MLB X MCU AU in which Marinette gets revealed as Multimouse to the entire world

Because Alya cant be trusted to be responsible with a camera.

Every-fucking-one knows now. hawkmoth. her PARENTS. Hell even TONY fucking STARK knows she was a hero.

and then her parents make/force her to take Style queens offer to intern in NYC, because, from their perspective she is not safe in paris. and like- the AVENGERS are in new york so surely it must be safe there. so they pack up and move their entire bakery business.

and she ends up going to midtown high-school, where not to her knowledge, fellow teenage superhero Peter parker aka "Your friendly neighborhood SPIDER-MAN" goes to school.

Cute adorable shipping commences.

peter is all like "omg another teenage super hero???!!! like me???? i thought i was the only one???? transferring to MY school?!!! SO COOL!!"

"marinette is super smart, marinette is pretty, she was one of THE Miraculous Ladybug's sidekicks how cool is that??!, marinette is COOL!! maybe we can be friends? how am i gonna talk to someone that cool though?? i cant tell her my secret identity!!!"

(and yo, dont get on my case about marinette being super fucking smart, this is the girl who figured out she was getting a birthday party from just seeing one of her friends holding a bike pump. that girl is a tactical genius! she just has self esteem issues. they are both nerd, their just nerds about differnt things, let the nerds date!!!!)

of course Marinette still has the ladybug miraculous -even tho everyone thinks she doesn't have the rat miraculous anymore- and the miracle box. so she can still fight hawkmoth because the horse is basically fast travel irl, Space miraculous super conveintent.

(also concerning the mirsacle box, im going with my headcanon/Unlucky 13 AU on what that looks like post "ladybug becomes guardain" because that egg thing from canon? fucking lame

It would be canon compliant till season 2 and most? of season 3? but like fuck miracle queen, season3 finale + truth made me stop watching the show. so like in this au, lets just assume Fu is dead, and ladybug has had the miracle box for some time now. and that they got the miraculous when they were 13, and are currently 15? yeah? okay.

(also prolly chat salt, it doesn't HAVE to be chat salt, but like- He. Keeps. Trying. To. Quit. And leave all the work to marinette!!!! its happened like 3?? times now? Marinette CANT quit!!! its literally "do this or lose all your memories!!!" she is being held hostage by a fucking magic box full of responsibilities no 15 year old should have to deal with.)

I headcanon that marinette stress-bakes, so like cute scene number #1 after peter and marinette become friends, could be something like "marientte stresses for a test, and then bakes to much food so her parents make her take it to school to share with her peers, and she ends up giving like- 1/2 of them to parker, becuz of his super high metabolism.

and how marinettes got her whole "i'm RESPONISBLE!!! for the whole fucking universe now, omfg i'm the reason fu is basically dead" angsty shit going on which kinda parallels peters whole "i have super powers, and if i dont do something to help then its my fault if someone gets hurt, like how my uncle died. With great power, comes great RESPONSIBLITY!!!" angst. maybe they could trauma bond. who doesn't like a good hurt comfort trauma bond fic?

marinette likes designing fashionable but also functional clothes.

peter likes designing gadgets and techy things. let them be nerds together!!! in love!!

i feel like they would be the kind of couple/friends to just ramble on about their passions and they would listen to each other even tho they dont know much about each others interests yet. (also hey what if marinette and peter co designed one of peters early suits pre-stark suit??? the fucking writing potential this ship has omfg c'mon ppl!!! why are we sleeping on this??)

oh! and maybe peter figures out that marinette is also ladybug -but later on- cuz like, he has superhearing? and tikki isn't as subtle as she thinks she is.

and then he's all in awe like "Wow holy shit!!! she made her ladybug secret identity FOOLPROOF!!!! no one would ever fucking suspect!! maybe she can help me with mine???"

Fox miraculous shenanaigans insue????? The daily Bugles next headline be like: "SPIDER-MAN SAVES SI INTERN PETER PARKER FROM ETC ETC"

( the media thinks Ladybug and Chat are 1000+ years old due to that thing alya found in that museum that one time. and the fact that people know that Thor and Loki are super old.

Ladybug's excuse to the public for letting a teenager, Nay! for letting a THIRTEEN YEAR OLD CHILD use an extremly dangerous magical artifact for a little over 2 years, goes something like this: "Marinette was the ONLY person in france- maybe in the whole world! that was compatible with the Rat miraculous, it takes a very smart person to be able to multitask like that, and marinette has a photographic/phonetic memory."

i headcannon that marinette photographic/phonetic memory, and that the Rat Miraculous is the math miraculous that was mentioned in the comics that one time, and that if an incompatible person were to try and use it they would at BEST develop a severe case of split personality disorder/ or schizophrenia, and at WORST their brain would- just- melt out of their ears. )

Also he calls her "Spots" or "LuckyBug" when shes in hero mode.

(i cant think of cute nicknames for peter, ugh "web head" is just something i cant picture marinette saying. what's the french word for spider? what's the french word for cobwebs??)

I'm requesting a fanfic with this prompt. Don't really care what Fandom, but I'll probably tag most, if not all the ones I'm in in the tags.

I'm sick. And I have been coughing so much, that I'm pretty sure my throat is in shreds.

Anyways, I basically lost my voice, and can now hit whistle notes while talking when my body decides to randomly do that.

I want someone to write a fanfic where the reader or desired character (AMAB, AFAB, male, female, nonbinary, anything really) is sick, and the way the love interest notices is their voice is either lower than it normally is, or it's much higher than it normally is, and it is constantly alternating between the two.

Like, just imagine, talking to the love interest, and your voice just suddenly becomes so high only dogs can hear it, and they're just like O.o

Beacon Hills

Stiles Stilinski, the human best friend of Scott McCall and token human of the McCall-Hale Pack, sat in his bedroom bored out of his mind because true Alpha McCall had forbidden him from attending the most recent pack meeting, despite the fact that he was the reason Erica and Boyd returned to the pack and the fact that he’s the only reason Scott McCall even learned control.

Stiles’ phone lit up and ZZ Top’s “Sharp Dressed Man” poured from his phone’s speakers, which caused Stiles’ face to break out in a smile. He answered the phone, a video call, and waved at his uncle. “Hi, Uncle Phil. What’s up?”

Stiles’ uncle, Phil Coulson, smiled at his nephew. “Hey Mischief.” Stiles watched his uncle relax into his favourite spot on his couch. “Not much just wanted to call and talk to my favourite mischief-maker. Where’s Scott?”

Stiles gasped and clutched his chest. “You wound me, Uncle Phil.” Stiles felt his smile fall and glanced away from his phone momentarily. “Scotty’s got a girlfriend now. Doesn’t really have time to hang out anymore.”

“Mischief. Is something wrong?” Uncle Phil always knew when something was wrong, and sometimes Stiles hated that about his uncle.

“No, not really, I mean, Uncle Phil? Things are getting to be a bit much here. Could I come and stay with you for a while?” Stiles refused to look his Uncle Phil in the face. He couldn’t tell Uncle Phil that things had changed with his dad, that things had taken a turn for the worse and that Dad had started drinking again. He couldn’t tell Uncle Phil that Dad had started taking his anger out on him. He couldn’t-

“Mischief, you don’t have to ask. I will have to arrange some things with… work. But you can come and stay for however long you need. I love you Mischief.”

Paris

Marinette stared at her computer screen, hating that her eyes were her mother’s and not her father’s, when her Skype sprung to life. She let a small smile spread across her face before pressing to accept the call.

Marinette’s father’s face appeared on her screen, he was sitting in his dumb blush pink chair in front of his light gray walls in his home office. “Hey, munchkin.”

“Hey, Dad.” Marinette smiled at her dad, knowing that her hair came from him and not her mom. “How’s Entcle Nat?”

Her dad smiled and shook his hand in the universal expression of “so-so”. “Nat’s good, so is the rest of the team and I’ll make sure to let them know you asked about them.”

Marinette felt her eyes tear up before she attempted to subtly wipe them away. She let out a humorless laugh and shook her head, feeling her hair tumble out of her barely held together ponytail. “Hey, Dad?” Marinette was struck by her realization that her mom and Tom, when had he become Tom, had gone from parents to overworked babysitters who didn’t really care about her wellbeing. “I think I need help.”

Marinette's dad, Clint, looked her in the eye and somehow knew. "Munchkin. Do you wanna come and stay with me for a while?"

