So I have this au idea and I don't what do you think k buuuttt imagine that everything goes wrong and Silver dies trying saving malleus for the blot like getting consumed by it instead of malleus, the ultimate sacrifice, and mallleus realizes it and in it grive uses one last spell, a time spell.

So he gets back in time but not like the beginning of the year o noo he come in the moment Lilia found Silver and he decided that now he is the one that is going to keep Silver, and takes him to the palace and basically raises him as his future consort and wife. So he is going to be with him forever the only one that it's not going to leave.

..... what do you think jajaja I would lo e to make a fic out of this but sadly my writting skill are 0 to none 🥲

OOHH I’m intrigued. Upon first reading this my first thoughts were, oh oh oh dadson mallesil!!! (Im nasty)

All of Malleus’ moves would be calculated in this scenario since he more or less knows what they lead to. And he has the chance to groom Silver his own way now. So both Silver and Lilia turn out different here. Lilia will think of Silver exclusively as an object, he might even despise him, and Silver won’t inherit the values Lilia taught him in the other timeline. But Silver’s attitude and personality are something unique to him and they shine in every timeline no matter what. It’s part of his very essence, no grooming will change that, and Malleus wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s his kindness, his selflessness, his effortless beauty.

Malleus doesn’t teach him the sword, instead opting for music, dance, literature, but not too much, and sewing. He tells Silver never to approach a weapon… but the boy is predestined to wield one, so when he sees Malleus’ weapons (his favourite is the spear, but he is also skilled with the sword and the bow—he has daggers and halberds, all hidden behind a magic case, because he doesn’t need them much, his bare hands do a great job of crushing human skulls), he is fascinated. He wants to learn how to wield the sword. Malleus hesitates. He refuses. Silver takes it with a disappointed look. If Malleus plays his cards right, Lilia won’t be seduced by Silver, and he won’t teach him the sword… which, well. Malleus is furious and teaches Silver a lesson. But… he softens after and finally allows him to wield the sword, but ONLY if Malleus is the teacher. He is the father, after all. (Sorry.)

Silver is docile and in his mind, all of this is very normal. He has no contact with the outside world. He is the only human he knows besides a doctor who is sometimes brought in from another land to check on him. (The doctor is very worried for him but he can’t do anything. Silver wonders why he always looks so… wistful.)

The rose garden is theirs. It’s their sanctuary away from all gazes. It’s so romantic… when Silver is old enough, like 13-14, this is where they first kiss :,} they get married when Silver is 15.

In this AU I feel like Malleus wouldn’t go to NRC. He already has Silver, all is well. But also… if Silver meets other humans, he might gain some awareness and become unhappy with his predicament. If this ever happens, Malleus will put everybody to sleep again 🚶🏻‍♀️

Sebek gets brought in when he’s around 14 to train for the army. He’s tasked to act as Silver’s retainer, which he HATES. He wants to be Mal’s retainer. He’ll be very uninterested in Silver, mean as well… you may be the prince’s consort, but you remain a human!!! I hope youre grateful to Malleus!!! Silver doesn’t care, which makes him mad lol.

Those are the #thoughts I can come up with… this is a rly good au we love a mastermind malleus

Can you tell us something more of what happened to them at the end of Sacerdos et Draco

I hadn't really decided on anything solid before this, but I'll try!

I see the Malleus in Sacerdos et Draco as slightly more mature from the outset. As in, not quite as panicked about loss. That helps the Sacerdos ending not just end up as Malleus repeating his does-something-shockingly-terrible schtick.

Basically, Malleus brings Rollo home. This would be prior to much interaction between fae and humans within the borders of the Kingdom of Briar, so Rollo would be an oddity rather than a representative of the species that had nearly destroyed the kingdom. I imagine other fae would not understand why Malleus would want to marry this short-lived creature, but they'd go along with it.

Malleus is crowned king shortly after their arrival. Even with all that's on his plate, he spends a good amount of time teaching Rollo magic. His ability is far less than a good fae's would be, but he's decent for a human and him mastering more difficult spells is more rewarding for Malleus because of it.

The culture would be difficult for Rollo to adjust to, but I think he'd be more open to it. He has less reason to keep his guard up and he doesn't hate magic on principle. No matter how long he lived there, he would always be the foreigner, but the Kingdom of Briar would be more accepting of some of the fundamental building blocks of who he is (his sexuality, his magical ability, etc) than the church.

In Sacerdos, Jehan's death is at least partially a religious issue. "Jehan used witchcraft, so God killed him." By losing his faith, Rollo might not shed all of his guilt, but I think a decent chunk would evaporate. Also, Malleus gave him an explanation that seemed logical to Rollo and told him there was nothing he could have done. I have no doubt that Rollo would always carry a bit of guilt over Jehan, but in this AU, a lot of it became irrelevant or was soothed. Rollo would have an easier time just living. He can love Malleus out in the open because fae aren't so picky about who can kiss who, he has some purpose in mastering magic in Jehan's stead, etc. Overall, I see him as just... happier. He doesn't have to devote himself to avenging his brother--he can simply be himself.

Though he'd probably take a while to warm up to people, regardless. He would shadow Malleus until he became comfortable in the castle without him. And he turns out to be politically adept, so he helps Malleus quite a bit.

There's no Sebek or Silver in this AU, so I guess Rollo would end up talking to Lilia a lot more than he normally would. Oh, maybe he can chat with Baul...

Would they have children? They don't even know if it's possible, but they might try, again with Malleus carrying the child. Thanks to magic, the fae's infant mortality rate must be way lower than the human one.

No ending between them can be a true happily ever after because of their lifespan difference. But this one is as close as they can get. Rollo lives a full life with his dragon. A part of him can't quite shake those Catholic teachings, so he tells Malleus that he'll wait for him in the afterlife (whether that be hell, heaven, or purgatory). But do fae believe in such a thing? What if the human afterlife and the fae afterlife are different? Would the gods make an exception and allow one to go to the other? I'm not religious, but I am a sap, and I love the idea of Malleus meeting Rollo in the great beyond...

Rollo's death leaves Malleus distraught and he's in full mourning for probably a century. He had portraits and maybe a statue commissioned. Rollo also kept a journal, because he's Rollo, and Malleus would have hidden all of them away so he could read them when he grew lonely. Eventually, like after his death, someone would find them and hand them off to historians, giving them a unique insight to the lone human who lived in the Kingom of Briar. If they had children, then every fae with human genes in the Kingdom until a certain point could trace their lineage to Rollo.

All in all, it's a happier ending than they usually get.

Dorm Leader x Hypnotized! Imperial Heir Reader.

You have been acting weird lately. Always snapping at people and acting so rude towards your servant. This gives some a big question mark. What happened to their beloved Imperial Heir?

This situation not only confused the servant but also the consort. You are always so a soft-spoken person and never raise your voice over something trivial. But now... Everything they do is seems wrong to you.

In a short time, the few consorts notice something weird. You spend so much time with this newcomer. And whenever you get out from his rooms, you back to that evil mode.

'This is not right' they thought. And they hunch was right. They caught the preparator in the act. They are just in the middle of hypnotizing you back and the consort just burst in with a sound effect and order the guard to capture them.

Okay. I'm joking 😂 but the situation is almost similar. I skip the rough scene and get into the headcanons.

Malleus Draconia

You cry and hug this boy.

You remember all the awful things you did to him.

This boy tries to make you calm and said it's okay.

"I'M SORRY!!!"

"No no no... My beloved. This is the preparator's fault. Not yours. So dry those tears up. I know that you would never do anything that broke my heart." Malleus said smiling.

Malleus has held a grudge. A very big grudge. So he orders Lilia, Silver, and Sebek to save him a spot to teach that person a lesson personally.

You just turn blind eyes to that. You will join in if you can but your recovery is much more important.

After that, you will spend the most time with him. Sleep in his rooms for 1 week full and give him you attention.

Smug dragon boy 😂

Vil Schoenheit

Yes. You basically apologize to him over and over again.

"Calm down, my dear... Wipeout those tears away. You still need to explain this to the whole palace and give proper punishment to the preparator."

Vil understand that it's not really you that do the awful things to him but he is irritated at the person who did this.

Make the preparator his test subject. What? He needs to test a few of his potion effectiveness. Although it put the preparator in a very deadly situation more than once. They soon wish they were dead instead.

Leaving that scary thing behind. You start to give Vil everything he wants. A new silks, make-up, accessories. You also spend more time with him and always go out with him.

Vil is smirk when he sees other consorts' faces. That insult is very worth it.

Leona Kingscholar

"Calm down, herbivores... Your tears hurting my ears. Come here." His reaction is to hug you. Boy not good with words

You cry like a baby in his chest and keep mumbling sorry. He sighs, what happens to the grace of the Imperial Heir.

Spend the whole day trying to calm yourself down. He sleeps there, you have a problem?

After that is over, he turns his attention to the preparator. They would never survive the wrath of the lions.

What did Leona do?

Easy. Just throw him into the lion den and watch how they struggle to survive oh! Not to forget with their eyes plucked out.

Riddle Rosehearts

This boy are so angry at the preparators that he lock their magic away.

Immediately calm yourself down and keep saying the encouraging words.

Order Trey to bake your favorite sweets and bring him a cup of Lavender tea.

After calming your down, the punishment for the Preparators is given. He is a stern judge and based on Queen of Hearts rules. The preparator's head is going to be chopped and hung outside the gate.

Azul Ashegrotto

This boy holds a grudge more than you.

Left you in the room to settle the score with the preparators.

He destroys not only the preparators but also their family. Slowly from the social. He makes the tweels spread a rumor of the family's bad deeds. Only after that, did he play with the family financially.

Satisfied with that, he allow himself to return back to your rooms and calm yourself.

You told him how sorry you are and he use this situation to his advantage.

"Ah! My poor heart! Your words that day still pierced through my heart."

"I-is there something I can do?!"

"You can start by spending more time with me~"

Kalim Al-Asim

You cry, he also crying and Jamil has a headache.

How would I describe it? Kalim hugs you very tight bury your face to his chest and cries. You also can't help but cry.

Jamil needs to calm your both down.

It takes days to do it because no matter how much Jamil tries, he can't get Kalim to let you go. It's cute how you both get tired and fall asleep in the middle of the crying.

Sometimes later, Kalim woke up in the middle of the night and quietly get out of bed. Jamil already waiting in front of the door.

"Did you prepare it already?" Kalim ask. Jamil nods and still does not try to look directly into Kalim's eyes.

"Good... I give this brave man a gift they wouldn't forget..."

If you think the other consorts punishment is worse. Kalim is much worse. He comes from the land of Sands. His hometown tends to get creative to punish the servant that makes grave mistakes.

Kalim comes from a wealthy family so he is familiar with the sight of brutal punishment. Unfortunately, he has to use this method towards the Preparators.

Oh well... Maybe along the way, he can learn how to enjoy their screaming for mercy?

Idia Shroud

This boy is so panicked that he get out of his room using a slipper and without proper clothing. He even destroys a few of his consoles but he can buy that later.

When he reach towards the Imperial Heir rooms and found the situation had already been resolved.

Few people point it out at him and his clothing. That was when he realized his attire.

"U-um I'm s-sorry! I will just go back."

But the Imperial Heir stop him and told everyone to leave. After everyone leaves, they immediately latch themselves towards Idia.

"I'MSOSORRY!!! YOU ARE MY ADORABLE FIREFLY!! NOT A SHUT-IN USELESS CONSORT!! I CAN NOT BELIEVE I SAID THAT HORRIBLE WORDS TO YOU!!"

"I-It's okay!"

Idia is awkward at trying to console you but he tries his best. Eventually, you feel tired and fall asleep in his laps.

Now, Idia looks at his tablet while forming a plan to destroy this person's social status.

Oh no! He didn't believe killing the person that did this is the right decision.

If asked about this, he said to let them go and put them on house arrest.

Other people wouldn't want to associate with him or his family and that for Idia is already the worse punishment ever.

