All You Had Ever Dreamed {Fili x Reader}
A.N: So this could have gone in several directions but my brain went this way, so I hope that’s alright! Also, I think I got all the pregnancy stuff right but I’m 15 so I’m sorry if it’s inaccurate. And yes, this was supposed to be short. My bad. But I actually honestly love this fic it may be one of my favorite things I’ve ever written, thank you so much for requesting it!
Requested by @lonikje on Tumblr as part of my 450 Sleepover:
Word Count: 2,019
Pairings: Fili x Reader, mentioned Bilbo x Thorin
Summary: You faint during a training session with Kili and Dwalin.
Warnings: Fluff, mention of Menstruation, Pregnancy
**** All You Had Ever Dreamed
Whirling around, you ducked Kíli’s sword and jumped out of the way of Dwalin’s ax. You struck at Kili, feeling the block he delivered reverberate down your arm, and with one of your daggers locked together with Kili’s sword used the other to deflect another blow from Dwalin. Struggling with both of them, you disengaged and backed up, watching them regroup as you did the same. It was one of the rare days where instead of going too easy on you, Dwalin had decided that you were up for a challenge.
Eight months after the Battle of the Five Armies, Erebor was thriving. Thorin had been gravely wounded but pulled through, and although Fíli and Kíli’s injuries were less gruesome they were still worrying, but now everyone was back on their feet and healthier than ever. Bilbo had stayed in Erebor, much to the delight of both the company and the men and elves who thought, correctly, that the hobbit would be much easier to negotiate with than the dwarves. You had also noticed some romantic tension between the hobbit and the king but had decided not to bring it up. You stuck to speculating with your husband and his brother.
That was right. Fíli was your husband, having done a spectacularly over-the-top proposal the second he was back on his feet. You had laughed your head off to see the throne room covered in flowers when you walked in and then started sobbing with joy when you saw your dwarf bent on one knee. And then you were laughing through the tears as, after you accepted, the company appeared from the shadows to give you congratulations and Thorin had had a fancy flower crown entwined in his hair. You suspected Bilbo, and his wink confirmed it.
You had gotten married three months later, at a ceremony attended by not only almost every dwarf in Erebor but also Kings Bard and Thranduil. It wasn’t every day that the Heir of Erebor got married, after all, and Thorin had spared no expense to make it the best celebration possible. And after the disaster that was Thorin and Bilbo’s wedding, at which Fili and Kili had gotten drunk to liven things up and almost destroyed the cake Bilbo had spent hours working on for his husband, Thorin had taken every precaution to ensure your day went off without a hitch. And somehow it had, the ceremony had taken place outside, in one of Erebor’s few outdoor courtyards. The sun had shone down on the whole gathering, the moon coming out in the night, and you thought there had never been, or ever could be such a perfect day.
Anyway, you were currently trying not to get eviscerated by the two dwarven warriors (which wasn’t technically possible, given the fact that you were using blunt weapons, but you wouldn’t put it past Dwalin. That dwarf was strong). Twin daggers clutched, you slashed at Kíli before running up the wall and flipping over his head, unsteadily landing behind him with a dagger at his throat.
You let out a breath of satisfaction, but your dagger was suddenly knocked from your hand, Dwalin barreling towards you with his hand still extended from the throw. Leaping out of the way, your breathing grew heavier as you were driven back by the two dwarves, their efforts renewed. Your head started to feel light, sort of fuzzy, and you kept backing up, blocks growing weaker. As everything faded to black and you collapsed, the last thing you heard was Kíli.
“Fíli’s going to kill me.”
You opened your eyes, everything hazy until you blinked it into focus. You were in a large room, sunlight streaming in through the windows to highlight- was that Kíli standing above you?
“Y/N!” Kíli brushed your hair back from your forehead, looking concerned. “You fainted, are you alright?”
“What are you doing here?”
He pouted. “That’s not exactly the wake-up greeting I was expecting. And didn’t you hear what I said? You fainted in the middle of training. I carried you up to Oin, you’re in the healers’ rooms right now.”
Ahh. Well, that explained why the room was so much bigger than yours, and why there were chairs arranged around the bed you were in.
“Thank you, Kíli. Do you know where Fíli is?”
“I think they sent for him a few minutes ago, you’ve only been out for about ten. He should be here-”
Kíli was cut off by Fíli shoving him away from your bed.
“Y/N!” The golden-haired dwarf exclaimed. “What happened? Are you alright? Why is Kíli here, and why is he touching your face?”
The dark-haired dwarf stood with a smirk. “I’ll just leave you two alone now,” he said and slipped out the door with a smirk.
“Fíli! Don’t be rude! Kíli was taking care of me!” Then realization dawned.
“Is somebody jealous?” You asked with a teasing smile.
Fíli blushed.
“Fíli! You shouldn’t be jealous of Kíli! First of all, it’s Kíli. If I fall in love with him, please make sure I haven’t hit my head, he’s basically my little brother. And secondly, I’ll never love anyone but you, you don’t have to worry about that.”
He smiled at you sheepishly. “I know. I was just worried, and-”
“I know,” you cut him off, grinning.
“Ah, look! It’s Oin!” You waved to the healer as he bustled in, arms full of herbs and vials.
“Ah, Oin. What is wrong with Y/N?” Your husband inquired, the worried look on his face almost comical.
“Well, it could be several things. Have you been eating enough?” The healer inquired about this while mixing up a tincture.
“Yes.”
“Sleeping regularly?”
Fíli nodded to answer this question.
“How about water? Have you been drinking enough?”
“Weelllll…” you trailed off sheepishly. “I’m not the best at remembering to drink water.”
“When did you last have a glass today?” The healer was now looking a little worried.
You cast around in your memory. “I had a glass at breakfast, but I haven’t had any more today.”
“WHAT?! YOU HAVEN’T HAD ANYTHING TO DRINK SINCE BREAKFAST?!!! IT’S THE MIDDLE OF THE AFTERNOON!” Fili was furious. Oin was nodding in agreement as well.
“I’m sorry!” You exclaimed. “I’ve just been so busy lately, and I’ve been aching so it’s more trouble than it’s worth to go all the way down to the kitchens.”
“Aching, you say?”
When you nodded, Oin came to your bedside.
“When was your last monthly bleeding?”
Fili blushed at this, and you swatted him before counting in your head.
OH.
“It’s been almost three months. We’ve been so busy I didn’t even notice!”
“Then that’s it. You fainted not only because of dehydration, which you’ll need to be much better at but also because you’re pregnant.”
“Wait. What?” Fili looked shocked.
Oin smiled at you, leaving the room.
Fili gazed down at you. “Are you really pregnant?”
You nodded. “I am. I hadn’t noticed the signs before but now that I know it’s blindingly obvious. We’re going to have a baby.”
He lifted you from the bed, spinning you around in joy before suddenly stopping.
“That can’t be good for the baby.”
You laughed. “It’s fine, Fili! I’m fine. And we’re going to be parents.”
He smiled, kissing you.
Later that day, you sat with the Company and Thorin’s sister, Dis, now your mother-in-law, in the rooms of the royal family where you all often ate. Sitting at the table, which had been built specifically for the group of sixteen, Fili kept refilling your water glass every thirty seconds. You made sure to drink enough, now that your body was supporting two. Fili glanced at you, and you realized the table had hushed, you hadn’t noticed the sound of Fili’s spoon against his glass gathering everyone’s attention.
He stood, taking your hand and pulling you up to stand next to him. “We have an announcement.”
Everyone was staring at you both expectantly, and Fili nodded at you to continue.
Smiling, you spoke. “I’m pregnant.”
“We’re going to have a baby!” Fili exclaimed.
The table erupted in cheers and well-wishes.
“So that’s why you fainted earlier!”
You silently cursed Kili, knowing that now the overprotective side of the dwarves would emerge full force. And it did, Thorin started listing everything he needed to be done for you before Dis shushed him. The king then walked up to you, arms open, and hugged you.
“Congratulations, Y/N.”
He then moved on, slapping Fili on the back before stepping back to allow the rest of the company to give their congratulations as well.
Oin winked at you as he hugged you, and said, “I would never spoil your surprise.” The rest of the group gave out hugs and congratulations to you and Fili, and you glowed with happiness, knowing there were few people better than these for your child to grow up with. Finally, Kili stepped forward.
“I’m going to have a niece or a nephew! Congratulations, Y/N, you’re going to be a great mother.” He then mock-whispered, “but I’d watch out around Fili. I’m not sure he’ll do as well.”
Fili punched his brother before grabbing him in another hug, their words whispered too softly for anyone else to hear.
Lastly, Dis came forward, wrapping you in a warm, motherly embrace. “My son is right, Y/N. You will be a wonderful mother. And, if you need any help, don’t hesitate to come to me. Mahal knows I have the experience.”
You thanked her, smiling before she ushered you and Fili out the door. “Now go to bed. It’s late, and you need your rest.” She closed the door behind you, your last glimpse a room of smiling faces.
Back in the rooms that you shared with your husband, you crawled into bed, hair loose, in your favorite nightgown. Fili motioned for you to move closer, so you did, resting your head on his chest as his arm snaked around your shoulders, hand coming to rest on top of yours, where you were unconsciously cradling your belly. He began to sing, a tune that you recognized from the beginning of your quest, so long ago.
“Far over, the Misty Mountains cold,
To dungeons deep, and caverns old.” Fili’s voice wove the song masterfully, and you were taken back to the first time you had met him, almost two years before.
You had stepped into a hobbit-hole of calm, and hearing the sound of voices walked through, careful not to hit your head until you came upon a room of singing dwarves.
You paused in the doorway, letting their song wash over you.
“The fire was red, it flaming spread.
The trees like torches blazed with light.”
They finished, and you stepped into the room. All the heads immediately turned towards you.
“Who are you?” A golden-haired dwarf looked suspicious.
You drew breath to answer, but before you could Gandalf stepped into the room.
“This is Y/N. She will be joining us on our quest.”
The dark-haired dwarf by the fire that looked rather grumpy made as if to protest, but a glare from Gandalf stopped him. The other dwarves quickly introduced themselves, and the golden-haired one stepped up last.
“Y/N, huh?”
You nodded.
“I’m Fili.”
Now, almost two years later, you were in the reclaimed mountain they had sung of, lying in bed with the golden-haired dwarf who had originally been so suspicious of you.
“We’re going to have a baby,” Fili said with a look of wonder, and you smiled at the tears of joy starting to roll down his face.
“We are.”
You kissed him, so alight with the happiness you thought you could burst, before breaking away and laying your head back on his chest. Laying there, you could hear his heartbeat, beating almost in time with your own. You couldn’t wait until the third would join them. With your husband next to you, and a baby growing inside, you finally had all you had ever dreamed of. And it was perfect.

