Do you think Prism after IEYTD3 would do anything to honor the rest of her robots who didn't escape the factory explosion
Oh absolutely. She loved those silly little guys! She dedicated so much work, time and effort to make them real and they were there with her and she loved every single one of them. She didn't have to get attached, after all they were just another project, but she chose to love and appreciate them as they were. She was probably under the assumption that they'd outlive her, being robots and all, but that explosion definitely crushed her heart. I don't know if she could find it in her to make another robot after that.
I think if she finds time to slow down after the third game's end, she'd let herself properly grieve her loss and honor their memory. Probably something that involves a spare part that she brought with her, a core, a bit of kinesium...but yeah.

Always And Forever: Till Death Do Us Part
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing~ fiance!jungkook x fiance!reader
Warnings~ crying ,soft!jk, pet names, kissing
A/N: This takes place after Friends Forever and Always and Forever
"Y/N, are you ready?" I hear what my best friend Kura says as she knocks on my door. I look in the mirror and take a deep breath. Today is the day I've been preparing for, and I can't let my nerves get the best of me now. With a smile, I open the door and nod confidently at Kura "I'm ready," I say, feeling a surge of excitement and determination. Kura grins and gives me a reassuring hug before we head out the door together.
As we make our way to the venue, I can't help but feel grateful for Kura's unwavering support. Knowing that she is by my side gives me the confidence I need to walk down the aisle towards a new chapter of my life with Jungkook. I take a deep breath, reminding myself of all the moments we've shared and the love that has brought us to this day. The nerves begin to fade as I focus on the future ahead, filled with happiness and endless possibilities. I stop and look at my friend Kura and say "Ku..I want to thank you for being my friend and supporting me through this journey. Your presence means the world to me, and I couldn't imagine this day without you here". Kura smiles warmly and squeezes my hand, "I'm so grateful to be by your side on this special day. You deserve all the love and happiness in the world, and I know Jungkook will make you the happiest person alive." With her words of encouragement, I feel a surge of gratitude and excitement as I prepare to take the next step towards forever with my partner.
As I step towards the altar, I look at Jungkook waiting for me with a smile that lights up the room, and I know in my heart that I am exactly where I am meant to be. Today is the beginning of our new chapter together, and I couldn't be more ready to start this journey with him by my side. "Were gathered here today to witness the union of two souls who have found true love in each other?" The officiant's voice fills the air, and I feel a sense of peace wash over me as I hold Jungkook's hand tightly. "As they embark on this journey together, may they always remember the love that brought them here today, and may it continue to grow stronger with each passing day. Let us all join in celebrating their commitment to each other and wish them a lifetime of happiness and love. May their bond be unbreakable and their love everlasting as they face life's challenges together with unwavering support for each other. And as they exchange vows and rings, may they always cherish and honor the promises they make to each other on this special day. " The officiant says "Your vows" Me and Jungkook look into each other's eyes, feeling the love and warmth that brought us together.
I start my vows. "Koo, what do I say to express the depth of my love for you? From the moment we met in that coffee shop, I knew you were the one I wanted to spend forever with. I remember us joking about dating because we were too shy to make the first move. But here we are now, ready to commit our lives to each other in front of our loved ones. Today, I promise to always support you, cherish you, and love you unconditionally, even when your hair is gray and our faces are wrinkled with age. Even when you may not remember our younger days, I will always hold those memories close to my heart. I vow to be by your side through all of life's ups and downs, creating new memories together as we grow old gracefully. I vow to be your partner in all things, to laugh with you in times of joy and comfort you in times of sorrow. You are my rock, my love, and my everything. "
Jungkook smiles through tears of happiness as he begins his vows.
"Love, after all you said, I don't know if I can say anything to wow you, but I will do my best." Jungkook says while chuckling, " I promise to always support you and encourage you to chase your dreams, no matter how big or small they may be. I promise to be by your side through thick and thin, to listen to you with an open heart even if all your doing is telling me not to wear a see through shirt because its only for your eyes ." When he says that, the whole room erupts in laughter, reminding everyone of the playful dynamic between Jungkook and his partner. The sincerity and humor in his vows leave not a dry eye in the room, as they capture the essence of their relationship perfectly. "I promise to cherish every moment we share together. You are my soulmate, my best friend, and my forever. Let's continue to grow and support each other, facing life's challenges with love and laughter. " The couple's love story continues to inspire those around them, showing that true love knows no bounds. " With tears of joy in his eyes, Jungkook finishes his vows with a heartfelt declaration of forever.
As they exchange rings, their love shines brightly, a beacon of hope for all who witness their union. The couple seals their vows with a kiss, beginning a new chapter filled with endless love and happiness.
Our love story serves as a reminder that true love can conquer all obstacles, bringing joy and fulfillment to those who believe in its power. As we walk hand in hand into their future, Jungkook and me are sure of one thing our love will forever be eternal.

so I am primarily an Eddie x Chrissy shipper but I ADORE the Eddie Munson TikTok saga with my entire heart
can we get some more insight into how Eddie was affected by Chrissy in your universe?
Thank you for asking this!
I’ve wanted to talk about Chrissy in this AU since the beginning, but I just don’t realistically see Eddie talking about her on his TikTok. Anytime Eddie has so much as alluded to Chrissy over the years, it has stirred up all this drama about that spring break and it always gets back to her family. And he doesn’t want that.
He doesn’t want to remind her remaining relatives of her death. He doesn’t want the accusations that some people still have that he killed her. He doesn’t want to attach all that pain and suffering onto the memory of Chrissy.
She was more than that one awful week in 1986. She was so much more and every time the Hawkins Murders get brought up she becomes less and less a real human person and more just a footnote in a bigger tragedy.
So, he doesn’t talk about her publicly.
So, Eddie honors her in the quiet ways that he can.
He honors her in the tattoo over his heart and in the initials engraved on the inside of the ring he never takes off. He honors her in the silence before every live performance and in all the songs so filled with grief that they’re never performed to an audience.
He honors her in the life he lives.
He tries to at least, because Chrissy is not a ghost that haunts him.
She is a presence that sits beside him. She is the sun warm on his face and tea made just a little too sweet. She is the skip-beat of his heart, the stroke of a guitar, the sadness that seeps behind his eyes. She is an empty house built inside him, and she is the windows he made in those walls, and she is beautiful still. And he misses her. Still
So, he honors her in silent ways when she deserves so much more.
She deserved a life, so he lives his thankful and fully. She deserved the same love that she put into the world, so Eddie never misses an opportunity to show his. She deserved adventure, and travel, and to see a world so much brighter than Hawkins, so when Eddie got the chance. It didn’t feel like running away. It felt like honor.
Eddie knows that he was not always kind.
He knows that he has a capacity for cruelty, that Wayne raised him right but he has shades of his father in him. He knows that for as much as the world othered him, as much as Hawkins ostracized him, he played into it. He othered himself. He grew bristles and thorns young, and he bared them to anybody that got close. He was mean.
He could be so mean, but Chrissy.
She didn’t remember him that day in the woods, but Eddie has always noticed her because she was kind. She was so effortlessly kind to everybody, even to him. She apologized in the hall for bumping his locker. She stopped when he dropped his dice instead of kicking them across the floor.
She smiled at him like he wasn’t a freak, the same smile she smiled at everybody.
She was so kind. It was for everybody. She was kind to him the way that she was kind to everybody else, and it was just… It was never fair. It was never going to be fair.

Best friends to Lovers. Lily McIntyre couldn’t think of a single thing more romantic than that. She’d spent her entire life searching for that one person who would transcend the bonds of friendship into something so much more, and for years, she’d been left wanting. So many friendships left to flounder when the necessary spark failed to materialize, so many seemingly perfect connections ruined because she wanted more than any of these so-called “best” friends could give. It felt unfair. It felt cruel. It felt hopeless.
Until.
Lily remembered the day like it were yesterday, forever seared into her memory as though it had been branded there, and it in a way, it had been, because the moment she met Bucky Barnes had become an indelible part of her, a core moment in the creation of the perfect life she desired– no, deserved to have.
It was warm for late March, the birdsong thick in the air as she ran a batch of new SHIELD recruits through their drills on the outside training track of the new Avengers’ Compound in Upstate New York. She hadn’t been thrilled with Tony Stark when he’d insisted on moving the operation out of the city proper, but she had to admit, being away from the congestion of the metropolis ended up having its perks. Besides, the city was still close enough to enjoy all the amenities it had to offer.
She’d just sent her group off to do sprints when she saw Captain America, himself, approach her, followed by a stranger she’d never seen before.
She was immediately struck by how gorgeous he was– chiseled jaw, piercing blue eyes, shy, timid smile. Perfection, she thought, as Captain Rogers introduced the man as his best friend, James “Bucky” Barnes.
“Lily runs the training program for new SHIELD recruits,” the Captain was saying. Lily found she could only nod and smile as Steve explained the training program, so transfixed was she by this handsome new stranger. Bucky listened with polite interested, then said something about wanting to go check out the obstacle course, and as he walked away, the Captain leaned toward Lily and spoke softly, so as not to be overheard.
“Buck’s going to be joining us in the Compound. Aside from me, he hasn’t really got any other friends, so, you think you could help make him feel at home? Maybe try to be his friend?”
“It would be an honor, Captain,” Lily agreed, smiling. Absolute perfection.

