I would like to preface this with a disclaimer that I do not own TMNT and I am not a writer! This is a collection of all the Raphael writings I can find, so it would be easier to binge-read for my favorite turtle. Last Updated: 17 April 2024

This is fairly simple and straightforward, but I'll add some directions just in case!

The master list is split into different iterations, genres, points of view, and then reader types. If the section gets too long (which I'm expecting they will) a new page will be created and linked on this post.

Each link will take you exactly where you want to go within this blog! This exempts the posts with a cut in them, those links will take you directly to the blog where the story is posted.

she’s a low-key perv too. she doesn’t keep it too obvious that her eyes aren’t looking at yours but instead your… “heart”. tries to act as if she’s not, literally belittles u whenever you accuse her of staring at u oddly. her expressions are misleading though. she could easily be checking you out but instead it looks like she’s judgmentally looking at u which just makes u feel worse. i guess it’s good u don’t know what she was actually doing though

pieck:

she’s more obvious. i feel she might not even care tbh. bcs she’s smooth. she’ll slip in a nice compliment about your body and it’ll be taken as a compliment or a quaint joke. though it literally wasn’t. it could be something like “i’ve just now noticed how nice your boobs look” with a neutral expression. and she’s very observant of stuff but like i said she’s actually smooth with it so you’ll never ever know how she actually acts.

sasha:

CRAZY. oh my goodness. she’s not slick with it NOT AT ALL. gosh you literally can tell too, she doesn’t try to hide the perv side.. like she’ll tell you straight up. very touchy, slaps your ass all the time, holds your breasts a lot. she DOES NOT care. obviously if you aren’t even friends she’s not gonna touch you so daringly. but she will sneak a few glances and gropes… but since she’s “silly and goofy” it’s kind of kicked under the carpet.

Like Floyd, Jade is heavily interested in you, seemingly curious to your skills and strengths, wanting to observe and see for himself how strong you could really be, and my my do you not disappoint!

( tbh he treats u like a lab experiment for awhile /hj )

While he and his brother are known to be polar opposites, theyre more alike than people give them credit for, because just like Floyd, Jade liked to stick with more interesting people, and boy have you piqued his interest greatly

While he thought you were rather dull at first, your strenght definitely intrigued him, even more so when you're just a freshman

You wouldnt see it in his face as he remained his composure because, well, he's Jade after all, but the surprised look he gives for a brief second was there and you swear left and right you saw it

Regaining his composure rather quickly, his suprised face curved into am amused smile,

"My my aren't you interesting? Perhaps you can spare some time and visit monstro lounge later? I'll be working on my shift, of course but you can always talk to me," he said, a polite smile painted on his features

"Oh, and, feel free to bring your little first yeae group with you too, fufufu~"

As the two of you got closer though, it would be less of him treating you like some sort of creature and more of him praising your skills

psyc class cadaver day afterthought

is dissecting a dead persons brain really edgy and cool and i should absolutely make a tumblr post because theres the chance to make a non offensive respectful meme about cutting her brain into breadloaf slices & maybe i could say something cool or funny so people would think im a cool and funny person

maybe if i was a different person but im not so

she wassss old.. i would like to type specifics but im not gonna disclose info that breaks confidentiality ofc

i didn’t know we were gonna do cadaver day when i signed up for biological psychology. so it came as a surprise to me that we would get the opportunity to see a cadaver, see preserved brains in jars and even use a bone saw to cut into her skull and extract her brain and cut it into pieces and hold it and touch it and ask questions and open her eyes and open her mouth and look at her from the inside. i was so surprised at how often everyone was laughing or joking during the session, i can guess mostly because we’re trying to be engaging to other classmates or like idk everybody has their own reasons obviously. not laughing at the donor ofc, because im sure everybody knew everybody was respectful of her deep down but it’s okay to make light of the situation when the brain is making squelching sounds and the doctor is talking like a car mechanic while he’s reaching for tools and talking about the areas he’s working on. i TOTALLY thought it was going to be more solemn, but the cadaver session was more like something out of every day life. asking someone nearby for a bunch of paper towels because the preservative fluid is leaking out pretty quickly and getting on the table. using a jar of ovaries to prop her head up while creating an ?incision? in her skin to get to the skull because it was the perfect size and it’s what was available. the doctor saying stuff like “at this point you can just tear it off it’ll come apart quite easily, yeah just grab that chunk.” i dunno. stuff that’d SEEM disrespectful but in reality it’s just

what we have to do to get by. tasks. i didn’t feel anything when i used the bone saw to cut into her skull layer and i was disappointed in myself for volunteering because honestly deep down i knew i just wanted to say: i used the bone saw to cut open her skull. like wow. coming from the person that was expecting all this respect for the donor, so i recognize that selfish thought and i’ll be more thoughtful next time on what an action like that would actually mean or say about my intentions. i didn’t feel anything either when i was handling her brain, it felt like a very intense state of neutral. i felt sick to my stomach from the smell and worried if i’d have to step outside to vomit but thank god i didn’t.

by the way a brain is definitely one of the things i’ve held. it’s not fun. you don’t wanna touch it, it feels way worse than what you’d expect it’d feel like. really mushy and firm, if you’re not holding it right there’s the chance it could come apart in your hands, like when the doctor was holding the whole brain the thalamus fell haha. my prof told him “your thalamus fell. that’s not something i ever thought i would say.” tint of skin was really paleish yellowish gray and the brain was very grayish purplish sort of it’s hard to describe. i was observing for a long time on one side of the table, but when i walked to the other side of the table i noticed right away that her face was sagging much more from the new view. she looked so sickly. that’s not the right word because she was dead, lol. oh gosh. so it was a lot of that in the cadaver room with my sort-of friends i was talking to, i’ve been being more outgoing in my class which is extremely hard for me even though it’s really easy and takes little effort, just a lot of bravery.

