Having a disorder that has psychotic symptoms really makes you feel distant from the rest of the mental health community sometimes. For example, some of y’all are really comfortable saying, “I have these symptoms, yes, but that doesn’t mean I’m ‘crazy’ (or insert any psychotic symptom).”
So just a friendly little reminder to please be at least a little cognizant of us when you post about your disorder(s). I fully support y’all, but I don’t want to be put down so others seem more palatable to the general public.

Is there a word to describe "having been traumatized by Capitalism"? Such as, if I'm being"unproductive" I feel like a failure? Or if I walk out of a store without having bought anything, I feel like security assumes I've stolen something so I'm scared and anxious?

I wish I never had to say this. But today I feel an urgency to tell the truth. Thirty one years ago I decided to transition from female to male. That means I used medical procedures to alter the look of my body. My physical appearance. This helped me in so many ways that I do not think I could even articulate. But I do think you know what I mean.
My biology never changed.
Now I look like a man. This is what a Transsexual man is. A female who feels like she wants to be a male. Gender dysphoria. A very uncomfortable feeling when the world views you as a woman when you want them to view you as a man. It’s all physical to help the mental. This helps the brain align in some way that make me comfortable to walk outside, go to the grocery store or work out at the gym. The dysphoria, that feeling that you want to be or look like man and you know you don’t, has pretty much gone away. The feeing of freedom. What I have sought after for as long as I could remember.
My biology never changed.
Not wanting to fool you, though I think some people think that. What I am trying to do is blend in, not makes waves. Just walk the street without seeing that look in your eye. You know the one.
It helps us both walk the world as I like to say coexisting. I want nothing from you and you want nothing from me. This is a transsexual. Coexist. Blend it. Make no problems. In fact make friends with the people you want to be like.
Why am I writing this? I feel a need to scream at the world. I am a transsexual man not a man. I want to be a man I want to look like a man BUT it has been such a long long time that I have wanted to scream it to the world. My biology is important it always has been, but it is personal or was, and now it needs to be at the front, There were never any problems with you before , now you hate me. It is not why I transitioned. I do not want you to hate me I only want to exist with you. I never want to take. It has always been that way.
Something happened to a space that changed my life for the better. Now it’s a competition. Nothing I know. Everything I am not. Anger. Hostility. Revenge. Hate. What is this? The opportunities are there.
I will never be a man but I will always be a Transsexual man. The difference is very important for both of us. It is how I made friends with you. My honesty. You loved my honesty. You said “It is so cool you used to be a woman”. So many of you said that to me.
This is my coexistence with you. All I want. Nothing more nothing less. I want to earn my place and cherish the rewards. The rewards of living together.
Love, Buck

If anyone needs to talk with someone or just needs to say something without any response or advice for something I will gladly help as much as I can, I can’t promise I can help with everything but I will try my best. I will also be keeping it a secret so no one else will know about it unless you want me to. If you just want to talk maybe just for fun I can do that too. I know how having no friends or feel like no one likes you can be like, I have been going through really hard times for the past few years, maybe we can help each other out. Even if you don’t have much to say or if you have a lot , I want people to have someone to talk to. I will try to respond or look at any messagese I get as soon as possibly. And if there’s anything specific you need or want I will try my best to do or get for you. You don’t need to tell me personal stuff just maybe your pronouns and if you want to a preferable name. You can also ask stuff about me just please be responsible with what you say. I will accept everyone and anyone. If you want me to post something for people to see like important information, education on something, something to help others or anything else please ask me, please don’t make it something rude to others or anything harmful thank you. Also if you say something I think others should know about I will ask before if I can post something about it, and if you want credit I can give some or I can keep it a secret. I want everyone to be super comfortable and relaxed when talking with me. If you can please try to get other people to see this, even if you don’t want to talk others might want to and I hope everyone who needs to see this does. I hope you have a good day/night and life.

