He’s a horrible sleeper

I mean sure, you can sleep and cuddle like the couple you are

However, that doesn’t stop him from sleeping wildly

Limbs sprawled all over the freaking place and the only reason you know is because of the concerning amount of times you’ve woken up under some of them

To make it worse?

He’s a blanket hogger

He doesn’t rlly hog it in the sense that he steals it all

I mean he does, but he sorta just slides off the bed and takes the rest of the blanket with him

But yea 😞

Nice to cuddle with but not to sleep with sorry not sorry

He sleeps two different ways

The first way is pretty compacted

What I mean is, he sleeps he sleeps bundled up by the blanket in a blanket burrito

The other one is where he sleeps sprawled out, limbs all over the place, blanket discarded

Just like Percy

So when he’s in a blanket burrito best believe he’s taking you with him

He usually does this during winter because he naturally runs hot

Anyway, he pulls you in and kinda bundled the blanket around you two for you guys to cuddle and be as close as possible

But when he’s sprawled out with his limbs everywhere he likes to cuddle with you on top of him

That or you’re abused and crushed by him in your sleep

Plus yknow how he runs hot? Well it’s absolute hell

It’s so hot and honestly suffocating when he’s sleeping on you 💀

She prefers to have some space and stuff when she sleeps

But if you want, she’s open to cuddling

If you’re the type to always talk during night time then she’d react differently

Like if you gotta sleep asap cuz of the mission and all you do is yap

a/n: i'm having a huge leo brainrot rn, so i had to write something for my boy <3 i wuv him so much >.<

leo is quite the flirt! but as soon as you two start dating, he stops flirting with other girls

because– of course he does! it's the right thing to do. he's taken now and you are the only girl he loves

but the fact that you two are dating doesn't seem to stop other guys from hitting on you

everytime leo isn't around, guys take it as an invitation to flirt with you

and you always turn them down, but some of them are very persistent

by now, leo has learned to come to your aid everytime he sees a guy talking to you that isn't one of your friends

he'll call out your name from afar as he's jogging towards you, a big grin on his lips

if the guy doesn't leave upon seeing him, leo will wrap an arm around your waist and stare at him for a moment

"who's that, babe~?" he'll give them a nasty look while eyeing them up and down

you tell leo the truth, that he's another guy who's trying to get a date with you

You were in a good mood that day, Since it was Thursday, Everyone was practically giddy and preparing for capture the flag the next day, Gathering up Alliances and freshly made weapons. All was good until, you saw Jason surrounded by a couple of Nymphs and was Blushing? which pretty much put you into a bad mood all day, Yeah you we're jealous but you were never gonna admit that anyway, your pride got the best of you and you refused to talk to him the whole day.

"C'mon talk to me princess, What did i do?" Jason said his voice full of genuine worry as he tried to bribe you to talk to him by giving you flowers that he knew was your favorite. You ignored his attempts, recalling the scene you saw earlier. "Please, Are you mad at me?" Jason followed you the whole day looking like a lost puppy, until you finally snapped and told him your reason, And He practically laughed at you "Oh- Hah! Babe-" Your eyes furrowed and you stomped away from him, "Hey! wait!—" He ran after you and tried to explain, but you already locked the door to your cabin before he could get in “Love, let me in please” he pleaded but you were too stubborn to oblige.

The next day, Everyone was in a competitive mood. You glared at Jason from the other team who was staring back at you with puppy eyes making you roll yours, Luckily you guys weren’t in the same team and you wouldn’t have to work with him “No killing nor maiming!” Chiron said then the game started. You couldn’t care less about winning the game, all that matters is you get your revenge, You cornered Jason, who was all alone, you couldn’t lie and say that his armor didn’t make him look more… “Fit” You striked first but he quickly countered your attack and the swords clashed against eachother, “Princess, what got you all worked up like this?” You almost melted at how he called you 'princess' in such caring tone, but you had to stay strong. he was confused, sure you were competitive in games sometimes but not like this. you gripped your sword tighter, but he dodged your attack making you stumble over into your own sword "shit" you cursed under your breath as you saw blood seeping out the cut.

He helped you get up but you shoved him off "What is your problem?, why wont you talk to me?" He groaned in frustration and you glared at him, clenching your fist tightly trying to hide the fact that you got a cut. "You're hurt." He walked closer "No, I'm not" You grabbed your sword from the ground, the blade still had a few drops of your blood, “I’m not blind” Jason got closer and you gripped the sword tightly about to strike at him again. "Don't do that. Let me see your hand." He reached for your arm but you quickly pulled away "And why would i do that?" You scoffed, He reached for your hand again this time lightly gripping your wrist making you drop your sword. "Stop being stubborn. Let me patch you up." You yanked your hand away from him "Different teams dipshit" You hissed "Different teams doesn't mean I'm gonna let you get hurt dumbass, stop being so difficult" He was getting a bit frustrated with you now "Why do you care anyway?" you uttered and his eyes widened he seemed to be genuinely offended by your comment "Why wouldn't i."

You were shocked at his retort and felt blush creeping up your cheeks but you tried to shrug the feeling off. “You didn’t seem to care about me getting hurt yesterday, when those nymphs were flirting with you.” He chuckled gently grabbing your hand that was still clenched into a fist “Is that what this is about?” You could see him getting more flustered talking about the topic which made you more annoyed “wait.. what do you mean flirting?” He asked seemingly confused as he pulled you close by your wrist “They weren’t flirting.” You squirmed under his grip trying to wiggle your hand away from him “Don’t lie. I saw you blushing.” You scoffed and saw him turn away from you faintly laughing “They weren’t flirting..” he murmured giving you a reassuring squeeze "Then what were they saying that made you flustered so much?!" You snapped freeing your hand from his grasp

"Let me bandage you up first." You refused and slapped his hand away, "If i have to carry you to the Infirmary i will." He gripped your wrist, tighter this time "Its just a cut, Jason." You rolled your eyes, lightly flinching "And its bleeding, now sit." He added "God damn it fine!" You groaned but sat on a near tree stump, He knelled down, carefully examining your palm, there was a loud awkward silence and you saw that his cheeks were still red and you wondered why was he avoiding the topic so much if it turns out the nymphs weren't flirting with with him? "I um.." He stuttered, you raised a brow at him as he cleaned the cut with a clean cloth that he pulled out from his pockets before taking out bandages and wrapping it, his fingers lightly brushing up against yours. You twitched under the touch looking down, refusing to look him in the eye. And without warning, He pulls your arm closer to his chest to make the bandages tighter, making you slightly blush at how much he cares for you right now, You saw a faint smile on his face before letting go and standing up.