Memories || B.K
|| in honor of someone sending in a hate mail about my writing and specifically part one of this work, which you don’t have to read to understand this. Here’s part two! This is dedicated to that hater! Listen to Memories by Conan Gray to get the full effect! ||
It had been six months since she saw him, since he broke her heart. Since he walked out the door like she meant nothing. She saw him on tv often, Pro Hero Dynamite, every week it was a report about how he saved the city or was accepting a new award for his heroics.
It wasn’t fair.
She stilled lived in the same apartment, mainly cause they had signed a two year lease so she couldn’t leave. She had finally managed to get herself to stop crying when she would look at the old pictures of the two of them.
She watches the rain out the window, a black cardigan pulled around her as she sees the sidewalks puddled with water. She takes a sip of her red wine as a soft knock breaks the gentle silence of the apartment. The cat she had gotten a month after he left her, gently meows and jumped up on the entry table next to the dark oak front door.
The walk to the door is quick from her cozy chair that overlooks the sidewalk. She looks through the peephole and sees red eyes peering through it at her. She jumps before she opens the door.
“Bakugou?” The use of his last name makes his skin crawl, he groans.
“I just.. can we talk? Y/n?” He looks at her, he can watch the gears in her brain turn as she looks at him. She can see how wet his hoodie is and she can’t help but open the door for him.
He slides in and goes to walk into the living room but stumbles over the cat.
“Who put a fuckin’ cat there?!” He grumbled before letting the cat sniff his hand.
She watches him cautiously, like she’s a wild animal and he’s prey.
Somehow they end up on the kitchen floor, Bakugou is wrapped in a blanket, his clothes put in the dryer. Y/n has her back against the cabinets as she watches him, her knees are pulled tight to her chest as if they were a shield guarding her heart from him.
“I miss you.” His voice is rough, she can see the remainder of the black make up he wore under his hero mask.
“I wish you’d stay in my memories.” She bites back, her tone is sharp, callous, calculated.
“I deserve that.” He agrees and runs his hands through the damp blonde streaks, the black cat named Starfire had curled up next to him.
‘Traitor’ Y/n thinks in her head as she eyes her companion.
“I hate what I did to you.. I was trying to pr-“
“So help me god if you say protect me.” Y/n snaps, her eyes watering from the confrontation.
“Y/n.. baby.. you don’t get it..” he tried to reason, his eyes search hers for any hope that he can explain.
“I get it. I got it when I came home to a half empty apartment and you sat me down and then walked out. I understood when you blocked my number. I understood when you had security kick me out of your agency when I wanted to talk to you.”
Bakugou closes his eyes, the alcohol has gotten to his head and he feels ill, or maybe it’s the guilt for his actions.
“You protected me all through out high school and college and I supported you when you were in hero school and starting out and you faced greater threats then whatever it was this time. You didn’t leave me then. So what was it Bakugou? What the fuck was it?!”
His last name on her tongue feels wrong, he wants to hear katsuki from her pretty lips.
“I.. I got scared. I wanted to marry you but I got scared. I wasn’t ready.” He whispers and moves closer to Y/n, he moves to lay on the ground, his head in her lap.
“Please Y/n… I’m sorry… please understand.”
She can feel the tears fall on the bare skin of her thigh, she thinks about the last few months that they were together in her head. The way he had gotten a call about a nine thousand dollar transaction on his card, the way he always would stand in the closet and be staring at something but hide it away when Y/n would come around. His mom texting and asking when they could go get their nails done even when they had never done that before.
Y/n looks down at the sobbing drunk man and sighs, she rubs the bridge of her nose and squeezes her eyes shut. The sound of the dryer going off rips her from all thought.
“I’ll be right back.” She gently maneuvers out from under him and goes to get his laundry. When she returns with the clothes, he’s still on the floor petting Starfire and whispering to himself.
“Your mom is so beautiful, I wish I never fucked things up.. I miss her every day. I know I ruined her but I could fix it.. make it up.. god..”
Y/n clears her throat and Bakugou sits up quickly startling Starfire who scampers off.
“You can sleep in the guest room. You’re in no condition to drive or walk.“
Bakugou stands up, keeping the blanket tight around him.
“Okay,” he agrees and walks to where the guest room was, he loved this apartment, remembered the day the two moved in like it was yesterday. He opens the door and it looks different. Y/n’s things are in here.
“Wrong door.” Y/n says as she crosses her arms over her chest.
Bakugou turns and opens their old bedroom. The guest room furniture was now in here.
“Why?” He asks and looks at her.
“Couldn’t stand to be in there.” She looks away.
He doesn’t say anything else as he goes into the room.
“Oh. Here.” She grabs his clothes from the kitchen counter and hands them to him.
“Thanks Y/n.” He smiles, his head feels gross, he needs to lay down.
“Yeah. Well good night.”
She walks into her bedroom and closes the door, she puts her back against it and slides down it, hands running through her hair.
Y/n lets herself cry, she sniffles as she wipes her tears on the black cardigan. It’s not fair she tells herself that right as she’s fully put back together he comes in here and fucks it all up, it’s not fair that he can ruin her own self image of herself and run back to her like it meant nothing.
She takes her sweater off and puts on a big t shirt and crawls into bed. Within a few minutes there’s a knock at the door and Bakugou peeks his head in.
“Y/n?” He says “I love you.” He finishes.
Her eyes flick to him and she jumps out of bed, the door flying open to see his full body
“No. No. No. No.” she picks up a pillow and starts to hit him with it, all the rage she had built up exploding out.
“You don’t get to say that! You don’t get to come here and ruin my life over again like you did already! You don’t get to make me believe that we could be something again when you already proved that I was nothing! You made me feel like I was nothing! Don’t you understand that you’re holding yourself back from finding someone you actually love?! I was barely surviving after you left! It’s not fair!” She screams at him, tears rolling down her cheeks like the storm that rages outside.
Her face is red and warm and her body feels like she’s laying on hot coals. Bakugou gently grabs her and pulls her into a hug, she can faintly smell the cologne he always used, the one she still kept in her bathroom. She can smell the beer on him as well. She breaks down in his arms, she can barely hold herself up as he strokes her back and holds her.
“Shhh, I got you. It’s okay.” He whispers and pulls her to the bed, he lays down with her on his chest. He keeps a tight hold.
“I’m sorry… I’m so sorry.” He whispers over and over.
They fall asleep like that. When the sun comes up and shines in their eyes, they lay in the aftermath of the storm. Bakugou wakes up first like he always did. Y/n isn’t far behind when she feels gentle kisses on her forehead.
“Morning sleeping beauty.” He whispers
“Hi.” She muttered and closes her eyes once again.
Maybe they didn’t have to be what they were before, maybe they could be something better.
Bakugou gently sits up and holds her.
“I am sorry Y/n.. and I do miss you. Just please.. one shot..”
Y/n takes a deep inhale of the cologne that sticks to his body. She slowly nods.
“Okay.. one shot, that’s all you get.”
“That’s all I need. I won’t fuck up again. I promise.”

*mischievous laugh* mueheheh
hypothetically, what if reader dies? 😈 what will poor megumi and tsumiki do now? what would gojo do too? 🥸
um… hello??? what is wrong with—
okay, so let’s start off with the simplest reaction. megumi is out for vengeance.
it’s clear that he’s got a bit of a… sadistic nature to him (undefined by whatever morals normal people have, yeah whatever). but why is he strong if not to protect the world from evil things? why does he have power if he’s not supposed to use it?
so, you being a jujutsu sorcerer, it’s likely that you died fighting a curse. if that’s the case, megumi is hunting that curse down and eliminating it in an instant. and then he keeps going. he’s going to kill every curse he can find, because you shouldn’t have died.
if anyone doesn’t deserve to die, it’s you.
and while megumi can hear your words in his head, telling him to protect others, to take care of people, to stay with his family… if you’re gone, what does it matter?
megumi will live in his anger. he doesn’t need depression or acceptance. what he needs is you, and if he can’t have you anymore…
and then there’s tsumiki. she wouldn’t feel angry, like megumi, but lost.
it’s obvious that she believes there’s a sort of destiny within the world. she thinks that all bad things happen so that the good things, the truly good things, can come next. she believes that you have to feel pain to feel pleasure. she trusts this idea.
before you die, tsumiki isn’t afraid of anything.
but after you die, she loses her purpose. her ideals, her faith in the world.
she goes from the trusting little girl who would believe satoru if he told her that he was really a robot with a human heart inside of him, from the girl who took everything at face value, believed that all people should protect each other, help each other—
she goes from your little girl to something entirely different.
what’s the point of this? she wonders. if her mom had to die to bring her to you and satoru, she understands. if she and megumi had to take care of themselves for a year—living in some apartment that didn’t have running water—just to find a real family, then it was worth it.
but what’s worth it if you’re dead? what’s the point to losing another mom, another person that tsumiki was supposed to help take care of?
she can’t do anything, though. she’s always been the most powerless of her family members. and after you die, she’s not your little girl anymore.
she’s just lost.
and, of course, satoru.
i think he shares the same grief that both megumi and tsumiki feel—anger, denial—but he’s older than them. he loves you differently than they ever could.
there was a time when satoru had pushed you away just to get back to that place where he was nothing but strong. where his feelings had no bearing in his power, where emotions didn’t matter as long as he was the honored one.
but, really, if it takes you dying to get back to that place—then satoru never wants to be strong again.
when suguru died, satoru was committed to carrying out his plans. to protecting sorcerers from a world forged against them. he wanted to train a generation of sorcerers who didn’t have to worry about dying with regrets, who could take care of themselves along with all of the non-sorcerers in the world.
to eradicate cursed energy, in whatever capacity.
but when you die, satoru loses all that purpose. why should he care about the world when he no longer has to protect you from it?
why should he care at all?
so, just like after riko died, satoru is back to being nothing but a vessel for power. he doesn’t care who he kills, what he kills, as long as it has some meaning, some pointless purpose that doesn’t matter to him.
but, it only takes one memory of you to snap him out of it. he can almost feel you clawing at his chest, your voice begging him to take care of them.
so, eventually, satoru finds his way home. he’s got two other people to protect.
and he’ll be damned if anything happens to them.

The catalyst for Leon's growth in RE4make is his commitment to killing someone he loves, despite the fact that his main source of personal conflict so far is that he can't save anyone -- especially not the people that he loves.

The catalyst for Ada's growth in RE4make is her commitment to saving someone who's in her way, despite the fact that her main source of personal conflict so far is that she continues to encounter emotional roadblocks that have impeded her goals and put her own life in danger, and she doesn't want to repeat her mistakes from Raccoon City.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The catalyst for Ashley's growth in RE4make is her commitment to saving herself, despite the fact that the base premise for her character is complete and total helplessness.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The catalyst for Luis's growth in RE4make is his commitment to saving the life of someone else over himself, when he starts the game willing to let Leon die in order to save himself.
This is how change arcs work. The story has to take a fundamental part of the character and challenge and subvert it.
Leon had to be the one to kill Krauser.
Ada had to choose to honor Luis's memory by saving Ashley (and Leon).
Ashley had to be the only one in the lab to save Leon.
Luis had to be the one to shoot Krauser's knife away.
These are all moments that I've seen brought up as points of contention within the fandom -- people say that the additions of/changes to these scenes are just "fanservice," but that's just not true. These scenes were added/rewritten with the intention of allowing characters' arcs to play out all the way through.
What Capcom wrote is good storytelling crafted with all characters in mind and all the story's themes accounted for. What you want to have happened instead because you think x character "deserved it more" -- that is the fanservice.

The co-host (Alastor x femreader) II
< >
Summary: You are Alastors Co host in life, perhaps more. But are separated by a sudden death. When you are finally reunited in the under world, it is up to Alastor to figure out why you don’t remember him.
------------------------------------------------
Alastor had arrived in hell a few years after you, completely unaware that you ended up in the same place. You both saw each other as saints, i guess that's what love does to you.  If only you had more time to truly know each other. His last years weren't as dignified as yours. And neither was his death.
All through your sickness, he was by your side. Cooking for you, entertaining you, helping out with rent. Your mother would have, but she lived in another state, and had very little money to come visit you or support you. So Alastor did.  But when your body decided enough was enough, you took a toll for the worse. You were gone within days, with him still by your side. Willing to do anything to see your eyes full of life just one more time. It truly broke him as a person. But no one would ever know.
He sent out a broadcast to honor your name, all of your frequent listeners shedding a tear over the loss. Because it truly was a loss. Spreading kind words like "she's in a better place now", if only they knew.
Then there was Alastor. In the end, everyone was glad the world had ridded such a monster. No one knew it when he died, but they did when the remains of those who had gone missing was uncovered. Some argue they deserved it, some argue it was an act of evil.
It had been a few weeks since the encounter with Satan. Y/N didn't have much of a choice, her soul was his. Now she had to do his dirty work. You see, Satan's a busy man. Being the keeper of the wraith ring, and having the people of earth call on him frequently for deals. He couldn't keep up with all of it. So, he gave some of that responsibility to Y/n. Someone who can claim souls and grant wishes from the desperate and needy. Of course the souls still belonged to him, she was just the messenger. With this comes the ability to travel to the mortal realm, and fear of other sinners when you are being called the sacrificer. Within days, Y/n rose the ranks as an overlord who owned a large territory. Unspeakable amounts of power being given to this singular soul was a lot to take in, but she didn't have a choice.
The business was now up and running, "The slaughter house". Satan being the CEO, of course. Y/N being the manager, and other souls of Satan being his laborers who dealt with mundane things like paper work. The pay wasn't too bad though. This operation being set up in hell also gave other sinners the opportunity to sell their soul to Satan in return for a high paying job. Its a bit extreme, but it gets very desperate in hell. I'm sure you can imagine.
Y/n's name was lost, now being called the demon of sacrifice. It was incredibly de-humanizing, and she hated it. Only using her power when absolutely necessary or when business required it. But it wasn't all bad, she had a better accommodation, a steady cash flow, a lot of useful contacts and very little conflict with other demons. It was also incredibly lonely. Because of the fear around her name, very few people were willing to befriend her.
Then, on top of that, was the pain of her memories from life. Knowing that all if this is ultimately her fault. All because she just wanted power. How was she to carry on. Then it hit her, she has the power to do what she pleases. She can be whoever she wants to be down here, and to start this she needed to forget everything that haunted her.
Alastor landed in hell four years after y/n, after being shot in between the eyes. Not many know how his rise to power happened, but it was merely overnight. Tormenting the citizens of hell, kidnapping powerful overlords that few would dare to mess with, and giving a new reason for sinners to fear for their lives. The radio demon was born, and it didn't take long before his radio broadcasts displayed what had happened to his unfortunate victims. No one was safe.
"Miss l/n! Todays demand for Satan is big today, I don't think we will be able to get through all of them" a small, fishlike demon ran up to her, struggling to keep up with her pace through the corridors.
"Its late, imp. I will deal with them tomorrow. Prioritize the simpler requests, none of that fame or millionaire shit." Y/n bit back, eager to leave.
"But ma'am, The sin of wraith isn't very happy with how the number of souls are dropping"
"uh huh, uh huh. I'll see you tomorrow, imp" The door slammed in his face, and the handle was too high for him to reach.
"I'm not an imp" He mumbles under his breath, watching the overlord walk away in the windows of the door.
Y/n had a coffee date with one of her closest friends, Zestial. One of the few overlords who still had his head attached to him. They had arranged to talk about the affects of the new tormentor, needing a plan to put their people at ease and to protect the skin on the bac of their necks. Usually, she'd have someone accompany her. But this occasion was far too private.
The night had progressed fast, the crimson sky darkened and street lamps struggled to do their job and lighten the streets. Y/n was almost at her destination when she noted a faint buzzing sound in the back of her head. It definitely wasn't there before. She stopped at the end of an alley she had just walked through, and assessed her surroundings. No one, not a soul in sight. Behind her, again no one. A strange feeling made its way into her throat, as if her body sensed danger. The sound getting louder, louder. Street lights seemingly struggling even more, and eventually going out. One by one. The street was pitch black within seconds. Y/n couldn't do anything but remain in their position, against the wall of the alley.
A small, voodoo doll like creature ran passed the entrance of the alley. Paying her no attention, and laughing as he went. He was barely audible as the static became more insufferable in her ears. But she knew something was after her, she just prayed to lucifer that it wasn't who she thought it was.
"Not even going to try and run, dear?" The static stopped, the voice sounding like it was in the air. Having no body attached to it. Then he materialized seemingly from the shadows. His slim body accompanied by a tailored red suit, and an eerie smile refraining his face from showing any sort of emotion. The radio demon. He was here. Her face was barely visible in the darkness he had created, only the glowing from her eyes was an indication of life.
"Come on, give me a chase. Make this interesting. I'll give you a head start" He taunted, slowly getting closer. Leaning his cane at his side, making it hard for y/n to get out.
"No? I guess this will be the easiest kill yet" His smile widened a the seams of his mouth, being pulled by an invisible string like a doll. His form followed in lead, being hoisted up and enlarged to intimidate his prey.
"Don't touch me freak." Y/N finally spoke, kicking his cane over and materializing into the ground. Becoming nothing more than a shadow that cant be touched. He watched at she disappeared into the night, almost in disbelief. He's heard that voice before. But it can't be, there's no way she is down here. She can't be. His smile never faltered, and he decided to leave this chase for another day. Street light finally flickered back on, and everything remained as it was before. Other than Alastor's new knowledge. Their story wasn't over yet.

