Chapter 40: Hot Stuff
Wednesday, December 23rd
You stayed there, soundly asleep in each other’s arms, silently breathing in and out as you slipped between slumber and awareness, Sirius would sometimes press kisses to your temple and you would reply to those with soft kisses to his cheek or neck, whichever was easier to reach, sometimes you’d even and lift your face to his and softly grace the warmth of his mouth with yours, giving Sirius the experience of lazy morning kisses he’d never had. You’d often reach out for his hand, intertwining it with his and he would sometimes play with your fingers, or drum his own over the back of your hand, creating a soft melody that neither of you could hear but both could feel. He’d often brush the pads of his fingers over your nails, feeling how some were soft and others sharp, and how the nail you’d broken on the past moon was already as long as the others; he smiled, still half asleep as he continued toying with your hands.
Time seemed to lose its significance as you lingered together, completely enraptured by the other. The world outside faded into nothing as the minutes stretched into hours, slipping away like grains of sand on a time turner, and you might have stayed there for longer –or forever– if it hadn’t been for James, who opened the curtains and hastily pulled the covers off the two of you, partly because he wanted to take revenge on what you had done to him back on the first snow day, and partly because he needed to wake you up.
“Vixen!” he said “VIXEN!”
You groaned in response, Sirius pulling you closer to him as you did, you used his chest to block the intrusive light that was now slipping in through the opened curtains.
“Bloody hell the two of you!” he said, slightly exasperated. “Lily came over worried sick! She said she was scared our plan hadn’t worked and kept wondering why you didn’t go back to your room.”
“Just kiss her until she calms down,” Sirius replied groggily.
James scoffed but decided to ignore his remark, “Anyway, she was more worried because Minnie was looking for you in the morning and you weren’t in your room!”
“For me?” Sirius asked, still half asleep, “I haven’t done anything.” He was going over everything he might have done that would deserve a scolding from McGonagall and there was nothing, at least not this week, he’d been especially careful not to do anything that might garner such attention, all with the purpose of having last night free.
“No, you Twat, for Vix!” He said pointing at you. “Said something about a potion?”
You incorporated in an instant, so fast even Sirius looked taken aback, “Fuck.”
“Fuck?” He asked, leaning over his elbows and turning to look at you.
“Yeah fuck,” you replied, “I was supposed to falsify a letter from my mum.”
“What for? You can’t cheat Minnie that easy.”
“No shit, Sherlock,” you said as you stood up hastily. Pacing around the room as you thought of a solution.
“Starshine?” Sirius asked.
“What time is it?” you asked, turning to James.
“1 pm.”
“Double fuck.”
James gave you a look, “Double fuck?”
“I haven’t packed.”
“What? You had all week to pack, and you left it until the last day?!” Sirius asked.
“Ah, because you have packed already,” you replied in a huff.
“I have!” he said as he pointed at his trunk, closed neatly at the end of the bed, “We all did. ‘Cept for Remus, but he’s not leaving ‘till New Year.” You blinked a couple of times after that, not quite believing the boys would have been so much more prepared than you. Even Peter’s things were all tidily arranged.  “Why didn’t you pack?”
“I was going to!” you argued, “and then you came with your ‘Assez de temps pour que tu me fasses un câlin’.”
“Oh,” James said as he looked at the two of you. James knew enough French to keep up with your conversations, even if he never spoke it, he used to hate his French classes, “So he seduced you to stay in bed with him.”
“He did!” you said and Sirius laughed at your distress.
“You can stay and cuddle me more, promise all your troubles will go away.”
“Godric no! If Maggie finds out I was here instead of my room, she will for sure tell Mum.”
“Why would she care?”
“Because I asked her for a contraceptive potion,” you said between gritted teeth, you weren’t too eager to tell them about it.
“Dirty linen’s out!” James teased.
“Prongs!” You complained as you looked at him, he was clearly diverted, “I did it to save your asses,” you pointed at the two boys, “back at the last Gryffindor party when you should have been in your room because you were coming back from detention!”
“Mhm,” James teased, “Mind passing the recipe to Lily once you have it?”
You scoffed at that, “We already had it!” you said in response, and that seemed to wipe the smile right off his face. Of course, you were just teasing, but it was certainly fun to give him a taste of his own medicine.
“You did?” Sirius asked, clearly curious.
“And the letter is so McGonagall thinks your mom gave you permission to learn such potions, isn’t it?” James chimed in.
You gave Sirius a look and nodded to James. “I’ll just pack a few books and make up some excuse while at it, see you at the infirmary at 2, sounds right? We can walk back to the carriages together.”
“Want help with packing?” Sirius asked as he pulled your arm to get you to spot pacing around.
You shook your head “No, no. I can deal with this one. Go check on Rem, he seemed all right in the morning but he had a good deal of sharp cuts.”
Sirius nodded in response and pulled you to him, you placed a quick kiss on his lips and waved goodbye to James. On your way down the stairs, with a disillusionment charm, of course, you started wondering where Peter had gone off to, but your curiosity didn’t last long, since a few more steps down you heard a groan coming from one of the broom closets under the stairs. Since you hadn’t seen much of him last night, you thought that perhaps he’d gotten hurt and was trying to deal with it himself, so you followed his voice and opened the door.
“What was that?” A girl –Annie Doxon, you realised– with her blouse half unbuttoned and Peter’s hand under her skirt.
You gasped and covered your mouth with your hands. Peter, who already knew how good your disillusionment charms were, knew instantly it was you and gave you an exasperated look. when he managed to discern your figure. You winced at that and mouthed a short “Good luck!” as you gave him a thumbs up and got the hell away from there. Sprinting so fast you didn’t see the steps and tripped, using your hands to stop yourself from falling headfirst onto the floor.
You held back the exasperated “fuck” you were about to let out when you hear Annie’s voice again.
“You heard that one, right? Pete? You think it could be Peeves?”
“No, Luv, it’s just the creaky floorboards in the Gryffindor tower, sometimes they move around because of the cold and the heat,” he said, he had heard Lily talk about something similar, a muggle explanation for ghosts and magical creatures. “Don’t worry about it,” he added and then shut the door.
You let out a relieved breath and carefully stood up, wincing as you placed your weight on the hand that had stopped most of the fall and realised you had scraped it, badly. You had scraped your hand badly. Wasn’t that the perfect excuse to not be in your room in the morning? You could easily say that it had happened in the bathroom or something and that you left early for the infirmary.
“Sounds like a plan,” you whispered to yourself as you stared at your bleeding hand. But what about packing? You bit your lip as you thought of a solution to that one, and then resolved to ask Marls to help you out. You walked down into the common room and pulled a piece of parchment from the recycling section Lily had started a few years back. You grabbed a pencil someone had left on the floor and wrote a quick note to Marlene, asking her to drop all the books on your desk onto your backpack and to bring them along with her to the carriages later on.
You were sure there were enough clothes at home for you to get away with not packing anything at all if you wanted, but taking the books from school, especially the ones from Transfiguration, since you hadn’t been doing so well, and you had still not asked Remus to help you out. It seemed like you were always busy with something or the other and you had let that one slide, not that he didn’t help you if you ever had a technical question on study group sessions.
Once your note was ready you bent it into a small paper plane and charmed it so it would find her, then you walked straight towards the infirmary, making sure to turn the disillusionment charm off as you used your hand to knock on the door a couple of times.
“Come in,” you heard Pomfrey’s soft voice from the inside. You walked in with a smile and waved your hand at her awkwardly. “How may I help you?”
“I tripped,” you said as you showed her your hand. The blood you had purposely not cleaned off made the scrape look a lot worse than it really was, but that was exactly what you needed. Except for the fact that Remus’ curtains were drawn, and he went pale the moment he saw your bleeding hand. While he remembered most of what happened the previous night, he also remembered Moony had been pretty rough while he played with you, there was none of the consideration he had whenever he was around you –or anyone for that matter– he had to hold his strength back to make sure he wouldn’t hurt you.
Moony wasn’t like that at all, he had played with you as if you had just been another member of his pack, the same way he would play with Padfoot or Prongs, though he did tend to be a lot rougher with Prongs (he wasn’t sure if it was because Prongs was much bigger or because the Wolf felt the same attachment to Pads he did to Sirius. Could wolves even like male wolves? You probably knew, with how much you’d read lately, but there was no way in hell he asked you that without raising some kind of suspicion.
“Oh, sweetheart,” she said in a somewhat upset tone as she walked over to you and checked the injury. It was such a small thing you felt silly coming to the infirmary over that when you had quite literally been clawed at by a werewolf, sliced with diffindo, and had even fallen from your broom in the middle of a game, and that was just in the past month.
While Remus stared, he was trying to think back to everything that had happened last night, to try and pinpoint the moment he had done that to you, but the memory –there wasn’t one– seemed to be completely gone from his mind.
“It’s nothing, but it’s kinda bothersome since it’s my writing hand,” you said as the mediwitch inspected your wound, cleaned it and started casting a spell over it, to help it close faster. In a matter of minutes, your hand looked brand new, and you looked at it amazed, it had been insanely fast, especially compared to how much your arm had taken to heal, even if that was a completely different kind of injury. You decided that you had to learn more about medical magic if you were going to continue the lifestyle that you had been taking up lately.
“There you go,” she said with a smile. Pomfrey wasn’t stupid, she had seen you fall off your broom and reject medical attention, you were strong, and probably had a high pain tolerance, so the fact that you came for a scrape was suspicious enough. Now, thankfully, she assumed it was because you wanted an excuse to see Remus rather than because you needed an alibi for not being in your room in the morning.  “I must go tend some things, you may stay if you like,” she said nodding towards a chair and giving you a small potion vial, “This should help the remaining sting to go away, but it might make you a little light-headed, so take it easy afterwards.”
You nodded with a tight-lipped smile “Thank you,” you said and took the small bottle in your hand, she nodded and started walking towards the door “Merry Christmas!” you added as she reached the exit.
She smiled and turned to you, “Merry Christmas to you too, darling.” She then gave you a courteous nod and left the room.
“Was it me?” Remus whispered once he made sure Pomfrey was out of earshot.
“What?” you asked with a frown as you turned and walked towards him, sitting right on the edge of his bed.
“Your hand… Was it Moony?”
You were taken aback by his question. “No!” you said with a frown, “I thought you remembered everything.”
“I do! But maybe Moony didn’t see that he was hurting Vi–”
“Remus,” you said as you shoved him lightly, he groaned in protest since his body was still in the very delicate process of healing, you had never visited him so early after a moon, his limbs were sore and his bones seemed to still be accommodating back into their place. “Sorry,” you said with a small wince and pulled your hand back. You then licked your lips and sighed, “I fell off the stairs after I spotted Peter snogging Annie Doxon in the cupboard under the stairs.”
“What?!” he asked with his eyes wide open, he knew Pete was seeing Annie, he had no idea he was snogging her already though.
“Yeah,” you said as you tried to eliminate the memory from your head, you were sure Beth would hex him for having his hand so high up her cousins’ tights if she ever found out. “I needed an excuse since Minnie had been looking for me, thought coming to the infirmary would do.”
Remus nodded, also thinking it was a good enough excuse, but then his mind went back to the news you had given him earlier, “Like… really snogging?”
“Remus!” you reprimanded with a smile. “But yes, really snogging. Half buttoned shirts and hand under her skirt and all, he might actually be getting some before the trip.”
“Oh that’s awful,” Remus said as he looked at you.
“You asked!” you said in self-defence. “Besides, bet Annie will be pretty pleased with herself as well… As long as Wormmy doesn’t fuck it up.”
“How could he even–”
“They’re about a hundred ways a boy can fuck it up,” you said before he even asked. “Of course, you wouldn’t know,” you added. “Bet girls wouldn’t even tell you, too happy to be with Mr. Handsome to speak.”
“Oh, really?” he asked with raised eyebrows.
“Yeah,” you nodded. “Be honest, did Alice ever tell you you were doing something wrong when you were still with her?” Remus seemed to think about it for a second and shook his head. “Point proven.”
“Or maybe I’m just really good.”
“Or maybe you’re just really good,” you said with a shrug. “If you and Sirius have anything in common–”
“Ugh stop!” he said with a grimace. He certainly didn’t need to know what Sirius was good at from your mouth, he’d had enough boasting from back when he had just started hooking up with girls, and he did not need more reasons to feel jealous of you. Or of him, for that matter, Sirius’ stupid satisfied smile when he’d snogged you was telling enough. Remus didn’t want to know what he was missing.
“What? Don’t act like a prude! I’m not the one with condoms in my bag.”
“Would you tell Sirius if he was doing something wrong?” he asked as he pulled the hand Pomfrey had just healed towards his face, inspecting it. Partly because he wanted to check on you and partly because he wanted to feel your pulse as he got your answer.
“Obviously,” you said, you weren’t lying. Your hand looked like it hadn’t ever even been bleeding in the first place and your pulse was steady. “But I’m very outspoken, and that can lead you into trouble, as you’ve seen,” you added with a shrug. “Some people don’t like being told what they’re doing wrong. At least I know Sirius would care about my input.”
“He better,” he responded defensively, still toying with your hand, you turned to look at him and then at the empty potion vial on the auxiliary table next to the bed, if your hand offered Remus some kind of comfort, then he could have it for as long as he wanted.  “If he doesn’t I can knock some sense into him.”
You laughed at that, “Worry not, I can knock some sense into him as well.”
“Knock some sense into who?” You heard Sirius say from the door. Remus didn’t make a move to let your hand go and you didn’t make a move to pull it away from him even as Sirius strolled in. Remus was still staring at your palm when Sirius sat beside you. “What’s wrong with her hand?”
“She tripped when she accidentally spotted Wormmy snogging Annie Doxon. Really snogging her, I asked.”
“Used it as an excuse,” you said as you continued with the explanation, “If I was here because I fell then, of course, Minnie didn’t find me in my room earlier.”
“And I was just about to ask why you were here and not packing.”
“Gave that one up,” you admitted. “Marlene will help me pack some books for studying over the break and I’ll just wear the clothes I left at home.”
Sirius rolled his eyes, and huffed, “Of course, books would be your priority.”
You shoved him off playfully, “Merlin knows I needed to brush up on transfiguration. Another ‘P’ and I’ll have to take a summer course with Minnie or something.”
“It still baffles me you’re so bad at it. How did you even manage to turn into Vixen?” Remus asked as he finally let go of your hand.
You shrugged, “It wasn’t as hard as turning a pot into an animal…” Then you turned to the side, towards Sirius’ backpack. “You’ve got parchment there?” He nodded and you plopped down from the bed and towards the floor, pulling his bag open and looking for a piece, taking it out and placing it on the floor. “Rem, you have that letter from my mum I lent you last week?”
“Front pocket of my bag,” he said, luckily the house elves always brought his bag to him when he was at the infirmary since they knew he liked to read when he got sick. Sirius leaned over Remus and pulled his bag from the floor, to pass it.
“Ouch,” Remus complained as he felt the weight of his friend on top of him, he had to look to the side to try and hide the blush threatening to appear on his neck.
“Sorry, Moony,” Sirius said carelessly and continued with his task, taking the letter and passing it over to you. You hit Sirius on the leg reproachingly. “Oi!”
“He’s still sore, don’t be a prick!” you scolded him, and then took the letter in your hands. “But thank you.”
“Yeah, don’t be a prick!” Moony repeated, just to fuck with Sirius who pressed his hand onto Moony’s leg in retaliation.  They went back to bickering, but their words slowly faded into the background as you opened the letter and started analysing the handwriting.  You didn’t hear when Remus offered you a quill and didn’t notice when the two boys exchanged looks with each other at your blatant ignoring of their calls. At some point, they had both just stared at you and at how concentrated you looked as you inspected the letter and the empty parchment. You took a pencil from Sirius’ bag and started scribbling on the back of your mum’s letter.
“Is she–?” Sirius asked Remus as he leaned a little closer.
“Yeah, I think she’s trying to make that fake letter she owes Minnie.”
Sirius turned to Remus with a frown, “How do you know about that? I didn’t know until hours ago.”
“She told me when it happened,” the taller boy responded with a shrug.
Sirius raised his eyebrows and nodded, you and Remus always seemed to be on the same wavelength when it came to those kinds of things. Just like you and him seemed to always be on the same wavelength when it came to pranks. He discovered he didn’t mind it at all, he’d never been jealous of you hanging out with Remus in the same way he had been of you hanging out with Tom, or… of Remus kissing Alice in front of his face.
That, he realised the more he thought about it, probably had something to do with the fact that he had somehow developed something akin to a crush on his best friend. A crush that he couldn’t and wouldn’t act upon. Perhaps he’d have to tell you about it at some point, but he was terrified that you would leave him if you found out he not only liked boys, but he liked one boy in particular. Because of course, you being you, would probably be supportive of his freshly discovered bisexuality, at least until you found out about his crush. Sirius didn’t like the idea of you being jealous of Moony, let alone when you were literally cuddling them both every other night.
He had never missed Hogwarts when he was with the Potters, but he might start missing it now, especially when he knew once you came back, he’d have the perfect excuse –that being the entire time you were away from them– to get back into cuddling you, even as Pads. Sometimes he couldn’t help but think what it would be like to cuddle Remus without turning into Padfoot, of being able to use his hands and touch, but he always tried to drive those thoughts away from his mind. He should be thinking of touching you, his girlfriend, not his best friend.
You were still looking at the two parchments when you wrote a few more runes onto the empty one and took out your wand. “Gemino littera nummularius,” you whispered.  Suddenly words started to appear on the empty parchment, along with the delicate golden edges of your House’s stationary sets. The parchment became paler and less crinkled and now the two sheets of paper looked like they had come from the exact same batch, except they had different wording on them. Suddenly, you stood up, holding the two pieces in your hands. “Can you tell which one’s real and which one’s fake?” you asked. Sirius took the letters in his hands and started reading the contents. “No wait,” you said as you pulled them from his hands, “You can’t read the contents or you’ll know.”
Sirius gave you a look and took them from your hands again, carefully inspecting the text and the words, the wording you’d used and the way the letters had been accommodated on the paper, he then passed them over to Remus. Their hands brushed over each other for a second too long and you squint your eyes at it. Turning to check on Remus’ expression who looked as calm as ever and then at Sirius, who had gone straight to take your hand in his, fidgeting with your nails like he had done in the morning.
You were staring at your hands intertwined with Sirius’ when Remus spoke. “I think it’s a fantastic falsification,” he said as he passed them over to you. “Cannot even feel the traces of the magic you used.”
“I used ancient runes to dispel it, as long as she reads it inside the castle, she’ll interpret it as if the magic came from around her rather than from within it,” you explained. “Took me so long because I couldn’t remember the right runes that had been used for the castle”.
“I can barely tell the difference,” Sirius agreed. “You’re more than set, Kit.”
“Thank you,” you said with a smile and a small bow from your head, and bent one of the letters in four and placed it in your pocket while you handed the other back to Remus.
He took it and placed it on the nightstand, Sirius gave him a curious look, “It’s for the map,” he explained.
“Mom’s really good at the Homonculous Charm. I asked her to give some details on how to use it, and Remus has been working on his own version to use on the map. That’s how I knew about the runes, we had to do some digging in the library to be able to match his charm with the ancient magic that was used to build the castle.”
“You know, if you used your time to practise transfiguration instead of researching werewolves and mapmaking, you would have already become top of the class,” Sirius teased.
You scoffed with a smile at that, “Remind me who convinced me we had to go back to the forbidden section before the next moon to do –and I quote– a little extra research?”
“No idea,” he said, with a small smile playing on his lips.
You were about to say something as a reply when you heard someone clear their throat by the door. You turned to find McGonagall. Both you and Sirius were sitting on Remus’ bed and Sirius had his hand on your leg, which was probably what caused her to react in the way she did. It was not helping your case, you didn’t even notice when Sirius’ hands came back to you, it felt so natural you didn’t even consider it would be perhaps too much PDA for the general public.
“Minn–” you started but quickly corrected yourself, “Professor McGonagall!” You then pulled a charmer’s smile, and feigning concern you asked, “Are you alright? Madam Pomfrey left some time ago, she said she had some things to tend to…”
You knew McGonagall was there because she was looking for you and not because she was looking for Pomfrey, but you still had to play the part. Both Sirius and Remus eyed each other then, both seeming impressed by your charming abilities. You may have had no fairy powers, but you had kept the right amount of charm.
“I’m actually here looking for you,” she said. “I thought perhaps you’d come to check on Mr. Lupin since he was feeling down.”
“Oh, well, I came to get my hand fixed,” you said as you pulled your hand up. “I tripped in the morning and it had been bothering me, then I spotted Rem and decided to stay around a little longer.”
“Of course,” she said with a nod, seeming at ease now that she knew where you had been, you wondered what she would think if she knew you had been first playing with a werewolf and then cuddling your boyfriend. The small frown that had just disappeared from her face would probably appear again and you might have gotten detention for the rest of the school year. “Did you get that–” she looked at the two boys slightly uncomfortable, as if she wasn’t sure how to say it, “letter, from your mother?”
Sirius held back a laugh and Remus kicked him forcefully from underneath the covers. You avoided turning to them, in case you two would end up laughing and instead focused your gaze on Minnie. “Yes,” you said quietly and stood from the bed, taking it out of your pocket as you walked over to her.
She took the parchment and carefully opened it, appearing a pair of glasses out of thin air and putting them on as she pulled the parchment closer to her face. The three of you tensed as she read, the moment seemed interminable as her eyes went over each and every one of the lines in the letter. Once she was done she smiled, evidently pleased. She bent the note again, placed it on her belt and nodded towards you. “Excellent, the first reunion is today before the train leaves, I’ll see you in my classroom in about 15 minutes?”
You nodded, “Of course, Professor.”
She nodded one last time and left the place, shutting the door as she walked towards her classroom. You turned to the boys with a triumphant smile “It worked!” you said, moving your hands up and down in a sort of victory dance.
“But now you actually have to go to the reunion,” Remus said and you groaned in response, letting yourself fall on Sirius dramatically. Your arms over his shoulders and your head leaning close to his neck. He could feel your breath against him and he seemed to be rather pleased with himself when he moved one of his hands to play with your hair.
“You’ll learn useful stuff,” he said with a cheeky smile. And you huffed in response, a small pout in your face.
“You think it’ll be too long?” you asked.
“Probably,” Remus said, “I mean she’ll at least give you enough time to catch the train.”
You sighed as you stood straight again, Sirius had kept his hands on you until your weight was fully supported by your feet. “Means I won’t see you till next year,” you said then, and leaned closer to Remus, leaning in for a hug and stopping yourself just seconds before your body crashed onto his, “It won’t hurt too much if I hug you will it?”
Remus couldn’t hide the small smile that came to him, only biting his lips to stop it from making it bigger as he shook his head and opened his arms for you to hug him. “Merry Christmas, Rem!” you said as you felt his arms tighten around you.
“Merry Christmas, Little Witch,” he whispered. You didn’t pull away from the hug until he loosened his grip around your back, and he only did it because he knew you had to go to the reunion, if it had been his call, he would have hugged you until you lost your train and night fell.
As you pulled back you sighed and looked at the two boys with a resigned smile, “Off to learn adult witch potions.”
“I don’t get a Merry Christmas hug?” Sirius teased.
“You’ll hug me all you want on the train ride, Pups,” you replied with a smile.
