Damian has loved Anya for Twelve long years and finally has her as his girlfriend! That doesn't stop the doubt from entering and tormenting his mind. All he wants is Anya for himself but he doesn't want to become a nuisance!
Anya senses this (not really- she read his mind) so she attempts to reassure him in a way she knows he couldn't ever resist!
This is set when they are 17/18 at Eden Academy and are Imperial Scholars.
WARNING!- A lot of kissing! (it's basically a make out oneshot of the two!) They're very mature kisses but it's not NSFW or anything like smut so it should be fine. This is basically a Lime shot or something since it's lighter than a Lemon. If you are uncomfortable with long and heated kisses then you probably shouldn't read this!

______________________ Just A Little Longer - RC Series Part 3
WC: 1.0K~ Warnings: Small bit of cursing __________________________________________________
Rehani's POV: After about 15 minutes or so the ear piercing sound of the first bell rang throughout the cafeteria, signaling everyone to head to their home room.
Sighing, I mumble out, "I don't wanna go yet... I just wanna.. um" I can't say that to him out loud, what the hell am I thinking? He's just going to think I'm clingy.
"You just wanna what?" He asks me sweetly. My goodness this man is going to be the death of me. Forget it.
"I just wanna stay here, with you Dove." I answer, trying to hold back a smile when he gives me a wide grin and places small butterfly pecks across my face.
"Aww. You're adorable, and of course we can. For like five more minutes that is." He smiles out.
"That's not long enough." I say, holding his mid section tighter to mine in the process.
"I know sweetheart. How about after your game we go get a ton of snacks and cuddle at my place, yeah?" He whispers into my ear, kissing the shell of it gently after.
"Okay. You have yourself a deal, gorgeous." I say in a soft tone. I put my head against his chest and take a deep breath in,
"Mmm, you smell good." I tell him in a hushed tone.
A deep laugh rumbles throughout his upper body and I smile at the sound. I love his laugh. It never fails to always make me feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside. Not only that, but it lets me know that I'm making him happy. That's all I want for him if I'm being honest. "I love you, Reh-" He's then cut off by a familiar victory noise by the one and only.
"Ha ha, in your face! Get some! Wooo!"
"Leigha, baby, please. Chill out."
"Pfft- as if, I refuse to until you admit that you lost to me. Plus, I won the bet so pay up!" She says to him.
The both of them sit down opposite of us and Cole begins to say, "What the hell did you guys even bet on? I already know that it wasn't Kai's idea."
Kai shakes his head in response while mouthing the words 'help', and plants his face into his lover's neck.
Gently putting her hand in his hair and rubbing softy she says, "Well, the two of us played a game of Jenga... and we decided that the loser would have to do whatever the winner said. And since I won, we are coming to your game today Rei Rei."
I'm honestly not even surprised at this rate. It seems as though they have a different bet going on almost everyday. "Why am I not surprised." Me and Cole deadpan simultaneously. She shrugs her shoulders with a goofy smile and plants a soft kiss to Kai's forehead, causing him to grin and peck her lips in response. My face drops. There's that feeling again... thank god I have this mask on, otherwise I'm sure that Cole would've noticed.
Cole's POV:
"Why am I not surprised." Rehani and I deadpan.
Kai's my best friend and sometimes I feel bad for some of the things Leigha does to him, but I know that she's perfect for him. However, that's not the main concern that I have at the moment, there's something wrong here. Or more specifically, there's something wrong with Rehani. It's like ever since we walked through the doors she's been off. I don't think I did anything considering that she's been cuddled up to me for some time now, but her warmth against me isn't keeping my worrying tendencies away. We normally tell each other everything about anything , but I'm hoping that I didn't make her uncomfortable. Feeling her start to move away I tug her back tight against me, "Where do you think you're going, Princess?" I say in a low and stern voice. Typically, I'm not a super over protective or overly bearing person but sometimes I get nervous, scared even. Scared that maybe one day she'll want to leave me for someone else, scared of the possibility that Rehani never wanted me in the first place, and most importantly, I am utterly terrified that she doesn't love me or never has.