Ooh, congrats on your followers! Also can I request 💛 Fluff #5 off the prompt list with Elrond where the reader says it to Elrond if he's having a bad day or something?
A.N: Thank you so so much! I really hope you like this- I’ve never written Elrond before so I hope I did ok. Also- this is the last of the sleepover drabble requests.
Word Count: 225
Pairing: Elrond x Reader
Summary: Elrond has had a bad day.
Warnings: Angst, Self-Hatred, Fluff
****
Your Good Days and Bad Days {Elrond x Reader}
“I know I must be so difficult to deal with sometimes and I know you want to leave and I wouldn’t blame you if you did.” His voice broke.
It was rare, even after decades of marriage, that you saw Elrond like this. He was hunched over, sitting next to you on your shared bed. He had always had bad days, but this was clearly one of the worst in a long time. You reached out to rub your hand in circles on his back, something he did whenever you were upset to calm you down.
“Let us go for a walk, my love.” You knew that the gardens always soothed him, the peaceful area paired with the calming aroma always lightening his mood.
He lifted his head up. “A walk?”
“Yes. A walk. To clear your head.”
You handed him a new robe, the other stained with tears. Once he had changed, you entwined your fingers with his. As you led him out the door, you spoke.
“And I’m not leaving. Ever.”
He looked at you. “Really? I wouldn’t blame you if you did.”
“Elrond. I will never leave you. I love you, on your good days and bad days, just as you love me.”
He smiled. “I do love you, Y/N. Very much. This is just one of the many reasons why.”

