The Weasely Family Cast
Everybody's talking about the Harry Potter reboot but you know what I really want to see in it?
An Indian Weasely Family. The Weasely family being wholesome, sweet, and absolutely chaotic. Fred and George up to no good. Charlie being the revolutionary rebel. Bill just being a loving brother and silently causing chaos and blaming it on Fred and George. Percy being Percy but occasionally joining in the fun. Ginny being teased by her brothers and fighting with them and being spoiled by them. Ron looking up to his brothers who are always there for him. Their sibling bond being chaotic and fun but at the end of the day, they are always there for each other.
I want Molly and Arthur being couple goals. Molly cooking dinner and Arthur coming home to her with groceries. Molly scolding the children strictly and Arthur just nodding in the background agreeing with her. Molly and Arthur hugging and kissing and cuddles their children and giving them the best they can.
They might not be the richest family but their home is filled with love, forgiveness, happiness, warmth, acceptance and laughter.
Let me dream of a universe where the below casting is actually possible.
Ron Weasley - Ali Hadji-Heshmati
And what if I wave my wand and nothing happens?”
“Throw it away and punch him on the nose," Ron suggested.
Tumblr media
Ginny Weasely - Mandip Gill
"Well, that was a bit stupid of you, seeing as you don't know anyone but me who's been possessed by You-Know-Who."
Tumblr media
Bill Weasely - Sacha Dhawan
Bill was — there was no other word for it — cool. He was tall, with long hair that he had tied back in a ponytail. He was wearing an earring with what looked like a fang dangling from it. Bill’s clothes would not have looked out of place at a rock concert, except that Harry recognized his boots to be made, not of leather, but of dragon hide.
Tumblr media
Charlie Weasely - Vihaan Samat
‘How’re you doing, Harry?’ said the nearer of the two, grinning at him and holding out a large hand, which Harry shook, feeling calluses and blisters under his fingers. This had to be Charlie, who worked with dragons in Romania. Charlie was built like the twins, shorter and stockier than Percy and Ron, who were both long and lanky. He had a broad, good-natured face, which was weather-beaten and so freckly that he looked almost tanned; his arms were muscly, and one of them had a large, shiny burn on it.
Tumblr media
Percy Weasely - Dev Patel
"Hello, Minister!" bellowed Percy, sending a neat jinx straight at Thicknesse, who dropped his wand and clawed at the front of his robes, apparently in awful discomfort. "Did I mention I'm resigning?"
Tumblr media
Fred and George Weasely - Kanan Gill and Biswa Kalyan Rath or Kanan Gill and Kenny Sebastian (I know that they aren't identical but they just give me Fred and George vibes)
"Oh, are you a prefect, Percy?" said one of the twins, with an air of great surprise. "You should have said something, we had no idea."
"Hang on, I think I remember him saying something about it," said the other twin. "Once-"
"Or twice-"
"A minute-"
"All summer-"
"Oh, shut up," said Percy the Prefect.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Molly Weasely and Arthur Weasely - Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan
"...your father and I were made for each other, what was the point in waiting?"

Hey can you please write a Victor krum story with a shy fem reader (reader is a weasley)! And her brothers find out about her and krum and they get over protective!! Thank you so much I love your work!
Tumblr media
Yes! Of course, I really like this request actually! I think Krum is actually really sweet I’m even though he doesn’t seem like it!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hermione and Y/n giggled as they read the letter Krum had sent the girl. He explained how he thought she was so beautiful and if she wanted to go to the ball with him.
The two had been seeing each other for a while now and Y/n was so happy he asked her out. “That is so sweet! you have to say yes!” Hermione said excitedly and the girl nodded. “Of course I’m saying yes, I’ve been waiting for this ever since our kiss two days ago, I really hoped her ask me out.” She said and Hermione squealed.
“You are not to tell Ron and the twins though, they’d kill him.” Ginny said from behind them as she leaned on the common room couch. “Obviously we aren’t telling them anything, they’d ruin it all.” Hermione rolled her eyes in annoyance.
“Not tell us what?” Ron asked as he, Harry and the twins walked in. “None of your business.” Y/n grumbled and folded the letter. “Now, now little sister, don’t be mean, tell us what’s going on.” George grinned.
“Shove off, you three.” Ginny said as she pushed Ron who came to stand next to her away. “Hey stop that! I am just standing.” He said annoyed.
“Oh, look at this, it wouldn’t have to do anything with what you aren’t telling us, does it?” Fred suddenly fished the letter out of Y/n’s hands and she gasped and tried to grab it back but George held her back.
Fred then proceeded to dramatically read the letter and the boys chuckled a bit Ginny tried grabbing it from him but he stepped out of the way and held it out of her reach.
“Such an adorable letter.” Fred teased. “Now let’s see who sent you this.” He grinned and looked at the name, his smile immediately dropping. “Krum? Bloody Krum sent you this?” He asked pointing the letter at her accusingly.
“Yeah? So what?” She said annoyed and grappled the letter away from his hands. “Obviously she’s going to say no!” Ron said. “You are right?” He turned to her.
“No! No I won’t say no! I will accept if of course! He’s really sweet.” She sis sand the three huffed and rolled their eyes. “Krum? He’s the opposite of sweet, besides, he’s the enemy.” George bellowed.
The three girls huffed and ignored them, heading to their dorms, Ginny joining Hermione and Y/n in their dorm.
“They are such morons, they can’t tell me what to do!” The girl said angrily. “Just ignore them, we’re going dress shopping tomorrow, and we won’t talk to them till they apologise!” Ginny said and the other two agreed.
So that’s what they did, they ignored the boys, except for Harry, as he didn’t really mind at all. They went dress shopping, Hermione got a beautiful blue gown, Ginny a green one with pink ribbons and Y/n got a long red dress along with a new pair of red earrings.
Later that day, Ron approached and they walked past him and didn’t say anything. He called after them but they just ignored it again.
The night of the ball, the three had gotten ready together, helping each other with make up and hair. They looked beautiful to say the least. Ginny was going with Neville and Hermione- who had broke and talked to Ron again, went with him, after he had cowardly asked her.
The girls walked down the stairs and many stared as they headed for their dates. “Y/n.” Krum greeted with his Bulgarian accent, making her name sound rather weird, but she didn’t mind. “Victor.” She greeted back.
He kissed her hand like a true gentle man and she giggled, making him smile. Putting a gentle hand on her waist, they walked to McGonagall who was gathering the champions and their dates.
Soon, the five champions opened the dance, Y/n had gotten way to much practice from her mother when she was younger, and Krum, somehow was a very good dancer.
As they danced, they suddenly heard yelling. “I see where that hand is, Krum! Not to low aye!” It was Fred and Y/n’s cheeks burned with embarrassment. “If you try anything I will hex you!” George’s voice sounded.
“We know lots of hexes! You probably wouldn’t be able to handle the second task after!” Fred agreed and their two little sisters glared at them and McGonagall had to shush them.
After the opening dance, the real party began and the students all danced and had fun. Krum twirled her around when suddenly she was pulled away. “If you don’t mind, we need to have a brother sister dance.” Fred said and took his sister away. She broke away from him and hit his shoulder.
“Stop being an arse!” She said annoyed. “I am protecting you!” He said and she rolled her eyes. “No, you’re being annoying, leave me alone, let me have fun for once.” She said and headed back for Krum.
“I’m so sorry about that.” She said and he smiled. “It is alright.” He said and they continued their night.
“Hey, Y/n, can I speak to you for a moment?” Ron’s voice sounded and she turned to him. “I swear to Merlin Ron, if you do not go back to Hermione I will hex you to the next century.” She said angrily and he ran off.
It had been the third time that night that he had come to interrupt them and she was so done with it.
When the night ended, he thanked her for the time they had. “I would like to show you Bulgaria some time when the tournament is over.” He said and her smile grew. “I would love that!” She said excitedly.
“That is great!” He beamed at her when the shrill voice of Karkaroff interrupted them and he looked rather annoyed. “Krum? Are you coming? We need to get back to the ship.” He said and he called back that he would be there.
“I will see you tomorrow?” He asked and she nodded. “Yeah, see you tomorrow.” She nodded. He leaned forward and kissed her. She smiled and kissed him back, feeling her cheeks flush.
“Goodnight.” He said when they pulled apart. With a last kiss on her cheek he left making her breath a laugh at the amazing night she just had. Yeah, run off back to your ship.” She turned around annoyed at her three brothers. “Can you not be so annoying?” She asked and they grumbled some things under their breath.
“He kissed you! That’s disgusting!” Ron said and Hermione, who just arrived shoved him angrily. “Leave her alone, Ron, she’s just had her first date!” The girl said angrily.
“What’s with you guys pushing me the whole time!” Ron then complained, and just like that, the topic changed and they left her alone about Krum.

