I find it equal measures annoying and hilarious when people characterize Keith as a honorable fighter. Like, no. He fights dirty, you guys remember when he took that king hostage in like season 1 right?

Also the notion of honorable fighting, especially in a close combat situation is so stupid to me, the point of a fight is to get out alive and as unharmed as possible. There is no honor in that. It’s messy and fast and holds no punches.

He probably bites and scratches, pulls hair and goes for the jugular if it will keep him alive. He’s not some fictional knight, he’s a desperate kid.

I've hc Max as heavily double jointed/flexible for yrs bc of how he fits in Gwen's literal desk drawer and the fact he loves hiding behind people too just getting into tight spaces doesn't seem like something he'd want to give up as he gets older so the gymnastics hobbie is a W!!!

Randy was cut off once again as Billy spoke up and wrinkled his nose in disgust at the taller male. “You really stripped the clothes off of dolls just to investigate when you were a kid?”

• There is so much I could say about Billy Boy here..

• If you are the kind of person who loves that shitty trending pop music, you are probably better off hanging out with Stu for the day. Because Billy HATES it.

• He’s not particularly into heavy metal, i’d say more grunge. Stu bullies him for it but gets an ass whooping later so, eh.

• If he gets woken up in the middle of the night, he’s one cranky fucker about it. This man prioritises his sleep. He almost broke the cable to the house phone after Stu kept calling him one night, complaining on how he couldn’t sleep and that he wanted to go somewhere. After Billy not being able to get back into dreamland, he gave in. Pretty sure Stu ended up choosing the McDonald’s drive thru, much to Billy’s annoyance.

(That shit happens way too often but hey, who doesn’t like late night drives?)

• Billy wants a piercing but at the same time, he doesn’t? He’s not sure if he can really commit to it or not, but he does think people with piercings are cool!

• Plus his Dad would probably kick him out over something as stupid as that. Billy would just tell him to get bent either way lol.

little habits the karasuno boys have - third years

daichi: runs his hands through his hair when he’s stressed out. cracks his knuckles. does a silly little dance if no one is around on the platform while he’s waiting for his train in the morning/after school. carries cough drops and pain killers in his backpack just in case of emergencies. belts out his favorite songs in the shower, much to the chagrin of his parents & anyone else who lives with him. fills in bubbles on multiple-choice tests completely instead of just circling or crossing through them. writes down little to-do lists on index cards instead of keeping an actual planner. has a ton of journals that he never writes in & buys more anyways. plays made-up games in his head involving nature (like which raindrop will slide down the window faster).

sugawara: daydreams while listening to music, thinking about the choreography of a music video he’s the star of. stress-bakes. people watches. drums his fingers across the wood of his desk in the brief moments where he’s not paying attention in class. blows on any liquid that he’s drinking, even if it’s cold (he’s too used to drinking piping-hot tea & coffee, and he’s been teased by the other boys for blowing on a cold glass of milk once). always has a bookmark on him so he doesn’t have to dog-ear books. picks up nail polish every so often from the drug store so he can start trying it out after he’s done being a setter.

asahi: scribbles down shops that he sees on the street with display clothes that he likes in a little notebook that he carries with him. takes pictures of everyday items and sights to keep a record of his days & where he went. always picks the same cat to hang out with at a cat café he frequents to the point where some of the employees question whether or not to just let the man adopt the cat. doodles designs in the margins of his notes (and sometimes the teacher comments on them, which always manages to fluster him). collects stamps and stickers. writes letters that he never sends to his friends & keeps them in a special box. chews on disposable straws until they can’t actually do their job.

I'm so sorry for spam posting about Lokius. It will happen again.

Anyways, I wanna talk about how the fell first x fell harder thing works with them, in my personal opinion.

Let's get it out of the way: Mobius fell first, Loki fell harder. I think most of the fandom agrees with this.

Mobius studied Loki's life. He's seen all the bad and even downright unforgivable things Loki is capable of.

But he's also seen Loki interacting with his family and the people of Asgard, how he never seemed to fit in, how there always seemed to exist an emotional wall between him and pretty much everyone that wasn't Frigga. He's seen vulnerable moments other people in Loki's life can only dream of knowing about.

As I said, something Mobius definitely noticed is the big emotional wall that exists between Loki and other people.

So the first thing he does when he gets a chance to talk to Loki is try to break down said wall, and he does that by pressing him with questions and pushing all the buttons possible.

"Do you enjoy hurting people? Do you enjoy killing?"

"I'll kill you."

"What, like you did your mother?"

It's a cruel tactic, and considering Mobius’s personality it's safe to assume he didn’t enjoy doing that, but it's what you're expected to do with prisioners at the TVA, and in this case, it works. Loki opens up, and it makes things easier.