"You still hadn't answered my question." you said following him. He groaned and sighed "You.." he quietly mumbled and your eyes widened in confusion "Me?" Your head tilted in confusion as he looked you in the eye, cupping your cheek with one hand "They were talking about you.." He stroked your cheek that was almost as red as a tomato "wha-" You shivered feeling a calloused hand wrap around your waist slurring your words "I got distracted, Looking at you when i was training.. and the nymphs noticed and started teasing me telling me how "head over heels" i was for you.. whatever that means anyway.." He had a genuine look in his eyes, forcing you to look up at him with a hand underneath your chin, "Oh.." you were sure you that you were the exact shade of a tomato right now, embarrassed at the fact that your suspicion was wrong and was flustered at his explanation, needless to say that you could’ve saved yourself from overthinking and embarrassment if you would’ve just listened to his explanation yesterday.

You hesitated before speaking “I-i don't believe you..” You said with persistent, you were never one to back down even when you know you’re in the wrong. His grip tightened on your waist and he tucked in a loose hair behind your ear, Leaning in closer your faces inches away from each other “Don’t be stubborn Princess. Do i look like I’m lying?” His gaze softened pulling you closer by your waist making you flush “I would never do that to you, my love..” He whispered and finally closed the gap between you two by placing a soft quick kiss on your lips before pulling away all flustered, “that's an unfair advantage” Your blush reached your ears, Earning a laugh from Jason “You done throwing a fit sweet girl?” He chuckled pulling you closer and kissing your cheek “fraternizing with another team is against the rules…”You murmured trying to hide your blushed up cheeks ”yeah, but since when were you one to follow rules, sweetheart?” He smirked pulling you gently by your chin and kissed you passionately all thoughts of the jealousy, and the game were floating away as you melted into his grasp.

Note: ahhh finally done with this unexpected series. Also, this is twice as long as the previous two parts, I got soo carried away haha, well you can't blame me, writing is so fun! This is the last part of this headcanon series, I had so much fun writing this?? Even though I had like a mini writer's block at first, I swear I started typing this part out having no idea what I was doing, but it all turned out better than I expected. This part is not just Jason x reader but it also includes so much platonic stuff with the others of the seven + Reyna + Nico. It's just so fluffy omgg. Happy reading! •After Jason woke up on the bus, he'd actually remember your eyes and voice VERY clearly. Because those were his two favorite things about you. But Hera had whacked him on the head pretty badly, so he couldn't remember ALL the details about you in the beginning, like Percy did. (I honestly wanted to make him remember you fully even after Hera wiped his memory off, but that would be too similar to Percy and Annabeth lol so I didn't want it to be cliche sorry)

•Now you guys may be wondering, what about Piper and Jason? Okay Piper would admit her feelings for him, but Jason would turn her down, albeit politely though, because it felt utterly wrong. He knew about this special person in his forgotten life, even though her figure was wispy and blurry. He never had any attraction towards Piper, she was a good friend, sure, and it didn't matter how pretty people thought Piper was, because those black Obsidian eyes of the mystery girl he was so familiar with, was alone prettier by every means. (We all love a loyal whipped Jason who thinks that a pair of eyes are more beautiful than a daughter of Aphrodite)

•He knew you were special. He knew that he didn't belong there, in the wilderness school. He knew that he was miles away from home. His real home. But the name of that home never came to him. •the moment he looked at his SPQR tattoo, though, it would bring him vigorous flashes of you and him sparring in a training room.

•Aeolus the wind god, would remind Jason of the time you and him stayed at his palace to slay Trojan the sea monster. Well, of course you went, how can you go to slay a sea monster without taking a sea child with you? Right? That was the last quest you and Jason went on before he disappeared.

Aeolus would trigger that one memory in Jason. Thank the gods for Aeolus. That one memory trigger is what made everything gush back to Jason like a tide.

•He’d remember your name, finally. His Best friend. His crush. His maybe girlfriend. He'd remember his friends from his home. Camp Jupiter. Gosh. He felt such a burst of energy simply by saying that name. Now, he felt homesick.

So you could imagine the excitement he felt, when Leo was building the argo ii. He'd practically gush about you to Leo, and even Piper would be super cool with it. Over the course of the months, Piper realized that Jason and her were not romantically compatible at all, it was all Hera’s mist. She didn't even know what she was thinking, crushing on someone who was so different from her on every level. So now Piper and Jason were like homie coded.

You were super worried after Percy told you that the new, Greek ship, the argo ii would land today. Which was pretty weird, since it meant that Jason was coming back to you. Why were you worried?

•Well, for lots of reasons, what if Jason didn't remember you anymore, what if he lost his feelings for you, what if he found someone else? The stress was real.

•Without even realizing it, you poured your thoughts out to Percy, whom you initially refused to tell about your’s and Jason's.. er.. situationship.

•Percy, would surprisingly be chill about it?? Like you were expecting some panicking now that he knew his sister was romantically involved with someone.

•Percy would calmly tell you that Jason wouldn't stop loving you, proudly pointing to himself as an example, that he never stopped loving annabeth even after the Hera Fiasco. Well. He had a point. That boy was still whipped for his girl.

•So when you locked eyes with Jason, and saw the familiar gleam in his eyes, you knew, he didn't forget. You forgot how piercing his blue eyed gaze was,because it made you feel stuff erupting from your stomach lol (blud is the definition of 🧿👄🧿)

•Without even caring about what your fellow Romans thought, Jason and you would just lunge onto each other tbh. Its canon that Jason is the best hugger ever, so it would be a rib crushing kinda hug.

•You would be SO relieved that he'd remember you and he'd be so relieved that you didn't move on.

•You guys wouldn't kiss, not yet. You still haven't exactly acknowledged your relationship status, BUTTT you do the cheesy af forehead touch thing (you could have sworn percy fake-gagged LOL)That's when Jason noticed your praetor badge, he’d be stunned, and would ask you for details, you’d simply point to the golden eagle perched at the end of the senate house and tell him that you and percy got elected after you both returned the eagle together.

He’d fall in love all over again omgg the heart eyes he’d give youuu. He knew that you were downplaying your achievements tho, so he’d secretly ask Reyna for the full details lol. (Reyna was a proud mom, so she’d give Jason ALLL the deets)

•okay so when Annabeth judo flips percy, you'd be SO taken aback lol, you’d even get a lil uncomfortable bc well that's YOUR brother getting attacked by a random girl- so initially you’d be ready af to throw hands.But after Percy starts laughing you’d realize that THAT'S annabeth. Like Percy's Annabeth. Dam, your brother was with a fierce girl.ANYWAYS, Percy would introduce Annabeth to you proudly, like “THIS is MY sister” (so dramatic and for what reason)

Annabeth would initially be very nervous around you, because, one, she didn't know that Poseidon had ANOTHER kid, gods know what havoc you and percy would cause together, two, you meant a lot to percy and she could clearly see that, an idiot could deny how much love your brother had for you, so she was determined to not mess up her reputation around you, ESPECIALLY after she the look on your face when she flipped Percy (you had a hot temper, need i mention, so without even realizing it, you had directed a very fierce glare at her, oopsie).

Octavian would again, not give up in trying remove your’s and percy’s praetorship by going “Oh there cant be four praetors its against the rules” blah blah that's where percy intervenes with his legendary “we all outrank you loser” lol

So after the group’s lunch scene where they discuss the prophecies and stuff. You, Reyna and Jason would actually talk amongst yourselves, after you guys came to the conclusion that you will have to join the gang in the argo ii. Jason would secretly be overjoyed that he doesn't need to separate from you anymore but you guys would still be sad that Reyna wouldn't be able to come.