HOW COME?
Pairings: Fred Weasley x Fem!reader Summary: you go to the Joke shop and take a look around, not realising one of the owners watching you the whole time Warnings: none?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the shop was filled with kids and their parents, looking at everything that piled the shelves, kids wanting to buy everything and the parents shaking their heads at them. you managed to squeeze through and get some room to breath
they'd only been open for a week and it was this packed, it was an understatement to call this shop a hit.
the fluorescent colours were blinding you as you turned to see a boy, his face turning green with his mum by his side.
you looked around, smiling at every item you see. not knowing you were being watched from the second story of the shop.
you always knew the twins were gonna open a joke shop, but now that you're in it, reality hit you, they had really made their dreams come true. and they were successful.
you were friends of theirs, sort of- you weren't in their group but you three definitely talked quite a bit. if there was a project for potions- they would ask for your help and if you were paired up in transfiguration they would do their part.
you made your way over to the area that was glowing with pink and saw a large stand in the shape of flowers, glowing pink and creating little heart bubbles, it made you smile.
you picked up one of the bottles and read the label. you shook your head with a slight laugh as you read love potion in a pretty font.
"I'll give you a discount for that if you want" you heard his voice from behind you
you turned to see Fred with a smile on his face
"but, then again, it would be a useless purchase" he smirked at you, stepping closer, looking down at you
"how come? do they not work?" you asked curiously
"oh they work perfectly, but you're not gonna need it" he shook his head ammused
"and why is that?" you questioned, tilting your head
truth be told, you always had feelings for the boy, he ticked all your boxes. funny, loyal, tall, confident, passionate and witty.
but he was just so popular and almost every girl you know was swoon over him
"why try to use something when it's already worked without it?" he chuckled.
Fred would be an idiot to deny his feelings for you. he never would've told you this in Hogwarts, he never would've been this straight forward with you about this before, because even THE popular Fred Weasley was self-conscious sometimes.
he sometimes just looked at you and felt as though he wasn't enough, that he couldn't give you what you deserved
but now he was a successful business man, making big bucks. when he saw you enter the shop 10 minutes ago, he knew what he had to do, he knew he could give you anything your heart desired, if you'll have him
"how so? last time i checked I've had no guy chase after me" you laughed, putting the bottle down beside you on the flower stand.
you raised your eyebrows at him, waiting for his response
"who knows, maybe he hasn't been around you for a while, maybe he was waiting for you to come to him" he shrugged confidently.
you knew what he meant, he never failed to make flirtatious comments, so you brushed it off, even though the butterflies made their way to your stomach.
"and who might this young man be? I should probably go find him, I wouldn't want to keep him waiting" you smiled coyly
"I can't remember his name, but I can describe him for you, maybe tell you were he is" he smirked, leaning down
"do tell" you leaned in too, eager to continue and get to the point
"well I heard he has red hair, he's pretty tall too, I heard he's 6'3. he's pretty handsome too, I think you'll like him, he comes from a pretty big family, and I'm pretty sure I see him in the shop everyday" he informed you cheekily
"wow, I never knew George felt that way about me, I should probably go find him" you snickered, looking at his annoyed face. you were only teasing.
"George? that doesn't seem to ring a bell, I'm pretty sure his name started with an F" he rubbed his chin, looking deep in fake thought
"wow" you gasped "you're not implying what I think you are, are you Fred?" you gasp in faux shock
"Fred! that's his name, he sounds dreamy, doesn't he?" he clicked his fingers
"you should see him in person" you chuckled, his smirk dropped and instead, a small smile made it's way onto his lips
"maybe you should go and ask him out, I heard his favourite place is the three broomsticks" he replied joyfully
you hummed, thinking for a second "nah, I'll let him ask me since he's so in love with me"
"I don't know, he might be nervous" he tilted his head
"then you should go tell him he has nothing to be nervous about" you leaned in and whispered to him, as if it was a secret. he smiled and looked at the ground, his tongue running along his upper teeth, tapping the wood of the floor with his boot
"will do" he answered, a sweet grin on his face
"you stay right here, I think I just saw him" he pat your shoulder, stepping away from you before coming back a few seconds later
"hello there" he said happily
"hello Fred, fancy seeing you here!" you beamed
"I know, I thought I'd pop in and see how successful the shop is" he looked around, motioning to all the chaos, making you shake your head in amusement
"it's incredible isn't it? I must say I'm very proud of the two" your comment made him blush slightly, and you could tell it caught him a bit off guard
"so, I don't know if you know this but some handsome young bloke came up to me just then and said you would go on a date with me" he responded
"only if you asked" you blinked
"well then, how would you like to go the three broomsticks with me this weekend, Saturday maybe?" he asked you
"your favourite right?" you raised your eyebrows
he gasped "how'd you know?" he placed a hand over his heart
"lucky guess" you giggled
"so what do you say? will you go out on a date with me? a successful businessman, who is -said to be- very attractive" he question sheepishly
"Saturday?" you asked "I don't know I might be busy-"
"-Sunday?" he cut you off
"I was kidding, Saturday sounds perfect" you grinned up at him
"great, perfect. Meet me here at 11- in the morning, or night, is night better?" he rambled quietly
"11 at night? bit late don't you think?" you questioned
"right yeah, morning is more reasonable" he nodded
"well th-" he started but got cut off by George
"-Fred, I need help!"
Fred looked back at his twin and back at you, sparing a kiss to your cheek
"see you then, Love" he winked before rushing to George

The Best Admirer
Fred! Weasley x GN!Reader
(Friends to lovers <3)
This is a Gender nuetral fic. I have only ever written for Fem! but I tried my best to use language that was GN. Let me know if there is anything I can do to improve!
a/n: Sorry for taking so long with this fic. I wanted to try something different. You and Fred are in your sixth year, also scabbers isn't Petter Pettigrew in this he is just a rat lol. Thank you for all the likes and interactions! I'm glad you all like my content. Feel free to request more Harry Potter fics for any character! As always feel free to interact and comment :) Not proof read!
Summary: You have been receiving letters from a secret admirer for weeks. The only problem is you are in love with Fred Weasley, who acts like you are best buds and nothing more. What happens when the secret admirer decides they are done sending letters and wants to meet in person.
Tumblr media
This is the sixth letter you have received in the last two weeks. Not that you aren't flattered, you just wish that this "secret admirer" would reveal themselves already. You aren't the most patient person, you never have been and all these letters are pushing your curiosity.
The first letter was lovely. You had never had someone pay that much attention to you or at least tell you about it. It made you start questioning who this mystery person was.
"Dear Y/n, A few days ago I saw you sitting in the library, catching up on DADA homework. I have never seen anyone look so ethereal. How can someone look so unearthly, while doing something so mundane? The way you stick your tongue out ever so slightly when you are writing, or when you bite your lip when you are focused on something so intense makes me melt. I've never seen something so perfect. I hope I don't sound creepy, but I wanted to express how amazing you are to me.
Love, your secret admirer."
After the third one, your curiosity increased. You had no clue who it could be. Valentine's Day was coming up and you wondered if your admirer would reveal themselves soon. As selfish as it was you only had one person you hoped this could be.
Fred Weasley
You and Fred have been friends since the first year after he defended you against a seventh-year student who thought it was funny to make fun of your glasses.
Fred has always been a good friend to you. You're close to George as well, but it could never compare to the connection you have with his brother. You and Fred understand each other in a way no one else could. You didn't develop a crush on him until your third year, but ever since then, your feelings have only grown.
It's a cold and wet February day, not that you mind. You've always found comfort in the rain.
You are walking to class with a group of your friends, holding the latest letter in your hand, when you hear distinct laughter behind you.
"OI, BUNNY!" You hear footsteps bounding behind you as you turn around to see Fred and George sharing a wide smile and jogging to catch up to you.
"I'll catch up with you lot later." You wave to your friends as they continue walking to McGonagall's classroom.
"Bunny please tell George that I am your favorite Weasley. He seems to have it in his diluted mind that HE is the favorite and that just cannot be true, can it?" Fred smirks, knowing you would choose him over George any day of the week.
"Hmm, but you aren't." You hold back a smile as Fred's face falls in confusion and George's eyes perk up in interest.
"Yeah, yeah I thought you knew. Scabbers is definitely my favorite Weasley." You say with a smile as you start walking.
Fred's face turns from confusion into full disgust.
"You choose A RAT over ME?? A literal RAT." Fred says sounding appalled, only having to take a few steps until he's beside you, George following suit.
"I don't blame her, he is way less annoying than you" George remarks, a smirk appearing on his face before his brother pushes him into the corridor wall.
"Why do you hurt me so, love?" Fred feigns a frown, clutching his chest as if you've injured him.
