Chapter 10 - These Feelings
"Y/N, you look way too happy." Taeil muttered.
"Do you finally have a boyfriend?" Jinkyoung, Taeil's wife and your sister-in-law, questioned, eyeing you suspiciously.
"I'm not dating anyone, Taeil-oppa." You replied, rolling your eyes. You were holding your infant niece with a smile on your lips. "Just friends."
"Uh huh." Jinkyoung rolled her eyes, a smile on her lips. "You can tell me."
"Nope. Not with Taeil around." You laughed. "Can't have him playing the big brother card on me."
"So there is a guy!" Taeil exclaimed, taking the baby from your arms, swinging her around before putting her down in her crib.
"Yeah, you might know him." You smirked, reaching for your coffee mug.
"Oh? One of the guys in your apartment building?" Taeil snorted.
"Maybe." You shrugged.
"As long as it's not someone that Jinkyoung introduced you to." Taeil laughed, his wife throwing a pillow at him. "If it's one of the guys in your building, then I'll know soon enough."
You huffed. You had to tell him sometime, right? He was bound to find out that you were seeing one of his employees. But you didn't know what to call the relationship. Were you and Mark dating? Hooking up? Friends with benefits?
"If I tell you, are you going to harass him like you did with my last ex?" You asked, finishing your coffee. "I really like him, oppa. Please don't ruin things for me."
Taeil nodded. "Of course I won't. All I want is for you to be happy."
"Thanks." You smiled.
"So who is it?" Jinkyoung interjected.
"It's my neighbor across the hall and one of oppa's employees." You admitted. "Mark Lee."
"Okay..." Jinkyoung raised her eyebrow. "Did he seduce you?"
"Eonni!" You pouted, shaking your head. "Not like that. It's complicated."
"Give me some details, kiddo." Taeil ordered.
"He was just helping me with my research for my new novel and then things just...kinda happened between us." You said, shrugging.
"So...you're sleeping together." Jinkyoung mumbled.
"No!" You exclaimed. "I mean, we've slept together once... There's no label on it yet."
"Hmm..." Taeil sighed. "Are you happy with him?"
"Well, we're still figuring things out." You sighed. "But yeah, I think so."
"Do I need to give Mark a stern talking to when I see him in the office?" Your brother mused.
"Oppa," You glared at him. "You promised me that you wouldn't bother him."
"Alright, alright. I won't go all prosecutor on him." He conceded. "So, has he taken you out on any dates yet?"
You nodded your head. "Yeah. We went to the movies and out to eat a couple of times. We've been spending a lot of time together recently."
"And how's that going?" Jinkyoung probed.
"Great." You grinned. "He's also helping me with my new novel. We never run out of things to talk about."
"Does he treat you well?" Taeil inquired.
"More than well." You blushed, pouring yourself more coffee.
Jinkyoung and Taeil shared a knowing look.
"You like him." Jinkyoung stated.
"I do." You nodded.
"Good." She grinned. "Now I won't have to worry about finding someone for you anymore."
"Thank god." You rolled your eyes.
"I'm kidding." She winked. "If you like him, that's fine by me. As long as you're happy, that's all that matters."
"Thanks, sis." You smiled.
"Alright, so does anyone want some cake?" Taeil asked, walking towards the kitchen.
"Hell yes." Everyone cheered, grabbing plates and forks.
After everyone was finished eating, you cleaned up the kitchen, sitting down on the couch next to Jinkyoung.
"So, what is it about this Mark guy that makes you fall for him?" She asked.
"We haven't known each other very long." You shrugged. "But...he treats me better than anyone ever has. And he really listens to me when I talk to him. Even if it's something boring or mundane, he'll listen and give me a response that shows that he actually cares."
"That's sweet." Jinkyoung smiled. "I bet you two are great together."
"We're definitely getting along better than any other people I've dated." You smiled. "This is the first time I've ever felt this way, eonni. It feels good."
"I'm glad." She leaned in closer to you, placing her arm around your shoulders. "You deserve to be happy."
You smiled softly, nodding your head.
It wasn't often that Jinkyoung talked to you this way. Most of the time, she kept quiet, staying quiet unless she absolutely needed to speak.
"And if it doesn't work out with Mark?" She asked, brushing your hair out of your face.
"Then it won't." You said, resting your head on her shoulder.
She gave you a hug. "Whatever happens, you'll always have me and your brother to support you."
"You're the best sister-in-law, you know that? I love you." You kissed her cheek.
"Love you too." She giggled. "Now hurry up and finish that novel. I wanna read it."
"I will, I promise." You chuckled, standing up to grab your coat.
Tumblr media
The next morning, you stood outside of Mark's apartment door, knocking gently on the wooden frame.
A moment later, the door opened, revealing Mark standing in front of you. His black hair was styled neatly, falling slightly onto his forehead. His brown eyes sparkled as they gazed at you, making you feel weak in the knees.
"Morning." He greeted, giving you a peck on the lips.
"Morning." You returned, breathing heavily. "You're wearing glasses today."
"Eh?" He tilted his head. "Why?"
"They look good on you." You admitted.
He looked surprised, pulling them off and holding them in his hand. "They really do?"
"Yeah, they do." You laughed.
"Did you have plans yesterday?" Mark asked as he closed the door behind you. "You were pretty silent."
"I was at my brother's house." You explained. "I went to go play with my cute niece and then Taeil interrogated me about my love life. I told him about us, but he made me promise that I'd make sure that you weren't messing with me."
Mark chuckled, placing his hands in his pockets. "How did he react?"
"He wanted to give you a lecture." You sighed. "But I told him not to bother you."
"Well, I'm flattered." Mark smiled, bending down to place a kiss on your lips. "I'm glad he respects you."
"Me too." You grinned. "He's my brother after all."
Mark wrapped his arms around your waist, placing a small kiss on your nose. "Let's get out of here. The weather is nice today."
"Sounds good to me." You giggled, smiling brightly. "What do you have planned for today?"
"Nothing much." He shrugged. "You up for a walk?"
"Sure." You nodded. "I could use some fresh air."
"Awesome." Mark grabbed your hand, leading you out of the apartment building.
The sun was shining brightly, casting beautiful shadows on the buildings. Birds were chirping loudly in the trees, carrying on their daily activities. You walked alongside Mark, admiring the view of downtown Seoul. Everything seemed peaceful and calm; it was almost like nothing bad could happen on a day like today.
"Let me ask you something.” Mark said, placing his hand on your lower back. “How would you describe your relationship with me? Are we just having fun and hooking up?"
You stopped in your tracks, looking at him. "I think we're more than that." You whispered. "It's hard to explain exactly why. But we seem to fit together."
"Mmm, I agree." Mark nodded, wrapping an arm around your waist. "There's chemistry between us."
"And you feel it too?" You asked, smiling widely.
"Most definitely." He smiled.
“You don’t mind being with an old woman like me?” You joked, trying to break the tension.
“Age ain’t nothin’ but a number.” Mark retorted.
“Mhm.” You hummed. “So, do you have anything else you’d like to ask me? Or do you want to keep flirting with me until we reach our destination?”
Mark tangled his fingers with yours. “I really do like you, Y/N.” He admitted. “And I’m happy with whatever kind of relationship we decide to have with each other. I can’t even begin to imagine what it must be like to finally find someone that you’re truly compatible with. So yeah, whatever we end up doing…I’ll support you 100%.”
You let out a soft laugh. “Well, thank you.” You wrapped your arm around his neck, bringing his head down for another kiss.
“I’ve gotta say, though.” Mark chuckled as you pulled away from him. “I like these kisses a whole lot better when you’re naked.”
“Mmm, I guess you’ll just have to wait until later, huh?” You teased.
Mark flashed you a sexy grin. “Oh, I intend to.”
You both broke into laughter, beginning to walk again.
You looked over at Mark, seeing him staring at you intensely. "I really am happy with you, Mark." You breathed. "Being with you is amazing. I know this started off as just research for my novel but as I spend more time with you, I'm starting to realize that I don't want this to stop. I really like being with you."
Mark let out a sigh, breaking eye contact. "Same goes for me. Being with you has made me feel more alive than I've felt in a long time."
You stopped in your tracks, turning around to face him. "You...really mean that?"
Mark took a step forward, placing a finger under your chin, forcing you to look at him. "Yes. More than you could possibly imagine."
"Wow..." You swallowed, feeling butterflies in your stomach. "What is this feeling? I've never experienced anything like it before."
"Like what?" Mark cupped your cheeks, tilting your head up.
"Everything feels different now." You confessed. "The sun seems brighter. My heart beats faster. It's like...the universe has been waiting for me to meet you and you alone. I can't even put it into words."
Mark smiled softly. "Y/N...you make me feel the same way."
"I want to experience everything with you." You said, placing a gentle kiss on his lips. "From sunrise to sunset."
Mark wrapped his arms around your waist, planting a kiss on your temple. "Does that mean you’ve fallen in love with me?”
“I think I might have.” You whispered.
“You think?” He teased.
“Shh…this is the closest you’ll ever get to hearing me admit it.” You chuckled.
Mark wrapped an arm around your shoulders, taking your hand. "Then I’ll wait until you say it. For as long as you need me to. Because I don’t care how long it takes, I’m gonna hear you say those three little words to me."
Your breath hitched as you watched him move closer to you.
“If you still feel that way in a few months, or even years, I’ll be right here, waiting for you.” He continued, kissing you lightly on the lips. “But for now…let’s go home.”
“Okay.” You smiled, placing your hand in his.
The two of you walked side by side, enjoying the day. When you arrived back at your apartment building, you stepped out of Mark’s embrace.
“Thank you so much for walking with me.” You smiled.
“Anytime.” Mark replied, placing his hand on the small of your back. “And I hope you enjoyed yourself.”
“Of course I did.” You gushed. You turned to head into your apartment but Mark grabbed your hand. "Mark?"
"Do you want to spend the night?" Mark asked. "Or maybe just a little while longer? Maybe watch a movie, cuddle, maybe fool around a bit?"
You let out a laugh, letting him tug you over to his door. "I thought you'd never ask."

Season 2 ideas - Jeremy, Liane, Joshua, Belladonna and Nikolai are all accidentally stuck in the enchanted forest.
Tumblr media
—They have to find a way back home but on their way home they stop by a few stops, meeting old faces and a couple of new ones 👀 meanwhile in the town they have their own little spots of trouble.
Side-note: Idk if we will do another AU season 🤷‍♀️ yet. I still wanna continue the Wandavision one 💘
For the OUAT: We might change some things because i was thinking about Michelle being in the forest as well, she hasn’t been washed over during the first curse. Like maybe Michelle was in hiding after all theses years once the curse broke in real time and makes her grand return saving the day.
———
In the enchanted forest 🌳
Jeremy ties to men up to the tree, shining his hook and asks, “What do you want? Why do you want to go to our town?”
The older brother spat, “Because you have something of ours. Well, more importantly your husband does.”
“Oh god, what did he do now?”
The young brother added, “He has our sister locked in a pendant! Every time someone uses it, it drains her magic.”
Liane asked, “What’s her name?”
“Stella..he lost her to a duel with Gold’s husband..we want her back!”
Meanwhile Belladonna was looking at the young pretty blonde who played with her sword like it was a magical stick. They found her when they landed here and her mother requested she followed them. Joshua watched her eyes line and snorted as his friend told him to shut it.
“I didn’t say anything.” He replied.
“And I said shut it.” She repeated.
Nikolai gave both of them a look and half smiled sheepishly noticing how her son reminded her of his father. Even better, Belladonna reminded him of Cole at times, then he looked back at the brothers.
Nikolai asked, “What are your names?”
“Why do you want to know?” Asked the young one.
Jeremy responded for him, “My first mate asked a question. What are your names? Give me one other reason why I should let you go and not let you be eaten by Ogres.”
“Thiego and Leonardo, pirate. I don’t need to give you another reason onto why..”
“Why?”
“There is nothing for us in this land. Cora is asking us to help her out of a reward.”
“What reward?”
“Go to this new land, get revenge on your husband and most importantly, restore our family.”
Jeremy looked at his niece and nephew at the last part. Joshua was looking into the guys bags and scars on their chins, noticing deep daggers as he mutters, “Stabbington Brothers?”
Nikolai looked at his son raised an eyebrow, “You know them?
Belladonna stopped looking at the blonde to look at the others saying, “It’s from Tangled.”
Liane blinked confused wondering about where is Rapunzel and her man, Flynn Rider, at if theses guys are here.
Jeremy mumbled, “Of course you’ve seen that movie too. At least it’s better that Ames’s movie.”
He gasped in response, “Hey! That movie depicted us horribly..”
Joshua joked, “Yeah, dad, all you did was kiss mom once after one single encounter while she was asleep.”
Bella snorted, “Well my movie they made my dad kinda one dimensional and only slaying my mother instead of helping her.”
Liane’s eyes almost flashed purple but Nikolai put a hand on her shoulder to just let it go like Elsa.
The brothers were about to question a couple of things, even bargain a deal to help the others. When suddenly a voice caught into the background of the woods.
“There you are, sons of bitches!” Yelled the voice of the young woman who it seemed to belong to.
Everyone looked around to search for the voice in question. Whoever it was, she has a mouth on her! Jeremy grinned as he thought he was dreaming when he heard it. Nikolai smirked not wanting to get his hopes up yet.
The sun was shining across the thick blonde curls as shiny armor came into view, it looked more Royal than most. She held a small smile as she walked over to the group, her sword resting on her hip, her boots pounding against the ground and her eyes bright was the ocean. Liane looked a bit confused onto the women in front of her, almost like she seen her before but the pirate boys beat her to.
“Michelle?” Asked Nikolai and Jeremy at the same time seeing their old friend.
“Who were you expecting? Lancelot?” She joked with a smile, but her glared stayed on the two men tied up against the tree, who robbed her earlier.
Bella, Alice and Joshua were all dumbfounded by the young blonde.