This also meant that you would have to give your praetorship up. Gosh your positions in camp Jupiter somehow never stuck permanently, you'd even joke about that. And Reyna would have to handle Camp Jupiter by herself now that all three of you left, But Reyna assured you that it wasn't your fault.

Okay enough with the plot yapping I did. Bc if I continue it would go on for ages. The main reason you're here is because of reader x jason and I'm kinda deviating from that a little.

It would actually take so long till you and Jason get alone time on the argo ii because of group discussions and coach Hedge lol But you both would meet at the deck at like 2 AM (this kinda reminded you both of the times you and he would sneak out to explore New Rome at night.) That's where you both could feel the tension in the air lol. So many unresolved and unrequited feelings on both ends, how would you approach that?

But thankfully, being best friends first gave you guys an upper hand to moving forward in the relationship very quickly. You'd just start off talking about each other's respective journeys in your respective camps. He'd tell you about the quest with Leo and Piper, and you'd tell him about what went on in Camp Jupiter while he was gone.

That's when you realize that Jason looked a little different than when he left. His hair was Messier, a little longer, no more neatly cropped, his azure eyes sparkled when he spoke of Camp half blood, and the war games they had, how different it was from Camp Jupiter, etc.

But instead of feeling upset about how much Jason enjoyed the other camp, you'd feel relief. Relieved that Jason no longer looked stressed anymore, he'd always held this fatigue in his eyes, while he was at camp Jupiter , it was no wonder, considering the politics he'd had to engage in to prove the worth of the twelfth legion, his leader duties + vigorous training had tired him out, but now, some of the fatigue his eyes held had vanished.

Camp half blood seemed to be the place for him. Now you were itching to go to this mystery camp your maybe boyfriend AND your brother seemed to love so much.

Jason would be super nervous to tell you that he liked it better at camp half blood, and that he secretly wanted you to come and stay with him there though. Because he felt like he was betraying his Roman life. He felt like he was betraying your past.

So when he'd tell you, he'd just yap and yap about it out of nervousness. That's when it happened. That's when you kissed him. You would just pull him in. Period.

He'd be super flustered at first, neck reddening and all, but he'd just lean in and be so into it (he's a neck grabber, fight me) You'd think that as a military dude, the guy would be a bad kisser. Hell no. His dad's the chief of getting all the bitches, he ain't letting his son embarrass him by having no charm lol

OH OH and speaking of the old man, The moment your's and Jason's lips met, you would hear a clasp of thunder and see huge steaks of lightning explode in the sky.

You had to admit, the thought of your dad's watching as you both kissed made you feel weird lol

But if Zeus had hated you so much, he would've zapped you to electrons by now, and if Poseidon had hated jason so much, he would've drowned him. But thankfully, neither happened.

After lots of long deep conversations (and kissing)You both would reach the decision that after the whole gaia situation is over, you'd both stay at Camp half blood, but, you'd both return to settle in New Rome as you grew up. I mean, it's Camp Jupiter that you both dislike staying in, not the city itself. The city is paradise for demigods.

But the fates ruined it, so despite gaia’s defeat (No leo is alive and well here okay) after Jason took up the responsibility of building shrines for minor gods, he had to go back and forth between both the camps.

But you, Reyna, Hazel and Frank would help Jason with the minor gods in Rome, While Jason took care of the Greeks. This made his job a tad easier.So the downside was that you kinda had to do long distance for a while AND you hadn't even visited camp half blood yet (Which got on Percy's nerves, the poor boy wanted to show you around his Camp and cabin SO badly, but the fates never left you or Jason alone. The Romans always had duties in front of them.)

But because you, Reyna, Frank, Hazel, Annabeth, and even Leo helped Jason with the shrine stuff. The job got done a lot quicker.

You both were finally at peace.So as a celebration to finishing the shrine project, Percy and Jason DRAGGED you to camp half blood and had the whole day spent with all of the 7 (including Reyna and Nico).

When I tell you, you've never had THIS much fun ALL your life omg.

You never got to bond with Leo, Piper or Annabeth properly because of the war, and stuff. But today? It was like you guys have been friends since forever.

You played capture the flag, You and Percy used up your water shenanigans to put on the most dramatic fountain show EVER (Annabeth was right in her judgment, you both were completely chaotic together) she realized how fun you actually were, not even half as grumpy as you looked. After you and Percy caused a huge avalanche that almost turned into a hail storm (which was prevented by wind boy Jason) Leo told you guys to stop flexing your fancy shmancy weather powers.

Piper taught you guys how to surf, which only ended in You and Percy somehow splattering water on each other and you aggressively tackling him into the bottom of the ocean, WHICH ended in a chaotic “who can swim faster?’’ competition between you both, You both were SO dedicated that you created a huge bubble to bring everyone into the bottom of the ocean to spectate (Frank turned into a sea urchin though lol)

You and Percy ended up in an argument over who won. Mind you, if you read part one, you'd know that Percy and you have this ability to telepathically converse with each other underwater, but only you both understand, so it would end up looking like you're making strangled fish noises to the others. Nico, Piper, and Leo were absolutely hysterical. Jason was amused but so clueless. Hazel was mortified, while Annabeth and Reyna hoped you and Percy didn't kill each other. And Frank? He was still an urchin.

Also, since You, Jason, Percy, Annabeth, Hazel and Frank would all go to New Rome College together, you guys would have SO many double dates together omgg.

I forgot to mention, you met Tyson and Percy's new little sister Estelle, so now your sibling group has expanded even more.

did i mention that percy and you would have matching dolphin plushies? yeah. he'd have the blue and you'd have the grey

Tyson would love you sm omg :( he'd keep making you stuff every time you showed up in camp half blood.

Also, Sometimes when Percy and Annabeth would be busy, You and jason would so babysit Estelle (which Sally would adore) Jason would so take Estelle flying.

can I just take this moment to emphasize how much Sally would care about Jason?? Like after hearing jason’s erm tragic past, Sally would get so protective of him and give him sm food and everything :( Jason would get a little emotional too. Like you can just see his eyes tearing up whenever Sally hugs him :(((

Even though Reyna joined the hunters, You and Jason would make it a point to see her at least Every two weeks. She'd be so proud of how far you and Jason had come, even after the long break that temporarily had your relationship on hold. Now Reyna could sleep peacefully lol since the poor girl had seen you both hopelessly pining for eachother since you were like 9 lol

She had listened to you telling her that you weren't good enough for Jason to like you back, AND him telling her that he wasn't good enough for you, after all.

Okay after you guys got older, because of the amount of services you and Jason had done for Camp Jupiter, you guys would end up receiving such a cool house in New Rome as a gift (it's like the least you deserved for all that you've been through lol) It would have a fancy Roman bath and everything. and even better, it was not far from where percy and Annabeth were living. So it was a win win.

