lokius is so funny, because here's this middle aged dad that loves key lime pie and wears the same outfit everyday, and there's loki, the god of mischief and chaos, arguably one of the most unpredictable characters, looking at mobius like everything he says is surprising.

Summary:  Loki finally catches you time slipping after you guys break up. Little does he know the different lives you guys could have shared.
Characters: Loki x (Reader (Y/N) Mobius, Sylvie
Subject: Fingering, foreplay, french kissing, angst reader, dominant Loki, makeup sex,  Loki season 2 (non spoiler smut) , 18+ ONLY,
Intercourse, doggy style, slow burn emotional sex,
Words:1.4k
(I wish I could watch Loki again for the first time. I love the aesthetic. It’s probably the only MCU show I’m able to keep up with at the moment. Everything else is not on my agenda lately to be written about.) Wrote this late at night tired af 🤡
Tumblr media
You TemPad back into the TVA with burning red eyes trying to hold back the tears. There was nothing in your mind that mattered but some sheer solitude away from loki. He completely messed up your life. He was just a regular variant that needed to be controlled. What made him seem like he was any different from the rest? Maybe you were the weaker link in the TVA that he was able to manipulate the most.
You stood in the middle of the TVA main monitor before striding down the hall toward a vacant interrogation room. You slumped down in the chair and exhaled. Loki was under Mobius' responsibility and couldn’t run off without knowing his where abouts at all times. This was your chance to disconnect from whatever was happening. Mobius warned you many times before to stay away from him but you couldn’t help wondering what made this man think he was different from the rest of the variants at the TVA. Every flirtatious moment, slight touch and seductive gazed sent major shivers down your spine when he was even near you. Loki was helping you guys track down the unknown variant but little did you know that the same viarant apparently named “Sylvie” was something of his own new desire.
You heard a slight presence from somewhere in the dark room. “I told you, didn't I? Mobius lingered from behind. “Please leave me alone in my own thoughts for a second before you rub it in my face” “Nahhh I think this is all too good of a moment to pass up” Mobius slid his hands in his pockets. “I wouldn’t worry about it too much, just think about it for a sec…the guy fell for a female version of himself.. That isn’t someone worth gloating about... trust me” Mobius stood across from the table. “Well you know you can't help who you fall in love with” you whispered. “That doesn’t exist here. You had a job to do, and you preferred to be selfish and cause more timelines to branch out. I hope you’re happy”
“You and I both know that wasn’t the plan” you retorted.
“None of this was (Y/N)!.. “ He scoffed. Now you are a part of a case that I do not want my own friend involved in. It just became personal and more difficult, so I hope I won’t have to prune you.”
“Don’t worry. you won’t” you flipped your TemPad open and vanished.
.............................
“I care about you Sylvie and quite honestly I did at one point wanted to be with you but I don’t really like you in that way .” Loki reached out for Sylvie sitting down. “Look it doesn’t not matter what I think, the TVA is in complete shambles and that’s really the only thing that makes me happy at the moment.”
Loki looked up at Sylvie’s face and noticed a glimpse of hurt. “I think you’re a pain in the ass,” he chuckled. “Why? You got what you wanted but do you realize it won’t include you if there isn't a timeline to begin with?”
Sylvie slid down off of the truck. “ I meant every last word. Now excuse me, I’ll like to enjoy my peace.” With a brush against Loki’s shoulder, Sylvie walked back into the restaurant.
Loki pinched his nose. His patience was running thin with everyone. For the love of god, he loved both you and Sylvie but only he couldn’t go back to the godly way of juggling several women at once. All he could think about was you right now and being wrapped up in your sheer company. Maybe he should just let Sylvie be alone for a while, he was sure she would be okay for the “time” being. First, he needed to find you and make sure you were not going to disappear from the end of time.
The gentle breeze swept your face as you inhaled the beautiful air from outside. You watched from across the street an amazing white picket fence house with a red truck parked right outside the garage. You moved your hands in your pocket and watched your variant self with a yoga mat and gigantic hand bag in the other. Also resting between your ear and shoulder was your phone talking extremely loud to whatever person there was. Just look at you, you did a sly smile to yourself and felt the sheer joy of seeing not only a different version of yourself but the most regular you but with Loki in it too. There he went trying to walk to the mailbox looking at maybe letters? Bills? Who knows. But it made you happy. Your variant self drove off in a hurry and waved Loki bye in the process. You wondered what it would be like to meet this version of him. Would he still look at you the same? Touch you? Or would he come off as a weird delusional variant? It wouldn’t hurt to try to see. Before you could take another step closer a strong arm wrapped around your waist and pulled you into another dimension.
You lunged toward an unknown bedroom. You turned to meet Loki’s gaze staring right at you.
“Why?’ That’s all you could spit out. “I’m pretty sure I’m the last person you need to talk to save the universe? Am I not correct?”
“Listen, I can explain” Loki gently closed the gap between you too. “I don’t need to hear your lies” you didn’t even want to look at his face.
“(Y/N) please I love you” he took your hands into his and gave you those big pleading eyes.
“What about Sylvie? Isn’t she more important?” You wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. “Just a friend my dearest” he brushed your hot cheek with his thumb. Oh how much you missed his touch.
“I’ll prove it to you” he slowly pressed his lips against yours. You moan into his mouth and let him take the lead. “I’ve always loved you and only you” he kissed the crook of your neck and sucked on the area that made you squirm. Your hands roamed between his loose strands of raven black hair. You gasped, making your grip harder around his shoulders. You backed away and slipped off your TVA jacket and pulled your shirt off.
“May I?” Loki gestured toward your pants and gently undid your buttons. He locked his lips onto yours wanting access with his tongue. You hummed letting him dance around your mouth. His hands pulled your pants down leaving you with nothing but bare lace panties. Loki let fingers slip into your bare wetness. You bite your lip watching him dance his fingers around your clit in slow strokes.
“Oh how much I’ve wanted to pleasure you” Loki soft fingers builded up the milky white wetness of your flower while you cry out in moans into his ear.
“Loki” you whispered, grinding your hips to his hand. His pace quickened while he devoured your neck with his wet tongue. Your fingers scratched his jacket wanting more of him inside.
“Please” you breathed. Loki pulled his fingers away and sucked his fingers clean of your juices.
“Lay down” he gently gestured you toward the bed.
“I want you on your hands and knees dear” You do as you were told and kneel with your bare ass in the air.  You hear the sound of a belt buckle before Loki adjusted your hips toward his entrance. You gently hitched your breath feeling him tease his tip inside your wet dripping folds.
“Are you ready my love?” he bent over nibbling at your ear. Moaning while you feel him fill you up.
‘Y-yes” you breathed. Loki smirked, ready to make you his.

CoD x TEW AU ??
Price as Sebastian Castellanos
Gaz as Joseph Oda
Graves as Juli Kidman
Soap as Tatiana Gutierrez
Roba as Ruvik (Ruben Victoriano)
Ghost as Leslie Withers
-
We're gunna get into Ghost and Roba first.
Now, picking Ghost to be Leslie is weird, right? I bet you think that's strange. But hear me out.
Leslie is tortured mentally, the game's main villain, Ruvik, is after him specifically.
Ghost has been tortured in every which way by the comic's main villain, Roba.
If you've watched gameplay, or have played TEW, then you know that Ruvik is supernatural of sorts. Fazing in and out of reality, speaking into someone's head, manipulating environment and terrain, can control hallucinations etc...
He's something unavoidable.
A little like how Roba is. There's no doubt Ghost is traumatized, he canonically is. Like Leslie, he cannot 'feel properly'.
Leslie has a multitude of disorders that causes that for him, and Ghost does too.
PTSD, Autism, Anxiety, to name a few.
Leslie is unknowingly running himself right into Ruvik's trap, having programmed the kid into going right where he wanted him because of fear.
And think. How does Roba get Ghost to win all this brawls? Fear. Fear of getting a worse punishment, fear of dying, fear of doing wrong. Roba got him to do what he wanted because of that, even if he didn't ever fully break the man.
Roba can control Ghost, like how Ruvik controls Leslie.
-
Graves as Juli Kidman
As the game progresses, you learn that Juli isn't working for the police, but a company called MOBIUS. She is an undercover operative, watching Sebastian and Joseph and trying to guide them into doing what the company wanted.
Sounds familiar.
MOBIUS would be either Shepherd or Shadow Company in this case.
-
Price as Sebastian Castellanos. It only makes sense.
Sebastian's daughter is dead, and his wife disappeared. He is sent into beacon mental hospital with Joseph and Juli, but they were unknowing of what she would do at that point. He is the main detective, their superior. He is an alcoholic and a smoker. (There's one scene where he almost dies and tries to go for a cigarette but his box is empty. He gets pissed) But, his coworker, Joseph, has been a rock, really.
In a few ways, I could see Gaz being Price's rock at times. Through hell or heaven, whatever he needed. He'd pick him up drunk from a bar and help him home if he needed to. There's gotta be horrors in Price's life outside of work, I'm sure of it.
-
Gaz as Joseph.
Joseph is one man Sebastian undoubtedly trusts, even after filing an IA report on him for being drunk on the job. But not because he didn't work well, but because he was a danger to himself.
There's times where Gaz steadies out Price as well, like when Laswell was taken and some parts of MW19.
-
Soap as Tatiana. This one was a hard pick, really. Between Gaz and Soap.
But in the end I pick Soap.
Tatiana is the women Price sees when he blacks out, or stares in a mirror (and gets teleported to a different place). She helps him with 'upgrades', some trauma, and weaponry. She helps with save slots as well. She's basically a checkpoint.
But she's also sassy and very experienced.
Like Soap. He also fucks around some and pretends to be a cunt.
That's.. that's about it- I might switch Soap and Gaz again

Today I’ve seen not one but a number of posts about Mobius’ possible death/sacrifice by the end of s2. (Here a great analysis of Mobius arc by @kiteblue42 part 1 and part 2)
And on one hand I kinda see it too. Like, explanations and analysis make sense, totally. Frighteningly so. I love Mobius and I want no one else in this role but Owen Wilson. He’s brilliant, funny and consistent. He’s also very handsome but it’s not my point
But on the other, when something slowly becomes obvious to a part of viewers, will it really happen?
I mean, for example, the time loop stuff is very on the nose. We don’t need any deep symbolism or details to pick that up. By 2023 everybody has seen a bunch (or at least a couple) of beautifully developed time travel stories with all sorts of outcomes and combinations, paradoxes and ways of t-travelling. Will a time loop happen? I guess so. it has to, otherwise it would be impossible to save Loki in s2e1. But since we already know a certain part of what happens, it would make sense to have a twist that no one (or only very few) could think about. Something that will make this particular time travel story memorable, and worth viewers’ anticipation and time.
Timely’s connection or becoming HWR has been also pointed out. This one is a bit less easy to see. But there are still plans for Kang’s dynasty phase, regardless of Majors being recast or not, and they will have to do an explanation, so the movies can be watched separately from the series and still make sense. What I mean is, they might postpone confirming/debunking this bit till later in the current mcu phase, so Timely might stay Timely till the end of s2.
Mobius’s death theme is even more subtle. Here you have to dig and ponder a bit. But his thinking about problems at hand and enjoying small things on the go kinda give the vibe of someone who lives fast. Or is it just me? He doesn’t wear protective gear (he did once during Roxxcart mission in s1e2) and is so vulnerable but evades danger. For how long? Will there be a heart breaking scene where Loki tries to save Sylvie and Mobius at the same time and has to make an impossible choice? Let me grab some cracker jacks 🍿
In s1e4 he is pruned but is actually alive in the void, in s2e1 he survives the Loom experience (purely by chance at that point), so viewers would (intuitively) think, he had fatal adventures, survived and now he’s invincible to all harm by the laws of cinema. But, when he put on that chunky suit and it had a crack in the visor, and all of it was made basically into a joke, I thought to myself, also jokingly, well, that’s it, Mobius has been marked by death but is temporarily healed with a piece of duct tape; now just wait till the duct tape falls off!

Cybernetics - Chapter 28
Amy Rose is a mechanic, plain and simple. But aside from that, she feels utterly alone in a cruel world where she makes just enough to scrape by. One night she’s visited by a mysterious Cyborg that needs his arm fixed, little does she know this repair will change her life.
Flung from the confines of her normal life, Amy finds herself working with Anarchists set on creating a new life for themselves and the poor people of Mobius. The only downside? Seeing who she thought was her best friend fight against her.