Okay I was thinking about how the other charathers that Arent the great Seven would react to the NRC students in the house of mouse AU. Like i can Imagine Azul asking Ariel if She wants ti make a deal with him and Ariel Is like "lol no", or the First year see Cruella de vil at One of the tables and they are like "She look so much like Crewel that She's giving us PTSD" or kalim and Aladdin becoming buddies :D.

Well, let me put in some headcannons then:

Word goes around that some of the Great Disney villains come to visit Yuu and everyone gets jealous.

So now whenever Yuu goes to work they always get asked to have them visit their world.

So, Yuu just says, “Meh ok, you guys can visit me whenever just ask one of the Great Seven or go through the mirror in my dressing room-“

And suddenly Yuu gets someone they met from the House of Mouse ever other day. It’s literal chaos and Yuu doesn’t know if they should feel exasperated or flattered.

Anyways, here’s some interactions between the dorms and some Disney Characters:

Heartslybul: Obviously when Alice comes to visit, she comments on how Heartslybul reminds her of the Queen of Hearts’ garden. When Yuu mentions that they paint the roses red, Alice sarcastically asks, “Does the dorm leader behead people who don’t paint the roses?” “...Well, he’s more lenient now but...” “...You’re serious?”

Ace and Alice get along swimmingly, basically quick quips and a lot of teasing. Yuu regrets introducing them to each other because they know the two are going to get into some sort of trouble. Deuce also gets along with Alice, though he can get lost in Alice’s rambles in imagination.

I think Alice would get along with Trey and Cater. I mean, they both give big brother vibes (Trey more than Cater). Trey would give Alice some tarts and Alice is like, “....He’s cool.”

Cater is going to take a bunch of pictures, and Alice is very curious about the device he’s holding (I don’t think phones or the internet existed during Alice’s time so...). Cater ends up teaching Alice about the internet and phones.

Riddle...ohhh noo. Once Alice broke one of the 810 rules and Riddle lightly scolded her for it. Alice thinks most of the rules are ridiculous and while Riddle has toned down on being strict, he’ll quickly get annoyed with Alice questioning the rules. There’s rules for a reason! The dorm was founded on these rules!!

Savannaclaw: It’s Simba, obviously. He’s curious to see the dorm after his...nefarious uncle. It’s much more nicer than he expected, though he’s a little off put by the dorm’s...rowdiness.

But he’s impressed with the Magishift practices they have when Yuu showed them.

He likes Jack, right off the bat. Jack has this sense of justice that he can relate to. I think they would get along pretty well. Oh, and probably how strong and buff Jack is.

Simba is wary of Ruggie, due to him being a hyena beastmen. He has...bad memories of hyenas. His wariness is correct, since Ruggie has tried to swindle Simba and Yuu to do some of his work. Does the relationship get better? Only if Yuu makes them hang out with each other haha.

Leona reminds Simba of Scar...to a certain degree. Lazy, cunning, and has this look where it seems like he could be planning something nefarious...

Ok, maybe not that bad, but Simba is weary of Leona. He kind of expected a character similar to Scar since this is the dorm based on him but...still. It’s really odd. It’s kind of rocky, but if Cheka comes over to visit, well...it could get better.

I mean, Leona does find Cheka annoying and calls him a brat but...Simba can tell there’s no malicious desire towards Cheka, which raises Leona’s “evil people don’t interact” list. That doesn’t mean Leona’s in the clear, but he’s ok.

Octavinelle: Surprise, surprise, it’s Ariel! She comes over, human legs and all. (Don’t worry! She got them from the nicer sorcerers). She wanted to visit Yuu and see how great NRC was! They had fun, and then they went to Mostro Lounge.

Ariel is terrified of the Tweels. They give her this...off putting feeling and they’re very intimidating. She does not trust them at all. She does like how they get up close and how they speak as if she’s some poor soul waiting to be taken advantage over.

That’s also why she does not trust Azul at all. He reminds Ariel of Ursula - especially when he tries making a contract with her. Uh-uh, no way. Never again.

This leads to Ariel dubbing NRC a dangerous place for Yuu to stay at. Why doesn’t Yuu come live with her and her family back at her world? Surely it’s much more safer than here! Why, Melody already sees Yuu as a big sibling so why not just stay at the castle permanently?

Ursula fumes at the thought of her enemy trying to take Yuu away and become their parent. That’s her role, dammit!

Scarabia: Kalim invites Aladdin, actually. It’s the most funniest scenario. Yuu mentioned to Kalim about the street rat that wooed the princess and Kalim says, “:00 WE SHOULD INVITE HIM!!” Jamil sighs and facepalms.

It’s actually going great! Aladdin is kind of shocked at the big party that Kalim threw, but it was a great welcome. He’s shook that Kalim apparently trusted Aladdin enough to show him the treasury room. “It’s open for all of the dorm to use! I don’t need much of it!”

Wasn’t NRC rumored to be a villain’s school??? What is this ball of sunshine doing here???

Actually, the Scarabia duo are good in his eyes. Sure, a little rough around the edges with Kalim being a bit too naive and Jamil being more of a watching snake, but they’re better than what he expected. Aladdin gets along with them pretty well!

And then they go on a carpet ride when Kalim introduces Aladdin to his magic flying carpet.

Yuu and Jamil scream at the two of them to get down as they fly across the night sky.

Pomfiore: oh no. Oh no no no. Snow White visiting Pomfiore is like...Neige visiting.

Vil is cold to Snow White, and she knows why. She’s seen the images that Yuu had of this “Neige Leblanc”. He certainly reminds her of her younger days. Which is why she completely understands why Vil is so standoffish of her.

What she doesn’t expect is Rook singing her praises and also kind of...watching her. It’s low key creepy but Yuu says it’s normal and since he doesn’t mean any harm Snow White lets it slide. They do have a good conversation though. Snow White learns to understand Rook’s...eccentric hobbies.

Epel and Snow White go together like apples and oranges. They go pretty well together, but they have contrasting differences. They could be passed of as siblings with their cute looks, as much as Epel hates to admit it. Though I’d like to think they have this “Soft big sister with a gremlin of a little brother” dynamic. Or “Big sister that is harmless but has a badass little bother” dynamic. Just...a cool sibling dynamic, basically.

Ignihyde: Hercules comes by when he hears that a dorm was based off of Hades. He had to see what it was like. He expected the doom and gloom, but he didn’t expect all the technology.

He and Ortho go along swimmingly. I mean, he’s pretty chill around the more upbeat and cheery dorm member, at least. (Seriously, the others were such buzzkills). He also gets a good impression on Idia when Ortho affectionately talks about his big brother! Wow, so the kids here do have a heart! Unlike Hades-

Ok, so as much as Ortho talks so highly of Idia, Hercules does not see how Ortho does. I mean, Idia is a complete shut in and gloomy recluse! Why do you stick around him?! It isn’t until he speaks his mind about that comment does Ortho turn into a crazy murder machine. (“How DARE you speak of that about my brother!!”) Yuu has to save Hercules and the entire dorm before Ortho blows up the school.

So now Hercules sees how inseparable the two are and how much they care for each other, which yeah, that’s pretty cool. (Is also low key jealous, how come his half brothers weren’t like that?)

Diasomnia: Aurora visits with Maleficent. Both do not share ill will after their stories are completed. They actually do make amends. So Maleficent invited Aurora to see her grandson, and Aurora politely accepts.

They have tea with Malleus, and it is a very pleasant conversation. Aurora gets along well with Malleus, even suggesting maybe she should invite him and Maleficent to her kingdom one day. (Maybe when she gives birth to a beautiful baby. Maleficent liked that)

Lilia is also a fun one to be around! Aurora was so surprised by his scare that she had laughed. Ah, what a funny fae! Why, she hadn’t laughed this hard since...well, never. She likes Lilia and will come by if she needs a good laugh.

Poor Sebek though....he acts all uptight around Aurora because she’s a Queen and also aquatinted with Maleficent...he must be respectful to her at all costs! It takes a long time for Sebek to at least act a little casual around her. Maleficent says it’ll take some time, though Aurora isn’t sure if that time will come on her lifetime...but for the meantime, she is still happy to be around Sebek’s presence and have pleasant conversations with him.

Aurora and Silver...ok, let me say this: they got along during a sleepover. The Diasomnia gang + Maleficent and Aurora had a sleepover in the dorms to “better know each other”. I also think Aurora would feel sympathy for Silver if the conversation of him tending to fall asleep came up. Heavens knows she still has her sleepy spells even after her curse was broken.

Also- wofhenod I just imagine Aurora and Silver walking in the forest together and a bunch of animals surround them. (Yuu finds them and cries when they actually attracted a bunch of adorable puppies (or whatever animal you find cute). Cute, adorable animals that are so gentle with them that they start to cry due to stress from being at NRC (Silver and Aurora look at Yuu with concern and gently start comforting them)

Winfendien Suddenly I want a twin dynamic with Silver and Aurora. Even a sibling dynamic would be cool. Just two sleepy siblings that won’t hesitate to kick your ass.

Hi Chii! This is for the TWST ANNIVERSARY, and scenario format is fine. Main focus line is Silver: “You want to study together? You work really hard.” Next character is Riddle: “Have you been to the library yet? You should definitely stop at least once sometime. There are a lot of books you’d fine useful there.” Oof, that was a lot, and hopefully I did this right, if not I can always resend it if you’d like! ~🍒cherry nonnie

❥ cherry nonnie, is everything alright? you’ve been making me smile from your asks but i understood you on your first ask <3. may our waiters, silver & riddle rosehearts, treat you with this anniversary special dessert!

“Oh, hello there.”

He greeted you with a gentle smile; no it wasn’t Silver, it was his father. You-- a young-second year no older than seventeen -- bowed at the older mage in a sign of respect.

“Good afternoon, Mr. Vanrouge! I assume Silver already told you about my arrival?”

“Of course he did,” tittered the old fae as he let you in. “He surprisingly woke up earlier than he usually does.” Lilia led you towards the lounge of their shared home within the Valley of Thorns.

“Oh, one more thing--” he opened the door to the lounge, “--avoid the second floor for now. Malleus is still asleep. We wouldn’t want to disturb him. Though, I trust you and Silver to keep it down with whatever you two plan to do today.”

You nodded, going inside after thanking him. Your eyes scanned the room in wonder. The Valley of Thorns’ common interior design always held dark colors. The only exception is when one of the home’s residents is light-colored, y’know? Like, tousled silver hair scattered on the couch arm, maybe even a white turtleneck hugging his figure, his aurora-colored eyes closed for the world not to see, and his pinkish lips slightly open while soft even breaths blew out.

And Lilia said he woke up early, yes?

“Silver,” you whispered out, looking over the door while folding your lips and looking back at the young man on the couch. “Silver,” you called out louder, nudging the said man until he groaned and opened his eyes.

As his eyes came to view, you leaned forward, waving at him with a closed-lip smile. “Good morning-- or should I say afternoon?” you giggled. Silver blinked, and blinked, and blinked. His brain slowly processed what happened until he recognized your face. Jolting up into a sitting position he rubbed his eyes as he muttered, “I fell asleep...again?”

“Nothing I’m not used to. But I’m glad you actually waited for me.”

You sat on the windowsill across from him, and while you looked at the horses at the nearby stable, you heard him shuffling from where he sat. Still looking a tad bit drowsy, he watched as you swung your legs back and forth. “I wanted to ask for some help. You’re the only one who I can approach since, well, you’re the only one I’m closed with. I also believe you’re great at teaching.”

Confused, Silver stood up from the couch and stood beside you on the window, “You’re saying?”

“I want to study with you when it comes to horseback riding. I really need to ace my exam,” you said, gulping as you watched one of the horses run around freely. You were never confident around horses. Not that they scare you, it’s just because of their boisterous behavior. They can kick and probably trample over you if you don’t handle them properly.

“You want to study together?” Silver mumbled, glancing at you while you nervously glanced at the horses.

“If it’s no trouble, Silv. I just really need some help.” Your eyes met his. He could sense your determination despite the worry and nervousness in your system. He doesn’t doubt his horseback riding skills, yet he knew himself that he has more training to do. Maybe, both of you can learn something new together.

