AHHH my first request!! tysm for asking i would love to make this! i also got curious and only found like three nagi x male readers (two of which were smuts that i was too uncomfortable to read☠️) but don't worry im here to save the day. this also ended up being a lot longer than expected but still really hope you enjoy!! ^^

you were one of the few people who didn’t look at nagi like he was some anomaly. while others in your school would steer clear and gossip about him behind his back, you were one of the only people who spoke to him and treated him like an actual person and not some freak of nature

you would try to talk to him in class but he wouldn’t talk back (since “talking is such a pain”) so you assumed you were bothering him and eventually stopped.

nagi eventually noticed you wouldn’t talk to him in class anymore and it didn’t bother him at first. but eventually he finds himself missing it and would make the rare effort of trying to initiate conversations with you.

that led to you guys talking every day during class. the more you two spoke, the more you realized how much you had in common with him. you soon asked him if he wanted to come over to hang out.

he usually rejects any hang-out offers from literally anyone. though when you asked him if he wanted to come over to your place to play video games together, he accepted because he found you to be less of a hassle to be around compared to others.

when he came over, he realized he actually really enjoys being around you and had fun spending his time playing games with you. he even took a look around your room to admire all the things you’ve collected that represent your personality and interests. this only made him more captivated by you and wanted to be much closer friends

now for the exciting part

once some time has passed and you two got closer, you soon find out he’s a shamelessly clingy person both emotionally and physically.

whenever he would see you, he randomly wraps his arms around you and latch onto you. he hates being forced to let go whenever you two have to go to class.

he gives absolutely zero fucks about being publicly affectionate with another guy in school, paying no mind to the weird stares and whispers

he constantly wants to stay over at your place and when you come over to his for the first time, he introduces you to choki (a hugeeee moment for him trust me)

nagi truly loves being with you. at first, he didn’t care about being an outcast until you showed up in his life and showed him what true friendship and love was like

soon his feelings for you as a friend develops into something much more unfamiliar before he can realize it. falling in love was definitely a new experience for nagi and falling in love with you specifically was a slow delicate process

he definitely didn’t realize for a while that he likes you in that way until he finds himself admiring you as you somehow have soft lighting all over your face and pink flowers and hearts circling your head (all in his imagination my boy is completely whipped). he then thinks, “hmm this feels like one of the shojo mangas i’ve read befo- ohhhhh!”

once the initial shock is over, he’s already bold enough to confess to you quickly after. i can imagine him suddenly telling you how he feels in the most random scenario ever.

it would be so out of nowhere. you guys could be out walking in the park. you casually sip out of your bottle when he nonchalantly says, “wanna be my boyfriend?” with his signature neutral face, making you choke and cough on your water.

he would then elaborate on how much he likes you with the plainest face ever like it was a regular tuesday conversation. the one difference is the light flush on his cheeks and you can definitely tell that he truly means all of it. so once you stopped coughing, you obviously accept his confession

if you thought he was already pretty damn clingy prior to you two becoming a couple, then be prepared for that to increase tenfold

holding hands isn’t enough for him, ideally he needs to be super glued onto you permanently for the rest of his life

you guys are definitely the couple people gag at when they see you both curled up cuddling each other in the hallway.

once again, he gives absolutely no shits. he needs to show off what an amazing boyfriend he has so he’ll never tone it down on the pda

on the very very rare occurrence that you're not with him and you happened to be talking to someone else in the hallway, he sees this and immediately gets a little possessive. so he walks up right behind you and wraps his arms around your waist, resting his head on you. you assume he's just being needy again and find it cute, completely unaware of how he's now glaring deep into that person’s soul from over your shoulder. i mean you’re his man and his man only so everyone needs to know.

he requires you to pet and run your fingers through his hair for a low minimum for uhhh 2000 times a day. you swear that he purrs every time you do it but when you try to listen out for another one, he already fell asleep on your shoulder

whenever you guys are cuddling either at his dorm or your place, he just lays his entire body weight onto you like a heated blanket while resting his head on your shoulder with your fingers carded through his hair. if you try to gently nudge him off so you can get up and use the bathroom, he audibly whines and eventually relents. he totally tries to follow you into the bathroom after that.

whenever you compliment or praise him, he looks totally unaffected but internally, he’s jumping around screaming. meanwhile, he will randomly drop the most endearing and beautiful arrangement of words at you in a completely neutral voice and just move on with his day like you didn’t just witness the most flattering thing you’ve ever heard.

loves whenever you randomly grab his chin and give him a short but very sweet kiss.

nah actually scratch that. nagi loves kisses from you anytime anywhere. fleeting cheek kisses before you both head to class. kisses on his forehead as you hold him close under the covers. drawn out victory kisses you both finally finish a difficult match together. no matter what it is, he always helplessly melts into each one.

before you appeared in nagi's life, his world was just one big dull pain he simply had to push through every day. now that he had you by his side, he finally had the motivation to get out of bed every day.

You didn’t had those kind of feelings in awhile and it took you by surprise. I mean, you're used to go to the tower, spending time with your friends and your Daddies's friends. Nothing is anormal here but the feeling is still there..

You're at the tower for only two hours and everything were good, everyone greet you so well like always and you ran upstairs to go play with your friends as soon as you could.

You played all together and you loved it, that until you started to feel left out. You tried to come back in the game they decided to play but it was one game that you didn't know well and no one wanted to explain to you how to play.

After maybe ten minutes, you heard that dinner was ready. You watch everyone walking out of the room together, laughing about the game they just played while you stay sit on the ground.

You try to hold back your tears and stand up. As you walk down the staires carefuly to not fall, you start to press your fingertips. An old habit you took when you felt like today.

You sat at the big table, in between your Daddies and look down at your fingers you keep pressing, one by one. Your Papa slides his hand down your back and looks down at you "did you had fun ?"

You shrug one shoulder and keep looking down, your Papa frowns "something's wrong ?" he asks quieter. He knows you don't like to bring attention to yourself.

Your Daddy looks down at you after hearing your Papa and immediately notices your little hands. He takes a breath and stands up, he takes you in his arms and looks at everyone "we'll be back in a bit, don't wait for us" he smiles before nodding at Steve to come with you.

Your Daddies go upstairs and sat on the couch of their office, with you on their laps "what's wrong, princess" your Papa asks. You shake your head and keep looking at your fingers with wide eyes.

"Baby-" your Papa takes one of your hand in his so you have to stop pressing your fingertips which instantly brings back the pain you felt when you weren't touching them.

You whine and before you have the chance to cause a scene, your Papa lets go of your hand. You immediately start again to press your little fingers, little tears falling from your eyes.

"hey baby" your daddy gently says "look at me please" You lift your head toward him and he kisses your little nose "don't think about the bad things that are on your mind. Think about good things, things that you love" he takes your hands in his making you whine again.

"think about us" he kisses your first fingertip "think about your favorite cartoon" he kisses your second "and your favorite story"

Your Papa grabs your other hand and start to do the same "you're with us now. All worries are behind you, the worries you felt can't enter the room we're in right now. You're around good memories, nothing else" he says between the kisses.

