Let me get this straight because Taylor Swift’s hardcore fans have this unhealthy parasocial relationship with her and it’s really crazy…

So, a year ago Joe Alwyn was the perfect boyfriend because he took Taylor out of her darkest moment, gave her the privacy she needed and shelter her while the entire world was turned against her. She also produced her best work while being with him (and her best love songs may I add). But ever since they’ve broken up, turns out he was the villain because apparently “he never let her shine” since he refused to feed into the crazy consumption of his private life. Taylor’s Swift fandom have speculated and made up the wildest theories about him and even reconned her past lyrics to make him look like he was manipulative and abusive, because one thing about Swifties is that they can’t never just decide that two adults didn’t want the same things because relationships just run out with time…no, Taylor needs to be the victim of every situation and everyone is just an obstacle to her fairytale and Taylor allows her fans and even feeds into it.

But turns out, he just was too depressed and so he didn’t want to marry her. Which mind you, is a very valid reason. You never know what being stuck in a depressed state feels like until you’re in it. And it’s also fair for Taylor to want to walk away if it made her unhappy, but I think it’s wild she let her fandom harass that man for a year because according to her lyrics — he’s dealing with “his blues” and that made her feel caged so she fantasized about another man. Like, her fans were ready to put out the pitchforks on Joe Alwyn — just for most of her album to be about a relationship she had with that racist loser and even wrote a song about how angry she is that her fans ruined it for her. Insane.

as a woc, seeing taylor being so.... whatever this is (smitten and sappy) about matty healy (i don't need to elaborate), and making a song about the people who told her not to date him is honestly an eye opener. I'm not gonna go ahead and say from now on that her music sucks or whatever because folklore and evermore were the albums that made me want to write, which was a big change and realisation in my life. so that is something I will unfortunately, always owe to her. but you definitely won't see me parading around saying that shes an amazing person or that I'm a swiftie (or well, used to be)

We all talk about how Mike wants to be good for Harvey and never let his actions disappoint him but can we talk about how Mike looks at Harvey with love and trust in his eyes and Harvey wants to be a good person for Mike?

Can we talk about that because it breaks me. Harvey already likes Mike from the moment Mike started talking in that interview. He got a taste of Mike's personality and wit and he was hooked.

Mike on the other hand actually dislikes some of Harvey's traits and didn't trust him at the beginning but Harvey proved him wrong by going out of his way to help Mike and suddenly we have these two guys who would do anything for each other.

Mike gave Harvey a chance to be completely selfless and Harvey gave Mike a chance to be proud of himself again.
