The first DVD release of Cinematic Titanic occured at midnight on December 21, 2007 at midnight. Cinematic Titanic was created by Mystery Science Theater 3000 creator Joel Hodgson. The project allowed him to continue to riff movies with MST3K alumni Trace Beaulieu, Frank Coniff, Mary Jo Pehl, and J Elvis Weinstein (all of whom protrayed the Mads on MST3K). Besides the produced shows, they also started doing a live touring show where they riffed movies live. The first release was of the Oozing Skull (aka The Brain of Blood). Just gonna put this one next to The Terror and The Erebus entries under "Nominative Determinism"
One of the most disturbing scene in the entire MCU
The music full of tension, with those choral songs.
The sadistic expression of Miss Minutes.
The pure horror and desperation on Brad's face, that he can't even look at it.
The screams that suddently stop, replaced by the sound of dripping blood.
Quoting a Titanic survivor: the most haunting part after the sinking was the dead silence when all the screams of people fell in water stopped, because they were all dead for the freezing temperatures.
sorry. sorry. i just really like it when a beautiful emotionally stunted woman with a reputation for battle prowess falls for a stupid fucking dumbfuck idiot and they share a long overdue dance together. call me simple
If I had a nickel for every time a love story between two characters resulted in a tragic yet bittersweet ending, where Person A tells Person B to live a long, happy life after they're gone and Person B fulfills their promise to Person A—they meet someone else, get married, have children and a family of their own, and they pass away many years later—then at the end of the story they both reunite either in a dream or in the afterlife, I'd have two nickels
which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice
Discovering this gave me chills. After they reach a milestone in their arc, the death clock starts ticking right away (Belos in the mirror still fucks me up):
Just when I thought there couldn't be more parallels, I find more:
