Head Filled With Demons (Steddie X You)
Tumblr media
A/N: Ok, a few things here. First I played fast and loose with demon mythology as well as a lot of the themes from the episode of Black Mirror this is based on. There are no spoilers for that episode so don't worry. I guess you could say this is an AU Steddie as in this world they are relatively well known demons in their mythology. I pulled some stuff from the show but...you'll see. No spoilers for either show here lol
I hope this is coherent and makes sense lol I had fun with it and I still have more chapters to go :) .
Warnings: Demon Steddie X Human fem reader; SMUT and ANGST with a dash of fluff. The smut has sprinkles of Dom Steddie (spanking, scolding, dirty talk), Mentions of a sick parent and death of another parent, small scene detailing domestic abuse (may be triggering), Steddie gives the reader visions so she sees bad things people in Hawkins do including the end of the world, there is a murder (very brief; blood is mentioned), y/n and Steddie mention a lot of themes regarding feeling stuck and unhappy.

“HELLO!?”
You jump as the customer in front of you slams her items on the counter.
“I’ve been waiting here for five minutes for service! Are you going to ring me up or not?!”
“Yes, ma’am. I apologize.”
“Don’t apologize. Just do your fucking job.”, she grumbles as you begin scanning the things in front of you.
This will be the thousandth time TODAY you got caught daydreaming about being anywhere else but this stupid department store in the Hawkins mall. After graduating high school, you thought your options would be endless but once your father got sick, you knew you had to stay home to take care of him. You thought about applying to colleges nearby but everything was too expensive especially with the added medical and regular bills around the house, you needed to find employment fast.
After the mall was built, you knew there would be a plethora of available positions and found one with a good hourly wage. The problem was it was incredibly boring. Some days you felt like running out of the store and just flipping over the railing to the second floor. At least you might finally feel something. Add in customers like this one and it was a good mix of pain and annoyance to drive you through to the end of your shift.
“Are you done or what?!”
“Yes ma’am. Here’s your receipt and, please, have a great rest of your day.”, you say with the biggest fake smile you can muster.
“You need an attitude check, missy.” She spat before turning and walking out the store.
“Wow, you sure leave an impression.” Carol comes up behind you and leans against the counter, popping her gum obnoxiously. “Mr. Cline wants you to take those boxes to the basement.”
You glance where she’s pointing at the three boxes stalked against the wall that are taller than you both.
“My last break is coming up. Why can’t you do it?”
“Because he didn’t ask me to. He asked for you.”, she sneered. “Is there a problem?”
“No,”, you grinned in a thin line. “No problem.”
***
You huffed as you threw the boxes on to the ground, not even pretending to care if there was anything delicate within them. Leaning against the wall to catch your breath, you look around the illuminated but still extremely creepy basement.
Most of the stores in the mall kept a lot of their miscellaneous stock down here, segregated to different areas. Your department store usually kept overstocked clothing items like shoes and jackets until the ones upstairs were sold out or someone asked for something specific that was no longer kept on the shelf. The area was right next to the security guard’s desk but today he didn’t seem to be there.
You walked over to it, glancing at the papers strewn all over the place.
“Boo!”
“Jesus Christ, Paul!”, you exhale as you grip your chest. “Scared the crap out of me.”
“Good.”, he chuckles. “See anything interesting?” He laughs harder when you shake your head. “I’m actually glad I saw you. I found something on the floor here the other day I thought you’d think was cool.”
Paul digs into his desk drawer and produces a necklace with a gem tied to the end.
“Beautiful, huh? The stone looks kind of like a guitar pick, doesn’t it?”
“Yeah, it does. Where did you find it?”
“Like I said, it was on the floor kind of near your stores cage. I’ve never seen you guys sell anything like that and I know you’re into that gems/crystal mumbo jumbo so… I thought I’d give it to you to take a look. At most, maybe, you could ask Richard if they got some new things in.”
“Uh, yeah, ok. Thank you, Paul. I’ll see you later, yeah?”
“Of course, hon. Tell your dad I said hello!”
You couldn’t stop staring at the little stone connected to the chain as you rode the elevator back up to the main part of the mall. It did look like a guitar pick which wasn’t an abnormal design in the 80s since almost every single metalhead you passed had something like it but this one was different. Usually those necklaces were cheap, the stone on this looked expensive and old. The gorgeous red color shimmered against the light and pierced your eyes in a way that had a small moan leave your lips at its beauty. There were symbols on either side you couldn’t quiet make out.
It was so odd. As your fingers ran over the material, you got this feeling in your chest, like this thing in your hands was meant for you…
The elevator dinged, startling you back into reality as you quickly hid the item in your pocket and headed back to the store to finish your shift.
##############
“Hey, Y/N.”
“Hey, dad. What are you doing moving around? You should be in bed.”
You father walked over to give you a hug as you greeted him in the kitchen.
“I know but I just wanted to wait for you. See how your day was.”
Sighing, you reach into the fridge to grab a snack before turning towards him so he could see your playful frustrated face. “Oh, you know. The regular; angry housewives and bitchy coworkers.”
He chuckles as he takes a seat at the dining table.
“Y/N, you know you don’t have to work so hard, right?”
“I know, dad. I just want to make sure you’re taken care of.”
“Sweetheart, I’m fine. I can handle…” His cough cuts him off and you quickly run to the cabinet to hand him his medicine. “Thank you.”
“No problem.”, you smile as you lean over to hug him again. “I’m fine. Trust me. I’m going to go munch on this junk and then crash.”
As you head towards your room, you hear his shaky exhale before taking another puff of his inhaler.
***
Sitting at your desk, you examine the necklace Paul gave you further and make notes on what you see. Tomorrow, you had the day off so when you went to the library you wanted to be able to have all the information you could.
-silver chain
-Red Jasper stone
            -support for stress
            -brings tranquility and wholeness (balance)
One side has a baseball style bat with thorns… Nails?
            -Maybe meant for protection
Other side is a guitar from a long time ago.
This is definitely beautiful. I wonder where it came fr—
“Ow! Shit.”, you wince as you place your thumb in your mouth. While looking at the gem, the bottom sliced through your skin causing you to bleed on your notes and the stone. “Shit, shit, shit.”
You run to the bathroom to grab a tissue, wrapping it around your finger before wiping it along the piece of jewelry. The feeling of wind on your back caused you to hastily turn around. It felt like someone had tried to touch your hair making a shiver run down your spine.
Shaking away the jitters, you turned around, prepared to clean the blood off the paper when you noticed it was already gone and replaced with red, inked words.
“I could have sworn…”
“Hello, sweetheart.”
“Did I write that? I don’t think—” You’re not sure what made you do it. Maybe it’s because you were so exhausted or just seeing the word sweetheart triggered a warm, safe feeling in your belly. You scooted your pen below the sentence and responded with a nice, little…
“Hi.”
“How are you tonight, pretty girl?”
“Jesus Christ!” Your chair falls to the floor as you stand and back up towards your bed. Your hand covers your mouth as you watch more words appear on the paper.
“Y/N!? Are you ok?!”
“Um…yeah! Yeah, dad, I’m fine. Just… tripped.”
Slowing inching your way forward, you read the notes in front of you.
“Nice going, Ed.”
“Shit. It’s not my fault! I would be scared to if words magically appeared in front of me.”
“Oh my god. It’s finally happened. I’ve lost my mind. I’m going crazy.”
“You are NOT going crazy. I promise you, babe. What’s your name?”
“A sentient paper is asking me my name. Uh okay… I’m Y/N.”
“Aw, I like that. It’s pretty like you.”
“Y-y-you can see me? Right now?”
“Yes.”
You yelped when you felt a breeze again move past your arms.
“Wh-what’s your name?”
“Make you a deal. You give us permission to enter your realm and we’ll tell you our names.”
“Us?”
“Two sides, honey. Two sets of markings on the stone. Two…people.”
You could swear you hear chuckling in the air.
“Don’t mean to rush you, princess, but we kind of need you to make a choice. Yes or no?”
“I, uh, I don’t—”
“Come on, Y/N. Just say yes. It’s fine. Yes, yes, yes…”
Suddenly, the word “yes” begins to crowd the page repeatedly until it spills over on to your desk. Your breathing picks up as your heartrate increases. Is this really happening? Is this in my head? What’s the downside to this?
“YES!”
Everything in the room stills as the words in front of you disappear. Two words begin to slide across the paper as you lean forward to read them.
“Good girl.”
The light above you snaps off and you hear the sound of heavy breathing coming from your bed. Your eyes widen as you fall to the floor at the sight of two horned, demon looking figures sitting on your mattress. You cower in the corner covering your eyes as you begin muttering to yourself.
“This isn’t real. This isn’t real. This isn’t—”
“Oh, uh, I forgot humans don’t have people like us running around. Um, sweetheart, what form would make you more comfortable?”
When you don’t answer, they sigh as the bed squeaks when they stand. One creature shuffles beside you towards your door where your poster of Tom Cruise in Risky Business hangs. The other moves towards your picture frame on your dresser of you during your meet and greet with Motley Crue.
The sound of two sets of snapped fingers fill the room with a glowing red light and when you dare to sneak a peek from under your arm, you no longer see monster legs but a set of sneakers. A strong but soft hand touches your skin and your head shoots up as you push yourself as far back as you can.
“How’s this? Better?”
The demon in front of you had formed into an everyday man you may see come into your store every now and then. His brown hair fluffed up perfectly and you pushed down the notion to run your fingers through it. Instead of his original rough looking skin, he now donned a soft but muscular form hidden under your typical style polo and jeans. His beautiful brown eyes scanned you over with concern as he kneeled in front of you.
Your eyes flicked to the other one across the room who was now checking himself out in your full-length mirror. His attire was much more torn and rattier than the other ones. His jeans had holes in many different places and the Dio vest was fringing near the bottom. The leather jacket and boots made your tummy flutter. He looked like the kind of man you would have dated back in high school. His long, wavy hair moved quickly as he turned around to face you both, digging into his jacket pocket and producing a cigarette.
“Um, please don’t…my dad…”
He pauses as both boys exchange a look.
“Don’t worry. He can’t see me or inhale anything I smoke.” They watch as you slowly rise to your feet. “Oh shit. Manners. We made you deal. I’m Eddie. This is Steve.” He wiggles his fingers in a waving motion.
“Why is this happening now? Please. I can’t go crazy yet. My dad still needs me. I—”
“Again, not going crazy.  See, you found our thing here.”, Steve gestures towards the necklace. “You called for us so here we are.”
“No, no, no. I accidently…I didn’t mean…I…”
“Look, we don’t make the rules. We just follow them. Blood. Stone. Permission. Demons. It’s not that complicated.”
Steve rolls his eyes at his friend’s crassness.
“D-D-Demons?”
“Yeah. It’s not that big a deal really.” Eddie draws a sharp intake of breath he turns towards to you. “I mean not entirely a big deal. Um, you just have to kill a few people or else the world will end but hey! Demons.”
Your eyes turn into saucers as you stumble to the bed. “I-I-I what now?”
“Three people to be exact.”
“Eddie, stop it. You’re scaring her. Y/N, honey…”, Steve kneels in front of you and places his hands on your thighs. Jesus, his palms are huge. “You do have to kill some people I’m afraid but you will be saving so many lives.”
“Holy hell.”, Eddie sighs in frustration, snapping his fingers.
The room around you is suddenly burning as sirens wale in the distance. Running to the window, you looked outside to see all of Hawkins in flames. You sunk to your knees as you covered your ears to muffle the screams of people outside. As quickly as it appeared, the images vanished and you were back in your regular room with two demons staring down at you.
“I know. It’s not pretty, is it?”
Your world went black as your eyes closed and your head hit the floor.
##########
When you shot up the next day, you clutched your chest as you quickly looked around finding only yourself.
“It was just a dream. Oh my god.”, you exhaled as you laid back down, laughing under your breath.
After a quick change of clothes, you grabbed your notes and the necklace to head to the library. You peaked into your dad’s room to make sure he was still ok, leaving him a note on the table to tell him where you were. As you entered the library, you immediately did some quick research that led you to a mythology section of the building. You couldn’t help but chuckle at the placement. Hawkins could be so backward with a lot of things. When you started doing more digging on stones and auras when your mom got sick, this was the same section you found yourself in. This town’s definition of myth was extremely broad.
You found the book you were looking for and slide down to the carpet to lean against the wall. You flipped through, stopping when you found the symbols that matched the ones on the gem. The baseball bat did have nails and represented the demon that referred to himself as Steve.
“Steven is a known demon of protection, protecting any soul that calls for him by any means necessary. He is known as one of the more violent demons killing many beings and monsters with his signature sword. In later millennia, it is believed that he was cast out of his realm for killing one of his own kind to protect another relatively violent demon, Edward.”
“Edward is one of many demons known for music. Throughout history it was reported that Edward played for souls who were suffering. His music lulled many unsuspecting creatures towards their demise, however. It’s also been noted that not only did he use this tactic for war but for lust. He was accused of killing the King’s daughter and was hunted across the realm. Steven found him first and they both went on the run. The King banished them both, casting out Edward as well.”
“They walked from realm to realm before finding a talisman that wasn’t what it appeared to be. The gem belonged to another being who forced them into a life of servitude, trapping them within its material unless set free by a soul who summons them. Any soul that calls for them must kill three individuals or bring about the end of the soul’s world.”
“See? We weren’t lying.”
“Jesus!”, you jumped out of your skin at the sound of Eddie’s voice.
Both men were now sitting on either side of you, arms circled around their knees.
“It’s not a bad gig. I mean at least we still get to move about and watch people die. I wish we had more of a hand in it but…”, he shrugs.
You bring up the book you’re holding just enough to hide your face as you turn slightly toward him.
“You’re real?”
“Yes, we are.”
“And this…this is accurate? The world will end?”
“That is correct.”, Steve responds.
“You have the wrong person for this. I-I can’t kill people.”
“Uh, technically, we didn’t choose you. You chose us. And WE can’t kill people. You can.”
“What? I—”
“Actually, we can kill people but only if they are hurting you.”
After getting up from the floor, you place the book back before powerwalking out the door.
You let out a small squeak when they appear in front of you. “Can you stop doing that?”
“Can you stop running so we can clear the air?”
Bypassing your usual route home, you cut through a forest area so no one would see you talking out loud at what would appear to be yourself.
“Clear the air. Ok, let’s clear the air. How do I know I can trust you? How do I know what you showed me was real?”
“Besides the fact that we LITERALLY showed you the future?”
“How do I know it’s not a trick? Like…killing three people would kick start the apocalypse instead of stopping it…”
“Well, we’re trapped in this realm to so…an end of this world would be the end of us.”, Steve sighs.
“You’re trapped here?”
“Actually, it’s either here or a blank realm we fancily titled Oblivion.”, Eddie chuckles.
“Oblivion?”
“Yup. Just a whole lot of nothingness except me and Ed here.”, he grins as he pats him on the back.
“I still don’t understand exactly why you’re stuck here. Why can’t you go back home?”
“Did you read the book or not?”
You scowl at him as you cross your arms. “Did you kill the king’s daughter?”
Eddie’s eyes narrowed as his sarcastic smile fell. “No, I didn’t.”
“Then why did you run?”
“That’s none of your fucking business.”
“That book said you lured people in not just to kill them but to fuck them. Is that why? Was she like a conquest or something? Is that what I am—”
His hand suddenly wrapped around your throat as he roughly pushed you back into a tree.
“You don’t know anything, little one, so shut your fucking mouth. Do I make myself clear?”
Your eyes widen as you nod and he tosses you to the side.
Steve kneels on his heels as you cough on the ground trying to catch your breath.
“You’re not a ‘conquest’, Y/N. Trust me, we prefer doing shit like this ourselves. It just…is what it is.”
When he reaches out to take your hand, you swat it away, rising to your feet and continuing your walk back home. You hear them murmuring behind you the entire way.
***
“Hey my angel. How was your day?”, your dad grins as you step into his room.
“It was good. I went to the library so…nothing too exciting.” He laughs along with you pausing to cough and gather more air. “I’m going to make dinner now, ok?”
You smile when he nods, gradually leaving the room completely ignoring both demons who are silently waiting for you. As you turn on the faucet to wash your hands, you feel warmth by your side and the sound of snapped fingers before the room around you turns completely dark. You’re no longer in the kitchen but a bedroom from a house when you were much younger. A voice you hadn’t heard in so long echoes through the hallway and you turn to see your mother grinning as she enters.
“Sweetheart, let her sleep.”
“She is sleeping, honey.”, your dad smiles tenderly as he cradles baby you in his arms. “I just can’t believe she’s finally here; you know? She’s going to have the best life. I don’t care what I have to do.”
“Ok, tiger. Calm down.” Your mother pats his back as he carefully lays you back down in your crib. “I understand what you mean though. She deserves the world.”
As she reaches down to caress your cheek, you hear another snap and your current reality comes back into view. You turn to Eddie as a tear falls from your eye.
“I’m sorry…for…snapping at you.”, he struggles as he tries to apologize. “I thought MAYBE this could be my way of making it up to you.”
“You can see the past and the future?”
His tongue presses into the inside of his cheek as he nods.
“May I have a moment alone please?”
With that they were gone and you allowed yourself to cry as you began making your dad’s meal.
#############
After checking in on everything, you grabbed your jacket and headed out the door.
“Where are you going?” You rolled your eyes at Steve’s question. “It’s not safe to walk around at night, ya know.”
“Well thankfully I have two demons looking out for me.”, you respond sarcastically.
They follow you as you walk around the town, trying to ignore them as they continue to verbally push you.
“Hawkins is just rife with people who need to leave this plane of existence. I mean that one there…”, Steve snaps his fingers and images fill your mind. “…he steals from his grandmother to buy drugs for himself.”
“This one…”, Eddie snaps. “She bullied a girl so hard she ended up having a break down and was hospitalized for a year.”
“STOP! Stop it.”, you seethe. “It hurts.”
“It hurts you? Imagine how their victims feel!”
“You don’t think you can kill people. Fine. Why not kill people who are causing harm?”
You sprint till you end up in the woods near your house, skidding to a stop when they appear in front of you again.
“I can’t ok!?”
“Look, we understand—”
“No, you don’t! You don’t understand! I’m a good person. I—”
“Miss? Are you okay?” Abruptly turning you find a man, standing a few feet from you with worried eyes. “Do you need help?”
“N-n-no. I’m alright.”
“What about him?”, Eddie gestures. “He’s definitely not a good guy.”
“No!”, you whisper.
“No? Are you sure, miss? My home isn’t too far. I can call a doctor or something.”
Fingers snap and images cloud your brain again.
“He hurts his wife any chance he gets.”, Steve’s voice fills your ears. “Last week she came home from work two minutes too late according to him and he beat her within an inch of her life.”
Something heavy filled your palm as Eddie continued on your other side. “Didn’t even take her to the hospital. She laid there crying for hours till she was finally able to crawl off the floor onto the couch. The next day he took care of her, apologizing.”
“Why do you make me act this way, honey? You know how bad my temper can be.”
“I…I know. I’m sorry. I’ll do better.”
“I know, baby.”
Anger filled your heart as you swung your arm, trying to get him away from her. The visions left your eyes and as you looked down you saw the man now bleeding on the ground. Your hand holding the now red stained rock shook as you dropped it and ran.
***
As soon as you got back home, you headed straight to your bedroom, slamming the door behind you as you began to pace.
“Way to go, pretty girl!”, Eddie clapped from his sudden spot on your bed.
“One down, two to go.”, Steve followed.
You continued to move as they spoke, not hearing a word they said.
“Hey, hey. Come on now. You did amazing.” The metalhead looking boy reached to touch your hand but as soon as his fingers made contact with your skin, your hand flew out to smack him across the face.
“This is your fault. I didn’t want to do this! I just hurt someone.”
Eddie growled as he rose to his feet and slowly began stepping forward. “No. You didn’t hurt someone. You killed someone. Let’s get that distinction right. Congratulations, sweetheart, you’re one of us.” His chest bumped into yours knocking you back towards the wall, his hand pressing up against it near your head as he glared down at you.
“The only difference is we’ve killed way more people than you can even imagine in so many different ways. In our realm people were afraid of us. Remember that the next time you think about hitting me.” His face leans in so close that his breath hits your lips making you shiver. “I can hurt you and not even think twice.”
Your sudden giggle surprises him as he leans back to look at your face.
“No, no. I’m sorry. I don’t mean to laugh but… you can’t hurt me. He won’t let you.”, you gesture towards Steve who sighs as he folds his arms. “He said he’s supposed to protect me from ANYONE who tries to hurt me, even you.” You tilted your head to the side as you continued. “And people from your realm must not have been that frightened by you if the banished you. Hell, you didn’t even fight back! You ran!”
“I like her.”, Steve smirks as the other man’s own eyes scan you from head to toe. “She kind of reminds me of—”
Eddie raises his palm to silence his friend. “Hit me again.”
“What? You just said…”
“I know what I said. Listen to what I’m saying now. Hit. Me. Again.”
“No.”
“Oh, come on, little one. I know you want to. Just like I know you want to fuck me. Well us.”
You laugh at him again but this time it comes out more shaky than earnest. “Pfft, someone has a big ego.”
“That’s not all we have that’s big.”
Pushing him away, you start to head for the door but it’s still being blocked by Steve.
“We are yours for the next 3 weeks. Unless you kill two other people pretty quickly…which, let’s face it, probably won’t happen.” He kicks off the wood with his foot stepping forward as you slowly back away from him. “How long has it been, honey, since anyone has made YOU feel good?”
Abruptly, you run into something hard thinking it’s the adjacent wall before Eddie’s arms wrap around your stomach. You should tell him to stop, tell him to leave you alone and not touch you but you’d be lying if you said you didn’t feel comfortable in his embrace.
“You took care of your mother when she was sick and now your father. You missed out on opportunities like school and leaving this fucking dreadful town. You work at a job you hate where people degrade you and make you feel worthless. Your last relationship ended because he cheated on you with your coworker yet you still pretend to not know and let her boss you around. Every night you come home and lay in that bed…feeling empty and alone…yet you don’t complain.”
Your head hangs as you try to control the tears from escaping. Fingers snap and you lean back against the other demon’s shoulder as you see the wife of the man you killed grinning as she sits on the floor of her new home cooing at a baby beside her. A man walks in with a wide smile and descends to the woman’s level kissing her lips as she giggles against them.
“You saved her life, Y/N. If she had stayed with her current husband, he would have killed her within 2 years. He’d go to trial but be out of jail within a year due to a good lawyer and an appeal.”, Steve whispers in a soothing voice. “Now, in three years, she meets this new person who makes her feel loved and respected. He never once lays a hand on her and she finally feels safe. She has two kids with him and dies at 80 a few months after he does.”
He snaps his fingers again and your mind clears for a moment before becoming foggy for a different reason as Steve leans down to kiss your forehead. Your entire body lights up at the feeling of his lips against your skin. Is that normal for demons or is it just him?
Soft kisses trail down your jaw till they attach to your neck making you hum in approval. The hands that had been resting on your tummy glide to your jeans and carefully unbutton them before sliding his fingers through the waistband of your panties. The cold metal of his rings startle you slightly as you push your lower half against his.
“It’s ok, sweetheart. I got you.”, Eddie whispers. Your arm loops around to cling to his neck as your fingers tangle in his hair.  A tiny moan leaves your throat when his thick digits run through your folds. “You are so wet, pretty girl. Let us take care of you. Let us…” You head tilts against his shoulder again as two of his fingers plunge into your core. “…relieve some of this stress you’ve been carrying.”
Steve descended to his knees, tugging your pants and underwear with him, biting his lip at the sight of how his friend’s hand was glistening with your slick. You whined when Eddie removed his fingers only to whimper when it was replaced with the other demon’s exceptionally large tongue.
“Oh my God…”
“No, baby. Don’t say his name. Say ours.”
Your eyes roll back as his lips connect to your throat, sucking on your flesh as your fingers reach down to run through Steve’s hair. The world became hazy around you as his mouth wrapped around your clit while pressing and flicking his tongue in just the right way. Eddie carefully lifted off your shirt and removed your bra, throwing them to the side.
“You’re so beautiful, Y/N. Do you know that?”, he asked as he rest his chin on your shoulder, looking down at your body as his palms roamed purposely avoiding your tits.
“Mmm—how-how many people have you said—fuck—said that to?”
“Steven, she’s still able to form sentences. I think you might be a little rusty, my friend.”, he chuckled.
“Oh…oh God…”, you mewled as he began to lick faster, sliding his fingers into your cunt as he pumped them into you matching his pace.
Eddie grabbed your chin roughly, turning you to face him. “What did I say? You moan our fucking names.”, he snarled through gritted teeth.
“Eddie, stop.”, Steve warned, replacing his tongue with his thumb. They glared at each other but something in his stare scared even you. “Not tonight.”
“I’m…I’m…” Your knees buckled and the demon behind you quickly gripped your body to keep you from hitting the floor as you came harder than you ever had before.
“There you go. Good girl. Good fucking girl.”
As you gradually came down from your high the demon in front you stood up and lightly kissed your lips. A fire ignited in you, through your soul, and straight to your core. Your arms needily wrapped around his neck as you pulled him closer, walking with him backwards to the bed till you both fell on to it.
You squeaked when your palm ran down his chest and you realized he was suddenly naked. Steve couldn’t help but laugh at your shock.
“Remember, honey, all of this…”, he gestures at his body. “…is for you. To make you more comfortable. Not that I hate it. I’m kind of growing attached to the hair.” Your eyes closed as he started grinding his cock through your dripping folds. “This part is still me though. Do you want to feel it? Do you want to feel what a demon’s dick can do?”
Nodding, you prepared yourself as you reached around to cling to his shoulders.
“Can you open your eyes for me? I want to watch those beautiful eyes as I stretch you open.”
As soon as you do as he asks, he grins, gripping the base of his cock and guiding it into your entrance. Just the tip of him had your eyebrows furrowing together. He was much bigger than anyone you had ever had and your walls were resisting his size. When he pushed in another inch, your eyes promptly closed again and his angry grumble immediately hit your ears.
“Y/N, what did I say?”
“I’m…I’m sorry. You’re just…you’re so…”
“Look at me.”, he growled and your eyes snap open. “Fuck, you feel so good. I’ve never had a being as tight as you before.” This time he pushes in a little more forcefully making you groan. “We’re going to fucking ruin you for anyone else. Fuck me.”
Your pussy fluttered at his statement and a sinister laugh echoed from them both.
“You like that, baby girl?” Steve’s forehead falls on yours as he finally bottoms out. “You like the sound of us ruining this little pussy? Say it.”, he commands in a firm tone as you nod.
“I want…want you…to…” He nods encouragingly, his nose grazing yours. “To…ruin my—mmm—my pussy.”
His hips roughly roll into yours and your jaw goes slack at the intense pleasure that courses through body.
“Yeah? Ok, pretty girl. We can do that for you.” Steve leans up on to his knees, lifting your left leg up to chest as his palm holds your other open wide against the mattress. His eyes watch his cock as he begins thrusting into you.
Another set of hands suddenly appear and you quickly turn to see Eddie laying by your side as his fingers lightly play with your erect nipples.
“You never answered my question. DO you know how beautiful you are?” He leans to trail kisses along your neck till his lips find your breast and you moan while he flicks against the bud as he closes his mouth around it. “I actually don’t say that to many beings. Personally, I think your kind is terrible.”
Your fingers thread through his hair as his teeth graze the sensitive area causing your hips to buck up as you moaned loudly.
“You have to be quiet, sweetheart. You may be the only one that can see us but everyone can hear you.” Eddie leaned over you like you weren’t even there, picking your panties up off the floor, and shoving them into your mouth.
Smirking, he placed his fingers against his lips in a shushing motion before sliding his palm between your legs and rubbing them against your clit. Steve slammed his hips into yours and the world melted away around you. You felt like you were floating in space and the only thing keeping you grounded was their hands on your body. White light blinded your vision as you screamed which was rapidly muffled more by Eddie’s hand.
“Atta girl, baby. Let go and just feel it.”
Your climax felt like it lasted hours as Steve slowed his pace, thrusting his cock as deep as he could while you came back down to earth. Suddenly, he grunted as you felt warmth coat your insides.
“That’s it, honey. Fuck…your pussy is just begging for more of my cum. You’re clinging to my dick so fucking tight.” He hovered over your twitching frame, pulling the gag out of your mouth as he continued to slowly pump his hips, allowing your quivering hole to milk him. “Such a good girl. A good, beautiful girl. I know, baby. I know. It feels so good, you want more. It’s Eddie’s turn next. He’ll take good care of you just like I did.”
You whimper when he pulls out, sad at the empty feeling before your roughly turned onto your stomach and aggressive hands lift your ass in the air. In your state of bliss, you can’t make out the words entirely but you hear both demons exchange a few words.
“Don’t hurt her…isn’t…like us…”
“Calm…not going to…”
Pushing up on your hands, you feel Eddie press his cock to your entrance before easily pushing himself in, your mouth falling open in a silent moan. He was thicker than his friend and even with you and Steve’s most recent orgasm leaking out of you, there was still resistance within your cunt.
“Y/N, fuck, sweetheart. Steven, how—mmm—how did you control yourself from not just fucking pounding her into the mattress?” Your pussy fluttered at the thought and he groaned as he leaned his chest down against your back. “Yeah? You like the sound of that? Steve thinks—mmm—we need to be gentle with you.” As his breath warmed your ear, he thrust his hips, pushing himself as far into you as your bodies would allow.
“Naw… you’ve been careful your whole life, haven’t you? You just want to…to let go and be fucked so hard—damn—you forget how unhappy you really are.”
When your only response was your moans, he pushed off your chest and held your hips as he thrust into you. Eddie’s fingers harshly kneaded the flesh of your ass before occasionally slapping it making you mewl. Once again, it was like time and matter evaporated except for you and them. With each slap and thrust, you felt like you could see into another world; a better one.
Your hair was abruptly tugged, yanking you to your knees as his ringed hand held you tightly. As your head tilted to the side, you noticed his eyes were closed as his face scrunched in pleasure. For a second, you forgot who they were and what they were here for. He seemed like any normal man just trying to make you feel good. Your lips moved towards him, placing a gentle kiss on his cheek causing his eyes to fly open and look your way.
Eddie’s movements slowed as he scanned your face, trying to get a read on you. He wasn’t lying when he said he didn’t like humans. He struggled to find any real good within them and quite frankly they reminded him of some of the lower level demons he fought back home. You seemed different than everyone else, you reminded him of her.
He shook the images from his head, pushing your upper half back down against the mattress where you found yourself face to face with Steve. His fingers delicately pushed your hair out of your face before he softly slid them down your skin, reaching under your body and between your legs to rub your clit.
“Cum again, Y/N. You can do it.” He grabs your panties and places it in your mouth again. “There you go, honey. Go ahead and scream. It’s ok.”
His palm firmly covers your mouth as you see that light once more, blinding you as you shriek and moan into your gag as your orgasm shutters through you.
“Fuck, baby. Yes.”, Eddie grunts as he holds your hips tighter, pumping his hips faster.
“Good girl. I know. I know, sweetie. You did so well. You deserved this. Can you say that for me?”, he asks as he tosses your underwear back to the floor.
“I…I deserve…this.”, you pant.
Your body jerks forward as Eddie gives you a few more rough thrusts and you feel his seed spill into you. Like his friend, he continues small pumps to make sure he fully empties into your pussy. Whimpering, he pulls out of your now aching core and collapses beside you. He twirls his fingers and a cigarette appears between them as he quickly lights it, blowing smoke towards the ceiling.
“Y/N, are you okay?”, Steve asks as he rolls you onto your back and caresses your cheek. You mumble something he can’t hear as your heavy eye lids close. Rolling over to face Eddie, you intertwine your fingers with the free hand that’s between you as you push your back into the other demon’s chest behind you. It startles them both as they exchange a glance.
Usually, the beings that summoned them wanted to get things over with as quickly as possible. When they were sexual with them, the summoner was a willing participant but was never intimate. They were demons who were going to leave them after they completed the task anyway so what was the point?
Your lips moved again and Eddie tossed his cigarette into a void before turning to face you, placing his palm on your side.
“Can you hear what she’s saying?”, Steve asked.
The other demon nods as he heavily sighs, pulling your blankets up over your waist.
“She said ‘thank you’.”