“Alright,” he agreed, “Let’s head to the stables.”

The height of the horses baffled you. Horses are no stranger to the Valley of Thorns yet you never actually got a chance to come near one considering you never even needed to. Each horse held their own distinctive color; white, brown, black, spotted, and there was even one with a long white mane and a thick tail. It was beautiful.

Silver caught sight of you staring at one of the attractive horses their stable owned. It was his horse. “Do you want to ride Cloud?” His hand caressed the horse’s snout -- the mammal exhaled as a response to the touch.

“Cloud?” you repeated, reaching out to gently touch her soft mane. “She’s so beautiful...”

“She’s a rare Gypsy Vanner. A gift from father when I first rode a horse. You could say she’s become a friend of mine,” Silver shared, and while you listened, a smile stretched on your lips. “Then you must really be fond of her,” you said.

“We grew up together, so to say.” Silver cleared his throat and opened the stable door, his hand tightly held the reigns as he let Cloud out of the stable. The way she lightly neighed, her little shakes of relief, and the way she nudged Silver made you giggle yet feel weary. What if she doesn’t like you? What if she ran too fast?

“Don’t be scared. She doesn’t hurt anyone,” Silver reassured as he adjusted the saddle. “Anyways, what is your exam about?” You followed him towards the equestrian facility (the place where horses are trained), walking beside him as you eyed Cloud.

“Just basic horseback riding training. Cantering, galloping, trotting…” you explained. Not that hard, yes? You don’t need to have Cloud jump over bars or make her do tricks. Just basic running techniques to pass your exam. Silver, is no doubt, surprised. It’s really simple. But what if you held another horse?

He hummed, letting Cloud stand steadily, he reached out for your hand and led it towards the horse. “It’s important that the horse knows you. They need to trust you in order to listen to you. I don’t want you to make the same mistake I did before.” Your hand felt Cloud’s soft fur around her neck. It exhaled in delight, signifying that she knows you and would most likely trust you.

“What did you do?”

Silver looked away embarrassed, he vaguely remembers the day like it was just yesterday. How could he forget the fact a horse nearly sent him flying just because he rode it immediately without even acknowledging the fact it’s a wild horse. Thanks to the Great Seven, Lilia and Malleus were there to calm the horse down and grab him before he got severely injured.

“It’s nothing… Come, I’ll help you up.”

Oh, to be aware of one’s touches must be quite a delight to both parties. You hooked your left foot around the stirrup while Silver held your hand as support while you lifted yourself up the horse’s saddle. Once you’re sat, he immediately kept Cloud steady as he looked up at you. “You good?”

You nodded, smiling down at the horse. “Good girl,” you cooed.

Silver looked at the path ahead of you, he wondered -- should he ride behind you or hold the reins until you got the hang of it? You’re still a beginner and he could either lead you properly by riding along or just standing by. When he was young, Lilia would ride behind him on the horse and he would just learn by watching him handle the reins.

Think, Silver, think.

“Are you getting up? I really don’t trust myself with the horse when you let me handle her alone…”

There’s the answer.

And now he’s behind you with his hands on yours as you both hold the reins. Cloud was trotting on the dirt as gently as Silver ordered her to do. Though with your obliviousness -- more of just being focused on his guide -- you failed to notice the fact that the young man behind you is enjoying your company.

You would squeal out loud if Cloud decided to go faster or tightly hold onto his hand and lean on his chest if you felt like falling off. It was hard not to find you adorable. And yet you’re still determined to learn. Back in NRC, he, Riddle, and Sebek would often yell at each other if one decides to flop. It’s not easy to handle horses, and yet you’re here handling Cloud well. Someday, you’ll ride another horse with confidence and just by yourself.

He tried to hop off the horse and let you handle Cloud on your own, maybe you aren’t the slickest or the fastest of learners, but you sure could control a horse now. Silver’s instincts were just as fast as he trained himself to be, almost running by your side when Cloud gets too excited with running.

He stayed so alert.

Hell, he didn’t even doze off in a while.

“You work hard,” he praised you after you were able to halt the horse’s running smoothly. Both of you sharing a grin before proceeding with the next course. Hours and hours of practice, and you’re learning.

Lilia even forgot what in the living fuck he was boiling as he stared outside at the both of you. “Now, Silver didn’t tell me he had a little date.”

╰──➢ “ Have you been to the library yet? You should definitely stop at least once sometime. There are a lot of books you’d fine useful there ”

“I thought you would know the way around the Rose Kingdom since you live here,” Cater teased as he looked out the window of the train he and Riddle sat in. The younger boy scoffed and crossed his arms.

“I barely go out of my home. I’m even surprised you know the place more than I do. I know the area but not how to go there.” Riddle sighed, looking down at the phone on his lap once he heard it ring from a message.

A message from you.

That’s right; the only reason Riddle is heading somewhere with Cater was that you offered to visit a historical museum with him. The purpose of this little trip was for you to learn something in terms of magical history. Where’s the fun in just sitting down and reading in your bedroom when you can experience the said history hands-on?

Cater was there to accompany Riddle throughout the journey and would most likely explore his own way while you two converse about whatever question and lesson you had in mind. You knew Riddle was one of the top students in his school. You also knew he wouldn’t refuse an opportunity for him to teach you something he knows.

When the train stopped, both students went off and down the museum just a few blocks away from the station. In front of the said museum was what Cater called: Riddle’s date. No, it was, in no way, a date. It was a simple study session. “Just in time, as always.” You stood up from the bench you were sitting on and met the two guys halfway. Cater had waved at you while Riddle looked at the exterior design of the museum.

It was a museum dedicated to the Queen of Hearts.

Riddle has been there a couple of times already. He has learned to love the place; though it's been a few years since he last visited.

"I'll leave you two here. There's a mall near this place and I wanna look around. See ya, Riddle, y/n!" Cater waved as he walked away. Riddle’s eyes moved back to you, watching as you looked at the museum, "Let's head in!"

You thought, again, thought, that the museum would be bustling with people left and right considering how popular it was in the Rose Kingdom. However, the moment you entered its walls, there were only around fifteen to twenty-five people inside — for the most part, you were in the main lobby.

"What are your concerns about?" Riddle began as he looked up at the huge statue of the Queen of Hearts situated in the middle of the lobby. Astonish were thee as you read the description of the queen.

'The Queen had only one way of settling all difficulties, great or small. 'Off with his head!' she said, without even looking around.'

"She was very powerful, indeed," he said whilst he looked at the decoy of the queen's crown situated in a case. "Those who looked at her, or even heard her name, are terrified."

"What magic does she hold?" you asked, circling the statue as Riddle followed behind.

"She holds great physical strength. As you can see—" Riddle pointed at the statue, "—she was big. Though some would label her as fat due to what Alice said, but in our school, she was mighty. I do wonder how she was able to grow so strong." He walked ahead of you and towards a painting. In that painting held the Queen of Hearts while she played croquet.

"Not only that. She aced in croquet and she ruled over her kingdom for how long. You could say she held authority no one could handle. Not even her own guards and husband."

As he spoke, your legs brought you over the hallways that held marvelous paintings of the queen. He was just by your side the whole time. "You did say you were in a dorm that's named after her, yes?" you asked, looking over at him.

Riddle nodded. "The statue you saw in the main hall was the same statue that's near our school's entrance. It's only proper for her to be standing there. She is one of the Great Seven after all."

"And you're the dorm leader in that dorm. You also have her rules applied to your very dorm. Tell me, Riddle. Do you admire her?" You both stood in front of another glass case. This time, holding the Queen of Hearts' sceptre. A heart with a gold staff, not even a single speck of withering is shown. It looked so expensive and very antique.

Riddle was quiet after you asked the question. Looking at him, you noticed how he stared at the queen's sceptre. Just above that sceptre was another painting of the queen, it was her on her throne with a villainous smirk on her face. It sent shivers down your spine.

"I do."

You faced Riddle once again. He had a serious expression on his face as he faced you. "She's the reason why I became the dorm leader that I am today. It was by my own choice to follow her rules and her doings. Not only for myself but for the sake of my dorm."

"Riddle..."

His voice held the authority of a dorm leader you never got to hear — considering as you go to different schools. You don't know how he is as a dorm leader, but judging by how he looked at the queen's painting, it's enough to convince you that he, Riddle Rosehearts…

Is the King of Heartslabyul.

The glass case that held the sceptre had a small hole — big enough to fit a hand or two — with a note above: 'Touch with precaution'. With a little bit of hesitation, you reached out and touched the sceptre. Warmth seeped through his hand as Riddle, too, reached out to touch the sceptre only for it to land on your hand. You both froze, staring at each other in surprise. It was he who pulled away first, cheeks painted as red as the hallway's walls.

"H-Have you been to the library yet? We should definitely stop at least once sometime." He coughed out, looking away from you. "There are a lot of books you’d find useful there. Didn't you say you wanted to know more about the queen's history based on your topic for your exam?"

And he walked ahead.

Your hand slowly moved to your chest after you let go of the sceptre. Looking down to your feet as you chuckled to yourself. Folding your lips as you covered your mouth and looked back at Riddle's walking figure.

The Queen— well, King — of Hearts may have a temperament. But he sure can be admirable at times when needed…

"Are you coming or not?"

So this is going to be my attempt to summarize the newest episodes of the ghost marriage event (episode 14 to 24) of twisted wonderland. Part 1

Again, spoiler alert since I’m about to write out everything that happened, and I apologize for my grammar in advance.

You asked Ruggie if he would help -> he refused since Leona can just come back himself and he refuse to work for nothing -> you asked Jamil -> He refused, and he don’t allow Kalim to go either, if something happened to Kalim his whole family would be in danger -> you asked Silver -> He can’t go since he have to guard Malleus -> in the end, the ones volunteered to help are Rook, Epel, and Riddle -> Riddle helped because rule number 703 “the 2nd place in croquet has to make tea for the queen in the next day” -> Cater was the 2nd place from yesterday’s game -> so Riddle has to rescue him before today ends -> after a few “it’s fine we don’t need a useless coward” from Riddle, Ace decided to help too -> to perfect the plan, they went to Sam’s shop and got suits and bouquet -> both are enchanted by magic to help them

3 hours left till wedding -> Epel was late -> he showed up while riding a white horse so he looks more prince like -> the ghost ask them to say their proposal to show their seriousness -> Epel is up first

Epel: I will… definitely make the bride happy.

Epel: because I am the prince charming who will always rescue my beloved, no matter where they are! I will never give up no matter what kind of difficulties I face along the way. I will protect you from all harms. I shall be, the prince that matches the princess! Please, marry me!

Ace: if you married me, everyday will be a happy day.

Ace: since we will be together forever, arguments might be unavoidable… but I will always be the person to apologize first. I will be with you for the worse or poorer times, and always put a smile on your face.

Ace: I will the prince that matches the princess, so…

Ace: don’t look the other way. Marry me please!

Riddle: I will swear my loyalty, I promise for a future where I never harm or doubt you for any seconds.

Riddle: if it is for my beloved, I will do anything this body can do.

Riddle: so please… won’t you pick me as your spouse?

->next up is Rook

Rook: ---- beautiful you. Please make me your slave of love forever.

Rook: to think you are trapped in loneliness for hundreds of years, I want to give a poem to you.

Rook: ah! the princess of tragedy! I want to warm your cold cheek.

For how long have you drown in tears.

Those eyes, are blinded by it and weren’t even able to see happiness.

I will gentle cover it with my palm. Now you should be able to see it, yes, this is true love.

I shall light the lantern of hope, inside those lapis colored eyes.

->Ace commented how he felt embarrassed just by listen to it -> Riddle realized that connect the first word of every line you will get “I love you” (in original Japanese text) -> Grim commented how everyone in Pomefiore are pretty weird -> Epel “d,don’t lump me together with that!”