Tumblr media
Prince Malleus Draconia is not lonely.
He hasn't been since before he hatched, his mother had made sure of it. He has faded memories of dozing off to his mother's soft singing, listening to his father's long ramblings, and curling up in the safety of the right-hand general's presence.
After hatching, his mother had doted on him like any prince of the Briar Lands deserved to be. Her and Father had indulged his every whim and desire. The servants bowed and trembled before the wrath of a newly-born dragonling who, though only three feet long, snarled his grievances accompanied by licks of fire and brewing snowstorms. Lilia Vanrouge was the only one to not kneel so easily.
Malleus Draconia was a prince and a hatchling, but Lilia did not treat him as such. Lilia scolded him like he would Mother, a matured dragon, and only complimented or rewarded him when he earned it. Needless to say, he was not favored amongst the little prince's guardians… or so Lilia says as he laments on the times Malleus used to set his hair ablaze. It had enlightened Malleus as to why the general currently wears his hair so short as opposed to the portraits he'd seen, but the prince—as it is the nature of fleeting old memories—cannot vividly recall his caretaker's tales. They also struck him as incredibly odd and he concluded that as an infant he had been a foolish thing (despite his parents' insistence otherwise). After all, Lilia is his most favored caretaker. This favoritism had even led to Malleus seeking Lilia out when he had hidden himself away one day, giving the prince the honor of being the first to meet the general's adopted son.
Silver had been an enigma to him. How could a meek little human infant, a species which his mother mocked frequently for their weakness and stupidity, appeal to a hardened fae general? It was even stranger to him that Mother seemed to completely forget her disdain for humans when she saw the little bundle in Lilia's arms. Though he would never say it aloud, Malleus had felt betrayed when his mother had asked to hold the child and took him from Lilia eagerly.
This little… thing, could not even hold itself up or eat solid food, let alone seek it out itself. It was useless and weak and nothing like the fierce creature Malleus had been when he broke out of his shell. Or at least, that's what Malleus used to think.
Truly, Malleus must not have been as exceptional of an infant as his parents insist. Malleus had spent 20 years crawling, meanwhile Silver mastered walking on two legs in mere months. Instead of cawing and snarling, the child babbled and laughed, elicited smiles from those around him, made warmth swell in Malleus's chest when he called the prince's name for the first time. The boy had still been small, not even 5 years old, and yet he had been able to climb up Malleus's legs and sit on his lap when he had invited him to read with him.
Sebek exhibited similar speed in growth. Malleus had blinked, and suddenly the little halfling had risen from a screeching newt into a strong guard that rivaled his own grandfather. Sebek likes to shadow him, always quick to see to his every need and always eager to win his approval. It's overbearing at some points, but the boy is growing and learning and has come to put his loyalty to use for only matters worthy of it, learning from Lilia and Silver to not merely agree to Malleus's every breath.
The revelation for such a change brought all four of them closer. It's not rare to see the two young knights by the prince's side, the former general watching after them from not far off.
Suffice to say, Malleus Draconia is not lonely. Absolutely not.
As a matter of fact, he quite likes being alone; the peacefulness of isolation, the escape from his demanding responsibilities. He has to return to the castle at some point of course. He has duties to his kingdom, but no matter how brief, he takes the opportunity to have some time for himself. To have some time to indulge his desires instead of being Prince Malleus; to be away from the expectations of his subjects and parents and instead cater to only himself.
He never quite expected to meet someone searching for something similar. At the very least, not at the same place, and you continued to surprise him in ways he could have never imagined.
After all, who could have predicted that a revered dragon prince of the fae would fall in love with a human?
----
Perhaps to any other, days at Wild Rose Castle could be considered dull, either because of the dim lighting and black walls or the castle staff that always hurry by without a whisper of a breath and with bowed heads.
If one were to ask Malleus however, he would say that days at the castle are always hectic. It's a good day when the castle is serenely dark and gloomy, but on others…
"Your DISGRACE of an offspring is a pathetic sprite unworthy of my son! How DARE you even consider a courtship between them?!"
Lightning fills the throne room with a bright purple light. Three aristocrats yelp and scramble to avoid the strikes of lightning coming down from the ceiling. Princess Meleanor's glare is deadly as she lifts and aims her staff to bring down another volley of lightning.
"P-p-please forgive us for our transgressions, your excellency!" the patriarch weeps as his family collapses to the floor in frantic bows. From his throne, Malleus can see the family's young heir trembling with choked sobs. His mother isn't the least bit appeased, her glare hardening and her staff crackling with power.
"ENOUGH! I will not tolerate any more nonsense out your blabbering mouth! You have come into my home, insulted my son, and dirtied my floor!" Meleanor raises her staff with a furious snarl. The magic surrounding it strikes the ceiling and deflects into multiple bolts of lightning throughout the throne room. "GET OUT OF MY SIGHT AND DO NOT DARKEN MY DOORSTEP EVER AGAIN!"
The nobles scramble back onto their feet and skitter out with fearful screams. The wails of Malleus's attempted suitor echo through the halls of the castle until the doors slam shut behind them.
Meleanor raises her head proudly, huffing a satisfied plume of smoke out of her nostrils. Beside the sighing Lord Levan, Lilia Vanrouge has his head in his hands.
"What nerve, to ask permission for our Malleus's hand whilst showing such disrespectful behavior!" Meleanor spins around with a flare of her cloak and seats herself on her throne, one leg crossed over the other. "I should have incinerated that child where they stood!"
"I'm quite certain your outburst had spoken the message quite clearly, my lady," Lilia says with no small amount of disapproval.
"I agree with Lilia." Malleus's mother whirls around to face him with a betrayed expression on her face. "It is no fault of theirs that I failed to give my full attention to them. They had every right to call out my rude behavior."
Meleanor scowls and tosses her head again. "If you exhibit overly courteous behavior then those stuck-up aristocrats will become too comfortable to speak ill of you. As a dragon, you must present yourself as one!"
"That courteousness is the only reason the staff does not perish within breathing distance of him," Lilia argues. Meleanor shoots him a glare but he isn't deterred. "The poor boy already has issue forming relationships. Your volcanic temper is not doing him any favors."
"I will deal with those interested in the future king of the Briar Lands and my son however I wish! In case you have forgotten, I am your princess and his mother!"
"He is 178, he is not a hatchling, Meleanor!"
"Regardless of his age I have no intention of allowing him to be mistreated or his heart to be broken."
"At the expense of others?!"
"Yes!"
"Ah, there he goes."
Meleanor straightens up from how she had been bent over to glare at the short general and they both look over at Levan. They follow his gaze and briefly see Malleus's tail slipping out of the throne room.
"Darling!" Meleanor gathers her skirt to dash after her son. As Malleus makes his escape, Lilia groans and slumps over the arm of Levan's throne. His friend pats his back in sympathy.
"You really must do something about that wife of yours," Lilia grumbles. Levan laughs nervously, but there's also fondness in his eyes.
"She is simply doing what she thinks is best for our son."
"It isn't and you know it is!" Lilia huffs, craning his neck to glare up at the lord. The corvid fae smiles sweetly and leans towards him with his elbows resting on the armrest.
"Have I told you how much cuter you look when you're angry?"
Lilia sputters, face turning vibrant red. "Be serious!"
"I am serious," Levan hums as he reaches to tuck some hair behind Lilia's ear. The other general swats his hand away and he laughs at the flustered pout on the smaller fae's face. "I pity those nobles, truly I do, but like you and I, I have a feeling our Meleanor knows that our young prince is keeping a secret. So at the end of the day, there is no harm done, hm?"
Lilia gapes and blinks at Levan in bewilderment.
"He told you?"
Levan smiles secretively, a hint of mischievousness in his eyes. He must know as much as Lilia does then, and though he is relieved to know that his friend is supportive of Malleus's feelings, he still dreads the inevitable of Meleanor discovering it for herself. Meleanor is both temperamental and viciously protective of her child, especially since his life had been threatened after she laid his egg during the human invasion centuries ago. It's quite easy to imagine her most likely reaction to her son being interested in courting a human.
"He did. He also requested assistance from me." Levan looks up and his eyes brighten. "There it is now."
Levan waves his hand. Lilia's keen ears catch the sound of beating wings and he turns around to see a window opening. A raven flies into the throne room and settles on Levan's offered arm. The bird caws a greeting to Lilia before bowing its head to the lord.
"Welcome back, my friend," Levan coos as he strokes its wing. "What news do you bring from the Rose Queendom?"
Lilia perks up at mention of the Rose Queendom and looks at the bird with interest. The familiar makes a series of clicks and squawks. Lilia isn't the most fluent in corvid speak so he waits for Levan to translate, but when he looks to his friend, the other fae's smile has turned into an ominous frown.
"…It's not good news, I'm guessing."
----
Malleus typically finds comfort in isolation. It brings him the silence he requires to think and focus on both official and personal matters. Unfortunately though, for his current predicament, his most trusted method of comfort only seems to distress him more.
The conflict between the Rose and Lily Queendoms is taking it's toll on you. It's inevitable—He sees it a lot in Father and Lilia, how their gazes would sometimes look haunted by ghosts unseen to him even when doing the most mundane tasks —but that does not mean Malleus has to like it, or that either him or you should simply allow it to wear you down.
Sometimes, when he is speaking with you, you would get a faraway look in your eyes, lost in thought. During those moments the bags beneath your eyes look more prominent, your body thinner, your skin paler. You would apologise for losing track of the conversation and Malleus would excuse it, but within his chest a pit grew deeper and deeper, filling with irrational concern for you.
The desire to hoard and care for those most cherished to him isn't a foreign feeling to Malleus. He recalls that at a young age he would nest with his parents at night and steal Lilia and his father's weapons to stop them from leaving the castle for their duties. Now, he watches over Silver while he sleeps and sits at the water's edge when Sebek practices his swimming.
It is something normal for dragons to want their loved ones happy and safe, but the way he feels it with you is incomparable. He cares for you, (which had initially surprised him, to care for a strange human) there's no doubt about it, but more than anything else he wants to be the one to care for you, to ensure your safety. To take you away and tuck you inside his wings, to gift you all the luxuries you could ever need so that you would no longer be hurt or troubled.
And the strangest thing? He desires the same thing from you as well. For you to care for him, cherish him, want him, love him. For you to take his hand and let him whisk you away to somewhere the two of you could see and speak to each other every day, where you could sit and listen contentedly to him and him to you and help him with his woes like he wishes to help you with yours.
Confiding in Lilia had been what led him to realise his feelings for you. The older fae's recollection of his parents' courtship had been… concerning, but it reassured Malleus that his desires were not unusual and that, most importantly, his beloved caretaker accepted you.
