THE ONLY ONE

genre. fluff. warnings. kissing. takes place after the events of the s2 finale, but there's not really many spoilers. pairing. husband!go won x wife!reader. wc. 1.1k. request. no. a/n. finally writing for the loml in aos, prince go won <3 i'm surprised it's taken me this long cause damn 😭 i've been meaning to write a fic for him forever, especially since @blue-jisungs and i both go crazy over him teehee. if the self indulgence of this fic isn't clear from the way i write the kisses, idk what will make it clearer cause i absolutely would do anything for this man ‼️ i'm as delulu as you can get

“How did you know that I was the one for you?” You asked curiously. It was a dreary day— a perfect one to stay indoors and laze around with your husband; which is exactly what you were doing. You rested your head on his shoulder, hugging his waist as he read a spell book. But he wasn’t really paying attention to the words anymore. The book was a lot less interesting than you, or the questions that your brain prompted you to ask.

It had already been a year since you were married to Go Won. Your wedding anniversary was just around the corner, and as the king of the country; Won made sure that only the most luxurious of parties would be planned as a celebration.

“I believe there were many factors to that, my love.” He hummed in thought and you hugged him just a little tighter. “Of course, you know that Jin Buyeon recommended you to me. I probably would not have met you if it weren’t for her. Have I ever told you that I used to test you?” He turned slightly to look at you, a cute grin on his face.

You laughed in disbelief, “Really? I assume I passed those tests since I’m here with you now?”

He agreed, “Of course you passed them all. There were only 3, and they were all quite simple. Firstly, I needed to make sure you were more reasonable than I was. Secondly, you needed to make my heart flutter. And finally, my turtle needed to like you.”

You giggled at the last one. You remembered clearly how shocked and thrilled Won was when he first introduced you to his pet turtle. It had also been one of the moments where you realized you truly loved him. He was a simple man, but he cared deeply for his people and his country. His turtle was probably the most precious thing he owned, and he still cared for it to this day.

It had practically run to you (as fast as a turtle really could run) when you had first met. As funny as it sounded, that was all Won needed to know you were the right woman to marry. Apart from your attractive wit and breathtaking beauty— you had a good soul; and that Go Won knew from his turtle.

“I guess I should thank him for bringing us together then, hm? He should get his own spot at our anniversary banquet.” You mumbled mindlessly, lazy smiles present on both your faces.

“If that’s what you wish, then I shall see it done.” Won replied happily, shooting a grin towards the fancy water dish that his turtle was kept in.

Truly, Buyeon had not lied when she said it possessed good energy. It never seemed to stop giving Go Won good luck. It had separated him from Jin Mu, brought him closer to Jang Uk, and found him a wife all within just 2 years.

“Did I ever tell you that I love you?” You asked, smiling against his skin, your face buried in the crook of his neck. He smelled sweet, but it wasn’t any less regal than you would expect from a king. It suited him perfectly. He embodied everything sweet and lovely and playful. From his bright eyes to his slight dimple when he smiled; your husband only knew how to love you with his entire being. He couldn’t love you with anything less even if he tried.

“Daily, darling.” He whispered, too caught up in the feeling of your warm breath hitting his neck. Your lips hovered over the skin as if you were still thinking about whether to kiss it or not. But when you finally let your lips fall to meet his soft skin, he found himself smiling, leaning into you in hopes of being closer.

“It’s comfortable like this. I want to stay here all day.” You told him. You would never get tired of this feeling— this pleasant buzzing in your chest that felt so right. Only Won could ever summon the feeling, and you found yourself often thinking about how perfect it was. You would love him for the rest of your life, and even when you died, he would still be the only man you kept in your heart.

“I don’t have anywhere to be. It would be impossible for me to leave even if I did when you’re holding me so tightly.” He said the last sentence in a teasing whisper which caused colour to rush to your cheeks. He wasn’t wrong, and though you could hardly be asked to stop, you at least loosened your grip around his waist. You would hug him for the entire day if you could.