"I am sorry darling, how will I ever repay you?" You respond, giggling softly at the boy's overdramatic ways.
"Hmmm, profess your undying love for me and maybe I will forgive you" He spoke with a mischievous grin, dodging your hand barrelling towards him with a laugh.
"In your dreams, Weasley" You retort, rolling your eyes but turning away to hide the blushing smile creeping upon your face.
You, Fred, and George walk to class, lowering your heads as you walk in the classroom trying to be discreet so you don't feel disappointment in Mcgonagals gaze when she sees that you are late as always.
You normally sit with Fred but decided to sit next to Hermione today, you wanted to read the note without Fred questioning what you were doing. You NEEDED to figure out who this mystery person was. It was eating you alive. Fred would just complicate things, he would probably try and read the letter and you did NOT want to explain what was happening. And yes maybe it was because you were secretly hoping it was him, and him seeing the letter and not knowing what it was would ruin that thought for you. So you were keeping it a secret. At least until you figure out who it is.
You kept reading the letters over and over again. You were obsessed at this point. Whoever this was obviously knew you well, they write as if they've known you for a long time. They would add details that you are sure you have only told a few people. They knew your favorite color, flower, and food, they even knew that you preferred to keep your hair long and over your ears because you felt insecure about it. If they weren't so poetic and sweet in their words you would be creeped out but you could tell this person was genuine, just by the way they wrote to you, as if you were someone worth writing for.
The next few days you became distant from everyone around you. You stayed to yourself in class, at the library, in your dorm. You wanted to figure out the letters so you decided the best way to investigate and you needed there to be no distractions. Even though you are an introvert you at least talk to your friends, especially Fred and George. All you could think about though was those stupid letters and who it could possibly be. You ruled out the majority of your friends, as you only have a small group of them.
You begin reading another letter.
"Dear Y/n, I must confess, I've admired you in secret for quite a while now. I've been enchanted by your beauty, intelligence, kindness, and your grace. I am scared you will not look at me the same after finding out who I am. I fear it will affect our connection. I just can't love you in secret anymore. So I have decided to explain how I feel in these letters in the hope you will understand exactly how I feel about you. I am not always great at expressing how I feel out loud so I hope this will make up for it. I admire you for many reasons but here are a few I can point out. I admire the way you carry yourself with such confidence and poise, yet remain humble and kind in your words and actions. Your inner beauty reflects the outer, captivating all who have the privlidge of seeing it. I will reveal myself soon my love. For now, I will continue to send these letters and poems as a reminder that I have loved you before, I will love you now, and I will love you after. With love, your secret admirer."
As you sit by the black lake re-reading the letter in your hands, you are pulled from your thoughts when you hear your name being called in the distance.
"Y/N" You hear, voice loud despite being almost a football field away from you. You know who it is obviously, you could recognize that voice anywhere. George. You slam your book shut, the letter hiding beneath the pages.
As the boy gets closer you wonder what he's doing alone. It's strange to see him without his brother by his side, both walking in sync, talking or laughing about the next prank/invention they are going to whip up. So seeing him walk up alone was very odd.
"Hey bunny, where have you been?" He questions sitting next to you, taking his shoes off making sure not to get dirt on the blanket scrawled out beneath you both. Bunny a nickname given to you by Fred in your first year on the ride to Hogwarts, he told you it's because your eyes and nose reminded him of a bunny and coincidently it is now your patronus.
"Oh you know, just been busy with potions work. Snape has really pilled it on this week, just trying to make sure I stay on track" You say trying not to show the nervousness buried beneath your smile.
"Fred and I could've helped you with that, Snape may be sick of us but we are damn good at potions" He replies with a cocky smirk, not noticing the lie. You're glad Fred isn't here because he would have seen right through you and questioned you until you spilled.
"Did you need something, not that I don't enjoy your company but you came down here with a sort of determination" You laughed softly while speaking, showing your amusement at the ginger's abrupt greeting.
George's face lit up as if he remembered something important and then reached for his pocket.
"Actually yes" He grins while pulling a pink-tinted letter. A letter that looked all too familiar.
Your eyes widened in surprise. What the HELL was George doing with that letter. Your mind raced as you tried to remember if you might've dropped or misplaced one of the letters, but that couldn't be possible since you kept them in your nightstand with an enchanted lock. You tried to hide your horrified expression as you thought just for a second that George was the one who was sending you these letters. Just as you were about to speak he cleared things up.
"I was told to give this to you, urgent matter" He wiggled his eyebrows while handing it to you, a boyish grin on his face the whole time.
You took the letter with hesitation staring at it, then looking back at George dumbfounded.
"Who gave this to you?" You questioned, shaking the letter with your hand.
"You'll just have to read it and find out I guess" He answered, not giving you much before standing up and placing his shoes back on his feet. Not before you see the small grin that he is obviously trying to hide.
You sit there watching him walk away, not knowing what to think you open the letter placed in your hand.
" Dear Y/n, Hello love, I hope you are well on this beautiful day. By the time you read this letter, I will be preparing. I have sent George to find you and give you this letter for a very special reason. If you want to meet me and know who I am, I will be at the astronomy tower tonight waiting for you. Meet me there at 9 o'clock tonight, bring your wand ;) Love, your secret admirer."
He wants to meet, tonight.
You look up to see the sun setting behind the water and realize it is time for dinner.
You immediately get up and flick your wand, effectively clearing your area of the lawn and packing up your things neatly into your bag. You snatch the bag and run to the castle.
You sit down next to Fred, he looks up at you with a smile. You realize you've been ignoring him for the past couple of weeks. You've been so busy with these letters you haven't even been sitting with him at dinner, as you normally always do.
"Oi Bunny, finally decided to sit next to me have you?" Fred says in a fake annoyed tone, not hiding the smile on his face when you look at him with guilt.
"Don't act as if you haven't missed me dearly darling" You speak, falling back into the playful banter you're used to.
"I'm not acting anything, love. I can't believe you left me with the kids, I've had to get a second job to pull the load" He fake sobs putting his face into his hands.
You rub his back laughing "Oh I am so sorry, honey. I'll buy you a new broom to make up for it."
His head shoots up with a smile "All is forgiven, buttercup"
You both laugh as George and Lee look between the two of you with confusion on their faces.
"You lot are so odd," George says laughing.
You enjoy the rest of dinner throwing banter with your friends, soaking in the time spent with them. You didn't realize how much you missed them until now. You wanted to enjoy this before you met your mystery person tonight.
You didn't realize you were staring at Fred the whole dinner until he looked at you and asked if there was something on his face. You responded by tucking your face away as it turned beet red.
"What should I wear? What if this is a prank? What if it's a first year or something?? Oh god, was I too nice to that one Ravenclaw in the great hall last month when he spilled milk on himself and I helped him clean it up???" You rant, pacing back and forth in your dorm.
Your friend who was sitting on the bed in front of you stands up grabbing your shoulders.
"Calm down! Breath!" they say shaking you back and forth, making you look at them.
They push you onto the bed and walk to the closet while talking.
"It is not a prank, you are a catch! I'm surprised you aren't getting letters from every person at Hogwarts by now" They say winking at you cheekily. "It is not a first year, especially not that Ravenclaw bloke" They answer putting clothes on the bed next to you in stacks. "If you want me to be honest I think it's a certain redhead who is always ogling you from afar without you noticing." They look at you waving their eyebrows and smirking.
"Who? Ron???" You ask with a look of disgust.
"No, you can be so daft sometimes you know" They roll their eyes in disappointment. "Fred, of course. Who else looks at you like you hold the stars in your eyes"
"Fred? No way." You put your head down hiding the blush threatening to rise to your cheeks. "He most definitely does not look at me like that. Besides, I think he likes Angelina." You can't help the jealousy raging in your chest as you think about it.
"What? No way! She and George have been going out for weeks now, they follow each other around like lovesick puppies. You've been so busy focusing on these letters you just haven't noticed." They speak knowingly as they pick up an outfit and hold it up for you to try on, pushing it towards you.
You breathe out in relief at the new information, standing up and heading to the bathroom. More of your roommates come into the dorm and help you get ready, excited for you to finally meet the person who has occupied your thoughts for the past few weeks.
Every time you come out of the bathroom you get their opinions and then shoved back in with 20 more items. After an hour, you finally walk out of the bathroom and the room is completely silent. Everyone is in awe just staring at you, mouths open.
"What?? What's wrong?" You hurriedly speak, looking down at yourself and then back at everyone with concern on your face.
Everyones face lights up and they start speaking all at once.
"You look amazing!"
"You're so hot omg!"
"Who is this lucky git who gets to see you like this"
They flood you with compliments, all agreeing this is the outfit you NEED to wear tonight.
Girl outfit ideas 1,2,3.
Guy outfit ideas 1,2,3.
Gn outfit ideas 1,2,3.