one more thing when we were cutting the whole brain into slices (i wanted to cut a slice but i just let other people do it even tho i was closest because i recognized i already did one gruesome activity and i should let others have a turn) is i wanted to take a bite of the brain? it just reminded me of bread the way it was cut and i think i sort of shocked my classmates a little when i said that softly in the most normal, jokey way i could so i wouldn’t outcast myself for saying something so crazy! but normal. cause i mean it looked like bread slices. then id look at her face and wonder what she was like, how her life was, what she did, i even asked what her name was because i wanted to know but was reminded right away about confidentiality haha. i hope she’s ok. i know she’s dead. but i dont know what happened to her. i hate that i barely understood or remembered the terminology that was used, i could barely remember what the sagittal, coronal, and horizontal views of the brain were. i tried so hard to remember what a blood vessel does. stupid drawing during class 24/7 throughout middle school and high school.

i thought after that my life would change and i would have some kind of revelation but its invisible. yeah i feel changed but in the most numb, neutral, barely noticeable way. shes someone i will remember forever and i feel bad cause i almost feel like it was a sacrifice and she deserved better than to be cut up by one, maybe 3 community college classes and looked at of course, but i was told afterwards that the company takes the cadavers away after the students are done with them and they go to be incinerated. what the hell! but what can you expect. she deserved better. i didn’t do anything wrong but i feel sort of guilty. i’m not sure if there will be another chance for me to dissect a cadaver in courses i hope to take in the future, but if i do, i’ll be thankful. i guess that’s what i can do right now for the session i just participated in. oh god finally an answer. and it only took some typing out to do of my feelings. how neat is that?

hihi my love!! i hope you are doing well ^^ i was just working on some paperwork stuff for school and it got me thinking about nanami, so i thought i would share it with you ^^ just thinking about nanami working so hard and trying to convince him to take a day to relax, a day for himself! i know it can be easy to get caught up in work and if hes like me, sometimes i can use it as a stress reliever, but maybe he still needs stress relievers sometimes with a day out with his lover or a stay at home lazy day!!

Omg yes, I totally hear you about using work as a stress reliever sometimes. So I can only imagine if it was Nanami AND his s/o both did that, they would have to make sure to plan special outings!

In my opinion, I think that it would be super duper cute stuff, like going to the zoo! Oh gosh, I can see it now. Nanami would look so adorable in like a little polo shirt and some khaki shorts and sandals :( He'd have Dad sunglasses on and stuff - (maybe you take Yuji with you sometimes on these outings to the zoo since Yuji is obviously his son heheh).

But he would make sure to plan it in advance and make sure that the weather would be nice and stuff! Maybe he'd pick a day when it's the first day of a new exhibit!

To me I think it would be a jungle cat exhibit heheh. OH WAIT! WAIT, WHAT IF HE DABBLES IN PHOTOGRAPHY???? Oh, he's got one hand around his camera and one holding your hand the whole time!!!!!!!! STOP, IM GONNA CRY!!!!

He gets so excited to take pictures of all the animals because it really helps relieve his stress from work and gojo and stuff :( But like I said, his favorite is taking pictures of the jungle kitty cats hehehehehe. We know this man loves his fun prints with spots!

And then half-way through your outing, he ends up taking pictures of you! What beauty! What art! How beautiful you are! What animals!? He's not looking at the animals anymore, he's only watching you watching the animals!!!!

When you get home, you're excited to see all the pictures he took and halfway through, you see that he's done it again and the other half of the pictures are just you! :)))

And he always takes and prints out his favorite of you from that day (it's so hard for him to choose, they're all his favorite) and he changes it out of his wallet or his suit pocket so you're always with him wherever he goes :(

HATED it when it happened for the first time

like,, c’mon! katsuki will go to bed at 9pm sharp, and he wants to stay like that for the rest of the night

but i suppose that it wasn’t really your fault that you’d go to bed hungry.

sometimes, you’d be too tired to even think about food— so you’d just,, flop down on the bed.

and sometimes, it would also be because katsuki loved dragging you along with his,,, early sleeping habits.

it takes a few shakes for him to wake up, and he’s beyond annoyed when he opens his eyes— and sees you awake

“go to sleep.”

“katsu, i’m hungry.”

he’ll groan, 🤨 “why don’t you make your own food??” because why did you have to wake HIM up, it’s like 1am

“because katsuki— the kitchen’s dark, and your food just hits differently.”

still wanting to go back to sleep, he rejects “no. your hunger can wait until tomorrow.”

but the sudden loud grumble of your stomach basically knocks the sleepiness out of him, and he shifts “fine. i’ll make you a snack, if that’ll keep you at bay.”

he’ll stay awake for a bit, even after he finishes making you a snack— because he needs to make sure that you brush your teeth afterwards.

katsuki will look SO annoyed, and he’ll obviously say no the next time you’ll ask him for food at 1am.

“don’t wake me up next time” still makes you food the next time you ask him to

however, the fact that you want HIS food, and not anything else— is quite the ego booster for him. he secretly likes doing this for you, he’s whipped.

kirishima eijirou

he’s very willing— he’ll be very sleepy, but he’ll make you food <3

it takes a few shakes for him to wake up, because eijirou’s quite a deep sleeper— if he’s asleep, then he’s OUT

he’ll sit right up on the bed, “babe?” he questions, when he felt you shake his arm. “what’s wrong?”

“i’m,, hungry.” eijirou being half asleep— takes a glance at the clock. it’s 2am “what could you be hungry for at 2am, sweetheart?”