summary: Gina has it easy being Tommy’s little sister. A spot with the cool crowd. Invites to all the parties. Everything she could ever want. But it seems to be more a burden when the new guy from California shows up and becomes best friends with her brother. At least she has Steve, or does she?
word count: 10k
Gina wore the outfit Carol picked out. She paired it with the fancy cropped leather jacket her parents had bought her for Christmas. She’d painstakingly curled her chestnut hair with her butane powered curling iron. She had to wake a whole hour earlier to do so. It was a lot of work to go through for a boy, but Gina was determined to catch Billy’s attention. She even wore foundation makeup, which hid the majority of her freckles and she spent too long doing her winged eyeliner. She had to skip breakfast but she hoped it was a worthy sacrifice.
When she gets downstairs, she’s glad she catches her parents before they leave. She bounces on her tip toes and makes big doe eyes at her mother, “Can you schedule me an appointment at the salon? I need my hair permed again.”
Her mother smiles, “Of course, sweetie. You look pretty.”
“Thanks,” Gina beams.
Tommy snorts, shoveling a spoonful of his cereal into his mouth. “She’s trying to impress my new friend,” he says around the Wheaties.
“Shut up!” Gina groans and her mother gives her a knowing look.
“That kid with the Camaro?” their dad asks, “He seems like a good kid. Very respectful.”
“You two should ask him over for dinner. I’d like to get to know him,” their mom says, double checking her briefcase.
“He’s joining the basketball team,” Tommy adds, standing from the table to dispose of his bowl in the sink.
“What’s his name again?” their dad asks.
“Billy Hargrove,” Gina says with a dreamy smile and Tommy smacks the back of her head.
“Thomas Michael Hagan! Do not hit your sister,” their mother scolds.
Tommy mocks her, swinging his backpack over his shoulder as their little sister wanders into the kitchen. Gina double checks the small girls braids. She’d done them last night before bed and wants to make sure they’re not too messy from sleep.
“Invite that nice young man over for dinner,” their mom repeats, “I’ll make shepherds pie.”
“Yeah, I will, mom,” Tommy says exasperatedly and he ushers Gina out the door, tugging her by her backpack.
She climbs into the front seat and Tommy does the same in the drivers side, he turns the key in the ignition but before he shifts any gears, he turns to his sister and she meets his intense gaze. It’s a look he hasn’t given her before and if she’s honest, it scares her a bit.
“I told you he’s off-limits,” he tells her sternly.
Gina swallows the lump in her throat, “I’m… I know. I wasn’t wearing this to impress him.”
Her voice is shaky and she hopes Tommy can’t pick up on the obvious lie. She wonders if Carol talked to him last night. While she did consider Carol to be her best friend, she wouldn’t put it past her to tell Tommy their plan.
“Don’t fuck this up. I want to be his friend,” he continues, “I don’t have a guy friend to do cool stuff with anymore. Since the shit with Steve, I just hang out with you and Carol and no offense, you guys aren’t that fun.”
“You don’t think your girlfriend is fun?” Gina scoffs, crossing her arms over her chest.
Tommy groans, shoving the gear shift in reverse before looking behind him as he pulls out of the driveway. “I didn’t mean it like that. Don’t go telling her I said that,” he retorts. “I just mean, I get bored doing whatever the hell you two wanna do.”
Gina sighs, shaking her head, “I get it. I don’t like Billy, okay?”
“It’s not a matter of if you like him, just don’t try to sleep with him,” Tommy replies, turning on the stereo to cut their conversation short.
Gina doesn’t mind, though. Sometimes her and Tommy got along so well and then other times, she couldn’t stand to be in the same room as him. When they pick Carol up and Gina moves to the backseat, it’s like the conversation never even happened at all. Carol’s ranting about her parents the whole drive to school, not even sensing the tension between the Hagan siblings. As they pull into the parking lot, Gina sees Billy leaned against the side of his Camaro, talking to Tina. It makes her heart sink a bit but she remembers quickly that Tina doesn’t listen to the same music as him. Maybe it’s silly but she thinks it gives her an upper hand.
Gina doesn’t head over to Billy and Tina right away. Due to the conversation with her brother, she hangs back and pretends to be looking for something in her backpack. While she’s doing so, Steve pulls up and parks beside Tommy’s car. He’s alone and he looks forlorn, turning his car off and sinking into the seat. He closes his eyes and tilts his head back. She’s tempted to open the passenger door and sink in beside him, try her best to comfort him. However, she’s sure he’d tell her to get lost. Her eyes follow the curve of his nose down to his lips and she gets lost in memories of how it felt to kiss them. Then Steve lifts his head and opens his eyes, meeting her gaze.
Steve lifts his hand and waves, a small smile spreading across his lips. Gina’s sure she’s blushing as she waves back and pulls her backpack over her shoulders before turning to walk towards her group of friends. Tina’s excitedly talking to Carol and Tommy’s showing Billy a sports magazine. Gina’s fingers play with the strap of her backpack as she takes her place next to Carol, replaying the small moment she’d just had with Steve over and over in her head. She thinks it means something. An acknowledgment from him was all she’d been wanting for months now.
“What are you smiling about?” Billy asks as he kicks against her shoe, their eyes meeting.
“Nothing,” Gina replies, her smile not faltering.
Her stomach is full of butterflies, turning her head to watch as Steve walks towards the building. She suddenly can’t wait for study hall, the whole plot of impressing Billy with her outfit has fallen by the wayside. Steve’s name dangles on the tip of her tongue, those feelings of infatuation flooding back from such a minuscule interaction.
“Ya want a cigarette?” Billy offers and when she turns to look at him again she doesn’t miss the way his eyes travel down her body and back up.
“Sure,” she shrugs, taking the Marlboro perched between his fingers.
Billy leans forward to light it for her and Gina can feel everyone’s eyes on them. Especially the narrow ones of her brother and Tina. She sinks her shoulders a bit, turning away from Billy and instead involves herself in the conversation the girls are having. Carols worried about some test and Tina’s relating. Gina is suddenly reminded that next year she won’t have the security of her friend group. They’re all seniors. Come this June, they’ll be free of Hawkins High and onto whatever awaits them next. Tommy and Carol have plans to attend school out of state. Gina’s not too excited to assimilate into another group. She’s scared of being lonely.
——
Steve smiles up at Gina when she walks into study hall and takes her seat. Unintentionally, her effort in getting ready this morning has clearly caught his attention. She smiles back at him before opening up her backpack and pulling out her binder, shuffling through the pages to get started on her math homework. Steve’s eyes are burning holes into the side of her face. She’s happy about it but she still feels shy so she untucks her hair from behind her ear and lets it fall against her cheek. She wonders what this means. Perhaps Steve and Nancy are broken up now.
A note is tossed on her desk, coming from Steve’s direction. When she turns to look at him, he stretches his arms up and fakes a yawn, not looking nearly as inconspicuous as he’s trying to. Gina’s cheeks hurt from the smile spreading across her lips and she’s pretty sure she hasn’t stopped blushing since she walked in the classroom. Her fingers unfold the paper to see Steve’s messy handwriting scrawling out the simple message next to a smiley face:
Hi
Gina chews on the end of her pencil as she reads it, glancing up to see Steve tapping his fingers against the top of his desk. This is more than an acknowledgment, it’s a conversation. Tingles run up her legs, her heart beating a little faster as she reads it over again. Her pencil meets the paper, jotting down her reply.
Hey
She carefully folds it back up, darting her eyes to their teacher. He’s focused on whatever he’s working on at his desk. Since the coast is clear, she slides the note back to Steve before trying to get back to her homework but the numbers don’t hold her attention for long as she eagerly awaits his reply. Out of her peripheral, she sees Steve writing on the note before folding it back up and passing it to her.
How have you been? Missed you.
Gina’s heart about jumps out of her throat, her stomach flipping as she focuses on the last two words of his reply. Possibilities of the implications race through her mind. Did Steve miss her in the way she missed him? Was this friendly or romantic? She’s got to play it safe and assume it’s friendly so as to not embarrass herself. Gina writes back:
Bored. Missed you too.
Steve’s fingers brush hers as she passes him the paper back, their eyes meeting and Gina recognizes the glint in his brown ones. Steve is flirting. It’s very safe to assume Nancy is no longer his girlfriend, at least Gina thinks so. Unless her attempt to get Billy’s attention inadvertently caught Steve’s. Which was odd, Gina didn’t show up looking like a completely different person. Steve had seen her dolled up plenty of times before. Maybe Nancy and Jonathon really had something going on.
Steve tosses the note back, lounges back in his desk a bit and glances up at the clock.
Me too. We should get together soon. Do something fun.
Suppressing the excited giggles rising up her throat proves to be a difficult task as a few of them escape. Gina blushes an even deeper shade of red, quickly covering the note with her homework as their teacher snaps his head up to look at her. She quickly purses her lips and pretends to be mulling over her math problems, scribbling circles on the margins of the page.
“I don’t need to remind you all that study hall isn’t a free period,” the teacher announces, “Keep quiet and do your work.”
Gina couldn’t do her work even if she really, really wanted to. Steve’s at the forefront of her mind now. She imagines all the things they could do for fun, each scenario leads to a familiar excitement between her legs and she actually has to cross them for a bit of relief. After a few minutes have passed, Gina uncovers the note and writes in her best cursive:
Sure, I’d like that.
She meticulously folds it back up and slides it back on Steve’s desk. He quickly scrawls out his reply and hands it back over. Gina unfolds it slowly, checking to make sure the teacher hasn’t turned his attention back to her.
I’ll let you know when, babe.
Gina bites her lip to make sure no more excited sounds bubble out of her. After she’s folded the note back up, she tosses it into her backpack and spends the next excruciating twenty minutes daydreaming about the brunette boy next to her while failing at solving the rest of the problems on her worksheet. The bell rings finally, alerting the class that it’s lunch time and Gina starts putting her things away. Steve stands before her, puts his palm on her desk and smiles down at her. He looks so handsome in his jeans and pressed polo, the collar sticking up over his Member’s Only jacket.
“I’ll see you around, Gina,” he purrs and it takes everything in the freckled girl to not melt into a puddle on the seat.
Her voice is a dreamy whisper when she replies, “See you, Steve.”
His fingertips tap against her desk before he turns and walks out of the classroom, leaving her a little breathless and unbelievably elated. Steve Harrington wants to hang out with her again. It’s almost like she’s dreaming, she considers pinching herself to confirm she’s not. Gina’s practically dancing through the halls as she makes her way to her locker. She wonders if Steve will take her on a proper date this time. Every time they hung out before were under different implications, either Tommy was around or they were having sex. She hopes this time will be different.
By the time she makes it to the parking lot, everyone’s already gathered around Billy. Tina is curled into his side but Gina is quite literally so ecstatic that she can’t find it in herself to care. She’s getting Steve back, she’s so sure of it that the crush on Billy has slipped to the back of her mind. All she can think of is how soft Steve’s hair is, all the moles that scatter across his body and the way it felt when he kissed her. Steve, Steve, Steve. She’s basically chanting his name in her head. And the worst part is she couldn’t speak his name into existence around her friends. At least, not unless it was attached to an insult.
“Hey, Gina,” Billy greets in his low drawl, smirking lopsided. Just this morning that would’ve had her knees shaking but now, it reads as friendly.
“Hi, guys,” she chirps, “What’s up?”
“Billy joined the basketball team,” Tommy announces, beaming so bright it’s a little uncomfortable. Gina wonders why he’s so excited. Then she’s reminded about Carol’s comment about Tommy wanting Billy all to himself and Gina can’t bring herself to look at her brother.
“Very rad,” she muses, craning her head to look for the stupid boy she can’t get out of her head. She’s curious as to what Steve’s doing for lunch if he isn’t dating Nancy anymore. He never had trouble making friends but she doesn’t see him hang out with anyone besides Nancy these days. Aside from the group of middle schoolers he babysits.
They used to all sit in the cafeteria until Billy came around. The blonde doesn’t each lunch, ever. All he does is chain smoke during the hour. In fact, Gina realizes she’s never seen Billy eat but she knows he has to eat quite a bit for him to have muscles like he does. The new routine isn’t one she likes to much, she’s always starving when she gets home from school. Tommy is too. They started raiding the fridge and pantry as soon as they get through the door. However, Gina is pocketing the lunch money their parents give her and that’s been a nice bonus.
“Can’t wait to see him on the court,” Tommy continues, “He’s gonna devour Harrington.”
And there it is. Gina shouldn’t be shocked, Tommy can’t go an hour without shit talking his former best friend.
“Speaking of that,” Carol butts in, “Who’s all betting on him and Wheeler being over?”
“I have five on it,” Tommy snorts.
Tina giggles, “I’ll bet ten that they’ll get back together before the week is over.”
God, Gina hopes that isn’t the case. She also has some insight they don’t. Steve’s note is burning a hole in her backpack. She desperately wants to show it to someone, but it wouldn’t be received well. In fact, it’s guaranteed that Gina would be the only one to feel positive about it. And as much as she loves these assholes, that’s what they are— assholes. No doubt they’ll twist it and make Gina second guess Steve’s advances.
“Who fucking cares?” Billy seethes around his Marlboro, “Harrington’s love life is a bore. This place must fucking suck for each and every one of you to have such a vested interest in it.”
That’s one thing Gina’s noticed and liked about Billy; his disdain for gossip. Which is funny because that’s all her friends do. She’s guilty of it herself because well, the Californian is spot on. Hawkins is so dull that there’s not much else to talk about besides the people in it. The group kind of mumbles in agreement though it’s all a show for the new guy.
“And you know what I’ve noticed? Gina’s the only person who doesn’t talk about the guy,” he continues and all eyes fall on her.
Gina’s red cheeks are back, though in utter embarrassment. Thank god Billy can’t read minds because then he’d know that Steve is all she thinks about.
Tommy cackles, “That’s because she’s had a crush on him since she was like ten.”
“Shut up,” Gina fumes, smacking her brothers arm, “I do not.”
Billy’s eyebrows are raised as he looks at the small girl amused, “No shit?”
“I don’t not have a crush on Steve,” she defends herself and it’s true. It’s not a crush, she’s full blown in love with him.
“Tommy, you’re such an asshole,” Carol scolds, hooking her arm with Gina as she guides her away from the group but making sure to shove her shoulder against her boyfriends on the way.
Once they’re out of earshot, Carol continues, “Sometimes I have no idea why I love your brother. He’s the fucking worst.”
Gina swallows back the tears and hates herself for how easily it is to make her cry. She lets Carol drag her back to the cafeteria, they grab a small lunch each and Gina is eternally grateful she has Carol. They sit down at a table and Gina heaves a huge sigh.
“I hate him so much,” she complains, cracking open her Coke before shoving a straw into it. “That was so embarrassing.”
“I’m sorry,” Carol frowns, opening her pudding and shoveling a mouthful. “Tina’s really digging her claws into Billy anyways. Let them run their course and then make your move.”
Maybe the crush on Billy isn’t entirely dissolved, she was mortified with him finding out about her infatuation with Steve. Gina shakes her head, “I don’t want Billy.”
Carol rolls her eyes, “Oh, shut up. We all want him.”
Gina opens her bag of chips carefully and raises both her eyebrows at Carol, “Why don’t you dump Tommy and go for him then?”
The older girl heaves a sigh, resting her head on her hand as she looks at Gina, “Unfortunately, I love him.”
“Do you think you’ll marry Tommy?” she asks before munching on a handful of the Lay’s.
Carol giggles then, her face reddening at the thought and Gina’s happy for them. They really do love each other. It’s pretty gross.
“Hi,” the familiar voice catches Gina off guard, her and Carol look up to see Steve standing at the edge of the table, holding tightly onto his lunch tray.
A deep blush rises up Gina’s neck to her cheeks, staring up at big, dark eyes and a hesitant smile. Steve’s alone. It must feel awful given he’s walked up to Gina and well, Carol of all people. But he doesn’t glance to the redhead, keeps his eyes firm on Gina’s light brown ones. Of course, the older girl is shooting him daggers.
“What do you want, Harrington?” she seethes, mouth turned in disgust.
“Do you wanna join us?” Gina asks, voice sweet to offset Carol’s harsh tone.
“If that’s okay,” Steve replies, a little shy and still acting as if Carol isn’t there.
Gina nods, scooting further down the bench to accommodate the lanky brunette. Steve sits next to her, their thighs touching. The freckled girl sips her coke while she look’s curiously towards Carol. She seems amused and a little confused. She kicks Gina under the table and then stands.
“I’m gonna go find Tommy. See you after school?”
Gina nods, smiling wide, “Okay, sounds good.”
Once Carol stalks off, Steve heaves a sigh, “Well Carol still hates me.”
Gina giggles and offers, “I don’t.”
It almost looks like Steve is blushing, his cheeks swollen with the smile spread across his lips and he shakes his head. “For which I’m very grateful. I was kind of… a dickhead.”
Gina doesn’t want Steve to know how heartbroken she actually was from his departure. Always trying to be the cool girl, the one with no feelings and just a desire to have a good time. Something bred within her and Tommy, the biggest need to fit in and be liked. Their parents instilled in them how important it was to not stand out, do good in school, not catch too much attention.
“Yeah,” Gina breathes out, “I get it, though. I’m not mad at you.”
Steve smiles at her, offering the other cookie from his lunch while he bites down on one. Gina takes it with a grin, biting into the sweetness and holding her hand out to catch the crumbs falling from it. Steve looks at her with this intense, contended gaze. It makes her skin crawl in the best way, she likes his eyes on her. Gina likes attention, it’s a fault at most times. That’s why she has such a hard time saying no, always eager to please.
“How’s gymnastics?” Steve asks, suddenly.
Gina flushes, remembering how Steve used to go to all her meets and cheer her on. She always tried a little harder when he was there.
“Oh, I quit,” she says after swallowing the cookie, tucking her curly hair behind her ear.
“You did?” Steve’s eyes widen, in disbelief. Gina had been doing gymnastics since she was six years old. The Harrington’s paid for it until her parents could afford to. Barbara used to take her to the meets, Steve and Tommy in tow when her parents were too busy working. Gina was unbelievably competitive, she would cry if she came in second place. Gymnastics was her life for the longest time. She worked really hard to excel at it. When she wanted to quit, her parents were pissed.
She nods, reaching for her soda again, “I joined the cheerleading team. So I’ll be cheering you on during games.”
“You’ll be the best cheerleader with all that training,” Steve replies, stars in his eyes and it takes everything in Gina to not touch him. Her fingers tense, pressed firmly on her thigh.
“I’m a flyer,” she brags, “I’m not as tiny as Chrissy, but I can land just as good.”
“Probably better,” Steve compliments, “I remember going to all your meets. You always got first.”
“And when I didn’t, I’d throw a fit,” Gina reminisces, giggling in embarrassment.
Steve nods, chuckling with it, “You worked really hard.”
“So, maybe tomorrow we can hang out after school?” Gina offers, biting her lip.
“Yeah, my parents are in New York. For the month,” he explains, looking just a bit forlorn.
Steve used to brag about how he was always home alone, but Gina always figured he got lonely and that’s why he used to invite her, Tommy and Carol over everyday. She knew how reserved Nancy was, could only imagine that Steve spent more time alone than with her. For a good few months, Gina was over at the Harrington’s every day. She’d made out with Steve on practically every piece of furniture in his house and thinking about it now, she has to squeeze her thighs together. She recalls one time they’d made love on the piano displayed in the living room. It was a bit awkward, but nevertheless got her aroused to think of. She wonders if Nancy would let Steve take her anywhere or if she only let him have sex in bed. Gina wonders if her and Nancy are similar at all. She doubts it.
“Okay. I’ll come over after school,” Gina smiles, tucking her hair behind her ear.
“Cool,” Steve nods, stealing a chip from Gina. She wants to ask Steve about Nancy but she doesn’t.
-
“Is that boy coming over?” Gina’s mom asks after Tommy and Gina walk through the door.
“Yeah,” Tommy says, “He’s gotta watch his sister until his parents get home, then he’ll be over.”
Gina completely missed that conversation and within the excitement of Steve finally acknowledging her again, she forgot Billy was supposed to come over for dinner.
“I’m gonna do my homework,” she mumbles, rushing to her room and shutting the door behind her. She drops her backpack on her bed and fishes through it for the note from Steve. Gina’s fingertips smooth over it, the butterflies in her stomach swirling around fast. It’s a little pathetic on her part, how easily she’s back wrapped around his finger. She throws herself on her bed and lets out a fit of giggles, holding the note close to her chest. She reads their conversation over and over as she begins imagine what they’ll do tomorrow. The mention of his parents being out of town gives you a slight indication, but she wonders if Steve will be different, now. Maybe Nancy sparked something in him and now he’s romantic. Gina hopes he asks her to be his girlfriend and she knows how foolish that is, because him and Nancy just broke up. But maybe Steve missed her. Maybe he couldn’t stop thinking about her.
After an hour or so of daydreaming, she lifts herself from the bed and files through her records. She pulls out Fire of Unknown Origin by Blue Öyster Cult and puts it on the record player, dropping the needle down and turning the volume up. She opens her closet up, delicately picking out her outfit tomorrow and lying it out on the chair in the corner of her room. She picks a turquoise shirt with white stripes and a white tennis skirt while imagining how she’ll style her hair and makeup. However, a particular blonde crosses her mind and she turns her eyes back to her closet. Just because she’s got the promise of Steve doesn’t mean she can’t look cute for Billy. She can’t help but wanting to catch his attention.
Settling on a pair of comfy, cheer shorts and leaving her Metallica shirt on, Gina sits at her vanity and begins touching up her makeup. It wasn’t too bad, but it did need to be freshened up. After, she reaches for a scrunchie and ties her hair up in a messy ponytail, making sure to pull a few pieces out to frame her face. The goal is to look effortless while actually putting the effort it. Gina grabs her bottle of cherry almond scented lotion and rubs it into her legs and arms. She glances at her alarm clock. It’s almost five thirty. Billy should be over soon. She grabs a copy of Cosmo and travels to read it in the living room.
An article about how to get your man’s attention is particularly enthralling. Gina takes notes mentally. Be mysterious, make lots of eye contact and laugh at their jokes. She hums, thinking about how Steve often makes her laugh. He’s very funny.
When she’s about halfway through the magazine, the doorbell rings. She remains calm, doesn’t jolt up from the couch to answer it like she desperately wants to. Besides, she can hear her mom answer the door and greet Billy.
“Billy, right?”
“That’s right. Nice to see you, Mrs. Hagan.”
“Please, call me Kathryn. Come on in.”
“Thank you, Kathryn.”
Billy walks into the living room, peeks over the couch at Gina and drawls out, “Cosmo, huh? Anything juicy?”
“Hi, Billy,” she says without looking up. Mysterious.
“Tommy’s in his bedroom,” her mom tells him before trailing back in the kitchen. “Dinner will be done soon.”
Billy reaches forward and grabs onto Gina’s ankle, jostling her playfully and then winks as he descends down the hall. Her breath catches her throat, flipping into her back as she stares up at the ceiling. Tries to ignore the tingling feeling where his fingers just were, closes her eyes and pictures Steve’s face. It works okay until she hears her brother’s obnoxious laugh, muffled by walls but loud enough to hear in the living room. She opens her eyes again and sighs, sitting up and wandering into the kitchen.
“Do you need help?” she asks her mom.
“Sure, sweetie,” Kathryn smiles warmly, “You can go ahead and set the table.
Gina nods, walking over to the cabinet and carefully grabs six plates. She carries them to the table and places them in their designated spots, realizing the usually empty seat is right across from her. She’ll be staring at Billy for the duration of their meal. Awesome. She tears off six squares of paper towels and lays them out. Next, Gina collects the silverware and places a fork next to each plate. She retrieves two wine glasses, sets them in front of her parents plates before grabbing three glasses and then Bridgette’s special plastic cup with cartoon characters decorating it. She fills Bridgette’s cup with milk and then fills the other glasses with juice.
Just then her dad walks into the kitchen, kissing her cheek and then her mothers.
“How was school today, sweetheart?” he asks.
“It was good. I’m going to stay late tomorrow to work on a project for science class,” she explains, chewing on her lower lip while she hopes it doesn’t sound like she’s lying.
“Alight, honey,” her dad smiles and turns to his wife, “Smells good. Almost ready?”
“All done,” Kathryn nods, “Gina, go grab your brother and his friend.”
Gina waits until she turns away to scrunch her face up, unsure why she’s suddenly so nervous. Once she gets close to Tommy’s bedroom, she hikes her shorts up just a smidge. Her knuckles wrap against the door, her stomach fills with butterflies as she opens it up and peeks in to see Billy and Tommy lying very still on their backs on his bed.
“What are you guys doing?” she asks, tilting her head.
Billy has his hands on his chest and Tommy’s are in fists by his sides. It looks weird. Even weirder when Tommy sits up and Gina sees his cheeks are flushed, hiding his freckles.
“Nothing,” Tommy says, “What do you want?”
Gina glances at Billy, as he remains on his back. She almost wishes she hadn’t knocked and just barged in to see what they were doing.
“Dinner’s done,” she narrows her eyes at Tommy. She’ll be sure to ask him once Billy leaves.
“Okay,” Tommy says, “We’ll be right out.”
Gina opens the door wider and leans against the frame, “You guys look suspicious. What are you hiding?”
Tommy reaches for a pillow and chucks it at her, “Get out. We’ll be out soon.”
“If you guys have grass and you’re holding out, I’m gonna be pissed,” she whispers, picking the pillow up and throws it back at him before retreating back. She heads to her sisters room, smiling at the small girl as she rearranges her stuffed animals on her bed.
“Bridgette, it’s time to eat,” Gina smiles and the little brunette hops up to her feet.
She slaps Gina’s leg as she runs passed her, “Tag, you’re it!”
Gina goes to chase her but Billy’s exiting Tommy’s room and she almost collides into him. He grabs her wrist and hip to catch her, chuckling softly as their eyes meet.
“Careful,” he says lowly, “Ya almost took me out.”
“Yeah, well…” Gina taps his chest and runs passed him, calling back, “Tag! Billy’s it!”
Billy walks into the dining room casually, eyebrows raised as he watches Gina round the table and hide behind her younger sister, the both of them giggling. He pouts at them, “No fair. I didn’t even know we were playing tag.”
“That’s what makes it fun,” Gina grins, using Bridgette as a human shield.
“What’s fun?” Tommy asks when he finally makes an appearance.
Billy pats his shoulder, “Tag— and you’re it.”
Tommy just rolls his eyes before sitting in his seat, reaching for his glass of juice and taking a big gulp. Gina notices his cheeks aren’t as flushed but his lips look swollen. Her stomach turns suddenly, wondering if her suspicion are true. Maybe Carol was right all along. She quickly pushes the thoughts aside, feeling sick at the thought of her brother kissing Billy.
“Tommy doesn’t play tag,” Bridgette complains as she sits in her chair, pushing her hair out of her face. Gina walks behind her, pulling her hair up and ties with the the hair-tie from her wrist. Then she sits in her seat, watching as Billy sits across from her.
“Thanks for dinner, Kathryn,” Billy smiles, “I appreciate it. Bless my step moms heart but she’s not the best cook.”
“Oh, well you’re welcome to join us whenever you’d like,” Kathryn smiles at the blonde.
“My mommy’s the best at cooking,” Bridgette beams, “She makes me peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for school.”
“I bet,” Billy smiles, picking up his fork. “Do you guys say grace or?”
Their dad laughs, “Nope. We’re a godless house. Go ahead and dig in.”
“If you say grace, we can,” Kathryn says, always wanting her guests to feel at home.
“Oh, we do at my house but that’s my dad’s thing,” Billy explains, his cheeks a little pink suddenly. “I just didn’t want to be rude.”
The Hagan patriarchy chuckles again, “Rude? You’ve met my kids. Hard to surprise me anymore.”
“I’m not rude!” Bridgette whines.
“So, Gina,” Kathryn changes the subject, “Who are you working on this science project with?”
Gina swallows the lump in her throat. She was hoping they wouldn’t bring it up in front of her brother and Billy. Even though she was gonna repeat the same lie to them tomorrow. She shrugs, waving her hand, “Some kids from my class. We’re just gonna work in the library.”
“You’re gonna walk home then,” Tommy mumbles with his mouth full. His mom shoots him daggers across the table.
“The car came with the responsibility of driving your sister around, Tommy. You’ll pick her up,” their dad says, reaching for his glass of wine.
“I’ll get a ride from someone, it’s fine,” Gina insists, “I don’t know when we’ll be done anyways.”
“You know your curfew,” Kathryn says.
Gina nods, finally lifting her eyes to Billy and noticing he’s staring right at her. Her skin feels warm as she wills herself not to blush. His eyes are so intense but she likes them on her.
“Oh and I have cheer practice this week, but it’s the same time as basketball practice,” Gina adds, still looking up at Billy.
“I heard you joined the team, Billy. You play before?” their dad asks.
Billy turns to look at him, “Yeah. Back home, I played basketball and baseball.”
“We actually have a chance this year,” Tommy adds, beaming from ear to ear.
“You competitive, Billy?”
“Yeah, I don’t like to lose,” Billy says with a laugh.
“Gina’s like that. She was a gymnast for ten years,” Kathryn smiles at her daughter, “Placed at least second every meet, if she didn’t win.”
“Yeah,” Tommy snorts, “And she’d throw the biggest tantrum is she didn’t get first. Water works, stomping around, the whole nine yards.”
Gina rolls her eyes, “I did not.” She did.
“You were a gymnast?” Billy asks, an amused look on his face. “Why’d you stop?”
“I wanted to join cheer. The schedules conflicted,” she shrugs, “If I don’t like it, I’ll join gymnastics again.”
“Win any trophies?” he asks, and it feels like they’re the only two people at the table. Her heart flutters as she pushes her food around her plate with her fork.
“A couple,” she shrugs again.
“She has a whole bunch in her room!” Bridgette exclaims, bouncing in her seat.
Billy laughs, turning his attention to the younger girl, “Do you play any sports?”
“I’m in tumbling,” she says proudly, “That’s how Gina started. I’m gonna get a bunch of trophies like her.”
“Very cool,” Billy smiles at her.
“Do you have any trophies?” Bridgette asks.
“Mhm,” Billy hums as he chews his food, swallowing before answering her, “I have a couple for surfing.”
“Surfing?!” Bridgette squeals, eyes wide, “Like in the ocean?!”
“Yep,” Billy tells her, “I used to live right by the ocean.”
“I didn’t know you surfed,” Gina says, surprised.
Billy nods, “Can’t do it here. But yeah, I used to go out every morning at like four to surf before school and then during summers, couldn’t keep me away from the ocean. I started when I was eight years old.”
“The ocean scares me,” Kathryn admits, “So vast. So unexplored.”
Billy frowns, “Huh. Yeah, plus sharks and stuff. But in my experience sharks are pretty laid back.”
“You’ve seen a shark?” Bridgette gapes at the older boy.
Billy grins wide, “Yeah. I used to pet them.”
“And they don’t bite you?” she looks at him alarmed, almost like she can’t believe him.
“Nope. Well, not the ones I pet. But some of them bite,” he tells her. “I saw a lot of Leopard sharks. They’re harmless. But we had Great White sharks out there and those ones are mean. I didn’t see them often, though.”
“How do you not run away when you see them?” Bridgette wonders, her eyebrows knit together.
Billy tilts his head, “If you act calm, they don’t bother you. If I tried to get away really fast, they might come after me.”
“I’m not going to touch a shark,” she says, “I don’t want to get bit. Have you been stung by a jelly fish?”
Billy smiles at her. He’s got this sweet look on his face that makes Gina a little smitten, seeing this bad boy facade kind of fall while he talks to her baby sister is the cutest thing. She thinks Billy would be a good dad and then goes down this short spiral of daydreaming about having a baby with him. Clearly Tommy can read her face because her kicks her under the table.
“I have, actually. My friend had to pee on me,” Billy tells her while scrunching up his face.
“Ew! Why?”
“I don’t know. We heard you had to do that,” Billy says, “But I think it just made it worse.”
Bridgette giggles, “And it’s gross.”
“It was gross,” he agrees.
“I’ve never been to the ocean,” Gina admits.
Her mother sighs, “One day, you will. We’re due for a vacation soon. I’m thinking Disney world.”
Bridgette gets excited, starts begging her parents to go. Their dad sighs, “See what you’ve done, Kathryn.”
Gina’s cleaning up after dinner. Her parents are enjoying glasses of wine on the back patio and Bridgette is watching a movie in the living room. Billy wanders into the kitchen, leans against the counter.
“Need help?”
Gina smiles at him, “I’m just about done. I always have dish duty.”
“Me too, usually,” Billy admits, “Kind of weird not to.”
“Enjoy it while you can,” Gina tells him as she scrubs the last pan with the sudsy sponge.
“So, you’re pretty flexible, then?”
“Excuse me?” Gina turns to him as her face erupts in red.
“Well, being a gymnast and all… you’ve got to be flexible to do that,” Billy explains, smirking at the younger girl.
Gina gapes at him, his tone and eyes seem to indicate that he’s flirting yet she can’t bring herself to believe it to be true. So she doesn’t really know how to respond to him. If Tommy hadn’t told her to back off and if Billy wasn’t so goddamn handsome, she’d flirt back easily. But she just… can’t.
“Uh, yeah, I guess so. I was kind of gunning for the Olympics but well, I don’t know if I’m that good,” she explains a little sheepishly.
Billy bites his lip, nods at her slowly before he tells her, “You’ll have to show me sometime.”
Gina smiles awkwardly at him, “I think I’ll be doing some stuff for cheer. I’m a flyer, so they’re gonna be throwing me up in the air to do flips.”
“Guess I’ll see it then,” he muses, “Can I see your trophies?”
Her stomach flips, thinking about Billy being in her room.
“Uh, sure…” she sets down the last pan to dry and nods towards her room, “They’re just on a bookshelf in my room.”
She trails down the hallway until she gets to her bedroom, slowly opening the door and scanning her eyes across the room like it’s the first time she’s seeing it. Wonders what Billy will think of it. Her carpet is a dusty rose pink and her wallpaper is floral stripes, daisies and roses. She’s got a full size bed pushed up against the wall on the right side, a white frame with pink and white floral bedding. Her nightstand is white as well, has a pretty pink and blue dolphin lamp on it next to her alarm clock and the latest romance novel she’s picked up. Next to her nightstand is her matching vanity, where all her hair products, makeup and perfumes are displayed delicately. Her walls are decorated with posters, mostly bands she likes but a couple of framed prints her mother picked out as well. Across from her bed is her dresser, her record player on top of it and next to that is her bookshelf. The first two top shelves meticulously display her trophies, the middle one stores her books and the bottom two keep her records and cassettes.
“Interesting,” Billy says, sounding amused.
“What?” Gina asks, suddenly really nervous.
Billy shrugs, “It’s very pink. I thought it would be different.”
He’s thought about her room. Gina tries not to bounce on her feet in excitement.
“What did you think it’d be like?”
“Well, you listen to metal… so more… that,” he chuckles and Gina laughs with him.
“Oh… well, here’s my trophies,” she gestures to the bookshelf.
“I thought they said you threw fits if you got second,” Billy mumbles, fingertips grazing the pieces of plastic, “All of these are first place.”
“Well, I’m not gonna display that I lost,” she explains, her cheeks hearing up, “Those are in the garage.”
“Ha,” he scoffs as he squats down to look at her records, “but you’ll display this?” He pulls out an album, flipping it to show Gina. The Go-Go’s.
“I like that album,” she frowns, bending down next to him as he slides it back in.
“Don’t tell anyone,” Billy whispers, looking up at her with a glint in his eyes, “but I like it too.”
“You really do have good taste then,” she giggles.
Just then, her door swings open and Tommy bursts through.
“What’re you doing?” he asks, eyebrows furrowed.
“Billy wanted to see my trophies,” Gina explains, standing up as Billy does.
“Well, I better get back home,” he checks his watch, “Curfew.”
“I’ll walk you out,” Tommy insists.
“I’ll see you later,” Billy says on his way out, before Tommy follows him, he turns to Gina with narrowed eyes.
Steve’s house is quiet as the two of them walk in the door. He leads her up the stairs and to his very familiar bedroom. She drops her backpack on the floor and looks up at him, expectantly. Steve smiles, walks towards his bed and sits on it.
“Make yourself at home,” he says.
Gina smiles awkwardly back at him, walking towards the bed and sitting beside him. It’s kind of strange being so close to Steve again. Gina feels eager, has to keep her fingers busy fussing with her skirt so she doesn’t push him back down on the bed and straddle him.
“So,” Steve says, but doesn’t continue. Instead he just looks from Gina’s eyes to her lips.
“So,” she parrots.
Steve cracks a grin, moves his fingers forward and tucks Gina’s hair behind her ear. The shell of her ear tingles from the touch and she drops her eyes down to his lips. He bites his lower one, let’s his fingers ghost the supple skin of Gina’s cheeks.
“You’re so beautiful,” he whispers, still smiling at her.
“Steve,” she whines, raising her hands to cover her face.
He grips her wrists as he laughs, pulling her hands down, “I mean it. I’ve really missed you.”
“I’ve missed you, too,” she admits shyly, looking back up to meet his big brown eyes.
“You don’t hate me?”
“I could never hate you,” she promises, her heart skips a beat as he links their fingers together.
“Yeah?” Steve whispers, scooting closer to her. Gina nods at him.
Then Steve leans in, ghosting his lips over Gina’s. He seems like he’s hesitant, like he thinks she’ll push him away. So she lets go of his hands and grips onto his shirt, pulls him close so their lips finally collide. Steve’s hands shoot up to hold Gina’s face, he makes the softest little moan against her plush lips and she can’t help but squirm at it. His tongue grazes her lower lip, Gina parts her lips instantly to allow him entrance. Her thighs tingle as their tongues meet. Kissing Steve was always her favorite. She found no other boy could kiss like him. The way it made her head swim was addictive.
He lays her back on the bed, situating himself between her thighs as he deepens the kiss. It’s urgent, desperate. Gina clings on to his polo like she’s scared he’s gonna float away. His nose bumps against hers, causing them both to smile into the open mouthed kiss. He lowers his hand down and starts feeling Gina up through her bra and shirt, squeezing softly. She hooks her leg over his waist, pulling him even closer.
Usually, Gina would be content to lay here for hours just kissing Steve but it’s been so long since she’s had him and she’s pretty eager for more. She pulls his shirt over his head, breaking the kiss for just a second and then smoothing her hands over his chest. While they continue kissing, Steve kicks off his Nike’s and they land to his floor with a dull thud. Gina takes that as her cue and does the same, but hooking her leg back over him when she finishes. Steve pushes her shirt up, exposing her bra to him and he lowers his head to place delicate kisses over the curve of her breast. Gina gasps out, hooking her fingers in his soft hair. Steve sucks a pretty sizable bruise into her cleavage before pulling her bra cup down enough to get his lips around her hardened nipple. Gina’s particularly sensitive there and her back involuntarily arches at the feeling.
“A-ah, Steve!” she moans out, eyes fluttering shut.
He swirls his tongue around it before sucking it back between his lips. She pulls on his hair, rolling her hips up against him. He grinds back, giving the tiniest bit of friction with his jeans. Gina gasps out as Steve flicks his tongue against her nipple before he’s pulling away. He pulls her shirt over her head and she sits up a bit so he can unclasp her bra and pull it down her arms. He cups her breasts in his hands, pushing them together and then jiggling them as he gazes down with hungry eyes. Gina giggles, her cheeks flushed while he plays with her tits. He used to compliment them a lot, tell her they were the biggest he’d seen.
“Can I fuck your tits?” he asks, his eyes going dark as he glances back up at her.
Gina nods frantically. She’d let Steve do anything he wanted, “Please.”
He grins, pulling away to shove his pants and briefs down his legs. He straddles her middle, hand wrapped firmly around his long cock. He strokes himself a few times, squeezing his tip and then pressing his slit to her perked nipple. The coolness of his precum smearing against her sensitive bud makes Gina squirm.
“Fuck, that’s hot,” she mumbles, watching the action with her eyebrows knit together.
“Mhm,” he grins, rubbing the head of his cock against her nipple a couple of times.
Then he spits in his hand, spreads the saliva over his cock and lays it between Gina’s breasts. She props herself up on her elbows, watching as Steve pushes her tits together. He rolls his hips slowly, the head of his cock appearing from the top of her cleavage. Gina giggles before sticking out her tongue, his tip meeting it with each thrust. Steve groans lowly, his hips snapping a bit harder each time.
“Jesus, Gina,” he whines, “You’re so hot.”
Eventually, Steve gets fed up and scoots up. He rubs the head of his cock against Gina’s lips so she sticks her tongue out again. He slaps the tip against her tongue and she wraps her lips around it, looking up at him with wide eyes.
“Such a good girl,” he coos in a dreamy voice, pushing her hair back while he slowly thrusts into her mouth.
Gina hums around him, relaxing her throat to take his length. He’s always gentle though, doesn’t shove it too far down. Steve likes her to focus on his tip, while he squeezes the base.
“Gina,” he whines, his lips bitten pink and shiny with the way he keeps licking them.
She loves the view, staring up at him with adoration. She thinks Steve might be the prettiest boy she’s seen. Gina absolutely loves his floppy hair, his big brown eyes and the slight hook of his nose. The moles too. The two on his cheek and the two on his neck.
He pulls back, gasping as he does so. Gina licks her lips, looking up at him all doe-eyed and Steve curses, squeezing his dick.
“Gina— Christ,” he pants.
“Need you,” she begs, rolling her hips up.
Steve lowers himself to the ground, forcing Gina to sit up right to watch him. He pulls her leg warmers and socks off, grazes his fingers against her calves before pulling her closer to the edge of the bed. He reaches up, pulling her underwear down her legs. She goes to pull her skirt down but his hand stops her.
“Keep it on,” he insists, bunching it up above her waist before pressing kisses to her freckled thighs.
Her breath catches in her throat, watching him closely as he spreads her legs further apart. Steve lips dip down, pressing a kiss against her soaking cunt. She hisses when he slides his tongue up her slit. Steve’s the only one who’s ate her out. And he’s still the only person who has made her cum. He’s done it with his mouth a number of times, but his dick has been the only one big enough to reach her g-spot. So she was kind of spoiled with him being her first sexual partner. Everyone after had been incredibly disappointing, the only thing she gained from them was a quick confidence boost.
“Oh, Stevie,” she hums, knotting her fingers in his hair while he licks through her folds. “Feels so good.”
She can feel him hum against her, vibrating in the best way that has her back arching at the sensation. The feeling almost has her eyes close but she needs to watch him. He looks up at her while he does it, mouth pressed flush against her pussy and the sight is absolutely delicious. She wants to tell him how pretty he is but she thinks men don’t like being called that.
He swirls his tongue around her clit, raising his eyebrows as he does so. She whimpers for him, pushing his hair off his forehead. Her shoulders tense up, mouth hanging open while soft moans tumble out. It’s like time stops with Steve’s mouth on her. All the bad blood and history falling away. It’s like he never ditched her for Nancy in the first place. It’s like Steve loves her.
“Steve,” she preens, her thighs tightening around his head as she feels her orgasm creeping up on her. “Need you. Need you now.”
He pulls back, Gina scoots up the bed and spreads her legs for him. Steve positions himself between her thighs, kissing her deeply as he does so. God. She’s still in love with him. Gina loves him.
She clings onto him tightly, gasping into his mouth as he sheathes himself inside her. She can’t believe it’s finally happening. It’s been so long, months and months of waiting. He gets his cock about half the way inside her before he stills, the two of them panting into the kiss. Steve does that a lot, stops for seconds at a time. Gina thinks it’s because he’s trying not to cum and for some reason, that’s really sweet. All the boys after Steve didn’t care about her pleasure. She felt used afterwards. And even if Steve drives her home right after this, she’ll still be madly in love with him.
“Steve,” she moans against his mouth, wrapping her legs around his waist as she pulls him the rest of the way inside.
He makes a strangled noise, moving to shove his face against her neck. It’s a stretch she’s missed dearly. A stretch her fingers or the handle of her hairbrush couldn’t replicate. Not to mention, the breath on her neck. The weight of him on top of her. She’s not sure she can go any time without this again.
Gina has to roll her hips up because Steve’s still not moving, panting into her neck and grabbing onto her elbows.
“Slow down, baby,” he grits out, “You feel so good.”
The pet name makes her walls flutter, clenching tightly onto him. He chokes out a laugh, pulling his head back as he grabs onto her jaw. Steve turns her face and plants a big, fat kiss on her cheek. It makes Gina giggle, wrapping her arms around his shoulder and squeezing him. All the desperation inside her subsides and is taken over by a warm, heavy feeling of love for Steve. She realizes she wants to take this slow, wants to savor the moment. She pushes his hair back, gazing into his eyes. He smiles down at her, she returns it.
“Missed you,” she mumbles softly, “Missed this.”
“Me too,” he admits, cupping her chin and stroking his thumb against her lips.
“You’re pretty,” she finally says.
Steve scrunches his face up before he laughs softly, “You are.”
He rolls his hips against her slowly, his tip brushing against the sensitive, spongy part deep inside her. Gina gapes, eyebrows furrowing while she whines out softly. Steve builds a languid rhythm, petting Gina’s hair with every slow thrust. They keep the eye contact, lips parted as soft moans slip out. Even Steve’s voice is pretty, almost melodic. She thinks he’s a good singer, used to tell him all the time, though that seems inappropriate now. Gina recalls a time when they got into his parents records. Steve had put on a Three Dog Night album and sang to her, trying to be silly with a cigarette between his fingers. As funny as Steve was being, he sounded good.
Suddenly, he jerks his hips abruptly against hers. Hammering against her g-spot in a mind numbing fashion. Every damn thought in her head dissolves and that neediness takes over again. Gina writhes against him, scratching down his back while squeezing her eyes shut. He builds up a quick pace, makes Gina’s eyes roll back as he cries out. Steve drags his hand down her stomach, presses the pad of his thumb against her clit. The sensation makes Gina jump, grabbing onto Steve’s shoulders when he rubs firm circles against it.
“Stevie,” she cries, moving her fingers into his hair again.
Steve pistons his hips quicker, little grunts and pants falling beautifully from his lips as he brings Gina to completion. The orgasm is almost violent, makes her yell out as it seizes through her body. Steve makes the prettiest sound, a cross between a whine and moan. Once she’s recovered enough, she presses her palms against Steve’s cheeks, looking into his eyes while he pumps his hips into her.
“Oh, Steve,” she moans, feeling the tears collecting at the corners of her eyes, “Cum for me, baby.”
Steve grunts, his face contorting in pleasure, “Where?”
Gina sticks her tongue out, meeting his intense gaze.
“Fuck,” he whines, pulling up and quickly shuffling up to straddle her chest.
Gina wraps her lips around his tip, sinks down as much as she can and hollows out her cheeks. She looks up at him with glassy, wide eyes. The brunette whines repeatedly, emptying in her mouth with his fists gripping her hair.
“Gina!” he grits out, “Fuck, fuck…”
She continues sucking, milking every bit of cum out of him. Steve collapses down beside her, breathing heavily while Gina swallows his spunk down. She giggles, turning to cuddle up against her. He pants, holding her loosely as he comes down from his high.
“God damn,” he exhales after a minute, turning to the freckled girl.
“Mmm,” she hums, leaning close to peck his lips. After a beat she bites her lip, “I need a cigarette, I think.”
“Fuck, me too,” Steve chuckles, sitting up slowly. He stands, reaching for Gina’s hands and pulling her up with him. They silently dress and then Gina grabs her pack of cigarettes and follows Steve out to the backyard. They sit in lounge chairs and light a smoke each. Gina closes her eyes as she inhales, feels like her body is vibrating.
“So… how mad is Tommy?”
“At you?” Gina replies, turning to look at Steve, “I think… I think he just feels like you chose Nancy.”
He seems to visibly deflate at the girls name, which doesn’t make Gina feel all that great. But she’s just telling the truth. It was like ten years of friendship down the drain because some girl didn’t like Tommy. Carol told Gina that Steve said they were all assholes, but Steve was too and used to be worse than Tommy.
“Yeah, I kind of did,” he says after a beat. Gina doesn’t mention how he chose Nancy over her, too. Because her and Steve never solidified their relationship. They had to hide they were sleeping together and Gina was always too nervous to ask him what they were.
“He’s pretty mad,” she offers slowly, “But I think more than anything, he’s hurt. Don’t worry though, he’s found someone else to follow around.”
“Oh, yeah… Billy. God, that guy is such a dick. Like royally.”
Gina bites her lip, takes a deep inhale from the cigarette and feels the heavy smoke fill her lungs. She turns to Steve, “He’s nice to me.”
Steve scoffs then, “Gee, wonder why.”
“I don’t know,” Gina replies, “I haven’t really seen him be mean to anyone.”
“Oh, come on,” Steve raises his eyebrows, “You’re a pretty girl. Why else would he be nice to you?”
Gina sits up at that, tosses her cigarette to the ground before standing up, “I’m gonna go home.”
“Wait— Gina, I didn’t mean it like that,” Steve stands, following her into the house.
She ignores him, trudging back up the stairs to Steve’s room to retrieve her school bag. He doesn’t let up, footsteps right behind her. When Gina turns to exit the room, he grabs her wrists.
“I know guys like that,” he mumbles, “I used to be one. I’m sure he’s gonna try to get you in bed and I think you’re better than that.”
“I’m a big girl, Steve,” she narrows her eyes at him, “I only sleep with people I like.”
He sighs, pushes his fingers through his hair and nods. “I know… I really just don’t like that guy. I don’t really like that you’re hanging around him.”
Gina scoffs, exaggeratedly looks around his room, “Well I don’t see him here. I came here to spend time with a guy I like.”
“You like me?” Steve asks, his cheeks reddening slightly while his lips curl up.
Gina’s jaw drops, “Is that news to you?”
“Kinda,” Steve replies, chuckling softly.
He places his hands on her hips, leaning down to catch her lips in a soft kiss. As mad as she was two minutes ago, the second he touches her it all melts away. Her arms wrap around his shoulders, standing up on her tip toes to meet his mouth. Steve deepens it and Gina gives in, kisses him for a while before she’s pulling away.
“I really should get home, though,” she whispers.
Steve pouts, wrapping his arms around Gina and squeezing her, “You can’t stay for longer?”
Gina sighs, resting her head on his chest, “Yeah, I gotta get my homework done at some point.”
“I’ll drive ya,” Steve kisses the top of her head.
The ride home is like old times. Steve’s cracking jokes and turning Gina into a puddle of giggles. However the air in the car turns awkward instantly when they’re up the street from Gina’s house and Billy’s pretty Camaro is parked out front. Steve pulls over a block away, nods down the street and asks, “He come over a lot?”
Gina shrugs, “Sometimes.”
Billy’s only been in town a week and he’s been over three times, maybe that is a lot but Gina’s not sure. Steve sighs and puts his BMW in park, he turns to her.
“I’ll see you on Monday. Maybe you can come over again,” he tells her, looking a little deflated.
“I’d like that,” Gina smiles, leans over the center console and gives Steve a quick kiss. “Bye.”
She grabs her backpack and opens the door, walking the short block to her house. She turns to see Steve make a u-turn and head back towards Loch Nora. Inside, her house is quiet. She can see Tommy, Billy and Carol sitting out on the back patio. Her parents must be at Bridgette’s tumbling class. Gina sets her backpack in her room and wanders out back to meet the other teens. Tommy and Carol are messing around in the grass, so Gina walks up next to Billy. He reaches in the cooler and hands her a beer.
“Who is he?” he asks, taking a swig from his own can.
“What do you mean?” she asks, knitting her eyebrows together.
“I can always tell when a woman’s just had an orgasm,” Billy quips, smirking at the small freckled girl.
Gina’s cheeks heat up and she can feel her eyes water in embarrassment, so she quickly opens the can of Miller Light and takes a long drink of it. She swallows hard, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Sure ya do,” he chuckles, turning to her. “You’ve got all the markers. Messy hair, swollen lips, glassy eyes, you’re walking kinda funny. Plus you seem happier than usual. So who is he?”
Gina’s been caught. She didn’t know it could look so obvious. She smiles softly, thinking about the sex with Steve, “I’m not telling you.”
Billy frowns, “That embarrassing?”
Gina gapes, quite the opposite. She’d love to scream from the rooftop that she was just in bed with Steve Harrington. But Tommy might actually murder her.
“No,” she huffs, “No one would believe it anyways.”
Billy raises an eyebrow, looks her up and down before he laughs, “The King?”
“No!” she denies, her eyes widening, “Absolutely not.”
“That’s fucking funny. Tommy would kill you, huh?” Billy retorts, chewing on his bottom lip.
“It’s not Steve,” she presses, bringing her drink back up to her lips.
Billy sucks his teeth before reaching for his pack of Marlboros, “Don’t worry. Secrets safe with me, darlin’.”