“But I want a hug now.”
“Hug Moony then,” you joked.
“I just might,” Sirius teased back.
“Go ahead, I’m giving you permission,” you said, “I mean, he might elbow you for trying but I’d love to see that.”
“That’s so mean!” Sirius complained. Remus was looking at the interaction with his lips parted, a mixture of amused at your back-and-forth flirting and horrified that he might actually have to react in some sort of way if Sirius hugged him.
You leaned closer and placed a chaste kiss to Sirius’ lips, one that left him a little surprised but satisfied nonetheless, and excused yourself.
“Hold up!” Remus said when you were near the middle of the room.
“Yeah?” You asked as you turned to look at the two boys.
“You’re not going back to your room, are you?”
You shook your head, the plan was to see Remus and then catch the carriages, and now it was to go to Minnie’s reunion and then catch the carriages, there was no time for you to go to your room whatsoever, if only you had your hands on a time turner.
“Take this then,” he said as he threw a balled-up sweater your way, “It’ll be cold on the way to the train,” he said motioning to the window, there were small snowflakes slowly falling from the sky, a bit of snow already pilling up on one of the corners of the stool.
You gave a wary look at Sirius who just shrugged. Remus’ sweaters are fine but Minho’s are a definite no, got it.
“Thanks!” you said as you pulled the warm wool sweater over your shoulders and waved the boys another quick goodbye.
The same little thought that had consumed you back on the day of the friendly game with Neil and Nox came back. It must have been due to the smell of the pack, right? Were you seeing things that weren’t there? Or perhaps, you were blind to things that actually were…
“Sly-sprite!” Tom said as he placed his arm over your shoulders and started to walk alongside you, “Ready for shopping?”
You smiled when you spotted him and nodded, “Yup! Beth?”
He nodded, “We’re walking to Diagon and doing all the shopping there, she already has a list of all the shops she wants to visit, you?”
You hummed in response, “Not quite, but I do have a list of all the things I want to get,” you responded, “Or at least the names of the people I want to get stuff for… What about muggle London?”
“For that, I’ve got the list,” he said as he pulled out a list of Muggle shops, “Mary helped me pick them out, she said they were some of the coolest shops in the city.”
You read over the titles, remembering some of the shops you had visited during the summer, at least 2 of the big stores you remembered walking into were on Tom’s list. You walked with Tom the rest of the way to Minnie’s classroom and he looked at you confused as you waved goodbye to walk inside.
“Why are you going to McGonagall’s Classroom?”
“Tell you about it when we’re shopping,” you said with a wink and walked inside.
Your “SexEd” class wasn’t as tedious as you thought it would be. Maggie had always had a sort of charm while teaching her classes and the fact that this one was regarding a rather delicate subject, wasn’t an exception. And to your surprise, Maggie didn’t exclusively teach you preventive methods (the potion you asked about) but she also gave you recipes for special potions for the day after. She did mention that they weren’t the best option, since they were pretty strong in flavour and a bit more complicated to brew, but that they were excellent in case of an emergency.
She also mentioned that in case any of you ever required that potion, she always kept a few in her office and that you were more than welcome to ask for it. She also mentioned you’d be brewing batches of all the potions she mentioned along with her and gave you the list of ingredients you would need if you wanted to participate in said classes. It was a rather long list, sectioned by the 4 different potions that you would be brewing: 2 contraceptive ones (one for males and one for females), the next day potion and one that –and she refused to elaborate much more on this one– would be extremely complicated to brew and exclusive for the kind of emergencies that hopefully no one in the group would ever have to face. She didn’t mention the fact that said potion was still in debate by the ministry since it wasn’t precisely approved, but it wasn’t illegal either.
You realised why the reunion had to be that day, so the older students who didn’t want to discuss such matters with their families could get the ingredients necessary during the Christmas break. You were damn lucky the spell you had used on your falsified letter was good enough to trick her, McGonagall might be one of the sharpest witches you’d ever met, having planned the entire set of “off course” classes to help last year’s students while still keeping them relatively secret was an immense planning job. If Minnie had ever been part of the Marauders, they might have never ended up in detention at all.
She had also gone on and talked about other interesting portions, variations of Polyjuice that could permanently alter your body, and explained how the contraceptive stuff would have to be used in those cases.
Overall, the class was insanely interesting, and Minnie had done a fantastic job at handling all the questions from the students, leaving every single student satisfied with their choice of going. The moment you stepped out of the classroom, Lucas and Teddy were over you.
“How the hell did you convince Maggie to let you in?” Lucas asked.
“I… well… It wasn’t quite my intention to end in this class in the first place.”
“You’re kidding!” Teddy said. “Not even the elder Gryffindors talked about the secret classes when we asked.”
“Yeah… I was covering for Pads and Prongs and I had to improvise to entertain McGonagall, let’s just say I ended up asking some rather embarrassing questions, a letter from my mom later, she told me to come.”
“So a letter from my parents was all it took?” Teddy said.
“Highly doubt your parents would have given you such a letter,” Lucas retorted with a short laugh as he nudged Teddy.
“Well, who said it had to be legitimate?”
“No way in hell you can cheat Professor McGonagall like that!” Lucas said, “Remember when Johnny Ackley tried to do it? He was on detention for 3 whole months the moment he handed that fake letter about skipping COMC because he was allergic to Niffler hair, and it was a good fake, I saw it.”
You couldn’t even hide the small smirk that appeared on your lips, the fact that you had actually done it made you feel pretty damn capable. You might not be particularly good at Transfigurations, but you were exceptionally good at charms and combined spells, your letter being perceived as legit by Minnie was proof enough. You walked all the way to the carriages with a very self-satisfied expression on your face, while you idly talked to the boys about the potions and then about the classificatory for the Quidditch Regional Championships. Apparently, the Holyhead Harpies would have their first match against the Chudley Cannons which had both boys pretty excited since the Harpies were Teddy’s favourite team and Lucas had a huge crush on Meridia Weekes, the Cannons’ fastest chaser.
Eventually, you got to the horseless carriages and took separate ways, you rode towards the train with the girls, Lily and Mary were telling you all about Muggle Christmas, and apparently, it wasn’t that different from what Wizards did. Of course, they didn’t have games of exploding snap, exploding Christmas crackers or floating decorations but they did have the carols, and the presents and they even had their own version of Father Christmas, although according to the girls he had been adopted as the mascot of some greedy soda conglomerate.
You were walking behind the girls on the train when you felt a hand pulling you towards one of the compartments. You gasped and pulled your wand out, ready to hex whoever had pulled you in such a crass manner when you spotted Sirius with a sly smirk at the end of your wand.
“Bloody hell, Puppy! I almost hexed you,” you said as you huffed and placed your wand back in your pocket.
“Worth it,” he said as he leaned over to give you a soft peck on the lips that left you startled.
You shook your head with an amused smile as the two of you sat next to each other, “This will be your first official train ride with the Marauders,” he told you. “Welcome to our compartment.”
“Moony’s missing, and I’m pretty sure you cannot claim ownership of a compartment.”
He raised his eyebrows at you and crouched down on the floor, making a gesture with his hand for you to follow, you complied, once down there he used Lumos to brighten the space under the seat you had been on and pointed inside. There, right in the middle, there were 4 pairs of initials carved onto the wood: R.L, S.B, J.P. and P.P.
“I’m pretty sure that’s vandalism,” you said as you stared at the neatly carved letters, “and that still doesn’t make the carriage yours.”
“It does though, we’ve hexed it, unless we invite you in, you’ll end up with an awful headache.”
“Sirius!” you admonished, but he didn’t even flinch at your tone and handed over a small hairpin.
“What’s this for?”
“You’re an honourable member, you should be free to enter as you please.” You raised an eyebrow at that. “Go ahead, carve your name before the trolly witch comes over.”
You shook your head and gently let yourself lay on the floor and crawled halfway under the seat to start carving your name, you’d taken Sirius’ wand from his grasp while he sat in the corner of the opposite seat, looking out through the windows to make sure the Trolly Witch wouldn’t show up out of nowhere.
You were struggling with the blunt end of the pin as you rubbed it back and forth over the wooden plate, right above Sirius and Remus’ initials. You weren’t sure why you had chosen that precise spot but the wood seemed supple enough to actually let you dig through it. After you’d gotten to the “x” your arm was already tired and you decided to skip the “e” altogether and replace it with a capital “N”.
Sirius, who was supposed to be on the lookout, was most definitely not looking at the small bit of lower back skin that had appeared as your shirt –and Remus’ sweater– raised slightly due to the way you had to crawl under the seat or the way you were moving your hips to try and reach the wall better.
It’s not that his throat was dry and he was not imagining things because that would be the kinds of things a horny teenager would do and he was well above that, he was not some random pervert. He was merely glancing at you to make sure you were alright and you hadn’t gotten stuck or hurt as you continued with your task. Or at least that is what he kept telling himself as he stared.
You were just carving the last line of the N when you heard someone clear their throat by the door. You froze in your place since you had identified the voice instantly.
“Is there something wrong, darling?” Seraphina asked.
You wiggled your way out of there and made sure to wipe off the sawdust from the end of the pin as you stood up, your hair slightly amiss as you brushed over it with both of your hands, “Yes, I was just looking for this,” you said as you showed her the pin with a smile. “Do you need anything?”
She gave you a wary look and then nodded, accepting your excuse, your smile grew just a little bit more after that. “I was looking for you to hand this over,” she said as she pulled a book from her robes and pushed it into your hands. It was a dark navy book, so dark it looked almost black, and it had silver indents on the corners. It had no name on the cover.
You looked at it and then back at her, “Homework?”
She nodded, “I believe it will be useful to you during the break, read attentively and practice every day.”
You gulped and nodded, “Yes, Professor.”
“Well then, I’ll leave you to your thing,” she said as she gave a rather stern look at Sirius who squirmed in his seat uncomfortably. Did she see me staring? He wondered, the fire in Seraphina’s eyes answered the question for him and this time he was the one who gulped. She raised her eyebrows at him slightly and Sirius averted her gaze uncomfortably.
You looked at the interactions with furrowed brows but decided to ask Sirius about it later. “Merry Christmas,” you said as she left the carriage. Once she was gone you turned back to look at your boyfriend. “So much for a lookout.”
He huffed in response and kneeled down to check on what you’d done as you handed the hairpin and his wand back to him. There, written neatly over his and Remus’ initials read “VixN”. He smiled at the spelling and went over the last line of the “N” again, to make sure it was deep enough to not fade with time.
“How did you not see her coming?” you asked as he pulled himself out and sat beside you, wiping the pin from the pain residue and placing it back in his pocket.
“Let’s just say I was distracted,” he said as he averted your gaze.
You narrowed your eyes at him after that, “Distracted? Sirius!” You reproached. “Whatever the hell could have distracted you so much?”
He swallowed, “Your jeans look really good.”
You drew in a sharp breath, “Sirius Black! You were looking at my ass!” Sirius shrugged, a bit of an apologetic look in his eyes as did, and was about ready to apologise when a small smirk appeared on your face.
“What?”
“Nothing,” you said with a shrug, as you turned your gaze away, the smirk firmly planted on your face still.
“Starshine?” he pressed. It was proving really hard not to laugh at him.
You turned back to face him and smiled, leaning over to press a hand on his thigh and whisper in his ear. “I also think your jeans look really good on you.”
His eyes opened wide as he turned to you, but his expression slowly shifted into a smirk, mirroring your. “What if I tell you I had to go straight into the bathroom after you left our room in the morning? And it was not because I wanted to evacuate.”
It was your turn to swallow, and you inched your hand up just a little bit in response to his taunting, enough to fill the slight tent in his pants your little talk had caused, Sirius’ breath hitched as he felt your hand on him and he was about to crash his lips into yours when the door of the compartment was hastily opened and James walked in. Sirius turned to him with visible annoyance and you just sighed as you let your head fall on Sirius’ shoulder, your breath fanning against his neck, since his body was still turned to yours. When you realised the tent was still rather evident, you took your bag and placed it over his lap.
“I need your help!” James said as he sat across the two of you, his hair was a mess –more so than normal– and he looked incredibly agitated.
Sirius looked at him with an annoyed look that James ignored completely. Rummaging his hands through his hair as he bobbed one of his legs up and down.
You sighed audibly and turned your head to look at James, still leaning against Sirius, though your hand was in his, rather than on his leg now.
“James I–” Sirius started but was hastily interrupted.
“I was with Lily.”
“Congratulations! Why don’t you go back with her?”
“Sirius!” You reproached softly and he took a deep breath, allowing James to continue with whatever predicament he was most definitely gonna lay down for the two of you now.
“We were in the bathroom, snogging and–”
“Merlin, I should not be hearing this,” you said as you stood up but Sirius pulled you down in an instant.
“You’re not going anywhere, you promised hugs, and I won’t see you in days.”
“But James is–”
“Don’t care. James doesn’t care either,” he said as he eyed his friend in a rather stern way, “Right?”
James, ever so mortified, shook his head. “I actually think your input could be as helpful as Sirius’,” he said as he tilted his head just a bit.
You sighed and then turned back to look at him, “Fine then, continue.”
“Okay, so I was snogging Lily and things started to heat up–” You sighed again, you honestly thought the most awkward conversation you’d have that day would be with Minnie, but you had been so very wrong. “And then you know she reached down and grabbed my–”
“James!” you spat.
“Hear me out,” he pleaded.
“I do not need to hear James Potter’s Harrad Experiment.”
“The what?”  He asked, confused. You sighed and turned to Sirius who looked just as confused. Where was Remus when you needed him?
“Never mind,” you responded as you shook your head and sighed again.
James looked at you with an apprehensive sight and then turned to Sirius as he continued on. “She grabbed my thing.”
“So?” Sirius asked, he was pretty impassive, this was so not the first time James interrupted him while he was with you and at this point, he was already plotting to do it when he was with Lily to return the favour.
“Well, little James started to wake up and–”
“Merlin, what have I done to deserve this?” you muttered under your breath as you closed your eyes for a second as you started to contemplate the life choices that had led you to this moment.
“I ran out before she noticed.”
That snapped you out of your misery, “You did what?!?”
Sirius looked at him with an amused expression, apparently, he wouldn’t even have to sabotage James, he was doing a damn good job himself.
“I ran away when–”
“No, no!” you stopped him from talking with a raised hand, “You’re telling me you left Lily in the bathroom alone when she tried to initiate something?”
“I shouldn’t have? I could go get her…”
“She’s still in the bathroom?!”
James shrugged in response. “Mate, I love you, but you’re an idiot,” Sirius said as he moved his hand over your thighs. “If Lily was initiating things, and if she was the one to place her hand there then–”
“She probably wanted to feel your reaction, James,” you completed.
“Does that mean she–”
“She was expecting to feel your boner, you saphead,” Sirius responded matter of factly.
“And you left the poor girl all hot and bothered in the bathroom,” you added with a sigh as you reclined back in your seat and placed your hand over your temple, genuinely trying to think of a solution to James’ little self-crafted issue. “Had you never made out with anyone before?”
“Well I–”
“James?” You asked, more surprised than bothered at this point.
“What about that girl in 4th grade? The cute Ravenclaw,” Sirius offered.
“We kissed a couple of times but we never actually, you know,” he said the last bit with a slight tilt of his head.
You let out a short breath in disbelief as you leaned your elbows over your legs.
“What?” Sirius asked.
“Wormmy’s had more action than Prongs,” you said as you nodded, assimilating the newfound information. Sirius held back a laugh and turned to look at his friend, but you beat him to speak. “No wonder you’re always so eager, buzzing about the entire castle. You’ve been starving yourself!”
“I’m pretty well fed, thank you,” James said with a frown.
Sirius eyes him with incredulity, “She doesn’t mean that kind of food.”
“You need to talk to her,” you said simply. “Explain your situation, I’m sure she’ll understand, it’s Lily Evans the one we’re talking about after all.”
“But then what should I do?” He asked.
“Well you’d have to–” Sirius started.
“Nope!” You stopped, “I do not want to hear this conversation!” you said as you motioned to stand up but Sirius held you in place yet again.
“Puppy!” you whined, a small frown filling your face.
“We’ll charm you out of the conversation,” he offered. “Stay?” he added with a small pout that could only be compared to Puppy eyes and you nodded with a small roll of your eyes, pulling out the book Nightshade had given you and accommodating yourself to rest your head on Sirius’ leg as he charmed you.
You read for a while, sometimes getting distracted by James’ very expressive face reacting to whatever the hell Sirius was explaining to him, at some point, without even realising you fell asleep. When you woke up again, the daylight was gone. Sirius was playing with your hair absentmindedly as he stared out through the window. You stared at him for some seconds, just admiring the way his hair cascaded over the sides of his head. His eyes looked grey today, reflecting the grey skies left after the sun started to fade. You stirred and he turned to you.
“You’re awake,” he said with a smile as he turned to you. “We’re pretty close to arriving now, can’t be more than a few minutes.”
“I slept for most of the trip?” you asked with a gasp. He nodded calmly and you looked around, “James left?”
“He went to talk things out with Lily,” he said.
“Oh, after the masterclass you gave him?” you teased and he nudged you.
Then he shrugged with a smile, “What can I say, I’ve got some rather interesting talents.”
You shoved him lightly as you smiled, sitting up to place the book you had been reading on your backpack just to realise Sirius had already done it for you. You smiled and accommodated next to him again, “You’ll send me an owl when James tells you how it went?”
“Thought you didn’t want to hear about his Harrad Experiment,” he teased.
“Not the dirty details!” you replied with a scoff. “Just if he fixed things with Lils.”

A/N: The original joke was meant to be “I don't want to hear fifty shades of James Potter,” but the reference didn’t match the time setting so The Harrad Experiment had to do. Love, Lils xx

Of All People - Sirius Black x Reader
~ 1.7k words
Now let’s be clear, you loved your brother, but some deep, shameful part of you resented him for the attention he attracted. Your parents had instilled posh pureblood ideologies into your heads from young ages. Luckily, you were able to see through their bullshit. Severus wasn’t so lucky.
He brought that thinking into Hogwarts, and was ecstatic when both you and him were sorted into Slytherin, where he took no time at all befriending other air headed Slytherins who thought the same. This, along with the simple fact of his existence, brought the full wrath of the marauders down on your brother, which also trickled down to you.
The marauders would endlessly bully and tease your brother. Being the dimwit he was, he always decides to try and fight back, ultimately failing every time. They would cast small hexes on you in the hallways, just constant, small annoyances. Eventually, it seemed as though Snape wasn’t enough of a challenge for the marauders, which caused them to turn fully to you. Now you were the one getting harassed. Constant jabs at the way you looked, filth about you thinking the same way as Severus, and the never ending comments about the amount of foundation you wore. What kind of guy even noticed that stuff?
To be quite frank, it sucked. You were stuck with a shitty brother whom you loved, and a group of boys who bullied you for that very reason. It was exhausting, which meant that you valued every moment you could find yourself at peace- like right now. You were sitting underneath a tree near Black Lake. It was the first of the warmer days at Hogwarts, so you blended in with the multitudes of students soaking up the sun. You hoped this blending would be enough to allow you some quality time away from the marauders.
You leaned back your head against the bark of the tree. There was a gentle wind blowing across your face, a gentle buzz of voices coming from the other students outside, and a heavy liquid falling down your face. Wait… what? You opened your eyes quickly and rubbed at your face. It felt as though sticky black tar had been dumped on your head.
Though the substance made it hard to see, you could hear the roaring laughter of James, Peter, Remus, and Sirius. “What the hell? What is your issue? You couldn’t leave it for one day?” You questioned. You had cleared the goo enough clear your eyesight, and could see the amused faces of the boys. Sirius had the biggest grin stretching across his face, “Aw, we wouldn’t do that to you. You simply look too adorable with black sludge covering your face. Honestly, it looks better than that makeup you cake on everyday.”
You could punch him for the look on his face. You had already been having a crappy day, as your parents had sent you a letter reminding you that the summer holiday was approaching, and they expected you to not forget your manners like you seem so inclined to do.
Basically, if you didn’t listen to every word they said, you were going to “get straightened out” like your mother always said. The letter was fresh in your mind, and with it, a need to punch something. Luckily for you, there were four perfect targets standing right in front of you.
You took a step towards James, the closest of them to you. He looked slightly confused, but taunted you nevertheless, “You coming in for a kiss? Sorry, I don’t French with snakes.” That was all you needed. You reared back your fist, and punched James Potter square in the gut. He doubled over in pain, and you swear you’ve never felt so much joy. Peter and Remus rushed over to him right away. Sirius looked at you in shock and took you by the shoulders. “You’re such a bitch! I knew all of the Snapes were the same. Just leave Hogwarts! We don’t need another bunch of rancid, pureblood twats spitting nonsense around here!” He was screaming in your face, and everything about what he was saying infuriated you.
“Excuse me? Have you ever thought of asking about what I believe instead of assuming I’m just like my brother? I don’t believe in any of that shit! And what’s even worse, I have to suffer the consequences of being a half decent person all the time!” Sirius looked confused at your last sentence, so you rolled your eyes and casted a simple spell to clean the liquid off of your face, along with the thick layer of foundation you had applied that morning. Underneath, a giant scar cut along your cheek. It was relatively new, so the skin around it was red and puckered.
Sirius sucked in a quick breath. The other marauders had stopped cooing over James, and looked to you with shocked expressions. “Oh Merlin, I’m so sorry-“ you cut Sirius off. “Just stop, I thought you of all people would know what I was going through, but I guess not.” You started walking away, but when you heard the footsteps of Sirius behind you, you sped up to a run.
The footsteps behind you also increased in their pace, and a large hand grasped your wrist. You turned to look at Sirius. Tears had started forming in your eyes, but you wiped them away in futile the hope that would stop Sirius from seeing them. Sirius didn’t speak right away, instead he chose to study your face. You squirmed, under his scrutiny, you just felt ugly. Your red rimmed eyes, stuffy nose, and large scar now visible. You were heavily considering bolting away again until he spoke up, “I’m sorry. I- I never even considered that you might not be like your family. And you’re right, out of anyone, I should have been the one to give you the benefit of the doubt.” You looked back up at him, his eyes seemed genuinely apologetic, but that didn’t mean you were letting him off the hook just yet.
“Yeah, you should be sorry. You and your cronies have been ruining my life here at Hogwarts. My one escape from my family. And you’ve been taking the absolute piss out of my brother. I know how he is, but he’s still my brother. Talk to me again when you show me you want to change.” With that, you pulled your wrist from his grip and walked back to your dorm. You really wanted to give him a second chance, partly because you had been harboring a small crush on him since first year. But before you could even let yourself consider that, he had to prove that he wanted to change. You sat in your dorm thinking about that very scenario, wishing, hoping, praying, that he would make the effort.
And in the next few weeks, he did. There were certainly the occasional taunts thrown towards your brother in the halls, but you supposed you could live with that. There were no more cruel pranks aimed towards you or Severus, and Sirius had even made James, Peter, and Remus write out apology notes and deliver them to you personally. You had probably gotten way too much enjoyment out of that one.
As you ate in the Great Hall, surrounded by a few acquaintances, you felt a tap on your shoulder. Behind you was a nervous looking Sirius. “Would you like to come over and eat with us? I swear, no bad intentions. We really want to get to know you.” His voice was much smaller than you had ever heard it. You weighed your options back and forth, but with the genuine effort he had been putting into righting his wrongs, there was no way you could deny him. “I would be delighted to.”