It had taken more courage to approach Lord Levan, but he should have known that his understanding father would support him wholeheartedly. At Malleus's request, his father had sent one of his ravens to the Queendom and Malleus now spends almost every waking moment anxious for its return.
Telling his mother about you is… another matter entirely.
You were right that it wouldn't be wise to bring you into his home. He loves his mother, but like him, she possesses the nature of the dragon. She is caring, excessively so, and… incredibly protective, to say the least.
And to say that Malleus is fearful of her discovering his romantic feelings for you, a human—a race she loathes with her entire being—is an understatement.
You are fearless, perhaps a little foolish, but not saneless. She will chase you off as she has many others. The incident today was only one of many.
Regardless of his mother's ill manners and your reluctance to be with him, Malleus's heart does not stop yearning and yearn he does as he sits alone in his rose garden, innocent red rose in hand, plucking each poor petal after the other as his thoughts whirl around his mind uselessly.
Perhaps he should have been more insistent. Perhaps he should have taken you back anyway. Perhaps—
"Malleus?"
The click of his mother's heels on the garden's stone path grow louder with each approaching step. Meleanor appears beneath the rose arch to the gazebo and Malleus hurriedly brushes off the petals that have gathered on his lap.
"There you are. I have been looking for you, dear." Mother smiles as she walks up the steps of the gazebo, the long train of her skirt dragging behind her. She eyes the rose petals scattered around him. "What are you doing?"
"Ah. I am picking rose petals… for tea." His mother raises an eyebrow at his reluctant tone so he quickly diverts the topic. "Am I needed somewhere, Mother?"
"No, no." Meleanor sweeps up her cloak to that it isn't trampled beneath her when she takes a seat next to him. "I was merely worried." With gentle claws, she cradles Malleus's chin and lifts his gaze to hers. "I did not scare you, did I?"
"No—" Never, he wants to say. Even if she can summon the most destructive storms and move mountains with a snap of her fingers, Malleus can never be afraid of his mother, but the churning feelings in his gut lodges the words in his throat.
Malleus pulls away from her touch, looking away before he can see her frown. "I apologise, Mother. I exhibited behavior unbecoming of a prince in front of our visitors."
Instead of reprimanding him, his mother laughs. She's always so self-assured; with her magic, with her choices. It's one of the many things he admires but also envies about his mother. If only he can reach that point of confidence in his life much sooner.
"My silly little beast. There is nothing to apologise for," his mother coos, brushing a lock of hair out of his face with a careful talon. "You did no harm. After all, you have been so distracted because you already have your eye on someone, don't you?"
Malleus turns towards his mother, wide-eyed, and her eyes glitter with excitement as she grins.
"How did you—" Malleus stops himself. How is he supposed to tread this? "…Did Father tell you?"
Meleanor's smile falls. "No, but I am hurt you chose to tell him before me."
Malleus swallows. He laces his fingers together in an effort to make himself feel less unsteady. "How do you know, then?"
"Come now, you didn't think a mother would not be able to see that her son has fallen in love, did you?" Meleanor giggles behind her claws, eyes bright with eagerness. She leans in towards her son and lowers her voice to a conspiratorial whisper. "Tell me, tell me; what are they like? How did you meet? And most importantly: When will I meet them?"
Malleus opens his mouth and pauses. What does he tell her? Every scale on his being is restless, eager at the presented opportunity to talk about you, but certainly, he cannot tell his mother about you. About your humanity. She would, as Lilia frequently describes it, erupt. He did not need that display from earlier in the throne room to know this well.
(He grew up all his life with it after all; His mother losing her head at every slight insult or threat towards him and striking it with bolts of lightning until it runs away screaming.)
Malleus does not fear his mother, let alone resent her, but he does rather often catch himself wondering what it would be like if she were not so hot-headed.
"They are…" Malleus quickly trails off as soon as the attempt begins. He glances at his mother warily. She is giving him her full attention. The support should be encouraging, but the dread within him only increases. "You cannot meet them."
His mother reels back as if he had shocked her with electricity. Her eyes widen and then narrow. Her brows furrow and her lips pull into a displeased pout.
"Whyever not? …Are you ashamed of me?"
"What? No, of course not!"
"Embarrassed, perhaps?"
"Far from it."
"Then do you fear that I would scare them off?"
"Yes— Ah, I mean—!" Malleus screws his mouth shut and looks away again. Meleanor chuckles in amusement.
"Silly beast," she tuts. Behind him, Malleus's tail thumps agitatedly and she twines her own around it to soothe him. "I am flattered that you think so highly of me, but I assure you that any mate worthy of you will not cower so easily before me."
Malleus wraps his tail around his mother's offered one, but his expression is one of scepticism. "How do you know for certain? Do you truly have so much faith in my choice of a partner?"
"Oh, of course not! You are still just a little beast after all," Meleanor teases with a light pinch to his cheek. "What I mean is that, whoever you choose, we shall know if they are truly the correct mate for you if they remain beside you regardless of any trials."
"Oh… I see…" Malleus lowers his head. He clasps his hands tightly together. He can still remember the phantom feeling of your own hands on them, of you pulling away from him. Of him watching your retreating back after once more rejecting his offer to take you away.
"Darling?" His mother places her hands on his and the memory fades away. "Is something the matter?"
"I… I want you to meet them, truly I do, but…" Your face flashes before his eyes again, with it your shy smile and your voice whispering,
"Someday."
Malleus gathers his resolve and faces his mother. "Not anytime soon, I fear."
His mother pouts again. "Oh, come now—!"
"I don't think they would fear you." There's no way to know for certain until you actually meet her, but it is something he's fairly confident in. "It is that… they are currently occupied and will not be able to make time to come to our lands in the near future."
Meleanor's eyes light up with newfound interest. "Oh? They are not of the Briar Fae?"
Malleus bites his lip anxiously. "Er, no. They are—"
A bird sings overhead. The two dragons on the gazebo lift their heads and see a silver-haired knight walk through the rose arch.
"Lady Meleanor, Lord Malleus." Silver dips into a quick bow and rises again. "I apologise for interrupting."
"Oh, Silver! What a pleasant surprise. Have you finished your training today? Come, come. It has been too long since we last spoke." Meleanor beckons to the young knight to sit next to her.
"Er, if I recall correctly, we spoke just this morning—!"
Meleanor doesn't let him hesitate for long. She crooks her finger and wisps of purple magic tug on his uniform until he's standing on the gazebo.
"I apologise profusely, my lady," Silver stammers as her magic fades off of his clothes. "But I'm afraid I cannot stay long, my father requests to see Lord Malleus—"
"Does he!" Meleanor's eyebrows are arched, her expression devious in a way both boys know does not hold good intentions for their respective fathers. "How fortunate, I was hoping to speak to him about Malleus."
"Mother—"
"Lady Meleanor—"
Before either boy could get a word in, magic begins to swirl around the princess's fingers and she chants, "Come, my eyes and ears, my wings and feet."
Magic swirls and shimmers around her. Beneath her feet, her shadow ripples, and a raven bursts out of it with a frantic caw.
"Now why are you in such a hurry?" Meleanor tuts, easily catching the bird out of the air before it could fly off. The bird squawks and flaps its one wing that hadn't managed to be caught in her hand. She directs a firm gaze on it and it freezes, letting a pathetic noise out of its beak. Malleus winces in sympathy.
"Where is my Right?" Meleanor looks down at her shadow, displeased, but quickly smiles again when she turns to Silver. "Give me a hand, dear."
With them pointing downwards, Meleanor pinches together the thumb and forefinger of her free hand. She makes a pulling motion and a squealing bat emerges out of Silver's shadow. It manages to escape the princess's grasp on it but only briefly before she catches it by its legs.
The bat squeaks and screams, no doubt profanities blasphemous when directed at the crown princess, but she is unfazed. Silver looks down at the poor creature apologetically as it clings to his uniform in an attempt to shake off the dragoness's claws.
"What is the matter with you? Stop behaving so childishly. Look, your son is being much more mature than you, how embarrassing." Meleanor forces the bat to let go of the boy and holds it upside down, continuing to be unfazed as it claws at her lace gloves angrily. "You should know better than to ignore a summons from your mistress."
She shakes the bat in a not-so-gentle manner and the animal grows in size and changes shape until Lilia is hanging by the ankles. The raven does the same, but Meleanor lets Levan go so he can perch on her arm more comfortably.
"—the matter with you! You absolutely insane princess!" Lilia yells once he's finally taken his two-legged form again.
"Yes, you're very adorable, dear," Meleanor says dismissively with a pinch to his nose. Lilia hisses at her, but despite his complaints there's no real heat to them and he calms down quickly. "Now, my loves, when were the two of you going to tell me that a secret someone has caught our Malleus's interest?"
"I sincerely apologise, darling," Levan says mournfully, and any amount of aggression in his wife's expression fades away when he pecks a kiss on her cheek. "but it was not our secret to tell."
"Alright, I suppose I can forgive that. I'm sorry, dears." Meleanor looks at her son and husband fondly but scowls when she turns to Lilia. "Not you."
Lilia sticks his tongue out at her without remorse. With difficulty, he twists around to address Silver. "You've found Malleus! Well done, my boy."
"Thank… you, Father."
"What is it that you wished to speak to me about?" Malleus asks, tilting his head in an effort to meet Lilia's eyes. The bat fae exchanges a look with the prince's father and then glances at the princess holding him captive.
"Perhaps we should wait until later—"
"Wonderful, since I wished to speak to both of you about a different matter." Meleanor's expression turns into a deceptively sweet one that immediately has Lilia's face souring. "My loves, would you tell Malleus that you also desperately wish to meet this secret potential mate of his?"
She flutters her eyelashes for good measure. Malleus sighs and shakes his head.
"Mother…"
"I know what you said, but perhaps with encouragement from all three of us we can twist a few rules…"
"Actually, my love, what we wish to discuss concerns this… person." Meleanor raises an inquisitive eyebrow at her husband sitting on her arm.
"What?" All eyes turn to Malleus. The prince suddenly rises from his seat, pupils thinned to slits. Leftover rose petals scatter to his feet. "Has something happened to them?"
"I apologise, Malleus, but Lilia is right." Levan casts a quick look towards Meleanor and Malleus understands immediately.
Meleanor looks frustratedly between her son and husband, unhappy at being the only one uninformed. "Now what is this about? Why are you so reluctant to speak of this person within my presence?"
Lilia purses his lips, determined to not say a thing, meanwhile Levan looks towards his son again meaningfully.
Malleus takes a breath.
"It is what I have been meaning to tell you. Mother…" Malleus glances at Silver standing to the side, at attention. "Silver is a human."
Meleanor blinks. She looks at Silver, back at Malleus, and then bursts into laughter.
"But of course he is, silly beast!"
Malleus attempts to continue, but she doesn't stop laughing like it's the most hilarious joke she's heard in a century. He looks to his father helplessly. Levan gives him an encouraging smile but the doubt that twitches the edges of his lips isn't very reassuring. Meanwhile, Lilia sighs exasperatedly and Silver frowns in confusion.
"Well, Mother…" Meleanor keeps laughing and the longer the seconds tick by the more his confidence falters. Perhaps… If he says it now, she won't hear and she can remain in ignorant bliss. "This person I am in love with is a human as well."
The laughter stops so abruptly that the deadly silence sounds as loud as a crash of thunder.
"What."