“anything, really.” now kiri’s confused, because— didn’t you eat dinner earlier? but, that’s not really the point right now, he’s gotta make some food for you

he’ll shake his head, as an attempt to shake the sleepiness off— and he’ll walk off to make a really simple snack for you

he’s not gonna make you a full course meal at 2am— and it’s not because he doesn’t WANT to, but he just doesn’t have the physical capability atm

it’s really because kiri’s difficult to wake up— and he still wants to provide you food, even if he isn’t awake

don’t worry about the utensils, because he plans on doing them when it’s not 2am

if your sudden hunger continues on, he’ll probably start leaving more snacks in the kitchen for you to eat

“go to sleep, babe.” he’ll sleepily whisper, kissing you on the temple “tell me if you’re still hungry.” because whatever makes you happy <3

todoroki shouto

shouto’s a very light sleeper, so waking him up isn’t an issue— but gosh, do you really want to interrupt his sleep?

he looks so calm, and do you really want to disrupt his rest with your hunger

but shouto immediately wakes up when he hears a sudden grumble, and also when he realizes that you weren’t in his arms’ reach anymore

a simple shake will make his eyes open “..Y/N?” he’ll look at your up-right position, “are you hungry?”

oh. he’s referring to your stomach grumbling— “n-no. you can go back to sleep.” yet your stomach still grumbles

“was dinner not enough to satisfy you?” he asks with concern laced in his voice, the clock flashes 2am

“well uhm, i guess you can say that. i’m just hungry.”

and shouto’s like well— that’s nOT AN ISSUE 🤠 and he’ll immediately go make some soba, or just whatever you’re craving for (but soba’s his go to)

shouto has a habit of going a little overboard with the meal preparations— he tends to accidentally make a full course meal, at 2am

don’t think about the utensils. he’ll immediately wash it up for you, and he’ll even fight off his sleepiness— just so he could watch you brush your teeth

if your sudden night time hunger continues from then on, he’ll try to make sure you’ll eat plenty before bedtime.

but overall? shouto will do anything for you. i think if you asked him to jump off a cliff with you, he’d do it with no hesitations.

so being hungry in the middle of the night is not an issue for him— he’ll make sure you’ll feel content.

Akira was silent for the duration of your playful scolding. You didn't really bother to check- he was always like this. That's why when Akira grabbed you by your waist and picked you up, you only laughed and threw your head back, Akira kissing you over your neck and jawline.

"Akira, put me down, you dog!" Akira squeezed you gently, mumbling a 'no' before he continued kissing over the side of your face. "I'm sorry, you're not a crybaby! Put me down!"

"Who's the crybaby now, huh?!" Akira shouted as he lifted you over his shoulder, continuing to walk down the hallway despite your half-assed protests. "Just to clarify, it's you!" He exaggerated his words by slamming you down onto the couch, jumping on top of you and wrestling to get into a comfortable position with you.

"You're lucky I'm the only one home today, bitch."

Itadori will first complain about why you want to put makeup on him in the first place since he is afraid of Sukuna biting your hand and he is just plain confused/shocked since it was out of random.

He will fidget a lot and he keeps it hard to stay still since it just feels weird to have brushes and products on his face - he is just not used to it.

When you are doing his makeup, he will have his hands on your hips since it really comforts him and he’s just a guy that loves physical touch in general.

Itadori will complain about how long it is taking and you’ll have to fire back by telling him that you are trying to make it perfect - you’ll probably smack his head for complaining too much.

When you do his eyeshadow look, you’ll probably go with a red or peach/pink look since it will match his hair.

Or maybe a sunset type of look to match his bright and pure personality since he seems like a really bright person in general.

Sometimes he will mess up the look by opening his eyes but you can fix it since you are just an amazing artist.

When you show him the eyeliner, eyelash curler, and mascara, Itadori will argue with you that those items will poke his eye and he will go blind…..no you ain’t child, sit down.

“Babe, that’s gonna poke my eye!”

“Baby, on my gosh, it’s not going to poke your eye or even touch it, relax”

When it comes to his lips, you’ll probably just put lip balm on or maybe some lip gloss - if you are lucky because he will complain about how sticky it is.

Maybe a lip tint will make him stop complaining - but he will still complain since it is a lip product and it will interfere with how he eats since this has a big appetite.

When you add some highlight on his cheekbones, you swear he looks brighter than he usually does and his personality just makes it shine brighter.

After the whole makeup look, please kiss him for being so patient (even if he complained during the whole session) and if you do, there will be a huge smile on his face - imagine the highlight when he smiles.

When you ask him if you can do a makeup look on him, Fushiguro will look at you with a really confused expression on his face before asking why.

And no matter what your reason is, just give him the puppy dog eyes and you got him on your chair already.

If it makes you happy and he gets to see you smile, then he will willingly do it for you.

When you start with his look, Fushiguro is really quiet and still but when you lean in close, he will start blushing profusely - no it is not from the blush you placed on his cheeks.

When it comes to his eyeshadow look, you’ll probably go with a mix of green and blue since it really makes his eye colour pop out.

Or maybe a neutral kind of look because Fushiguro isn’t the type of person that wasn’t to stand out - and he is already really pretty so…

When it comes to eyelashes, you have always been jealous and have mentioned it to him before - it’s just when it is close up, you notice how long they really are.

But now that he has mascara on and that his eyelashes are curled, they seem longer and more beautiful then they have before - if that is even possible.

You’ll probably ask him if you can curl his eyelashes every day if you are allowed - there is a 50/50 chance he will say ‘yes’

“Why are you lashes to pretty Mimi? I’m really jealous,”

“What are you even talking about?”

While you are doing his makeup - if you can do things one-handed - you both would be holding hands during some time of the makeup session - he just really likes holding your hand.

When you apply any lip products on him, he will flinch back slightly and ask what you are putting on him before offering his lips again - just kiss him before you do to get him surprised.