“With so many of us on the ship it should be easy to overwhelm him. He’ll risk damaging his own ship if he tries to fire from outside.”
“The most difficult part is getting away before the ship explodes.”
Blaze and Whisper explain passionately to the group of Mobians before them. Admittedly, it's a bit shocking to Amy that their small group has doubled in size in the last day or so. Though she still didn’t love or completely trust Sonic or Tails or Knuckles, they all shared at least one common goal– and that was the goal they were currently set to act on.
Shadow had eventually come back, though he’d yet to speak a word to anyone. Even now, he glared wordlessly at Blaze and Whisper as they stood at the head of the room explaining the plan. While everyone else had taken a seat– be it on a couch, chair, or floor– Shadow had opted to lean against the wall in a dark corner.
At first Amy had chocked it up to normal, broody, solo working Shadow behavior– but now it was more clear to her. He felt betrayed.
In her time working with them she’d only known him to trust two mobians. Rouge and Blaze. Of course he felt some amount of betrayal from the fact that Blaze had seemingly suddenly turned on him to get Sonic– someone he hated– on their team. She could only imagine she’d be pretty pissed if he suddenly wanted to bring Tails on as a new mechanic.
It was then that she realized she was staring as their eyes met and he stared back. Amy jumped for a moment before returning her gaze to the front of the room. She could feel his eyes boring into the side of her head. She glanced over again, this time he looked away.
“Everyone got that?”
When the room echoed a resounding yes Amy was confronted with the fact that she had not, in fact, got that. She had been too busy analyzing Shadow.
“Alright. Break for an early wakeup.” Blaze clapped her hands once and the room erupted into movement.
Sonic and Tails seemed to hightail it out while Omega went back to rest mode. Amy stood and went to move to Rouge, but watched as she got stopped by Knuckles. The echidna android seemed to be speaking passionately about something. Rouge looked tiredly over to Amy with a roll of her eyes, seemed like she wouldn’t be getting out of that one any time soon.
“Did you need something?”
“Ack!” Amy exclaimed, jumping forward a bit and whipping around.
Shadow stood, arms crossed, behind her. He tilted his head at her reaction.
“Jeeze, scared me.” She sighed.
“Did you need something?” He repeated, “You stared at me for a whole three minutes during that meeting.”
“Oh. Right. Sorry. I didn’t mean to.” She responded sheepishly, “I was worried when you disappeared and then I got caught up thinking about how… I get it. I guess.”
“You get it?”
“Yeah, I mean–” Amy shifted to stand on her other leg, shoving her hands in her pockets with a shrug, “-- I’d be pissed off if I were you too. Blaze really kind of played dirty on this one.”
Shadow didn’t respond, glancing away. Seemed like he had other stuff on his mind.
“Sorry. I know you guys have been working together for a while. That's just how I saw it.”
Again, silence. But after a moment he looked back.
“You didn’t get any of that plan, did you?” He asked.
“...No.”
“Come on.” He beckoned as he made his way out of the room, “So they made replica ships…”
-
This organization ran even deeper than Amy could’ve imagined.
A decked out underground bunker was not on her list of things she would’ve expected after she spent so many days in that dirty, abandoned looking base.
Here, things were teeming with life. Different resistance workers filled every corner, and they each seemed to have their own job. Now she stood before one that was making sure the ship was all set for take off– they scribbled notes on a clipboard and tapped pieces of metal to make sure they were tight.
“Ready for round two?” Rouge landed next to her with a grin, leaning on her shoulder.
Amy stumbled a bit but regained her balance to look back over.
“Well, now that I don’t have a concussion I think our flying should be a bit smoother.”
Rouge laughed and patted her on the head.
“The computer inside the ship has a docking sequence pre-installed that we scraped from the other ship. Then we made our own AI to control the path you take to Dr. Robotnik’s own ship. You shouldn’t have to lift a finger.” The technician reassured as they finished their inspection and turned back to the duo.
“Thanks.” Rouge smiled and nodded as the technician walked away. Amy sighed.
“I’m sorry we can’t bring Omega. It feels like I just fixed him to help us out and he's already getting left behind…”
“It's not your fault,” Rouge scolded, “he's just too big to fit in one of these things.”
The duo looked over to the entry of the underground hangar- Omega stood by the door, fiddling clumsily with some sort of cube Tails had handed him a while ago. His large fingers prodded the thing until it flipped over, his eyes would flash in surprise, and then he would go back to prodding the cube.
“Blaze said your flight suits are in the locker room down to the right.” Shadow’s voice came from their left.
“Wooow, outfit change for the big guy.” Rouge whistled with a grin, moving to pat Shadow on the shoulder. As Amy looked over she saw Shadow duck away from her playful grip, a scowl on his face. But she could see the softness behind it all.
Amy was struck with realizing the last time she’d seen him without his cloak she’d been very disoriented, now that she was thinking clearly she could tell how strong he really was. His flight suit had been cut at the shoulders to make room for his cyborg arms, but the flight suit clung tightly to his otherwise toned body. Red piping down either side of his chest and up his neck, a utility belt broke the top from the bottom- though the red piping continued down his legs to his rocket shoes. When he turned to push Rouge away again she could just barely see the hidden zipper on his back, fabric cut with slits to allow his quills and tail to poke through.
Just then, that very slow moment cut back to reality as she shook her head slightly and looked up to make eye contact with Shadow and Rouge.
“Did Blaze colorcode everyone?” She joked.
“Yes.” Shadow responded, a hundred percent serious.
“Oooh, I wonder what color I got.” Rouge hummed, making her way over to Amy and looping her arm through the pink hedgehog’s, “Stop looking at the eyecandy and get changed, would you?” Rouge muttered in her ear with a grin.
“Hey!” Amy exclaimed, turning to follow Rouge’s drag.
The android laughed, loud enough for some of the other groups to glance over and see what was happening. Amy felt her muzzle heat up as she gave in to silently following Rouge.
-
After the events in the hangar, Amy was a bit more embarrassed by her flight suit.
It was the inverse of Shadow’s, red with black piping. It hugged her carefully, but now that she could feel the material she could tell it was made to be protective and easy to fight in. She pulled on the black boots Blaze had issued and tugged at the neckline of the suit. Her face had cooled considerably, but her mind lingered on the embarrassment from what Rouge had said.
She hadn’t really fully considered it before that moment, but Shadow was attractive. He had a more angular shape to him, one that might seem dangerous at first- but in reality she’d come to find it to be a protective one. Like he had honed himself and his skills to protect what he cared about. His stare was always intense, and he always stood like he knew exactly what he was doing at any given moment. He was a rock, a safe place, a guardian, a protector. Shadow was all those things, and moreover, he was attractive both inside and out. Fine, she could give him that. But that wasn’t the sort of thing she would act on. The idea of it sent a swarm of nauseating butterflies to her stomach. She was quite sure that he saw her as a little, untrained nuisance. She was sure she’d brought him more trouble than she was worth. What was more than that, when she looked in the mirror Amy saw a little girl. She saw a flight suit that didn’t fit right. She saw her petite stature next to Rouge and thought about how girlish she looked in comparison. She wasn’t the right fit for anyone, let alone him. She was-
Wait.
Amy stopped and stared in the mirror a little harder. She’d never thought like that before- at least not that intensely. She ran her hands along her sides and rested them at her hips, leaning on one foot to jut one hip out. She looked fine. She looked like her. The sudden wash of anxiety faded, though didn’t disappear, and she breathed deeply. Nothing like that was ever worth that much stress, right now least of all. What she needed to do now was get through this mission, she needed to focus on that. Not whatever all of this ‘was she good enough’ and ‘finding Shadow attractive’ bullshit was. Seriously, not the time.
“Look at us!” Rouge exclaimed, rounding a corner from behind her to stand in the mirror next to Amy.
Her flight suit was a light pink with white piping, and she posed next to Amy.
“Pink looks nice on you.” Amy commented.
“Thank you.” Rouge smiled down at her.
The two girls stared at each other in the mirror for a moment before Amy finally turned to Rouge.
“We should probably go and do what we’re actually here to do.”
Rouge laughed,
“Let's go.”

"We've located him, but…" The way that Mobius glanced at Ouroboros and trailed off, Ravonna knew that he was about to break something to her very gently that she wasn't going to like. She steeled herself for it against the workshop counter, but she was pretty sure she already knew what was coming.
"He's in a branched timeline. We sent an agent in. He…won't remember you."
There it was.
"I don't care." Her response was out almost before he could finish his sentence. It was pretty much the worst case scenario. The smile she felt herself forcing was extremely tight, but it was all she could do to keep from crying in that moment. "I don't care. I'm not leaving him there. He doesn't belong there."
Mobius nodded, and she wasn't sure which was worse—his sympathetic expression or the fact that he couldn't seem to meet her eyes. He'd never really had that problem before. He also didn't immediately come up with solutions or suggestions, which was his usual way of handling things. No doubt he and OB had already discussed everything before she arrived for the update and they felt there was no good way to fully get her husband or his memory back since the TVA itself had been unkind and sent him away.
If there were even memories left within him to retrieve. That was the difficult part of a broken down TVA, wasn't it? The uncertainty of what happened when it glitched somehow, no way of really knowing if it wiped minds thoroughly or left remnants behind like He Who Remains did.
But him not having his memories wasn't going to stop her from going to his branch and doing her best to bring him home. In the past, her more insecure days, she might have left him there for his own good; her mind would've made her believe he was better off..and maybe he was, all things considered. It was no secret he was the best of them both. Everyone thought so.
But now, she owed it to him to go. He would've never given up on her if the situation were reversed. She wasn't about to give up on him.
"Give me the information."
Tumblr media
Within hours, she was down on the timeline. His branch. From a bench across the street, dressed in appropriate clothing for the time, she watched him arrive at the building she had been surveilling for about an hour, heart leaping into her throat when she saw him stop and talk to someone just outside the doors and then laugh. There was no real concept of time in the TVA, but she knew it had been entirely too long since she'd seen and heard that laugh. Weeks? Months?
Could she even possibly get through this? She was beginning to have her doubts. Her heart felt like it was going to pound out of her chest and a before she knew it, she was fishing in her bag for a tissue. It didn't hurt to be prepared, and it wouldn't exactly be out of place where she was going.
By the time she looked up again, she realized he had already disappeared into the building and she cursed under her breath. She didn't want to be late. It was imperative she not be late. She jumped up and crossed the street quickly and without warning, much to the chagrin of the drivers who nearly hit her. She ignored the vulgar hand signals and yelling hurled her way by the motorists and hurriedly passed into the front doors of the building, reading the signs for her destination.
Once at the correct room—139 | Group, it read— she took a deep, shaky breath before turning the handle and opening the door. Eight sets of eyes swiveled to look at her, but only one of them mattered, and for a long moment she just stared into the blue of them, frozen. But she did just manage to get herself together and somehow smile weakly as Steve looked at her curiously. Curiously and without recognition.
Thank goodness she already expected that, not that it made her soul ache any less.
Tumblr media
"I'm sorry. I'm a new sign-up," she explained quietly. "Is it too late to join?"

Hm, Loki’s a god whether his timeline is gone or not. In that regard, he is one of them. “Them” being gods.
That “left out” comment... There’s kind of an interesting little parallel between the MCU and actual Norse mythology happening—scholars argue that Loki wasn’t a “god” and was never worshipped in ancient times. He was powerful, he was Odin’s blood-brother, he often accompanied Odin and Thor, but he was only a trickster. In a sense, he was left out.
Balder was probably an easter egg or tease, since he was supposed to be in Multiverse of Madness. He could still show up at some point somewhere.
I get what you're saying (and keep in mind I'm not watching this season so if I read a dialogue in an ask I don't really have any context and I don't know about tone, etc), but Mobius' line of "You are one of them" while they're standing in front of statues of Odin, Thor and Balder + knowing he was never truly part of that because he's a Jotun... at the very least it's tone-deaf.
I'm sure it can be interpreted as Mobius saying "You are a god, I can't believe I'm talking to an actual god", but in the context of Loki's story, it sounds a little mean. And it came after Mobius had teased him by implying he was envious because there was no statue of him.
I would be a lot less sensitive and far more accepting if the series had scenes where Loki gets to express himself and he talks about his experiences, if that so-called "enviousness" was explained, if they actually let him tell his own story then I'd be more forgiving with scenes like that one in the Fair and I'd just consider it some funny moment not meant to be taken seriously. But the problem is he never has a chance to do that, his life is always told and defined by others, and his motives are reduced to "he's envious, he got mad, he's a narcissist, etc".
I like the parallel you draw between that line and the mythology though. I can see your point but I feel like that's even more reason to have Loki take control and own it. He should prove them wrong by demonstrating he's as much a god as the others, that the mere idea of him being any lesser is bullshit and not based on reality (we saw how flawed Odin was, Thor was too but in the MCU most of their actions are protected by the narrative unlike Loki's).
I don't see the series doing this though. I only see them basically confirming he is not one of them and inferior in every way.
I didn't know that about Balder and MoM though, so thanks for letting me know. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall in those meetings, I'm imagining Waldron and the others thinking of a million characters to include and someone asking "Uh, do we need to have Stephen Strange in this one too?". 🤦‍♀️

Pt. 1: My apologies in advance for the essay this is gonna be but I've been rewatching Loki s1 and. On a first watch I resigned myself to what seemed the inevitable heterosexuality of Marvel's choices, but rewatching now it's wild how much a Lokius reading of s1 sticks the landing, despite the apparent Sylkie triumph??
See. Okay for starters. Taking as read the adorable speedrun at which Loki and Mobius start revolving around one another and Mobius sticks his neck out for Loki and Loki lights up like the sun under Mobius’ attention. I don't think Loki's betrayal was inevitable. Sure he’s telling himself it is, grasping for a sense of continuity with himself, but when he chooses to run after Sylvie there’s real hesitation. (I don’t think he’d ever just go ‘yeah TVA fascism seems cool!’ but I think part of him was starting to wonder whether there was a way forward with Mobius instead of against him).
Specifically in this watch it hit me so hard that right before he runs after Sylvie he has this exchange with B-15 and Mobius:
Loki: “You can trust me. I understand I have to earn that, so, I will.”
Mobius: “Why is it the people you can’t trust are always saying ‘trust me’?”
And it lingers on Loki after that. Mobius walks away, and Loki watches him go.
Then I think about the fight with Sylvie at the end of time, Loki referring to himself as someone who categorically cannot be trusted even though he has no intent to betray her—because even though he knows he's changed, he’s lied too many times for anyone to reasonably put faith in him. So I just imagine him in this exchange with Mobius being on the cusp of meaning it, of really truly considering earning trust and then honest to goodness being trustworthy, only to think—if even Mobius can’t believe him. Where is the good in being trustworthy if he nevertheless cannot be trusted?
And so he regresses. In ep1 he says “you can trust no one but yourself”, which Mobius hand-waves as a cynical platitude. But in the very moment it seems there is no path forward with Mobius, Loki is in a position to make that platitude reality. Sylvie—a person he currently thinks of as himself—is there. Perhaps Loki could have trusted Mobius; but surly he can trust this other himself more? And, perhaps even more crucially, it may be that he himself is the only creature in the universe who can trust him back. Perhaps he himself is thereby the only one it is possible to build a relationship with.
And so when the moment comes, he runs after Sylvie. But even so, he hesitates. Is torn. And I wonder truly if, had that exchange with Mobius not just occurred, he might have made a different choice. Even so early as that.
But the really interesting stuff is when you properly get into ‘Sylkie’.
(Continued in Pt2. Once more. I am sorry)
Wanted to post your messages in opposite order so part 1 is above 2 and hopefully makes the entire thing a bit easier for anyone who wants to read through all of it at once, so I hope it's all right that I kept the bulk of my reply to part 2!
It honestly means so much that you'd think of me when wanting to discuss the show or be excited about new thoughts or theories running through your mind so please don't think of apologizing for a moment 💖