You sniff and melt in their arms, against their chests. "do you want to tell us what happened ?" Your Papa asks, caressing your fingers, one by one with his index.

You look down at your hands and your Daddies playing with them to change your mind from the pain "wanted to play but they didn want to" you mumble, biting the inside of your lips to prevent more tears.

"they didn't want you to play with them ?" your Daddy frowns "well too bad for them. You know how much better you make the games when you're in it so they lost a big moment of fun" your Papa says

"don't be sad because they let you out. We know how much you hate that but please don't let it get to you. You don't need others to make you happy, if they don't want you in their games then too bad for them" You Papa adds

"But-t what if you don want me anymo too" you sniff, a little cry getting out of your throat at the idea.

"Baby we'll never, never don't want you anymore. We can't imagine our life without you. When we're away for work and you're not with us for a few days we feel like our world isn't working. You're the battery we need to wake up and we'll always, always want you in our games" Your Daddy says, his hands on your cheeks and his eyes in your bright one.

You give him a tiny smile and nod your head. You let your head fall on his chest and sniff again "it hurts but we'll make you feel better" his hand slide on your thigh as you melt further into him while your Papa keeps playing with your fingertips.

"do you want to stay here a little longer or do you want to go eat downstairs ?" your Papa asks, bringing your fingertips to his lips.

You watch him kissing each one of your tips and then massaging them "wanna stay here" you whisper. You Daddy rests his cheek on top of your head.

Your Papa decides to get comfortable and grabs your ankles and rests your feet on his laps "we'll stay here as long as you need to" he says and run his fingertips on your ankles, careful to not tickle you.

You close your eyes and take a deep breath, your muscles and your mind relaxing under the sweet touch of your Daddies.

Dieter Bravo/husband x female reader/wife

Summary: You're leaving for another work trip and Dieter is sad once again. This time, he decides to show you how much he cares in full Bravo style.

Warnings: Dieter is the softest boi 😭, side-eyeing a suitcase, illusions to smut?, kisses, doodles, just all the fluff, bad jokes

Notes: So this is a follow up to The Day before was always difficult. @angelofsmalldeath-codeine and @mysterious-moonstruck-musings are always asking more for more soft Dieter. So naturally, I took it as a request even though they didn't really ask? FYI Dieter is a koala 🐨 in this one, but he'll always be our lovable messy trash panda. 🦝 I think I used all the colors Hemmy. 😆

Main Masterlist / Dieter Bravo Masterlist

Dieter used to love suitcases. It meant he was on the move to a new job or some new fun, sometimes both. Now he was more ambivalent about them. Coming home and seeing the hard shell gray suitcase meant that tomorrow morning you’d be gone again for a time.

It’s not like he didn’t know it in advance, you’d always let him know ahead of time. Especially if he was going to be at home alone. It didn’t make it hurt any less. Some might say that he should get over it, just relax and wait for your return, but Dieter isn’t that type of man. The tea kettle screeches with steam and he knows where you are: the kitchen. Instead of alerting you to his presence, he waits until you’ve poured your tea and is covering it to let it steep.

His chest gently presses against your back before his arms ensnare you just under your breasts, propping them up as you’ve showered and in your black cotton nightgown. You’ve decided on an early evening for yourself but Bravo has other plans as his lips to the nape of your neck tell you. A chuckle leaves your chest while you fix the rest of your tea, not intent on giving him a quarter into the game he’s trying to play.

But the two of you sit on the couch. Chatting about current events, he hasn’t made any more moves. Just watching you, listening to you, with an enamored grin. Another chuckle from you for how cute he looks, he’ll do this from time to time when you’re going to leave town again. Like he’s trying to paint a picture of you in his mind. You always remind him that he’s your reason to come home. Dieter always tells you he’s grateful for that.

After tea, it’s bedtime and there are kisses goodnight. He wraps his arm around your waist. You kiss his neck and begin the nightly activities. Apparently Dieter’s learned to just give you a nibble and you’ll do the rest. In the glow of the short hours of the dark, you pinch his cheek, figuring out his game before dozing off on his chest. Sticking to him, not wanting to let go.

Dieter steals out of the bed when you’re asleep and uses a notebook he keeps in his nightstand. He sketches your various expressions you made while on the couch and then how you look in bed right now, sheets half-covering you, your glory exposed for him to see. He has to capture it now else he could miss his moment.

Another idea pops into his head so he grabs his phone and steps out into the living room to record it for you. He plans to send it tomorrow morning while you’re at the airport so you can listen to it on the plane.

A handwritten note slid into your suitcase is for when you unpack. Carefully he slides back into bed, his thumb running down your back with a kiss to your shoulder.

The sun has barely broken the horizon when the alarm sounds, groans fill the room as you both stir. Washing up and getting dressed is your focus so Dieter makes a light breakfast for you with coffee. His eyes cut to your suitcase before he picks it up to carry it to the car his ordered for you, thankfully he was able to zip it back properly.

A text from Dieter says to listen to the message on the plane and to download it just in case. Your headphones are in after greeting your coworkers and the plane is at cruising altitude.

“Hey pretty lady, you know I never want you to leave. I know it’s selfish but I know I always feel better and do better when you’re here. You’re my person you know? Plus who else is going to tell me that many patterns don’t go together, everyone always tells me yes.

Anyway, have a safe flight and kick those old dudes asses. I hope your project goes well. I know you were trying to explain it to be but once you got into Access and databases I was gone. I’m so sorry. I’m gonna try googling it later. You can’t wear that navy blue dress because they’ll think they have a chance and you’re already with an Oscar Winner. They’re too late and I love you Ms. Smarty Pants. Hmm… You should wear pants. Bye.”

The two people sitting next to you thought that you needed some oxygen based on how hard you were wheezing trying to hold in your laughter. You told them that you were fine and it was just a message from your sweet husband, he has quite a way with words.

Thankfully when you landed, everyone was given time to rest in their rooms before the initial group dinner. Opening your suitcase, a piece of notebook paper fell out and you picked it up off the floor. Sitting on the bed you read it, shaking your head.

Sometimes I really do wonder why you’re with me at all, why you come home to me. Hell, why you call me home. I can be a complete and utter mess, irresponsible at times and I’m sure annoying. My one redeeming quality I thought was in creating art through film, painting and drawings. You helped me see that I’m more than that though. So much more. I can be faithful, I can be loyal, I can put someone above myself and I can do all these things without needing an escape.

I often wonder what would have happened if you hadn’t run over my foot with your suitcase and I didn’t sucker you into having lunch with me. You look as beautiful then as you do now, actually more so because we enjoy nighttime KitKats a few times a week. We dance it off part way so it’s fine.

I love you my brave, clever, gracious muse.

P.S. - You should frame this FYI

Falling back on the bed, you question when Dieter would have slipped this into your suitcase let alone written it. It’s completely in character for him and at the same time, seems so unusual. Trying to hold your tears back only makes them fall harder, you’ll need to re-do your makeup for the dinner but it doesn’t matter to you if you’re late. Dieter will never fail to make himself memorable.