Rook is about to start another poem but the ghost said it’s enough -> but then he commented how they are still kind of short ->

Riddle got really upset, he used his unique magic and then burned the ghost up ->but it attracted other ghosts’ attention and they started to attack them -> Epel let the horse back so it won’t get injured -> so they decided to just run into the wedding hall instead -> in hallway, they were attacked by many ghosts, so Riddle decided to stay behind to stall the ghosts

In wedding hall -> Idia “ ‘Idia used fled’ ‘it’s not effective since he’s stunned’ …some healer please help! I do not have debuff clear skill!” -> a ghost runs in and said some people are trying to forcibly enter -> Jack “in the end they used brute force after all!” -> Azul “who said the plan was to steal the bride’s heart in the beginning again?” -> Cater “I bet 1 bread, that Riddle is the one that got upset first.” -> Floyd “aha, I can see that—then I’ll bet 2 bread on the same side~” -> Jade “that won’t be a bet anymore.” -> Cater “that’s true~!” -> everyone “hahahahaha.” -> Idia “my life is on the line and you can still laugh and talk?!” -> the ghost swear they won’t let intruders to ruin the wedding after princess wished for it for so long.

On stairway -> more ghosts showed up, and Rook decided to stay behind this time -> Ace is worried -> Epel told him to look at Rook’s expression ->

Rook “I’ve always been wondering how you can hunt ghosts! They don’t seem to have a body, so maybe I can freeze them with magic? Or are they more like fog? Can I put them in a bottle? Ah my hunter blood is boiling for those unknown preys…!” -> ghosts “s… stay away from me!” -> Ace “…he looks like he’s having fun.” ->

In wedding ceremony -> the ghosts started the wedding vow, but they are so touched that they started crying -> Deuce “we need to stop this somehow!” -> Sebek “but we still can’t move our body!” -> Floyd “I’m tired.” -> Floyd “we can go home if she kissed firefly squid senpai right? Hurry up and do it~~” -> Lilia “he’s right, my back hurts after stand in same position for so long. Just hurry up and give her a smooch.” -> Sebek “Lilia sama has said it! Hurry up and give her the ‘smooch’!” -> Idia “smooch! …If I did that I will die! Are you all demons? Do you not have a human heart? Is this an exhibition for ruthlessness??!?!??”

Outside -> many ghosts showed in front of Ace Epel again -> Epel stepped up -> but the ghosts aren’t attacking him -> ghost “you are the neighboring country’s princess right? Are you here to attend the wedding?” -> ghost “oh princess, please stay away from that violent intruder! Hurry up and come here…” -> Epel “who…”

Epel “WHO ARE YOU CALLING A PRINCESS--------!!!!!” -> Epel stayed behind to fight the ghosts

In wedding ceremony -> everyone “kiss! Ki--------ss!!” -> Idia “STOP THE CALLING!!!” -> Lilia “we can’t move anything but our mouth, can’t really do anything and we are bored.” -> Eliza(the ghost princess) “ah, it’s almost midnight… the time for the kiss! After that, I will be forever with Idia in the land of the dead. I, could finally be happy…!” -> “WAIT A SECOND----------!!!!” -> it was Ace -> many ghosts started to attack him and ask the princess to kiss Idia now to finish the wedding -> Idia refuse -> Ace “look at Idia. He hated it so much and is moving every muscle on his face to avoid it. You guys all know your princess made a mistake right!” ->

ghosts “…it was all for the princess. She was so kind and bright, every citizen wishes her the best future, but… suddenly the neighboring country attacked, and everything is gone in one night. We weren’t able to protect her, but the princess never blamed us and she’s always smiling and saying ‘it’s fine. Don’t worry about it. It’s fine. I’m sure someday…’, but there’s no way that she’s fine! Waiting for a prince for 500 years, I can’t imagine how many times have she despaired. We just want to grant 1 single wish of our favorite princess. Our… most important, poor, princess.” -> (player choice: “but you are only increasing the number of poor people.” / “but it’s not good to bother other people.”) -> Ace “haha! MC is right. Besides, there’s no way princess’s ‘perfect prince’ exist. All of you ghosts are just feeding her false hope and made her look for someone that don’t exist for 500 years. I feel like I’ve seen this situation before but… if you feel so bad for her and treat her like glass, that is not consideration at all! You are just having fun while avoid to facing her!” -> Trey “that kind of hurts…” -> Cater “ahaha-…” -> Ace “teach the princess properly! Most important thing about the groom isn’t the look.” -> Eliza “then… how am I supposed to pick the prince beside the look?” -> Ace “I told you, don’t think ‘prince’ as a must. The perfect spouse should be…”

Ace “The person you want to cry and laugh together, the person you want to be together no matter the hard time … someone like that. Don’t make me say something so embarrassing!”

Ace “no one around teaches her something as simple as that? even though you have been with her for 500 years… you basically did nothing for her!” -> Riddle, Rook, and Epel finally showed up. -> Deuce “dorm leader, you are here to save us right! Thank you so…” -> Riddle “Cater! What time is it!?” -> Cater “eh? Emm… the clock said it’s 23:35.” -> Riddle “there’s no time… we have to defeat the ghosts now!” -> Cater “what? What was that?” -> the ghosts are hesitating -> Rook “there’s still time to change now, you don’t want your most important madame angel to become a bad ghost that killed someone right?” -> Eliza “bad ghost? …is he talking about me? I didn’t want to become a bad ghost… I just…!” -> Chubby (one of the ghost) “there’s no need to listen. Princess. You did nothing wrong.” -> Eliza “Chubby…” -> Epel “do you still not understand your own mistakes!?” -> Chubby “mistakes, whatever, I don’t mind. I just want to make the princess happy no matter what. That is my regret… and my wish!” -> Chubby started gained more power -> Rook “this is bad, everyone, get to somewhere safe!” -> Vil “didn’t I told you that we can’t move.” -> Rook “ah that’s right, then… Epel! MC! Roll everyone away like a log!” -> Epel “understood!” -> rolling time -> fighting time

Chubby is defeated, and everyone is planning to put the ring of extinction on Eliza -> Ace “now, what’s your last word? You can say farewell to your beloved Idia…” ->

the princess runs to Chubby -> Eliza “Chubby… to think you would protect me from bad guys, and become injured like this…” -> Ace “bad guys? …is she talking about us!?” -> Chubby “princess, there’s no need to be sad. It’s my happiness to see your smile…” -> Chubby starts to disappear -> Eliza “no… no, please don’t go! I was able to chase my dreams because of your kind encouragement. I need you! Ah… that’s right. I finally understand it now. My real prince is… Chubby, you!” -> Chubby “Princess… Eliza. Me too, I’ve always adored you ever since I was alive.” -> Eliza “Chubby… I love you.” -> she gives him a kiss -> all of his injures are healed -> Eliza “it’s definitely the power of love!” -> Ace “eh…? What…? What is this? Am I the only one that’s not following this at all?” -> Riddle “no matter how you look we are the bad guy now…” -> Eliza apologized to Idia and announced she’s going to marry her real true love, Chubby -> Idia “why do I feel like I’m dumped even though I was never even confessed!?” -> everyone can move now -> Riddle and Cater runs back to dorm to make tea -> Ace “well, isn’t this great. We don’t need to force you to the other world.” -> Eliza “Yes, after this we are going to our honeymoon.” -> Ortho “it will finally be peaceful in here.” -> Idia “ah—this is too much. Honestly too much, I think I’m going to have ghostphobia.” -> Eliza “next year we will be back with a cute baby, I can’t wait!” -> everyone “don’t come back again--------!!!!”

The ghosts all disappeared

Crowley: today really was a tough day. But at least, the trouble is solve…

Rook: wait a second, headmaster.

Rook: isn’t here something else that is much more fitting for this story?

Crowley: that is true, ahem…

Crowley: the two lived happily ever after.

Honestly though this event is real fun, nice fan service in the middle with the proposal, and the interaction of everyone who got slapped and Idia is just way too funny. The little twist is also fun with princess and Chubby... honestly is his name actually chubby? I couldn’t believe it at first but that’s the only word I could think of that sounds like チャビー

Tbh I tried to change around Rook’s poem so it works in English but then I realized that I would have to start sentences with letters like v,e,u so small brain me decided to just translate it literally instead

I thought it would be great during Flying lessons, working together for the day, and maybe talking about their insecurities once they are comfortable with each other. Setting: Flying lessons and after

Characters: Epel and Sebek

Lol I’m so sorry I made Epel a little to cocky…

Sebek watched in awe at the other first year zooming by, doing all sorts of tricks.

“Felmier! Get down here now!” Epel stopped and glided down with a round of his eyes. “You know better then to do all that. This is basic flying not a competition. You could injure yourself or others.” Epel put his head down. “Say if you’ve going this much energy why not help out your fellow classmates?”

“Fine Professor Vargas.” Epel walked over to Sebek and Deuce. “So do you guys need help of something? Vargas says I need to help you guys get of the ground.” Sebek replied,

“No I’ve got the basics down.”

“Same here. I’m taking off now” Deuce then as he said took off.

“Then why aren’t you up there?” Epel glanced to Sebek

“I’m simply watching my lord.” Epel looked up to the sky, covering the sun from his vision, he could see Malleus with Lilia flying together.

“So why are you just watching?”

“I’m to be there incase my lord falls!” Sebek continued to watch Malleus.

“Don’t you think he’d catch himself with magic though?” Epel shrugged with an annoyed face. “Come on teach says I gotta help someone and your it. Let’s go”

Sebek thought about it and decided to follow reasoning ‘Malleus is great at everything and Epel was right and would catch himself’. Sebek and Epel took off rising up to the rest of the class. Epel was top of the first years when it came to flying skills while Sebek wasn’t the best he certainly wasn’t going to fall either. Epel started to lay back on his broom,

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? You might fall, Epel!” Epel chuckled,

“You really think I’d fall Sebek? Not likely. I’ve got time to kill since I don’t have to practice.” Sebek saw a shadow go over him and looked up to see his lord, he continued to watch him for a time. Sebek didn’t notice Epel looking at him now sitting up. “Are you still watching ‘your lord’” Epel mocked “I’ve noticed when you do thinks it’s always because of Malleus or ‘I can’t hang out because I have to watch Malleus.’.” Sebek sighed, “I was entrusted with the responsibility to watch over and protect Malleus, out of all the students and people in the world, it’s MY JOB!”

“Why don’t you do things for yourself?”

“I do this for myself.”

“No you don’t. Come on there has to be something that you love that you can’t do because your with Malleus all the time, like a hobby? Don’t you hate that?”

“Well… I like horseback riding and science. I don’t really get to do my club activities sometimes because Silver or Lilia are away.”

“See. I’m sure Malleus is fine for the hour or two your away. Or at night your not with him.”

“But!”

“No ‘buts’ Malleus is one of the most powerful mages in the world i’m sure he can take care of himself.”

After Flying in a study hall

“Your allowed to talk and work out homework with your peers.” Mozus finished.

Sebek went to sit with Epel. One because Malleus doesn’t have this class and more importantly two what Epel said to him before.

“Hello, can I sit with you, Epel?” Epel looked up and patted the seat next to him, inviting Sebek to sit.

“Thanks for sitting with me.” Epel whispers leading in “I suck at history.”

“Well I can help you then, I also wanted to thank you for what you said earlier, It really opened my eyes.”

“No problem, now the real problem is that I have no clue who this guy is.” Epel chuckled.

“I’m better at Analytical magic, but that’s not to say I’m bad at history.” Sebek started to explain. “There we go. Now we’re even, Epel. I helped you just as you helped me.”

“Thanks, but I have another favor to ask, but I’ll ask at lunch.” No sooner did class end.

When class ended the students made their way to the cafeteria for lunch. Sebek usually sat next to Malleus but today he instead looked for Epel. He eventually found him in the courtyard on a bench.

“Hey Sebek! Come on over!” Epel yelled. This startled Sebek because Epel always had a soft and gentle voice, and never did he raise it.” Sebek walked over a sat down.

“So what was it you wanted to ask?” Epel’s eyes lit up, as he pointed to Sebek’s arms.

“How are you so strong, I could never. I thought you were the best person to ask, that is if your okay with answering.”