"there's no evidence that tommy and carol bullied anyone" so publicly humiliating nancy by spray painting nancy the slut wheeler on the hawk sign was just what. because steve implied that was their idea and they did it. you don't just go from never bullying anyone to doing some real diabolical shit like that so. sure steve never bullied anyone but you're reaching trying to extend that to tommy especially. don't forget how easily he got chummy with the racist the following season and joined in gleefully bullying steve
I'm not excusing the graffiti, but I don't think spray painting the slut graffiti as revenge because they (wrongly) thought Nancy cheated on Steve makes it bullying lmao. Bullying is repeated and targeted. One instance is not bullying. I also think "diabolical" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. Like what they did was cruel, but diabolical? Graffiti and spreading rumors is like the most typical "get revenge on your/your friend's shitty ex" thing you could do, they just did it in public instead of like the school bathroom. Public shaming for cheating is SUCH a common trope, like do you know how often I see that "WELCOME HOME CHEATER" meme? I'm not saying that makes it right, because it doesn't! But it also doesn't make them evil?
Like I never said that Tommy and Carol are nice lol. They're asshole teenagers! That's canon! Steve calls them out on that and breaks ties with them because of it! But being a dick teenager does not make you a bully, all teenagers are dicks lol.
I also think interpreting Tommy's scenes with Billy as that is in bad faith personally. Homeboy is in like two scenes with Billy - one where Tommy is clearly trying to make Steve jealous, and the other where he is making fun of Steve for his gf once again supposedly cheating on him. The gf that Steve dumped his friends for, after she supposedly cheated on him the first time.
And yeah Billy is racist but y'all are acting like? Everyone in the show should automatically know that? How? The racist shit Billy says on screen is mainly to Max, and later in the show where he actually attacks Lucas. There's a good chance that Steve didn't even realize that Billy's attack on the kids was racially motivated until after the fact.
Considering that Billy literally doesn't interact with anyone but his coworkers and Karen in s3, and the fact that Tommy does not actually seem to like violence that much or at least seems to have a limit! Considering how he reacted to the fight in s1 (going from "hell yeah a fight to oh fuck shit is serious"), I don't think Tommy stayed friends with Billy after season 2 lmao. Like idk I did not get the impression that Billy had any friends in s3.
You're accusing me of reaching but saying stuff like "no one goes from never bullying anyone to something that diabolical" isn't? My whole point has always been that he may be a dick, but there's nothing to show him being anything other than a stereotypical class clown type douchebag lol. The Party's fucking bullies threatened them at knife point. Billy bashes a plate over Steve's head and tries to run the kids off the fucking road with his car. The Angela storyline was so extreme that it was unrealistic and is almost an universally hated part of the season. Tommy makes some mean comments, gives Barb a wet willy, and then rubs it in his ex best friend's face that someone has taken his place and that his gf is cheating on him. Like, the graffiti was bad and Nancy should've probably slapped all three of them not just Steve, but it was a petty and misguided revenge scheme, not bullying.
I think if Tommy was intended to be an actual bully the way fandom pretends he is, we would've seen more of it on screen. If Tommy and Carol were so cruel to the whole school, Robin and Eddie would've said something about it? But they don't! The Duffers are SO blatant about how they go about things, I think if they were truly meant to be bullies, they would've been way more obvious about it lmao.
Like, think what you want! If you wanna headcanon them as being an actual bullies, that's your prerogative. But it's not actually canon.