The Last Wolf of Lankiveil
Part 2 of Queen of Light, King of Darkness ft the poll thanks to @jennathearcher @lady-phasma for the idea of the were-feyd fic

Cw: murder, blood, lycanthropy
Tumblr media
For all his reputation as a Beast and Count of Lankiveil, Glossu Rabban had not inherited their mother’s true nature thanks to their father’s wretched human blood.
Feyd Rautha had inherited more than just Onir Rautha's name, he had inherited his lycanthropy.
A true Beast, like those who ruled Lankiveil's icy lands before the Harkonnen's hunted them to extinction.
A shame his mother had to die to keep his true nature a mystery from his beloved uncle. As his mother’s son, Feyd will make sure her death wasn’t in vain.
The universe will be ruled by the last Wolf of Lankiveil.
And for that to happen, Paul Atreides and his wife, Feyd’s own sister-in-law had to die. He’d done away with Atreides’ pet and the bastard in her belly, and you deserved a gift as magnificent as the one you gave him that morning in Arrakis.
“We were hoping you could join us for a hunt in my son’s honor.” Feyd gives no indication of what he has planned for the Muad’Dib and the wife he refuses to even touch.
It is not that difficult; his wolf form could not be sensed, and he had received enough training to hone the abilities that would have created the Kwisatz Haderach. He can hide from their visions and escape their control completely.
“I am sure my wife longs to see her sister and our nephew again. We will be there, cousin.” Paul’s eyes hold some suspicion, but their alliance has chipped away at most of it. As far as his cousin knows, Feyd is a simple man with simple pleasures. Give him something to respect in you and a weapon in his hands and he will massacre entire planets in your name.
But the young baron is a father now and his perfect little heir can’t aspire to be his uncle’s heir when his lady mother is far more deserving of the Throne.
You, his Queen of Light, his Nurbanu, deserved the universe.
Tumblr media
There is something other about him. Something related to his violent nature and the moon.
You had heard the rumors of the lycanthropy that plagued House Rabban, but one thing was hearing stories about the wolves of Lankiveil and another one was seeing her husband leave for a hunt on a full moon and hear a wolf’s howl unlike aby you’ve ever heard.
Irulan and Paul would be visiting some village across the forest that had myths of the Kwisatz Haderach they wanted to take advantage of.
You weren’t supposed to follow, you were supposed to stay home with Murad who would turn one year old tomorrow. But you wanted to confirm your suspicions.
You arrive at the village to find it in chaos. It had been destroyed as if something ravaged it and its people. Like a one man army.
“The Wolf of Lankiveil!” they shout in fear and adoration. “The Kwisatz Haderach has been destroyed!”
Contrary to popular belief, you didn’t hate your sister. She annoyed you and stood between you and your throne, but you didn’t hate her. And while you knew this day would come, you knew you would feel terrible for murdering her.
Feyd didn’t understand that part, he didn’t have a single positive memory of his brother nor any chance to be a friend to anyone.
You find the wolf at the edge of the village and you smile at the sight of him.
Your guards beg you to keep away, fearing what would happen if the wolf carried you off.
None recognize the blue human eyes in the wolf.
Your Feyd, your husband.
You believed yourself immune to him, that his violence would keep you from ever falling in love with him, but in the end he grew on you. Like mold on rotten fruit.
“So this is where you went off to, dear husband?” you ask the man beast covered in the blood of innocents.
Come with me.
No need to tell you twice. In a fluid movement you’ve gotten on his back and he takes off at breakneck speeds.
It is thrilling, to feel the icy wind around you as you use all your abilities to remain in place. You can hear his laugh echo in yours as you ride through the woods.
Not long after the wolf begins to shift, the fur thinning, the canine body losing its structure in favor of something human like and soon you arrive to his hideout clutching his back. You must look ridiculous piggybacking a bloody and very naked Feyd.
“Did you like your gift, wife?” his black teeth still have blood from where he tore apart his victims and the red staining his snow like skin paints a beautiful picture.
“How could I not, my baron?” you kiss his bloody mouth and show how much you love his gift, how much you love him.
Your daughter ,Asena Rautha, conceived that night, is born a wolf.
Just like her father.

Funniest SAGAU reverse isekai settings for them to pop into existence in:
1. Renaissance fair
2. Norway (Khaenri’ah is based off Norway so I think everyone would freak out)
3. Anime/Video game convention
4. New York City babey (or any major city) (like Enchanted but worse)
6. Haunted house
Nobody is having a good time, but it would be so funny.
I am so very sorry that it took me this long to write this, life kept throwing things at me and so I died before writing this
I haven't been to most of these places, but you are so correct, I'm mostly having them react to the places, and it's not necessarily focused on them searching for you
If it wasn't quite how you wanted, please ask again? I'll try my best
Renfaire:
Fischl, would fit perfectly in a Renfaire, overwelmed at first but slow grows to like more and more, before proudly proclaiming "I am the Prinzessin der Verurteilung" and all the people clap and bow down and respect her like a princess
What about Ayaka, joining in, changing into some of the clothes available and joining into the festivities, someplace where her responsibility don't weigh on her, somewhere the honor of her family doesn't follow her like a shadow
Both girls probably would this a blessing from 'Your Grace' a chance to relax and unwind in a place that welcomes them so warmly
Norway:
Dainsleif holds a bated breath as he looks around the place, familiar yet, unfamiliar. He torn on whether this is a gift from you or a curse, just what has he done to deserve this?
Zhongli feels his memories of the war coming back to him, flooding his thoughts, so many people... dead, why did you show him this place? Did you want to him something? Are you displeased with him?
Norway fills those who know about Khaenri'ah with a hidden dread, they misunderstand and think somethings changing, the world's getting overturned
Anime/Video Game Con
Nahida walks around the con glancing around, she understands that she's in a different world almost instantly, she's curious about the customs and world she just appeared in, does everyone try and imitate others? She does rather feel unnerved around the Dottore cosplayers
Collei immediately gets intimidated by all the loud sounds and the bumping bodies, although luckily several kind cosplayers took care of her and gently lead her away from the crowd, she honestly just very confusing and overstimulated
The con is a curious place for those who visit it and almost everyone who has trauma from Dottore wonder why there's so many Dottore clones all in one place
New York City:
Venti feels stifled, the air didn't have the same clean crispness of Teyvat, and although the sights are sounds of city are music to his ears, the air pushes on his chest like a heavy weight, making it hard for him to full enjoy his trip into the real world
Xinyan absolutely loves the city, the aesthetic, the feeling of expression, all kinds of music and styles, she wasn't getting weird stares or her style choice, she love her time in the city, her only problem? The how dirty the streets were
In New York City, it goes about as well as you'd expect, it's exciting to all the new sights, however... if it's extremely easy for one to get overstimulated
Haunted House:
Chongyun probably knocked out the first person that tried to scare him before realizing that it was just a normal person and not a evil spirit, he still gets his hopes up that he'll encounter a true ghost through
Hu Tao absolutely loves scaring the cast and guests, she'll find all the hiding spots and lay in wait for her next victim, honestly has a huge blast even though she's been transported into a different world
A/N Ahhhhh I posted it too early!!!!!!
Thanks for Reading

This is a thank you, not an ask. I guess I would be classified as a lurker in the Tumbler world since I primarily only read what others write.  But I did make a comment to you once and you responded so you made me feel comfortable enough that I could send this to you.  Shippers have unknowingly been helping me stay sane these past few years.  My husband has Alzheimer’s with Aphasia and I have been his sole caretaker for a long time.  Having this responsibility is not for the faint of heart. One day in early 2019 I stumbled across Outlander and like a lot of others, was in, hook, line and sinker and Jamie & Claire and Sam & Cait became part of my daily life.  Last week I had to place my husband in a memory care facility.  It was an agonizing decision and I prayed for a sign that this was the right move.  As stupid as this may sound, I think my prayer was answered.  On the second day he made a friend.  His name is Jamie.  Only in the Outlander world would this have any meaning, but we've now got a sweet Jamie in our lives.  You may officially call me crazy.  Thank you to you and all the other shippers for all the smiles and happiness you've brought to me and many others. It kept me going.
Dear @jovialchaoslover,
By all means, do not thank me, even if I felt incredibly moved and honored by your submission, on behalf of the entire OL Shipper community. In fact, I should thank you, because for all those name calling and finger pointing Anons, you get to read something as genuine, moving and personal. These moments are rare and precious (and should remain so). They make you feel useful, in a very unexpected way.
You are one of those daily life unsung heroes and I want you to know that you are probably way stronger than you would ever think. I can only imagine the kind of experience you are now going through, even if I am (like many daughters, all around the world) only too aware of the cruelty with which old age sometimes disfigures beloved family members. I have only a remote idea of my own grandmother's quick descent into dementia and death, but I do have a very direct experience of the grueling toll it took on our family. Especially on my own mother, who let everything go and cared for her until the very last moment.
With the proper care solution in place, you will find yourself with a lot of time on your hands. A spare time you perhaps forgot existed. Please (I urge you) use it wisely and never forget this is all about you. You more than deserve it and the moment is now. I may know a thing or two about emptiness and void. They are incredibly enticing and treacherous. Please try and do something for you every single day. It does not matter if it is important or completely futile: it is about YOU and changing the angle will change everything. Remember the wonderful woman I am sure you are and try to reconnect with her. I can promise you she is not very far and I bet she misses you, too.
Last but not least, let me tell you that I will never call you crazy for having shared that Jamie story with us. I think it was very brave of you and I can confidently tell you it even has a name. What you experienced is called synchronicity and it is part of the tiny and personal magic of daily life. People as serious as Carl Gustav Jung dedicated their life to try and make some sense of this. And it all started with one of his patients (he was a shrink) describing a very vivid, recurrent dream of hers, that featured a scarab beetle. At the very same time, they both saw a scarab beetle (uncharacteristically) tapping on the window. The woman was not instantly cured (psychoanalysis does not exactly work like this), but it helped both of them overcome a very frustrating communication barrier.
That Jamie story is a real synchronicity, too, because it is meaningful for you and nobody else. It happened for a reason you are the only one to understand, in time. I could talk about it for hours and link it (as Jung did) with my beloved I Ching or with a couple of dead(ly) serious German philosophers, for some extra gravitas. But I am not going to over-complicate things. You got this. You are strong and brave and believe it or not, I am sure you are also loved by many.
I also think Caitriona Mary Balfe and Sam Roland Heughan should read your ask, finally understand their magic brought solace to many, many people around the world and get their damn act together for Season 8. But that is a different story altogether.
For the rest, if you want, we will be here for you. Me and probably other kind people on this side of the fence. Anytime you want, here or in DM. It may not be much, but it is something.
PS: that may or may not have brought a #silly tear, you know.