Go Won could tell by the way you shrunk your head down to rest on his back instead of by his neck that you had gotten flustered. You were always one to shamelessly flirt with him until the second he commented on it or flirted back. Your cheeks would grow hot and you would shy away from any affection that he attempted to give you. He thought it was adorable.

“Don’t get all shy on me now. What happened to the neck kisses you were giving me a minute ago?” He teased. Your arms were loose enough now that he could easily turn around to face you— something he had been wanting to do for a while.

You hid in your hands, too embarrassed to show him your face. He cooed at you, gently grasping your hands to move them down. He cupped your cheeks in his warm palms, only worsening your problem. He gave you a smile; a bright one that showed off his dimple and made his eyes sparkle with the love they held for you.

“Don’t look at me like that…” You mumbled quietly.

“Like what?”

“Like… I hung the stars in the sky or something. You look… so in love.”

“I am so in love, and I won’t stop looking at you.” Came his only response. It was a heart-fluttering one, one that you could only expect from your husband. He had always been expertly charming.

He leaned down to kiss you, almost as if completing his statement. And if you ever forgot how much he truly loved you, you were reminded of it every time his lips found yours. Whether it be short pecks or these longer kisses, his love was always displayed in both. When you kissed Go Won, it was as if you got entirely lost in the feeling of him. The rest of the world did not matter when his lips were on yours— it was just you and him, so very in love with each other.

FAQ i just made up on the spot:

What is PoE/What’s it about? —It stands for Pirates of Etheria, which is a play on the Pirates of the Caribbean title,,, i am not very good at titles but i was too lazy to change it so that’s what we’re sticking with atm, but basically i like SPoP and i like PotC and my brain said teehee and combined them and i have never recovered from that high, it’s self-explanatory this is just what if lesbian pirates,,, i am a clown of simple taste

Where can I read it?—it’s in comic format bc i woke up one day and chose to torture myself! so it’s still very much a work in progress but the first chapter is gonna be uploaded and linked and so is the second, which is halfway up on my twitter and will be here as well as soon as it’s finished :]

Is there an age rating/any content warnings I should know about?—My plans for PoE is for it to mostly stick along both the plotlines and the maturity rating for PotC, which is generally inclusive of some PG-13 content (not recommended for children due to suggestive scenes, violence, you get the gist). Each chapter will include a content warning for any sensitive content, though generally speaking i’d wager it will be a relatively SFW read :^]

When will you finish it?—bro i am just doing this for The Vibes idk i’m rly slow

So is it a crossover or just a pirate AU, or…?— ……yes (longer answer: it's not really a crossover AU in that you won't be seeing PotC characters gallivanting around and interacting with the SPoP crew, but there are elements from both sides of the source material that form the plotline for this one, as well as references/maybe the occasional Easter Egg,,, but yeah it's kinda just a mix!)

Gabriel: Freddy is like our big lazy papa bear. He only moves when he needs to, but he’s also always there when you need him… We both kind of have to reign the others in when they get…wild. Charlie helps, but we got the top hat.

Jeremy: Bonnie and I are working on learning to play Dude Looks Like a Lady by Aerosmith! I heard it on the radio and it was rockin’! The kids will love it when we play it out of nowhere at showtime!

How I Think The Star Wars Sequal Trilogy Characters (As Well As My Other Star Wars OCs) Would Style Leo’s Hair

I wanted to make this because Leo has absolutely luscious, long, beautiful black hair it’s actually unfair (teehee that rhymed.)

Rey: Now, me personally, I love Rey. I just think the creators could’ve idk NOT made her a Mary Sue character?? But anyways, I think Rey would style Leo’s hair with space buns. Like the long-haired style space buns. Idk I just think Rey loves space buns, but she could never try it on herself. She has to try it on other person, and what better person to try that hairstyle on but Leo?