Can I request #20 from the angst list? Maybe reader has to choose between Thorin and Thranduil? Thank you!!
A.N: Ouch. Sadness. I honestly had trouble deciding where this fic should go, but this scenario felt like it had the most angst potential so there we go. Thanks so much for the request, anon, I hope you like it (or rather that it hurts your soul like it did mine)!
Word Count: 352
Pairings: Thorin x Reader, Thranduil x Reader
Warnings: Angst
****
Mirror of Devastation
You stood there on the ice, hand clenched at your side with nails digging into your palms. Thranduil stood several paces away, flanked by Bard and another elven companion. Bilbo sat near you, crouched over the dying Thorin that your other hand stretched towards.
You knew that the only way to save Thorin was to go with Thranduil. The elven-king had made that abundantly clear moments before. He would only heal Thorin if you, who loved them both, went with him. It was impossible. Going with one love to save another, knowing that that other would be alive and happy, but never getting to be with him again, only seeing him from afar.
You gazed at the elven-king, unshed tears brimming in your eyes as you looked back and forth.
“Please don’t make me choose,” you pleaded with Thranduil.
His eyes were cold, the usual softness present when he looked at you was gone.
“Do you love me, Y/N? If so this choice should not be too terrible. I promise to heal him.”
You bowed your head, walking over and taking his outstretched hand.
“Very well, then. I only ask that you allow me to say farewell once he is conscious.”
Later, you stood by Thorin’s bedside. His hand lay on the table as if tempting you to hold it, but you needed to separate yourself. His blue eyes looked on you, clear in a way you had not seen for a while.
“Goodbye, Thorin.” You spoke softly.
He blinked as if surprised.
“You chose him?”
You nodded, tears brimming again. “You have to understand that it was the only way to save you. He would not have healed you otherwise.”
“There are other healers! I would have lived anyways. I cannot believe you chose him over me.” He turned his head, as if unable to bear looking at you anymore.
“Thorin, please-”
“Guards!” He cut you off, and two unfamiliar dwarves strode in and escorted you out.
Outside the tent, you collapsed to your knees on the muddy ground as rain began to pour, mirroring the devastation in your soul.

💛 33 with Legolas <3 congrats!
A.N: I haven’t written for Legolas in so long, this honestly felt like therapy! (therapy probably shouldn’t be writing imaginary romance with fictional characters, now that I think about it. Oh well!) Anyhoo. Thank you so so much for this request, I adored it and got to break out the Legolas fluff again. I hope you like it <3!!
Word Count: 419
Warnings: Fluff, the teensiest (is that a word?) bit of Angst
****
Legolas is Terrible at Planning
You walked down the halls of the Woodland Realm, arm in arm with your betrothed, Legolas. You were heading back to your rooms after a council meeting, in which King Thranduil had appointed Legolas to travel to Imladris and bring news of the escape of the creature known as Gollum.
“I cannot believe you are going to Imladris! I would so love to see Arwen.”
He nodded. “I know. I’m hopeful that our friend Aragorn may be there as well, I have not seen him for moons.”
You smiled at him. “Well, I’m sure you’ll have a lovely time.”
Inside, you secretly wished that he would not go. You loved him and wanted him to be able to visit his friends and be happy, but part of you wished you were joining him. You did not want to be parted for the time the journey would take.
Arriving at the door to his rooms, you entered and began helping him pack. You stayed for a little while, before leaving to do the rest of your duties as one of Thranduil’s councilors. You advised the king on several diplomatic issues, most having to do with the dwarves, as the king was not known for his tact when handling such matters, all the while trying
Later that day, you headed back to Legolas’s rooms, wanting to say goodbye before his departure. Mustering up a happy face, you entered, just in time to see him shrug on his cloak.
“Meleth nin!” He greeted you, striding over for a kiss before picking up his quiver to fasten over his shoulder.
“I hope you have a safe journey.” You pressed a kiss to his lips, before breaking away and watching him walk towards the door.
You couldn’t stand it anymore.
“Legolas.”
He turned.
“Please don’t say goodbye,” you whispered.
He strode back to you, and the smirk on his face told you something was up.
“Didn’t I mention? You’re joining me!”
You smacked him. “Are you serious!”
He lifted your packed bag from where he had hidden it behind his bed in answer.
“You are terrible at planning trips. You don’t tell someone they’re going with you five minutes before you leave!” You exclaimed this, standing there with your arms crossed.
Then you smiled, grabbing it and whisking the cloak that you had conveniently left in his rooms earlier around your shoulders.
“I love you.”
“I love you too,” he said, grabbing your hand and whisking you out the door, to a new adventure.