Marinette waved her hands through the air to indicate that the offer was not necessary. "Dad. I can't just abandon Paris, my friends are here." She frowned and thought about her friends when an alarm blared and her face fell. “Dad. I gotta- I gotta go. I’ll get back to you about this.” Marinette stood up and partially closed her laptop.

Marinette stood up from her desk and took down her hair. She shook out her hair before looking around. “Tikki?” She stretched her arms over her head and smiled. “Tikki. Spots on.”

Marinette was engulfed in a reddish-pink light and when the light dissipated she was standing in her room in what resembled an aerial acrobat’s costume. Her arms, shoulders, upper chest, and most of her upper back were covered in a neutral gray mesh fabric speckled with little red ladybug spots while the bodice of her suit was red with neutral gray ladybug spots. She had a lilac tutu around her waist, neutral gray tights and lilac pointe shoes with red-violet ribbons with black ladybug spots tied up her legs.

Ladybug rolled her shoulders and sprinted out of her bedroom to go fight the Akuma.

New York

Clint walked out of their home office, a frown on his face, and collapsed against Phil’s side. “Okay, so, you know about my daughter. You know how she lives with her mom and her mom’s husband in Paris. I think my daughter is a hero and she needs help.”

Phil nodded. “So we’re going to have both of our kids living with us for a while. Okay.” Phil wrapped an arm around Clint’s shoulders. “Are we ready to tell them about us?”

Clint shrugged. “I don’t know if we’ll ever be ready. But we need to tear the bandaid off eventually.”

Phil smiled and pressed a kiss to Clint’s forehead. “We’ll just have to set up a group call on Skype later.”

Clint pressed a kiss to Phil’s cheek. “So, like, call back in four hours?”

“Sure.”

Phil, sitting in Clint’s dumb blush pink desk chair, logged into Clint’s Skype as Clint, sitting in Phil’s black desk chair, logged into his Skype. Phil called Clint and Marinette, while Clint called Stiles.

“Who are you and why are you sitting in my dad’s desk chair?” Marinette answered the call before noticing her dad in a very different chair. “Dad?”

“Hey, munchkin.”

“Uncle Phil?”

“Hey, Stiles.” Phil smiled and waved. “So, kiddo, the man on my account is my boyfriend. His name is Clint Barton.”

“Munchkin, the man on my account is my boyfriend, Phil Coulson.” Clint smiled.

The two teens looked at each other and seemed to be sizing each other up. Marinette had long brown hair done up in a messy bun and gray eyes while Stiles had closely shaved brown hair and whiskey brown eyes. Marinette’s gray eyes caught sight of Stiles’ freckles and moles while Stiles’ whiskey brown eyes traveled over Marinette’s face and saw her freckles.

“Hey, Dad? Are you sure you never had any other kids?”

Clint nodded. “Yes. I’ve never had any other kids. Stiles’ mom was Phil’s sister.”

The two teens shared a look before smiling. It seemed like they could get used to having the other pair in their lives.

"Hey, Uncle Phil? It's still cool that I come and stay with you, right?" Stiles sounded hesitant, almost as though he was questioning his welcome.

"Oh Mischief. Of course it's okay for you to come stay with Clint and me. We just wanted to introduce you two over Skype before all four of us were living together in the apartment."

"All four of us?" Marinette sounded from across the ocean. "That means we're both going to-" Marinette was cut off by the opening of the trapdoor into her room.

"Hey Marinette, your mother and I need you to watch the bakery while we make a delivery." Tom's gruff voice grated on Clint's ears, hating how the other man treated his daughter.

"Yeah. Sure. I'll be down in a sec." Marinette pulled out her phone and loaded the app before rejoining the call on her phone.

Clint and Phil exchanged a look before steeling their nerves.

"Hey Munchkin? What would you say about coming to live with me full-time?"

“Dad, I couldn’t possibly,” Marinette slowly made her way down her ladder before focusing on the call again, “I’ve got responsibilities here. I’ve got friends.”

“Munchkin, when we were videoing earlier, you didn’t hang up before closing your laptop.” Clint watched his daughter’s face and saw when it finally dawned on her what he meant.

“You can’t- Dad- You, I, Dad!” Marinette looked panicked before it looked like she forced herself to calm down.

“Munchkin, I love you and I support you. I’m Hawkeye and one of my friends is Tony Stark, aka Iron Man. I’m pretty sure we can find a way to get you back to Paris so you can save the day.” Clint smiled at his daughter, who kept looking between him and his boyfriend, before slowly nodding.