“Mommy, Aunt Bee looks like a princess.” One of my nieces had gaped and squealed after finally seeing my gown. Natalie held her daughter on one hip in an effort to make room in the bridal suite.
“I know, Sweetheart. Don’t touch her dress, okay?” Natalie gently handed over that warning.
“Okay, Mommy.” In return, my niece nodded, shaking her twisted curls in response.
“See you later. Wait for me and please don’t tell anyone about my magic.” Wearing this gown, I carefully walked over to my niece and lifted one finger. She giggled soon after, mimicking the need to hush.
______
“Ready?” Mom hugged me as we stood in this full-length mirror together. Just beyond glass windows, ocean waves crashed and birds circled through sunlight found directly above.
“Yeah, Ma.” I affirmed. Enough games. No second-guessing. I’d love someone with all my heart and allow myself to be happy.
Mom, my sisters, and best friends all had worn beautifully light shades of purple as violet flowers decorated this bridal suite. We were all on location at this shoreline, ready to begin the rest of my life soon.
Others would’ve called me crazy for giving Russ this second chance. Yet, he learned from countless mistakes. He promised to be so much better, no matter any cost. If not, we’d spend eternity wishing for joy, losing the one connection that people dreamed of.
No one could take our bond away from me.
Someone from Mom’s church played the “Bridal March” with an organ when mahogany doors opened to reveal the beach. I walked arm and arm with my father Timothy, beaming as guests stood for me. Sunlight rounded overhead, flawless.
“I love you.” Dad walked along in his pristine tuxedo, showing off this proud smile and of course ready to lift my veil.
“I love you too, Dad.” Genuinely content, I almost teared up as soon as we had met our footsteps at the altar.
Cyrus stood right there, beaming with one rare smile that finally reached his face. His perfect hazels focused on me, innocent and no longer filled with exhaustion. His blondish hair slicked back once more, but strands fell due to this ongoing summer.
He, my soulmate, even braved current heat by sporting one dapper tuxedo that crossed with an adorable bowtie at its center. Even then, not one hint of tattoo ink had lined his clothed body out of respect. I’d felt so proud of him, smiling again.
“Hi,” Cy took my hands, but ended up turning red as his New York accent quietly whispered.
“Hi,” I nodded towards Cyrus and mouthed that greeting back, waiting for the Bridal March to stop playing. The officiant, one of our longtime pastors, kicked off the ceremony first.
“Dearly Beloved, we have gathered here this afternoon in the name of matrimony. May God bless this union, no matter the obstacle. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.” Members of the ceregration echoed their agreement, hoping for our marriage to succeed.
We agreed to write our own vows and Cyrus ended up speaking first. I smiled once more, quietly encouraging my best friends. Everyone else also cheered without acting too rowdy, especially with family around.
“Bianca, words cannot express how I feel. When we met for the first time, I had no idea that you would change my world. The future may not be perfect, but I cannot wait to spend my life with you. I love you so much, Angel. Forever yours, Cyrus.” Cyrus went on, subtly fighting an urge to tear up. Applause filled this space, showing support. Even Drew cheered, beaming this time around.
Gina, my childhood friend and Maid of Honor, handed over my own paper as expected. I then glanced between Cyrus and everyone else before clearing my throat.
Cyrus, there aren’t enough words or time in the world to explain how much I’ve loved you. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for accepting  me. Thank you for teaching me so much. You are one of the best people that I’ve ever known. I’ll always care for you. From this day forward, it’s us against the world. Love, B.”
“Thank you for offering such beautiful words to one another.” Our officiant spoke up again, beaming their own smile before going forward in the ceremony. “Now, it’s time to exchange the wedding bands.” Voices cheered from guests again.
Showing off typical Butler theatrics, Drew walked over, but still delicately traded our rings with the biggest smile on his face. Even a few guests applauded once more. Both Cyrus and I ended up laughing for the moment before focusing.
“With this ring, I thee wed.” Back to back, it wasn’t long before Cyrus and I lifted our voices over those crashing waves, speaking with more need than any outdoor sounds that afternoon.
“By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you man and wife. Cyrus, you may now kiss the bride.” Our pastor declared this union, allowing our marriage to be cemented for all-time.
In that moment, Cyrus held my hands once more and leaned inward, kissing me as if I were extremely fragile. I could only smile against his lips and chuckle for a moment, especially since my nieces and nephews squealed from the audience.
Once Cyrus and I pulled away from this gentle kiss to interlock our fingers, everyone stood, applauding when our organist played The Wedding March. Countless people wiped away tears, including Drew and Russ’s other friends.
_____
“Come on!” I beamed. We could hardly wait in our limousine after pulling up the reception together.
This wide-spread and gorgeous venue perched near the shoreline. For the first time in quite a while, Cyrus dealt with my excitement by laughing out loud, almost echoing chuckles  as we waited to make our entrance. There was no better feeling.
“Attention, everyone. It is my honor to introduce for the first time ever Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Hugo!” Our hired DJ picked their microphone and spoke with enthusiasm that rivaled times at so many other parties.
Everyone in here lost their minds and nearly shouted over the music. I glanced towards Cyrus and beamed another smile. Our reception had finally begun.
*****
Best Man to Maid of Honor speeches from Drew and Gina almost ruined my makeup that afternoon. Everything from hilarity to genuine childhood memories had been explained by each of our friends. Cyrus’s mother Tanya, my parents and sisters joined later, finishing their own words as this new chapter started for us here.
“In line with the tradition of these beautiful families, Cyrus and Bianca will share their very first dance as a married couple.” Our DJ offered another announcement, prompting Cyrus and I to carefully rise from our table and planned to dance.
Once Russ and I stood in the middle, that iconic guitar loop of “They Don’t Know” by Jon B played out loud.
“I knew it!” Drew lost it, happily freaking from one corner of the wide ballroom. Laughter echoed from everyone else, but Cyrus and I just kept smiling, thankful that the surprise worked out.
“He’s a mess.” I told Cyrus, still humored as the song progressed. In all truth, we had loved this record since the beginning, especially when we first started dating and things got tough.
“I love you.” Cyrus answered instead and scrunched up his nose before kissing me. I’d looped my arms around his neck as his palm to my waist, still swaying here on the floor.
“I love you, too.” I whispered back to Cyrus as Drew and others yelled to sing along before the song faded out.
Just minutes afterward,  I grooved with Dad and Cyrus danced with his mother, finally cementing this switch of chapters in our lives. Not that we would never see our own parents again, but I knew that times were surely different decades later.
“And now, here is the moment that you’ve all waited for: the bridal party and all other invited guests may report to the dance floor at this time!” Our DJ kicked off that upcoming joy and proclaimed that everyone could join in, dancing tonight.
“Got a surprise set up today. Hold on for one second.” The moment double doors closed behind his mother and my parents, Cyrus whispered into my ear, slyly revealing an intention.
“What did you two plan?” I gestured between Cyus and the DJ, waiting to find out their upcoming scheme.
At that very moment, songs from the early 2000’s started playing and nostalgia kicked in for Cyrus and I. Rhythms still thumped to give more joy.
It wasn’t long before Gina, Carmen, and Ramona lifted hems of their own dresses to meet with me, forming a circle to jam through each passing track. Drew and others were just as enthusiastic and lost their minds again before dancing with us now.
I’d never forget that we all just grew up to be big kids who lived in a cruel world.
_______
When dancing calmed down after we had all partied like manics on the floor, Taylor, my youngest sister and freshman in college, caught my lavender bouquet. Now, it was time for the garter toss.
Drew, other single guests, and even a few new bartenders from Club Shadow huddled nearby to watch in anticipation. Cyrus had known better than to act up with me here, but it didn’t hurt to be a little sexy during this part of the night.
At least our parents aren’t here. I thought to myself while sitting in one chair at the center of this dance floor.
Music thumped again while Cyrus knelt before me and lifted his head, ghosting touches along my legs just before using his fingers to move that same caress higher.
Through dimness of the space, I bit my lip, waiting for him to pull down that fabric in question. Behind me, everyone squealed, hyping him up like spectators who ended up watching a basketball game
“Got it.” Cyrus mouthed towards me, pulling the fabric lower and it lower until I needed to hike my left leg upward. wolf whistles followed, encouraging us all around this room once more.
“Who do you think's going to catch it?” I joked.
“Drew.” Cyrus winked after standing up from the floor and twirling the gathered for a moment before finally tossing it over his broad shoulder.
“Who was it?” I asked.
When Cyrus turned around, our guess was completely wrong.
One of the bartenders from Club Shadow, Sean, celebrated and showed off the garter as he’d scored a touchdown. He was a young kid, fresh out of college and enjoying summer like everyone else. Letting him join us off-the-clock was a no brainer.
“Make good choices, Sean!” Cyrus yelled over the music.
“Yes, Sir!” Sean affirmed to my husband, cheering in full uniform as he had all day long. I’d worn two garters anyway, one for myself and the other for this part of the reception.
________
Cyrus would not smash cake into my face, but icing did smudge onto his lower lip for a second. Once that last moment of hilarity ended, we bid farewell to everyone, walking hand in hand out of the venue as our limousine pulled to the nearest curb.
“Bye! Congratulations.” Voices yelled out loud and people waved goodbye as the driver opened both the rear doors.
Once that door finally closed behind us, Russ scooted closer and rested his head onto the front of my dress, cuddling like a child.
There was nothing short of love found in his hazel eyes.
“Hi,” I whispered, looking down towards him with my own smile and smooth back his blondish hair. The limousine finally moved along.
“Hi, Baby.” His voice rasped as this beautiful man looked at me, no longer tarnished by pain. We even interlocked our ringed fingers and he kissed my knuckles.
By the time we returned to that beachfront hotel, he was already drifting in and out of sleep, peaceful at last.

I would like to step on Steve if that's possible. Thank goodness Erci is Loki's buddy. Kind of like a silent caregiver for them, it's sweet. Who is the little girl, he showed the photo of to loki?? Eric's daughter, loki's niece or is that the someone loki has to care for? I got a little confused there. Her refusal to eating again was a sign for her lost will to live. Small things we don't notice always are indications to that. But we'll always miss those. I did have a suspicion that she had the attack done herself. I think I mentioned it in one of my rants to you. The response Bitchannah got was very comforting weirdly. I think social media is gonna help y/n and loki later somehow. I just have a gut feeling they're gonna use it to their advantage. Yes loki is hot but she can't post that about her bodyguard when she's about to get married to a much older billionaire. Does she not know that, that's already frowned upon. She is literally spelling gold digger out, conforming everyone's suspicion. And this told me that not only is y/n father an a-hole but he's also very stupid. I wonder how this person even earned this much money without a working brain and respect for anyone else. How do you miss such obvious signs?? This was a sad chapter. You're making me cry too much these days 😢😢. On a not too different note, you have magical powers I swear. I wrote a short story for an English paper today and it was soooooo bad. 😂 I got bored halfway and just ended it abruptly. How do you write these chapter's everyday with such perfect details and plot?? And you can write oneshots that are perfect too. I think you should start how to write classes. Anyway, I love the new look and I hope you feel better today🙃❤.
🧁
Please step on him but make sure you are wearing spiky boots. :)
Erik is so sweet , I love him 😭 That's Erik's daughter, loki said that because he haven't seen her since she was born.
And yes you mentioned it :) I love it when little things get picked up way before I plan to reveal them.
Bitchannaah and Rocky are match made in heaven, he's not dumb per say, he must know what she wants from him and it's definitely not his body 😂 they are both fulfilling each other's needs.
Oh my god you are too sweet my dear, to be Frank it all comes down to inspiration, I am only able to write for loki and that too when I'm highly inspired so there's that. I hope your paper went okay 🥰🥰 I'm doing better today but still would take two three days to get back to feeling okay.
Love you dear 🥰💚💚

Missing You (T.H)
Tom Holland Fan fiction (Fan fiction Masterlist)
Summary: Tom is away for shooting and he is missing his daughter’s first easter. You and Sophia miss him terribly and he feels terrible for missing it. Sophia gets hurt during the egg hunt and Tom flies back to be with his family.
Warnings: Angst and some fluff.
._._._._.
“Daddy?” You had been folding your laundry because it was a therapeutic chore. The maid always left it for you by the end of the day because she knew that you enjoyed doing it. Your moment was interrupted by your one year old daughter barging into your room with only one question on her mind.
She had recently started walking and you were silently thankful because your over protective husband wouldn’t let her touch the ground in the fear that she would hurt herself. It even came to the point that Sophia started becoming agitated whenever he interrupted her progress. She would scream Bloody Mary when she saw him approaching with his arms outstretched. You sat him down one day and gently explained to him that we have to let her explore the world. If she falls and gets hurt, then it was our job to take care of her but we could not protect her from everything in advance.
The moment she took her first steps, they were towards Tom. You were there to record the moment and you guys were so glad that Tom had backed off a little bit. He would be there for his little princess every step of the way. If she wanted to leap, she could and he will be there to catch her if she started to fall. Sophia was the most important person in his life after you.
“Daddy is going to be here before your first Easter, bunny. Hopefully.” The last word was more of a mumble for yourself because you really hoped that he would be here. Sophia was born a few weeks after Easter so this was her first one.
“Daddy?”
Sighing, you said, “Let’s just get ready and see how cute you look in your new costume.”
“Bunny!” She ran off to her room to put her name on the and you opened your phone. Your husband told you that he would drop a text at approximately this time if he was going to make it back before the party. Disappointed, you just put the phone back on the side table.
“Okay, you need to sit tightly so that I can make your braids.” She was a hyper ball after she found the candies on the coffee table that you were going to give it to her at the party. Allergies to nuts was one of the many things that she had inherited from Tom and you never liked to take chances regarding their health. “No more sweets for you today, miss.”
“Nooooooo. Daddy!” Sophia’s voice trembled in the end because she knew that her dad would defend her. He was her knight in shining armor.
“Daddy is not here so let’s stop screaming now.” You were already in a sour mood as your husband was not with you on an important milestone. And Sophia was not making things easy for you either.
“No!”
“You are ready. I am going to give you your coloring books while I go get ready.” You did not listen to her small sniffles and went to take a shower while keeping the door open so you could keep an eye on her. When you got out, your phone was ringing and it was Tom.
“Hi. I am so sorry I can’t make it today. I tried my very best to get done with filming but it was not possible. So sorry, darling.” There was a crack in his voice that let you know that he was devastated about it.
“It’s okay, baby. There will be other Easters and you will be there for all of them. Don’t be sad, please.” You  tried cheering him up but it was not working.
Tom was always big on firsts; your first date, your first I love you’s, Sophia’s first kick, Sophia’s first tooth. He kept a record of all the moments and he was incredibly sad that he did not get to witness his child’s first Easter. Acting was something that he really enjoyed but he hated it right now. It was keeping him away from his family. He had planned everything out from where to hide all the eggs to where to buy the small bunny cupcakes that he would give to his little girl at the end of the day. This was not right but he was helpless. He could not do anything because he had an obligation to his fans as well.
“Is she wearing the costume that I ordered her?” When you mumbled out a yes, he asked, “Can you please send me a picture?”
“Soph, come and stand here. Pose for daddy.” When you sent him the picture, there was no response from his side. Seeing the picture, Tom choked back a sob. His little bunny looked incredibly cute with a white dress and a bunny ear headband. A pink tint graced her cheeks which meant that she had some candies and she had a toothy smile. Before he could say anything, the director called him back to shooting. “We will talk to daddy later. He might be busy right now.”
Tom’s mom had planned a party at her house and the whole garden was prepared for the egg hunt. You both wanted to host the party this year but Tom had to go to Cardiff last minute because of his shooting. Your siblings and nieces and nephews were all going to be there. You were happy that you got to spend this occasion with your family but you were miserable right now. Tom was not here.
“Hi. Who is this little rabbit here?” Nikki leaned in front of the toddler and squished Sophia in one of her famous bear hugs.
“Sophia Anne Holland!” There was a proud undertone to her voice because she could speak her whole name now.
“You are the cutest bunny ever.”
“I know.” You all chuckled at her haughty admission and watched as she skipped towards her cousins.
“Tom isn’t going to make it today?”
“Um no. He could not get away from work and he said to apologise on his behalf.” It was like something was missing and you didn’t want to indulge in that feeling.
“I am sorry, darling but he will make it up to you and Sophie.” You wanted to divert the topic so you started to talk about the guests and the decorations.
Pretty soon, you started mingling with the people and they always asked about Tom. You either replied to them or politely redirected the conversation. It felt weird being at a gathering without Tom. You haven’t done that from the past five years and you realised you didn’t much enjoy it now. Keeping an eye on Sophia was hard because it was usually Tom who performed that duty. You were given a free pass at parties from all the responsibilities and were allowed to enjoy every moment. He was always considerate towards you and that is why you loved him to death.
“Sophia, you can not go near the pool.” You caught her in your arms before she could fall in.
“Dada swimm- swimming.” Tommy was the one who was teaching her to swim because it was a hobby that he wanted his daughter to adopt from him. When she saw the water, she thought that her dad will be there to teach her.
“When dad comes back, you can go swimming.” Sophia still kept looking around for her father because this is the longest she has been away from him. Her toddler mind thinks that if she goes to do things that they do together, he will come to her. You couldn’t even get angry at her for wandering around the house without anyone. Hugging her, you tried to distract her, “Now, granny is having an egg hunt and we need to win it, okay bubs?”
“Win!!” You took her in your arms and went towards the garden where all the people were.
“Look, Tom. (Y/N) is here.” A phone was shoved in to your face by Sam and you saw Tom’s face on the screen.
“Hi. I was calling you and you didn’t pick up. I wanted to see Sophie on the egg hunt.” There was a look of longing on his face.
“I was busy with your daughter. She was running near the swimming pool and wanted to get in because she thought that you would be there to teach her.”
“Is she alright? Let me see her.” You angled the phone towards your shoulder where she was leaning on him. “Hey, baby.”
“Hi. Back?” Tom wanted nothing more than to hold his daughter in his arms and his heart broke when his daughter asked him that question. It meant that he was away too long because she never asked that question before. She didn’t need to.
“I’ll be back in no time and then we will go swimming. Promise.”
“Yes.” She hopped down from your arms and went to the start line of the race.
“How have you been?”
“Just missing you a lot and handling Soph is getting harder by the day.” You moved to a more secluded place on the ground so you could talk to your husband.
“I am sorry, darling. When I come back, you can have the whole weekend off.”
“Just come back. I want to spend sometime with my husband.”
“That is a tempting offer but I have to stay here a little longer. But when I come back, we will do more than spend sometime together.”
“I will look forward to it. The game is starting so I have to go.” You were about to end the call but he stopped you.
“I want to see her and I have a break for another twenty minutes.”
“Okay.”
The race soon started and among all her cousins, Sophia was the youngest and the most hyper. You cheered her on with her grandparents and Tom. She was about to win the race and you were more excited than her. Tommy wanted to be there to witness her first victory but he settled down for seeing it on the phone. However, she stumbled on some rocks that were on the trail and she fell hard.
“Oh my god! Go to her, (Y/N).” Tom’s voice broke you out of your horrified trance and you went in to autopilot. When you reached near her, you gave the phone to someone behind you and kneeled in front of your daughter. She was crying really loudly and her arms was bent to an odd angle. Cuddling her in your arms, you picked her up and went towards your car. “What is happening? Mum, tell me!”
“I think Sophie’s arm is broken. (Y/N) is taking her to the hospital right now. I will keep you updated.” Nikki was moving quickly towards her car while she gripped the phone in her hands.
“Mum, I want to talk to my daughter right now.” He didn’t even realise that he was pacing and his hair was all messed up because he ran his hands through it several times.
“Tommy, I will keep you updated. Right now, she is a lot of pain and she is scared.”
“Please keep me informed.” This was one of the worst moment in his life because he wasn’t there for his girls. You both needed him right now and he wasn’t there. He decided then and there that he was going back to London.
Meanwhile, you reached the hospital with Sophia wailing in your arms and Sam driving like a cray man. You were sure that he would have multiple speeding tickets waiting for him when he gets home. The E.R was busy at this time of the day and you just laid your daughter on one of the beds while Nikki went to go get a doctor.
“Honey, it’s going to be okay. Please be strong, baby girl.” There were tears in your eyes as your daughter’s face turned red with all the crying and screaming. The little girl was in too much pain.
“Daddy, plea- please. Hurts a lot.” Hiccuping in the middle of the sentence, you looked at your brother in law helplessly. She wanted Tom and he wasn’t here right now.
“We will talk to daddy after the nice doctor here checks you out, baby.” She wouldn’t let anyone near her or her arm and kept asking for her father, She was inconsolable.
Sitting in front of the bed, the doctor asked, “Hi, I am Dr Ana. What happened to this little bunny here?”
“She, uh, she fell during the race and I think she broke her arm.” You stood on the foot of the bed as you shakily explained the whole situation. “Soph, let her check your boo boo please.”
“Daddy, please.”
“Okay, let me call your dad and you can talk to him.” Nikki interjected when she saw that the conversation was not reaching any end point.
“Okay.” You wiped her snot with your sleeves as she clutched her broken arm in pain.
“Tom, talk to Sophia. She is not letting the doctors treat her.” Putting the phone on speaker, Tom’s voice filtered through the phone.
“Hey bubs. You need to let the doctor check you and make the boo boo alright.” His soothing voice brought tears to your eyes as you wanted nothing more than to hold his hand right now.
“It hurts. Back please?”
“I am coming back right now so you need to let the doctor check your arm. I will be there in no time.”
“Okay.” The moment the doctor started examining her arm, you took the phone from your mother in law.
“It’s going to be okay. You don’t have to come back.” You sniffled a little as the doctor got a portable x-ray to check up on Sophia’s arm. She held on to your hand tightly as even the little movement hurt her.
“I am. In fact, my flight is already confirmed. I will be there in four hours, tops.”
Tom declined the call as his manager called him downstairs. Getting in to the car, he just prayed to God that his little girl would be okay. He swore mentally that he would never let Sophia run. He should have been there and he was going to never leave his family’s side ever again.
“I have given her some pain meds for her pain so she should be settling down now.” Sophia was moved to a pediatric room and now she was calming down a little bit. “What color cast do you want, Miss Holland?”
“Pink.” She stated as a matter of fact and you lightly laughed. Nikki and Sam were in the room as well and they were staying till Tom got here. The pain medication slowly started working and Soph drifted off to sleep with Mr Fluffs in her arms.
“We are going to get coffee and then we can get you a change of clothes. Do you want something else?” Whispering, Nikki placed a hand on your shoulder.
“I am fine. I just need the clothes and can you please bring some for Tom as well. I know he would come straight here from the airport.”
“Okay, darling. Take care and call us if something happens.”
“Okay, thank you.” You put your head on the bed and drifted off to sleep.
Tom entered the hospital and the receptionist guided him towards Sophia’s room. Quietly steeping in there, he saw his two girls sleeping. Sophia looked so tiny in that patient bed and he never wanted to see her there. When he got close, he saw dried tears on his little girl’s cheek and his heart broke when he thought about the pain that she was in. The pink cast was set on her right arm and he want to her side and gently kissed it.
“I am so sorry baby, I wasn’t here. I won’t ever leave you again, I promise.”
“You are back.” The commotion in the room woke you up and you saw your husband right in front of you.
“Just got in.” Tom’s eyes never left the tiny human being laying underneath the sheets. “(Y/N), she is never running again.”
“Honey, children get hurt all the time. She will recover in no time.”
“But-”
“Dadda!” Your baby jumped in to his arms before any of you realised what was happening. Her cast bumped on to the iron rod of the bed and she let out a blood curling scream.
“Call the doctor. It’s okay, bubs. You are going to be okay.” Kissing her cast, he tried to calm down the crying toddler. Meantime, you went to call Dr Anna so that she could check Sophia’s arm.
“It is all fine. You just need to be really careful with that arm. We are going to keep her here for one day and then you both can take your little girl home.”
You took Sophia from your husband and told him to go change in to comfortable clothes. When he came back, you both settled on the small bed and your daughter told him all about the injury and the pain. You both signed her pink cast and Tom also drew some rainbows and birds on it. Soon, it was time for her to take her medicines and you had to bribe her with chocolates, She always got her way.
“I love you, baby. Go to sleep now.” He wrapped the blanket around her and switched off all the lights.
“Love you. Be here?”
“Yes, I will be here darling. Now, sleep.” Sophia soon drifted off to sleep and Tom sat beside you on the couch.
“I missed you, Tommy.”
“I missed you too and I am never leaving you both for this long. Now, let’s go to sleep. It has been a tiring day.” Pecking him on the lips, you both laid down and just basked in each other’s warmth. Contented, you drifted off to sleep with your husband and child in the same room. Everything was going to be okay.
Hope you guys enjoyed it!!

