Shouldn't have gone to work yesterday. I feel like s h i t

#ive taken three separate covid tests and theyve all come back negative #so either they're false-negative or this is a side-effect of having had covid in august #like are my colds just worse now #bc my lungs feel really having and ive lost all sense of taste #which is of course a symptom of covid which is why im so sceptical of the tests #i mean i could theoretically go and have a Proper Test done #but that involves having to leave the house and take the train to the next big city bc they dont do tests like that anymore in my tiny home #and then id have to go from the train station to the shopping mall which is about a 20 min walk #i guess i could get a bus but the wait doesn't seem worth it #also id have to wear a mask on public transport which makes my throat dry which makes me cough more #and walking is just. tiring.#overall i feel discouraged #also im scared that i wont get my sense of taste back #like after my covid in august i didnt have taste for... 2 weeks? a month?#it came back comparatively quickly is what im trying to say #and that was bad enough #my coworker told me after she had covid her sense of taste didn't come back for a year #and like yeah the first time it came back quickly for me but that doesn't mean its guaranteed that itll come back at all this time #and like i love food and cooking and baking so much and im just scared ill never get to enjoy that part of my life again #(like i just had some apple and orange slices and i feel a little better know so still it feels like if i cant taste food whats the point)

Fun fact! He still does this cute humming thing while he cooks! Most of the time he doesn't even notice he's doing it until he sees you've paused what you're in the middle of to smile at him in a way that pulls his focus from the stove. If he catches you singing it's a whole thing, he'll turn up the song and take your hand, the way he fully committed to his role made it impossible to feel embarrassed. Seeing such a large, imposing man, belt out ABBA with full seriousness is a sight.

The first time you meet his Mother you're shaking like a leaf, terrified to make the wrong impression and scare off Caspian (something that was quite literally impossible.) He's both incredibly touched you were so worried but also lived in a constant state of needing to assure your happiness, so he tried everything he could to convince you she'd love you, that no matter what happened he'd be leaving this place just as in enamored as he came in but you couldn't be pacified, that is until you met her and the small woman threw herself around you with the warmest smile.

She'd gush over you to Caspian as she greeted him the same, her warm welcome wouldn't stop there as she, like her son, showed her love through food and had made a feast for what looked like an entire family.

Caspian barely got a word in the way you two talked and laughed with one another, he could really cry at the sight, especially when she hopped up asking for your help finishing the desserts she'd made just for the occasion. It was like a filter had gone over his eyes, he could see it now, a few kids running around the house the same way he and his brothers did, his mother would be sitting there giving pointers and stealing bits of the fruit you'd have brought from your garden back home. He'd have his youngest on his hip, the other hand would be feeding you from a spoon for the obligatory taste test. He was only pulled out of the fantasy by the sounds of your combined laughter.

Now as for if they have approval issues with darlings.

There's this unspoken rule, that while they'll share the most base-level things about them, they are not to interfere with each other's darlings unless specifically asked.

If they didn't strictly follow these rules, disaster would strike. Take the time in High school when Gabe and Ricky found out they both had their eyes on the same girl, they were on each other like dogs, both bloody and bruised because while Gabriel was much bigger, Ricky had this scary state he'd fall into where he just wailed on someone or something until he wasn't angry anymore if the others tried to step in they risked getting pulled into the scrap, it only stopped because their Mother came home, she rushed inside once she heard the commotion and snatched both of them up by the ear.

After their shared punishment of cleaning the whole house, they'd come up with the system they still used today, all in an effort to keep the peace. Both agreed to share the names and photos of their darling in their brothers-only group chat from that point on, that way if anyone had something to say they could before said brother got attached, Caspian had always found the system stupid and only ever agreed to it to get the younger two off his ass, he followed his heart and wouldn't stop until he had you securely in his arms. Damn what anyone said.

And yet, that first night after he met you he found himself sending over the most recent selfie you'd uploaded, he found your socials seconds after finding your full name and waited on bated breath for their response.

Gabe: 'She's cute, you meet her in that class you took today? Need any info?' Gabe was always the best at getting information fast, people loved him which meant he had connections.

'No thanks- I wanna do it myself.' He shot back, the second he sent that picture your fate had been sealed with him entwined.

Marcos: 'Took you long enough, any problems?'

That was Marcos for "Does she have anyone in her life in the way you want me to handle?"

'So far so good, no rats on the runway.' His two youngest brothers had a taste for violence and often enjoyed the process of clearing off those rats. He knew if he needed something done messy and mean, Marcos was the man.

Caspian rolled his eyes not expecting much more from his enigma of a sibling. And lastly, he waited on his hardest to please family members.

Manny had yet to respond, instead, about fifteen minutes passed then Caspian received a call.

"You serious about her Cas?"