POST S2 FINALE DRABBLE
everybody moved on i... i stayed there
he knew that this was how things had to be. what loki had done, the selfless move he made... mobius knew that it was what had to be in order to save, well... everything. them, the tva, the timelines... the multiverse.
but that didn't mean that he had to like it, did it? that didn't mean that he had to feel okay with the way that things were now afterwards.
it was ironic, wasn't it? that now, the tva was thriving, everyone had felt that wash of relief and gratitude to loki for what he had done, for them, for all of them, and yet mobius didn't feel like he'd left that spot behind that door... looking through the window at loki as he offered that gut-wrenching smile that mobius had known meant that it would be the last time he saw him. didn't feel like he'd left that spot behind the bigger window, watching as loki took hold of all of the timelines and breathed life into them, watching as he disappeared with them and left in his place that tree formed of the brances...
it felt selfish, but as he'd wandered through the tva, as he'd sat at his desk that had not long since been occupied by someone else too... it didn't feel right anymore. it didn't feel like home anymore.
he'd always thought that the tva was home, but the time that loki had spend there with him, that was what had really felt like home. before? he'd just been... playing the part. oblivious to the true bigger picture of things, manipulated and moulded to be what he was. but loki? loki had opened his eyes and had filled everything with colour. he'd lit a spark and offered it to him, and the time that they'd spent together? whether it was the adventure and adrenaline of missions, or simply just loki's company while sat together in the canteen or at his desk... he missed that now. he'd grown so fond of it and now it was gone.
and now... now that loki had taken on the burden of protecting the timelines, the burden that mobius felt as though he was left with was missing him. it felt as though there was such a huge gap now. as though there was an empty space beside him that nothing or no one else would be able to fill.
now he was stood on the timeline, looking out towards a house that's his, well, a version of him anyway. one that new nothing other than a life with his kids and his job. and it looked wonderful, it did... he hadn't been lying when he'd said to sylvie that it was the best house on the block, because he imagined it truly was. and yes, he knew he could just go back... that this was his life at one point, and that he had every right to go back to it, but... as good as it seemed, he knew that he'd still feel as though something was missing. he knew he would still feel that empty space. he'd still know.
so he stayed stood there. even after sylvie had left through her time door. an uncomfortable sort of middle-ground. watching the life that he could have, while still longing for the one he knew he couldn't have. how long would he stay here? he didn't know. maybe he'd stay like this forever, just holding on to some sort of false hope that somehow, things might end up different.
and he couldn't help but wonder, could loki see him? could loki see anything of the timelines? was there some way that despite loki being alone now, he could still see everything he did it for?
they expected me to find somewhere, some perspective, but i sat and stared... ...right where you left me

With a little help from my friend
Summary:
Loki prepares a surprise for Mobius with the help of Croki. It was without counting on the bad weather.
Notes:
So happy to write this for Rina on the All About Lokius discord server as part of the fic/art prompt swap. That was an amazing prompt to work on.

Loki rolled up his sleeves.
"Here is perfect!"
"Fnnarl!"
Loki looked down at Croki and replied, "Yes, do you agree? You'd really have to be picky. A white sandy beach, the cloudless sky."
"Fnrlll Fraal."
"What, the weather is going to change? Are you a meteorologist now? Well, you stay here, I'll get everything and be right back. You have the right to show your teeth to anyone who comes near this place."
Croki gave him a sort of machiavellian smile that showed all his teeth.
Loki looked at the little list he had made with the help of Casey and Hunter B-15.
Loki looked at the little list he had made with the help of Casey and Hunter B-15. His two friends had been a great help and had even agreed to keep Mobius busy while he prepared this surprise. They were working so hard right now, and Mobius more than the others, so Loki wanted to give them a little time apart.
Candles
Blankets
Mobius' Favorite Snacks
Josta Cocktail
Jetski
He had everything in his dimensional pocket, all he needed was the jetski. He walked back along the beach where he had spotted rental stores.
Since he had granted Mobius' wish the first time, he never missed an opportunity for Mobius to enjoy his favorite hobby. Nothing was more beautiful to see than Mobius' joy as he rode his jetski through the waves. So free and so happy.
As he returned to Croki after arranging the delivery of the jetski to their beach spot, he replayed in his mind the organization of their little evening.
He couldn't help but chuckle when he saw someone running away while Croki grunted as a brave little protector of the little beach spot.
He leaned toward him, "My brave little alligator! You'll get a great reward when we get home."
"Fbaarrl" Croki growled proudly.
Loki clapped his hands, "Okay. Here we go."
He pulled everything he needed from his dimensional pocket.
"First the blanket."
He spread out a shimmering colored blanket.
"Fnarrrl."
"Yes, I know. I was the one who picked it out. I have good taste, don't I?"
"Pfffrt"
"I see Mister Croki is laughing at me. Maybe I'll lower your reward after all."
"Fnaaaaarrrl"
"Hey!"
Loki felt a little nip on his ankle.
"Well okay, a full reward."
He took out four candles, which he charmed so they wouldn't die out, and placed them in the four corners of the blanket.
He took out a cool box and began to nicely present everything he had prepared.
"Mr. Loki?"
He turned around and a young man dressed as a surfer asked, "We brought the jetski." He pointed to the car nearby with the jetski on the trailer and continued, "Where do you want us to put it."
Loki pointed to the sea, "Over there at the end of that jetty."
"All right."
Loki didn't worry about them and continued his preparations.
He brought out dishes lined with various and sundry petit fours, placed on a nice bed of green salad.
"Fnnnrllak."
"Yes, yes, this is the freshest salad I could find."
"Fnaral."
Loki sighed, "Yes I know I ruined his salad once. I was there."
"Fnnnrl."
"What? How can you say he doesn't like cheese crackers. You've never seen him gobble them up when we watch TV. I should consider myself lucky to be able to eat one."
Loki pulled out the two cocktail glasses he had charmed to keep them cool and not spill. He was proud to have found a cocktail made with Josta and red wine.
"No, no, no Croki, not for you. Last time you licked a drop of beer you scared half the TVA!"
"Fnnnnrl."
"You know I'm right."
Loki stood up and checked to make sure everything was ready, he turned to the jetty, the jetski was firmly in place. The sun was starting to meet the line of the sea, it was perfect.
He turned his hand to use his magic and change. He was in a swimsuit and green sarong that he knew flattered his figure and the little finishing touch, a tiare flower in his hair.
"Frrrlll"
"It's not you I want to please, so I don't care what you think. Come on, I'll get Mobius to come, shoo shoo!"
"Fnnnnrrrl" Croki let out a long disapproving growl before moving quietly under a palm tree.
Loki pulled out his tempad, "Casey, it's okay you can bring him in, I'll send you the coordinates."
A few moments later, Mobius crossed the time door right next to what Loki had prepared.
"Loki? Loki! Wow!"
Loki stepped forward with a smile and bowed slightly, "Welcome."
Mobius looked around and then back at Loki, his eyes full of admiration, "I'm repeating myself, but wow, this is gorgeous, you... you're gorgeous."
Then he looked at himself and said softly, "I look a little bit out of place."
Loki smiled mischievously, "Nothing I can't fix, my love."
He waved his hand and Mobius found himself dressed in a sarong that matched Loki's, but in orange tones. "There, Perfect."
Loki walked over and, tying his arms around Mobius's neck, he said softly, "Now, you just enjoy this night, forget about everything that isn't us, okay?"
Mobius pushed a strand of hair that was flying behind Loki's ear and replied, "Absolutely okay, my good fairy."
Loki chuckled, "So if I'm the good fairy, then you're the prince. I just hope you don't let me down when the clock strikes twelve."
Mobius kissed the tip of his nose, "Not a chance."
Then Loki turned to the jetty, pointing to the jetski, "And if my prince wants to..."
Mobius shook his head and replied, "I'm more interested in enjoying you and what you have prepared for me, sweetheart."
Loki pulled him towards the blanket and at that moment the wind blew away the flower in his hair and he noticed that clouds were gathering in the sky.
"No, no, no!!! " he began to panic, "That damn alligator was right when he told me it was going to rain. My surprise is completely ruined!"
Mobius calmed him down by putting his hand on his shoulder, "Loki, sweetie, calm down. It doesn't matter. It's already wonderful that you've organized this sur..."
Mobius looked up, gasped and continued almost in a whisper, "…..prise"
"What?" Loki was surprised at Mobius' reaction.
"That." Mobius pointed above them, Loki saw that a green dome was unfolding over the two of them, enclosing them in a protective bubble.
Mobius embraced Loki and exclaimed, "Loki, this is great! You had a brilliant idea."
Loki, dumbfounded, with his chin on Mobius' shoulder replied, "Me? But I don't-"
He interrupted himself because he saw Croki, a little far away, who had put one of his claws on his mouth as if to say shhh and winked at him.
Loki smiled widely and whispered without sound, so that Croki could understand him, "Double reward."
Croki waved one of his little fingers and music seemed to come out of nowhere.
I'm so in love with you
Whatever you want to do
Is all right with me
'Cause you make me feel so brand new
And I want to spend my life with you
Loki stepped aside and held out his hand to Mobius in an elegant manner, "Will my prince dance with me?"
Mobius smiled and grasped the outstretched hand, "Lead me."
Loki tied his arms around Mobius' neck and whispered as his lover placed his hands on the god's waist, "For all time, always."
Then they began to sway to the music.
Let me say that since, baby, since we've been together
Ooh, loving you forever
Is what I need
Let me, be the one you come running to
I'll never be untrue
Oh baby
Let's, let's stay together ('gether)
Lovin' you whether, whether
Times are good or bad, happy or sad
Their eyes lost in each other, alone in their world, they did not see Croki who also moved his snout to the rhythm of the music.
Loving you whether, whether
Times are good or bad, happy or sad
Come on
Let's, woo (let's stay together) let's stay together
Loving you whether, whether times are good or bad.

hi! I love your fics :) since you mentioned a hypothetical sequel to Mobius Strip (I would love to see that!!) in that ask, I'm curious: which stevetony fics of yours would you be open to writing a sequel for, if any?
Ooh I love this question!
So my fics Mobius Strip, Every True Thing, Information Exchange,The Culling of the Stars, The Truth Is, Message in a Bottle, the same conversation, And the Wind Blows Cruel, Slant Rhyme, and others, all end soon after Steve and Tony get together, if not immediately after or even directly before! They also all have a particular main Thing that’s happening--Steve returning the Stones, Tony being dead or presumed dead, a specific misunderstanding, a truth serum or spell or mental connection, etc. I stopped those stories where those Things end or are no longer causing conflict. So if I were to follow-up on them, it would be either a little epilogue of pretty much plotless fluff of their lives after they’ve been together for a while, OR it would be a full-on sequel where a new Thing has happened that brings up new problems for their relationship. I don’t see myself coming up with anything like that for any of them, but if I do (or someone has a suggestion I like!), I will write it!
When I first posted Personal Use, I thought of it as being in the same category. To me, it seemed easy to extrapolate that Tony would eventually talk to Steve about the toy and they’d get together and live happily ever after. But people kept asking about a sequel and I realized that isn’t really implied at all, and that, in fact, Steve having the toy could be a delightful new Thing for them to deal with. So that’s Internal Use!
I’d been struggling with the 3rd part of the series--tentatively titled Shared Use--in which they actually date each other. You can see in Internal Use that I was trying to set up some subplots with Pepper, Sam, Bucky, Rhodey, Morgan, and Friday. Unfortunately, Falcon and Winter Soldier looks to be too triggering for me to watch, so I won’t be able to include its canon in my sequel. That had me stuck for awhile. Now, what I’m developing instead is a stripped-down version of my original outline that focuses on Steve, Tony, and Friday, with Steve and Tony separately talking to their friends about what’s going on with them, but no one else having a subplot of their own. It starts with the aftermath of Steve and Tony’s first fight since they started dating. It may or may not contain actual tentacle sex. (Sorry, tentacle sex fans! I know I promised.)
For other fics, like the one I talked about here, I already have a sequel in mind. In fact, I’ve started writing it already! (I’m trying to focus on finishing the first one but the sequel is shiny and new...)

