We've lost a great artist due to the abusive use of psychoactive substances. And it repeats all over. Not just with great artists, but with people who could be and do "great " for the progress of the world. All the time. There is a lot of prejudice over addiction, but it is a fact that despite the scenarios being extremely similar for all addicts, the only thing that changes is the character. Today, clean, I can say that anesthetizing life is a bad choice, worse is your life and the things you are going through. I never got over the loss of Amy, or some members of Narcotics Anonymous, or some friends who didn't find a path to recovery. It's not about being straight, it's about learning a new way of living. It's possible. Just for today.

Ps: I respect anyone's free will, under any circumstances, after all I defend the world and the world needs people. If you choose to live using it, ok. We could call it "normotic".

It's not about defending anything, it's just a rant from someone who's already lost people and things* too much.

I go on everyday, thinking about you. I still feel like I need you. I still have dreams where I use you. I have anxiety because I don’t have you. I panic because I’ve had no choice but to stay away. I hate myself for letting you get to me the ways you did.

You have ruined my life and my self worth. You ruined my ways of living. It became all about you. I wish things were different. I wish you never intruded into my life. I wish I would’ve kept my cool and continued to say no to you. But I let myself fall further into my grieving & get lost into my emotions. I was suffocating in my darkness, vulnerable when you came along and suffocated me with your toxicity. Knowing I wasn’t too strong. You made your way into my system. You attacked me from the inside out. I let you numb the bitter & broken parts of me.

But now you are gone. & I have washed my hands of you. I wish you the best of luck, trying to tackle me again. See I’ve done outgrown you, & you can’t touch me now.”