NSFW Headcanons for Renfield 2023 Characters
Robert Montague Renfield
I saw someone else headcanon that he has a mostly Phantom of the Opera sex playlist and God, that's so true. You're absolutely right.
more submissive type stuff:
Likes:
His hair played with
Light choking
Hand feeding
(Off) Limits:
Being told in detail what his partner is about to do to him
Pain (receiving)
Blood (weird memories yo)
Drugs
Insults
more dominant type stuff:
Usually being in restraints but it depends. Occasionally he's into it.
Biting
Picking his partner up/holding them in place
Calling his partner bug or bugbug (yeah don't think about that one too much, dude)
Rebecca Quincy
Honestly he's not particular he just enjoys being in control
Cowgirl (lol. Because of the book. Do you get it? Do you get it??)
Competence kink!!!!
Wrestling and grappling with one another
Compliments: Giving compliments and Getting compliments
Will make lots of awkward jokes to relieve the tension/anxiety
Once accidentally killed the mood by making herself laugh so hard (at a funny voice impression she did) that her wine came up through her nose.
Tedward "Teddy" Lobo
Will do a line or three (or a centipede) off of like, any body part.
Look, let's be honest we all know he has a barely-repressed Mommy kink that will surface the second he loses composure, ok?
Claims to be a dom. Is absolutely not that. 100% submissive brat.
Will attempt dirty talk but will frequently stumble over his words (when he doesn't plan them out extensively ahead of time) and then backtrack trying to correct himself.
Likes to record it so he can "prove he fucks" (??? Babe, what)
"Teasingly/knowingly" asks "do you like that?" But is absolutely not actually bragging and is genuinely unironically seeking reassurance
Carol
The type of guy who thinks the stripper/prostitute/cam worker actually likes him lmao.
He'd do pretty much anything to be called a "good boy" but he has to get over himself or just be unbearably horny to admit that instead of claiming to hate it/viewing it as an "accusation"
He has had so much unfulfilling/uncomfortable sex because he tells himself that the mild panic he feels when taking control is "exhilaration". (Exhilaration is supposed to be fun, dude)
Body painting on her partner
Tantric sex
Likes to make jokes/laugh to deflect from the vulnerability
Idk man she's really hard to get a read on honestly.
Bellafrancesca Lobo
Her partners have a habit of turning up in little pieces throughout the city dumpsters once she's done with them so like...approach with caution
Attracted to power
Mark :)
Like she's dominant but she's only attracted to other doms and then they compete to see who can keep up with eachother
Pretty vanilla tbh
Has a surprising amount of hangups
Likes sexy dancing as foreplay
Gentle
Caitlyn Bergman
Running hands over each other's faces
Generally considerate
Wants a fairytale romance (or maybe a bodice-ripper fantasy)
Attracted to witty remarks/sarcasm
Honestly still figuring out what she likes after Mitch.
Likes dressing up in sexy lingerie
Kate Quincy
Ace so nope
"Wait, people actually experience sexual attraction? That wasn't a joke?"
Bob
Surprisingly gentle and tender
Like for such a tense/angry guy he basically just wants very gentle sweet intimacy
Says a lot of reassurances
Checks in a lot to make sure his partner is ok
He's very masculine and "tough" and people tend to expect him to be the one doing all the pursuing/masculine role stuff, so little sweet romantic gestures like getting him flowers or complimenting him etc go a LONG way. Just genuinely calling him pretty without irony or sarcasm makes him blush like crazy and his heart races.
Kevin
Really likes it when his partner wears perfume. Especially something floral.
Long makeout sessions
Trevanté
Takes a long time for him to trust someone enough for anything
A bit of a showoff
Will put his hand over his partner's and guide them
Very direct communication. Will say plainly what he wants/likes and ask questions upfront.

