That girl is such a hard worker, she always tries her best in order to improve and help herself.
That girl treats her body, mind, and soul with kindness and acceptance.
That girl knows herself and doesn’t let others push her around or try to hurt her.
That girl loves herself more than anything.

I truly advocate for Pilates 💕 it’s low to medium intensity, and works the smaller muscles on the body so you won’t “bulk up” like when you do traditional exercises such as push-ups, or doing heavy weight lifting—which works the larger muscles. Pilates tends to “lean you out” more without bulking, and a lot of workouts can be done either sitting/standing without too much movement. It’s like the perfect medium. You use your own body weight, get a lean/tight body over time, less stress on joints, and you don’t have much of a risk for injury (versus other workouts like HIIT, cardio, or weightlifting). It’s like yoga to me 🧘🏾♀️

My two goals for this week are:
Silence the chatter. The constant negotiation, the decision making, the anxious burbling of my brain. Putting routines in place and making them second nature means no longer agonizing over every little thing - so this week I’m meal prepping, I’m sticking to my schedule, and I’m not negotiating with myself.
Focus on feeling good. It is my job, my responsibility, and my privilege to feel as good as possible. I deserve it. Now, it’s time to tune in to what feels good to my highest self. It’s eating well, getting sleep, working out, focusing at work.
Here we go ️
