People talk about "queerbaiting" a lot but we should name the very specific occurrence that happens when a piece of media unnaturally forces a straight romance onto the characters out of the fear they will be perceived as gay. I propose the term "straightened out."

For example, "star wars really straightened out finn and poe in the rise of skywalker," or "the mcu really straightened out loki with his relationship with sylvie," etc, etc

you were helping him in the lab but when reached to get something you accidentally hit his face with your hand, ha tries to control his laughter when you were apologising and him saying its ok but with the 5th apology he put his hand on his heart sarcastically ''you are right! how could you hurt your beloved tony?'' he said failing to control his laughter. ''yeah your fine!'' you said rolling your eyes while chuckling.

STEVE ROGERS:

you were walking and listening to music so you didnt see were you are going, suddenly you hit steve and made both of you fall he asked if your ok and you were apologising continuously witch made him chuckle.

LOKI LAUFEYSON:

you two were practicing in the training room so you were both going easy suddenly when you were trying to do a move you hit him hard the chest well he is a god and he felt the pain 30% lower naturally (i totally made that up) but it still hurt. you stopped the fighting pose and went to him ''omg are u ok? i am so sorry!'' you helped him get up while you walked him to the bench and he kept refusing, he also didnt wanted to admit how much that hurt he sat down ''i almost forgot how strong you were!'' he said smirking.

JAMES (BUCKY) BARNES:

you were at a mission and you were shooting an energy blast to the enemy but it accidentally hit bucky and kinda threw him to the wall! while someone else was taking care of the enemy you went to bucky and apologise then helped him up and huged him witch made him blush.

THOR ODINSON:

seriously you think you can hurt him? even if you literally try to kill him he wont even blink! so when you accidentally hit him in the face he asked you if your ok?

STEPHAN STRANGE:

you where practicing with Wong and Stephan was reading a book near a lake. suddenly when you where blasting powers at Wong he went away and it hit Stephen making him fall into the water. you where trying to control your laughter while helping him get out but Wong didnt bother and immediately burst out a laugh. after you apologised Stephan started laughing to and you joined them.

NATASHA ROMANOFF:

you were trying to control your powers but it hit nat which made her fall to the ground! you immediately helped her up and you apologise and she gave you a smile.

WNADA MAXIMOFF:

an enemy tried to hide behind her when you were attacking him but luckily she shielded herself before she could get hurt and you apologise.

Chapter One - Freya

I heard some noise outside but decided to ignore it. There’s always something going on here on Asgard. Warriors getting back from battles, a party in the gardens, some festivals. You get used to it.

I continued reading my book as there was a light knock on my door. ‘’Come in?’’ I asked and placed my book beside me. ‘’Hello dear,’’ Frigga smiled at me, ‘’Have you seen Loki?’’ ‘’I haven’t, why?’’ I grew curious. ‘’Well, we haven’t seen either Thor or Loki, but as you guys are close, I was hoping that you knew where he was…’’ She looked around my room. Another loud bang came from outside, startling me. I jumped up from my chair and walked over to the window. ‘’Omg..’’ I gasped.

‘’What is it dear?’’ Frigga asked as she walked towards the window. She gasped ‘’Oh my!’’ We both looked in horror as Thor threw his hammer down on the bridge, trying to break it. With one big swing he succeeded and the brothers both flew into the air. I looked at Frigga, ‘’Go.’’ She said.

I left my room and ran. I ran as hard as I could. Once on the bridge it was unstable and not easy to run on. I saw both Loki and Thor falling off the bridge. I closed my eyes in horror. ‘’I could have done it father!’’ I heard Loki yell. I opened my eyes and saw that Odin held out his staff, Thor held on and Loki held Thor. ‘’I could have done it, for you! For all of us!’’ Loki yelled once more, the pain was evidence in his voice. ‘’No, Loki.’’ Odin beamed down. I could see the hurt flash in his eyes and his hand loosened around Thor’s. ‘’Brother, No!’’ Thor screamed but Loki slipped, falling down the abyss.

‘’Odin, what did you- Loki!?’’ I looked over the bridge, ‘’No!’’ and without thinking I dove after him. We fell in a dark abyss. He didn’t see or hear me as we both fell. We were eaten up by this blueish green dust as we were transported into another realm. With a big flash another world came to sight, but I couldn’t see Loki anymore. I was falling hard and screamed. How do I stop myself? I won’t survive this. I crossed my arms over my eyes and hit the ground hard…

I woke up to the sun burning me. My hands felt painful against the scorching sand. Once I could open my eyes, I saw nothing but sand. Where was I? Slowly I turned around, nothing more than sand.

