The boss took it for me. Just looks odd with me essentially being upside down, lol.
Anyway, another quality routine courtesy of Vytas. Exactly the type of routine stated in the description.
Before making my high fat (and high quality and taste) sardine and cheese (etc.) salad, I had a decaff instant.

Yin Yoga focuses on long-held, passive stretches to target the connective tissues in the body, such as the fascia, ligaments, and tendons. Unlike muscles, which respond well to dynamic movement and stretching, connective tissues require long, sustained stretches to promote mobility and flexibility. Yin yoga poses are held for anywhere from one to twenty minutes, allowing the body to slowly and gently release tension and increase range of motion.
Yin yoga has its roots in both Taoism from China and Hatha Yoga from India. Taoism and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) emphasize the concept of balancing yin and yang, the two opposing forces of the universe. Yin is associated with the feminine, receptive, and inwardly focused qualities, while yang is associated with the masculine, active, and outwardly focused qualities. Yin Yoga aims to balance the yang energies in the body by cultivating stillness, introspection, and surrender. Yin Yoga is a contemplative practice of being with what is and surrendering to the cycles of nature.

5: TV show of the year?
Psych! I introduced the boyfriend to the show towards the end of last year. We've been watching the show in order and it's been fun to see his reactions to everything. This is also the first time in a while that I've watched the whole show in order, so I'm noticing and appreciating more than I did before. Sadly, we have fewer episodes ahead of us than behind us, so soon we'll be looking for something else to watch.
19: What鈥檙e you excited about for next year?
Grad school! I'm going back to college in the spring for my MA. I'm planning on focusing more on medieval literature, and I'm VERY pumped about it.
24: Did you keep any New Year鈥檚 Resolutions?
I don't think I did. I had planned to read 20 books in a year, but only made it to 16. I don't think I'll be finishing anything in time for New Year's Day. I'd also planned on reading more books that I actually own before buying any new ones. That went out the window, though I don't regret any of my purchases. Ah, well. There's always next year!

I learned I have hypermobitity today and so much in my life makes since. Why I have chronic joint pain as a teenager, why my joints click, why i was always so bendy, why my arms twist so much, why my fingers bend back like they're fixing to grab something, it all makes since and my doctors thought I was just a artist who was always hunched so my neck hurt 24/7.

Any day that includes yoga is a good day.
My second workout this morning was a mixture of dynamic flows, static holds and balance work.
A really good all-round routine.
Then an hour just chilling before my delicious salad. Yep, I still have salad in winter. I'm not a seasonal eater, lol.

Pretty much immediately after that, it was boots and raincoat on for an hour outside in the dull, wet, but still beautiful forest.
Just a few miles. But no matter what the weather is doing, active time out in the fresh air is massively beneficial.
Always glad to have pushed myself out the door!