“Okay, Dad.”

“Marinette, if needed I can talk to my boss and arrange for you to meet with him and our team to confirm what Tony sets up,” Phil reassured the girl.

“If nothing else, we’d always be able to give you an alibi if you had to leave quickly to go save Paris.”

It didn’t even take them that long, just a few hypothetical questions and S.H.I.E.L.D. had marked both Clint and Phil as “Temporary Family Leave” so they could move their children in and get them settled. When they told their children, they were ecstatic and immediately started packing up what they would need to move several thousand miles away from the only home they’d ever known and all of their friends. Of course, Phil was going to California and Clint was going to Paris to help their children break the news to their guardians.

Clint was oh so happy to go see his baby girl’s mother. They hadn’t exactly split on good terms, with her yelling in his face that he was worthless and didn’t deserve to see their baby, but Clint could be civil when he needed to be.

Phil on the other hand, there was no love lost between him and his brother-in-law. The two had never gotten along when his late sister was alive and the rift only grew when Claudia had died, leaving Mieczysław alone with just his father. Phil had stopped being civil with the man many moons ago, knowing that the man would fight tooth and nail before he let Phil take Mischief away from Beacon Hills.

The pair of lovers spent one last night together before they had to fly out to get their children. They had always known this could happen, they just never thought they would be getting both of their kids in one fell swoop.

Only time would tell how well the family of four would fit together into their new normal. Only time would tell how quickly the two kids would become each other’s whole world. Only time would tell exactly how much trouble the two kids, technically cousins but siblings in bond, would get into as soon as they were in New York City.

BioDad Steve Rogers | Captain America partie 2

Marinette peu de temps après son arrivée à la tour rencontre tous les Avengers. Elle s'entend avec tout le monde. Tout le monde est entouré autour de son petit doigt. Elle est douce, fait de délicieuses pâtisseries. Certains ont appris qu'ils ne faut pas la provoquer, sinon elle se transforme en un petit monstre. Chaque Avengers s'était rapproché à sa manière de l'enfant.

Tony Stark aime la fille de Steve malgré qu'il n'apprécie pas les enfants. Malgré son jeune âge, elle arrive à le suivre dans ses divagations. Il adore expliquer les termes qu'elle ne connait pas.

Bruce Barner adore la fille, cette dernière aime l'homme non pour le géant vert connu sous le nom de Hulk connu la plupart des enfants de son âge qu'ils aiment mais en même tant craignent. Aussi pour son âge, il a trouve intelligente, et il n'arrive pas à ce site qu'elle arrive à le suivre dans ses explications scientifiques. Cela ne le surprendrait pas si elle est reconnue HPI si elle doit passer un test.

Clint Barton a appris à Marinette à tiré au tir à l'arc et la langue des signes américaines. Il est suprit de la vitesse d'apprentissage de la fille. Aussi, il aime planifier des blagues au reste de l'équipe avec l'enfant qui est ingénieuse. Cette activité à créée une complicité que l'homme ne peut pas expliquer.

Natasha Romanov est ravie d'avoir une autre fille avec elle, même si la fille en question est une enfant. L'espionne adore discuter des sujets féminin en faisant attention tout de même à éviter certains sujets avec ladite fille. Elle l'a emmener voir des ballets. Spontanément Marinette a demandé à l'agent du SHIELD de lui apprendre les bases du ballet et elle m'a même commencé à lui apprendre le russe.

Steve Rogers adore sa fille et il se qualifie de papa poule. Il a pris plusieurs semaines avant de laisser son équipe s'approcher de sa chair et de son sang. Il adore aider sa fille sur ses devoirs d'histoires. Il a hâte qu'elle arrive sur le sujet de la seconde guerre mondiale. Il pourrait tout lui dire sur ce thème. Il admire sa fille pour s'être habituée si vite à son nouvel environnement et sa nouvelle langue.

Marinette Rogers anciennement Dupin-cheng adore sa nouvelle vie. Au début, elle était terrifiée de quitter tout ce qu'elle connaissait et d'oublier ses habitudes. Elle s'épanouit dans cette nouvelle vie. Elle apprend tant de choses plus que dans son ancienne vie et elle peut étaler ses connaissances sans avoir peur des réprimandes par rapport à son ancienne vie. Elle n'a aucun regret d'avoir accepté de rencontrer son père

Requests are open right now, but if you send one in please keep in mind that I might not get to it for a while because I’m currently in school and I’m a slow writer. Casse-Cou (DareDevil x MLB)

Intro

Everyone knows about Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the baker's daughter, and eventual seamstress.