After the whole makeup look is done, give him a kiss on the cheek/forehead as a thank you before showing your artwork to him - I feel like he would be surprised at how he looks before telling you that you did a good job.

ah. sweet, sweet, pretty boy akaashi

always pretty, but sweet? haha... thats about to change.

this is probably bokuto’s fault, akaashi feels the need to supervise him though, especially after that one time he left him unattended at a party and he jumped off the roof into the pool and nearly drowned because he forgot he could swim

yeah.

akaashi isn’t one for pda aside from the basic stuff like hand holding and maybe the occasional kiss on the cheek and he knows you are perfectly independent and thats all good and dandy, but even when hes being social and talking to his friends he still has one eye on you and one eye on bokuto

when you finally make your way over to him, asking him to hold your drink while you use the restroom, he simply nods to you, takes your drink in one hand, and covers it with the other, nonchalantly.

to say that akaashi, your boyfriend, is shocked when a random person comes up to him claiming to be your boyfriend comes up to him and asking for your drink, would be an understatement

almost instantly he calls out, “bokuto.” his voice is loud and firm enough that bokuto is looking in his direction almost instantly, ceasing his dancing on top of a table. when akaashi waves him over, he gives him a look of confusion but ends up coming over to where akaashi and this stranger is

and he enters the conversation hearing the stranger say, “im their boyfriend and they asked me to get their drink now hand it over.”

bokuto, naturally, is confused goes to say, “wait i thought y/n was—”

“bokuto.” akaashi silences him with a look, extending the hand with your drink to bokuto, much to the chagrin of the stranger and only serving to further confuse bokuto, though he accepts the drink nonetheless.

akaashi wordlessly takes bokutos freehand and places it on top of the drink to cover the top, before turning to the guy, who had started complaining

and then punching him in the face

never in his life could bokuto recall a time in which he was scared of akaashi

until now

akaashi turns back around to bokuto, taking your drink from his hand and shielding it once more, as though he DIDN’T just resort to violence.

you’ll never know this happened until one day someone talks about how akaashi is the calmest and kindest person ever and bokuto is like HA REMEMBER THAT TIME YOU PUNCHED THAT GUY CLAIMING TO BE Y/N’S BOYFRIEND IN THE FACE?

and then some random guy approaches

now iwaizumi is a very intimidating person so im shocked this person had the BALLS to even try but they start spewing nonsense about how you told them to come retrieve you drink from him

at some point the guy probably implies that you’ll be going home with him and thats when iwaizumi sees oikawa passing by, releasing a laugh before calling out for Oikawa, “hey! shittykawa come here!”

oikawa is pouting but he comes over and sees the guy and is like, “oh whos this iwa chan?

and iwaizumi is laughing again as he gestures to the guy and goes, “apparently the guy whos taking y/n home.”

and then he goes, “do me a favor and hold this oikawa.” and oikawa is handed your drink, something that raises questions in him because why iwa chan?

he doesn’t have time to ask of course, because iwaizumi has already rammed his fist into the stranger’s face, effectively knocking him into the floor. ah the power of the ace of aoba johsai :)

he definitely would’ve kept going, threatening the guy as he wrecked his face until the message got through his thick skull, had you not arrived and witnessed the mans bloody nose, stopping iwaizumi from continuing

y’all are visiting home since you’ve been off at uni for quite some time now, the gang is back together, daichi, asahi, kiyoko and a few others y’all met through volleyball in high school

you and suga have probably been in a relationship since you left high school, because it took y’all three years to figure yourselves out. its basically just reminding each other to ya know... take care of yourself mentally and physically

and of course, now that you’re all of age, you go to a club, maybe a college party that a friend of a friend is having

regardless, suga is always going to have an eye on you, he’s gonna know your exact location at all times. though he isn’t going to follow you around or anything, everyone once in a while he’ll drop by, hand on the small of your back while you talk to some old friends—or new ones idk maybe you’re an extrovert. he’s checking on you though! he asks if you’ve eaten, have you been drinking water, is there anything you need, are you feeing okay?

then he’ll press a kiss to your cheek and leave to go hang out with daichi and suga, they’re all just sitting on the couch, maybe with some new friends too, maybe with old ones from his karasuno days

you come over, all like, “babe would you mind holding my drink while i go to the bathroom?”

he’s like yes ofc ofc, and he takes your drink, probably sits with his elbow resting on his knee, holding the drink between his legs with his other hand over the top of the drink. he’s pretty subtle about it, you wouldn’t notice as he just nonchalantly takes the drink from you and carries on the conversation that there’s a small furrow in his brow because why is the world like this, you shouldn’t need someone to hold your drink

everyone would honestly forget the drink isn’t his

now if someone happened to come over claiming to be your friend or maybe even a potential hook up— something sugawara would laugh at as your boyfriend, probably pretending to be intrigued by the idea before revealing who he is — well let me just say...

a lot of people forget that out lovely mom friend and resident king, sugawara koushi, is also so very very very chaotic person.

which is why i KNOW when you hand sugawara that drink, if anyone even TRIES to take it from him, to ask him for it claiming you sent them, he will bark. suga WILL bark, he learnt how to just for this situation. he will also hiss.

tsukishima did not want to go to this party, you probably dragged him to said party, and he only went because its you that dragged him to the party.

he’s probably vibing alone in a corner or something, maybe engaging in conversation on occasion if someone he tolerates happens to be at the party, otherwise he’s stuck to you like glue, just following you around, arm over your shoulder, shameless pda as he wraps his arms around you and lays his head in the crook of your neck as you talk to your friends

then you’re like lmao babe free me i need to use the bathroom, also watch my drink, and he’s like okay FINE be that, and he takes your drink and watches as you make your way through the crowd of people

he’ll probably wait by the bathroom for your return because ew people he doesn’t want to have to socialize— especially not alone. and if anyone tries to socialize, hit on him, anything, he’s really just gonna straight up make it clear that he is not in the mood

it doesn’t really occur to him to cover the drink until some random person comes up to him

claiming to be a friend of yours and having come to collect your drink for you

there are several issues here, first of all, tsukishima was fairly sure he knew all your friends and he did not recognize this stranger at all, and he was pretty sure if he asked their name he wouldn’t recognize that either

secondly, tsukishima knows you would’ve come to get not only your drink but him because he made it very clear that if you abandon him at the party to fend for his own he would be rather unhappy

so when tsukishima questions the person some more and realizes his suspicions are correct, they are in fact; a liar. he laughs. he genuinely laughs because wow YOU THOUGHT you could fool him?

idiot.

he’s covering your drink with his palm— because he isn’t going to set it down? that’s just plain dumb, and tsukishima isn’t dumb. no, he’s covering it with his palm, and then using his free hand to grab this stranger by the neck and slam them into the wall he had just been leaning on because he needs to make it very clear that lmao this is NOT okay :D

this guys feet almost lift off the ground but tsukishima probably towers over the stranger because he’s a tall guy, and suddenly he’s threatening them, telling them that if they ever try something like that again they won’t be leaving the party.

hey look its you!

tsukishima offers the strange one final, warning of a smile, before patting their shoulder awkwardly and stepping away from them to turn to you, wrapping an arm around your shoulder before nonchalantly just saying, “lets go. this is lame. oh— and here’s your drink.”