(Feel free to imagine any outfit you want these are just some ones I like)
Your friend takes your hand and drags you to the full-length mirror in the middle of the room, a big smile on their face, placing you in front of it and showing you the outfit in all its glory.
"You have to wear this, you look amazing. Anyone would be lucky to see you in this on a date like wow." They say in awe, everyone else in the room sharing their looks and sounds of approval.
They give you some accessories and pull the outfit fully together. You do your hair put some makeup on, look in the mirror, and smile.
Getting ready helped ease your nerves but now that you are ready and you have to wait all of the anxiety is coming back full force. The overwhelming thoughts flood back into your brain.
What If I don't like the person?
Can someone really like me this much?
Should I even go?
Before you could get too lost in your thoughts you heard the clock.
Dingggg, dinggggg, dingggg
You look up and read the time.
Shit I'm going to be late
You take one last look in the mirror and grab your wand before leaving the dorm and sneaking down the stairs.
You sneak around the castle making sure to not run into any prefects or Filch. When you get to the tower door you take a deep breath before continuing up the stairs.
Tumblr media
When you walk into the tower the doorway is lined with candles leading to the middle of the room, as you continue walking you see a blanket with flower petals lying around the beautifully woven cloth. A wicker basket sits in the middle of the blanket, overflowing with bread, pastries, cheese, and jam.
As you are processing the sight before you, footsteps coming from behind you make you freeze.
"I almost thought you wouldn't come" A deep husky voice comes from behind you, giving you goosebumps across your skin.
Fred?
You turn around slowly, your face showing the shock you feel in your bones.
"Y-you?" You stutter releasing a breath you didn't know you were holding.
"Disappointed?" Fred questions, a shy smile on his face but you can hear the nervousness in his voice.
"Is this real? I mean are you being serious?" A mix of questioning and genuine shock bleeding into your words as you speak. You feel as if the room is spinning as you try to grasp the reality of this situation.
"Do you think I would joke about this? Come on Bunny, I know I make jokes and pranks but I'm not a foul git." Fred laughs trying to ease the tension that lingers in the space between you before he continues.
"I have felt this way for a very long time, I just haven't known how to tell you" He walks towards you slowly, and you finally sink back into the moment enough to see the flowers in his hands.
"(Your favorite flower)" You say softly, staring at the beautifully arranged bouquet in his hands. "How did you-"
"In the third year, you had a muggle book of flowers, you left it in the common room one day and when I returned it to you I noticed a particular page that looked more worn than the others. I just figured this was your favorite. Other than that it just suits you. If I were to imagine you as a flower I'd guess this one." Fred looks down and blushes as he realizes he just went on a rant about you as a flower but quickly tries to save his confidence by looking back up and stepping closer to you holding the bouquet out for you to take.
You look into his eyes and then at the flowers before taking them. You were completely and utterly dumbfounded. Never in a million years did you believe this moment would ever happen, but you couldn't be happier.
You smile brightly at Fred. "Thank you, Fred. Genuinely, this is the kindest thing anyone has ever done for me."
"For you anything" He replies, looking down at you with nothing but pure adoration in his eyes.
He offers his hand for you to take and you accept, putting your hand in his. You blush realizing how large his hands actually are. He leads you to the blanket and keeps your hand in his as he helps you sit. He moves to the other side of the blanket, taking two glasses and filling them with wine. He hands one to you and takes a deep breath before speaking again.
"Y/n, I love you. I have loved you since the first year when I saw you at the sorting ceremony. You had big dorky glasses and your face was bright as a tomato, I saw how nervous you were going up in front of everyone but I never understood why. When I saw you I thought you were the most beautiful person I had ever seen, I couldn't understand how someone could be nervous when they had absolutely nothing to hide from. It wasn't just me, I saw how other people looked at you as well. It isn't just your looks that drew me in though, it was that quiet giggle I heard behind me when I accidentally hit Marcus Flint with a dung bomb. It was the most amazing sound I had ever heard in my entire life. That sound is the single reason I continued to prank people. I wanted to hear you laugh any chance I got and eventually, I started enjoying pranking and making jokes because it was fun. I am telling you this because I want you to understand how much you have turned my life upside down Y/n L/n. I understand if you don't feel the same but I couldn't keep this from you any longer. I meant everything I wrote in those letters, I didn't know how to tell you how I felt without ruining our friendship. I wasn't even going to send the letters when I began writing them, I wrote letters for you for over a year before I sent the first one. I saved them in hopes that one day I could send them and finally express how I felt to you. I know this is a lot to process and I am sorry if this is too much for you and if you need time I fully understand." Fred expresses holding your hand and looking into your eyes taking in every expression on your face. At the end, he releases a long breath, and you can see his shoulders relax. You now understand how much this had affected him and how long he has been hiding.
He stares at you waiting for you to speak or even make a sound, when suddenly you smash your lips against his. His eyes widen in surprise and he sinks into the kiss. He grips the back of your head, not roughly but hard enough to keep you in the same position. You grip at his shirt, as your mouths continue to move perfectly in sync. When both of you finally pull away your chest heaves, trying to steady your breathing.
"I feel the same way Fred, you don't even understand how glad I am that it is you" You smile, face flushed at the realization of the bold move you just pulled.
"Well, I'd bloody hope so, or do you just like kissing your friends?" You both laugh, the sound airy and light.
You sit and talk for hours under the starlight. Both sharing smiles and laughs, enjoying each other's company. Fred gives you his jacket when he sees you shiver and you take in the warmth, noticing he put on a new cologne you've never smelt before. You sit, eat, talk, and cuddle until you realize how late it is.
"Oh shit" You shriek, sitting up quickly. "What time is it?" You look back at Fred, still lying on the blanket. His eyes go wide as he checks his watch.
You and Fred clean up the blanket and food and begin walking to the door.
You feel your wrist being tugged and you look behind you.
"Hold on, I know a different way." He grins widely and drags you to the other side of the tower, he pulls out his wand. He gestures his wand at you, telling you to bring yours out.
"Repeat after me, revelio" He asks
Fred holds up three fingers, pointing his wand at the floor and you follow suit. When the last finger goes down you speak in unison.
"Revelio"
Suddenly the floor opens up and a staircase unfolds before your eyes. You stand there shocked, wondering how Fred discovered this mystery passage.
"Lumos" Fred mumbles and light shoots out of his wand, allowing you to see down the stairs. He gestures for you to take his hand and you hesitantly accept.
"Trust me, it's just a passage. I would never put you in harm's way." Fred assures you, turning forward after you nod your head and he begins descending the steps.
You continue hand in hand down the stairs, and when you reach the bottom you realize you are right next to the Gryffindor common room.
"How in the world did you figure this out?" You question astonished. You think back to all of the pranks he has pulled without getting caught and into trouble, it makes you wonder how many of these secret passages he has figured out.
"A good magician never reveals his secrets" Fred smirks and whispers the password to the very tired and annoyed fat lady.
He walks you to your dorm stairs and you both blush and giggle staring at each other.
"I guess this is goodnight" Fred whispers, looking at you as if you hold the sun in your eyes.
"I guess it is" You reply, both of you slowly leaning in.
"Goodnight"
"Goodnight"
You close the space between you and share a sweet and loving kiss.
You pull away first but Fred chases your lips making you giggle into another peck.
"Okay, okay we really need to get to bed" You laugh lightly, trying to be quiet and not make yourselves known to any nosy students.
"You really want to go" He pouts, even though he is joking you can see the hesitation in his eyes. Not wanting this moment to end.
"I'll see you tomorrow" You smile, enjoying watching him yearn for your affection.
"Promise?"
"I promise"

Y/N and Fred had been together for nearly a year. They had started dating right after New Years. For this Christmas, instead of spending the holiday at Hogwarts, Fred had invited her to the Burrow for Christmas, which she agreed to happily. However this would be the first time she had met his parents, Bill and Charlie, the two eldest Wealsley boys coming home for the holidays. She already knew George, Ginny, Ron and Percy through school but meeting the parents of the Weasley clan was something that made her nervous.
It was officially the first day of break, she was packed and ready to go, waiting by the Fat Lady’s painting for Fred and the rest of the Weasley’s, the first one to exit the portrait was George and right behind him was Fred. “You ready to go love?” Fred asked her with a bright smile on his face.
“I’m ready, let’s go boys,” She replied, matching her boyfriend’s smile. Fred was blissfully unaware of how nervous she was, he was just excited to go home to see the rest of his family, sure he had a majority of them at Hogwarts but he missed his parents dearly. He linked arms with his girlfriend who had linked arms with his twin as the three of them pranced their way to the exit of Hogwarts.
Once they were on the train, then Fred finally took notice of how nervous his girlfriend actually was. “Why are you so nervous? I told you everyone is going to love you!”
