☁️ ⋆ magical girl concept advice .ᐣ.ᐟ
Tumblr media
NOTES 。this is NOT a roleplaying account, nor is this a form of delusion. the owner of this account is a practitioner of witchcraft, and IRL magical girls fall under the chaos magic and pop culture magic aspect of witchcraft.
at the beginning of our journey as magical girls, or magical girl to-be's, we often pick for ourselves whether we want to be a magical girl from a pre-existing magical system or if we want to branch off into something that is more original.
although some of us may struggle with choosing and can be faced with a crossroad of magical possibilities, oftentimes called a concept crisis or a concept dilemma. this may cause some people who are new to their magical girl journey to feel lost and lacking direction, this is because a concept determines what kind of magical girl will you live as.
personally, i've encountered plenty of magical heroes who had been in a concept dilemma at least once in their journey, and myself including albeit it was just me bouncing between two concepts before i settled on a concept that i think fits me; i used to be debating with myself whether it's good to be a puella magi or a dreamcatcher cue to kyubey who still visits me sometimes. although it is not entirely impossible for you to find a concept that fits just right.
but how can one do it? how can someone figure out what kind of magical girl they should be or what they want to be? for that, we should take a few steps backwards and observe ourselves, taking on introspection and getting to know ourselves better.
this is the advice that i recommend the most because i've seen some magical heroes, and myself as well, force themselves into concepts that may feel uncomfortable or they may feel out of place in.
why do you want to become a magical girl and what type of goal do you want to achieve with it? what are you fighting for, or what are you willing to fight for? what made the idea of being and living as a magical girl fascinating for you? are you willing to go through great lengths to work towards being a magical girl?
what are your personality strengths and weaknesses, and how can you use this to your advantage when picking a concept? do you think or are you confident that you'll be able to handle and endure the responsibility of balancing civilian life and magical life despite your personality? will you be uncomfortable with your future as a magical girl? what resonates the most with you?
what kind of life do you want to lead as a magical girl, and will you be loyal to it? will it be something that is lighthearted or healing, would you like to strengthen and encourage yourself through it? do you want it to be peaceful with a life focused on helping with earthly matters, or do you want to engage in combat? do you want it to have rules? do you want to have a sense of orderliness through setting up a magical system of your own, or do you want it to be vague so that you'll find out about it as you go?
what kind of motifs do you think best represents you, or what kind of motifs can inspire you? what symbolisms feel close to your heart, what are you psychologically connected to? what themes that are recurring in your life and personality can be used as an inspiration for your motifs and magical life? what things do you want people to associate you and your concept with?
is there a way you can integrate your hobbies and interests into your concept? in what way can your hobbies and interests influence the way that you visualize the type of magical life that you want? do you want to personalize it to your own comforts and wishes or keep a magical system that is open for everyone?
considering your physical and psychological abilities, how can you apply these to your training, whether that is a physical training or magical training? what are your physical or psychological weak spots, do you have any physical disabilities that you want to improve on through magic? how can you use being a magical girl to your advantage in reinforcing your own physical and psychological weaknesses? do you want to highlight certain aspects of these as magical abilities?
overall, this can be interpreted as a self-evaluation in order to understand your desires better and know how to fit them in a better, more efficient, or personalized magical framework.
this is important in my opinion because there may be some magical girls who have forgotten why they wanted to be a magical girl in the first place due to getting lost in concept dilemmas abd trying to fit in certain systems, and i think that it can be significantly helpful to the person if they were to pause and rethink for themselves.
if you feel like you don't belong or fit into any concepts, there is definitely no harm in creating one from scratch or modifying a pre-existing concept. there are plenty of materials to work with and you can piece together the ideas that you want from the concepts you like, and your number one tool for finding a good concept, of course, is yourself.

Daily Log 7
Trying out (probably just temporarily) making short daily-ish notes about things, in an attempt to see if it helps me be more reflective or productive lol.
Activities: Finished all of the little things I carved out of avocado pits, will maybe post pictures at some point? I painted some sections (like for the eye I carved, I made part of it white for contrast, etc.) and then generally glazed them with some shiny paint stuff. Now I really wish I had more avocado pits, I was unsure at first, but I have some new ideas.. I want to try inlaying stones like I've seen in some pictures, similar to the same ones I use for eyes in my sculptures. >:3 (random google image example of the stones inside, like this sort of thing V)
Tumblr media
Low effort/small house cleaning tasks, did a few dishes, put up laundry, organized things, put up the recycling, paid bills, etc.
Still extremely sleepy and unfocused, it was hot last night and the cats woke me up multiple times so I only got a few hours of sleep and barely had any energy to do anything and also had a headache and back pain a lot of the day. ToT
Finally made an appointment I was supposed to make like 4 days ago lol..
Gave wet food to the cats (this is an ordeal because George eats way faster than Noodle, so I have to separate them and stand guard so George doesn't vacuum his up immediately then run over and try to eat all of his brothers food.. evil boy must be watched to prevent his crimes )
Edited videos for like.. 15 minutes but still have not been very productive on that front (or editing costume photos or anything) due to shoulder pain and stuff making it hard to type/use mouse much on the computer. grrbbb >:V
Spent 10 minutes looking up a weird pendant I had in my rock collection area and found out it's an old piece of costume jewelry from the 60s(?) and could be worth like $200 potentially, which is cool. I'm not sure if I'll sell it though because I do think it's quite unique and good for a prop when making wizard character inventories, etc, and I'd never be able to find anything like it again (it's this one below.. it's very weird.. looks like something a mage would have lol)
Tumblr media
Translated the tapestry text for 5 minutes, and got out some tubs of clothes to start organizing them to sell outfits and stuff online, but then felt ill and had to go lay down so now the tubs are just sitting out on the floor ghgh..
Notable sights: It rained a bit and the sky was very pretty at one point. Didn't get to go outside today due to schedule/low energy, so no clovers or anything. Saw a fat squirrel out the window once though. Also when I was looking through my "rock collection" (which also includes marbles, dice, pieces of glass, stones, gems, rubber balls, seashells, smooth wood, jewelry scraps, etc. ggh.. really more "shiny things collection" but it's mostly rocks, so) for interesting stones to possibly put into avocado pits in the future, I saw a lot of pretty rocks I hadn't thought about in a while, so that was nice.
Goals moving forward: Focus on social activities, finding new friends in the places I want to move, communicating with ones I have. Physical therapy exercises. Finish and upload videos, edit costume pictures & etc. Do the new costumes I've planned. MAKE SCULPTURES at some point, I miss them.
Notable foods: Nothing really.. but it's an asparagus day tomorrow I think so.. >:)c hehehehe... Oh, I did try a bite of corn, which I really really love corn but am not supposed to have it on my diet. The miniscule morsel was sufficiently cherished. Still craving hearty stuff despite resuming my iron supplements lol..
Tumblr media
#just posting these publicly since it feels more like I'm doing something or easier to hold yourself accountable if you make public#declarations of goals and progress or etc. .. perhaps.. for now#just want to do worldbuilding I want to work on the language I want to do these sorts of things#furstrating to just walk around in a haze all day unable to focus on mental tasks like that#One of the most important things in my entire life actually is being able to think about little elves and magic and etc.#annoying to have multiple days in a row where I make very little progress on that aside from thinking of a few little story#ideas or something here and there. I should have had the text translated already and finished the worldbuilding slideshow#already and made a game set in my world already and so on and so forth.. grr#There's another upcoming heatwave again and summer is soon so I think it will only get worsw#the more often I feel warm and sick or cant sleep due to the temperature etc.#But I am trying to catch up somehow.. a little.. lol#I think it's very common to feel like you're not making enough progress in life on the things that matter the most to you#especially during capitalism and with low income and mental/physical health issues and during a still ongoing pandemic#threat and etc. etc. etc. like.. Logically I get it and I know it's not something to be too worked up over because that's just how#probably half of the population feels at all times especially people who are in similar situations to me#but still.. my brain is like Yes i know the facts of the situation No i do not care#if someone else came to me like 'ough Im feeling so unproductive for xyz reason' I'd reassure them and talk about how#it's situational and a lot of people feel that way and it's the system we live in and blah blah#but when it's ME it's like.. No.. This Situation Is Different Of Course. Surely It Is Much More Terrible#If You Haven't Finished Your Entire ToDo List By The End Of The Week Then The World Will Explode#ANYWAY..#daily log

HOW TO GIVE PERSONALITY TO A CHARACTER
Giving personality to a character is an essential part of character development in storytelling, whether you're writing a novel, screenplay, or creating a character for a role-playing game. Here are some steps and considerations to help you give personality to your character:
Understand Their Backstory:
Start by creating a detailed backstory for your character. Where were they born? What were their childhood experiences like? What significant events have shaped their life? Understanding their past can help you determine their motivations, fears, and desires.
2. Define Their Goals and Motivations:
Characters often become more interesting when they have clear goals and motivations. What does your character want? It could be something tangible like a job or a romantic relationship, or it could be an abstract desire like happiness or freedom.
3. Determine Their Strengths and Weaknesses:
No one is perfect, and characters should reflect this. Identify your character's strengths and weaknesses. This can include physical abilities, intellectual skills, and personality traits. Flaws can make characters relatable and three-dimensional.
4. Consider Their Personality Traits:
Think about your character's personality traits. Are they introverted or extroverted? Shy or outgoing? Kind or selfish? Create a list of traits that describe their character. You can use personality frameworks like the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator or the Big Five Personality Traits as a starting point.
5. Give Them Quirks and Habits:
Quirks and habits can make a character memorable. Do they have a specific way of speaking, a unique fashion style, or an unusual hobby? These details can help bring your character to life.
6. Explore Their Relationships:
Characters don't exist in isolation. Consider how your character interacts with others. What are their relationships like with family, friends, and enemies? These relationships can reveal a lot about their personality.
7. Show, Don't Tell:
Instead of explicitly telling the audience about your character's personality, show it through their actions, dialogue, and decisions. Let the reader or viewer infer their traits based on their behavior.
8. Create Internal Conflict:
Characters with internal conflicts are often more engaging. What inner struggles does your character face? These can be related to their goals, values, or past experiences.
9. Use Character Arcs:
Consider how your character will change or grow throughout the story. Character development is often about how a character evolves in response to the events and challenges they face.
10. Seek Inspiration:
Draw inspiration from real people, other fictional characters, or even historical figures. Study how people with similar traits and backgrounds behave to inform your character's actions and reactions.
11. Write Dialogue and Inner Monologues:
Writing dialogue and inner monologues from your character's perspective can help you get inside their head and understand their thought processes and emotions.
12. Consider the Setting:
The setting of your story can influence your character's personality. For example, a character who grows up in a war-torn environment may have a different personality than one raised in a peaceful, affluent society.
13. Revise and Refine:
Don't be afraid to revise and refine your character as you write and develop your story. Characters can evolve and change as the narrative unfolds.
Remember that well-developed characters are dynamic and multi-faceted. They should feel like real people with strengths, weaknesses, and complexities. As you write and develop your character, put yourself in their shoes and think about how they would react to various situations. This will help you create a compelling and believable personality for your character.