"As a heart attack little man." The nickname was a cheap play but he knew it soothe his violently protective little brother. "I gotta wait a minute before then but when she's ready for it I'd love for you to meet her Manny." He heard a shaky inhale before a deep sigh, ever the unpredictable one, he soon flipped his tone, now sounding like the 22-year-old he was, "You gotta' tell me everything Cas! What's she like? Does she smell good? Do you have a ton in common or is it like opposites attract kinda thing??" He'd spend the whole night on the phone dishing to his brother, the weight off his chest gone.

All in all, they play it safe!! Although in a fucked up timeline they all want the same Darling- Oh baby you are gone.

💌 VENT

I just made cookies for my family last night and they keep trying to get me to eat them. The worst part abt 4n4 for me is my love for food. I love baking, cooking, I hate how my enjoyment has been sucked out. I can't get over calories I can't enjoy food anymore which is helpful bc I need to lose weight but also it sucks bc baking is one of my favorite things to do. Now I'm too scared to eat what I make. What if I gain? What if I start binging?

OMG I hate binging sm and the purging that comes after sucks too.

THIS MADE ME REALIZE HOW MUCH OF A FATTIE I AM IM SO ASHAMED

I hate how I can't be disgusted with food, like i wish I was one of those girlies who have no problem with hating food and saying no. My relationship w/ food sucks sm like I'm so scared of it, I get panic attacks when I eat. I wish I could hate eating but I don't. Atp everything is a fear food.

The first date was very awkward.. Iguro didnt talk much unless if he was asking something, or coming up with a complement for you. Even so, Just being around him made you happy. Even with these awkward moments.

Hes not the type to be "Soft" or "Shy" but he did get a bit scared when his bandages almost fell off around you. Not knowing what you'd think of how he truly looks. Since with the bandages he looks like some sort of, "Bad boy with a dark side" type of guy.

Though he did show you when you got a few months (9-10) into the relationship. Please praise him and tell him how beautiful/handsome he is, he truly deserves it.

The first time you both slept together was awkward again. Iguro was practically shivering but didnt want to tug the blankets away from how cute you looked, yet you were wide awake.

If you have any hobbies or interests he'll try them out. For example your hobby is cooking and/or baking. (For this scenario I'm just assuming your a demon slayer.) Once you've came back from a long mission there'd be delicious food on the table made by him. Perhaps your favourite too if you've told him.

He'll let you style his hair as well, Put it in a pony tail, A small braid. He doesn't mind, infact he enjoys it. He finds it cute when you do that.

Hes not that much into PDA, the most he'd do is hold your hand. Though in private he can be the most loving man you've ever seen.

Once again. PLEASE tell him how much you love him. Hes so touched starved and probably hasnt felt love that much until he met you.

Occasionally lets you take care of kaburamaru once in awhile, for example if hes busy taking something up with the other hashira.

Back to the sleeping topic, he probably kicks so hard in his sleep, I dont know why.. This is just a gut feeling.

His kisses without his bandages feel like heaven <3 his lips would most likely be soft.

Would, and will defend you with his life. He knows you can handle some things like slaying a low-ranking demon, Though he'd still protect you.

If you get mad easily or anything he'd try to be as patient with you, though he does get slightly irritated.

Not too much into PDA but he'd at least try to hold your hand, in private he's quite romantic <3

opinion on circuses: ive only been to one in my life and i really enjoyed it apart from the clowns who i found scary but i was like 8 i think. im less scared of clowns now. also the general aesthetics of them fuck severely

do you have any sense of direction: hardly lol! i have a great photographic memory so even going a certain route once with someone who knows the way i can remember it HOWEVER i am utter shit at finding my way with a map on my own. google maps is always open when im trying to find a place and even then i frequently go in the wrong direction or miss a turning. i just cannot translate distance on a digital map to irl distance. don't even get me started on using a traditional map bc g-d above. id end up more lost than i was before. im excellent at just confusing the hell out of myself <3

Asher 🌹 Riddle n Asher dont interact much but they dont have any negative views on each other. Neither have different conflicts of interest nor does anything that the other would see as wrong. Asher is respectful towards Riddle n while he thinks Riddle has a bit of anger issues he rather look at his skills as a mage. ♠️ Asher n Deuce have a v good friendship! Deuce loves knowing small bits n pieces of his future like what might happen tomorrow or n 20 years just small mundane things rather than big important things. Deuce has asked Asher to keep anything thats important to himself because he thinks thats to much to know. Asher is very fond of Deuce as he can tell he isnt wanting to know his future for gain but rather a curiosity n to Asher thats very respectable. ⭐ Asher usually has to limit Kalim to no more than 4 questions a day because loves getting his future told n will even ask Asher what he will b doing 5 mins from now. So while Asher loves kalims excitement he cant use his UM all the time on whims for Kalim. Sometimes Asher will tell Kalim small lies like what he will b eating for lunch which Kalim gets excited about Asher future predictions not knowing Asher can smell what food is packed in his lunch box.