Between the Bones (Leon x GN! Reader) - Chapter 6
You were fairly sure that, when one has a bad dream, they shouldn't look for comfort in a knife fight. Even so, it doesn't stop you.

TW: flashbacks/nightmares, ptsd, angst, terrible coping mechanisms
Tumblr media
The song, as far as you were concerned, was stupid. Nonsense. Even so, you were smiling as it played. You weren’t alone in that. The faces around you were smiling, too. Laughing, eyes bright with joy. Even in army fatigues, those smiles managed to make them all look young. Carefree.
You all huddled together around the radio, talking about how you wished the woman singing would just tell the audience what she “really, really wanted” in fewer words. Every person complained about the song, saying that you should all be listening to real music. Even so, no one made a move to change the station. Instead, they let the song play on, forgetting for a moment where and who they were. You watched from outside your own body, an unknown observer to a memory that didn’t feel like your own.
No, whoever’s memory this was, they didn’t know to cherish this insignificant little moment. They didn’t know not to roll their eyes when David started dancing to the song, or to laugh harder at Sasha’s appalled expression when he did.
They didn’t know that they would remember those names for all the wrong reasons. Too many more that you would never, ever forget, even if the world had. Names that were not given the places of honor that they deserved, but instead were slapped on some rock in a field, their bodies not even allowed to be placed beneath the headstones.
You remembered them, just as you remembered the name on the spare tag that hung around your neck.
That name meant everything to you, once. It had been your home and haven, your guidance when your world was reduced to ashes.
And now, it was a reminder that nothing was safe. Nothing and no one.
“Sergeant.” His voice called to you, and you turned.
You would know that face anywhere, even with the tarnish of rot on it like it was now. Eyes that had been wise and warm were now empty, his skin paled by death. His fatigues were covered in blood, and his mouth hung open in a silent scream. Part of his head was missing from where you’d shot him. Where you’d killed him.
“Captain . . .” you breathed.
The music was gone. The voices of your friends, your brothers in arms, were gone. In their place, there were moans and snarls. More figures appeared from the dark, all wearing the twisted faces of people you’d lived with, trained with. Fought beside. Shared laughs and stories with.
Calling their names did nothing, because they weren’t them anymore. You could only run, and run you did. Until the walls around you seemed to melt away into the black of night. Snow and ice crunched under your boots, and you were so busy looking behind you at the corpses trailing you, that you didn’t see the figure in front of you.
You didn’t see the knife until it was buried to the hilt in your side.
Eyes wide, you looked into the darkness, not believing what was happening to you, even though you’d lived and re-lived it a hundred times. You still couldn’t fathom it as the knife was torn free, taking chunks of flesh with it. When it slid back into your belly, you crumpled to the cold ground. It kept going until you were lying face up, staring at the snow falling over you.
When you were gone, would you become like the rest? Would your broken body carry on for a while, looking for someone to sink your teeth into? Would you lose yourself completely?
Let me die, you hoped. Prayed. Let me die and stay dead.
You knew it wouldn’t mean anything. You knew it as the knife disappeared, and teeth took its place. So, you could only scream as they descended on you, their hands and teeth setting to work. Tearing into you, ripping you apart-
It hadn’t ended that way. That was the only way you’d known it was a dream. The only reason you’d been able to pull yourself out of it in time was because those corpses wearing the faces of your friends hadn’t pulled you limb from limb. The knife and its wielder hadn’t come from the shadows. You should have seen it coming a mile away. There were so many things that you should have done, and your mind loved to remind you of them.
You survived. However much your dreams liked to make you imagine otherwise. However much, sometimes, in the back of your mind, there was a whispering that you shouldn’t have.
Your hand found its way to the dog tags that hung at your chest, and you squeezed all three so tightly in your grip that the names likely made impressions on your palm. Your name, and a name that you hadn’t spoken aloud since that day in the snow, since you were forced to turn a gun on its owner.
You couldn’t read the name ‘Simon Reynolds’ in the dark, but you knew it was there. It weighed on you heavily, like it always did. Like you needed it to.
“Fuck,” you breathed, trying to calm your racing mind and heart. Then, after a moment, you let yourself fall back into your bed. Wouldn't find any sleep there, so you just repeated the mantra you’d clung to since you’d woken up in the hospital, your belly full of stitches and your life forever changed.
Never again.
⧫⧫⧫
Leon had become well-acquainted with the sinking feeling that something was wrong. He’d experienced it when he’d driven towards Raccoon City not too long ago, and since then, it had become something he learned to recognize and pay attention to.
He felt a lesser version of that feeling when, on the way to his morning drills, he saw you across the camp.
You were talking to Krauser, the Major’s arms crossed over his chest. Leon couldn’t see your face, not with your back to him. Krauser, though, looked pensive. He nodded once, saying something Leon was too far away to hear, and then walked past you. That feeling of dread came to Leon when he saw the smirk that Krauser wore.
Leon didn’t have the opportunity to talk to you about that or about the conversation from the night before. Not before he and his squad filed into formation, each of them readying themselves for whatever was to come. Leon thought, for a moment, that you had been messing with him, because you weren’t there waiting for them. That worry was replaced by something worse when Krauser stepped up to the group.
“Got something special for you today,” he began. “A preview of what you’re all in for.” He was smiling wide when you approached, and you weren’t alone. Leon recognized your squad falling into formation alongside his own.
What the hell was going on?
“Sergeant,” Krauser called, and you stepped forward. Any of the mirth that had lit up your eyes last night was gone, but so was the strength he usually saw in you. You looked resigned to your fate, whatever was about to happen. Like you were bracing for a storm that you knew was going to overtake you. You didn’t spare him any glances, and Leon had to wrestle down the urge to ask you if you were alright. Now wasn’t the time. Not as Krauser tossed you a practice knife and ordered your first opponent to step forward. It was one of Leon’s squad, but as Krauser went down the line with each one of your victories, Leon knew that it wouldn’t be long before you were faced down with someone at your own skill level.
You knew it, too. You weren’t taking any risks - each of your movements meant to conserve as much energy as you could manage. Now that you were armed, the fights went faster - you could afford to be more aggressive. It saved you some time, but Leon’s squad had been improving and you had double the people to fight through. Twenty opponents, and the more difficult ones were going last.
Leon wanted to say he had faith in you, but the way you looked before you’d started . . .
He almost didn’t see it, he was so busy watching you fight. Still, Krauser’s red beret was difficult to miss. It pulled Leon’s focus, the recruit watching as his commanding officer strode over to the line of soldiers standing at attention while you fought. You’d made it through your first two opponents when Krauser placed his hand on the shoulder of a tall, intense looking man at the end of the line. One of your squad mates - Alejandro, if Leon remembered correctly.
The Major’s mouth moved, and Leon stiffened as Alejandro broke from formation, stalking towards the fight that was happening in front of him.
He didn’t realize that Krauser had handed him a practice blade until it was arcing towards you.
Your eyes went wide, realizing you had another threat to deal with in the middle of blocking a swing. Leon’s squad mate, a shorter young man named Shinoda, looked just as confused as you. He backed away as Alejandro attacked, mercifully giving you the time you needed to put up a defense. You countered before stepping away, looking between the two men you’d been faced with.
“You’re not going to be fighting just one opponent out there,” Krauser said, walking behind the two squads as he went on. “And you won’t always know the enemy is coming until they’re right on top of you. But you’ll also have the opportunity to work together, even if it ends up being with soldiers you’re unfamiliar with. So, Shinoda, Garza-” Leon couldn’t look behind him to see the Major’s face, but he just knew by the sound of his voice that he was smiling. “Make our Sergeant here work for a win, why don’t you?”
This wasn’t fair. By the surprise still plastered over your face, you hadn’t been expecting to be tag-teamed. Whatever you’d been bracing yourself for at the beginning, Krauser had circumvented. It made Leon angry on your behalf, but that emotion took a back seat to his desire for you to win. You were a damn good fighter - one of the best Leon had ever seen. Even so, he knew from experience that once more than one opponent was added to the mix, everything changed. Your head was on a swivel, trying to keep track of the two of them as they circled you. Alejandro went around, moving to flank you, to trap you between his knife and Shinoda’s.
The two cadets looked first to each other, and then to you. Then, with an understanding between them, they attacked.
Leon felt his heart skip a beat as Shinoda slashed at you, going for your knife arm. He wasn’t as fast as you were, and he didn’t manage to avoid the counter cut you gave him across his own arm - a move that would have cut deep into his triceps.
You’d decommissioned his good arm, but the moment you’d done it, there was another knife coming down at you.
Alejandro was taller than you, letting him comfortably bring his knife down towards your shoulder in a reverse grip. Your own arm flashed up so fast Leon almost missed the block and bind you managed to execute, just in time. What he saw with perfect clarity, however, was the fist that Alejandro raised to follow through. He saw it swing towards you, and his breath caught in his throat when he watched it connect with your nose in full force.
You yelped, the force of the blow and your own feet scrambling sending you back, away from your opponents. Your free hand covered your mouth and nose, and when you pulled it away to examine it, Leon saw red.
There were some sharp breaths taken in, a few murmurs, but no one said anything in protest to the hit. And Krauser? Leon turned to look at the Major, only to find him watching the fight, unbothered. “At attention, Rookie,” he barked, when he felt Leon’s eyes on him. “You might even learn something.”
Leon remembered that first day he’d met you, when you’d struck him with that backfist. Krauser hadn’t stopped you, then, and Leon knew that he wasn’t going to stop this now.
“Bruises are the best teachers.”
By the time Leon looked back at you, your attackers had already moved again, taking advantage of the opening the punch had created. The onslaught that followed was brutal, and you were forced further and further back as you tried to defend. He saw your fear just as much as he saw your focus, and all he could think of was your words last night, and what they implied you’d been through.
“. . . I was making the same mistakes . . .”
This was wrong. Even if he understood why it was happening, Leon could only think that it was wrong.
But then, wrong or not, you weren’t asking them to stop. You didn’t even look to Krauser as the two men you were fighting lunged for you. You just bared your teeth, raised your blade, and fought back.
When you had an opening, you went for Shinoda. It was the smart move, he was slower than Alejandro. Less experienced. If you could get him off the board, it might give you a moment to focus on the bigger threat. It worked, too. Circling the shorter man as he struck out, you managed to get him between you and Alejandro, just for a moment. Then, in a few quick moves, you were dragging your blade across his gut before kicking him towards his impromptu ally.
And before you even got the chance to advance on Alejandro, Krauser moved and another soldier from your squad was sent forward.
It was a training exercise. A brutal one, yes, but he knew that you would walk away from this, no matter how hurt you’d be. Krauser wasn’t looking to kill you.
It was just a training exercise.
That didn’t make it bother him any less. Standing there, watching as you avoided knives by just a heartbeat, or take punches and kicks that you weren’t fast enough to dodge . . . it felt like there was something in him, clawing its way through his stomach, demanding that he move. That he do something.
You groaned as you took a knee to the stomach, just narrowly countering the overhead stab that followed. Twisting out of the hold and slashing wildly, you put some distance between yourself and your attackers. The guard that you put up after was half-formed, and you spat out some of the blood that had made its way past your lips. You were going to keep going, even if it was a losing battle.
And he wasn’t going to just sit by and do nothing.
You were in pain, and this was wrong. That was all it boiled down to.
Krauser would kick the shit out of him if he interfered. If any one of them disobeyed an order, there would be consequences.
In that moment, though, as Leon watched you get taken to the ground, he realized that he didn’t really care.
⧫⧫⧫
You were going to lose.
You’d known that going in, but seeing two knives coming at you after the dreams you had . . . you were unfocused. Unraveling. You'd needed this to ground you, even if it really fucking hurt. You tasted copper and it, combined with the strikes your gut had taken, made you feel like you were going to be sick.
Not a dignified ending to things, but there were very few ways to lose with dignity, in your experience. Best you could do was go down swinging and do better next time.
Alejandro blocked a strike from you, and his leg moved just a little too fast, hooking behind your own and pulling it out from under you. You hit the ground hard, the back of your head smacking into the dirt with a pain that felt like background noise. All your focus, once your eyes opened, was on the shadow passing over you and the knife it brought with it. You got your guard up just in time, and Alejandro’s knife stopped just short of your neck. He stopped your own knife just in time, too, and the two of you struggled for no more than half a second before a second shape came into view.
This was it, then. At least you could say you put up a decent fight-
You looked over just in time to see a boot connect with the back of your other opponent’s knee, forcing her down.
“Kennedy!” Krauser barked, just as someone took the knife from the woman’s hand and slashed its dulled blade across her throat. “Back in formation!”
The recruit in question wasn’t listening, and you watched him rush towards you, his newly acquired knife aimed at Alejandro’s side.
Oh, Leon. You absolute dumbass, you could only think as the soldier on top of you realized he was about to have more company than he planned on. Alejandro wasn’t the sort to let anyone get the drop on him, and he ducked away, rolling off to your side and freeing you from his hold.
Once he was gone, you realized just how dazed you were as a hand was offered to you. It took you a second to process who it belonged to, but then you saw that hair above you, and you sighed.
“What the fuck are you doing?” you asked, letting Leon help you up. Your head hurt, and so did your ribs, but his grip on you was steady and more reassuring than it had any right to be. Even so, him rushing to your side, disobeying orders . . . it made you feel a lot of things, and you didn’t have the time to put names to them all. “Get back in line,” you hissed, but it was too late.
“Are you deaf, Kennedy?” Krauser asked, and you wished he sounded more angry and less amused. “Or are you intentionally disobeying an order?”
Leon swallowed, but that was the only sign he gave that he was nervous. As he met Krauser’s stare, you realized just how brave this boy was. Brave or stupid. “‘You won't always know an enemy is coming until they’re on top of you,’ right?” He threw the Major's own words back in his face, and even you winced.
Krauser’s eyes flashed, and then, God help you both, he smiled. “You want to play the hero, Rookie? Fine. Soto, Andersen.” You recognized both as people in your squad. Valeria was the owner of the first name, and she stepped forward with a glinting smile. Andersen. . . well, he was quiet, just like you. He was there to get the job done. He followed orders, and whatever Krauser wanted done now, he would do it with haste.  “You’re with Garza. Beat some sense into Kennedy.”
You were surrounded, Alejandro on one side, Valeria and Andersen on the other. You were slow, tired and in more pain than you wanted to admit. Leon was fine, but he struggled against you. These soldiers were easily at your level.
Things weren’t looking good, but you raised your knife anyway.
It would be a good learning experience, once the hurt faded a bit.
“You take Alejandro,” you said to Leon, stepping between him and the two fresh challengers. “I’ve got these two.”
Leon nodded, moving into a guard and covering your back just as you covered his. He didn’t look fazed at all. It was the first time you’d ever seen him so sure of himself. You didn’t let yourself linger on that thought for long, not with the two knives in front of you coming ever closer.
But you weren’t alone. How long had it been since you hadn’t been alone?
“What’d you do to get him to like you so much?” Valeria laughed, spinning the knife in her hand with practiced ease. She looked past your shoulder at Leon, but you commanded her attention back to you when you sliced at her, missing her leg but making her retreat all the same.
It was a fair question. It felt like all you’d done for Leon Kennedy was kick his ass six ways to Sunday, and maybe give him the occasional apology for doing it. You couldn’t fathom why he was willing to jump into a fight for you. Still, all evidence pointed to the fact that Leon did, for some reason, enjoy your company. Even if it was so often delivered at the end of a knife. Whatever the case, you’d come to like him, too, as dangerous as that was.
He was going to catch hell for this. Least you could do was make it as easy for him as possible.
So, when Valeria asked that concerning and puzzling question, you just exhaled hard through your nostrils, a spray of partially dried blood heralding your answer. “Shut up and fight.”

