Tilda: I'm Tilda, I'm Legolas' step sister. That's not my real name though, it's just a nickname.
Elrond: So what's Tilda short for?
Legolas: Her genetics, I guess.

So, thanks to the lovely @themerriweathermage, i can repost all of my chapters of in between!! Again, a huge, huge, thank you, love. i can’t tell you how happy i am about this.
Chapter one of In Between!
i’m super excited for this!! hope y’all like it!!
note: this first chapter will start out (and maybe end) in Legolas’ POV just for somewhat of his backstory. the rest will be told from your POV!!
The battle was over.
Burials for the dwarves had come and gone, and while Tauriel was grieving over Kili, Legolas was left with a broken heart over the she-elf in question. He just didn’t understand. Tauriel was supposed to be the one. At least he thought so.
Was there something wrong with him? His father would have told him so. He didn’t understand why it stung so harshly, but he supposed that was the risk you took when you fancied someone.
But, a broken heart didn’t really matter now, did it?
The truth was that Tauriel had all too quickly slipped out of Legolas’ grasp; and there was no getting her back. Like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode in his face, it had only been a matter of time before Tauriel slipped away from him. So, he traveled for months to meet a man by the name of Strider.
At first, Legolas had lost his sense of just about everything. He knew where he was going, but he didn’t want to find his way there. Everything he’d loved had slipped out of his grasp in a matter of weeks, and he had no power to stop it.
That’s what he hated: being unable to change things in his life. He was a prince, for Valar’s sake. Changing things to get what he wanted was quite literally what he was used to. He understood that he was privileged, although his father said he’d deserved every bit of what he got, unsurprisingly. Somehow, though, he felt he didn’t.
Just like he didn’t deserve Tauriel.
But, as his walked on with his thoughts tormenting him every waking second, he bumped into something- or someone, to be precise. While lost in his thoughts, Legolas’ feet had taken him to a small village -somewhere near Rivendell- he guessed, judging by the forests and whatnot.
It was a man. He’d bumped into another man. Upon realizing this, the elf froze, his senses coming back to him quicker than he’d lost them. He murmured an apology to the man, and the hooded figure nodded, quickly turning to go on his way.
Legolas realized he didn’t know where to go next, so he went to ask the man. “Do you know a ranger by the name of Strider?” He called, stopping the man in his stride. “Who’s asking?” He replied, low voice ringing in the almost eerie silence.
Legolas somewhat scoffed. “I am.” He stated, knowing full well what the man meant. He was angry and hurt, so a little sass or sarcasm could be expected from the elf. Who would blame him?
Apparently, you would.
Laying the pile of wood down, you readjusted the strap of your pack as your combat knives found their way into your hands. “Answer the question properly.” You spoke out, causing the elf to flinch. Cute. A fight prior to this meeting had put you in a bit of a sour mood, so any further irritation would only make things worse.
Legolas turned and faced you, eyes slightly narrowed, making it evident he wasn’t in a good mood either. “Legolas of th-“ He started, cutting himself off to correct himself. “Legolas Greenleaf.” He stated, turning to face Aragorn once more. “Now, answer my question.” He returned, raising a brow.
You shared a quick look with Aragorn, a questioning gaze evident on your features. “Strider.” He answered, and your expression phased into a calm one. You never really trusted people easily, and this elf would be no different, no matter how pleasant his face looked. Whenever Legolas heard this, however, he looked a bit embarrassed.
You smirked, leaning against the tree with a quiet hum. Aragorn grabbed both yours and the elf’s attention as he spoke up, removing his hood. “Why are you searching for me?” He asked, hand readily reaching for his blade. The bitter cold made this exchange far more intense than it should have been, but the elf showed no intentions of harming either of you.
The elf cleared his throat, searching for the answer to that question. “I merely wish to follow along whatever path you choose to take.” He said after seconds of silence, bringing down his ego as best he could. “Companionship, if you will.” He clarified, earning a distrustful, yet knowing exchange between you and Aragorn.
You walked over and pulled Aragorn aside, hoping to get out of ear’s reach from the elf. It took a while, but once you both were far enough from him, you whispered, “Are you going to let him follow us?” You asked, nodding in the elf’s direction.