i don’t really think it’s fair to say or imply that Loki was Mobius’ slave, or even the TVA’s. Mobius is just doin his job for one. And for another, Loki is a criminal, even if he wasn’t in his right mind when he invaded earth, he still invaded it. he does still have to pay for that, and in that light, the TVA went easy on him. Maybe their relationship shouldn’t have been presented as quite so friendly, but I think they were friends by the end of the season and saying all this awful stuff about Mobius being Loki’s jailer captor enslaver torturer and whatever…it’s too far and there’s no real canon basis for it.
ah yes, of course, bad things are fine to do if someone has done bad things. because they deserve it. got it.
Listen. I'm not sure what canon you've been watching but forcing someone to work with you under threat of death is bad, lying to and blaming them for future events is bad, putting someone in intentional distress and knowing they will react bad to their mother's death and leaving the images up is bad, telling them that they were born to cause pain and suffering and death (especially when their father is Odin, their siblings are Hela and Thor) is bad, leaving someone getting beaten up and rubbing salt in their fears (even as part of 'breaking them') is bad, casually dehumanizing people (words like "pet" and "my/your Loki" and "the Variant") and pruning/resetting/killing people en masse or on an individual basis once they're of no use to you is bad, I'm not even going to continue this list because the TVA itself has such BAD vibes it's literally an authority that's enforcing it's own turn of events and calling it 'sacred' with people like Mobius/B-15/Renslayer pushing their agenda forward because they simply believe it's for the greater good while invalidating Loki's questions until the point where they personally find out they were also Variants (and still express no remorse/mention of any moral argument or lives taken, they just comment on how they could've been happy before).
Like, buddy, pal, I don't know how to tell you this but Mobius is very clearly psychologically torturing Loki in episode 1 in order to break him down and get him to join their side, I would even argue that he physically does so in exercising control of where Loki can move or how he reacts with the collar after riling him up. He does the same thing in episode 4 even more explicitly for everyone who missed it.
Arguing he advocates for or sees the best in Loki is something that doesn't have a canon basis. Every "that's not how I see it," "Is that possible? He can change?" "You could be whoever, whatever you wanna be, even someone good" is surrounded by interrogation tactics and "give my regards to Lady Sif" "What a incredible seismic narcissist" "He's softening in the Time Cell, but while he marinates..." "Just kind of an asshole and a bad friend. Yeah, chew on that for a little bit" "And, hey, if it doesn't work, I'll delete him myself."
There is explicit canon basis of these things, and whether you'd rather not acknowledge them is up to you, and I don't blame you for thinking otherwise since the narrative frames Mobius as some kind of moral pillar of righteous goodness (he ain't) and has he and Loki use the words "friends," but I want it on record I don't use words like slave or torturer or abuser lightly, and don't recall having used slaver/enslaver/captor/jailer for Mobius like you've implied either, though some of the words you've got listed would be accurate descriptions, I'd think, since Loki's only option was work for the TVA or die - until the end of Episode 3, after which he was accused of having 'betrayed' Mobius and been a 'bad friend'.
I'm not even going to address "i don’t really think it’s fair to say or imply that Loki was Mobius’ slave, or even the TVA’s [slave]" "mobius us just doin his job" "the TVA went easy on him" or "maybe their relationship shouldn’t have been presented as quite so friendly" because I don't think I'm capable of doing that without some strong language and a lot of caps lock and this post is already long enough I think.
I also want it noted that Loki's hardly done anything worse than the hero characters. Just because he's been framed as an antagonist doesn't make his own actions worse or theirs better, so do please feel free to apply the same logic you are on what Loki deserves on them too.
Here's relevant posts in the event you wish to read up: (on Mobius' inherent goodness and his job) (on Mobius' take on Frigga) (the holy grail of Loki (2021) meta masterposts) (on Loki supposedly learning to care in the show) (thor 1 loki doesn't deserve bad treatment)
#look#you're free to interpret things how you will#but there's no way episode 1 wasn't psychological torture and there's no way episode 4 wasn't at LEAST physical torture#just because it's presented as 'oh he deserves it tho bc he's a narcissist and he's in love and is a bad person owo'#doesn't mean im not going to refer to it that way#like how maybe someone interprets Frigga as a good caring motherly mother#that's well and good but i'm still going to call her a hypocrite who was gaslighting because that's literally what's happening#torturing someone makes them a torturer but even then I only use the words when specifically referring to a moment or in summary#and i'm counting the Sif thing as torture even if it's funny#even WITH the retconned backstory that's still torture#even if someone deserved it that's STILL torture#even if that's someone's job! that's! still! torture!#the act doesn't change because of context because someone is getting hurt#it's like saying ''well it's unfair to say loki attempted genocide because he was just doing what he'd been raised to do''#WHICH by the way has more supporting evidence for being morally okay to do within context than the TVA's killing#because at least Loki until the show wasn't denying any of the things he'd done or blaming others or being a hypocrite#while the TVA very much IS built on terrible concepts AND sees Loki's role as an evil scourge for not doing 0.001% of the stuff they do#AND PLEASE TAKE INTO ACCOUNT MOBIUS' TONE WHEN HE SAYS THINGS LIKE ''maybe loki can change? mix it up? is that possible?''#because not only is his voice loaded with doubt or 'eh he's useful so keep him' but he has Loki's whole life on file#he saw Loki do good before Thor 1 and in TDW and Ragnarok and Infinity War#so the entire thing just has me going AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA#YEAH loki ''betrays'' people and you LOOK AT THE LIST OF PEOPLE AND IT'S ALL VILLAINS (with the exception of Thor)#so AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA is apt methinks#the Loki show