I looked down at my hands, cuts covered them and my arms were bruised. I felt dried up blood on my face and touched my brow. I winced, as there was a massive cut, slicing my brow in two. I tried to stand up, my leg giving out under me. My pants were cut up and my leg was covered in blood. What happened to me? How did I end up here? I tried to think about what happened, nothing. Nothing came to mind. ‘’He-hello?’’ My voice came out small and hoarse. No one could hear me. I laid back down. A green flare came from the sky but when I blinked, it was gone. Was I going crazy? Did I see that or was that my hallucination? I sighed and closed my eyes. Think. All I remember is… nothing. Not even my name. A tear slipped from my eye and found its way down my check along my jaw. I could feel the sun burning my skin. There’s no energy left in me. I can’t walk. I can’t scream. The only thing I could feel was the darkness tugging me away…

My body was moving, but I could do anything. I tried to open my eyes with no luck. ‘’She’s dehydrated!’’ I heard someone say. ‘’Get her in the ambulance, well take care of her.’’ I fell back into the dark as they moved me. It all feels like a dream. I still can’t move or talk. Everything hurts. I lost my memories, even forgot my own name. How could this all happen, I kept asking myself.

‘’Miss, stay awake please.’’ Someone asked me. How could I stay awake with no energy left in me?

‘’m, tird..’’ I mumbled. ‘’I know, but we need you awake. We have put you on a IV drip, you’ll be feeling better soon.’’ They told me. ‘’hmkey…’’ I mumbled back. Once the IV started working I could finally open my eyes. We were inside a car, there were two people sitting beside me. One of them immediately started to do a check-up. ‘’What’s your name miss?’’ They asked, again, I still have no idea. ‘’I… I don’t know.’’ I told them and they looked at each other. Did I say something wrong? ‘’How did you end up in the dessert?’’ I shook my head, letting them know that I didn’t know that answer either. ‘’It seems like you have a severe concussion.’’ The male says. I close my eyes as I feel the tears well up. ‘’We’ll take you to the hospital and do some more tests. Do you know where you live?’’ Once again I shake my head with my eyes closed. I hear one of them sigh. A tear escapes my eye and rolls down my cheek. ‘’You’ll be alright.’’ I hear the female say as she strokes my hair. I nod, as more tears flow down.

They took me to the hospital, I had some tests, scans, my bloodwork was checked. I had a severe concussion and a broken leg. I stayed there for months. I still had no idea who I was or where I belonged and it hurt. I don’t have a phone, they even had to explain to me how it worked. They hoped I got one with family in the contacts, but I didn’t. I met a woman, around my age. She was looking for someone to life with her. She had an apartment in New Mexico. I accepted it. I had no where else to go and everything is better then to live on the streets. Susie and I have been best friends since. We came up with a name for me, since I still didn’t know my own. Faith. Because Susie thought that faith had brought me here. I had a purpose to be here. Only thing is, I still don’t know what that purpose is.

Every night I dreamt of an golden city. The greens were greener then here on earth, the water crystal clear, the flowers more colorful. The people were nice. I loved it there and I wished my dreams never ended. I started keeping track in a notebook. Sometimes there’s even an man with bright green eyes. He always smiled at me when we crossed paths. I never thought anything of it. They were just some nice dreams. Nothing more. But I do longed to live there. I looked so peaceful and perfect.

Like I had a purpose there…

2023 CHARACTER WRAPPED

I was tagged by @st-eve-barnes to share my top nine characters of the last year and I'm so sorry - this has been sitting in my drafts for three weeks and I completely forgot to post it 🙈. Thank you so much for the tag, darling!

There is probably no doubt about the Nr 1. right?

2. The second is also pretty obvious - no surprises here 😅

3. Now it starts getting complicated 😀 The show of the year for me was definitely The Last Kingdom and not only because of Sihtric who will probably live rent free in my head for ever. I loved the whole setting, the heroes and the villains, the male and female protagonists. I even loved Aethelwold - it's rare to see such a perfect portrayal of a small and disgusting weasel who starts as a small offended drunkyard and develops into mean, plotting intrigant ready to go over dead bodies. So - for Bebbanburg and all the great characters that made this show exceptional for me! Stiorra and Siggtryger are only representing they all 😅

4. I really loved the S1 of Loki and I have my reservations for S2, but then Tom Hiddleston being such a great actor as he is convinced me - I think I love Loki solely because of him and the way he lives that character.

5. OK, this was unexpected, but thank to certain efforts of some incredibly talented people here I have to admit I'm slowly starting to fall in love with this blondie. And I love his brother too, but only a certain fandom variation, so I can't put the original character here, as I still think he's a moron

6. Some movie stuff needs to be included too, so I must mention this handsome guy

7. OMG It's already Nr. 7 and the underrepresentation of female characters on my list is disturbing. Shit. This is discrimination pure, so here we go Barbie:

8. This year I not only finally watcher The Last Kingdom, but also another gorgeous show that was on my watch list like for ever and fell in love with another beautiful and strong woman. For me she was the real star of the Vikings.

Brunhilde: 9/10 shes funny i like her and her character, esp when she had to like hide her feelings and stuff rlly hit deep

Göll: -0/10 shes like paimon 2.0 her voice is really annoying stfu

Lu Bu: 7/10 he was kinda scary looking when i first saw him and he still is but hes kinda cool

Adam: 9/10 love him for being a supportive husband yk but omg when he died it was so sad

Raiden: 7/10 didnt like him at first, but he grew on me

Nikolai Tesla: 10/10 I LOVE HIM HES SO FUNNY AJAJJAGJANGJNRJGAUGNUNIG i love his personality and his face hes cute

This is this request, sorry it took so long this is probably not so good but I'm not doing okay mentally, sorry again

Summary: You get too scared while streaming a horror game, Loki comes to the rescue!

You were an important member of The Avengers, skilled in combat and gifted with powers of aerokinesis, but also, skilled in video games

Growing up as a kid who was left alone most of the time you grew to be attached to games, specially combat or shooting games, opening a YouTube channel you grew big in fairly small time

Tonight you were at the common area, streaming on YouTube a challenge you were encouraged (by a big donation of money) to do

Yourmom has donated $10000

Play a horror game sissy

You were so flabbergasted at the donation, so much money, you had to do it

So, setting up everything to start, you chose to play a stupid game that picked up the sound of your microphone, why? Because you're an idiot-

"Okay guys we're gonna play this stupid game"

In the room were Peter, Steve, Bruce and Loki, keeping you company, totally not there in case you got too scared-

So far the game was being fair, you weren't making too much noise until Thor sneezed and almost made the windows explode

"THOR! WHAT THE FUCK?!" At that moment you got a huge jumpscare "FUCKING HELL"

The guys couldn't help but laugh, Thor was still confused as to what you were doing

"Can you guys please stay quiet? I need silence so I don't die"

"So you don't die?! Where's the danger?!" Thor said standing up wanting to summon Mjolnir

"THOR NO! Not real danger! It's just a game!" Another jumpscare "Fuck me..."

In that moment Loki walked in "With pleasure my lady"

The others looked at him

"Too soon?"

"Way too fucking soon Lokes" you continued playing "Godamnit where do I have to go?"

Loki sat down next to you, on another rolling chair "What are you doing my lady?"

You suddenly forgot you were live, to almost 10 thousand people, and acted like normal around your lover, Loki

The other Avengers knew about it, the only people that didn't know, were your followers and subscribers

"What is that?"

"It's a generator, I have to get them all on so I can get out, before the demon comes get me" you whispered

"Why are you whispering?" Loki asked you

"Because it picks up on the sound of the microphone" you heard a growl near you "Shit shit shit- Loki!" It was now a real death animation, the demon came up to you, grabbed your neck and snapped it, then a black screen followed "DAMNIT!"

Loki laughed at you, holding you down to him, now you were crying out of frustration, you almost had it

"Shhh it's okay my darling, I'm here" he soothed you, the camera was picking up everything and chat was going crazy

"But, but, I almost had it Loki!" You cried out and he kissed you, softly so you would calm down

"There, you better darling?"

You smiled at him like a fool in love "So much better"

You were so caught up on the moment until a donation made you realize you were live

"Shit" Peter said next to you, you screamed and jumped when you saw him "Hi!"