“I know but I can’t help it. What if your mum doesn’t like me? Or your dad?” She asked, concern lacing her voice. Fred grabbed her hand and squeezed it, looking right in her eye.
“They will love you, I promise. Have I ever lied to you? Like ever?” Fred asked, she shook her head no, “So why would I lie about this? Mum and dad will love you. No question about it. George, a little backup here?” George perked up and looked right at his brother’s girlfriend, a mischievous smirk on his face.
“Oh no, I entirely disagree. I think mum will claim her as her own child, another daughter. You know how much she loves having a single girl in the house, now imagine her with another girl in the house that loves her son just as much as she does,” George said, Y/N giggling slightly, the twins doing fantastic at their job to make her feel better.
“Thank you Freddie and Georgie. I appreciate it a lot.”
She was calm for the rest of the ride, the nervous feeling only returning once they flooed into the Burrow. She was right after George to get to the Burrow, Fred and the other’s right behind her.
“My children are home! Hello my darlings! I’ve missed you!” Molly exclaimed from the kitchen, her voice getting louder until she had reached the fireplace. “You must be Y/N! Oh you are gorgeous, it’s so nice to finally meet you!” Molly pulled the girl in for a hug which surprised her, she was stunned for a moment until she finally remembered to hug the woman back.
“It’s nice to finally meet you too Mrs. Weasley. Freddie wouldn’t shut up about coming home to your cooking. He always says the house elves have nothing on you,” Y/N replied.
“Oh dear, call me Molly. Mrs. Weasley makes me feel old.”
“Can I steal my girlfriend back to introduce her to dad? You’re going to suffocate her woman,” Fred joked to his mother. Molly let go of the girl before quickly apologizing.
“I’m sorry dear, Fred just hasn’t stopped talking about you, I’ve been so excited to finally meet you!”
“I’ve been so excited to meet you too!”
“Okay, love, let’s go meet my father before my mum steals you for the rest of the holiday,” Fred grabbed his girlfriend’s hand and led her to the back yard where Arthur was tinkering with some muggle objects. “Dad, this is my girlfriend Y/N, love, this is my father.”
“It’s nice to meet you Mr. Weasley, Freddie has told me loads about you,” She said with a smile.
“He’s said loads about you too! He told me you’re a half-blood, can you tell me what it’s like to have a muggle parent?” Arthur replied.
“Dad-”
“No, it’s fine Fred, I enjoy talking about my life as a half-blood, I got the best of both worlds really. I got to experience things as a witch but also as a muggle,” She explained to the man. Arthur continued to ask the girl questions, Fred eventually leaving the two of them to talk about the muggle world so he can go catch up with his mother.
“Where’s Y/N, dear?” Molly asked her son.
“Lost her to dad. They’re talking about muggles.” Fred replied.
“I had a feeling that would happen. You’ve got a good one Fred. That’s a keeper she is.”
Fred and Molly took the time to catch up, Fred telling her about school and Molly telling him about new things that she had done while her children had been away. They took their sweet time catching up until dinner was ready, Molly tasking Fred to call in Arthur and Y/N, so he went outside where he saw the two who had just met hugging, his father treating his girlfriend as one of his own. It made Fred’s heart warm to see it.
“Mum said dinner is ready,” Fred was apprehensive to interrupt but was glad he did deep down because he could finally steal his girlfriend back. Arthur was the first to let go of the girl and happily went into the house, Y/N meeting Fred halfway so they could walk into the house together. “I see that you and dad get on well.”
“Yeah, he’s a delight Freddie! He reminds me of you a little bit. You both get very passionate when you talk about things you love or have an interest in. Your eyes light up and you can talk for days about whatever it is. You two have that in common,” She smiled as they walked towards the house.
“See, I told you, there was no reason to be nervous. I do owe George a galleon now though.”
“What? Why? What did you two bet on this time?”
“I said mum would be the one to steal you but Georgie said dad would. George was right.” The two of them laughed about the bet as they entered the house and sat at the dinner table.
Dinner went well, the Weasley’s that didn’t know Y/N got to know her and what she had liked. She had learned some new embarrassing stories about the twins as the conversation went on. And then, Molly pulled out the photo albums much to all of the Weasley children’s dismay. Y/N, Herminone and Harry, however, thoroughly enjoyed seeing pictures of their significant others as children, it gave them perfect ammunition to use against them if needed.
Molly stayed up with the girl for a while finally getting the time to talk to her one on one to get to know her and her intentions with dating one of her sons. Y/N assured Molly that Fred was the love of her life; that there was nothing to be worried about when they were at Hogwarts because she would be there for Fred, no matter what. Molly felt lighter hearing this but she felt even better as she went on about her other children that were attending Hogwarts as well.
“Mrs. Weasley, I promise you that I will look after and care for Ginny, George and Fred when they’re away from you. They’re my family too and I care about them a lot. They mean the world to me,” Y/N assured the woman next to her. The woman pulled the girl into a tight hug as a thank you before sending her off to bed once she realized the time. She went up to the twins’ room and climbed right into Fred’s bed where he was already half asleep.
“Have a good talk with mum?” Fred asked her sleepily.
“A really good talk. I’ll tell you about it in the morning,” She replied as she was getting under the covers with him. As soon as she was under the covers, he pulled her into his side and dropped a lazy kiss to the top of her head.
“Night, I love you.”
“I love you too Freddie. Good night.”
She had never felt so welcomed by another family before, she already felt like she was a part of the Weasley family. She knew that the family would always hold a special place in her heart no matter what happened. Fred was happy that she was quick to become part of the family, that she was quick to care for his family. He knew that he would never let her go, no matter what.

Don't Trust a Malfoy (pt. 1)
Fandom: Take a guess (Harry Potter)
Pairing: Fred Weasley x Malfoy!Reader
Y/n = your name
Warnings: they/them pronouns, trauma, bad parenting, (your probably used to both if you're reading this) ( that was a joke don't take offense), events are taken out of order from the story, shitty writing. Some People Live (Lemme know if I missed anything)
Noises are in a bigger font
---------------------------------------
*Y/n's POV*
I never understood why I was treated so differently, nor why only the house elves took care of me, and why my 'family' treated me like I owed them. Only my mother and my brother showed any sort of love or kindness towards me, behind my father's back of course. My mother did love me but she only ever showed it by quick looks of "I'm sorry", my brother a like, just before punishments came, mostly for whats happening currently.
WOOSH, you can hear the wind blowing as the three of us blow by on our brooms escaping Filch and his demon cat. We had set dung bombs to explode as soon as he opened his door, then glitter cannons going off after he's covered
"And that'll be a detention for the three of us after he's cleaned" I say as I look to my best friends in the entire world, without them, I wouldn't be able to get through life at home.
"He can't give us detention if he can't catch us" Fred starts, shrugging, throwing his hands to the sides of his head
"Besides, it'd be McGonagall who would be given us our punishments" George continues pointing a finger at me to set his point
"Yeah-yeah, you boys are going to get me in trouble again" I say with a grin as we all sit down in the gryffindor common room, hoping for a laugh... I don't get one. With solemn faces Fred speaks up
"I hope it wasn't too bad this summer" he asks, I pick at my fingers and look at the ground
"It wasn't that bad, little bit here and there nothin' awful, anyway how was your summer" I say quickly trying to change the subject. Fred gives me a strict look as if to say 'don't lie to me' but George carries on.
"Oh rather fun actually, our brother Charlie came home for a week or so durin' summer so he- " he rambled on with Fred when our little heroic trio (a name I used for them often) walked in
"Harry! Hermione! Ronni!" A year younger than us but they were all like my little siblings
"Y/n!" They all yelled as they piled on top of me
"How is my little heroic trio, how was your summer"
"Fine, I heard you three started the year off with a bang" Harry said sending all five of them into laugher
"Well what more could you expect from us?" I ask
"Mm" Ron pretends to think "how about Snape next?" Making George and Fred stand up
"Oh we tried"
"But oh no that's not allowed, tell them to say the word and we could-"
"Nope! No real teachers!" I end it there
--
*Fred's POV*
Everything seemed fine but the way they deforested my question earlier made me uneasy. I hope one day they can get out, on good terms.
--------------------------------
*Y/n's POV*
There had been an incident, you-know-who got hurt Mr. Weasley, all the Weasley kids including Hermione and Harry were called to Dumbledore's office, well, I was dragged by Fred and George.
