16. what’s their favourite “domestic bliss” moment? do they cook/clean together? do they like to go out shopping together?

well, since one of them has an ego the size of jupiter and thinks he alone knows how to do everything correctly, and the other one has a martyr complex, i think we all know that voldemort assumes responsibility for all the domestic labour in that house.

do i think he's great at it? no. my preferred headcanon is that voldemort - much to the sorrow of many of the posher death eaters - has somewhat plebeian tastes in food etc.

and post-war harry's really into experimental cuisine, but voldemort's cooking has a touch of the ration book about it. harry suffers through, since he thinks that brutalising vegetables is better than brutalising people. a far better legilimens than harry is an occlumens, voldemort is well aware of this. he thinks it's funny to keep trying to push harry over the edge with overboiled potatoes.

he may also think it's a little bit sweet. after all, he's always been fond of devotion.

all of which is to say, on shrove tuesday the one stood with a crepe pan and a little apron - turanga, please, the dark lord does not know what a waffle is, he's british - is lord voldemort. decide for yourself if i mean the version with or without a nose.

8. Unpopular opinion about them

I hate when they're all mushy and shit, like when it seems like people takes their personality out just to write a fluff story, I feel like you can still write fluff of them while still keeping the things that are integral to their personalities.

19. Vices/bad habits

Def drinking and smoking, gonna add coke here cuz they give me a lot of rich boys who do hard drugs to escape their parents vibes. Barty uses sex to escape his own mind while Evan absuses other substances lol. Barty probably chews his nails off and is trigger happy he shoots first ask questions later. Evan has a knife to someone's throat the minute they piss him off. They have the bad habit of provoking each other to see how far they can take it, usually ends up on them hurting people and shagging hehe. They def graffited everyone's house, school and church, Evan likes writing satanic shit while Barty just draws a dick. (could go on for hours but this feels like it's way too long already lol)

9. Scene that first made me love (or hate) the character

I first read him on ATYD and honestly already found him interesting there as the obssessed pyromanic twitchy friend of Reg's but only started loving him on just lovers even though my favourite fics of him are the one's where he's written as an asshole/antagonist or reg's toxic ex lol he always steals the show for me.

hey, hi, hello! are you guys kidding me - 3000 followers(& still rapidly climbing)?! that is literally insane & i still can’t get my mind around it. i’ve gained nearly 500+ followers alone in the last few days which is amazing, don’t get me wrong, but it’s just mindblowing.

Harry refused to buy a house with a cupboard under the stairs, and he bought a bigger house than he needed, because a part of him wanted to have rooms available in case Ron & Hermione ever decided to move in with him (with their kids); he was hoping to have a multi-family home, but he never actually told them that.

❤️ - family headcanon

Harry didn't spoil his kids (because he didn't want them to be like Dudley), but he also never made them do any chores (because of his own trauma of essentially being a slave to the Dursleys).

part. 2 of percy's headcanons. bc we all need this. (here is part. 1 btw) - i think that's kinda fem!reader but imagine it in the way you prefer :)

• percy would completely love "the catcher in the rye" by j.d. salinger. doesn't matter if you like it or not or think it's overated, he would see a lot of himself on holden

• he cooks for you. and he's SO hot doing it. he sees this recipe videos on tiktok and wants to try it with you.... he goes all "hey, babe taste it, taste it!!!!" while wearing an apron with "kiss the chef" written on it

• btw, when you're just sitting waiting for him to end up his fun so you two can finally eat, he just stands on your side and points to his apron. he's not getting back to the kitchen until you kiss him.

• all that doesn't matter, bc he's actually a wonderfull cook

• we all know that but let's just reinforce: he will ask you to paint your nails blue. you will show him all the blue shades of nail polish you have, and he will carefully choose his favorite

• he is a huge fan of childish gambino and tyler, the creator. kanye west too but he feels kinda guilty bc he's actually not into the nazi thing soooo

• okay. he likes taylor swift. in a way that just a boyfriend could. in a way that he will sing to it on his car and record it to you so you can be proud of his musical taste

• i feel he's kinda of an anime guy. his favorite is probably one piece (yes, he did watched the whole thing)

• percy is very nerdy actually. he loves star wars, harry potter (btw i really can't decide which one of the four houses he is in), avatar (ofc obsessed with the water one) and so many video games. this ones i will not be able to exemplify cause i don't really know any but percy would !!!!