Azar 🐍 n 👑 already answered here! ♣️ Azar finds Trey rather boring and unimpressive he thinks Trey could do so much more with his UM than make sweets taste different. Azar also isnt a fan of sweets n baked goods so he doesnt even find his cooking to b something to brag about. While Trey finds Azar a little to much to handle the tiger beastmen is a little to intense for him. Trey rather stay out of Azar’s way n when they r face to face he acts nice so that Azar doesnt get to competitive or see him as a challenge.

Rusty 🔥 Idia hates Rusty and thinks hes a cheat. Rusty always winning every game he plays even f its his first time not to mention always getting lucky pulls on gacha. Idia just knows hes cheating but doesnt know how to prove it. Rusty isnt much of a gamer but he like everyone else likes to win so he does use his UM to boost his odds he thinks Idia’s reactions to him always winning r funny so he keeps doing it. Rusty has offered to pull for Idia but the other always refuses saying he doesnt need others luck. 🐲 Malleus can tell Rusty is a powerful mage and can sense that he has strong magic he just doesnt know what Rusty is able to do or how strong Rusty actually is. He doesnt buy Rusty’s just a average person façade n knows he concealing his true magic. This makes Malleus very weary of him as he doesnt know who Rusty is or what Rusty is doing with so much magic. Rusty knows Malleus can see thru him so he never uses his UM around him so he wont b able to pick up on it. Rusty isnt scared of Malleus but will pretend to b like everyone else so he doesnt stand out to much and avoids Malleus as much as possible the less ppl who know how strong he is the better. 🐾 Ruggie can tell when some ones lying and Rusty is def lying about something he just doesnt know what. But then again Ruggie doesnt really care much to find out all he really knows is good things happen when Rusty is around so therefore he cant b that bad of a guy. Rusty likes Ruggie n find his uncaring attitude towards his secrets refreshing as he doesnt have to worry about not using his UM around Ruggie. As Ruggie likely wont figure it out exact n Rusty can give Ruggie a little bit of luck to go on his day. N sevens knows he needs it when taking care of Leona.

for my appearance, im 5’2, have long brown hair, brown eyes, a summer tan, rosy cheeks, and a few moles that dot across my face! my sister and friends tend to say i look like sarah cameron from obx (the literal biggest compliment i wanna melt whenever i hear it) so i feel like that’s a pretty good indicator?? i tend to dress fairly soft and girly, and i love to dress up and do my hair and makeup, even if i’m not going anywhere. like, i’ll just hang at my house with a full face of makeup in a little party dress and watch cartoons ansbdken. i also really love platform shoes!! being tall makes me feel so cool, and my friends make fun of me since i’m actually the shortest in my friend group (fun fact lol)!

for my personality, im pretty energetic, optimistic, and bubbly! at least i try to be, i have a slight caffeine addiction so that probably plays a part. im also fairly soft hearted and sensitive, so i don’t really stick up for myself if i feel bad, but if someone’s hurting my friends or someone i care about you better bet that i will square up >:(. im very loyal and love the people im close to, and though i may try, im not much of a fighter at all. i have a lot of love in my heart and it just pours out sometimes so i tend to smother those i care about in it. im pretty clingy and affectionate, and i love hugs, hand holding, and headpats, both giving and reviving because i think they’re just so cute :)

Dream trip: i dropped my sister off at the airport yesterday for her to return to New Zealand and these last few weeks where she came back to see us made me realise how much i miss her and want to go out and see her in the home shes made for herself.

Last book you read: im currently reading ‘Pine’ by Francine Toon. Its pretty good so far, dark and ghostly. Just how i like my coffee.

Last book you enjoyed: when i had covid i bought all the WTNV books and i really really enjoyed ‘It Devours’. It has humour that hits out of nowhere, Much like in the show, just before handing you a load of grief and layered plot which i loved!

Last book you hated: um, i wouldnt say i hated it- just had a bit of a weak ending but The Castaways by Lucky Clarke had me up until the final part and i was left feeling a bit ‘eh’. I definitely wouldnt have chosen that ending.

Favourite thing to cook/bake: fire. Apparently.

Most niche dislike: people who loop the lunge line under the horses jaw when lunging them. Do you want a horse with a snapped jaw? Thats how you get a horse with a snapped jaw.

Opinion on the circus: ive only been to the circus once and that was when my parent in a last stitch attempt to save their marriage went on a cruise, leaving their children at home to care for eachother for a week. And my sisters took my and my little brother to the circus. I dont remember much of it apart from the horses. Its a weird memory and my opinion on the circus is very much as long as theyre not being crappy to the animals and workers i think its a cool profession and way of life.

Do you have a sense of direction: yes? Im too scared to get lost but also too stupid to read a map.