Hello and congrats! 💛 for eomer(i still can't find fics with him...) with 4. from fluff? Thank you!
Thank you, Anon!! If you want to request Eomer stuff I love writing for him and would love to do so!
A.N: Another prompt drabble! Yay!!! (that wasn’t sarcastic I’m honestly having a blast with these!) I think this one is adorable (I’m really in a fluff mood lately for writing, which is odd because I’m loving reading angst right now). I hope you like it!!
Word Count: 354
Pairing: Eomer x Reader, implied Eowyn x Faramir
****
Promise
Sitting on your bed in the room you shared with your husband, you fumed. Your husband had sworn up and down that he would take you riding today, and you had been looking forward to it for weeks. Sure, you could have gone out on your own, but it was more fun with Eomer. And he had forgotten .
You hadn’t bothered to go to dinner, so you knew he would be along soon to check on you. Forgetful as he could be, he was a caring husband.
And there he was. The door opened and he peeked his head through, entering and shutting the door behind him when he saw you.
“My love! You didn’t come to dinner, I was worried.”
“Humph.” You scowled at him and turned your back. “Did you have fun riding today?”
He began changing into his nightclothes. “Yes, we rode out to check on- Oh crap.” He came around to face you, the sorry expression on his face almost comical.
“I’m so sorry, Y/N, I completely forgot. I’ll make it up to you.”
You humphed again, and he scrambled to come up with something, sitting on the bed next to you with a pleading expression.
“We could, I don’t know, go riding tomorrow? Um… I’ll get you a new horse. Two new horses? I’ll give you Eowyn. Yes. Eowyn. Anything you want, Y/N.”
You laughed at your panicking husband. “Eomer. It’s fine. Besides, Faramir might object to that. Now shut up and hold me.”
He blinked.
“You’re not mad?”
“I mean, I was mad at first, but you’re just absolutely ridiculous so I’m not mad anymore.”
He sighed in relief.
“Do you still want Eowyn?”
“No, you moron.”
“That’s probably good. The two of you together are a force to be reckoned with.”
You smiled at this, settling into his arms as you lay down together. Your back was against his chest, one of his arms slung around your waist, your head tucked under his chin. Comfortable, you sighed in content.
“Promise me we’ll go riding tomorrow?”
You felt his head move as he nodded.
“I promise.”

Hello! 💛 for Aragorn with 41 from fluff list?
A.N: Thanks for the request! Have some fluffy fluff to make y’all feel better from all the angst I’ve put you through recently- I haven’t been very nice lol! But this was very very fun, I just adore writing happy Aragorn! I hope you guys like this, the third-to-last of the sleepover drabbles!
Word Count: 282
Pairing: Aragorn x Reader
Warnings: Fluff, Marriage
****
Full Bloom
“Aragorn! Put me down!” You gasped in between shrieks as he spun you around.
“Why, Y/N? We just got married, I’m not sure I’ll ever put you down again.”
You let out a sarcastic “ha-ha.”
“If you never put me down again, I swear to the Valar you will be in serious trouble, I don’t care if you’re the King of Gondor.”
“Oh, c’mon, Y/N! You say you hate it when I pick you up, but your red face is telling me otherwise.”
“My face is red because you’re spinning me around, you moron!”
Aragorn laughed, finally setting you down. You straightened your gown and circlet, the train of the wedding gown having gotten slightly tangled by your new husband’s celebration.
And although you couldn’t wait to celebrate more with him in private, you still had a few more things left to do.
Aragorn walked back over to you, grabbing your hand and walking with you towards the balcony that overlooked the courtyard. Emerging into the sunlight, you saw thousands of people gathered below, all cheering for their king’s marriage. Smiling, you turned to face your husband, placing a palm on the side of his face. He leaned in, kissing you to the renewed cheers of the crowd below. You smiled into the kiss, making him laugh, the deep rumble vibrating against your lips.
You pulled away, turning to the crowd and holding up your entwined hands. As you smiled under the sunlight, hand in hand with your new husband, something fell onto your shoulder.
It was a petal.
Curious as to where it had come from, you looked up.
The White Tree of Gondor was in full bloom again.