But what if I were to tell you there are other versions of the baker’s daughter that are just as great in other professions? Sometimes she is a dancer, an olympian, or an everyday girl. Countless variations of the same lovely bubbly girl.

The story I want to tell you about is of one version that is a young soon-to-be lawyer. Open rival to French mob Milieu. Both in the courts and behind her black mask. Everyone will come to know the woman without fear. The Cat of the Devil. The DareDevil.

Preface (Chap 1?)

Marinette wasn’t always blind. When she was younger, she could see just as well as any other kid.

Marinette even remembers the day it happened. She remembers it better than she does some colors nowadays.

It was a day like any other for the Dupain-Cheng family. Actually that wasn’t true, it wasn’t a normal day. It was a slow day for the bakery and Tom and Sabine decided to close early and take a young Marinette to a day out to the park.

The family enjoyed their time in the sun during the nice late spring day. From swings to sandcastles, from running through the grass to a small picnic in the park.

It was a great day in her opinion. And looking back, Marinette would say it was a good day to be the last she saw.

A car crash on their way back home changed the fate of the Dupain-Chengs from that day on.

It was almost cartoonish in its execution. Two drivers were not paying attention to the lights and crashed into each other. Causing the truck behind one of them to swerve to avoid slamming into the back of them. The truck struck into a hydrant instead. That hydrant went flying into and ricocheting off a light pole and crashing into the back of a semi-tanker.

That tanker was holding a noxious concoction not safe for humans in any manner of the imagination. When the hydrant hit its side, and pierced it, it caused the toxin within to spill out.

That spillage arced into a horrid rainbow, and stuck the poor young girl in the face.

It flooded her vision, burning its way from the Cornea all the way to the Optic Nerve.

As it did, Marinette cried out in pain while her world went black in more ways than one.

When she woke up, she was told what had happened and how the accident affected her.

The doctors told the family that she would be blind for the rest of her life.

Her parents were shocked, while Marinette was heartbroken.

She ended up crying herself to sleep after that.

She woke up later that night to a percussive beeping. It was so loud that she had to cover her ears.

The beeping was intense even with her hands covering her ears, but after a while the noise became manageable. And once she was able to manage it without flinching she realized something amazing.

She could see! Well, maybe not see but she could make out the outlines of things around her.

To her adolescent mind it was like a coloring book without the colors added.

It didn’t take her long to notice that her other senses were heightened too.

Her face itched from the medical tape covering her eyes. When she brought her hands up to inspect the cloth she found out that she could feel each individual thread. Her sense of touch was so fine tuned that she could feel when there was a missed stitch.

It was all overwhelming to her, with all of her senses overclocked the way they were.

She was close to a panic attack until she smelled something familiar.

The smell came from a small object next to her. It was a small teddy she had brought with her to the park.

It smelled like her parents. It smelled like her home and the bakery. It was so clear to her she nearly forgot she was still at the hospital before she was lulled back to sleep by the small plush comfort.

The next day the doctor told the family what they would need for Marinette’s new life. They did go on to explain that Marinette’s other senses would get stronger to compensate for the lack of sight.

Everyone understood that. The adults understood it was supposed to take time for her body to adjust. The baker’s daughter even use that explanation as to why everything was much MORE than it was before.

But what everyone didn’t know is that horrid concoction may have taken her eyesight but it heightened all her other senses to a superhuman degree. And that it took hold much sooner than what they expected.

Marinette still had to stay a few extra days in the hospital to make sure she didn't get sick from the accident and to make sure the chemical burns around her eyes didn’t get infected.

While she waited to go home she became familiar with her new enhanced senses.

The doctors and nurses noticed but didn’t connect her small requests as anything worth of note.

It was always small things like “Could you stop the beeping? It’s really loud.” talking about the heartbeat monitor, or “Can you change my bandages? They are very scratchy.” Referring to her bandages.

When she left the hospital, she had fresh and silky bandages, a silenced heartbeat monitor, and a room that smelled more like bread than antiseptic.