I've seen a lot of people joke about how Mobius studying Loki is basically him having either a hyperfixation or being a fanboy with a little celebrity crush, and... yeah? That's pretty much it?

I mean, come on. Even though it was necessary to understand Loki to work with him, you can’t tell me Mobius wasn't genuinely interested in him too. Even in season one, when things were far from perfect and there was still trust to be built, he seems to think of Loki as fascinating/endearing sometimes, and did nice things for him without expecting anything in return, like giving him the daggers, complimenting him, just overall speaking softly whenever they're talking. He wouldn't do that if he didn’t see Loki as more than a variant he was being forced to work with.

All of this, paired with his reaction to the possibility of Loki having a thing for Sylvie, paints Mobius as the person who fell/noticed his feelings first for me. I personally think he pushed these feelings aside due to a "It would never work" train of thought, even before Sylvie.

As for Loki, while he obviously didn't trust Mobius at first, once they started spending more time together, he seemed to start feeling safe and comfortable around him to a degree that he had not felt with anyone else in a long time. He sleeps peacefully around Mobius, allows himself to be playful, and seems to genuinely appreciate the nice things I mentioned Mobius did for him.

But he's also a very traumatized person who hasn't felt genuinely connected to anyone in a while, so he obviously has no idea what to do with this, and the high stakes he's dealing with obviously don't help. He doesn't have time to sit down and process how he truly feels about this random analyst that just came into his life and flipped it upside down. And even if he had the time, would he even manage to accept he was falling for someone? We're talking about Loki here.

This is where the biggest difference between their situations shines for me: Mobius had a long, boring time to think of Loki before even meeting him in person, and even when they did meet, he was dealing with less shit than Loki. He had time to think about Loki, come to a conclusion about his feelings, and make the conscious choice to not act on them/push them aside.

Loki was thrown on the TVA shortly after the events of Avengers, watched a tape of his entire life play before his very eyes, had to learn everything about the TVA and timelines and then met Sylvie and the other variants. It's not that he didn’t reciprocate, he simply didn’t have time to process his feelings.

Personally, I can see him having a moment of realization at the end of season one, when he realized how desperate he was for Mobius's comfort after being kicked through the door by Sylvie, and when the horror of Mobius not recognizing him set in.

And that's what I mean when I say he "fell harder": it's not that he loves Mobius more, it's that Mobius developed and accepted his feelings slowly, while Loki's feelings hit him like a train at the worst time possible.

🪳🩸Dating Robert Montague Renfield Headcanons I🪳🩸

A/N- I watched Renfield for the second time a few days ago after watching it for the first time back in June and decided to write headcanons for our favorite, beloved character.

So, this is my first time writing character dating headcanons and had this saved up in my drafts for a few months. I’m going to be doing several of these as separate posts so that I don’t go overboard when I write the headcanons out

Also, I’m adding Renfield to my fourth list of character fanfic requests, so be on the lookout for that :)

The two of you met at Assholes Anonymous at the local church one night. Just two complete strangers listening to other people’s problems and how they got here.

You were the same way too. Looking for a place to spill all your fillings out after having a huge falling out with your NOW ex shitty boyfriend. It felt like the floodgates opened up once you began to talk about your fucked up relationship.

Sobbing over everything he’s done to you for the past few years you were together. Everybody sat there including him, listening what you’ve been through with a fucking low life like your ex.

After the meeting, he came up to you at the refreshments table to see how you were doing. Your eyes were very red and puffy from all the crying, he felt very bad for you. He took out his handkerchief and wiped away stray tears that were left on your cheeks.

He was so kind to you, the two of you started to talk with one another.

“I’m Robert Montague Renfield,” he held out his hand. You extended yours and shook his hand gently. “Nice to meet you Robert Montague Renfield, I’m (Y/N) (L/N).” You said with a smile.

The two of you hit it off pretty well. You saw one another again at the next meeting and it was his turn to talk. He talked about his narcissistic boss that always gave him problems at his job and how it was hard for him to work with that type of person.

You felt more bad for him than yourself. Having his boss hound him everyday was harsh enough. That’s when something incredible happened.

After the meeting was over, he came up to you all nervous looking, fiddling with his hands, “(Y/N). Would you like to go get some dinner with me? I know a great place in the square.”

You nodded your head, “yes. I would love to grab a bite to eat, Robert.” He smiled back and both of you locked arms as you walked out the door.

Once the two of you got to the restaurant and seated at your table, you started talking about your lives.

Robert talked about his stressful job and how his boss is making his whole life a living hell. You talked about your very shitty ex boyfriend and basically walked all over you for the past few years.

