This little purse took forever to make BUT worth it cause now I have a cute lil bag to take Bucky and his baby Goose everywhere I go, look at how snugly he is in there.
I need to really write something about Bucky being tasked to watch over Goose with 0 context, just thinking he’s a cute orange kitty.
And then the chaos. All the chaos. But Goose LOVES Bucky and is basically obsessed with him and sleeps in his hoodie and nowhere else.

Okay so I don’t have the fluffy blanket fabric in red for a dragon, but I do have a fluffy red blanket I can use? It’s not quiiiiite as fluffy, but it’s still pretty darn fluffy, and a nice deep red kind of color, and I really want to make baby Smaug So I’m thinking I might make baby Smaug (aka a red and gold dragon) next, but before I get started on it I’ll cut out the fabric for another Bucky Bear so I’m one step closer to finishing another auction fill item

Masterlist
For all her eighteen years on Earth, Blair had been a good witch. Never crossing the line between light and dark, never taking too much and giving nothing in return.
She had reminded herself of that when she was stood up last month on a date with one of the football players, leaving her mortified and faced with the snickers of her classmates the following Monday. It would have been nice to have been in on the joke.
She reminded herself of that when she lit the candles and spoke the words, the flame flickering and her long dark hair blowing as she swore she'd make one of those assholes feel the same stupid crush she felt. That sickly sweet obsession that makes your knees weak and your brain fuzzy.
And now, Blair was repeating it over and over in her head as she entered school, pulling down her uniform skirt and feeling the eyes of everyone on her. She turned up the volume on her headphones until Kurt Cobain's voice drowned out the whispers. It's like they knew she cast a spell on their fucking precious star quarterback. How else would the school weirdo get a guy like Brock Rumlow to almost literally fall at her feet?
Eyes down, concentrating on the way her boots hit the crappy flooring with each step, Blair should have expected the sneakers that suddenly appeared before her as she reached her locker.
Blair giggled to herself. If the spell had worked she would see Brock, the school's quarterback, standing before her groveling. Instead it was Bucky Barnes, in his football jacket, tight white t-shirt and snug blue jeans. She swallowed tightly.  His hair was just long enough to curl behind his ears and a pesky strand was hanging loosely against his forehead as he stared at her with his bright blue eyes.
"Hey," Bucky said, his voice husky as he watched her and shifted his backpack on his shoulder.
Shit, something had gone very wrong.
She had lived next to Bucky for her entire life, they had spent nearly every day together before they started high school and he grew into his body, the body that was made for football. She sighed as she looked him up and down.
His body.
When she was casting the spell the night before she had let herself indulge in the sight of Bucky changing in front of his bedroom window. She had always had a front row seat. It had just been a second. His piercing blue eyes must have been the last thing on her mind while casting. Fuck.
Her mind had betrayed her. Big time.
"Uh, hey Barnes.." She breathed a quick, awkward laugh.
He reached forward and swept her hair off her shoulder, allowing his finger tips to brush against the skin of her neck.
"God you look beautiful today.. I just want to shout it down the hallways," he grinned at her, his hand still lingering on her arm.
"Maybe let's not do that…" She smiled, raising her eyebrow at him.
Maybe this could be fun, she thought to herself.
Glancing past his shoulder she spied queen Bitch Sharon and her two flunkies, Karli and Maria, strutting down the hall towards them.
“Those books aren’t gonna carry themselves, Barnes," Blair said loudly, throwing a smug smile in the girls’ direction.
“Of course! Let me get those for you darlin’.”
A wide smile spread across Bucky's lips as he adjusted the strap of his backpack over his shoulder, taking the books from her. She could feel the butterflies in her stomach already watching the Bucky Barnes she used to know slowly appear in that grin.
Once in the classroom she took her seat and raised a brow at him who stood beside it, looking into her eyes expectantly.
"You can sit, Bucky." she stated, biting back a smile.
He gave her a shy smile, eyes lingering on her face for a second and a blush graced his cheeks before he turned to the guy sitting behind her.
"Find another seat, Ryan. This is mine now." Blair heard Bucky say, dumping his backpack on the desk to make his point clear as Ryan grumbled and got out of his seat so Bucky could sit right behind her.
Can't take the jock out of him, apparently, Blair snickered to herself as she turned to give him a wink.
She felt Bucky's eyes on her as class started and Sharon, Karlie, and Maria filed in. The teacher ordered everyone to get their books out. Blair's heart was pounding while Sharon and her little bitch squad were giggling at the sight of Bucky following Blair around like a puppy dog. Sharon leaned over, beckoning to him with one hand.
"Come here! Why are you sitting with the freak? Come here!" She hissed.
Bucky stammered and slowly rose from his chair.
"Bucky, stay," Blair ordered firmly as she shot Sharon a death glare as Sharon sneered at her.
Blair turned around to Bucky, smiling sweetly at him. "Chapter four, remember?"
He blushed and chuckled, nodding his head quickly.
"Right. Thanks, Blair."
She gave him a soft smile and class continued like it normally would, except for the daggers that were shot towards her from the girls. She tried her best to ignore them and actually read the page when she felt warmth against her hand.
“Everything alright?”
Bucky's hand laid gently atop of hers, thumb grazing her skin as butterflies erupted in her belly.
Blair turned slightly in her seat so that Sharon was in her eye line. The Diet Coke the blonde had been sipping on suddenly exploded, drenching the three of them as they squealed.
"Just fine, Buck," she replied sweetly before turning back to her book.
The morning went by quickly, despite the fact that Blair was finding it increasingly harder to concentrate the more Bucky’s gaze burned into her, always in the seat behind, always smiling shyly whenever she turned around.
As they filtered out of their American History class before lunch, Bucky swooped in with an arm over her shoulder, both their books bundled in his free arm and a blush on his cheeks as he fumbled over his words.
“So…can I take you out for lunch? Off campus?”
"Off campus? Don't you have jock things to do?" She giggled, her focus on a group of huddle girls desperately trying to brush through the sticky knots the Diet Coke had caused in Sharon's hair.
Bucky's grip tightened and he spun her, demanding her attention, he gently pushed her up against a locker.