I’m Not Half as Bad as You’ve Been Told
Pairing: Loki x Reader
Synopsis: Loki is arrested by the TVA for what he did to you
This can be read on it’s own or as a spin off of in case you don’t live forever
Masterlist
Tumblr media
Loki woke up in the Gobi Dessert in Mongolia after being ejected from the sky. The last thing he remembered was taking the tesseract after getting caught by the Avengers in New York. When he opened his eyes, he was met with four armed guards with their weapons pointed at them.
“Hunter B-15 with the Time Variance Authority here. Appears to be a standard sequence violation.” Hunter B-15 read off a small monitor. “Oh and look at that, you’re one of the TVA’s most wanted.”
“I beg your pardon?” Loki asked as he got off the ground.
“Hands up.” Hunter B-15 raised her weapon. “You’re coming with us.”
Before Loki could protest, he was knocked out and had a collar placed around his neck. He was brought to the TVA headquarters and handed off to Agent Mobius after being screened.
“Loki Laufeyson. I’m agent Mobius.” Mobius introduced himself as Loki tugged at his collar. “I hear the Time Keepers find you guilty of tampering with the sacred timeline.”
“The what?” Loki huffed.
“The sacred timeline. Looks like you stole the tesseract and committed crimes against the midgardian Y/n L/n.” The Mobius read off Loki’s file.
“Y/n?” Loki stumbled back at the unexpected mention of your name. “This is about her?”
“That’s part of your charges, yes. You’ll be given more details at your trial. But I’d ike to have a talk with you first. Come this way.” Mobius nodded towards the side and lead Loki to a room with a projector on a long conference table.
“What does this have to do with Y/n? Where is she? Is she all right?” Loki asked as he took a seat behind the projector. He had worried about you since the day you left him, even after you told him you never wanted to see him again.
“She’s fine.” Mobius assured him. “Even after you got a hold of her.”
“Is she here?” Loki hoped. “Could I see her?”
“No.” Mobius answered, making Loki’s face crumple. “She’s on Earth. You know, her home.”
“I know Midgard is her home.” Loki narrowed his eyes. “I also know how much she hated it there. But this all happened ages ago. Why am I being arrested for it now?”
“Well when you took the tesseract from its set path, the TVA was alerted and noticed that this wasn’t your first offense of tampering with the sacred time line. They saw that Y/n L/n never made it back to earth in 2019 after going to Asgard to retrieve the Aether. It went undetected at the time since the Aether made it back to earth like it was supposed to. She was supposed to go back as well, but she never made it. You were the one that kept her there.”
“How is that a crime?” Loki asked. “She wanted to stay with me. She was happy! She was happy on Asgard.”
“Was she?” Mobius raised his eyebrows and turned on the screen. “Because I think she was taken from her family, friends and home. Maybe I’m mistaken, though. Let’s take a look.”
Mobius pressed a button on a remote, and a projection appeared in front of them. Mobius began to fast forward through the foundational moments in Loki’s life until he got to what he was looking for. Loki watched in shock as an image of you, Thor, and Rocket creeping around a pillar in his home appeared on the screen. He wanted to shut his eyes and look away, but it had been so long since he’d seen you. He didn’t have the strength to look away from you now.
“I’m sure you remember why she was there.” Mobius said as he watched the scene unfold. “All she wanted was the infinity stone. She was trying to save the world. She missed her boyfriend and wanted to undo all the damage that Thanos had done. You couldn’t let her do that, could you?”
“The stone still made it back to earth.” Loki protested. “She said herself that she wasn’t an important part of the plan. And her “boyfriend” was nothing but dust particles. She-“
“Shh.” Mobius waved his hand. “The shows about to begin.”
Loki painfully returned his attention to the screen right as your first introduction played out. It was your job to distract Loki while Thor and Rocket collected the Aether.
Asgard 2013
“Who goes there?” Loki cringed at the sound of his own voice. He watched Rocket and Thor hide behind a pillar while you went out into the open. You walked into a room and found Loki lying on a couch, tossing something in the air and catching it. Loki sat up when he saw you, immediately on high alert.
“Who are you?” He demanded. “How did you get in here?”
“I’m so sorry, but my friends and I are here for the festival and I just had to sneak away to find you.” You gushed, trying to it best to look innocent. Loki took long strides towards you as he took in your appearance, highly skeptical of your story.
“My brother isn’t here.” Loki informed you, his voice thick with annoyance. “So you should best be on your way.”
“I’m not here for your brother.” You said coyly. You held his gaze as you signaled for Thor and Rocket to move to the next room.
“You’re here for me?” He cleared his throat to mask the disbelief in his voice. You nodded sweetly as Thor and Rocket snuck past you.
“Of course. My friends are obsessed with your brother, but I’ve always loved you. Won’t you show me a magic trick?” You batted your eyes flirtatiously, making a slight smirk appear on Loki’s face. Meanwhile, the present day Loki was watching the interaction with a pained expression. He remembered how it felt that first time you said you loved him. That was all he needed to hear before falling in love with you just the same.
“A magic trick?” The Loki on screen asked, mischief swirling behind his eyes.
“Well you are the God of Mischief, aren’t you?” You tilted your head to the side and looked at him through your eyelashes. A full, open mouthed smirk dressed his face now. His hand went to yours and it held it up, keeping your wrist tightly between his fingers. Loki brushed the fingers on his other hand over your palm and a diamond appeared. You looked at the beautiful diamond, weightless in your hand, and let out an unexpected gasp.
“Oh, Loki. That’s amazing.” You gave him an over dramatic sigh, but he completely fell for it. “But I don’t care much for diamonds. I haven’t any use for them.”
Loki felt a twinge of competition brewing in his chest, like he had to win your approval. You faked a yawn and his eyes gleamed with determination.
“You don’t like that? Well how about this?” Loki challenged and waved his fingers over your palm again. This time, a flower appeared. It didn’t look like any earthly flower. It was ten times more beautiful and smelled better than anything you had ever smelled before. The flowers colors were green and black with accents of gold, just like Loki’s outfit. You stared at the flower in amazement before looking up shyly at him. If you weren’t mistaken, the God of Mischief had a blush on his cheeks as he watched your face carefully for approval. Loki then picked up the flower and tucked it behind your ear. He began to lean in slightly, but you were interrupted by Thor and Rocket knocking over a vase. You noticed they had the stone and were ready to go. Luckily, you saw them before Loki did.
“What was-“ Loki began to turn his head towards the sound but you quickly put a hand behind his head and pulled him into a kiss. You felt his eyes flutter shut as you opened yours, catching sight of Rocket and Thor pretending to gag out of the corner of your eye. With one hand, you motioned for them to move. They quickly scattered and you pulled away from the kiss. Loki was fully blushing now but doing his best to conceal it, though his best wasn’t good enough. He seemed completely bewildered, making you wonder if he’d ever kissed anyone before. You touched your fingertips to your lips and felt a pang of guilt. This was your first time kissing someone other than Peter Parker in 5 years, and it made you feel guilty with how much you enjoyed it. Loki appeared to be just as lost in his thoughts as you were as he struggled to catch his breath. He ran a hand over the long black hair that you had slightly messed up in the back.
“Thanks for the flower. And for everything else. Bye!” You tried to make a quick escape, but Loki caught your arm.
“Wait!” He pulled you back towards him and looked at you with wide eyes. “Will I see you again?”
“No.” You smiled sadly. “I don’t think you will.”
“You’re not from here, are you?” He asked. “I know a Midgardian when I see one.”
“Good catch.” You let out a short laugh. “No, I’m not from here. I’m not even from this reality. I just needed to borrow something from your present. I’m from Earth, and I really have to get back.”
You tried to leave again, but Loki followed after to you and caught you by the waist. You stumbled back into his arms and blinked in surprise.
“Won’t you stay?” He asked hopefully. “We only just met. Do you have to leave so soon?”
“I do.” You frowned. “I’m sorry. I really need to go home.”
“All right.” Loki reluctantly let go of you. “If you must.”
You looked at him for a moment and chewed on your bottom lip, contemplating what to do. You looked behind you and saw Thor and Rocket preparing to leave. You motioned for them to leave without you before looking back at Loki.
“Do you have a pen?” You asked him.
“A what?”
“To write with.” You chuckled and motioned as of you were writing something down. Loki waved his hand and made a quill appear out of thin air, along with a piece of paper.
“That’ll work.” You shrugged and took the quill. You wrote your name and address down on the paper and handed it to him.
“If you’re ever on earth.” You smiled shyly. “Come find me.”
“I will.” He nodded eagerly.
“I really have to go now.” You said as you looked over your shoulder to where Thor was hiding. You turned back to Loki and gave him one last kiss, surprising the both of you.
“You’ll see me again.” You said softly. “Maybe not in this timeline, but the next.”
“That’s enough.” Loki interrupted, making the screen pause. “I know what happens. And since you’ve been studying me all my life as you claim, so do you. We don’t need to watch anymore.”
“I get it, you’re impatient.” Mobius held up his hands. “We can fast forward. How about we go to the part where you used magic to break her suit? Your brother was able to get back to Earth just fine, but she was stuck on Asgard. All because of you.”
Mobius pointed a remote at the screen and fast forwarding through Loki sneaking you to his bed chambers. He stopped when he got to you and Loki sitting on his silk sheeted bed.
“I don’t know why it won’t work.” You sighed as you touched all the buttons on your suit. “I must’ve run out of Pym Particles or something. I need to fix it so I can get back to Earth.”
“Right, right. Earth.” Loki said with disinterest. “What did you need to borrow anyway?”
“The aether.” You told him as the decor in his room caught your attention. You began to look at all his golden trinkets and stolen objects with awe.
“An infinity stone?” He was taken aback. “But why?”
“In the future, Thanos wipes out half the universe.” You began. “I’m on a recovery mission with the rest of the Avengers to collect the Infinity Stones to undo what he did. We’re trying to bring all the people back.”
“Half the people in the universe gone?” He gasped. “That sounds awful.”
“It is.” You stilled for a moment. “Honestly, I’m miserable. Absolutely miserable. All my family vanished. My boyfriend is gone. Half the Avengers are gone. The sky isn’t even blue anymore. It’s horrible.”
“So you aren’t happy there?” Loki asked as he walked over to you, a little jealousy bubbling when you mentioned a boyfriend.
“I hate it.” You admitted. “Everywhere I turn, I’m reminded of what I lost. That’s why it’s so important that we bring everyone back.”
“But what if your plan fails?” Loki wondered. “What if you don’t bring back all the stones? Or what if you do, but it doesn’t bring anyway back?”
“Then I don’t know what I’d do.” You shrugged sadly. “This plan is all I have. If it fails…”
“You don’t even want to think about that, do you?” He finished your sentence when you trailed off. You looked at him and nodded softly, grateful that he understood.
“Yeah.” You said quietly. “It’s too hard to imagine.”
“See?” Loki interrupted again. “She was miserable on Earth. She said it herself. I was trying to save her from a lifetime of misery.”
“I think you’re forgetting something.” Mobius reminded him.
“Forgetting what?” Loki scoffed.
“The plan worked.” Mobius said. “Thor brought the Aether back to her original timeline, and the Avengers were able to bring everyone back. She was supposed to go too, but she was left on Asgard. That was your first offense with the TVA.”
“Oh, screw the TVA.” Loki slammed his hand on the table. “She didn’t want to go back to Earth. She was unhappy there.”
“Is that why you told her Earth was destroyed?” Mobius asked. Loki stilled and sank in his seat as he was reminded of his lies. Mobius fast forwarded again, but didn’t play another scene. Instead, he paused on a clip of you looked utterly devestated. Loki had to look away, not wanting to see you in that much pain.
“Now, I’m not gonna play this part.” Mobius shook his head. “Because even I find it hard to watch. But you need to know what you did, so I’ll remind you.”
“You don’t need to do this.” Loki seethed. “I know what I did. I know what I told her.”
“Fine, then.” Mobius shrugged. “Why don’t you tell me what happened?”
Loki sucked in a sharp breath before looking back at the screen. The image of your desolate expression had never left his memory, so he really didn’t need to see it again to be reminded of what he had done.
“She tried to leave again.” Loki began as he stared at the screen. “I knocked her out with my magic. When she woke up, I told her Thanos had destroyed Earth and everyone on it. I said there was nothing left for her to return to.”
“She was devestated.” Mobius said quietly.
“I know she was.” Loki snapped. “She cried for a month straight.”
“So why’d you do it?” Mobius put his hands on his hips. “Why did you lie to her?”
“I didn’t want her to go.” Loki admitted, growing disgusted with himself. “I wanted her to stay with me on Asgard. She wouldn’t want to go back to Earth if she thought there was no Earth to go back to.”
“Why keep her?” Mobius wondered. “You barely knew her. Why hold her hostage like that?”
“She wasn’t held hostage.” Loki growled. “She was safe and loved and happy. No one on Asgard was taken better care of than she was. And I may not have known here when she first arrived, but we became inseparable after a while. We were almost married, for Odin’s sake. I’ll show you.”
Loki grabbed the remote from Mobius and pressed a button, fast forwarding until he found what he was looking for.
“Look.” Loki proudly pointed to the screen. “Watch this.”
He pressed play and watched as a memory of you and him played out on the screen.
“Where are we going?” You asked as Loki lead you somewhere with his hands over your eyes.
“Almost there. So impatient.” He clicked his tongue.
“You’ve taken me around the whole palace.” You chuckled. “I have a right to be impatient.”
“I suppose you’re right.” Loki stopped walking but didn’t remove his hands. “All right. We’re here.”
You pulled his hands off of your face and found yourself in front of two large green doors.
“Wow.” You said sarcastically. “Doors.
“Open the doors.” He rolled his eyes. You gave him a playful look over your shoulder before pushing the doors open.
“Oh my God.” You gasped when the doors opened. The room was decorated from ceiling to floor with all kinds of Asgardian wildlife. I’m the center of the room, your name was spelled out in the flower Loki had presented you with on the day you met. There was a running waterfall that cascading from the ceiling to the ground, leaving a soothing babbling sound throughout the room.
“It’s yours.” Loki said as he watched your reaction. “You mentioned once that you always wanted a garden. Now you do.”
“Oh, Loki.” You turned around and rushed into his arms. He stumbled back in surprise before hugging you back tightly.
“This is the nicest thing anyones ever done for me.” You mumbled against his chest.
“Well, you’ve been so upset lately. I wanted to cheer you up.” He said as he stroked your hair. It had been a month since he lied to you and told you that Earth was destroyed, and you were finally starting to act like yourself again.
“Thank you.” You pulled away to look at him. “I love it. It’s beautiful.”
“I truly hope you like it, darling.” He said softly as he brushed your cheek with his thumb. “It’s all yours.”
You looked into his eyes for a moment before your gaze fell to his lips. Since your last kiss, Loki had brought you food and kept you company every day. You had a built up a friendship with him since arriving to Asgard, but now you felt differently. There was a connection from the very first day, but it had gotten lost in your lament over your planets alleged destruction. Now, there was nothing stopping you from feeling that connection again. You hesitated before leaning it to kiss him. Just like last time, you felt his eyes flutter shut before he kissed you back. His hands cupped your face as you reached your arms around his neck. Loki watched your first kiss on the screen with a proud but mournful smile.
“Isn’t that something?” Mobius said as he paused the screen. Loki blinked back to reality and wiped his face, not realizing until that moment he had been crying.
“That scene speaks for itself.” Loki cleared his throat and tried to act like he hadn’t been crying. “You can see how happy she was. She loved that garden. And she loved me.”
“I don’t doubt that.” Mobius nodded. “But it’s hard to see past the fact that your entire relationship was built on a lie. She was only with you because she thought her home was destroyed.”
“She was with me for three years.” Loki said sharply. “The lie may have kept her there in the beginning, but she stayed willingly after that. She wanted to be on Asgard. She wanted to be with me.”
“Maybe. But she wasn’t supposed to be.” Mobius reminded him. “That wasn’t her timeline. She was supposed to be on Earth. She was supposed to be with Peter.”
“Peter?” Loki sputtered in disdain. “Peter Parker? Her little boyfriend from when she was a teenager?”
“In most time lines, they end up together.” Mobius said, knocking the wind out of Loki’s chest. “She went on that mission because she wanted to bring him back. Do you think she would have stayed, even for a second, if she knew her boyfriend Peter was alive back on Earth?”
“She told me they were 17 when the Thanos wiped out half the universe. That means Peter would’ve been 17 when he returned. She was 22 when she came to Asgard. She hadn’t been his girlfriend for 5 years. She had grown up. Her life went on. They would’ve had nothing in common anymore.”
“But she was supposed-“
“Who cares what she was supposed to do?” Loki snapped. “Why does the TVA get to decided what she was supposed to do or where she was supposed to be?”
“They’re the Time Keepers. They make the rules. And the rules say you can’t take someone from a different timeline and marry them. Oh, that reminds me.”
“Reminds you of what?”
“Your punishment. Mobius pressed a different button and a cloudy box appeared. “Go in there while I get the rest of your files.”
“What? I’m not going in there.” Loki scoffed.
“Don’t make me get the guards.” Mobius sighed. Loki clenched his jaw and looked at the ceiling, not wanting to be overpowered by the guards again. He reluctantly stood up, gave Mobius a sarcastic smile, and went through the cloudy portal.
As soon as Loki stepped through the portal, he stepped into his bedroom back on Asgard. He took another step forward, just as something stirred in his sheets. You sat up all the sudden, hair messy and wearing Loki’s horned crown. It was too big for your head and hung in your eyes, but the sight still took Loki’s breath away.
“Y/n?” Loki gasped and stepped forward.
“Hi.” You said before yawning. “I wanted to talk to you about something.”
“Go ahead.” Loki nodded eagerly. He failed to see how this was a punishment. It had been so long since he last saw you that this felt more like a reward.
“I want our wedding to be earth themed.” You told him as you took his hands in yours.
“Our…our wedding?” Loki asked. He looked around the room and realized that he was not actually with you, but reliving a memory from years ago.
“Yeah.” You smiled shyly. “I just miss it so much. I want it to be a part of our special day.”
Loki found himself at a loss for words. He knew that when this memory originally happened, he had continued to lie to you and lead you to believe Earth had been destroyed. This time, he knew better and kept his mouth shut.
“We could have sunflowers.” You continued. “That was my favorite flower back on earth. And we could serve earth food and play earth music and-“
“Of course darling.” He cut you off and squeezed your hand. “Whatever you want. We will have it all.”
“Thank you. And if it’s not too much to ask, I want a minute of silence where everyone lights a candle.” You said quietly. “For Peter.”
Loki gulped and forced a smile, that line causing him just as much pain now as it did then.
“Of course.”
“Thank you.” You stood up from the bed and hugged him tightly. Loki hugged you back with a troubling frown on his face. He had forgotten how guilty he felt every time he had to lie to you. He pulled away and brought you into a long kiss, wordlessly trying to convey that he loved you and was sorry.
“I can’t wait. I can’t tell you how much I miss earth.” You sighed against his lips.
“Mm hm.” He gulped.
“I just wish I could’ve seen it one last time.” You frowned, eyes growing tearful. “I feel so guilty all the time. I would’ve died too if I had gone back with Thor when I was supposed to.”
“Then it’s a good thing you didn’t go.” Loki said weakly, knowing Thor was very much alive in your timeline back on Earth.
“I know.” You sighed. “I don’t think I’ll ever be able to shake the survivors guilt. It makes me sick sometimes.”
Loki stayed silent as he fingers drummed against your waist. Before he could respond, his body jerked back and he suddenly reentered the room.
“Hi.” You said before yawning. “I wanted to talk to you about something.”
Loki looked behind him before looking back at you. The memory played all over again, forcing him to lie to you once again. When you told him how guilty you felt, he was sent back and had to relive the moment over again. Each time he had to lie to you, he felt more disgusted with himself. After the thirteenth time, he had enough.
“I just wish I could’ve seen it one last time.” You frowned, eyes growing tearful. “I feel so guilty all the time. I would’ve died too if I had gone back with Thor when I was supposed to.”
“I lied to you.” He admitted. “Earth was never destroyed. Thor and all the Avengers and your family, they’re all fine.”
“What?” You blinked in confusion.
“I’m not your savior. I didn’t save you from anything. I stole you from your time line because I fell in love with you the moment we met. You were the first person to show a a genuine interest in me, and I took advantage of that. And for that, I am deeply, deeply sorry.”
“Oh, Loki.” You sighed and stroked his face. “It’s too late for that.”
“What?” He frowned as he wrapped his hand around your wrist to keep your palm against his face.
“I’m not even here.” You whispered.
“All right Loki.” Mobius walked through the portal before Loki could answer you. “I got the rest of your files. Let’s go.”
“But…I can’t just leave her.” Loki held on to you tightly.
“She’s not even real.” Mobius shrugged as he held up his remote. It pulled Loki back through the portal and he stumbled back into his seat.
“Here’s the last one.” Mobius said, but Loki wasn’t listening. He was still thinking about how it felt to touch you one last time. He blinked back a tear before looking up at the screen. You were there once again, talking to one of the new maids.
“Oh, I wasn’t born here.” He heard you telling the maid. “I’m from Earth.”
“A midgardian?” The maid smiled. “Wow. You’re quite far from home.”
“I know.” You smiled sadly. “I miss it every day. But I’m happy here. I’m really happy with Loki.”
“If you miss it, why don’t you go back?” The maid asked, making Loki suck in a breath. He knew exactly what was coming.
“Go back?” You furrowed your eyebrows. “What do you mean? Earth was destroyed three years ago.”
“No it wasn’t.” The nurse laughed. “Earth is fine.”
The audio faded out as you turned to look at Loki. He felt like you were looking right through him, down to his rotten soul. Your face was frozen in horror and betrayal as you finally learned the truth. Three years after arriving on Asgard, you found out your home hadn’t been destroyed after all. It was all a lie. A lie told to you by the man you thought you loved.
“Stop.” Loki choked out. “Stop it. Turn it off.”
Mobius paused the screen and looked at Loki in silence. To his surprise, Loki was wiping his tears off on the sleeves of his jumpsuit. His eyes were red and full of remorse as he looked up at the screen.
“I don’t need it see it again.” He whispered. “I know she trusted me. I know I betrayed her. I did that.”
“So you understand why the TVA is arresting you?” Mobius asked softly. “You didn’t just steal the tesseract. You stole that girl from her reality. Even if she loved you, she was never supposed to be with you.”
Loki nodded before hanging his head in shame. He knew what he had done was wrong. He knew it the entire time he was doing it. Even though he betrayed you out of his love for you, he still betrayed you.
“You’re right.” Loki said sincerely. “She was never mine to keep. Never mine to lose either.”
“No, she wasn’t.” Mobius agreed as he watched Loki curiously. The look of utter remorse on Loki’s face was out of character after everything Mobius had studied about him.
“Could you just tell me if she’s all right?” Loki sniffled. “That’s all I ask. Is she okay?”
“She’s fine.” Mobius answered. “She’s fighting for the Avengers again and reunited with her family.”
“Is she still miserable?”
“No.” Mobius smiled a little. “Not anymore.”
“And…and Peter?” His voice was barely audible now.
“Don’t worry about that.” Mobius told him. “It won’t do you any good. And for what it’s worth, there are timelines that exists where she stays. There’s even a timeline where you two are alligators and rule a kingdom in a lake.”
Loki smiled too, grateful that you were able to move on after his betrayal. Mobius furrowed his eyebrows at the sight of Loki genuinely caring about another human being, something he was not used to seeing.
“I could show you one more thing.” Mobius offered sympathetically. Loki reluctantly looked back at the screen as the man his play. To his surprise, all the good moments of his relationship with you flashed before him. All the kisses and laughter, fond smiles and endearing moments played on the screen, bringing tears to his eyes. He leaned toward on the table to get as close to you as possible, reaching out towards you with his shackled hands. The screen went blank suddenly, and his smile fell.
“They’re ready for you.” Mobius said as he checked his phone. “I can take you to the court now.”
Loki stayed silent as he was lead to the courtroom and sat in front of the judge. All he could think about was the moments of happiness he had been able to relive.
“Loki Laufeyson.” The judge brought his attention back. “How do you plead?
Loki blinked a few times, your smile flashing before him each time he closed his eyes. He thought about he had caused that smile to fade with every lie he told, and that’s when he knew he had his answer. He looked the judge right in the eye and entered his plea.
“Guilty.”