Hi! Can i request 💛 for eomer with 12 from fluff list? If you don't have time don't worry.
Thank you and congrats♡
A.N: Hi! Thank you, love, I hope you like this!! Fluffy Éomer is really just the best.
Word Count: 198
Summary: You stole Éomer’s shirt a few weeks ago because you missed him.
Pairing: Éomer x Reader
Warning: Fluff
****
Sometimes You Just Need to Steal His Clothes {Éomer x Reader}
You sighed, sitting up and stretching at the sound of knocking coming from the door, blinking at the bright sunlight that filled the room. Swinging your legs around, you stood, making your way to the door. Opening it, you saw your betrothed, Éomer, on the other side. He opened his mouth to greet you, then paused, taking you in.
“Is that my shirt?”
You looked down at yourself. Then you blushed.
“Sorry. I think I grabbed it from your rooms a few weeks ago when you were away and never gave it back. Let me go change and you can have it.”
He grabbed your arm, halting you. “No, don’t. It looks good on you.”
You smiled. “So, what did you need me for today?”
“I was wondering if you’d like to go for a picnic?”
You gasped. “Oh, really? That would be wonderful!”
Éomer laughed. “I’m glad. Now, go get ready. We wouldn’t want to keep the horses waiting too long!”
Laughing, you leaned in to kiss him before turning back to your rooms, closing the door. As you made your way to your dresser, you heard Éomer yell from outside.
“And you can keep the shirt!”

Your blog is totally amazing! ❤ Please would you do 💛 46 from the fluff list with Thorin?
A.N: Getting so close to the end of the sleepover, so sad! But thank you anon, I hope you like this!! I needed some fluffy Thorin after all the angst I’ve put y’all and him through recently!
Word Count: 412
Pairing; Thorin x Reader
Warnings: Fluff

Delightfully Happy {Thorin x Reader}
You tore through the corridors, making your way through Erebor to the council chambers that your husband had summoned you to. The dwarf that had delivered his message, huffing and puffing, had said something about an emergency.
It was seven months after the reclamation of Erebor and you, shockingly, had married Thorin and become queen. It had been a hard time, getting the kingdom up and running again and dealing not only with negotiations surrounding the battle, but also plotting new trade routes and fostering relations with places that the dwarves had lost touch with over the years.
Thorin calling you to the council chambers about an emergency was anything but good, so you practically flew through the halls, feet not having moved this face since your desperate run up to Ravenhill when you thought he was dead.
Arriving at the rooms, you burst through the doors only to stop, blinking in shock at what was before you.
“Surprise!”
A whole bunch of dwarves cheered as your eyes took everything in. The whole company was there, Bilbo who had stayed in Erebor after the battle, your nephews Fili and Kili waving to you from where they skulked near a large cake, Bombur smiling at you as he continuously swatted their hands away. Even the new King Bard and his children were there, Sigrid next to Fili while Bain and Tilda stayed with their father.
And in the center of it all stood Thorin, beaming at you.
You walked towards him.
“I don’t know if I want to yell at you for making me run that fast, or kiss you for such a lovely surprise.”
He smirked at your words. “I’m going to go with the second option, please,” and he did, drawing you close for a kiss.
After a bit, you broke away, smiling.
“I didn’t think anyone would remember!” you exclaimed to the room.
Fili approached to hug you. “Oh, c’mon Y/N. You didn’t think we’d forget our auntie’s birthday!”
Dis approached next, hugging you and whispering, “actually, everyone had forgotten except me and Thorin. They’re a very caring lot, but rather forgetful.”
You giggled.
Thorin approached you, placing a hand on your waist and turning you back towards him.
“Happy birthday, my love,” he rumbled at you.
“Thank you! Now, I see cake. Let’s eat!”
You watched your nephews cheer and rush Bombur together, and laughed as you rested your head on your husband’s shoulder. You were delightfully happy.

💛 prompt 12 from the fluff list with Haldir?
Also, congrats for the 450 followers! You deserve it so much❣
A.N: Thank you so much! I’m so sorry it’s so short, I wanted it to be longer but I’m tired and liked how this was, although this is the closest thing to a real drabble I’ve ever done so maybe it’s ok? I liked the idea of this taking place before a battle, and I had fun with that, but I’ve never written Haldir before so I hope I did a good job!
****
Made for You
You tugged on your tunic, pulling it on before grabbing your armor. The elves of Lothlorien were preparing to ride to the aid of the people of Rohan at Helm’s Deep, and it would be your first real battle, Lothlorien having been at peace for centuries. Your husband, Haldir, helped you fix the chest plate into place, and you pulled on your arm guards before tucking daggers into your boots and strapping them to your thighs. You sheathed your sword as Haldir slung your quiver over your shoulder. He stepped back, looking at you.
“The armor suits you.”
You scoffed in derision, knowing that he did not want you joining him in this battle.
“No, meleth nin. Truly, it looks good on you.” He smiled softly.
“Does it really?”
“Yes. It looks right, like it was made for you and you for it.”
You smiled. “Thank you. I shall endeavor to make you proud, fighting by your side.”
“You will.” He grabbed your hand, your armor clanking against his as he entwined your fingers. He leaned in to kiss you, softly, before pulling away. You walked out the door together.