Buddie, 2, 11, or 4 please! 🖤🤗
Sorry this took forever!! I used 2. "Is the room meant to be spinning?" and 4. "Dance with me."! This is tooth-rotting fluff, feat. tipsy clingy Eddie and I really hope you like it!
The summer sun is fading out into long shadows as a cool evening breeze blows through the vineyard. The string lights overhead twinkle to life, and the whole place seems magical. Really, the whole day has been magical. Buck bounces the two year old flower girl on his lap and watches Chimney twirling Maddie around on the outdoor dance floor. His heart swells with how happy his sister looks.
“Your mommy and daddy are married now,” Buck whispers to Jee-Yun.
“We married!” She giggles in response. She’s wearing a tulle dress in a soft pink shade that matches May’s bridesmaid dress, and Buck, Albert, and Hen’s ties.
His eyes shift from the happy couple and find Eddie, the way they always do in a crowd. He’s dancing with Christopher, of course, both of them laughing as they sway back and forth to the music. Eddie’s cheeks are red from the wine he’s had and he looks so light and carefree. It’s a good look on him: pleasantly buzzed, overwhelmingly happy, wearing a well tailored tux. Buck wants to see him like this again soon.
“Hey,” He looks back down at Jee. “You wanna be a flower girl again for me and Uncle Eddie?”
She beams up at him. “Yeah!”
“You can’t tell anyone yet,” he adds. “It’s a secret.”
She nods, gravely serious. “Secret!”
It’s then that Albert strides across the courtyard to them. “Quit hogging my niece.”
“Worried I’m her favorite?” Buck quips.
“Not possible.” Albert rolls his eyes and makes grabby hands for Jee-Yun.
“You wanna go with Uncle Albert?” Buck asks.
She nods, so Buck hands her off. Albert takes her onto the dancefloor and begins to spin and sway, much to her delight. Buck laughs and shakes his head, hoping Albert is prepared for her to ruin his tux. After a moment, he realizes he doesn’t need to keep sitting at the table now that he’s not watching Jee.
He makes his way over to Eddie and Chris, and taps Eddie on the shoulder. “May I cut in?”
Eddie grins, and moves to put a hand on Buck’s waist, to pull him in. But Buck shakes his head, smirking. “I meant with Chris.”
Christopher laughs at his dad’s disappointed frown. He looks so old in his crisp back suit, leaning on his new, taller royal blue crutches. He’s thirteen now, and normally that means he’s too cool to hang out with his dad and Buck, but he’s made an exception for tonight. After all, it’s Chimney and Maddie’s wedding, and everyone's a little punch-drunk on happiness and love, even the kids. He knows Eddie, terrified that Christopher is now a teenager, is glad for the days when he can hold onto Christopher’s childhood just a little longer.
Buck is, too.
Buck spins Chris around the dancefloor, gratified by the way he laughs. Christopher’s laugh has always been one of Buck’s favorite sounds. He grins in return, wishing he could capture this moment in a bottle and keep it forever.
“I think Dad wants to dance with you,” Chris says after a few minutes, glancing to where Eddie seems caught between fond and annoyed.
“Well, too bad, I’m playing favorites.” Buck winks.
Christopher rolls his eyes.
“Besides, Eddie can dance with me all he wants when we do this,” Buck says, without really thinking about it.
Christopher grins. “You and Dad are finally gonna get married?”
“Well,” Buck flushes. “We’ve been talking about it recently. All Maddie and Chimney’s wedding talk got in our heads, I think.”
“That makes sense.”
Buck swallows. “Would you be okay with that?”
“Duh.” And, God, he is such a teenager. “We’ve been a family for years. It’s about damn time we made it all official.”
“Language!” But Buck is too overjoyed to convincingly scold him. Christopher’s choice of words we and all haven’t gone unnoticed. It’s not the time for that conversation--the one about adoption and paperwork and lawyers--but it makes Buck’s heart full just the same to know Christopher is thinking about it, that it’s something he wants.
They dance back over towards Eddie, who steps forward and closes the rest of the distance between them himself.
“Buck,” Eddie must be closer to drunk than tipsy because he turns Buck’s name into an honest to God whine. “Dance with me.”
Buck rolls his eyes. “Sorry, kid, looks like my second favorite Diaz is demanding a turn.”
Christopher snorts. “I’m gonna go get more sparkling cider.”
Buck watches as Christopher crosses the dancefloor and heads to the drinks table before turning to Eddie, who is doing the same. The sky is dark now, the moon big and full overhead, and Eddie’s brown eyes shine in the starlight. A slow song begins to play, and Buck knows the universe doesn’t scream, but maybe it does give gentle nudges.
“May I have this dance?” He asks.
Eddie grins. “Finally.” Eddie’s hands find their way to Buck’s waist and pull him in. Buck leans into it, wrapping his arms around Eddie and beginning to sway. Eddie nestles his head on Buck’s shoulder, lips pressed against the crook of his neck.
“Tired?”
“Mmhmm,” Eddie answers, muffled by Buck’s skin.
“Jee-Yun wants to be our flower girl next,” he says softly, carding a hand through Eddie’s hair.
Eddie moves his head slightly, so he can speak properly. “You haven’t even proposed to me yet.”
“You want me to propose?”
Eddie’s wine reddened cheeks darken further. “I already proposed to someone once. I think it’s my turn to be wooed.”
Buck chuckles. “How drunk are you?”
“Not sure,” Eddie mumbles, lifting his head from Buck’s shoulder. “Is the room supposed to be spinning?”
“Oh boy.” Buck shakes his head. “We’re not even in a room, love.”
“Oh, damn.”
Buck hums fondly. “I think it’s time to say goodnight to Maddie and Chim.”
Buck finds his sister and his new brother-in-law sitting with Albert. Maddie is holding Jee-Yun, and she looks exhausted in the best possible way. He makes his goodnights and goodbyes for himself and his family, sends a wink Jee-Yun’s way, and then drags his partner and their son upstairs to their hotel room.
Buck wakes up the next morning to a text from Maddie that says: I can’t believe you stole my flower girl and one from Chimney: I think the inability to keep a secret must be genetic. He smiles softly, and looks over at Eddie, who is still fast asleep, the morning sun drenching him in golden light.
He responds to Maddie first: Help me plan the proposal?

Hey Neighbour! - Part 8
You had avoided the Mayfair-Richards home for the past five days unable to face the woman you had fallen in love with. Old wounds and insecurities had opened up causing you to retreat from your neighbours, Amelia had also picked up on your change of mood which caused the guilt to amplify. The two young children still saw each other at school leading Amelia to mention how Oz had told her how sad his mother looked whenever she did the dishes at night, to anyone else they would have been bewildered by the statement but for you it was like a stab to the heart. Ally had tried to call and text you to ask if you were okay, your short texts back and actively declining calls must have given her the hint that you didn’t want to be contacted because after the first three days she stopped trying. You hated yourself for doing this to her but you couldn’t help but fall back into the familiar withdrawal habit whenever you felt this way, no matter who you hurt in the process.
“Mama, I’m finished!” Amelia announces, smiling proudly at her empty plate. You’re startled out of your thoughts as you look towards her matching her wide smile with a forced one. Your brother sits next to her as his eyes stay fixated on your form, concern evident within his gaze.
“Well done, Amelia-cakes! Why don’t you go wash your hands and brush your teeth for bed,” you instruct softly, watching as she nods and dashes out of the room. You quickly make eye contact with him as you lean forward keeping your voice low so to not alert Amelia of the intense situation..
“I wish you would stop looking at me like that,” you whisper harshly, he only shakes his head mutely before responding.
“I just don’t understand why you’re making yourself and her miserable, you clearly like each other a lot. Don’t ruin this just because you’re allowing your negative thoughts to take over,” his voice soft and gentle causing you to falter, expecting a harsher response. Sighing you relax back before taking a sip from the wine glass.
“Will you please help Amelia upstairs while I clean up here?” you ask instead, attempting to avoid the current topic of conversation. He sighs in defeat before dutifully leaving the room to find his niece.
You stand from your chair and collect the empty plates before moving towards the sink, as you begin to clean the dishes you notice a slightly dimmed light across the way causing you to tense, slowly you look up from your task and towards the light. Ally stands at her kitchen counter, even from here you can see how tired she looks causing that familiar guilt to creep up into your chest once more. She looks down for a few moments before placing a large piece of paper into the window, words written in black ink for you to read.
‘I think we need to talk’ The words cause you to gulp as you nod back before searching for some spare paper to write back on.
‘Garden in ten?’ you try to smile hoping to ease the situation but falter when she doesn’t return it and only nods back in acknowledgment.
Wiping your hands on a dry towel you hurriedly move upstairs to inform your brother of your plan, he reassures you that he’ll be fine with Amelia while you go to talk to Ally giving you an encouraging smile before shoving you back towards the staircase. Grabbing your thick jacket and shoes you make your way towards the front of Ally’s home, waiting patiently for her to let you in. Your breath catches in your throat as you take her in, the urge to reach out and hold her becoming stronger with each passing second, brown tired eyes scan your face before silently standing to the side allowing you to move in. You head straight for the kitchen and into the garden area sitting down in your usual spot, you wait for her to join you. A hot cocoa mug appears in front of your view causing you to smile sadly as you take it from her hands muttering a quick ‘thank you’. It’s quiet and dark out except for the porch light that glows above you, both sitting quietly as you take a sip of the hot drink.
“Ally I-”
“Why weren’t you honest with me? If there was something wrong you should have told me instead of practically falling off the face of the earth,” her statement catches you off guard, causing you to falter as you stare at the mug in your hand.
“After she left me and Amelia I was struggling for a while, I couldn’t cope with working and looking after a baby full time but I had this beautiful girl to look out for so she became my top priority over everything, my job, my friends. It took me years before I could trust others outside of my family to take care of her. I’m not good at having these healthy relationships that are good for me and I am so sorry that I’ve treated you this way, you deserve better than this,” you mutter, tears gathering within your blurred vision.
“I understand how hard it can be to trust people, I mean you know about Ivy and how she betrayed me, betrayed Oz. I get why you got scared when things were looking serious, I’ve had my moments with that too but Y/N I’m not like her and you aren’t like Ivy.” She pauses, collecting her thoughts before continuing.
“We are good people and I don’t think it was a coincidence that it was you who so happened to move in next door… that night after the fair apart from Oz I’ve never been so certain about anything in my life, I want to be with you and I want this to go somewhere but I need you to speak to me and be honest with me,” Ally tilts her head as if seeking your gaze before reaching across and grabbing your hand.
“I’m so so sorry, Ally. I should have spoken to you about my worries, I’m not used to someone caring. I just looked at how comfortable we all were in your kitchen that morning, how domestic it all was and my god I couldn’t have fallen further for you but my mind was screaming at me that if I allowed Amelia to become closer to you and you decided to leave… I can’t have another person walk out on her.. On me,” you stutter over your words as you feel your throat tighten, holding back a sob. Ally moves from her seat and crouches in front of you placing your mug onto the table she takes both your hands into her own, squeezing them with reassurance.
“I love you y/n. This week has been tortuous the amount of times I thought about walking over and forcing you to speak to me, but I knew you needed time to collect your thoughts. I may not have been obvious with it but I could tell something had spooked you that morning but please come and talk to me whenever you feel trapped into a corner, okay?” her dark brows arch, as she waits for your response. As you nod Ally reaches upwards and captures your salty lips with her own, her warm comforting hands cupping your face in place.
Tears continue to fall between you both as Ally presses gentle kisses along your jaw and cheeks seeking out that comforting touch, you realise that you were wrong. Ally isn’t like the rest of them, she’s kind and caring but most of all she understands you in a way that no one else can relate to. You quickly capture her lips, a heated kiss needing to feel her close.
“Is Oz upstairs?”
“No, he’s staying at a friends house,” she mumbles, against your lips. Pulling back you look into her slightly glazed eyes and demand the thing you need most.
“Take me to bed, Ally.”
With that, Ally grabs your hand and leads you back inside the house. The moonlight glows throughout the room giving you a clear view of Ally’s face as you allow her to look after you, whispering soft reassurances against your exposed skin leaving trails of wet kisses along your body, closing your eyes you surrender yourself to this woman finally allowing yourself to be loved without restrictions.
***
Bright light beams through into the bedroom causing you to stir and groan at the invasive light cuddling into the softness of Ally’s chest enjoying her warmth and secure form wrapped around you. Lips graze against your hair as the brunette whispers a ‘Good Morning’ causing you to smile as you watch her fingers brush over your forearm that has stayed wrapped around her waist all night.
“Good Morning, Honey. Did you sleep well?” your fake-innocence doesn’t pass Ally as she chuckles deeply, her hand moving to tilt your chin upwards causing your lips to brush against her swollen ones.
“Deliciously actually,” her hoarse voice, makes you shiver before you capture her lips once more enjoying the sounds that escape her throat.
The sound of the front door opening downstairs and quick footsteps making their way upstairs causes you to part suddenly, blindly reaching for your scattered clothes recognizing those footsteps from anywhere.
“Mom!!” Oz’s voice shouts from the hallway, causing you to quickly cover up and head for the en-suite bathroom needing to freshen up before the poor boy sees you. Ally’s eyes follow after your retreating form in light amusement as she tucks on the woolly jumper and ties the string around her joggers.
“Mom I’m home! We had such a cool night! Jeremy bought over his new racing car you know the one with the remote it was awesome!” Oz’s excited voice trails into the room as he runs straight for Ally’s legs hugging her tightly, she places her hands on top of his crazy blonde curls and smiles.
“Well it certainly sounds like you had fun! So where is Sam’s mom? You didn’t just run from her car without saying thank you did you?” Ally’s tone makes you smile as you peak through the gap of the bathroom door always infatuated with her motherly side. Oz tries to hide his expression but with one raised eyebrow from Ally the boy slumps and sighs before nodding.
“It’s okay Ally! He was just excited to see you! Oz I’ve left your bag by the door okay,” Sam’s mom shouts from the staircase before the sound of the front door closing reaches your ears. Taking this as your cue you leave the bathroom just as the sound of screeching reaches your ears, a small body colliding with your own making you stumble.
“Woah! Hey Buddy!” you greet with a groan, laughing as you place you cup your hand around his jaw cradling him close. A sense of guilt lingering within your chest, the realisation what your actions could have done to the poor boy being the same fear you have for Amelia.
“I’ve missed you,” he mumbles into your stomach, you crouch to be eye level with him and give him the biggest smile you could muster.
“I’m sorry for not being around much, silly adults and silly work has been keeping me busy. I promise to make it up to you,” you murmur, watching as he nods accepting your apology before turning to leave to grab his backpack from downstairs. You stand from your position and fold your arms across your chest, that unsettling feeling still present, Ally steps towards you and places her hands onto your cheeks before kissing your lips.
“Stop, I can practically hear the gears turning in that beautiful head of yours. Now let’s go downstairs. I want to see my girl.” Her words cause you to raise a question eyebrow as your lips twitch into a half grin.
“Oh?”
Ally grins wickedly, before stepping towards the door. “I meant Amelia silly.”
With that she winks and takes her leave leaving you agape.
“Well I know my place then,” you grumble playfully before running after the mischievous Senator.
As if on cue the sound of the front door stops you both in your tracks midway down the stairs, Ally moves to answer the door and beams when she sees Amelia stood with her Uncle who has a very dirty grin on his face as his eyes move from Ally to you wiggling his brows as Ally crouches down and fronds over Amelia who seems to be enjoying the attention from her favourite person.
“Uncle Rupert said you guys had a sleepover without me, Ms. Ally!” she exclaims, a small pout forming onto her lips and you bite your own to stop your laughter. From the shakes coming from Ally’s shoulder the woman seems to be doing the same.
“Oh sweetheart I’m so sorry, I promise we can have soon okay? Just me and your mom needed to have a grown-up sleepover to talk.”
“Yeah I bet you did,” Rupert mumbles, amusement evident within his tone. You glare at him from your position as Oz comes running from the living room area, he instantly goes to hug his friend as he drags her further into the house telling her all about his sleepover. Rupert waits by the door as Ally gives him a shy hello before following the two leaving you to talk privately to the smug man.
“Not a word,” you demand, making sure to punctuate every word, it only seems to make him grin further. He shrugs putting his hands up in surrender as he steps through the door meeting you at the bottom of the staircase.
“So are we back on then? Oh and no need to thank me for looking after the devil's spawn last night, I swear she just knows what to do to make me crumble. I didn’t even know you still owned a Nintendo Wii,” he rants, as you both walk towards the kitchen where Ally sits with the two children all drinking from their respective mugs. Rupert goes to sit next to Amelia as he steals her mug to take a sip as she glares at him. You shake your head at the two before clashing eyes with Ally who winks over her mug gesturing you over which you gladly do. Stood behind her you wrap your arms around her shoulders and listen as they all converse amongst themselves enjoying these rare moments that you will hold dearly, smiling you kiss Ally’s temple before relaxing joining in on the conversation.
Now relaxed you allow the past to stay at the back of your mind as you look forward to the future, a secret plan up your sleeve you allow the details to rail off within your head excited to show Ally just how much she means to you and how do you do that?
By going official, of course.