You and Jason would totally iris message Nico at least once a week, you both were basically proud parents when you see Nico all lovey dovey in a relationship with Will. (Is this how Reyna felt seeing you and Jason? Maybe, yes)

Also, you and Thalia met not long after she came to Rome to check out the minor god's shrines. She loved you, like almost immediately, Jason iris messaged her atleast twice a week, so he told her all about you. So Thalia would be SO happy that someone was treating her lil bro right. He deserved that.

Speaking of family, Zeus had just grudgingly accepted that you were his son's girlfriend lol Poseidon would actually be a little chill about it. He wasn't as judgemental as his brother. But just because you and Jason were dating didn't mean that your dad's didn't stop having a go at each other lol

But you both would make it a point to start aggressively kissing eachother whenever you spot statues of your dad's placed next to eachother. Simply to piss them off. And it works. Every. Single. Time.

You would hear a clasp of thunder each time you do this. You and Jason would just look at eachother and burst into giggles. It was a tradition now between you both.

Sometimes Jason would still look at you like you were made of stardust, and vice versa.

In the end, you and Jason were what people called “Childhood Sweethearts”

Jason wakes in the backseat of a school bus, not sure where he is, sitting beside a girl he doesn’t know. He shakes her head slightly, rubbing his eyes, trying to think.

A few dozen kids sprawl in the seats in front of him, listening to iPods, talking, or sleeping. They all look around his age . . . fifteen? Sixteen? Okay, that’s scary, he thinks, closing his eyes. I don’t know my own age.

The bus rumbles along a bumpy road and Jason’s eyes open again, he looks over at the girl he’s holding hands with. The girl was cute, but he doesn’t know who she is or what he’s doing there. Outside, desert rolls by under a bright blue sky. Jason is pretty sure that he doesn’t live in the desert. He tries to think back . . . the last thing he remembers . . .

The girl squeezes his hand. “Jason, you okay?”

She is wearing faded jeans, hiking boots, and a fleece snowboarding jacket. Her chocolate brown hair is cut choppy and uneven, with thin strands braided down the sides. She wears no makeup like she is trying not to draw attention to herself, but it doesn’t work. She is seriously pretty. Her eyes seem to change color like a kaleidoscope - brown, blue, and green.

Jason lets go of her hand. “Um, I don’t -”

In the front of the bus, a teacher shouts, “All right, cupcakes, listen up!” The guy is obviously a coach. His baseball cap is pulled low over his hair, so the students can just see his beady eyes. He has a wispy goatee and a sour face, as if he’d just eaten something moldy. His buff arms and chest push against a bright orange polo shirt; his nylon workout pants and Nikes are spotless white. A whistle hangs from his neck, and a megaphone is clipped to his belt. He would’ve looked pretty scary if he hadn’t been five feet zero. When he stands up in the aisle, one of the students calls, “Stand up, Coach Hedge!”

“I heard that!” the coach scans the bus for the offender. Then his eyes fix on Jason, and then the girl sitting right in front of him.

A jolt goes down Jason’s spine. He is sure that the coach knows he shouldn’t be there. He was going to call Jason out, demanding to know what he's doing on the bus - and Jason would have no clue what to say.

But Coach Hedge looks away and clears his throat. “We’ll arrive in five minutes! Stay with your partner. Don’t lose your worksheet. And if any of you precious little cupcakes causes any trouble on this trip, I will personally send you back to campus the hard way.” He picks up a baseball bat and makes like he is hitting a homerun.

Jason looks at the girl next to him. “Can he talk to us like that?”

She shrugs. “Always does. This is the Wilderness School. ‘Where the kids are the animals’.” She says it like it is a joke they’d shared before.

“This is some kind of mistake,” Jason says. “I’m not supposed to be here.”

The girl in the seat in front of him turns to meet his gaze. Jason starts slightly at the girl’s features, sea-green eyes, close cropped (H/c) hair, and scars littering her face.

“Same,” she meets Jason’s gaze with the same unsteady look he figured was gleaming in his own eyes.

The boy beside the green eyed girl turns and laughs. “Yeah, right, Jason. We’ve all been framed! I didn’t run away six times. Piper didn’t steal a BMW. (Y/n) didn’t flood four school bathrooms.”

The (H/c) haired girl’s, (Y/n), Jason supposes, eyes widen significantly.

Piper blushes. “I didn’t steal that car, Leo!”

“Oh, I forgot, Piper. What was your story? You talked the dealer into lending it to you?” he raises his eyes at Jason like, Can you believe her?

Leo looks like a Latino Santa’s elf, with curly black hair, pointy ears, a cheerful, babyish face, and a mischievous smile that told people right away that this guy shouldn’t be trusted with matches or sharp objects. His long, nimble fingers wouldn’t stop moving - drumming on the seat, sweeping his hair behind his ears, fiddling with the buttons of his army fatigue jacket. Either Leo is naturally hyper or he is hopped up on enough sugar and caffeine to give a heart attack to a water buffalo.

“Anyway,” Leo tells Jason, “I hope you’ve got your worksheet, ’cause I used mine for spit wads days ago. Why are you looking at me like that? Somebody draw on my face again?”

“I don’t know you,” Jason says, meeting a wary (Y/n)’s eye.

Leo gives him a crocodile grin. “Sure. I’m not your best friend. I’m his evil clone.”

“Leo Valdez!” Coach Hedge yells from the front. “Problem back there?”

Leo winks at Jason. “Watch this.” He turns to the front. “Sorry, Coach! I was having trouble hearing you. Could you use your megaphone, please?”

Coach Hedge grunts like he is pleased to have an excuse. He unclips the megaphone from his belt and continues giving directions, but his voice comes out like Darth Vader’s. The kids crack up. The coach tries again, but this time the megaphone blares: “The cow says moo!” The kids howl, and the coach slams down the megaphone. “Valdez!”

Piper stifles a laugh. “My god, Leo. How did you do that?”

Leo slips a tiny Phillips head screwdriver from his sleeve. “I’m a special boy.”

“Guys, seriously,” (Y/n)’s eyebrows are furrowed with confusion. “What am I doing here? Where are we going?”

Piper knits her eyebrows as Jason nods. “Are you two kidding?”

“No! I have -”

“No! I have no idea -”

“Aw, yeah, he’s joking,” Leo says. “He’s trying to get me back for that shaving cream on the Jell-O thing, aren’t you?”

Jason stares at him blankly. “No, I think he’s serious.”

Piper tries to take his hand again, but he pulls it away. “I’m sorry,” he says. “I don’t - I can’t -”

“That’s it!” Coach Hedge yells from the front. “The back row has just volunteered to clean up after lunch!”

The rest of the kids cheer.

“There’s a shocker,” Leo mutters. But Piper kept her eyes between (Y/n) and Jason, like she can’t decide whether to be hurt or worried. “Did you hit your head or something? You really don’t know who we are?”

Jason shrugged helplessly. “It’s worse than that. I don’t know who I am.”

(Y/n) lets out a grunt of agreement.

. . .