• he will come up with a nickname for your name (even if it seems impossible) that only he uses because he wants to be unique

• eye contact king. like, he's gonna staring at you to death. he knows what he does with you and he absolutely loves it.

• smirk king too. put the eye contact and smirk together and you have a beautiful percy-checking-you-out-scene in any outfit, even the simple ones, just because he wants to see you blush. how i said: he knows.

1. what are their love languages?

lord "what do you mean i'm like a magpie" voldemort's love language is gift-giving. harry manages to adjust to constantly being handed interesting leaves and rocks, although he draws the line at human remains. he's less good at gift-giving in return - hermione is enlisted to tell him what to do [which, she would like me to point out, is classic male entitlement to women's emotional labour], which harry sees as a net positive in that it forces voldemort to be nice to her.

harry "what do you mean i have a saving people thing" potter's love language is acts of service, by which i mean shouldering the colossal fallout when it emerges that he's sleeping with the dark lord - including suffering through a series of interviews with rita skeeter about how he definitely doesn't think it's ridiculous for him to be insisting that voldemort is capable of behaving himself for the rest of time as harry's malewife.

lord voldemort thinks harry's desperation to save the world is tedious. he does, however, think that he alone knows how to do everything properly, and ends up offering harry lots of what turns out to be very useful support [although, naturally, he considers it to be nothing of the sort] in his crusade.

4. what’s their favourite sleeping/cuddling position?

the living, breathing definitions of childhood trauma, they both sleep curled tightly into separate balls on their respective sides of the bed. harry talks in his sleep about his dead parents, voldemort sucks his thumb, they mutually agree never, ever to mention these things.

24. what are their favourite places to kiss on their partner(s)? what are their favourite types of kisses?

Harry comes running into your room, soaked with both rain water and agitation. His broom is immediately tossed to the side and you can’t help but be concerned— you have a feeling you know what this is going to be about, and it’s not the first time.

“Harry?”

“So sick of it! I only try to help, you know? To make things better and no one ever gives a fuck! No gratitude or even kindness, after everything I’ve done.” Your face softens as he inches towards you, even being careful not to get your bed wet with his clothing.

“They’re still mad at you for losing the game? Are you serious?” You’re completely furious. Harry’s had the world on his shoulders since forever and his entire life is a tragedy. He can’t even play a school sport without being reamed for something that’s hardly his fault.

Peeling his jersey off, he crawls into your side and waits for your affection; the only thing he can count on when the world isn’t on his side.

“I tried to fix things, you know? Told Fletcher I was sorry but they’re still pissed, calling me a freak and saying all this crap about Voldemort.” You shush him and cradle his face in your arms. Your heart is breaking because how could anyone treat your baby brother like this, how could anyone see him as something less than precious?

His eyes shimmer but not with the sparkle of joy. They’re teary. “Fuck ‘em all. They’ll come around, Harry. They do eventually.”

It’s not fair what they do to him. He’ll mess something up and half the time it’s out of his control, and suddenly he’s public enemy number one. You’re usually there to help, and so are his friends like Hermione and Ron, but it can’t always be like this.

He’s okay after a while. You amp up the jokes and ruffle his hair and he’s okay. He has dinner with his group and you with yours. It’s a nice evening and all you can do is hope he’s forgetting everything wrong with the world. It seems like he is, because he’s tossing peanuts in the air and catching them in his mouth while Ron is laughing hysterically and Hermione is resting her hand on a judgemental expression.

“Oi, Weasley!” you say, and Fred whips his head towards you. “I’ve got something to ask. A favour.”

He perks up. You were asking him for a favour. He’s been waiting for his in since forever, but he wouldn’t let you know that. “Yeah?” he replies, taking a sip of pumpkin juice.

A quick breath escapes your lips as you lean on him, lashes fluttering and a little grin settled on your face. He can look at you trying to be all persuasive without blushing. He’s stronger than this.

“How about.. you and George look after Harry? I’ve been worried about him, with the whole dementor thing. And after what happened last game, I can’t just sit from the stands and watch him get injured again knowing I didn’t do anything about it. Everyone’s pissed at him.”

Fred softens. His mind races, trying to come up with the cons of the request. He comes up empty. This was an excuse to talk to you more and, well, he already quite liked Harry, so that was no issue. And with your convincing doe eyes, how could he refuse?

He’s taking too long to respond and he knows it, but he can’t stop staring at your pretty face. You clear your throat, prodding for an answer. “Huh? Oh, yeah. The lad’s gonna be in good hands, m’lady,” he winks.