His face lit up at that, and you could see his confidence instantly repair itself. He led you over to where he and the other marauders sat, guiding you by placing his hand on the small of your back. The simple act caused your face to redden, but if he noticed, he didn’t say anything. Once you sat down at the table, everything was surprisingly normal. The other boys made one more quick apology each, but then the conversation quickly migrated to more light hearted topics.
“Okay, James,” it was hard to speak through your laughter, “You went up to this fifty year old dude, and insisted he was your mom?” The entire table burst out in laughter. “It was an intense game of truth or dare, I had ten galleons riding on it!” Remus smirked at him, “Yeah, but you still ended up losing,” he then looked to you, “You want to know why, Y/n?” You looked at him nodding, as you heard Peter groan, “Don’t do this mate.” Remus only spared him a glance as he launched back into his story, “So the truth or dare game was down to just Peter and James, and neither of them would back out. That’s when Sirius came out with this absolutely vile looking plate of chicken. It was cold, half raw, and definitely spoiled. We dared James and Peter to eat it for the win. James backed out immediately, but Peter ate it and puked for weeks.”
You had been drinking pumpkin juice as Remus told his story. But once he reached the part where Peter at the chicken, you lost it. Laughter spilled from your lips, and juice came up out of your nose. This only made the laughter at the table increase ten fold. You realized that you were receiving from worried glances from the students around you, but the laughter clouded your mind and you couldn’t bring yourself to care. You finally managed to calm yourself, and Sirius handed you a napkin of while wiping away a tear. You wiped away the juice, and caught sight of the watch on your wrist as you did so.
“Shit, I was supposed to be working on a Potions paper due tomorrow! I’ve gotta be off, this was lovely though!” You hugged Peter who sat right next to you, the boy looked a bit shocked, but satisfied nonetheless. You saw the pouty look emerge in Sirius’ eyes, so you leaned across the table and pecked him on the cheek. His face immediately blossomed into a lovely pink hue as the boys shouted out variations of, “You’re in!” “When’s the wedding?” and “Can I be the best man?” You smiled as you walked away from them, hoping that you’d be invited to sit with them again tomorrow.

Wolfstar's!Child - Mama Raised a Little Bitch
Parents!Sirius Black & Remus Lupin x Teenager!Reader (ft. Jegulily)
Reader's gender and Hogwarts house is unspecified
This is my first work of the series - if you have any suggestions or requests, let me know!
~~~
Fucked was not a strong enough word to describe how totally and utterly screwed you were now.
When you had first gotten your Hogwarts letter, your uncle Regulus had fallen to his knees (metaphorically) to beg you not to be like James, or your papa Sirius. Remus had joined in too, with both of them citing that ‘Sirius and James were bad enough’ as their justification.
With a promise you had intended to adhere to, you departed to Hogwarts.
In your defence, you believed you would never even come close to breaking it - you had been going strong for four years now, dedicating yourself to academia instead of continuing the Marauders’ legacy, much to the horror of your godfather and papa.
They had made a big deal about ‘disowning you’, opting to name Fred and George Weasley as their heirs, who were more than happy to accept. You believed it to be a joke. For the most part.
However, now there was a blot on your record - a spill of crimson Chardonnet on a white bedsheet if you will.
A blot that came in the form of Hera O’Donnell.
With her snide remarks and condescending attitude, she strutted around Hogwarts like she were the headmaster herself - as a lioness scoured a savanna for a deer to sink its fangs in to, she paroused her peers, searching for the easiest one to prey upon.
You were her chosen doe.
In her skewed vision, you wore shoes too big for you to fill - the weight of the Lupin-Black left you crushed by expectations and drowning in inadequacy, waves of failure washing over your head and coating the inside of your lungs with a thick layer of incompetence.
But your head remained firmly above water.
Despite her taunts and jibes being fruitless at first, Hera had hunted you down and separated you from your pack, and now, her teeth finally began to pierce your skin.
 Logically, you should have informed someone. You were not alone - your dad and papa were forever on your side, along with your godfather James, godmother Lily, Uncle Regulus and all of your aunts and uncles, composed of your parents’ Hogwarts friends.
But Hera awoke a different part of you. Something more spiteful. Something more primal.
Reporting it would not be as satisfying. As gratifying. But revenge would be.
If anyone asked you about what had happened to Hera O’Donnell, you would simply claim something along the lines of how ‘her appearance had improved with the addition of a skunk tail.’ It amused your peers, undeniably, but the staff not so much.
Even as your head of house sat you down and informed you of the consequences of transfiguring someone like that and the numerous procedures that Hera was undergoing at St. Mongo’s, having been transferred there for more specialist care, you could not find it in yourself to care.
However, you absolutely did find it in yourself to care when a crimson envelope fell into your bowl of cereal the next morning.
You had expected your parents to be informed of the incident, naturally. But a howler? That you had not. Staring at the envelope, Hera’s words swarmed your mind. What if your parents now saw you just as Hera had?
With a quiet sigh escaping your lips, and sympathetic glances from your friends, you opened the envelope, hoping to get it over sooner rather than later. The voice of Sirius Black erupted from the envelope, filling the entire Great Hall.
‘MON AMOUR I AM SO PROUD OF YOU! TRANSFIGURING SOMEO- Oi, Rem, get off! I’m jus-’
‘I TOLD YOU OUR KID WOULD BE A FUCKIN’ GOD AT TRANSFIGURATION!’ Came a proud voice of Remus Lupin, cutting your papa off. ‘LOOKS LIKE YOUR PAPA AND GODFATHER NEED TO REINSTATE YOU AS HEIR AFTER ALL, SWEETHEART!’
As Remus declared that, two very loud and audible sighs of disappointment left the lips of Fred and George. The howler continued, and the sound of a door being slammed open was heard before the voice of James Potter joined in the chorus.
‘WERE NONE OF YOU GOING TO TELL ME THAT THEY TRANSFIGURED SOMEONE?!’ James cried out incredulously and overdramatically, however, he quickly forgot his dramatics in favour of the Marauders’ legacy.
‘NOW ALL YOU NEED TO DO, PRIY, IS TO BECOME ANIMAG-’ the sound of skin hitting skin rung out as Lily slapped a hand over James’ mouth to stop him from accidentally revealing that they were illegal animagi, despite the fact that they legally could register, but they all couldn’t be bothered. James and your papa said it was funnier this way.
‘Darling, as impressive as it is, please don’t transfigure anyone else,’ Lily chastised you gently. She had to at least give off the illusion that they were disciplining you, but you could hear the pride underlining her words and the smirk on her lips.
‘Now, I think it’s best we end this now, hm?’ came the still sophisticated voice of your uncle Reg. ‘Unless we want the entire Hogwarts populous to know James’ social security number.’ There was a chuckle from both the howler and the Hogwarts students at that remark.
‘I want you to know that I am proud of you. The family needed something a little more…Slytherin.’ Regulus remarked before the Howler burst into flames and tore itself up.
Silence filled the Great Hall as everyone took a moment to stare at you and process what had just happened. You looked up and your eyes caught Harry’s.
‘Good job,’ he mouthed at you, giving you a bright smile and a thumbs up from the Gryffindor table, beside a very peeved Fred and George.
Maybe you weren’t so alone or fucked after all.
Hi gorggg can i request an angst wolfstar fic where reader is kind of insecure of her placement within their relationship? like they’re both so close already and she’s a new addition so she kinda just feels out of place.
thank you for your amazing writing!! doing the world a favor❤️❤️❤️
Hey babes! Thanks SO much for the request 'cause truly, this is my shit. Now, I have to admit that I'm obsessed with these fics that have the same vibe by moonstruckme (poly!marauders) and super-clearlysaltybouquet (poly!wolfstar), so really, they're the blueprints/inspiration for this piece
also...I'm a whore for hurt/comfort. But you asked for ANGST...so I've given you only angst and no comfort. If you want comfort, you'll have to ask for a part two 💖 hope you love it!!! UPDATE: part two is here.
poly!wolfstar x fem!reader
CW: insecurities in relationship, feeling out of place, angst, hurt no comfort
It felt silly, really, to feel as sad as you did. You were currently sitting with two boys who you’ve been basically in love with for so long - two boys who have proclaimed to feel the same way about you - and on the outside you were sure this looked like a really lovely moment.
It just didn’t feel very lovely.
You didn’t think your discontentedness stemmed from anything the boys had done in particular, but even seeing the way they instinctively leaned closer to one another when anyone else approached the three of you left you feeling like an outsider looking in.
Maybe you were overthinking things. Maybe this was just your insecurities showing.
Or maybe…maybe…the three of you had made a mistake.
Maybe you weren’t cut out for polyamory; it certainly wasn’t for the weak, and it certainly wasn’t easy being the newest addition to the relationship.
You felt lost in most conversations, missing key information that inside jokes, years of friendship, and living together in the same tower - the same dorm room – led to. It felt as though they were fluent in a language you were only starting to pick up, and you didn’t want them to have to slow down for your sake. You didn’t want one of them to have to play the role of translator just for your benefit.
But then, why were you here?
You weren’t calm, relaxed, and witty like Remus. And you weren’t funny, exciting, and energetic like Sirius. They seemed to already balance each other out perfectly; maybe that’s why it felt so easy to fall into the role of a background character in your own relationship.
There was a brief ‘honeymoon’ period to your relationship; a time of public proclamations, handholding and PDA, dates, and spending every moment the three of you could together.
It was exciting.
And then it was less exciting – not to you, never to you - but it seemed to be that way for them.
Suddenly, it was dates and then them returning to their dorm – back home – without you. It was silent conversations with nothing but a look between the two of them that didn’t include you in the slightest. It was professors announcing partner projects, and them pairing together immediately which was fine, you told yourself, because you always partnered with Shelby anyway and that’s the way it had always been before.
Before.
This is the way it had always been before.
So, what were you doing here, exactly? What were you doing sitting on a blanket near the Black Lake with a book in your hand, while Sirius’ hand gripped around your ankle gently as Remus played with Sirius’ hair from where his head was laying in his lap, whilst Sirius and Remus talked about pranks, something funny that James said, and setting Peter up with some Hufflepuff girl?
You could tell you were being insecure… that you were overthinking this. You could tell you were being unreasonable because every so often, Sirius’ hand wouldn’t just be resting around your ankle, but he would squeeze it gently or rub his thumb across your Achilles tendon as if to convince himself that you were still here; still real. And every so often, Remus would move his gaze from where it laid on his own book or away from Sirius whom he was speaking with to look at you… check on you… confirm you were still there; still okay.
They cared. They had to, right? Cared that you were here? They wouldn’t have asked you otherwise, surely. They wouldn’t be making the effort to keep a hand on you, or their eyes on you. Surely, they would never have decided to open their relationship to include you in it.
But there it was…the truth.
It was their relationship. And they’d opened it up for you.
It should be the second part of that sentence that spoke to you the most, but in your mind and insecurities, the second seemed like the whole truth.
This was their relationship.
You shouldn’t be here.
“You still with us, dove?” Remus asked gently, distracting you from your musings. You suddenly realized that your book you were holding had fallen limply into your lap and you were staring unseeingly at the Black Lake. The boys had apparently paused their conversation to look at you, and Sirius’ thumb continued its tender caressing of the soft of your joint.
“Yeah.” You said, but it came out scratchy. You cleared your throat and tried again. “Yeah, sorry, I must have zoned out for a second.”
Sirius wiggled your ankle. “Daydreaming again, huh? About us I bet.” He teased with a wink.
You wiggled your ankle back at him as he leaned his head up from Remus’ lap, lips puckered in an ask (a demand) for a kiss.
This may be fleeting, so who were you to deny him?
You leaned forward on one hand, the other still holding your book, and pressed a kiss to the black-haired boy’s lips. He smiled into it and let you go all too willingly as you leaned back and tried to focus on your book.
The air around you began to feel heavy before the sound of distant thunder permeated your hearing.
“Damn, I guess Scottish weather isn’t very reliable, hm?” Remus said as he began packing up his things.
“It’s too bad.” Sirius murmured as he began to stand. “I was having a nice time out here with you two.”
You smiled back at him as he extended a hand to help you up.
“We’re still on for a study date tomorrow after dinner, right?” He asked you when you were at your full height.
“Yeah, sure. If you guys will have me.” You responded shyly, hating that you even hinted at any of your insecurities.
Sirius scoffed in response, but it was Remus who answered. “’Course we do, dove. We’re looking forward to it.”
You felt like you should be a little embarrassed at the way your heart fluttered hopefully at the sentiment, but you focused instead on Sirius’ smile and Remus’ soft eyes as the three of you made your way back to the castle.
Tumblr media
You hadn’t seen the boys at all today. You unfortunately slept through your alarm, making you miss breakfast completely; generally, you’d sit with Sirius, Remus, and their friends at the Gryffindor table. The two of them were no shows for lunch, so you opted to sit with Shelby instead. And it was Friday, and on Friday’s you didn’t share any classes with them, meaning by the time you made it to dinner, you’d not seen or heard from them at all.
“Hey James.” You commented as you headed towards James, Lily, and Regulus sitting at the Slytherin table. “Have you seen Rem or Sirius at all today?” Of course, you knew that he had, he lived with them.
James seemed to grimace slightly, but the expression was fleeting before he was smiling at you again.
He knew something you didn’t.
“The last I heard they were talking about your study date tonight.” He offered. You could tell he was putting on an extra show of enthusiasm for your benefit. You tried to be grateful for it, but it left a sour taste in your mouth, nonetheless.
“Okay, thank you.” You said as you turned to head to find a seat with Shelby.
“Oh, Y/N.” Lily called after you. “You’re welcome to sit with us, if you’d like?”
You grinned gratefully at Lily as she smiled kindly at you, even though your heart clenched on account of the clearly pitying offer. Was it as obvious to everyone else as it was to you that you were so out of place with Remus and Sirius? Could they all see it too?
“That’s alright. I’ll see you guys tomorrow!” You called as you walked away.
The boys weren’t avoiding you, were they? Surely, they would have said something to you if there was a problem.
Although, perhaps they wouldn’t, seeing as you had clearly been spiraling for some time now and have yet to discuss it with them.
Would they even meet you in the library later? Certainly, they would have said if something came up…if you needed to reschedule.
No.
You were obviously being silly. You hadn’t seen them all day, but they hadn’t seen you either – it was just a coincidence. You were fine.
Except you weren’t fine. Because it was about seven minutes after the time you had agreed to meet them before the boys joined you in the library. Remus offered you a hasty “sorry we’re late, dove” and a squeeze of your shoulder before taking a place at the table across from you, and Sirius pecked a quick kiss into your hair and sat beside you without saying a word.
It was painfully awkward. You’d asked them how their days were – Remus answered for the both of them before he asked you how yours was in turn.
After two more (failed) attempts on your part to make conversation, the rest of the study session was spent in silence. And not a comfortable silence.
It was the kind of silence that had you checking your surroundings every so often. The kind of silence that made you feel as if bugs were crawling over your skin.
Every time you looked across at Remus, he seemed to be shooting concerned glances over at Sirius. Every time you looked in your periphery at Sirius, you could see he was zoned out, eyes rimmed and red like he’d been crying or angrily rubbing at them.
If something was wrong, they would have told you – right?
If they were regretting being with you, they wouldn’t have shown - right?
If they were going to break up with you, they wouldn’t do it in the library of all places.
Right?
Your musings were interrupted when Sirius let out a sharp breath and closed his book unceremoniously.
“Sorry guys, I’m not feeling the best. I think I’m going to pack it up.”
Remus immediately perked up, looking like he was ready to pack up too. “Okay, do you want company?”
Do you want me to come with you?
“No, that’s alright. Don’t let me impede your studying. I’ll catch up with you later, ‘kay?”
I’ll talk to you more in our dorm room when we’re alone, Remus.
“Sorry, sweets. I’ll make it up to you.” He said as he hugged you from behind and kissed your neck.
“Okay, I hope you feel better.” You offered as you awkwardly pat his arms. He gave you a half-hearted smile before quickly exiting the library.
Once his figure disappeared from your vision, you turned back to see Remus still looking towards the way Sirius just left; he was still poised as if he was ready to pack up and go after him.
You suddenly felt guilty…because if you weren’t here, he would be going… He’d be going after his boyfriend and comforting him through…whatever he’s going through.
So now, here you were keeping Remus from where he really wanted to be, and Sirius from having the support that he needs…that he deserves.
My gods, you’ve made such a terrible mistake. How did the three of you not notice?
“Sorry about that, love.” Remus mentioned quietly, offering you a half smile. “He…he got a letter from his family today. He doesn’t really talk about it with people.”
He talked about it with you, though.
“It usually takes him a day or two to sort it out before he comes back to us.”
You mean back to you, James, and Peter…
“I’ll talk to him.”
When you leave me…to go to him.
You hated even feeling petulant about it. One of the things you loved about these boys was how much they loved each other. The trust, the affection, the care…you had just hoped that somehow, you’d get to enjoy those things too.
You offered him the best smile you could muster as you turned back towards your book. You could no longer make the words out as your vision blurred, tears threatening to spill out over the arithmancy calculations spread below you.
You couldn’t keep doing this. Not to Remus, not to Sirius…and certainly not to yourself. You deserved better, all three of you did.
You were being selfish, inserting yourself into their relationship like this; demanding things from them that they didn’t owe you.
“You know what,” you offered quietly, clearing your throat as your voice came out scratchy, grating along the lump lodged in your throat. “I think I’ve gotten enough studying done for tonight.”
You stood and started piling your things together.
“Oh…are, are you sure?” Remus asked like he was willing to argue, but he too was standing and starting to pack his bag – eager to get to his dorm and check on Sirius.
“Yeah, I did some work on it at dinner as well.”
Remus grimaced slightly at that.
“I’m sorry dove, really. The three of us clearly haven’t had a great day. I’ll talk to Sirius, and I promise we’ll all be back in sync in no time.”
You looked into his eyes and saw sincerity.
Back in sync.
Were we ever in sync to begin with?
“Can I walk you to your dorm?” He asked as he made to move around the table, but he paused at you quickly shaking your head.
“No, no I’m alright. I can find my way.” You tried to joke, but it fell flat.
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah. No, don’t worry about it just – uhm – just make sure he’s okay for me, yeah?” You asked as you walked backwards to the door. Remus must’ve picked up something in your tone, his eyebrows furrowed as he looked you up and down.
“I really am sorry, Y/N. We’ll see you tomorrow, okay?”
You quickly wiped away a stray tear that found its way out of your water line and gave him the biggest smile you could muster.
This was better, you thought, let everyone out of their misery.
“’Course. I’ll, uhm, I’ll see you around, Lupin.”
And you left.
Touch Tank
James Potter x reader (Smut, bit of fluff at the end.)
Summary: Cancelling a threesome with Sirius and Remus to get eaten out by James Potter, that’s it, that’s the plot.
Warning: smut, fem!reader, oral (fem receiving) - I also did not spell check, I apologise in advance 🙏
Maybe Remus and Sirius would be furious to know that this is why you cancelled on them. With your head leant back against James’ headboard, you didn’t care. Not one bit. Being told you were bored by James meant one thing and one thing only. He was hungry.
You were more than happy to satisfy his cravings. You could see him, face concentrated. He’d start by kissing up your thighs. Biting them, sucking them. Doing everything in his power to make your stomach swirl. His hands grabbing tightly at whatever he got his hands on first. It didn’t matter what, he needed you more than he understood.
Looking down, seeing his messy hair watching his head shake slightly at times when he was trying to show the different angles he could get to. All just to make you feel good. There was not one part of you he left untouched. Sometimes slowly swirling up your clit, licking and sucking when he was desperate.
Then pushing his fingers inside you, curling them deep inside you. Taking every chance he could to make you moan his name. Sometimes separating himself from licking your clit to rub it with his thumb. Leaving his fingers inside, he’d watch you as you squirmed for him and kiss your thighs.
His smug smile not even present, just a look of pure adoration. His fingers buried deep inside you, adding another to watch you open your eyes. Surprised about how full he was making you feel.
He brought his head back down, tongue toying with your clit again, fingers still inside. Suddenly he was groaning against you, sending shock waves through your core. He pushed his face deeper as he removed his fingers and quickly replaced them with his tongue. Your noise of disappointment cut short over the loss of his fingers due to his nose rubbing against your clit as he brought his tongue deeper.
James’ groans didn’t stop though. He was practically whining, grabbing at your thighs. Pushing them closer to his ears. He kept pushing and pushing until you got the message and wrapping them around his head.
He moaned satisfied to finally have what he wanted. He then decided to focus on your clit. Licking at it until he felt you convulsing above him. He kept licking, letting you ride out your orgasm, bringing himself back up when your legs slackened against his head.
He looked up at you, gently kissing your thighs. Stroking them as you calmed down.
‘Any good?’ He asked smiling at you.
‘Yeah, was alright I guess,’ you teased breathlessly.
He chuckled at you as you laid there. Then he turned to his draw to grab you some clothes. He came back to the bed and dressed you in his boxers and a red shirt. You smiled at the gesture.
You stared at each other for a minute, both of your cheeks red and eyes tired. He crawled into the bed next to you, turning you on your side to cuddle into you.
‘Well, was it worth missing out on whatever you had going on with Sirius and Remus?’ He asked kissing your cheek lightly.
‘Definitely.’ You smiled. It was peaceful for second, James still littering kisses around your face and neck which was broken by an offended scoff.
‘Well me and Moony had a great time without you, if you must know.’
Omg I’m so sorry this took me so long and of course you can be an anon if you want to lovely
Also this is unfinished so ask for another part if u want :)
Smut below the cut
“Hey there sweetheart,” your step brother calls to you, spreading his legs further across the sofa and patting his knee in invitation, “why don’t you come n’ sit with me and Moony for a bit, hey?”
You try to move towards them as confidently as possible, but your trembling hands and adverted gaze betrays you. You fall gracelessly into the arms of the shaggy-haired man, holding back a surprises giggle at the way his nose tickles against your neck.
“Isn’t she just the cutest, Moons?” You can feel the smirk of your step brother widen against your warmed cheeks, your embarrassment heightened by how he speaks about you like you’re not even in the room.
“She’s really something,” comes the drawl of the other man, his hand creeping up your exposed thigh, exploring the skin with languid strokes. Your body instinctively leans into his touch as his nimble fingers reach toward the hem of your skirt, simultaneously pushing up and shying away from his touch, “a shy one though, huh?”
“She’ll warm up to her soon enough, mate,” Sirius assures, one hand moving to boldly rest on your right breast, almost a show of his ownership of you, “only took her two days before she started crawling into my bed ‘nd begging for it,”
Remus makes a humming sound of approval at that, finally garnering eye contact with you and raising an eyebrow and tapping your thigh, waiting for your approval before diving his hand beneath your skirt, stroking his cold fingers up and down your uncovered pussy lips.
“No panties?” The grin on his face usurpes the disappointment in his tone. Sirius let’s out an incredulous scoff.
“Please, she hasn’t worn panties since the first day I fucked her,” his hand slips beneath your shirt and his fingers start flicking over your nipples, “always wants to be fucked now, the poor thing. She’ll probably get even more greedy now she’s got two of us,”
“Siri?” You crane your neck to finally make eye contact with him. Both boys cease their movements to watch you, intrigued by what you’d say while speaking for the first time in the night, “what- what do you mean two of us?”