Life as Dieter Bravo’s wife is always full of the unexpected and something to hold onto.

Comments on Netflix's Avatar The Last Airbender

*spoiler alert*

First of all I'm gonna start by saying it is one of the best adaptations I've seen so far. And that's the key word, adaptation. I've seen a lot of fans and others complain about some things that honestly, doesn't make sense because some things only work in a cartoon(just as much as some things only work in a book or a video game)

And before I start to talk about some topics that I judge important, I also wanna say that the production is fantastic, from the costumes to the CGI. It all looks amazing. (A part from Yue's wig)

1. The Script

It's not easy to pick 20+ episodes and make it fit in only 8 but damn they did a hell of a good job, especially when judging what was important to show and what they could let it go. Some fans commented that since there's no fillers, the Gaang and others miss some development but I think that for the universe of the live action what we got here it worked.

I can express how much I like to see Ozai and Azula's relationship and how it is now clear that he uses the siblings against each other, manipulating them to get what he wants. But I will admit I miss the fear Azula had, since it's implied in the show and some extras that she does fear Ozai, and fears becoming like Zuko.

I hope the 41. Is just fine after the battle in the north. See all of them bowing to Zuko after discovering that Zuko was the one that saved their asses and was heavily punished by that...it was beautiful. I loved the writers did that, give names and faces to Zuko's crew and a beautiful yet sad arc when Ozai banished his son and the men who he saved.

I also loved that they put weight into things that was treated as a joke, like Katara talking about her mother. She was a little kid who saw her mom get murdered in front of her and the live action made sure to let us know that it is not okay to make jokes about something so traumatic. All of the deaths here have tons of weight in it, it's not some random person, is someone we met, someone we liked, someone who helped. The costs of the war, something the cartoon manages to show us but know in live action, with real people, the massage gets stronger.

And they didn't forget Iroh's past like the fandom does, which is great. That actor, the earthbending soldier really let it all out, that's how you use the few screentime you have.

Sokka's isn't sexist and y'all were making a storm outta a cup of water, is not like Sokka sexist didn't go away after like the 4 or 5 episode in the original show. I think the live action was able to bring more depth to him in comparison to the first season of the cartoon. We see how he feels about his father's, the absence of him and his duty as warrior who kinda doesn't want to be a warrior.

I need a Gyatso in my life, I didn't know I needed to see more of him until the live action gave us more of him. Kyoshi was the Thor coming to Wakanda from this season, WHY THE FUCK BRYKE DONT WANNA GIVE US A KYOSHI SERIES? She is absolutely a jewel of a character. Roku and Kuruk, damn poor Kuruk man, so much pain in his words but again that's what it means to be the Avatar, it's not fun and games. Zhao saying to Aang what Korra villains said to Korra😭 that the world doesn't need the Avatar anymore, it hurt.

Guys I'm gonna say it, there's no way in hell for anyone to ship Kataang here. I'm saying this because some shippers complain that the secret tunnel part was different but c'mon, look at Kiawentiio and look at Gordon, it would be so s awkward and weird and just wrong. I know they don't have a big age difference, is only like 3 years but when they filmed Gordon looked so much younger than her, maybe in the next seasons the difference won't be that big.

The pace is good, once you start you don't wanna stop.

2. The Acting

Everyone is really good at capturing the essence of it's characters and somewhat making them their own. The highlights for me were Dallas and Ian, Its like they came straight from the show. Ken Leung's Zhao was also amazing as he was way more threatening here than he was in the show.

Kiawentiio was the Katara we were looking for, she is kind yet strong, brave and caring. And Gordon was Aang, sure, he has to learn a few things since he slipped a few times in his acting but nothing that could ruin the experience, that kid is good and just needs some experience.

Elizabeth Yu was Azula. It was different but yet the same character, is like learning something new of her and I like how cleared she show emotions with her eyes. Maria Zhang had great chemistry with Ian and I can't wait to see more of Suki. Arden Cho and Yvonne Chapman as June and Avatar Kyoshi look like they came out straight from the cartoon. Daniel Dae Kim...man is Ozai, so cold, so sharp, so scary, already way better than the cartoon version. I wanna see more of Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as Iroh since the character he really starts to shine in book 2.

3. The live action doesn't have the spirit of the OG?

Yes, it does have. The thing is now that we are seeing real people, things get dark one way or another but I don't think it ruined the spirit of the show. Aang is still a kid, Sokka still making sarcastic jokes, Zuko still annoying as hell, Katara still hopeful and strong... There's everything there really.

The thing is stuff like genocide, murder, war, death and suffering are, for some people, better to watch as pixels in a cartoon than real people.

I think it's a great adaptation and I would recommend it to every fan.

⚓️ Rarely ever regresses. Avoids it at all costs if he can but it always comes back cause bottling things up makes it worse! (he does not learn)

⚓️ Due to all the stress and pressure of being the main Vee in charge as well as having a literal monopoly over the TV industry he tends to regress really really tiny like he’s just a lil guy, if he were to guess he’d say he age regresses from 4-8 years old but it’s more likely 2-6 (tell him he’s a big boy regardless it makes him happy)

⚓️ When Vox is out of his shell and with somebody he’s comfortable with (Velvette probably), he is a rambler, a yapper even.

⚓️ He can barely talk however 😭 just babbling and stuttering and tripping over his words - he had so many speech impediments as a kid and that just comes right back to hit him in the face

⚓️ He does not care however and believes he is perfectly understandable!

⚓️ Sharks on the mind, drawing sail boats, knows a ton about marine life - idk if anybody else gets this vibe from him but I feel like his hometown would’ve been a small coastal village near a big city

⚓️ Favorite candy HAS to be those shark shaped gummies

⚓️ Has a lil sailor hat he likes to wear instead of his top hat :>

⚓️ Makes little hums, buzzes, and trills sounds similar to a TV or computer as a way to stim

⚓️ Doesn’t really understand know how to ask for something he struggles with communicating… so he bites! Hungry? Bite. Thirsty? Biting. Wanting attention? Your fingers are gone!

⚓️ Will also just… stare. His big ol eyes are constantly staring at his caregiver (similar to the random little kid who stares at you at a restaurant like you own them money) mostly does this cause he’s curious but also cause he just loves his caregiver C:

⚓️ Will shock himself for fun (it doesn’t harm him 80% of the time and he thinks it’s funny)

(Do not let him go near any outlets he’s gonna cause a power outage on purpose)

⚓️ Very very tantrum prone. Cries when he’s angry and when he’s sad and it doesn’t take a lot to push him over the edge. Will not understand why his favorite stuffed animal has to be taken away to be cleaned it’s the most excruciating 10 minutes of his life

⚓️ But sometimes he’ll just have bursts of pent up rage coming out randomly (from bottling it up) where he’s just screaming and crying and also doesn’t understand why :< feels really ashamed about it later so he needs constant reassurance that it’s okay to feel angry

⚓️ Being so fr we all know Vox is a lil pathetic so when he regresses that translates to a ball of nerves. He is sensitive and if left alone with his thoughts for too long he’s gonna start bawling. However he also cries when being told something like “I’m so proud of you!” “I love you” “Good boy!” He starts crying bc he’s not used to genuine affection, like he’s happy but malfunctioning at the same time

⚓️ Ironically, Vox doesn’t like using (modern) technology too much when regressed. He is easily overstimulated by flashing screens and loud sounds to the point where he has to turn his own brightness settings lower 😭

⚓️ occasionally he’ll play a video game but not really cause he’s either messing around on MS paint or playing snake on a Nokia phone (he likes chewing on Nokias)

⚓️ Vox is honestly a huge hypocrite lol, he’s all for modernization but he keeps a 1950s model TV in all its black-and-white glory specifically for when he age regressed cause of nostalgia.