Soooo I found this in an MCU insta comment section and now I’m about to make it everyone’s problem
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Before I get started here’s my disclaimer - I personally don’t hate Sylvie, she just pisses me off a lot of the time and that’s largely the writers’ fault, not hers. Still not very pro-Sylvie sentiments here so beware. Okay now moving forward
“Definitely overhated and simply because she fell for Loki (which got misogynistic girls mad) and then betrayed him.”
Make the assumption that people who hate Sylvie are jealous that she fell for Loki ONE MORE TIME SAY IT I DARE YOU. That is such a heteronormative assumption and don’t you think it’s a little misogynistic to assume that every woman who who watches Loki is in love with him? Please, continue to erase and ignore criticism from lesbian/ace/aro fans, that’s so gracious of you. And yes, people that love Loki are obviously upset that she betrayed him. Whatever her reasons, he was still hurt in the end. He learned to trust again and it was shattered within a matter of minutes.
“The story would NOT progress without Loki, period.”
Alright, I’ll bite. First two eps are about him, sure. Loki being captured, Loki being the one to find out where the variant is hiding, Loki helping the TVA, so far all Loki. Great. Then we get to episode 3 and we’re introduced to Sylvie. She doesn’t like calling herself a Loki, constantly looks down on Loki and is laser focused on her mission. Somehow she taught herself enchantment and visibly Loki is immediately impressed; the viewers now know she’s won him over. Then Loki gets them on the train and also gets them kicked out, and all the while Sylvie has made it perfectly clear that all Loki is, is an OBSTACLE. Again, laser focused on her mission. That’s her life’s work. The first thing she says to him: “you’re in my way.” Episode 3 onwards is focused on SYLVIE’S journey to destroying the TVA. We get a flashback of Sylvie on Asgard before she was taken and later we get to see her sort of reflect on her running from the TVA before Loki jumps in to tell her “she’s amazing!”
Everything we’re told about Loki in episode 1, however, is forgotten and ignored. Not once is it ever mentioned again how Mobius blamed Loki for Frigga’s death or how he said Loki was destined to fail so others could succeed. He sets everything aside to focus on Sylvie now. The idea to enchant? Sylvie’s. Killing He Who Remains? Also Sylvie. Loki is part of the plot, sure, and if he were completely removed from it things would be different but that is simply because he was a CATALYST in Sylvie’s mission. He was able to help her get there faster because the writers clearly wrote it so that minute he became so impressed with her the storyline would change their roles and all of a sudden it was Sylvie’s mission that took the forefront and Loki would do whatever it took to help. Sylvie clearly knew that. And the minute he expressed doubt in the Citadel, she knew he had become an obstacle once again so she kicked him out by taking advantage of his awe and trust for her (I’m not calling it love, that’s not love).
My point here is that even if Loki hadn’t been a part of the plot, Sylvie would’ve still gotten to the Citadel. It was her idea to enchant Alioth after all. It would’ve taken her longer and having someone who was ready to drop everything for her helped it go quicker, but she would’ve still been able to do it nonetheless. Upon Sylvie’s introduction, the only role Loki has is moving the plot along faster. All the major plot points, the ones that are absolutely necessary for it to make sense, those are Sylvie’s. Everything Loki does from episode 3 onwards is tied back to Sylvie. Even though we know Loki has his own motivations to destroy the TVA, the focus shifts towards Sylvie’s motivations, and Loki himself even says as much in the Void. He no longer wants to destroy the Time Keepers for his own sake, no, he tells his variants he wants to do it for this AMAZING female variant, the only one he DOES trust. And it is that trust that helps Sylvie get to her end goal faster. Basically, it’s not that the plot wouldn’t progress the same without Loki, it’s just that it wouldn’t progress at the speed that it did.
“She had her reasons.”
Alright, slight tangent first, but it makes no sense to me that people respond to our complaints about Loki being pushed aside for Sylvie with “he chose not to be selfish, he chose to care about someone else, get out of here with your toxic masculinity.” Okay pull the brakes. So Loki wanting to destroy the TVA is selfish? But I thought when people were coming at Sylvie for killing He Who Remains, they needed to take it easy because she had a good reason. She did have a good reason, but what gives you the right to invalidate Loki’s reasons? Did he not lose enough of his life to the TVA for you, is that what it is? The reason people were calling Sylvie selfish is because she chose to go forward with her choice despite being informed of the drastic consequences. Neither Loki nor Sylvie knew of those consequences before talking to He Who Remains, but once they did, Loki chose to (rightly) think before they make a decision they regret and can’t take back, whilst Sylvie saw his mindset as nothing but an obstacle.
Actually, the way Sylvie reacted the minute Loki showed any signs of disagreement was scary to me. It reminds me of anytime my sister tries to get me to do something that could get us into major trouble and I ask her to be reasonable, think it through first, and not act on impulse. Then she gets a crazed look in her eyes, similar to the one Sylvie had when she said “why are we not seeing this the same way?” Honestly it really creeped me out. She can’t handle being told “no,” for once in her life, and she lashes out by insulting Loki: “this was all because you wanted the throne.” My sister does the same thing: “of course you wouldn’t do it, you’re a terrible sister, not to mention you’re so lazy and such a goody two shoes, you’re never gonna get anywhere in life with that attitude.” That is so SO toxic I don’t even know where to begin. That is a manipulation tactic used by people like Sylvie and my sister to get people like Loki and me to do what THEY want. Because internally when they say these falsehoods about us, we feel the need to prove them wrong. So eventually we give in. That’s what I usually do. But Loki didn’t. He stood his ground, made sure she knew that he didn’t want the throne but that he also wasn’t budging. And Sylvie had to take drastic measures.
That got away from me a bit but anyway, she had reasons, yes, but so did Loki, and look at the difference in his reaction and hers. I’m not using that to invalidate her trauma. What I’m trying to say is that if she knew how terrible it was to be on the run from the TVA, she wouldn’t have wanted to subject others to the same kind of treatment. Which is what would happen once the multiverse breaks. And this plays into how she was so intensely hero-coded, which I’ll get into next.
“There’s a beautiful foundation for a complex, traumatized, and strong female superhero to be made there.”
You had me until “superhero.” Because nothing Sylvie does matches up to what a hero would do. She put her own revenge over the fate of the entire universe. That’s not something a hero would do. She burned brainwashed minutemen alive (while she KNEW they were brainwashed and variants like herself) and enchanted them to the brink of insanity. Hunter C-20 didn’t survive it. That’s not something a hero would do either. And it was frustrating how the writers tried to pass her off as a hero by having her call out Mobius on “arresting little girls, classic hero stuff.” Making Sylvie say that line sounds incredibly hypocritical. And listen, they’re right, this is a solid foundation - FOR AN ANTIHERO. I’d actually be all for this plot if the writers weren’t always trying to get us to root for her. If the writers hadn’t always been trying to excuse her actions and instead simply portrayed her with no filter as the morally gray character she is, then it would’ve been fine. The same way Wandavision a) successfully acknowledged and kindly validated Wanda’s trauma and b) made sure that it came off very clearly that THAT DOES NOT EXCUSE HER ACTIONS IN WESTVIEW. I wouldn’t consider Wanda a superhero and I don’t want her to be either. There’s no shame in being a morally gray character or an antihero. What’s frustrating is if the writers try to portray such a character as either a) fully a hero, the way they did with Sylvie, or b) fully a villain, the way they did with Loki.
“Sylvie is underrated and her powers and trauma are overlooked by the viewers.”
I wouldn’t call Sylvie or her powers underrated. She has a lot of fans and there are thousands of fan pages for her. It’s very clear that the show hyped up Sylvie’s powers more. There was a scene in episode 2 about all of Loki’s powers, but with Sylvie, we got a bit of that added “I taught myself” and then we watched her enchant Alioth a few episodes later. Not to mention she actually got the Loki outfit and Loki didn’t, not once, in a show named after HIM. I’ve seen all the edits on my explore page, alright, it’s pretty obvious that everyone thinks Sylvie’s powers are great. Anytime someone makes a compilation of “magic in phase 4,” Sylvie is always included. The show’s intention was “Sylvie > Loki, Sylvie = superior Loki.” And that may not be what ALL fans believe, but some definitely do. And most are pretty fond of Sylvie overall, so again, underrated is not the right word for her or her powers.
Now her trauma - that’s a different story. I’m not sure how ALL the viewers perceived it, but based on the interviews we’ve seen, it’s clear the writers themselves think Sylvie has been through more and that Loki’s is insignificant: “Sylvie has deeper scars” -Eric Martin. “Loki uses his trauma as an excuse to be selfish.” -Michael Waldron. And a lot of fans, at least from what I’ve seen, think that Sylvie had a harder life growing up because she didn’t grow up with the royal lifestyle like Loki. I also saw someone say that Sylvie’s backstory failed to evoke any pathos compared to Loki’s, though. Comparing trauma, no matter which side, is unacceptable. That’s all there is to my Ted talk thanks for coming
Tagging some moots that I think would enjoy this bc I am actually really damn proud of this lmao and I 100% want it to get more traction I’m not ashamed to admit it @lil-stark @valkyrieandstrangeridingaragorn @mostlylokisometimesbucky @ashdoesfandom @musclesandhammering @alwida10

I have surched high and low, looking for a writer that had open requests and has watched the loki series! And finally! My journey has come to and end!!
Okay so I got this story idea for loki and I don't have the writing capability to do it myself. But here's my idea/requests:
So loki and mobius are hanging out, chilling, doing whatever where there's nothing going on so they are just sitting and talking, idk. But somehow they talk about relationships. And loki starts talking about how he was almost married( to reader), but they where attacked and they never maid it to the carimony part where they see each other and all that. Loki says somthing about wishing to see reader in their wedding outfit. And so mobius feels bad and dose just thay for loki and opens a time portal to goo see the reader before the attack.
Okay that was alot I'm sorry haha 😅
But that's been swimming in my head and I would love to see how someone would write it. If you don't wanna write it I totally get it. Hope you have a good day!
“Tonight was too long ago”.
Pairing: Loki x gn!reader (asgardian!reader)
Word count: 2.8K
Warnings: angst with bittersweet ending, major character death, mentions of vomit and murder.
A/N: I’m back at the angst :) sorry I guess. I’m not on vacation but I’m avoiding my responsibilities like a champ.