The bus drops the students off in front of a big red stucco complex like a museum, just sitting in the middle of nowhere.

Maybe that’s what it is, Jason thinks, the National Museum of Nowhere.

A cold wind blows across the desert.

(Y/n) hadn’t paid much attention to what she is wearing, but she’s glad for how warm it is: black jeans and sneakers, a tattered orange t-shirt, and a black bomber jacket.

“So, a crash course for the amnesiacs,” Leo says, in a helpful tone that makes Jason think this is not going to be helpful. “We go to the ‘Wilderness School’”- Leo makes air quotes with his fingers. “Which means we’re ‘bad kids.’ Your family, or the court, or whoever, decided you were too much trouble, so they shipped you off to this lovely prison - sorry, ‘boarding school’ - in Armpit, Nevada, where you learn valuable nature skills like running ten miles a day through the cacti and weaving daisies into hats! And for a special treat we go on ‘educational’ field trips with Coach Hedge, who keeps order with a baseball bat. Is it all coming back to you now?”

“No.” Jason glances apprehensively at the other kids: maybe twenty guys, about a dozen girls. None of them look like hardened criminals, but he wonders what they’d all done to get sentenced to a school for delinquents, and he wonders why he belongs with them.

Leo rolls his eyes. “You’re really gonna play this out, huh?” he questions. “Okay, so the three of us started here this semester.” He looks over at (Y/n). “You’ve been here forever, you were like, twelve, when you arrived.”

(Y/n) blinks confusedly. That doesn’t feel right, she thinks.

“We’re totally tight,” Leo continues. “You do everything I say and give me your dessert and do my chores -”

“Leo!” Piper snaps, seeing the devastatingly confused look on (Y/n)’s face.

“Fine. Ignore that last part. But we are friends. Well, Piper’s a little more than Jason’s friend, the last few weeks -”

“Leo, stop it!” Piper and Jason’s face goes red. Jason thinks that he’d remember that he’d been going out with a girl like Piper. “They’ve got amnesia or something,” Piper goes on. “We’ve got to tell somebody.”

Leo scoffs. “Who, Coach Hedge? He’d try to fix them by whacking them upside the heads.”

The coach is at the front of the group, barking orders and blowing his whistle to keep the kids in line’ but every so often, he’d look at both Jason and (Y/n) and scowl.

“Leo, Jason and (Y/n) need help,” Piper insists. “They’ve got concussions or -”

“Yo, Piper,” One of the other guys drop back to join them as the group is heading into the museum. The new guy wedges himself between Jason and Piper and knocks Leo down. “Don’t talk to these bottom-feeders. You’re my partner, remember?”

The new guy has dark hair cut Superman style, a deep tan, and teeth so white they should’ve come with a warning label: Do not stare directly at teeth. Permanent blindness may occur. He is wearing a Dallas Cowboys jersey, Western jeans and boots, and he smiles like he was God’s gift to juvenile delinquent girls everywhere. Jason hates him instantly.

“Go away, Dylan,” Piper grumbles. “I didn't ask to work with you.”

“Ah, that’s no way to be. This is your lucky day!” Dylan hooks his arm through hers and drags her through the museum entrance. Piper shoots one last look over her shoulder like, 911.

A girl wearing jeans and a pink top and enough makeup for a Halloween party stalks over to (Y/n).

“Come on, cutie,” the girl places a hand on (Y/n)’s bicep. “You’re my partner.” The girl, Isabel, pulls (Y/n) by the arm.

. . .

The students walk through the building, stopping here and there for Coach Hedge to lecture them with his megaphone, which alternatively makes him sound like a Sith Lord or blares out random comments like, “The pig says oink.”

Leo keeps pulling out nuts, bolts, and pipe cleaners from the pockets of his army jacket and putting them together, like he has to keep his hands busy at all times.

Jason is too distracted to pay much attention to the exhibits, but they are about the Grand Canyon and the Hualapai tribe, which own the museum.

Some girls keep looking over at Piper and Dylan and snickering, one of which happened to be (Y/n)’s partner, Isabel. All the girls were wearing matching jeans and pink tops; Jason presumes that they are the popular clique.

One of them says, “Hey, Piper, does your tribe run this place? Do you get in free if you do a rain dance?”

The other girls laugh; even Piper’s partner Dylan suppresses a smile. (Y/n)’s jaw tightens angrily.

Piper’s snowboarding jacket sleeves hid her hands, but (Y/n) gets the feeling that the brunette is clenching her fists. “My dad’s Cherokee,” Piper says. “Not Hualapai. ‘Course, you’d need a few brain cells to know the difference, Isabel.”

Isabel widens her eyes in mock surprise, turning to (Y/n) and grasping her bicep again. “You wouldn’t let her talk to me like that, would you, hun?” Isabel squeezes the muscle a few times, smirking to herself.

(Y/n) raises an eyebrow, ripping her arm from Isabel’s grasp. “I think Piper can talk to you however she likes.”

The group shuffles on, but the girls keep calling out little comments to Piper.

“Good to be back on the rez?” one of them asks in a sweet voice.

“Dad’s probably too drunk to work,” another says with fake sympathy. “That’s why she turned klepto.”

Piper ignores them, but (Y/n) is ready to punch them herself. She may not remember Piper, or even who she is, but (Y/n) knows she hates mean kids.

. . .

They reach the far end of the exhibit hall, where some big glass doors lead out to a terrace.

“All right, cupcakes,” Coach Hedge announces. “You are about to see the Grand Canyon. Try not to break it. The skywalk can hold the weight of seventy jump jets, so you featherweights should be safe out there. If possible, try to avoid pushing each other over the edge, as that would cause me extra paperwork.”

The coach opens the doors and all the students step outside. The Grand Canyon spreads before them, live and in person. Extending over the edge is a horseshoe-shaped walkway made of glass, so they could see right through it.

Jason has to agree. Despite his amnesia, and his feeling that he doesn’t belong here, he can’t help being impressed.

The canyon is bigger and wider than anyone could appreciate from a picture. The students are so high up that birds circle below their feet. Five hundred feet below, a river snakes along the canyon floor. Banks of storm clouds had moved overhead while they’d been inside, casting shadows like angry faces across the cliffs. As far as Jason can see in any direction, red and gray ravines cut through the desert like some crazy god had taken a knife to it.

Jason gets a piercing pain behind his eyes. Crazy gods . . .Where had he come up with that idea? He feels like he’d gotten close to something important - something he should know about. He also gets the unmistakable feeling that he is in danger.

“You all right?” Leo questions. “You’re not going to throw up over the side, are you? ’Cause I should’ve brought my camera.”

Jason grabs the railing. He is shivering and sweaty, but it has nothing to do with heights. He blinks, and the pain behind his eyes subsides. “I’m fine,” he manages. “Just a headache.”

Thunder rumbles overhead; a cold wind almost knocks Jason sideways.

“This can’t be safe.” Leo squints at the clouds. “Storm’s right over us, but it’s clear all the way around. Weird, huh?”