Finn: Pigtail braids. No questions asked. Though, I think Finn would be nervous to style Leo’s hair because he’s so used to his short hair, so he wouldn’t be used to their long hair. He would constantly ask if he’s pulling Leo’s hair, and they would have to reassure him that they’re not in any pain.

Poe: Literally would just curl it to match his “tousled” hair. What I mean by that is that he wets it with a spray bottle, and even sprays Leo when they complain about being soaked, and dries it, and calls I a hairstyle. The funniest part will be that he would be so proud of it, showing off his “masterpiece” to almost everyone in the Resistance. Like, “Yeah, I can style hair! I’m the best!” type of situation, when all he did was two steps. He’s trying his best…

Kylo Ren: WAIT WAIT WAIT BEFORE YOU SAY, “Doesn’t Leo hate his guts?” JUST HEAR ME OUT ON THIS PLEASE. I think Kylo would give Leo a emo/scene kid hairstyle LMAOOOO THAT WOULD BE SO CUTE, BUT SO FUNNY. And like while he’s doing their hair, they’re both just silent and awkward because their first interaction with each other was when the First Order killed Leo’s parents. Eventually when Leo is done, they mutter a soft, “Thank you,” and Kylo nods.

Rose: I know a lot of the fandom don’t like Rose, but just hear me out (again.) I think Rose would give Leo a half up and half down ponytail. She thinks the hairstyle would look cute on them, and once she’s done, she’ll put stickers on Leo’s face (she seems like that type of person to put stickers on her own face.) Leo would complain for a little bit, but eventually shut up once Rose starts putting the stickers on them.

Han: I know he died in the first movie, but if he were to meet Leo, and do their hair, he would probably give her an 80s rocker head hairstyle, with a lot of water, drying, and hairspray. He’ll probably say something like, “Lookin’ good, kid. Robyn will really swoon over you, now,” which would make Leo’s face turn bright red.

Leia: Leia would definitely give Leo her Original Trilogy double bun hairstyle. Leia definitely has mom hands, and it would definitely have Leo shouting in pain. It doesn’t anger Leia, it just amuses her. After all, her son did grow up to be a tyrant, turning him to the dark side and all. All she ever wanted was a child, and Leo maybe, just maybe, might be that child.

Luke: Luke would probably give a simple yet pretty hairstyle. Probably like a low bun with a braided headband on the top. I think he likes to keep things easy, and hairstyles are no exception. Leo would ask why, and he would just shrug and say some wise Jedi stuff like, “Being simple does not equal laziness, Leo Xi,” and leave Leo giggling at his Jedi mindset (not in a bad way.)

Robyn (OC): Ah yes, Leo’s childhood friend turned love interest. She would definitely give Leo a fluffy hairstyle like she has, but for longer hair, of course. Her tender hands would leave Leo a flustered and stuttering mess. Why can I say? They have such a sappy, teenage romance that makes Poe and Finn’s romantic tension (if it’s even at that point, I would say beyond romantic) look good, not that it isn’t good. Those two just love being around each other. You think they’re attached to the hip? You haven’t even seen Robyn and Leo’s relationship.

Zak (OC): Zak has killer dreads, so Leo has to match him with box braids, right? Zak, being a POC (Black specifically), grew up with his scalp being sore and swollen after his mother pulled his hair in tight braids. So, he kinda feels slightly bad when he hears Leo complain almost in tears because he knows how rough his hands are because of watching and experiencing his mom do his own hair. I mean, come on. Leo is white, like ghostly white, and their hair is as dark as night. They were in so much pain, that they pleaded Zak to take the braids out. Zak apologizes so many times when he takes out the braids, and Leo winces. Leo then respects Zak for growing up with the most beautiful hairstyles, but asks how he dealt with the pain, to which he laughs and says, “I’m used to it, Leo.” (Btw I know and respect Black hairstyles and their history. If I made any mistakes, you guys can politely correct me on them. Love my POC folks too mwah mwah.)