Another airship-to-Atlas headcanon to help you through this trying time (strap in because this is gonna be a long one, basically a short story):

After having having spent the first several days venting at Neo one-sided before giving her the Semblance-sign idea to communicate back, in the following week of the journey towards Atlas Cinder for all intents and purposes seems to being enjoying herself. Her talkings towards Neo have become less venting and more general conversation, with even the occasional question about Neo’s life both before the Fall and what she went through after. Cinder even has been amicable towards random passerby and people met during layovers in the small villages they stop into to get food and fuel-Dust for the ship. Neo, on the other hand, was slowly getting more and more angry, and Cinder’s lack of acknowledgement of that fact and continued cheerful demeanor in the face of it only exacerbated the matter. Finally one night, during a forced layover to avoid a nearby Altesian cargo ship, sat around a small cookfire built for the night in a forest clearing, and having watched Cinder smile and hum to herself as she roasted some meat over the fire, Neo snaps. She bolts out of her seat, stomps over to where Cinder is sat, and conjures a sign that says: “How?! How can you be so godsdamn cheerful?! After all that has happened?!” Neo flips the sign: “You had half your face and an arm blown off! You talked about how MISERABLE the last year has been, how you would be tortured by some sort of immortal witch whenever you failed her!” Another flip: “You have the arm of a godsdamn GRIMM basically STAPLED to you! And we are on our way to sneak into the most militarized Kingdom on all of Remnant to try murder a teenager!” Flip: “And yet, you, you of all people, Cinder “My Life F*****g Sucks” Fall, sit here SMILING! You chuckle at shopkeepers’ dumb jokes! You sing softly to yourself when you’re working on things!” Flip: “And you try make friendly conversation with a MUTE! Who tried to KILL YOU, BARELY A WEEK AGO! So tell me how?! Why?!” A final flip: “Why are you so damn HAPPY?!”

After having glanced over at Neo to read all that, Cinder looks back to the fire, for a moment staring into it with a neutral expression on her face, saying nothing. After a few heartbeats, without looking back at Neo, Cinder says: “If Roman were here right now, which of these two things do you think he’d say?” Neo recoils, and immediately tries to backhand Cinder. Cinder catches her arm, and pulls Neo down (not that she had far to pull) to eye level where she was sitting, holds her mere inches from her face, looks her in the eye and repeats: “If. Roman. Were here. RIGHT. NOW. Which of these. Two things. Do you think. He’d say? Do you think he’d say,” and Cinder switches a faux Roman-esque accent: “Gosh Neo, I am just SO! GLAD! that you are determined to stay ABSOLUTELY MISERABLE! Thank you SO MUCH for being deadset on letting my death consume your EVERY! WAKING! MOMENT! and prevent yourself from enjoying anything AT ALL! IN ANY WAY!”. At this Neo turns her face away and closes her eyes, tears welling in the corner. “Or,” says Cinder, returning to her normal voice and releasing Neo’s arm and letting her fall to the ground: “Do you think he’d say: Neo, I am honored that you are working to avenge me. But you CAN’T let anger and pain be all that you have. I know you are hurting but you can’t let that be the One Thing that you have. Even if it’s just for a few weeks, a few months... try to enjoy yourself, to enjoy LIFE.” They both sit there in silence for a moment. Eventually Cinder speaks again: “For a long time, I was miserable. Every single thing I did would backfire in my face, unending failure, unending pain. Every short victory would immediately be ground into the dirt and buried under a torrent of defeat. Those that were supposed to protect me, to care for me,” Cinder’s right hand goes to the base of her throat and rubs it absentmindedly, while her eye glances at the withered claw grafted to what remained of her left arm, “All they would do was hurt me, over and over and over again.” Cinder turns back to Neo, sitting back silently in the grass where she had fell, a stunned look on her face. “But for the first time in years, I am free of all that. If only for awhile. So yes, despite all that I have been through, and despite the fact I have no clue what will happen when we finally reach Atlas, I am doing my best to be happy. To enjoy things. To be kind. To... to live. If only for awhile. It’s better than nothing.”

Cinder’s gaze softens, and she leans down while offering her right hand to Neo. In a voice barely louder than a whisper, Cinder says “I’d like to be happy with you, if you’d let me. Will you join me? Put our anger, our loss, our revenge aside, for just a little while? Smile and laugh and be happy with me... just for awhile?” Neo looks at Cinder’s offered hand, then up to her face, one golden eye gleaming in the fire light. After a pause, she takes her hand, and in her other hand she makes a sign that says:

“It’s better than nobody.”

my first impression of this character: i can’t remember specific feelings about jack right away, i was sort of just cautiously judging the show (i didnt know it’d be good). i remember in his first proper scene, being taken back by his voice because it’s higher than i expected. i do remember early in the watch i didn’t like him though. i think that applies to most lost fans. i bounced back and forth between “okay i do feel bad for you” and finding him insufferable. i found his first centric episode REALLY engaging. this sounds all over the place but thats jack for ya

my thoughts on this character now: well it was a slow burn but over time i grew to like jack and then love him. i acknowledge he isn’t easy to love, but he got me. fucker got me. so love/hate? like i love him but when he’s bad it’s painful (and it’s worse because i know he’s a good boy!). even when i didn’t like him i always found him endearing and sympathetic. and my headcanon that he’s autistic really helped him make sense to me

are they a good cook or bad cook: technically he’s an alright cook, he just won’t ever flavour the chicken. nice omelettes and pancakes tho (in case you shouldn’t tell, i see jack as having the most generic taste in food and drink ever. it amuses me and hey its in character)