Loki sighed, staring at his reflection in the cold water. The moonlight shone against his skin, the crystal water shaping the lights over his sharp features. They’ve been talking about many things by now —pretending like Mobius hadn’t watched his entire life already. Mobius knew Loki enjoyed talking about his interests and experiences, even if Mobius had already heard them before.
But there was one thing —one huge thing— Loki had never talked about. Many years of friendship, and Loki wasn’t able to let those words slip off his mouth. He wouldn’t allow it.
What if he let them get out of his chest, and they wouldn’t come back ever again?
They wouldn’t come back, he was sure. And because he was sure, he let them inside for as long as he could.
“Your mother”, he said. Loki had to tear his gaze away from the water, to listen carefully. Mobius swallowed hard, like the words weighed on his tongue. “I’m sorry about what I’ve said before”.
“Oh, Moby Dick”, chuckled Loki, easing his tension. “You’ve apologized a hundred times already. I get it. You didn’t mean it. It’s fine, I’m familiar with the concept of saying the wrong things out of fear”.
“Hey, it wasn’t fear”, said Mobius, lightly punching his shoulder. “And don’t call me that. I know you said it was from a book, but you’re calling me a…”.
“If you hear that title and immediately think about a man’s groin, then I think that’s your issue, not mine”.
“Anyway”, he brushed him off with a laugh. “I feel like I need to repeat it, because you seem… sad. And, you know, it wasn’t your fault”.
“Oh, don’t do that”.
“What?”, he feigned innocence. Loki sighed.
“Touching that subject, thinking you’ll finally get me to talk about what we both already know”.
“I’m… I’m sorry”.
“Yes, you say that a lot”.
“I think you need a friend, right now”.
“I have a friend”.
“Yes, that’s why I’m bringing this subject up. You’ve… Loki, you’ve gone from one chaotic situation to another. Your relationships, all along your life, sucked. I don’t mean to be intrusive, or meddly, but… I care about what you’re not saying. It will haunt you down until you can’t bear it anymore”.
Loki took in a sharp breath, feeling the tears stinging on the corner of his eye, threatening to fall. No —push them back. They can’t get out.
“You know all about my relationships. Why listen to them again, anyway?”.
Mobius began fidgeting with his tempad. Loki searched through his pockets, looking for a pen, anything he could use to keep his hands occupied with a mindless task to avoid going straight to cover his face and allow himself to cry —to finally cry.
It’s been so long.
“Fine, it’s fine. Don’t talk about them. Talk… about the surroundings. How was your family back then?”.
Loki closed his eyes and went back to Asgard. In his mind, it was all the same as it had been for millenias. Now, Asgard was New Asgard, and his brother ruled it from Earth. But, there was a time where the Avengers weren’t there yet, and it all was just the two of them against the realms.
Loki remembers quite vividly, actually. He remembers Thor training against him as if his life depended on it. He remembers Sif having to stop the battle, before Thor would break his bones. Loki remembers himself to be the weaker one, always the weaker one.
He remembers you, by Sif’s side, too. He pushed the thought away and flinched. He didn’t say it out loud, but Mobius knew it was about you. Loki’s mood would change every time your face roamed around his mind.
He remembers stealing bread and fruit from the kitchens to go out on picnics. He remembers your laughter —lyrical, melodic, armonious. He wanted to drown on you. And, by remembering you, he wanted to drown on that same lake he was staring at.
He remembers Frigga’s words, always so on point, always so true.
Loki glanced over to Mobius, without wanting to talk about it. But he did.
“My mother had always been really perspicacious about my relationships. Whether friendships, family, or… other things”.
“Frigga has a good reputation for being clever and insightful”, added Mobius. Loki nodded.
“She also had visions about that night”.
Mobius didn’t say anything. He didn’t want to mess it up.
“You know, I regret many things about it. I regret… firstly, that it wasn’t me. It should’ve been me”, he whispers. Mobius wanted to tell him it wasn’t, but it would be in vain. Nothing he could say could make Loki change his mind about it. “It should’ve been me, and they should’ve been safe. I could’ve assured their safety, but… I guess I didn’t”.
“Why?”.
“Why, you ask? Haven’t you seen it?”.
Mobius, once again, fell silent.
“I wanted to see them”, he whispers, “in their wedding outfit”.
“In their… wedding outfit?”.
“We were about to get married, you know that”, he said, obliviously. Mobius denied with his head. “How could you not know it?”.
“I know about the accident”.
“The attack, you mean”, he corrected, sharp as only you would get him.
“The attack, yes. Sorry”.
“We were going to get married, and then… we didn’t”.
The events came to Loki violently. So quickly, he felt himself about to contour in pain and vomit. He came back to his senses shortly after, but as he opened his eyes, he was back again on this recurrent flashback —this recurrent nightmare.
You stood in front of him. You were yelling —yelling at him, to him, because of him. He rolled his eyes at that comment, he remembers. He shouldn’t have, he thought, looking back at it. He shouldn’t have pretended like he didn’t care, like he was detached from the emotions you were accusing him of having.
“Loki”.
“Yes, Mobile Phone”.
“Stop it. Where are you?”.
“In my head, I guess”.
“Come back”.
Loki opened his eyes.
“I don’t want to go there, ever again”.
“You were talking about a wedding outfit”.
“I regret not… not seeing them on it. It was my fault, after all”.
“It wasn’t your fault, Loki”.
“It was”.
“I can help you”.
“I’m helpless, and they’s gone”.
Mobius smiled gently at him, with a hand on his shoulder. He pointed at the tempad on his hand. Loki opened his mouth widely, about to retort. He couldn’t.
“They’s gone. But you can visit all you want”.
“That’s insane. They deserve to be on their own timeline, without disruptions”.
“I’m not saying you’d go there to avoid the attack from happening. I’m saying you could go… see them in their little outfit. Have a bit of harmless fun".
Loki thought about it.
"If… if I can go there, and replace myself from that moment, and then come back… that wouldn't make much of a mess, right?".
"Are you thinking of…?".
"Just… getting things right. I don't want them to go with that last memory from me".
Mobius understood. Nodding, he opened a portal with the tempad and soon, Loki was on his feet about to walk through it.
He stopped before going in. He looked down at himself and shook his shoulders, dressing in his black and dark green suit —the one he intended to marry in. He arranged his hair in a low man bun and took his nose piercing off, knowing at the time he didn't have it on. He then looked at Mobius, as if looking for approval. He nodded and patted his shoulder.
"Have fun", he smiled gently.
"Will do", joked Loki, knowing this would end up in tears. He fixed his posture, and, with a deep breath, he submerged himself into the past.
He was in the room, too. The Loki from that time, grumpy and arms crossed waiting for the stupid fight to come, looked up at him bewildered. Before he could do anything, Loki covered his mouth and kicked him out of the timeline, closing the portal behind him. Mobius gestured at him that he'd talk him down and explain, and they could delete his memory after that.
Loki roamed around his old room in Asgard. The palace that was now in ruins, held so tightly and in place, as if it wouldn't fall by anything —not even a gigantic fire monster, predicted to be the destroyer of the realm. He walked to his bed, and sat on your side, passing a hand through the silky sheets. It was wrinkly, and you had just gotten off bed. He was sure you were looking for him. You'd come through that door any second now.
"Loki!", you walked in, a frown painted across your red face. He felt his heart on his throat. There you were. It was really you. He stood in shock, his mouth slightly open, and his eyes unable to tear from you. You walked up to him and seemed to be even more upset —now that he wasn't even acknowledging you were mad. "Are you out of your mind?! We're one day before the ceremony and you thought best to come up with that? You're a dick. You know that, right? You're an asshole", you said, and he kept staring at you as if you were telling him you loved him. "What's the matter with you?! Why are you looking at me like that?!".
He had to contain every single urge on him to grab you by the shoulders and kiss you deeply, in the way he knew it'd make you weak on the knees and in the way he had missed for so many years. But he pushed it back. He took in a deep breath, again, and grabbed your hands.
"What did I do, love?", he played innocent, as if the mention of his prank wasn't making his heart ache.
"What did… what did you do?! How can you do something like this and forget it the next second! I know I am marrying a trickster but I thought you'd contain yourself for at least one day, to keep my nerves intact!".
He remembered what he did. It was stupid, really. He thought it'd cheer you up, a stupid joke to calm the storm that was on your head the previous days to the wedding. He had turned the ceremony room into a deep-black darkness whole. He had cut off the lights so that the room wouldn't have any lightning whatsoever as soon as someone walked in.
He remembers what he did after that, in the past. He didn't tell you anything, and wanted to surprise you, as an apology, by filling the room with floating candles.
Many people didn't agree with him marrying you. Most of them didn't want Loki to be a best suitor for the throne; and married and living in Asgard —unlike his brother, who's had a come-and-go affair with a midgardian— people would be against him. That's why the attack happened that night.
This time around, he wouldn't waste any time on making you smile. He knew you'd die anyway, he couldn't change that. But he could do all the things he waited for until the ceremony that never happened.
He sat on the bed, eyes still on you, and pushed you closer to him. You relaxed your face, melting at the love on his gaze, and he smiled sadly, yet kindly. You sat on his leg, and he couldn't hold back anymore the urge to sink his nose in your hair, and hug you tightly. You chuckled, and pushed him back.
"I'm still mad at you, mister. Even if you're this adorable".
"I'm so, so sorry, my little darling", he said sincerely —so sincerely, he caught you off guard. He kept saying sorry and kissing your cheeks until you couldn't hold back your laughter anymore. "I promise you, I'll fix it right now. But I want you to be with me. Is that okay?".
"Can't stay away from me even a minute, can't you?", you joked, and he felt a lump on his throat, downing in with a fake laughter.
"I could never".
"Let's go, then".
"In fact, I… I know you'll hate me for this. You're in all your right to say no, but I need to ask you something", he started. He now realized, it didn't matter the clothing. He really just wanted to be with you. But if he could get a glance of what he could've had if destiny hadn't been such a bitch to him… he needed to take the chance. You nodded, and he asked "Do you think you could show me how gorgeous you look in your wedding's attires, my love? Meanwhile I'll prepare the room".
"Ah, you naughty little…", you laughed, and he chuckled and blushed.
"No, no. I meant your ceremony ones! And I'll fix the lights for the thing I screw up. I have a surprise".
"Oh. In that case, yes, I don't see why not".
"I thought you thought it was bad luck".
"Yes, but not the ceremony outfit, more like the… other one".
"Oh, then you should by all means show me that one".
"Sir, you go fix your mess and I'll go get my wedding outfit. We can get messy later", you said, and he chuckled, kind of disappointed that he had to leave before that.
He had to fight with all of his strength to let go of your hug, and go to the ceremony room to set the flying candles around. He waited with impatience until you opened the doors wildly and your eyes gazed dreamily at the room he had prepared. Your face lit up brightly and he… he fell even deeper in love, if such a thing was possible.
You ran up to him and melted into his arms with a smile, and he didn’t stop murmuring how splendid you looked. His last memory of you was a dead body, and now it would be this dreamy and angelic image of you, happy and unpissed at him. He didn’t know how to feel about it. His you, from his timeline, deserved better too. Every you from other timelines deserved better too, he thought, and shook his head as soon as he thought about it —let us enjoy the moment. Let us enjoy it.
He pulled you closer and kissed you just as he wanted to for all of those years. He kissed you and you didn’t let go for a long time after that. He stayed with his hands around you and your head on his chest.
“Your heartbeat is going crazy”, you murmured, and then you realized he was weeping. A few tears stained his reddened cheeks, and you kissed them. “What’s wrong, my love?”.
“Ah, my sweet”, he chuckled through the tears and looked down, not really answering. “Nothing is wrong. I’m overwhelmed with your gorgeousness”
But you had always been almost as perceptive as his own mother. He knew you were aware something was off. Right there, at that moment, you realized that wasn’t your Loki. You closed your eyes and held him closer to you, and he kissed your forehead.
“Was it long ago?”, you asked, knowing the answer. He seemed different from your Loki. More mature, even taller if possible, his hair seemed to be cut in a different culture than Asgard. He had that light on his eyes, that unstoppable desire to be in everything and everywhere possible —almost completely lit off. As if right there and then was the only place he strived to be at that very same moment. As if not even the next day mattered —just you there—just you now.
“Ages”, he mumbled into your hair, smelling you one last time. “I don’t want to let you go”.
“Tomorrow?”.
“Tonight. But tonight… was too long ago. I can’t do anything about it, I wish I could, but I can’t”, he sobbed. You shushed him and cupped his face. He blinked his tears away and smiled at you. “You look magnificent. I’m sorry for all the trouble I’ve caused you, all of these decades together”.
“Baby, you’ve caused me only happiness”, you said, and kissed him again.
A portal opened at the end of the room, and Mobius with a passed out Loki walked through it. You chuckled.
“I have to go now. So he can have one last time with you, too, alright?”, he whispered against you, still hugging you tightly. “He’s an idiot, but I was too, I suppose. Just, do me a favour, would you?”.
“Yes, my love”.
“Wherever you’ll go… never stop smiling, would you?”.
“I’d never”.
“Don’t forget I love you”.
“And you don’t forget to move on, someday”, you said, gripping tightly to him. It seemed like you already knew your fate would be an inevitable death, even that young, and you seemed more concerned about him than your actual destiny. He kissed you one last time, and walked through the portal with a weight off his shoulders and a better memory of you.