Would you be up for writing a fanfic with Lando or Max x reader where reader also races but due to the training and harsh training her team and trainer are putting her through develops an ED (common among competitive sports and I’ve got experience 😭) maybe Reader faints or her bf finds out? No problem if not 😘 love your writing!
Those inward struggles - Max Verstappen x Driver! Reader
Plot: After having to change you diet and do more work after struggling in Singapore you spend a year on strict training away from your boyfriends knowledge. What happens when a year on and people are noticing how much more exhausted your looking after each race.
Warnings: Eating Disorder, Reader Being Sick
Tumblr media
Singapore and Qatar 2022 was extremely hard for you. Your body temperature in the car didn't regulate that well and you lost way more weight than any other driver.
You new that the 2023 season was going to be even harder with where the races were placed in the year.
Your physician wanted you to keep the weight off. The lower your body mass, the less you'd struggle with the heat. That was their thought process and that's what they deemed best for you as a woman. So of course, you trusted the team's decisions and you started to train more, and eating in a calorie deficit.
They'd come up with a plan for you to loose a safe amount in a safe amount of time, however it almost felt like a competition and you wanted to be as ready as possible.
At first it was hard, you craved sugar and grease the most but eventually once the majority was out of your system the vegetables and fruits started to taste like when you have a sip of that half stagnant water at 3am when your body decided to lower your thirst bar all the way down.
Max as a driver had also seen how much more you were with your personal trainer, and how it didn't just stop when you got home as you would often be in your home gym.
You'd serve yourself less and meals than him and he noticed these little things. Of course he did, he'd been obsessed with you since he was a 13 year old and both of you met in karting.
You started dating a year before he got into F1 quite literally being the definition of childhood romance. But this did mean that he knew you like the back of his hand.
"Baby, how about a sweet treat?" he asks holding up your fav type of cookie waving it in front of your face.
"I really shouldn't, I think the team wouldn't be happy if they found out I was eating more than i should!" you explain to him, continuing to wash the dishes from earlier that night.
"But... you didn't have much for dinner and you skipped lunch!" he asks remembering what you'd eaten throughout the day.
"Oh? So your keeping tabs on me now?" you ask looking him over with a soft yet teasing frown.
"Well, when your with me for a good portion of the day I notice" he grumbles making you turn your head to him at that tone, it wasn't one he used often.
"Huh?" you say leaving the dishes fully in the sink before placing a hand on your hip.
"Look, It's not just me noticing it but your not healthy right now!" Max offers and you turn back round to do the washing up.
Your trainer said you might feel a little tired and icky while you were on such a strict diet but once you'd got to your goal weight you'd feel better.
"Please just eat the cookie!" he smiles and you roll your eyes. You take the cookie and finish it off under his watchful eye. It tasted so good, but you almost gagged at how heavy the chocolate felt at the back of your throat and how you could feel the chunkiness of the chewed batter.
There wasn't that fresh aftertaste you been getting recently from the various fruits and veges you'd been relying on to get you eating something.
You gagged at something that used to be a delicacy too you, something that would excite you. However you finished it off to please Max. Once he was satisfied you had your filling he explained he was going out to a set with Lando, Daniel and Charles.
You'd already said you wanted to stay home today.
The minute he was out the door you were in the bathroom getting the sugary sweet treat out of your body, feeling disgusting from having had it.
The guilt was eating away at you the minute you had it, you knew just how unhappy the trainer would be. You spent the rest of the evening in the gym, weighing yourself before and after the session.
To your dismay there was no improvement and you sat in the gym crying over you predicament.
It was time for the 2023 Qatar Grand Prix, you were already struggling just walking round the paddock in the areas that didn't have aircon. When you'd done your track walk, you could feel the damp sweat on areas of your body you didn't know was possible.
However, you pushed and pushed yourself through the whole weekend, you drunk lots of water and made sure to keep up with the exercising and kept eating to a minimum.
When you'd got in the car for the first practice your hard work seemed to pay of, coming P4. Again in qualifying you'd had a fastest lap in Q2 and split the Mercedes up Q3 coming P3 behind Max and George. Both of these weren't too bad, it was in short bursts that didn't make you too hot.
However as the weekend moved forward, it was obvious to your team, to Max and to the media that you were becoming more and more exhausted. A lot of people noted that your tailored race suit was starting to bag in places it shouldn't and that you had sunken areas on your face, making you look all the more exhausted.
The Sprint shootout was awful, you placing 9th fastest overall, which compared to your earlier racing was no good for you or your team.
You only managed to move up one place to P8 in the Sprint, meaning you were in the points but you were taken to the medical tent after reporting feeling dizzy and your sight spotting.
Max had headed over to the Aston Martin garage asking for you, all the mechanics just saying you were still with medical. He rushed over, quicker than his car on a flying lap as no-body actually knew what was wrong with you.
"Y/N?" you'd heard as he'd come storming in looking around for you.
"I'm in here!" you said and he came over taking your hand in his.
"What's going on, what's wrong?" he asks looking over you.
"Nothing, just had a bit of a migraine. Apparently not enough water!" you lie, knowing the doctors were still doing tests but they said you were free to leave.
You'd left, he'd comforted you at the hotel making sure you had everything you could possibly need before you both slept away the tire of the day.
Sunday of course was a shit show. Medical still hadn't fully worked out what was wrong with you and they were debating pulling you from the race. You'd refused saying you were fine to race.
You were 20 laps in when your vision started to blur until ringing in your head occurred.
You tried to keep up with the fluids from your drinks tube but they were just heating up along with everything else in the car.
"Y/N are you okay. Medical have just deemed you should be racing. We want to retire you" your engineer comes through at lap 50.
"7 more laps, I'll be fine" you groan. You'd managed to stick to P4 for the majority of the race. But now that vision in your left eye was pretty poor you were taking turns a little more hesitantly meaning you were down in P6.
You defended from Ocon like your life depended on it, and finally pulled up to the area where the cars sit when the race it over. You sit in the car, in silence trying to get your vision back and stop shaking.
You body ran cold, you were shivering now and could feel the cold sweat in your suit, you wanted to reach up and take your helmet off more than anything but your arms didn't obey.
So you just sat there, until some Aston Martin mechanics came through with water. They helped you out and up handing you a bottle of water. But with the ringing not having stopped your vision completely went as you fell back onto the hard ground of the track.
Max once he'd found out his team and your team and pretty much everyone had kept you fainting from him a secret he had yelled, a lot, at anyone and everyone he could.
Even Lando and Oscar in the cool down room had to be at the receiving end of his wrath.
After his podium that he had tried to make as quick as possible he was right with you. Yelling at everyone while making sure you were getting the correct medical attention.
When he found out the reason behind you fainting and the fact that you drove the last few laps half sighted he was back to MAD MAX, and oh boy it wasn't a pretty sight.
He couldn't believe your team who were supposed to make sure you were in the best health had actually been hindering you and not helping you.
To say the he and Rupert his own personal trainer would be taking over from now on and he'd be hiring a private nutritionist to get you back on track to your starting F1 weight in 2022.
He loved you and would do anything for you.

pretty little dove — coriolanus snow ༘❀⋆
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
♡‧₊ warnings — nsfw, p in the v, pretty much no plot, unprotected sex, kinda dub-con(?), coryo being mean
♡‧₊ pairing — peacekeeper!coryo x fem!reader
♡‧₊ a/n — erm i'm still new to this whole warning stuff so lmk if i forgot stuff 😭
masterlist | bc: @cafekitsune
Tumblr media
when coriolanus came to district 12, he had one goal in mind, to find lucy gray
but now that he was here and had seen lucy gray again, he realized he didn't much care for her anymore
his eyes were now set on you, a poor district girl who was just trying to steal some food to feed herself until he caught you
and you fled, checking every minute or so behind you to make sure the peacekeeper wasn't following you
and you didn't see anyone thank god, you didn't know that coriolanus had let you off the hook this time but he knew he was going to have you either way
what you didn't know is that over time, as you started getting mysterious packages with food, was that coriolanus had been watching you and memorizing your schedule
some might call it stalking, but to coryo, he was just watching out for you
who knows what could happen if he left you alone, what if some creep started stalking you?
you decided to cross the district line one day, after being told by lucy gray about how nice and peaceful it was
as you walked through the tall grass, picking up a flower and looking its pretty colors, it reminded you of the certain peacekeeper who had let you go that one day and how blue his eyes were
your happiness is cut short though, seeing a shadow fall over you and looking up to see that it was the certain peacekeeper
“you want to explain yourself sweetheart?” he said, crouching down so that he could be eye to with you
“i was just trying to have some peace, y'know the district isn't the best place?” you said, not scared of him, why should you be?
he chuckled, moving a piece of your hair and standing up
“i like you, but you know acting like that and crossing the district line is going to get you in trouble, hm?”
you stood up and smiled at him
“well i'm glad you were the one who caught me” you say, getting ready to leave before coriolanus kisses you hard, catching you off guard and quickly pulling away
“well i’ll see you later dove, don't let me catch you here again” he said with a smirk, and with that he left
you were stunned, unsure what that was, you had never realized that it could be possible that a peacekeeper could like a district girl
but hey there's always a first time for everything
just like being fucked for the first time, out in the forest against a tree by the same peacekeeper who had warned you not to cross the district line again
and of course you paid no heed to his words, why would you? it's not like he was going to personally hunt you down if you did
wrong.
you also thought that he didn't like you and just wanted to turn you in
also wrong.
he was currently kissing you hard, his tongue exploring your mouth as one of his hands was rolling your nipple between his fingers, after he had ripped your thin shirt off
you cried at first when this all happened but then you felt his cock enter your soaking cunt you fell silent
this would be the first time you had ever been fucked before and it was obvious to coryo
“shit dove, loosen up for me will you? you’re so fucking tight, gripping me like a damn vice” he said, after getting his whole cock in while you kept clenching
you didn’t say a thing, you just tried to relax, but then he started moving at an unforgiving pace, breaching your cervix every so often as you gripped his shoulders, digging your nails through the fabric
your legs started shaking and you felt tears rolling down your cheeks and coryo noticed this, laughing as you continued to slam into you, chasing his release
he licked up your tears, reaching a hand between you two to rub your clit in order to make you come faster
coryo might not be the best man, but he’s willing to make sure you also get some pleasure through him (he just wants you to enjoy it so he can do it again later)
he fucks into you harder, kissing you over and over again to distract you from any pain or discomfort he might be causing you
you start to feel something building up and it scares you since you had never had the experience of being fucked by anyone, let alone someone like coryo
“oh my fucking god” you feel a knot snap as you come undone on his cock, your legs shaking even more as you cling onto to coryo for dear life
he holds you up, his touch is gentle which is quite opposite of how he fucking you and laughing at your reactions
“no more please” you say, feeling tired as coryo continued to slam into you, eliciting broken moans from you
his hips stutter and you feel something warm coat your insides, the color draining from your face as he pulls out, still holding you up and shoving his fingers in to make sure all of his cum stays in
you let out a moan as he does but he quickly takes his fingers out, shoving them in another hole, your mouth, making you taste his cum
“yeah…lick it up you dirty little slut, you gonna be mine now hm?”