"And what type of things do you think us jocks.." he looked down at her lips a moment too long causing her cheeks to flush red. "..do?" he said in a hushed tone, not taking his eyes off her parted lips.
Her skin heated all over and her breathing hitched as she watched him lick his bottom lip in a mischievous manner.
"I don't know. You tell me," she whispered breathlessly.
His blue eyes locked with hers, as his head tilted to the side. There it was, that signature Bucky smirk that always made her knees buckle, not that Blair would ever admit that to him.
"Whatever it is, it doesn't matter now. I just want to spend time with you..." He spoke, leaning in close to brush his nose against hers.
Suddenly, John clapped his hand against Bucky's back, pulling the two of them from their trance as Bucky spun around.
"Let's go Barnes, we got practice!"
Huffing out a sigh, he rolled his eyes and turned back to Blair.
"No I don't. I have better things to do.."
“It’s fine Bucky, you can go to practice. I don’t mind,” Blair smiled sweetly, patting his cheek.
“Dude, like you need permission now?” John scoffed.
“Fuck off,” Bucky grumbled, but followed his friend away down the hall as Blair shooed him away, almost tripping over his own feet as he craned his neck to get in one last look at her.
She couldn't believe the spell had worked, conveniently ignoring the fact that it wasn't meant for him. This was her chance to get the boy next door back. The boy who used to send her songs he thought would make her smile and books that had the surprise twist endings that she loved. Blair missed those moments she had with him but Bucky was good at football, really good at it and he found his place much easier when they graduated to high school, her not so much.
Blair grabbed her lunch from her locker, the paper bag crinkling in the most satisfying way. It was so much easier to focus on the little things that brought her happiness. The sound of crunching leaves, her favorite Alice in Chains album. She smiled to herself as an idea sparked in her mind- go eat lunch while the team practices. See if her new puppy likes to beg.
People continued to stare and whisper as she made her way to the football field. The energy was palpable, and Blair was loving every second of it. She felt in control for the first time in a  long time. Turning the corner to the field, the autumn breeze picked up- almost as if it was pushing her towards the field. Towards Bucky.
Her boots clicked against each step on the metal bleachers as she made her way to the very top. Blair heard laughter, heard the pads and helmets crunching together on the field. She sat and opened her lunch bag, her uniform skirt protecting the back of her thighs from the cool metal. Her eyes searched the field for Bucky.
Once her eyes landed on the number 17 on the back of his practice jersey as they ran a play, Bucky turned his head to the right and found her eyes with a smile. It was as if he was drawn immediately to her energy just by being in the same vicinity.
Blair returned his smile and wiggled her fingers at him in a silent "hi". As Bucky waved back to her mid run, her eyes widened as he collided against Steve's chest.
Whispering an incantation under her breath, Blair focused on Bucky and Steve to know what they're saying.
"Watch it, man!" Steve exclaimed as he fell to the ground with Bucky stumbling over him.
"What's with you today?" He asked as Bucky mumbled a quick sorry and pulled him up.
Bucky's eyes returned to Blair, making her lower her eyes to her sandwich quickly before Steve caught her.
"Seriously, dude! You're all over the place today!" She heard Steve scold him. "Don't tell me you're into her."
"I'm fine," Bucky grumbled. "Let's just go again."
They repeated the same play as Blair quietly ate her sandwich. Bucky's head wasn't in the game, but he managed to catch the ball and started sprinting. As he ran, he looked up at her with a cocky smile on his face. She blushed and bit her lip as Bucky's eyes lit up.
He didn't see the pole right in front of him until it was too late and he collided with it like a fucking Loony Tunes cartoon. He dropped the ball and stumbled backward before falling on his ass.
Blair flinched and leapt out of her seat, her sandwich flying somewhere underneath the bleachers. John howled with laughter while Steve put his head in his hands.
Blair stopped by the fence and peeked through the holes to get a glimpse of his condition, the sound of helmet meeting metal still rang in her head and it made her gnaw anxiously on her lip.
Steve gave him a helping hand, and like he didn’t care about the world around, he looked eyes and walked straight to her as he took off his helmet.
“You dumb, adorable boy…” Blair whispered to herself when she saw the big bruises on the sides of his face.
Bucky fixed her with that big love drunk smile that seems permanently etched on his face these days.
"Looks like it hurts," she murmured as his fingers tangled with hers on the fence.
Blair ignored Steve over Bucky's shoulder, thr blonde's hands slapping down at his sides with a groan. Leaning forward, she pulled Bucky's face gently towards her, pressing a kiss to his bruised cheek. The purple and red marked skin faded slightly as he hummed in contentment.
"You're like fucking magic, baby," Bucky whispered. Her eyes widened a little and her heart nearly stopped.
"Barnes!" Coach Fury yelled. "Get your ass back on the field!"
Bucky rolled his eyes, winking at Blair as if to say ”watch this”.
“A little busy, coach! I think I might’ve sprained my ankle goin’ down and my girl here needs to give me more of her special treatment,” he insisted and Blair giggled considering he had walked over to her just fine.
Coach Fury now stood with his hands on his hips, glaring at Bucky incredulously. Blair watched on as Bucky started to limp like an injured animal across the field.
"I don't have the patience to deal with your bullshit today Barnes, get the hell off my field. In your absence the rest of the team can run sprints in honor of your sore ankle." Coach barked.
The team hollered in protest but the whistle of Coach cut their cries short. Bucky turned back to give her a cheeky smile, his hair messy and falling in his face before he disappeared toward the lockers. Blair wandered around and found a place to sit under one of the large oak trees that had started to turn yellow and orange. Her boots swung over the bench, grazing the ground beneath her as she dug in her bag for an apple.
She found her fruit, tossing it in the air and catching as a satisfied grin formed on her dark red lips. Taking a deep breath she looked up through the tree, and as the branches moved in the breeze, the sun beam caught her amber eyes, making them glisten. This turned out to be a pretty good day after all.
"I think you get more beautiful each time I see you today," A gruff voice came from beside her.
Blair turned her head to see Bucky walking towards her, perfectly fine. The bruise on his face was almost completely invisible now. He dropped to the ground beside her, draping his arm across her shoulders, and she couldn’t help but lean into him.