She’s Always a Woman to Me.
A few days ago I started thinking about what the series would have been like if Billy had been cast as a girl, and Fem!Billy is so fun to think about. She was kicking around in my brain so I wrote a little something. No plans for a full fic or anything, but I’m looking forward to writing some more moments as the inspiration comes. Title comes from one of my fave Billy Joel songs, tagging these bits ‘always a woman’ for easy find.
Halloween 1984,  a big house decorated in paper pumpkins and black streamers that belongs to some girl who’d chewed her gum like a cow and looked at Billie with appraisal in her eyes when she’d handed her a brightly colored flyer.
They meet at a party but Billie hears about Steve Harrington from almost the first minute she steps foot in Hawkins High. Billie doesn’t want to be in this hick town, living out Neil Hargrove's American dream 2.0, with Susan and the little twerp; but if she has to be, someone will rue the day and she doesn’t particularly care who it is.
She blazes into the parking lot, her baby purring beneath her hands, music on blast, hell on wheels, and they all look her way because they must. It’s what she expects, but still the sun reflecting off of so many bright eyes she won’t meet gives her a moment of pause. She reaches for nicotine comfort with practiced boredom while she ignores Max bitching about having to use those stick legs, and considers the muscled thighs spilling out of the torn denim skirt she chose that morning. Billie hopes they have a good volleyball team here. She’s gonna be fucking pissed if she has to wave pom poms from the sidelines.
Her lungs full of bitter courage Billie opens the door of the car someone else’s daddy would have bought for them, and climbs out heels first, legs following. They’re deceptively long, but after a full chest and a nice ass they’re her best feature. She should know. Neil is always commenting on her body. First to comment on her weight and compare her to all the other little girls whose daddies showed them off like trophies; and then, once she got into sports and started filling out, to comment on how much she was starting to look like her mother.
Billie’s a whore and a bitch who isn’t going to put up with his shit much longer, like mother like daughter. The heels, the skirt, the black eyeliner and the vamp lips, that’s for Neil so that he can’t forget it. So that he’ll see failure past, present, and future every time he looks at her. The silver glittering in her ears  and the strut in her walk as she cuts a path through these midwestern yokels is all for her. Because she might be a bitch, but she’s queen bitch. She’s wanted. When she doesn’t believe it all she has to do is look around.
It doesn’t take her long to figure out the hierarchy at Hawkins High. The popular girls flock to the new blood on campus like vultures, hovering above to gauge how soon Billie will be ready for consumption. A red headed harpy named Carol takes the lead, asks all the faux polite questions with a sneer in her eyes and a mocking smile as she leans up against the locker beside Billie’s, trying to hide the jealous glances she can’t help but keep flicking over Billie’s wardrobe. Hipper and more daring than she’ll achieve in her wildest dreams.
Billie lets her eat her heart out, impresses her easily with how uninterested she is in impressing someone like her, and answers the unsubtle question, “So you got a boyfriend back in Cali or what?” with a chuckle and a sneer of her own.
“No one a decent fuck couldn’t replace. But from where I’m standing I might be out of luck. Have any of these guys even touched a girl who wasn’t on a skin rag?”
Carol’s cronies look to her with wide eyes, unsure whether they’re allowed to laugh or not, but when she does they join her with wicked delight flashing in their eyes. It’s then that they close ranks around Billie, leaning in with shark like smiles and divulging in hushed tones the secret knowledge of the card carrying members of Harrington’s Hits. King Steve - the one all the guys want to be and all the girls want to date – used to know how to have a good time, they reveal.
The whole torrid and sad history of the missing king of Hawkins High unfolds before the bell for first period even rings. It’s not rocket science why he’s the big fish in this very small pond: big house, no parents, cool car, talented tongue and a big dick.
Billie quickly figures out that Steve Harrington is the reason Carol is the defacto queen bee. Leader for lack of other options. Because Steve is the top dog, the undisputed king of the school, and in any sane world he’d be dating the baddest bitch, his equal in all ways - the one all the other girls want to be and the guys want to have. But instead he’s with Nancy Wheeler, whose name comes out of Carol’s mouth in flavors synonymous with the phrase ‘there’s a hairy mole on my tit.’
Nancy Wheeler. The good girl. The brain. The one who is too smart for fast boys, their cars, and the girls they ride with; who will go on to some big school and get a high paying job that will make them all proud to say they knew her when. Forbidden fruit for bad boys everywhere and tempting for it, but no real competition for a girl like Billie.
Girls like Nancy are chicken shit to the core. They like to flirt with the things that Billie wears in her skin, the darkness that clings to her life and paints her in heavy blues and furious red. They don’t know how to handle boys who kiss with their teeth as often as their lips. Boys who collect names on a list and eat the world before it eats them and never hear no. Boys who push, always, just a little bit more. It’s fucking trite but they like to think they can. You know, be the beauty to someone’s beast. But they all run scared in the end or get eaten.
Billie’s got no problem with beasts. She is one.
So when Tasha -Trisha-Tanya - or whoever - invites Billie to her costume party (which lame, what are they seven?) she dresses to destroy in black leather pants, a black crop with a plunging neck that rides the border of decency, and a jacket and boots; because the terminator is hot shit.
Her purpose there that night (to eat the heart of the king and crown herself queen) buzzes in the back of her mind with such sharpness only drink can soothe her. Somehow she ends up on a keg stand, some creep copping a feel while he holds up her legs, but even the creep is too busy to think about anything else as she smashes Harrington’s record.
They’re all losing their shit after that, dragging her through the crowd to find Harrington, eager to see the absent kings face when he learns his record was just beaten by a girl, and Billie is resigned to what has to be and just hoping he’s a decent fuck and his dick is as big as Carol claimed. Because if Carol’s dog faced freckle plagued boyfriend Tommy is her best point of reference, oof.
Tommy tugs her forward and the crowd parts, and that’s how they meet. Steve, handsome and tall, and then painfully pretty as he whips off ray bans to glare at Tommy and scrutinize Billie with soft brown eyes. He’s the kind of imperfect beautiful that is overlooked in the middle of nowhere Indiana. Better appreciated on glossy pages, like an artwork. He’s so big, she thinks (a little too high from the booze and buzz) as their eyes connect, a fission of heat sinking down into her belly. And she’s not just talking about the impressive bulge those pants can’t hide.
It’s in the eyes. She sees the hunger in them as Tommy crows about how a little girl beat his record. It’s in how they burn as Billie spreads red lips into a wide grin and challenges him with a stare that says ‘and what are you going to do about it big boy?’. For a split moment it’s so clear that Steve wants to retaliate (be the winning man instead of the bigger one) and Billie can’t help but imagine what that might look like. What vicious words would he aim at Tommy, his once best friend, and just how oh how would those curling hands try and teach little old her a lesson?
There’s more to this boy than the others. Harrington has depths and Billie itches to explore. She licks her lips and Steve, he can’t look away.
Until he does. Little Miss Wheeler, who Billie hadn’t even noticed until the little priss scoffed loud enough to draw her boyfriend’s attention and then stumbled away, heading toward the punch station. Steve’s brow furrows in concern, and then he’s calling out after her and abandoning Tommy and the others to yap at Wheeler’s heels like a loyal dog.
Tommy stares after them and shakes his head, says with the kind of twisted up love spoiled little boys are so good at turning into weapons, “yeah that’s what I thought. I don’t know what the hell he sees in her.”
“Maybe she hides crack in her snatch.” Billie suggests with a shrug and Tommy howls. He’s too drunk and this is too easy. She wants to follow that lingering scent of Guy Laroche and find Harrington. Test how long that leash Wheeler’s got him on really is. Poke and prod at that perfect facade until she finds all of the cracks – split him open right down the middle and maybe (just maybe) curl inside him, right up next to the beast she’s sure is sleeping inside of him.
Safe at last. The little girl she refuses to be voices, faint. But her inner child is easily squashed, buried behind the walls Billie has built around her (in her defense). In her defense, nowhere is safe. And she knows that. Thrives in spite. Stealing Nancy Wheeler’s man and returning the absent king to his throne will be a thrill, she decides. And that’s reason enough for the smile on her face as she slides her tongue over her lip in thought.

@disneyanddisneyships shower thoughts..
I think Mal torturing the souls of the ones she made a deal with afterwards is symbolic of the fact that worldly desires cannot fulfill you truly, and the thrill of it never lasts. Because yes you would seem like you have everything at the palm of your hands but at the same time you gambled your soul for it and you don’t know what’s coming for you. I think Mal is one of the most powerful demons because of her influence and how she understands every point of view enough to give them what they truly want. but for her it depends on the soul and intentions if she’s going to either abduct/torture them or leave them alone. She maims selfish souls. Those who made a deal with her solely for their own selfish fucked up greeds, which is a lot of demons so she definitely has fun with them. Oh not to mention her boyfriend who’s literally king of Technology. He knows everyone’s desires and it’d be easy for Mal to lure demons due to both of their influences on people. Wether it be lust, greed or gluttony she would feed you until you overdose and finally lets the real fun begin. Not to mention she controls each of their fates, how they’ll get what they want. Love is a rare thing in hell, but greed.. it’s a different thing. Demons don’t cower at the mention of her name. Everyone’s eyes are on her because they know she’s capable of giving you anything you want, but not exactly anything you need. (Also, green is Mal’s color. You know what’s the color and overall aesthetic of the greed ring as seen in Exes and Oohs??? Green. Literally most of the entire setting.) She’s powerful as hell and is cunning when it comes to deal making. Hell, she was a con artist for years. She strives off of people’s worldly desires only to crush their entire world to further prove that nothing lasts forever and that she is two sides of the same coin. Where there is luck in her is also an ill-fated twist. You’ll never be truly happy when you’re focusing on the physical stuff. Because she doesn’t have what your heart and soul truly needs. You know who has that? Aponi. like listen. If Mal made a deal with Carolyn for example, John would be exterminated, Carol would have her son free from all harm. She controls her fate. She aligns the constellations. It isn’t exactly a selfish worldly desire like how it would have been if she made a deal with John, but she’s feeding off of the anger and misery Carolyn feels and that she thought all she wanted was her husband dead. She wanted John to go away, but what now after that? Why is she still miserable? She has her son.. it’s because Mal covers the physical need of someone. Even if you’re not a selfish soul you’re still in hell all miserable, and Mal cannot change that. Even if your intention was as pure as Carol’s.. somehow something is still missing. That’s when Aponi gets into the picture. Ofcourse there is luck in love and there is love in luck. They compliment each other.
Mal gives people what they want
Aponi gives people what they don’t know they need inside
(I think what makes Aponi so special is because she brings something out of the ordinary in hell. She’s kind, empathetic, and lives up to her power which is loving. Overlords get to their rank through apathy, Aponi got her rank through empathy which causes demons to be intrigued. Because not all sinners were truly evil like her and they saw her as a ray of hope, a sign of something good. She is truly impressing and her character overall is a scathingly wonderful imperfect image of what love is like. Despite all the pain that’s been towered down on her she managed to still be that same kind girl she always were. She had her moments where she would overdose, or self-destruct which embodies the downs that comes with love. Love is not all about being happy and dreaming about rainbows. Love is about what’s in your heart despite all the tragedies you’ve faced. You can love and you are able to still after going through what you did. It’s a powerful word and a dangerous weapon if you do not know how to use it. Aponi as an overlord in this specific role makes sense to her story. She did wonders and touched the heart of many, worked miracles for some people and ofcourse the happy hotel benefited from it as well. The patrons added up thanks to Aponi’s eye-opening kindness. This also disproves the fact that kindness is not a weakness nor is love.)
That’s what makes them seem like the opposite but if u think of it they compliment each other as well. I think it’s based on their motives. Aponi wants demons to find peace, Mal strives off of the highs and lows. The complete chaos.
Also love and luck as best friends is an interesting dynamic

seaQuest DSV S1 Ep1 To Be or Not To Be
I don't normally do this but me wanting to watch this show again so very badly is what prompted this whole project (shout to @tesria for buying me the boxset because she is literally the best)
But anyway I'm going to live blog my watching of this first episode.
But I'm putting it under the cut so you can skip it if you want to
Shorter review and ratings here:
Short review:
It was silly, and fun, and seeing Jonathon Brandis as Lucas made me want to cry. (RIP Jonathon). Anyway I love this show
Ratings:
Story: 6/10 - it was a pilot episode and a lot had to be established but it was gripping enough and I was engaged the whole time
Acting: 6/10 - mostly it was pretty good but there were a few low moments. Mostly from secondary characters
Cheese: 8/10 - It has a talking dolphin named DARWIN
Enjoyment: 8/10 - I had so much fun with this
Effects: 4/10 - I should be more generous for the time but holy shit did it not age well
Charm: 8/10 - but holy shit was it charming and fun to watch
Cringe: -1/0 - there is a DOLPHIN who TALKS
Aged LIke Milk: -1/0 - I have to give it one for the opening credits and the effects cause holy shit
Overall ranking:
B Tier
Beginning:
Anyway I watched some of this episode on a very low quality pirate ages ago but nothing is better then seeing it proper picture.
The opening credits look like they were done in windows movie maker over stock images of sea life while John F. Kennedy talks about how we have salt in our blood and other bodily fluids because we came from the ocean and therefore belong to the ocean.
It's very weird.
Then we pan to some very questionable early cgi of an underwater settlement that's declared to be in: "The Near Future" and then we see a sign for an settlement that's declared to be established in the far distant future of 2016
This is going to be amazing.
Now we have a couple of cgi ships chasing a smaller cgi ship where Bobby barely makes it in the airlock but uh oh! It was scavenging in another confederation's territory and now the Military is being called in!
Now we seaQuest the biggest of the cgi ships. It is so unconvincing looking.
Oh Jaxor is the lieutenant! Hi Jaxor!
A blond woman is the captain and I know I already watched enough to know this but even before I watched part of the jacked copy months ago I knew she was going to be a villain on sight. She has the poise of "I'm evil but trying to be low key about it"
Oh her second in command fucking hates her
Also I love her.
She's giving her speech about how she can get peace by murdering people despite command saying "No don't do that."
Second in command is relieved her of command because he's great.
...Okay now it's 13 months later and apparently there is United Earths Oceans Organisation which clearly military as fuck.
Apparently they need someone not so military but military enough to command the ship and there is only one man good enough but he'll never take the job
Apparently to get this guy to take up the job the commander (second in command guy) has to pretend to be terrible at his job.
Okay we have eccentric beach man with a dolphin who is the person best for the job. Nathan Bridges (Or Roy Scheider)
Lots of scientific bullshit and also Nathan's old friend is the one recruiting him.
He is pretty good at playing the curmudgeon I'll give him that.
The dolphin is named Darwin
Hints of a tragic backstory and a dead wife. Why are dead wives always named Carol?
seaQuest is being refitted to be the Enterprise underwater
Dead son too and why are dead sons usually a Robert or Johnny?
Oh he shaved.
More terrible cgi. I think I found it really impressive as a kid but it's very silly now.
This wants to be Underwater Star Trek so bad
The bad guys are capitalists
Where is that accent from?
Also yeah the blond lady has joined as a minion
...Okay so there is a guy who deals with contraband and got a guy male pattern baldness meds.
...the dolphin talks.....it's so fucking funny you have no idea.
JONATHON BRANDIS! Our boy genius Lucas who made the system that lets Darwin speak! He's so cocky and I want to cry. When Jonathon Brandis was reported to have died I cried so much. He was so important to me growing up.
Lucas is such a little shit. I love him
Commander Jonathon is playing his part but he's so tense I want to hug him.
A computer shows a hologram on a stream of water to answer moral or ethical dilemmas. Also did I mention that Nathan Bridges helped design this ship?
Also they left port with him on board and against his will
Capitalist Bad Guys are stalking them.
The seaQuest is shaped like a sex toy from Bad Dragon.
Am I wrong?
Tumblr media
Skeevy Contraband guy is great.
Ah he also says he knew Nathan Bridger's son and also he was apparently briefly married to the stern and upright lieutenant in the command.
Bad guys making their move
The Bad Guys plan is going to convince Nathan to take command
Every time Jonathan Brandis is on screen my heart hurts.
Commander Jonathan is doing his best job to force Nathan to take command but it hurts because he's great but also he's genuinely under pressure
Evil Blonde Lady is single minded and also sabotaged the ship
Ah Jonathan is revealing the plan he was told to follow.
Who plays Jonathan? I love him.
Oh Don Franklin. He's been in a lot of stuff! Anyway he's good.
Also the ship heals itself? What the fuck?
Also the Tough Lieutenant is now controlling an undersea mech with vr stuff
Ah no Jonathan is still pretending he's an asshole. But I love Jonathan
head scientist is a sassy older lady btw.
Lucas is going to save the day by fixing the computer virus
I already care about these characters. Even when it's cheesy the acting is emotional. Also Nathan has accepted his role as captain! Yay!
Maybe Jonathan can be a good guy again.
oohhhhhhhhh Nathan taught evil Blond Lady
MONTAGE TIME
I love a villain who knows who they are and don't give a shit
They are using the talking dolphin to mark the enemy ship. Also the Scientist Lady is like "This is kinda fucked up" I like her a lot
The bad guy pony tail minion is the only questionable actor other than the "Where Is My Accent From" Capitalist
Stark is sexy in her evilness. She has no motivation other than "Fuck everyone else" which is very very sexy of her.
The CGI dolphin is hilarious btw
Holy shit she started hitting a guy because he was trying to get her to leave the sinking sub! I love her! She's so unnecessarily evil.
Also pony tail guy was Evil Capitalist Of Unknown Accent's son apparently.
Sassy Scientist and Nathan will have a will they won't they relationship but the AI now looks like his dead wife.
Lucas is having bonding time with Nathan.
When I was like 9 I thought I had a crush on Lucas but looking back I think it was gender envy because I spent my teens really wanting to look like Lucas.
Ah we are back to stock footage of the ocean with dramatic music.
Anyway I loved this. This was great in every way