“Well darling,” he smooths a kiss to the crown of your head, “moony over here needs someone to take care of him, doesn’t he? You don’t want him to get lonely, do you?”
You don’t even have to think about it; you shake your head with a pout. Remus seems nice, and his fingers are working wonders on your clit, his movements now resumed as Sirius talks.
“Well, I said that moony can fuck you sometimes, y’know, to help us all out,” he shrugs, spreading your legs further out on his lap so he can get a good glimpse of your pussy as Remus works it over.
“I promise I’ll be good to you, pretty girl,” the taller boy adjusts himself until his cheek rests against the inside of your thigh, so close to your cunt that his tongue scrapes across your clit with every word from his mouth, “so long as you follow my rules,”
Remus Lupin whose sense of smell heightens around the full moon. You come to him and you’re stinking of Sirius. Obviously, he’s really jealous, especially around this time, and he’s clutching you to his side, rubbing his scent all over you, basically claiming his territory.
Remus Lupin was not in a good mood. He was antsy. With the full moon so close, everything put him on edge: His ears seemed to twitch at the smallest shift in the floorboards and his nose seemed to smell every person that passed his dormitory door on their way to and from the common room. It made his stomach churn, like a boat being tossed about on the sea. It made his head pound in a steady rhythm that made it hard to focus on anything else beside the tedious beat. It was followed by a tightness too; pressing harshly against his temples.
Remus thought he should be used to it by now. He had been dealing with the effects of the full moon for practically as long as he could remember, but he would never truly get used to it. Having you and Sirius by his side always helped though. Remus wouldn’t ever dare admit it out loud, he spent far too much time trying to convince the two of you that he was dangerous and not to be trusted, but you and Sirius calmed his nerves. You made the transformation just that bit more bearable.
He would forever remember the day that you revealed your animagus form to him. Remus could hardly find the words to express how he felt. Never before in his life had he had someone care for him the way that you and Sirius did. James too. He was scared at first,  Remus didn’t know how his friends were going to react when he told them about his lycanthropy. Almost certainly he had expected you to run and to never speak to him again. But that night you did the opposite and held him close. And Remus had never felt more loved and accepted. Now, of course he was cautious at first. Angry. Scared. But slowly the three of you had talked him into realising it was a good idea: He was coming home after each transformation with fewer injuries and seemed to be managing much easier with your help. Of course, seeing the scratches and cuts appear on his friends bodies each night made him grimace and try to convince you to stop. He was supposed to protect you and, instead, he was allowing you to get hurt. But you stayed. And Remus was impossibly grateful for that.
Remus groaned as another ache shot through his body, and he turned tugging the blanket closer to him. The moon made him feel the need to hold you close all of the time. He yearned for the smell of your shampoo and the coolness of your skin flush against his. When the moon made him get like this Remus often found himself missing class. All of the people just made his nerves sizzle. Unfortunately, your boyfriend's condition did not mean that you also got a free pass to skip class. Or Sirius for that matter. So, instead of having you close, Remus lay curled up in his bed as his bones ached, waiting antagonisingly for you to return.
When you finally pushed the door open quietly as to stop it creaking, you were clinging onto Sirius’ arm. You arm was looped between his and you leaned your head against the crook of his shoulder. The two of you had been like that all day, he could tell.
You and Sirius had had a busy day to say the least. Not only had potions class run over, but you also had homework that you needed to catch up on during your lunch break. Not that you actually got much done with Sirius around. Sirius was an observer. He could tell from the way you held your shoulders higher than usual and walked with heavier steps that you were stressed. So he did all he could to help you relax a little. Knowing that you were also worried about your boyfriend, he placed gentle kisses to your forehead whilst you worked, or stole them from your lips in the corridor. He wrapped an arm around you and pulled you to his chest to try and expel the tension from your body. Your boyfriend's efforts seemed to have helped because by the time the bell finally rang and the doors spilled open to reveal the flood of students, you were feeling much better. Especially because you could now fill the empty space that Remus’ absence had created.
“Rem?” Your voice was quiet and tender, near a whisper in case he was asleep, or was finding everything too loud.
He peeked his head out from under the blanket, his hair tousled from hours of restlessness. You smiled at him brightly. It was enough for him to return it, and lift his sour mood.
“Hey, Dove.” he greeted, shuffling out of bed to greet you. He couldn’t help but eye his boyfriend who stood with his hand placed tenderly on your lower back. Remus’ fingers twitched. “Good day?”
You hummed, slipping off your shoes and making your way over him to wrap him up in your embrace. You knew it had likely been a tough day for him. “Better now you’re here.”
As you took another step closer to him and away from Sirius the tender moment between the two of you was interrupted. At first, Remus had thought it was because he was standing right next to you. That his nose was getting confused, another side effect of the moon, but now you were standing right beside him across the room from your other partner, Remus knew that he was not mistaken. You stank entirely of Sirius: warm, musky, rich, honey-like and a little earthy. It was complemented by the faint smell of cigarette smoke and leather from his jacket. Normally, the boy would savour the smell of his partner, but you smelt so much like him that it completely drowned out everything about your scent. Something possessive inside him seemed to switch on.
Remus snatched you up immediately, pressing you so tight to his chest that you thought he was going to smother you. He couldn’t help the glare he sent to his boyfriend over the top of your head. Glowering, he pressed a kiss to your head as his fingers reached to fiddle with the hem of your jumper, trying to inch it upward.
You pulled away and frowned at him. Sirius also bore a similar expression. “Moony?”
“You smell of him.” It was a simple statement that came out almost as a growl in his voice.
“Who?”
Remus gestured to Sirius, who had moved to sit on the edge of his bed, with a nod of his head. When he spoke, his tone was filled with something Remus did not possess often. Jealousy.  “Sirius.”
Sirius furrowed his brows, before realisation crossed his face and he gave you a look. Remus was feeling left out. He had been feeling rotten all day and now he was being left with a constant reminder of how you and Sirius had been spending the day clinging onto each other instead of him. To make matters worse, the moon was making him possessive: he needed to state what was his.
“Take it off.” Remus’ voice was demanding, but you could hear the need hidden deep behind it. “Please.”
You nodded, your hands slipping over him as you helped him to remove your jumper. Remus tossed it to Sirius and pulled you back to him. Although the jumper was gone, which had helped a little, he could still smell his boyfriend all over you. Understanding this from the way Remus shifted antstily, being the loving boyfriend that he is, Sirius moved to Remus’ trunk to pull out one of his jumpers for you to wear. Before he could reach it however, Remus snapped.
“Don’t touch them.” Remus moved toward his trunk and took a sweater before a very startled Sirius could react. Siri nodded slowly, taking a step back and raising his hands in a surrendering gesture. When after seeing you slip it on, the boy released a breath he hadn’t even known he was holding. It was better, but his mind still screamed at him: mineminemine.
“You alright Moons?” Sirius asked hesitantly, unsure or not whether to approach or not. Remus was still holding you close to him, peppering you with kisses, though he seemed to be less tense now.
He hummed, twisting toward his boyfriend but still not letting you go. This time his expression held much less venom than it had before “Sorry…” He started “I don’t know what came over me.”
Sirius took his chance to move toward him. Instinctively, Moony turned you away, but instead of trying to move you as he thought Sirius would, his boyfriend placed an arm on his shoulder. “It’s alright Rem. I understand.”
Remus tucked your head beneath his chin as your hand wandered to his own to fiddle with the rings on his fingers. “Still. I guess I thought I could handle being alone today… but it was all just a bit much. And seeing her come in here smelling of you…”
“Shh” Siri hushed, smoothing Remus’ hair. “You want to lay down?”
Remus nodded. “Is that okay with you, Dove?” He asked.
“Of course.” You smiled. Taking Remus’ hand you moved over to the bed, shifting the covers out of the way so you could climb beneath them. Remus followed, tucking you close to his body once more, and then Sirius lay on the other side of Remus, resting his head on his shoulder.
Remus relaxed into the mattress as you ran lazy circles over the palm of the hand he was using to keep you in place. He pressed his lips to your head.
“I love you.” He murmured. “I’m so glad I can call you mine.”
“And we are glad to be yours.” Siri told him.
“Thank you for doing this. I’m sorry if I overreacted…”
“Never.” You said. “Anything for our Moony.”
Remus pulled you closer to him. You had a feeling you weren’t going to be moving anytime soon.
Remus betrays Sirius for a cuddle and a nap
poly!maruaders x gn!reader (but it's actually just wolfstar) | fluff | 191 words cw: none
“Look Moons, the babies are sleeping.”
Remus raises his gaze from his book to see his two lovers snuggled up with one another on the couch. James lay on his back, one arm cushioning his head and the other holding you to his chest. He’s snoring, as he does, and your head rises and falls to the rhythm of his breaths.
Remus claps his book shut and hands it to Sirius curled up beside him. Sirius’ brows furrow as if he were presented with an alien object, which- well, perhaps he was. He’s soon distracted when Remus stands from the armchair- his boyfriend whines and grabs at him- and moseys across the living room. Despairingly, Sirius watches as Remus slides his arm under James’ body and adds his own legs to the entanglement of limbs.
“Moony- Moony!” Sirius whisper-shouts, upper body splayed pathetically on the floor. “Moony come here; I’m cold; there’s no space for you anyway.”
“Nonsense.” Remus replies, as his entire butt falls off the edge of the couch.
Sirius huffs indignantly. He glares a moment before opening Remus’ book, tossing the bookmark but noting the page number. “Traitor.”
Being a muggle born never really bothered you. You loved your parents, and you were glad for the childhood you had. They were really surprised when you had gotten your letter but were supportive nevertheless. They didn’t understand your new world and even though they were happy for you, they never cared to learn more about it. Part of you was bothered about it, because living in two different worlds, yet still trying to communicate, was hard. You drifted apart and whenever you visited during the breaks, they never wanted to hear about your school year or the magical world. It was usually awkward and uncomfortable, but you still loved them dearly and knew they loved you. You weren’t ashamed of your parents and defended them any chance you got.
Your first year was pretty hard. Not only were you getting used to this whole new world you were suddenly thrown into, but you’ve also learned the hard way, that being a muggle born was viewed as a bad thing. Being called worthless, stain on the wizarding world and mudblood were suddenly a daily occurrence. Thankfully, being sorted into Gryffindor led you to meet some amazing people and become best friends with Lily Evans. You tried to get through it together and it was suddenly much easier to have someone who understood you. You’ve befriended the Marauders as well and since the start of the second year, you were inseparable. Lily had some apprehension at the beginning, since James Potter was an ‘arrogant toerag’ in her words, but you’ve helped her realize, that there was much more then mischief in the boys. It didn’t take long for you to develop feelings for two of the troublemakers. There was just something about Sirius Black and Remus Lupin that made you fall, and you fell hard. You still remembered the conversation with Lily, where you revealed your feeling by accident. It was soon after Sirius and Remus started dating.
“I don’t get how the two of them could be together! Don’t get me wrong, I’m really happy for them and I hope they’ll be happy but they’re just... they’re so different!” Lily told you drunkenly at one of the famous Gryffindor parties, looking at the couple snogging in the middle of the made-up dance floor.
“And that’s the beauty of it, you know? When Sirius is hotheaded, Remus is there to calm him down and where Remus is reserved, Sirius helps him get out of his shelf. They’re two sides of the same coin,” you defended them fiercely. Seeing them like that made you so happy, but the darker side of you was jealous, wishing you could be part of it.
“I kinda wish a coin had three sides, you know? Can you imagine how amazing that would be?” You said without thinking, gaze fixed on the two boys. Lily shot you a confused look.
“A coin with three sides? How would that even look? And what kind of shape would it have to have? Why would you want a three-sided coin?” Her confusion was not only in her eyes, but you could also detect it in her voice as well. You just rolled your eyes at her oblivion.
“I don’t want a three-sided coin Lily, I wanna be part of their relationship. How you’re on top of every class, I have no idea.”
The memory always made you smile. And your wish came true. Not long after your conversation with Lily, even though it felt like years for you, you became a part of the relationship. It was quite complicated at the beginning, you were no stranger to dating, but dating not only two boys but two Golden boys of Hogwarts was no easy task. But you’ve happily settled and after some long conversations, when you all tried to figure out, you were as happy as you could ever be.
Your sixth year was however when things turned complicated once again. The war raging outside the walls of the castle was taking a tool on you. You were constantly worried about the safety of your family as well as your own. It was no secret that you had muggle parents, which made you a target at the school as well. Every time you saw some Slytherins, mostly Snape with Malfoy and Mulciber, you were called names and even hexed multiple times. But it wasn’t only you, every muggle born was treated like that, which didn’t make it better, yet it seemed like you were the biggest target, wether it was because of your connection and close friendship with the Marauders, the constant pranks you pulled on them or the fact, that you always fought back and never let them get away with it. You had many serious talks with Lily about this topic. She tried to tell you to take it easy and ignore them like she did, and they’d get bored of it soon. You never had the heart to tell her, that the reason the boys didn’t target her as much was because Severus still had feelings for her, even after their falling-out, and threatened other Slytherins to take it easy on her.
“Why did you do that?” Lily asked you as you laid on your bed with a pack of ice on your face that still stung from the hex they threw at you.
“You mean why did I turned them into snakes? Because that’s what they fucking are Lily. I can’t juste let them call me names and walk away. Plus, they started it,” you said tiredly, the headache making you nauseous.
“But you could! If you had just ignored them, you wouldn’t have been hurt and in detention” she tried once again “that’s what I do, just walk away. So what if the call us mudbloods, its not like its harmful anymore.”
“But its not about the name calling. They’re fucking death eaters and acting like they’re better than us, but they’re not! It’s about the principle. You can’t do something bad and not get punished for it.” The conversation was almost identical to the one you’ve had many times in the past.
“Well, at least you’ve answered your question why you have to go to detention for the following week,” Lily sighed and went to change you ice pack.
The boys tried their best to protect you, they always made sure that at least one of them was with you. Wether it was in library with Remus, quidditch with James, the kitchen with Sirius or at least one of them walking you to every class and the Great Hall. They never talked to you about it, but you knew what they were doing, and the thoughtfulness warmed your heart. But they couldn’t be with you every second of the day no matter how much you wanted them to or how much they tried. That’s how you found yourself walking to your common room late at night after another detention with McGonagall.
“I’m sorry, you did what?!” Remus shrieked, staring at you in disbelief.
“I set Snivellus on fire. I mean, just his robes,” you mumbled sheepishly. Your boyfriends stared at you with mixed amazement and incredulity. James bursted into laughter.
“How come we never thought of that?” He said between laughter.
“Pff, don’t encourage her Prongs or she’ll think it was a good idea and will do something analogously stupid.” Your scarred boyfriend scoffed, but the corner of his mouth twitching.
“And what was I supposed to do? Let him torture the poor second year and just walk away?” You tried to defend your actions, slowly getting worked up.
“That’s not what he meant, pet. We just want you to be careful. Moony means well, he’s scared, just like the rest of us. They’re getting bolder and bolder. We’re proud of you for defending the kid, aren’t we, Moons?” Sirius finally joined the conversation, trying to calm you all down. He pulled you into his arms, kissing your head. Remus sighed and took your face into his hands, looking deeply into your eyes.
“Of course I’m proud, you're our brave girl, darling. Just don’t wanna see you hurt.” And with those words he kissed you deeply.
Walking down the dark and empty corridor, you tried not to think about the sickening smell you’ve been inhaling for the least couple of hours. Professor McGonagall made you wash one of the dirty bathrooms without magic as your punishment. You were disgusted with the Hogwarts students and the mess they could make. So lost in your own head, you didn’t even hear the steps of people behind you. Not until it was too late anyway.
“Well, well, well, who do we have here?” Said the voice behind you that belonged to no other then Severus Snape. Before you could even pull out your wand, it flew out of your hands with a simple Expelliarmus from Mulciber, whom you just noticed standing behind Snape.
“I’m not in a mood for your games Snivellus,” you snapped at him, already tired from the day you had.
“Oh, trust me, this is no game,” he threatened, smiling at you maliciously. You wanted to punch him so hard.
“What are you even doing here, aren’t you supposed to be at the infirmary? Those burns looked pretty nasty earlier.” His smile disappeared and something much more dangerous appeaed on his face.
“You’re gonna pay for that, you stupid bitch,” he sneered at you. Your fight or flight instincts kicked in and you moved to him with the intention to rip his head off his body. But before you could take more than few steps, he hit you with a Petrificus Totalus spell. You tried to mask your panic when you realized you could possibly be in an immense danger without your wand and the ability to move with two deatheaters, who loathed you. The grin Snape and Mulciber gave you was a sign of how much of a shit job you did to hide your emotions.
“Not so brave now, are you, mudblood?” Mulciber gave you a sickening smirk. You could see nothing but madness in his eyes. They started to circle around you, eyeing you like predators wanting to hurt their prey. You watched them carefully, waiting for their next move.
“Not in a mood for games, did you say? What a shame because I’m ready to play,” said Mulciber before casting a Flipendo and suddenly, you were upside down, your head hitting the floor. You wanted to do something, protect yourself, scream for help, but you were powerless, unable to do any of the things you wanted to.
“I feel like it’d be much more fun if she didn’t see us, don’t you agree?” He asked Severus who chuckled and nodded.
“For once, I must agree with you. Obscurs!” And all of a sudden you were blindfold, your panic rising. You had no idea what they had planned for you, but were sure it was nothing pleasant. Everything went pretty hazy after they hit you with the Confundus charm. The two deatheaters were taking turns hexing you. They made you slowly bleed and ache, but they haven’t done anything terrible to really harm you, which somehow made you even more nervous. They were slowly becoming more and more harmful with their hexes, causing you more pain. Until they grew bored of the wand work. You were thrown on the floor, all spells lifted from you, and you thought it was finally over before you were harshly kicked into the stomach. You could hear them laughing as they continued to hit you and kick you around the cold floor. They’ve caused you more then enough harm. You were bleeding from various places and was more than sure that you had a few broken bones as well as a concussion from them throwing you around like a ragdoll. Your foggy brain couldn’t comprehend all that was happening. Both of them suddenly stopped and quietned down as you tried to crawl away from them. The silence was broken with a shout.
“Crucio!” Yelled one of the boys. You couldn’t care less which one, as you were hit with an immense pain. You were on the floor, whirling in pain. You trashed on the ground, somehow in hopes off gettin rid of the pain, but all in vain. You tried to let out a scream, but you weren’t sure if you did because you couldn’t hear anything but their laughter. The curse was lifted and you sucked a breath of air into your lungs, or at least you tried to. You didn’t have time to even move before they’ve casted the curse again. And again and again. You felt like your insides were being twisted and ripped out of you. At that point, you just wanted them to kill you. You didn’t know how much time has passed, before Snape leaned over you.
“You’ll learn where your place is. You don’t deserve to breathe the same air as we do, mugblood. Let this be your lesson. Hopefully one you’ll remember until your pathetic life ends. Which may not be that long, now that I think about it.” You didn’t even notice that the curse wasn’t on you anymore. You couldn’t move, couldn’t see, couldn’t do anything then whisper a pathetic please, hoping your suffering would end soon. He just smirked at you and looked like he wanted to say something else, but Mulciber beat him to it, shouting Crucio once again. There was nothing you could do than just to take it while begging them to stop. You were slipping into unconsciousness, the pain being too much. You couldn’t even tell the difference between being under the curse and not because all you could feel was agony. You thought you heard someone shouting, but it may have just been a hallucination. Opening your eyes, you could make out a silhouette of someone else coming and you were praying to Merlin it wasn’t Malfoy wanting to join in on all the ‘fun’. To your surprise you saw, or at least thought you did, Snape and Mulciber running away, but not before the last curse Snape sent your way. Sectumsempra were the last words of Severus Snape, before he took of, disappearing in the darkness. You realized; you didn’t know pain until now. Your body was on fire and instead of drawing in a breath, you coughed out blood.
“Hey, hey, can you hear me?” Somebody was leaning over you, but you couldn’t make out who it was.
“It’s okay now, please just try to breathe. You’re safe, you’re safe.” Those were the last words before the darkness took over you.
“Lay her here, carefully! And quickly, sent for Dumbledore!”
“I don’t know what to do, I’ve never dealt with something like this.”
“Just hold on, it’s gonna be okay.”
“What the fuck happened?!” “You can’t be here right now, mister Black.”
“This is gonna hurt, dear. I’m so sorry.”
“You’re safe now, my love. I’m never gonna let anything like that happen to you. I swear on my life.”
“What the hell do you mean, they’re not gonna be punished?!” “We are not discussing this topic with you, mister Lupin.” “They can’t just walk away, have you seen what they’ve done to her? She’s fucking dying!” “Enough Remus, please.”
“Please, wake up. I know it’s selfish of me to ask this, considering everything that happened, but please, I really need you to wake up.”
You kept slipping in an out of consciousness, hearing bits and peaces of the conversations happening around you, but the darkness has always won and took you under.
The first thing you felt was something wet on your hand. You tried to open your eyes, but even such easy task seemed like something impossible. You tried to move, but it was like you were under the binding curse all over again. After much effort, you were able to open your eyes very slowly. The bright light made you blink a couple of times, but you were able to recognize your surroundings. The hospital wing. You wanted to sit up, but the pain suddenly consumed you like a tsunami, and a groan tore itself out of your throat.
“You’re awake!” Said a quiet voice. Your eyes met Lily’s beautiful green ones. Tears rolled down her cheeks and the realization that you’ve felt her tears on your hand hit you. You tried to open your mouth to say something, but your throat felt like sandpaper and nothing came out.
“Shh, don’t say anything, its okay. Here, try to drink some water instead.” She handed you a cool glass of water, but you were unable to sit up and drink. When she noticed, more tears welled up in her eyes and she softly squeezed your hand and with the words, that she’ll be back soon left you alone and disappeared behind the white curtains around your bed. You didn’t know how much time passed with you just looking at the ceiling, but Madam Pomfrey was suddenly by your side with some other woman in white.
“This is nurse Bimley, we’re just gonna do a quick check, okay?” She asked and both her and the nurse started to examine you and move you around. They asked you some questions, but you didn’t really pay attention, your mind tired to function properly. With their hands on you and calming words, you fell into the darkness.
Opening you eyes the second time was easier and even adjusting to the light was quicker. You found yourself half sitting, half laying on the hospital bed. Did they move you again? How long has it been since I last woke up? Why am I even here?
“Hey.” Whispered a voice beside you, interrupting your train of thoughts. You looked at the boy sitting on a very uncomfortable looking chair next to your bed. You’d recognize his stormy eyes everywhere, but the ever-present spark in them seemed to disappear, worry replacing it. Your hand was squeezed and you looked on your other side, seeing a scarred hand placed in yours. You felt somewhat calmer knowing that your boyfriends were with you.
“Here, drink this.” Remus lifted a glass of some murky liquid to your mouth waited patiently for you to drink the whole thing and you did even though it tasted like shit. He placed the, now empty, glass on the table, avoiding eye contact the whole time, contrary to your other boyfriend. You were all quiet for a while, just studying each other before Sirius broke the silence.