What should Happen next in your Story? #Writersblock
1. Review Your Story Goals: Take a step back and remind yourself of your story's overall goals, themes, and the character arcs you've established. What message or emotions are you trying to convey? Reconnecting with your story's core can provide direction.
2. Character Development: Consider your characters' motivations, desires, and conflicts. Think about how their actions and decisions can further their development and the overall plot.
3. Conflict and Obstacles: Introduce new conflicts or obstacles that challenge your characters and move the story forward. Conflict is often a driving force in storytelling.
4. Foreshadowing: Look at earlier parts of your story for elements that can be developed or paid off in the next part. Foreshadowing can create anticipation and coherence in your narrative.
5. Brainstorm Ideas: Take a few minutes to brainstorm potential plot developments or scenarios, even if they seem far-fetched. Sometimes, these ideas can lead to more refined plot points.
6. Seek Inspiration: Read books, watch movies, or explore other art forms that inspire you. Inspiration often comes from exposure to different creative works.
7. Write Freely: Give yourself permission to write without judgment. You can always revise later. Sometimes, just getting words on the page can help you discover where your story is going.
8. Talk to Someone: Discuss your story with a friend, writing partner, or critique group. They may offer insights or ideas you haven't considered.
9. Change Perspective: Consider writing a scene from a different character's perspective or in a different setting. This can help you explore new angles and generate ideas.
10. Take a Break: Sometimes, a brief break from writing can provide clarity and fresh ideas. Go for a walk, engage in a different creative activity, or relax to clear your mind.
11. Read Writing Prompts: Look for writing prompts or exercises related to your genre or theme. These can spark new ideas and get your creative juices flowing.
12. Set a Deadline: Establish a reasonable deadline for yourself, even if it's self-imposed. The pressure of a deadline can help you focus and generate ideas.
13. Revisit Your Outline: If you have an outline, revisit it to see if you missed any planned plot points or if there are opportunities to add more depth.

Femme Fatale Guide: Realistic Tips & Tricks to Become "That Girl"
Some alternatives to having an entire day before 9am that allow you to enjoy your life and help you find pleasure in reaching your goals. Enjoy xx
Focus on a consistent sleep schedule, not select times: Structure your day around your energy, not an idealized schedule is guaranteed to not work for everyone. Wake up at 6-7 am, if you're a true early riser, and head to the gym to get your day started. Otherwise, there's no reason why waking up at 8-9am and getting in an evening-time workout session is lesser than.
Plan your days & week around your energy peaks: Figure out the times of the day when you're most focused, productive, creative, fidgety, sleepy, etc., and structure your days/weeks/month around your internal clock to the best of your ability. While this may be slightly difficult if you have a 9-5 or go to school during the day, think about what blocks of time are best dedicated to meetings, creative work, planning, routine tasks, emails, studying, etc. For those with uteruses, consider your energy throughout your cycle to help you plan the month.
Create "bookend" routines: While these will often be your morning and nighttime routines, consider how you prime and unwind your mind from your biggest tasks of the day (for most of us, this will be work, school, and chores on the weekends). Some reading, light movement, and upbeat music can create momentum before starting your daily tasks. A long walk and some journaling are a simple yet productive combination to decompress from the day.
Embrace the power of 3s: Create a daily primer routine, workday, and relaxation routine around 3 core tasks/projects/rituals. For example: Mornings can include using your 5-Minute Journal, doing a quick 10-minute meditation/yoga/dancing session to get in some movement, and spending 10 minutes reading; Your workday should be focused on completing your "Big Three" tasks, projects, or meetings of the day; Evenings can include a quick 5-10 minute planning session for the next day, a 15-60 minute walk or workout (depending on how you're feeling), and some journaling/reading time after dinner. You don't need to do it all. Consistency is key.
Create a "pleasure" and "pain" list. Own your inner masochist: Open up a fresh journal page or web document. Create two separate lists titled "Pleasure" and "Pain." The first list captures all of the simple pleasures that make your days enjoyable (from coffee rituals and your skincare routine to small work successes, daily movement, and indulgent evening treats, like a favorite TV show, a glass of wine, tea, etc.). The second list captures the tasks you regularly dread or procrastinate out of hatred and overwhelm (includes tedious or mentally-draining work tasks, meetings, chores, difficult workout sessions, necessary conversations with emotionally immature people, etc.). Looking over these two lists gives you an overview of your daily experience to help you (realistically) optimize your day for more ease and enjoyment.
Incorporate a pleasurable element into every ritual: Find ways to pair these more "painful" activities with something pleasurable. Examples include having a favorite coffee or tea while working on a draining work project, listening to a fun playlist, taking a walk/doing a face mask or massage while having a less enjoyable conversation, etc.)
Leverage habit stacking: Build habits on top of one another to set yourself up for success. Use a nearly mindless or enjoyable "cue" to spark action that results in habit formation. For example, use sipping your morning coffee as a cue to read your 10 daily pages or do some journaling. Leave your workout clothes out beside your bed with your yoga mat all laid out to make it stupidly easy to get your workout done right away. Have a playlist curated and opened to let you press "start" immediately when you need to begin your work day.
Create a capsule menu/wardrobe: Streamline your everyday meals and outfits by curating a handful of healthy breakfasts/lunches/dinners/snacks and outfits that you can put together mindlessly throughout the week. While creativity in these areas is fun, pre-determined options for busy days can help minimize decision fatigue. Know what staple groceries you need in your kitchen to make these recipes, and ensure to keep them in stock when going on your weekly grocery run. Have a few go-to outfits for work, running errands, working out, and social outings. Choose 5-10 well-fitting wardrobe staples that pair well together in the front of your closet at all times.
Become a playlist master: Curate different playlists for particular tasks, activities, and times of the day. Having playlists for creative/admin work tasks, reading, working out, cleaning, waking up, and winding down for the day can give you the energy to focus and not procrastinate or simply enjoy a necessary task more.
Focus on systems, not habits: Consider the domino effect of each practice and activity. Determine whether your current strategies and routines align with your energy, goals, and desired outcomes. Reflect on the parts of your routine that increase/decrease your energy and motivation. See how you can create a system – a pattern of consistently-practiced habits – that supports your goals and desired lifestyle that does not compromise your overall life satisfaction and well-being.
Experiment until you find an achievable balance: Focus on progress, not perfection. While there may be days or even seasons where hard work and fewer pleasures take priority, life is meant to bring you joy, peace, and satisfaction at the end of the day. Remaining in your comfort zone does you no good. However, learning ways to find pleasure in the process remains the key to long-lasting discipline and the energy necessary to maintain the determination required for success.
Sending you healthy and prosperous vibes xx

your life is yours⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🍵
Tumblr media
the fact that ur life is ur own is something that we often tend to forget but most importantly your life is all about YOU. in this post im going to talk about ways in which u can romanticize being the main character in the cinema of life~
find ur individuality : its great to take notes and inspiration from others, but when ur trying to be like someone else you've literally already failed. bcuz when u try and become someone else, you'll never be them, so ur gonna be trapped in a never ending loop of not being enough. so find the beauty in ur own uniqueness. you have ur own vibe so rly embrace that
Tumblr media
exclusivity : you know the expression dont show all ur cards at once? keeping an air of mystery is so magnetic. u dont have to constantly explain urself bcuz its enough to just exist and do you. no one has to know every little detail about u, bcuz no one ever will anyways.
with that being said dont feel the need to respond to every hate comment that u receive, bcuz the world revolves around you (in a non-pretentious way ofc)
unapologetic : tap into ur childlike self, when ur confidence in being urself wasn't constantly being chipped at. when u would just do you without the nagging fear of being perceived. tap into being unapologetically urself. bcuz thats ur beautiful and magnetizing vibe.
how you treat urself matters : be comfortable in ur own skin. treat urself as though you would treat someone that u loved unconditionally. be proud of yourself!! and take baby steps bcuz the goal is to be proud of who you are
nurture and pour into urself the way that u should. treat urself like someone that u love. nurture urself -> compliment urself -> cater to urself -> spoil urself. bcuz you'd do all those things for someone that u loved right?
improve what ur already good it : nothing is better than becoming exceptional at something. find whatever it is that is ur gift or that comes naturally to you. maybe something that you liked to do when u were younger, or something that ur good at and do often. and enhance it. master it. bcuz this sets u apart ofc which would die into my first point of individuality.
embrace change : the goal is to continuously evolve. when u think of a main character you'd often think of someone who has experienced immense change. with that being said dont hold onto the past. especially if you see it as "baggage" or "dead-weight" be able to step into the next chapters of ur life, if ur life was a book and u were stuck on the same chapter you wouldn't wanna read it would you?
"but what would they think" : stop being so consumed with what people have to say about you. a lot of people have a fear of being perceived but that fear of judgement or what other ppl think will keep you STUCK. at the end of the day someone's judgement of you has NOTHING to do with you. the people that have the most to say are always doing the least.