Vere woke to the sounds of splashing. The sun hadn’t risen yet, the living room barely visible aside from the dim glow of electronics. Vere glanced at the time- 2:38 am. With a swift motion they sat up and rubbed their eyes. A dull ache permeated their neck, not used to the couch.

The couch.. They snapped to a realization. Kit was awake. Sweeping their feet from under the scratchy wool blanket, they barely noticed the cold morning air that bit at their toes as they ran. Vere swung into the illuminated bathroom to see Kit sitting fully clothed- her head tucked into knees in the full bathtub. Her long dark hair splayed around her like a murder scene, twisting and spiraling in the water.

Vere stepped forward and found their foot in a puddle of water. Not knowing how to approach, Vere slowly walked towards her. Kit didn’t make a single movement.

They crouched down and put a hand on her cheek. Kit let her face be led by their hand. Vere looked into her eyes only to be returned with a blank, fuzzy, gaze.

“I missed you.” Vere said with an unreadable smile. Kit let her head lean into Vere’s hand, her eyes falling downward.

“How long did you miss me?” Kit mumbled

“How long? You mea-“ Kit interrupted them by grabbing them by the back of their neck and pulling them close into the crook of her own neck. Vere tensed up- both Kit and the water were ice cold.

“I missed you too” Kit murmured with a light slur into their ear. Vere relaxed into her arms but got a strained look on their face. For a moment they stayed there- a moment of still silence. It had been a long time since they had that. Vere pulled back and put their hand on Kit's forehead. As they guessed- Kit had a fever running.

“No wonder you said that. Why don’t we get you out and warmed up?”.

“I can’t.” Kit closed her body back up again.

“No? Why’s that?”

“I have to get clean”. It was a valid excuse- the battle the night before created all sorts of lacerations and grime on her that vere did not have the energy to clean when they got home.

“… okay.”

“Don’t leave me” Kit caught their sleeve before they could stand up completely. Vere looked away to hide a smile creeping up their cheeks. They ruffled their fluffy white hair and looked up.

“I’ll be with you to the very end.” They looked back at Kit, still sitting there looking with hazy eyes.

“Do you need help?” Vere asked

“I'm happy that when I’m dead you’ll eat my body. A good place to go. ” Kit studied her bruised legs held in front of her.

“Yeah? Me too. I’ll be sad too though.” Vere smiled at her. “I’ll make you the best meal I’ve ever had.”

“Thank you” Kit hugged her knees “Please help me”.

“Here- lift your arms.” Vere directed and Kit followed. They delicately pulled off her shirt to reveal her frail scarred body. Vere pulled the plug on the drain and started warm water from the removable shower head. Kit didn’t react when the water hit her but Vere knew it must have stung in her cuts. Vere started with her hair- washing out the blood and grime accumulated. They sat there in silence as Vere worked away. Vere noticed her fragile beauty -scars covered her body, each one from a battle she endured. Vere sighed.

“You know you don’t have to do this. You could stop. The fighting and planning I mean.” Vere’s hands stopped.

“I have to.”

Vere’s hands resumed. “We could leave- hide in the second layer? I’d be willing to go to the final layer though. No one would find us. Yeah the fog would make us go crazy.. but aren’t we already? We could live there until the final day and go out peacefull-“

Kit grabbed vere’s moving hands and looked them dead in the eyes. Vere looked back at her with shaking eyes. Kit didn’t even realize she was crushing their hands. Vere hoped they wouldn’t get a fracture- that would make the steady process of sewing up Kit’s wounds later much harder.

“Sorry” Vere looked down in shame. “I know you.”

Kit let go and fell backwards into the water, splashing Vere.

“It’s not your fault. Maybe in another life things could’ve been different.” Kit murmured. Vere put their palms on the side of the bathtub and leaned over, putting their head over hers.

“We both know there is no other life.” Vere made a kind smile.