“How are you feeling, love?” You wanted to answer, but instead of words, you started to cough. To your horror you’ve realized droplets of blood came out of your throat, and Sirius was quick to hold a small bucket near your mouth.
“Shh, its okay darling. Just let it out. It’s okay.” Remus tried to soothe you, suddenly standing next to you. He looked like he wanted to place his hand on your back, but for a reason unknown to you, he decided against it. After your coughing fit, you closed your eyes and tried to properly breathe, which suddenly seemed like almost impossible task. When you calmed down a bit and looked up, you saw Sirius’s eyes pooling with unshed tears. He tried to smile at you reassuringly, but it felt fake.
“We should get madame Pomfrey,” Remus murmured, the words aimed to Sirius who slowly nodded, but before any of them could move, you croaked barely audible no. Your voice sounded like nails on chalkboard, and you cringed before starting to cough again. Sirius held up the bucket again while Remus spoke.
“Okay, okay. We won’t call anyone just yet. Just try to breathe for us darling.” And you did what he told you. He sat on the chair again. After you stopped coughing, you tried to speak once again.
“What..” but before you could finish your sentence, Sirius gently shushed you. “Don’t speak, my love. You need to rest and talking just makes it worse.” You nodded at his words, resting your head on the pillow behind you.
“Do you remember what happened, angel?” Remus asked you carefully to which you just shook your head. You didn’t remember anything; you mind still not working properly. The only thing you knew was that you were in terrible pain. Remus sighed before continuing.
“You were attacked darling. When you were walking from detention, some Slytherin cornered you and..” his voice broke, not being able to finish his sentence. Thankfully, Sirius took over.
“They did horrible, horrible things to you, angel. They didn’t tell us exactly what happened, but it almost killed you.” His voice was barely above a whisper at the end, a single tear rolling down his cheek. It almost killed you kept on replaying in your head over and over again as you started to remember bits and pieces. Their laughter, their hexes and curses, the pain. You didn’t even realize you started shaking before Sirius gently laid his hand on your cheek.
“Hey, hey, baby listen to me, you’re safe now. It’s over and you’re safe, do you hear me? We’re never gonna let anything like that happen to you again, okay? You’re safe with us. I promise.” He tried to calm you but you didn’t register his words as you kept on remembering everything. It felt like you were in a trance, not being able to do anything beside cry and shake, ugly sobs tearing out of your throat. You didn’t even realize that Remus quickly left your side to get Poppy to help you. To you, she appeared out of nowhere, suddenly by your side.
“I told you to get me when she wakes up, mainly to prevent something like this from happening. Now leave us alone and get professor McGonagall.” Both of your boyfriends left rather quickly without a word but sending you a sorry look. You really didn’t want them to leave but were unable to voice you thoughts through the sobbing. The sweet nurse got you to calm down after a while of sweet talk and reassurance that you were safe.
“Let me check the injuries, okay?” She asked but already started to take off your hospital robe that you didn’t even notice you were wearing. Underneath your whole body was bandaged, some of the bandages red from the blood seeping through them, you could see black and blue bruises where your skin was showing and you felt like you were going to be sick. Madam Pomfrey, thankfully, saw that coming and quickly brought a bucket to your mouth, the same that Sirius gave you earlier, and you puked your guts out, all that while she whispered calming words to you. When you were done, you closed your eyes and let the nurse rewrap your wounds after rubbing some ointment on them. The second she was done, professor McGonagall came into sight with Dumbledore on her heels, it was like they scented they could come.
“Good evening miss Y/S. How are you feeling?” He asked you politely, his eyes searching yours. You shrugged your shoulders, not trusting yourself to talk just yet.
“Do you remember what happened?” He asked you again to which you just nodded your head, avoiding eye contact with anyone.
“I know its hard, but would you be able to tell us what happened?” You dreaded this question, but took a deep breath before finally answering verbally. You vaguely told them the events of that night. I don’t even know how long I was asleep ran through your head, but you pushed it aside and continued talking. About how they cornered you, taking your want and hexing you. How they grew tired of it after a while and decided to beat you up. How they used one of the Unforgivables on you before someone came to your rescue. How they ran but not before sending some unknown spell in your way. By the end, you were silently crying once again.
“Thank you, dear. You should rest now. Don’t worry about anything else. I’ll come and talk to you when you feel better.” Professor McGonagall thanked you and you heard in her voice how sorry she felt for you. You sent a smile her way, or at least tried to, before they left you again.
“You should really rest now. I’ve put some sleeping and calming draught next to your bed, if you want it.” Madame Pomfrey decided and went to leave you alone before you stopped her.
“May I speak to Remus and Sirius please?” You pleaded with her before adding “it’d make me feel much more at ease.” To which the nurse nodded before disappearing behind the curtain, hopefully snatching the boys. And soon enough, Remus’s head poked from behind the curtain, smiling at you soflty.
“Hi there, darling. James and Lily are here to see you, if you feel like it. If not, that’s completely okay and they understand. Anything to make you comfortable.” You smiled at his thoughtfulness, and you considered it for a second. You didn’t want your friends to see you in such state but you knew that seeing them would make you feel better so you nodded. Soon enough, around your bed were the four most important people of your life. You gently smiled at them, feeling calmer already. Remus carefully sat on your bed, Sirius in the chair next to him with Lily in the chair and James standing next to her on your other side.
“Hi.” you said timidly. Lily almost started to cry when she heard your voice and James laid a protective hand or her shoulder, smiling gently at you.
“Hello there, sunshine.” He responded just as gently.
“Are you feeling any better?” Remus asked you carefully, not wanting to make you cry again or overall worsen your state. You didn’t know whether to say yes or no so you just shrugged.
“I’m so glad you’re okay. We were all so worried.” Lily whispered, looking deep into your eyes. A flashback of her crying when you woke up suddenly popped up in your mind.
“You were here, before I mean.” You realized, looking at her.
“We were all here at some point. You kept on waking up and falling asleep the whole time you were here.” She looked like she wanted to add something, but her quiet sobs prevented it.
“Yeah, you’ve been here for two days. We sneaked in whenever we could. Sometimes you woke up and started babbling some nonsense, sometimes you just screamed. Do you remember any of that?” James added and that’s when you noticed the dark circles under all of their eyes. You felt bad for making them so worried.
“No. I mean, I remember some of it, but it’s all blurry. I remember some other woman tho, I think she was a nurse.” You tried to fish for your memories, but nothing else came to the surface.
“That was nurse Bimley, she came from St. Mungo’s after Dumbledore sent for someone to help you.” Lily explained, now more composed, but it left you even more confused.
“Why? What happened?” You decided to ask, wanting to hear their side of the story. They all looked at each other in apprehension, apart from Sirius, who was uncharacteristically quiet and avoiding eye contact, before Remus decided to put you out of your misery and explain.
“When you didn’t come from your detention, we started to worry. The more time passed, the more terrified we were. James tried to look for the map, but we’ve put it somewhere and none of us were able to find it. We kept on telling ourselves that you were fine, and that Minnie was just making you work extra hard, so we didn’t go to search for you. Something that I’ll never forgive myself for and I’m terribly sorry for it, love.” He took your hand into his and softly squeezed before continuing. “Then some Gryffindor prefect bursted into the command room, ordering everyone to go to bed, that there was an attack on a student, and we weren’t to leave our dorms. I felt my soul leave my body at his words, I swear. We didn’t even take the cloak, we just ran straight to the infirmary. There, we saw...” but before he could continue, Sirius interrupted him, his eyes unfocused as if he was remembering the night.
“It was Reggie. He found you and took you straight to Madam Pomfrey. He saved your life. We found him sitting on the floor, looking like he might pass out or puke. When he spotted us, he quickly started to explain how he didn’t have anything to do with it, how he wasn’t part of it and just tried to help you. I was so confused at that minute but when I saw the look on his face… I just knew that something horrible must have happened to you.” He exhaled, still not looking at you. It was Regulus who helped you. Regulus saved your life. You were tremendously grateful for Sirius’s little brother. Sirius took a deep breath.
“After he calmed down, he explained what happened. Told us that he was just wandering around when he heard screaming, so he went to see what was going on. He found you on the floor with Snape and Mulciber above you with wands in their hands. Doesn’t take a genius to know what was going on. He went to you aid, yelling at them to leave you alone. Before he could make it to your side, they ran away, but Snivellus casted some weird curse at the very last moment. We don’t know what it was but..” he choked on his words, not being able to continued. You could feel the anxiety from remembering that night rolling off of him. James decided to add to his speech.
“It slashed up your whole body.” He said before Remus send a dark and disapproving look his was which shut him up pretty quickly. Thank Merlin for Lily who decided to carry on explaining before the two of them started fighting.
“The curse made numerous of gashes appear on your body, they were all so deep and you were slowly, but surely bleeding out. If Regulus hadn’t brought you to the infirmary so quickly, you’d bleed to death.” She said quietly, not looking into your eyes.
“We heard Poppy screaming at Dumbledore to sent for help, that she wouldn’t be able to safe you by herself. Then he and McGonagall came out of the door and saw us. I don’t think they were even surprised to see us there. Dumbledore left without saying a word, surely to sent for someone from St. Mungo’s, while Minnie stayed behind. She was crying but tried to look strong for us. Told us that you were hurt really badly, but that they were going to help you. Then she made us all leave with a promise that we would be updated as soon as she knew something. She walked us all back to our dorms, even Regulus, to make sure that we wouldn’t try to stay. But once inside the common room, we just snatched the cloak and decided that one of us would always be by your side and we were until you woke up. And now we’re here.” Remus ended the story and a long pause followed. You tried to compose your thoughts but it all seemed too much for you. So I did scream. Your head started to hurt and you were just so fucking exhausted from everything.
“We’re gonna let you rest now, Merlin knows you need it. We’ll be back tomorrow, I promise. I hope you’ll feel better, sunshine.” James broke the silence first and he gently kissed your forehead.
“Thank you, Jamie. For everything. You too, Lils. Please, try to get some proper sleep as well, okay?” You pleaded with them and softly.
“Only you would worry about us getting some sleep while laying in a hospital bed.” Lily shook her head but laughed a little bit and you smiled at them as James took Lily’s hands and they both left, leaving you with your boys.
“I’m so fucking incredibly sorry, my love. We promised you that we wouldn’t let anything happen to you and look where we are now. I’m so so so sorry.” Remus whispered, ashamed of himself.
“We won’t let anything like that happen to you again. I swear on my life. We failed you once, but it’ll never happen again, okay? I’d rather die than seeing you like this again. I’m so sorry, my darling.” Sirius apologized as well and your hear hurt for them.
“This wasn’t your fault, you couldn’t have done anything. I don’t blame you and never will. Please, don’t blame yourself either. I’ll be okay.” You tried to reassure them, wishing they wouldn’t be so hard on themselves.
“But it is out fault. We should’ve protect you but instead left you alone to your misery.” Sirius kept on beating himself but you were quick to stop him.
“Please, don’t. You can’t be with me every second and that’s okay. You’re here now and that’s what matters.” Remus looked like he wanted to say something as well, but you stopped him. “Let’s talk some more tomorrow. I’m exhausted and in pain and I just want to sleep. I’m here and I’m alive, that’s what matters.”
“Of course, of course. We’re gonna leave you to rest. Merlin knows you need it. We’ll come back tomorrow.” Remus said as he started to stand up, but you quickly shot your hand to stop him, the quick move making your whole body ache again and you let out a groan. Sirius quickly brought the draughts that Pomfrey left for you to drink and you happily did so while smiling at him in thankfulness.
“Please stay, I don’t wan to be alone.” You whisper shyly when you’ve set the potion down, still holding Remus’s hand. He smiled at you gently but looked unsure.
“Are you sure? You need to get some sleep and we don’t wanna bother you or make you uncomfortable.” He made sure to know you’re comfortable.
“You could never make me uncomfortable. Please, I really need you right now.” You assured him and pleaded with both of them to which Remus nodded and performed a spell to make your bed bigger so all three of you would fit and have space.
“Oh, thank Merlin. I don’t think I’d be able to leave you alone tonight.” Sirius sighed as he laid next to you, very careful not to hurt you. You smiled at his words and turned to him.
“Have you talked to Regulus?” You whispered to him while Remus drew the curtain shut and went to lay on your other side.
“Yeah, sent him a message thanking him and telling him you were okay. He asked if he could see you.” He whispered back to you and gently put his arm under your head, to pull you just a bit closer.
“I’d like that. I wanna thank him myself.”
“I’ll let him know tomorrow. Wanna talk to him myself. But now sleep and don’t worry about a thing okay?” He kissed your head just as Remus lied on your other side and took you into his arms slowly, waiting for a sign of discomfort from you but when you didn’t show any, she kissed your head as well before whispering.
“Sleep now, my darling angel. We’ll be here when you wake up and then every second for the rest of our lives.”
Sirius looks so pretty in his white blouse. The silk brings out his dark hair perfectly, and the fabrics warm undertones complimented his pale skin. “Is all the fuss really necessary?” Sirius asked, bothering with the bow neckline of the blouse.
“You want to look good, don’t you?” You respond stiffly, tying, and re-tying the bow, unsatisfied with how it sits around his neck.
“You forgot to Iron it.”, you say, Tying, untying, re-tying. Completely zeroed in.
“Does it really matter?” Sirius responds, completely exasperated.
Remus watches on from the armchair by his bed. It’s standard routine at this point. Before every common room party, Remus is ready by dinner - always a plain top and trousers, today a white T-shirt with blue jeans. “Very James Dean”, Sirius had said. He's been sitting there entirely patient on the same armchair for the past two hours, reading only half attentively as you and Sirius get ready.
“Sweetheart, the bow is fine”, Remus advises gently. He’s not in a rush, but he can tell that as much as you usually enjoy it, today the up-doing process is stressing you out.
“No..no, not yet”, you respond absentmindedly, still fixated on Sirius’s blouse.
Tying, untying, re-tying the bow. Sirius huffs out a humourless laugh and takes a quick step back turning completely away from you. Your hands are still held up, frozen where his neck would be. Your eyebrows furrow, and Remus looks up from his book.
“It’s the same every bloody time!”, Sirius suddenly cries out, you’re completely taken aback.
“Sirius”, Remus warns.
“Godric, Forgive me! I didn’t iron my fucking blouse!”, he feigns, “You’re suffocated me” he finishes, coldly, glaring daggers straight through you. He’s still so beautiful, with his ebony hair hanging long and dark over his face, but the pit in your stomach is somehow darker.
Remus is stood to his full height now, book abandoned. “You’re out of line”, his anger still somehow contained. And Sirius has the gall to let out a laugh. The party in the common room seems to have started. You can hear music and laughing below the bluestone floors. You try and divert your focus to that lively sound and take it off the painful bob in your throat.
“I’m out of line? You’re kidding Moony”, Sirius laughs. his lack of sincerity is incredibly unnerving. “The bitch is vapid”, and your heart nearly stops, you can feel the sick climbing up your throat. Remus is seething, but you’re not sure he knows exactly what to say anyway.
“What?”, is all you can muster hopelessly.
Sirius takes a step towards you, and you all seem to move at once. You take one step back at the same time Remus steps between you and the shorter boy.
“Cut it out Sirius”, Remus warns, towering above the both of you with his height, and his domineering demeanour. But Sirius is undeterred.
“You. are. entirely. vapid”, he repeats, now looking over at you past Remus’s shoulder. “you’re just like my mother” he whispers to himself, like some sort of secret revelation, and you just want it all to end. “Completely superficial, shallow, and entirely vapid” he seethes, before turning back away from you again, taking in a slow deep breath. You think you can hear his heart beating nearly just as quick as yours.
Sirius’s accusation sits inside you. You can’t deny that you do like nice things. Your jewellery was all made custom, you shopped at the best boutiques on Diagon Alley, and you kept up appearances.
Your parents have always been devastatingly high-achieving. You were no stranger to the odd charity gala, or pureblood ball. So, for you that meant endless expectations to live up to. Making sure clothes were ironed, hair was done right and shoes were all polished was just second nature. You pay attention to these things because you have to. Your label as a “washed-up-witch” in Witch Weekly’s coverage of the Macmillan ball in 72 serves as a reminder. Filtered through pre-teen public humiliation, these things stick. As deflated as you felt regarding Sirius’s outburst, you could feel an equal anger bubbling just below the surface.
“You did not just compare me to your draconian fanatic of a mother”, is the first thing that leaves your lips. Your eyes are wide, and that anger is bubbling over. Yet, your voice is so level that you think you just might have the upper hand. You can tell that Sirius was expecting you to respond with equal fervour, he wanted a fight, and your composure has caught him off guard. You think for a second, maybe he didn’t even mean to hurt you.
Remus would back you up if you needed him to, but he knows you really don’t need him to. You’d like to say your piece, and he gives your hand a gentle squeeze in support.
“Just because you can afford to reject tradition and expectation doesn’t mean we all have that luxury” you seethe.
Sirius has always had the reputation of a Black Sheep, but it made him shine nevertheless. Every act of rebellion on his part was praised and admired by your peers. But as a woman in the 70s, and the only child in a pureblood family - you were often subject to incomparable scrutiny.
“Maybe I’m too much sometimes” your voice breaks, and the tears have started to flow of their own accord now. Rushing like silent broken faucets, or shower heads. Sirius’s eyes flash with regret. You look up at the ceiling to blink them back, and Remus gives your hand another squeeze, silently shaking his head and biting his tongue. He’s glaring at Sirius with a healthy mixture of disappointment, and something akin to fury.
“I can’t help but care about how I look”, you whisper to no one in particular, “This is usually fun, getting dressed up together”, and Sirius looks completely in despair. That almost cocky, goading aura that surrounded him has been evaporated by your undeniable heartbreak. He’s fidgeting with the hem of the blouse now, and his fingers move hesitantly up to his neckline, where your hands sat only moments ago. He’s palming at the skin there, as it slowly turns pink from the pressure.
“I’m only fussy because I care, Sirius”, you say wavering, lip quivering as your crying takes both your eyes, and your voice. He can’t look you in the eye.
The subtext isn’t missed by either of the boys, you care because you love them. You enjoy dressing them up because you want them to look good and enjoy themselves. To protect them from any anxiety associated with landing on a worst dressed list, even informally among the Gryffindor party-goers three flood below.
You look down at your disco boots, perfect stockings and shift dress. It all feels so silly now, wearing the outfit you picked out three days in advance. You want to crawl out of your skin, and you really don’t feel like dancing. Sirius is still palming at his collarbones, staring with dazed and shallow eyes at his feet and the floor below them. You can’t see his face properly behind his hair, but you know him well enough to think he might be crying too. “I hope you’re proud of yourself Black” Remus chimes in, and you wince at the use of that last name. Remus’s hand rubs small circles around the back of your neck, you can't help but want his hot skin off you.
“I-I didn’t-”, Sirius starts, but you walk from the room with Remus quick at your heels before he can finish.
The stairway down to the common room is empty, with the party building up below. It’s just you and Remus standing still on the stairs. “You know he didn’t mean that”, Remus says kindly, more for your sake than Sirius’s. He’s brushing the tears from your cheeks with his thumbs, and gently pushing the hair back from around your face. “He gets like this when he’s stressed, it’s not your fault”, he reassures, kissing the top of your head.
“I stressed him, I should have just let him be”, you whisper, and Remus is silent. This is the first big fight you've had as a couple. You’re a slightly more recent addition to their pairing. Quips and little disagreements have never been an issue. Even when you were all just friends these things were always resolved in a matter of minutes - or a few hours at most, but this is the first time a spat has ended in tears.
You wonder if this was a mistake. You hope to Godric that Remus isn’t thinking it too. “I think I’ll go to bed”, you say finally, and you can feel him frown.
“But you were so excited for tonight” he says sadly, more of an acknowledgment, you know he doesn’t mean to change your mind. You’re all hardly in the mood for a party.
“Maybe you and Sirius can still have some fun”, and you hope it doesn’t come across as bitter, but Remus’s solemn expression suggests otherwise, he lets it go.
“I’ll talk to him”, Remus assures, as he molds his body around yours in a much-needed embrace. Having him so close stirs a vulnerability within you, and you’re sure that if you could see his face, you wouldn't have the courage to open your mouth.
“Maybe we were wrong”, you whisper into his chest, scared.
Remus is burning 20 degrees hotter.
“What makes you say that?”, he responds measured, but the unease in his voice is palpable. He’s pulled back to look at your face now, and you fidget under his gaze. You give him a look to say without words, ‘are you kidding?’.
“But you know we love you”, Remus says desperately, more of a question than a statement, gripping the sides of your head firmly, so as to say, ‘please believe me’. You just shake your head between his hands. “You heard him, didn’t you?”, you start, “Completely superficial, shallow, and entirely vapid” you quote, and Remus cringes.
“I’ll talk to him”, he repeats.
“No, no its okay, I’m going to bed”, you say, almost completely defeated by the tidal wave of self-doubt flooding through you.
“Dove-”
“How about you talk to him, and you two can decide what we do from here”, Remus looks heartbroken at the implication.
“Surely you don’t think we don’t want to see you anymore?”, There seems to be something sparkly welling in his eyes too, Godric, what a horrible evening.
You’re so in your head you hardly register Remus’s question. When he goes to pull you close again you take a small step back, your fingers still interlinked. The moonlight shines in through the stained glass, and the sparkle of salt in Remus’s eyes begins to fall. You can hear Diana Ross’s smooth voice echoing off the stone from downstairs, tonight could have gone so differently. You can’t help but feel you’ve caused all this. Whatever animosity Sirius seems to have been harbouring towards you, you’re sure it lives inside Remus too, even if you can’t see it yet. You turn around before you have the chance to look back.
“I’m going to bed”.
A LITTLE BIT OF PAINT | wolfstar x reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: R.L. x S.B. x Reader
Word Count: 9.9k
Warnings: smut, threesome, finger fucking, oral (male receiving), handj*b, dry h*mping, thigh ridding, p in v, Remus is a mess, mild Dom!Remus (if you squint really hard), he might also have a praise k!nk, Sirius is a flirt (danger to humanity honestly), homoerotic scenes(?), you and Sirius can’t take your eyes off Rem, Rem can’t take his eyes off you either, consent is sexy!
Prompt: Sirius and you are art students and you’ve got an assignment, a nude painting, but you can’t paint each other. Trying to convict Remus to model for you was hard enough, but painting him, while he looks so damn stunning, might prove a harder endeavour to accomplish.
Tumblr media
♡ NSFW: Smut under the cut
“So?” Sirius asked as he leaned onto Remus, “would you do it?”
“Pretty please?” you asked with a small pout and a few blinks.
Remus sighed, “Why don’t you just paint each other?”
Both you and Sirius had been trying to convince Remus to be your nude model for an assignment for the last 20 minutes. He was your best friend, and both you and Sirius had always wanted to use him as a model, but had never been too keen to do it, not even clothed. But you needed him now.
“We can’t do someone we’ve fucked,” Sirius said with a sigh, “We’d already done it otherwise.”
“Just use each other and draw a face from a magazine,” Remus offered.
“It won’t work either,” you responded now, “We’ve both been models for the class, they know our bodies.”
Remus tried not to blush at the thought of Sirius and you, naked in the centre of a room for hours on end while people stared and drew all the small details of your bodies. The details that he assumed had only been seen by the other, now he regretted not taking the class, but scolded himself out of those stupid thoughts.
