A draft sketch of one of my Nine Dragon Gods. Vegor the Silent, The Dragon God of Nature, Prosperity and Peace. I got a good critique from both of my friends on Discord and discussed suggestions to make Lord Vegor more of his namesake and be turtle based. This will apply with the other five dragon gods that were drawn (except Gongo the Wise as he is fine the way he is and the other two who are still in development).

I just finished this bad boy! I think I did a pretty good job with the half-insect anatomy on this one, but I had already posted some drawings of another half-insect caracter so we can say that I had practiced a bit!

Lore Post: The God of Nature and the Hunt

Time for another fun lore post, this time about another divine spirit. Cernunnos doesn't have an AU currently being written, but I do have one planned for themes in his domain for Invisobang. He's one of the most ubiquitously worshiped Gods too, with regular offerings and zealous devotees throughout the Zone, including the Ghost Zone's Greatest Hunter.

You'll find a simple primer on him under the cut.

The God of the Nature and the Hunt, Cernunnos is primarily worshiped by hunters, workers in animal husbandry, and those who enjoy the Wild Zone. He rules all of the most primal instincts of the world, from hunger and thirst, to self-preservation and killing instinct. Because he rules Nature, his domain also crosses paths with that of Ceris-Óengus in matters of the heart. Though the genderfluid divine spirit rules the higher nature of romance and love, Cernunnos himself rules fecundity and reproduction itself.

Thus, the God rules animal mating, the physical process of reproduction, and desire/lust, while the Ceris duality rules the romantic ideals involving self-sacrifice, dedication/loyalty, or long-term relationships. While his most common worshipers are hunters, when a couple seeks to pray for children or enhance their fertility, it is Cernunnos who receives the prayers.

Additionally, although King Gwrtheyrn rules the Harvest itself and the Queen Aedronā the Weather, the actual ability of fields to yield food is governed by the Horned God. Thus, festivals of fertility and ritual sacrifice to maintain the viability of farmland are his most common acts of worship. Because his domain overlaps with Death as well, both hunters and animal farmers pray to him and Aodh in joint worship when creatures are slaughtered. And although Trade and Travel are controlled by the King, once again Abundance itself is ruled by the Antlered One, and so merchants pray for good returns on investment to Cernunnos and for safe passage of their wares to Gwrtheyrn.

The vastness of his domain makes him one of the commonly daily prayed to deities, with large celebrations held for the sowing of seed every spring to begin the process of renewal in every major country. His association with Hunting, Ending, Fertility/Fecundity, and Animal Instinct made him the primary deity of Kingdom Ĉiamdaŭra.

My gods oc's! Pt.1

I'm still creating some of the Gods but decided to at least introduce the 'main' ones. I'm only creating their children at the moment so I decided to not talk about them right now, so let's start!(I won't talk about their past at the moment as it's not finished so at least please accept what I did at the moment 🙏.) And also feel free to ask questions about them if you want to!

There are six main Gods and there are six kingdoms that believes in each of them and their offsprings. The first one is the Wind King, he's the God of Wind, he's Sofia, grandfather, Sofia is a Demi-goddess as her mother is Wind King daughter who is a Goddess of Harvest. People who come from the Wind Kingdom believes in Wind King and his offsprings and also his grandchildren.

Appearance:

Wind King is very tall as he's a giant height, he usually have his hair in a small ponytail or in other styles as he let, sometimes, his children, Sun Queen II or one of the Jinx's or anyone in particular, make small braids in his hair. His eyes are totally white, they don't have any pupils in them but that's doesn't mean he's blind (I used to made their designs in gacha club at first, I'm sorry) as he can see, they're just white. He have a white skin, he's always dressed in an armour that have little wings as a decoration, he have his helberd with him as he's weapon, he doesn't have any footwear at all.

Personality:

Wind King is a very caring god, who cares about everyone, even if he don't know someone very well, he still cares about that person no matter what. He loves his child even if they're not always good *cough* Dante *cough* but he still loves them to death, besides his first child, Ivy, as he feels disappointed in himself and guilty about a certain accident that has happened (but I will talk about it later, if I don't forget.) He always listen to whatever you say, he sometimes may looks like he doesn't listen but he does, he do all the time, he knows every secret, he may listen all the time but he don't look all the time.