She is my everything, if I lost her I would be devastated, and quite honestly she's the only reason I have to continue living. Before her my life was total chaos. Being a popular kid isn't all that it's cut out to be. Having to put on a different face and personality just to hide what was going on on the inside was exhausting. I used to always try and pretend that I was okay, pretend that I was happy, or that I didn't need help... but eventually all of those bottled up emotions became too much for me to bare, and I started to have suicidal tendencies. At first it was just my depression and anxiety at work, but then I started hurting myself; cutting, burning, biting, hell I even tried drowning myself at one point, but no matter what I did nothing ever seemed to fill that insatiable pit of darkness in my stomach craving for the one thing I thought I couldn't have; love. That was the one and only thing that was missing from my life back then. But thinking back on it now, I guess I could blame all of that on my terrible excuse of a mother, that's a story for another day though. Refocusing on reality, I look at Rehani as she responds. "It's time to go to the locker rooms for gym or we're going to be late. Plus, we get to play volleyball today. As much as I love playing basketball it's nice to have a little break from it every now and then. Come on, let's go." Standing up further she grabs my hand and pulls me up next to her. I smile softly. "Yeah, okay."
Yeah sure, this world can be hell and cruel and do whatever the fuck it wants to, but she makes this life worth it, worth living. Which is just one of the reasons why I am indescribably, indubitably, and unimaginably, in love with her. I love you Rehani, more than anyone or anything. And I can swear that my feelings will stay the same, no matter what happens.

him: Wait...when you woke up, why'd you stare at my face like you are...
her: Like I'm mesmerized??
Yeah, I was mesmerized by the scenario in front of my eyes.
The sunray entered the room through the small gap in the window and when it did, it first touched your hair making them look kinda golden wanting me to run my fingers through them.
Then the ray touched your eyes making me realize that you're brown eyes which is pretty ordinary but my love for you makes them look like the honey I need to enhance the sweetness of the same love.
Then the ray finally reached your lips which made the scenario kinda seductive because making feel like holding you in my embrace for the rest of my life.

The Risk (Briar U, #2)
Tumblr media
-by Aakanksha and Shivani
Rating- 3 Stars
This is the second book in the series and can be read as a standalone. But if you have read the first book in the series which is The Chase
Tumblr media
then you already know about the tension btw Brenna and Jake , it very palpable so I was quite excited to read this one, so, while I enjoyed the book overall, it wasn't exactly the hit that I was hoping for.
Tumblr media
Brenna Jensen is the daughter of the hockey coach at Briar University. She was tough, snarky, and determined to succeed but sometimes it felt like she was too headstrong for her own good.
Jake Connelly is captain of Harvard’s hockey team and just like any of the hockey players, has no problem with getting women. But he has no interest in a relationship. His focus is always hockey. But, there is something about Brenna which is different.
Now Briar U’s team is Harvard’s rival. She’s the coach’s daughter. She’s definitely trouble. So the conclusion she couldn’t be more off-limits. But does that stop him? NO. Did I enjoy the chase? definitely YES.
Tumblr media
Brenna wants to bag an internship and when she knows that her would-be boss is a fan of Jake, she just randomly throws that she might be his GIRLFRIEND. So now, she has to request jake to play the role of her Fake boyfriend at an event and in return he asks for a real date, which was unexpected but also cute!!.
Tumblr media
They start spending time together and realise that they don't wanna kill each other and maybe they actually enjoy each other’s company. Their bond grows stronger with time, trust is beginning to form, secrets are shared and when she reveals her vulnerabilities to him and how he treats her after shows that he actually cared about her.
But then what, comes in the devil (well not actually) his best friend, Hazel, who is actually in love with jake but is waiting for him to realise
Tumblr media
she says certain things to him due to which doubt crept in and what does he do? Breaks up with her and all of this is the day after Brenna reveals her deep dark secrets
But then things get better, problems are solved and apparently, his best friend was not actually the she-devil. So if you are looking for steamy enemies to lovers sports romance with hilarious banter and red hot rivalries you can give it a go.

Electric Encounter
Content warning: passionate kissing, mild sexual tension and strong language.
As I stepped through the doorway, the sounds of laughter and music washed over me like a wave. The party was in full swing, with people milling about and mingling in the dimly lit room. I took a deep breath, steeling myself for the inevitable encounter with Christian, who I had not seen since the bitter argument we had weeks ago. I glanced around, searching for Jessica, spotting her across the room with Luke. I began to navigate through the crowd.