He sighed, “Ask James?”
“Regulus’ gonna do James,” Sirius responded, “He was obviously more than thrilled to oblige him.”
“We wouldn’t be asking you if we didn’t need you, please Moony!”
Remus looked to the side, licking his lips before biting on the bottom one and sighing, however could he say no to the two of you. “Okay,” he whispered.
“Wait, really?” you asked in disbelief, a huge smile dancing on your lips, it made you look stunning.
He nodded, “But you’ll owe me, big one.”
You leaned in to hug him and then Sirius did the same, both of you sandwiching Moony in between the two of you.
“Anything for Moony,” Sirius added.
Just a few days later, you were outside of one of the classrooms. It was a smaller cosy one that tended to be used for models, with huge windows but near the top of the building so no one would be able to look inside. You had rented it for the rest of the day since both you and Sirius were determined to finish in one sitting, and neither of you was sure if Remus would subject himself to more than that either.
“You think he’ll come?” you asked as you looked at your watch for the third time that day.
“He’ll come, luv. Don’t worry about it.”
You sighed, Remus was seldom late. And it took you some time to convince him, you were scared he wouldn’t want to anymore.
You were fumbling with the keys to the room, and just as you inserted them inside the keyhole, you heard a fumbling at the end of the corridor.
“Sorry I’m late,” he said, his bag hanging on the side and a coat hanging on the other side. I got held up by the traffic, “I brought the car since it said it was gonna rain, thought I could give you both a ride back, when we were done.”
You smiled when you spotted him and flipped the keys as Sirius gave you an “I told you so look”.
Remus was breathing heavily when he reached the two of you, “and then I couldn’t find the room, this place is a bloody maze.”
Both you and Sirius chuckled at that. “We arrived late to our first class,” Sirius said. “The teacher told us we’d have to find our own model for being late and we made a deal to model for each other, that’s how we met.”
“I know,” Remus said. He remembered when Sirius and you became friends, first Sirius didn’t shut up about you, then he introduced you to each other, and he understood why Sirius couldn’t shut up about you. Remus and Sirius went way back, they had been friends since elementary, along with James, Peter, Lily, Marlene and Mary. You had quickly gotten along with all of them, and they had made you a part of their little group.
Finally, the door clicked open and you pushed on it, allowing both boys to get in before shutting it down and putting both the hand lock and the latch bolt. Remus threw you a look. “We’ve heard stories of people walking in on people painting and ruining their stuff by knocking things out. I doubt you’d want someone walking in on you.”
Remus nodded and moved to sit on the small coach on the side. Thankfully the room was designed in a way to make models feel at ease. There was a music box where you could play tapes on the side, a sofa for them to feel comfortable, and then there was a table in the middle of the room. Both you and Sirius walked to the closet and he pulled on the easels while you went for the props you were planning to use. A small basket filled with fruits. “You brought the sheet?”
“On my bag,” he said as he nodded to the side.
“Kay,” you said as you leaned down to get it.
“You may start changing Moons,” Sirius said, as the boy moved to help him with the easel. They had one in their apartment, and Remus already knew how to set it up from seeing Sirius do it so many times before.
He swallowed and made sure to finish setting up the easel before nodding and walking towards the table. Sirius was taking off his leather jacket, and Remus attempted to ignore the way his friend’s muscles bent as he did. Sirius had always been beautiful, but this attraction he felt for his best friend was relatively new, he could barely stand it.
You were still looking for the props when you turned around and spotted Remus pulling his soft brown jumper over his head. He wore a soft beige cotton shirt underneath it that was just a little tight over his arms. You tried not to bite your lips as you stared. Both Sirius and you had talked about how pretty you both thought Remus was, what a shame it was he wasn’t into either of you, if only you knew.
Sirius gave you an amused look, his lips curling into a mocking smile and his brows shooting up and down. You pushed him lightly with your shoulder and walked toward the table before your cheeks warmed even further.
“We’ll do mine first,” Remus explained, at least my sketch, Sirius’ next and then we’ll alternate.
“You’ll do different poses?” Remus asked as he looked up at you, pulling the other shirt over his shoulders little after. Sirius tried not to laugh at the way you were looking at his friend. He had already seen how ripped Remus was, they were roommates, after all.
“Yeah,” you responded as you got a hold of yourself. “We are gonna make it seem like we drew different people.”
Remus nodded in response. He was slightly self-conscious about his scars, he’d gotten them as a kid in an accident. His parents were zoologists and worked with wolves, they had taken a puppy home since he was hurt, and Remus thought it was a dog. He pulled the hurt animal out of the cage to “play with it” but accidentally grabbed him from the part he’d been hurt, the animal retaliated by slashing him, face, torso, back, and legs. Remus had been 4 and had no way to defend himself, he also didn’t want to hurt the puppy so he allowed it to happen. When his parents found him, he was crying in a pool of blood, and the wolf pup had hidden somewhere in their garden.
There was apprehension in your eyes as you stared at his scars, not because they were ugly, you thought Remus was beautiful, but because you thought of the pain they had once caused him. You cleared your throat. “I got this for you,” you explained as you showed him the basket of fruits, you had bought them all yesterday and left them in the small fridge in the room. “You’ll be holding in both of your arms, it’s like a recreation of an older painting,” you explained.
Remus nodded, taking in the information as he fumbled with the button of his trousers. Half focused on what you said, half mortified over getting naked in front of you and Sirius.
You pulled the basket in your hands again, “Kind of like this, okay?” you said as you grabbed the basket in the way he would be grabbing it, giving the fruits one last arrangement and taking a picture for reference in case they moved around. He gave you an understanding nod and you gave him a thumbs up in return. Sirius walked over to take Remus’ clothes from the table, and hastily dropped them over the smaller sofa, bringing over a bottle of wine, a decanter and an empty cup.
“Our concept is based on gods, she’s going for Bacchus,” he explained, Remus was fumbling around with the trousers at the end of his feet, taking longer than he normally would to take off his clothes, Sirius obviously noticed. “She wants to capture the youth and lust of winemaking.”
Remus gave him somewhat of a stern look and Sirius smiled cheekily in return. “And yours?” he asked.
“Eros and Psyche,” Sirius responded with a slight tilt of his head.
“And Psyche?”
“Don’t worry your pretty head with it yet,” Sirius added condescendingly and got a shove from Remus in return.
You were looking at the two of them with a smile, you’d always loved the relationship with the two, there was never a time they were more at ease than when they were with each other.
Sirius sighed, and you smiled. Remus still felt nervous, taking his socks off and keeping his boxers on as he waited for new instructions. Sirius gave him a look as he sat on the window just behind you, and your easel, looking at how you sharpened your pencils and charcoal for sketching. “Would you help me pose him?” You asked, turning your head slightly to Sirius before focusing again on your pencils and canvas, taking a ruler to break down the piece into smaller squares to make sure you got your proportions right.
Sirius nodded, jumped down from the window seal and picked up the white sheet he’d brought from his backpack.
“Time to take them off, mate,” he said. Remus swallowed and nodded, taking off his boxers carefully and throwing them in the same direction Sirius had thrown the rest of his clothes. Then he placed his hand over himself and stared in between you and Sirius nervously. You were still focused on your canvas, so you didn’t quite see the interaction, but Sirius did and smiled. He had the inkling little feeling that maybe Remus was into you. He had told you about it but you had shrugged it off, Remus had become something like your best friend, there was no way.
But Sirius had known Remus for longer than you did, and he knew his friend like he knew the back of his hand –and boy he knew that one well from seeing it so much while painting. And the nervous glances Remus kept throwing your way, made him feel a little more confident of his theory. Perhaps all the two of you needed was a little push, and then that one recurring dream he had could become a reality.
Sirius extended the sheet over Remus and placed it on his arms, just falling off the shoulders like some kind of shawl, he then accommodated the sheet covering one of his legs and his private parts. Remus seemed reassured by that, and Sirius again, tried not to smile knowingly. He then passed Remus the basket and helped him accommodate it in place.
“It's not too heavy is it?”
“Not right now,” Remus said as he held it between his hands. Sirius then proceeded to place his hands on Remus’ bare back and traced his fingers over his friend’s muscles in a reassuring and discreet manner, giving a light squeeze near his neck.
“Relax,” he said as he looked at the boy. Sirius had no idea how little relaxing that devious smile of his was, Remus’ skin burned at his touch. “Lean your head back a little bit, would you?” Remus swallowed and did as told, anything to have Sirius step away before he noticed the things he was actually doing to him. “A little bit more,” Sirius insisted and placed his hand on the boy’s neck. Allowing it to linger as he moved him around as he pleased.
“Hey Angel,” he called, and you looked up, smiling at the sight of the two boys, “Is this all right?”
“Come here,” you told Sirius, he finally let go of Rem and walked towards you, standing just behind the easel just at your side. “What do you think? Isn’t he a little too stiff?”
“Yeah,” Sirius responded.
“Thought so,” you breathed and left your pencil and charcoal on the easel before walking towards Remus. “Close your eyes, would you?” you asked softly. Remus hesitated before doing what told. “Take a deep breath for me, good, that’s good… Remember that time you told me about your trip to Dover? You told me you climbed to the very top of the castle, that it was freezing cold and that no one but you had been brave enough to climb up to the roof. It was empty but there was a thin layer of snow on the ground. So thin that when you pressed your feet, it melted away allowing you to see the stone.
“You mentioned you leaned over the edges and got to see the castle, the grounds and then, then you got to see the ocean.” Remus' tense self was slowly starting to subdue. “You said you could hear the distant waves, and then you felt a small prickle in your cheek.”
“It started snowing,” Remus said softly.
You smiled, took a grape from his basket and placed it near his mouth, pushing it in between his lips. He opened his mouth when he felt the fruit and ate it with a frown, opening his eyes to look at it, and then at you. You were so bloody close to him.
“There you go,” you said with a smile. “Much better now, keep that relaxed face of yours so I can paint it, will you?” you added teasingly. Remus was munching on the grape with a confused and yet amused face. You gave him a short wink and then went back to your spot, missing the slight flush that coated his cheek.
“Comfortable?” Sirius teased.
Remus threw him a look and you swatted Sirius with your pencil softly. “Stop teasing him, he’ll tense again,” you scolded. Remus couldn’t help but smile at the small interaction between the two and you finished up with the sharpening, picking up the pencil and starting to sketch. Remus let his head fall back as you traced, closing his eyes and changing his stance every once in a while, pulling his head off and watching you knit your brows together as you moved your pencil over the canvas.
“You’re getting the proportions wrong,” Sirius said. “His hand is bigger than that.”
You grumbled in return, “I know! I just–“ you pulled an eraser and started to furiously move it over the canvas, Remus was looking at the two of you carefully. “I can’t get it to work out.”
“Want help?”
“You can’t keep helping me when I don’t get the hands right…”
“Why not? You always help me with light and shadow, you’re an expert.”
You sighed, “It’s not the same Sirius.”
“Yes it is,” he said in a no-nonsense kind of way, then he placed his hand over yours, and started guiding your sketch. “Come on, loosen up.”
Meanwhile, Remus was looking at the domestic scene between the two with a mix of admiration and longing. The two of you looked stunning as you painted him, both deeply focused on the canvas, with a casual glance straight at his hand holding the basket, he smiled as he saw Sirius lean even closer to you, obviously unnecessary but something Sirius did often anyway. He had never seen his friend as smitten with a human as he had seen him with you.
Eventually, Sirius let go of your hand and you added a few other touches. “Do you want to start painting or should I start with my sketch first?” he asked.
You turned your head and stared at the cloudy sky, “I’ll use the sunlamp for my lighting, we can do yours if you want, that way you take advantage of natural light for your drawing.”
He nodded, “Okay, get ready, I’ll work on the canvas.”
You sent him a short wink and he walked behind his easel. Remus took the time to put down the basket and accommodate the sheet around him a little better. “Cold?” you asked, “we can turn off the AC.” He shook his head. Just self-conscious then, you realised. Well, he won’t have to worry too much about that.
You took your hoodie off and then, but it wasn’t until you took a hold of your shirt and flipped it over your head that Remus realised what was going on. Your hands were behind your bra when he averted his gaze to the side completely blushed. “Sirius, If you’re painting her, can I leave?”
“Of course not,” Sirius said simply, “I’m painting the both of you.”
“You what?”
“Eros and Psyche, remember?”
“But you said you couldn’t paint people you’ve fucked,” he retorted in a rather accusing manner.
“Yeah, that’s why I’ll switch her hair colour and you’ll cover her face.”
“You never said I’d have to pose with your naked girlfriend!”
“It’s okay Rem, I don’t mind, I’ve been a nude model for the class a couple of times.”
Remus, as he would naturally turn to look at you when you spoke, but quickly turned his head to the side when he realised you were now completely naked.
But I do! He thought as he tried to think of anything other than the curve of your breasts. Naked grandma, naked grandma.
You eyed Sirius, “Maybe we can–“ you started, biting your lip.
“Nonsense. We’re all adults, go on.”
You gave Sirius a stern look and he gave you back an equally determined one, nodding towards Remus, a clear indication for you to walk his way.
You took a deep breath but did what he wanted anyway. Walking towards Remus and gently placing a hand on his shoulder, “Hey, If you really don’t want to do this-“
Remus’ head snapped your way, he focused his eyes on yours as best as he could, “No, I– I just– I wasn’t mentally prepared.”
You smiled and tilted your head. You could see the self-restraint he was using not to look at your chest, Sirius was really trying not to cackle behind you as he sharpened his pencils, “You can look,” you said, “you’re gonna see them anyway Rem.” He gave you a frustrated frown. You smiled teasingly in return.
He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and looked. He was about ready to just stare for half a second and then move on with his life but he couldn’t quite look away. Not when he saw them perk up for him, his warm breath so close to you causing such a reaction.
“They’re beautiful, aren’t they?” Sirius said with a smile from behind the easel. The kind of confident smile of one who knew he could touch them whenever he wanted.
Remus cleared his throat and looked at Sirius. Naked grandma. NAKED GRANDMA. “Go on with your painting, yeah?”
“You haven’t even posed,” he retorted with a smile. You turned your head over your shoulder to look at your boyfriend, “where do you want me?”
Remus tried not to think of those words, and not to memorise them either. He didn’t want to have dreams about it. Sirius on the other hand, smirked and walked over to the two of you, “Alright mate, time to lose the sheet,” he said as he pulled the one thing covering Remus’ body. While Rem shot to cover himself, Sirius gave you a look and then winked.
You narrowed your eyes at him as you tilted your head, what the hell are you up to, pretty boy?
“Okay, Moony. I need you to sit on the table.” Remus did as told, “Now open your legs a little bit.” Remus gave a stern look to Sirius but did as told, still using his hands to cover himself. “Please Rem,” he added, “I’ll show you mine and you’ll show me yours? Take those hands off, would you? We’ve both seen plenty of dicks already.”
You were looking at Remus’ clavicle as he did, trying to avoid the spot that made him so self-conscious, but Sirius was way bolder than that, and he stared straight at his friend’s cock instead. Was that a twitch? Sirius smiled, bit his lip, and turned back to you.
“You’ll be in between his legs, he’ll have his arms around your arms and his head on your shoulder, is that okay?”
“Okay,” you said simply. Now, had it been any other person, perhaps you wouldn’t have accepted the pose, but this was Remus, you trusted Remus.
Remus, who realised there was no use in arguing, did what Sirius had described, leaning forward so you wouldn’t have to stand so close to him. He tried to avoid his chest brushing into yours, ever the gentleman. Anyone else might have just taken advantage.
Sirius nodded and walked behind his easel again, “Luv, hide your head on his neck, okay?”
“Mhm,” you said and did as told. Being so close to Remus was making you feel things. He was really warm and strong. You enjoyed the way he held you, Sirius could tell. He also knew you as the back of his hand.
“Would you mind leaning in a little closer to him?”
You nodded and did as told. Now your chest was brushing against his, Remus could feel your hardened nipples against his chest, the tip of his ears was now red, even if a good deal of blood was going south. You assumed it was due to embarrassment.
Sirius had already started to draw, and you decided you’d try and ease him, you bent your elbows and wrapped your arms around his shoulders, allowing his grip to become a lot more secure, “It's okay,” you whispered. “Sirius is way faster at sketching than me, he’ll be over in a second. I’m sorry for making you uncomfortable.”
“No, I’m sorry for making this so awkward,” he said softly. “I bet you are used to this and I’m making it weird.”
“Not really,” you said honestly, leaning your head on his shoulder a little more, that was something you had done often, with clothes, though. “I’ve never modelled with anyone other than Sirius. I only said I would because it would be you.”
“You what?” Remus asked, you accommodated and your lips accidentally brushed against his neck, he felt the blush spreading, he was losing control. He couldn’t keep thinking of a naked grandma when he had you pressed against him, whispering on his neck, your warm breath against his skin igniting him like a match against dry leaves.
“I only agreed to Sirius’ pose when he proposed it because you’d be the male model. I don’t like modelling so close to other people.”
Remus sighed, closing his eyes, his cock was already half hard, and here you were talking to him about trusting him to be the male model, he was a total dick.
“Luv, lean in a little closer would you?” Sirius asked.
Remus didn’t even have enough time to give Sirius a warning glance since you confidently did as told, and that’s when you felt it: hard, brushing just under your belly button. You pulled apart just for a second and looked down.
He is huge.
Remus was beet red and staring at Sirius with a mix of exasperation, embarrassment, and anguish. But neither of you seemed to mind, you just pulled your hips slightly back and went back to the previous pose, your nipples brushing against his chest again and making his boner grow even more.
“It’s okay,” you reassured, “It’s actually quite normal, you’d be surprised how many times it happens.”
Remus had his eyes closed shut and was trying not to think, not of your soft chest against him, not of your soft breath fanning against his skin, and certainly not of how close your pussy was to his dick.
You could tell how much more tense he was now. “Do you want to take a break?”
“No,” he said quickly. “Let’s just get over with it.” The last thing Remus needed was to take a break only for it to happen again the minute your skin came into contact with his.
“Are you sure? You’re a lot more tense now, Moons,” you said with a frown as you gently brushed your hand on his soft back, tracing a finger over one of his scars without quite realising you were doing it.
He shook his head, “No, it’s okay.”
“Remus–“ Sirius started.
“It won’t work,” he snapped a little harsher now.
Sirius’s perspicacious look turned into a smirk, he knew he wasn’t imagining things. He gently placed his pencil on the easel and walked over to Remus. “Why not Moony?”
“Sorry?” He asked, nervous. You felt him tense even further and pulled back, he got a glimpse of your breasts again and he only became harder.
“Sirius, you’re making him more nervous,” you added with a frown, your hand still brushing reassuringly on his back.
“No,” he replied, and focused his gaze back on Remus. “I want to know why it wouldn’t work.”
Remus grabbed the basket that was still lying around and placed it over his lap, covering his ever-growing boner.
“You don’t have to respond to that, Rem.”
“He does,” Sirius insisted.
Remus looked at Sirius in disbelief before huffing. “You’re making your bloody gorgeous girlfriend, pose with me and hug me, and lay her head on my shoulder, all while naked. And you’re looking at us, with that, piercing fucking gaze of yours while you do. A break is not going to help because you’ll make us do it again!”
Sirius still had a stern face on, but you noticed the small twist on his lips, he was holding back a smirk.
“Sirius,” you warned.
“No,” he said and focused on Remus again. “Remus, you think my girlfriend’s gorgeous?”
“Everyone thinks your girlfriend’s gorgeous.”
“No, Remus. Do you think she is?”
Remus avoided Sirius’ gaze, red with embarrassment and anger. More at himself than anyone else. His jaw was clenched and his eyes squeezed shut.
Sirius threw you an amused look and you gave him an impatient one. You could tell he was playing with Moony and you didn’t like it one bit. Sirius, though, wasn’t one to stop things so easily, and he pulled you softly from your spot in between his legs and took it, placing both hands on Remus’ shoulders who just tensed even further. He leaned closer to his ear, “I’m asking you something, Remus.”
Remus didn’t reply, the muscles of his jaw clenching and unclenching. You were about to pull Sirius back but he spoke again, “I’m asking because–” he tone was softer, the threatening tone from earlier fading into a more lewd one, “It’s okay of you do,” he whispered, and then pressed his lips to Remus’ tense shoulder. Remus’s eyes snapped open and he spotted you, you gave him a short smile, and then he felt Sirius’s lips pressed against him again, “because we both have the hots for you as well,” Sirius mumbled against his skin.
Remus swallowed thickly at that, and you could feel a familiar pulsing between your legs.
Remus pushed Sirius off, the other boy just stared at his friend with a smile, “don’t play with me, Black!” he warned, angry and steady.
“He’s not,” you interceeded. Sirius was a flirt, it was hard to believe him sometimes, but for you, who had been with him for a while, it was easy to see the shine in his eyes when he saw Remus, it wasn’t there when he saw other men. You walked over to Sirius and took hold of his arm, laying your head gently on his shoulder and allowing your entire front to be exposed to Remus. “The question is, Remus, do you like us back?”
Remus’ breath was caught in his throat, he wasn’t sure what to respond, could he even?
“And what does that mean?”
You shot Sirius a glance, there was a silent understanding between the two of you, a small nod from Sirius, and you walked closer to Remus, “It means we like hanging out with you,” you said softly and took a step towards him, “It means we like having you around, It means we like it when your eyes brighten as you speak of a new book you love and it means we love the way your hair falls on your face when you forget your umbrella and you borrow one of ours.” You were dangerously close to him now, “It means we like it when you stand close to us, it means we would like to touch you,” you placed a hand on his leg, and traced from his knee to the thick of his muscle, and left it there while making soft circles with your thumb.
“It means when we invited you to model for us we were being selfish, we wanted to have more of you than we normally did,” Sirius said, also walking closer, “It means I specifically had to wear bigger pants because I knew the moment I saw you naked along with her, my mind would roam, and take me back to my dreams.”
“Your dreams?” Remus asked as he gulped, gaze darting between your hand on his leg and Sirius approaching both of you.
“Our dreams,” you interceeded, having him turn back to look at your face. “The question is, Remus–“ You grabbed onto the basket and started to drag it away from him. “Do you want us? Or is this just a natural reaction?” you asked, nodding back to his hard cock, trying not to lick your lips as you did.
Sirius still hadn’t touched Remus, but he was standing so close he’d only have to lean in to kiss the boy’s neck. “I–“ Remus hesitated, and looked at Sirius, trying to find confirmation. He could barely believe what was going on, perhaps he had fallen asleep on your shoulder and this was just a figment of his eager imagination.
Sirius smiled and nodded down. His pants were big, but not big enough to hide the tent that had formed in his pants. Remus swallowed again. By now you had already discarded the basket of fruit, a couple of them rolling out and scattering on the floor with a loud thud. None of the three seemed to hear it, all of your gazes were firmly set on each other.
“It is real, Remus,” you said and leaned close enough to kiss his neck near the spot Sirius had kissed initially. You had wanted to do that while Sirius was sketching the two of you, and you took the chance to finally do it. Still, neither you nor Sirius had touched Remus’ cock, you wanted him to say yes before you did something irreparable. But unlike Sirius, you didn’t leave your kiss as a small innocent one, instead, you opened your mouth to his skin and started licking and sucking lightly.
