego is too fucking big to let someone take care of you." He was standing right behind you. You could step back, let his arms wrap around you.
"I had nightmares." It was a fragile confession. An admission he didn't want to give. "Every night after that first one in the Hospital Wing. They always changed, but it was mostly just Greyback and Death Eaters coming after the people I cared about. Every night. Except the night Mad-Eye died. I thought maybe it was because I lived it that night, because they came back. And then we came here and it was so…peaceful. I just slept. Until I fucked everything up and left. The only night since then that I haven't dreamed of death and blood is the night I came back."
"You should have told me."
"What was I supposed to say? Sleep with me so I don't have bad dreams?"
You spun, shoving your finger into his chest. "And there's that fucking ego, Bill." "Ego? You think this has all been about my ego?"
"I know tonight was."
He started to say something, reconsidered, and said instead, "Alright you got me there. But, but, wait, please," he grabbed your hand as you'd begun to turn away again. "Think about this from my perspective, yeah? You’ve made it abundantly clear that you would do whatever it takes to make me feel even an ounce of relief.”
“Of course I would.”
“And don’t you see the problem with that? If I’d told you in the beginning that I needed to sleep with you and needed to fuck you, you’d have done it.”
“It would've taken me a bit to come around to it," maybe not as long as you'd like to admit, "but yeah. Yeah, I would have.”
“But not because you would have wanted to.”
He was wrong, but it only made you feel worse. “Do you realize how unethical it is for me to want to fuck you, Bill? It goes against everything I’m supposed to be as your Healer. You don’t have control over what’s happening to you, how your body’s reacting, and I’m supposed to be helping you through it, not taking advantage of you.”
“Taking advantage of me? I’ve got almost ten years on you. These last few months have been hell for you and now—now you depend on me for almost everything. What I want is depraved." He still held your hand, now clutching it against his chest. "I'm supposed to keep you safe and instead all I can think about half the time is…Merlin, you don't need to know. And maybe, maybe I can't help that, but I never had to drag you into it." Like you knew you would, you broke. Reaching up, you cupped his face. His scruff scratched at your palm as he leaned into the touch. "You didn't drag me into anything."
"I did, didn't I? Bringing you here? I should've taken you somewhere else with someone else."
"I think you're forgetting if it wasn't for you and Remus, I'd be dead. And if you hadn't been so quick at the wedding, I'd either been caught by Death Eaters or Cillian." His grip tightened on your hand, eyes clenched shut. "We've made the best choices we can, Bill. The ones that've kept us alive."
"It doesn't feel like there's been any choices."
"Well we have a choice now. We can figure out another living situation for me, with someone else and hope that alleviates some of your symptoms. Let me finish," you said as he opened his mouth. "We can do that. Or we can ignore how complicated and unethical it is for me to stay and we do what we need to do for each other. What we want to do to each other. But only, only if let me take care of you."
"So you do want me?" "Bill Weasley, did you hear any other words I said?"
His hand took hold of your waist, pulling you closer. "Every one of 'em. I'll let you run any test, answer any question, poke and prod whatever you need, follow every instruction you give. Promise. Just stay with me."
"I'm not doing this again. I won't have this conversation a third—" you paused and corrected, "a fourth time. If you can't—"
"We won't." His grip tightened, forehead pressing against yours. "We'll do it your way."
"Okay. Good." He felt so warm. "Maybe we should get to bed?"
“Yeah.”
“Together, right?”
“I do need you to keep away the bad dreams,” he mused before sweeping you into his arms. His amused chuckle as you questioned how he kept picking you up so effortlessly left you feeling breathless. “You’re light as a feather, love.”
It was only a few minutes later that he was breathing evenly beneath you in the small bed upstairs, an arm draped around your waist. He wasn't Cillian. You weren't Fleur. This wasn't a relationship. For now though, this was enough. One day it wouldn't be, but you closed your eyes and slept.
Nothing could have made you leave bed. It smelled too good, felt too warm. After weeks of terrible sleep, it was heaven. From Bill's steady breath against your hair, it seemed he wouldn't crawl out of bed anytime soon either.
Almost nothing could have made you leave bed.
Nothing but a loud pop, followed closely by another.
You were jinxed. You had to be. It was the only explanation for a Weasley horde popping into existence so early in the morning with Bill still wrapped around you in bed. Bill's wide-eyed terror mirrored your own as the shrill voice of Molly shrieked at the familiar laughter of Fred, George, and Ginny.
"...to Diagon Alley! Alone! To think I trusted you boys with her!"
"It was a quick stop," one of the twins insisted as you both fell out of bed and scrambled down the stairs. "Needed to grab something from the shop," said the other.
"And no one even saw me!” Ginny added.
“But what if they had! Don’t you think it would have raised a very dangerous question of exactly how you’d appeared there when no one saw you leave the Burrow? Hmm? They think they're watching our every move! We cannot have them question that!”
Five heads of fiery red hair came into view of the windows causing your own to whip around the house in case anything screamed, “We had sex last night!” Bill seemed to do the same. He dove for something on the floor that you couldn’t see from the table. He managed to straighten up just before the door burst open.
Fred—you knew it was him because he had both his ears—was the first of the brood to come through with George and Ginny close on his heels. “Mornin’ Bill! Mornin’ Gorgeous!”
“Merlin, Fred! Have no manners stuck in that head of yours?” Molly gripped as she followed. She turned from her son and fixed you with a softer, apologetic look. “Sorry dear. We didn’t mean to burst in."
"Oh, we most certainly did," Fred countered as he made his way to you and threw an arm around your shoulders. George added, mirroring his twin, “We were hoping to catch you two doing something naughty.”
"That's it! Both of you, back to the Burrow!"
Whining shouts of protests came from the three younger Weasley siblings as you were released. “It was a joke!” “Can’t anyone have a good laugh these days?” "But it's my last day!"All you could do was hope that nothing in your face gave away the very naughty things they'd have caught you doing if they'd come by the night before.