I want to start running...any tips?
I WAS BORN TO ANSWER THIS QUESTION. Thank you so much for asking! Unfortunately, I am a nerd about my hobbies so this got quite long.
Keep it simple ✨
Running is easy to get into; our bodies are built for it. Don’t stress over technicalities and just do what feels natural to you. My local races are full of 70-something white-haired pensioners who are kicking ass at it. Don’t let anyone tell you that running is meant to feel like dying, that’ll harm your knees, or that you absolutely need to have that specific smartwatch model to get into it. All you need is a solid pair of shoes, everything else is optional.
Medium effort is the way to go
The ideal aerobic running pace is a speed at which you’re able to hold a conversation, even if a bit winded. NO faster. If you’re able to sing along to your playlist or chat with a friend, that’s your ideal running pace. If you’re gasping or wheezing, slow down! You’ll get a bit faster as your lung capacity gets better, but that shouldn’t be a priority unless you want to train for a race. You get most of the health benefits of running just by keeping up a steady, sustainable, conversational pace.
Walking breaks are fine, actually
That’s the reason why I don’t love C25K as a beginner program — the way it’s structured sort of implies that walking breaks are something you should grow out of to become a more experienced runner. If you need to walk for a bit, go ahead.
If possible, jogging is preferable, just because the mechanics of even a glacial-pace jog are more similar to running than those of a faster power walk, so you might try switching to a jog after a bit of a walking interval. But walking is not a failure; there are serious marathon training plans out there that use walk/run intervals as a viable strategy.
(Related: picking up speed helps you keep going! If you feel like you are completely drained, try speeding up for a very short interval, then slowing back down. It’ll often give you an energy boost to keep going)
Run for time, not distance ⌚
Especially for beginners, I find that getting fixated on numbers can be counter productive, and the most important thing is to listen to your body. If you’re aiming to hit a certain mileage, you might get the urge to speed up at the end to get done faster. Instead, set yourself time-based goals and end every run with a cool down jog or walk.
SHOES!! 👟
Good running shoes are essential, and pretty much the only fitness-related purchase on which I’ll always support dropping money. If you get to the point where you’re consistently running 10 km (6 miles) each week, you’ll want to go to a running store — the kind of place where you’ll get fitted, and they’ll have you try on models and jog on a treadmill to evaluate your gait and let you know which characteristics your ideal shoe needs. I can’t stress enough how useful running store staff can be. They’re all running club nerds who LOVE getting new people into running, and they really want to help you find your ideal fit. Also get good running socks while you’re at it.
Be prepared to drop at least 100€ (or equivalent currency) but they usually have a great return policy if the model isn’t a good fit for you. Take care of your running shoes — maintenance, wearing them only for running, gentle cleansing etc — and the cushioning will last for quite a while (600km / 370miles at least). If you decide that you hate running, they’re still great for walking around. Once you find your ideal shoe model, it gets a lot easier to shop for it during end-of-season sales, or looking for online bargains etc. I love stocking on end-of-series shoes and rotating them so they’ll last even longer, and I buy online quite often! Just make sure your FIRST pair is fitted, for ideal injury prevention and joint health.
Injury prevention 💪
I’d love to still be running 10k races when I’m 70, but it takes some care to get there. When you run, you’re slamming your body weight up and down with every stride, and that might be hard on your joints if you’re not used to it. If you’re completely new to running, cap your runs at 15/20 minutes every other day. Do that even if you feel like you could keep going! If you have a good aerobic base already, you need to give your joints time to catch up with you lung capacity, and give your body time to recover. Do bodyweight exercises like lunges and planks and glute bridges to strengthen your core, legs, and hips. Dynamic stretches are great for warmups, and static stretches are better for cooling down. If you have the option, running on softer surface like grass or dirt is better than asphalt, which is better than concrete and pavements.
(If nothing of what I’ve said here makes sense to you, shoot me another ask, or look at some of the resources I’ve linked down below!)
Don't get bored! 🎶
I love running in groups. Running clubs are great. You can learn so much in a hands-on way from seriously experienced people, you can chat about gossip over a running job, and you can make some interesting friends. If you don’t have access to a running community, then personally I love just chilling on a run by myself listening to an audiobook or podcast or exploring a certain area.
Running form❓
Don’t stress about it. Just go out and move your body. Attempting to modify your ‘running form’ too quickly can do more harm than good. There ARE a few things you could pay attention to — I recommend trying to focus on one of these at a time for a minute or so, and alternate between them. After a while, it’ll start to feel natural to keep track of all of them:
1. Don’t slouch! But a slight lean forward is great.
2. Keep your shoulders pulled down and your upper back tense.
3. Swinging your arms in a way that helps with your stride is good, but I shouldn’t feel forced.
4. Even breaths, inhaling through your mouth and expiring through your nose.
5. Take turns to check with every part of your body, and relax them in turn: are your jaw and neck too tense? Are your fists tight?
6. Don’t overstride! shorter strides with quicker leg turnover are better than huge strides that feel awkward to you.
7. Use your glutes to drive up the motion of your legs, not just your quads. This can take a while to get used to, but it’s a game-changer.
8. ENGAGE YOUR CORE. This is a great skill to develop whether you work out or are just existing in the world — basically, let your inner abdominal muscles help you carry your weight forward. This is VERY intuitive once you know how to do it, but it’s hard to get a grasp of it if you don’t know what it means, so here are some resources about it.
an extremely fucking comprehensive article that improved my life and eased my big-boobs back pain
similar content but in video form
a running-specific form video
Personally, learning to do this made me feel like I unlocked a superpower. Go forth and brace.
Accessories and tips 🤓
Like I said above, the only thing I really suggest spending money on for real is running shoes. Everything else is details! However, I’m nothing if not wordy I have Thoughts about those details, too.
Run tracking: I suggest downloading Runkeeper if you want to keep track of your runs — it’s free, intuitive, and solid! If you decide to get into wearables, a low-level Garmin >>>>> anything else.
Self-care: use sunscreen and/or thick face cream as needed. Stop to sip at a public fountain if needed. Get a small fanny pack to hold your phone, keys, or lip balm if needed. If chafing is an issue, anti-glide gel is relatively affordable.
Outfits etc: I get all my running gear and clothes from Decathlon — they are in most countries and ship worldwide. I especially love this thermal shirt for colder weather
Safety: if you’re running on the road, make sure to run in the opposite direction from traffic and to wear something bright. If you run with headphones near traffic, keep the volume down, or get over-the-ear conductor headsets. I love shokz, they're fantastic.
Post-run snack: eating something small and carb-heavy within 30 mins of a workout is great for kickstarting recovery. I love dried fruit personally.
Various resources 📝
Routine basics: check out the r/running order of operations, which is a great “how to” guide to building a basic running routine. I also recommend that subreddit's wiki! Running programming gets exponentially more involved the more advanced you get, etc — if you ever have any questions, hit me up!
Dynamic stretching warmup: a quick leg swing workout to get your legs ready to go. If you’re feeling overachieving, here’s a lunge warmup routine and a how-to bodyweight squat video.
Cooldown routine! Check out Strength and Mobility, a great post-run quick cooldown routine that includes some bodyweight exercises to strengthen your hips and core. Video included.
that's all, folks! 🏃‍♀️
Sorry I got carried away! I love running. I love getting people into running. My mental health, cardiovascular system and my popping quads also love running. But FYI, some people hate running and that's also fine! If you decide it’s not for you, find something you like more. There are a lot of misconceptions out there and a lot of guilt-tripping and body shame-y rhetoric around exercising, especially aimed at women, and I want to make clear it’s all bullshit. Just have fun <3

A/N: this small thing drew inspiration from a recent conversation I had with my wonderful @indignant-alpaca, delving into the common struggles faced by students across various disciplines. Despite our diverse fields of study, we all encounter similar challenges sooner or later. Drawing from my own experiences, I decided to craft a variation focused on enhancing the learning process, using one of my favorite characters, Bakugo, as a source of inspiration 💣
MY HERO ACADEMIA MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
In class
Be actively involved in class discussions and activities. Katsuki would assertively participate, ensuring he grasps concepts firsthand.
Treat each class as a competition to stay engaged. Challenge yourself to excel, just like Bakugo's competitive spirit drives him to be the best hero.
Don't hesitate to ask questions when you're unclear. Katsuki would demand clarity, and you should too! It's a proactive approach to understanding the material.
Observe and analyze the teacher's explanations and demonstrations. Katsuki assesses his opponents' moves; similarly, analyze the "moves" in your lessons for a deeper understanding.
Take dynamic and concise notes. Katsuki strategizes in the heat of battle, and your notes should capture essential information for later review.
Studying
Approach your study sessions with intensity and focus. Katsuki's training is high-intensity, and your studies should match that energy.
Divide your study time into focused blocks for specific subjects. Master each "arc" before moving on to the next, just like Katsuki hones specific skills.
Work on problem-solving exercises regularly. Katsuki tackles various challenges, and you should too. Practical application reinforces theoretical knowledge.
Utilize interactive study methods. Katsuki learns by doing, and hands-on activities or simulations can enhance your understanding of complex topics.
Plan your study sessions strategically, focusing on high-priority subjects during peak concentration times. This approach mirrors Katsuki's tactical approach to hero battles.
Channel your inner hero by immersing yourself completely in the subject matter, just as Katsuki immerses himself in his battles.
Break down complex topics into smaller components for in-depth understanding, similar to how Katsuki analyzes quirks of his opponents to identify their weaknesses.
Learning attitude
Cultivate a hero's mindset. Set ambitious goals and view your studies as a heroic journey toward self-improvement.
Develop resilience in the face of challenges. Katsuki faces setbacks but emerges stronger. Treat academic difficulties as opportunities for growth.
Believe in your capabilities. Katsuki exudes confidence, and a strong belief in your abilities can positively impact your academic performance.
Be flexible in your approach to learning. Katsuki adapts his fighting style, and similarly, adapt your study techniques to different subjects or challenges.
Regularly reflect on your progress. Katsuki analyzes his battles for improvement; evaluate your academic journey to identify areas for growth.
Learning, Bakugo-style, means embracing the fact that doubters will always exist, no matter your achievements. Instead of seeking external validation, channel that energy into mastering your skills and gaining knowledge for your own growth. The focus should be on personal improvement and the satisfaction that comes from overcoming challenges, rather than proving yourself to others.
Periodically review past material to reinforce your knowledge. Katsuki often reflects on his battles to improve his combat strategy. Apply this concept to your studies for a solid foundation.
Test yourself regularly to identify weak points. Katsuki constantly challenges himself in battles to enhance his abilities. Use quizzes to gauge your progress and strengthen areas where you struggle.
Develop mental resilience to overcome setbacks. Katsuki faces defeats but bounces back stronger. Treat failures as stepping stones, learning from them to improve and move forward.