"Wh- Fred, what's happening?" I ask confusedly
"Dad's been hurt" I stayed quiet and ran with him wherever he went, they needed me, if they didn't I wouldn't be out of bed, so I ran
--
All of them were to be sent back to twelve Grimmauld place, I looked at all of them and said
"Be safe"
"And why would you be saying your goodbyes (ms./mr./mx.) Malfoy? You're going with them." Dumbledore said lowly, with wide eyes I start
"But my-"
"No need to worry about that, I've taken care of that"
"Do they-" I start again only to be cut off again
"I've informed them yes"
And so we were off to Grimmauld place

Unspoken Affections
Title: Unspoken Affections
Fred Weasley felt a peculiar tug in his heart whenever he saw Y/N, a Slytherin whose mere presence lit up the dim corridors of Hogwarts. Yet, he couldn't muster the courage to confess his feelings, haunted by the fear of disappointing his family, especially his siblings. Over the winter break, Fred's melancholy grew as he witnessed each of his siblings happily entangled in romance. He confided in his parents, who, instead of reproaching him, offered understanding and support. Molly, though concerned, urged Fred to bring Y/N to the Burrow for Christmas, hoping the festive cheer would alleviate his despondency. As Y/N stepped into the warmth of the Burrow, Fred's heart fluttered with nervous anticipation. However, his hopes were soon overshadowed by tension when Ron, his usually jovial brother, made disparaging remarks about Slytherins, insinuating ties to dark magic and blood purity. Y/N, visibly uncomfortable, struggled to maintain composure as Ron's words pierced through the jovial atmosphere. Unable to bear the injustice, Molly Weasley's patience snapped like a taut string. With a stern voice, she reprimanded Ron, her words echoing in the room with a force that silenced everyone. "Foolish boy, judging others based on outdated prejudices! Love knows no house, no blood status. It's time you learn to respect others, Ronald Weasley!" Fred's heart swelled with gratitude towards his mother's unwavering support. In that moment, he realized that love transcended boundaries, and he vowed to cherish every moment with Y/N, regardless of what others might say. And as the Christmas festivities resumed, Fred found solace in knowing that his family, flawed yet loving, would always stand by his side.
A/N: I hope you liked it ! It’s my first ever fanfic tell me if there’s any mistakes ! (also i’m a english major so im so sorry if i used big words!!)

The Daughter
Summary: Enemies to lovers, Weasley x Lestrange. Linked is a more descriptive summary with author's notes (: Warnings: None Chapter One can be found here.
Tumblr media
Chapter Two: Fred lounged on the couch by the bookshelf in the Gryffindor Common Room, tossing a hacky sack over his head lazily. He was surrounded by his siblings George, Ron, and Ginny, his best friend, Lee Jordan, and Ron’s friends Harry and Hermione.
Hermione was trying to cheer Harry up after being teased by Draco and his idiot friends who follow him around like a bunch of groupies. Harry was already embarrassed about fainting in front of his friends, and he couldn’t stand the idea of the other students at Hogwarts knowing about it. Especially the Slytherins.
“Harry, you heard Professor Dumbledore. You’re lucky you got off with only fainting,” Hermione said, rubbing her best friend’s back. “It could have been much worse.”
“Yeah, but Malfoy won’t ever see it that way,” Harry scowled.
“Malfoy’s a git,” Ron said with a mouthful of chocolate frogs he stole from the Great Hall. “Hey, who was that girl who told him quit it?”
Fred sat up. “That would be Kyrie Lestrange. She’s in our year and an even bigger tyrant than her cousin, Malfoy.”
“They’re cousins?” Ron asked.
“Yeah, haven’t you heard of her mother?” George said. When he read the confused faces of the kids in front of him, he grinned. “Her name is Bellatrix Lestrange, one of the most loyal followers of You-Know-Who. She’s locked up in Azkaban with the other psycho Death Eaters. If you think this Sirius Black guy is mad, who, by the way, is Bellatrix’s cousin, you should be lucky it’s not Lestrange’s face plastered all over the Daily Prophet.”
“Draco and Kyrie are both related to most violent murderers in Azkaban?” Hermione asked.
“Correct, Granger,” Fred smirked at the bushy haired girl. He felt a certain kind of satisfaction when he was able to tell her something she didn’t know. Hermione was one of the smartest witches at Hogwarts. There wasn’t much that she didn’t already know. “Bet you never get tired of hearing that.”
Hermione stuck her tongue out at the boy she considered to be like an older brother to her.
Harry’s brows furrowed and silently thought back to when he first met Kyrie Lestrange. It was when he first used floo powder to go to Diagon Alley to shop for this year’s books with the Weasleys. However, he somehow got rerouted to Borgin and Burkes in Knockturn Alley, and he had no idea of the kind of dangers that lurked in that dark corner.
Knockturn Alley was dark and filled with people who looked like they haven’t smiled or seen the light of day in ten years. Harry genuinely felt scared in that part of town and his fear seemed to attract the wizards and witches who lurked there…who also haven’t seen a bath in ten years either.
“Not lost are you are my dear,” A witch grabbed him by the collar, bringing him closer to her foul breath, her yellow teeth peeking out through her smirk. When he turned, he was cornered by five other witches and wizards. There was nowhere to run. That same witch grabbed his shoulder again. “Come with us. We’ll help you find your way back.”
“No,” Harry said weakly.
He felt like he was on the verge of a heart attack when he heard his name.
“Harry, I’ve been looking for you.” A girl around his age with pink streaks in her hair descended the stairs of the alley. Harry didn’t recognize her he but in that moment, he couldn’t care less. He saw the way the witches and wizards stepped away from him as she got closer. There was a glint of excitement in her eyes, like she knew the effect that she had on these ghastly people. “I know you bums having nothing better to do than prey on little kids but at least be more subtle about it.” She looked back at the boy with a smile. “Come on Harry. I saw a group of red heads this way.”
Harry swallowed but nodded enthusiastically. He had about a dozen questions but didn’t know which one to ask first.
When they were finally far enough away from the others, she said, “You know Harry, a boy like you stands out in Knockturn Alley. You should be more careful where you walk alone.”
“Who are you?”
The girl rolled her eyes playfully. “I think you mean to say ‘thank you.’”
“Right. Thanks.”
She grinned. “No problem. My name’s Kyrie.”
“Harry, but you already knew that.”
“Of course. Who in the wizarding world hasn’t heard of the infamous Harry Potter?” She said. Harry clenched his teeth. He was tired of everyone knowing who he was. He felt like a fish in fish bowl. “Look, we’ll keep this between us. Okay?”
“Why? You’re clearly a Slytherin,” Harry said, nodding towards the serpent embroidered on the notebook in her hands. “You know I’m in Gryffindor. You’re not going to tell anyone to embarrass me?”
“No, I won’t tell. Scouts honor,” Kyrie held up her hand. “Besides, I already have enough Gryffindors on my list to waste my time with. I don’t feel the need to add another one, honestly.”
“Harry!” A deep voice called from behind her. They both turned and found the friendly Giant, Hagrid, trudging over to them. They were still close enough to Knockturn Alley to cause suspicion and Hagrid was smarter than most people made him out to be. “What are you doing over here? You shouldn’t be here.”
“I got lost. I was just –“
“Harry saw me with those group of losers and noticed how uncomfortable I was, so he helped me out of there. That’s all,” Kyrie said.
Hagrid narrowed his eyes. “And what were you doing down there?”
“Window shopping,” She shrugged and winked at the Giant. “I should go. It was nice meeting you, Harry.”
Kyrie walked away.
Hagrid waited for her to disappear completely when Hagrid said, “You don’t want to be seen in Knockturn Alley, Harry. People will think you’re up to no good.”
“I was –“
“I know you didn’t find Kyrie, Harry. Kyrie found you. Isn’t that right?” Hagrid said. Harry looked at his shoes feeling embarrassed. “I know that girl better than she thinks I do. It doesn’t take much to scare her, especially not those kinds of people who hang out down there. It was sweet of her to try and convince me otherwise, though.”
Yeah, Harry thought, it was sweet.
Harry didn’t understand why the girl he met in Knockturn Alley sounded so different than the one the twins were describing now. Especially now that he knew she shared the same DNA as Draco Malfoy.
Despite his curiosity, he decided to keep his encounter with Kyrie Lestrange to himself. Today was a long day between traveling back to Hogwarts and trying to avoid the Dementors. The last thing he wanted to do was spend his time talking about the Slytherins.
Fred, however, noticed Harry’s blank gaze, clearly distracted by something running through his mind, and he couldn’t help but feel intrigued. “Where’d you just go, Harry?”
“Huh? Nowhere?” Harry hid his reddened cheeks in his hand.
“Are you gonna be okay, Harry?” Hermione asked, standing up.
Harry nodded.
“Come on, Fred. We’ve got a little more brainstorming to do. We don’t want our first week to be dull now, do we?” George said with a teasing smirk.
Lee laughed, clapping his hands in excitement, and the three of them disappeared into their dorms, where a list of pranks was already being comprised.
Fred and George walked into the dungeons where their Potions class was held every year. Most of their classmates were already seated with their choice in Potions partners, whispering softly amongst themselves.