Haikyuu Fanfic recs: bamf/spy AU ;)

Hello loves! ~~Here I am, once again, not finishing one of the other drafts that I have and making a different post~~ (meant to be sung with the make it shine tune) Pretending like you didn’t just read that, I am here to recommend some bamf/spy AU fics because currently, that’s my vibe LOL. No this will NOT have mafia (even tho they are bamf’s) because this is supposed to be spy/secret agent orientated :))))))) (I say this, but if they overlap, they overlap.)

Because of the nature of this list, many of these fics will prolly be a little/lot graphic with their depictions of violence so beware and be warned! I won’t put individual warnings cause like I said these are all a bit graphic in their own ways. That being said, let’s get down to business (cause Mulan IS a bamf) ;)

Super Spy Husbands by leurauxe /IwaOi/ I LOVE THIS SERIES AKJASFDJK READ IT. It’s SO good and I love their actions scenes and the BACKSTORY OMFG THE BACKSTORY. The proposal fic was SO GOOD AAJSFJLS. Like everyone is done so well in these fics and the plot progression? YES PLEASE.

Hell Mission by codename_bewareofthefangirl (T) 22.7k /IwaOi/ okay IwaOi yes yes but Akaashi? MVP boys. It do be like that sometimes hehe. Anyway, the interactions between them (IwaOi and the whole squad) are gold. Also Iwa and the shower scene? Yes daddy ;)

sorry baby by sketchedsmiles (M) 34.3k /SunaOsa/ THIS!!! Okay you might be thinking wow this seems weird but just read it. I love the way their relationship slowly comes to be and like at the end SakuAtsu just knows ajkfhaldjf. Also when Osamu did the thing (at the hotel) I FREAKED OUT LIKE WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT but it’s okay. They fixed it :’)

bang! now we're even by Authoress (M) 11.9k /BokuAka/ yes you might recognize this from my other post LOL, but I really love this fic so here it is. AGAIN HEHE. Also, Akaashi in a dress? Like the tags might state, what more do you need? The characters are done beautifully, and the story development is SO good (like THE TWIST UGH).

hq detective AUs by valiantarmor /BokuAka, KuroKen, IwaOi/ again, from that same post EHEHE. Man do I really love fighting in my fics LOL. This was super good and the plot itself kept me really engaged (what a twist omg). It does talk a bit about mental health issues, but it’s done so well, and they really did this AU justice! The three fics can be read separately BUT they’re all done so well, I think you should read them all :)

The One With The Spies by hangoverhater /Multi (but mainly IwaOi)/ PLEASE,,, the fics in this series? HILARIOUS. THE SECOND FIC ”Well, this is a nice change of scenery.” “It’s a prison cell.” “I was being sarcastic.” HAD ME DYING. Poor Daichi, he really needs those days off :)))))

on the eighteenth by skittidyne (T) 5k /KuroKen/ I love fics where the characters are forced to face their feelings. This is one of those fics LOL. It’s done so well and the small details (as Kenma loves) are inserted really well. Like the first night where they fake doing stuff? Amazing LOL.

Punches by Sebastians_senpai (M) 1.5k /IwaOi/ hot Iwa hot bamf Iwa. Like entrance? Hot. Killing people? Hot. Anyway I want a boyfriend who will protect me if I get hurt. Can I be Oikawa? (you know being Oikawa would be an honor in itself)

just a boy undercover (and a boy with the getaway) by volchitsae (M) 14.1k /SakuAtsu/ twin fight rendition number idk but it’s good so whatever LOL. Is it really a SakuAtsu fic without one mention of a major twin fight? (probably yes but in this case no LOL) This one was SO good and I love how annoying Sakusa is >>>> for Atsumu. Also the acceptance at the end ajfakdlf HEART WARMED.

to crash in orbit by aceun (T) 2.8k /SunaOsa/ I LOVE BEING UNPROFESSIONAL ON THE JOB!!!!!! I adore how they know each other’s tendencies and how Osamu is like, I know he’s hot LOL. Also when they talked about Rome and Prague it made me laugh OMG. And RIP Osamu’s watch, worked hard never to be seen again LOL.

the unfinished kiss by Ellieb3an (E) 6.3k /SakuAtsu/ I told myself, less or no smut, but here we are. Honestly you’d think I learn I never stick to my own rules LOL. Anyway, this is SPICY so avoid if you don’t like smut heheh. I absolutely love when they use fighting as foreplay like adflkhf yes PUNCH HIS FACE (does that make me violent? probably LOL).