The roll of your eyes makes him smile. “Better make sure of it, Weasley.”

And to shut you up, he shoves a grape between your lips and you smack him across the arm.

From then on, Fred and George made sure no one got in Harry’s way. Someone messed with him, they messed with them. The twins were 190 and a half centimetres of beater strength and poking the bear was on no one’s to-do list, so Harry was pretty much set. Well, not entirely.

All Harry really wants to do is sit down and catch up on the pile of homework he’s missed for Chosen One duties, but some people take that as being haughty.

“Potter. You and your godforesaken hero complex. You think you’re untouchable? What’ll happen if I sock you in the face, huh? You think magic will—“

“Fuck around and find out.”

Finnick Lewis turns around. He immediately backtracks. “Hey, listen, man, I don’t want any trouble.” Fred didn’t miss the nasty glare that Lewis sent Harry on his way out. He’d take care of that one later.

The boy doesn’t really know what’s just happened or why, but he’ll take whatever he can get and he’ll be grateful for it. He mumbles out a thank you before scrambling to his room.

You’d seen Fred’s effort in protecting your brother. He’d done a damn good job at it too, because Harry hadn’t complained much about students in weeks. You’re glad you at least took that load off his shoulders.

“Tell you what, Weasley,” you say nonchalantly, unwrapping a chocolate.

He hums. It’s a lazy Sunday afternoon and he’s trying to finish up an essay. Lupin likes him just fine, but he’s definitely a tough grader.

“If you can make sure Harry’s perfectly uninjured after the next game, I’ll give you a kiss.”

Who cares about Lupin? Fred looks up at you instantly, suddenly feeling the velvet of the chair on his skin. “I’ll totally bite. How many seconds?”

You snort. “The kiss?” He nods. “3 seconds. 5 if I’m feeling generous.”

The essay is forgotten just like that.

The man moved the moon and sun to ensure Harry’s safety on his watch. Lewis and Fletcher had their tails between their legs after a few careful threats and actions to back them up, and Harry felt good. Safe. That’s all that mattered.

Monday arrives and the Quidditch stands are a sea of red and green with Gryffindor particularly antsy as Harry zooms around the pitch, Golden Snitch right within his view but not quite arms reach.

“Potter’s got his eye on the prize! I’ve got mine on too, Johnson looks impeccable in robes, I’ll tell you that much— Sorry, Professor.”

Fred’s holding his own, watching out for any foul play from the Slytherin Seeker whilst batting Bludgers. George is at his side, throwing them out and scoring right into Flint’s stomach.

“Wonderful play from Weasley! Not quite sure which one, but great nonetheless,” Lee says through the megaphone.

Fred’s just about to hit a Bludger into the opposing Keeper’s side, but he spots Harry in the corner of his eye being tailed by Higgs and there’s a nasty Slytherin Bludger coming right for him and he’s flying there immediately.

Harry’s so pumped with adrenaline and focus on the Snitch, he doesn’t even notice the ball coming straight to his nose. Godric knows that would leave a mark. Fred comes up and bats it away, nearly falling off his broom.

You’re watching from the stands in admiration and excitement and Fred can’t help but find you in the crowd. He sends you a wink from the pitch and a girl beside you seems to think it’s for her. You let it happen. You know who it belonged to.

Gryffindor emerges victorious, winning by two points and Harry’s crowd surfing, a big smile on his face as students chant his name. He doesn’t know how long the fame will last, but he doesn’t really care.

“You did good, Weasley,” you admit as Fred comes up beside you.

“Think I deserve my kiss now?”

In typical you fashion, you roll your eyes and pull him towards your face.

He thinks the kiss will be haste, but you melt into his lips and he does the very same. His arms snake around your waist and bring you impossibly closer and you relish in it. It’s embarrassing how much you’re grinning, but you can feel his smile too.