“Are you okay?” She asked, looking up at him.
Bucky shuffled slightly, turning into her.
“I guess so,” he replied, his mouth turning up at the corner. “But I know what’ll make it feel even better.”
Blair’s breath caught in her throat as he hooked his finger under her chin, tilting her face up as he brought his lips to hers.
She could feel her entire body melt into him, the butterflies in her stomach were completely out of control at this point and every feeling she had for him was bubbling in her throat. Bucky hummed softly against her lips before pulling away with a devilish smile across his face and a glint in his eyes. He was looking at her like she was the girl in the world and as much as she wanted to lean in and kiss him again, over and over, guilt started to wash over her.
"Bucky..." Blair whispered, but before she could say anything else his lips met hers again.
Warmth began to pool in her belly- it was a strange mix of guilt and desire. Their lips moved in harmony as his tongue ran along her bottom lip, asking for permission to enter. Blair opened her mouth wider and Bucky’s tongue slipped past hers. Fireworks started going off in her mind as a soft whine fell from her mouth.
“I still want to take you off campus,” Bucky said, each word punctuated with a nip of his teeth against her lips. He was looking at her like she hung the moon and the stars. And honestly, Blair was feeling like maybe she did.
“But I’m hungry for something other than lunch,” he growled.
Blair was struggling to keep her focus when he was this close and…distracting.
She nudged him off her, taking a deep breath as Bucky looked at her expectantly, his blue eyes glittering and begging her, reminding her of a puppy dog.
"I need…I need to go home," Blair scrambled off the ground, gathering her stuff and running off. Leaving him sitting there stunned.
She needed to think, to look through her books and learn how to take this botched spell off him.
"Blair!" Bucky shouted, running after her. His eyes were wide and full of panic. She felt a hand on her shoulder spin her back around. He smiled and pushed his hair out of his face.
"What do you mean you need to go home? I thought we were hanging out."
Blair felt an intense pang of guilt. This wasn't supposed to happen, and in her heart of hearts, she knew that he didn't really like her-- not like this.
It was just magic, and it would wear off eventually. Right?
Blair did a love spell knowing the consequences, and knowing what the woman at the magic shop told her when she was buying the supplies for it.
Blair asked her what would happen if it went awry. How could she undo a love spell? The woman told her, "When you open a floodgate, how do you undo it? If you unleash something with a spell, there is no undoing. It must run its course."
Blair went ahead and did this anyway. Her stomach was in knots as she stared at Bucky who looked intense and terrified.
"I can't be late for dinner, Bucky. I'm-- I'm sorry. I'll see you tomorrow."
She took off running in the other direction toward her house, praying that he didn't follow her.
Hundred thoughts on how she could get out of it all consumed her mind as she headed to her home, now and then looking back to make sure Bucky still didn’t follow her.
She reached her house and walked up the stairs and into her room, plopping down onto her back to the bed. Blair just stared up to the ceiling and closed her eyes while releasing a heavy sigh, silence was her best friend at the moment.
Bucky didn’t deserve the mess she’d put him into, he didn’t deserve her what all she thought. What did she even think, making a fake love scenario of her dreams. Bucky was only pure kindness. The  sweetest and caring guy and she felt nothing like that at the moment. Bucky meant so much to her. He'd always been there for her through the years they grew up together. He was the pure definition of a good friend while it only felt like she turned against him.
Poor guy didn’t even know what was going on, thinking he was in love with her for real.
You better fix this.
She needed a solution and fast. Over the course of the day it had gotten stronger, Blair had to put an end to the spell before Bucky's puppy dog crush morphed into a dangerous situation. She jumped off her bed, flipped on Soundgarden and started to pull out all the books that might be able to help her reverse what she had down.
A loud crash of thunder boomed outside her bedroom window making her jump.
"It's just a storm," she said out loud with her hand over her racing heart.
She wandered toward the two French doors that led to her balcony and made sure they were locked as she stared through the sheet of sudden rain toward Bucky's bedroom window.
"I'm sorry," she mumbled to herself. "I just didn't wanna feel alone anymore."
Blair let out a deep breath, and turned her attention back to the books she had pulled off her shelf. There had to be a solution in there somewhere. She wiped a small tear that had escaped onto her cheek, and started flipping through the first book, but came up empty handed. Tossing it to the side, she picked up the next one and kept reading.
Another thunder crash on queue made Blair close her eyes for a moment, to re-centre herself, but the loud knock on the glass made her jump even higher.
Outside stood a soaking wet Bucky, in his white t-shirt and his hair that had fallen around his face.
"Blair, please let me in! I can't be without you!" He pleaded.
No, no, no, no...it's not supposed to be like this.
She pleaded, squeezing her eyes closed as her fingers gripped the edges of the book.
"Go home Bucky!" Blair said, her voice cracking as she tried everything to ignore the boy banging on her window.
"I don't want to, Blair! I want to be with you! Please!" He tapped on the window again, pressing his forehead to the wet glass.
She sank down to the ground, feeling the soft carpet underneath her.
Focus, focus, she thought, shutting her eyes tight. You need to fix this.
She could feel his eyes burning into her as she struggled to catch her breath. The rain continued to pound against the window and she tried counting backwards from ten, hoping to calm herself down.
Then, clear as day, Blair heard Bucky’s raspy voice begin to sing.
And I’d give up forever to touch you
‘cause I know that you feel me somehow
Her eyes welled with tears at the insurmountable guilt within her as this sweet, lovesick boy continued to sing one of her favorite songs.
You’re the closest to heaven that I’ll ever be
And I don’t want to go home right now
Blair let out a shuddering breath as she brought herself to her feet. As tears streamed down her face she dragged her feet to the window. She placed her palm against where Bucky’s laid at the other side of the glass and pressed her forehead atop his against it.
“Bucky please, I’m so sorry. I swear I’m going to make this better but I- I need you to go home please.” she sobbed.
Bucky stopped singing, the only sound filling her ears was the rain, thunder claps, and her own heart trying to beat its way out of her chest.