⚓️ He has old VHS tapes of a show called “Lassie” that was really popular in the 50s (For anybody curious it was a live-action show about a Border Collie named Lassie who’d go on various adventures and save people from danger its a rlly wholesome show <3) Vox also loves Huckleberry Hound! Yet another example of blue cartoon dogs being loved no matter what generation they’re in!

⚓️ Loves being read to, easiest way to soothe Vox is by telling him a story - he’ll remember every single detail and repeat it to his caregiver later with much enthusiasm

⚓️ The original Charlie Brown comic strips are also one of Vox’s favorites, he likes how warm the art style feels and of course - who doesn’t love Snoopy!

(Vox might just be a dog and shark person idk)

⚓️ Vox loves eating Legos! They’re very crunchy colorful! :3

⚓️ Always needs teethers/pacifiers for reasons stated above

⚓️ When Vox gets tiny he’ll try to handle it himself for as long as he can but if he can’t he’ll begrudgingly go to Velvette. Or she’ll go to him Vox is ridiculously stubborn

⚓️ She regresses way more often than Vox does and Vox is always insisting to care for her. So when she sees him regressed it’s always a treat! Girl is gonna be doting on him the same way he dotes on her

Gender is gendering he lowkey has some internalized issues with gender expression (pls bare with him 😭) but when he’s little (and with Velvette encouraging him ofc) he likes wearing those long flowy night gowns c: they’re just more comfortable than pants or shorts to him! Not that he doesn’t love wearing suits and bow ties - he is a distinguished gentleman even when little

⚓️ Vox is not a girly girl but he does love playing dress up or having tea parties… he will get shy and feel ashamed about liking those things cause “he’s supposed to like boy things” that kind of mindset gets shut down quickly by Velvette once she gives him the reassurances he needs (GENDER AFFIRMATION BEAM GO!!)

⚓️ Velvette has given him so many nicknames. Of course love, darling, and sweetheart being commonly used. But also nicknames like little prince or little inventor. The one that Velvette uses most often and makes Vox the most giddy is probably pup. Cause pup is what baby sharks are called! He is just a silly baby shark <3

First Valentine

So...I kind of felt bad for my last story being extremely sad. This is mostly fluff there's like one second of angst but i promise it's a happy story😭

ps: i wrote this way too fast pls lmk any mistakes

You met Donna by deciding to pick flowers for your catalog and consequently getting lost. The dollmaker noticed your good intentions so made a flower path back into the village. She thought that would be the end of it, but you kept coming back, going further each day, knowing a path would eventually show so you could find your way home.

It was a fun game for you, however things were different for Donna. She was beyond stressed not only over why you kept coming back but also how dangerous the path was, especially if you left only at night.

One day, you wandered too far, completely ignoring the flower path. You reached her house near nightfall, leaving your catalog by her doorstep and sprinting back home to not arrive too late.

Safe to say Donna was worried you wouldn't show up the next day due to getting eaten by a lycan. She appreciated the catalog but did not understand why it was drawn since you took the flowers home everyday.

You did go the next day, this time with a cart because you simply could not carry a box the entire way to her house.

Angie was ready to scare you off once you arrived, but to the Lady of the house surprise, you didn't even flinch. Instead you spent the day talking to Angie about your catalog and showing the box full of vases with each flower you picked. You felt like you should give it back, since they belonged to Lady Beneviento.

Donna never went too far away from her Manor, afraid of running into someone even though it was her territory. But she opened an exception for you. The catalog was too much for her, she spiraled the entire day, and then you not only saved the flowers but was also so nice to Angie. She wanted, needed, you gone.

She stopped you a few steps into her dominion, shaking her head and pointing for the way back into the village.

You stared at her wide eyed, momentarily frozen. Once you regained your senses you nodded and went back home thinking that maybe it was just a bad day.

You went back the other day, and she sent you away, so you went back again and she sent you away again. It was like that for a whole month until she gave up and allowed you in. It took another month for her to stay in the same room as you.

Your first date came as a surprise to both of you. Apparently Angie had enough of you dancing around each other and locked you in a closet with a cereal box and a note saying "kiss".

Donna was frozen on spot while you were blushing furiously.

After an hour of knocking and begging Angie to let you out, you decided to open the cereal and accept your fate.

You were quick to offer to the silent woman in the room who accepted and sat beside you.

Donna was the first to break the silence. "I'm sorry about her. She's impulsive sometimes."

You chuckled and nodded. "Once she almost cut off my finger because she said i was taking too long to cut a carrot."

The dollmaker laughed and gave you a mischievous smile. "It was too long, you were there for ten minutes."

You faked an expression of betrayal and gasped. "Even you?! In my defense, there was something wrong with the knife."

"There wasn't, I had just sharpened it."

You pouted in response. "If I could, I'd walk out of here in outrage."

She giggled and lightly pushed your shoulder. "I'll stop then."

You rolled your eyes and looked back at the note. "How would she know if we kissed?"

Before Donna could even answer, you heard Angie yelling from the other side of the door. "I'm all knowing!"

Donna slightly jumped. "I raised a psychopath."

You looked at her with a solemnly. "Yes. Yes, you did."

The dollmaker threw a handfull of cereal at you right after. "I'm sorry again, she hates it when I keep a secret."

You shrugged. "Don't worry about it, I like spending time with you."

Donna blushed furiously, picking on her sleeve to slow her heart beat. "I like spending time with you too."

You nodded in understanding. "And...what if I said I liked you?"

"I'd say I like you too."

You were both smiling at each other when Angie made herself known again. "Cute but I haven't seen a kiss yet!"

You rolled your eyes. "I'm not letting her play with knives for the next decades." You said, looking over at Donna who was strangely serious. "You okay?" You asked, holding her hand.

The dollmaker nodded and stared down at your joined hands. "Can I do something impulsive?"

"Knock yourself out."

And that was your first kiss. Well...on the cheek.

Now, a year later, you were rushing around the village trying to find the perfect Valentine gift for Donna. You were both new relationship wise, at first you thought of a handmade gift but one call to Alcina and you were convinced you had to buy something expensive. Hence you head first into a tree waiting for the Duke to be over with his daily sales so he could help you.