okay okay, since i’ve been transing everyone’s gender lately i’m gonna talk about another concept i’ve had a while ago but never really did anything with:
trans man claudius and (closeted) trans woman hamlet
@all-mimsy helped a lot with this one! I’m tagging @butchhamlet and @suits-of-woe too, because this feels like the kind of headcanon you’d both like
claudius transitioned when he was fifteen or sixteen and his brother was eighteen. because he was never expected to be in line for the throne he hadn’t been trained in any of the duties or responsibilities of a king, and their parents were like “okay, i guess we have this son now” and just continued to ignore him
king hamlet is a massive transphobe and badmouths claudius to hamlet all the time. “With witchcraft of his wit, with traitorous gifts—. O wicked wit and gifts, that have the power So to seduce” is because he must have used witchcraft since no woman would willingly choose him over a ~real~ man. hey king hamlet, fuck off maybe.
the courtiers are pretty evenly split between whispering malicious rumors about claudius, and Politely Ignoring the fact that they’ve been calling him a princess up to now. some of the new guards and courtiers have no idea he’s not cis. and it should feel like acceptance, but somehow it doesn’t.
I actually really love interpretations where hamlet has a lot more in common with claudius than with king hamlet, because they’re both more solitary and thoughtful compared to his hawkishness. so yep, he’s the fun uncle and it comes as a real shock to realize that this person hamlet trusted and loved could be capable of killing someone.
so because they’re friends, hamlet talks to claudius about gender stuff, and eventually realizes that she’s not the perfect son her father wants. (she already wasn’t going to be, but it’s a relief to know that there’s a reason for it) claudius is a really good ally and mentor and he loves his niece!
between fear of how her father will react if she comes out, and her desperate need for his approval, hamlet stays deep in the closet. her name is still hamlet and she doesn’t plan to change it because it’s a part of her.
horatio definitely knows she’s a woman. laertes sort of halfway guesses it, but thinks she’s just gay. ophelia is patient and figures hamlet will tell her whatever’s going on in her own time.
“not so, my lord, I am too much in the sun/son” becomes a fun line in this au! so does “frailty, thy name is woman” and “oh, that this too too sullied flesh would melt” and "god hath given you one face, and you make yourself another."
but the MAIN bit of dialogue that really sparked my interest in this concept is this:
HAMLET I see a cherub that sees them. But, come; for England! Farewell, dear mother. KING CLAUDIUS Thy loving father, Hamlet. HAMLET My mother: father and mother is man and wife; man and wife is one flesh; and so, my mother. Come, for England!
she just says that first bit without thinking, delighted by the wordplay of it, because she’s following her own train of thought that’s full of worms and beggars, and then claudius just stiffens and sounds really sad and disappointed. it takes a moment to realize why, so she says “my mother” and then it hits her, and the whole rest of her lines are a babbling justification -- she can hate him for killing her father, but she can’t hate him for his gender or for helping her figure out her own. after “and so” she trails off and looks at him with her wide pleading eyes, and winces at the look on his face and just weakly finishes “... my mother”

Hi!!! I love your writing for Zelda and was hoping to request one where readers hired by hilda (readers human) after sabrina dies and ambrose leaves the mortuary, to help out zelda (aka make sure shes not lonely, makes sure she eats and doesnt smoke excessively) and zelda starts crushing even though she’s annoyed af by her new secretary at the mortuary
- ❥author’s note: Hi!! Tysm<3 I really hope you like it, I had a lot of fun writing🤍
Tumblr media
The secretary.
You had known Hilda for a couple of years now and you had heard of their loss. The blonde, usually cheery Brit, worked at the bookstore. She always had the latest gossip about people you had never heard of, nonetheless, Hilda was a polite a friendly woman you were happy to know.
You two were close, it seemed as if she was your only friend in town and you cherished her existence very much. That’s why you couldn’t hesitate to help her after the loss of her niece. „I’m not sure how to ask you Y/n, but I really need your help with this,” her voice carried concern. „Just say it,” you replied not averting your gaze from her worried face. „My nephew is out of town, I have to be here and my sister is all alone and she doesn’t take good care of herself,” she sighed before starting a new sentence, „Would you mind, taking a job at the mortuary as a secretary? Just to make sure Zelda is okay while I’m here?”
„Sure?” It sounded more like a question than a statement. „Don’t worry, she can be very nice when she warmed up to people.” To be honest, this didn’t sound too promising, but to make Hilda feel better you gave it a shot, what could go wrong? Hilda’s „Just don’t tell her you’re looking after her.” should’ve warned you in the first place. Your naïve mind just shook it off, you knew how much Hilda loved her niece and how hard it was for her to lose that girl, you couldn’t imagine how it was for her other aunt, so you felt the need to help.
Two days later you were marching through the woods, thick layers of mud covering your shoes. It rained the night before and you have never been at the Spellman’s house and didn’t know that the way would lead you through the forest. The smell of rain lingered in the air and even though you had never met the other Spellman sister you hoped she wouldn’t hate you too much. From what Hilda had told you she didn’t seem like a charming person, but you didn’t want to judge too much before you actually meet her. When you arrived at their front door you softly knocked and waited for a response, nothing. Another, more eager knock, seemed to awake response in the house because the door flung open and revealed a mischievous redhead. „What is it? I don’t want to buy anything,” the woman scoffed and was about to close the door again. „Hello, I’m the new secretary,” you smiled innocently. Zelda, who you thought it was, rolled her eyes. „Come in.”
You assumed that she just wasn’t the type of person for warm welcomes. Stepping into the house, a cloud of smoke surrounded you, that must be one of her habits, excessively smoking. „There,” she pointed at a table, „Just take the calls or whatever.” As fast as she appeared, the fast she disappeared into the kitchen again. It left you frozen in place. Before you could worry about anything, luckily the phone rang and brought you your first client.
—♡︎
Weeks had gone by and from time to time you were able to check on Zelda. It was hard to do it without waking to much mistrust in the woman. It was late noon and you had brought rice and vegetables for cooking lunch. You knew she would be in there and you might have a chance to talk to her.
You sat at the table, observing the older woman from time to time. It was a miracle, Zelda never left the table, she sat there smoked her cigarettes and read her newspaper, the whole day. It worried you, to say the least, seeing this woman who was smart and also very beautiful, destroying herself piece by piece. „Have you eaten today?” your voice was shaky, fearing she wouldn’t answer. It nearly surprised you when she slightly shook her head. „Would you like to have some rice then?” Just another shake of her head. „Could you at least stop smoking when I’m in here?” I asked. „It never bothered you until now, what is your problem?” Zelda’s voice grew in rage. „Okay, no need to freak out it was a subtle question,” you tried to ease the tension between you two. Zelda averted her gaze and turned a page in her newspaper. „I’m going to cook now, if you want anything let me know,” you almost whispered and got up from the chair. Soon the smell of freshly cooked food filled the kitchen and you placed bits of it on two plates. „In case you develop appetite in the next time,” you said and placed a plate in front of her. You left the kitchen with you. „You’re annoying,” was the last thing you heard before you entered the hall again. „I know.” She may not hate you as much as she used to.
As the day went on no calls were incoming, no people came, nothing at all. „Do you mind if I join you for a while?” you entered the living room with a book in your hands. „No just sit.” Even the living room smelt as if fifty people were smoking in there. You opened your book on the page you last stopped and continued reading the novel. Sometimes coughs interrupted the suffocating silence. It felt good being near the woman, though she doesn’t seem to like you very much it made you feel at ease to know that she was doing nothing severely hurtful to herself. „I really don’t want to bother you, but could you please stop smoking?” you asked anew not bothering to look up from your book. Only a sigh in response, but she stubbed it out. It surprised you, to say the least. Normally smoking didn’t bother you at all, but smelling it so prominently the whole time took a toll on you and when Hilda said that her sister chain-smoked the cancer sticks madly you think it was one of the reasons why she hired you.
—♡︎
Days after, a lot of calls were incoming. It was a busy day and you arranged days for the grieving family members to see their loved one dressed nicely in their coffin. You spent the morning talking on the phone almost with no breaks, you wondered what had happened in the last days that so many people died.
You entered the kitchen when you made sure nobody would call in the next few minutes, to get a glass of water. Zelda sat at the table once again, reading her newspaper. At least she wasn’t smoking.
„Want something to eat?” „I’m good,” her voice sounded strained. „There were a lot of people calling today,” you explained before taking a sip of water. „Is there someone for the morgue stuff or…” you wanted to continue but you heard suppressed sobs. „Oh God, Zelda are you okay?” it almost worried you immediately. You had never seen her like this before, nor did you think she was even able to cry. You quickly scurried over to her, wanting to comfort the woman. The soft sobs turned into uncontrollable cries. „What’s going on, please tell me,” you panicked when the woman buried her head in her hands. „Get Sabrina back!” the redhead screamed through her tears. You didn’t know what to do, you knew you couldn’t get her back. „Zelda, just talk to me you need to calm down alright,” you caressed her cheek. „I can’t.” „Yes you can, get up we’re going in the living room,” you cooed in her ear and took her hand, not caring about the sudden contact.
„Just sit down, it’s going to be fine,” you placed a cushion behind her back. Her sobs became less and less audible until they stopped completely. „Do you want to talk about it?” „I’m sorry I didn’t want to-“ „Don’t apologize Zelda it’s fine,” you forced a smile onto your face. Silence.
„We don’t have to talk about it, we can just sit here in silence,” you reassured her putting her hand back on her thigh, not wanting to be clingy. „Could- Could you take…” referring to your hand she stared down at yours. „Sure.” You took her hand again and caressed her palms with your thumb. Zelda’s body relaxed and she leant back on the couch, letting her head rest on it. A look in her direction let you know she had fallen asleep, sound and peaceful. You carefully placed her hand on a cushion next to her and got up. „Don’t go?” it almost sounded desperate. „I’ll be right by your side when you wake up,” you smiled before sitting down again. Your mind went on and on about how incredibly sad Zelda was, and how much you grew fond of her. You watched her sleep, how her nostrils slightly twitched every now and then and how some of her hair fell into her face. „Y/n!” the sudden noise startled you. „Jesus, what’s happening?” you asked perplexed and closed the book in your lap. „I’d thought you left,” Zelda admitted and sat up straight. „I told you I’ll be here,” you smiled and scanned your opposite. „Is there something you’d like to tell me because you seemed to dislike me from the very beginning, Ms. Spellman,” it was hard to hold back a chuckle. „Well…, I might have taken a liking to you Y/n,” it came like butter over her lips. „I might’ve too,” you took her hand and squeezed it, letting her know that you were there.
„I’m glad Hilda asked you to stay here with me,” she yawned and closed her eyes again. „You knew, huh?” it didn’t surprise you, Hilda wasn’t a secretive person. „We both know my sister.” „Can’t say anything against it.” Zelda’s arm slowly pulled you closer to her, fearing you’d be gone just as fast as Sabrina was. „I’ll be there tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. I’m not going anywhere,” you mumbled and one could almost hear you smile. „I’m not taking the risk,” the grip around you got stronger, but you didn’t mind.