Bucky's eyes were flitting between hers, they seemed cloudy as the spell dug its claws deepers into him. It didn't look like he understood her, when he knocked on the glass again.
"Please, Blair! Please let me in!"
She felt her heart clench painfully as he shouted over the heavy rain, his face strained and splotched red.nHer hand lowered to the handle as more tears slid down her cheeks.
How do I make this better? Blair thought desperately.
She shook her head.
"Bucky, I can't. I--"
I feel so guilty, she thought. It's what she wanted to say, but she couldn't. Even if she tried to explain this to him, he wouldn't understand.
His desperation quickly turned to anger, and he pounded on the window. Blair jumped backward, her hands shaking.
"Let me in, Blair!" He snarled. When he saw how badly she was trembling, his mood changed again. On a dime. His eyes filled with sweetness. He bit his bottom lip and whined. "Please, sugar?"
The nickname made her heart beat faster, heart arching a bit as she blinked to let more tears stream down her cheeks. It felt like something dragged her back and forth. Her hand grazed the handle gently, could she? Should she listen to her heart that begged to not be lonely anymore, or her mind that just wanted to do the right thing.
She knew who would come inside, not the real Bucky she knew, partly at least, something that was made up from her that wasn’t real except from his physical form.
His next word made her grip the handle tighter, heart shattering into a thousand pieces.
“I love you Blair.”
He whispered but clear enough for her to hear, his eyes filled with tears and he breathed heavily. He just wanted love, and couldn't stand to be ignored from the love of his life.
With a shuddering breath, she looked deep into his glistening eyes, feeling like she kicked someone that was already laying down. She broke.
“That’s not true love Bucky, I’m sorry.”
Blair turned her frazzled attention back to the book open on the floor below her flipping the pages furiously. Looking for an answer.
“It is,” he pounded his fist against the pane glass over and over “it is true!”
She heard the glass shatter as she was flipping the last page.
“Shit.” Blair whispered as she looked up, his hand dripping with blood from the shattered glass and saw him grip the handle.
“This is it!” She screamed looking at the spell before her. She gathered the book in her arms and took off out of her room into the massive dark empty house.
Breathing heavy, Blair ran down the stairs, her body on high alert. Her heart pounded in her throat as she heard the heavy footsteps of Bucky in the hallway. She couldn't even dare to look back now.
When she reached her kitchen, she dug through the junk drawer as fast as she could. She knew her mom had twine in there somewhere. Her eyes flitted to doorways leading in, as she searched, hoping to find it before Bucky found her.
“Blair, baby, come on! Don’t do this!” Bucky’s voice echoed through the empty house.
“I’m sorry…I’m so sorry Bucky,” She whispered, mostly to herself. “AH HA! Gotcha!”
She pulled the twine out from the drawer, along with one of their emergency candles.
She lit the candle and placed it beside her book, still listening to Bucky’s footsteps as he searched the house. Blair wrapped the twine around her hand and spoke the incantation as Bucky appeared in the kitchen doorway.
“Sweetheart, I love you. Please…I can help with whatever you are doing…Just don’t push me away.”
Blair closed her eyes and concentrated on her words. She opened them just in time to lock eyes with Bucky as she brought the scissors to the twine.
“I’m so sorry Bucky,” She sobbed, as she finally cut the string.
The instant the twine fell apart, Bucky stopped like a brick wall had suddenly appeared in front of him. The only sound around them was the rain pounding on the windows and their heavy breaths.
Blair watched as he tilted his head to the side, bringing his hand to his head, shaking it slightly as if fighting off a headache. Then, bright blue eyes found hers, he hissed and examined the blood dripping from the side of his palm and down his muscular forearm.
"Blair? What--what happened?" His voice echoed through the kitchen and a piece of her heart shattered knowing that the happiness she felt today and the way he kissed her and how it made her feel had just dissipated like candle smoke.
Blair choked back a sob, her hands running through her long, black hair. She had fucked everything up. Years and years of pining after the boy next door- and she destroyed any semblance of hope for a future together.
Whatever powerful energy she had felt earlier in the day was about ten seconds away from fully consuming her-
And yet, here they stood. The rain continued to beat down on the roof. A flash of lightning lit up the kitchen, and she could see the confusion behind Bucky’s blue eyes as they caught the light.
Her heart melted. This had gone too far. Guilt and despair were currently dueling inside her, but she had to try to save this. She needed to. She broke eye contact to grab a kitchen towel.
“I’m sorry,” she whispered, taking a small step towards him. “Let me fix it.”
Blair grabbed his hand in her shaky one and pressed the towel to his with a sniffle, wincing as he hissed from the contact.
"Come on, let's go to my room." she whispered, barely able to find her voice in this moment. "I'll get the first aid kit and patch you up."
Bucky nodded slowly, confusion still swirling through his eyes as they walked towards the stairs. The lights flickered off and Blair swore under her breath. When they made it up to her room she sat him on the bed, as delicately as possible as her heart broke further at the look in his eyes just begging to understand what he was doing there.
She brought his hand up to her lips and placed a small kiss on his knuckles as reassurance. In truth, it was just as much a silent plea for forgiveness to what she had put him through, unbeknownst to him.
Blair let him go as she turned around to light some candles for them to be able to see. As she did so, she heard Bucky clear his throat softly.
"Blair, what the hell is going on? Did I- did I do that to your window? I don't-"
"Sshhhh, let's-- let's just get your hand cleaned up first, okay?" Blair tried to calm him down, his body was shaking, both from the cold rain and the after effects of the spell.
He nodded, watching her light a candle so she could look for the first aid kit. Blair grabbed from behind the mirror in her bathroom, got a towel and hurried back to him.
She knelt on the floor next to her bed where he sat on the edge, his labored breath making the guilt feel like a ton of bricks crushing her. She started crying silently while she cleaned his hand of the blood, the more blood she wiped the harder the tears fell.
I did this to him..
She felt his other hand touch the top of her head, pushing her hair away from her face to make her look at him and as she met his confused gaze, Blair started sobbing, not understanding how he could be so gentle with her when she caused him pain.
"I'm-- I'm so- so sorry," she said between hiccups, "I didn't mean to- to hurt you, I swear!"