Today's compilation:
The Sound of Hollywood Girls 1983 Hard Rock / Punk Rock / New Wave / Heavy Metal
Oh my god, FUCK YES, dude! 😤 This is such an incredible album here! A crop of all-female and female-fronted underground rock acts of different stripes just delivering some pure rawness in early 80s Los Angeles, right before all the cock-rocking, dopey hair bands *really* came to take hold of the Sunset Strip and went on to define for most what 80s LA rock music was. Lots of odd, goofy, and quirkily satisfying fare to be found within this thing, and a lot of it done by *very* ephemeral acts that you've probably never heard of in your life.
Like, take De De Troit, for example: a woman who fronted a band called U.X.A. that put out a sole studio album in the 80s and who herself only put out one solo 7-inch in her career as well. She contributes a plainly wild exclusive cover here of the controversial, Phil Spector-produced and Carole King-and-Gerry Goffin-penned 1962 tune, "He Hit Me," by The Crystals, by laying down a strange combination of heavy, fuzz-muddy guitar chords and whimsical, saccharine pop strings, and then shifting the tempo upwards to churn out some brief bouts of killer punk rock on the choruses. Just totally irresistible nuttery in that one 😜🤘.
Then the B-side kicks off with a pair of less weird, but still fantastic tracks that would later go on to comprise both sides of a split 7-inch that same year, provided by, who are, by far, this album's two most popular bands: Hellion and Bitch. Hellion, fronted by the scratchiness of Ann Boleyn, deliver "Nightmares," a terrific hard rockin' metal groove that comes with one wicked guitar solo, and then Bitch light up and dazzle with some head-spinning, galloping thrashiness on "I'm in Love" 😍.
Truth be told, the A-side, which has more of the enjoyable quirk on it, is the more consistent half of this release, but those two Hellion and Bitch tunes that lead off the B-side are the most technically impressive ones of this whole bunch.
Tremendous record from the Hollywood-based Mystic Records here that presents an eclectic blend of rock tunes, from hard rock, to heavy metal, to punk and new wave, all while shining a spotlight on some great and mostly fleeting early 80s LA female talent. Lots of fun and chock-full of exclusives too.
Highlights:
LA Girls - "Sure" Soloman Kane - "Twilight Zone" The Skirts - "S&M Blvd. Boy" Butch - "Tractor Trailor Tragedy" De De Troit - "He Hit Me" Hellion - "Nightmares" Bitch - "I'm in Love"

One of the things about the MCU that continues to bug me more and more is the hype built around any crossover and the way character interaction happens in the movies and shows. There's room for literal essays and there probably have been some already on how artificial many of the character interactions and 'crossovers' are, but also just the fact that they're a thing that's hyped up and treated like it's special in the first place?
I loved the MCU in 2012, don't get me wrong. I still like those movies, and I remember being impressed to the moon and back that they managed to make the Avengers come to life and come together on screen and it WORKED and it was fun and explosive and awesome. It didn't really matter that Wolverine and Storm and Spider-Man weren't a part of it because I understand that as far as live action went, they were with different studios, and I could easily read fifty different comics with that lineup and more. (I was and always will be salty that Janet wasn't there.)
The Avengers movie was impressive because superhero movies had always been a mixed bag, and an ensemble was a struggle. Avengers made it feel cool to be into superhero teams.
But then Marvel just kept... Congratulating themselves every time they got a new character on screen.
Now I haven't read a lot of comics. But traditionally speaking the big players of Marvel and DC all essentially live in each other's backyard. If you have a problem with weird mystic stuff, you get on the bus and go see Stephen Strange. It's a Tuesday for them. So Marvel making this MASSIVE deal of Spider-Man joining the Avengers ... It's like, yeah, he's been in the Avengers before. They're not doing anything new. And it's exciting to see these characters in the movies! But as Disney has taken over they've latched onto that hype for the characters and driven it into the ground.
Which means we can never have a scene in an Avengers movie where Wolverine just casually shows up. We're not gonna have Carol Danvers and Jessica Jones sitting down at the bar together and talking shit. And I don't care about Charles Xavier appearing in a Scarlet Witch movie where he has nothing to do with anything, and Wanda is neither a mutant nor Jewish Romani, and she was never his enemy or student or had any relationship to him.
The MCU is trying to sell its movies and its characters on the hype and spectacle alone and has been doing it for a long time. It's not impressive that Daredevil cameos in She Hulk. It's a tiny fucking world.
Spectacle is not why I watch movies or shows or read comics, and it isn't enough to make me want to watch fifteen more movies about the same five avengers with special appearance from holy shit it's Reed Richards.
To be clear, I'm not trying to be a comics snob and I detest media snobbery in general. I love superhero movies and I also grew up on the shows and video games more than anything. I think superheroes should be multimedia, it's great. But you only have to read like five comics to realize that like. It doesn't have to be this way. Disney could either use the characters they have to tell good stories or integrate new characters they acquire in a meaningful way. It's not that hard.

Scrooge Netflix review
Hello Hello everyone. Long time no post - I know. It has been just one thing after another for me. However, I am back and I want to kick this post off with a few thoughts about the new Netflix take on the story A Christmas Carol, named Scrooge. I will give a few thoughts before giving it my spoiler side of it.
First, I will be candid that there is nothing really new to the story that has not done a million times before with a Christmas Carol. Most people know if it by now, so story wise, it is not something to say. Except for one or two characters that I will touch upon later
However, I will say that the animation is rather beautiful. I know some people might not like it, but the CGI does a good job capturing the expressions on characters and some of the harsh cuts of them as well as their more softer side. (Especially for one of the ghost that is rather impressive what they do with it). Additionally the voice acting was really good. Luke Evans playing Scrooge surprisingly worked for him - I know he is not a bad actor, but he certainly had me doing double takes to make sure that was him.
And I will be candid that, from watching the credits, I will say that a lot of work and passion was put into this film in honor of one of the writers and possible song composers - that seems to have passed on. And yes, slight spoiler, but this movie is a musical; so will not go too harsh on the music but I will say that I will be honest a few of them do not really stick. Rest in peace Leslie Bricusse.
Overall, if you are in the mood to give this a try and want something that you can just enjoy the visuals of the film and some more touching/ terrifying moments animated by the story, worth a shot for this Christmas year. Personally can see this being a good something nice to listen to in the back ground and visually appealing
Alright spoilers from here on out.
So, thoughts about this film that are spoiler filled. So be warned.
Personally, this film could have cut a few things and lingered on a few more things. This film has lots of moments that feel like you get why they were in there, but then why did they go that far or make the story really really tug on THAT particular heart string.
For example in the film, Bob Cratchit - Scrooge’s assistant - has a distinctive eye coloring to make him stand out - cool. But then we learn about Scrooge’s past and his partnership with Marely in action - with some additional eyes on them as well but will get to later. And we see a bakery being closed for not paying Marely the fee he lent to them and saying some words that are a bit on the nose of what Scrooge said to Bob before hand - which is nice call back, but still on the nose. And we see a mother carrying a baby that turns out to be Bob and it is supposed to make Scrooge realize that his actions have consequences - I get that. It does work, but I feel they kinda lean on it to make sure visually then paring it with visual imagery of Bob currently in the back to say “This is the child you fucked up Scrooge, you caused this man’s downfall.” And they really hit home how much he affected this family. I think it would have been better that maybe it was not clear as the baby looked like Bob, and then something in a conversation with Bob could have made Scrooge realized the error then instead of having the obvious visual cue.
On a side note - Past was probably my second fav character to Scrooge in this film. She had the most fun with the role as well as visually had so much more flexibility for jokes and visual motifs as well. I love she is literally a candle and the waxy formation of her is mold-able.
Speaking of visual, I will say that the next thing that I will say was the follow sequence that scene when Scrooge’s fiance/ love Isabel, is trying to talk with Scrooge now before she finally leaves him. And the song that follows it is simple as well as some of the visuals really beautiful as it is just between Isabel trying to plea to her version of Scrooge while Old Scrooge realized her plea and telling his past he needed to take her before she left. It was beautiful and I will say the one song I think - while simple - deserves some love. So attaching a link in below:
https://youtu.be/QUyvmVDwqfw
Also, they have a pupper in the film name Prudence, so cute.
Now there was a time where I think they could have either done away with an extra song or spent some more time with would be the song for the Present - not sure which one it is off the top of my head - or the second song that Tiny Tim and His sister sing. I think both were meh songs, but it would have hit so much harder if they had more time to make the songs for either person a bit more memorable. For me that is. If they were someone’s favorite, that is great.
But I will say there is one scene that I think kinda felt morbid was the scene with Future and one of the characters is practically on Scrooge’s grave. And narratively, there is a point for it as well and it is pretty tongue and cheek music number, it does not help that the dog is the one to try to break the immersion of the song and letting Scrooge keep living in denial when we all know that it is not true. Personally, I don’t mind it but I am sure other’s will find it a bit strange.
And speaking of strange, I will address that while I do love musical films, I know that it is not everyone’s thing. And this has a lot of moments that feel like - I know there is music coming but at the same time does this really need to happen now. Some of them definitely needed to be cut, but otherwise, I liked the music. Not too bad.
Overall, Scrooge is certainly at least a watch and worth a few minutes of your time to watch it.

You don't know how but somehow training with Yelena always ended up with you being pinned down on the training mat.
"Fuck" you cursed frustrated as she pinned you down for the 3d time in a row. Yelena laughed before she stood up and held out her hand for you to take.
"I let you win!" You said as she pulled you up.
"Sure you did" she joked.
"Seriously. I let you stomp on my dignity because I have a favor to ask!" you said back, a goofy grin playing on your lips as you passed her one of the water bottles.
"Now, that's gonna be interesting" she said as she sat on the floor, her back facing the wall. She gratefully took the bottle from your hand as she waited for you to talk.
"be my girlfriend" you said. The two of you were always comically stupid, so of course that you said that at the same moment she was taking a gulp from her bottle and of course she choked- and of course you laughed.
"I'm Sorry" the blonde glared at you.
"You're not" she responded in between coughing.
After a few moments, she finally stopped coughing and your laugh dyed out as well.
"You're right. I wasn't." You laughed again and she shoved you playfully.
"So, did you seriously just asked me to be your girlfriend?" She asked. Her lips forming her famous-troubled-maker cheeky grin.
"Well.. my fake girlfriend to be exact" you corrected yourself and she laughed again.
"You know you could've started with that, right?"
"And what's the fun in that?"
You smirked at her, knowing full well she found the random question amusing.
"So Why me, anyway..? - Wait, Let me guess.. kate and carol said no and you're scared of Wanda?"
"Okay first I'm not scared of Wanda, I'm scared of your sister.. there's a difference. And Second; my parents in town.. and I kinda told them I have a girlfriend.."
"Oh, now that's classic" Yelena, obviously, found the situation hilarious and you couldn't blame her since you found this dumb conversation amusing as well.
"Does it mean you'll do it?" You asked.
"Yeah why not" she responded you raised an eyebrow at her waiting for the catch. With Yelena, there's always a catch or at least a stupid comment.
"Yeah. I want to meet the poor souls who had to deal with your stupidity on a daily basis for the last 20 years..."
And here it is. You thought.
"I will punch you" you threaten her.
"Kinky" she smirked.
"Whatever stupid. I'll pick you up tomorrow at 8" you said as you got up from the spot next to her.
"Wear something nice"
_______________________________
The thing about Yelena is that you can never know what to expect. No matter how much time you spent with her, and it was a lot, she somehow still managed to surprise you.
This time was no different. but in her defense, this time the blame is definitely on you. You saw Yelena wear different kinds of outfits, from gear to fancy dresses, yet for some reason, you just didn't expect the other girl to wear a suit, and damn she looked good.
The gray suit fit her perfectly and her long blonde hair was down. She looked painfully beautiful and you couldn't help but stare- and she couldn't help but notice.
She wasn't doing better, on your defense. The blonde checked you out shamelessly before she sent you a smirk "How lucky I am" she joked and you rolled your eyes.
"Very lucky.. and so am i" Yelena smiled at you and held her hand out for you to take.
The ride was short and 15 minutes later you were standing outside the restaurant.
You could feel Yelena's gaze on you as you bit your lip nervously. "It will be alright" she assured you as she interviewed your hands together. "Thank you" you looked at her gratefully "Don't sweat it" she replayed with a soft smile.
That was the thing about Yelena, people always misguided her for someone she wasn't and it always made you mad. God, Of course, she was strong and fierce and brave and absolutely terrifying at times- but She was so much more than that. She was sweet and loyal and caring, and kinda funny (don't tell her) and absolutely beautiful- inside and out. One of your favorite things about her was her shy and sincere smile, which seemed reserved only for you.
"You ready?" She squeezed your hand. you took a small shaky breath before smiling back at her. "As ready as ill ever be"
The restaurant wasn't busy and it didn't take you long to catch your parents in a corner in the far back of the room. Both smiling wide as you walked towards them. Your mother's smile was contagious and you couldn't help but smile back. God, you missed them.
"We've missed you so much" your father said as he hugged you, your mother doing the same.
"I've missed you too" you confessed before tugging Yelena forwards them.
"I'm assuming that's the girlfriend," Your father said and you nodded. God, You were nervous and Yelena could sense it as she reached for your father's hand.
"Yelena." She introduced herself As they shook hands. Her grip firm and her smile dazzling. "I'm Y/D/N and this is my wife Y/M/N" he introduced himself as well.
"Glad to finally meet you. I heard a lot of great things about you" She said with a confident smile.
Both of you could tell the older man was impressed by the blonde and you couldn't help but smile.
"Were happy to finally meet you as well- although we can't say the same since pumpkin over here hasn't said much about you"
Yelena smirked at you as you blushed deeply. You knew she wouldn't let you forget about the nickname. Like, never. "Yeah, it's actually pretty new. It wasn't really planned neither" she explained.
Your mother, God bless her, wasn't the one to shook hands. The moment Yelena was free from your father's grip she found herself in the woman's warm embrace.
"Okay... I think we should start ordering" you said when Yelena was free again. Her cheeks were a bit flushed. The Russian Assassin wasn't used to be hugged and you couldn't help but smile.
The conversation was light, the wine was good and most importantly, your parents loved Yelena. which was understandable considering the fact she was annoyingly charming.
The Yelena that sat next to you with her hand on your lap was the best version the blonde could pull and you felt stupid for being worried in the first place. Yelena led the conversation with politeness, charm, and grace that you never knew she had in her- and your mom seemed impressed. Impressing your dad was even easier- Yelena didn't even have to try, all she had to do was show her intelligence and add some light humor.
After an hour of light and mostly general conversation, amazing food, many embarrassing stories of you on both sides, and 2 glasses of wine, your mom decided to take the conversation into her hands.
"So Yelena. Tell us about yourself."
Oh boy. Now that might be a problem.
"Well... I joined the avengers a few months ago" she explained "Not long after I met your daughter actually," she said simply.
"That's nice, and before that?" The older woman asked.
"I was a freelance.." Yelena gulped. Her hand squeezes yours
"As?" Your mom asked. You knew she didn't try to push Yelena into this corner, she wasn't this kind of person, but she definitely put the blonde on the spot.
"Well... I was involved with the black market and different criminal organizations. Jobs like getting undercover to dig information or well.. getting rid of powerful men in the criminal world.."
Your parent's eyes went wide. Your dad stared at her with wide eyes and your mom cleared her throat.
"I don't do it anymore" she continued. The blonde seemed as nervous as you felt.
"How did you ended up in this line of work? If I may ask?"
"Mom I don't think-" you started and Yelena smiled at you.
"No, It's fine babe.." she said before moving her attention back to your parents "Sometimes life gets you to places where you have to do bad things to survive."
Your dad's expression was unreadable and your mom seemed worried as she glanced at you.
"Yelena and I met when her sister recruited and pulled her out of this life. Yelena is a good person, despite everything she's been through. That's what I love the most about her." You said.
Yelena smiled softly and your parents exchanged looks.
"I'm a different person now" Yelena promised
"We believe you... but I can't help but worry for my daughter, as you can surely understand. What if the people you've been involved with. Try to get to you through Y\N"
Your father asked calmly. Both were taking it better than you expected and you couldn't blame them for being worried.
"Dad. I know it might come as shocking.. but I'm a big girl and I'm well aware of the risk of being involved with Yelena. I need you to trust me when I say that risks, some worse than the mafia, were a part of my life long before we met."
Yelena bit her lip to hold a smile and you interviewed your hands again.
"You're a doctor" your mom argued "I'm a field doctor. Of the avengers." you corrected her. "which means I'm more of capable of taking care of myself."
Your dad nodded softly to your mom before he smiled at you. "You're are.. Don't you?" He laughed. "Mu little pumpkin.." he sIgh and your mother smiled as well
"I just want you to understand that all we want for you is to be safe and happy. And even a blind man can see Yelena gives you that." He sent Yelena a soft smile. Yelena smiled back at him.
"Take care of my daughter.. she's a keeper" your father said firmly.
"She is. And trust me, I will" she promised.
_______________________________
"Well, that went well" you laughed when you got into the passenger seat. Yelena volunteered to drive which was a relief since you were exhausted.
After the two of you got into your seats the blonde sent you a small smile and took something out of her pocket.
"Is that? A bullet..?" You asked confused as you took the copper cylinder from her hand.
Yelena laughed softly.
"It is. It's the same bullet you stopped me from shooting at Natasha"  she confessed.
"I was in such a bad place back then and I blamed Natasha for it. If it weren't for you things would've been very different now" Yelena whispered
"Yeah, both of you were dead since you would've shot her, and Wanda would've probably hunted you down and kill you" you laughed and Yelena's shoulders relaxed.
"Probably" she said. "But with all seriousness... I was aiming a gun at my own sister and instead of pulling your own gun at me, you decided to shield her with your own body and dare me to shoot you as well. Who does that!?."
"You thought I was insane" you laughed.
"I thought you were stupid, putting your life at risk to save someone fucked up like us! someone like me.." She confessed and it downed on you.
No matter what happened or how many good things Yelena had done in her life, she couldn't let go of who she was trained to be. She still blamed herself for all the terrible things she did back at the red room and she constantly tried to get closure by doing the exact opposite- which was probably the reason she killed all these bad men in the first place. But then Natasha came back for her, and Yelena blamed her for leaving her behind to live with the things they did. She felt betrayed and broken, and Natasha's return only made it worse. Like she was just pitting her broken sister.
"All I know is that the Yelena I stood up to and the Natasha I saved that day were not the villains the red room tried to create." You whispered.
"You truly believed that? Even then?" Yelena was crying softly and you cupped her cheek.
"Especially then! I know you don't see it, but I'm here to remind you, you're a good person. Truly. You have a good heart- and I've seen it"
Yelena's cheeks were stained with tears, her eyes red and puffy and her famous crooked smile was plastered on her lips.
"And that's why you love me?"
She was a mess just like back then- when she was aiming a gun at her own sister as who she thought she was and who she truly is were fighting for dominance.
She was tragically beautiful and scared both then and now, yet somehow at the same time, she was more sure and confident than ever before. And I guess that what life is all about. Sometimes, things start to make sense only when everything else doesn't.
"Wasn't it obvious, stupid?" You said and stroked her cheek carefully as she melted into your touch.
Yelena smiled before kissing your hand softly, without breaking eye contact with you.
"You're the stupid one and you know it. Taking an assassin as your dinner date." She joked and you nodded and looked briefly at her lips.
"Well, stupid or not, I still manage to get a kiss at the end of it." Yelena laughed and got closer to you.
"Yeah you did" she whispered and kissed you.
And that was the thing about Yelena. She was good and kind and loyal. And a damn good kisser.