The end doesn't justify the means
The transgender collective is one of the most full of people with mental health problems. People who practically live online and who, the second they read a negative comment, or get rejected, or become incels, hate themselves, can't get over it, can't breathe, can't live. And they need so much help. They're angry they don't feel right in their bodies. They're sad they can't find true love like they see others find. And they hurt so badly when they don't like their reflection in the mirror. They're isolated by family and friends who don't understand, and end up living online, believing everything they read. They think pills, surgeries, and convincing the world to act like they don't have problems will be the solution, but they're wrong. They don't even want to listen to therapists and doctors who're just trying to help, so they campaign so that they're not lawfully forced to see a doctor before transitioning.
You becoming full of hate, cancelling people and threatening them is not going to help them. Hate has never saved a life. They need love. They need a lot of medical help, therapy, counselling... Many transmen are simply women sick of sexism who believe life would've been better as men. Many transwomen are just men who don't feel they fit in with other men, that perhaps it's be better to be a woman. Only a small percentage of the collective are actually simply trans individuals who are mentally healthy and in full mental capacity to decide to transition. But those who aren't so lucky are in desperate need for mental health professionals who help them heal their minds before they can decide to transition. Life-changing decisions can only be made with a health heart and mind, it's the only way to ensure you won't regret something you won't be able to help.
A lot of these damaged individuals cannot withstand the idea that there's something wrong with them, because there's so much prejudice about mental health problems. You say you've got depression or something and it's like you're less than everyone else all of a sudden. People don't accept that it's simply illness, conditions, disorders, that have treatments, that can be improved, but you need to accept them first and to understand having a problem doesn't mean you're less good than anyone else. Would you be ashamed of saying you've got cancer? no. So don't be ashamed to say you're mentally ill. It's OK. There's help. But you have to accept it.
Instead, they're advocating to remove requirements of health evaluations before transitioning. And then they're trying to convince you that you're a bad person for the fandoms, books, people you like and support. That you are killing them. But it's not you. What's killing them is poor mental health. What's killing them is people who actually tell them to kill themselves, people who won't hire them for who they are, or who'll actually murder them in the streets. Not your love for Harry Potter. And if it does, it says more about the depth of their health issues, than it says anything bad about you.
Do not support a movement based on hatred. Do not support a movement that all the time tells people to kill themselves. That actively threatens you with death, rape, abuse and assault. That makes you feel you want to die. That makes you feel guilty just for loving say, Harry Potter, when you've done nothing wrong. Love can NEVER be wrong. They say the end justifies the means. That the people you're torturing don't deserve to live in the first place. That they're horrible TERFs. But they're wrong. Ask yourself, how often have you heard of any supposed Terf who's taken a knife against a trans people? And how often have you heard a supposd Terf simply beg for trans people to have access to mental health help? Since when is wanting people to be helped by professionals a bad thing? Since when is having love and passion for a fandom a bad thing? And since when are collectives who campaign with hatred, who threaten left and right, the good side of history?
Who are you to judge? Who are you to decide who lives and who dies? Who are you to decide some people deserve life and love, but others, it's your duty to threaten them and kill them?
You know, Hitler turned Europe upside down because he kept telling people that Jews were a cancer of society. That they deserved to die. They started by simply saying they should scrub the streets with toothbrushes, and people didn't think that was so bad. They laughed. They taunted the Jews because it seemed innocent fun. And look where it ended.
If you weren't so far-removed from the world in the US, if you were more aware of Nazism, you wouldn't let anyone brainwash you and put hatred, guilt and the responsibility for others' lives into your hearts. The only people responsible for life and death are politicians, doctors, cops and firefighters and other health and safety workers. Not you. Not kids online. The end doesn't justify the means. Don't let them put darkness into your hearts. Don't become instruments of hatred and violence and threats. Don't let what happened with Nazism happen to you.

The most common cause of death in prisons was suicide, with a much higher rate than in the wider community, the report found. In addition, findings showed that one in five Member States reported prison overcrowding, which has various negative consequences for health. The report suggested that alternative non-custodial measures are considered for offenses that do not present a high risk to society and where more effective measures exist, such as diversion to treatment for drug use disorders.

I watched Shutter Island tonight because I had to for my psychology class and I'm flabbergasted.
Like they really had me in the first half and then I was confused in the second. And then it all came together. Like small details that confused me at first came together and I was shook.
The movie was really good and I definitely recommend watching it. Leonardo DiCaprio acted the fuck outta that role and so did everyone else. The acting in this movie was phenomenal.
But yeah you maybe a lil confused while watching it but watch all the way to the end and it just comes together.
10 outta 10, would recommend 👌🏾

My psychiatrist when I was 7: (S)he has ADHD and mood swings. I'm also diagnosing social anxiety because (s)he refused to engage with me during the appointment.
25 year-old Me: Wrong. I have ADHD which causes emotional dysregulation - and although I can understand how that can be misinterpreted as mood swings, I just have one more question. Why tf did you think a 7 year-old who's never met you in their life was going to interact with you? I was taught not to talk to strangers and you were a stranger to me - not to mention you were hella creepy.
*Note: He could have just been trying too hard to get me to engage with him (i.e. talk), which I could have wildly misinterpreted as creepy. I was 7, after all.

Greetings bugs and worms!
This comic is a little different than what I usually do but I worked real hard on it—Maybe I'll make more infographic stuff in the future this ended up being fun. Hope you learned something new :)
If you are still curious and want to learn more about OCD, you can visit the International OCD Foundation's website. I also recommend this amazing TED ED video "Starving The Monster", which was my first introduction to the disorder and this video by John Green about his own experience with OCD.
The IOCDF's website can also help you find support groups, therapy, and has lots of online guides and resources as well if you or a loved one is struggling with the disorder. It is very comprehensive!
Reblog to teach your followers about OCD
(But also not reblogging doesn't make you evil, silly goose)

Image by Екатерина Гусева from Pixabay I got home from work around 5:30PM, which was like an hour and a half ago. I ate homemade Pizza for dinner, courtesy of my mama, after not eating all day at work. So, now I am not doing anything and have no plans for tonight. I figured now is a good time to create another personal blog post. TGIF (Thank God It’s Friday), because I need a break after a busy…