"Blair?" Bucky whispered. "What's going on?"
She was shaking as she tried to fix his hand. Blair could hear Bucky's breath rattling in his chest as he whispered through tears. Her heart was breaking. How could she have been so stupid? So selfish? She never meant for it to go this far. Bucky got caught in the crossfire.
Blair shook her head, trying to focus through thick tears.
"Please talk to me?" He begged.
She looked up at him, eyes glistening as the candlelight flickered softly.
"I don't know where to start," she admitted. "But I can-- I can fix this."
Blair jumped up abruptly, hurrying over to the vanity by her dresser. Makeup and perfume sat littered amongst the crystals and candles, knocking against each other as she quickly opened the small wooden box nestled in the center.
"So, um," she asked softly, sniffling away tears as she pulled out a dark piece of fabric. "What- what do you remember about today?"
Hurrying back to him, she crouched between his legs again. He tilted his head back a little, eyes squinting in thought.
"I remember seeing you at school. Then...I don't know, just nothing." He murmured as the cloth was wrapped around his fist. "Nothing but...being happy. I was really fuckin' happy."
Blair sneaks a look up through her eyelashes at him and meets his gaze, heat rushing through her at the intensity of it. The candlelight flickered again, growing brighter and illuminating the crystal blue that she can't resist.
Her hand rests on top of his and she takes a deep breath, feeling the warmth from her skin move through the fabric. His eyes are still on her face as she closes her own, murmuring to herself. A few heartbeats pass and she slides the cloth off his hand. Bucky flexes his fingers and his eyes go wide, looking at the now healed skin of his hand. Blair tenses, ready for him to scream, to run out. To leave her.
"Holy shit," he says breathlessly with a hint of laughter.
“Are you freaked out?” She asked nervously, staring at him, trying to gauge his reaction.
“Freaked out? Blair, what did you do? This is incredible,” he flexed his hand some more in the light from the candle.
Thunder boomed so loudly it shook the house and made Blair jump. She instinctively looked around her room nervously, her mind still frazzled and panicked.
“Hey,” Bucky slid off the bed and cradled around her on the floor before he put his hand on her face gently, “look at me.”
She paused for a moment feeling his skin on hers as her eyes searched the dark corners of her room behind him.
“You’re shaking. What happened? Did I—“
“No!” She stopped him abruptly. “No, it’s just—“
She let out a long breath, and moved herself a few inches away from him, looking down at her hands as she wrung her fingers together, trying to think of how to begin.
“It.. it wasn’t you.” She spoke quietly.
Bucky ran his uninjured hand through his hair and huffed.
“Look Blair, the only thing I’m freaked out about right now is the fact that I apparently broke your window and you seem to be scared of me. Please, just tell me what I did…" he pleaded.
Blair bit her lip and shook her head.
“I never wanted to hurt you. It wasn’t even supposed to happen to you…but when Brock stood me up the other night, I was so angry. I couldn’t help it. I - I had to do something and then right in the middle of it…there you were and then I messed up something and when I saw you this morning I knew it had gone wrong and I -" she said in a rush before letting out a sob.
“I just didn’t want to be the joke anymore. I wanted someone to care about me...”
Bucky reached down and placed two fingers under her chin and tilted her head to look at him.
“But I do care about you…”
Tear filled eyes met his as a whimper left her lips.
"But it was fake, Bucky. It wasn't real. None of it was real," she replied, her voice trailing off with a crack.
Bucky shook his head, his large hands cupped her face as the pads of his thumbs wiped away her tears.
"I've always cared about you Blair," he whispered. Bucky's body still shook slightly from his wet clothes as his eyes searched hers.
Blair sat, her face in his hands, as his intense gaze continued boring a hole through her. She noticed his small shivers and couldn’t possibly continue this conversation- confession? - before getting him into something warmer.
“You need- we should-“ she stammered. She broke their eye contact and Bucky looked visibly hurt. Blair wanted to collapse inwardly, never to be heard from again. “I’ll go get you some dry clothes.”
As she rummaged through her closet for a sweatshirt and some sweatpants she tried to take steadying breaths. She needed to calm herself down if she was going to get through this.
It's Bucky, it's always been Bucky. She only went on that date, or tried to, because she needed to feel something. She wanted to feel seen. In another light other than The Freak just because people didn't take the time to get to know her, like he had grown up but she thought she had lost him forever.
The clothes were Bucky’s that he had left one time when he stayed over at Christmas a few years back, back when they were closer.
"Here, change into these, umm.. the pants might not fit you but I don't have anything else that would." Blair told him as she turned away from the closet, her eyes widened when she looked at him and saw that he had already taken off his hoodie, knocking the breath out of her lungs with how good he looked.
She immediately lowered them back to the floor and took small steps to get close enough that she could hand him the clothes.
"Thank you, B," Bucky whispered gratefully before heading towards her bathroom, leaving her in an emotional mess as she recalled when he would always call her that when they were younger.
She sniffled and sat on her bed with her hands clasped in her lap. Her body was vibrating with anxiety and the realization that she couldn't take back what she had done. Seconds ticked by like hours before Bucky's frame filled the doorway. The sweatshirt was in his hand, and the sweatpants hung low on his hips, making her stomach flutter.
Their eyes locked and she swallowed hard.
"B," he whispered. "Can we talk?"
She gestured toward the sweatshirt.
"You should put that on. You don't want to catch a cold."
He dropped it on the floor and walked toward her, crouching down. His large hands rested on her knees, his fingertips touching hers. Her breath was caught in her chest and every time she breathed in it felt like she couldn't get enough air into her lungs. She wished she had the same power she had this afternoon, but it was all manufactured. Bucky has reduced her to a complete mess. That was his gift.
She watched him smile, that smile that made her feel so safe.
"I'd have you take care of me, though, right?"
Her face crumpled and tears rushed down her cheeks as Bucky reached up and brushed them away.
"B, I should have told you this a long time ago, but I was so scared to ruin our friendship..."
She breathed deep, bracing herself as Bucky bit his lip.