💛Prompt 28 off the fluff list please with Arwen x reader <3
Anything But a Dream {Arwen x Reader}
A.N: Thank you for the request this was honestly so much fun to work on and reminded me very much of the large crush I had on Arwen a few months ago! I need to write more for her, she’s a lovely character.
Pairing: Arwen x fem!Reader
Word Count: 347 (I actually managed to keep it short!!)
“To the King!!” You brandished your sword, gathering the attention of the men near you as you charged to Aragorn’s aid.
“Follow her! Help the king!” came a cry from behind you as the men heeded your words.
Batting back the spears thrust at you, you wove through the battle as the king attempted to hold his own against a troll. Reaching his side, you fought together, not knowing whether you would survive but that you had to just keep going. Spinning, you ducked a blow and slashed at the troll, distracting it as Aragorn finally killed it. Pausing to nod at him in thanks, you were confused by the look of shock on his face, realizing too late that something was looming behind you. You felt something crash into your helmet, and everything faded to black.
You blinked your eyes open, eyelids heavy with sleep as you took in the scene around you. You were in a small room, lying on a comfortable bed as sunlight streamed in through the windows. You groaned at the headache, worsened by the bright sun, and sat up.
Starting as someone entered the room, you blinked in disbelief as the person came into focus.
“Arwen? You’re here? Am I dreaming?”
She laughed at you, the melodious sound filling the room.
“No, meleth nin. I’m here.” She made her way across the room, pressing a soft kiss to your lips before sitting in the chair next to your bed.
“How are you feeling?” The look of concern on her face was so sincere that your heart melted for her all over again.
“I’m feeling well, although it would be better if you’d sit here with me for a while.”
She smiled again and grasped your hand. You pulled her in for another, deeper kiss, and lost yourselves in each other for a moment before she pulled away.
“My love, I have no intention of being anywhere but here with you.”
You grinned and settled back into your cushions as she read to you, happy that it was anything but a dream.

The Calm After the Storm
You walked through the markets of Erebor, swinging a basket by your side as dwarves parted for you, the rare human. You had lived in Erebor for several months after the Battle, before breaking up with Thorin and being invited to live in the Woodland Realm by King Thranduil himself.
Breaking up with Thorin had been the hardest thing you’d ever had to do. Your heart was torn in two, half wanting to stay with your love but the other half knowing that a human queen, likely to not outlive her husband, would not be right for the kingdom. On one of his diplomatic trips to the kingdom Thranduil had sensed your heartache at still being so close to Thorin, and offered you a place as one of his advisors. It was not a bad role, and you were quite good at it, proven not only by how you negotiated between Thranduil and Thorin after the Battle, but your continued maintenance of good relations between dwarves and elves. It was now almost a year later, and, hearing that there would be a diplomatic mission to Erebor you had volunteered. You needed to be with Thorin, the kingdom would be fine with a human queen. All that mattered was ceasing the constant ache in your chest that pulled you to Erebor.
Now, striding through the markets on your way to the council chambers, you ducked into a side-alley shortcut you remembered. Winding along, humming quietly, you turned a corner. And stopped.
“Thorin?”
He broke apart from the dwarven woman he was kissing, who whispered into his ear before sedately walking away.
“Y/N? What are you doing here?” Thorin looked flustered, adjusting his tunic and buttoning the top where it had come undone.
“I’m here for the negotiations, representing Thranduil- but what are you doing kissing people in corridors?”
He looked awkward. “I mean, we’re not together anymore. I’m allowed to kiss whomever I like.”
You stepped closer to him. “But we could be together again, Thorin! I was wrong before, and I miss you more than anything. I still love you!”
He looked even more awkward, scratching the back of his neck before clearing his throat. “We can’t, Y/N. I’ve moved on.”
You blinked. “You’ve moved on?”
He nodded. “I had to, for the kingdom.”
“You’re choosing them over- over me?” Your voice broke.
Thorin smiled softly, pityingly. “I am. And I’m happy.”
That made it so much worse. You turned, sprinting down the hall back into the big open markets, finding your way through the twists and turns by muscle memory alone as tears filled your eyes, running down your cheeks and splashing onto your shirt as you turned left, then right, then right again, taking the stairs two at a time until finally, finally you reached the relative sanctuary of your temporary room. You burst through the door, slamming it behind you and collapsing onto the floor, tossing the basket carelessly aside.
Crumpled on the ground, you let the sobs finally break free, wracking your body.
I’ve moved on.
His voice echoed through your head as you cried until there were no tears left to shed.
He didn’t deserve you, anyway.
You were too good for him.
He had moved on.
Resolve hardening like steel through your veins, you rose from the floor.
He had moved on.
And you were going to make him pay.