In knives and bullets by badreputation (M) 8.3k /SunaOsa/ UGH this one. Suna and Osamu’s relationship is *chef’s kiss*. And like I love how it isn’t too rushed and they took their time (also angry Suna is HOT). Like the tension at the house during the thing and then the PROPOSAL (LIKE YES). I always find myself coming back to this fic cause I just really love it <3

training by Sebastians_senpai (M) 3.2k /IwaOi/ again the smut.... ANyway, this one is some bamf Oikawa and head-made-of-steel Iwa LOL. Also some avengers talk makes it’s way up (and need I say, Iwa probably did look hot af when he did that), and him constantly hitting the other guy (cause spoilers hehe) made me laugh (ie. targeting LOL).

glass stained black by unrequitedangst (E) 31k /SunaOsa/ OKAY I said nO mAfIa Au’s well.... Technically it’s a SPY mafia AU so teehee. Also another repost cause why not LOL (but altered cause my writing is atrocious). The character development of Osamu is really legit and despite being mafia, it’s not that heavy or angst of a fic (but you should still definitely read tags and warnings first). It’s a non-linear fic (which I really liked, cause I love non-linear hehe) and the organization just adds another level to the fic development!

I love BAMF so if you have any to recommend, DO IT. Always up for more bamf/spy/secret agent AU’s HEHE. Also this turned into a collection of the same ships LOL IM SORRY, but I have a type and I think it’s very obvious hehe. I hope you all were careful about tags because I got lazy LOL. And this wasn’t in any particular order so I should’ve done it by ship, but I’m too lazy to do it now LOL. Okay, what I’m about to say is probably the most toxic, disgusting thing a person could say…but I’m kinda hoping that I’ll be diagnosed with BPD.

Like that sounds terrible, right? No one should want a disorder that makes literally everything in life difficult, makes you wanna kys one moment then feel absolutely nothing another moment, do things recklessly, etc. And I’m not saying “teehee I want BPD” for the aesthetic…I hope.

I’m saying I hope what I am experiencing is BPD because I feel so much self hatred about how I feel and react - how I can flip from projecting my anger at someone one moment then feeling absolutely nothing the next, how I am always convinced people hate me even when they tell me the opposite, how I throw money at things because I feel like consequences don’t exist, etc.

I guess I am just scared that if this isn’t BPD, that it’s “just” anxiety and depression, then I’ll continued to be treated like I can cope, that I should be able to do things like everyone else and that I’m a failure for not being able to do “normal” things. I have this strange perception that being diagnosed with BPD will finally prove to others I’m not just overreacting, that I literally have a personality disorder that makes everything extremely difficult. Because people in my life, even when I give my best attempt to show them and tell them how I feel, they just…continue to treat me like I’m fine. That I’m just overreacting or it’s just a thing everyone has to deal with.

I can’t tell if this is; (1) because in my mind, my brain thinks anxiety and depression isn’t serious since those terms get thrown around all the time and so it seems like everyone deals with them and copes fine, (2) my brain is desperately trying to find a way to explain my feelings and cry out for help, or (3) just me being the most toxic person ever romanticising something horrible for attention.

Idk if any of this makes sense. I just feel like I’m a failure for not being able to do simple things. And I can’t tell if I’m valid for feeling that way because I have a serious illness that makes it difficult, or if I’m just grasping at straws in an attempt to find excuses to slack off and be lazy.

Sorry if this is toxic as hell. I mean I am toxic but I don’t want to hurt others cuz of my dumb opinions. ;-;