Ahhh I’m happy to see someone else loving The Devil Judge - it truly is amazing 😭😭🖤✨ I love Yo-Han and Ga-on’s relationship I swear let them be destructive together!
I hate waiting for new episodes so please tell me one of your theories, it can be about anything! 🥰
Right?! I love it so much, it's really good to have our lilttle fam getting bigger, can't wait until it airs on Netflix, we will have even more people going crazy about it in here! (at least I hope it will become a Netflix series after the show ends like Beyon Evil - another love of mine) and yes, lawful husbands can be destructive together but only to the bad people pls 🥺
It's tough waiting for new episodes every weekend and at the same time I wish for it not to end so soon. It hasn't finished but I already want Jisung and Jinyoung in a second season or working together in another drama. Their chemistry on screen is too good to stop there
About the theories, there's a few I saw on reddit/twitter and I make my own based on it and after watching every episode, but I think it's too early to talk about them. However, since you requested it, there's some that come to mind as interesting enough to mention.
The fire and the story behind it narrated by Yohan
1- Some people think Yohan did start the fire because he found out about the dirty politicians real intentions and decided to destroy them all in the same place before Isaac could donate the money bc he is "a devil" and capable of that since he was a kid as told by the priest with the school incident and the nanny with the maid and dog thing. side note: not for pranking some kids who bullied him because that's all it seems like, right? But in terms of observing, thinking strategically and being one step ahead when needing to punish the whole classroom who wronged him even as young as he was and feeling satisfied while watching the result and staying out of it. A type of mentality probably encouraged by Isaac and the books he gave him to read, unlike a regular kid who would just fight back or endure it. And we still have to see if it really was Yohan that contributed to the maid's death or if it was something/someone else and the nanny thinks it was him.
They think that Elijah even saw him in front of the door right before the fire started and smiled at him instead of smiling at her parents, like she did in the gates of the cathedral in the previous scene, so that's why she hates him so much now because she can remember seeing him as the responsible for it. But Yohan didn't intend to kill/hurt Isaac and the rest of the family, thinking he could save them or something, and felt guilty that he couldn't do so. Some even said that Yohan delayed too much in trying to save them after entering the church and seeing Elijah getting her legs hurt, that it may have been shock but why would he remember everything and everyone so clearly if he was in shock?
It's a good theory but I have my own remarks: why wouldn't he tell Isaac about the politicians himself if he knew the dirty about them then? They had a close relationship and Isaac gave him books about punishment and everything, it wasn't like Isaac was too naive and wouldn't believe his half-brother. He wouldn't have donated if Yohan told him. "Oh he was being the devil and finding a way to punish them instead of just letting is slide and not donating" still, Yohan wouldn't risk Isaac and Elijah with such a dangerous plan if he could avoid having Isaac and Elijah at all in the destruction scene by telling Isaac about it. It could have been shock and Yohan wanting to look and commit to mind everyone's face in that day responsible for hurting his niece and not caring about anyone else but themselves, pushing him away and delaying his attempt to get to them in time, leaving Isaac and the family behind (after they almost donated them their money) and things like that. So he can avenge them now, like he did in the school with the kids. That's why as soon as he could, he canceled the donation in the most easy way by saying his brother wasn't sane enough to make that decision before dying.
There's also the theories about Isaac being the insane/evil one, which wouldn't surprise me because I've considered it since episode 3 but at the same time I'll not be touching that topic now and I don't know if I ever will unless proven otherwise in some other episode
2- The other theory I have and saw people discussing (the one I'm most inclined to believe because I'm Yohan biased but again it's too soon to be sure) is that the story Yohan narrated is mostly if not completely true and he experiences extreme guilt for not coming back and saving Isaac when the church collapsed on him, as seen in the character introduction by tvN translated in this tweet that we now know it's about Isaac:
Tumblr media
The last words Yohan said to Isaac was that he was going to come back for him, so he experiences nightmares like the flashbacks we saw in episode 1 and that's why we don't see any scene of Isaac in the middle of the church after the fire staring at Yohan or during the fire and turning to stare directly at Yohan when he narrates it. Because they're dreams and his guilty conscience and he remembers them when looking at Gaon. The flashback of Yohan kneeling down and touching Isaac with Elijah's bear close to him could be after he got Elijah out from there and he went back to put the bear next to him kinda like a "Sorry for not coming back in time", a reassurance that his daughter for whom he died for is safe and will always stay with him, a "Goodbye". He wouldn't just let Isaac's body lying there, he would go back even if it was too late.
Another thing is that when Yohan is showing Gaon his scar after telling the story, there's a book fallen at his feet. I think it was the thing that fell when Yohan standed up from the table and choked Gaon (trying hard not to comment on that choking scene as a 🔥 Gahan moment for our delight and imagination bc that's not the point right now lol)
Tumblr media
This is the book:
Tumblr media
And the first page of this book says "Never again will a single story be told as though it's the only one." - John Berger
I searched about it and it can mean that never again will a story be told as if it's the only one that matters. It could also mean that never again will a story be so encompassing of the elements it tackles that no other story need be written about these elements. A story has many perspectives that cannot be understood by just a single viewpoint. Isn't that what this kdrama is all about?
One of the translations of what Yohan said after Gaon left was:
Tumblr media
But there's also another version:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The meaning of what he said changes a bit depending on which translation is more accurate, more so when we add the book quote to the equation.
Kim Gaon and his connection to Kang Yohan
People think Gaon could be Isaac's relative in some way or just a look alike (I think it's just a look alike to contribute to Yohan's obsession/curiosity and their proximity from the start, that's why no one really comments on it, not even Gaon when he sees Isaac's picture). Dear God, let them not be related because it would make shipping our lawful husbands really strange, to say the least.
What I'd like to say and almost everyone is forgetting is that in the tvN character introduction we already have Gaon's past and know he wasn't always a goody two shoes, the man was a juvenile delinquent and can even fight (the rebellious phase he said he made the tattoo in episode 3?). He too sought revenge for his parents when he was 16 because they committed suicide after losing their money and being deceived by multi-level con artists posing as social service workers. But the teacher and Soohyun were able to hold him back.
Tumblr media
Yohan's father could be one of the reasons for their death. He was a loan shark and might have lend them money after they lost it all and it caused them to have a great debt, that's why Yohan did a thorough research on Gaon and was interested in him (not only because he resembled his half-brother). They shared one enemy in common and maybe even a place (churches, Yohan's father tended to confess his sins in a church when his debtors killed themselves). Or Yohan might have researched about him at the time he knew Gaon was chosen to be the associate judge sitting on his left side instead of way before, because it's important to Yohan to know who he is dealing with and the dirty of their past if they have any. And then Yohan discovered everything and saw his picture and resemblance to Isaac.
The thing is: they have the same distrust/repulsion of powerful people who deceive the world and had a painful loss because of that. Both of them think they have the other exactly where they want but they get more confused about what it is that they really want from the other and get closer (as said in the summary of episode 5 that tvN released) while figuring it out. They will come to an understanding and probably join forces at some point. We saw it in the end of episode 4, the scene of episode 5 when Gaon says he can understand Yohan's pain but can't trust him if he doesn't tell him everything and then Yohan says Gaon needs to decide if he will get in his way or stay by his side. Gaon might go back to his rebellious days and stay with Yohan to seek revenge together while distancing himself from Soohyun and Jungho who prevented him from doing so
Tumblr media
And that's about it! Thank you for your ask and hope my answer is satisfying enough! 💙 The hardest but also most awesome part is having to wait to see.

About YZY leaving YMJ/JFM with her kids Post-WWX Arrival
Dear Dee, feel free to delete or ignore this or post it, whatever floats your boat. This just stuck in my head after those posts and I had to blurt it all to someone. Thanks for taking the time to read my word vomit.
So I had to do this instead of an ask because it got long and I wasn't sure how many asks it'd need or how short I could cut it down without losing parts of the argument. And then other things came up as I was writing and, well.  Well..... >_>;;;;
But you know, after that post/ask you had about YZY fics saying 'Fuck U' to YMJ/JFM & leaving both with her kids, I had a sarcastic 'yeah right' attitude about it. Mainly due to a lot of negation emotions to such an abusive (and delusional) bitch, partly due to how she wouldn't do that since it doesn't seem to be something her sort of character would consider either because she'd think of it as 'losing' (losing what, IDK, it's why I consider her type of person crazy) or she legit wouldn't think about such a viable action.
But then later, in the shower, I seriously went 'Wait, she can't fucking do that' and it wouldn't be about how MXTX uses her as a part of the narrative but entirely about the/their culture in the novel; the actions that have and would be taken in response; and her entire toxic personality as well.
1) We already know that the sects and the cultivation world in general is sexist, elitist and so Capital T 'Traditional' to the point that it's starting to petrify and any deviancy from this is an exception rather than the norm. YZY might be a madame of a great sect (for what that's worth considering how shit of a madame she's been and the titles she's chosen for herself) but she's still a woman even with her high rank and the things she's personally accomplished.
Even if she was in her rights to leave a 'bad' marriage, she'd be the one who'd get scolded more instead of JFM by her natal family, her former husband's family and by their entire society at large even if she had a few singular supporters. Because That's Not How Things Are Done in their society and I do believe that such a thing was rare even when it was accepted method by the upper echelons. Especially since it would have to be done by more than YZY simply deciding that She Wants Out and just- goes and Gets Out. With no serious allegations that would allow her to divorce or separate from YMJ/JFM without the input from her family, JFM's family and, I think, possibly some measure of compensation as well. And no, having or bringing in a 'bastard child' is not a serious enough offence for such a humongous decision. I think something more along the lines of treason or crimes against multiple, high-ranking parties would be more along the lines. Maybe.
And even if she does this, she'd be considered 'Used Goods' (such a terrible comment) and there'd be no other good/proper marriage prospects for a divorced woman with children let alone a woman like YZY with her entire abrasive personality and attitude put off even easy-going JFM.
(If she'd been widowed then it'd be more forgiven but I consider that a Real Bad End since, IMO, it would lead to the sudden and inevitable decline of YMJ either via mass exodus of disciples and/or residents of LP; being merged with another sect due to it's unstable leadership; or create an internal political war 'cause I bet you anything that the YMJ Elders/relatives (if they have any) Would Not Want YZY in charge of YMJ when she's already proven herself such a shit betrothed let alone madame.)
2) Speaking of families, while YMJ/JFM/LP as a whole might be glad to see YZY's back, I don't think her natal sect, MSY, will be glad to see her come storming back after all the effort they put into getting that particular marriage alliance with YMJ. And if she brings her children with her? Oh man, oh boy- mother or not, that could be considered as kidnapping or line theft (is that a thing?) especially if YZY is also seriously considering divorce proceedings and raising them as Yu and not Jiang. That could give leave to, for anyone more unforgiving and maybe JFM if he's pushed enough, disown both JYL and JWY from the Jiangs through no fault of their own (though I'm sure YZY would make it so as well as blame JFM for her own decisions and mistakes).
Therefore, any inheritance or benefits they might gain for being legitimised children of a great sect are forfeited. JYL will likely lose that betrothal with JZX because JGS will drop it like a hot potato and JWY won't be a sect heir because YZY literally decided to remove that by deciding to raise JWY as a Yu, no matter their blood relation to JFM. They leave him, they leave YMJ and everything attached with it. Which is if YMJ/JFM doesn't demand MSY to give back their heir/ess and to punish YZY for her actions. Or send all three of them back for the appropriate reactions/decisions.
Their society would demand no less in reaction because, to them, it would seem like YZY had gone mad and JFM would look weak (or weaker) and imply that YMJ is vulnerable and exploitable if JFM doesn't do something in response to her actions. That's not even getting into what the other smaller sects may try to do in an attempt to curry favour with YMJ or what LLJ or QSW would try in order to destroy or diminish YMJ. And whether JFM chooses to demand his children back or not, it may not change the fact that this may give him reason enough to choose a nephew or niece to be the new sect heir especially if, even after getting rid of YZY's poisonous influence, JWY grows up to be his mother's child more than his father's or even his own person.
Either way, such a thing would bring great backlash on YZY, and MSY as well as the collateral. No one would want to give face to her or her children because it would bring up some very uncomfortable questions and scenarios to the other sects- specifically, what would happen if the female members of their clans/sets decided to follow the footsteps of YZY and leave with their children and heirs. Especially if they use it as an excuse to leave for their own comfort and whims and not some legitimate wrongs and dangers. That would create some more restrictions on women thanks to YZY
3) And lastly, if any one of those idiot YZY stans think that she'd ever give up the status of being a madame of a great sect they'd be as crazy or crazier than her. YZY is all about status and power and face. Specifically, her status, power and face and how people in her reach reflect her or 'insult' her. She is a selfish, terrible, abusive and toxic person and can only see people in regards to how they would benefit her and the elevation of her and in no other way. Especially her family. They cannot be their own person, they can only be an extension of her and gods forbid they go against her.
We can see this in how she treats the people she supposedly loves. JFM? Arguments day in, day out along with accusations and slander of cheating, having one(1) supposed 'bastard' and being 'in love' with CSSR. Which all seems sus as hell. And that's when she's actually there and not out 'night hunting'. Even her 'training' seems to border on unhelpful rather then helpful if my vague recollections of juniors fainting from exhaustion can be relied upon (please call me out if they're not or find proof).
JYL? Berated by not being 'strong' but not helped at all to be 'strong'. It doesn't help that YZY seems to believe in the same standards strength in their society- that is, of martial masculine strength which does not and should not apply to JYL who has been said to be sickly. Which means h should have been learning a different way of cultivation/fighting anyway.  If that was something she wanted and had been offered in the first place- which I doubt. That isn't even getting into her repeated generational trauma mess of a betrothal which was decided only by those 'sworn sisters', accepted by her as a way out of her terrible home life and puts her squarely within reach of JGS who we know to be a womaniser, rapist, predator and a possible ephebophile considering we don't know the exact age of his youngest 'conquest' or the age of MZY's mother when they met which could be anywhere from 14 to 21.
JWY? Gods, so much meta on him and his(non-) relationships with his parents that I don't think I can contribute more to it. It's been all said and done. Unless people want me to stir the pot by saying that, maybe, just maybe, YZY resents JWY as much as she 'loves' him.Either because he's her son and yet never manages to 'accomplish as much' as WWX or because he's a boy and therefore, more benefits and allowances than a girl/woman- more than anything that YZY ever got without either a fight or screaming at someone about. *shrug*
So, in conclusion to this sudden an unexpected essay that I wrote(I'm so sorry about that, I thought it would be shorter -.-;;;;), YZY leaving YMJ/JFM with her kids? Impossible. Not without some sort of personality transplant or a complete AU. She's too prideful, too bitter, too angry, too everything negative and little positive. She's a resentful product of the values and restraints of her society taken to the extreme negative with a willingness to inflict her pain on others to an abusive degree. But she's also too obsessed and reliant on those same values and restraints to keep up the image of her status. So her? Giving those up? You'd be more likely to see WRH as a doting grandfather than that.
---
Dee - All of this is true and yes YZY leaving YMJ is highly unlikely. While there will be consequences if she decides to leave, she does canonically lives separately from her husband. They seem to be in a situation where they are married but living separately, which was a common way to end a marriage (at least in spirit) back then. She essentially had all the perks of being Madam Jiang but fulfilled none of the responsibilities.
Afaik, her training the Jiang disciples is a donghua thing? I may be wrong but I recall she spent most of her time nighthunting.
As for taking her children along with her- that's completely impossible. At that point, children were the property of the father. She could leave but she would've never been allowed to take JC.

Tumblr media
It was early morning the next day when Hayley saw your messaged and called the attention of Elijah. "Elijah, I hope Marcel won't do any harm to her. I know she can protect herself but, she doesn't even know what to expect. I should've told her more about vampire stuff." Elijah called you, but to no avail, he received no response from you. Elijah then called Klaus, "Brother, I believe our new friend is in trouble. Marcel asked her to meet at Rosseau's."
"Oh, Elijah. Please, she can save herself. A vampire like Marcel is nothing compared to a hybrid like her." Klaus knows that a powerful witch like you will not let anything happen to herself. "Maybe you can call Rebekah if you want to deal with Marcel." Rebekah overheard this conversation, "Before you call me, the little witch is a bloody genius person. By the looks of it, it'll be Marcel who digged his own grave." Elijah and Hayley looked at each other and sighed. Elijah told Hayley, "I guess we'll just have to wait for her call then."
You found Marcel at the corner of Rosseau's. "So, what is it that you want from me?" Marcel smirked, "Feisty and straight-forward, I like it." You raised your eyebrows, "Just tell me why do you want to see me." Marcel gave you something to drink and eat, but you did not bother to move it. "Thanks, but no thanks. You threatened me the moment I got here, and you expect me to just accept this?" You pushed the food in front of you and he said, "Look, (y/n). I'm just here to be make friends with you. You're interesting." You looked at him, "Why would I want to make friends with you?" Marcel poured you a drink, "Because you are dealing with the Mikaelsons. You need someone who knows them in case things don't go well." You then told him, "Marcel, I know who I'm dealing with. And trust me, the Mikaelsons are not the reason why I'm here. Maybe there's more than just them. You know, like the thing called life and moving on." Marcel then told you how he became a vampire and his life with the Mikaelsons and how he thought of Klaus as his father. "So, (y/n), I'm just telling you to be careful." You smiled at Marcel and said, "Thank you for telling me all of this. I may lack on experience and knowledge outside my pack, but I do know that all of us are not that innocent. We've got bloods in our hands that we're responsible for." You stood up and left him. You checked your phone and you saw the text messages from Elijah and Hayley. You messaged them letting them know that you're fine.
While you were on your way back, Klaus appeared in front of you and said, "Well, done, little witch. You proved yourself that you can be trusted." You sighed, "You were there? Ugh, vampires are so annoying." Klaus smirked and said, "Oh, no love. I just happened to pass by Rosseau's and heard you two. You know, vampires got this thing called heightened senses." Amused, you said, "Oh that's nice. We don't have that. So... where's the moon stone?" You stopped on your tracks and faced Klaus. "It's not that easy to get, little witch. It's like you're telling me to kill all these vampires." You got your phone and typed Marcel's number, "It seems that I'll get the moonstone on my own since the mighty Original hybrid can't do it." Klaus snatched your phone feeling slightly offended and happy, "How dare you say that to me? Are you challenging me?" You snatched back your phone and said, "I dare you, Klaus. Give me the moonstone by the end of the week. Or else, rumor has it that the Original hybrid lost its touch." You left him and texted Hayley that you're going back to the compound to talk what happened with Marcel.
However, when you were about to enter the compound, you saw Hayley tending to some guy. You called the attention of Elijah, "Elijah! Who's that? What happened here?" Elijah looked at you and said, "The Guerrera pack. We thought that they were humans but little did we know that they are your kind. Werewolves. They wanted Hayley and Klaus' child. Rebekah and I were on our way to attend to some business when Hayley called me that the Guerrera pack and the witches are conniving against us and that they're attacking her. But this young man, who happens to know you, rushed to help Hayley."
You walked towards the man and you were shocked and scared, "Aiden?! Aiden!!! What happened to you?! Where's your protection charm?!" Aiden held your hand and said, "I used it against the Lycan Blood Pack. They attacked me, they didn't want my help, our help at all!" You can't think straight as this is the first time you saw Aiden defeated like this. A woman, who happens to look like, approached Aiden and casted some healing spell. "Who are you?", you said. The woman said to you, "Consider this as a thank you gift for saving my niece. I'm Freya. The witch of the family. Before you ask, no, I'm not a vampire." You thanked her and asked Aiden and Hayley what happened here.
"The Guerrera pack happened. Apparently they are wolves who happen to hide the curse for so long. They recently triggered the curse because they were working with some witches to help them become more powerful than the vampires. Sophie called me beforehand that the witches are plotting against us again because they think that this baby is an abomination to this world. And that's when the Guerrera pack and the witches agreed upon." Hayley was shaking. Hayley's a strong woman but you can see that she's scared for her baby. You now faced Aiden, "And you? Why are you here? It's just been what, a week since we started this, explain." You help Aiden change his shirt, for you it's nothing since you've been friends since you were kids but the people around you found it awkward. "I concede, (y/n). The moment I got there, they instantly knew what I was going to say. They rejected my offer. They told me that they already have what we have. That we've got nothing to offer. They won't bow to me as their Alpha. So, I tried another way. I challenged the Alpha." You face-palmed yourself and said to him, "How can you be so... dumb?!" Many things are now running inside your head. "Now that you conceded, I have to finish two tasks. Good, great! I mean, it’s for the seven packs. Oh, god."
Aiden is apologetic to you, "I'll help you. I am strong but I don't think I am fit to be an Alpha, (y/n). I told my parents about my decision. I'm sure your parents are going to call you soon. I'll stay here with you." Next thing you know, Aiden is kneeling in front of you and he let his blood from his hands leak on the floor. He casted a spell on conceeding the competition and giving the task to you. This is also a proof of his loyalty to you. The Mikaelsons and Hayley saw this situation and they were amazed by the fact that they just witnessed someone conceeding the Alpha-candidate status. Hayley, as part of the Crescent Wolf Pack, also kneeled in front of you. You were panicking, Klaus and Elijah saw it right through you. "Oh, god. No, no, no. Both of you stand up. This is insane. Thank you though. Everything's happening so fast. I need a good run to clear my head. Aiden, we're not yet done."