It took awhile for Marinette to fully bounce back from the whole ordeal.

There were good moments: The local defence attorneys that would frequent the shop took a liking to her and told her all about how they defended other people’s innocents and stood for justice.

The blind girl was always enraptured by their stories, and had a new profession in mind for her future. She asked her parents if she could be a lawyer when she grew up, and even asked if they could get her a law book for a birthday. Even though it was well above her reading level neither parent could deny her with how cutely, and innocently there 6 (maybe 9) year old requested the book.

There were bad moments: The first time she actually shared her new abilities with anyone didn’t end well.

Her friend at the time, Chloe, had been upset about something but was hiding it from everyone. When Marinette asked what was wrong, Chloe did her best to hide the waver in her voice and told her friend she was fine. With how in tune she was, Marinette, easily saw past the lie and asked why her friend was lying. Taken aback Chloe got defensive and angry at being read so easily.

Unfortunately Marinette lost a friend that day. The confrontation helped her understand not everyone would appreciate her new abilities. From then on she kept them a secret that she would never really share with any other human.

It took over a year, almost two, before she was back to anything resembling normal. And her parents were happy to share the day things officially became normal once more.

Even if it wasn’t as celebrated as it was in America when Halloween came around Marinette dressed like ‘Lady Justice.’

Roman style clothes, exaggerated bandages over her eyes, a cane in place of a sword, she even cared around the scales. It was on that holiday that Tom and Sabine celebrated their daughter reaching equilibrium. They took many pictures and shared the day with her.

‘Lady Justice’ is still one of Marinette’s favorite things to dress up for Halloween, and it turned into the family’s favorite holiday.

Later in the year, in the same park that changed her life years before, Marinette found herself trying to find someone that had piqued her interest for a while now.

She couldn’t explain it if you asked but there was something about the elderly man that was THERE where as it wasn’t with other people.

She hadn’t encountered him directly yet. It was always in passing: coming, going, staying in one spot, or leaving. Whatever she was doing he was doing the opposite. And she knew it was him that was giving off that… whatever it was.

It intrigued her and she didn’t know why.

Today was the day that she got the courage to talk to him and ask what his deal was.

It was well timed too. He had just got to the park and sat at a bench to feed the birds.

“May I?” she asked when she got close enough.

“Oh?” he was quiet for a moment, most likely taking in her appearance. Her normal everyday apparel was nothing eye-catching; it was her cane and glasses that got the most attention.

It only took that moment of silence for him to understand her condition before he spoke again, “Of course, young miss.”

He quickly moved over to give her room to sit. Whether it was out of pity or courtesy she could never tell.

She stayed quiet for a while just sitting next to him.

Being this close to him was a bit overwhelming. Whatever it was about the elderly man took a bit to get used to. And once she got over the overwhelming sense she spoke.

“Why do you feel different from everyone else?” She had tilted her head, half facing him, in a way she learned to help people understand she was talking to them, them while keeping an ear out to hear them still.

“I feel different from other people?” He asked. He sounded curious rather than put out by such a strange question.

“Yeah,” She nods. “I don’t know how to describe it, but there is something about you.” She pauses trying to come up with the right words.

“And what would that be?” He genuinely wanted to know.

“It’s like you are in the center of a bubble. I don’t know what to call it other than that.”

She goes on “It feels like a fluffy blanket that came out of the dryer and is all staticy.”

Fu watched the girl try and explain what ever it was about him that she couldn’t understand with a raised brow. He had an idea of what she was talking about but didn’t want to say anything yet. Instead he just watches her try and suss it out.

“Sigh, it feels like…” She huffs, “You are there even if you are standing far away.”

“It feels like you could protect anyone if you wanted to.”

It wasn’t the word Fu was looking for but she practically named the very Kwami he was connected to. (he was looking for her to say magic)

“You are a very smart (may need to change that) girl.” he states.

“And as to why I feel different from other people, that is difficult to explain.”

He looks her over again, “I would like to ask you how you even noticed. Not to sound rude but are you not blind?”

“Most people can’t tell me apart from any other senior citizen, even if I were right in front of them standing on my head.”

She chuckles at that. “Truth is blind and she isn’t fooled by what people want her to see. People say, I am like that a little too.” (change that phrase) It was a catch phrase that the defense attorneys said enough around her that she had picked up.

