I want to express my frustration because... im trying to write some time travel Merthur fanfic as one does...

and I keep hitting my head against the same wall. Because just in case you didn't know England SUCKED before imperialism and colonialism.

Not that that made it better but, the English isles didn't have a variety of fruits or vegetables, the did have meat and fish and salt I think, but no sugar or way of producing it but honey if I remember correctly.

And admittedly climate change is a pain in the ass, but in medieval times the winters probably consisted in huge blizzards and freezing for 4 months.

They didn't even had tea!!!

All the good stuff its because of colonialism which is horrible for the world but whatever.

Im trying so hard to ignore this facts... to be free and write about silly angsty boys but I needed someone to know how difficult it is.

Because Merlin having lived in a 21 century would have spent since the 16th drinking bloody tea, and now he is back in time and doesn't have tea, doesn't even have sugar, it's a pain in the ass to get milk, and he can't even get his favorites foods because the fruits and vegetables aren't even evolved yet.

BECAUSE YES! All of the greens have suffered a tremendous amount of change because of selective farming!! so even if there were apples back there, they probably wasn't the same apple, probably weren't even half as sweet as they are now a days!

Same with animals, and plants. Many of the species have gone extinct but they existed back then. And im dying for a chance to bring this into the fic, to prove just how difficult the transition it's, but a the same time, it doesn't matter right? not really.

bUT I NEEDED TO VENT A LITTLE SO thank you for listening to my rant.

Also im not even a history girly, im an art babe, so all of this I know by logic and assumptions from my art history clases, and my hyper fixation, so obviously take everything with a grain of salt.

((It's just that I was cooking and I was trying to think which ingredients were available at that time to make the most simple dish but no, there was almost none, no spices, no tomato, I think the had cabbage, and like broccoli because its the same plant, but probably wasn't evolved into all of the different versions we know, they had beans, and lentils I think, the potatoes come from South America, so no potatoes, the had bread but what kind of bread??? sO YEAH, this is my head.. all the time))

I have seen a NPMD edit with the Ghostbusters song (which, by the way, is incredible) and now I want a fanfic where the Nerdy Prudes (Peter, Richie, Ruth) are ghosts hunters

I imagine the whole deal of them hunting ghosts is more for funsies, I am pretty sure they don't believe in ghosts. So I find hilarious to them to start hunting because someone thought it was going to be fun or something (I have been thinking maybe Richie gave the idea, and the other two went with the idea, because they haven't anything to do better) to THEN they actually find out that ghosts ARE ACTUALLY REAL.

Maybe Steph and Grace would join them but a bit later on, I headcanon that Steph at some point meet Peter and the rest of the Nerdy Prudes and decided to stick with them because she thought would be probably fun to hang out with these nerds.

TW: Implied kidnapping, Furina is kind of a sadist, humilation?

Furina really tried to uphold her status as the Archon of Justice and be her fairest self possible (though she failed most times). Furina holding make-shift trials for you whenever you so much as said anything she considered rude that day. At least she gave you two chances to beg for mercy!

Honestly, when this idea first came to her she originally wanted to hold these trials at the Opera Epiclise, though that was shot down when she tried to bring it up with Neuvillette. She swore she saw the blue part of his hair turn the slightest bit grey that day.

And that is the origin of the small courtroom in Furina's living quarters, which is of course being used at this very moment.

"Y/N L/N, you are being charged with accounts of escaping and causing damage to the Palais Mermonia; how do you plead?" Furina asked you while sitting on a particularly high chair as she kicked her feet back and forth. You couldn't tell if it was out of boredom or excitement but you really didn't think whatever she was doing was amusing.

That's just one of the many ways you contrast Furina.

Images of what had happened earlier this day started to flash through your mind at the speed of light, waiting for Furina to go attend to some quote-un-quote 'boring Hydro Archon stuff'. Breaking a window and trying to work up the courage to jump from the highest drop you've ever seen. And of course, your least favorite part, Furina catching you for the sole reason that she left her gloves at home. Today was NOT a good day.

"Furina I'm sorry I didn't-" You start but Furina cuts you off.

"Sorry won't cut it. I had to skip another trial for this so you make it worth it." Furina smiles for a second and seems to have a light bulb moment "How about this? If you give me three good reasons to not lock you in my room again I won't.~" She flashes a playful grin, yes this was her idea but it was so funny to her! She just had to make it a little bit more dramatic as well.