fave movie: i’ve decided ana loves action movies but the problem is i don’t, so i have no idea how to discern what would be a good pick for her. think stuff with shoot outs and car chases and explosions from the 80s and 90s... (MY fave action movie is con air, but i can’t just pick that, i dunno the genre well enough to know if she’d like that one)

fave pizza toppings: ham and cheese most of the time, sometimes a full on meat lovers with chili if she’s in the mood for it

song they dance their ass off to: i think its fair to assume this girl loves rock, yeah? guns & roses and bon jovi come to mind. i can see her screaming along to “living on a prayer”. beyond that, i’m afraid i find myself lacking in broader rock genre knowledge (like, how the kinda music an american puerto rican lady grew up with is probably different to the music i, a white australian, am familiar with or associate with Rock). i stand by living with a prayer tho because thats a good song to lose your fucking mind to in my opinion

my first impression of this character: its hard to recall. i’m not remembering any strong feelings one way or another, besides recognising michelle rodriguez from other things. i think i was neutral at first. i am happy to say i never went thru a “i hate ana lucia” phrase. oh its coming back to me, i was neutral but then i very quickly grew to like her. her tempestuous but secretly soft demeanour + her butch energy = <3

my thoughts on this character now: i fucking love ana lucia so much. it’s a shame she wasn’t around much, and i’ve started to notice that even in the one season she was in, she’d disappear for long stretches of time, which is a poor use of a new character [grumbles] i love her. i love her. she’s a bitch but she’s my bitch! (...more likely, i’d be hers...). last time i watched season 5, i knew ana’s ghost was gonna show up and i bit my knuckle to stop myself squealing ahead of time. i think i’d put her in my top five lost ladies. like the writing wasn’t perfect, i feel like they wasted her, but i still think she’s a great character anyways

are they a good cook or bad cook: she is, her mom made sure of that, but she doesn’t cook often, sticking to take out most of the time

signature dinner dish: i had trouble thinking of what she’d cook. so heres a little scenario instead: let’s say ana’s got a girl over for a date and she’s thinking “i like this chick, so im gonna actually make something for her” and at first she plans to make some sort of well prepared chicken-based meal and then she looks in her fridge and is like “ah...” so long story short she ends up making spaghetti bolognese (but she wants to try harder so she actually makes the sauce instead of using store bought)

do they like roller coasters: i thought about it and i’ve decided i like the idea of him not being as affected by roller coasters as humans so he’s like “huh. i don’t see how that’s supposed to be fun”. to which dean calls him a “friggin’ robot”

my first impression of his character: two things, “holy shit his voice??” (nobody prepared me) and “i ship him with dean”. literally the second he spoke to dean i shipped it. such a wham. yeah, as far as i recall, i’ve loved cas since the start. it’s an inherently interesting concept, and misha’s performance and oh my gosh the autistic energy off this bitch

my thoughts on this character now: cas is my favourite supernatural character and i love him so much. it’s hard to put into words, he’s just a really good character. eps focusing on him (or at least a b-plot are always are delight). now, i stopped watching half way thru season 8 and i’ve only seen chunks of season 9. but from what i gather cas has remained my lovely autistic-coded boy. tho i have noticed from the brief bits i’ve seen of later eps, he does emote a looot more. it’s a tad jarring but i’d adapt if i was like, actually watching the show. anyways cas good. love him. oh and the fact that he’s canonically queer brings me joy

didn't think i'd do another one of these but here i am. y'all know the drill, spoilers for everything aot are under the cut and i highly, highly recommend getting into aot if you haven't already. it's frickin amazing.

AIGHT I'M FRESH OFF OF WATCHING EP 13 AND OMG I AM ABOUT TO GO ABSOLUTELY INSANE. side note: right after i finished the ep i saw this pic on onoken's twt

AND LIKE I STILL LOVE THESE TWO SO MUCH AND THEIR PERFORMANCE THIS EP WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING BUT MY GOSH I FRICKIN LOST IT. I absolutely despise floch and eren right now solely bc theyre essentially imprisoning their friends and coworkers. i'm more angry at eren than floch cause i care more about him noT TO MENTION HE THREATENED HIS BEST FRIENDS OF MF ~12 YEARS LIKE ??? seeing mikasa look so... defeated, I felt so bad for her. all she's been doing is trying to get eren back home and keep him safe while he's still on his 13 years as a titan shifter

AND CAN WE JUST-

this whole scene was amazing in the sense that it showed just how messed up this whole scenario is. Levi had protected eren at all costs for years. There were so many sacrifices made in the name of protecting eren. and now the boy himself was essentially making all these sacrifices into a joke. they don't have to attack the military for this. like hanji had said, there's no time to be fighting amongst each other.

Ok but now for the better half of the ep, hehe.

GOSH, i've been wanting gabi to meet so many ppl including sasha's family and nicolo. and she's managed to meet everyone and then some, including the girl that sasha had saved from a titan, kaya, and now eren too (i can only imagine, until next sunday ofc, how the convo/realizations between gabi and eren are gonna go IM SO EXCITED)

i absolutely love the situation we got to see: a marleyan captive (specifically the one who was very attached to sasha) and an eldian 'honorary marleyan' (specfically the one who killed sasha). like w ep11, we got to see gabi's eyes being opened again, just a little bit. she's seen again and again how the 'island demons' are nothing but ordinary ppl, just like her. and that also includes some that have shown them hospitality and sheltered them. AND that passing comment that gabi made abt mr. braus' dialect and how it was from marley... GOSH the day she fully opens her eyes and realizes that she and the ppl on the island are one and the same... PHEW thatll be one of the best moments ever. falco's already been pretty neutral to the island ppl so i am just WAITING for him to talk to eren again.

one last thing: WHAT MAKE'S ZEKE SPINAL FLUID SO MF SPECIAL. LIKE ???? ik that what he said abt it making eldians freeze up is prob a lie bUT NOW WE SOMEWHAT KNOW HOW CONNIE'S VILLAGE GOT TURNED. i just ... "i send the Power of the Titans to the coordinate via Paths" AND THAT IS THE ONLY EXPLANATION WE GET FOR THAT. like does royal blood just surpass EVERYTHING we know abt the titan power ??? and if so then like... d a n g. mf is op asf.