The Champion of Olympus - Poseidon´s Passion
Out of all the three realms connected to the earth, the sea was by far the most extensive one. An entire underwater universe lurked beneath the surface, with more diversity in its inhabitants than both heaven and earth. Poseidon was the ruler of that realm, with the responsibility of maintaining the planet itself in balance. Oceanic currents and tectonic movement were crucial for the mortals´ survival. The god of the sea had inherited the realm after the Titanomachy, given to him by the true embodiment of the sea, Oceanus. He and his titan spouse had given birth to many of the phenomena Poseidon had to keep in check.
But the normally boisterous god was unusually quiet, sitting down in his chariot heading back to the cold depths of his kingdom. The words of his brothers resonated within him. Could it really be possible for Typhon to escape? And more importantly, would he be able to protect all the creatures under his rule? Keeping balance was Poseidon´s primary priority, which made the whole situation even more alarming for him. He took the reins tying the hippocampi pulling his chariot and pressured them to move faster. He had to reach the Oceanic Retreat, also known as the sunken city of Atlantis, to consult with the court about his next course of action.
The palace was located in the center of the underwater capital, adorned with bright gems and bright colorful coral. The city was so deep under the sea, it was unreachable by Apollo´s power. But despite the lack of sunlight, luminescent beings shone brightly to light the streets and buildings. Poseidon´s chariot floated over the gates of the palace and parked on one of the numerous sea gardens, which were filled with creatures and coral normally found on superficial reefs. Triton, Poseidon´s heir, and most trusted advisor greeted him from the gates of the palace.
"That bad huh?"
He asked as soon as he caught a glimpse of the god´s grim visage. The muscular deity approached his son carrying his massive trident with ease, the muscles in his arm pulsing with supernatural strength. The strength to make the earth shake and the ocean rise. Both gods rushed inside the palace to his throne room, while Poseidon put Triton up to date. The young deity was eager to learn the ways of Olympus, for when it was his turn to rise to the throne, so he listened carefully every time his father complained about their extended family.
"How fitting of uncle Zeus to find a way to try to compete with all of you. But if what he and Hades said is right, then we have no time to waste."
"It won´t be so easy son. Our job is to keep balance, and granting divinity to a mortal can very much upset the natural equilibrium of the planet. Just remember where we´re standing right now."
The city of Atlantis, once a thriving metropolis of the ancient world, had fallen victim to the whims of a fallen hero´s delirium and a heavenly dispute. After being defeated by the patron city of Poseidon´s niece, the Atlanteans fell into despair. They managed to get the favor of the god of the sea, who granted power beyond belief to their heroic leader. But this human wasn´t meant to rise as a new god, so the rest of Olympus rejected him, and punished the city by sinking it to the depths of the ocean.
While Triton pondered on his father´s worries, they reached the throne room. A glowing golden throne adorned with all kinds of underwater flora and fauna was in the center of the room, surrounded by a half-circle of different chairs more modest, but still ornamental to symbolize the sea´s royalty. Poseidon stood in front of his throne and slammed the enormous trident on the ground, producing an explosive sound that resonated within the entire ocean.
After a couple of seconds, the god of the sea´s call was answered by the most prominent figures in the oceanic realm. A representative for both the Oceanids, sea nymphs and the Potamoi, the rivers of the world, were the first to appear. Poseidon´s spouse Amphitrite also arrived fast and took her place right next to her husband. Polyphemus came next, the representative for the cyclops who were all devoted to the god of the sea. The old man of the sea, Nereus himself, showed up next. His relationship with Poseidon was more like a truce than a hierarchy, but Nereus´ connection to the ocean realm´s mortal creatures, including his daughters, was a good reason to keep him as an ally. The last one to show up was Styx, the embodiment of the river of the same name coursing through Hades´ realm.
As the court of the sea assembled, Triton took his seat on the right of his father and watched as the gigantic god paraded his muscular physique floating across the room.
"As some of you may know, I was summoned by Zeus for an emergency meeting. It seems the original monster is trying to break free from Tartarus. Is that true Styx?"
Automatically all eyes turned to the river´s seat expectantly. After Hades and the chthonic gods, the underworld river was supposed to know all the happenings of the realm.
"I have heard some rumors, but Lord Hades hasn´t told me anything. Things feel pretty normal in the underworld though. I haven´t sensed any fluctuations within my currents, which are pretty sensitive for any changes in the realm."
"That's very strange, but the fates wouldn´t lie. There is no way they would fall victims of a simple rumor."
Answered Poseidon meditating on the river´s answer. Styx was known to be direct and efficient, seeking to form a bridge between the realms so mortal souls reached their resting space safely. It wouldn´t bother to try and deceive the rest of the deities, especially on such a delicate matter. But then, who was lying? Triton raised from his seat and continued talking, trying to explain the situation his father was telling him about a couple of minutes ago.
"It seems the king of the gods has called for a new Champion to be chosen."
"Is that true Poseidon?"
Asked Amphitrite looking at her husband with worry in her eyes. Poseidon´s days of violence ended eons ago, and she was worried a heavenly competition like the trial of the Champion was going to get the worst out of her husband again.
"Zeus commanded each of the twelve Olympians to choose a champion. As you can imagine, I´m very reluctant to do so again."
Answered Poseidon with a serious tone. The last thing he wanted was to put his subjects through another catastrophe, but something smelled fishy in the whole situation. He wasn´t keen on trusting his family, but the odds were too high. He had to assume the worst in order to prepare. Nereus rose from his seat, his long white beard filled with barnacles floating around him, and talked in a raspy voice that sounded like a shipwreck crashing in the bottom of the sea.
"You have to make a choice Poseidon. We cannot risk Typhon getting out, it would mean extinction for our kind. Your newfound love for balance will have to wait until this situation is resolved."
"How dare you tell me how I should act old man. Remember I am the god of the sea, one of the twelve Olympians, and your ruler. I know what is best for my kingdom."
Growled Poseidon angrily, as his trident caused the floor to shake with fury. Nereus smirked slightly, knowing he reached the god´s weakest spot: his authoritarian nature. No matter how he tried to hide it, Poseidon was infatuated by battle and carnage. And he was going to demonstrate to all the sea that the king still had the will of expanding the realm. A Champion of the sea on earth would create the perfect opportunity to take over the terrestrial plane.
"Leave the sentimentalism aside Poseidon. You have to make a choice. Will you risk the present´s balance to secure the future?"
Everyone looked at the silent god of the sea. Poseidon hated Nereus, but he was right. Balance is not worth it if the future is put in doubt. He had made his choice. As hard as it was, he had to gift a mortal again with divinity. Triton stared worriedly at his father. The advisor knew what his king was capable of, and it scared him. But in the end, the risk had to be worth the benefits. He reached to touch his father´s giant shoulder.
"Father…"
Poseidon then raised his trident, as a powerful twisting current propelled him upwards, going through the open roof and heading for the surface. If his brothers wanted a Champion, they were going to have one. For the sake of the ocean, and the balance of the future.
It was a peculiarly cold day on top of the St. Helena frigate. Ltjg. Gabo Ramirez was making his usual rounds on the top deck, making sure everyone was doing their respective tasks. The young man had joined the navy in hopes of finding some stability in his chaotic life. He had always felt attracted to the sea, its vast expanse offering the peace of mind that a problematic orphaned child needed. Growing up on the coast let him escape very often to meet his secret lover. He got infatuated when he was very young, and his mother was still alive. She took him to the beach every day to collect different treasures like seashells or pieces of broken coral in order to make jewelry out of them. Young Gabo felt proud he was helping support his widowed mother.
His father was a fisherman, but he barely had any memory of him, because he died when Gabo was barely a toddler. His mother told him his fishing ship sank during one of the common hurricanes predating on the beautiful Caribbean coast. But even though the sea had taken one of his progenitors away, Gabo couldn´t help but fall deeper in love with it. As he grew up, money grew tight. His mother tried desperately to provide for her son, so he could go to school and do something with his life. Life pushed her to more desperate means, selling herself so her son could have a future. In the end, things turned out grim for the poor boy.
He still remembered the stormy night when someone knocked on the door of their little apartment. A tall police officer told him the bad news. They found her on a bench close to the harbor. His mother died trying to protect her son. His childhood ended on that instant, and he was thrown down an administrative rabbit hole that turned his life into a living nightmare. He jumped from orphanages to foster homes over and over again. He felt like the world had betrayed him, taking his greatest love away from him. The sweet child turned into a sour teenager, who caused trouble and mischief wherever he went. His only refuge was still the sea. After all that had happened, it was the only place where Gabo felt grounded and alive. After his mother passed away it became his greatest love.
After he miraculously made his way through school, he decided to leave Puerto Rico and enlist in the U.S. navy. He was conscious his life needed to take a turn for the better, so he was mentally prepared for whichever challenge the tough military system was going to throw at him. The problem was, he was not physically ready for them, struggling through the first years of training. A life of chaos had left him with a scrawny underfed body, which was agile enough to get him swiftly out of trouble, but not strong enough to face it.
He remained adamant on his decision, and he endured the painful years of training, swallowing his deep survival instinct of fleeing before he was entirely committed. Gabo was used to swiftly getting out of trouble, thanks to his more cowardly nature. But he studied hard, put his life on track, and was rewarded for it. Now he got to spend a life together with his love, the sea, watching its waves flow into the horizon. A blue paradise extended before him.
Ltjg. Ramirez diverted his gaze from the ocean and went back to realizing his tasks to their full extent. The frigate was on standby close to the arctic sea, between Greenland and Europe, so there wasn´t a lot to do. The wind outside was pretty cold, nothing but dark water and a few small icebergs in the surroundings. He went back into the ship to finish his active shift and get something to eat in the cafeteria.
"Hey, Ramirez! Come here, we´re playing poker. This asshole has been running his mouth about beating you all afternoon!"
Said Lt. March calling him to one of the tables, where some of his crewmates were gathered. The person running his mouth was Lt. Krass. He and March were Ramirez´s superiors, but they had grown to like the mousy kid. His skills in gambling were known on the whole ship and made his crewmates and some of his superiors very interested in testing his skills. Life on the streets had taught him everything he needed to know to be a good gambler, and he had a good poker face to finish his killer combination.
"I can gladly take all your money off of you sir."
Said Ramirez laughing as he sat on the table to play with the cards. Sailors had to enjoy every second of interaction, or else they started suffering some mental issues that came with the constant isolation and lack of new stimuli.
"I´m telling you kid if you didn´t look like a toothpick I would´ve beaten your ass for taking a week´s worth of salary."
Said the much bigger Lt. March in an intimidating way, but just with the right amount of joyfulness to let Gabo know he was joking. He could probably pick the small junior lieutenant and throw him overboard if he felt like it.
"Give him a break March. It´s not his fault you´re a dumb player. Besides, I´ll get that money and will take you to a nice bar with it when we touch land again."
Laughed the equally big Krass punching his mate on the shoulder. In fact, Ramirez was probably the smallest man on board. The 24-year-old barely made the height cut on the recruiting process, and although he had gained some muscle mass from the rigorous training, it wasn´t enough to get close to his crewmate´s giant sizes. But his appearance was what caused his crewmates and superiors to gain a certain fondness for the young recruit. He was the runt of the litter.
After a while of laughing at Krass´s dumbfound expression as Ramirez managed to beat him and take all his money as well, the boys called off the night and everyone was in their chambers by curfew. Ramirez laid on his bed feeling the soft movement of the waves rocking his bed, enjoying the sensation. He thought about his mother and the beach in his childhood, as his memories carried him to deep sleep, completely ignorant of the approaching menace on the cold waters of the ocean.
All sailors woke up at five in the morning, swiftly getting out of bed and lining up to clean themselves. Gabo woke up agitated. He had a strange feeling, but he couldn´t exactly distinguish what was going on. He also had strange dreams that night, about a giant black whale stalking the tumbling frigate, whilst he watched powerlessly from the deck of the ship.
"Not a very good night kid? It must be that guilty conscience for stealing from your favorite superior."
Said Lt. March, who was directly in line in front of him. Ramirez managed to get a nervous laugh out.
"It´s nothing, sir. Just a bad dream."
March looked at him with concern. He really cared for the well being of his subordinates, and he was worried being on the sea for so long was starting to take its toll on the novice sailor. He knew the young junior lieutenant was very passionate about his work, but he was still inexperienced to recognize the effects of long-term isolation.
"Listen Ramirez. I´m your superior, but we´re a team. There´s not a lot to do today, so why don't you take it easy just for a day."
The young recruit smiled broadly at the big man in front of him.
"Thanks, sir, but I can handle work. I know what I signed up for."
Lt. March smiled back, impressed at the discipline of his subordinate. This kid was going to go far he thought, as both made their way into the small shower cabin. While they were undressing, Krass approached March and whispered something to him quietly. Ramirez couldn´t hear a word, but judging by March´s expression it wasn´t good news. Krass then left the bathroom, and March turned around to face Ramirez. His big chest was inches away from Gabo´s face, and his lower part was tightly covered by a small towel.
It wasn´t a secret Ramirez was into both men and women. All his crewmates respected his orientation and felt comfortable around him. So much they didn´t mind parading themselves naked from time to time, testing the young recruit´s self-control. It was harder in the beginning, but now Gabo was used to it, casually having conversations with his fellow naked sailors. He still enjoyed the show, only silently and respectfully. He has had few sexual experiences in the past, but nothing to boast about. Still, his crew was untouchable for him, the comradery far outweighing the lust.
March was another story though. The man sported an impressive physique build through years and years of discipline and hard training. His chest was very prominent, followed by a big muscular gut that was still a couple of inches behind. Powerful arms capable of pulling even the heaviest anchor hung to his side, and tree trunk legs supported the almost 300 pounds man. He was also a good head taller than Ramirez, making the younger sailor a dwarf in comparison. Even though Ramirez tried his best, he couldn´t help but feel a certain level of attraction for the muscular man. After gawking at his superior´s body for enough time, Gabo looked up to hear what he was about to say.
"It seems there is a storm heading our way. It´s gonna be a full day of work after all Ramirez. You´ll get your chance to shine."
Ltjg. Ramirez never faced an open sea storm on his few months on board, so he didn´t know what to expect. A feeling in his gut was telling him to pretend he was sick to stay under the deck, but Gabo was no coward. He was going to do his work and prove why he was there among those big burly men. He finished showering and looked at himself in the mirror.
His dark brown hair was neatly cut in a conscription cut, perfectly square and short. His young face had a scar on his chin product of a street brawl a couple of years ago, but his features still retained the innocent look that came with youth. His beautiful light brown skin was free of any blemishes. His smooth body had slight muscle definition, but more because of little body fat than actual lean mass. He quickly glanced inside the towel to look at his manhood. He couldn´t be disappointed because there were smaller dicks around, but he was nowhere near to someone endowed. He was more like on the average to the low part of the scale. He was feeling good and confident about himself today. Gabo quickly put on his uniform and rushed outside to start his tasks for the day.
He headed up the deck to quickly brush the floors, check the analog temperature measurements and check that the lifeboats were in a good state. People quickly mobilized after news of the storm spread around. The captain made a formal announcement during lunch, telling the crew they should brace for the storm in the early hours of the night. No one seemed to be too scared about it, making their usual jokes and talking loudly lie every day. Still, the feeling in the pit of his stomach was starting to bother Ramirez. He had a bad feeling about today. And as a kid from the street, Gabo knew trusting his feelings was crucial for survival. The nerves were causing him to barely touch his food.
Lt. March noticed the kid staring quietly at his tray. It was unusual for the lively Latin kid to go dead silent, so he approached and sat down next to him.
"Don´t worry kid, it´s just a storm. Occupational hazards. It will be gone sooner than you think."
Even though Ramirez loved the sea, storms were always a cause of anxiety for him. He was reminded that a storm killed his father. And worse of all, a storm was raging the night he found out about his mother. Storms were a bad omen for him. He turned around to face the rugged, but the concerned face of his superior.
"I trust you, sir. It´s just I have a bad history with storms."
"I assure you kid, it´s gonna be a better night than one with you taking all my money."
The light-hearted joke made both men laugh, as the tense aura around Gabo dissipated. He trusted his lieutenant. He saw in him the father figure he never had. They finished eating their meal and dispersed around the ship to finish the preparations for the bad forecast. When the sun started setting down is when the dark clouds started gathering over the frigate. Strong winds pushed everything exposed to the surface, and increasingly agitated waves crashed against the ship, making the most remote corners of the shell creak under the water´s pressure. Ramirez finished his tasks on deck and looked to the horizon for the last time of the day. An ominous dark mass was approaching the ship. Little droplets started falling from the sky. They were the last preface of what was about to come. The junior lieutenant went back under deck quickly as the slow rain turned into a tempestuous downpour.
He found his crewmates in the cafeteria as usual, but there were no games this time. Everyone was eating quietly, expectant of the first order barked through the loudspeakers. March wasn´t there, nor Krass. Ramirez assumed that command was having a meeting about the current situation. He sat down on a corner with his tray, unable to take a bite. All his instincts were telling him to run, to get out of there swiftly, so he could survive. Ramirez was fighting his innate fleeing nature. He kept reassuring himself why he got enlisted, why he was doing everything he was told to. He wanted stability, he craved it. But a part of him didn´t want to leave his past self behind. It was what kept him alive for so long after all. But he couldn´t go back to fleeing from his problem. And most important of all he couldn´t let his crew know he was so scared. Bravery in the face of adversity was a virtue after all. This little sacrifice was for his future self, and no one else.