"These last few years, I have felt...lost," he whispered, rubbing the soft skin under her eyes as tears dampened his hands "Every day at school, seeing you alone was like a knife through my fucking heart. I was an idiot. I had everything I could want but I was missing the one person I truly needed."
Blair sobs, bringing her hands up to his wrists as Bucky tilts her forehead to meet his.
"I'm so so sorry, Blair. You can tell me to fuck off if you want, I'll understand. Whatever makes you happy."
Blair shook her head, scrunching her eyes closed.
"Buck, you don't understand. I'm different, like, really different. You don't want to be stuck with someone like me."
He smiled sweetly, brushing strands of hair from her cheeks that had become stuck to her face.
"You think I don't know that?" Bucky replies, causing Blair's eyes to open and her head to snap back. He rests his hands in her lap, fidgeting with the hem of her skirt.
"I remember that time in elementary school some flowers your mom kept on your table died. They were your favorites, huge purple orchids. You touched them and they came back. You thought I wasn't looking but...I never forgot. I just didn't get it until now."
His hands slide against her frayed and torn tights, warm despite how much they are shaking.
"I'd do anything you asked me to," he whispered. "You don't need a...a spell for that."
“Bucky…” Blair let out a sob and sat back, turning her head to look at the broken window. “You should be furious with me. You should have stormed out the moment that spell broke, you should be the one telling me to fuck off...” She sucked in a shaky breath. “I hurt you…and I can never forgive myself for this.”
“But I forgive you. Sweetheart, look at me please…” Bucky spoke softly. “Brock is a fucking asshole who doesn’t deserve anyone even close to you.”
Blair glanced back at Bucky, her amber eyes locking with his.
“Bucky I am so sorry, for everything. I never meant for any of this to happen."
Bringing his hands up, he grasped her face and rested his forehead once more against hers.
“I know. It’s not exactly how I wanted to get to this moment, but I’m happy we’re here," He whispered.
“What do we do now?” Blair sniffed.
A small smile tugged at Bucky’s lips, as his eyes traced her features.
“We could just kiss like real people do."
Blair leaned into his touch, as his fingers slowly wrapped around the back of her neck, the warmth of his skin sending shivers down his spine. His tongue flicked over his bottom lip and she could have melted right there into him. A small smile tugged on her lips.
“I’d really like that.” She whispered.
Bucky smiled, leaning into her. Their lips barely touched for just a moment, before he tugged her gently forward, allowing their lips to fully touch. Blair could hear a soft groan muffled against her lips as her hands grasped his biceps. His tongue ran along her bottom lip, silently asking for permission.
Blair parted her lips, letting him take full control of this kiss, deepening it. She whimpered again, the warm feeling she got earlier today slowly returning but this time she knew it was real. She pulled away, catching her breath as his forehead rested against hers.
“Been waiting to do that for a while,” Bucky laughed softly.
Blair’s cheeks were already flushed with warmth, but the realization that Bucky didn’t remember kissing her earlier lit them on fire. Remembering the way he nipped at her lips…she could feel the guilt creeping back into her gut, dancing atop the butterflies.
She pulled back, taking her lower lip between her teeth. Bucky’s lips were still puckered, his brow furrowed and his eyes slowly drooped open, confused at the sudden lack of warmth against him.
“Buck, we uh- actually- kissed a little earlier today. At school.”
She jammed her hands between her thighs and the bed, trying to take up as little space as possible. The guilt was still gnawing at her. Bucky looked confused for about a millisecond, before a small smirk grew at the corner of his mouth. He pulled her hands out and held them.
“Then I guess I don’t have to be so nervous now,” he chuckled, his left thumb drawing circles along the back of her hand. He leaned back toward her and captured her lips in a heated kiss, as some of the guilt subsided. She never expected him to forgive her, but she was so fucking glad he did.
They both pulled away, breathless.
“Is there anything else from earlier that I should know about?” He grinned mischievously, looking at her through his lashes. “Any apologies I need to make, or promises I need to keep?”
Her eyes widened slightly at his question. A heat building in her stomach thinking back to their kiss at lunch and what he had said. But even with him asking now it felt wrong to bring it up. What if that was actually the spell talking? She let out a small nervous laugh and shook her head.
“What? What’d I say?” he asked, his pupils blown out but not enough to completely dim out their blue light.
Blair hesitated a bit before Bucky gave her calves a soft squeeze and gave her a sweet smile.
“Come on B, it’s me. You can tell me anything. Please?”
Her heart was pounding, she could feel the heat spreading through her body at just the thought of what he'd said earlier.
"Well.. We were talking about lunch and.. and getting something to eat, and you said.." Blair stammered through her answer, feeling his hands slowly but surely move up her calves to her knees, his touch burning through her tights as he leaned closer.
"What did I say, sweetheart? Tell me." Bucky encouraged in a sweet, raspy tone as he licked his lips, melting her insides and her body trembled as she said in a low voice,
"You said that you were hungry for something else."
The words rushed out of her mouth so fast, she doubted he understood her.
Bucky smiled and licked his lips.
"I said that?"
She swallowed hard and nodded.
"You did, but we don't--"
"Shh," he whispered, dipping his head to kiss the inside of her knee as his hands slid up her thighs. He looked up at her. "It's okay. I gotta keep my promises, right?"
Bucky dragged his mouth up and down her thigh and then sighed, biting his lip. At first, she panicked, thinking he might back out of this. Bucky was so experienced, whereas Blair really wasn't. She always saw him with a girl hanging off of his arm.
His bright blue eyes locked with hers and dug right into her soul. Her heart was pounding and her skin felt hot as his lips curled into the most beautiful smile she had ever seen. Sharp cheekbones were illuminated by the candlelight and he looked even more chiseled as he was illuminated in the warm glow.
Slowly, she watched his fingers grip the fabric of her tights and begin to rip it while her mouth dropped and her breath rushed in and out of her chest. The second his lips touched her bare skin, she gasped and he hummed softly.
This was really happening. It wasn't a spell, it wasn't one of the many dreams she had about him over the years. It was real.
"There's a little too much fabric between us, don't you think, angel?"
He continued tearing at the frayed nylon, leaving wet kisses on the skin of her thighs as they were exposed to him. Blair could only manage to whimper as she felt herself throb, wiggling her hips in anticipation.