anywayyy, all in all, i am LOVING attack on titan more and more every week. everything that's been happening is absolutely insane and i can't wait for everything else to be animated. i rly rly RLY hope an ova is made in the future bc WE N E E D to see the final chapter animated. i will ofc pick up the manga once ep16 airs but i still wanna see that final chapter animated and released to the public in the future.

also also congrats to Ishikawa Yui-san (voices mikasa) for winning 'Best Voice Actress' at the 15th Seiyuu Awards!! she deserves it :3

and also Koyasu Takehito-san (voices zeke) for winning 'Supporting Voice Actor' !! his voice is absolutely amazing, he definitely deserves it

So I've come to some realizations. And also still am confused about a lot. But anyways I'm going to share here because i dont really have anywhere else to.

I identify as androgyne. A lot of people have known me to be a transman so let me explain a bit. I'll try to keep organized but no promises.

I did really believe that i was a transman. It seemed to be the most fitting by definition and experience to describe what i feel and was actually something i could better explain to people.

Realistically though I've always felt this confusion within me of neutrality but also leaning way more masculine. I was often conflicted when seeing myself in the mirror, getting ready, introducing myself, presenting myself online or irl. I held a confusion for a long time of "Am i a very masculine girl or a feminine guy?" And for years drew a blank. It was pretty much with me my entire life as soon as i had any sense of self and a realization that i was different than the kids in school. People on the regular were coming over to me and asking if i was a boy or girl and i never really knew what to say.

The older i got the harder it got. It really got me one day when getting ready for school and realizing i was trying to look handsome not pretty. I was about 13 maybe.

I began openly identifying as queer/androgynous. It was the most comfortable i had ever been with myself. That lasted for a couple years.

Ever sense puberty started giving me a chest, i had wanted it to go away so badly. I was practicing "binding" in so many ways before i even knew what that meant. And this discomfort persisted even when at my most comfortable time of self expression.

At around age 15/16 i learned about transmen. I learned what it meant to transition, i learned about top surgery, i read and listened to stories i could relate to. I thought oh my gosh this is it! This is why i am the way i am! I came out as a transman.

At 18 i was able to start hormones and at 20 had top surgery.

I enjoyed certain changes from T and didnt like some as much that became more apparent as time went on. After a while i began questioning myself because i realized i didnt actually want to be an actual man. The choices i made for myself did alleviate dysphoria but there was a stopping point. I didnt want to go any further.

I found myself back in that neutral place. If i am not trans why would doing this help? If i was cis i wouldnt be so thankful for what transitioning did do to help me.

I came to the conclusion i am just very androgynous more masculine leaning. I did have dysphoria and i did what was necessary to help it. I transitioned to an androgynous body because that's who i am. But also realistically apart from my chest i never really hated my body and probably could've done without T except i was glad to not have such a squeaky voice and also look fit bc of body fat redistribution and the abiltiy to gain muscle easier.

Im trying to accept that and trying to figure out which pronouns to use but they all feel weird at this point.

And of course ive also been told i cant experience dysphoria without being binary trans. And i thought that too because it makes a lot more sense and would be a lot easier for me to be. But im just, not. I know what i feel and it's a feeling I've had for as long as i remember.

I havent told many people in my life because well, it's hard to explain and its not like a whole lot is gonna change so unless i decide strictly on 1 set of pronouns, i dont think I'll mention it to my fam. Im still me, i still wear mens clothing as always, and they went through a lot w me over all this already.

Right now i try to take every pronoun used by strangers as neutral. Theyre just words. And on a daily at work i get mixed pronouns so maybe hearing people say different things will help me figure out what's most comfortable.

You stared from afar from your side of the training base. Your head leaning against your palms, daydreaming. Wishing. Just wishing he could take one glance your way.

You all had just finished another lesson. Another lesson to which you stumbled a little at your teacher, Yon-Rogg, but only because he placed his hands on your waist to teach you a move.

“Whats wrong little lady?” Vers stopped by, your best friend sitting beside you sweating. “You seem out of it today.”

“Its nothing, really.” As you said this your eyes made contact to Yon-Rogg bending down to pick up his towel. You bit your lip and did not blink once!

Vers hummed to herself, “oooooooooooooooh I see.”

“See what?”

“His as*! No I’m just playing with you. No I see that you like the man.”

You didn’t even try to fight. You shrugged and shook your head, “yeah Vers but think about it. This godly delicious creature of a man even looking at moi! I don’t think so...at all. He’s him and I’m,” you gulped and took a glance at yourself. “Well you get the picture.”

“Y/n don’t worry, the best thing about being in a relationship is being yourself. You have to be truthful.”

“I can’t Vers, I just can’t. I mean I want to be truthful but with him its just different.”

Vers took a hold of your hand, “no woman should have to disguise themselves to deserve love. You are beautiful enough, you are smart enough, you are enough.”

You chuckled, “thanks...my hero.”

Vers giggled and jokingly wiped non existent tears, “girl, I am flattered. Just keep the compliments going, we got time.”

“-But I need to do this another way.”

Vers mentally slapped herself on the face, “so what, all that pep talk went straight through one ear and entered out the other?”

“Yep, and I’m gonna need your help!”

Vers gave a face of disgust. “Oh shi* I don’t like the sound of that.”

You and Vers entered your room, tired, worn out from all the-

“I can’t believe you just dragged me to go on a shopping spree with you,” Vers whined as she dropped herself on your bed.

You hauled all the bags on your table and slumped on your chair, “I can’t believe I wasted that much money.” You and Vers laughed hard.

“Well I see that this is my leave so good luck in all your sexiness and yeah-”

Clutching onto her sleeve you gave her a death glare as you glanced up, “I am not done with you yet.”

“God okay woman. What else do you want me to do? Wipe your as*.”

“Haha very funny,” you sarcastically answered. “No I need help with my outfit.”