The man huffed. “Perhaps. I cannot fully trust him yet, but I feel that it may be good to have him around.” He admitted, gazing at the leafless trees that surrounded you. You sighed, brows furrowed. “I don’t know if it is a good idea,” You replied, uncertainty and caution churning your insides. “but I trust your judgment.”
“We’ll have to take night watch, though.” You added, earning a chuckle from the man. “Let’s get a move on, then.” You sighed, trudging through the woods with Aragorn trailing behind you. A hopeful Legolas met your gaze, searching for any signs of confirmation. He didn’t get anything, though.
You simply grabbed your pack and firewood, tightened your tunic, and went on your way. Aragorn spoke up one final time, doing the same as you. “We do not stop until nightfall.” He stated, earning a swift nod from the elf.
Hours later, you all finally found a resting point in a cave and started a fire, gathered around it in attempts at gaining some warmth. Aragorn had gone to scout the surrounding area, leaving you shivering and alone with Legolas. As you huddled close to the fire, shaking due to the cold, Legolas stood, walking over to the pack he’d brought.
He pulled out a thick cloak, walking over to offer it to you. “Take it. You need it.” He quietly stated, draping the fabric over your shoulders. The warmth was almost instant, and you allowed a sigh of relief to escape your lips. “Thank you.” You smiled, to which the elf nodded.
Suddenly, your curiosity got the better of you. You peered at the elf from across the fire, staring into the sky blue eyes he possessed. “Where are you from?” You asked, trying to pass the time. “Mirkwood, as they call it now.” He answered reluctantly, though he seemed a bit more at ease now. “And you?” He returned, raising a brow as he met you e/c eyes.
You stared at the flickering flames in thought, pondering if you should give the elf an answer. It was only fair. “I don’t remember.” You quietly admitted, a solemn expression on your face. “My parents passed when I was young. I’ve been with Strider ever since. He’s like a brother to me.” You explained, earning an almost sympathetic look from the elf. What were you doing?
You stood before he could offer pitiful condolences and drew both of your knives. “Speaking of Strider, I am going to search for him. Excuse me.” You quickly blurted, gently folding the cloak and setting it down.
You rushed out, internally scolding yourself for such foolish behavior. You searched for Aragorn, wondering what possibly could’ve taken him so long. After a while, you came upon a slight clearing, the silence heavy over the bitter air.
Then, you heard it. Orc voices could be heard nearby, and you assumed Aragorn was with them. You cautiously padded through woods, making no noise as you passed. You counted twenty five orcs surrounding Aragorn, preparing yourself for battle.
Then, quicker than the wind, you dashed towards the orcs from behind and began slashing at them, taking out four within a minute. But, as fate would have it, you got caught in a fight between two particularly determined orcs. “Run!” You ordered, earning a scoff from Aragorn as he faced the majority of what was left of the group.
You took the two down, your worry for Aragorn outweighing your will to survive. Aragorn fought well, taking down the mindless creatures with a certain grace only Aragorn possessed. Just as you thought you were finished, you caught a glimpse of a blade held at Aragorn’s neck.
“Aragorn!” You shouted, cutting down whatever orcs stood in the way as you bolted for you best friend. Amidst the chaos, you were caught again as another group stole your attention. You fought hard, taking the orcs down with urgency. Luckily, however, an arrow was caught in the center of the orcs head before too much harm could be done.
You looked in the direction from where the arrow came and found Legolas standing there. You finished off the rest of the group with both of the boys’ help, panting slightly once it was over. Without hesitation you went to embrace Aragorn, quietly letting out a sigh of relief. “Please don’t do that again.”
The man returned the embrace, and you pulled him along back to the cave, grateful he was still alive.
You sat at the campfire once more, both of your companions sound asleep a little bit away from you. You watched the flame climb the air, relishing in the warmth it provided you. Then, you remembered the cloak Legolas had given you, and you picked up the soft fabric.
You wrapped it around your shoulders and sighed, making sure to keep an eye on the entrance to the cave. You made it a point to thank Legolas for saving Aragorn, unsure of what you would’ve done if things had turned for the worse.
At the end of the day, Aragorn was alive and well, and you had another companion to get to know. Legolas saved Aragorn’s life, and that was all that really mattered to you.