The sailors left the cafeteria quietly. One by one they retired to their chambers. Ramirez followed his crewmates and was able to go to bed early as he didn´t have any guard shift that night. He zoned out for a while, unable to reach deep sleep. After a few hours, around midnight, the alarm made him jump out of bed and get dressed. He got out of his chambers to see all his crewmates heading for the upper doors. The hallway was lit red, and a reverberating sound echoed through the passages of the frigate. Ramirez tried his best not to fall due to what he assumed was disorientation until the entire crew including him were thrown to the side. He wasn´t dizzy, it was the waves crashing against the ship that caused it to rock back and forth intensively.
When he made it to the upper deck, his fellow sailors were all running to their stations. Many went to prepare the lifeboats, while others reinforced the previously tied up materials so the storm couldn´t blow them again. Ramirez went to his emergency station next to the edge to secure the supplies he was supposed to. The sky was completely painted black, like the furious sea bellow him. Rain poured down intensively, and an icy wind blew with all force against the ship and its crew. Ramirez was freezing, his frail body more exposed thanks to its lack of body mass, and the tempestuous currents kept throwing him around like a little leaf during an autumn breeze.
A big wave crashed against the frigate, making the vessel lean completely to the opposite side. One of the crates on the opposite side of Ramirez got untied and came sliding fast towards the terrified recruit, who was holding on to the rails on the edge for his life. He turned around just on time to see the giant box charging against him, and closed his eyes preparing for the inevitable. He immediately heard his name echo in the distance and felt a powerful pair of hands push him from the back out of the crate´s trajectory. Ramirez looked back just in time to see his protector Lt. March flies off the board into the raging waters below.
"Lt. March!"
Screamed the tearful junior lieutenant. His fear was completely erased in an instant, triggering his quick reaction speed. He grabbed a safety rope next to him and without thinking he threw himself into the mouth of the beast. The black waters of the sea swallowed him whole. The only thing he felt was a bone-chilling sensation taking over his entire body, as he swam in the direction of his superior.
"Kid what are you doing here?! You crazy son of a bitch!"
Said March in a mixture of awe, anger, and gratefulness.
"It´s my duty to protect my crew lieutenant! Quick, grab the rope!"
He handed over the rope to the more experienced March, who started tying a strong knot so the crew could pull them out. Their brief moment of relief ended in an instant, as another giant wave stroke from their side this time, separating the young Ramirez from his lieutenant. The crew started pulling the rope, just to get only March back on board. The big man immediately perched on the edge and frantically searched with his eyes for the young subordinate.
"Ramirez! Ramirez!"
But only darkness remained, with no sight of the young recruit. Meanwhile, Ramirez struggled to swim against a powerful current. He considered himself a good swimmer, having grown close to the water. But no matter how hard he kicked and flailed, the underwater stream kept pulling him downwards. The cold was starting to numb his senses, as he let out a last bubble of breath and his unconscious body was dragged into the infinite abyss.
Ramirez then woke up surrounded by complete darkness. He was laying on a rocky wet floor, dripping wet and feeling breathless. He coughed a couple of times, expelling a good amount of water out of his lungs. He stood up, but couldn't see anything around him. There was no breeze, no sound, absolutely nothing. He was about to take a step when a strong voice made him freeze in his tracks.
"Lt. Ramirez. I´ve been looking for someone like you."
"Who are you? Where am I?"
"Those questions don´t matter anymore child. You´re under my protection, that´s all that matters."
He then heard a resounding metallic sound against the rocky floor and was completely shocked by what he saw. The trident of the god of the sea emitted a powerful glow, which then seeped into the cracks on the bedrock bellow to illuminate Ramirez´s surroundings. He was inside a big air compartment under what it seemed to be the ocean, and in front of him was an extremely muscular man holding a giant trident. Poseidon then approached the young lieutenant, holding up his chin with his strong hand.
"You will do just fine. Your potential is unmeasurable, and you know the meaning of suffering and the price of balance. A noble soul like you will be of great use to me and my realm."
"I have to get back to my ship sir. Please help me, my crew is in danger."
Said Ramirez nervously while he scanned the god in front of him with his eyes. The prominent chest was probably as wide as Ramirez holding both of his arms to his sides, with strong protruding abdominal muscles supporting it. He had the biggest arms he had ever seen, even among the famous bodybuilders he always liked to watch on the internet. His lower body was even more powerful. He was only wearing the lower part of a short white robe, with gold accessories adorning his wrists and belt. Two penetrating blue eyes glowed like the deepest of oceans, set as the highlight of a rugged but beautiful face. The cherry on top was a luscious chestnut-colored beard falling right on top of his upper chest. Poseidon noticed the way this kid was looking at him and smiled broadly. He liked his ego stroked like all the gods.
"The ship was spared. But that passion is what I´m looking for. A loving protector, who is strong enough to crush anything on his way."
He pointed his trident towards the young lieutenant and smiled.
"Meet me on the base of Mount Olympus in Greece by the next full moon. I will grant you the true love of my kingdom, in exchange for your loyalty and strength. I´m counting on you."
A blue light came out of the trident, completely enveloping Ramirez. The cold sensation was gone, together with the exhaustion he felt before regaining consciousness. When the light faded, Poseidon was gone. The air bubble around him started popping, letting water in again. Ramirez was quickly swallowed by the ocean, having only time to briefly hold his breath. Once he could not hold it any longer, he coughed only to find out he was able to breathe normally underwater. He also thought about how he practically was immune to the pressure of the sea above him, not feeling any strain on his body.
He took off his uniform so he could swim better, leaving him only wearing the pair of black boxer shorts he had on, and started exploring his surroundings. The light the trident had infused on the ground remained there and formed a path leading the young sailor forward into the darkness. After swimming for a while, he found the strangest creature he had ever seen. A beautiful horse with the tail of a fish was waiting at the end of the illuminated road. The animal looked at Ramirez, and he immediately knew what he had to do. He floated towards the hippocampus, and rode on its back, grabbing its neck as the animal swiftly swam towards the surface.
He must have been pretty deep thought Ramirez because it took a long time until he saw the weak rays of sunlight replace the absolute darkness he was in before. He could feel the water caressing his body, but it opposed little resistance to the fast creature and the young sailor on top. It also wasn´t cold like before, but getting warmer the more the sea horse carried him through the vastness of the ocean. He was fascinated by its massive expanse and could feel its sheer power pulsating through the water.
They passed all kinds of sea creatures like schools of fishes, dolphins and even a few whales. Ramirez´s connection with the sea grew stronger, together with his love for it. He was so enthralled by the fascinating view in front of him that he missed the sensation the stronger current was causing on his body. The swirling water quickly surrounded him, tying him to the back of the hippocampus and constraining his limbs. Ramirez felt a dull pain product of the waters slowly pulling his limbs and spine further away from each other, rapidly adding inches to his height until the formerly short sailor reached a towering 7 feet height. The pulling didn´t stop there though, as each bone grew to form the canvas for the muscle that was coming in next.
The warm water caressed and massaged each individual muscle, transferring the titanic strength of the ocean to them. The legs holding on to the hippocampus started growing first. It looked like water was being pumped directly into his skin. Quadriceps strong enough to crush rocks between them formed on his upper legs, with edges carving themselves out of the gigantic muscles. His calves were pulled apart and rearranged by the current until two diamond-shaped calves replaced the former toothpick lower legs. His feet grew even bigger for a man his size, necessary for the swift propulsion underwater. The growth moved to his butt cheeks, the sensation finally making Ramirez aware of what was happening to him. He felt a strong cramp in his ass, as both glutei raised further and further from the back of the sea horse. His underwear strained to the maximum under the pressure of the new watermelon-sized ass cheeks.
Ramirez watched his lower body turn into the one of a card-carrying professional bodybuilder. The sensations invading his body were too intense for him to remain calm. He felt incredible awe for the creatures that were crossing through his sight. He felt the warm and pleasurable caress of the water on his body. He felt the strong rocking of the hippocampus´ swimming. And he felt a crushing pain as the pressure in the water reformed his body. He let go of the creature to grab his stomach in pain. He felt like the water was suctioning each individual brick in his abdomen out, and he was quickly left with a powerful eight pack cut into his midsection. His Adonis belt protruded out of his sides, and his serratus muscles carved themselves so deep it looked like the man had developed gills.
Ramirez then felt the current push him from the back of the sea horse, and the sailor fell to the back watching the creature swim away from him. He immediately began swimming trying to reach it, but his newly developed lower body still moved clumsily lacking the coordination needed to move such a heavy mass. Ramirez focused all of his strength on reaching the hippocampus when suddenly a strong water current propelled him forward and he was able to reach the creature. He then realized he was practically flying underwater, enjoying the freedom of moving like a torpedo through the ocean. He swam graciously together with the hippocampus, both dancing synchronized to the rhythm of the waters.
Small whirlpools formed around his brown nipples, sending waves of pleasure through the man and increasing their size to fit into the new gigantic chest that was about to come. His pectoral muscles squared on the lower end, and then pushed further out inflating like two water mattresses. The water was putting so much pressure on his upper body the sailor felt his bones were going to get crushed. Ramirez was left with a herculean chest powerful enough to fight the roaring waves of a tsunami. His shoulders were next, as each deltoid inflated bigger than cannonballs with enough strength to lift an anchor above his head.
He then felt the current pull his arms so hard he thought they were going to be ripped apart. The pressure in his muscles made him wince in pain, while his triceps dripped and grew like marlin´s dorsal fin, pushing the former noodles to the sides of his body, and his biceps inflated like water balloons about to pop due to their sheer size. Massive sinews formed on his upper arms, and his hands grew massively muscular, wide enough to push large amounts of water on a single stroke.
He examined both of his new arms when a cramp in his back made him bend forward and scream in pain. He felt the water vibrating on his spine, spreading the sensation to every muscle like a flare. The upper back started extending and rounding up like a turtle shell, and the lats on each side protruded so far, he looked more like a giant T instead of a V. His back was by far the strongest muscle on his body, designed to propel the new man through the chaotic waters with ease.
The current then swirled around his neck, starting to choke him. The traps raised to connect to his ears and complete the growth of the monstrous back. He could hear his grumble grow lower as his neck expanded with muscle, leaving his head looking like a tiny pin on a godly body. The pain was overwhelming the young sailor. He opened his mouth to let out a painful scream when suddenly water flowed into his body with intensity. Veins started popping out of his limbs, improving the oxygen saturation, and therefore endurance for the giant.
Large veins popped on his lower abdomen, and then he felt an excruciating pressure pushing behind his manhood. His penis then started inflating, far surpassing the limits of the already strained underpants, which were ripped off by the strong currents. His newly improved appendage kept growing and pulsing so much, Ramirez thought it was going to explode. It stopped growing at almost a foot in length, and a jaw-breaking girth. It looked like a glass bottle that was hanging from his legs. His balls were next, inflating to an equine size and falling heavy between his monstrous legs.
Male hormones combined with divine power started flowing through his body, boosted by the invading water current inside of him. He felt a cracking pressure on his head, which grew proportional to the new body size. His angular face grew more masculine, his jaw broadening into a thick square, and his brow pushing further over his eyes giving him a menacing look. His nose then cracked and widened, while his lips plumped a bit more. His already short dark brown hair retreated into his scalp, leaving him with a short buzz cut. The amount of testosterone in his body was so high, his hairline receded a little bit. His face was then invaded by a permanent shadow with the potential of growing a thick beard. The rest of his body sucked in his body hair, leaving his smooth. His beautiful brown skin darkened a bit more. His pores then started producing a small amount of oil, that gave him a shiny look and helped him oppose little resistance to the forces of the sea, making underwater travel far easier.
The current then stopped forcing its way into his body and released his limbs from their invisible shackles. Ramirez started touching his body incredulously, incapable of dimensioning the change he just went through. He felt the raw power of the sea pulse within him. He touched his face and felt his young skin under his fingers. His scar was gone too. The sight of the new man might have been bizarre, due to him still looking young despite his overwhelming masculinity. Ramirez was so distracted by his new body, that he missed the waters getting slowly more superficial and the hippocampus turning around and leaving back into the abyss.
The sailor propelled himself further into the shallowing waters when he was suddenly greeted by the figure of a beautiful young man sitting on an underwater rock. He couldn´t be older than the junior lieutenant, although his presence and demeanor felt older than civilization itself. His long hair flowed along with the current, glistening with silver light. He had the carved body of an Olympic swimmer, with defined and strong limbs made to love underwater and a very wide back developed from physical activity in the sea. He was also completely smooth, the only hair on his body remaining on his head, eyebrows, and long eyelashes. He beamed a white smile as radiant as the sun at the stranger.
Ramirez approached the young Adonis with a dumbfounded expression on his face. Even though his sexual experience was limited, he was very familiar with the feelings of lust invading his body. Only this time, they were overwhelmingly strong, almost clouding his entire conscience. The man got up from the rock and touched Gabo´s muscular chest.
"Father was right, you turned out better than expected."
He had a melodious hypnotic voice almost too beautiful to be coming out of a hunk like him. Ramirez looked down at the man caressing his body. His knees shook nervously, while he let himself be seduced by the apparition before him. But something in his mind suddenly snapped. He felt the pressure from before again, only this time inside his thoughts as if the water was rinsing the old cowardly nature of the sailor. For some reason, the situation didn´t feel right. He was the one supposed to be doing the seduction, not the other way around.
He took the young man from his legs and pulled him close to his body raising him to his same height. He then proceeded to passionately make out with the stud, both their tongues dancing in each other's mouth. Ramirez felt like sea spume was filling his head, making it harder and harder to focus. He started losing his grip on reality. Like waves carving and molding the strong rocks underneath, the magical power carved out a new man out of the young sailor. More and more dominance asserted itself into his persona, replacing the old more submissive nature. His body language was a dead giveaway of what was happening in his mind.
The sea hunk noticed how his lover´s kiss started to grow more aggressive, invading his mouth with a strong tongue. His big hands started squeezing the young man´s ass, ways of pleasuring a person during sex being engraved in his memory. Years of experience pushed their way into the new man, his face growing more rugged with lines of age and his body gaining more thickness that comes with years of labor. His giant manhood was already grown at full mast, stroking the cheeks of his prey like a sea serpent just before attacking and spreading his self-produced oil on his skin. The young man then guided the hard rod to the entrance of his body, pushing down ever so slightly to get the head in.
The hunk had been with many lovers before, but this was still considered to be a very big phallus. He carefully slid down in order to accommodate the muscular man´s size inside of him. Ramirez kept fighting the tide inside his head. He was scared of changing, of letting go of who he was. A part of him still wanted to flee and pretend none of this had happened. But remembering his hometown beach stopped his train of thought. He remembered the beautiful waters shining in the sunlight, of all the creatures dependent on them, from little crabs on the beach to the big metropolis of the world. The ocean´s ecosystem was the most important one in the world, and it had to be protected. The love he felt for the sea turned into a massive tidal wave inside of him that finally broke down all his mental barriers and completely dragged his old personality out of existence. He didn´t have to flee anymore, he possessed the strength to break the earth and part the ocean. He could destroy anything that got in his way of protecting what he loved.
Ltjg. Gabo Ramirez was reborn in the form of Gabriel, the name his mother had originally given him, and the new protector of the sea. The last bits of his personality evaporating like the sea breeze under the scorching sun. His young lover watched in awe as the eyes of the titan started to glow, and a deep blue color washed his former brown irises away. Once his manhood had entered the hunk completely, he started thrusting back and forth with the strength to shake the earth. He was a god among men, and he had the right to be pleased. Still, he liked to share the pleasure with his lovers, and care for them. He liked feeling like the strong protector he was born to be. The young sea hunk smiled broadly knowing the transformation was complete, and let himself be completely dominated and pleased by the titan inside of him.
The sun was already setting when Gabriel came out of the warm waters. He wasn´t in the frosty northern sea anymore but the warm coasts of southern Greece. He was only wearing the bikini strap the young hunk had given him once they parted ways, along with a kiss and the promise of meeting him again. Gabriel looked at the vast sea before him and smiled. He was going to do whatever it took to protect his new home. He was going to honor his Lord´s will by conquering and crushing anything in his way. He still had a couple of days before the full moon, which should be enough to get to Mount Olympus. He then thought about all the life and all the pleasure he could have on his way. He was going to bless a lot of mortals with his sexual prowess. He took one last deep breath before heading inland, his nostrils filling with the salty smell of the sea breeze along with his own radiating masculine scent, his skin shimmering under the setting sun. The giant then disappeared into the prairie, ready for whatever challenge the world may throw at him.