As the argument continued, Arthur took the opportunity to break away. He approached Bill, his expression markedly more subdued than the others. He whispered something into his son's ear. Bill's gaze flitted to you—in worry? Horror? Embarrassment? Oh gods, did Arthur know? Did they all know? An uncomfortable bubbling in your stomach grew as the two disappeared into the bedroom Kingsley had occupied the day before.
“One more toe out of line and I will send you back, do you hear me?”
Your gaze snapped back to the others. No. They didn’t know. Fred and George would certainly never let you live it down if they’d known. Molly would not be looking at you with any kindness if she thought you’d taken advantage of her son. And Ginny… you didn’t want to know what she would do. You’d seen the aftermath of her hexes.
"Now outside. The three of you."
Ginny gave you a small wave as she followed her brothers outside. Definitely didn’t know.
"Again, very sorry dear," Molly said kindly. “It was just supposed to be Arthur popping over, but Ginny overheard and well, she heads off to Hogwarts tomorrow and she’s been wanting to come.”
“Of course, yeah—yeah. I think Bill mentioned he wanted to have everyone over. Before, you know, Kingsley and all that. Something about fighting chickens?”
“Chicken Fight. The kids do love that game.”
“Right, yeah. So, um, has something happened?” Your fingers picked at your lip as you nodded towards the bedroom. “You know, since Arthur was coming by.”
Molly hesitated before giving a smile that didn’t reach her eyes. “Just normal Order business. Nothing to fret about.”
When you'd gone off to the farm, you hadn't really thought about bringing along a swimsuit. Molly, the ever prepared mother, had brought along an extra one-size-fits-all swimsuit for you. So you spent hours on the sand and in the water with the Weasleys doing your best to act like everything was completely and utterly fine.
Like you weren’t worried about what had happened between you and Bill the night before, or worried for his health, or worried about what that horrified look meant, or worried about Ginny going to Hogwarts the next day, or worried if Kingsley was alright, or worried if someone else was going to show up on the verge of death again.
You were fine.
Completely and utterly fine.
“You alright?” Fred asked as he sat next to you on one of the towels. His hair still dripped, his siblings continuing to toss around a Quaffle in the water.
You gave your best attempt at a smile as you pulled your knees tighter against your chest. “Yeah, of course.” You'd never been good at acting.
“Really?”he asked with a raised brow and skeptical tone. "Cause I don't think I've seen you crack a smile at all today."
Resting your chin on your arm, you watched Bill get tackled and dragged down into the waves by Ginny and George. Arthur was passed out a few feet away turning a shade that would rival his hair and Molly was sitting peacefully under an umbrella reading. Bill and Arthur had come out of the room like nothing had happened. Joking, playing, teasing with their family with an uncomfortable force. They wanted everyone distracted for the day.
"Maybe not alright. I'm worried about Ginny and all the other kids going off to a castle crawling with Death Eaters," you conceded. A half-truth. It would be Madam Pomfrey's first time completely alone in the Hospital Wing after three years of your help. She didn't need you, of course, she was more than capable of doing her job before you'd even been thought into existence. But you could imagine this year would be more of a strain than any other she'd experienced.
More than the year He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named hid behind the turban of Qurrial.
More than the year the Chamber of Secrets opened and petrified Muggleborns.
More than the year dementors roamed the grounds.
More than the year of the Triwizard Tournament.
More than the year Dolores Umbridge tortured kids in detention.
Even more than the last year that ended with Death Eaters storming the castle.
“We’re all worried,” he said, shielding his face from his siblings to hide his frown. “I—I tried to talk her out of going. Told her we wouldn’t mind going into hiding. But she’s stubborn.”
“Stubborn is a famous Weasley trait, isn't it?” It was meant as a joke, but it came out too dry. If there was anything you knew it was how stubborn a Weasley could be.
“Suppose it is.” He laughed softly as his sister ramed her shoulder into George's side, sending him toppling into the water. "Can you do me a favor?"
You side eyed him, knowing not to trust anything he asked of you. You'd seen plenty of people in the Hospital Wing after doing favors for him and George.
"Forget about it all for a few hours. Try to enjoy what's left of today." You looked back to the water. George and Ginny squabbled over the Quaffle. Bill was standing to the side, his face turned towards where you sat at the beach. "If not for yourself, then for Ginny."
Fred stood then, sand sticking to his trunks. Extending his hand, he smiled expectantly. "Let's go challenge Ginny and George to a chicken fight, yeah?"
Your response was automatic. "George is not cleared to have that sort of pressure on his ear."
"He's totally fine though!"
You scoffed, finally taking his hand to stand. "He is not! He has a hole where his ear should be."
"Oh, come on, love," he said, watching as you dusted sand off yourself, "can't we be a bit ear-responsible today?"
A smile fought to take hold of your lips and you had to look away from his triumphant gleam. "No George. But Bill did promise me a game."
"Oh, Ginny'll be stoked about that." He took your hand again, dragging you into the cold water. "Oy, you lot! Time for a good ole' game of chicken fight, yeah?" George cheered. "Not you though, Georgie Boy. Our little healer says you've got to sit this one out." George booed.
"She's with me," Bill said, nodding at you.
Fred tugged you closer, throwing an arm over your shoulders. "Fat chance on that, mate!"
"Does no one want me as their partner?" Ginny pouted. She didn't seem very serious, but it was enough for Bill to concede. It wasn't enough, however, to keep him from warning his brother that one inappropriate joke would end up with him sent back to the Burrow. Fred's promise of good behavior did little to soften the eldest's irritation.
He was jealous.
Ridiculously jealous.
Ginny suffered for it. What should have been an easy win for her, turned into a struggle with Bill constantly losing balance in the waves sending them both crashing down with the slightest push. Ginny still managed to bring you down a few times, but Fred was steady on his feet. It was Ginny, pushing hair and water out of her face as she stood back up again, who suggested a partner change.
