Today is exactly 10 years since the LA premiere of CA:TWS! As good a day as any to release all of our prompts so you can plan for the anniversary event.

Kicking off on March 26th, we'll be celebrating a decade of CA:TWS with 8 daily prompts to choose from, ranging from thematic prompts and quotes, to more general prompts and character-specific ones. These can be interpreted in any manner you choose and do not need to be linked to the daily theme.

As a reminder: this is an open event (see rules and FAQs - content does need to relate to CA:TWS), and the use of our daily prompts is entirely optional. They’re there to inspire, not to put up restrictions.

Stony Loves Steve 2024

We’re back again to celebrate Steve’s birthday, July 4th, with Stony Loves Steve! This is a Steve/Tony gift exchange where participants create and receive Steve-centric fanworks.

There are plenty of wonderful creations based on Tony, and that’s awesome!. For this exchange, however, we’re choosing to focus on Steve. We hope to see more works exploring him and his side of his relationship with Tony across the Marvel multiverse, whether that relationship is slash or friendship.

Sign-ups will open on April 14th and run until April 28th. Additional scheduling info here. 

An AO3 account is necessary to participate as the exchange is run through the site. If you do not already have one, please request one ASAP as it may take some time for AO3 to send your invitation. Yep, this is an event dedicated to Alpha Bucky Barnes! The rules are pretty simple for this one, please see below the cut!

FAQs/RULES:

Your work has to feature Bucky Barnes as an Alpha.  -» There are no restrictions on pairing. This means polyamorous relationships are fine as well, so long as Bucky is the prominent feature.  -» There are no restrictions on the type of relationship. You can have alpha/omega relationships or go for something less conventional like alpha/alpha, etc. It could also involve no relationships. -» There are no restrictions on the rating of the fic. Omegaverse is not inherently sexual, so works of ALL ratings are welcomed and encouraged. Some examples of G/T ideas include: an act such as nesting, courting, purring while cuddling, scenting, getting territorial

Your work must be tagged appropriately. You must use the tag “Omegaverse”. As a note, “a/b/o” is considered offensive, so we ask that you please avoid using this terminology and just stick to: “omegaverse”, “alpha/beta/omega”, “alpha/omega dynamics”, “alpha/alpha relationships” or some variation of those.

All modes of creation are accepted with the following minimums:  -» Fics: 750 words -» Art: finished sketch (inked/lined, coloured or shaded)  -» Moodboards (9 pictures) -» Fanvids (2 minutes) -» Podfics (4 minutes) -» Other crafts (equivalent of the above - if unsure, give us a shout!)

There is no maximum to the limits above, and no limit on how many works you create.

Stucky Historical Fiction 2023

I am so excited to announce Stucky Historical Fiction 2023: Mythology! Here are some changes you need to be aware of: first, all stories will need a beta reader; second, all stories will need to include the theme of mythology; and third, all stories should meet or exceed our word-count goal of 5,000 words. We are emphasizing historical accuracy and research because this event runs from May 26th to December 1st. This is more than enough time to dig deep and research thoroughly.

Thank you so much for the incredible response to our interest check! We were overwhelmed with over 200 responses and we’re delighted to announce that the CA:TWS 10-year Anniversary Event will be going ahead from March 26th to April 4th 2024. 

Based on the response to our interest check, this will be an open event, meaning we will allow any content related to CA:TWS. We will provide daily (thematic) prompts to help inspire you, the use of which are optional. We will be releasing the prompt lists two weeks beforehand so that participants will be able to prepare creations for posting on the appropriate day. 

Prompts can be interpreted however you wish, though we request that they are focused on CA:TWS (whether canon or canon divergent). Creations permitted will include – but are not limited to – fanfic, gifsets, podfics, fanart, moodboard, playlists, fic rec lists, crafts, etc.  

Full rules and FAQs will be published shortly.