Just as I was about to reach her, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around to see Christian grinning at me, his blue eyes sparkling in the light. "Violet," he said, his voice smooth as silk. I could feel the heat rising in my cheeks as I tried to compose myself.
"Hey, Christian," I managed to reply, my voice sounding slightly shaky. "I was just looking for Jessica." I gestured towards her, now deep in conversation with Luke.
He followed my gaze and smiled. "Well, when you don't want to be a third wheel, come and find me." His hand lingered on my shoulder for a moment before he let it drop, disappearing into the crowd.
I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart. The lights and music seemed to be getting louder, more oppressive. I needed some fresh air. Making my way through the throng of people, I found a French door that led out to the patio. The cool night air was like a balm on my skin as I stepped outside.
The patio was less crowded than the main room, offering a brief respite from the chaos. I leaned against the railing, watching the partygoers through the glass doors. Christian was still in there, laughing and talking with his friends. He looked so comfortable, so at ease.
A cool breeze rustled the leaves overhead, and I inhaled deeply, letting it clear my head. As I stood there, lost in thought, I didn't notice that someone had joined me until I felt their presence beside me. It was Jessica. She rested her elbow on the railing, mirroring my posture, and gave me a knowing smile.
"Hey," she said softly. "Bumped into Christian, huh?"
I nodded, feeling a mix of emotions churning in my stomach. "Yeah, he's over there."
"I wish you could get along, now that I'm with Luke." Jessica paused, and I could tell she was choosing her words carefully. "I mean, I know you've had your differences, but you could at least try to be civil, right? For my sake?"
Her words hung in the air, and I felt a twinge of guilt. I knew she was right; it wasn't fair to let our past issues spill over into her new relationship. But at the same time, I couldn't just pretend like nothing had happened. "I'll try," I said finally, meeting her eyes. "I'll try to be more civil."
We stood there in silence for a moment, the sound of laughter and music drifting out through the open doors. "You know," I began, my voice slightly less tense, "I think I'm just going to go get a drink. Want to come with?"
Jessica smiled. "Sure," she said, and together we made our way back into the party. The music seemed louder now, and the room was spinning with movement. We threaded our way through the crowd, making our way to the kitchen. There was a long counter with various drinks laid out on it, and people were pouring themselves glasses or mixing their own concoctions. Jessica leaned against the counter, scanning the array of options, while I stood beside her, trying to decide.
"What are you in the mood for?" I asked, glancing at her. She shrugged. "I don't know, something fruity." I nodded and began to pour her a drink.
As I handed her the glass, I saw Luke waving from the living room. "Lover boy wants you Jess." I say with a grin. She rolls her eyes and takes a sip of her drink. "Alright, well, I'll catch up with you later, ok," she says, walking away from the counter. "Don't go too far!" I call after her, but she just waves her hand dismissively.Left on my own, I take a moment to sip my drink and survey the room. There's a group of people near the stereo, dancing. A few others are gathered around the fireplace, laughing and talking. I feel a pang of loneliness as I realize that I only really know Jessica. Everyone else seems to be paired off, or in groups.
I decided to make a move to the living room, where the music is louder and the atmosphere more vibrant. As I weave my way through the crowd, I spot Christian talking to a group of people near the fireplace. He notices me approaching and smirks, his eyes sparkling with mischief. I smile and veer off into the hallway to avoid him.
As I stand there, lost in thought, I hear footsteps behind me. I turn around to see Christian, his blue eyes sparkling with interest. "You know," he says with a smile, "I've been meaning to talk to you." His words are smooth, almost seductive, and I can feel my heart race in my chest.
I nod slowly, trying to appear nonchalant. "Oh yeah? About what?"
He takes a step closer, so close that I can feel the heat emanating from his body. "Well," he says, lowering his voice, "I just wanted to talk about a peace treaty." My heart skips a beat at his words.
I raise an eyebrow, trying to appear unimpressed. "A peace treaty, huh?"
He nods, taking another step closer. "Yeah, you know, between us. It's getting a bit old, this constant back-and-forth. Don't you think it's time we put it behind us?"