“All right, cupcakes!” Coach Hedge yells. He frowns at the storm like it bothers him too. “We may have to cut this short, so get to work! Remember, complete sentences!”

The storm rumbles and (Y/n)’s head begins to hurt. Not knowing why she does it, she reaches into the pocket of her jeans and pulls out a ballpoint pen. The cap is blue, and τσουνάμι is engraved on the side in blue writing. (Y/n) doesn’t even take a minute to translate the Greek - Tsunami.

(Y/n)’s gaze follows Jason as he walks across the skywalk. (Y/n) shoves the pen back into her pocket and shoves the worksheet at Isabel, before jogging over to Coach Hedge and Jason, who’d just arrived next to the coach.

“Did you do this?” the coach asks them.

Jason takes a step back. “Do what?”

(Y/n) thinks it sounds as though the coach thought that they had created the thunderstorm.

Coach Hedge glares at them, his beady little eyes glinting under the brim of his cap. “Don’t you two play games with me. What are you two doing here, and why are you messing up my job?”

(Y/n) and Jason exchange glances. “You mean . . . you don’t know us?” Jason asks. “We’re not your students?”

Hedge snorts. “Never seen either of you before today?”

(Y/n) is so relieved she almost wants to cry. At least she isn’t going insane - she wasn’t supposed to be here. “Look, sir. I don’t know how we got here. We both woke up on the bus. All I know is I’m not supposed to be here.”

Jason grunts in agreement.

“Got that right,” Hedge’s gruff voice drops to a murmur, like she is sharing a secret. “One ‘uh you two’ve got a powerful way with the Mist, if you can make all these people think they know you two; but you can’t fool me. I’ve been smelling monster for days now. I knew we had an infiltrator, neither of you smell like a monster. You smell like half-bloods. So - who are you, and where’d you two come from?”

Most of what the coach says doesn’t make sense, but (Y/n) decides to answer honestly. “I don’t know who I am. I don’t have any memories. Y-you’ve got to help me.”

Coach Hedge studies (Y/n)’s face as if he’s trying to read her thoughts; then he studies Jason.

“Great,” Hedge mutters. “You’re being truthful.”

“Of course we are!” Jason replies. “And what was all that about monsters and half-bloods? Are those code words, or something?”

Hedge narrows his eyes. Part of Jason wonders if the guy is just nuts, but the other part knows better.

“Look,” Hedge says, “I don’t know who you are. I just know what you are, and it means trouble. Now I have to protect four of you rather than two. Are you the special package? Is that it?”

“What’re you talking about?” Jason and (Y/n) ask in unison.

Hedge looks over the storm. The clouds are getting thicker and darker, hovering right over the skywalk.

“This morning,” Hedge says, “I got a message from camp. They said an extraction team is on the way. They’re coming to pick up a special package, but they wouldn’t give me details. I thought to myself, Fine. The two I’m watching are pretty powerful, older than most. I know they’re being stalked. I can smell a monster in the group. I figure that’s why the camp is suddenly frantic to pick them up. But then you two pop up out of nowhere. So, are you two the special package?”

The pain behind (Y/n)’s eyes gets worse than ever. Half-bloods. Camp. Monsters. She doesn’t know what Hedge is talking about, but the words give her a massive brain freeze - like her mind is trying to access information that should’ve been there, but isn’t.

(Y/n) stumbles, and Coach Hedge catches her. For a short guy, the coach has hands like steel, (Y/n) thinks. “Whoa, there, cupcake. You say you got no memories, huh? Fine. I’ll just have to watch you guys, too, until the team gets here. We’ll let the director figure things out.”

“What director?” Jason asks. “What camp?”

“Just sit tight. Reinforcements should be here soon. Hopefully nothing happens before -”

Lightning crackles overhead. The wind picks up with a vengeance. Worksheets fly into the Grand Canyon, and the entire bridge shutters. Kids scream, stumbling and grabbing the rails.

“I had to stay something,” Hedge grumbles. He bellows into his megaphone, “Everyone inside! The cow says moo! Off the skywalk!”

“I thought you said this thing was stable!” Jason shouts over the wind.

“Under normal circumstances,” Hedge agrees, “which these aren’t. Come on.”

(Y/N) (L/N). Child of Hephaestus. Half sister to Leo Valdez.

Despite not knowing of each other's existence until they were around 13—the Hephaestus kids immediately got along. They matched each other's energy and enthusiasm.

Leo and (Y/N) were inseparable—literally inseparable. They were practically attached to the hip as soon as they met. So it made sense that once someone else started taking the sister's attention...

Someone got suspicious.

It's not that Leo didn't trust the Jackson boy. He trusted Percy with his life! It's just... Why was the female embodiment of fire, hanging out with a... water boy so much?

This would lead to many suspicious comments about Percy to (Y/N).

“Why are you hanging out with him so much?” “What happened to our dynamic?” “Are we not fun anymore?” “What if he hurts you?” “Don't you miss me~?” “What happens if he breaks somethin' you made??”

(Y/N) chuckled at her brother's questions. She ran her fingers through his curly, brown hair. “You worry too much. You're acting as if he's a Aphrodite kid.”

(Y/N) immediately cringed at her own words, before facing Piper, who was hanging from the beam of (Y/N)'s bunk bed. “No offense, Pipes..”

“None taken. I know what you mean.”

The two Hephaestus kids always accepted the daughter of love as their ‘emotionally adopted sister’. They loved her like one, and vice versa with Piper towards them.

“Besides,” Piper said, before sitting up straight in the bunk bed. “She's not wrong, Valdez. You're acting like he's going to pounce on her at any given time.”

Leo laughed; trying to cover up his jealousy. He spoke while reaching for a spanner. “I'm not jealous.”

The girls looked over at the Latino. “We never said you were.” (Y/N) replied, cocking an eyebrow and smirking at his response.

Leo paused for a minute, before rolling his eyes. “Right. I knew that.” The girls chuckled and rolled their eyes as well.

The silence that grew in the room wasn't awkward, or uncomfortable.

It was nice and quiet—depends on how quiet it can get when you've got two teenagers tinkering with metal and tools.

“...So.” Piper began, breaking the silence.

“So what?” (Y/N) answered, Piper's question grabbing both the attention of Leo and his sister.

“What are you and Percy?” The daughter of Aphrodite asked, looking up from her book—which was labelled ‘Love in the Trees’. What kind of book name was that? (Y/N) thought offhandedly.

(Y/N)'s brows furrowed in suspicion at her question. “Friends... Why do you ask, Mclean?”

Piper rolled her eyes at the usage of her last name. “Okay, one; don't call me that, I feel icky when I'm called that. Two; like I haven't seen him eye fuck you.”

“PARDON.” Leo exclaimed, his jaw dropping at Piper's words. “LIKE YOU HAVEN'T SEEN HIM DOING WHAT.”

(Y/N) shushed her brother by put her finger to his lip. “Shut up! I don't want Annabeth coming down here, and filing a noise complaint.”

“How she gonna file a noise complaint—?” Leo questioned with a confused expression.

“It's Annabeth. She'll find a way.”