"no."
"what do you mean, 'no’?” Matthew laughs, looking between me and the mirror.
"I look like the Ghost of Christmas Past." I lift up the soft white tulle of the dress, watching it float back down to settle over my skin. he's got his eyebrows raised and there's a smirk on his lips like he's holding back a laugh. I resist the urge to reach around and hit him.
"would you rather wear that?" he points to the punch-stained gown that's now laying pathetically over the back of the vanity chair. I genuinely ponder the idea for a moment.
"honestly, the crime scene vibes might work well with the theme of our show."
"seriously, it's not bad, Y/N!" he insists, drawing my attention back to the mirror.
"you're just saying that because you're the one who spilled on me and you don't want people making fun of how clumsy you are." I cross my arms over my chest. he gives me a dubious expression in our reflection on the wall.
"do I seem like I care about that?" he challenges.
"I--" the truth is that no, Matthew is not the type. Matthew is the kind of person to flounder in front of anyone and proceed to crack a joke about himself. he's humble. but I kind of like when we talk like this, our back and forth.
after a year of working together on the same show, he and I have grown incredibly close. I'm friends with all my co-stars, but he and I just have the natural friendship chemistry that makes me want to spend all my time with him. when we're not on set, we're hanging out on his couch or ordering dinner or driving out of town to check out wacky sites around California. we just have fun. pure, clean, honest fun.
of course, in my dreams it isn't pure or honest. frankly, there's a lot of sordid scandal to what goes on in my head when he accidentally touches my arm or brushes his fingers over mine. the amount of times I have gone to cast parties trying to work up the nerve to kiss him are embarrassing. he's older and more experienced and, obviously, he has no interest in me.
but that doesn't matter.
the only reason I'm standing in a dressing room alone with him is because he knew someone on the crew who could hook me up with a replacement for the night. he left while I slipped out of the old one and came back in only after knocking and checking, like, twice to make sure I was decent. he's so respectful that it's almost like he's afraid of making me think the wrong thing-- which makes me feel absolutely stupid for my almost schoolgirl crush.
"come on, you look great. let's go enjoy the party."
"was this a dress one of the victims was wearing?" I ask with a laugh.
"probably. not like we carry a lot of gowns on set." he grabs my hand, makes my heart leap into my throat. he only does it to urge me along, but it still feels intimate as I follow him out of the room, tossing one more evaluative glance at myself in the mirror. I seem terrified.
we continue to do our rounds at the party, Matthew filling my glass of eggnog even though I hate it. I wince and take a sip while we talk to some of our co-stars.
"what's wrong with you?" Shemar chuckles at my expression.
"lost a bet."
"with whom?" he glances between Matthew and me, knowing damn well already from the mischievous grin on the former's face.
"I told you not to take it." Matthew says over the rim of his glass.
"if you mention it one more time, I'm gonna throw up eggnog all over your outfit." I threaten him, but we're both smiling. Shemar frowns.
"what was the bet?"
"you know David-- the guy I was telling you about?" I reply quickly, determined to give my side of the story. Shemar nods; I told him last week when David oh-so-chivalrously danced up on me at a club and asked me out. usually in those situations, guys just want a one-night stand, so I was impressed and agreed. "anyway, Matthew said if it turned out that he was a weirdo, he would get to pick my drinks for the next week whenever we go out."
"your drinks? that's specific."
"she's so picky!" Matthew teases me.
"leave me alone, you dick!" I elbow him and he dodges just in time.
"tell him why he was a weirdo." he grins. the glare I give could kill. but Shemar is waiting expectantly for me to share the information, so I sigh and set my jaw before telling the truth.
"he collects antique dental tools."
"what?" Shemar laughs disbelievingly. I throw my hands up.
"I don't fucking know. we went back to his apartment and he showed me his whole collection."
"you're attracted to weird people, Y/N." Matthew says. I raise my eyebrows and almost say something that dooms me. I hold my tongue, however, and turn back to Shemar with a reserved smile.
"anyway, how are you?"
...
the cast holiday party is actually pretty fun. I tend to leave these functions early in favor of my couch and some ice cream, but something about the bright colors and the smell of wintergreen in the air makes me want to linger in the studio.
I stuff myself with sugar cookies and Matthew mercifully lets me switch from eggnog to Sprite. normally, I'd drink at such an occasion, but I'm a messy drunk and this is one of my first real jobs as an actress. I don't want to even come close to jeopardizing that by breaking some expensive equipment or something.
my throat gets a little sore from all the talking I do-- Paget and I spend about half an hour horribly belting out Christmas carols at the baby grand piano they brought in. they originally had someone hired to play it, but the guy disappeared about an hour ago.
by the time it hits around ten pm, my limbs are tired. I thought people would be leaving (a lot of them have families), but the party is still very much raging when I start to wind down. maybe it's because I'm sober.
"hey." Matthew sidles up next to me as I sit at the piano bench with a slice of lime in my mouth. I like to suck the juice out of them; sour things are my favorite.
"hi." I pluck the fruit out and drop it back into my soda. he sits next to me, his cologne filling my senses with the kind of sensual warmth that it shouldn't be making me feel. he always smells so good.
"ladylike." he gestures to the movement.
"is that why you call me 'princess?'" I smirk, half-joking.
"once-- I called you that once!" he defends. it's not a lie. he used the nickname when he was mocking me for my somewhat selective food preferences. it was sarcastic, but I wish it wasn't. something about the way he said it in the moment made me blush.
"is there a reason you've come to grate my nerves?" I raise an eyebrow and he turns away from me as he bites back a smile. I pout. "what?"
"you're talking like a Jane Austen novel."
"what's wrong with Jane Austen?" I defend, skin heating up. his proximity is doing things to me that it shouldn't.
"nothing," he glances at me before moving his gaze to the ivory keys. "do you play?"
"elementary level, sure." I giggle. he runs his fingers over them, never pressing down hard enough to release a sound. I'm entranced by the delicate nature of his actions, the veins and the curve of his fingertips, the sheer width of his hand. I think about it too much for it to be healthy.
"show me." it's a direct order, one that doesn't feel directive but still ends with me placing both hands on the piano and wracking my brain for something to play. I decide on a piece that Paget and I were doing earlier, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas."
I've never been quite good at piano, and the nearness of his body is like an anvil on my fingers, but I play anyway. and it feels good. his eyes are on me, drawn to my tracings over the instrument as they press and lift and glide.
"sing." I tell him.
"no!" he protests. I don't stop playing, only now getting into the thick of the tune.
"oh, come on. just the chorus..." I plead, turning my head to beg. "please?"
I bat my lashes playfully, fully intending it as a joke, but Matthew softens a bit. for a fraction of a second, I think he looks at my mouth. he turns his head back to the piano and lets out a quiet "here we are as in olden days... happy golden days of yore..."
"there you go!" I egg him on, and he starts to get more into it. his voice is absolutely off-key; he's no singer, and somehow that makes him even more endearing to me.
Matthew has always been this flawless, intimidating figure in my mind. even when we first met, I was certain that he was hiding something because everything else about him is so... perfect. he's funny, sweet, genuinely kind, handsomer than hell. it didn't make sense. but knowing that he can't carry a tune makes me feel a bit better. it humanizes his beauty.
while he sings, I can't help looking at him. his side profile is even more enchanting; the curve of his features meeting a smooth elegance in his jaw and cheek, especially when his mouth is open. he catches me smiling at him and returns it with his own gleeful face, now totally fine with singing like a fool in front of everyone. nobody is even really looking at us-- they're several drinks in and lost in their own universe of drunken laughter.
there's something kind of magical about that, I think. we're sober. when the song draws to a close, I lift my fingers off the keys and into my lap.
"you're quite the Pavarotti." I joke.
"the who?" he furrows his brow with a smile.
"he's a famous opera singer."
"oh," he laughs, "thanks, Mozart."
I twist my face up as I hide my smile. this is also part of the reason I could never tell Matthew how I feel; we just fit together too well. he almost always gets my references and I understand his, even though there's an age gap between us. he's an old soul with a youthful heart.
"how's your night going?" I ask him softly, changing the subject. he sets his hands on his lap, absent-mindedly toying with his fingers. it's not a nervous tendency at all. he does it whenever we're on set.
"as of right now? pretty damn good." he replies with a smile. I get warm again at the implication. he doesn't mean it like that, but god, do I wish he did.
"very smooth." I compliment appreciatively.
"how about you?"
"it was kind of boring, but then this rando sat next to me and started singing Christmas songs and it got a little better." I say flatly, grabbing my glass off the top of the piano and running my fingertip over the rim. he drops his head in a giggle.
"you're something else."
"insult?" I clarify.
"definitely a compliment."
"I like compliments."
"well, I wasn't lying before. you look really beautiful in that dress."
"the murder dress?" I glance down at it to hide the absolute wideness of my eyes at his words. he's completely flustering me and I'm starting to find it hard to breathe. he said I look beautiful. not "pretty," not "great"-- beautiful.
"yes, the murder dress." he gets a little pink in his cheeks, and that makes me want to explode on the spot.
"well, say goodbye to it because I'm gonna go change back into my plebeian clothes," I stand from the piano bench. "it's past my bedtime."
Matthew looks up at me with an unreadable expression and I feel my heart flutter in my chest. I hate leaving him. "do you wanna come with me? like-- walk with me?"
"sure." he nods, stands, and follows behind. I can feel his presence like a delightful reminder of the emotions surging in my stomach. we wind through the crowd of party-goers until we end up back in the dressing room, away from the party. it's quiet.
Matthew walks in with me, carrying our drinks in his hand, and he's about to stroll back out so I can change when I touch his arm. the door shuts automatically behind him.
"wait," I swallow quickly. "can you unzip me?"
"oh." Matthew looks at me, then at the glasses in his arms, then at the vanity. he sets them down and comes back quickly, his frame behind me while his fingertips locate the little piece at the top of my gown. my breath hitches in my throat when he brushes over my spine by accident, one nail dragging accidentally against my skin as the fabric slowly gives way. I don't know if he hears it-- it's nearly imperceptible-- but he definitely hesitates once he reaches the place where my back starts to curve into my ass. he pauses, doesn't breathe until he reaches the end of the zipper.
"there you go." he mutters. his voice is a little more hoarse than usual, and he clears his throat as he steps away. I know he's going to back out. he's going to back out of the room and wait for me to slip into nothing and I know, somehow, that he's going to be thinking about how I look in here with my clothes off. he's going to wish he stayed.
and I'm going to wish he'd done more than stayed.
before I can lose my nerve and allow the moment to be swallowed up by practicality, I shrug the straps of the dress down my shoulders and let gravity take over. it drops to the floor, leaving me in only my bra and panties. I can sense him behind me; he's silent for a moment.
"Matthew." I say, the name sitting on my tongue like a sugar cube. perfectly formed, slowly dissolving.
"y-yeah?" he stutters for the first time since I've met him.
"are you looking at my ass right now?" I ask, still turned around. the way he's frozen in place tells me that I'm right.
"yeah." he admits.
"you can touch it, if you want." I murmur softly. part of me doesn't think this is real, the way each sentence leaves my throat like it's been pre-planned. truly, I don't understand how my brain is moving so quickly.
"are you... sure?" he's hesitant, but even I can taste the longing.
"yes."
his hand smooths over my butt, softly at first like he's still not believing his own eyes, before moving back to grab it. he squeezes the flesh, and a low exhale from him tells me that he's excited.
"do you want more?" my voice barely carries. my head is almost foggy from how good it is to have his grip on my body, even in such a simple way. I can feel myself getting wet.
"how much more?" his lips brush over my shoulder and I get goosebumps. my mouth opens and closes for a moment, searching for the right words.
"however much you want."
it's flint and steel, the way he sparks. the air literally leaves my lungs when Matthew grabs my hips and spins me around to face him. my lips part as I peer up at him, at the lust that now darkens those hazel eyes and the way he holds mine. his touch is certain. he pulls our bodies together, tilts my chin up to kiss me.
it's passionate, strong, the kind of kiss that causes me to lean back a bit just to receive the full force of his desire. but I return the affection easily, moaning into his mouth. I've never been held the way that Matthew holds me. like I'm made of sugar glass, like he wants desperately to feel the soft give of my skin and make a home of me.
the heat between our bodies is almost overwhelming, and I sigh when he subtly pushes our hips together. his erection is against my stomach.
"fuck." I mutter when I pull away for air. Matthew doesn't stop his perfect movements, though, tugging my earlobe between his teeth and starting to leave love bites up my skin and over my shoulder. he chuckles against my throat. I shiver.
"you alright, little girl?" he asks.
"just--" I let out a moan at the sensation of his fingers exploring my bare waist. he reaches behind me to unclasp my bra. "just surprised."
"about?" he slides the straps down my shoulders and looks me in the eye. the lack of physical contact makes me whine.
"that you want me."
"how is that surprising?" he smiles, using one index finger to guide me to look at him.
"you don't seem like it."
Matthew raises his eyebrows as if I'm a crazy person. truly dumbstruck. "what?"
"you-- well, I don't know." I frown, but Matthew takes my hand and moves it over his torso until my palm is resting over the considerable bulge in his pants.
"is this enough proof?"
I struggle for words, sputtering. "yeah-- yeah, it is."
he bucks into my hand a little and I bite my lip, eyes moving up to meet his. something passes between us that I don't fully understand, but feel in my bones. I have never, in my life, wanted someone to fuck me as much as I want Matthew to fuck me right now. my jaw clenches.
"I need you." I tell him like this is the most relevant piece of information that will ever pass between us. he smirks.
"yeah?"
"mhmm."
"then lean against the wall and let me give you what you deserve." he orders. for a second, I try to think through what he means. then I look behind me at the open space and back up, him following me closely. his hands move up to cup my breasts, kneading and tweaking my nipples as he kisses my lips. the coolness against my back causes me to gasp, and he swallows the sound with his tongue before moving down my body.
he's torturously slow, taking one of my nipples into his mouth while he shrugs off his suit jacket. he switches to my other peak, one hand splayed over my stomach, and then proceeds southward with his lips. his kisses are delicate, open-mouthed, as they find their way to the waistband of my panties.
he hooks his fingers in them and looks up at me.
"can I eat you out, baby?" he asks. I bite my lip.
"please." like a beg.
"oh, you're polite tonight." he smirks, tugging the garment down my legs and discarding it somewhere in the room. I don't respond, and he doesn't seem to need me to, because he pushes one leg up for better access to my pussy. "let's see if it lasts."
my back curves off of the wall involuntarily when he holds the flat of his tongue against my clit suddenly, trying to roll my hips against his face. my fingers tangle in his hair, one leg resting over his shoulder.
he starts to flick at my clit. I lose grasp of my own language.
"Matthew, that feels so good, I--"
he attaches himself to my bundle of nerves, seemingly turned on by the sounds I'm making for him. he groans as he laps at the wetness between my legs, dipping into my folds and sucking the soul out of me. I whine and use his curls as leverage to gain more friction. he peers up at me.
"needy little girl." he mumbles against my pussy. I shove him back into me.
"make me cum, then." I beg. I can practically feel the devilish smirk on his face as he devours me like he'll never get enough. every twist and lick of his tongue is sending me to new places. I'm panting, chest heaving, while I grab my own tits and buck into his mouth.
he moans. my orgasm hits me like a wave, causing me to nearly thrash with pleasure as I cry out.
"Matthew, keep going, fuck yes!" I feel tears prick the back of my eyes, the culmination almost too much to bear as we hold contact. he stares into my fucking soul as he eats me out, and I want to stay like this forever. it's hard to support myself with my legs going weak, but I love it. the sensations are otherworldly. it's only when I'm about to collapse that I push his face away from me.
"I love your pussy." he tells me, licking his lips as he sets my legs down. I grin and let my head fall back against the wall.
"thanks."
"come here, princess." he takes hold of my hips and guides me over to the mirror, turning me so that he's standing behind my frame. the pet name causes me to smile.
"what?" I reference our reflection. he stares at me, reaching around to squeeze my tits.
"I wanna fuck you in the mirror." such a vulgar thing, said so beautifully. he kisses my cheek. "if that's okay with you."
"I don't care what position we do as long as you're fucking me." I breathe honestly. he chuckles and draws me towards him so his clothed boner is against my ass. I reach behind and work the button on his pants. he undoes the ones on his shirt. we're silent, him watching my naked body move like he's trying to memorize every detail.
when he's finally stripped, he lets me stroke his cock for a couple moments before pushing my upper back forward so I'm holding onto the sides of the mirror. I see him biting his lip as he lines himself up at my entrance.
"you ready?" he checks. I nod and he smiles at me once. pushing in, the smile melts into a jaw-dropped haze, eyes rolling into the back of his head. "Y/N..."
"it's so big." I try to breathe. he's so deep, I grip the mirror until my knuckles turn white. he's going to snap my body in two with the angle of his cock, filling me easily.
"tight little thing." he grunts as he holds himself inside. I can only watch in shock as I try to adjust to the sheer feeling of him. Matthew runs his hands over my sides, my ass, touching whatever he can. "how's that?"
I start to wiggle my hips and he groans at the feeling of my walls desperately swallowing him up. "Matthew, I need it."
"need what?" he thrusts into me and I have to fight a scream.
"need you."
"fuck... yes." he hisses out, sliding into me. "you're so wet I don't even need to try."
I bite my lip to withhold my sounds and he stares me in the eyes in the mirror as he starts to fuck me harder, building a pace with his hips. he growls a little if he hits certain angles, getting ruthless.
"so many times when I wanted to be inside you, princess..." he trails off. I start to play with my clit with one hand, using the other to stabilize myself with the mirror. the idea turns me on.
"when?"
"whenever you have attitude," he pants. "tonight, in that innocent fucking dress. making me wanna pound you like a little slut."
I make a high-pitched sound at the shudder of pleasure that jolts through my stomach at his words, wanting more. I've never heard him talk this way before.
"Matthew, shit--" I rub myself in circles, caught between watching his face and watching the way his hips slam into mine.
"you're begging to be fucked, you know that?"
"am I?" I smile sweetly in the mirror. we're in our own world, locked in a fantasy that I never want to leave. I can feel him in every corner of my body, sinking beneath my skin. he digs his nails into my ass.
"mhmm." he hums. I can feel the familiar weight in my stomach that indicates how close I'm getting. a knot that screams to be undone by his perfect length. I would do anything for more of this. I can taste everything good in the world on my tongue.
"I'm so close." I whine.
"I can tell," he studies my face in the mirror. "so pretty when you're breaking."
"oh--" I feel my thighs tense and my body pulses, the euphoria almost overwhelming. we move steadily, rhythmically, and he pushes my climax to new levels. "faster." I cry.
Matthew is quick to respond, gripping me closer while he plows into me like he's never going to have my body again. the sound of it is filthy, perfect, a mess. he groans at the sensation of my cunt pulsating around his cock.
"cum for me, princess." he moans, losing himself in the embrace of my core. the foggy stare in his eyes is like drowning in the ocean. I sink below, not caring at all about the consequences of him inside me. fuck working together; I need him. "where should I cum?"
"in me." I groan.
"beg." he commands easily, watching my face contort in pleasure. I could pretend to fight it, to give a little attitude, but I don't want to. I love begging for him.
"fill me up, Matthew. please." each word punctuated by the breathlessness of my voice. he gets even more ferocious with me, beating up my pussy until I'm sure he's going to leave me sore.
"right there, right there," he gasps, hitting the same spot that makes me go cross-eyed. "such a good little slut."
his cum shoots into me, deep and warm and erotically twisted, and I nearly collapse. it feels weird, but so good at the same time. full. he groans out my name and withdraws, quick to grab my shoulders and hold me up as I almost fall. I hadn't realized that most of my body weight was supported purely by his thrusts.
"whoa." he lets out a tired laugh, gentle in his touch. I'm heaving air into my lungs.
"sorry." I apologize, my body unstable.
"are you okay?" he seems genuinely concerned and I nod.
"yeah, I'm fine. just a little overwhelmed."
"here," he scoops me into his arms and brings me over to the old love seat in the dressing room, laying his jacket down before putting me on top of it. "can I get you something?"
"Sprite." I gesture to the glass on the vanity, and he smiles as he goes to get it. I gulp down whatever remains of it. "thanks."
"of course." he keeps glancing at my face and the red marks on my hips where he was clutching me like a lifeline. "I'm sorry."
"what?" I set the cup down. "don't ever be sorry for fucking me like that."
"no, I meant--" he laughs, but then he sees my playful expression and realizes that I'm genuinely alright. I think my legs were asleep.
"you're a saint." I tell him. he frowns and shakes his head bashfully. I'm already getting up and collecting my clothes. "or maybe what we just did prevents you from reaching sainthood. I don't know."
he places his hand on my lower back, kisses my forehead tenderly.
"seriously. you're okay?"
"I'm perfectly fine," I assure him. "but I would be better with a milkshake."
Matthew breaks into a slow grin, staring at me like I've done something miraculous.
"how are you so perfect?"

AOT : HOLIDAY HEADCANONS
Tumblr media
these totally weren’t supposed to go up yesterday ahaha-
P.S: this is my first writing post!! i thought it would be an easier transition by writing hc’s, and i got my friend saniya (@bokesaniyaboke) to help me out with writing them, so i hope y’all enjoy :) (enjoy our 2 am chaos-)
i have more writing planned for the future too, and decided that i’ll be writing for:
- attack on titan
- bungou stray dogs
- free!
- fugou keiji: balance unlimited.
don’t be shy to send in your requests, i’m more than happy to do them ;)
anyways, i hope you guys enjoy, let me know if you want more! and to those of you that celebrated, hope you had a merry Christmas :)
LEVI
Decorating the house with him!! Except he’d be trying to get out of doing it at first lol
He’d be pissed about the mess that would come with decorating the house
But if you keep pestering him enough he’ll eventually give in lol
He’d be very meticulous about which decorations go where, but you’re just gonna have to put up with that
Pls don’t complain too much, he really wouldn’t be doing it with anyone else
(in the words of saniya: “ur the only exception be happy about that)
Idk why but i feel like he’d be really good at hanging up the lights?? With the placement and whatnot?
He probably has a very keen aesthetic eye i feel like (saniya: “pinterest but as a person vibes”)
At the end of it, while y’all are sitting on the couch drinking some tea, he quietly mumbles how he likes the work you two did
But you felt like teasing him and he got all huffy and said it louder, obviously calling you a brat right after cuz why wouldn’t he
EREN
Ask him to make gingerbread houses!! pls he’d be so excited about it
He’d even go to the store himself and get all the supplies on his way home and you both wouldn’t waste a minute to start a baby
Look he’d start getting competitive (pls we all know how he is) and would turn it into a competition so be prepared for that lol
But when his gingerbread house falls over he starts getting angry
Proceeds to drive to the company’s factory to break it down in his titan form (there’s no stopping him now)
Gets Armin to join him and they smash the houses in their titan forms together LMFAOFNDND PLEASE IM WHEEZING-
But for real, he’d probably get pouty, and turn into a whiny baby
Don’t call him out on it though he’ll just get even worse lol
Shower him with kisses right after and he’ll be blushy but he’s fine dw about it
He’ll get over himself eventually and then proceed to ask with a boyish grin on his face if you wanna give up and just eat the houses as they are
Y’all end up with stomach aches but it’s fine he makes it a little more bearable :))
MIKASA
Making ornaments (pls it’d be so cutenjdjn)
Saniya: “she would stab me with an ornament and i’d say thank you”
Comfortable silence with a little chatter here and there
Every now and then she rests her head on your shoulder (softie)
Just like Armin, getting super flustered and blushy when you compliment her
She helps hang the ornaments onto the tree and the tree turns out to look so pretty
Would take your hand and sit the two of you on the couch and just admire the tree in silence
It’s so comforting you slowly feel like you’re about to fall asleep
Make her some hot chocolate pls all she really wants is to cherish this atmosphere the two of you have created, all huddled up on the couch together
She’d totally fall asleep cause the girl’s always working in overdrive pls does she even sleep-
Make sure she’s warm alright?? If u don’t i’ll stab you ;)
JEAN
Watches hallmark movies with you, only to make fun of them (romance at it’s finest amirite)
Popcorn fights while watching them
Will get mad when you see a horse and say “look it’s you horse face”
He says the dumbest pick up lines during the movie as an attempt to impress you
“hey y/n, can i have your picture so i can show santa what i want for christmas?”
“jean, we’re literally dating-”
Something romantic will happen in the movie and Jean will continuously ask you to recreate that scene. “y/n can we-“ “if your about to ask me if you can spin me whilst ice skating, then no” “aw :(“
Oh to be spun by jean while ice skating- but that’s not the point
Wrap him up in a blanket while watching the movies, he’ll melt
Call him out on it and he’ll turn into ereh 2.0 (aka another whiny baby)
Jkjk but he’ll definitely try to deny it cuz u know he’s a “biG oL maNLy maN” but he’s a softie ;)
ARMIN
Making holiday cards with him
When you bring up the idea his face lights up instantly it’s the cutest thing omg
I can see him bringing his own supplies to help with getting started
Envelopes, letter paper, markers. Hell, he’ll show up with glitter markers (those things are god-tier istg-)
he gets super flustered and red when you compliment his card
SUCH A CREATIVE BOI
If you mess up on your card he’s totally gonna be there to cheer you up!!
“Hey don’t worry, you can just start on a new one :D”
He probably won’t ask but he lowkey wants the card you messed up on cuz he thinks it’s cute
Makes cards for everyone and then takes you with him to deliver them
Would be really shy at the post office cuz he’s never done this before
*cue you falling even more head over heels for him because he’s just so?? endearing?? it’s insane??*
Eventually, he gets the hang of it and ends up having a really fun time :D
Let him be the one to place the stamps on the envelopes, it’s ~therapeutic~ for him
Overall, he’s probably the best person if you wanna use this as a healing opportunity tbh, the entire day is just filled with the calmest atmosphere one could wish for, and the smiles never leave your faces, even after you’ve finished
CONNIE
Snowball fights w/ our resident baldy jKJKJK
Pls you wouldn’t even plan for it to happen
It just kinda,, did,,
Y’all we’re walking through the park, on your way back from lunch or something
But you decided to make a pit-stop at the park cuz you saw an ice cream truck (do y’all know how rare those are in winter?? I’d be running to get to it pls i have no self-control)
Anyways, other ppl had the same idea, so now y’all were standing in line waiting
As he was looking around, his eyes landed on some other kids throwing snowballs at each other, and ideas started forming in his head uh oh-
And there just so happened to be a pile of snow right next to his feet-
Y’all can probably guess what happened-
“Hey y/n” “yeah-?” *throws it right at your face*
And so the war begins
Two words: S N O W  F O R T S. pls ppl would be concerned as they walked by and saw y’all just trying to fucking PUMMEL each other (sounds like fun tho i wanna do it now :( haven’t done it in years pls-)
But you have to stop it before one of you gets hypothermia considering how long y’all have been going at it
Anyways, he’ll buy you a hot chocolate to make up for making you frozen to the bone dw :)
SASHA
Popcorn and cranberry garland
Look away for one second and the popcorn is gone but you don’t really mind
Make sure to bring a second batch of the popcorn because the first one WILL be gone
(maybe even a third stashed away-)
She’s really excited about it tho!! But didn’t expect it to take so long omg
I imagine her to be really clumsy while making them, so pull a move straight out of a cheesy romance movie and help her out while holding her hands ;)
She probably won’t notice what’s going on for a good minute tho
Pls be patient she’s doing her best 😔🤚🏻
But once she does she has the cutest blush on her face pls (i just love her a lot can y’all tell-)
She’ll eventually get the hang of it and you both make really pretty garlands!!
She suggests hanging it up in the bathroom as a snack pls-
HANJI
Caroling with them omfg-
It’s gonna be chaotic
The neighbors hate y’all but its fine
Look man if ur like me and can’t handle people being loud all the time bring earplugs cuz it’s gonna get L O U D
But if you tell them that their screeching is giving you a headache they’ll absolutely tone it down!!
But don’t be surprised when they inevitably forget about that-
But if you're more energetic than I am then have at it ;)
Pls me and my lazy ass could never handle that-
Anyways when y’all reach the houses where they refuse to open the door?? Hanji’s breaking that shit down and hollering into their house at the top of their lungs
Ur literally gonna have to drag them away before someone calls the cops
Moblit pls get over here and collect them I’m begging u dude-
Don’t be surprised if y’all spend the night in jail that’s just how it’s gonna be oops