“No I don’t mind, it’s simple. I train with Silver in sword play almost everyday, run and general exercises each day. Anyone can do it, I find the simplest way is the best way.”

“You say anyone like it’s easy.”

“What do you mean?” Epel sighed the said.

“Well, it’s Vil, he’s always wanting me to be a dainty little thing, polite and sweet, like a princess or something. And it annoys the hell outta me!” Epel’s voice got more annoyed, Sebek could hear a different accent coming out, but before it could Epel finished. “I just… I hate It. I was raised in the country and I wanna be more of a man. That’ all, and I thought you were the best person to go to about it… Cause I wanna be like you.”

“Hahahaha” Sebek laughed out, “Just ignore him, your, your own person. If you follow my advice, well… help me with something I’ll help you. We’ll just focus on lean muscles, that way they don’t show much. I owe you this much.”

“Awesome!” Epel jumped up off the bench ion excitement, he turned back to ask, “Wait, what did you need help with?” Sebek’s face showed a shy smile and a light blush turned his ears and cheeks light pink.

“Well um. I’m good at science, math and most things, but I’m kinda lacking in the creative aspect of life, and I… I’ve been told to be quieter. If you can help me, I’ll help you.” Epel held out his hand, “Right! I’ll try to help! But just so you know you’re a lot tamer than I am, so I don’t know how much I can help.” Sebek told Epel’s hand to solidify their promises to help the other.

but he’ll be so happy to take you around in one and just take you to see different places

or ya know if he’s that bored he’ll just fly around the dorm with the carpet

honestly i’d think he’d purposely steer the carpet a little bit fast or reckless so you’d feel a little bit scared and just cling onto him the whole ride

like you’d close your eyes and just wrap your arms around his torso and squeeze tightly and honestly he’d be happy with that

he’d teach you how to steer it one day, but for now, he’s just content with you hugging him

you notice the glint in his eyes every time he watches a play, even if it’s just something small, and you find that adorable

he’d just recite different lines from the play you two watched that day and just reenact scenes with you

if you both go the extra mile, you both just reenact the whole play and make it super lovey dovey and adorable

(he would force the other pomefiore students to come watch and honestly you felt like losing your cool but once you met rook’s eyes and saw his burning passion, you didn’t even feel flustered or scared anymore)

so i don’t really know a lot about silver yet but i feel like he’s that type of boy who looks so flat and like a whole kuudere on the outside but he has a soft spot on the inside for animals

like one day you were in the heartslabyul gardens enjoying tea with riddle when all of a sudden ace and deuce come screaming because the hedgehogs ran away

you expected silver to have no reaction but he picked a couple up and he snuggled them close to his chest (and you died at this)

and so you took the initiative to surprise him any chance you get with any small, cute and fluffy animal you can find

of course malleus wouldn’t allow animals in the dorm, so you just borrowed kalim’s many pets to play with for a day or two

so he’d just love to spend time with you and animals, cuz you’re both small and adorable :))

I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I THINK SEBEK’S IDEAL DATE WITH YOU IS JUST THE BOTH OF YOU DOING SPORTS TOGETHER

i feel like you’d both be super duper competitive but then once you get tired, you just basically give up

at first sebek teases you of course but then he’d probably be super duper tsundere-like and actually help you and keep up with your pace

i feel like you two would go on morning runs together a lot

when you’re tired (and still drowsy cuz he insists you run at 6-am) he’ll just carry you on his back and you’d actually fall asleep with your hands around his chest

suddenly you’d wake up in his room and he’ll probably tease you a lot, but he really appreciates the fact that you’re able to put up with him and actually go running together

Warning: Azul’s portion contains spoilers for episode 3, and side story spoiler for Vil’s part

Riddle Rosehearts

You feign incompetence about Practical Magic. You do so well with ancient incantations but you just can’t get things to move how they’re supposed to!

You humbly ask your dorm leader for help and promise not to complain no matter how strict Riddle is

Riddle lectures you on almost failing a course but internally he is glad you reached out for help rather than having him hunt you down

You gasp as an incorrect spell slips past your lips and targets Riddle. Riddle can immediately feel something is wrong as a wave of your magic washes over him.

You screech and bolt, saying that you’ll go get Trey or an upper-year. Riddle orders you to stop but you continue running. At this point, he shouts “Off with your head!” to stop this madness

Except nothing happens

Riddle keeps casting his spell again and again, more frantic each time it fails

Then he becomes red with rage. You stole his magic! He screams while ordering you to give it back. Instead, you stick out your tongue and disappear around the corner, but not before casting a wind spell that sends him flying backwards

Without fail, Riddle enlists all of the Heartslabyul students to find and capture you

Riddle becomes a dangerous mixture of fear and fury. He must find you or else... Well, he cannot think about horrendous consequences that would follow, nothing short of his future being destroyed. Riddle won’t allow it, he can’t afford to.

Leona Kingscholar

Leona hears hurried footsteps, someone hastily running away as he awakes from his nap

He catches a glimpse of your backside but doesn’t think much of it. Some herbivore got scared of his presence and ran, big deal

But there’s something off. His instinct senses it and his mind tries to find clues to confirm or reject his feeling

Leona notices a little prick on his arm, one he’s sure that wasn’t there before. He didn’t nap near any prickly plants, so how did this happen?

His eyes land on an herb, used in ancient incantations and curses, one that he knows NRC doesn’t cultivate because of its dangers and costs

He growls and tests out his magic. The basics seem to work but when he tries to turn a nearby flower to sand, nothing happens

Leona lets out a ferocious roar and immediately tries to follow your scent. You were smart, the garden is filled with too many fragrant species for him to be able to pick out your trace

Suddenly, a wave of nausea hits him as a magic circle appears before his feet. The clever lion breaks the spell but it only adds to his anger

Leona wastes no time in delivering orders to the rest of Savanaclaw, not letting anyone know that his magic was stolen but simply that you had transgressed greatly against Savanaclaw. He probably says you insulted Savanaclaw or were actively trying to sabotage them

He has Jack try to follow your scent and Ruggie find any information possible

You’ve provoked the wrong person and Leona is determined to teach you that. He might be lazy but he wouldn’t let this go. He was going to take back his unique magic and let you taste firsthand why it frightened so many of the servants back home

Malleus Draconia

He should have known better. Of course, it was cursed. You claimed you wanted to share friendship bracelets with the dorm leader and he let his amusement get the best of him.

Oh? What an odd custom but he supposes he’ll indulge you for a while. It seems harmless enough, your questionable craftsmanship showing through uneven knots. You were even wearing a matching one yourself.

Later, as the spell activates when you are far from his reach, Malleus realizes too late your true malicious intentions

Prepare to pay the price

This is an act of war. Malleus is the ruler of the Valley of Thorns and he won’t let you get away with this. The implications of such an act are enormous.

It’s almost impressive if it wasn’t so unbelievably dangerous, for both him and you. While he’s still a strong magician regardless of his unique magic, it’s still important to him and dangerous in the wrong hands. You’re not quite safe either, his unique magic isn’t something just anyone can use and it puts you in danger of overblotting.

Malleus wanted a friend but it seems he’s gotten an enemy instead. The injury isn’t severe for the strong fae but the wound to his heart and pride are far greater. He wonders if he being less open and crueller would have prevented this predicament. The repercussions of losing his powers and what that means considering his position are not lost

There is an immediate hunt for you that won’t end until you’re captured and Malleus has his magic returned. Naturally, Lilia, Silver, Sebek, and many school members will join the hunt, but if it’s not resolved quickly then fae from his homeland will be brought in too

Azul Ashengrotto

Azul is oh so careful. His long contracts are proof as much. He thinks it’s any normal contract, you a stupid unfortunate student that needs some help for Trein’s upcoming history test

He tells you to read the terms and conditions, which you move to your lap to read. You read the first page, skim the next, and he can tell by the fourth page you’re not really paying attention anymore. You rapidly flip the pages, fingers tracing a line or two before you inevitably give up and sign the last page

You thank him with a singsong voice and happily accept his study guide. He thanks you in return for your business and you’re both on your merry way.

Except when he opens his vault, it’s empty. He has the most horrid sense of deja vu. He runs out of his office and demands that Floyd chase after you only to find out you’ve already left the dorm

Once he explains the situation to Jade, the vice dorm leader tries to ensure that Azul doesn’t overblot again while providing Floyd with enough information to track you down

Azul and Jade pour over the contract he just made with you to extract anything that could help them locate you or expose a weakness when Azul nearly shrieks. A clause in the contract has been changed! When? How?! You must have somehow altered the contract with your own magic! That should be impossible yet it was his current reality

Azul is incapable of resting until you’re found. He worked so hard to perfect his unique magic. He thought that losing the contracts was horrid but this was even worse.

He’s teetering on the edge, trying his best not to break down, but it’s dangerous and no one in the Octavinelle dorm feels safe. He knows rationally that he still has his alchemy skills along with his normal magic but Azul feels sick to his stomach without his beloved unique magic

Vil Schoenheit

You came to him between classes on an off chance where he was alone. You explain that you were from Octavinelle and Azul was hoping Vil would test his new lotion! Vil rarely did work for free but last time he had requested some skincare from Azul it had worked out wonderfully, so he decided to accept

A week later, Vil had an unbearable stomach ache. Given Vil strictly controlled his diet and routine, he immediately deduced something was wrong with the lotion as it was the only recent change. After receiving some help from Rook and accessing some medical supplies, the pain passed but Vil’s rage did not

As an act of comfort or some semblance of control, Vil attempted to use his unique magic only to find it fail him. Vil worked hard to improve his unique magic, so to have it fail him sent the magician storming Octavinelle

He demands an explanation from Azul only to find out that every single word you spilled was a lie. Vil does his best to stay in control but fury runs through his veins unchecked. He clenches his hands hard enough to draw blood

Vil demands Rook hunt you down and bring you grovelling before his knees like the traitor you are. He plans to use his knowledge in potions to ensure you experience a blood-curdling punishment that will teach you a lesson permanently

Vil is not above using his large social media gathering to gain information about you, though he might tailor the story he tells his followers, simply telling them that you had transgressed against him

Vil’s mood becomes unstable. He is used to being in control and for his hard work to be rewarded but your little scheme threatens everything. This is nothing short of a nightmare that he plans on ending no matter what

FUCK YEAH LET’S GO!