"Calm down, baby. I haven't even started yet." Bucky breathed, a cocky smirk coming across his face.
His hands dragged up Blair's legs, feeling the smooth unmarred skin until he reached her skirt. He pushed the fabric up before wrenching a final tear in her tights. Blair gasped as the force yanked her closer to the edge of the bed. She could feel his warm breath through the soaked cotton of her underwear.
"So pretty," Bucky groaned as he pressed his lips to the black bow at the top of the soft fabric. "You alright with me having a taste?"
"Please," Blair said as she nodded frantically.
Bucky smiled, pulling her panties slowly down her legs. Leaning in, he pressed soft kisses to her cunt, slick and swollen from the moment he started ripping her clothes off. Blair moaned loudly, running a hand through his hair as the candles' flames jumped even higher than before.
"We can do better than that," Bucky drawled before gripping her legs and diving back underneath the pleated skirt.
As Bucky circled his tongue against her clit, and moved to slide a finger inside of her, causing a deep groan to escape from Blair’s chest. She fell backwards onto her bed, her free hand gripping the sheets beside her head, keeping her other tangled in Bucky’s hair. The mirror atop her dresser rattled, as the candle flames flickered brighter.
Bucky let out a chuckle, the vibrations sending a wave of pleasure up her spin.
“Atta girl...” He mumbled quickly, before pulling her swollen bud between his teeth and sucking on it, curling his finger inside her.
Her breath quickened, and she slammed her eyes shut as her hips bucked against his hand.
“Fuck Bucky…oh my god” She panted.
"We'll get to that darlin'. Just wanna take care of my girl," He mumbled against her before lapping at her folds again, his fingers hitting a spot within her that made chills spread across her skin like a forest fire.
The rubber band in her stomach twisting and tightening with every careful and precise move he made, as if he was committing her body and the sounds she made to memory.
"You're the sweetest thing I've ever tasted, B," He groaned, moving back to her clit, his tongue lashing at her clit while Blair's moans filled the air, singing enchantments like a Stevie Nicks song on an old record player. Her body was slowly becoming overwhelmed with the emotion and the pressure building inside of her and all she wanted was to tumble over that edge with him.
Bucky sucked on her clit like a man starved as he curved his fingers upwards inside her. That was it. She whined as she felt the energy inside her build up and up until it threatened to overflow. Her back arched and she came so hard, she saw stars. Her toes curled and flexed, the backs of her thighs sitting firmly against Bucky’s shoulders.
His large hands bunched her skirt up further against her thighs and held her hips in place, continuing to lightly flick her clit with his tongue. She could see him palming at the tent in his pants.
“Oh my god,” Blair sighed as she came down from her high, slowly rocking her hips against his lips- shiny with her slick. She could feel the vibrations in the air. The energy in the room was heavy and hot in the most delightful way. He smiled against her and planted one last, sloppy kiss against her cunt. She suddenly felt vulnerable, and moved to cover herself up.
“Nuh uh, sugar,” Bucky sang as he grabbed her wrist. Blair’s cheeks burned at the nickname and his eyes softened. “I want to feel all of you. If you’ll let me.”
She bit the inside of her cheek and nodded.
“You wanna scoot back up on the bed for me, sweets?”
He let her legs down from his shoulders as she propped herself up on her elbows to move up. Bucky followed suit behind her, a satisfied smile on his face and eyes full of adoration but hungry all the same. He moved to hover over her on the bed as she laid herself back. He held himself up with his right arm and his left cupped her cheek as he leaned in and took her lips in his in a loving kiss.
“Are you doing ok? I just, we can stop whenever you want to. I want you to feel safe with me, B.”
She had tears in her eyes the second the words left his lips.
"I'm okay. I don't want to stop," she whispered.
Bucky smiled and kissed her forehead, gently tugging on her sweater so that she would lift her arms. He pulled it off of her and his jaw dropped as he admired every curve of her body.
"I'm gonna be so good to you. Treat you the way you deserve to be treated," he murmured as he nuzzled her cheek with the tip of his nose. "You're not a freak, B. And Brock was never good enough for you. He never will be."
It was all almost too much to take. Almost. She sniffled and bit her lip as Bucky's lips found hers. Her hands glided up and down his waist, feeling his soft, perfect skin beneath the pads of her fingers.
"It's always been you, Bucky," she breathed. "I'm so sorry about today."
He pulled away, cupping her cheek.
"No sorries necessary. Just a happy accident that brought us together, yeah?"
What Blair was really afraid of was what would happen when this was over? Bucky was a football player, he had a reputation. His friends were popular.
As he sucked on her neck and made her whine beneath him, she gasped softly.
"You can't be seen with someone like me."
"I can be seen with whoever the hell I want. And I want you. All I've ever wanted was you."
"Bucky...you heard Steve earlier...and John. I can't do that to you," She breathed, running her hands up and down his biceps.
He shook his head, and moved to press his forehead against hers.
"Shh, forget about them…forget about today,"' Bucky said softly, pressing a kiss to her lips. "It's just you and me now."
Another kiss, then another, trailing down her chin, and back to her throat as he pressed his bulge into her.
"Please..." He whispered.
Blair tried her best to tuck her worries away. Maybe it would be fine for them at school. Or maybe this was her only chance to have Bucky all to herself. Either way, this moment was not going to pass her by. She wanted to soak up every second she could with his love around her.
"I need you, B.. "
"Please Bucky...please fuck me..." She pleaded.
He placed one more sloppy, wet kiss to her lips, before standing up and pushing off the sweatpants. Climbing back between her legs, Bucky pressed his lips to her hips, and kissed his way back up Blairs body, taking in every inch he could. Whines and moans escaping her lips as she reached for him to come back up to her.
"Is this okay, darlin'?" He asked looking into her eyes as he aligned himself with her entrance
Her heart skipped with the way his eyes peered down at her, nothing but love and adoration sat behind his dark pupils and it was then that for this moment all of her worries washed away.