It was almost nightfall when you returned to the Manor defeated. You didn't want to disappoint Donna, you knew how much she was secretly hoping for a gift, that was her love language after all.

𓍊𓋼𓍊𓋼𓍊

You were standing in the kitchen one hour before sunrise, you had tried countless recipes going from full meals to simple desserts, none of them seemed worth showing to Donna, how could you give a badly cooked pasta to an italian, practically a death wish.

The dollmaker was worried, she noticed you arriving late from town and leaving the bed early in the night.

She couldn't help but second guess your entire relationship, Valentine’s day was coming and you were only together for a year, this would be the first. What if you realized you didn't like her anymore? What if you're bored of her routine?

Donna wanted to go after you or at least spy through her dolls, but she was too scared of a heartbreak. So she stayed in bed, silently crying.

You went back to bed after cleaning the kitchen, leaving no evidence of your probable criminal offense to her nation. You were confused by Donna still in bed but too tired to give much thought, choosing to bury your head in the pillow.

You were almost sleeping when you heard Donna speak.

“Are you gonna leave me?”

You quickly lifted your body and turned your head towards her hidden form. “What?”

The dollmaker pulled the covers more against her face. “It’s okay, just say it and leave…please.”

You had never felt more awake than now. Your mouth was left open, stuttering a few words before properly speaking. “Donna, I-no, I-I wouldn't leave. Do you want me to leave?”

You could see her shaking her head and pulling her body even closer to herself.

You sat down next to her and gently touched her shoulder. “Okay. Can you tell me what happened?”

Donna shrugged and tried to stop from sobbing. “You spent the whole day and night out, right before Valentine’s day. I just…I know that being with me isn’t exciting or fun.”

You took a deep breath, regretting not being honest with her. "I was with the Duke, trying to find a gift for you. It was pointless so I tried to cook all night and well…nothing was very edible. I’m sorry, I got too caught up in making this perfect that I didn't pay attention to you.” You said, pouting softly and resting your chin on her shoulder. “I’m really sorry. Will you forgive me?”

Donna slowly removed the cover, wiping her tears. “I’m sorry too.”

You gave her a comprehensive smile. “It’s okay. I still don't have a gift though.”

She chuckled. “We can make something together.”

You nodded. “That sounds perfect. Just not in the kitchen, I threw a lot of products there to hide the smell.”

She looked at you wide eyed trying to fight a smile. “What on earth did you do?”

You laughed and shook your head. “Trust me, you don't wanna know.”

OK SO IM LATE BUT. MORE SUB3 NEWS!!!

so a few days ago, krafton (their publisher), apparently had this like presentation of their plans over the next like 2 years. and during that they talked a bit about sub 3!

and this obviously creates a LOT of questions. not to worry, though, because unknown worlds added on to this:

im honestly not surprised by this. iirc, when below zero released they said it would be a WHILE before the next game, and they only announced this back in like... january? now, the first game's release was in january, and bz was in may, so it's definitely possible early access with be in spring of 2025. those games did not have multiplayer aspections tho! its possible we'll wait until mid 2025, and full release will likely not be until 2026. but who knows? the first game took like ten to be fully finished!!

and honestly. THANK GOD. i can't imagine any subnautica game having BATTLE PASSES or LOOT BOXES. i would have just straight up ignored this game 😭

i do wonder what these updates will entail! "many years to come" is definitely something interesting to me, because other than bug fixes... i dont remember sub or bz getting many updates post full release. is this referring to bug fixes, or is it implying that it will be in a state of early access for much longer? are they going to just keep adding new things (like the building update for sub1) and taking fandom suggestions? very interested!!

maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but i actually,,,, dont want multiplayer. now i do like bz, and these games arent really intended to be horror games, but also bz is very noticeablely less scary than sub1. and some of it i think definitely has to do with all the extra characters and dialogue. its hard to feel isolated when you know al-an and marg are nearby. so im very happy that it's optional, bc i know i will probably enjoy single player a lot more enjoyable!!

so now... SPECULATION.

so the first thing im curious about that the development team didnt mention:

"uncover the mysteries on an entirely new alien planet"

apprently we are NOT returning to 4546b. which im kind of sad about!! ik the story is very obviously done there, but it feels weird that its going to be some other planet this time around. THERE WONT BE PEEPERS!!!! (well there could be but it would be weird if some other random planet had the exact same lifeforms)

now my next immediate thought is: is this a direct continuation of below zero? my opinion is: no. probably not.

mostly because it mentions up to four players, and robin and alan are, if you look very closely, only two people. now they COULD just create two new characters to go alongside them (my fanfic brain loves the au idea of marg and ryley 🥺) but im just going to assume that with the addition of a new planet, we're going to drop the old storylines. which means no more degasi, sunbeam, aurora, or ayou sisters. we might move away from architects/precursors altogether! (my basis on this is absolutely nothing and i could be wrong, this is 100% just theorizing)

also, i imagine that it would be difficult to keep the plot the exact same with two established characters and then two new ones, depending on how this multiplayer aspect works. if its another crash, it would be a lot easier to just have the extra players die/survive, then try to work in a balancing act of one guy playing al-an.

(also i like keeping the ending of bz vauge. if they show up again, they would have to mention what happened to the rest of the architects, and i think it's much more fun if thats a mystery!)

((also also, im gonna drop a bomb on u all for a second. i actually,,, dont like al-an. i have a deeper connection to probably every single other character in bz. i think they really fumbled al's character and story and he is so incredibly bland to me. it feels like they go nowhere with how he was responsible for the kharra outbreak because the game ends immediately after he confesses! it would be nice to give him another chance, sure, but i personally dread the idea of even more al-an. sorry everyone for this horrible news))

i hope they bring back some cut content creatures for this!! i noticed this new area looks VERY similar to the safe shallows, and several of the fish seem to be variations of ones we've already seen (im already seeing bladderfish and hoopfish color pallettes, and the shark resmbles some early concept art for the shadow leviathan, but with the ice worm's colors...)

will there be more land areas?? is it going to entirely underwater?? more kharra?? NO DISEASE AT ALL?? AAAAAA!!!!

First Date: Of course San wants to spend time with you and all he can dream about is an adorable first date, but maybe just maybe there’s an agenda in it for him when he invites you to an animal café. After all, anyone he’s going to be in a relationship with has to be a good pet parent! Plus the sun is filtering in through the windows, all the cute fluffy babies are just begging to be pet, and your smile lighting up is one of the most precious things San’s ever seen.

First Time Holding Hands: You’re on a date at the carnival, lights dancing around you. San is looking at it all with wonder, but it seems you have other plans to get out of it all. “Let’s go in the haunted house!” You exclaim. “Why?” San whines. “Can’t we stay out here?” He isn’t the biggest fan of scary stuff, which you know, but maybe you’ve got something up your sleeve. “I’ll hold your hand,” you purr leaning closer and intertwining your fingers with his, “keep you nice and safe.” A smirk creeps onto your lips at the way San blushes. “Alright, if you really want to we can go,” he sighs, cheeks reddening as you pull him toward the dark doorway.