Forget Me Not...
Pairing: Loki x reader
Warnings: mentions of injury, mentions of memory loss, depression, hurt, crying, anger, exhaustion, hallucinations, illness, all the angst, no happy ending in site......
Summary: Loki reads your letter, and is determined to find a way to get his memory back.
*I just want to say thank you to everyone who has read, commented and reblogged!! This has really become its own thing at this point and it means alot to me that you guys like it!!! This isn't the end......
Part two- Part three-
====================================
Tumblr media
Loki sat on the bed, running his hand through his hair, sighing as he opened the envelope, hoping something would spark some memory...
My Dearest Loki,
I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted you to know I didn't leave because of you, this was not your fault, so please don't blame yourself. The time we had together was the best of my life. You gave me something no one else ever had, love. No one before you could compare to you, and there could never be anyone for me after you. My heart will never be capable of loving another, I will forever be yours. Whatever happens, please know I will always be thinking of you, but I could not stay. The pain was too much to bear. I hope life gives you everything you've ever wanted, you deserve all of the love and kindness you think you are unworthy of. In the year that I got to share with you, I saw a side of you I believe not many, if any have seen. And I am honored to have been the one that you loved, that you trusted with your heart. I know life hasn't been kind to you, but it made you the beautiful person you are, never forget how simply amazing you are my love. Never let this world dim your light. And know, through everything you endure, and all the hardships you may face, I am with you, heart and soul. You have my heart, and you always will, forever.
All my love, always- y/n 💚
Loki sat, reading the letter over and over as he felt tears stream down his cheek. A year, he and been with you a year before the accident and he remembered none of it. He pulled the ring out, looking at it as the light reflected off of it. "How can I not remember you y/n?" He said to himself as he closed the box, setting it on the nightstand.
He wiped his face, getting up and heading to the kitchen, he needed something to help calm him. He sat the kettle on the stove, seeing Thor walk in "Brother. Could you not sleep?" Thor asked sitting down. "No, too much on my mind. You?" He asked "I as well, I just.....i wish things had been different." Thor said looking down. "Thor, i know you have told me before, but y/n and I, I was prepared to propose?" Loki aaked grabbing the tea bags "Yes Loki, you had been dating y/n for almost a year, you had just asked her to move in with you when...." he said training off.
"The accident." Loki finished leaning on the counter. "I am sorry brother, this is all my fault." Thor said running his hand through his hair. "From what i am told, it was an accident, a miscalculation." Loki said furrowing his eyebrows. "That may be, but if I hadn't.." he said looking at Loki, tears in his eyes "Thor, you are not to blame. I just.....how can I forget someone I care for so much?" Loki asked as tears formed in his eyes. Thor got up, walking around the counter standing in front of Loki "Don't stab me ok?" He said as Loki huffed a laugh and Thor pulled him into a hug.
Loki returned the hug as tears streamed down his cheeks "what am I going to do?" He asked as Thor released him. "I am not sure. It has been almost six months, and your memory has yet to return. I dont know if there is anything we can do." Thor said leaning on the counter. "I have been having dreams of her, memories I am sure of it now. They are trying to push through, but when I wake, they are gone." Loki said as the kettle screamed.
He stood sipping his tea "What of the witch, Wanda, can she not enter my mind?" Loki asked Thor. "I believe so but I don't think she likes doing it." He said looking at Loki. "I will speak to her tomorrow, I have to find a way Thor, and she may be my only hope" he said, setting his cup in the sink. "Then I shall go with you, I want to help anyway I can." Thor said as Loki nodded. He had a plan, he just hoped it wasn't too late.
Tumblr media
You laid in bed, waking from another dream as you stared at the ceiling, tears streaming across your face. This time, your brain assaulted you with dreams of you and Loki..
"Do you know how much I love you y/n?" Loki asked, your limbs tangled together.
"Mmm, I think I may have an idea." You said smiling.
"Then you would be wrong my love." He smiled "I love you as the moon loves the stars. As the flowers love the sun. I have traveled through life, merely existing until I met you. Your smile, your laugh, your kind heart have all ignited my soul. I need you as I need air. Without you, I'm afraid my heart would stop and I would cease to exist." He said, gazing into your eyes, cupping your cheek.
You put your hand over your mouth, muffling your sobs as the tears continued. If this was life without Loki, you didn't want it. A world without him was one you didn't want to be in. But some small, tiny spot in your heart held hope. Hope that one day he would remember. One day he would come back to you. But would it be too late? He was already living with Melissa, what if he married her, started a family with her? What if he never remembered?
You sighed, getting up going to the bathroom you washed your face. Looking in the mirror you didn't recognize the person looking back at you. There was no joy in your face anymore. Dark circles prominent under your sunken eyes that didn't seem to sparkle anymore. Your hair a mess, and you were pretty sure you had lost weight as your clothes didn't fit as they used to. You decided maybe a walk would help.
You got dressed, slipping your shoes on you headed out. You trekked across the island as the sun came up. "I probably should have packed some water." You thought to yourself as you made it to the top of a cliff. Sitting down watching the sun rise in the sky. You looked out onto the vast ocean, you were truly alone. You felt the sweat rolling down your face as you felt a little dizzy. You got up, deciding to head back, standing you saw spots in your vision.
You sank back down to your knees, closing your eyes. "I just need to make it back, I'll be fine." You breathed, opening your eyes, you saw someone standing a few yards away "who.....whose there?" You asked shakily as they walked closer. "Love, you need to go back." You heard, shaking your head, you knew that voice. "L...loki? Is that you?" You asked rubbing your eyes, but your vision was still blurry. "I need you to go back, please." He said again as you swayed back and forth. "Ok, I've lost my mind." You sighed looking down.
You looked up again, seeing you were alone. "Loki! Are you there!?" You called out, getting no response as tears welled in your eyes. You laid down in the grass, looking out to the ocean. "I love you Loki." You whispered, closing your eyes as the darkness finally overtook you.

Till THE DEAD do us part |Chapter 14
Tumblr media
A/N: This story will take place in all the seasons, but it’s not exactly a rewriting cause I’d have to re-watch everything to use the exactly lines of the characters, also I think it’s better if I tell a side story without changing the main facts of the story. This story has a Female Reader, but I don’t describe her appearance, so anyone can identify with her.
Chapter 13 Chapter 15