Blair cupped his cheek, her fingers moving to tangle in the hair at the nape of his neck, feeling goosebumps rise on his skin as she pulled him to her lips in a sweet slow kiss. Bucky gave her one last peck before pulling back and she smiled up at him.
“More than," Blair whispered.
Her opposite hand rested against the muscly expanse of his chest and she could feel his heart hammering under her fingertips as he slowly pushed past her entrance while both of their mouths falling open in soft moans.
He continued moving, stopping every so often to allow her to adjust to him. Bucky wasn’t just a gifted football player, he was gifted in other ways as well that she was slowly becoming thankful for.
Bucky finally bottomed out, his hips stilling and his entire body going tense as he pushed back the hair that had fallen in her face, a movement that surprised her and almost made tears well in her eyes again.
“Are you okay?” He asked in a soft whisper, his lips barely touching her own.
Her eyes slid shut, this time really trying to keep herself from crying again. When she opened them his brow was furrowed , his eyes searching her face. Blair reached up, gently rubbing her thumb over the little indent his brows made and smiled.
“I’m okay Bucky, you can move now.” She said softly, pushing her fingers through his hair.
Bucky whined as her fingers raked through his hair. He slowly pulled his hips back and Blair gasped at the loss of contact. He thrusted forward and she cried out- a deep burn that slowly turned to pleasure as Bucky thrusted again.
Their eyes were locked on each other’s as he bottomed out. The emotions were overwhelming- Blair had experienced some of her highest highs today, quickly followed by her lowest lows. And now- this- she felt the words bubbling up with each snap of Bucky’s hips. More tears filled her eyes and threatened to escape as she bit down on her bottom lip, rutting her hips up against him. He slowly found a rhythm and the room was a duet of whimpers and moans, set to the tune of the rainfall outside.
“Oh fuck, Jesus. Fuck,” he whined as his thrusts sped up. “You take me so well, baby.”
The praise was a direct hit to both her heart and her cunt- she felt an undeniable pull inside her chest as she moaned, tears flowing freely. She fluttered around his length.
“I love you, Bucky- fuck- ah- such a good boy.”
Bucky’s face lit up, a blinding smile gracing his lips. His thrusts faltered for a split second after her words before he picked the pace back up and engulfed her lips with his, swallowing her moans. As he pulled back tugged Blair’s bottom lip between his teeth causing her to hiss. He slid his tongue over her lip slowly to soothe the sting.
Blair let out a whimper as he cupped her face and kissed a tear that rolled down her cheek.
“I love you too, Blair. Always have.” placing one more kiss to her lips he whispered, “I’ll always be your good boy.”
She didn't know whether to laugh or cry as Bucky drove himself deeper and deeper into her. Blair was overcome with emotion, and as she reached up to place her hand on his chest, the candle that was illuminating the room went out.
Bucky smiled and Blair whined at the absence of their only light source as silver moonlight trickled in from the window.
"Don't worry about it. You look so pretty in the moonlight." He kissed her forehead. "My beautiful girl."
"Oh my God," she sobbed as he hit a spot inside of her that made her toes curl.
"Love you so damn much. I've dreamed of this moment for so long. It's so perfect."
She could feel a fire burning deep in the pit of her stomach and her eyes rolled back as Bucky's mouth ghosted along her jawline and down her neck. She fluttered around him, squeezing him and making him whimper as his hips began to snap harder. Blair could feel her climax building to the point of explosion, and Bucky sensed it. They were so connected that she swore he could read her mind right now if he really tried.
"That's my girl." His smile was so gentle and sweet and he placed the most delicate kiss on her lips as he fucked her harder. "Let go for me, babydoll."
A sob left Blair's lips as felt herself clenching and fluttering around his as he drove into her. Her mind wanted to go to a million different places, but Bucky's words and presence kept her right here. Right where she needed to be. And even if it was the only moment she got, Blair was holding on to this forever.
"Oh my god!" She groaned, as the fire in belly finally let go, nothing but pleasure washing over every inch of her as tears streamed down her temples.
Bucky peppered her face with kisses, taking in the tears as his thrusts became more uncontrolled.
"Shh, I've got you. You're okay," He whispered, before moaning into her skin.
"Angel, I've gotta..."
"It's okay Bucky. Please…come for me"
"Ah, fuck!" He whined, as his pace quickened and his head dropped to nuzzle into her neck. "I'm gonna..."
"I've got you, Bucky…let go," She reassured him, placing a wet, sweaty kiss against his head.
Blair's leg wrapped around his waist, holding him close to her as he let out a soft whine at her words, his hips reckless against her own as he came, filling her up. Soft whimpers fell from his lips against the side of her neck as he slowed his pace, his cock twitching inside of her.
She ran her fingertips down the ropes of muscle in his back, holding him close. Blair prayed to whatever deity that would listen, that this moment wouldn't end and that tomorrow at school he'd treat her the same way he is now. Anything else would break her.
Bucky lifted his head after a moment of catching his breath and her mind racing through a thousand thoughts. He pressed his lips to hers, gently sucking on her top lip before pulling back again.
"I'm yours, Blair." Bucky whispered, as if he once again could read her mind. "Nothing is going to change that."
Tears fell from her eyes again as the blue slowly returned to his eyes and her heart drummed between them.
"I'm scared Buck." The words tumbled from her lips in a quiet confession. "I've always been yours. But I can't go into tomorrow pretending like today never happened with guys like Steve and John around."
Bucky moved to the side, and tucked his arms around Blair, pulling her close into his chest, and kissing her forehead.
"I have waited for this moment for a really long time B, there's no way I'm letting you go now," He said as his fingers ran gently up and down her back. "I don't give a fuck what those guys or anyone else thinks. It's always been you. You're the most important thing to me. And I will tell you that as many times as you need to hear it," he smiled.
Blair sighed, and nuzzled into her check, as the candles in the room all flickered on, a warm glow filling the room. She looked up at him and placed a light kiss on his lips.
"I love you, Bucky Barnes."
"I love you too, sweet girl."
They stayed there in silence, enjoying the sounds of each other's breaths and calmness that had finally settled in the air. Worries still danced around Blair's head as she thought about the day to come. But with Bucky by her side, she knew everything would be okay. Eventually.