Creator Spotlight: @velinxi
Hello! I’m Xiao Tong Kong, better known as “Velinxi.” I’m the creator of the webcomic Countdown to Countdown and have been doing freelance artwork since I was a teenager. I love telling stories with my illustrations! Tumblr was where I first got my start as an artist, specifically a small fandom artist as a hobby… and now I’m somehow here! When I’m not trying my best to stay awake in front of my tablets, I’m usually cooking, gaming, or sleeping. Sometimes all three, in my dreams.
Check out our interview with Velinxi below!
Did you originally have a background in art? If not, how did you start?
Yeah! I’ve basically been on track to become an artist since I was a child. I went to a middle school with an emphasis on arts and a high school specializing in it. I went to SVA briefly for computer arts but dropped out to pursue freelance and webcomics after my first year.
Over the years as an artist, what or who were your biggest inspirations behind your creativity?
My biggest inspirations growing up were Yuumei and Shilin Huang, two titans on DeviantArt back in the day. They still inspire me today, but the list of inspirations has grown exponentially over the years, including artists, movies, entire art movements, etc.
What was your thought process behind the creation of your webcomic, Countdown to Countdown?
Well, Countdown to Countdown started as a passion project back when I was 15, in high school, and pretty depressed. I just wanted to draw whatever story I thought was cool, inspired by my favorite media at the time. There was a very loose beginning and outline, but I was truly just writing as I drew the story. That’s why I had to stop the comic in 2018 and restart from scratch the year after. Now, the story has a set story and a clear outline. It still has similar roots, characters, and themes of neglect, abuse, and escape—but I think the story is a lot easier to follow now. It’s got an artstyle I can actually keep up with in the long run. The origin of why CTC exists also remains the same: I simply wanted to make a story I wanted to read for myself. Which happens to be about two dumb boys with superpowers navigating a hostile world that wants them dead or caged—together.
Have you ever had an art block? If so, how did you overcome it?
Oh, all the time. It’s part of the process. Personally, though—I just have to draw through it. Every month on my Patreon, I have my patrons vote on a theme I have to draw by the end of the month, and I try my best to make it as interesting as possible. I draw quite a few—tens even, of doodles or compositions for each of these themes to try to make something that tells a story while still being aesthetically pleasing and clear. I think pushing myself like this helps with art block, really. I also do remember to take breaks and simply consume other media I like! It gets the inspiration juices flowing.
Advice you would give to an aspiring creator?
If you do one—your first webcomic should be a short, fun, messy thing. It’s not often you can get it right the first time, but you’ll certainly learn a lot through sheer experience. This goes for a lot of things in art, to be honest.
What is a medium that you have always been intrigued by but would never use yourself?
3D Animation. I briefly learned it at SVA, and I think that’s enough of that tech for me. I accept that there are some things that are truly beautiful if done right, and I am too simple and lazy for it.
What is your goal for the rest of this year?
Get Countdown to Countdown book 2 finished! And live HAHA
Who on Tumblr inspires you and why?
@yuumei-art on Tumblr, still! They’ve been a huge inspiration for digital artists and storytellers online for years. I have no doubt that many digital artists of my generation have been influenced by them, and they’re still here, making beautiful art and stories. It’s a thing to behold.
Thanks for stopping by, Velinxi! If you haven’t seen her Meet the Artist piece, be sure to check it out here. You can also follow her for more amazing art over at her Tumblr, @velinxi!

"disobeyed"
Tumblr media
TW: fingering, profanity, daddy kink, dom and sub relationship, abstinence, AFAB reader, she/her pronouns, ass-slapping, choking, degrading, overstimulation
Request: hiii hehe can you do a fic where tom catches y/n masturbating and there's like a rule with them that she can't do it without him there and he punishes her (spanking, choking, etc) he also overstimulates her and makes her cum everywhereee
Rating: mature themes ahead, mdni
WC; 1.1k
Tumblr media
Tom is strict as hell when it comes to your pleasure.
He has it practically tattooed into his mind that the only person in the relationship who should be pleasuring you is him.
which y'know isn't the worst thing, he is pretty amazing at sex, c'mon now, but tours are the hardest for you.
You're obedient most of the time, but sometimes, not very often, you feel the sensation pool between your legs, a certain heat starting up. Whenever this happened you just ignored it and ate some food, drank some water, which usually was the perfect natural remedy.
This time though, the heat pooling between your legs would not go away, even with your superstition.
You sighed, wondering what you were going to do. Touching yourself was a no-go, only tom could make you feel good. You were conflicted, it was either obey tom's rules and suffer for the rest of the night, or disobey him, and relieve yourself.
Tom was finally on his way home, ecstatic to see you and get his hands on you after so long. He had missed you so so much, every call and text was torture when he could have the real thing, but the albums tours took up too much time for him, leaving you all alone.
He hated leaving you alone. He knew how much you missed him, always clinging to him when he got back, smothering him in kisses, affection, and love.
That was a main motivator for him to keep going and get on stage, so that it could be over, the end goal being you and your sweet love.
He sighed to himself as the tour bus drove down the highway, his house first. He had specifically requested it to be, since he could not contain his excitement to see his babydoll.
He smiled as the driver pulled the bus up to his driveway, eagerly grabbing his suitcase and rushing down the stairs and to the front door.
To his surprise, it was open, which was weird to begin with, but he shrugged it off.
"babydoll?" he called out. no response. "i'm home!"
you were nowhere to be seen, and he scratched his head, wondering where you could be, when he heard a moan, a loud one.
His heart nearly broke at the sound. All this time he had been waiting for you, and you were with someone else?
He walked up the stairs, the moans getting increasingly louder as he leaned his head against the bedroom door, hearing you.
Strange, he thought. where was the other person?
he was still confuzzled, until a light went off in his brain.
You were pleasuring yourself. Something he explicitly warned you to never do.
He chuckled to himself, and opened the door quietly, seeing your fingers pounding in and out of your cunt, wet, sloppy noises spewing from your messy pussy.
he smirked, a bit angry at you, but he had to admit - the sight was hot.
Your legs began to tremble as you threw your head back, soon releasing on your fingers as he said your name.
"babydoll?" he asked, and your eyes flew open to see him standing at the doorway, shocked.
you flushed deeply, and turned your head.
"aww baby" he chuckled darkly, nearing towards you. "did you really think it was okay to disobey me?"
"n-no daddy" his ears perked up at that. "so then why?"
you began to feel bad, the reality of the situation setting in as you calmed down. "does my babydoll need a lesson from her daddy?" he smiled, getting down onto the bed and beginning to strip.
you shook your head as he tutted. "i think she does for disobeying the rules that she knew"
he shucked his pants and boxers off smoothly, and caressed your thigh, lifting it up to his waist, wrapping it around. "you wanted to be a little slut, hm? well daddy's gonna make you feel like one"
he flipped your body over, your ass now exposed to him as you whimpered in fear at what he was going to do.
he smacked your ass harshly as you yelped, beginning to cry from the stinging pain. "shut up" he grunted, smacking you again, "and take it"
you sobbed as he smacked you rougher each time as you begged for him to stop. "p-please no m-more" you whimpered.
he smirked, finding it funny his babydoll was so dumb for him. "c'mon, you can do atleast one round babygirl"
he wrapped your legs around his waist, positioning his cock at your entrance as he slowly pushed in, bottoming out in a couple seconds as you moaned at the pleasure of being filled.
he created a pace, moving in and out slowly as you whimpered and whined, his hand grabbing your neck and squeezing hard in an attempt to get you to stop.
you cried out again, your lips puffy and red from the sobbing. he grunted, his balls slapping against your ass as he pounded into you, your back arching as he pushed you further.
"o-oh y-yea" you moaned, head falling backwards onto the plush of the pillows as he let go of your throat, fully focused on how his cock was slipping in and out of you, seemingly mesmerized by the action.
your cunt was taking him so well, even after months of missing action, your pussy was still molded to fit his size, and he liked it, more than he should.
"c-cumming! cumming!" you squealed as he stopped thrusting, wondering why he cut it off. "daddy why'd y-you stop?" you asked innocently. you were so close and you thought he'd make it up to you for the slapping.
"you truly thought after fingering yourself, i would let you cum?" he gazed deep into your eyes, the brown pupils staring daggers into yours.
you nodded as he laughed cruelly. "aw im sorry babydoll, but you know the rules"
your lip quivered as you felt guilty, and he noticed this, sighing heavily. he was now the one that was conflicted.
"fine" he huffed, starting to thrust once more, holding your waist up as your clit momentarily touched his abdomen, making you jolt.
"p-please daddy!" you begged, your gummy walls drawing him and squeezing him, a telltale sign you were close already.
"do it babygirl, come on this cock" he demanded as your eyes shut in bliss, releasing on him as he did the same, grunting as he rode out his high, your walls still milking him for everything he had to give. he fucked his cum deeper into you, filling you with his seed and possible kids