“Where did you even get these?” Loki asks you, frowning as he rummages through the toys. “I mean, you never leave the TVA... and I doubt they are purchasable in the commissary.”
You silently raise an eyebrow at him while carefully untangling the leather harness you dug out from the same box. ‘Take a guess’ is heavily implied.
So Loki continues, his voice ponderous. “Which means...” he looks up at Mobius, a smile slowly spreading on his face as he figures it out. “You brought them back.”
Mobius, sitting on the edge of his bed, wearing only his underwear and his shirt, unbuttoned, blushes. “Look at you,” he says. “Using deductive reasoning. Almost like a proper agent.”
Loki scoffs. “I’m not-” he catches himself, realizing that Mobius is deflecting. “But you never leave this place either, unless you’re going on a mission...” he trails off, his smile widening. “You got a hold of these while out in the field. What did you do, sneak off to the nearest sex shop while the Hunters were busy? Hide them in your pockets?” He picks up the largest dildo of the bunch. “Surely it would be difficult to carry this on your person without anyone noticing.”
“I had a bag with me,” Mobius replies, cheeks growing more and more red.
Loki laughs, obviously delighted. You’ve come to appreciate the sound of his genuine laughter, the one devoid of scorn or darkness. Sure, he’s taking joy in teasing Mobius right now, but there is no trace of malice in it. “So you came prepared,” he says. “You planned it. Tell me, what would you have done if someone found out? Went through your little bag of goodies?”
“I would have claimed it was related to the mission,” Mobius promptly answers.
Loki’s smile could light up a room. “Ah, so what you’re saying is, there was absolutely nothing spontaneous about these purchases.”
Mobius tries to keep a straight face but fails spectacularly. “No,” he admits.
Loki hums, running slim fingers over the array of sex toys. “I must admit, I did not see this coming.”
“Well that just shows an extreme lack of imagination on your part,” you say. “Now, why don’t you pick one for us?”
Loki looks pleasantly surprised. “Why thank you for trusting me like that, Agent.” He speaks the title like it’s a regular name by now. He still doesn’t know your real one, and you intend to keep it like that. “Does he get a say?” Loki asks, nudging his head in Mobius’ direction.
Mobius lowers his chin, face bright red even as he stares Loki down. “Do your worst, kitten.”
Loki chuckles and picks up a dildo. It’s black in color, but shaped like a real cock, veins and all. It’s not the biggest you own, but it’s large enough to be noteworthy, and it matches your plain black panties. Loki turns it over in his hands, judging the weight and size, and eventually he makes a low noise of approval. “This one, I think.”
You’re knelt on the bed next to Mobius, and so you get to see his Adam’s apple bobbing as he swallows. Loki has inadvertently picked one of his favorites.
You grin at the trickster god. “Excellent choice.” You hold out your hand, and Loki passes you the dildo. “Now, let me show you how it’s done.”
Loki smirks. “I cannot wait.”
Nervous tension is practically coming off Mobius in waves, so you drop the dildo next to you on the bed and put a finger under his chin, urging him to turn his face so you can kiss him. His edginess lessens almost immediately as he turns his body towards you and melts into the kiss, only trembling a little when you stroke your hand down his neck and help him out of his shirt.
One of these days you may stop constantly keeping tabs on Loki during these sessions, but not yet, so even as you and Mobius’ kisses grow more heated, and his heavy breathing fills the air, you make sure to listen to Loki moving around the room. When you hear him dragging a chair across the floor, you open one eyes and spare him a glance out of the corner of it. He has picked the only armchair Mobius owns and placed it far enough from the bed to signal his readiness to remain a spectator for now. He sits down. Well, slides into the seat with annoying elegance, hooking one leg over the armrest, legs spread wide. He looks very appealing like that. It doesn’t hurt that he’s already hard, the outline of his erection clearly visible through the tight fabric of his trousers. He doesn’t move to touch himself though.
Mobius must have sensed your momentary distraction, because he makes an impatient sound and presses his body closer to yours.
“Sorry, love,” you mutter against his lips, stroking your fingers through his hair while your other hand travels along his side with enough pressure to avoid tickling him. Mobius hums with pleasure, delighting in your undivided attention as you kiss him and trail your fingertips in random patterns over his upper chest. You do love his body, all pliant flesh and smooth skin. Loki might be strikingly beautiful, his lean frame looking like it was carved from marble be an artist with a crush, but Mobius is yours, from the soft lines of his belly and love-handles, to his full lips and twinkling eyes. A sudden rush of possessiveness rushes through you and you tighten your fingers around the curve of his hip while grabbing a handful of his hair, pulling it to make him arch his head back. You trace your lips and teeth down the column of his throat, leaving red marks that won’t be faded entirely by the time you all leave here. You’re normally not this brazen. People might notice. They might think Loki did it. But you’ll know it was you, and that’s what matters.
Mobius obviously approves as well, because he moans deeply, a hand coming to rest on your thigh while the other gropes at your shoulder. “Please,” he breathes.
You could ask him to elaborate, make him use his words, but you can sense his growing desperation, and decide to indulge him this time. You hook your fingers under the waistband of his underwear and give it a little snap. “Off.”
Mobius moves off the bed and to his feet. Standing where he is, you find yourself tantalizingly close to his very hard cock when he gets the underwear off. It’s just too tempting, too easy, to grab his hip with one hand and his dick with the other, stroking the impressive length and looking up at him playfully. He lets out a shuddering breath but meets your gaze, his eyes dark and pupils wide. His hips sway back and forth, not thrusting per se, just gently following the rhythm of your languid strokes.
You lean forward, and Mobius inhales sharply when you swipe your tongue over the head of his cock, licking away the precome that had formed at the slit. You’re tempted to take him into your mouth, but you’re afraid you won’t be able to stop once you’ve begun, not until he has come, and that’s not the plan. Instead you press a kiss to his lower stomach and murmur, “On all fours. Now.”
While Mobius scrambles to obey, you take a second to check on Loki. His right hand has moved, now resting on his upper thigh, thumb idly stroking along the edge of the tent in his pants. “That was cruel, Agent” he says once he notices you watching him.
“You obviously haven’t seen me be cruel,” you reply.
Loki’s grin reminds you of a shark. “Another time, perhaps?”
You like this, the banter, but Mobius in now on his hands and knees on the bed, and that’s a lot more important. His body is trembling, and he almost jumps when you touch his hip. He’s not usually this high-strung, but having an audience, having Loki as an audience, is obviously affecting him more than you had assumed it would. You can’t decide whether you like that.
Jealousy is an ugly thing, you decide, as you reach for the lube that you left on the bedspread. Plus, you’re the one who’s trailing your lube-slick finger down the cleft of Mobius’s gorgeous ass moments later, while Loki is only allowed to watch, so who is the real winner here?
Mobius’s breath is turning ragged, and when you push a finger inside him, it hitches. You let out a soothing sound and just like that he exhales, muscles relaxing as he spreads his thighs and drops down on his elbows. So beautifully responsive, rocking back and forth as you work a second finger into him, and then a third. He’s tight, as always, but you’re nothing if not patient and dedicated to his pleasure, murmuring words of encouragement and stroking his flank with your free hand, keeping focus even as you hear the sound of Loki’s zipper being pulled down. A moment later a soft exhale lets you know he has taken himself in hand. You’d look, but you’re currently transfixed by the blush spreading across Mobius’ shoulders and the back of his neck. Sweat is starting to glisten on his skin and you lean down, dragging you tongue along his spine.
“Ready?” you ask.
“Yeah,” Mobius replies. “Very.”
Getting into a strap-on harness with one hand slippery with lube isn’t easy, but you’ve got no small amount of practice. When everything is in place, you shuffle up to Mobius, who shifts his legs, spreading them far enough to allow you to kneel between his knees. You use one hand to line up the dildo while the other holds his hips steady, then you carefully push forward.
Mobius lets out a gorgeous noise, quivering under your hand as the dildo disappears into him by tiny increments until you’re fully buried inside him, your hips pressed against his backside. Off to the side, you can hear Loki’s breathing growing more labored. You pull back, and then push forward again hard enough to make Mobius gasp. Another sharp thrust, followed by half a dozen slower ones, and he’s already moaning needily, rocking back to meet you. You grab his hips to hold him steady.
You know just how he likes it; how he loves the build-up from slow and measured to hard and desperate, and you give him exactly what he wants, leisurely rocking back and forth to begin with, looking down to watch the dildo sliding in and out of him, which has no business being as hot as it is.
You make the mistake of glancing over at Loki, and almost falter in your established rhythm. He looks amazing. Face flushed, hand carefully working his hard cock in time with your thrusts. His trousers are barely pushed clear of his hips. At some point he has unbuttoned his shirt, and his free hand is resting on his chest, fingertips circling his nipple. He notices you looking, and his face briefly lights up under the weight of your attention, a sly grin spreading over his features. He somehow manages to sprawl out further, the movement of his hand speeding up, his breathing even heavier and faster than it was before, eyes still fixed on you and Mobius.
You decide to follow his example. Your abdominal muscles and hips are starting to ache a little from the effort, but you ignore the discomfort in favor of picking up the pace. Mobius obviously approves, his moans getting increasingly wanton. When you snake one hand around his middle and press your hand against his stomach. he obediently moves until he’s sitting upright in your lap, back pressed tightly against your chest. This new position is easier on you, allowing you to shallowly thrust up into him, while he helps keeping the rhythm by moving up and down on his own. It also makes the dildo hit his prostrate with each thrust, and the desperation in his movements and mewling moans reflect this fact.
“How does he look?” you ask Loki, your voice strained.
“Beautiful,” Loki answers without even a moment’s hesitation. “The both of you... you’re beautiful.”
You don’t know why, but that last part makes you smile, and you press your face against the back of Mobius’ neck to hide your expression from Loki. You reach for Mobius’s cock, wrapping your fingers around it and letting your hand follow the rhythm of your increasingly erratic thrusts. Mobius lets out a sound of pleasured relief, head lolling back to rest on your shoulder. The position puts your mouth in reach of his throat, and you place a wet kiss there, before biting down where his shoulder meets his neck.
Mobius gasps, twists his hips, and comes with a long groan, spilling all over your hand and his sheets. His movements falter, but you pick up the slack, thrusting up into him, letting him ride out the pleasure. You only stop once you feel him shudder with overstimulation, dropping your weight down on your heels just as Mobius’ thighs give out as well. You support the both of you for a little bit, one hand on the curve of Mobius’ hip, the other caressing his stomach, but then the adrenaline starts fading, and it becomes too hard to keep you both upright. Mobius notices your discomfort and very carefully drops forward onto his hands and knees once more, allowing you to pull back. When the dildo slides out of his body, Mobius makes a sound of discomfort, so you lean forward and place a kiss on his lower back. “You did so well, sweetheart.”
Mobius makes a satisfied noise, flopping down on the bed and rolling over, exposing you to the sight of his thoroughly fucked out expression, the glow of pleasure and relaxation that’s painted clearly on his features and the way he stretches his body.
“Agent.”
You turn your attention to Loki. In all the excitement, you have somehow missed him reaching his own climax, which makes you unexpectantly disappointed. Not that this sight isn’t attractive as well. His muscles fully relaxed for once, limps splayed out, his normally pale skin flushed with residual arousal. And there’s the whole thing where he is slowly licking his fingers clean om his own come. Can’t forget that part.
“Yeah?” you ask. You realize that you still sound breathless and tense.
“I would very much like to make you come.”
You inhale slowly, pretending to consider it. “If you wish.”
Loki is on his feet in an instant, crossing the distance between you in three long strides while you move to the edge of the mattress. He effortlessly drops to his knees by the side of the bed, helping you out of the harness when nimble fingers, tossing it and the dildo over his shoulder once it’s free of your legs. Your panties quickly follow, and you don’t even get the chance to shift forward, Loki’s hands are already on your hips, firmly pulling you straight to the edge of the bed and pressing his lips to your cunt without preamble. You let out a strangled moan, only now realizing just how sensitive your arousal has left you. When Loki slides two of his impossibly long fingers into you, you let yourself drop backwards onto the mattress.
He doesn’t tease for once, licking firmly at your clit while steadily thrusting his fingers in and out of your cunt. It’s a tried-and-true strategy, and within a minute your back is arching off the bed, your fingers burying themselves in Loki’s hair, needlessly holding him in place as you stubbornly try to keep as quiet as possible. Like he doesn’t know the effect he has on you, like he cannot feel your thigh muscles quivering while your cunt tightens around his clever fingers. Just when you think you cannot stand it any longer without falling apart, Mobius appears in your field of vision. His hair is still wild, his eyes bright, and when he kisses you, his mustache tickles your upper lip, a feeling so familiar to you that you sometimes dream about it. You reach up one hand up to clutch at his shoulder, holding onto Loki’s hair with the other.
You’re not proud of the way you cry out the god’s name when you finally come, but no one is perfect.
By the time you’ve regained your senses, Loki, now devoid of his clothes, is climbing onto the bed and into Mobius’ arms, wrapping himself around him like an octopus. They meet in a deep kiss and Mobius growls, pulling back to lick obscenely at Loki’s bottom lip. “I love tasting her on your mouth,” he confesses, and you feel your face growing even hotter than it already was, while Loki only smiles and offers himself up for another messy kiss. He remains surprisingly passive, letting Mobius suck at his lips and lick into his mouth while you watch in silence, mesmerized by the display.
Loki is hard again when Mobius finally decides to let him go, and the god whines pathetically when Mobius seems genuinely intent on winding the whole thing down. He digs his fingers into Mobius’ shoulders, and although he may seem unabashedly desperate, you can see calculation in the arch of his back, how he holds himself in the most enticing way he knows how, kiss-swollen lips parted, eyes hooded.
“I’m tired, kitten,” Mobius murmurs, planting soft kisses along Loki’s jaw regardless. “Not all of us have your stamina.”
Loki throws you a desperate glance, and although you’re probably just as tired, you feel uncharacteristically indulgent. “All right,” you say, lying back and letting your legs drop open in the laziest way possible. “You’ve got ten minutes before I have to leave for my shift.”
Loki is on you immediately, and it’s clear from the way he shivers when he guides his cock into you that the ten-minute deadline won’t be a problem. You know you’re still tight from your previous orgasm and showing Loki tenderness during round two always works like a charm, so you wrap your arms loosely around his neck and pull him down into an uncharacteristically soft kiss. Loki makes a pitifully desperate sound, seizing your left hip in an iron grip with one hand, gently cradling your cheek with the other, all while he thrusts steadily into you. It isn’t until he releases your hip to reach for your sex that you realize he intends to bring you off again. Luckily he doesn’t misinterpret your amused hum for something negative when his fingertips clumsily circle over your clit. You’re so wet, it’s difficult for him to get proper friction going, but in your state it’s enough.
Your second orgasm isn’t as overwhelming as the first, but it’s longer and somehow more satisfying, the feeling of a cock moving inside you adding to the pleasure in a way a couple of fingers just can’t manage. You muffle your moans against Loki’s mouth, and you can feel the buildup of his orgasm by the way his attention to the kiss wavers, until he’s simply panting against your cheek. He comes with a sound that’s equal parts pleasure and relief.
Your lovers are lazy, you decide as you exit the bathroom five minutes later, having already cleaned up and gotten dressed. Loki and Mobius are still lying on Mobius’ bed, limbs tangled, naked, the former obviously sleeping.
“We have work to do,” you say.
Mobius looks very apologetic. “Can’t. I’m cuddling a kitten. You shouldn’t wake them, you know.”
You roll your eyes. “Fine, I’ll cover for you. You get one hour.”
The smile Mobius gives you is so fond, it makes your heart ache. “Thank you, Agent.”
You snort, only allowing yourself to grin stupidly once your back is turned.