"Well-" This is the second time she's cut you off does Furina really want to be 'fair' with you?

"And I'll count to five, only to make it less drab." And what's drama without stakes? She has to add some stakes as well! All your thoughts that were going through your head were:

Is she messing with me on purpose? (The answer is a very clear yes by the way.)

"You see, it's been a long time since I was able to go out, and I just thought if I just went out for a couple of hours while you were out." You start explaining of course, you weren't planning on coming back but Furina wouldn't know she's the God of Justice not wisdom!

"Lying in a courtroom, low blow. ~ Oh and you're at three seconds!~" Dammit. Furina saw right through you.

"And...I Furina.. Please.."

"Times up..~ Well Y/N L/N, as you have given me one reason I've decided to let you out but.." The playful grin on Furina's face turns slightly sadistic as she continues "Go get the chains. You brought this on yourself, not me. I think it's about time we went on a date correct?"

"Yes.. Lady Furina."

I just discovered the call of duty fandom and let me tell you I never read so much fanfic and hc in a week!!!

I will probably never play the game but I will still love those characters till my last breath. I am living for the cod cosplay community on TikTok and yes I was dragged there by the sheer power of our leader,✨💕Brittany Broski 💕✨

So here some fic/hc ideas I would love to read about but didn’t find🥲

• cod men going to the ren faire with reader who’s super excited and make the men dress up too (Simon dressed in a armor 🫠) ( the 141 that decided to go as a team with reader and they all play along and coordinate their outfits)

• gamer cod men that teach reader how to play and are super kind about it (bonus if in exchange reader tech them how to play cozy games like “animal crossing” or “a little to the left”

• cod men doing a date at the museum and reader is just a history nerd and basically do a guided tour and the men are just listening and be like: yup I am in love!

• cod men and reader drinking tea on the outside tables of a cafe and just gossiping about life and people that walked by (soap and reader with sunglasses just judging everyone like nobody could hear them and randomly dropping a “smash” every time someone hot pass them)

Just soap putting a kilt on at every single opportunity he gets because he loves it so much and reader had once said that they like it on him . So that’s how you get soap just rocking the kilt at almost every events they go together and of course, more than one time, there was a LOT of wind (Scotland is windy as fuck) and him being the idiot that he is and never learning from his mistakes, ended up butt naked in front of the whole wedding/party/baptism/family dinner/formal evening with the 141 … (he is a total idiot but I love him)

• cod men when reader put on the broski report every time they take the car and it’s just the both of them being super invested in what Brittany is saying. Bonus if it’s the first time reader put it on and of course it’s one of those episodes where she’s saying the most random shit and the proceeds to talk about religion and philosophy and they’re just there driving being like: “ I don’t know what this woman is saying but she did make some very good points” just becoming massives fan and buying matching sweatshirts with the broski report logo on it for them and reader. And yes, they start quoting her every day and it confuses everybody else!

Ok so

2012 TMNT last Ronin au with a rise twist

In the episode in which Mikey goes to dimension x the portal breaks and his brothers can't follow him through and Mikey gets stuck in dimension x

Because of this his brothers get stressed out trying to fix the portal that when the invasion starts they are more than unprepared

Yada yada, things happen and maybe a year or so later Mikey is able to get back from dimension x,(probably found a krangs portal or smth) now hes been in dimension x for a VERY long time, so he's probably a good bit older now, and when he gets out he is shocked to see new York completely destroyed and taken over by krang

He tries to find his brothers and family but is attacked by some krangs, he manages to hold himself up for a good while but is quickly getting out numbered and then gets knocked out

That's when April and a few other survivors jump in and fight hold off the krangs long enough so they can get Mikey back to their base

After a quick reunion Mikey questions April about where his brothers are, and April has to break the news that they had already died

This obviously makes Mikey devastated and he goes into a grief filled breakdown

Some time after he calms down April explains something's to himg

She is the leader of the resistance against the krang, it's not that big of a group but strong (members could be like some other mutanimal members, karai maybe, and some other TMNT characters from other illiteratios ) she also introduces him to someone else

Casey's little sister Angel, after Casey died Leo took her under his wing until he too died, she really looked up to Leo and considered him her mentor (so like very Casey jr coded) she had heard stories about Mikey from his brothers and was very excited to meet him

After some other stuff (idk I'm lazy) Mikey starts his journey to defeat the krang, along with Angel who has already attached herself to him

What happens next is up to you, whether Mikey succeeds or fails is in your hands :)