Fred was reluctant to let you go. Didn't the two of you make an excellent team, after all? But you worried Bill might snap, the blue in his eyes barely visible with how wide his pupils had grown.
"It's just a game," you reminded him lowly before he knelt down in shallow water to let you climb on. He gave no response beyond a content hum when your thighs pressed against his face. This time it was Bill who suffered. More so than Ginny had. How, exactly, were you supposed to focus on a game when his hands were on you?
Fred took the wins with all the modesty of a Gryffindor. His boasting you could handle, but his attention focusing on you, trying to flirt like he always would was detrimental to Bill’s health. And his.
It was Molly’s fretting over George getting sand in his ear that gave a perfect excuse to ease the tension. Physicals. Everyone needed one. See how George's ear had been healing, check no one had come under the Imperius Curse. It’s what you were supposed to do in the morning with Bill, anyways. One by one you examined the Weasley's in the room you'd occupied upstairs. Molly was the first, voicing her concerns over each of the others. Arthur came next. He was silent, only answering questions asked. Then it was Ginny. She cried. She'd tried not to, but she was sixteen and the world had fallen apart around her. A small drop of Essence of Dittany cleared up the redness in her eyes before she returned to her family. Fred and George were together, amusing themselves with their banter.
And last was Bill. The door hadn't been shut more than a second before you were pressed against it.
"It's all in my head." His kiss was soft, but desperate. "It's all in my head," he repeated against your lips. Your fingers brushed a strand of his hair back into place. "It's just Fred being Fred. He doesn't know."
"Maybe we should tell him."
You chuckled, but he didn't. "Bill."
His response was to trail kisses along your jaw.
"Bill," you said firmer, pushing lightly against his chest. "We're not telling him. Or anyone."
"Why not?"
"Because how do we explain…this?"
"We don't have to explain. We tell them we're together and that's all."
Your heart clenched. It was one thing for you to know that you were filling the voids left by the war, but for the world to see that? No one would believe you were together for anything beyond convenience and desperation. It would be easier to explain the truth. "I'm not going to lie to everyone about what this is."
He pulled back, turning away and running a hand through his hair. "Right." He plopped on the bed. "You're right. You're not going to lie to anyone that we're together when we're not. I'll keep my emotions in check."
"It's not like we're going to have people here often. We'll be alone again in a few hours."
He nodded, blinking up at you in a neutral expression. "You're right. We should get on with the physical. It's part of the deal for you staying, isn't it?"
“Fine.” You went through the motions, checking him over. He was fine, a little better than normal even. His heart rate was accelerated, but considering his day that wasn’t much of a surprise. His mood has somewhat recovered before you returned to his family, thanking you with a searing kiss.
An extra chair had been transfigured from some old driftwood to add a seventh seat at the table for dinner. Fred and George had tried to take the side with three chairs, hoping to trap someone between them. But Molly was far too used to their antics and sent them to the other side to sit by themselves. Ginny was a buffer between you and Bill, his father beside him and Molly next to you at the ends. Ginny kept you talking throughout most of the meal Molly had made, asking as discreetly as she could about healing spells.
“It was so nice to come here today,” Molly said, dabbing a napkin under her eyes. “I’m so glad you suggested it, Ginny.”
“It was lucky dad needed to come today.”
George asked, mouth full. “Why did you need to come today?” Fred, needing to be part of the conversation too, asked, “Yeah, what’d ya have to tell Bill?”
You were going to let it be a family squabble, but Arthur made the mistake of looking at you and averting his gaze too quickly. “Bill?”
“I don’t think now is the appropriate time to discuss it,” Arthur said.
Bill disagreed. “Cillian went to his office. Asking questions about you.”
Welcome Home, Bill Weasley
Tumblr media
Relationship: Bill Weasley x fem!reader
Word Count: 1.4k
Summary: With his hair short and facial stubble, Bill Weasley returns from London. You are only staying with The Burrow family for the summer. You weren't expecting to see a person whose face you had memorized over time.
Sunlight poured through the slightly tattered curtains, casting a warm glow on the worn countertops and the mismatched china displayed on the shelves.
The sound of running water filled the air as you diligently washed dishes, a contented smile on your face.
You loved these moments, the simplicity of domesticity, and the sense of belonging you felt within the walls of this magical home. It was a place that held so many memories and where you had found a surrogate family.
Just as you reached for another plate, a voice called out from the living room. "Darling!" Mrs. Weasley's voice echoed through the house.
You turned your head, your heart skipping a beat as you caught sight of Mrs. Weasley's expression. In an instant, you felt your breath catch in your throat, anticipation and curiosity flooding your senses.
Mrs. Weasley moved swiftly, gently bumping you aside as she grabbed a towel and hurried to the kitchen sink.
"There's no need to do these!" she exclaimed, her hair slightly disheveled and a rosy flush adorning her cheeks.
Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion, but you couldn't contain your curiosity. "What's happening, Mrs. Weasley?" you asked, your voice filled with both concern and intrigue.
Mrs. Weasley glanced at you with a mix of excitement and motherly affection. "Molly, sweetie," she corrected, a fond smile playing on her lips. "Just call me Molly."
You blinked, surprised by the sudden change in address, but a warm smile spread across your face. "Alright, Molly," you replied, feeling a sense of closeness and acceptance wash over you.
Before you could ask further, a familiar figure appeared in the doorway, causing your heart to race. Bill Weasley stood there, his presence filling the room with a mix of surprise and joy. His hair was slightly tousled, and a crooked grin adorned his handsome face.
You felt your knees weaken, your breath catching in your chest. You hadn't expected Bill to return home so soon. Memories of your past flooded your mind, the way his laughter could make your heart skip, the way his eyes held a spark of mischief and tenderness.
Mrs. Weasley wasted no time, abandoning the sink to rush into Bill's arms. The motherly embrace enveloped him, her words muffled against his chest.
The Burrow creaked as the rest of the Weasley family gathered in the kitchen, their cheerful presence filling the space with warmth and familiarity.