10 Things I Hate About You (3) II Alexia Putellas x Reader
Tumblr media
Part 1 I Part 2 I Masterlist I Word count: 2070
The next day, you found yourself on the training pitch an hour before the actual training was supposed to start. Impatiently, you stared at the clock. Alexia should have been here ten minutes ago but there was no sign of her anywhere. Even your coach looked concerned, and you started to wonder if Alexia was the kind of person who would leave you hanging for your joint extra training. You were deep in thoughts when something scratching your leg made you look down.
A small fluffy dog was excitedly jumping up at your leg, hoping to get some pets from you. With a gasp you squatted down, stroking the golden fur of the dog; “Hi, little one.“ “Nala? Where are you?“, a voice called from farther away. In your mind, you made the connection that the dog must be called Nala but just as you were about to answer, the small dog started licking your face.
You giggled; “Excuse me?“ “Nala, no!“, the voice was now right beside you and someone tugged Nala away from you. You looked up to catch sight of Alexia in her training clothes with a look of slight stress on her face. “Oh, she’s yours?“, you asked curiously. Your teammate nodded plainly; “Yes, she’s my dog.“
Slowly, you stood up again, meeting Alexias eyes; “You’re shoelaces are open.“ To your surprise, she didn’t even look down, instead she only let out an annoyed breath; “I’m aware. I was just about to tie them when Nala ran off.“
“You should bring her more often. I’m sure the girls would love it.“, you suggested casually as you watched Alexia put the leash back on Nala and tied it to the fence. “She’s only here because my dogsitter cancelled on me today.“, Alexia explained, turning back to you. You could hear in her voice that she hated everything about this situation. Her dog, in contrast, was panting happily. “I see.“ You looked at your coach, changing the topic; “What are we supposed to do?“
“Guess what. Training.“, Alexia answered instead of your coach. It took you a lot of will power not to roll your eyes at her; “I know, genius. Still, we need to know what exercises we’re doing.“ “How about you warm up first, genius?“, Alexia hissed back at you. “I already did that while you were running late.“, you replied. Alexias eyes narrowed; “Calm down. I just told you that my dogsitter canceled. I would have been on time if it wasn’t for that little diva.“
You both looked over at Nala who had finally laid down and watched the field attentively. “You two seem to have that in common.“, you snorted. “Oh shut up.“ Your bickering was broken up by the coach who ordered; “Time for you to warm up, Alexia.“ “Sure.“, she answered, giving you one last glance and then reluctantly started to run.
When the midfielder returned from her warming up session you let out a relived sigh:” Finally.” Your attention moved from her to the man who was coaching you both:” So what’s next?” “I told you, you need to work better together, so you’re taking turns setting the other up to score goals.”, he replied in a serious tone. Slowly Alexia nodded in agreement:” With those injuries..” “We need more goal scorer.”, you ended the sentence for her.
For a moment the brunette seemed to be surprised that you were able to read her thoughts before her face turned emotionless again, fully concentrated on the task ahead of her.
With a sigh your coach looked at both of you, almost pleading:” Just do it, girls.” “Alright. You’ll try to score first, Alexia.”, you decided as you picked up the football from his hands to place it in front of you.
Nonchalantly she shrugged her shoulders: “Fine, pass me the ball then.” “Okay.” You did as the midfielder advised you but still somehow the passes did not reach her. Frustrated Alexia shouted at you:” Can you get the timing right just one time?!” “You’re way too impatient.”, you shot back equally mad. Trying to not let her emotions overtake her in front of the coach the brunette suggested: “Let’s switch positions. I’ll show you how it’s done.”
“Fine, if you think that’s better.”, you answered. Determination on her face, Alexia fixed her ponytail before telling you:” Yes, watch.” Much to both of your surprise you slowly started scoring more goals through the midfielder’s assist. The both of you were completely immersed in your game, so you did not notice your fellow teammates slowly arriving behind your back.
Excited Leila let out a loud shriek: “That’s unbelievable. Mapi look!” “What’s going on here?”, the other defender looked baffled at what was unfolding in front of them.  Amazed the older player mumbled: “This is midfield magic.”
“Told you, that’s how it’s done.”, Alexia smiled satisfied at you. Equally happy about the result the coach announced: “Now we can move on to the regular training.” “Oh my god, Mapi! Were you all seeing our little session?”, you exclaimed as you realized in the moment that your teammates already have arrived. A wide grin appeared on Mapi’s face:” Obviously, we have training here now too.” “Just great.”, you sighed.
During training Alexia was doing an exercise with the defender who was a friend to both of you:” Mapi, she’s too proud to admit that I know how it’s done properly.” “Is she?”, the defender’s eyebrow went up in amusement. Annoyed the midfielder was rolling her eyes:“Yes.” “I saw something else.”, the younger player winked at her. Interested Alexia glanced at her:“What did you saw?”
Mapi raised one eyebrow with a smirk; “I think you could be a deathly duo on the pitch if you keep working on it.“ “Yes! With you two, we could win the league. Would be nice if the winners name was not Atletico again.“, Leila added, her eyes bright with excitement. Mapi nodded; “I agree. Our time is about to come!“ Alexia grimaced unhappily, while you gave your teammates a wink; “With this team, everything is possible.“
When training was finished, you let yourself fall down onto the grass and took your cleats off. For a few moments, you let your breathing slow down and enjoyed the warm sun on your skin. Just as you were about to get up, Nala came running to you and jumped onto your lap, where it curled into a fluffy little ball. “Nala!“, Alexias voice was oozing with annoyance as she had to come get a dog a second time.
Mapi passed you with her water bottle in hand, grinning; “Seems like she found her favourite in the team.“ Alexia shook her head: “Absolutely not. I don’t know why she likes her so much.“ “Didn’t you say that Nala is a good judge of human character?“, Mapi asked innocently.
“Even she is wrong sometimes.“, Alexia replied. Mapi was lowering a voice, whispering to Alexia; “You don’t really believe that, do you? The connection you two could have on the pitch is undeniable.“ “There’s no connection.“, she answered cooly.
Even though, the two tried to be quiet, you could hear every word of their exchange and frankly, you weren’t surprised by Alexias statement. Carefully, you pushed the small dog off your lap; “Time for you to go back to Alexia, Nala.“ You stood up, giving your two teammates a weak smile; “Bye, girls. See you tomorrow for the home game.“ “Bye.“
The home game on the following day went better than expected and you had to hand it to your coach, the extra training seemed to have worked. The flow in the midfield was much better than in the previous games. In the 80th minute,
Alexia even scored after your assist, just like you have been practicing it. Without thinking, you ran to her, laughing; “See? You’re not the only one who can assist goals!“ Alexia embraced you in a tight hug and when you turned your head, you can feel her lips brushing against the corner of your mouth.
Alexia frowned; “Fine, you finally got it. But you need to work on your celebration.“ “Do you kiss everyone on the lips as part of your goal celebration?“, you asked, still laughing but you weren’t sure if it was just the adrenaline or the oddness of this situation.
“I was going to kiss you on the cheek but you turned your face.“, Alexia rolled her eyes. You pulled away from her, serious again; “No time for that, we got to keep going.“ “Sure.“, Alexia mumbled and followed you into your half of the field.
In the last of the minute of the game you scored, Mapi jumped on your back, her face beaming bright:” What a goal!” “Nah.”, you tried to play it down even though you did feel proud on the inside.
Cheekily Alexia commented: “I agree with her. Mine was better.”  “No, it was not!”, you disagreed loudly, even though her comment did not erase your smile it deepened even more because of that. Having different opinions made you two thrive now instead of blocking your football creativity. Widely grinning the midfielder replied: “Yes it was.”
Playfully annoyed you asked the dark-haired defender:” Leila, what do you think? Whose goal was better?” “As long as we win, I don’t care how pretty the goals are.”, Leila answered honestly. Amused you told her:“Very diplomatic.”  “I won’t get between you two.”, she stated with a knowing smiling.
Meanwhile Alexia begun with her captain voice to draw the attention of the teammates to her: “So team..” “Yes?”, Mapi looked expectantly at her. Equally impatient Leila interjected: “What’s up?”  “Yeah, what were you about to say, captain?”, you gave her a challenging glance. “It’s time to celebrate.” “Oh yes.”, the brunette defender cheered. “I’m in.”, Mapi nodded. A crooked smile appeared on your lips: “Me too.”
As it was a prestigious win for the team you and your teammates went wild at the club celebrating that victory. Worried Alexia observed you dancing on a table, men enjoying your drunk performance:” Is it just me or can’t she handle the alcohol?”  “Who?”, Aitana sounded confused.  Her captain had enough and moved towards you: “Whatever. Hey, come down there!”
“Oh hi, why don’t you come up?”, you giggled. Sternly the brunette hissed: “Because I still have some self-respect.”  “You’re always so serious.”, you grumbled.  For a second Alexia’s vulnerability shine through before her serious mask was on again: “I have to be.” “But what about the fun?”, you wanted to know laughing. She bit her lip: “I have fun on the pitch.” “Yes, and you had fun kissing. Oops.”, you almost tipped over.
Luckily the brunette was there to catch you: “And you can’t handle your alcohol.” “Oh please.”, you rolled your eyes.  Earnestly the Barcelona captain shook her head:“ You’re ridiculous.”  “Why don’t you annoy someone else. Let me down.”, you commanded her. Much to your surprise Alexia seemed really upset:” Because no one seems to care about how drunk you are.”  “Alexia, stop-“, you begged her. “Stop what?” “I’m fine.”, you said. “You’re obviously not.”, she scoffed.
In the morning you needed a moment to realize where you were, but Narla greeted you with her wet kisses which gave you the needed clue: „Where am I?  Narla? Hello little one.” “Seriously? You blacked out?”, Alexia was standing in the frame, crossing her arms in front of her chest. Slowly you shook your head:” No, I remember you got me to this bed.” “I did. Because you were drunk.”, the captain nodded.
Quickly you pushed the blanket away, careful not to disturb the dog:“Thanks, I should go.” “You don’t want any breakfast? I’m sure you’ll need it.”, she offered. For a moment you stopped moving:” You’ve breakfast?” “Yes, why are you so surprised?”, Alexia let out a nervous laugh.
“Because you’re so nice and I thought you hated me.”  “Who said I don’t?”, she intervened. “Your gestures, what you did last night and this morning.”, you started to explain. The captain shrugged her shoulders:” I’m just trying to help a teammate.” “Appreciate it.”, you whispered. “Because maybe I still need this teammate to score.” More serious you agreed:” Right, we’ve more to win still.”
“Maybe our coach was onto something.”, the midfielder admitted.  Before passing her you padded her shoulder for a second:“We’ll see that in the next game.”

Study Tip #2
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
How to not be overwhelmed by the vastness of your study syllabus?
I used to look at my one subject and get excited, but then I'd look at the another and another and another. And I'd get so excited to study that I wouldn't even want to study anymore. It felt like something that's too much to be done in the current moment. Or even in the whole day, week, month or year.
The way I fought through this is by sheer willpower. I do not exactly know of a hack. What I've done could be called a hack, because it worked for me perfectly but it takes a lot of will power that, let me tell you, you're definitely capable of.
Few steps that I used to not let myself feel overwhelmed before studying:
1: Let yourself actually feel overwhelmed. Don't get scared of it, don't shy away from it. Accept it. Whatever thoughts come to your mind, accept it. That's why I'm telling you to have some time set aside to analyse the syllabus. All of it. And when you do get overwhelmed, take a break, go for a walk and come back with the decision of doing what's in point 2.
Example:Lets say you have 15 chapters of English, 10 Chapters of Chemistry and 20 chapters of Biology. All of them are a little complex and lengthy. Go through the textbook, or the contents to atleast familiarise yourself with it all.
2: Now that you have good understanding of your syllabus, you must have atleast mentally broken it down into various parts. Now pick a part that you can do.
Example:Lets say you have picked up Cell Cycle from biology or you've picked up learning about particular poem from English or you've picked up Periodic Table from chemistry.
3: Often times we overestimate our boundaries specially if we're doing something for the first time, or after a long time. So, if you're panicking because you weren't able to finish the task you put for yourself (point 2), it's alright. You did great. Even if you have done is thousands times before, it's alright. Give yourself atleast 3-5 tries before judging yourself. That means, wait for the next 3-5 tasks. You'd likely be able to completely atleast 1 of them. How?
Example: Now, you realised that you weren't able to finish studying the whole chapter in a day. You're panicking but hold on, darling, let's take a deep breath, focus and will yourself to stay strong. Now, take one of these, let's say the cell cycle, break it down- 1. Read the contents of the chapter in text book.
2. Look at the diagrams, understand them, make them.
3. Read one topic at a time, let's say, Mitosis.
4. Do the questions of Mitosis.
5. Go to the next thing.
4: This time while setting how big or small that task should be, think about your last boundary: were you able to just scratch the line of the surface or were you far behind? And then set your next goal or task according to that.
One of the very important things to remember is that you shouldn't lose your hope. Everything is do-able. You just need to perhaps look at it for the 2nd or 3rd time. But you can do it.

𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐝 '𝐧 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲
FULL DISCLAIMER.
yes the challenge name is corny, I don't care 😡 anyways, the challenge that I am about to propose does include things involving the the void, however, it is not centered around the void, because we as master manifesters are able to manifest drastically outside of it. this may be for everyone, but it's not for quitters. this is a lot to read, apologies in advance, but I recommend you read this in it's entirety anyways!
DESCRIPTION.
For this challenge, we will be combining a variety of methods to change our realities for the better, anyone can participate at any time. This challenge has no 'finish date' like other challenges, however, we will have a check-in a week after our start date to take note of progress. I do not believe that time limits should be put on things that we desire, however, it can motivate consistency and holding ourselves responsible on our goals and accountable of our own progress.
GOAL.
The main goal surrounding this challenge is shifting our mindsets towards obtaining our dream lives as well as keeping a mental diet that works in our favor. What I often find with these manifestation challenges are that folks give up too early on their goals when they see no movement in regards to their /main/ goals they are constantly seeking proof from, it's important to remember that time is simply a manmade illusion and that we are all different in various ways which is a beautiful thing we must remember. And there is always movement with our manifestations, even if we can't consciously see it.
Tumblr media
𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐏 𝐎𝐍𝐄
Just like one would do when constructing a void list, create yourself a list of things you desire, as well as affirmations you want to be true. Doesn't matter how long the list is or what words you use or what language you use. Just make a list. You can include things about your dream life, dream apartment, dream financial situations, how often you enter the void, how quickly you enter the void, self-concept, mythical things, desired appearance, any kind of revision, superpowers, supernatural events, personality changes, drastic health changes etc, whatever you like. When creating your affirmations please remember to use past tense (always/used to/ have been) or present tense (right now/currently/ right this moment/ right this second/instantly/immediately). Make your affirmations/afformations/askformations as detailed and as long as you want, your subconscious always remember each and every detail. I'd also recommend throwing in some manifestation rules for yourself.
EXAMPLES.
I love my body.
My skin is perfect in every way and will always remain perfect with everything I do.
I've always been pretty.
I always have hella money in my bank account.
Why am I so lucky?
Why do I always enter the void instantly after just thinking about it once?
Everytime I fall asleep, I always wake up in the void.
I am a master at lucid dreaming and can lucid dream whenever I want just by affirming for it once.
I love how long, shiny, and healthy my hair always is.
Everytime I breathe I get more and more handsome.
Why am I so good at manifesting?
Regardless of everything, I can manifest anything I want instantly after affirming for it three times and it instantly conforms in the 3D.
I have my dream bedroom right now with blue walls, hardwood floors, a wardrobe filled with clothes from my y2k pinterest board, my ideal gaming set up, and an LG touch flat screen TV.
I can shift realities as easily as I can breathe.
The more I obsess over my desires the faster they conform in the 3D.
Even if I have negative thoughts or doubts, I can still manifest anything I want instantly.
Everything works in my favor, the law is always on my side.
I already have my desires, every thought that affirms the opposite is an illusion.
Whatever I say works, all techniques and methods work instantly for me.
Doing nothing works, and doing everything works when it comes to manifesting.
𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐏 𝐓𝐖𝐎
Give that list a name. Any name ya want, doesn't matter. Ya could even just call it your 'Void List.' My own personal list has two names 'All That I Desire' and 'Void List'. Ya could also call it 'Dream Life,' 'I Want,' etc.
𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐏 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄
Create an affirmation that suggests you have everything on that list. Here are some examples, but do not use these to limit any other ideas you may have or what affirmations may sound most natural to you.
I have everything on [insert name list].
I manifested everything on my list instantly and easily.
I effortlessly have everything on my list.
Everytime I breathe something from my list manifests instantly.
I have my dream life.
I already have everything I want. Everything in my life is perfect.
I already have everything on [insert name list].
Regardless of everything, I have everything on [insert name list].
Isn't it wonderful?
I literally have everything on my list right now.
Everything on my list has already manifested.
My personal affirmation: Regardless of everything, I have All That I Desire.
𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐏 𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑
Use Psych-K to affirm this affirmation for 10 minutes (at least), or just affirm for ten minutes without Psych-K. This can be done multiple times through each day, don't limit yourself to just a single session if you don't want to, do whatever makes you feel fulfilled. I would recommend trying to do this at least once per day.
𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐏 𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄
Outside of Psych-K or your focused affirming, I want you to use this affirmation whenever you think about anything you desire, whenever you have doubts about anything, whenever you have negative thoughts, or you can just robotically affirm this throughout the entirety of your day. It's okay to have opposing thoughts, but you need to ignore them, you cannot give them anymore attention, do not entertain them, and affirm your desires. Your umbrella affirmation is your backbone, it is your guardian angel. And if you have moments when you don't think you can stop those spiraling thoughts, take your umbrella affirmation or any other affirmation that benefits you and say it aloud with authority, over and over for 2-3 minutes. You can't say something aloud while simultaneously thinking another thing. Go RIGHT for your affirmation, we don't care about the old story anymore.
The most important thing for this step is to stop yourself from thinking the opposite of what you desire, and it's okay if you have a negative thought or two, but quickly catch yourself before you can spiral or fall back into the victim mentality. Remind yourself— no matter if you have negative thoughts, you always get what you want and everything's going to be okay. It's important to be gentle with your thoughts but also assertive when learning something new.
With robotic affirming, feelings don't matter at that time, it's simply for saturation purposes and eventually the feelings will develop on their own with robotically affirming. And if you're like me, you might just wanna flood your head with robotic affirmin' so you can stop negatives and doubts or whatever from even having the chance to come to the surface. However, if needed, feel free to affirm with authority, attitude, sass, or whatever makes you feel more powerful.
The more you repeat, the more likely you will repeat the affirmation without even realizing. I often find that robotic affirming often leads me to waking up and that affirmation is the first thought I think, that's just how saturating it can be. And with robotic affirming (affirming all damn day or at least when I remember to) and a decent mental diet, manifestations will start popping up on that very same day.
TIP: Feel free to look over your list whenever you want, as many times as you want. And if you have moments where you wanna get specific, just refer to your list and affirm that particular affirmation that you want to become true.
TIP: Just woke up? Affirm. Eating? Affirm. Have break time? Affirm. Have a moment to chill? Affirm. Taking a shower? Affirm. Using the bathroom? Affirm. Doing your make-up? Affirm. Getting dressed? Affirm. Getting ready for work/school? Affirm. Watching something you're not really paying attention to on TV? Affirm. Watching YouTube videos? Affirm. Affirm. Affirm. Affirm. Affirm.
𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐏 𝐒𝐈𝐗
(Optional) If applicable, and if you have trouble with robotic affirming or if ya just don't feel like it, try out recording your affirmation and looping it. There are multiple applications to be used such as Self-Pause and Parrot. I often do this myself using my bluetooth earbuds with the volume at a low enough level to hear them but not loud enough to distract me from other things. And because of who I am, I will often put overhead headphones over my bluetooth headphones to listen to music or audiobooks (that's a lot, ik but its like listening to subliminals but you can change what you're watching/listening to). Or you can play the looped affirmation at a very low volume on speaker from any kind of device while going about your day. And just because you're looping your affirmation in the background, it does NOT give you permission to affirm the opposite of your desires, you need to hold yourself accountable for the thoughts you are thinking. You control your thoughts, your thoughts don't control you.
If you do all of these things, monitoring your inner thoughts, and your inner conversations, you are bound to see or feel changes around you as well as inside of you, that's the law. Things change according to our own assumptions and how strict we are with our conscious thoughts. This way, not only are you simultaneously changing your thoughts about the void, but you are also manifesting what you want to change with the void in the first place simultaneously. With this in mind, you manifest outside of the void, a lot of things on your list, and when you do consciously wake up in the void, you'll be able to manifest the rest just by saying you've got everything on your list. It's foolproof with guaranteed success as long as you continue to hold yourself accountable and remain consistent.
Addressing Some Potential Doubts About The List Method or Why This Challenge 'Might' Not Work
Some of you may be wondering, how will my subconscious know what's on my list and how will it associate everything on my list with the name of the list that I give it? The subconscious remembers everything you do, even things that you don't consciously remember. It's constantly taking notes on everything that's said which is why, precisely, it's important to watch what you're thinking as well as what you're saying aloud. You know exactly what you mean when you're referencing certain things. And think of it like this, you are already aware that the void is within us, and when you're doing this challenge, you're constantly feeding this new information into the void that's already inside of you. The only thing you need to do is correct your conscious thoughts to think in favor of your desires. Also, there are various perks that come with this challenge— you're able to manifest all types of things all at once so you don't need to limit yourself to changing one thing at a time, the affirmations and desires in your list are immediately saved into your subconscious and all you have to do is repeat the umbrella affirmation you chose, whenever you feel particularly doubtful/negative about a certain subject you can easily go back to reread what affirmations you wrote OR you can just continue robotically affirming your umbrella affirmation, and finally, you are also practicing detachment from your goals because you've pretty much wrote them down, and may have consciously forgot about them, but kept affirming that everything on your list has already manifested. And yes, you may have goals you are consistently checking for in the 3D, but with this challenge you force consistency and saturation of the mind.
TIP: if you have certain affirmations on your list that involve shifting, the void, or anything like that— i.e. "If I say an affirmation 3 times in a row it instantly manifests and conforms in the 3D." Feel free to try it out during the challenge, but do NOT, I repeat, do NOT get discouraged if it does not grant your desired results immediately. Try to be unbothered and go back to affirming your umbrella affirmation. But if you can't do that and you end up having a moment where you're sad or pissed off, give yourself a second to feel that emotion and then I want you to be stubborn and go find that affirmation you want to become true and repeat it to yourself with authority for 2-3 minutes, say it aloud or in your head, whatever makes you feel it. After that, congratulate yourself for not giving up, because who knows, maybe your manifestation did manifest in the 3D but it's a little delayed and will appear later that night or even the day after.... Don't sell yourself short. If you want something badly enough, I know you are willing to do whatever it takes to get it.
TIP: Feel free to combine this with the lullaby method, SATs, mediation and anything else you can think of.
𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍.
It's okay to start this whenever you wish, but procrastination is our worst enemy, start right now. Have fun, get excited, shit's about to change in your life, I guarantee it. Make your list, choose your umbrella affirmation, affirm like a maniac, build your foundation, and make life easier on yourself. Results are guaranteed.
If you have any questions in regards to anything in this post, feel free to send in an ask, or if you want an immediate answer feel free to dm me with your questions! I will try and help the best way I can.