George tapped Fred on the arm and pointed to two seats on the right-hand side of the classroom. They were in the third row, which for the twins, wasn’t ideal, but if they wanted to be partners, it was going to have to do. The only other option was the two seats on the left-hand side, but that’s where all the Slytherins were sitting, and they would rather stand for the entire lesson than be anywhere near those gits.
About a minute later, Kyrie Lestrange and her best friend Cedrella Copplestone walked in arm in arm. Fred couldn’t help but notice how most heads turned their way. The boys in the class smirked and bumped shoulders with one another while the girls either looked on with envy or intimidation.
It wasn’t any secret that Lestrange and her girl friends were some of the most attractive females in their year. Hell, possibly in the whole school. Like most of the boys here, Fred fell victim to trailing Lestrange’s legs up to her shorter-than-was-allowed skirt, images that he would never dare to share flashing through his head. He’s heard the crude comments other have made, which made Fred realize pretty early on that he wasn’t the only one with those images in his head.
But despite her extraordinary good looks, Lestrange was still…Lestrange. Conceited, bold, rude, manipulative, and provoking… And her friends were no different.
“Hey,” Cedric Diggory, a fifth year Hufflepuff, waved to Kyrie and Cedrella. “Over here.”
Kyrie smirked and sat in the aisle seat of the table next to Cedric’s and his partner, Justin Gilbert.
Fred and George scoffed at the interaction, mostly because they liked Cedric, and they didn’t want him falling into the trap of Kyrie Lestrange and her groupies.
“How was your summer?” Cedric asked her.
Kyrie leaned in closer with her elbows on her table. “Mundane.” She replied. She didn’t see her best friend roll her eyes behind her. “And yours? Practicing for quidditch I presume?” Her eyes scanned over Cedric’s upper body. His jawline was sharper, his hair longer, and his arms more toned. Cedric was older for his grade with his birthday falling on September 1st. The first day of school year. So he was already seventeen. And for some reason, that made him even more desirable to the Slytherin girl.
“Mundane, huh Lestrange?” Fred said from across the room, catching the attention of every other student in the class. He leaned back in the stool he was sitting with a smirk and his arms crossed. “I’d hardly find helping your Dear ‘Ol Uncle Black escape Azkaban mundane.”
Kyrie narrowed her eyes. “Weasley, you never seem to surprise me. Just when I thought your brain couldn’t be any smaller…”
“I mean it makes sense, doesn’t it?” Fred said, the faces around him turning from intrigued to apprehensive. “Why else would he escape if he didn’t already have a plan to reunite with his family and finish what he started – what with You-Know-Who’s name becoming a common topic of conversation again amongst your kind.”
“Maybe because it’s Azkaban, you git. No one wants to be there,” Kyrie retorted.
Fred’s smirk grew, knowing he was getting under her skin. “Well, you would know that better than anyone else, wouldn’t you, Lestrange?”
“Yeah, rumor has it you’re the first witch to be granted a visiting pass into Azkaban. Tell me, does she look as awful as her mug shot picture? Is she as crazy as everyone says?” George added earning a chuckle from Fred.
Fred watched Kyrie’s jaw sharpen as she clenched her teeth together. Next to her, Cedric kept his head down, avoiding looking at both the twins and Kyrie, suddenly finding the quill in front of him very fascinating. He was never one for confrontation unless absolutely necessary. Much like the rest of Hufflepuffs, he kept to himself, and avoided the ongoing feud between Gryffindors and Slytherins like the plague.
Cedrella leaned in closer to her best friend and glared at the ginger twins. “If her family was going to break anyone out of Azkaban, why would they start with Sirius and not her own mother?”
“Maybe that’s their next move,” A Gryffindor sitting behind the twins said.
“You better hope it’s not,” Cedrella said. “I heard Blood Traitors were her favorite –“
The Weasley twins jumped out of their seats, and Cedrella and Kyrie were quick to follow, stools scraping on the concrete floor. Instantly, the rest of the Gryffindors and Slytherin students stood at their desks. The houses were divided on opposite ends of the room. In the middle sat the Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaw students, who looked around warily, unsure if they should get out of the way or stay seated.
Fred felt his blood boiling under his pale skin, his hand reaching for his wand in his pocket. He was used to Slytherins using his family against him, but it was mostly about their lack of money or his father’s obsession with muggle objects and inventions.
It was hard to get a reaction like this out of the twins, but when threats are made against their family…they’re ready to become lethal.
Cedric was the first non Gryffindor or Slytherin to stand. He turned to face Kyrie and lightly placed a hand on her arm, “Don’t. It’s not worth it.” He looked down and saw how white her knuckles were around her wand.
“Sit. Down. Now,” A deep voice vibrated from the back of the room. No one moved an inch and no one took their eyes off the opposing house. “I said now!” White light flashed in the dark room and an abrupt force pushed the students in their seat, turning them forward.
The students grunted and rubbed their stomachs and backs to ease the sharp pressure they had just felt.
“Typical Gryffindors. Nothing but a bunch of big mouths,” Cedrella muttered.
Fred didn’t pay any attention to the lecture Professor Snape was giving about the importance of O.W.Ls and how he won’t accept anyone into Advance Potions next year without an Outstanding score. Instead, he was thinking of all the ways he was going to hex the Slytherins, focusing mostly on Lestrange and her friends. With the scowl on his brother’s face, Fred assumed George was thinking the same thing.
“For next lesson, I want a detailed written essay about the potion you would use against your enemy, why you would choose that one, and what will go wrong when you inevitably concoct it incorrectly,” Snape said in his nasally voice, already laced with disappointment on the first day.
At the mention of the word enemy, Kyrie and Fred looked up at each other, eyes narrowed in a glare. Then, a small grin tugged on the corners of Kyrie’s face and she had the audacity to wink at him, because she knew exactly what to do to drive him mad with irritation, always acting like she had the upper hand in their confrontations, pretending like she couldn’t be bothered by the insults that were constantly being thrown her way.
And it worked every time.
“Class dismissed,” Snape said.
Fred didn’t even bother placing his books back into his bag. He just scooped everything into his arms, prepared to confront Lestrange again before she could disappear into the Slytherin Common Room, but Snape’s voice stopped him.
“Miss Lestrange. A moment.”
Fred glanced back at her, but the confusion written on her face made it clear that even Kyrie didn’t have an idea what it was that Snape wanted to discuss. She whispered something to her best friend, who walked out with a couple of other Slytherin students.
“C’mon,” George said. “She’s not worth it.”
George looked her up and down in disgust as Kyrie passed them to meet Snape at his desk. Fred nodded and followed his brother out.
Fred and George spent their night hexing the bathrooms near the Slytherin Common Room, causing the toilets to explode right before curfew. It wasn’t their most creative prank. In fact, they’ve done it once before in their first year at Hogwarts. But they were both so angry after Potions that it was the best they could come up with on such short notice.
Despite their successful prank, Fred was still feeling sour after his encounter with the Slytherins during Potions. The threat Cedrella made still didn’t sit right with him, and Kyrie…Merlin he hated Kyrie. She was a self-absorbed cruel little brat. With her attitude, she was destined to take just after her mother – maybe even follow in her footsteps and share a cell in Azkaban.
“Look, she’s not worth all this energy, mate,” Lee said as they hung out in their dorms. “If you’re going to think about her this much, at least think of her…naked or something. Now, that doesn’t seem like a waste of time.”
Fred pulled his pillow out from under his head and chucked it at his best friend.
“Not including the naked thing…” George said, walking from his desk to sit on the edge of his own bed, “but Lee is right. You can’t let her ruin our fifth year – at least not within the first week.”
“She threatened our family, George,” Fred sat up, glaring at his brother.
“Cedrella threatened our family with Bellatrix.”
“You’re seriously washing this over with semantics?”
“Of course not,” George said. “For all we know, Kyrie is gonna grow up to be just like her mother. But that girl is a lame excuse to attend all your thoughts to.”
“Unless you’re picturing her naked,” Lee said.
George closed his eyes and dropped his chin to his chest.
Fred rolled his eyes. “What do you supposed Snape wanted to talk to her about, anyway?”
“He was probably telling her what to write her essay on. Everyone knows Snape gives extra attention to the Slytherins,” George said with a shrug.

Hey again, for the dad!fred request, no I don’t have any specific ideas! :)
I figured something out, hope you like it!
SOMETHING WRONG
Pairings: Dad!Fred Weasley x Fem!reader Summary: Fred as a dad of a son that doesn't seem to like tricks and pranks Warnings: nothing
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fred had tried countless times to get his son, Hugo to laugh at his tricks and try to get him to be interested in them, but Hugo never satisfied Fred in that department
Fred would put on a firework show every now and then but Hugo would focus on a stuffed toy he had in his hands, and when Fred took the toy off him the next time he did it, Hugo just played in the grass, sparing no mind to the explosions of bright colours.
it annoyed Fred that he couldn't bond with his son over pranks and tricks. and it wasn't that Hugo was too small, he was 5 years old, which Fred found is the perfect age to start.
