Hi, Italian house person here, I realise in hindsight, that that message was needlessly aggressive and I'm truly sorry for that. I think I was just shocked to see something like that from a blog that I've followed and held in high regard for quite some time. I mean it's not like cottagecore doesn't have a problem with people who do basically exactly what you outlined there. But yeah. I could have pointed that out without being mean about it. Oh hi, don’t worry I was just very taken aback cus I thought we all would think about how we could live there together and make things and live of the land etc. I don’t think u were that aggressive really, but thank you! I appreciate you saying this a lot! I should’ve maybe worded it differently. For me it was all about the escapism and wanting to daydream about the possibilities of such a beautiful place! And then I saw how I was “obnoxious” and then I read ur comment and I didn’t understand it all at first and yeah was very taken aback. I didn’t see “colonialism” in what I wrote but I can see how you might’ve gotten those vibes eventho it couldn’t be further from my actual point. ….. I meant it as “how amazing would it be if we could live in a place like this” that’s all. I truly - genuinely - meant no disrespect! It was never about the price. I think it’s expensive but in my dreams I can afford it . I want to be allowed to dream