Maybe the elf wasn’t so bad after all.
ugh this SUCKED, but it’s done! i’ll probably edit it later, but i just wanted to post it.

They Cheer You Up (Lord of the Rings Preference)
Characters: Frodo, Sam, Legolas, Aragorn, Eomer, Pippin, Merry
Fandom: Lords of the Rings
Requested by anon: Hi, could I please request a preference with Frodo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee, Legolas Greenleaf, Aragorn, Eomer, Peregrin Took and Meriadoc Brandybuck cheering the reader up? Thank you!!
A/N: Sorry if it’s a bit short, today I’ve done so much writing that my brain is kind of fried, so I hope you still like and enjoy this anyway! 😅😋
Frodo would just speak his mind, and give you reasons he honestly believes could cheer you up. He also compliments you, quite earnestly, and remind you why you are great and why he holds you so very dearly and close to his heart. He might also take a walk around the forest with you, hoping a chat and a calm evening outside will lift your spirits.
With Sam, it comes naturally, so he has no problem in being optimistic and saying things to hopefully cheer you up. He reminds you of the good things in life, how beautiful the sun is as it shines high in the sky and how warm and comforting it is, or how lovely it is to see the little animals moving around in the grass, or how delicious food is and how there’s always something good and worth getting through your bad days for, and it warms your heart and makes you smile.
Legolas doesn’t really know what to do, so he just stays by your side and promises himself not to leave you until you’ve at least smiled once. You spend the day together, chatting and walking and it seems to distract you enough that your mood improves, and Legolas’ stories of elves also help quite a lot ot keep your mind busy.
Aragorn is incredibly intuitive, especially when it comes to you since he knows you so well. He’s also very empathetic and soon realizes why you need cheering up. For that reason, he knows exactly what to say to make you feel better and what to do to comfort you and he’s happy to provide you with affection and words of comfort.
Eomer mostly gives you courage. You feel defeated and alone, so he reminds you that it’s not the case. At first you don’t listen, knowing that he cares too much about you to be objective, but then his words start sinking in. He says that you’re strong and brave and that not only you can live through that bad day and many others that may haunt you, but that he will also be ever at your side so you don’t have to suffer through them alone.
Pippin is kind, emotional, sensitive and very empathetic. He makes you feel understood, he comforts, makes you feel like you’re not alone, like he can understand what you’re feeling and that it’s perfectly okay to feel that way. He doesn’t have a problem showing his emotions, and less so you talking about them, so he will listen to you if you want to talk and maybe even sing you a beautiful song to cheer you up.
Merry would goof around. He’s not quite as emotional as Pippin, even if he too can be sensitive, so he prefers to make you laugh instead. Of course, if you want to talk he will intently listen, but he knows his jokes and playfulness will most effectively cheer you up and he keeps saying silly things and tickling you to get you to smile or laugh at him.

Legolas Greenleaf Imagine - Abducted
Ever since I reblogged this post from @harleysarchive I've wanted post my own version of the imagine above!!!
This one was also requested by anon!!!
Yes please write something like that!
I was thinking of the Legolas one, but I would also like a part 2 to that Bakugo one. So why not both? Lol
A/N - I personally think that this imagine isn't the best, but that's probably because I haven't really written anything like this for Lord of The Rings before... (I have written some stuff for Lord of The Rings but not like this!) I would really love to hear what you guys think of it! All feedback is encouraged considering how this the first imagine that I've done in a very long time!
Also, Anon that had requested for me to do this imagine even though I was going to write it anyway, please enjoy and give me your opinion on it after you read it!!!
Enough rambling! Let's get on with the story!!!
Hope you guys enjoy!!!
(The 2 pictures above are what your outfit and sword look like for this imagine!!! Both pictures are not mine!!! I found both of them on Pinterest!!! You can also change anything you want about the outfit and/or sword if you want to change something about them!)
"Frodo?! Boromir?!" You shout out into the distance as you walk through the forest, along with your long-time friend Aragorn. "Where are they?" You ask as the 2 of you stop to look over a cliff. "I do not know..." Aragorn answers. "but we will find them (Y/N), do not worry." "I hope you're right..." you mutter, hoping that Frodo is alright and nothing bad has happened to him.
After searching for a little while longer, you and Aragorn come across a ruin and find Frodo sitting on the ground next to it. You and Aragorn slowly approach him. "Frodo?" he asks as he gets closer to him. Frodo jumps in surprise as he turns to face you and Aragorn. His eyes are wide with terror, but he soon realizes that it's just and Aragorn and not someone else. Frodo's green eyes go from you to Aragorn and then back before he speaks. "It's taken Boromir." "Where is the ring?" Aragorn asks as he steps closer to him. "Stay away!" Frodo shouts as he scrambles to his feet, running from both you and Aragorn.
"Frodo!" you and Aragorn call after him as he runs around a column of the ruin. "...I swore to protect you." Aragorn says to him calmly. "As did I." you agree. Frodo's eyes go from Aragorn to you and you see how frightened he is. 'Something must have happened with Boromir.' you think. You open your mouth to ask him about what had happened between him and Boromir, but he returns his gaze back to Aragorn. "Can you protect me from yourself?" he asks as he uncurls his fist, revealing the ring. You stare at the ring as it glints, gold and beautiful in the afternoon sun. "Would you destroy it?" Frodo continues. You look from Frodo to Aragorn to see that his eyes are glued to it. Aragorn slowly walks up to Frodo, his hand moving to hover over the ring, as if he's about to grab it from Frodo. "Aragorn," you say gently, trying to get through to him before he can do anything.
Aragorn seems to be taken out of his trance before he kneels in front of Frodo, closing his small hand around the ring. "I would have gone with you to the end... into the very fires of Mordor." Aragorn whispers to him. "We both would have." you state, causing Frodo to look up at you, his green eyes brimming with tears. "I know." he agrees softly. "Look after the others, especially Sam... he will not understand." he says to both you and Aragorn. You're about to agree that you and Aragorn will definitely look after Sam and the others when Aragorn gets up to his feet, drawing his sword. Frodo looks up at Aragorn in confusion for a second before drawing his own sword that's currently glowing brightly. 'Orcs...' You think, drawing your own sword as well. "Go, Frodo!" Aragorn tells him urgently. "(Y/N), go with him all the way down to the river, make sure that he gets out of here safely." he tells you. You and Frodo hesitate, not wanting to leave him on his own. "Run. Run!" he yells at you and Frodo. "Come Frodo." you tell the hobbit urgently as you start running down the hill towards the river.
You and Frodo scramble down the hillside away from the fight. You hear the calls of some Orcs following after you. You scramble behind a tree with Frodo right behind you. You press your back against the tree, hoping and praying that you and Frodo don't get seen by any of the Orcs that are currently running past you and Frodo. Luckily, they don't see either of you, and they keep on running down the hill. "Frodo! (Y/N)!" you hear from your left. You and Frodo both turn to see both Merry and Pippin hiding in a hollow, a few feet away. "Hide here, quick!" Merry continues in the same urgent tone. "Come on!" Pippin urges.
You know that Frodo is looking at the 2 of them with great sadness as he slowly shakes his head at them. "What's he doing?" I hear Pippin ask Merry. From your position next to Frodo, you can see the understanding Merry's eyes. "He's leaving." he replies softly. "No!" Pippin shouts as he stands, coming out into the open towards you and Frodo. Merry grabs at his arm, trying to stop him. "Pippin!" he shouts as Pippin breaks out of his grip. A cry of an Orc rings out on the top of the hill. The've been seen!
'Damn!' you think as you see multiple Orcs running down the hill towards the 2 small hobbits. You come out into the open as well, causing the 3 hobbits to look at you in surprise as you draw your sword (in which you had sheathed again as you were making your way down the hill with Frodo). "Run Frodo." you urge, staring up the hill at the multiple Uruk-Hai charging down the hill towards you. You turn to Frodo, knowing that he hasn't left you. "Go! We'll give you as much time as I can!" you tell him as you gesture over to Merry and Pippin.
Merry takes the hint and starts to gain the orcs' attention. "Hey, hey you! Over here!" he shouts, waving his arms out. "Hey!" Pippin yells.
The orcs coming running towards the 3 of you. "Go!" you urge Frodo one last time before running off with Merry and Pippin, leading the Orcs away from Frodo.
"It's working!" Pippin shouts.
"I know it's working! Run!" Merry replies as the 3 of you continue running.