Bill's gaze met yours, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still. The air crackled with unspoken emotions as he released his grip on his mother. He started walking towards you, his gaze never leaving yours.
Your heart pounded in your chest, and you could feel your palms growing clammy.
He drew you into a tight embrace, his arms enveloping you in warmth and familiarity. Your arms instinctively wrapped around his neck, holding him close, savoring the sensation of being in his arms once again.
Bill leaned back slightly, his hands resting gently on your waist, as he looked at you with a mix of surprise and delight.
You were left shivering as Ron tugged on his shirt, prompting him to step back.
"Come join me and George in the yard!" Ron exclaimed eagerly.
"Ron, my dear," Molly interjected, affectionately tousling his hair. "Let Bill settle in first, please."
Bill waved his hand dismissively. "It's alright, he's just thrilled to see me."
In one swift motion, he scooped Ron up and hoisted him over his shoulder, letting Ron's head hang loosely against his back.
"Let's go, you goofballs!" he shouted, pushing George through the rear door.
The remaining Weasley brothers followed Bill outside, ready to practice the new spells they had recently learned in class.
Caught up in the excitement, you couldn't resist joining them outside. You took a deep breath, your heart fluttering as you watched Bill playfully interact with his brothers outside.
The familiar warmth of the Burrow surrounded you, creating a sense of comfort and belonging. You couldn't deny the joy you felt at his return, even though you knew he was involved with someone else.
As the chaos settled outside, you stepped out onto the porch, your eyes searching for Bill among the boisterous Weasley clan. You found him leaning against a tree, catching his breath from the playful wrestling match with Ron.
Your eyes met, and a soft smile spread across his face as he made his way towards you. Your heart skipped a beat, and you couldn't help but smile in return.
“Hey," Bill said, his voice gentle and warm. "It's good to see you here."
Your fingers nervously played with the hem of your shirt as you replied, "It's good to be here. The Burrow feels like home."
Bill's gaze softened, and he took a step closer to you. "You've always been a part of this family, Y/N," he said, his voice filled with sincerity. "It's good to have you back."
You swallowed the lump in your throat, your eyes shining with unspoken emotions. "Thank you, Bill," you whispered. "I've missed being around all of you."
As they stood there, the gentle breeze carrying the scent of fresh grass and the laughter of the Weasley siblings, you felt a mixture of contentment and longing. The years apart had changed you both, but the connection you shared remained.
Bill reached out and gently brushed a strand of hair behind your ear, his touch sending shivers down your spine. "You know," he said softly, his voice filled with a hint of hesitation, "things have changed since we last saw each other."
Your breath hitched, your eyes locked with his, your heart pounding in your chest. "Yes, they have," you replied, your voice barely above a whisper.
Bill took another step closer, the space between you shrinking. "But some things haven't changed," he murmured, his voice low and filled with tenderness. "The way you make me feel, Y/N... it's still there."
A mix of hope and uncertainty swirled within your heart. You wanted to believe that you could find your way back to each other, but you also didn't want to disrupt the life he had built with Fleur.
"Bill," you began, your voice filled with vulnerability, "I don't want to complicate things. You have someone special in your life."
He gently cupped your cheek, his thumb tracing a soft caress. "Fleur and I, we're going through a difficult time," he confessed. "Being here, seeing you again... it makes me question everything."
Your eyes searched his face, searching for any sign of doubt or hesitation. "Bill, I don't want to be the reason for any pain or confusion," you said, your voice trembling slightly.
Bill's gaze held a mixture of longing and determination. "You've never been a burden, Y/N," he said, his voice filled with certainty. "If anything, you've always been the one who brings light into my life."
The air around you was heavy with unspoken desire and the lingering question of what could be. You knew you had a choice to make – to explore the possibility of a renewed connection with Bill or to protect your heart from potential heartache.
With a mix of courage and vulnerability, you leaned in, your lips just inches away from his. "Bill," you whispered, your voice barely above a whisper, "I can't promise you a future or how things will unfold, but I do know that being here, in this moment, feels right."
Bill's eyes searched yours, a swirl of emotions reflecting in his gaze. He closed the remaining gap between you, his lips softly brushing against yours. The kiss was tender, filled with unspoken longing and the weight of your shared history.
Your heart fluttered as you wrapped your arms around him, deepening the kiss. Time seemed to stand still as you lost yourselves in the warmth and sweetness of the moment. The worries and uncertainties faded away, leaving only the electric connection between you.
Your embrace tightened, as if trying to hold onto the preciousness of the moment. You could feel the familiar touch of his hand at the small of your back, his fingers tracing gentle circles, and it felt like coming home.
You were finally home.
Note: Bill Weasley is underrated, that’s all I have to say.
Kinktober Day 19- Truth or Dare- Charlie Weasley
Tumblr media
warning: master/slave,anal,female masturbation,blowjob.
“Can we play with your hair?” You and Tonks asked Bill Weasley who was perched on the floor with you, Tonks and Charlie playing Truth or Dare. “Fine” he mumbles as you and Tonks wave your wands changing colours and styles until you land on green pig tails. You two giggling and satisfied with leaving his hair like that.
“Okay, my turn” Bill announces to the room, “Charlie, truth or dare?” “Truth,” he says to his older brother. “Who's your favourite sibling?” laughter filled the room as Charlie replied, “you Bill” he mumbles to his proud brother.
“Okay, Dears, we are going to bed don't be too loud you'll wake the kids” Molly announces to the room as Arthur and Molly hug their sons before departing from the room.
“Now the real fun can begin” Bill announced rubbing his hands together.
Charlie looked around the room before landing on you, “truth or dare?” feeling the intense gaze of everyone in the room you answered with truth as Charlie raised his eyebrows and said “neck, ear or nipple which do you prefer to have nibbled on?” a chorus of ooh’s went around the room.
“Neck” you mumbled softly, you turned to Tonks to ask truth or dare and there was no surprise when she picked dare. “Tonks, perform a sexy dance in front of everyone” “only if you do it too” she announced pulling you to your feet.
You and Tonks danced for the brothers who were mesmerized by your moves from the stay of your hips to your shaking of your breasts judging from the smiles on their faces and their hands covering their crotches. They thoroughly enjoyed it.
Sitting back down Tonks turned to Charlie and asked him truth or dare, he picked truth as Tonks leaned closer and said “who was the last person you dreamt about?” Charlie's freckled face flushed as his eyes met yours as he said your name. Tonks and Bill grilling Charlie about the contents of this dream as you continued staring at him your cheeks burning. Charlie replied “I’ve fucked her in loads of positions” which made you smile.
Truthfully, you had a crush on the Weasley and loved his dedication to dragons and Quidditch, but you always thought he wouldn't ever see you as anything more than a friend.
He turned to you asking you the burning question, This time you chose dare. He nodded announcing “touch yourself until your next turn” everyone looked at you as your eyes grew. “Here? In front of everyone,” he looked at Bill and Tonks before turning back to you and nodded.
You lifted your skirt until it was bunched around your waist as your fingers slid between your thighs, your gaze fixated on Charlie you slid your fingers into the waistband of your panties working your fingers into your cunt letting out a small moan at the feeling.
With a shaky breath you gave Tonks her next dare. “Make out with Bill” you dared, as you gently stroked yourself as spread the moisture around your cunt. Before alternating between teasing your clit to plunging deep inside yourself.
As they turn to each other you keep your gaze on Charlie who is palming his erect cock through his pants. You push a finger inside you as you begin to pump them in and out as fast as you can.
Your back arches as you release sharp intakes of air and mumbled words of pleasure. Your legs shake as cum flows down leaving a wet patch on the floor.
Conveniently it was Bill's turn to tell you a dare. “Become a slave for 10 minutes to Charlie” you slid closer to him as you cup his face in your hands, “Master I'm all yours” he swears under his breath before he kisses you pulling you flush against him, “on your knees, now?” He said breathlessly as you knelt before him. “Open wide” you obeyed his command letting your lips part as his erect cock slips into your mouth slowly. You painstakingly run your tongue all over the sensitive head of his cock.
You moan at the luscious taste. You began to lower your mouth on his cock inch by inch getting as much of his cock as your throat could handle. His strong hands gripped your hair as your tongue ran around his tip to his shaft in one long lick. You start to raise and lower your mouth over him sucking at him as he grunts in approval. His hands on your hair dictate how much his thrusting into your mouth.
When Charlie suddenly stopped you “god I want you to taste my cum, but I also want to fuck you so badly, get on all fours” you obeyed his command getting in position and awaiting your next instruction. You felt Calloused hands stroking your ass as he rubbed lube onto his hard cock.
He pressed his cock against your ass, not yet inside you as he slowly inserted himself inside you as you took him in as your body stretched to accommodate his big cock. You felt him move inside you pushing himself in deeper until his moving in long strokes.
You moaned his name as you felt his hips flush against your ass, as he thrusts in and out of you. His hand moves to your clit stimulating that in rhythm with his thrusts. His intense pounding and the pressure on your clit was too much, as you felt yourself tighten, whole body shaking as your orgasm approached.
The pounding continued until you felt Charlie still, him emptying himself inside you as his body shook through his own orgasm. You pulled apart bodies dripping with sweat. As the room became clearer you looked up to see Tonks and Bill pleasuring themselves to the scene in front of them.
“Fuck, that was hot” Tonks moaned as she bucked her hips against her hand trying to get deeper. Your eyes went to Bill who had his erect cock in his hand stroking it from shaft to tip with his head tilted back.
You turned to Charlie as you were now filled with determination. A new mission for years to come, You waned to replay every dream Charlie had about you with him. But one thig is for certain, you didn’t care if you had an audience or not as long as you had Charlie Weasley.
Sneaking Around (Bill Weasley)
You and Bill have been together for a while now, but still, sneaking into each other’s rooms is never easy.
I cringe as the stair creaks under my weight.
After a few seconds and no movement, I deem it safe to open one eye. Then another.
Quietly, and even more carefully now, I make my way up the stairs of the burrow until I come to the 2nd to last floor.
Above me lies the attic, and I can just make out the sounds of Ron snoring through the thin walls.
God bless you Harry, I think to myself. I can’t imagine having to fall asleep listening to all that ruckus.
The door lets out a little creak even as I attempt to open it as gently as possible.
It’s like entering a blast from the past. Vintage posters line the walls. In the corner stands an old dresser, and in the center of the room, underneath the only window, lies a small twin bed. A red checkers blanket lies rumpled, the lump in the bed moving upon hearing my entrance.
Bill peeks out from underneath the comforter, then moves up, allowing the blanket to fall lower, exposing his well-toned abs to me.
He leans back on one hand, the other coming up to rub his eyes.
I move closer, sharing a secret smile with him as he scoots back and lifts the blanket. It’s a quiet invitation that I have no qualm in taking.
‘Well this is a nice surprise,’ he whispers, pecking my temple affectionately. ‘I didn’t expect for you to take my suggestions so literally.’
I take my time answering, instead choosing to meet him halfway in a kiss as my hands massage down his chest.
‘And are you mad about it?’
‘Mad? How could I be mad?’
I chuckle softly as he moves to kiss down my neck, starting at my ear and stopping just short of my collarbone.
But we freeze when a loud thump sounds from below.
Images flash through my head. Visions of a screeching Molly Weasley coming at me in her nightgown, wielding a ladle and going on and on about propriety.
It feels like hours, but could really only be seconds, as we wait with bated breath. Then, we both deflate, the tension seeping from our bones as our strained ears are met with nothing but silence.
Then we settle down. The night is full of barely-there kisses, soft touches, and gentle caresses of any visible skin.
That's how I fall asleep, snuggled so close I'm nearly on top of him, his scent invading my nose from where my head's tucked securely in the nape of his neck.
..............................................................................................................................
‘Well, well, well, what do we have here?’