These may be shorter than what y’all are used to because I’ve got 15+ students to do

They’re under the cut because of how many they are and I don’t wanna take yo too much space lmao

Trey

My mans didn’t do much for graduation

He said is goodbyes to his friends and left quickly

The first year after graduation he went to school to become a dentist

He managed to graduate quickly and moved in with Cater for a bit

Trey saved up some money to buy a building with an apartment in it and moved in there full time to set up his bakery

He returned to NRC to pick up Riddle and he wasn’t expecting the “SEE YA FUCKERS” part

As I said in the last hc post, Trey and Riddle started a bakery together

It’s called “Clover’s Cakes”

Cater

The first year after graduation he became a Magicam influencer

He vlogged about fashion, sports, living with Trey and other dangerous and thrilling things

Cater won’t admit it but he hates living with Trey

Cater and Lilia got their band up and going and once they rescued Kalim from his wedding, Cater sold his house and went on the road full time

He may or may not be a stoner now

Deuce

After Trey graduated, Deuce became vice dorm head

His last two years at NRC were for the most part uneventful

Graduation was very emotional for everyone involved

His mom picked him up from graduation and Deuce started to do odd jobs

He saved up enough money to rent out an auto shop and opened shop

He always made time to meet up with his old friends and classmates

Ruggie

He got some scrutiny from his dorm residents because he wasn’t “big enough” to run Savannaclaw

Luckily he had Jack’s loyalty and beefiness

He was one of the last to leave his graduation because he and Leona had to haul a bunch of food

While Leona manned the physical side of their construction company/charity, Ruggie ran financials and public relations

They often invite Cater and Kalim to preform for the people in the slums

And the band does it for free

Jack

Some rude students celebrated Jack becoming dorm head because “Ruggie wasn’t man enough to do the job”

Jack had put a no violence policy in place, but let’s say that being dorm head meant that he went around it sometimes

He changed the dorm’s image to be a respectable and honorable dorm

After graduation he moved back home and became a pro snowboarder

He can be seen in a bunch of Cater’s vlogs when the band visits Pyroxene

He gives snowboarding lessons to little kids once a week

Jack still has his cacti

Jade

Jade followed Azul after graduation

He managed almost all of the underwater restaurants while Azul managed the above ground ones

Jade took some time off and took a course in psychology

He didn’t really need it seeing that his time working in Octavinelle made him a master at monitoring body language

Jade returned to work and is now known to identify different situations by just surveying a room

Floyd

Yeah he didn’t like working after NRC

He loved graduation because of Riddle’s grand exit

But working in a restaurant didn’t give him the same thrill as squeezing scared high schoolers

Floyd quit working and moved above water to become a dancer

His career took a bit to get off the ground

He ended up signing on with the band to work with them

Jamil

It’s the same as Kalim’s story

But with a lot more annoyance

He knew the wedding rescue was gonna happen but he didn’t know that he was gonna get swept up in it

Jamil took it in stride and is now the manager of the band

He was the choreographer for a bit too until Floyd joined

Purple Haired Scarabia NPC

My mans

He became a politician after running Scarabia

He is the face of equality and freedom for all

Rook

Oh boy

He went on to purchase land and start a game reserve

He invites the guys out there a lot

Vil couldn’t be bothered to go but Epel loves it

Rook doesn’t believe in other haircuts dear god help him

Dorm head for two years in a row? Heck yeah

He focuses a lot on fitness and playing Magift

After graduation he joins a pro Magift team and is now a sports icon

Epel likes to rub it in Vil’s face a lot

Ortho

He also enjoys running Ignihyde

After graduation he joined Idia in his “mission” to invent better technology that helps improve magic

Ortho also notices Idia’s obsession hobby about magic mirrors but doesn’t comment on it much

He basically is just Idia’s assistant

Lilia

He returns with Malleus to the Valley of Thorns and helps him transition into becoming king

His time at NRC was extremely short compared to his 500+ years of age, but he enjoyed every moment

He kept in contact with Sebek and mentored him until the band rescued Kalim

After that Lilia goes back and fourth between collaborating with the band and serving Malleus

He’s a proud dad of his two boys

Silver

Unlike Ruggie, Silver didn’t receive scrutiny for not being the ideal dorm head

He supposed that being close to Malleus had something to do with it

After Riddle ran out of graduation, Silver was crowned Prince of the Valley of Thorns in front of the student body

Silver returned to the Valley of Thorns and lived there as a guard

He doesn’t expect to ever become king because of Malleus’ long life span

But the look on Sebek’s face when Silver was appointed a royal status will be one to cherish forever

Sebek

Oh poor boy

Silver becoming prince, Lilia running off to join a band and Malleus just not needing guards hit him all at once

But Sebek bounced back

He took his time as dorm leader to do some soul searching

Sebek still became a guard for Malleus

And he ended up writing a book about his adventures at NRC

The book became so popular that he often got his old friends together and they helped him write more books

Malleus appointed Sebek “Keeper of the Fairy King’s Library”

Grim

My guy is famous for a lot of things

Being the first monster student at NRC, being the first monster to join a Magift team, starting his own dorm etc

He missed Yuu Prefect deeply but never really opened up about it

After playing Magift professionally for a few years, Grim returned to NRC and ended up teaching his own course named “Magical Studies 101″

The class is mostly for first years who don’t know their Unique Magic and other students who want to study pure magic and its origins

Despite Grim’s attitude while attending NRC, he was named Teacher Of the Year twice in a row

I didn’t leave Ace’s after-graduation life out on accident. I don’t have any hcs for what he does after he graduates because I don’t hc Ace graduating. I’m working on a short story about what that means and it should be out later this week or early next week.

I was wondering if you had any thoughts on how it would go if the MC changed to be the head of another dorm (I basically see the MC as the dorm leader for Ramshackle) and how the dorm leaders (and others) would react to being in charge of Ramshackle. I’d feel like the MC would surprise everyone on how well they can adapt to being put in charge of another dorm even without magic. It would also give other characters some insight in how it’s like for the MC- especially if they could no...

So, this ask was in 3 parts, but it was super long. To summarize, it's the reactions of the leaders of they were swapped with Yuu/MC. I guess Yuu is a dorm leader, but it's because they didn't have a magical soul that they didn't get swapped. However, if one of the leaders WERE to be placed in Ramshackle...well...

Leona: No vice dorm leader. No tenants. No fights. Just quiet. Perfect for nice long naps. Oh wait, the ghosts. They'd better leave him alone or he'll turn the entire dorm to sand. How does Yuu and Grimm deal with these ghosts? Major props to them for having that kind of patience.

Vil: Oh, he is DISGUSTED at the state of the dorm. Judging by the few good pieces of furniture in the dorm that it was a nice, comfy, but a common dorm for the common middle class. It's not as bad as it could be since Yuu seemed to have cleaned it a bit. There is still plenty of dust and it'll be terrible for his hair. Wait, who are these ghosts? Why are they here? Oh no, they are trouble makers. They are going to be keeping him awake all night. It's going to ruin his beauty sleep. He'll get dark circles under his eyes! Also, just the dorm in general is awful. The bed is hardly soft, the mirror is dirty and foggy, everything is still dusty, the wood needs to be shaved for splinters, so much needs to be done. Can we talk about the decor? What kind of dorm is this? What kind of dorm WAS this? How can ANYONE live in a place like this? Yuu has earned Vil's respect for living in a dump like this and being ok with it.

Idia: An abandoned dorm that's completely isolated from others AND no one likes to come near it? What a perfect place to call a home. As long as it has working outlets, he's set for life. Ghosts? Whatever. They can't do anything to him. Wait, THEY CAN MESS WITH THE ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVES OF HIS DEVICES!!! How did Yuu and Grimm live here? Next time he see Grimm, he'll make sure to give him canned tuna.

Malleus: The guy already walks by there every night. It's quiet, peaceful, devoid of others that will run away in fear. There are ghosts? Whatever. He has magic. He's been through worse. They'll probably avoid him anyway. Nothing changes for him. It's like a regular night at the graveyard

Riddle: Well, the dorm could be worse. He could have ended up in Pomefiore. He finds it rather boring. It's an abandoned dorm, so there's no rules he can enforce. At least he can order around Grimm. As for the ghosts, he's not concerned with them. Just as long as they don't get in the way of his duties and school work. If the dorm doesn't have any rules, make your own.

Azul: Oh, this boy is gonna immediately turn it into the next Mostro Lounge. He starts cleaning, rearranging, and planning out the entire layout of how the new lounge will look. Although, the ghosts may be a bit problematic. But since they're still around, there's no harm in getting them into contracts in order to get them to leave.

Kalim: He's gonna throw a party. First, he'll bring some servants over to clean the dorm up, and then he'll bring the camels and peacocks. He'll invite everyone to the feast. Even the ghosts. Now he can say he partied with death. He may or may not have danced with the ghosts too and then befriend them.

Yuu/MC: In Heartslabyul, Yuu would be well respected for being lenient with the more trivial rules. Yuu would definitely convince others why they should follow the more strict rules that are more common sense and logical. They would make rounds around the dorm with Trey, and they would have fun with the other three. At parties, they'd help paint the roses with the freshmen and help Trey bake tarts. Would invite Riddle to the party, obviously. Would also have fun with Ace, and Deuce by extension.

At Savanaclaw, Yuu wouldn't be that respected. After all, no magic and is, probably, a twig. But, they'd be able to break up fights, with Ruggie and Jack's help, and make the tenants come to peaceful resolutions. Leona would definitely respect Yuu if they can stop the brutes from fighting.

As Octavinelle's dorm leader, Yuu would be working in Mostro Lounge. They'd help deliver drinks, take orders, cleaning the dishes, dealing with clients...wait what? Actually, Yuu would be against making contacts. They don't have the means to make contracts nor do they have the morality to make contracts. They also probably don't know the legal complications or have the knowledge.

In Scarabia, Yuu would be responsible and perform regular prefect duties, much to Jamil's relief. Not as many, or as crazy, parties. Nothing much to say here.

Oh, Rook will be all over Yuu and get them on the beauty routine bandwagon real quick. The most Yuu gets out of it is nice, dewy skin. Epel treats Yuu with respect since they're a prefect but also treats them causally since they have helped the school and the student body so much.

I bet Yuu would be confused af in Ignihyde. But Ortho would get a new friend to play with. Like in my headcanon with Azul leading Ignihyde, Ortho would probably teach Yuu basic tech terminology and techniques.

Sebek will be panicking and Lilia will find the situation hilarious. Yuu would probably help Silver with his insomnia. Would probably fight Sebek verbally. Since Yuu is canonically shown to be sassy and have comebacks for other characters, would hold their own against Sebek. Change my mind.

I was in the mood for fluff.

Headcanon AU prompt: Child!Strix suddenly warps to TW! As the dorm leaders argue who would be the first to take her in for the time being, she selects the dorm leader on a whim and grows attached. Saddled as babysitters by Crowley, how do the dorms take care of her?

Note: I had made a post of Child!Strix before. Keep in mind that she’s mute at this age and relies on actions than words to communicate.

Heartslabyul

Baby Strix fled to the safety of Riddle’s long cape and curled up inside despite his protests. She was in a cocoon by then.

The card boys almost dread the worst when Riddle came back cradling a sleepy little girl wrapped snugly in his cape like a blanket. The sight was so tender, they were nearly convinced it was someone pranking them.

Riddle was confident to show Strix a wonderful time at Heartslabyul. On the same day he had Trey bake his delicious cakes and treat her to his favorite strawberry tarts soon after.

The boys take turns carrying her. They almost die of diabetes whenever Strix gives nuzzles on their cheeks and hugs around their necks. So precious! She’s an angel! Deuce actually cried (manly tears mind you) once. Ace was never gonna let it up.

The Heartslabyul gang are just one big family. Trey and Cater are the parents, the first-year trio are their chaotic kids, and Riddle is the exasperated eldest son who tries to keep the whole family in line.

Strix plays dress-up with Cater and he does her hairstyles. It’s clear he totally dotes on her the most as he has an older sister. Having a little sister like Strix is delightful!

“Can we adopt her? Please?” “Cater, the headmaster already signed the custody papers.” “Really?!”

Ace and Deuce alternate carrying Strix as she paints roses red. They also make up quicker when Strix is around so they don’t make her sad.

The hedgehogs and flamingos are quite attached to Strix. They were practically surrounding her. Cater had abused the camera roll by then. He can’t bring himself to delete a single pic! But his memory storage is near reduced to tears...

Bonus: Che’nya randomly popped in during their tea party sweeping Strix off her chair and adoring this cutie patootie. Strix’s shock subsides when she noticed the pierced pointy cat ears and pets them while Che’nya carried her on his shoulders. He even only made his head visible so he’d give the others a spook when he came back while Strix is too focused on his kitty ears to realize it. It was so surreal, let me tell you.

Savanaclaw

Strix approached Leona and looked up with sparkling blue eyes. Fluffy kitty ears are nice! Not scary!

Leona groaned. He himself doesn’t want to take in a kid -especially a girl- back to Savanaclaw. She makes easy prey the moment she steps in. He has a weak spot for children, too.

To Leona’s bewilderment, the girl climbs on him like a tree until she sat on his shoulders and touched his cat ears. She nuzzled her face in his mess of hair and smiled, pleased.

And so, Leona returned to the dorm with a baby owl perched on his head. When she was asleep he dumped the job onto Ruggie. He should get paid for this, damn it. He didn’t sign up for babysitting!

Strix’s attention would wander to Leona’s flicking tail. She would try to catch it and run around Leona’s legs to try to get a feel, or pounce on the bed if he’s sleeping, however it would slip out of her tiny reach. She seems to have fun, though. She behaves like a cub sometimes, it’s really adorable.

Strix would do her best to help Ruggie clean Leona’s room. If only the dorm leader would follow her example...