You, Merry and Pippin have been running for about 10 minutes now and you've come to a small clearing where more Orcs approach the 3 of you from in front of you.
You draw your sword again, ready for a fight, ready to protect Merry and Pippin with your life if you need too. Even with so many orcs surrounding you, you are determined to protect them no matter what. "Stay behind me." you urge the 2 of them as the orcs get closer and closer to the 3 of you.
You get ready to strike when Boromir suddenly appears from behind you, blocking a strike from one of the orcs. "Boromir!" Merry and Pippin shout as you and Boromir fight off the many orcs and Uruk-Hai attacking us.
After about 10 minutes of fighting off orcs and Uruk-Hai, you and Boromir are overwhelmed with how many there are coming after you. "We're outnumbered!" you shout as you continue striking the Orcs and Uruk-Hai. "We need help!" "I'm on it!" Boromir shouts. A few seconds later, you hear the sound of the horn of Gondor, knowing that Boromir is blowing it to hopefully have Aragorn and the others come to your aid.
You're praying that Legolas and the others can hear the horn. Hopefully, they will get to you and Boromir in time, before anything can happen to Merry and/or Pippin. You pray to the gods that Legolas will show up. Out of everyone in the fellowship (other than Aragorn), you are the closest with him. You could even say that you've literally fallen for the elven prince.
You and Boromir lead Merry and Pippin away from the oncoming orcs and Uruk-Hai. As you fight off any that get too close, Boromir continues to blow the horn, so that the others know where you are.
You grunt as you stab yet another orc with your sword. "Run! Run!" you hear Boromir shout, causing you to look up to see 100's of orcs coming after you. You don't hesitate to run after him and the hobbits, not wanting to stick around too long with that many orcs and Uruk-Hai coming after you.
The 4 of you continue on running until you get cornered. You all continue fighting though, even Merry and Pippin fight back by throwing rocks at the orcs that are coming after you while you and Boromir use your swords to strike down any that come to close. Your eyes scan the battle for any sign of Legolas and the others but there's no sign of them. The only thing that you do see is a giant Uruk-Hai aiming his bow and arrow at Boromir who is currently fighting a few orcs.
You're about to warn him about the arrow but before you can, the arrow is released and it hits Boromir in the chest. "No, Boromir!" you scream as he falls down to his knees.
You're about charge at and kill the Uruk-Hai that had shot him, but to your surprise Boromir continues fighting. You strike down an orc that charges at you before you see the Uruk-Hai aim yet another arrow at Boromir. "NO!" you scream out as the arrow hits its' mark, causing Boromir to stumble back. You grit your teeth in utter anger as you strike down any orc that comes in your way between you and the Uruk that shot Boromir.
Once again, you see Boromir continue to fight against the orcs that come after him and the 2 hobbits. You just have to kill the Uruk before he can shoot him again. You just have too.
You're just about to reach the Uruk when an Orc literally scoops you up and over its' shoulder, knocking your sword out of your hand. "Let go of me!" you shout as you kick and punch the orc in the back and stomach. You stop kicking and punching the orc that had taken you hostage when a third and final arrow hits Boromir in the stomach. "Boromir! NO!" you scream, tears running down your face as he falls to his knees again, not getting up to fight again.
At the sight of Boromir, you see Merry and Pippin let out battle cries before charging at the army of orcs. Seems like their efforts are futile because both of them are scooped off of their feet by Uruk-Hai.
You scream for Boromir as the orc that had taken you hostage runs past him. "BOROMIR!" You scream as you see the Uruk-Hai that had shot him standing before him, another arrow loaded in his bow. "NO!" you scream as the Uruk begins to draw back the arrow, ready to finish Boromir off, once and for all.
"(Y/N)!" you hear the all so familiar voice of Legolas shout. You whip your head in that direction to see Legolas and Gimli running as fast as they can over the hill, killing orcs as they go. "Legolas!" you shout back as you try and to get out of the orcs' grip once again. "NO!” Legolas screams as he continues to kill orcs, trying to get to you. “NO, (Y/N), NO!” he continues before he and Gimli are overwhelmed with orcs keeping the 2 of them at bay as the rest of the army of orcs, along with you, Merry and Pippin escape.
"LEGOLAS!" you scream one final time before you can't see him or any of the others anymore.