“Fair.” Leo nodded in agreement. “But that still doesn't explain what Miss Matchmaker over here just said about you and water boy!”

“She's talking crazy—” (Y/N) started, before getting cut off by Piper.

“I'm really not. What's going on with you two?” Piper asked, eyeing (Y/N) with a quirked eyebrow.

(Y/N) put her hands up in surrender. “Nothing! I swear it!”

“Do you swear on the river of Styx?”

(Y/N) paused, she knew she was lying that nothing had happened—and she wasn't going to swear the river of Styx on a lie. “…”

Leo's eyes widened at his sister's silence, Piper smirked and rested her chin on the back of her palms. “What've you done with Poseidon's kid, Miss (L/N)?”

“I don't have to tell you anything!”

“That's not a no.” Piper smirked. “What did he do then?”

(Y/N) blushed heavily, hiding her face in her hands. “Finnnee.. Y'know the day when we saved that girl from y'know! Y'know that day! When Leo slept over at Jason's room.. Remember Leo?”

The Hephaestus child turned to find her brother was missing. Piper cocked an eyebrow. “Where'd he go?”

(Y/N) knew her brother though. “Fuck! He's gone to find Percy!” (Y/N) slid off her desk and ripped open the door, running down the hall.

Piper followed after her, and on the way; Hazel walked through the halls, humming a tune “I am my mother's savage daughter—”

“HAZEL! FOLLOW US!” Piper yelled out as she grabbed Hazel's wrist, pulling the poor girl along.

“Huh? What's going on? Are you girls alright?” The Pluto daughter asked.

“Oh, I'm fine. But (Y/N) fucked Percy and now Leo's pissed.” Piper explained, before a blushing (Y/N) called out.

“I DID NOT HAVE SEX WITH HIM!”

“Correction; made out with Percy.” Piper updated her sentence. Hazel giggled at the twos arguing, while trying no to get flung into the walls.

The trio of girls stumbled through the doors, (Y/N) getting squashed by the other two landing on her. “Ow... My tits..” (Y/N) complained.

“Shut up.” Piper replied, before the trio looked up—to see a short Latino boy, holding the collar of a tall ravenette.

“Listen here, trout breath.” Leo started. Before getting cut off by his sister's hand on his shoulder.

“Leo! No!” (Y/N)'s hair was up in flames, hot red flames. Leo spotted at the flamed hair, then glanced back at Percy.

Percy, the poor boy, didn't know what in the Gods name was happening. Why was Leo threatening him? Why was (Y/N) blushing? Wait, did they know..?

Leo glared back at him, before letting go of his collar. “You break her heart, I'll cut your dick.” He hissed with a 'trying to be intimidating' glare.

Leo backed down and whispered a 'sorry' to his sister. (Y/N)'s flames slightly died out, as she glared back at him. She looked up at Percy and gave him an awkward smile.

“I am so sorry about him. He's just...” (Y/N) tried to come up with an excuse, but Percy just chuckled.

“It's okay. I'm guessing he found out then?”

“Half the group knows. Except Nico, Frank, Annabeth and Jason.”

Percy paused. “How mad would you be if I told Jason and Annabeth?”

(Y/N) cursed herself. “Of course you did....”

“Can I do your makeup?”

He looked up at her from what he was currently working on, “what?”

“Come on,” she frustratedly threw her head back, “I’m bored and you’re pretty.”

He smirked, “I am pretty,” he sighed as he stretched out his arms.

She raised her eyebrow, leaning closer to him from the chair she was sitting on, “so you’ll let me?”

He stayed silent for a minute. He looked away, then back at her.

“No one else will see it!”

“My siblings-“

“I love you.”

“Why would you say that?!” He laughed. He slid his hands down his face, “you can do my makeup,” he finally caved in.

Her smile grew, “I’ll be right back,” and with that, she pecked his lips before running out the door.

Minutes later, she came back holding a pink sparkly bag, that Leo could only compare to a lunchbox. She placed the bag on the table next to his tools.

“I‘ll start with concealer,” she began, grabbing a small bottle that was so not his shade.

“Babe,” he laughed, “I don’t think that’ll work.”

She rolled her eyes, placing dots under each of his eyes, “you’ll live.” She grabbed an eyeshadow palette next. As she opened it, he swore it smelled like vanilla frosting, “what color do you want?”

He glanced at the palette, “f/c,” he answered, looking back at her again. Did he really care for that color? Not until he met her.

“You’re not just saying that?”

“You love that color and I love you, so it’s perfect,” he smiled.

She felt her heartbeat slightly pick up speed as she watched his lips. She grabbed the brush, blending the color onto his eyelid. She tightly held onto his jaw to make sure he didn’t move.

She stood back, tilting her head as though she were examining a painting. She nodded to herself before taking out a black tube.

“No way.”

She giggled, “what? Are you scared?”

He shook his head, “I just know you don’t have the steadiest hands.”

“You can trust me,” she tried to convince him. She opened the tube and straddled his lap to get a better view of his eye, “it would, you know, accentuate your already amazing eye shape.”

He held onto her hips to steady her, “you need to stop flattering me,” he joked.

She bit her lip as she smiled. She leaned into him, beginning to brush the liner onto his eye.

He couldn’t help but pay all his attention to her bubblegum scented breath fanning his face. His eyes twitched slightly, but he overall was too distracted by trying not just throw her onto the table and kiss her lips right then and there.

She screwed the cap back onto the eyeliner, placing it back in the bag, “that’s all done at least,” she turned back to her boyfriend and wrapped her arms around his neck.

“Is that all?” He questioned as his thumbs traced circles on her hips.

She paused for a minute, “one more thing.” She leaned back, pulling out a lip gloss. He puckered his lips as he thought she was about apply it to him. But instead, she glossed her own lips before putting the gloss away.

Before he had a chance to question her, his lips were taken over by the warmth of her own. He fell into the kiss as his eyes closed. He could feel the stickiness of the gloss being transferred to his mouth but he couldn’t have cared less, because all he cared about right now was pulling her as close to him as possible. His hands traveled down her body which made her press further into him.

She took her lips away for only a second so she could whisper, “you really are pretty,” she moved a stray strand of hair out of his face.

He laughed, “I know.”

“Shut up,” she added before leaning into another kiss. That was when Leo knew he would be asking her to do his makeup a lot more often.

Tags: Use of Y/N, Fluff, no specific physical description of the reader (other than the fact they're female coded), Comfort

HOW YOU TWO WOULD MEET I imagine Leo to be someone who looks for a person he's able to have a lot of common ground with in a relationship. Of course, he's able to crack jokes (even the not so funny ones) around practically everyone, but there's a difference between small banter and just full on being able to vibe with someone. I think he'd be very attracted to someone interested in the arts, or someone who likes to make their own things as a mean of self expression in general. We all know how Leo is in terms of self confidence - he'd like a person who is unapologetically them, proud of their art and self expression and someone who has enough emotional awareness to give him reassurance in a relationship when they can sense he needs it. You guys would probably first meet at some type of event or workshop, or if you're a camper, probably at the dining pavilion when he sees you and has to do a double take because "who is that cool girl I've never seen before?" he'd muster enough confidence to come up and tell you a corny joke, stumbling on his words, which makes you laugh.