Baby Strix growling stomach is like a mouse squeaking. Ruggie didn’t think a child’s stomach could make such cute noise.

Jack is saddled with a kid while Ruggie and Leona take care of their own duties. Where is the instruction manual for this?

Strix would fall asleep on Jack’s tail that substitutes for a pillow. Or his fluffy head, one way or the other. It’s easy to watch over a kid when they’re asleep almost 24/7. When she is awake, she would climb on him like he’s a jungle gym.

One time when he gave her an awkward pat on the head, she firmly held his hand in place and she. Freaking. Nuzzled into his palm. Nuzzled her nose to it with a cute smile and blush.

Jack only had Strix for five minutes, but if anyone harms her he will kill everyone in the area and then himself. It’s that meme :D

Every time they go out, the boys would firmly place their hands over her ears to block any foul language Savanaclaw has to offer. They also make it clear to other fellow students to keep their paws off her. Her innocence must be protected.

Octavinelle

Similar to Riddle, Strix went to hide under Azul’s draped coat. Azul then eagerly agreed to take her in. There’s profit to having an adorable guppie at Mostro Lounge, is what everyone called him out on. Azul doesn’t deny it.

Floyd definitely carries Strix by the shoulders. At first it was all fun and games, with how tall being on him was... Until he sporadically pretended to almost drop Strix that she clung to Jade’s secure arms while trembling like a leaf. For once, Jade had a justified reason to smack his brother on the arm without rousing sibling hostility. Floyd got depressed by the flick of a switch.

Strix’s eyes always wanders to the view of the underwater scenery. Her face was glued to the window in Mostro Lounge for how beautiful and breathtaking the sights were. Once, she lied on the floor in the glass corridor admiring the fishies that swim by. She never got tired of it for hours.

Floyd took the opportunity to join her on the floor in hopes of making up to her. Child Strix is a gentle soul to have forgiven him, and the two spent time just relaxing together until Jade and Azul came to pick them up (of course it was weird for two people to be on the floor). Strix was asleep by then.

Strix got curious about the grand piano. Azul played a few tunes before inviting her to join him. She pressed a few random keys that were out of tune, of course, but Strix was excited regardless. The glint of intent interest to explore the practice made him chuckle.

He teaches her the basics. He also encouraged her that her hands are perfect for the piano, which is no lie, and that she would become a wonderful pianist if she continued practicing, much to her delight.

Baby Strix would doze to sleep as Azul played relaxing music, all curled up while her head was atop his lap. What a pure soul this one is.

Scarabia

“Kalim put Strix down!!”

Jamil has another -literal- child to babysit. At least Strix is well-behaved unlike Kalim. Why can’t he take a page from her book?

Kalim has plenty of siblings. His brotherly love rubbed off Strix and made her open up to him more quickly than others.

Kalim bought every kind of ribbon that looks good on Strix. Too bad practically everything is adorable on her.

Jamil really doesn’t mind feeding another mouth. He’s whipped up feasts that feed hundreds of guests for Kalim’s banquets and parties, especially at the last minute. What’s two people to sweat about?* Magic carpet rides are exhilarating for Strix. They were like the baby roller coasters she rode on, but this must be the grownup’s version.

Pomefiore

Strix admires Vil’s dorm outfit between her fingers. The interior red design has fancy apple designs.* Vil boasts how even a toddler recognizes his beauty to compare to other students who fail to see it through their thick skulls.

Like Cater, Vil dresses her in outfits deemed complimentary to Strix and her stunning blue eyes. Strix didn’t mind since Vil was having fun.

Strix is amazed by Epel’s apple craftsmanship. It’d be a shame to eat them, she feels. After being reassured he’ll make more again, she never leaves a crafted apple to rot.

Strix finds Rook’s mannerisms and French confusing, but that’s okay. She’s a child that doesn’t know better. Though she has a feeling she’d still find him elusive even as a grownup.

Ignihyde

Like a kitten, Strix is all-too curious about Idia’s long blue flaming hair and paws at the tips. He had to bunch his hair into a ponytail during her stay.

Idia has his little brother Ortho. Surely he can handle Strix. “Those are two separate things!” He’d exclaim. Too bad that doesn’t prevent him from being a babysitter right off the bat.

Ortho is excited. Now he’s in the shoes of a big brother. He hopes Strix will be an incentive for Idia to come out of his room.

Strix liked how warm and comfy Idia’s jacket (his “school uniform”) looks. She slipped inside while Idia was taking a shut-eye from the monitor and zipped up the zipper before snuggling closer to his warm body heat. It’s like hugging a heater.

Idia woke up to a fright. What if he crushed her under his weight?! That’d be dangerous!

He looks down to see the content smile on her lips. With a sheepish huff he plopped his head back on the pillow. Another five minutes wouldn’t hurt.

Diasomnia

To every dorm leader’s surprise and fear, including Diasomnia’s himself, baby Strix fled to Malleus’ side. His intimidating aura should have warded her away, yet when Strix looks up from the folds of his cape with pure and honest blue eyes, there was no fear. Even as a toddler she knows no fear of one of the most powerful magicians in the world.

Strix dislikes thunder, and thus is scared of Sebek and his lightning bolt for hair. She would flee behind Silver’s leg and stay away from Sebek as much as possible.

Sebek had to befriend her through an owl marshmallow pillow (after listening to Lilia’s advice). Watching her squeeze the pillow made many shed tears from the sweetness. You could practically see flowers and soft light surround the two.

Sometimes they would walk in the lounge to see Strix dozing in the sleeping Silver’s protective arms wrapped around her securely. Like two peas in a pod.

Lilia is amused whenever he looks behind to see Strix lifting his oversized Diasomnia uniform as much as possible from the floor. She follows him like a duckling because of that.

Once, Malleus got depressed for not being invited to an event. Strix tugged on his pant leg and he picks her up. Then she pats his head before giving him a hug in consolation. How sweet, though he realized how the roles have switched; he’s the child, and Strix is much mature for her age.

The day after that Strix would pull him over to where everyone sat before a pretend tea party set. If Malleus had the shame to cry he would have done so. Ugly sobbing, amirite?

Malleus may not admit it out loud, but he’s happy. At least someone knows to remember to invite him. The fact it’s a human child says a lot.

~Personality~ “Why does everyone care so much about who you like? I have no idea who I am, let alone who I like!”

Positive Traits: Quick learner, free spirited, adaptable, energetic Negative Traits: Annoying, mischievous, sneaky, impulsive, attention-seeking

Ruby is one of the troublemakers of the school along with the ranks of Kalim, Ace and Lilia. She possesses the natural inclination to potions that most Pomfiore students possess, but prefers hexing over everything else. As a result, every Pomfiore student now has to check their products twice to make sure they haven’t been swapped or hexed. If Ruby respects the student, the hexing will only go so far. She doesn't want anyone she likes to think she’s a complete gremlin. Unfortunately for everyone else, there’s no telling how far she’ll go if she can get a good reaction out of them.

Backstory and relationships under the cut!

~Background~

“Hey! I’m not all bad! It was one hex after all!”

As a child, Ruby was raised by her helicopter noble parents. They made all of the decisions for her, and raised her to be “A well-rounded member of society”. Ruby didn’t like this at all, and would often find sneaky ways to defy her parents and their strict rules. Don’t like the dress? Don’t wear it until mother makes you, and then spill something on it! Ruby’s ability to defy rules and work her way around them became an integral part of her personality, something she could do with little effort or thinking.

Because Ruby was raised to be a “lady”, she had to sit inside and practice “feminene crafts” and “Proper manners”. Her stitches were huge and wonky, she always dropped her knitting needles. And not to mention she always put her elbows on the table. One day, Ruby’s tutor brought in a book about magic history in the hopes that she would take to it in one last ditch effort to actually teach her something. Absolutely loving it, she asked for more magic lessons. Unfortunately for Ruby, that meant “Bye bye Miss Tutor” whom she had just started warming up to. Her parents made rigorous plans to help get her into Night Raven College, the prestigious magic school. Ruby was very suspicious when her parents started helping her to get into the school, because they had always raised her with the intention that she would marry into a powerful family, minimal spells required. When she asked them about it, they would always reply with: “Never mind that, dear. Just focus on the spell.”

Ruby was sorted into the Pomfiore dorm, along with Rook Hunt, a boy in her year who would become one of her favourite victims for hexes. As expected from a Pomfiore student, she had a natural skill for potions. Her best subject however, was magic history. (It was the first thing taught to her by her magic tutor) Ruby couldn’t care less about physical activity or riding on a broom. (But the idea of flying still seemed pretty cool to her... But I didn’t say that!) So her worst grades aren't even things she’s bad at. They’re just things she doesn't put in the effort for because she doesn’t care.

Her fellow students see her as a mischievous student that you shouldn’t mess with. She does have a sort of moral code which sees her lightening the mood for anyone in any stressful situation. Ruby’s peak prank times are during exam time because of this. She has a wide knowledge of magic and her fellow students know this. Sometimes, they wonder if there's much more to her than she's letting on.

~Relationships~

~Family~

Mother: Ruby isn’t on the best terms with her mother but is thankful yet suspicious for her support in pursuing a career in magic. Ruby finds her compliance with her father annoying and wishes her mother would state her own opinions more often.

Father: Hate is too strong a word for how she feels about her father, but it’s not far from it. Ruby Is suspicious about his intentions for why he supports her “decision” to enroll in NRC.

~Dorm mates~

Vil: Ruby’s an annoyance to Vil. I mean, how can she not resist swapping out a few potions here and there? Her favourite ones to swap out are the hair products. Especially the hair dye. Poor Vil was sporting green locks for a good three days before he found a counterspell. He didn’t even attend school during that time.

Rook: Her most tormented victim. However, it never goes further than making his arrows miss the target or cursing him with a frizzy bedhead. They both have a kind of respect for each other. Besides, Ruby knows that Rook could never get angry at her “Pretty face”.

Epel: Ruby finds Epel a bit boring to play pranks on. He doesn’t outwardly react a lot of the time so she just stopped pranking him. She respects him for being calm and composed, unlike her impulsive self. There may be a little jealousy because of that.

~Friends~

Kalim: Ruby easily gets along with this happy-go-lucky student. They both like to have fun and Kalim causes chaos no matter if he means to or not. Also the rich parents- If it involves Ruby, it’s definitely intentional. She wonders how Kalim is able to create chaos no matter what he does.

Lilia: They’re both powerful in their own right and don’t really bother using their magic seriously. Lilia’s clever sense of humor and wit appeals to her. Prank buddies. And short people club

Ace: Kalim, Lilia and Ruby kind of brought him into the group. They always invite him to help prank students and are more than happy to help him plot more pranks against Riddle and Vil study. They “Recruited” him into the squad when he was bold enough to laugh after they put a hex on Riddle’s tarts. (They sprouted little legs and ran away)

Rook: Again, one of her most tormented victims. The two are more like frenemies, but they really respect each other deep down. Ruby just really needs to control her impulse to hex the arrows. Just one more time… It’ll be the last one. Honest.

Floyd: Same year, laidback individuals just looking for some fun. They met when the Leech brothers appeared to her in the hopes that they could rope her into a contract with Azul. Ruby refused and they left her. Later that day, they had a potions class together and got to pick their partners. Floyd made a beeline for her- asking if she still didn’t want to sign the contract- as a joke. One thing led to another and they became joke buddies. They don’t hang out as much due to their different schedules, but they always crack some kind of inside joke when they pass each other in the halls.

~Enemies~

Riddle: It was one hex. One hex for crying out loud. Now, Ruby’s permanently uninvited from any and all tea parties in Heartslabyul. What did she do? She hexed Riddles (Famous) tarts so they would sprout tiny legs and run away from the tea party. Ruby still owes Trey BIG TIME for getting her out of that mess.

Vil: Well it’s no surprise that Ruby gets on the perfectionist’s nerves. She’s lazy, and impulsive and she had the AUDACITY to replace his hair dye!!!

