I stumbled across sunliwx’s work and am so impressed with it. She gives the characters a raw ruggedness which works incredibly well and (although this is obviously an iconic scene from the series) she’s also created some wonderful original scenes too. It looks like she’s only just getting going on her Hannibal work and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.

Sleep hygiene isn't in itself a bad idea, routines are great, but you know at least some of it is ideology-based because the guides always say "NEVER EVER TAKE A NAP EVER" rather than "if you're going to nap, nap at the same time and for the same duration every day"

But of course, a lot of sleep hygiene stuff IS ideology-based. It's about people sleeping for the "correct" (read: convenient to their work schedules) amount of time, and making fatigue about "personal responsibility" rather than illness, stress, or overwork

ok turns out the tiktok ban did get passed and i have to reiterate as shitty as the app is and how harmful it is, the fact that the ban came as a result not of any actual good reason but because the us government wants to silence people is actually horrible and is inexcusable. if this is how harmful things are treated—only if it inconveniences the government—then it shows just how corrupt america is tbh and endangers actual free speech. the reason why that amendment was implemented in the first place is to allow criticism of the government yet when you do that you get gassed, arrested, even killed. fuck this country man.