I take a deep breath, steeling myself for the risk. "Alright," I say cautiously. "I'll give it a try. But you have to promise me one thing."
He leans in closer, his breath hot against my ear. "Anything," he whispers.
I smile, feeling a tiny thrill of power at this moment. "You have to stop flirting with me." His eyes widened slightly. He grins, and it's the most charming grin I've ever seen.
"I thought you liked our little back and forth?" He teases, his voice low and playful.
"Well..." I responded, looking him in the eye, " I..." My voice trails off, and I feel a shiver run down my spine. There's something about the way he's looking at me, something in his expression that tells me he knows exactly what he's doing.
He leans in closer, his breath warm against my face. "Do you really want me to promise that?" he whispers. My heart skips a beat at his words, and I feel my stomach flip-flop. "Because..." His eyes darted down to my lips, and I felt a shiver run down my spine. "It's been too much fun teasing you..."
I bite my lower lip, debating whether to push him or let him win this round. "Well," I say slowly, "I guess I can't stop you from being who you are." There's a spark in his eyes as he hears this, and he takes another step closer, so close that our bodies are touching.
His hand finds its way to my waist, pulling me even closer, until I can feel the heat of his body through my clothes. "I don't think this is what Luke and Jess had in mind when they asked us to be more civil?" I manage to say, my voice coming out shaky and breathy.
He smirks, his lips curving into a wicked grin. "Well, it's better than us fighting. That's what they wanted, anyway. Who's to say how we achieve it?" He leans in closer, his breath warm against my ear. "And besides," he whispers, "I think I can be quite...persuasive when I put my mind to it." My heart skips a beat at his words, and I feel myself growing more and more aware of the way his body is pressed against mine.
"Don't you think it would be worse if we got together, fuck things up and end up hating each other?" I counter, "That would make things even worse for Jess and Luke." He freezes for a moment, as if he hadn't considered that possibility. "It's not like you're serious. I'm just a game to you, like everything else is." My words sting, but they're the truth.
His expression hardens slightly, and he takes a step back, putting some distance between us. "You're wrong," he says, his voice low and intense. "I'm not just playing games. Not when it comes to you." His words send a jolt through me.
I swallow hard, trying to find the right words to respond. "How do I know you mean it?" I finally managed to say. His expression softens, his hand moving up to cup my cheek.
"Because I do," he says gently. "I really do." There's something in the way he's looking at me, something that makes it impossible to doubt him. "I promise," he whispers, leaning in inches from my lips. "I'll stop playing games. I'll be honest with you, and I'll try to be everything you deserve."
"Then kiss me," I say, my voice barely above a whisper. He does as I ask, pressing his lips against mine in a tender, sweet kiss. It's like all the air has been sucked out of the room. And for a moment, there's nothing but the feeling of his lips against mine, the heat of his body, and the scent of his cologne, lemon, ginger and something woody.
His hands slide up my back, tangling in my hair, as he deepens the kiss. It feels like it lasts for an eternity, but when he finally pulls away, my lips tingle and my heart feels like it's about to burst out of my chest. He looks into my eyes, his expression intense, and I know that this moment, right here, is the realization of why we get under each other's skin so much.
It's not just the physical attraction or the banter; it's the way we push each other's buttons, the way we force each other to work harder. It's a dance, a game of chicken, and somehow, in the midst of all the chaos, I've found myself falling. Or maybe I've always been falling, and this is just the first time I've admitted it to myself.
I grab the collar of his shirt and pull him back in. He groans into the kiss, his hands sliding down my back and over my ass, gripping me firmly. I moan into his mouth, my head spinning from the taste of him, the feel of his lips on mine. He presses his body firmly against mine. It's like every nerve ending in my body is on fire, and this kiss is just pouring gasoline on the flames.
When we finally pull apart, I see Jessica and Luke are staring at us, their mouths hanging open in shock. I can feel the heat rising in my cheeks as I realize what we must look like: two people who have been fighting for months, suddenly passionately making out. I want to deny it, to pretend it didn't happen, but the look on their faces tell me they saw everything. We had been caught with our hands in the cookie jar.
