[OC] What I think Spiderbug looks like

This final Spiderbug design, to me, represents a mixture of Mari and Ladybug! Her flats are reflected in the pink shoe outline and I retained her pigtails.

She has a special spider yoyo that's sentient and guides her just like Tikki in the movie. It's legs can come out and it can detach to give her an extra hand when scanning her surroundings or untangling her webs when she's in sticky situations!

When her spidey senses tingle, her hair ribbons curve into spider arms! They're a special feature that helps Chat Noir or any other ally know that there's danger about ~

Weird, but true.

I used to love adrienette, bit know I cannot stand. Nothing against anybody. I just realized how unrealistic it is and how perfect it would be. I personally like drama and character growth which does not normally appear in adrienette. I have totally jumped off the band wagon with this. Even with peternette (Peter Parker x Marinette), there is drama and sort of that weird anticipation. I don't really know how to explain it, but even though Peter is a total cinammion (cinammon?) roll, we see the struggles he goes through with bullying, superhero responsibilities, and everything else. Even with all of these weighing him down, he is still an awesome hero. However, I mean no disrespect to Chat Noir. I just believe that he is a little bit goofy and immature when it comes to being a hero at times. He has definitely gotten better. Okay, if we are being honest, I love seeing Marinette being, pardon my language, badass. She is depicted as helpless damsel in a lot of adrienette fic (I am not saying all, but I have seen a lot) and I don't really think she is. She is an independent women who is smart, resourceful, and doesn't need any boy or person to save her.

Please don't hate. These are just my personal opinions. I am not trying to force them on anybody.

If you see any grammar errors, please tell me. I always am looking for ways to improve.

If Ladybug was a Spiderverse character (Spiderbug)

The final full body design is the far right one in the 3rd pic!

I heard that Ladybug was inspired by Spiderman at some point. Whether or not that's true, here's my take of what Mari/Ladybug would look like as a spidey :3 I had a lot of fun with this! I thought I'd share a bit of my development process before my final~

I'm currently working on a character sheet so I can put her in a few cool Ladybug/spidey poses and explain some design choices and gadget ideas I have :)

ok ok ok i need to watch this movie a million more times heres my Spidersona idea thoughts are welcome i really really want to do a good job on this:) smiles.

im thinking like spiderbug (havent thought of a name yet) comes from a very pastel-y style universe. and her animation is very pink and kind of stands out against darker scenes!! his arch nemesis would be a venom; i think she studied how symbiotes work so she could replicate it and make a sort of artificial symbiotic buddy!! i think itd be cool to have it have abilities that venoms wouldnt, but still have that core kind of... vibe. also its pink!

i dont have a design yet im also toying with the idea of having two sonas <- indecisive. the other one would be very robot-companion focused and kind of repurposed from a childhood oc....