First Kiss: It happens the same day you first take his hand, this time back out in the safety of open, fried-treat-and-mist-scented funfair air. Moving on with a pouty San from the haunted house, you swear to spoil him rotten with games and fun to his heart’s content as a thank you. He wants to impress you, though, so soon San is taking the helm of a little water shooting stall, dropping a few bills to try his hand at dropping down

First ‘I Love You’: You provide warmth at San’s side as you two wend down the beach, your arm tucked tightly in his. Beneath the crashing water is your voice telling him everything you love about the sea: how powerful it feels to you, how close to the very forces of nature themselves you feel. He watches your expression, the awe and wonder upon your face, and all San can think of is how you're describing the way how his heart feels in the presence of yours. No way can he keep this to himself. “You're far more magnificent than the sea could ever hope to be, and my heart feels just as drawn to the waves of yours.” You giggle at that, beautiful eyes peering shyly ay him as you ask if that’s a quote from a book. “Just me,” he shakes his head, “why? Too much?” It isn’t. You love his words, beam at the way he tells you love makes him do crazy things. “Like this,” he breathes, pulled in by your gravity until your lips meet. “I really do love you,” he tells you when you pull away. “And I you,” you reply, beaming still as your foreheads lay met.

First Fight: It isn’t even the situation, it’s what you say. “Geez, can you please stop sulking?” San’s been sitting there hardly moving with a sad expression on his face, and while you always feel for him this time it isn’t helping you move forward from things. Your outburst has the opposite effect, however, and his head leans back suddenly as he looks for all the world like a kicked puppy. “I- I’m sorry. I didn’t think you of all people would be like this, though,” he adds at the end, voice barely above a whisper. “Be like what, a jerk? I just think we should try to make the best of things is all, and-” “That doesn’t change how I feel!” San shoots back. “Sorry I’m not a better actor.” Something about those words shake you, snap you out of the buzz of annoyance surrounding you. Uncrossing your arms, you sigh. “No, no. I’m not trying to invalidate you or anything, I just…I’m disappointed too. Seeing you upset just made it that much worse and I couldn’t take it. I shouldn’t have snapped.” “It’s ok. I shouldn’t act like it’s the end of the world, I’m just-” “Shhh, shh, there’s nothing wrong with being emotional. Let’s just enjoy next time, ok?”

First Anniversary: San is such a romantic he FOR SURE treats you even on your hundred days! He’s at your door with a teddy bear holding a bouquet, arms open ready to take you wherever you want to go, that cute necklace you’d had your eye on, you name it he’s got it! He’s overtaken with joy at your smile, musing how happy he is to have reached this point with you.

First Pet: Beside Byeol of course 💅🏻 because his sister often has her, you get a kitten of your own for San to spend time with whenever he can! Your choice is a lovely little brown tabby you call Choco 🤎 your very own Sanrio character at home!

A/n: since y’all think this bitch tinder i guess imma have to step up my writing game, can’t get goods fics anywhere. Like where y’all go??! 😭😭

Shuri and you have been close since high school, inseparable even. It was almost concerning how close your were and it didn’t shock a soul when you two got married. Growing up you were always the quiet and observant one and her the out going adventurous one.

Your Youth

You always got looked over by everyone except one person, Shuri. She noticed you right away, it was to your first day of freshman year, you had no one to talk or hang out with so during lunch you’d walk to the library and read. The first two weeks of school she studied you confused on why you’d sit alone reading, you were beautiful and smart to her, it’d seem like you’d make friends easily.

So one day curiosity got the best of her and she followed you to your personal corner. She watched you routinely pull out the book you’ve been reading and a highlighter.

“Whatcha’ reading?” uninvited Shuri plopped her bag down beside you taking a seat. The look of shock in your face was enough to tell Shuri she scared you “my bad didn’t mean to frighten you, I’m Shuri” she held out her hand with a bright smile on her face.

You glanced down at her hand and back up at her, you thought this was a joke. One why would the princess of the royal family come sit down and chat with you and two why is she in a public village school?

“Did I do something wrong your majesty?!”

“Shh no no you are fine. I wanted to come talk to you I see you walk in here everyday but no one joins you, why is that?”

“Oh well I’m not good at making friends” you mumbled shying away, “may I ask you a question?” Her face lit up with joy.

“Yes?”

“Why are you in a public school…you’re the princess don’t you have private tutors?” She chuckled nervously scratching her undercut.

“Oh well my mother thought it would be good for me to socialize with kids my age plus there’s really nothing they can teach that I already don’t know” you nod pushing your glasses up.

“Well I’m sure you have plenty of friends you are the princess,” her smile fades as she looks away.

“N-not exactly, you see no one wants to hang out with me as they are afraid of my status and the only people who do is also because of my status…so I’m in a lose lose situation, but if you don’t want me here I understand. I did intrude, my apologies” she got up with a sad frown beginning to make her way around the corner.

You felt bad, you knew exactly how she felt. Not having anyone to talk to and constantly being alone, it was no fun. Stricken with guilt you called after her.

“Princess Shuri!” You whisper yell, she instantly turns around with a glimmer of hope in her eyes.

“Yes?”

“You can stay if you like I don’t mind” you move your book bag and wave her back over “come join me” you smile patting the floor. A grin instantly took over wiping away her frown as she ran back over to you.

“May I show you my sketchbook?” She excitedly ask pulling out a thick notebook from her backpack. “All of my recent inventions are in here, look” she excitedly flipped through the pages finally having someone to show it to.

That one pivotal moment changed your life’s forever. Having each other made high school a breeze. Even growing into adulthood you two had each other’s back, and that slowly led you you developing feelings for each other that neither of you would speak about until later.

Attending college was no different even though you two didn’t pursue the same careers you stayed close nonetheless.

College Years

“I swear this homework is kicking my ass, I’m ‘bout to cry!” you wail slamming the mechanical pencil on the table. Shuri peered up from her lab table shaking her head.

“I can do it for you if you like-“

“No Shuri if you do it I’ll never learn anything.” She just shrugged going back to fixing her brothers panther suit.

She smirked cockily looking at you “it’s up to you I’m done with mine.” You shot daggers at her chucking the pencil at her head.

“It’s not funny!” She ducked laughing, “I will help you as long as you don’t throw anything else” you rolled your eyes swallowing the sarcastic comeback you had ready “fine.”

Shuri smiled putting down her tools “all you had to do was ask for help, you’re so annoyingly independent.” She’s one to talk.

You and Shuri sat at the table for hours finishing and correcting any and every piece of work you done that night. You were becoming distracted but not because of the work, because of Shuri. You were starting to feel things for her that a best friend shouldn’t feel, you eyed her beautiful features in awe. The way her jaw clenched and unclenched when she was thinking, the way she smirk to herself whenever she figured something out, or how her eyebrows would furrow when she was confused.

She was just gorgeous.

“Did you hear me?”

“Huh?! Ohhh yeah yeah I got it“ you didn’t get it.