"I guess you two learnt how to be civil... or something," Luke says, his voice a mix of shock and amusement. Jessica, on the other hand, is still gaping at us, her expression a combination of surprise and disbelief. I can't help but feel a little self-conscious under her gaze.
Christian lets out a soft chuckle, his eyes still locked on mine. "I guess we did," he says, a playful glint in his eye. He leans in, kissing me once more, this time sweet, before he stepped back with a grin.
"Well, I'm glad to see you two getting along," Jessicas says, trying to sound casual as she takes a sip of her drink. But there's a new edge to her voice, a hint of curiosity. "So, I guess we don't need to worry about you two fighting anymore, huh?"
I glance over at Christian, feeling a blush creep up my neck. He meets my gaze. "No, I don't think we'll be fighting anymore," I say slowly, still trying to process what just happened. "I mean, we might still bicker a bit..."
Jessica raises an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "Well, that's good to hear," she says with a small smile. "Come with me to the bathroom, Vi?"
I follow her down the hallway, my heart still racing from the kiss. I know this is an excuse to be alone and for Jessica to interrogate me about what just happened between Christian and me, but I'm not so sure I understand myself. I mean, he kissed me. I kissed him back. But we've been fighting for months. How did we go from there to here?
"So, what was that?" Jessica asks, once we're in the bathroom. She leans against the sink, studying my expression. "I mean, I didn't expect you… and him… you know."
I shrug, feeling a little embarrassed. "Neither did I," I admit. "I don't know. It just sort of just happened."
Jessica smirks, clearly amused by our predicament. "Well, it's not like you two didn't have chemistry," she says with a teasing laugh.
I can't help but smile back, feeling a little sheepish. "I just thought it would be more of an explosion..." I trail off, not quite sure how to explain the unexpected tenderness of the moment.
Jessica laughs, shaking her head. "Well, I'm glad it happened. I was worried you two would end up killing each other."
"I mean, I still plan on destroying him… academically." I laugh., trying to make light of the situation. But the truth is, I'm not quite sure how I feel about this new development. One moment we're locked in heated competition, the next we're passionately kissing like there's no tomorrow. It's like the tension between us has been building up for so long, and when it finally released, it exploded into something else entirely.
Jessica studies me for a moment before shrugging. "Well, whatever helps motivate you both, I guess. Just as long as you keep it inside the classroom." She smirks, her eyes glinting with amusement.
I laugh, feeling a lightness in my chest that I haven't experienced in a long time. It's strange how a single kiss can change everything. "No promises." I wink, enjoying the mischief in my voice.
Jessica rolls her eyes, but she can't quite hide her smile. "You're terrible," she says, but there's no heat in her voice.
We emerge from the bathroom, the music and laughter of the party washing over us. The living room is still packed, but we manage to spot Christian and Luke sitting on the sofa, deep in conversation. As we approach, I feel a thrill of anticipation coursing through me. The air feels charged, electric.
I take a deep breath, trying to steady my racing heart. I sit down next to Christian, Jessica takes the empty seat on the other side of Luke. There's an awkward silence for a moment, as if none of us quite knows how to act. Christian glances down at me, his eyes lingering on my lips before returning to meet my gaze. The air between us crackles with energy, and I can feel my cheeks flush again.
"So," Luke breaks the silence, his voice quiet but commanding. "Jess, wanna get a drink, babe?"
She nods, standing up gracefully. "Sure, love." She takes his hand, and they disappear into the crowd. Once they're gone, the air between Christian and me feels even more charged. My heart is pounding, my blood racing through my veins. I can't look away from him.
"They think they're sneaky," I comment, unable to keep the amused tone from my voice. "But I think we both know what they're doing." I glance at Christian. He smirks back, the corners of his eyes crinkling.
"I'm not complaining," Christian says, his voice low and husky. "They're giving us some space." He stretches his arms above his head, flexing his muscles and wrapping one arm firmly around my shoulders. I lean into him, feeling the warmth of his body against mine.
"Just so you know, I still plan on dominating you on our next sac." I grin, feeling the thrill of the competition course through me.
"I look forward to seeing you try," Christian replies, his voice low and confident. He leans in closer, his lips brushing against my ear. "You've never been much of a challenge for me before, but maybe this time..." He trails off, his hand moving up my thigh, sending shivers down my spine.