A strangled moan escaped Remus’ lips. and you smiled, continuing to kiss him in the same way, eager to hear the sound again.
“Should we take that as a yes?” Sirius asked, voice raspy and low from how turned on he was at the sight of the two of you.
Remus let out a soft scoff, and then he pulled you from his neck, he hated the disappointed glance you had as he held your face in between his hands. Your eyes were blown with lust and your lips were wet from the kiss.
You swallowed, ready to pull apart but Remus dragged your head towards his and leaned in just enough to plant a desperate kiss on your lips. You were surprised at first but quickly melted into him, moaning as he dragged his demanding tongue over your lips, which only fueled him further, he wanted to hear those sounds, he wanted to hear the both of you make those sounds over and over again until he was deafened by them.
“Yes,” he whispered as he pulled apart, panting for air and dropping smaller kisses around your face, “bloody hell yes!” he insisted.
Sirius leaned in, and whispered on Moony’s ear, “Should have told us earlier.”  He pressed a soft kiss to his cheek, but quickly moved down to kiss the boys jaw, “We’ve been dreaming about you for months.”
“Imagine my surprise when Sirius woke me up, panting your name,” you said, “I thought it was a nightmare until I felt how hard he was.”
Remus sighed and leaned his head on your shoulder as Sirius continued to kiss him, you took that as an opportunity to place your hand on his back again, allowing your fingers to feel and touch every single part of him that you hadn’t been able to touch earlier, and that you found absolutely stunning.
Another moan escaped Remus’ mouth when he felt your hand on his back, and Sirius smiled, the wicked smile of his and he pulled apart from his neck and easily sat on the table before moving behind Remus in a kneeling position, taking both of his shoulder and pulling him back from the hunch he’d been on. The sight of both boys almost set you on fire, Sirius noticed, he noticed almost everything.
“Moony, love,” he said as he leaned into the boy’s neck and allowed his hand to softly massage Remus’ back muscles, “Isn’t she stunning?”
You threw Sirius an inquisitive look and he just winked, he seemed to always know what to do.
“She is,” Remus breathed, eyes hooded as he allowed Sirius to touch him, clearly lost on him.
Sirius smiled, “I want you to touch her,” he said with a smirk, “touch her like you wanted to touch her when I was drawing the two of you behind the easel. I saw you looking at her, I saw the way your hands fought to stay in place.”
“Sirius,” Remus warned.
But Sirirus’ smirk only grew wider, he knew his words were sending both you and Remus into a state of absolute frenzy, all he’d have to do was push you into each other, “Touch her, I know she wants it as much as you do.”
Remus was hesitant, but he placed his hand on your shoulder and dragged you closer to the two of them in a soft pull. You looked up at him and smiled, squaring your shoulders and allowing him to see your almost throbbing nipples, desperate to be touched, and to be held by either of the two.
He was slow and hesitant, allowing his hand to fall from your shoulder to your arms, and then to your waist, and to the small of your back. Sirius placed a soft kiss just over Remus’ ear and then whispered, “Touch her, Remus, touch the place you’ve wanted to touch since you saw that little black bra of hers that makes me lose my mind.”
Remus breathed, he remembered the little piece perfectly, he allowed his hand to drag up, and let his thumb rest right under your breast, feeling the soft bounce of it and gently rubbing underneath, an innocent touch, almost a graze, nothing in comparison to the way Sirius would sometimes grab at them, and yet, it was just making you wetter. “Remus,” you whined as you leaned your head on his free shoulder. That seemed to be the fuel he needed to drag his hand even further up and allow his thumb to brush against your nipple. You clenched against nothing as he did, and moaned. He had a small scar tracing just around his thumb, the feeling of textures against your skin dragging you to heaven.
Sirius smiled at your reactions and started to kiss his neck. Which had Remus’ head tilt back in pleasure. That’s when you leaned your hand down again, eager to feel him, you were gentle and decided to give him enough time to stop you if he wanted, but the slow massaging of your hand towards his cock was only making Remus grow harder, a small droplet of precum already coming from his tip. He hadn’t even dared to dream of such a moment, and here you were, making it happen. When your hand finally wrapped around him he let out a breathy moan, his hand on your breast tightening. You smiled and pressed a soft kiss to his shoulder.
“May I?” you asked softly.
“Please,” he managed to say, Sirius chuckled at his neediness but Remus was quicker and pulled on his hair to drag him to his mouth. The longer-haired boy was surprised at first but quickly smirked into Remus’ demanding kiss, swallowing all the moans that would leave him as you slowly brushed your fingers over his cock. First, tracing a thin line from the bottom to the top, right over the pulsing vein. And then you wrapped your hand around him, firm but gentle, and rubbed the tip with your thumb.
Sirius pulled from the kiss that Remus chased into just to let you hear his moans and whispered, “Do you hear that, love?” he said as he placed a hand on Remus’ neck to keep his desperate lips from crashing against his mouth again. “You’re turning him into an animal.”
“We are,” you responded and tightened your grip around him, starting only now to gently stroke. You got to hear another moan from Moony before Sirius returned to kiss him. You leaned your head on Remus’ shoulder again, that place proving to be one of your favourite sports of the night, and started to trace kisses up his neck. You could feel his reactions in the way he would sometimes squeeze your breasts a little harder, or when he moved his hand down your waist. “And he makes such lovely sounds, doesn’t he?”
Sirius hummed in return, not daring to tear his lips away from the kiss.
Then you reached Remus’ ear. “If only you knew how wet you’re making me,” you whispered, a sly, fox-like smile appearing on your lips. Sirius threw you a side glance in between kisses and raised one of his eyebrows at you.
“Show him then,” he said before going back to kiss Remus, but using one of his hands to place it on the boy’s waist. “Pull back a little, Moons.”
Remus did as told, giving you enough space to be able to climb into the table as well, both legs on either side of one of his, and then slowly you let yourself down onto him, sighting at the feeling of his muscles against your sex. Remus gave you an encouraging squeeze on the waist, and that was enough for you to start grinding yourself onto his leg. Somehow, you managed to maintain the strokes on his cock as you rubbed onto him.
“Do you feel that, love?” Sirius asked as he broke the kiss to have the two of them look at you. You had your eyes closed and were focused on both your hips and hand movements. You felt Remus’ cock twitch, but you didn’t know it had been because he was looking at you. “Do you feel how wet you’ve made her?”
Remus looked at his glistening leg as you slid down and then up again, firmly pressing yourself against him, even if it was hard with the position you were in. He flexed his muscles and he felt your hand tremble in his cock, “She’s so pretty, Pads. You get to see her like this all the time?”
Sirius chuckled and decided to kiss Remus’ neck, so they could both continue delighting at the sight of you riding his leg. Remus seemed hesitant at first, but he dragged his hand down to your waist and towards your leg. Clearly giving in to the temptation to touch.
“Go ahead, she likes it,” Sirius encouraged in a chuckle and Remus didn’t think twice. You stiffened when you felt his hand brush against you as you pushed yourself into him, now opening your eyes to figure out whose hand had been bold enough. You smirked when you realised who it had been.
“Still curious?” you asked and pushed yourself towards his hand again.
Remus didn’t speak, instead, he focused on brushing his fingers over your folds which had you sight in content. But Remus was slightly hesitant as if he wasn’t sure how to touch you properly. When Sirius realised the lack of moans, he decided he’d help. He placed a quick kiss on Remus’ temple and then moved behind him again. Allowing one of his hands to rest on Moony’s neck and then using the other to trace his arm until he reached the hesitant hand still brushing against your sensitive spots.
“Like this,” he said as he took hold of his hand and started making his movements more determined. You moaned at the new, more purposeful touch, and Sirius’ smirk grew. “Slow and determined,” he instructed. Remus himself found your clit after that, and he gently pressed his finger over it, testing.
“Fuck do that again,” you managed to whisper as you leaned your head on his shoulder again, Sirius placed a soft comforting kiss on your temple, your hands on Remus’ cock becoming dumber as the pleasure consumed you.
Remus did as told, and you moved your hips towards his fingers almost instinctively. “Such a fast learner,” Sirius praised, and you’d swear you saw Remus inflate slightly at his words.
“Yeah, Moony!” you sighed, voice mellow, something in between words and a moan. “You’re amazing,” you added as you kissed his neck, chasing all the way to his mouth. The hand that Sirius used to teach him, had long forgotten its purpose and had somehow found its way to your breast, pinching and squeezing like he knew you loved. His lips glued to Moony’s neck in the meantime.
Moony pressed a tentative finger to your entrance, you smiled into the kiss, and pushed into him, he bit your lips as his finger dug inside you, “Fuck,” he whispered into your mouth, “so tight.” You clenched around him, as you pulled from the kiss and brushed the tip of his cock with your thumb, you were eager to hear another one of those melodic moans of his. And you did, reeling on the power he had given you before going back to kiss him.
“She is Moony, it’ll feel insane around your cock too, I promise,” Sirius whispered to his ear. If you had been thinking properly, you might have swatted him for assuming how things would end, but the idea of having Remus’ cock inside of you only made you wetter, your hips chasing his finger a little more desperate as you used it to chase your own pleasure.
Remus used his free hand to take yours from his cock and placed it on his shoulder since he knew that would help you be a little more steady, he missed your touch, but the moans he pulled from you were enough compensation. He went for another finger and you moaned at how much more full you felt. Remus had longer fingers than Sirius did, and the scars added a layer of textures that you had never felt before but that you could easily get used to.
His touch was much more curious and soft than Sirius’ had been the first time, and you’d be lying if you said it wasn’t aiding you into a state of absolute bliss. Sirius, ever the clever, figured out you were close in a second. He pulled Moony deeper into the table, pulling you along with him, took off his shirt and moved behind you. Both of his tights around yours, Moony’s in between. He pressed himself onto you allowing you to feel his warm and slightly sweaty skin. You could feel his boner pressing onto your ass which had you sight in pleasure.
“How’s that, my love,” he said. “Do you like having Moony’s hand all over you? His fingers inside?”
“Sirius,” you sighed. His hands were now on your hips, helping you ride Moony’s fingers with much more ease. Moony’s fingers got faster, and you could feel Sirius holding back from dry humping you from behind, his hips sometimes chasing against your ass, you had neglected him a little. “Like that,” you managed to whisper once Remus did a particular movement, a flick of his finger, and he instantly repeated it.
“She’s close Moony,” Sirius warmed as he felt you tense, he moved his hands on your body reassuringly, but in the way that he knew you loved, you tensed, tightening around Remus’ fingers, and then let out a long, and quiet moan. “There you go,” Sirius added softly as he brushed his fingers over your leg, both of them helping you ride down from your high. Eventually, Remus took his fingers from inside you and placed a reassuring hand on your leg. You closed your eyes, head still pressed onto his shoulder as you breathed in, Remus had always smelled delightful, but you’d swear he smelled even better today.
You then reached your hand down but Sirius beat you to it, “My turn,” he said as he pushed you closer to Remus and took a hold of his cock. “You don’t mind, do you?” he asked Remus with a smile, knowing well his answer.
Remus gulped and shook his head, which had Sirius smile like a wolf and start playing around with his friend’s cock. He clearly knew what he was doing much better than you did since he had Remus panting and moaning a lot faster than you had. He also had you firmly pressed against Remus as he touched him, if you had wanted to –which you obviously didn’t– you wouldn’t be likely to get out in between the two. Still, you busied yourself with kissing Remus’ neck again, that spot that you seemed to be addicted to.
Remus sighed, and you started to brush your hands all over his body, moaning and grunting growing louder. Sirius felt his friend’s cock twitch in his hand and he knew he was close, so he stopped. Remus gave him a pleading look but he pulled his hand back completely and the you along with him. You didn’t realise what was going on until you saw Remus’ throbbing cock and confused look.
“Sirius!” you reprimanded. Remus seemed to be struggling to form proper words.
“He won’t get to fuck you if he comes into my hand,” Sirius responded then leaned his head into your shoulder and looked at Remus with a knowing pout. “Would you rather come into my hand than feel her tight little pussy around you, Moons?”
Remus scoffed. He wasn’t sure what he was expecting by getting sexually involved with Sirius Black, but he should have fucking expected this kind of behaviour.
Sirius smiled, “How about we help him cool down a little but keep him hard, darling?”
You leaned your head back onto Sirius, opening your legs a little for Remus to get a better view of your glistening sex. “What do you like, Remus?” You asked in the most innocent tone. As if you were asking about the taste of ice cream he preferred and not the kind of shit that turned him on.
But frankly, neither you nor Sirius would have to do anything special to turn him on, he already pretty much worshipped you. Remus was still at a loss of words, he stared at both of you, then down between your legs and then up at your faces again.
“Do you want me to eat her out?” Sirius asked as he tilted his head.
“Or would you rather see me blow him?”
“Cowgirl?”
“Doggie?”
Remus was sure that if you didn’t stop you, you might just list the entire kamasutra before he made a choice, “anything.”
You tsked and shook your head, “No, Moons, that’s not the deal,” you replied. “What do you want?”
Again, he saw you tense and relax between your legs as you asked him, and he didn’t miss the smirk that drew on your lips when he started. “I want” –he hesitated– “touch him.”
“Your wish is my command,” you said with a smirk and instantly turned to Sirius, making sure to have him spin around enough so that you wouldn’t have Remus just look at your back, although he would have been more than happy staring at the way your ass moved.
“Did you hear that, Pads?”
Sirius hummed in response as he helped you accommodate, you were now cradling him. You first went for a kiss, soft, but demanding, as you two kissed, you lowered one of your hands and gripped Sirius over his pants. He moaned into your mouth and you pulled back from the kiss, no matter how addictive his lips were, you wanted Remus to hear his precious moans as well.
Remus’ hands were itching to go back to his cock when he heard Sirius’ moan. He was too pretty, both of you were, he could still barely believe what was happening, but he sure loved every bit of it. “Help me get this off,” you said as you turned to Remus and pressed your hands onto Sirius’ belt.
He raised his eyebrows amused and you gave him a short wink. He did as told. Leaning in closer and unbuckling the belt before sliding it off Sirius who was a moaning mess since your hand was still on him. Once Remus managed to move the button off, you were quick to digg your hand in and Sirius raised his hips a little to take it off along with his boxers.
Remus’ cock twitched when he saw Sirius’ hard and proud. He wanted to touch it as much as he wanted to see you touch it, but he wasn’t sure Sirius would want him to touch it so instead he moved his desperate hand to the boy’s neck. You smiled at that and brushed yourself against him, passing his cock over your folds a few times to coat him with your wetness before gripping at him securely.
“Sto–p teasing,” Sirius managed to say, and you laughed, placing a soft kiss to his cheek before wrapping your hand around him and starting to stroke. Remus seemed fascinated by the way you moved your hand on Pads, like you knew exactly what he wanted when he moaned or moved his hips slightly to the side. At some point Sirius started to chase your hand with his hips as well but Remus placed his hand on his legs to keep him down. Sirius turned to the boy with a frown and Remus smirked.
“I said I wanted her to touch you, not for you to fuck her hand,” he replied in a low tone.
You giggled at the stifled moan that left Sirius’ lips when Moony said that, and continued with your strokes, turning your wrist so you had a bit more control and toying with the tip whenever your thumb got close enough to it.
“Close,” Sirius breathed and you smiled, looking at Moony with a small smirk before pulling back a little from both of them but still stroking. Then you pulled further down and Sirius almost came in your hands at the mere image of what you were about to do. You pressed a kiss to kiss your stomach, and gently lowered down, allowing your nipples to brush over his cock causing him to shudder.
You licked your lips before going down and pressing a soft and gentle kiss over his tip, you could feel the blood rushing and his cock twitching. You then pressed your tongue to him and Sirius let out a low, almost imperceptible groan. The first, soft splurt of his cum fell on the outside of your mouth before you wrapped your lips around him and sucked the rest of him dry. By the time you were done, Sirius was panting and gripping onto Remus’ leg as he attempted to catch a breath. You raised yourself back up to look at them both.
You opened your mouth to show you had yet to swallow it all and then turned to Remus, “Want a taste?”
Sirius was already sore, and yet when Moony nodded and pulled you in for a desperate kiss, he swore he felt himself twitch again. In a matter of seconds, you had climbed onto his lap, leaning into the kiss and only pulling apart to see his reaction, a line of spit still connected the two of you as smirked.
“Fuck,” Sirius said in a low moan at the sight.
“How was it?” you asked as you bit your lip.
Remus tilted his head and dragged your hips to his, “Is not over yet, is it?”
“I meant the taste,” you replied as you rolled your hips on his cock.
He licked his lips, and laid his head on your shoulder as he looked at Sirius. “Fucking delicious,” he said.
You pressed a soft kiss to his neck. “Bet,” you added before rolling your hips against his again. “Ready?”
“Mhm.”
“Good,” you said, and then lifted yourself, brushing on his cock a couple of times before bringing your hand down to it, brushing his tip on you, making sure to brush your clit, and then slowly, sinking yourself onto him.
You breathed out as you did, getting used to his size, and he waited patiently for you to finish.
“You all right?” he asked softly.
You let out a breathy “Yeah.”
“Tell me when I can start moving.” You squeezed your walls around him. “Fuck–“
Sirius laughed from the side and placed a hand on Remus’ arm, “Did I not mention she has a tendency to do that? I almost came the first time she did it to me.”
You squeezed again and then started to move, slow and steady at first, Remus was a groaning mess again and it only fueled your resolve to continue moving and squeezing, eventually, his hips started thrusting up into yours and your movements seemed to synchronise.
“Touch her too,” Sirius suggested and Remus did as told, quickly bringing one the hands that rested on your waist to your clit. You started to roll your hips so you could increase the pressure and he helped by moving his finger closer.
“Is that good?”
“Fuck yes,” you responded.
You continued for a while, and you felt Remus get extremely close, if his moaning indicated anything but then he stopped thrusting into you and you slowed your pace with a questioning frown.
“Can…” he panted. “Can I try something?”
You nodded in return and Remus smiled, he pulled you up with his hands on your waist –his cock still inside you– and flipped you around, now your back was laying on Sirius’ chest and you could feel his semi-hard on your ass.
“Moony what are you–“ he started but was shut up by a kiss as he thrusted into you. Both the kiss and your asscheeks brushing onto him had Sirius harden even more as Remus thrust in and out of you.
“Touch her the way she likes,” he said to Sirius in between kisses and the other boy did exactly that, chasing in between the entanglement of bodies until he found your clit, tentatively, he brushed his hand down to feel where Remus and your body connected and Remus moaned at the feeling of Sirius’ hands on him again. “I said touch her,” he added with a sigh, “I want her to come again.”
Sirius smiled and pressed a short kiss to Remus’ lips. “Your wish is my command.”
Seconds later Sirius’ expert fingers were on you, brushing and circling your clit the way that made you brainless, your ass pressed onto his cock and Remus rutting into you quickly made you feel absolute bliss.
“I’m about to–“
“She as well,” Sirius said as he felt the way you moved on top of him.
Remus reeled at the thought and groaned out as he started to come, he tried to pull out but Sirius was quick to keep him in place. “She’s taking something,” he said simply, and that was enough for Remus to allow your walls to milk him. As he did, Sirius was fast with his hand and you were cumming on Remus’ cock, squeezing him even more as his pace started to slow down.
Sirius, who was already sore, came for the second time that night a little after, surprising you since you were not expecting to feel the sticky wetness against your ass.
Remus felt it too, since part of it spluttered all the way to his legs and he looked at Sirius with a mildly impressed stare.
“You two are fucking hot,” he said, unapologetically. Remus pushed into you a couple more times and then he allowed his weight to fall on both of you.
“Too heavy?” he managed to ask.
“No,” you said as you accommodated your head next to Sirius’ and pressed a soft kiss to his jaw. He sighed in contentment.
Eventually, Remus drew himself out of you and then pulled back from his position on top and instead laid with his back against the table. He bit his lip, “I guess you’ll have to find another model.”
“No way in hell we’re ever gonna look for another model,” you said with a laugh, also rolling from Sirius and letting yourself fall right in between the two of them, “Moony’s just perfect, isn’t he?”
“Thought you couldn’t paint someone you’d fucked…” he breathed.
Sirius laughed, “Well, they don’t have to know we’re a thing…”
Remus felt so many emotions at once, you were a thing, but also Sirius doesn't want people to know.
“…until after we’ve handed in the paintings, and gotten our grades,” he added with a cheeky smile.
“Besides, the sun is gone,” you added. “We’ll have to come back another day.”
“Didn’t you mention a sunlamp or something?” Remus asked.
“We’ll have to come another day,” you repeated with a smirk. And Remus gave you an impressed look.
“Do you guys have anything to do?” Sirius asked.
You shook your head and Remus said a quick “No.”
“Why?” you asked.
“I think Prongs is sleeping over at Reggie’s.”
“Is he now?” Remus questioned.
“I thought we could have a sleepover of our own.”
You scoffed a laugh, of sleep, it wouldn’t have much.
sad beginnings,
Tumblr media
summary - everyone sees you as this weird and crazy ravenclaw. everyone except remus and sirius. part 2
pairing - ravenclaw!reader x wolfstar
word count - ~1.5k
tw: angst | no happy ending (yet) | bullies | blood | scratches | self deprecation | she pronouns used
[part 1]
Your face stung like a swarm of bees.
The pace you were running through the corridors, causing the cold wind to cut through the cat scratches on your face were so sore. Cat scratches that had been put there purposefully by someone who didn’t like you; Darcy.
Her and her band of Ravenclaw elites thought they ran the House, including Philip who was like the devil incarnate. They have never liked you and have turned the majority of the school against you, claiming that you’re weird and crazy.
Weird? Maybe. Crazy? Well, you certainly wouldn’t use your pet cat to scratch out someone’s cheek just because you had a little more power over them.
Now you were going to have to walk in late to Potions, all because you’d left your textbook in your dorm and then had a run-in with Darcy and her cat.
You’d cleaned up the wound the best you could, but it was just so sore now.
The tears stung in your eyes, willing you to set them free. However, you had already figured out that tears in your cuts were worse than holding back the tears.
You took a deep breath before walking into the Potions class that Professor Slughorn taught.
He didn’t particularly care for favourites and he didn’t really have least favourites, but he did make a deal about his students being late to his lessons.
The door made a loud screech as it opened. Way to walk in subtly.
You kept your head down as everyone’s eyes turned to yours.
Lots of whispering started up and it no doubt had everything to the scratches down your cheek, and the fact you were never ever late.
“Ah. Nice of you to join us, Miss L/N.” Professor Slughorn spoke, making you cringe at his tone.
“Sorry I’m late, Sir.” You looked up at him and saw him cringe in return as he saw your cheek. He made no move to comment on it though.
“Take a seat now, please. See me after class for a detention.”
You shamefully dropped your head. Now your perfect record would be screwed over.
Sirius dramatically stood up from his chair, the sound of metal upon the stone floor grating everyone’s ears to pieces.
“Actually that won’t be necessary, Sir. Y/N gave me her textbook since I’d forgotten mine at breakfast, so Y/N went to the Hall for me to retrieve it. Wouldn’t want your precious textbooks going missing, Professor.”
“Oh, well, never mind then.” Slughorn shrugged. Sirius knew he was wrapped around Slughorn’s finger and used it to his advantage to save you a detention.