Shuri was going over the material once again for you until her phone rang, it was Imani her girlfriend. You rolled your eyes putting your focus back on your work trying not to hear their conversation, but you couldn’t help it. You wished Shuri would call you baby like that and spoil you with love as she did her ungrateful girlfriend. Yes ungrateful, Imani cheated on Shuri twice and Shuri still took her back.

“Can you take that somewhere else I’m trying to work” Shuri knew you didn’t like Imani but you put up with her.

The Big Fight

Having enough of Imani’s bullshit with her treating your friend like she’s nothing, you confronted Shuri. You tried to tell her she’s sneaking around again but Shuri didn’t want to hear any of it, as if she was in denial.

“Are you jealous or something? Jealous that I found love and you can’t?”

Hearing those words come out of her mouth hurt like falling into a thousand needles. Hearing someone you fell in love with say they loved someone else hurt. You blink your tears away swallowing the lump in your throat.

“If you want to stay with her fine, but I’m not gonna stick around to watch her treat you like shit, don’t come crawling back when she breaks your heart again.”

After that fight you two had you didn’t talk for weeks. Over the course of those weeks you felt this hole in your chest grow larger and larger yearning for her to fill it, but deep down you knew she never would. What you didn’t know was Shuri felt the same. Spending so much time alone with Imani made her realize she didn’t want her. She was trying to distract herself away from you.

As she watched Imani lay on her chest guilt began to fill her, she didn’t want her laying on her she wanted you laying on her, she wanted you cuddling close to her. The very next day she broke up with Imani and ran you you. She ran over to your house hoping you’d find it in your beautiful heart to forgive her. Repeatedly she knocked on your door, when you didn’t answer she kept knocking and knocking until-

“Damn Shuri what is it?!” You knew it was her?

“Y/n please forgive, I’m terribly sorry for treating you the way I have. That was no way to treat my best friend. You were right Imani was no good for me I was only using her as a place holder for you, please please please forgive me” she held onto you with tears in her eyes hoping you would hug her back and say you forgave her.

You stared into her eyes still feeling the pain the day she said those hurtful things to you. You gave her a sad smile reaching for her face to dry her eyes “my sweet Shuri you hurt me, you made me feel like my opinion didn’t matter anymore” she shook her head no “no please it does matter to me I promise, please forgive me” with your love for the princess outweighing the hurt she inflicted on you, there was no doubt in your heart you weren’t going to forgive her “I forgive you.”

Not being able to hold herself back Shuri grabs you by the waist smashing her lips on yours. This was something you dreamt about, feeling her soft lips against your sent butterflies to your stomach. You held onto her melting right into the kiss.

She pulled away with a smile “Damn I’ve always wanted to do that.”

“You have?! Why didn’t it say anything?!”

“That doesn’t matter hush” she giggled kissing you again.

The Path of Love

Dating Shuri was a dream come true she was such a doll. Everything you needed she provided and vise versa. You two were made for each other, like Yin and Yang. You two experienced everything in life together including your first time.

You two were both so eager but nervous, having a few hiccups at first but nothing too serious. It was laughed off and you continued. You both took you time with each other, kissing and caressing each other ever so softly. Nothing filled the room but sweet moans and soft music in the background. You two couldn’t stop touching and loving on each other, so absorbed with one another’s presence, it was like heaven on earth.

“Damn” you huffed pulling the blanket over your naked body, Shuri giggled doing the same.

“If I knew you could do that I would’ve done this a long time ago” you gasp smacking her shoulder “Shut up!”

Your dating life was nothing too different from your friendship accept you kissed and had sex.

You both were extremely comfortable with one another and told each others every thought you had. So when she wanted to try something new in the bedroom you never denied her, you were always down with whatever. Others were almost sickened at how sweet your relationship was, you two spoiled each other with love and always talked out your problems.

Two years flew by and Shuri was ready to marry you. She proposed in the garden she had made for you, it was unexpected but of course you said yes.

The Present

Your love for each other never dwindled even in the roughest parts of your relationship your love stayed strong. So strong you decided to expand your love to your little one, you were currently seven months pregnant with a baby that was gifted to you by Shuri’s genius’s mind and her science.

You rubbed your swollen belly with a smile as you looked through your old year book.

“Oh my god Shuri look it’s our year book photos” she peered over the couch “eww I looked so bad, why did I think that looked good!”

You smacked your lips “no you didn’t! I always thought you were so cute with your little glasses and your know it all attitude” you giggled. You flipped through some more looking at all the photos you and Shuri took together through out your four years in high school, the way you two looked at each other should’ve been a clue to the romantic feelings you felt for one another, but the what ifs and buts doesn’t matter now because in the end you got your girl.

“You know I’m glad you came and talked to me that day in the library” you said closing the book. She smiled taking a seat next to you, “I’m glad I did to.”

She left a soft kiss against your lips then moved down you you belly to leave a kiss “I love you.”

You smiled caressing her curls “I love you more.”

my feelings on jane and bonnie are nuanced just like my opinion on many of twdg characters. but i love twdg for all its messy fucked up characters :) its fun :) so while i dont hate either of them they definitely still do things that piss me off

in janes case, i think her mentorship/sisterhood with clem came more from her guilt about her sister than actually wanting to have this 11 year old around. so while she would teach clem important survival skills, she was also always quick to leave or act selfishly (clems "i thought you believed in me 🥺" always makes me sad). and this is just solidified by her actions in her S3 flashbacks. i do think she TRIES to work with the group, but she just gets in her own way and is never able to fully integrate, especially since the S2 cast is a fucked up mess in and of itself so its understandable. her actions at the end of S2 are born of pure selfishness, leaving a newborn infant in a random freezing vehicle so she could "show clem what kenny was really like" when clem is WELL AWARE of the thread this madman is hanging on to (having already faced the brunt of his frustrations MULTIPLE times at this point, and is desperate not to lose anyone else). she wanted a fight and she got one. i think maybe she told herself it was about saving clem, but honestly i dont think that was really ever her goal. again i just think a lot of her motivation comes out of the guilt of leaving her sister behind, so she saw clem as a second chance to make things right. but depending on clems actions, she can end up on her own without either of them, and jane can be the sister left behind to die. its interesting to see clem kinda pick up janes personality in the first half of S3 now that shes also at a point where she has no one and trusts no one, and is deep down lonely and longing for community. the difference is clem is not selfish (while still caring about self preservation), and actually likes being able to help people when she can. shes more so just afraid of caring for people again to protect herself from what she sees is the inevitable pain of losing them, as opposed to janes "theyre all just gonna bring you down so you should be on your own instead" outlook. but i definitely saw jane (and luke) as a bigger mentor/big sister(/brother) figure to clem than kenny was to her. jane actually taught her how to take care of herself. kenny was just someone from her past she didnt want to let go of