"Umm, no!" I object. "I've gotten higher marks than you so many times." I can feel the heat in my cheeks as I remember our last sac, where I had gotten a near perfect score.
"Oh, really?" he challenges, his grip on my shoulder tightening. "Let's see who comes out on top this time." He leans in closer, his breath fanning my cheek. "Because I'm not letting you win that easily."
"Never," he whispers back, his breath warm against my skin. He leans in closer, his lips brushing against mine, teasing. "Never, Vi." His hand slides down my back, resting on my lower waist, pulling me close. His lips finally meet mine, and I feel a surge of energy course through me. Our kiss deepens. His hand tangles in my hair, pulling me closer. The world around us fades away, and it's just us.
The music fades into the background as we lose ourselves at the moment. I can feel the heat between us. His other hand moves up my thigh, under my dress. I moan into his mouth, my fingers dig into his shoulders, wanting more. He groans, and I feel the warmth of his body against mine, as he pressed me against the sofa.
His lips move across my cheek, down to my neck, leaving a trail of heat in their wake. His touch is so gentle, yet so electrifying, sending shivers down my spine. I can feel his breath on my neck as he leaves kisses along my collarbone. My hands make their way into his hair, tangling in the mess of pale waves, and pulling him closer.
My phone buzzes in my pocket, startling me out of the lavender haze that had engulfed me. I pull it out, checking the screen. It's my mother, calling. I groan inwardly. Then I notice the time: it's way past my curfew. I feel a pang of guilt in my chest as I think of how angry my mother will be.
"I'm so dead," I mutter under my breath as I stare at the screen, feeling a mixture of guilt and annoyance. Christian senses my discomfort and reluctantly pulls away, his hand lingering on my thigh. "I've got to get home. My mom is going to kill me."
"Let me take you," he offers, his voice understanding. "I can drop you off?" He searches my face, his expression concerned.
"No.. no, that could be bad, if my mom sees a boy..." I stand up, straightening my dress and trying to compose myself. I lean in to kiss him quickly on the lips before hurrying to the door. "I'll call you tomorrow, okay?"
"Okay," he replies, a note of reluctance in his voice. "Tomorrow..."
I nod, taking a deep breath to calm my racing heart. Tonight was... amazing. But I can't think about that now. I need to focus on finding Jess and getting home without raising any more alarms. I make my way through the crowd, scanning the room for her. She's probably with Luke, somewhere. I can't believe I let myself get distracted like that. It's not like me at all.
As I round a corner, I see her in the distance, laughing with a group of people, including Luke. She glances over at me and waves me over. "Vi! Come join us!" She shouts above the music. I make my way through the crowd, feeling a mixture of relief and irritation. Relief that I found her, and irritation that she could so easily lose track of time.
"Problem." I pouted a little as I reached her side. "My mom called... She's going to kill me."
Her eyes go wide, "Shit. Is it 12 already?" She glances over at Luke, who gives her a reassuring smile.
"It's 1 in the morning, actually." Laura pops in with a smug grin. "I'm surprised you even came at all, Violet."
I glare at her before turning back to Jess. "I'm way past dead."
Jess puts a comforting hand on my shoulder. "It's okay, Vi. I know how to sweet talk us out of this one." She leans in, giving Luke a goodbye kiss on the cheek, "Lets go." She says as she takes my arm and leads me away from the group. As we make our way through the crowd I can't help but feel relieved to have her with me. She glances over at me, giving me a reassuring smile. "Don't worry about it too much. You had fun, didn't you?"
We finally manage to push our way through the crowd and make it out the door. The cool night air hits me like a ton of bricks as we step out onto the street. "Yeah," I reply, feeling a flush creep up my neck as I remember how incredible the night has been. "The best."

I’m still on my MCR kick. Think I’ll be here for a while as I’ve been reading so many great fics in the fandom. And fics always inspire me to draw. But this piece is inspired by their video for the 'I’m Not Okay (I Promise)' video. You can find it here as it’s brilliant. It’s filmed like a concept trailer for a very Heathers-esq High School film. Had to draw teen Gerard and Frank from it ♥