“That has a very nice turn of phrase to it.” Fu said, thrumming his chin. “What would you say if I told you it was magic?”

She looks at him full on.

Fu can’t help but wonder how she can look like she is judging him without being able to see him.

Marinette tries to find out if he is lying or not. Listening to his voice, his heartbeat but neither tell her he is being deceitful.

She hums, “That would be hard to believe, but you aren’t lying.” (probably need to change this too)

“I would currently hope I am not. Otherwise I would just a crazy old coot instead of the wise old man I try and portray myself to be.”

Fu makes a decision with what he is going to do.

“Wayzz, would you mind helping me explain this to her?”

With a surprise introduction, and an explanation from Fu and Wayzz, Fu takes Marinette on as an apprentice in the magical ways of the order. As a way to hone her abilities to detect magic.

Fu later meets the Dupain-Chengs and tells them that he could help their daughter with her condition through meditation.

Her parents agree to Fu and his kind mannerisms.

Once at Fu’s house Marientte meets the other kwami.

She has a strong connection to the two main kwami, Tikki and Plagg.

As much as she likes Tikki and could see herself getting along with the creation deity, Plagg is far more lax and pushes all the right buttons to egg her into listening to her more chaotic impulses.

A small list of things he has convinced her to do that the others know about: 1) lay down and enjoying the sun in strange places when ever she can. 2) sharing snacks with him and/or getting him cheese anytime she could 3) pushing her to help out her attorney friends (which was a little strange until he explained how). by helping them by listening to their clients and outing all the lies they tell (that explains it).

And all other manner of things that helped her relax or caused a bit of chaos.

He did convince her one thing that the others don’t know about: Taking his miraculous out during the night for a nice run every now and then.

Which by itself isn’t bad and would have been put in the other list of things he has convinced her to do. But, she ended up coming across one of the mobsters from the Milieu that had escaped justice and got of scot free from the charges he was facing. She ended up fighting him and leaving him for the cops to find the following day.

Needless to say they both kept that night and all others she took his miraculous out for the night a secret from Fu and the other Kwami.

Overall though he was the little devil on her shoulder that helped balance out her more justice seeking and law abiding personality.

He would always call her one of his ‘kittens’ and she would call him ‘a little devil.’ And an off handed comment during one of her nights out gets her the name of “The Cat of the Devil.” (note: The news does call her this as well as “The woman without fear” and “DareDevil” that takes on the mob and its underlings)

Chap 1 (start of it at least)

Marinette is given Plagg’s miraculous when Fu needs help getting back the butterfly miraculous.

Fu ends up giving Tikki to a nice young man that would be a good partner for his young apprentice.

When Paris and France first get to see the miraculous duo, it is from the Ladyblog (crap I didn’t think of a different name for Alya’s blog) during the ‘Stone Heart’ akuma attack.

Mister Bug (gawd I don’t like the kwami!swap names but coudn’t think of a different one) as a blond young man, covered in red and black spandex. His chest, shoulders, and outer thighs are covered in red with black polka dots. While the rest of him is covered in black. He has a domino mask that is red with black polka dots.

Marinette, That Cat of the Devil, is covered in black synthetic leather with accents of green here and there. The leather goes all the way up her neck and lines her chin line. Her mask covers more of her face, starting at her cheeks and going all the way to her hairline and wraps around her face following her sideburns down to connect to the rest of her suit. She has a long ponytail flowing behind her acting as the tail of her costume. Her eyes are different from her partners though. Where Bug has a mask covering his face and the whites of his eyes showing hers are a solid green that don’t show off the eye themselves. She also has a pair of leather cat ears on the top of her head (and a small pair of horns pointing out on her forehead.)

The pair deal with the large rock monster quickly enough. Bug seems exited about the whole thing and looks to be having fun fighting and coming up with plans. While Chat is a bit more collected and focused. She protects her partner while he finds a way to get past the Akuma’s defenses with his Lucky Charm.

They have been one of the people that have helped me be more vocal in sharing my ideas/prompts with others and even giving me the confidence to post my own stories. This idea was just going to a quick “Hey guys, here is an idea.” But Miraculous786 said they were a fan of DareDevil. So I decided to work on my notes a little and try and make, at least, a decent start to it. Well Miraculous786, this is the start I thought of. its a little rough and is like draft1.1 but with this and the notes I sent you before, I officially hand it off to you.