The voices are identical, and I groan as I blink blearily at them.
The twins.
Urgh. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I wonder why exactly it is they’ve chosen to bother me so early in the morning.
That is until the pillow I’m lying on moves, and the arm slung over my waist tights, forcing me to snuggle further into Bill’s warm body. Bill’s warm body?
I shoot up at the realization, smacking Bill awake and snatching the blanket up to cover me in the process.
He shoots up behind me, hands coming to rest on my waist as he shoots daggers at his brothers.
‘Who let you two in here? And where the hell’s Charlie? He was supposed to watch the door.’
Charlie suddenly appears at the door, out of breath and panting.
‘Sorry guys, I tried, I really did.’
‘So,’ one of the twins starts, drawing out the word as he wriggles his eyebrows at me.
‘How long has this been going on?’
‘Just started,’ I say, at the same time Bill says ‘two years.’
‘Two years!’ The twins ask, jaws dropping. ‘But you were still in Hogwarts then?’
‘Yeah…?’
‘No, that’s great. We’re happy for you guys.’
They turn as another shriek from Molly bellows up from the kitchen below.
‘Can’t believe Bill’s secret is that he’s been sneaking girls into his room.’
‘Oi,’ Bill yells, throwing a baseball hat at the twins as they duck for cover.
‘It’s only one girl!’
Ron Weasley x Female!Gryffindor Reader
Warnings: Language, Ron having his seizure in Slughorn's office
Word Count: 3.2k
Author's Note: Hooray for my first Ron Weasley fic! :D I've been on a Harry Potter kick recently, rewatching all of the movies for like the 200th time (each) and I feel like there's not too many fics about Ron! Ron was one of the first characters I really fell in love with (Before Fred lolol I just want all of the Weasley's.) and I hope this did him justice! This is based during Half Blood Prince (Lavender Brown) times, for a time setting hehe! Hope you all enjoy!
~Mod Shoyo <3
After helping Gryffindor in their tremendous victory, the new keeper, Ron Weasley, became a hot commodity. The night of the game, everyone gathered in the Gryffindor common room to honor and celebrate how amazingly well he did at preventing Slytherin from scoring. Harry, Y/N, and Hermione were all watching as people fawned over Ron.
“It’s nice that Ron has the spotlight, isn’t it?” Y/N giggled, watching red and gold confetti fall over his fiery Weasley locks.
“Yeah, it’s nice when it isn’t me for once.” Harry replied with a smile. Y/N and Hermione both rolled their eyes and scoffed.
As Ron came down from the pedestal he was standing on, Lavender Brown grabbed his hand tightly in hers. Y/N watched with furrowed eyebrows as she gripped his face in her palms, smashing her lips onto his. Her eyes widened and she turned to Hermione, watching her expression shift as well. When Y/N turned back around, Ron’s arms were wrapped around Lavender’s waist, pulling her into his body even more.
Y/N rolled her eyes and walked out of the common room, Hermione following her immediately. As the two best friends made it into one of the empty stairwells, Y/N finally sucked in a large breath, sniffling as she exhaled shakily. Hermione rubbed her back comfortingly and sighed, sitting down with her on one of the steps.
“I-is Ron even close with Lavender?” Y/N choked out. “I’ve never seen them interact once until tonight.”
Hermione rolled her eyes. “I've only seen her look at Ron from afar. It's quite creepy, if you ask me.”
Y/N shook her head and looked down into her lap. Her lip was quivering whenever she wasn’t talking. As her teardrops hit the floor, another set of footsteps came down the stairs. Harry had followed Y/N and Hermione, his posture stiffening when he could hear Y/N crying. Hermione looked up at Harry and gave him a disapproving look.
“I’m not sure what’s gotten into him,” Harry sighed. “Bloody twit, he doesn’t know how to deal with so many compliments at once.”
"Obviously," Hermione stated matter-of-factly.
Y/N stayed quiet, looking out one of the barred windows and keeping her eyes on the moon. She sniffled and found herself getting lost in the night sky. It always looked so much prettier when she had a lot on her mind. It almost served as a comfort to her, because who knows what all is going on in that black sky? And here she was, just staring at a small fraction of whatever was really out there.
Two sets of footsteps echoed through the stairwell and Y/N turned at the sound of them. Low and behold, Ron and Lavender came bustling through, both of them out of breath as they stared at the three Gryffindors. Lavender bit her lip and took note of Y/N's bloodshot and puffy eyes. She shifted her gaze to Ron with a very sneaky smirk, giggling softly as she tugged on his arm.
“I think this room’s taken…”
Ron chuckled softly and finally followed her down the stairs, sparing Y/N one last glance before they set out to another set of stairs. Y/N let out a harsh scoff and stood up angrily, stomping back up the stairs into the common room. She’d much rather go to bed than have to deal with the look Ron gave her before Lavender dragged him away.
---------
Ron was starting to get unbearable.
Despite how much Y/N liked him, she couldn’t help but start to slowly despise him the more he hung out with Lavender. Apparently they were dating now, so now there really was no hope for Y/N. Tonight was something different, however.
Harry called Y/N into the boys dormitories with no context, her mind racing as she opened the door. When the room was revealed to her, Ron was slumped in a chair staring out of the large window that was in the back of the room. Y/N's eyebrows furrowed as she walked over to Harry, also managing to get a better look at Ron in the process.
“What’s up with him?” Y/N queried, watching Harry’s slender finger point towards the box of chocolates Ron was clutching to his chest.
On the top, Y/N saw a sticky note with some handwriting on it. It was so neat, she knew it was a girl’s. She squinted her eyes to read the print and made out what it had said.
A gift from me to you, Harry.
-Romilda <3
Y/N turned to look at Harry with confusion, wondering why Ron was acting so weird if all he ate was chocolate.
The more she thought, the more she started to remember about Slughorn’s class and his lesson on amortentia potions. Y/N audibly groaned and turned to look at Harry.