"Hey, can I ask you something?"

You looked up from your feet, now practically face to face with this guy you'd never seen before. His clothes were wrecked with dirt and debris, so were his gloves.

He was standing awkwardly, and his hands, clearly shaking, were clenched into tight fists.

"Sure?"

"So um, riddle me this. Why can't you hear a pterodactyl going to the bathroom?"

"Because pterodactyls went extinct 65 million years ago?"

His eyes widened, and a red tint began to become more visible around his face as he scratched his head, messing up his already tangled locks of hair.

"Oh.. That wasn't what I was going to say," He chuckled.

You smiled, suddenly feeling a warm aura coming from this boy.

"Well, what were you going to say?"

"Because, uh.. The P is.. Damn, whatever. My name's Leo. What's yours?"

ACTUAL RELATIONSHIP HEADCANONS He was awkward at the start of the relationship, not really knowing what to say or what exactly "being a boyfriend" entails, but once he starts getting comfortable and more confident around you, that's where the fun begins (yes this is a star wars reference) Expect every Spanish nickname to be pulled out of the book. "Mi amor," "Hermosa," "Bonita," "Mi vida," "Corazón," if it exists in the Spanish language, he's most definitely said it. And he won't skip out on variations of your preferred name, or even silly sounding nicknames in public, like: "pookie" and "sugarplum" or some other stupidness. For dates, I believe he'd very much vary between educational and immersive dates and just straight up goofing off. It honestly depends on the season. Late Fall/Winter is for going to museums, workshops, possibly a joint coding class or hanging together in one of your rooms, and Spring/Summer is for exploring the town and having those cute little boardwalk + beach + ferris wheel dates. (I also imagine him to be somewhat clumsy and he WOULD drop ice cream all over the pavement.) As the son of Hephaestus, he is most definitely a human radiator. Definitely had a lot of fever scares just because of his temperature alone. But don't worry, he's fine. And the heat is an extra bonus if you're cuddling. Speaking of cuddling and physical proximity, Leo's love languages are gift-giving and physical touch. It doesn't matter if you guys have been apart for 2 minutes or 2 days, if he hasn't seen you in a little bit, he will greet you with one of those spin around hugs or a kiss on the hand. And for gift giving, he enjoys giving and receiving gifts. He likes to either make you little trinkets, or make/buy your favorite foods. He is a firm believer of giving his lady princess treatment, even on a dollar store budget. Though he wouldn't consider himself much of a photographer, I think he probably enjoys taking lots of pictures of you, both with and without him. It's to savor the moment, and also because he wishes he could've taken more pictures with his mother when she was still alive. He has a photo album of just you, him, and the adventures you two go on. You're not a stranger to pranking by him, by the way. If anything, he probably pranks you the most, out of love. You'll chase him down for a few hours, and he gets a thrill out of it knowing you won't stay mad at him forever. In conclusion, dating Leo can be rocky, calming, and give you a whirlwind of emotions, similar to how being on a floating trireme would feel.

The first time he met a child of Poseidon was by being yelled at because he was possessed and accidentally shot at camp Jupiter

Not to mention how intimidating Percy is so ofc Leo is a bit reluctant to talk to you

I mean, because of Percy being part of the 7 you end up being around and a convo between you and Leo is inevitable

Eventually after much talking and hanging around you two quickly grew closer and it’d probably be because Leo thinks you’re literally the most hilarious person on this planet

Ofc he was also intimidated by you but now it was mostly because of how attractive you are

So finally when you and Leo are just chilling, it was after a bonfire and you two began walking by the lake before you both had to go to bed

A/N: I haven’t got much to say this time, just a reminder that requests are open and will remain this way for some weeks at the very least:))

Warning: absolutely none (maybe some swearing? But like, two bad words), just pure fluff. Also, reader uses female pronouns

It was kind of against your destiny to fall in love: Aphrodite is bound to never return Hephaestus’ love, so that they’re stuck in a loveless marriage. With the two of you, it’s the total opposite

The exact same MOMENT you see the boy in camp, disheveled look, face covered in machine oil and dust, you’re, absolutely smitten

It’s the classical “she fell first, he fell harder” type of trope

He notices you pretty early on too, but he doesn’t even try to approach you at first

I mean, no way that the prettiest child of Aphrodite could ever even look into his direction, you’re wayyyy over his league

It takes Piper’s help to start things up, when she accidentally stumbles upon Leo while she was taking a walk around camp. “Oh how rude of me. Y/N, this is my best friend, Leo”

It would be embarrassing to write down just how much he’s stumbled on his words the first time the two of you talked, just because of how he was absolutely captured by your godly beauty

He comes to find that you’re also a lot more than you’re looks: you’re funny, smart, clever, strong as fuck, and one of the best friends Leo has ever known

It doesn’t take long for him to realize that he’s completely and irrevocably in love with you, but oh boy how long does it take him to confess it to you

He had prepared this big, fancy plan to take you by the beach, with candles all around, a circle of rose petals and in the center of it a picnic filled with all of your favorite foods waiting to be devoured

Too bad he didn’t check the weather that morning, or he would’ve seen that a storm was expected right on that evening. He might’ve asked for Percy’s or Jason’s help too, maybe they could’ve done some big-god shit to prevent the rain

Nevertheless, you both found yourself soaked wet, standing by a line of extinguished candles, the petals long gone with the wind, and the food watered down to a soup

He wanted to drown himself in the sea right then and there, but he was quickly stopped by your laugh coming from behind him

Oh gods, where you making fun of him? Did you figure out what his intentions were? It must’ve been it, I mean, how could you ever want to have anything to do with him other than simple friendship, he’s been so stupid so reckles-

His track of thoughts was interrupted by your hands grabbing the collar of his shirt and pulling him in for a loving kiss, your skilled lips so soft and comforting against his much inexperienced ones

“You could’ve just told me you liked me at Camp, you know.”

“Wait, was it that simple?”

You laughed again shaking your head at his cluelessness, and he swore the sound of your laugh could’ve been the only thing he needed to live from that moment on

Okay no maybe food too, but you get the idea

You spend most of the time chilling in cabin 9 while he works on his projects, chilling in his bed or peaking at what he was doing

He definitely calls you dove for obvious reasons

Best believe that as soon as you guys are a thing all his flirting with every girl that moves is OVER my boy does not come from the streets he’s a loyal mf

After the curfew you usually sneak out to chill in some secluded area in the forest, and cuddle for hours in the moonlight

And whenever it rains, you waste no time to go at the beach and dance in the rain, reminiscing about the day you two got together

Oh, and get ready to see Leo as an emotional wreck anytime one of you is on a quest, when he’s unable to text you or hear anything from you for days or even WEEKS

He’s sure that’s worse than Prometheus’ destiny

Overall it’s like a golden retriever - siamese cat relationship, 10/10 would recommend