in bonnies case, she can be really horrible to clem if she listened to luke and stayed back instead of trying to grab him, so i'll literally try to save luke just so i dont have to hear it 😭 but also i like the convo her and clem have on the steps if you tried to save him. its an important character moment for clem, being asked what SHE wants instead of what the people around her want, and that she should start thinking about that, which is formative to the decision she makes (or fails to make) at the rest stop. the way bonnie is initially dismissive of carvers behavior i think is supposed to mirror the way clem can be dismissive of kennys behavior after leaving howes. will they come to see the man they once respected is becoming someone unstable? (i used to be in the "kenny might be going crazy but he'd never hurt clem" camp UNTIL i picked the "lee shouldnt have tried to save me 😔" option in the car and kenny threatened to smack her for it AFTER giving it a moment of hesitation so he KNEW what he was saying there. my jaw was dropped. but kenny is just another interesting flawed character in a game of interesting flawed characters (although they Heavily backtracked on the kenny/carver parallels in the S3 flashbacks. you can make the argument hes happier now but idk he cant come back from the threat for me he MEANT that)). bonnie leaving with mike is fucked but understandable, and she can show real concern after clem gets shot before getting chased off by kenny. i hope her and mike are still out there somewhere i dont hate either of them, even tho it was horrible of them to steal ALL of their supplies when they knew they were leaving TWO children behind. like cmon. but overall i liked bonnie :) shes a bit of a mess but i like her for it

in the end i am a twdg woman character forgiver :) i do love all the fucked up ladies its refreshing let them do dumb shit and make mistakes!!! i love mess :)

HI 🎬 THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THESE AHHH It did get eaten so I'm really glad you sent it again!!

It's interesting, because this movie night could take place right before T2 begins, and act as a little celebration/preparation night. But also, I like the thought of doing it after T2 closes, since they'd have their verdicts in mind while they watched the videos...

No matter when it takes place, this round of videos would definitely be more tense, but at least some of that would be lessened by the fact everyone was involved in filming. While the first movie night was a way to break the ice and have a little fun, this event feels more solemn. It's definitely used as a pick-me-up after such an ordeal -- a way to offer tons of praise and support and understanding to their fellow prisoner before/after a time where they had to pretend to hate one another.

Haruka, Mahiru, and Amane's require some serious time afterwards to talk and recover. LMAO I love the thought of Yuno's video resulting in some cheers as well as some "yes ma'am"s 😂 But I think despite her honesty, actually seeing her in those situations would cause the prisoners to understand her much deeply that before. (And I like to think she tries to bond with Amane over having multiples of themselves in the video :D) Mmm, and having a little moment between Muu and Fuuta would be so nice here. As bad as he felt seeing her be a victim in the T1 video, now he feels bad for her for a different way -- he can relate to her situation more and knows her pain.

Ahhhhh I want everyone to meet and hang out with Shidou's family so bad ;---; Although they're still not allowed to leave the facility until the experiment is over, everyone immediately starts making plans to hang out. Mahiru asks their favorite foods so she can have him over for dinner. Haruka asks if they have any similar hobbies/games so he can play with them. Amane doesn't say anything, but listens really closely to all the conversations. And yeah, by this time Jackalope would have received too much pressure to ignore the paperwork surrounding Amane any longer. While he's at it, they make him look into Haruka and his sister as well.

I wanted to make a John joke so bad you don't even know 😭😭😭I'm definitely going to sneak some teasing in post-neoplasm because I just think that's so funny and the others would never let him live it down OMG (I saw another post about it, but maybe secretly Red thinks it's fun -- despite hating the actual name John, he's excited to actually receive a nickname after Mikoto has given so many out to others)

But no matter how serious it gets, they'd be able to dance and sing along with some of the upbeat videos! The singer themselves may encourage the others to join in, since it would take some of the heaviness off of watching themself like that. It's such a bizarre situation, but they embrace it and find a little fun where they can.

I also just realized they'd get to watch Undercover!! It's the first time they get to hear Es sing and they're very impressed, and also enjoy seeing everyone together after separate filming. The visuals are pretty basic, and I think it'd be mostly teasing one another about the uniforms or looking like a sad wet cat behind bars...

Once again thank you 🎬!! These were so amazing and big brained 👏 I really appreciate you taking the time to write them out and send (twice ;-;), and I know a lot of others have enjoyed reading them as well!

What trope would you put Joongdok in?

i honestly think that when it comes to joongdok it would be much easier if i answered with the tropes i WOULDNT put them in 😭😭

oh boy here i go! let's start with two of the most obvious first:

1. matching outfits with opposite color schemes, and 2. opposites (leo & aquarius) attract (<- attract as in lowkey bordering in codependency)

yin & yang - not only are joongdok aesthetically yin&yang but narratively too (i mentioned in a previous ask that they're sky & earth too)

star-crossed - (if you believe in orv's sad ending)

life (and death) companions - is probably a trope on its own considering the meaning of the title. not only does it mean (i ran the term through a thesaurus so yall don't have to 👍🏻👍🏻) "a romantic partner with whom one is exceptionally or uniquely compatible or has a special connection" but the synonyms are also of the romantic variety ranging from (but not limited to) life partner, best friend, soulmate, spouse, true love, one's promised, significant other, love of one's life, beloved, heart's desire etc (long story short, pretty sick tbh. no wonder kr dudebros threw a fit in singshong's comment section over it. i get it) and what makes it infinitely funnier is that it started as crack being treated seriously 😭😭😭😭

anyway, continuing where i left off, Soulmates - kdj is the reason yjh exists. yjh is the reason kdj lives. (hsy wrote both of them in a way that they became each other's salvation hence their position of reader-protagonist gets switched in the epilogue and both of them have admitted that reading about the other's story has saved their lives)

everyone ships them/everyone can see it - uriel, gabriel, ljh, hsy, jhw, lsh, anna croft, persephone/hades (the third eligible candidate to marry kdj was yjh and you will never be able to convince me otherwise. also if you have an answer other than yjh ur wrong), yma (if webtoon dares not to draw the "oppa looks happy when thinking about that ahjussi" you'll see me on the news) the wenny king. heck even gong pildu, upon some consideration and by method of elimination, deduced that theres no way kdj has enough rizz to pull neither ysa nor hsy therefore who was left to be the one who helped kdj birth his "child" (kidified sp) ??? yjh obv 😭😭 and why would he question the possibilities of mpreg when hmo is right there anyway. heck hmo even told kdj that he should try it.

when one is hurt/dying/dead, the other rages, panics, is extremely distressed - (maybe there's a shorter way to say this like "who did this to you" but joongdok have ascended past cheesy romances 😝) disaster of flood arc, aftermath of dark castle, the fight with surya, 1863, aftermath of sp's kidnapping etc

hates everyone but you - sure yjh doesnt hate All constellations but he for sure hates all demon kings. (mini fun fact about me, up until joongdok rebranded my brain, i didnt like this trope)

aloof x low self-esteem = both emotionally constipated 🙄🙄

derogatory term becomes a term of endearment - fool/sunfish (bastard)

bickering like a married couple - is this a trope? well it is now

denial of attraction/closeness - just two men who most definitely never lie when it comes to their feelings

identity theft - without malicious intent (i hope!! *stares at all the atrocities kdj has committed using yjh's name*)