“You can’t be serious,”
Harry raised his eyebrows and let out a sigh through his nostrils. “I wouldn’t have called you if I wasn’t, I’m afraid.”
Ron was babbling some nonsense, talking about how Romilda was the one for him. How she reminded him of the moon in the sky. Y/N nearly gagged at the sound of all of his heartfelt professions of love for Romilda. He really needed to stop eating everything that he sees, this amortentia spell being the prime example of it.
Once Harry and Y/N managed to lead Ron to Slughorn’s office, she grabbed the brass knocker in the middle of the door and slammed it three times. After a few moments, the door opened ever so slightly, only enough for Slughorn to peek his face through the crack in the door.
“Mr. Potter, Miss L/N, it’s past your curfews,”
Y/N held the door open. “Professor it’s an emergency, we think Ron ate some chocolate laced with amortentia!”
Slughorn opened the door all the way, ushering his three students inside before closing the door behind him. Slughorn walked over to his desk, opening a couple of drawers before pulling out a small chalice and a glass bottle.
“With how well you’ve been doing in my class, I’d figure you could whip up a cure in no time, Harry!” Professor Slughorn complimented.
Once Slughorn finished mixing his herbs and liquids together, he poured the finished product into the chalice he brought out. Y/N took a peek and saw that it was a crimson red liquid. It didn’t look thick and honestly, it reminded her of Kool-Aid. As Ron took the cup in his hands, he looked up at Y/N.
“What’s this?” He questioned, smelling what was inside the cup.
“It’s tonic, for your nerves,” Slughorn responded.
Ron smiled sheepishly and brought the chalice up to his lips, taking a large sip of the cure Slughorn made. After he swallowed, his smile slowly started to fade, his eyes sharpening as he looked around the room. His eyes met with Y/N's and he finally snapped out of his love-struck daze.
“What happened to me?” Ron asked, still staring around the room like he hadn’t known how he even got there. Honestly, it wasn’t a completely irrational thing for him to say right now.
Harry sniggered and looked down at his friend with a smirk. “Love potion.”
Y/N sighed and took a seat on the couch where Ron was sitting. “A really really strong one. It was meant for Harry too.”
Ron furrowed his eyebrows and looked up at Harry. “If it was meant for you then why did it affect me?”
Y/N let out a soft laugh along with Harry. “Romilda Vane laced some chocolates for Harry with amortentia. You, being hungry, Ron Weasley, took the chocolates off Harry’s bed and ate them!”
Ron sighed and rubbed his face with the palm of his hands. Slughorn chuckled and and bustled around his desk once more, pulling out a bottle similar to a wine bottle along with four glasses. He poured the contents of whatever was in the bottle into each cup, bringing them over to hand to each of them.
“Here you go, you three,” Slughorn began. “To life!” Y/N, Harry, and Slughorn all clinked their cups together.
Ron was standing in front of the fire, already taking a sip out of his cup. Before the rest of them could take a drink from their cup, Ron fell to the floor with a harsh thud. Y/N's eyes darted over to Ron’s convulsing body, the veins in his neck popping out of his skin as his mouth started to foam. Y/N lifted Ron’s head up, starting to panic. She looked up at Harry and Slughorn, asking them to help. While Slughorn stayed looking baffled at what was going on, Harry rushed over to Slughorn’s cabinet.
Once Harry got his hands on the bezoar that was in one of the drawers, he came rushing towards Y/N. He got onto his knees and opened the packaging, grabbing the bezoar and stuffing it into Ron’s mouth. He had Y/N help make sure that Ron swallowed it, the two of them waiting in anticipation, hoping that Ron would wake up.
Moments went by, but for Y/N it felt like years. Ron hadn’t been breathing for all but five seconds, and when she finally saw his chest rise again, she let out a breath that she didn’t even know she was holding. Ron sat up, letting out a hearty cough and hunching over the carpet. Y/N and Harry felt their hearts finally start to relax again, panting as Ron turned to Harry.
“These girls are going to kill me…”
-----------
The next morning, Ron was on bed rest in Madame Pomfrey’s. Although the bezoar helped, it also made Ron very ill. Madame Pomfrey managed to help him go to sleep, reassuring Y/N and Harry that Ron would be fine once he woke up. Y/N hadn’t left Ron’s side since he had first got brought to the medical wing. She sat in her chair at his side, Hermione sitting on the other side, watching him sleep and making sure that nothing else alarming was going to happen to him.
As Dumbledore, Slughorn, McGonagall, Snape, and Harry all entered the room they let their eyes settle on the unconscious Weasley boy. He looked as pale as the white blanket that was covering his body, the fabric brought all the way up to his neck. He would’ve been hard to see had it not been for his bright red hair.
“Very good work on using the bezoar, Harry.” Dumbledore announced. “Horrace, you should be very proud of your student.”
Slughorn let out a shaky chuckle and nodded his head. “Y-Yes, very very proud…”
McGonagall spoke up in a more rational tone. “Let’s face it, had Y/N and Harry not acted as quickly as they did, Mr. Weasley would be dead!”
As Dumbledore studied the contents of the bottle that Slughorn poured their drinks with last night, Lavender Brown came running in, immediately asking for her Won-Won.
Y/N rolled her eyes the second she heard her shrill voice.
“Where’s my Won-Won?” She panicked, scanning each bed she passed as she ran through the medical wing. “Has he been asking for me?”
Y/N turned and looked at Hermione, rolling her eyes and making Hermione chuckle. The two friends stared at each other with a mutual hate for the way that Lavender sounded, let alone the way she acted now that she was Ron’s girlfriend. Y/N stood up from her chair at Ron’s side and eyed Lavender down angrily.
“What’s she doing here?” Lavender spat, eyeing Y/N down with an ugly stare.
“My friend is in the medical wing and you’re asking why I’m here?” Y/N fired back just as angrily. “What the hell are you doing here?"
Lavender gasped slightly. “I happen to be his girlfriend.”
Hermione stood up now, turning to face Lavender with a look similar to Y/N's.