People walk among the same earth constantly. However the thing that sets us apart is the path we all take. Sometimes it's the same, other times it's the opposite. Some of us are meant for higher things while some are meant to suffer until things start to look up for us all.
In a lifetime sometimes we won’t ever get the chance to see ourselves reach the peak we want. There are struggles we all face that will cause setbacks in the path we are taking. Only the ones who are strong enough to see the road to the end make it out alive.
There will always be those out there who will achieve their goals in life some way or another. Those are the ones who don’t allow those setbacks to dictate their entire life. And maybe along the way someone will come along to help you grow stronger. Whether it’s one person or a whole group. You will see to the end of your path one way or another.
“Most often than not you will be working on filing. If we are understaffed on a day, like today, we might send you in to write reports on the medicine we have already administered.” Suho, the lady who was placed as your preceptor, explained to you.
You had a grateful smile on your face, happy to finally get to start working. While it wasn’t the place you had been hoping for, you knew the pay was well for the kind of student debts you had. The pharmaceutical lab was meant to administer different kinds of medicines to the people who would sign up for a trial. They did the test on patients before they were given out to people.
While you were being placed on the front desk for the most part, you knew you would need to work your way up to the spot you wanted and you were more than happy to reach for it.
“What kind of medicine do you guys make?” You asked, trying to think about all that you had read on the company's website.
It didn’t really give much about what they focus on so you found it really odd that they were so wide when it came to the things they were trying to cure.
“You applied here and don't even know?” Suho frowned, looking at you appalled.
“I tried asking at the interview but they just gave me vague answers.” You explained. “The website doesn't tell you anything either.”
“We are very on top of the things we do here at HYBE.” She began to tell you. “There aren’t many people we trust to be hired onto the team so consider yourself lucky to be apart of it.”
“We make sure that our patients here are taken care of because we are a company that is trying hard to reach their goals. Because of that we are detail oriented when it comes to the patients we accept. Not just anyone can be a patient here.”
While she did a bit more about the kind of company you were working at, it still didn’t really tell you about what it was you were working for. You didn’t choose to question it, knowing that the paycheck they gave you was a luxury for a lot of people.
“Here are some of your patients for the day. They have already been given the medicine, it's up to you to check up on them for daily research.” You took the six files the lady handed you, nodding your head.
You placed them onto the small desk area they had given you before going through them to check on the appointment times and ordering them correctly. The first one on your list should be waiting in the lobby by now so you were quick to take the papers and move along to the waiting room.
“Mrs. Han?” You called, a smile on your face.
An older woman with a younger one came to a stand, slowly shuffling over to where you waited for them at the door.
“Hello, Mrs. Han. How are you today?” You asked politely, leading the two women towards the scale.
“I'm doing great! I'm so excited to share some news about the medicine you gave me.” The older woman exclaimed, a bright smile on her face.
You hummed, keeping the friendly look as you wrote down her weight on the paper. You told them to follow you to a patient room to speak to her privately.
“I see it was something for your dementia.” You spoke, moving the laptop in the room closer so you could take down everything the lady would tell you. “Is everything going okay?”
“It's wonderful!” The other lady exclaimed for her mother. At least you assumed it was her daughter from the notes that people already had written for you. Her daughter was the one who was in charge of all Mrs. Han’s things.
“You would not believe it but it's almost as though she's regressed in her illness! Mother was in a terrible state when she was offered this trial medicine. She took it and suddenly it was almost like she went back to before it grew to be terrible.”
You tried to write down what the woman was saying, but you knew there were more questions to ask before concluding the entire meeting.
“Maybe she can get back to normal if she takes more.” The daughter spoke in a hopeful tone.
“One step at a time, Mrs. Byun.” You kept the smile on your face so as to not let them think they weren’t going to find the help they needed. “We have to see how long this medicine will last first before giving her more doses.” You explained.
“Also, memory loss is nothing to be overly worried about if it's on occasion. Even I forget something's as well.” You told them.
If there was one thing you studied, it was medicine. You knew the consequences of taking too much or too little. This company was in the slow movement of developing them so they had to be careful about how they administered their projects. People probably came in thinking they could get more if they worked perfectly the first time. However these kinds of things were tests, not the real deal.
“Of course.” Mrs. Byun nodded in understanding.
The rest of the visit went by smoothly as you took down all the older woman’s rants and aches about the whole thing. With these kinds of surveys it was really about asking how each patient felt even if it was the smallest of things. You wouldn’t be able to tell if it had to do with the medicine or with something else.
As you told Mrs. Han and her daughter goodbye, scheduling the next appointment, the rest of you patient trickled in one-by-one.
There was a man who had come in for a bad liver–he was an avid drinker–so the medicine was for corrosion to that organ. While you really tried not to say something about it, you felt annoyed that the man had explained that he still had a drink every once in a while. He was like Mrs. Han, the medicine was doing wonders.
There was a child who had chickenpox, who’s mother explained that the rash that had taken over her son’s body was slowly dwindling down. Another lady who had come in for amnesia which only said that her memory was returning to before she had gotten into an accident. The others had external injuries like scrapes of their knees or a deep cut that needed stitches. From what you could see they were just given some sort of pain medication. They had expressed that their wounds didn’t hurt and it was actually healing at a fast rate.
“They really work with a lot of medicine.” You spoke to yourself as you looked over the last file you had. You frowned your eyebrows when you saw the patient was in another level of the building. It was the lower levels, which meant in the basement of sorts. From what you knew that was where the labs were.
“That's odd.” You tilted your head in confusion but made your way over to the elevators anyway. With your ID card, you pressed onto one of the underground levels, leaning back against the metal wall. When the doors opened, you were met with a lobby that had a couple of different doctors moving about.
Following the signs, you found the door that led to some of the rooms patients were stationed in. You showed the security guard your ID explaining you were in that level of the building to check up on a patient. He took a look at the file you had in your hand, humming as he opened a door to the back for you.
Overlooking the file once more to make sure you had the right number, you quietly counted the doors. As you passed by one, you felt a shiver go down your back causing you to halt in your tracks. The number three stared back at you as a weird feeling flowed over your shoulders. It felt like something was brushing up against them, pushing at your form.
You quickly turned back around making your way to the room next to it. You checked over the file one more time. It didn’t really give you much about the medicine the patient had been given. All it said was that they were someone who was meant to be staying in the building for better observation. There were a couple of papers that you seemed to be missing, you noticed.
Before opening the door, you knocked politely. “Hello?” You softly called as you stuck your head in.
The only light on was the bedside lamp which illuminated the dark room. You frowned at the aspect of there being no windows that would allow light from outside to come in. As you walked in closer, you let go of the door to have it shut by itself. “Mr. Jeon?”
“Who are you?” You gasped, nearly tripping on your feet from the hard flinch you felt take over.
You took in the man who was standing behind you, trying to regulate your breathing. He only looked at you with a raised brow, his expression passive. You took up his large form, noticing the blue scrubs he wore were almost tight around his physic. He didn’t wear any shoes–was even foregoing to wear socks.
“Oh,” You said as your breath returned to your lungs. “My name is (Y/N). Today is my first day so I guess I'll be your new nurse.” You explained to him.
“What are you doing here?” As he took a step closer to you, you subconsciously took one back. “You don't deserve to be here.” His voice went quiet as his eyes turned soft.
Your eyebrows furrowed as you took in his worried expression, smiling awkwardly as you patted your hands to wipe the sweat forming on them.
“I needed a job. Got school debt to pay off.” You tried to joke with him. He looked too serious, which made you anxious to touch him for his vitals. “I'm here to do a check up. Would you mind?” You asked, trying to build up the courage to get close to him.
He didn’t say anything, just poked his cheek with his tongue, moving to the bed. You smiled in thanks, looking around the room to find the equipment needed. You purse your lips when you realize you would need to check his heart rate manually. Finding the padding needed to place around his arm, you made your way over to the man.
He flinched back as your hands moved to touch his arm, causing you to stop. “I’m going to check your heart rate.” You explained, remembering that you were the kind of person to make sure people knew what it was you were going to do.
As he kept his dark eyes on you, he allowed you to softly touch his scrub sleeve as you moved the fabric up to place the padding in the right area of the arm. You moved your stethoscope from around your neck. “It’s going to be a bit cold.” You whispered.
As you moved on with the check up, you watched the numbers on the dial move carefully counting to yourself. When you finished getting what you needed, you quickly let go of the air and moved the padding off his arm. As you did that, your eyes seemed to blur over the ink the man had.
Your fingers gently squeezed his bicep, softly moving down the length of his arm. Your gaze drifted over each color and picture the man had, trying to figure out where one picture ended and the next started. As your fingers glided over his pulse on his wrists, the man involuntarily shivered at the touch.
“Sorry.” You quickly pulled back, looking back up at him. “Your tattoos are really nice. I've never seen so many.” You bashfully smiled at him.
He only looked at you curiously, his big eyes taking in your facial expressions. It made you feel flustered as he looked at you so deeply, causing you to lick your lips and look away.
“You have a very strong heart. Very good blood flow.” You told him, turning away to write down his vitals. He slowly got off the bed and moved closer to you.
“It doesn't say which medicine you've been taking which is really weird.” You frowned, looking over all the papers that you were given. There were some things missing but you assumed the high ups were looking over it.
“You're different.” You jumped at the voice that spoke directly behind you. Turning around you tilted your head up at the man.
“How so?” You asked.
“You're nice.” The boy squinted his eyes at you, like he was trying to figure you out.
“Are the others not?” You frowned.
“Not the ones who come down here.” He told you.
You tried to quickly cover up your upset expression, looking up at the doe-eyed man with a smile. “Well I hope I'm able to come down here again.” You took up the paper you had written on. There wasn’t much explanation on what you had to ask him so you chose to go back up and see if you could figure out what else to do.
“Have a good day, Mr. Jeon.” You smiled brightly, waving from the door.
Jungkook tilted his head to the side as a warmth spread through his chest from your words. Not a day had gone by that he wasn't thinking about the dreaded place as though it was a sentence in hell. He had never met someone like you; someone who spoke to him as though he too was a person.
It made him light headed to think about the way your words affected him. He couldn't think of the last time someone had ever uttered those kinds of words to him. It had been so long-alone thinking this was what life was going to be like for the rest of his life. But suddenly things changed in the blink of an eye.
“Maybe.”