It felt like it took forever! Your makeup was glamorous, making you look like a model, no a goddess! You put on jewelry, keeping it simple but sexy. The hoop earrings dangled lightly atop your shoulders, just grazing the skin from time to time as they twirled from your movement. You added a blinged up choker, it wasn’t too tight but just enough to look almost attached to your skin. You slipped on your tight outfit and had some skin showing. Last but not least you applied some lip gloss on your lips. The shimmer making your lips irresistible. You put your heels on and called out to Vers, “okay I’m finished...close your eyes.”

You peeked and saw she was listening to orders, “good.” You jumped out and yelled, “ta-da!”

Vers opened her eyes and gasped, “oh my god! Y/n you look super hot! Yes, get it girl! You got this!”

You twirled around and looked at yourself in the mirror.

You enjoyed what you saw in the reflection but you wondered if Yon-Rogg would like what he sees.

“So you like it?”

Vers hugged you and nodded, “I do, but I always like the real you more, but its nice for a change. And also who said it was bad for a woman to wear makeup? I mean men can get all hot and whatever from time to time, well then so can us girls!”

You smiled and thanked Vers walking out to go see Yon-Rogg.

He was by himself in the cafeteria, writing and just focused. Seeing that there was no one there you felt nervous and was about to dart back to your room when your heels alarmed him and he called out to you.

“Hi there, sorry if you’re doing something, I can come back another time,” you bashfully looked away from him. He wasn’t saying a word and thats when you peered at his face, you could see he was speechless. His mouth was opened just a bit.

“Sorry,” he apologized blushing a little. “Please if you would like to, you could sit here.” He pointed to the seat in front of him. You nodded and almost ran to the chair but kept your cool.

Now Yon-Rogg got a really good look at you. “May I just say, you look exquisite this evening y/n.”

“Thank you, Commander.”

“Please call me Yon-Rogg...I bet it sounds way better coming out of your lips.”

You laced your fingers together, feeling the aura heating up. The setting becoming a flirtatious one, “alright then, Yon-Rogg.”

He giggles and nods, “well, I was right.”

“So what are you writing?” You asked as you motioned your head to the paper that sat in front of him.

“Its a summary of how everyone today did in their training. Things they need to work on, progression.”

You slumped in your chair out of frustration, “oh that is not good.”

“What?”

“Oh I was talking about me. I did kinda fail today.”

Yon-Rogg focuses on you instead of the paper and grabs your hands, “let me ask you something y/n, did you try today?”

You were quick with an answer, “of course Comman- I mean Yon-Rogg. Of course I tried, I always try.”

Yon-Rogg leaned back in his seat, “see there, thats all you can do. Try. Thats all that matters to me, when I look at you all I want to observe is that you are trying. And thats what I always see with you.”

“Well its all thanks to you, I mean if you hadn’t shown us what a incredible leader you are and encouraged me then we probably would be having a different conversation right now but you only teach me good qualities.”

Yon-Rogg gave a charming smile, “may I ask, why are you so dressed up today?”

You almost choked on air and gripped tightly the table. “Um I was just going for a walk.”

Yon-Rogg looks below the table and sees your high heels, “in those?”

You changed your composure quickly, knowing you sounded dumb. You tried to show more of your physique. Displaying your breasts and popping out your butt. You puffed your lips out more and nodded, “yeah these shoes help tone the legs real nice for you, you tough man.”

You were losing control of yourself. You were trying to flirt but it was not working, flirting was not in your DNA. Yon-Rogg gave a look of curious.

“Are you alright?” Yon-Rogg asked very worried.

You touched your head and only winced lightly, “yeah I’m fine...baby.” You tried to bite his pen sexy but you ended up gnawing it leaving a dent.

You were just done. You were embarrassing yourself and you could tell by Yon-Rogg’s face that he was weirded out as well.

“I’m sorry this was a mistake.” You tried to stand up quickly but wearing your heels made you trip and fall into Yon-Rogg’s arms. He was there to catch you. You held onto his biceps for support and looked up to be so close to his handsome face.

“H-hi there,” you stuttered as you were so bashful at the moment.

“Tell me the truth y/n. Why did you dress up like this tonight?”

“Fine, I wanted to impress you. Well not only that, there is like a long list so you might be here for a while its just, I like you a lot Comm- gosh sorry I keep doing that I mean Yon-Rogg. I like you a lot but not as in a way of friends or like wow you are my leader I like you a lot even though yes thats true I just don’t like you as a friend, I mean I do but-” You took a huge breath and calmed your nerves. “Let me start over. I want to see if you would like to go on a date, that offer still stands but I knew you probably did not like the other me. The less glamorous me. I mean you have made such an impact on not just me but to all of Kree. How could someone like that date someone like me? I just wanted to be better for you, but I ruined it.” You looked down ashamed and disappointed with yourself.

Yon-Rogg was silent but lifted your face with his forefinger and thumb. “None of those things you said about yourself is true. You did not have to do anything to prove your worth to me. Don’t get me wrong I love this look but I also love who you really are. You are more than what you think. I ask myself how could someone so beautiful, so daring, so amazing go out with a guy so serious and who keeps his emotions hidden. I tried to do that with you y/n, but you are truly something else. I can’t keep what I feel for you hidden anymore. I love you y/n. I truly mean that, and you don’t have to show me you are capable of great things I can already see it when I look at you.”

You crashed your lips against his and laced your fingers into his hair. “Thank you Yon-Rogg.”

“Never gets old.”

You two were about to walk side by side together as now a couple when he stopped you. “Before we move any further can we please get rid of these wretched shoes. I mean they are sexy on you but these guys are a bit rough.”

You let go of the breath you were holding in, “oh my gosh yes please I thought you would never say that.” You took your shoes off and held them in your hand.

“But I do like this on you,” Yon-Rogg said about your outfit, feeling over the material and tracing his hands on your butt. “Can you wear this more often please?”

You laughed as you walked hand in hand with him, “I don’t know, I have to think about it.”

“Oh you naughty girl, I see you like to play dirty. Fine two can play that game.”