“Wow. It sounds like we were destined for each other Miss (Y/N),” he said with a smile. “Yeah. I guess we were,” you laughed a bit.

After dinner, Robert offered to walk back with you to your place and you said yes.

You walked hand in hand, as you finally arrived at your apartment door on the third floor.

Before you went to unlock the door, Robert cupped your face with his hands, leaned over, and pressed his lips against yours. They felt soft and sweet on your warm skin.

Once he was done and lifted his head back up, you felt your face blush from the sudden move. Robert’s face turned to a bright pink shade as he laughed a bit.

“I had a great time tonight Robert. Thank you again,” you giggled. “ I did too. Good night (Y/N).” He leaned over again and kissed the top of your head. “Yes. Good night to you too Robert.” Then the two of you waved each other goodbye as Robert walked away and you went into your apartment.

From that night on, a relationship blossomed between the two of you.

Robert took you on all kinds of dates all over the city. Brunches, lunches, dinners, cafes, picnics, movies, a night under the stars, etc.

He really understood you and your feelings. Robert made you feel important more than ever.

Everything was going well, until your ex boyfriend came back. He wanted to have a fresh start and wanted to start over with you. But you saw through him quickly.

When you told him to leave, he grabbed you and held you by your throat against the wall.

“Listen to me you little bitch. You don’t belong to anybody else, but me. You belong to me and me only.” You let out a soft whimper, as tears fell down your face.

Before he could do anything else to you, the door to your apartment burst open and you saw Robert charging straight in towards your ex. He tackled him full force into the kitchen, with his hand letting go of you and dropping you to the floor.

You could hear the crunching of bones and tearing of flesh, as you watched Robert beat him into a bloody pulp and then stopped.

After a few seconds of silence, Robert turned and looked over his shoulder at you. His hands and face were covered with blood splatter. When you looked into his eyes, they weren’t blue. Instead, they were a golden yellow.

You wanted to get up and run out the door, but your legs felt frozen in place. Your soft whimpers turned into cries for help.

Robert quickly dashed towards you and embraced you in a tight hug. “Oh dear God (Y/N). I’m so so sorry you had to watch that.” He said, as he buried his face into your hair and ran his fingers through the strands. You continued to cry as you buried yourself into his soft sweater. Then as your cries soften, Robert cupped your face with both hands as he wiped away the tears with his thumbs.

“But never in my whole life, I’ll ever harm you in any way. I’ll protect you and make sure you’ll be safe. I swear it.” He said, as his eyes changed back to that beautiful blue color. He kissed the top of your head and then kissed your lips in a soft embrace.

So you’ve heard of “Lance talks about Keith and Spanish and Keith has no idea what’s going on” a beloved classic

But I bring you “Keith’s a born and raised Texan, (Texas has one of the highest Spanish speaking populations in the US) who was also partially raised by Adam who spoke Spanish around the house a lot. And so he understands most of what Lance is saying but is to embarrassed to admit he knows that Lance has talked about how soft his hair looked on at least three separate occasions “

These are SO messy and ugly but I need to ramble about them bc the way I've said the egg episode was everybody mirroring their parents and Ered didn't have much of a reaction to her egg breaking bc her parents let her do what she wants and make mistakes and probably give her too much freedom to the point it's actually dependental to her and the way I have so many HCs for her dads (I named them Rolyhn and Bailey) so happy to get sorta angst material for them??

Even Cameron clocked her and has said something like she's a "only child with unrestricted boundaries"

Her fucking up babysitting so bad is so fitting I've been saying for 4ever her ass is NOT maternal or responsible !! In camp cool Kidz she basically said fuck them kids and did not CARE if they were over indulging, was asking them to work with power tools, ect, even manipulating Nikki, ect. She doesn't have a soft spot or particular liking towards kids much younger than her!

Like her dads seem to refer to her as this darling girl who they love so much abundantly and cheesy (and they do!!!!) And Ered isn't embarrassed of them either over it she's proud and chill with them and I imagine that they never get into fights or arguments and Rolyhn is sort of the main disciplinarian in the parenthood as it fits him more but when anybody comes to him with a complaint on Ered's behavior he's just like 'ummm are you suree?? That doesn't sound like her,,'

But BURNING THE HOUSE DOWN!!! is on a different level and I imagine it's like the first time Ered has ever been really scolded scolded?? And it's um...!! Oh boy!!!

Because these are her adoptive parents and she's never let them down before, and we've seen what she does when she's not cool and popular for one afternoon (goes to immediately do a deadly stunt to prove herself) so if course she's trying to compensate so hard and grow up faster now and be responsible so he never does that again??

Despite her age she's!! Sheltered!!!!