The second one is Fire King, he's the God of Fire and War, he's Eloise grandfather, he have many daughters but that doesn't he doesn't like his sons or his genderless children, he loves them no matter. He comes from the Fire Kingdom.

Appearance:

Fire King wear a red cape, no shirt as he have a black coat with no sleeves that reveals his chest, red baggy pants and no footwear. As I mentioned in Wind King appearance, Fire King is also the same height as Wind King. His hair are short and fluffy, sometimes they're in small braids as he let his children, mostly Esh, braid his hair. He usually don't have any weapon with him because he can use fire to make a weapon for him but from time to time he might have a weapon with him.

Personality:

Fire King is a fearless god, who doesn't care about consequences of his actions, but if I cames to his children then he will make sure that they won't be very affected by his actions, both mentally and physically. His a serious god who doesn't take shit form anyone, he's strict when it cames to certain things, like fighting or training, he makes sure that all, and I mean ALL, of his children know how to fight or at least how to defend themselves. He cares for his children in his own way, and shows them respect and affection also in his own way, his aware of his daughter, Boo, being very emotional and sensitive in certain situations and topics, so he tries to comfort her or at least gives her something or do something to take her mind off what had cause her to be sad or cry.

The third God is Nature King, he's a God of Nature, he have a wife, Gemma, she's the Goddess of Earth and is also known as the Mother Earth and Nature King is also known to be a Nature Father. He comes from the Nature Kingdom

Appearance:

Nature King wears a flower crown on his left eye since after a certain accident has happened to him when he was a child. He also wears some leafs in his hair, he, similar to Fire King, wears a cape, a green one, covered in leafs and flowers, he's too also a giant height. He wears a green coat, white blouse under it, white baggy pants and no footwear, since he likes to feel the grass while walking on it and he also always have a rose with him.

Personality:

Nature King is a very, nice, kind and caring god who loves nature. He's a caring and protective husband when it comes to his wife, he doesn't like seeing the ones he loves being hurt or overworked, he might use vines to make them sit or lay down, if they are protesting, he's not going to let them go continuing their work without a proper break. He listens, a lot, but doesn't remember a lot from conversations he had before, he's quite forgetful about some things but always remember important events or date's.

okay. listen. if you ever find yourself falling into a new ideological circle, pay attention. if you notice that you’re among people who define themselves as part of an “in-group” with a pre-prepared human “enemy” to constantly rail against—if everyone fantasizes about the mental state of these loathsome monsters, if they participate in witch hunts or (perhaps worse) poke bears and court harassment on purpose to comfort each other over—get the fuck out. you haven’t been enlightened to some grand conspiracy, there are no evil “enemies” or “degenerates” trying to rip apart the fabric of society, and you do not have the moral duty to “enlighten” anyone to whatever you think the “truth” is. it’s neither safe nor normal to spend hours of your day fighting with strangers on the internet

a lot of people wear this shit like a badge of honor, but it’s also not normal to hide your “in-group” status as a form of martyrdom, relishing when the “enemy” slips up around you. it’s comforting in the moment, but in the long run, you’re alienating yourself from the world outside of your bubble. the more you alienate yourself, the more vulnerable and lonely you become, and the harder it is to reject the comfort of belonging to the “in-group”

i’m writing this from the perspective of someone who grew up in a cesspool of awful, cult-like rural churches—which is its own situation—but i see similar shit happening in online communities all the time, both within and 800 miles outside of my own ideological principles. yes, every toxicass radfem i block seems to be trapped in a version of this vicious cycle, but i also see it happening in random queer circles and niche fandom communities. no one is immune, not even me. i’ve watched people fall into this shit and never make it out. be careful

#some ideologies come pre-baked with this nonsense #because they naturally revolve around an in-group and an out-group #but i swear to god people will start acting like this over fucking #anime shipping wars #which probably seems harmless to most people #but those communities skew very young #and i have no doubt that it can be psychologically damaging #no matter how inconsequential it seems to my jaded 26 year old brain #me when i make a post