In the distance sitting next to a cliff was Nereus, watching the newly chosen one walk towards his destiny. He found the Olympians obnoxious, but he had to admit they did a pretty fine handiwork. The new man looked like he jumped out of a perverted fever dream, with enough power to shatter the earth with each step.
"He really does feel like he looks, father."
A joyful voice said on the back. Nereus turned around to see his own son Nerites staring playfully at him. The young god loved to play around but was filled with respect for his father. The beautiful merman smiled broadly at the old man, who gave him an approving nod.
"Well done son. I knew Poseidon needed a little push. I´m glad to see his opus got your sign of approval."
"It´s going to be an interesting time after all. Life is just fun."
Said Nerites enthusiastically as both gods stared into the distance wondering about the Olympian´s intricate rivalries and plots in the sky.

All love and pride.
Supercorp, Kara Danvers x Daughter!Reader, Lena Luthor x Daughter!Reader, Alex Danvers x Niece!Reader, Kelly Olsen x Niece!Reader
Word count: 2000.
Check out New Girl and Can you keep a secret? to understand this one better :)
“Wait, wait, wait.” Jamie props herself up in your bed and stares at you, looking lost and confused. “Why didn’t you tell me about the mall situation?”
“I didn’t want you to be mad at Maya.”
“Why not? She was terrible! I mean, I know it’s not how she feels, that was all an act for her mom, and I do believe she likes you, but-” And that ‘but’ comes with a slap on your arm. “How could you not tell me? I would have done something!”
“Done what?” You sit on your bed, crossing your legs, and Jamie mimics your action.
“I don’t know. Broken her arm? Threatened to murder her? Told her that I’m friends with Superkid, and that Superkid would totally leave her in Siberia in case she hurts you?” Jamie is obviously saying absurd things, but that makes you smile either way. It’s stupid, you know it is, Jamie is your cousin, your best friend, and you love her like a sister. Even though you two call each other dipshit and weirdo all the time, there’s nothing in the world you wouldn’t do for her. No lines you wouldn’t cross. But it feels good to know that she also feels that.
“Ok, no need to get all villainess on her.” You reassure her with a smile. “What if you had grown up thinking Luthors are the worst people in the universe? Which, by the way, we can’t blame them for it, my uncle did try to take over and then destroy the world a handful of times.”
“Not all Luthors are bad!” Jamie defends the name like it’s hers.
“Well, not all sharks will kill you.” You tease her, making her laugh. “Do you want to jump into the ocean and test it?”
“You’re too nice.” She crosses her arms. “How can you be so nice?”
“I don’t know. Trust me, I think it’s weird too.” You use your super hearing, then go back to Jamie. “Dinner will be ready in a few. Do we have to go by what we’re going to tell our family?”
“That you’re gay and I’m not?” She shrugs and you roll your eyes. “It will be fine; they won’t have strong reactions around each other. I mean, we all know your moms are terrified of saying something that will make my mami analyze them.”
“Aren’t we all?” You raise an eyebrow and Jamie gives you a soft chuckle in response. You know what’s going on in her mind. Telling them she is straight is probably overdue, since she’s been kissing boys for years now, but it’s still hard. When your whole family is composed of ONLY women, how do you tell them you have the intention to add a man to the girl’s club eventually? “Hey.”
You pull Jamie for a hug, and you feel her breathing out in relief by having your support. You kiss her temple.
“I love you. It’s going to be fine.” You feel one tear falling on your cheek, and you know it’s hers. You let go of her, and wipe her tears with your thumb. “They won’t mind. You know they’ll support you, right?”
“It’s not about support, it’s about expectations.”
“Yeah, I know. Isn’t it weird that in our family the default is being gay, and when you straight you’re the one that have to come out of the closet?” You and Jamie laugh at that. A straight person coming out of the closet. Now that’s something.
“Girls, dinner.” Kelly opens the door of your room, poking her head inside. You both agree with your heads. She sees you’re both too sentimental. “Is everything alright?” Jamie wipes her tears, agreeing again. “Jam?”
“It’s ok, mami. We’ll be there in a minute.” Jamie says and Kelly, the most comprehensive human being on the planet, knows exactly what she means so she closes the door leaving you two alone. If you were the one crying, you know for sure Kara would barge in, wrap you up in her arms, and not let go until all your tears were dried. “To the most awkward family dinner ever.”
Jamie raises her hand for a high five, that soon turns into your special handshake and she laughs.
“I love you, little Danvers. Thank you.” You open a smile and you two make your way to the kitchen.
“That they are!” Kara smiles at both of you, reaching for your shoulder and giving it a little squeeze. “Good to go?”
“Yeah.” You smile when you see her own smile, and Kara agrees with her head. Lena settles herself in one end of the table, and Kelly sits on the other. Kara and Alex sit in front of you and Jamie, after putting the food on the table.
“Hey.” Lena holds your hand before you serve yourself. “Eat some vegetables.”
“You too, Jam.” Alex adds and you and Jamie look at each other while rolling your eyes and smiling.
You two fall silent for almost the entire dinner. Sometimes you exchange looks with Jamie wondering a good time to do your revelations, but the moment doesn’t seem to come. That is until Lena looks at you, squinting her eyes in suspicion.
“You two are awfully quiet today.” Lena says and your heart beats faster knowing the time has come. You can also hear Jamie’s heart going crazy next to you, and Kara furrows her eyebrows looking at both of you.
“Is everything ok?” She asks and you know she can hear the symphony of heartbeats coming from your side of the table, so you can’t lie.
“Well.” You look at Jamie pointing at them with your eyes. Jamie does the exact same movement and you have a stare down for a few seconds.
“Oh my God, can someone say something already?” Alex complains, and Kelly holds her hand like telling her to calm down. She knows there’s something more. Of course, Kelly knows.
“Fine!” You say to Jamie and look at your moms and give them a little nod. “So, I don’t know if you all remember, but earlier today I got a text.”
“From Maya? Yes baby, that was less than two hours ago.” Kara jokes and you smile.
“Yeah, well. Maya is my girlfriend.”
First you hear a unison “WHAT”, from Kara, Lena and Alex. Then, you make up snippets of what they’re saying after they realize what you just said.
“You have a GIRLFRIEND?” It’s Lena’s take.
“Congratulations kiddo!” Alex’s reaction.
“Wait, how did I not know about this?” Kara’s huffs out of her mouth.
“That’s great!” Kelly reaches out to you, stroking your back lightly. “Do you want to tell us about her?”
“She’s cool.” You say, flicking your eyes to Lena’s confused expression and Kara’ stung one. “But, um, Jamie also has something to share.”
“Oh my God, are both of you in relationships and we were all unaware about this?” Alex asks and Jamie shakes her head, denying.
“No, I haven’t found a boyfriend yet.” Jamie says and both of you wait a beat until it sinks in.
“Wait, boyfriend?” Alex looks at Kelly with confused eyes. Kelly doesn’t look surprised at all. “Did you know that?”
“I kind of had figured it out already.”
“You did?” Jamie looks at Kelly, mouth agape. “I’ve been telling you guys I’m gay for years.”
“Yeah, no one can fake being gay, honey.” Kelly laughs her answer and Kara joins, momentarily forgetting your revelation. Alex elbows her and she huffs annoyed.
“Ok, whatever works for you, honey.” Alex finally reacts, and you look at Jamie with a ‘told you so’ expression. She smiles at you, and then at her moms.
“Thanks. Sorry for not saying it earlier. I didn’t want to disappoint you two.” Jamie says looking at her moms, and you raise your look at Kara and Lena, thinking you too are sorry for not saying it earlier. They look a little sad for only hearing your revelation now.
“What? Jamie! You could never disappoint us.” Kelly adds, reassuringly. Moving her hand from your back, to Jamie’s.
“I mean, if you kill someone, or turn into a supervillain I would be slightly disappointed.” Alex laughs and stands up rounding the table to hug her. “But for kissing guys? God, no. Never.”
Their hug easily turns into a family hug, and the subject is dropped for the rest of the dinner. It’s only when the three of them leave, and you and your moms are cleaning the kitchen, that Kara pokes your cheek.
“You have a girlfriend.” She says trying to look playful about it, but you know her so well that you know it’s just an act.
“Yeah.” You lift yourself up, sitting on the counter, getting a reprehensive look from Lena. She doesn’t make you move, though. “Sorry I didn’t mention it earlier.”
“Why didn’t you?” Kara leans over the counter next to you. Lena finished putting the rest of the food in the refrigerator and looks at you, too.
“I just-I don’t know.” But you know. It’s just impossibly hard to say it. “I thought you guys wouldn’t like it.”
“Why would you think that, baby?” Kara asks, squeezing your knee, and you look at Lena still silently staring at you. You stare back at her for a while and she sighs.
“It’s because of me.” Lena says matter-of-factly. “You were scared to tell me. So, you didn’t tell Kara either.”
“Is that true?” Kara looks at you, and you agree with your head, eyes still glued to Lena. “Why? You know your mom will support your choices. We are very happy you have a girlfriend, little one. Isn’t it right, Lena?”
“That’s not the problem, is it?” Lena stares at you for a while more. It’s so crazy the fact that you don’t even have to talk, for Lena to know what’s going on with you. Lena crosses her arms, raises her eyebrow just the slightest and you know she knows. “Who is she?”
“I think you know.”
“The girl from the mall.” Lena tries and you agree with your head. Kara lets out a loud gasp next to you.
“That’s why you were so quick to defend her!” Kara seems to have a revelation moment next to you, and you smile.
“She called you weird and you kissed her.” Lena is smiling hard, seconds away from laughing out loud at you. “Why is that the most Luthor thing you’ve ever done?”
“She didn’t mean it like that. I mean, she did in front of her mom, but-” You get down from the counter and go to Lena. “She can see past my name and she’s the first one that does not care about it.”
“She didn’t sound like it.” Lena says and you look at her. You really look at her. She looks like a worried mom. And not because you’re kissing a girl who doesn’t seem to like your name, but simply because you’re kissing someone, she knows nothing about. Her overprotective side is really shining through.
“Mom, I promised you I would never let anyone belittle me, or take my light away from me, remember?” Lena agrees with her head. “She’s not. She really isn’t. I know this is, um, different.” You look back at Kara when you say this, and she comes closer. “Can you both trust me?”
“We trust you.” Kara says with her hands on your shoulder.
“Of course we trust you, babygirl. And I’m glad she is adding up.” Lena kisses your cheek and smiles softly. “Because you know the rules of this house. It’s all love and pride, and never, ever, putting our heads down for who we are.”
“I know.” You hug her with one hand, and with the free one you pull Kara into the hug too. You three hug for a few good minutes, until you let go and look at their proud faces to you. “No following her around National City, Supergirl.”
“Aw man. That takes away all the fun!” Kara complains, making you and Lena giggle.
All love and pride, for sure.
Notes:
Thanks @sophixsa for wanting more Jamie into the stories. This was pretty sweet, I hope it counts ❤️💙

Way Down We Go
Arvin Russell x fem!reader
warnings: well, just about everything from the movie is mentioned, death/murder/suicide, (non-descriptive) sex, pregnancy mention,
a/n: im begging you to read this in a southern accent - i did change it up JUST a little i hope thats okay (y/n was just w/ arvin when he did some of the stuff he did)
prompt: anonymous: “uhm, oneshot for being arvin russell’s girlfriend and him coming back for you after he kills the sergeant? and maybe you two run away and get married and name your first kid after lenora?”
Tumblr media
Soon enough, you and Arvin needed to split from your boyfriend’s hometown, Knockemstiff. He’d just shot down the sheriff and you weren’t sure if any authorities were going to believe your story. You two had to run.
“I’m so sorry, y/n. ‘Shoulda never got you involved in any ‘a this.” Arvin was beating himself up as the two of you dragged your feet on the side of the road, hoping you’d find a less murderous ride along the way.
“Don’t you dare apologize, Arvin. They all had it comin’ and you know I wasn’t gonna let you go off alone.” You halted your step in the grass and grabbed your boyfriend by the bicep, forcing him to stop, as well. He hesitated to turn around and look you in the eye, but when he slowly did, you could see tears brimming in his eyes. You’d be a liar if you said you didn’t want to do the same, but someone needed to have a level head right now, and after everything Arvin just had to do, you were prepared to take that responsibility. “Baby, we’re gonna be fine, I just know it.”
“I don’t believe that for a second.” He mumbled as the tears began to flow. Your hands found themselves gliding up his dirty arms and shirt, finally reaching his clenched jaw and helping him to relax. “You’re so good to me an’ I just made our lives so much harder.”
“So we start somewhere new, okay? We’ll take a ride with someone on the interstate, make it to Georgia or Florida. I’ve been hearin’ some good things ‘bout Florida, they’ve got it all.” Arvin nearly cracked a smile at your optimism, he never knew how you’d be able to find light such a dark situation.
“I was thinkin’ about doing what my daddy did all them years ago.” He mumbled to you, as if he were unsure about going down that path.
“You gon’ keep on going or leave me hangin’ over here? You never talk about your father, tell me something new.” You pushed on, finally getting a smile out of him as the two of you continued your trek away from trouble.
“Well, he met a girl, fell in love, settled down far from home...” Arvin told you, trying to remember wha his mother’s face looked like.
“You’ve done two ‘a those things so far, go on.” You laced your fingers through his and gently swung your arms back and forth with each step.
“They started a family.” He said, looking up at the cloudy sky. Almost as if he could see the two looking back down at him. “A family could be nice. Maybe a dog, too. Jack really was man’s best friend.”
“I could see us doin’ that. We just gotta find the right place and we’re as good as gold.” You nudged Arvin with your elbow and he forgot all about the heinous scenes he’d left in the hours before, all that was on his mind now was what your future may look like. And to him, it looked amazing. Maybe you two could put the past few weeks behind you and just be happy again. No more pain, no more fear, just love for one another.
“We’re gonna be okay, huh?” Arvin asked, knowing already that you’d agree. A good deal of time went by before any cars passed by, but sooner or later a Volkswagen slowed down beside you and let you hop in. You knew hippies were a little weird, but they loved peace more than anything on this planet. Your odds were pretty good, so you climbed right inside and took a seat in the back, making conversation with the driver while Arvin got some much-needed shut eye.
“So, where are you two lovebirds heading?” The long-haired man asked, thankfully snapping you out of a daze consisting of dropped bodies and images you may never get out of your head.
“Oh, nowhere in particular. Just south.” You nodded along with your answer and the hippie chuckled, liking the answer you gave him.
“Looking to get a little lost? I like it.” You were distracted by his long hair flying around with the window cracked open just a bit.
“Yeah, I guess we are. We were thinking Florida would be a nice place to go, ever been?” You sparked a bit of conversation.
“Definitely! ‘The Sunshine State,’ doesn’t that have a nice ring to it? You guys’ll love it, I’m tellin’ ya.” The man’s enthusiasm was no joke, you needed the upbeat attitude he gave you, though. For a while longer, you talked about travel and this mystery man’s eventful life, it gave you hope that this new life you were about to start wouldn’t be as scary as you were thinking.
—————
Arvin woke up from yet another nightmare, it seemed like it would never end. It’d been four damn years since you two had left Knockemstiff and ended up in a little town by the name of “Palatka.” It was home and it was just the way you liked it.
“Hey, hey? I’m right here, Arvin. We’re safe.” You raised your hand and placed it on his bare, sweating chest as it rasised and fell from his panting. His eyes finally adjusted to the darkness and he saw the concern on your face while he just stared back at you. “You alright there, hun?”
“Yeah...” Arvin sighed, wishing that he’d stop seeing the faces of the people he’d shot down all those years before, they always seemed to haunt him in his sleep. He leaned back against the wooden headboard he’d crafted himself and reached his hand out for yours. “Sorry, darlin’, I didn’t mean to wake you.” Your husband’s thumb trailed over the back of your right hand.
“It’s alright, I was just about to go check on Lenora anyways.” You gave him a kiss on the forehead and threw the covers off of yourself, swinging your legs off the side of the bed so you could get your slippers on. You shuffled out of your bedroom and across the squeaky floorboards, reaching the door of your daughter’s bedroom. Slowly cracking the door open, you tiptoed inside and found Lenora, still sound asleep in her bed.
She was a good namesake to her daddy’s late sister, you know she would’ve loved to meet her niece. What a shame it was, but at least you honored her memory the way you did. It was Arvin’s idea, after all. God, she looked so much more like Arvin every single day. You couldn’t help but smile as she let out a little moan while stretching in her sleep. And you couldn’t believe you created that, you were a mother with the man you loved most.
You made a stop in the kitchen real quick so that you could get your husband a glass of water, then went back on to your room. Arvin was now sitting there with his bedside lamp on, swiveling his head towards you as you came back inside and closed the door. “Water?”
“Please.” He reached out and grabbed the glass. “Thank you, y/n.” Arvin said into the glass before taking a sip and setting in down on the bare wood of the nightstand.
“Ahem.” You cleared your throat and cocked an eyebrow, leaving Avrin puzzled. “Coaster.”
“Right, sorry.” He lifted his glass up and put it on the coaster directly next to it. “There we go.” He told himself. You crawled back into bed and scooted closer to your husband, leaning your head on his shoulder and draping your arm across his body. He gently rubbed his rough, working hands over your upper arm and gave you a sweet kiss on the forehead. “How was Lenora?”
“She’s still asleep, thankfully.” You answered with a hopeful little smirk. Your daughter obviously wasn’t a sleeping angel every night.
“That sure is news.” He traced his finger back up your arm and to your chin, guiding it to move up so that you could face him. He placed his lips to yours and drew back ever-so-slightly. “You wanna fuck while we have a chance?”
“Yes, sir.” You whispered and he had spent no extra time jumping on top of you and getting right to work. Before becoming a parent, he never stopped to think about how he’d absolutely have to find the right time to do what he wanted, because the rest of that time was dedicated to caring for his kid in one way, shape or form. In the end, he didn’t mind a bit. Being a father and a husband were two things he’d loved more than life itself and he hoped that his parents would be proud of the man he’d become. But right now he just wanted to spend some time with his loving wife, and that’s that.