headcanons under the cut !
so
after steve broke everyone out of the raft you were all on the run for a while
vision and natasha joined you all at some point, and scott and clint returned home to their families
after a while wanda and vision decided to stay in scotland, leaving you with sam, nat, and steve
you were not a huge fan of the idea of leaving her behind
you had already lost your parents and pietro and even though she wasn’t dead you still wouldn’t be able to see her
but you knew why she did what she did
fast forward a little bit
you find out that tony went missing
and then that wanda and vision are being attacked
so u all fly to scotland to help them
*insert u being a badass and beating the shit out of an alien*
finally reuniting w your sister
there were tears
when you arrived back at the compound it was like a breath of fresh air after so long
it’s a shame you weren’t there under better circumstances
immediately getting upset when you saw the hologram of ross
that motherfucker
anyways
going to wakanda was an.... interesting experience
you wanted to enjoy it
but considering why you were there,,,,,,
it was kinda hard to enjoy it lol
wanda ofc stayed up in the lab with vision and shuri
she wanted you to stay up there as well so she could keep an eye on you
she was very hesitant to let you go into the front lines of the battle
even though you were an adult now you were still her little sibling and she was worried for you
you assured her that you would be fine though
fine might be pushing it but
let’s be realistic here
you kicked some alien ass down there
taking out enemy after enemy with no hesitation
pretty impressive tbh. ur fucking awesome
ily
anyways
eventually wanda came down to join the battle
the two of you fought alongside each other
badass sibling duo ugh yes
but then
you had to go against thanos himself
ugly ass mf
you tried to use your magic to remove his gauntlet
you were unsuccessful
he kinda tossed you to the side like a rag doll
which hurt like a bitch
when he snapped you had no idea what tf to do
i mean you had just lost, what were you supposed to do?
you were in the middle of crawling over to wanda, wanting to try to comfort her over the loss of vision
but then she just kinda, disintegrated?
you were in shock for a minute
but then it hit you
“no, no, no, no, no...”
you started sobbing
now you had officially lost your whole family
after a little bit you made your way over to what was left of the team
you all kinda stood in silence for a little while, just processing everything that had happened
eventually you all returned to the quinjet and flew back home
for the first two-ish weeks after the snap you just locked yourself in your room and refused to leave
though eventually you did leave your room again, though very reluctantly
after three weeks had passed by carol, who you were quite fascinated by, returned to the compound carrying a spaceship with her
turns out tony was on said ship
you were glad to see him after so long
and now we jump to going to space to beat thanos’ ass (a g a i n)
you had never been to space before so it was quite a new experience
shame it was under such poor circumstances
when you arrived at thanos’ residence you were out for blood
he took your last remaining family and you were not in the mood to let him get away with it
and then you found out the stones were gone
and everything he had done couldn’t or so you thought be reversed
you were already ready to kill thanos before, but especially now that that was revealed
sadly though, thor took the responsibility of killing the titan himself
*5 years later*
you were 23 now
a whole ass adult
you still lived at the compound with natasha, not exactly having anywhere else to go
not like you would’ve left anyways but
nat had become your sort of support system over the last few years
after all, at this point you really only had each other
all of the rest of the remaining team went their separate ways, none of which deciding to stay with the two of you
one day though steve comes by
you were glad to see him, you had missed him a lot since he left
the three of you had a not-so-positive conversation and then out of nowhere scott appears at the front gate
he tells you his insane idea of using the quantum realm to time travel back to before thanos
you were very wary
you didn’t exactly have a lot of knowledge on the quantum realm but you could still tell that it seemed risky
the four of you went to tony’s house to try to convince him
he almost immediately said no
yikes
you all tried to convince him but to no avail
so you went to bruce hulk instead
bruce?? hulk?? who tf is he tbh
but anywho
when you saw him you were kinda like ????????
but chose to ignore it
you got him to agree to the time travel thing
and it was ?somewhat? successful
somewhat is pushing it tbh
scott became a baby which wasn’t great
but then tony showed up and fixed it like the genius he is
you helped recruit all the remaining avengers to help w the whole time travel thing
you were going to go back in time and get the stones before thanos could
you went with clint and natasha to vormir
you thought it made the most sense for you to sacrifice yourself
after all you weren’t even positive this whole thing with the stones would work, and you couldn’t risk continuing to live a life without wanda and the rest of the team
they stopped you before you could jump though
when natasha dropped you swore your heart stopped beating
she had been all you had for the past 5 years and then she was just gone
you ended up getting the soul stone but at what cost
you and clint returned to the compound and there was a small ‘memorial’ (for lack of a better word) for natasha
after that tony put all of the stones together into a makeshift gauntlet
after a little bit of deliberation it was decided that bruce would be the one to snap his fingers
bruce, hulk, whatever tf
brulk
LMFAO
sorry back to the headcanons LOL
he snapped
immediately everything felt different
you went out to look out a window, seeing a few butterflies fluttering around that you knew weren’t there before
a smile immediately took over ur face
“hey guys, i think it worked!” - you
you were about to turn around and walk back to everyone else
but then
you saw a large ship in the distance
and something began flying toward the compound
and then everything went dark
when you woke up again you were buried under a bunch of rubble
which bruce picked up off of you
you ran out to where thor, tony, and steve were
you saw thanos and froze
they were engaged in a battle and you tried to keep your distance in order to collect yourself for a moment
which proved to be futile because you were dragged into the fight not long after
you kinda got your ass handed to you
it wasn’t pretty
you were lying on the ground when all of a sudden you saw orange light surrounding you
you looked up to see portals opening, all your allies who you had thought to be dead stepping out
you saw wanda and you stopped breathing for a moment
you got up as quick as you could
which proved to be difficult due to ur injuries and overall extreme fatigue
you launched yourself at her, bringing her into the tightest hug you could muster
the two of you held onto each other for a moment before you had to return to fighting
maximoff sibling teamup part 2???? yeah most definitely
fast forward to after thanos and his bitch ass army lost (im sorry i just really dont have the energy to write all that rn)
and to after tony’s funeral
you and wanda had a l o t of catching up to do
like
5 years worth LOL
u had to comfort her over vision’s death a lot
considering that to her, that was still only a couple days ago
and a lot of the time when you two talked the mood was kinda depressing, all things considered
but you still tried to keep it lighthearted
for example
your absolute favorite thing in the world was the fact that you were now older than her due to the snap, 3 years older to be exact
you held it over her all the time, constantly making fun of her for it
all in good fun of course
something wanda really loved was when you would tell her stories from when she was in the soul world (only happy ones ofc)
though it made her sad that you had to go so long without her, and she missed out on so much
she wanted to know what she had missed
all in all
you two were incredibly close, the snap and its aftermath only further confirming that
sibling goals tbh
a/n #2: aaaaaa im sorry to end it on that note (i didnt know how to end it im sorry asf) but yeah </3 and once again, so sorry this took me so long to post, ive been super busy with school && life in general so i just havent gotten around to it :( butttttttttttt if u guys want i could try to continue this series of headcanons for wandavision?? i’d wait until friday ofc for the final episode and id spoiler tag it and everything but i could try my best? might be kinda difficult but i think it could be fun so if anyone wants that then lmk!! :)

LwD 2.05: An Embarrassment of Dooplers
Tumblr media
So I was a little nervous about this one! I hadn’t heard any spoiler-spoilers, but screeners have been out for weeks now, and I’d heard a bunch of individual, vague, non-spoilery hints about (1) big character moments, on the scale of a mid-season finale even though the show’s not taking a mid-season break; and (2) an ending that would make me cry.
I guess I imagined something relatively serious and dramatic, like “No Small Parts”? This show makes me cackle with laughter and giggle with nerdy glee and “d’awww!” at heartwarming friendships every week, but it’s only ever made me cry once—and then I was impressed that they were going to get there from the wacky hijinks we saw in the brief teaser.
The lack of a cold open made me apprehensive too—in my experience, that’s typically a sign that there’s so much plot in the rest of the episode that they need that extra scene—but after ~21.5 minutes of aforementioned hijinks, I was having so much fun that I’d completely forgotten about the alleged tear-jerker at the end…
…and they were not the tears I was expecting.
I didn’t think I’d be smiling and crying!!!! That was wholesome as SHIT!!!!!
Tumblr media
I almost can’t believe they earned that—but they totally did.
After a Mariner–Tendi episode and a Boimler–Rutherford episode, we’re back to the “usual” Season 1 pairings… except the relationships between these characters have changed since Season 1. Mariner still feels thwacked in the abandonment issues by Boimler bailing for the Titan, and Rutherford’s having a tiny little existential crisis about losing an entire year of his life.
Both of which are extremely understandable and very heavy situations—and both of those situations get resolved because everyone in them is vulnerable with each other and honest about their feelings—AND that honesty and vulnerability brings both pairs of friends closer together. Are you kidding me?? I would watch SEVENTY seasons of that shit. Put it in my veins.

Onto the notes:
So basically Dooplers are Tribbles, but for cringe comedy instead of slapstick? Ohhhhh boy.
Look at Ransom the diplomat, tossing his own fork on the floor! I like that he’s actually a pretty competent Starfleet officer, despite also being a completely ridiculous person.
Wait a second, is that—OH HOLY SHIT, THE DOOPLERS ARE VOICED BY RICHARD KIND.
It makes sense that B. Boimler would find William annoying—who likes seeing their own flaws reflected back at them? And who could be a better reflection of one’s flaws than one’s literal duplicate?—but most interesting to me is that it implies on some level, Bradward knows the stick up his butt is a flaw. (Does William?)
Why does the Cerritos model have working phasers?!?!
I’m loving hot pink as the currently en-vogue colour for “dangerous sci-fi energy” in animation (cf. almost every previous episode of this show; Into the Spider-Verse; other stuff I can’t remember right now). As a former child of the 80’s, I’m living for it… but as a former teenager of the 90’s, I can’t help but wonder if it’s going to age as poorly as the harsh neon green of The Matrix, every Borg appearance on Voyager, and like 80% of the websites I made in high school…
SKANTS! SKANTS! SKANTS!
That fake-out joke with the fly-by over the Cerritos model was in the season trailer weeks ago, and I was so enthralled by that handsome lady that the sticker coming into frame still got me good 😂😂😂
BECKY Mariner????? omg yes
Some top-quality Boimler screams in this one. Poor Jack Quaid must drink gallons of throat-coat tea when he records.
Tumblr media
One of the great things about Star Trek to me is that you never know what you’re going to get from any random episode. A murder mystery? A road trip? A spooky thriller? A cheesy romance? Broad comedy? Body horror? Didactic political screeds shrouded in tissue-thin science-fiction metaphors? Brain and brain, what is brain??? And after this many years of watching, you’d think I’d be hard to surprise. But if I ever told you I thought I’d see a Blues Brothers–style car chase through a frickin’ shopping mall on an episode of Star Trek, I would have been straight-up lying to you. I loved it, it worked for me, my jaw was on the floor and I was clapping with joy—but I’m definitely comfortable calling this one “unexpected.”
Tumblr media
It’s CAPTAIN SHELBY!!! And an ancient babydyke crush rose from the depths of my childhood subconscious… (Also I think her Number One is based on the original makeup—eventually deemed too complicated—for Saru? Now that’s a deep cut.)
Tumblr media
In 20th-century Trek, you almost never got to see what was going on inside a starship from the outside. Even after they switched from physical models (where it was next to impossible on a single episode’s budget) to CGI (which was still in its infancy, still not exactly cheap, and still broadcast in SD anyway), it was a rare thrill to see any meaningful interior details in an exterior shot. Disco’s modern VFX have given us some tasty, tasty treats in that department, but nothing quite as sublime as all the pink Doopler light glittering through the Cerritos’s windows.
Tumblr media
Mariner says she’ll take her contact Malvus down with her, and threatens that they’ll end up “in the same cell.” Malvus is a Mizarian, a species introduced in TNG’s “Allegiance,” in which Captain Picard is held in a mysterious prison with one. I think I see what you did there, McMahan?
Bartender… so hot… lesbian circuits… overloading…
The Tendi and Rutherford C-story was, well, a C-story within a 22-minute episode, so there wasn’t much to it, but the one scene that mattered actually mattered a lot. I’m ambivalent on whether they should end up romantically involved—I’d prefer they don’t, but they’ll be one of the cutest couples in Trek history if they do—and as long as they keep that pure, sweet friendship between them at the heart of whatever else happens, I’m on board.
Carol Freeman was already one of my favourite captains before this season, and she’s been steadily moving up the list. The quiet throughline about her ambition to be on a better ship has been fascinating so far, and it’s starting to actually make me feel a little conflicted: I’m of course rooting for Captain Freeman to recognize her worth, make Starfleet recognize her worth, and become the ass-kicking captain of a hero ship that she’s clearly ready to be—but that almost surely means she’d be kicking ass off-screen, because LwD isn’t about those kind of adventures, and I’d be devastated not to have Dawnn Lewis on the show every week. So I’m kind of on the edge of my seat about this one!
I had so many favourite jokes this week I put them in a separate list:
“Even the replicated water on the Titan tasted better” is a low-key brilliant dunk on people who can’t shut the fuck up about the cooler places they used to live.
“Ooooh, they have a Quark’s now! That used to just be an empty lot where teens would make mistakes!” ← That’s literally me every time I go back to where I grew up. I felt so Seen™ I almost hid under a blanket.
“I would never go down the stairs!” (evil grin) (goes up the stairs)
The “well, shit” expressions from Mariner and Boimler as their crashed car sank right into the water… which started to bubble innocuously… and then the bottles of Data bubble-bath popped up, paying off a joke I thought had already been paid off—that was the one that woke up my poor cat this week. Just exquisite timing.
“YOUR PAGH IS WEAK, AND IT DISGUSTS ME!” “I don’t even know what that is, but I don’t like your tone!”
“Okona’s in there? He’s not even Starfleet! This is outrageous!” made me shout “NO!” at the screen like I was scolding my cat for scratching furniture. (She did not wake up that time.)
Best background joke: the neon sign at the dive bar advertising FREE SHOTS & BEERS. (Get it? Because they’re on a Federation starbase? Where nobody uses money?)
And of course Quark merchandised DS9.
Tumblr media
This wasn’t just a standout episode of Lower Decks, this was a brilliant episode of Star Trek, period. The Dooplers, though extremely silly, are nevertheless also a clever sci-fi metaphor for real and relatable personal/interpersonal issues, and an effective plot catalyst for meaningful character growth from all four of our ensigns and the captain.
The jokes were hilarious, the action was kinetic, the A-, B-, and C-plots linked up thematically, the visuals were consistently and thoroughly gorgeous, the character beats—between Mariner and Boimler, Tendi and Rutherford, Mariner and Capt. Freeman—were all genuine, heartfelt and wholesome, and the references to other Trek canon were both deep and deeply affectionate.
Only 15 episodes in, and this series knows exactly what it is, exactly what it wants to do, and knows that it can knock our socks off doing it. Mike McMahan has said in recent interviews that the back half of S2 (and the apparently almost-fully-written S3) is a straight line uphill in quality from here—which surprised me at first, because McMahan seems like a pretty chill dude who doesn’t normally brag about his own work like that.
But then the Prophets sent me a vision of my space dad Ben Sisko, who reminded me of the words of 1930’s baseball player Dizzy Dean:
“If you can do it, it ain’t bragging.”
[Thanks to cygnus-x1.net for the screenshots this week—I was too lazy to do my own.]

I SKWKWJWJWK listen i know this isnt yandere content, but cooking together with ur s/o is probably my dream date and thats where i got this!!!
How Each Avenger Cooks For You 👩‍🍳:
loki, stephen, nat: these bitches show off every time they enter the kitchen. they like impressing you, but they’re super nonchalant about it and ur not allowed to help. they flip their knives, throw the ingredients, slice stuff in the air, do that fire pan flip thing...basically it’s organized chaos. a lot of fire too like... a lot. ur impressed, but don’t think it’s all show. the food is literally amazing. they basically cook like those fancy chefs in 5-star restaurants. (loki doing his iconic knife flips in the middle of ur kitchen and ur like um dangerous but cool!)
carol, tony, wanda: these heroes do all this impressive stuff, but cannot cook for sHIT. they don’t follow recipes because “recipes are for sheeples” and they’re fucking LEADERS....right... anyway, they wont let you help fix the food and yall end up ordering takeout. in the end, it looks gorgeous but tastes like ass, or it looks and tastes like shit. either way, they cannot cook, but they can put on a show! (i hc that carol cant cook for shit and tony literally cant take care of himself, so theres no way he knows how to cook properly)
bucky, steve, clint: home-cookers. they make homemade food, gives me very much housewife vibes. they dont put on shows, but cooks like a normal person. it honestly doesnt matter if u help them or not, the entire process is very wholesome and domestic. they dont need recipes because the recipes are probably something they learned from their family. there is usually no mess, but if there is, they clean up and make sure everything looks exactly how it looked before or cleaner! (pre-serum steve cooked healthy food often because yk...hes a growing boy and post-hydra bucky learned how to cook from steve. it calms him)
thor, peter: although they grew up very different and thor and peter seem like they would absolutely destroy a kitchen and not make anything edible, thats actually not true. thor was dropped in midgard for being a brat, so there’s no way he wouldnt know how to cook, but he only knows how to cook simple meals like eggs or...coffee. and, yes, peter is a hot mess like the rest of us, but he still knows how to make basic meals like pasta, eggs, and whatever. peter’s only had May and when she’s busy, he has to make sure he can cook! they both have their own little piece of paper with recipes and directions, so they don’t forget and you like to watch as they squint their eyes as they read their tiny notecard and look around for everything (there is no way in hell, jane didnt teach thor basic human skills during his time with her)
bruce, vision, t’challa: they dont know how to cook. vision doesnt need food, t’challa is a king, so he has people to cook for him, and bruce’s daily sustenance is takeout from fast food places near his apartment. so when ur like “lets cook at home!” theyre like “....what” so when u ask abt their cooking skills, theyre gonna try and prove that they can cook. these three follows the recipe down to the fucking teaspoons of salt, but STILL somehow manage to make the worst thing youve ever tasted. you’d watch and be like “woah ur doing pretty good!”, but you’ll eat it and go “...hoW TF?!??” theyre gonna stare at u like actual puppies as u eat it, so you have to pretend to like it (you’ll have to give in tho or you’ll get food poisoning, but they wont be hurt just upset that it went wrong. they’ll keep practicing till they get it right, so u become the official tastetester)
scott, sam: everyday is adventure with these two. scott and sam are okay cooks, but amazing company. their slogan is “its not the destination, but the journey”. sure the food is a little burnt and wayy too salty, but you guys had fun cooking together. cracking jokes, talking about your childhood, making animal shapes out of the vegetables, throwing knives into the ceiling...yeah, you probably werent too happy with that one. they both have one braincell, so they saw knife, they throw! you kick them out of the kitchen after that. (scott and sam are avid sitcom/rom-com watchers, so they obviously watch new girl, which then inspired the throwing knives at the ceiling)