Catching your breath, “That was like 30 seconds. Now you gotta help Harry with his homework.”

biological children

•harry wasn’t sure if he wanted kids. he hadn’t had the best examples of parenting, he was never around young children or babies

•but when you came to him, pregnant, it felt like (almost) all of his worries fizzled. they weren’t as important as you, and the child you’d created together

•he visited his parents’ graves when he found out. to say hi, to ask for advice, to maybe just tell them they were going to be grandparents

•goes to see andromeda tonks too, where she’s raising teddy lupin. realises how much this child is something he wants

•when the time comes, he’s an amazing father

•splits responsibilities with you, never lets you end up doing everything

•has such a bond with his kid, and it’s not long before he’s tentatively bringing up the subject of more

•toys everywhere, he’s not a must-be-tidy-at-all-times dad. we’re talking magical train sets, muggle rubber ducks, doll houses, push cars, everything he passes in a shop somewhere

•naturally such a girl dad, but he is so happy with a little boy too. anything he can love

•makes such a big deal out of birthdays, really goes overboard

•raised around so many cousins and friends, massive family times, so many game nights gone wrong

•sincerely apologizing for the attention being a potter will bring his family, but they don’t really mind. at least he’s famous for a good thing

•as they get older, and they’re off to hogwarts, of course he’s missing them. he doesn’t want to stifle them, but the letters are twice a week, at least

•and your kids were raised well, with love, so they have no problem writing back to them all, and they know their home is always a safe place

•harry sleeps well at night knowing he created the home he wanted

•will cry at their weddings, if they happen

adopted children

•three scenarios — you’ve had a biological child, you want more, and for whatever reason that is, you two decide to adopt (harry’s fully supportive of this)

•or, for whatever personal reasons, you can’t or don’t want a biological child (harry’s fully supportive of this)

•or, not long after the war, the wizarding world is still overrun with orphans. there are leaflets everywhere begging couples to adopt. you wanted to expand your family as it was, and harry’s worries were overcome both by his previously mentioned visits, and his desire to not let voldemort ruin the lives of any more children

•whatever it is, he loves them like his own. because they are his own.

•all the prior headcanons, because nothing changes for either of you. your family may not be nuclear, but why should it have to be?

•if anyone pokes fun at their adoption, you best believe harry is up there like a flash to get someone seriously scolded, and you aren’t far behind him

•when the time comes to tell your kids, harry is perfect with it. he knows what to say. you don’t leave it too long either, harry knows what it is to feel lied to about your family

•if any relationships struggle around that time, the strain is physically clear on harry. but he waits for them to be ready, knowing how personal it is

in conclusion

•in any situation, harry loves his children

•he’s a good dad. nobody is perfect, he’ll maks mistakes, but not with the gravity of the one’s he feared

Is absolutely enamored by you and he had no idea how to talk to you at first without becoming an awkward mess. When you first met him Scott literally had to pull him away from you because he just kept on staring at you

Helps you with homework and school projects because it gives him an excuse to spend time with you and he also gets to show off how smart he is

You are the only person he shares his food with

He forces you to binge-watch Star Wars with him, and if he finds out you already liked Star Wars he's ecstatic

He is a Percy Jackson reader and prefers it over Harry Potter!!!!!!!

Is always late to dates because of his time blindness but he tries hard to make it on time!

Tells you about his ongoing cases and theories and encourages you to put your input in and is extremely proud whenever one of your theories turns out to be correct

Noah of course has his reservations at first since he obviously worries about his son, but once he sees you two together he instantly loves you

You become a part of the pack almost instantly

Lydia, Malia, and Addison (depending on the season) instantly take you in. You best believe you are invited to all of the sleepovers and shopping trips

Literally, everyone has no idea how Stiles managed to bag you. Stiles has no idea either

He gets you a matching metal bat so you can protect yourself

Is wary of taking you along on cases because he worries you might get hurt. He especially worries after what happened with Void

Is the little spoon most of the time because he loves being held. He feels so safe whenever he is in your arms. With you he finally doesn't wake up every night from nightmares

He has a lot of deeply rooted trauma from losing his mom, and from everything that has happened to him since sophomore year

Will talk about random nonsense and then stop in the middle of the conversation because he notices you are actually listening to him instead of just ignoring him like other people do and he swears he falls in love with you all over again 🥹

Has panic attacks, and you are one of the few people who can instantly calm him down by just being near him

Loves talking to you about his mother. He even takes you to her grave and introduces you to her

Later he finds out that you go to her grave weekly and put flowers there and when he asks you why you do that you just say 'Because you love her and that means I love her too' and he sobs.

Noah also finds that out and he instantly knows that you are the one for his son. He is proud to call you his future child in-law

Loves PDA and has no problem holding your hand, or kissing you in public

He always needs to be touching you in some sort of way even if it's just holding your hand or resting his hand on your thigh

You are so supportive of his want to be in the FBI! He loves knowing that you'll always be cheering him on

You go to every single lacrosse game and cheer him on even if he doesn't get put in you are still yelling his name and cheering for him

You wear his jersey number all the time and he secretly loves it