Jack: The dude just doesn’t have time for her antics and has threatened her on many accounts. She tends to stay away from Savannaclaw anyway because everyone there actually intimidates her. Apart from Ruggie, and that’s only because he’s a fellow member of the short people club.

Sebek: As a joke with the help of Lilia, Ruby organised a party for the whole school and “accidentally” didn't invite Malleus. Lilia took the brunt of his anger and Ruby just suffered a telling off from Sebek and Silver. She retaliated with smart alec replies. Long story short, Sebek low-key hates her now.

Jamil: He does not like the effect she is having on Kalim. There are frequent arguments between the two, but there's an unspoken rule that they never fight when Kalim is around. Gotta protec the cinnamon roll

~Trivia~

- Upon her acceptance into NRC, Ruby’s parents sent her off immediately in a carriage with a trunk full of clothes they had chosen for her. The trunk lies in her dorm cupboard, undisturbed since day one.

- Ruby never speaks of her parents unless specifically asked about them. Even then she disregards them. “They just helped me get here. I don’t really like ‘em.”

- Her favourite person to hex is Rook, and that is the only reason those arrows keep missing the targets in archery practice.

- Ruby’s favourite dessert is raspberry panna cotta, she has a real sweet tooth.

- Chandelle means “Candle” in french.

- She originally had two hair bunches instead of one, but I decided only having one would look sassier and add more interest to her design.

- Because of her helicopter parents, Ruby needs to feel in control of situations. It stems from the frustration and insecurities of never having any choices in her life. Hexing and pranking is one of the ways she does this.

- She experienced a lot of emotional neglect from her parents, so Ruby finds it hard to express herself emotionally. This is the reason she is impulsive and rather vocal.

- Secretly really insecure please give this child a hug she will appreciate it.

- She likes capes. Like, a lot. Also, long hair. Literally anything long and swishy. There is much dramatic cape action with this child.

anon asked: Due to covid19 I been seeing the Asian community getting a lot of hate. So if possible can you make the reader/yuu being base of shan yu (having the hawk and all) And they experience something similar to what's going on with the asian community just no virus. Eventually all the dorms and dorm members help the reader fight back against their attacks. If that possible for you of course to write about.

please check out this post here before reading this post :)) although normally i limit the characters to seven (of the dorm leaders lol) i’ll make an exception for this one as it piques my interest.

“NOTE to self. never pick a fight with nine seniors at once.” you grimaced in pain as you dabbed a cotton ball dipped in alcohol on your cheek. “at least it’s not going to get infected.” you continued treating the scratch on your cheek. your pet hawk chirped as it handed you a bandaid to cover the multiple scratches on your cheek. “thank you.” you smiled as you stroked the top of it’s head. “i’m sorry you had to go through all that trouble of attacking them to make them stop hurting me.” you spoke to your hawk. you sighed as you looked at yourself in the mirror. scratches, bruises, injuries, all over your face and neck. “damn seniors, don’t know shit about respecting their juniors.”

you thought your first year in night raven college was going to be a blast. and well it was a blast...just in the wrong direction. you leaving your small village in the snowy mountains was already such a thrill and you were hoping to have a year full of fun and no worries. but most students assumed that because of where you were from, you were weak and you couldn’t fight back. it was also because your skin was much paler than everyone else and apparently they were bothered by it. judged for the color of your skin. how stupid was that? “i don’t get how stupid some people are.” you growled to yourself, fixing a bandage on your arm. “heeeey (y/n)! we’re coming through!” your eyes widened. you invited your fellow first year friends over and you forgot that now was the time they should’ve arrived. you didn’t have a chance to put on your jacket before grim, ace, deuce, jack, epel, and sebek walked in the room. “heeey (y/n)-”

their eyes widened when they saw you, a wave of panic and worry washing over them. “huh?! say, what happened to you (y/n)?!” grim rushed to your side and looked at you. your legs and arms were wrapped in bandages while your face was beaten up and bruised. “(y/n)! are you okay?!” ace and deuce spoke at the same time. “whoever did this to you shall be sorry!” sebek hissed. “did you get the injuries treated yet?” jack kneeled beside you and examined the side of your face. he saw that you had forgot to patch up one scratch and gently held the bottom of your chin. “hold still.” while he was placing the bandaid on you while epel was pacing around the room worriedly. “seriously! who’d be stupid enough to do this?!” he facepalmed. “well those stupid people who did this are seniors.” you chuckled sorrowfully. everyone in the room paused. “but why?! that’s what i don’t get! why would they even...you didn’t do anything wrong!”

“ace what do you think about me?” you asked him, pausing his ramble. “eh why so sudden?!..well...you’re my close friend. you’re really nice, you’d go out of your way to help others...you’re cool! and you’re really strong.” you smiled, feeling touched at ace for making the statement. “and you’re not...disturbed by my color of skin?” ace looked at you as if you were crazy. “hah?! of course not! why would i be?!” deuce put two and two together. “(y/n)...could it be they’re bullying you...because of where you’re from?” deuce asked you. “of course! (y/n)’s the only one from the snowy mountains...” sebek pointed out. you looked down at the floor. “it’s sad...but true. they think because i come from such a poor, small background that barely anyone knows about...i can’t fight. and i’m stupid. and i’m weak. and i have no potential or right to be here.”

all of a sudden you felt a pair of arms wrap around you from behind. “well whoever they are i hope they’ll learn a lesson of how stupid they are.” jack spoke as he tightened his hug. “(y/n), you’re perfect just the way you are! you can’t be judged for the color of your skin, or where you’re from!” epel spoke before joining in the hug. “don’t listen to them (y/n)! you’ll be safe with us around.” deuce joined in too. “...stupid humans.” sebek growled to himself before doing the same. “yeah (y/n)! i mean come on! i’m a cat and i’m gray in color for crying out loud! white, black, red, brown, yellow, heck even being rainbow colored, is totally okay! what isn’t okay is the seniors judging you for this. sorry to say but they can’t see anything past that.” grim snuggled against your lap. “they’re all right.” ace stepped in front of you, meeting your gaze. “night raven college is a diverse place. we got students from everywhere around twisted wonderland, and i don’t see why the seniors should judge you just because you’re from someplace different than them. this isn’t right. and if no one will teach them a lesson, then we will.”

tears started to roll down your eyes and you broke down. “ace...guys...you shouldn’t...” you started to sob. “whaddya mean shouldn’t?! (y/n) we love you and we care about you. you shouldn’t care about what they think!” grim rubbed his eyes, feeling the tears slowly starting to come out as well. “(y/n). promise use you won’t fight back when they speak to you like that. you have to learn to ignore what they say about you. we understand that you want to fight back, that you want to prove a point, but you have to remember that your safety is also as important.” jack spoke softly. “and don’t believe anything they say, okay?!” sebek added. “yeah. all the things they said to you and about you is bullshit! they’re not true! so please don’t listen to them.” you wiped your tears with your thumb. “you guys...i really don’t know what to say.”

“fighting together is better than fighting alone.” deuce smiled grabbing a tissue from your table and wiped your tears. “now who’s asses do i gotta kick huh?!” epel cracked his knuckles. “but what if the dorm leaders find out...aren’t WE the ones who’s going to get in trouble?” you heard more footsteps and they stopped at your door. “that’s quite enough.” you all snapped your head to see the trio from octavinelle. “we heard the whole thing. (y/n)-san.” jade entered the room followed by floyd and azul. “they really want me to beat them up huh?!” azul placed a vial beside you. “this will help with the bruises.” he cleared his throat. “as for getting in trouble with your dorm leaders...that won’t be any problem.” all the first years (including you) stopped. “huh?”

“(Y/N)!!!!!!!” you heard a thundering set of footsteps running towards you and eventually engulfing you in a hug. “oi kalim! be careful if you hurt them!” jamil screamed as he ran after him. “huh? kalim-senpai? jamil-senpai? what are you doing here?” kalim proceeded to hug you tighter. “i’m so glad you’re okay! i don’t want anyone else touching you or making fun of you!” kalim cried, tears starting to stain the floor. “azul held a video conference in the dorm leader chat in magicam, recording what you first years were saying. we were all worried so we came here to see you.” jamil commented while trying to peel kalim off of you. from behind him you were able to see the other dorms gathering in the front of your door and they started to pile in. first was riddle, cater, and trey who seemed to have a first aid kit in hand. next was ruggie and leona, who both looked pretty pissed off and looked like they were ready to kill someone. then it was vil and rook, who was dragging idia along with the help of ortho. finally it was silver, and malleus, as for lilia, he managed to already be dangling off the high ceiling of your room.

“...why are you all here?” you whispered softly. “some people are so fucking stupid. dumbasses really gotta fucking judge you for being ‘different’.” leona growled. “ya see (y/n), leona couldn’t stop punching the wall when azul recorded what you and the others were talking about. now there’s a hole in his bedroom wall.” the corner of your mouth curved up a bit. “did you really..?” he rolled his eyes. “yes dummy because i’m worried about you! we all are.” leona grumbled. “we don’t want to see our precious (y/n) hurt!” cater added to leona’s statement. “besides, it’s stupid for people to do this to you in the first place.” trey crossed his arms as riddle nodded with his statement. “they’re already at a prestigious school to become stronger in magic, but apparently they fail to realize that they are not smart enough to realize that judging people by their appearance or where they are from is wrong.” riddle added.

“(y/n)-san! you’re beautiful just the way you are!” ortho chirped. “y...you shouldn’t let anyone tell you otherwise....they’re just a bunch of dumbfucks anyways.” a lot of those around you were quite shocked when they heard idia say this, judging from their widened eyes and mouth parted wide open. “therefore we ought to be teaching them all a lesson. they do not understand the basic aspects of beauty, and thus they have no right to judge you.” vil stepped closer to you and placed his hand on your shoulder. “oui! we’ll make sure their pain is much worse than what you have experienced altogether...” rook commented.

“you guys...thank you. but there should be no revenge or any payback. i think...it’s just a matter of self defense i guess.” you shrugged. “but fighting together is better than alone (y/n).” you looked up to see silver stand in front of you with furrowed brows. “that’s true, (y/n)-san. we’re stronger as one instead of only being one person. even if it’s self defense. the first years actually had many words of wisdom, and i hope you’ll listen to what they said.” lilia hopped down from the ceiling and stood beside silver. you stood from your seat and glanced at everyone around you. all those faces plastered with smiles on their faces to make you feel better, worry and pain on some, and also pure anger on some as well. “(y/n)...” malleus brought you closer to him and engulfed you in a hug. “huh..?”

“ALRIGHT! EVERYONE GROUP HUG!” grim screamed as he clung onto your leg and the other boys (although some hesitantly) started to crowd around you and hugged you. even your hawk was perched on your shoulder and snuggled against your cheek. this warmth. a big smile formed on your face as tears of joy started to flow. “thank you...all of you. thank you...!” you started to sob, making some of the boys sigh but smile right after. “we’ll always be here (y/n).” it was another few moments of the utmost joy you’ve felt in a long time. then...it started. “oi you’re stepping on my tail.” leona growled at ruggie. “shishishi, i know.” ruggie shot back. “rook get your dirty, nasty hands off of me. why don’t you go hug epel instead?” vil dusted off his uniform. “EW! NO!” epel shouted in disgust and started to run because he was starting to be chased by rook. “hah, who knew you were so cheesy?” ace started to make fun of deuce and of course the two ended up fighting. basically the room started to become chaotic. back to normal. just like how it usually is. in the midst of all the chaos you laughed. “thank you all...i love you all.” you hope no one heard you in all the chaos and fighting. but they all did. “and we love you too.” they didn’t say it out loud. but they knew that actions would be able to speak louder than words.

you would like to think that the bullying had stopped. but sadly it didn’t. in life, not everyone’s minds can be changed and they can’t realize the damage that they’d done. however now you always had someone by your side. even if it’s just one or two, the boys would be there next to you. you still had your habit of picking fights with those who spoke wrongly about you, but this time the boys talked you into not doing it or just being safe. but those boys who can’t resist a fight, fought alongside you. like they all had mentioned...

it’s better fighting together than alone, for we are stronger together than alone.