Hi! Congratulations! 💛 for aragorn with 17. from fluff? Thank you
A.N: This was incredibly fun! I did a modern AU cause I’m very much in that kind of mood right now, and I’ve been doing lots of movie nights recently. Thank you for participating in my sleepover, Anon, I hope you like this fic cause I certainly do!
Pairing: Modern AU Aragorn x Reader
Word Count: 532

Movie Nights
Sprinting, you took the stairs two at a time, racing your boyfriend to your apartment for movie night. You had been with Aragorn for several years, and movie night was a time-honored tradition.
After getting takeout pizza for dinner, you had walked to the nearby grocery store for your usual movie night snacks- Ben & Jerry’s Half Baked for you, and whatever new flavor had caught Aragorn’s eye that week (he was notoriously indecisive, and therefore on a quest to try every single Ben & Jerry’s flavor until he found his favorite). The customary toppings of sprinkles and M&Ms were also purchased, and once leaving the store you had both started running flat-out, determined to win the race and pick the movie.
You gasped in fake outrage as Aragorn shouldered past you, taking the lead with one flight of stairs left. Mustering your strength, you tried to run faster and overtake him, but it was no use. He was in the lead at the top of the stairs, rounding the corner and sprinting down the hallway to crash into your door, breathing heavily with his hands raised over his head in victory. He smirked as you jogged down the hallway to meet him, pressing a kiss to your lips as you unlocked the door.
“So, what movie are we watching tonight?” You asked as you set the bags down on the counter, grabbing the whipped cream and reheating the hot fudge.
He smirked. “I was thinking maybe Thor: Ragnarok?”
“Oh, c’mon! If I’d known you were going to pick one of the greatest movies ever I wouldn’t have wasted my energy racing you!”
He smiled. “Yeah. But I could have made you rewatch Frozen for the thirtieth time, and you weren’t willing to take that risk.”
You nodded at him, taking the fudge out and opening the ice cream cartons, grabbing two mugs from the high shelf and scooping some into each.
“What flavor are we trying this week?”
“Strawberry cheesecake.” He swiped his finger on the underside of the lid, tasting the flavor.
“It’s good!”
“I could have told you that. I love that flavor!”
He leaned in to kiss you. “And that makes it all the better!”
Grabbing your mug, you headed towards the living room.
“I’ll take the couch!”
Aragorn looked indignant. “Where am I supposed to sit? The floor?”
You nodded at him, grinning as you put your mug down on the coffee table, but then he swept you into his arms.
“Aragorn!” You shrieked. “Put me down!”
Laughing, he spun you around. “Only if we share the couch.”
“Fine.” You sighed in relief as he put you down, and sat on the couch, snuggling into the pillows and drawing a blanket around you. Aragorn sat next to you, pulling the blanket over his lap as well before wrapping his arm around your shoulders, drawing you close. Smiling at him, you grabbed the remote, hitting the play button and grinning as the Marvel theme started to play over the speakers. Sighing in happiness, you settled back into the couch, leaning your head on Aragorn’s shoulder and taking a bite of your ice cream.
Movie nights really were the best.

Bagginshield n* 39 from the angst list💛
A.N: AGHHH. THE PAIN. MY POOR HEART. I tried so hard to find a way to write this where it wasn’t a dream, but that would have taken way too long so this happened. Honestly, I really love this piece. But man does it get me right in the feels, angsty Bagginshield is my kryptonite. This is an issue cause I loooove angsty Bagginshield. Anyways I hope this is good! Thanks for requesting it!

Tears
“Thorin?”
Bilbo gazed at the figure before him, silhouetted in the doorway. Thorin looked different than the last time Bilbo had seen him. Strong, with a clear gaze that in those last few days Bilbo had longed to see, not the broken body he couldn’t erase from his mind.
The last time Bilbo had seen Thorin, he was pale, cold in death in a way he had never been in life. Bilbo had fallen to his knees, sobbing, and Dwalin had had to carry him back to his room, the warrior silently crying as well.
But now Thorin was here.
“Hello, Master Burglar,” the dwarf rumbled.
Hearing his voice again, the voice of the only person he had ever loved, the hobbit felt tears in his eyes. Squeezing them shut, Bilbo blocked out the sight of the concerned dwarf that he knew was not real but a product of his grieving imagination.
He felt Thorin’s hand on his cheek, wiping away the tears with his thumb.
“Bilbo, why do you cry?”
“Because I know when I open my eyes this will all turn out to be a dream and I’ll lose you again.”
“Oh, Bilbo. Amrâlimê. Look at me. Save your tears.”
Thorin tilted Bilbo’s head so that he could look into his eyes. Bilbo saw the depths of honesty and love there and knew that while the real Thorin did not walk the earth anymore, somehow he had joined him in this dream.
“I know it is very hard right now, but you must keep going. My death cannot be your stopping place, but the catalyst for the rest of your life. I know you will do great things, Bilbo Baggins.”
Bilbo collapsed, sobbing, into the arms of the dwarf. Thorin held him, pressing a kiss to his forehead.
“I love you, Thorin,” the hobbit managed to choke out.
“I love you, too, Bilbo.” The dwarf squeezed his hand, and then Bilbo woke up.
His room was cold and empty, deep in the mountain where Dwalin had carried him after Thorin’s funeral. Bilbo took a deep breath.
Thorin was gone. He was really, truly gone, the dream had made that abundantly clear. And Bilbo knew that tomorrow he would have to begin moving on. He would.
But right then, Bilbo needed to grieve. So he curled up on his bed, clutching the coat that had once belonged to Thorin, that still smelled like him. Bilbo lay there, and he let the tears fall.

💛 Prompts 37: “I could never get tired of you.” and 40: “I’m not your princess.” for Eowyn and a fem!reader
A.N: So my crush on Eowyn kinda came back full force while writing this... anyways It’s all the fluffiness!! Yay! Another joyfully fluffy thing that I got to write and have so much fun doing! What could be better? In all seriousness, I fricken loved writing this. Eowyn is just a truly awesome character. Thanks for the request, I hope you like this!
Word Count: 530
Pairing: Eowyn x Fem!Reader
Warnings: Fluff, unwanted advances that last about two words but are still there.