“Funny how you’re his girlfriend, but only came to the medical wing just now. Y/N's been here since he got admitted.”
Lavender was anything but Ron’s girlfriend. If being boyfriend and girlfriend just meant you only used each other for secret makeout sessions in unattended stairwells, then they were soulmates. But Y/N knew that Lavender was far from being Ron’s girlfriend. With the way that Y/N always dreamed of treating Ron, Lavender just didn’t compare.
“Oh, don’t make me laugh! I suppose you want me to break up with him now that he’s suddenly all interesting?” Lavender whined.
Y/N gasped and let out dry scoff, pointing at the state that Ron was in.
“Are you stupid? Ron was poisoned you daft dimbo! He’s been my best friend way longer than you’ve known him, and he’s always been interesting to me.” Y/N spat.
Harry and Hermione smirked at Y/N's remark, not sure that they wanted to point out that she subtly mentioned her crush on Ron. The teasing would come another time, right now? They were just proud that she was sticking up for not just for herself, but for Ron too.
Ron began to shift in his bed, soft groans and murmurs falling from his lightly chapped lips. Lavender gasped and walked closer to the foot of Ron’s bed. She grabbed his leg in between her horribly painted nails, gripping it tightly.
“Ah… see? He senses my presence.” She stated matter-of-factly. “Don’t worry Won-Won, I’m here! I’m here.”
Ron’s lips parted slightly and small noises were leaving his mouth. Everyone leaned forward, curious of what he was trying to say. Lavender leaned even closer, practically throwing herself on top of his body to listen to him.
“Y-Y/N.” He whispered. Y/N could’ve sworn she was going insane. Had he really said her name?
Maybe she got hit with some amortentia and it was making her go crazy.
Ron spoke again, this time his voice was nice and clear for everyone to hear.
“Y-Y/N.”
Y/N's heart swelled with love as she realized he had in fact said her name the first time. Lavender stood up and looked at Y/N with a look that could kill. Tears welled up in her eyes and she angrily stomped her foot, turning on her heel and running out of the room crying. Dumbledore made a comment about the harsh sting of love, but Y/N didn’t know what he was talking about. The love she felt in her heart right now was something out of a movie.
Y/N gripped Ron’s hand tightly, her heart swelling even more when she could feel him weakly squeeze her hand. Y/N couldn’t wipe the smile off her face as she scooted her chair closer to Ron, lightly caressing his hand with her thumb.
“Aww, look at your little Won-Won.” Harry teased, trying to copy Lavender’s same tone of voice.
Y/N turned to look at Harry and bursted out laughing, playfully rolling her eyes. “Shut up, let me have this moment.”
Harry and Hermione burst into a fit of giggles, standing up and following the teachers out of the wing, leaving Y/N and Ron all by themselves. Y/N let out a small sigh and reached up to run her hands through Ron’s hair.
“When you wake up, I really hope that you see how much you mean to me, Weasley.”
Ron groaned as Y/N ran her fingers through his hair, Y/N giggling as she continued to lightly scratch his scalp with her fingernails.
Ron was so spoiled, but only when Y/N allowed it.
--------------
As soon as Ron woke up, he was greeted with Y/N right by his side. She smiled and gasped, throwing her arms around him as soon as he sat up in bed. He smiled softly and wrapped his arms around her, nuzzling his face into her hair. She was freshly showered, Ron could smell her shampoo and conditioner still trapped in her hair. He stroked her back lovingly, trying to hide the sound of his heart pounding against his chest.
“I’m glad you’re okay, I was so worried about you.” Y/N admitted quietly, her lips right next to his ear and even then he could barely hear her.
Ron smirked and hugged her tighter. “I’m okay. Thanks to you and Harry, of course.”
Y/N smiled and rested her face in the crook of his neck, despite how long he stayed in bed, she could still smell that classic Weasley musk that she had fallen in love with. When her and Ron finally pulled away and Ron was free to leave, he grabbed her hand and intertwined it with his.
They walked down the quiet halls of Hogwarts together, the night sky shining brightly through all of the windows. They stopped in one of the corridors and stared at one of the windows together, Y/N finding the same comfort in the night sky that she found the night Lavender and Ron first kissed.
“You really never left my side?” Ron questioned. Y/N nodded her head. “I only left to go take a shower and come back…” She admitted.
Ron’s heart filled with adoration for his best friend, his blue eyes shifting over to look at her features. Her long eyelashes looked so gorgeous, but they were only accessories compared to the beauty of her eyes. He sighed softly and pulled Y/N towards him, forcing her to look at him now.
“I know I’ve been through a lot when it comes to girls,” Ron admits. “But you’re the only girl that I really have deep feelings for.”
Y/N gasped. This is the confession she had been waiting for, for three years she dreamed of this very moment.
She was finally getting it.
“I’m sorry I put you through all of this,” He licked his lips and met her eyes.
“But I’d really like to try with you, if you’ll let me.”
Y/N visibly relaxed. A small blush tinted her cheeks and her lips spread into a gorgeous smile.
“It’s about time, Weasley.”
Ron furrowed his eyebrows with a smirk before Y/N grabbed the sides of his face in her palms, smashing her lips onto his. Ron was easily taken aback by the action, but the second he snapped out of it, his hands fell to her hips and tightly gripped them, pulling her body into his. Their chests were pressed flush against one another, their heads bobbing from side to side as they kissed. Y/N felt like her heart was going to explode, she was finally kissing Ron Weasley.
It only took three years of patience and heartbreak.
Once they pulled away, Ron smirked, resting his forehead on her own and staring into her eyes. He chuckled, watching her catch her breath in small, erratic pants.
“I could get used to that,”
Y/N rolled her eyes and kissed him once more, running her fingers through his red hair.
“I’ve been waiting for this for three years, Weasley. I think we need to make up for the lost time.”
Ron chuckled and nodded his head in agreement, grabbing her hips tightly once more and pushing his hips into her own.
“I’m ready when you are.”