You looked over to him and smiled in thanks, but Sirius didn’t smile back. Neither did Remus. They were both looking at you with concern, or at least what you thought was concern. It might be anger for nearly getting them in trouble.
James tugged on Sirius’ shirt for him to sit down again. Sirius tugged away from him though, fists clenching against his sides as he watched you.
You attempted to find a seat then.
You walked over to a table full of other Ravenclaw girls in your year, but the one empty seat at the table instantly became unavailable as a girl dumped her bag on the chair next to her.
“Seats taken.”
“Oh, sorry.” You said softly, walking to another table where there were only three of them sat. Plenty of room.
You went to pull out a chair next to one of the guys there, only to realise there was black ink all over the stool for some reason - meaning it was also unavailable.
“Tough luck.” One of the boys said and the rest snickered.
“Miss L/N, why don’t you just go and sit over there.” Slughorn pointed his hand over to where an empty table was. It should’ve seated 6 people, but currently no one was sat there.
You nodded your head and quickly made your way to the table before any more attention could be drawn towards you.
It was a table at the back of the room and quite far out of sight of the blackboard, making it difficult to copy out the notes. You tried your best.
At one point during the lesson you turned your head to the wall to let out a few tears, knowing no one could see you. A few salty tears burned over your wound, but you bit on your lip to cover the sob that wanted to erupt from your chest.
This really fucking sucked.
You were all for self-wallowing, but when it was in the middle of a class you hated it.
There was a time and a place for it and it was not here and it wasn’t now.
You dug your blunt fingernails, from all the anxious biting, into your palms to suppress the emotions you wanted to let out. Focusing on the lesson and Slughorn’s words were your best chance of getting through this.
You were busy writing away, trying to keep up with the notes, when you felt someone sit down next to you. Your natural instinct was to tense and shuffle away only slightly, because who wanted to sit next to you if not to torment you further?
“Y/N?”
You were shocked to see Remus sat next to you.
“Oh, hi, Remus. Are you okay? Am I in the way or something?” You looked around you to make sure you weren’t.
“No, no! We- I mean, I, just wanted to ask you something?” He stumbled over his words.
“Sure.”
“Uh.. Well….”
“Oh my God, Remus! Are you okay?” You gasped when you saw a cut along his forehead, which was hidden beneath his hair and you’d only seen because of how close you were sitting.
So close, in fact, that you could smell his cologne: Cedar wood and… something else.
“Me? Are you seriously asking me that right now?” He looked shocked and you blushed like mad.
“I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have asked, it wasn’t my place. I apologise.” You shook your head and tried to refocus on your work.
“Y/N…” Remus said ever so softly.
His voice was so pretty. So delicate.
Sirius’ was more rough and deeper. Both were a song to listen to.
You didn’t reply, thinking that if you just ignored them he wouldn’t be mad at you anymore. Because he was mad, right? You shouldn’t have questioned something so personal about him.
“Y/N?” He asked again.
You’d never get over hours name sounded coming from him.
Slowly, you tilted your head towards him. Instead of being met with a furious gaze you were met with something much softer. His warm eyes looked troubled.
You looked at him nervously, hoping for the best out of whatever this situation was.
He reached up a hand towards your face, a couple of rings placed on his ridiculously well structured fingers. You followed the movement of his hand, whilst Remus followed your eyes.
His fingers carefully brushed your fallen hair that covered your cheek and only slightly pushed it to the side, his fingers barely touching your skin.
You let out a shaky breath.
You were one to wear your emotions on your sleeve and Remus had you feeling very nervous in that moment. Not nervous like you’d been around Darcy or Philip. A different kind. A better kind.
“Who did this to you?” He asked.
You looked up to see him studying the cuts like you’d seen him in the library studying for a test. He was trying to map out all the details of your scratches, so it seemed.
“What?”
“Please, Y/N. Let us know who did this to you? Hell, even what did this?”
“Us?” Was the word you chose to focus on.
“Yes—.”
“Mr Lupin, there’s a time and a place for funny business and it won’t be in my classroom.” Slughorn broke whatever moment had happened between you and Remus.
Remus had been quick to drop your hair, apologise and return to his seat.
Your cheeks flushed red with the thought of someone catching you looking, almost, intimate with Remus.
Oh God.
What if Sirius had seen?
You looked over to where Remus had rejoined Sirius. Remus was whispering to Sirius whilst you watched Sirius’ jaw click.
The chill that surpassed you when Sirius turned to face you across the room told you everything you needed to know.
Stay. The hell. Away. From. My boyfriend.
•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•
As Slughorn finished the class Remus quickly tried to stuff everything into his satchel before everyone left without him.
“C’mon! Hurry up!” Sirius urged him - only because he obviously didn’t have his own bag and made Remus carry everything.
“Shut it.” Remus snipped, shoving his textbook in his bag before grabbing his cloak and moving.
“Hey, calm down.” Sirius tried to soothe him, slipping his hand into Remus’.
“Calm down— Are you insane?”
“A bit.”
“How am I supposed to be calm when half of Y/N’s face is missing?” Remus whisper shouted and Sirius quickly pushed him back against a stone wall for a time-out.
“Calm down. I mean it, Rem.”
Remus let the cool of the stone wall sink in through his skin and allow him to breathe again.
He didn’t know what was coming over him recently.
“Y/N’s gone now, because I couldn’t pull myself together.” Remus sighed.
Sirius brought his hand up to cup underneath Remus’ chin lightly, making it so he had no choice but to look at him.
“Look at me.” Remus tried to move away, but Sirius’ hands held strong. “Hey, don’t. Look at me. We are going to find Y/N and get to the bottom of whatever has happened, okay? But you need to calm down first.”
Remus let his shoulders exhale and he nodded. “Okay.”
Sirius smiled, leaning in to give Remus a few kisses. One for listening to him and another just because he loved him so much. Sirius could really feel Remus calming down after those.
“I just… Y/N is… she means…” Remus struggled to find the right words to say, but it didn’t really matter.
“I know. She means the same to me.”
Sirius rested his forehead against Remus, as they calmed each other and maybe one day hoping you’d be right there beside them.
“Did you know…”
Fred’s already chuckling, the sight of you trying to get on your big fluffy coat whilst tipsy was cute enough, but combine it with an excited random fact? You have his heart melting like crazy. He was used to your random trivia but never grew tired of it, he loved it in fact, especially as it hardly ever related to anything you were doing.
Like when he first met you, you had tagged along with Harry and his dad, your godfather, James, to the quidditch world cup, instead of a 'did you know this about quidditch fact' whilst you walked up the stands with him him, he got a 'did you know otters hold hands while sleeping so they don’t float away from one another?'
It was safe to say he had been at your mercy ever since
"...that...one second...that s-"
“Here…” he gently interrupts your fact before you can start, helping you get your hand through the sleeve “...good girl” he pecks your forehead, adoring the the grin he receives as you cheese up at him, eyes glassy, clearly only half here but the love in your eyes shines through
After one last shout goodbye to those at the party you and Fred brave the cold, his hand finding yours before guiding into his larger pocket to keep it warm
“It’s snowing” you note, free hand coming to wrap around his bicep, as your cheek presses into it
“It is...almost as pretty as you my love” he flirts, adoring your giggle before you let out a little yip, head shooting up to look at him as you move away slightly to smile up at him “What?”
“I forgot to tell you the fact” you say softly and his heart warms, secretly glad you remembered
“Hit me” he flashes you a goofy grin, unable to hold it back as he wraps his arm around you and leads you down the now snow dusted path
“Did you know that Scotland's national animal is a unicorn because there was this wizard whose pet unicorn followed him into a muggle battle?” you say, a little slurred and in a higher pitched tone, the same one you always used when saying your little facts
Fred chuckles, pulling you a little closer into his side “Seriously?”
“Siriusly” you start giggling
“See this is the stuff Binns should have taught us…” Fred shakes his head “...actually you know what lovely? You should try and poach his job” he presses a kiss to your hat clad temple
“Nah” you shake your head
“Why not? You love facts, adorable at telling them, cute as a button so all the guys and gals will crush on you, be closer to your dads and uncle” he lists with a shrug, genuinely surprised you wouldn’t be interested
You stop walking, gently removing yourself from Fred's grip and taking his hands in yours instead. His eyebrows pinch but his face soon softens into a smile as he sees you shining up at him
“Because then I wouldn’t see my favourite person everyday...” you answer simply, easily, almost like it should have been obvious but the next bit floors him "...and when I find out a new fact I can't tell anyone else until i've told you, I always tell you first"
He always felt it in his heart that he was going to marry you one day, but this was the moment he knew for sure...so much that in less than a weeks time you would be saying that three letter word to make it a reality
“Merlin I love you...” the words tumble out breathlessly in the same manor as yours "...so much...so...so much" he emphasises squeezing your hands
Your smile widens at that, a giggle escaping as you step forward, chests grazing “Ditto” you shine, placing a sweet kiss to his nose
He doesn’t let you pull away fully, instead dips down to capture your lips, hands slipping out of yours to cup your chilled cheeks while the snow lightens around you for a moment, large flakes fluttering down slowly like you were in some movie. The cold forgotten for a moment as your warm lips dance with one another, your hands gliding up to find his chest, not caring that it made your fingertips go numb
Your lips still ghost the others as you break away, your cheeks rising with your smile in his light grip as you whisper “Did you know if you remind yourself you aren’t a fish your hiccups will stop?”
“You're pulling my leg” he whispers back
“Wanna bet Weasley?” you say letting your lips meet again tentatively
“With you? Always little wolf”
Can i request something bit angsty? 🥺 its totally fine if you dont wanna write it tho!
I was thinking, wolfstar x reader got into an argument and reader started to occlude and the boys got scared they might be out of line bcs she only occlude when shes really hurting?
this is my SHIT - love me some hurt/comfort. thanks for requesting, lovie 🫶
poly!wolfstar x fem!readerCW: hurt/comfort, arguing, mention of past family discourse, toxic family memories
“I’m sorry. You did what?” Sirius beseeched, walking into the living room from the kitchen and interrupting the points (arguments) you and Remus were each in the process of making. You gave him an unimpressed look, knowing he wasn’t actually asking you to repeat yourself, he just couldn’t believe what he had heard.
“She gave Mary-Ella over a grand.” Remus muttered bitterly.
“I did not give Mary-Ella money, I loaned her money.” You were quick to correct.
Sirius just scoffed. “Sure you did, dollface.” He sneered, making his usual pet-name burn to the touch. “You are never going to see that money again.”
“What were you thinking?” Remus implored.
“I was thinking that my friend was in a bind and needed help. I hardly think that’s a crime.”
“You didn’t just loan a little bit of money, though. You loaned a lot of money to a friend who is not reliable in the slightest.” Remus asserted.
“We have been working so hard trying to save up to move. To move closer to Diagon Alley so that Remus can be closer to work, and we can finally get out of my uncles flat.” Sirius added.
“I know we’ve been working hard, Sirius. I know this because I too have been working hard. But I’m not going to watch my friend struggle when there’s something I could do to help!”
“This choice impacted all of us. You had no right to make this decision on your own.”
It was your turn to scoff as you turned to glare at Remus incredulously. You had been trying to stay patient, knowing that this close to the moon, Remus was feeling extra sensitive. But him ganging-up on you with Sirius quickly found what little patience you had running thin. “I 'had no right' to make a decision about money that I made on my own?”
“You have no ground to stand on, buttercup. You’re now out more than a grand because of this choice; we’re all out more than a grand because of your choice.” Sirius growled, tone full of derision.
“If the roles were reversed, Mary-Ella would help me out!” You tried to reason, only for Remus to bark a laugh.
“That doesn’t even matter, dove. Because you’d never be in her position and likewise, she’d never be in yours. She’s irresponsible, unreliable, and a mooch.”
You tried to ignore the burning sensation in your sinuses as you spoke to the back of Remus’ head; he apparently had grown so disgusted with you that he couldn’t even look at you anymore.
“I don’t like you talking about my friends like that. I don’t understand why we’re making such a big deal about this, I jus-” but you were cut off as Remus stood abruptly and turned on you.
“We’re making this a big deal because it is a big deal!” he bellowed. “You leave this apartment in the morning and it’s like Sirius and I don’t exist anymore. You conduct yourself like some single woman with no responsibility to anyone else but herself.”
“You’re being selfish. You can’t possibly expect to drop a bomb on us like this and, what, expect us to just reply with ‘yes dear’? You fucked up, Y/N.” Sirius added, arms crossed defensively over his chest and cold silver eyes glared daggers that permeated your entire being. Remus carried on, unperturbed by the effects this conversation was having on you.
You felt like you were seventeen again, like you were eleven, nine, six. You felt like a babe whose hand had been slapped for reasons beyond your comprehension.
Do you ever stop and think about the consequences, Y/N?
You were sitting at the dining room table as your father lashed you with his words, each sentence punctuated with the slamming of his fists on the table. You were standing on the platform having just reunited with your parents after the school year as your mother’s claws dug into your arms, warning you that punishment was to come later if you didn’t smarten up. You were cowering in the backyard as your father screamed at you in front of the entire neighbourhood – a free show for all to enjoy.
You think crying will earn you any sympathy here? You’re a manipulative little witch if you think that will work on me. Keep crying and I’ll give you something to cry about.
You felt naked – like your figurative clothes had been violently ripped from your body – and there you stood, stripped bare for all to leer at. Standing before two people...who were meant to love you unconditionally...as they laced their words with venom and spat vitriol at you.
You couldn’t even hear the point Remus was trying to make anymore. It didn’t matter anyway.
He hated you. You were hated. You were a disappointment, a burden, unwanted.
But you couldn’t cry – could never cry. You’d just be manipulating them. You were deceitful. Emotions were deceitful. The way you felt was wrong. And they were right.
Always right.
So, you did what you always did; you made it quiet.
You began layering rows of stones around your being. Protection. Space. Distance. Safety.
They couldn’t hurt you from all the way in here, not from the other side of your wall. You’d be safe here. Here in the quiet.
It was safe in the quiet.
Tumblr media
Sirius felt disgraceful at how long it took him to notice the signs of you pulling away from the conversation. Away from them. Away from him.
Remus – always more sensitive than the two of you when it came to the likes of money, combined with feeling extra flustered with the upcoming full moon – had no reason to expect nor recognize signs of occlusion.
Suddenly, Sirius was fourteen again. Walburga was standing over him with her wand aimed at his chest, but all he could see was Regulus. He had prayed at the time that his brother could hear him begging in his mind:
Turn it off, Reg. Just turn it off. It can’t hurt you if you turn it off.
Sirius himself sat in an almost constant state of occlusion during his fifth year, knowing somewhere deep in his gut that the beginning of the end of his life as the heir of the Ancient and Most Noble House of Black (or the end of his life in general) was near.
Growing up wasn’t a whole lot easier for you, it seemed. And he knew that when things got to be too much, you did what you needed to do to protect yourself.
He suddenly hated himself. You weren’t supposed to need to protect yourself from him and Remus. It was their job to protect you; just like you always protected them.
How you protected Remus from wasting away on the days leading up to and recovering from the full moon. You never let him go hungry or thirsty, you always made sure the space was clean and tidy, and you never let him fall into his typical pre- and post-moon self-loathing.
And you protected Sirius from himself; from saying things that he wouldn’t be able to take back, from being the worst version of himself, from losing you and Remus completely.
He didn’t deserve you.
You didn’t deserve this.
For fuck’s sake all you had been doing was being kind.
Being a good friend, someone that others could rely on, protecting people who meant so much to you.
All you were doing was being your kind, courteous, protective, generous self that Remus and Sirius had fallen in love with from the very start.
“Moony!” Sirius pleaded, causing the lycanthrope to pause in his tangent. You didn’t even flinch at the sudden change in the atmosphere as Remus looked at Sirius bewilderedly.
“We’ve lost her.” Sirius murmured quietly, causing Remus to spin to observe you.
“Well...” Remus began, still struggling to shake off his anger and the need to argue. “But I-”
“It’s enough, Remus.” Sirius hissed quietly, staring at Remus with a look he hoped conveyed no nonsense.
He apparently succeeded as Remus let out whatever breath he’d been holding as he turned again to face you.
“Dove, I’m sorry.” Remus whispered as he tried to move towards you, but you instinctively took a step back to maintain the distance between you; your arms wrapped around your middle protectively as if that was all that was holding you together.
Sirius’ heart felt like it split in two – and based off of the look on Remus’ face, he wasn’t fairing any better.
“Y/N?” Sirius tried. You didn’t turn to look at him, but you hummed in quasi-acknowledgement.
“Can you look at me?” He tried quietly, but you shook your head no.
Remus made a pained sound as he tried to move towards you again, ducking his head down in an attempt to make eye contact with you. You didn’t back away from him this time, but your arms tightened in their hold around your middle.
“Sweetheart, I’m sorry I...I shouldn’t have spoken to you like that. I’m...I was out of line.”
“Come back?” Sirius pleaded. “Please.”
You took a deep breath and turned your face towards your boyfriends, but Sirius could tell your eyes were still foggy – you were still hiding.
“We won’t talk about it anymore. That conversation is done.” Sirius said.
“But-” you started, voice grating from the tightness in your throat, but he cut you off.
“The conversation is done. You did what you thought was right, you were being your kind lovely self, helping your friend when they needed you. We shouldn’t have yelled at you, sweets. I’m sorry.”
Remus made another pained sound and moved closer to you again.
“Dovey, I’m so sorry. Please, can I- would you like a hug?”
Sirius watched as you looked at Remus, seeming to weigh your options before you nodded once at him. Remus needn’t any more invitation and quickly (though gently) made for you, enveloping you in his arms.
The three of you stayed like that – Remus with his arms around you, you with your arms around yourself and your face pushed into his chest, and Sirius standing helplessly at the side – before Sirius started to notice some tension leaving your shoulders.
“Why’d you go?” He asked you quietly, gently placing a hand in the middle of your shoulder blades and rubbing in a way he hoped was soothing.
“I didn’t want to cry.” You admitted into Remus’ chest, neither boy missing how tight your voice seemed to be, even as your voice barely raised above a whisper.
“Oh, dolly. Just cry. Cry, okay? Make us feel like tossers, but don’t leave.” Sirius said.
“I didn’t want you to feel bad.” You muttered wetly, finally turning so Sirius could see your red and wet face.
“But we deserved it. Oh, my love.” Remus cooed as he all but picked you up and locked your legs around his hips, forcing you to move your grip from around yourself to around him.
“I’m not s’posed to make you cry. I’m s’posed to make you smile.” He muttered pitifully, pressing his lips into your hair.
“And cum.” Sirius spoke in the same pitiful tone, brushing a strand of hair from your forehead.
You laughed wetly and the last of your occlusion appeared to slip away which was what Sirius had been aiming for. It didn’t make him feel all that much better though.
“Oh, my girl. I’m so sorry, Pads is right. You were just being your lovely self, and I’m a bastard.”
Sirius watched as your brows furrowed. “You’re not a bastard.”
“No,” Sirius agreed readily, “he was just being a bastard. Both of us were. Do you think you can forgive us?”
You nodded quickly but Remus tsked in response.
“Don’t let us off so easily, dovey. Make us pay for it. What do you need? Do you need a foot rub? You want cake? Ice cream? What about a kitten? You’ve always wanted a kitten.”
You had been shaking your head at everything Remus said until the last one, your curiosity obviously piqued.
Fuckin’ hells, Sirius thought, if she gets a kitten everytime one of us acts like an arse, we’re going to be overrun with cats by next month.
Pleasant Intrusion
Wolfstar x reader
Y/n catches Sirius and Remus messing around in her room and rummaging through her closet
Warnings: implied smut, making out, perverted teenage boyfriends. Also I suck at naming fics, and writing anything explicit or intimate
Word count: 1,989, this is just a short fic
Sirius and Remus had finished their last class of the day when they decided to head to their girlfriend's room. Upon entering they found it empty, which seemed odd to them since Y/n would always be up here on Thursday's, having finished her last class almost an hour before them. Remus was planning on leaving to go and look for Y/n when Sirius had decided to take a seat on her bed "Let's just wait for her here, she shouldn't be too long" Remus just shrugged, taking a seat next to the black haired boy. He grabbed one of the few books on Y/n's bedside table to busy himself as he waited. Though Sirius was not one to wait, he started to get fidgety after sitting for only 5 minutes.
So he took it upon himself to start rifling through his girlfriend's stuff. "What the hell are you doing?" Remus questioned, watching his boyfriend pull out a pair of lace underwear from their girlfriend's closet "just taking a look, that's all" as much as he tried to be convincing in his tone, Sirius didn't do much to hide the fact he was shoving the panties into his back pocket. The tall Werewolf just sighed at his actions "she'll be pissed if you get caught" Sirius just laughed and shook his head, continuing his search through Y/n's stuff "you see darling I don't plan on getting caught" he made eye contact with Remus before throwing a matching lace bra at the sitting boy. The tall boy's face burned red as he held up the bra. He had seen Y/n in it before, it was the matching set she wore when she was planning for an intense night with the two boys. It was a dark red colour with black lace and a small heart bead in the centre. Remus threw it onto the bed next to him, trying to ignore the blood that's starting to rush downwards.
He looked around the room to distract himself and his eyes landed on an enchanted photo on the bedside table. It was a photo taken about 4 months ago and it was of him, Y/n and Sirius celebrating their 1 year anniversary. The three of them were smiling brightly, Remus stood in the centre with his arms wrapped around his two partners as they both shoved their faces into his own, smothering his face in kisses before looking back over at the camera. Remus gently picked the frame up and smiled at the photo, gently rubbing off a slight layer of dust. Sirius threw himself behind Remus and lent over his shoulder to examine what the boy was holding "you know that's my favourite photo of us" remus looked back at his boyfriend seeing a familiar glint in his stormy grey eyes "I especially like how red you face gets" his voice softened as he lent in to kiss Remus on the cheek. The boy's face instantly started burning up, the thing about Remus was that he was incredibly easy to make blush, especially when it came to his partners.
Sirius continued kissing over Remus's face before leaning into his lips. They deepened the kiss as Sirius's hands wrapped around his boyfriend's waist, gently pushing him down against the bed. The raven haired boy leant over Remus as he straddle his legs, sliding his tongue into the young Werewolves mouth. The two started moving against each other for friction, but neither dared to stop and undress. Maybe if he wasn't so caught up in the taste of cinnamon and smoke from Sirius's mouth, Remus would've heard the approaching footsteps or the door being gently opened and quickly closed.
"What the hell are you two perverts doing?" The voice of their beloved girlfriend rang out snapping both boys out of their trance as their heads shot up. No matter what they said there was no denying how perverted they must've seemed to their girlfriend. Sirius was sitting on top of Remus, lace underwear still sticking out from his back pocket for y/n to see. Remus on the other hand was burning red, his hair was a mess and his lips seemed swollen, a bra laying next to his head that just so happened to match the underwear in the stormy eyed boy's pocket. Sirius was the first to speak up "oh hello princess, we were just keeping busy while waiting for you to get back" a wolfish grin on his face, y/n looked between her two boyfriend's, the lace panties and the matching bra "Yes I can see that" her face reddening at the thought of the two rifling through her underwear draw then making out on her bed. "Care to join us, love?" Remus' voice had a whispered edge to it, still slightly dazed from Sirius. "Yeah ok, I guess you two depraved pervs deserve some company"