Silhouetted Against the Night Sky
You sat at a table, mug in hand while you talked with the remaining members of the Fellowship. All except injured Frodo, who had declined the invitation and departed Boromir were in the Minas Tirith pub. It was several weeks after Frodo and Sam had managed to destroy the ring, and now that everyone was back on their feet you and the hobbits had decided that a celebratory night was necessary.
So there you sat, accompanied by the future King of Gondor, whose coronation was in a month or so, the Prince of the Woodland Realm, a Lord of the Dwarves, the greatest wizard in Middle-Earth, three hobbits who were instrumental to saving said Middle-Earth, the new Steward of Gondor, and of course your girlfriend, the Princess of Rohan.
Speaking of her, you turned to see Eowyn standing at the bar, and rose to join her in waiting for her drink. As you approached, you saw a man sidle up to her and speak.
“Hey, princess.”
“I’m not your princess,” she responded, before you sidled up to the man, grinning.
“That’s right!” You threw an arm around her. “She’s my princess, thank you very much.”
You smirked at the man’s retreating back before turning back to Eowyn.
“How are you tonight?”
She smiled softly. “I’m well, although I must confess that I have been worried as of late.”
You tilted your head in concern, prompting her to continue.
She took a deep breath. “Well, I have not seen you much of late. I must admit I have grown scared that you were tired of me.”
Your eyes widened in surprise. “My love, I could never get tired of you. I am sorry for not spending more time with you. Let us go for a walk so that I can begin to make up for it.”
Smiling, she entwined her fingers with yours. Walking over to the table where everyone else sat, she spoke.
“Y/N said she was going to take me for a walk, so we’ll see you all later.”
Merry’s shout of, “Make good choices!” followed you as you walked out the door to the cool night air.
Hand in hand, you walked up to the courtyard, the many flights of stairs worth it for the view. When you got there, you strolled over to the point, gazing out over the city and surrounding landscape together.
You looked at her, taking in the beauty and peace that graced her face.
“Eowyn.”
She turned to you.
“You know how much I love you, right?”
She laughed. “I know. I love you too, Y/N.”
You smiled, leaning in to kiss her, hands falling to her waist as hers reached up to tangle themselves in your hair.
The night sky silhouetted the two of you like that, stars twinkling down at you as the moon lit you both with a silvery glow. Some say that many years later, the strength of your love was placed into the stars during that moment. The people of Minas Tirith say that if one goes up to the point at night, they can see you and Eowyn, silhouetted against the night sky for eternity.

Dresses
You spun around on the arm of your girlfriend’s father, dancing through the crowd to one of the tunes you knew so well. It was a feast-day in the kingdom of Dale, and your future father in law had asked you to dance, as Sigrid was running late.
Bard smiled down at you as you twirled, finishing the dance by dipping you as your skirts swirled around your feet. Applause broke out as the last note sounded, and you stepped off the dance floor, smiling. Your best friend Bain rushed up to you.
“Hey Y/N! Do you want to dance?”
You smiled at him. “Sure! Do you know when Sigrid will get here?”
Shaking his head, he led you back onto the floor. “I have no idea. She’s been tied up with the council all day, I think she only got out a little while ago.”
The music started, and you began dancing. “Ok.”
He smiled at you as you continued to dance. “Don’t worry, Y/N I’m sure she’ll show up soon. And she’ll adore that new dress, I know you’ve been waiting to wear it for her!”
You gaped at him. “How?”
He smirked. “I have my ways.”
“Bain…”
At the look you were shooting him, he relented. “It was pretty easy to tell. You’ve been visiting the tailor a lot for weeks, and you marched in here very excitedly today.”
You nodded. “Yeah, that’s fair.”
It was true that you were excited for your girlfriend to see the dress- it was her favorite color, a dark red that coincidentally made you look absolutely stunning, with full skirts and sprinkles of lace on the bodice. You loved it.
This dance ended as well, and Bain led you off the dance floor to where Tilda and Bard were sitting, feasting away. Bard smiled at you as you approached, and nodded to the doorway. Turning, you saw Sigrid, highlighted by the glow of the torches, resplendent in a blue dress that made her look perfect.
You pushed your way through the crowded floor, heading towards yoru girlfriend. She smiled at you as you hugged her. Pulling away, she held you at arms length, looking at your dress.
“Y/N, is that a new dress?”
You nodded.
“It looks good on you.” She stared at you, seemingly unable to speak, and you twirled to show her the full effect.
You beamed at her. “Thank you!”
You grabbed her hand, entwining your fingers with hers and trying to bring her up to the table with her family. She wouldn’t budge, and tugged your hand so that you spun around to face her again. Placing a hand on your waist, the other on your back, she drew you close.
“Darling, you look simply marvelous in that dress.” She whispered in your ear before pulling you in for a deep kiss, hand caressing your back as the other gripped your hip. You responded in kind, threading your hands around her neck in an attempt to bring her closer. After a few minutes, she broke away, flushed.
Entwining your hands again, you began to walk to the high table together. She leaned in to whisper in your ear as you walked.
“You’re the prettiest girl in the room, Y/N. I love you very much.”
You smiled at her. “I love you too, Sigrid.”