Main Masterlist
Chapter 14: We’ll not lose each other
Summary: The group buries Dale and decide to honor his memory. The day that they would fulfill his wishes, chaos ensues and the day ends in fire, growls, screams and gun shots.
Warning; inner swearing, little angsty, mentions of violence, mentions of death, walkers are killed, grief, forgiveness. Minors do not interact.
Paining; Daryl Dixon x Grimes!Reader (Rick’s Sister)
Word Count: 2,151
Extra notes: I proofread the text, but English is not my first language, so feel free to correct any mistakes, of course with love. In this chapter we finish Season 2, I’d like to have written more about the final part, but honestly I thought it wouldn’t have anything that would make a difference in the story. Before the 8 months jump, I’m going to make some extra stories about them on the road.
Tumblr media
The day wasn’t cloudy, but you felt just like it was. Everybody were silent, just talking when it was necessary. You did a funeral for Dale, everyone that wanted said a word about him. Rick decided to do things like Dale wanted and prove that you could be humans. When it all ended, you decided to talk to Andrea. You stopped her gave her a hug. “I’m sorry.” You said.
“For Dale or punching my face?” She asked a bitter smile on her face.
“Dale, and I have lost my temper very easily with you.” You broke the embrace, still holding her forearms. “The punches you deserved.”
“I’ve been reckless too, stubborn… trying to hurt others, just because I’m hurt.” She confessed. “I’m sorry.”
“Dale was important to everyone, but I know he had a special spot for you and Glenn. If you need anything, you can count on me, ok?” You hugged her one last time before each of you go your own ways. You were still upset at Andrea, but you realized you cared a lot for the people of the group and life was short. You’d hate if something happened to Andrea and you weren’t good.
Following this line of thought, you should also talk to Shane, but there was a whole different situation. You had already talked to him before and nothing worked, also after it he had hurt your blood brother, wanted his life for him… it, you couldn’t forgive. Not now, and you didn’t know if one day you’d be able to.
Hershel decided it’d be better if all of you moved to the house. He thought that more walkers would come because of the animals, also it was starting to get cold. You started to disassemble everything and bring what you needed to the house. As everything was kind of settled everyone started to do their chores around the house and organize all that needed to be organized.
Rick and Daryl were on the porch planning to take Randall to a town and leave him there. You wanted to go with them, but you couldn’t, they needed you around the house. Also, you knew they wouldn’t let you if you asked.
A long time had passed when Rick and Daryl decided it was time for them to take Randall to this other city and let him there. Rick asked T. to pick Randall so they could go, but T. came back worried saying that the guy wasn’t there. Holy Shit. All of you ran to the small room where he was locked, T. explained it was locked, no one forced it. It was very strange. Soon Shane came from the woods, blood and bruises on his face. Telling a story that Randall escaped the cuffs and forced him into the woods.
“It looks like not only you can’t identify vital signs, you also can’t fight against a slender boy like him. You’re not the same anymore Shane… thank God the world ended, or you’d have to retire.” You couldn’t hold your tongue inside your mouth and had to speak, because impossible nobody thought the same.
“I was taken by surprise, I wasn’t expecting.” He said and you tried really hard not to roll your eyes.
It was decided Rick, Shane, Glenn and Daryl would go in the woods to look for Randal, before they went you pulled Daryl aside. “Be careful, I don’t trust him. Everything he said, screams bullshit for me.”
“I know. I didn’t buy it too.” He said and he didn’t know what to do in the moment so he gave a little squeeze in your arm before entering the woods with Rick, Shane and Glenn.
It got dark very fast, and you couldn’t help the unease feeling while they didn’t come back. You stayed on the porch looking at distance for any sign of them. Soon Maggie joined you, nervous , fidgeting by your side.
“They’ll be ok.” You said, you didn’t know if it was for Maggie or for you. “Glenn and Daryl are badasses, Rick is a survivor, he survived when he wouldn’t. They’ll come back.” You side hugged her and she held your hand.
After some time Daryl and Glenn came back, you got inside the house with them, everyone waiting to know something.
“Are you ok?” You asked looking Daryl for any bruises, cuts, god forbidden bites and scratches. He had nothing.
“ ‘m good.” He looked at you, a little anxious to deliver the news.
“Where’s Rick?” You asked, worried.
“We thought he and Shane had come back.” Fuck. Did they separate? No.
They explained they found Randall, turned, and on top of that he wasn’t bitten. He had his neck broken. Shane. You knew it. But it didn’t answer why the boy turned if he wasn’t bitten.
You headed outside, you’d go with Daryl to find them. Worry consuming you. But when you got outside you saw something terrifying, a gigantic herd of walkers. You all started getting guns and setting plans to try ending with them, but you knew it was impossible, you’d need to fight them just so you could escape. You took one of the bigger guns and stood besides Hershel trying to protect the house and the ones that were still there.
Daryl jumped on his bike, Jimmy took the RV and together they tried to attract the herd to a place far from the house, Maggie and Glenn took a car to do the same while he shoot from the window and T. and Andrea took the truck, Andrea responsible of shooting the walkers.
The barn was on fire and you didn’t know who did this but you prayed it was Rick and not Shane, or both of them… but by all that happened you were afraid it would be only one of them. Everybody was running and fighting to get from the walkers and go to a safe place. Lori shouted for you and Hershel, but Hershel ignored. So you decided to stay there with him the maximum that you could, and try to convince him.
“Hershel, we need to go. There’s no way.” You tried reasoning with him while fighting the walkers.
“I’m not going. I’ll die protecting this land.” He stubbornly affirmed one more time.
“Don’t you think about Maggie and Beth? They need their Dad.” A walker fell in front of you as you shoot it.
“You can go.” He said one more time.
“I’m not going without you.” You said, and you didn’t want to, but it made you remind of what Dale did for Andrea.
Hershel’s ammo ends and he was going to reload his gun, there were too many walkers and you couldn’t cover him, when a Walker was too close and would bite him, Rick showed up and killed it. You pleaded Hershel to go with you, but it took Rick to convince him to go. You went to the car and you were relieved to see Carl, but… you thought Luna was with Carl. You couldn’t leave without her.
“Where’s Luna?” You asked before entering the car.
“She was with us, but she ran. I have no idea where she’s” Rick said, door open, waiting for you to go in.
“I’m not going without her.” You said turning to leave and go after her, but Rick was faster. He took you by your waist and pushed you inside the car, put the car lock and closed the door.
You tried opening the door, but it wouldn’t open. The fucker had locked it. Before you could go for the door on Carl’s side he started the car and left the farm. “No! Why Rick? Why?” You cried.
“I told you we wouldn’t lose each other, we’d not separate. I’m not letting you lose your life because of a dog.” He said, eyes on the road, hands firmly gripping the wheel. Carl hugged you and you hugged him back.
“It’s not a dog, it’s Luna. She’s my life.” You said turning your look for the window and crying all you could, trying to remain silent. Luna were with you in your worst, she was the one that made you smile again. A gift from your brothers and now, she was gone… lord knows where. You didn’t know if she was even alive. It wasn’t your fault, but you felt as if you were abandoning her.
“Maybe someone got her. We don’t know. You could stay and never find her. Let’s go to our meeting point in the highway. I’m pretty sure the others are going there too. It’s the only place all of us know.” Rick looked at you on the rearview mirror, he felt your pain, but he couldn’t go soft on you, he couldn’t have let you risk your life like that.
The rest of the drive was silent. The sun rose and you arrived at the spot where you left the sign for Sophia. She never got to find it.
All of you got off from the car. Hershel talked with Rick about he taking Carl and leaving to protect the kid. While that you followed Carl around, telling him to stay close. After some time, Rick talked about leaving, but before he could take any action, Glenn and Maggie arrived in a car, they got off and came to meet you. No Luna. The truck arrived with T., Lori and Beth. Again, no Luna. They were your last hope, It left Andrea, Carol and Daryl. You didn’t see Andrea and Carol around in the last minutes, so you didn’t know if they made it. Daryl wouldn’t bring her in a bike. Daryl, where was Daryl?
Some time after, Daryl arrived on his bike with Carol. You felt relieved to see them, especially Daryl. He stopped the bike close, Carol got off of it, Rick approached Daryl to greet him, he was happy to see he made it. Daryl got off the bike and you didn’t waste any second and hugged him. He didn’t waste any second to hug you back, damn the fear of being judged about PDA, you just survived a hoard of Walkers. He was relieved.
Nobody saw Andrea, Daryl wanted to go back for her, but Rick didn’t allowed he said it was too late to find her. The group decided to continue their way on the road. Daryl saw on your face that you had cried, but he decided not ask about it. He didn’t see Luna around, but he thought it’d be better if he didn’t ask anything in the moment. “Are ya comin’ with me?” He asked.
“Yes, of course.” You answered and as soon as the group parted from the highway you were on Daryl’s bike holding onto him and resting you head on his back. ‘And to think that last time we were leaving he made some excuse to not take me.’ You thought and also felt that there wasn’t anything more comfortable than being with him.
BONUS SCENE:
Andrea was left alone, everyone had taken the cars and she had no way out of the farm. She tried calling for Rick to wait for her, but she wasn’t heard. Her only option was to flee from the farm by herself. She took the guns bag from the ground, at least she was armed and could defend herself she moved in the woods trying to go opposite from where the walkers were going, even though she knew she would find walkers eventually, but she hoped not so many.
Deep in the forest she heard a bark and when she looked she saw a german shepherd, the dog from her mate from her group. The dog was barking at a walker, keeping distance but ready to attack. Andrea took a gun and shoot on the walkers head, making it fall motionless to the ground.
“I see you were also left behind.” She said getting closer to the dog and petting her. “I think it’s just you and me now girl.”
The dog was happy to see the face of a friend after seeing so many ugly faces of the walkers, she bumped her cold nose on the human hand to show her appreciation while swinging her tail.
“Come on, Luna. Let’s get out of here.” She said continuing her way into the woods trying to survive and who knows maybe re-encounter her group again.

The reincarnated villainess cannot escape from the demon king's obsession - By 朝凪りん 朝凪りん (6/10)
Tumblr media
This one is seriously frustrating. An author reincarnates into her own novel. Everything is different. There's a demon king, and she wasn't a fantasy writer. She wrote historic drama. She's so dumb that it makes the story less enjoyable. The yandere is good.
Elisa wrote a sweet but dramatic tale about an evil illegitimate daughter, and a pure true daughter destined to return and take the crown.
Tumblr media
She lies down and relaxes. All is well. She reincarnates before the main character, Iris, is impregnated by the prince. That's when Elisa starts doing horrible, illegal things to ruin her sister's perfect future. Elisa was never kind, but she leaves Iris be to be wooed by the prince.
Tumblr media
It's all very sweet? Elisa wrote this novel...she should know her fate better than anyone. Iris has true love. Their father favors only her. The prince pushes every bully off of her flowery path. Elisa was always a poor replacement for the real daughter too. It's clear that they intend to get rid of her. Elisa became a villainess in an attempt to survive and get power. The original author KNOWS this but she thinks hiding in her room will solve everything.......she doesn't even make any alliances.
Tumblr media
Idiot author reincarnator even cries at their wedding, like a fool. Completely oblivious to the fact that she's standing alone at the biggest social event of the season. She's of age, but she doesn't even have a date or a suitor. While Iris is literally in the royal family. It's politics 101. Elisa is CLEARLY being pushed out. One sister marrying, and one not even being considered by anyone, is kind of a big deal in a historic setting.
Tumblr media
There's a Demon King running around.
Her memory is fuzzy.
She knows she died.
She doesn't remember how though, and the Demon King isn't trying to take over. He has the country gripped in fear, because nobody knows what he wants.
Tumblr media
The obvious plot twist happens right after the wedding. Elisa has stained the honor of her family (she's an adopted daughter they no longer need) so she must marry a corrupt man. By the way its clear they've always despised her. They give her to a man that likes to beat women.
Tumblr media
She's so dumb its unbelievable. She protests for 5 seconds, but then she remembers Elisa was a big fat meanie pants.
....maybe that means she deserves to get tortured???
Huh??.?
Did you forget you're the author???
You are not Elisa, and you are not responsible for her actions. You didn’t interfere with the royal wedding at all this time, so they're clearly being cruel because you've lost the power you once had. Elisa's villainy was the only way to survive in a pit of vipers that didn’t want her around. She's kind of the victim if you think about it for two seconds, but you wanna suffer forever because you were born in her sinful body...
...
...
I can't even...
Tumblr media
Demon King Noah saves her from her constant idiocy. The truth begins to become clear. Her soul is connected to his. He dragged her into this world somehow, and he changed it to make it their ideal world. In the human world he was actually a small child, and the author was his other half. The age difference made being with her impossible so bang. New world. Is this world even real? Is Noah powerful enough to make a peaceful fantasy land exactly like her book?????
That would be incredible, but the author is dumb as a brick. A stump. Hey. Romance authors. Self insert crap ruins almost everything it touches. Please stop. Nobody wants to watch a brain dead doll get plowed. I would much rather see a terrified reincarnator run away in the middle of the night. She escapes to a border town. It shakes like a mirage. The whole world is a mirage. Noah appears and says he's been looking for her, and he made a world just for them....
But nooooooooooooooooooooooo erotica has to be dumb.
Tumblr media
I'm most likely right about the child version of him luring her to her death. That's still cool, but she's supposed to be the author of this story. Any published author with a working brain would question what's happening. They'd be creeped out. They would explore. You can keep the page count the same too. It wouldn't be hard to remove all the dumb lines and replace them with her being suspicious of the other "humans", who don't quite feel real.
Tumblr media
Wasted potential.
Squandered potential.
Boo.
I'm booing in the stands.
Don't marry a r****** just cuz your abusive not father tells you to.
Blah.