Fred always told you that he would go out to have fun with Hugo but when they got home he never said anything about how it went
you just assumed it was good and that they had so much fun that Fred was too tired to tell you. and you loved that they had that bond
you often found yourself wanting to go with them to see their fun and spend time with them but you knew it was their time together, you had him all day most days while he ran the shop so when he went out with Fred you didn't really want to intrude on their time alone
"I'm taking Hugo out to play, we'll be back before dinner" Fred informed you, his trick suitcase in his hand as he held Hugo's hand
you smiled at him, letting him kiss you on the cheek
"take a jacket, please, it's cold out there" you said before they walked away.
Fred put down the suitcase and let go of his hand before going to your room
you leaned down and ushered Hugo closer to you
"give mummy a hug" you opened your arms, smiling when he ran to you, giving you a hug, leaning up to kiss your cheek
Fred came out holding his sweater and Hugo's coat, passing it to you
you helped Hugo put it on and kissed his head, letting them go
"have fun you two!" you called as they left
"I love you" you heard Fred yell out to you
you sighed happily as you let yourself relax before you started dinner.
-
you heard the door open and panicked as you heard them walk in, you checked the clock and noticed that they had only been out for 20 minutes and that dinner is 2 hours away
they would usually be out for hours doing things and come home just before dinner, so you suspected something might've happened
"is everything ok?" you asked as they walked into your line of sight, Hugo ran to his room crying as Fred rubbed his face
"what happened? is he ok?" you stood up
"something's wrong with him" Fred huffed, seeming annoyed
"what?! what's wrong, Fred?" you rushed, worried something bad
"he doesn't like anything I do, he doesn't smile at fireworks, he doesn't laugh at the stupid tricks and he doesn't even bat his eye at any product, are you sure he's my kid?" he questioned
you stared at him, not knowing if he was joking at the last question or not
"are you kidding?" you frowned
"he's not interested in anything I do with him, what type of father am I if I can't bond with me son over anything?" he threw his hands in the air
you sighed and went past to him and walked to Hugo's room.
you opened the door and shut it behind you, seeing him on his bed, underneath his blanket
you sat down on the edge and slowly pulled it off him
"Hugo? honey what's wrong?" you whispered, stroking his hair
"does daddy hate me?" he sobbed
"what? no, of course not, he loves you more than anything in the world, what makes you say that?" you helped him sit up, watching as he wrapped his arm around you.
"he started yelling, and took my toy off me" he cried
you closed your eyes and shook your head
"stay here, let me go talk to him, ok?" you kissed his head, getting up, leaving him on his bed
you walked out and heard Fred in your room, you went in and saw him packing his things up, a frown on his face
"you yelled at him?" you raised your eyebrows, he looked at you confused
"no, I didn't-" he huffed out
he shook his head and walked out, going to Hugo's room
-
all Fred wanted was a little him, a little him that would cause mischief with him, to play pranks with and have fun with.
Fred just seemed upset that his own son, his little miracle wasn't like him, that he didn't seem to care about what Fred did for a living.
Fred believed that it meant that Hugo wasn't proud of his father, that he wished he was something better and it made him feel ashamed of himself, wishing he did something better with his life
he never said anything to you about it cause he thought you would think it's stupid, that you would remind him that Hugo is only five years old and doesn't know what's going on
he walked in to Hugo's room and felt like crying when he saw Hugo's red face and puffy eyes.
he made his son cry
Fred gulped as he walked to him, he kneeled down in front of him and watched as he moved back.
did he scare him too?
"I didn't yell you" he started
never in his life did he think he would have to apologise to his child, but here he was, and it slightly broke his heart
"I don't want you to think that I did, because I didn't, ok? I wasn't mad I just got a little frustrated s'all" Fred sighed
"at me?" Hugo wiped his nose
"no, not at you, I could never be mad at you, Hughie" Fred cleared his throat, getting up to sit on his bed, bringing Hugo onto his lap
"then why'd you take my toy?" he sobbed in Fred's arms
"I just wanted you to focus on the trick, I'm sorry" Fred apologised, kissing his head
"but I wanted you to play with my truck with me"
it was only then when Fred realised that Hugo always asked Fred to look at his toy when they were out.
while Fred was setting off all of the pranks and sparks every time, Hugo was sat down, playing with his toy, asking for Fred to look at what he was doing
Hugo wanted as much attention from Fred as Fred wanted from him, but they wanted different things
he realised that Hugo's idea of fun is playing with toys with his dad and it made Fred mad at himself, knowing that Hugo would be sad every time he would turn him down, making him watch what he was doing instead
all he wanted was for Hugo to have fun with him, not understanding that Hugo only wanted to have fun with him
Fred felt more ashamed in himself, not only was what he did for a living not good enough for Hugo, but he turned him down when he wanted to spend time with him in his own way
"I'm sorry Buddy, we'll play with your truck next time" Fred wiped Hugo's tears
"promise?" Hugo spoke softly, holding out his small pinky
"promise" Fred laughed, trying to interlock pinkies with him
-
as the years went on, Hugo began more curious in what Fred does for a living, he begged him to show him more and they went out every weekend to set fireworks and play pranks of random people they came across
Fred didn't know where the sudden interest in it came from but he enjoyed every second of it, his son was proud of what he does
he smiles at the fireworks, he laughs at the stupid tricks and he even stares at all the products, suggesting things that Fred could make, causing Fred to chuckle and say he'd think of it, knowing that the product wouldn't work.

Touchy Ronald Weasely
Ron, who grew up the ‘cuddle bug’ of the family, was an incredibly tactile fellow. He was always touching someone, someway, somehow. Whether it was by a hand on their back, an elbow on their shoulder, a hand ruffling their hair.
Harry wasn't used to it, at first. It wasn't a surprise, considering how he was raised by the Dursleys. So, it takes him by surprise just how tactile his new friend is.
When Harry’s unpacking his trunk, Ron sweeps by and claps his hands on the boy’s shoulders before squeezing them. Ron hooks an arm around his shoulders with an easygoing smile as they walk to their next destination. He messes with Harry’s hair even more so when the boy first wakes up and Ron is passing his head.
Ron fixes his glasses from across the damn table during supper.
But, to Harry’s surprise, he isn't put off by it. He doesn't jump like how he used to when Uncle Vernon or Dudley suddenly slammed their hammers of a hand down on him. He doesn't flinch or pull away.
It's probably because Ron has ‘comfort’ hands. Hands that carry a reassuring weight, warm and friendly.
And Harry isn't the only one who notices this.
Once, when Hermione and Ron were going to visit Harry, who’d landed himself in Madam Pomphrey’s care after a Quidditch game, she’d nearly walked right off a moving staircase.
But, Ron had snagged her back before it was too late. He wasn’t even harsh with it, quickly grabbing Hermione by the sleeve of her robe and tugging her back. He then fixed her uniform, deftly smoothing it back in place with an eye roll.
Ron only scolded her, commenting something about, “The brightest of the century witch being killed by a staircase,” although Hermione doesn't remember. Her heart was beating too quickly in her chest, cheeks burning.
She's pretty sure that's where it all began.
And when they're dating, and Hermione shows him her O.W.L’s (which she passed with flying colors), Ron is reaching down to cup her face. Hermione stands there with a bashful smile, giggling as he peppers her face in kisses and praises.
Ron is always touching her when they date. He leans on her shoulder, plays with her hair while she studies, and fiddles with the fingers of her free hand as she uses the other to flip through the book she reads.
Hermione isn't used to having a friend (much less boyfriend) be so touchy-feely, but with Ron, it just feels right. So, Hermione welcomes the change eagerly.
Bonus:
And then, both Hermione and Harry find out that Ron is a little spoon.
It's their eighth year, months after the war between Hogwarts and Voldemort. None of them can stand to be apart from each other— especially Ron, who’d been grieving the lost of his brother.
So, one night, on a night when he knows this is something all of them need, Ron drags the two to the Gryffindor Common Room. And then, he's piling them together under quilts handmade by Molly, tucked near a dimly lit candle.
If Ron sticks himself between them, neither Harry nor Hermione comments on it. They simply wrap their arms around their friend, eyes slowly closing as they tangle up under the blankets.
It's how the First Years find them hours later, the trio a sleeping mess of limbs, a blanket strewn to the side, Harry’s nose buried in Ron’s shoulderblade, a leg tossed over him, while Hermione’s face is pressed into Ron’s chest, a knee resting against Harry’s thigh.
